Speaker 1 (00:00):
DFW. It's time to welcome Welcome the Kid by the Kid.
Speaker 2 (00:08):
You need a Kid in the Morning, starring the one
and only Candice Lopez and producer Pooh.
Speaker 1 (00:13):
Really the Kid in the Morning, incredible life and logo.
Really's a Kid in the Morning. We're going a right
good morning. It's makes one or two point nine Billy
the Kid. Candaslopez, it's your producer. Poo is here. I've
already been startled by a Candis Lopez sneeze. And it's
(00:35):
not even a six am for somebody so little and
so quiet. She sneezes like a three hundred pound trucker.
Speaker 3 (00:41):
Will they just come out of nowhere? I would give
you a heads up if I knew a heads up,
but I don't even know that they're coming.
Speaker 1 (00:47):
I gotta record one, but I just don't. I need proof.
It's like bigfoot, I need proof.
Speaker 3 (00:52):
They just like process in my body so fast. I
have no idea they're coming.
Speaker 1 (00:56):
She's so quiet all the time and so like delicate,
And then that sneeze comes up. Did it not scare you?
Scare me? I'm sorry, guys, I know it's fine.
Speaker 3 (01:04):
I'll really try. Maybe I just don't notice it. I'll
try to pay attention more and feel it and give
you a heads up.
Speaker 1 (01:09):
Just start flailing your arms or something so we know.
Speaker 3 (01:11):
Okay, like this, And I'm just gonna say, can we
come up with a code word or something.
Speaker 1 (01:15):
I don't do that that's terrifying something, are you?
Speaker 3 (01:19):
I'm good. I'm just curious how we feel about just
doing stuff in public in our lives on our own,
because yesterday I went to make Amazon returns and the
line was like so long, and the lady was like,
you know, there's a kiosk right and I was like, oh,
I don't know what that means. When then I figured
it out. They have a whole setup. Have you seen
this where you just do your own Amazon returns where
you scan your code. This is at the UPS store,
(01:42):
so it's like a little box and then you scan
your code. If you have it on your phone, it
prints out the label. You fit it in the bag
yourself to answer all the questions they would answer and
throw it in the bin.
Speaker 1 (01:51):
I'm getting a part time job, yeah, yeah, because we
were staying job.
Speaker 3 (01:54):
I sacking groceries at some you know, grocery stores on
my own.
Speaker 1 (01:59):
They started doing that at racetrack. You know, I go
there every morning for my coffee. Yeah, every morning. And
now I mean there's always at least two people there. Yeah,
and now there's four self service checkouts. Really, so I
have to look up where my large coffee is and
they usually try to get me. But sometimes they're busy.
They're doing so much. I don't know what they're doing,
but they're always walking around doing something.
Speaker 3 (02:20):
Mopping and stuff.
Speaker 1 (02:21):
Mopping.
Speaker 3 (02:21):
Oh yeah, so much mopping happening.
Speaker 1 (02:24):
So much mopping, Yeah, happening. You know what a quick trip.
I will give it a quick trip.
Speaker 3 (02:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:29):
That robot he's violent, that guy. I swear he purposely
comes after me. Have you ever seen him?
Speaker 3 (02:38):
No, min doesn't have that.
Speaker 1 (02:40):
Oh, they have a robot that mops and it will
hit your toes. It will give you a flat tire
so quick, yes, and then it just stops and looks
at you, and you look at it and you're like, dude,
I'll kick you right, yeah, get out of here. You're
right though. There's a lot of companies starting to do
things where we have to do it ourselves.
Speaker 3 (02:55):
I know, I feel so bad when I see the
person checking me out at the grocery store. And then
they've got a all my stuff, you know, on their own.
So I always jump in and help because I feel bad.
Speaker 1 (03:04):
Yeah, but the problem is sometimes that's only option is
there's self checkout. There's like one line so long, and
then a lot of times on the you know, grocery store,
I don't want to bag everything. And it's not because
I'm lazy. It's because there's not enough room on that
self checkout, yeah, to put everything down for sure. So
I'm like, now I'm leaving stuff in the cart, I'm
trying not to forget something, and the person's watching me.
Look I'm stealing. Yeah, I'm like this a lot.
Speaker 3 (03:27):
I just couldn't believe they trusted me to make my
own Amazon return that. You know, the bag was all wonky,
the sticker was wonky. I'm like, I hope they figured
this out. I did my best, Love, that's a good point.
Speaker 1 (03:38):
Well you did it. I'm sure you did fine.
Speaker 3 (03:39):
Thanks.
Speaker 1 (03:40):
Mine would have to beat I don't know, it would
probably be come back in the mail like you did
this wrong. I'm pretty sure. Who is here? What's up? Who?
Speaker 4 (03:46):
Speaking of walky, yesterday I went and picked up my
thirteen year old Paul he's back from camp?
Speaker 3 (03:51):
Was so fast?
Speaker 1 (03:52):
Well, how long was the camp? A day?
Speaker 5 (03:54):
No?
Speaker 1 (03:54):
He left Friday, he did, Yeah, it's not even a week, Yeah, Friday. Yeah,
I got back yesterday afternoon. So I picked him and
his friend up.
Speaker 4 (04:05):
I drop his friend off, and then next thing I know,
we're taking off and his friends runs up to the cart.
Speaker 1 (04:09):
Hey, can y'all help me? His chocolate lab got out.
Speaker 4 (04:13):
So I spent and probably about two and a half
hours looking for his dog, and I find him.
Speaker 1 (04:18):
He's chilling and there's a creek where all these DUTs are.
He's just swimming in the creek.
Speaker 4 (04:22):
Just just chilling. And I'm like, I'm like, his name
is Charlie. I'm like, Charlie, Charlie. He looked at me
like fool, I'm chilling, New Egg. I'm living my best life.
Went to trying to get a dog to call.
Speaker 5 (04:36):
Well.
Speaker 4 (04:37):
I will say this though, I was walking around again
for Charlie, come here, Charlie.
Speaker 1 (04:44):
Did Charlie ever come because I'm not especially if you're
doing that hand motion, I'm not coming over here, not
coming over to MEA no, I'm.
Speaker 4 (04:54):
But I will say I was walking around all that time,
and I wasn't winded.
Speaker 1 (04:59):
It's the working out y'all.
Speaker 3 (05:00):
Wow, Day two.
Speaker 1 (05:01):
Yeah, of course I couldn't work out yesterday with you.
I worked out yesterday, but I couldn't work out with you. Yes,
I'm not entirely sure you did. I did.
Speaker 4 (05:10):
I went live and I didn't save it, but you
went live.
Speaker 1 (05:13):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (05:14):
I was dead on.
Speaker 1 (05:15):
Yeah. I was clicking and I was like, am I live?
Speaker 4 (05:17):
And then I started seeing people give me the like
the fist up fist bump emoji, and I was.
Speaker 1 (05:24):
Like, oh man, I'll accidentally go live because I was
messing around. I was. I was trying to, you know,
walk on the trail. And you didn't save it. No
I didn't. I said, poo, make sure you have proof
that you were.
Speaker 4 (05:34):
People said they were going to call in this morning
and they said, hey, the phones ringing, it's barely six o'clock.
But yes, I did walk on the treadmill. I did
it for sixteen minutes, okay, god.
Speaker 2 (05:46):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (05:46):
And I went over there to the little bench press thing.
Speaker 4 (05:49):
I didn't do any curls or anything like that, but
I did that bench press.
Speaker 1 (05:53):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (05:53):
I did like three reps of that, right, three reps
of twenty oh Okay, three reps.
Speaker 3 (05:59):
Did sixty reps in three sets.
Speaker 1 (06:02):
There we go, Okay, got it, there we go. How
much weight? Huh? How much?
Speaker 4 (06:08):
It was like eighty that's okay, Yeah, yeah, that's all
the matter, trying to be a hero.
Speaker 1 (06:13):
Well, yeah, I went to work out, you soay, guess
what happened to me?
Speaker 6 (06:15):
What? So?
Speaker 1 (06:16):
I noticed that it might storm, and I'm like, man,
I do not want it to storm on my you
know car. I don't want it to hail in my car.
So I'm gonna just go up to the rec center,
get some cardio in work out. I'm gonna take my
golf cart. Okay, all right, So that way if it
storms whatever. Not only did it start storm and it
started hailing on me sideways in my golf cart and
(06:37):
it was hitting my legs and I was like, you
knew it, Billy getting hailed out.
Speaker 2 (06:43):
Let's texts tough stories on the tents with Billy the
Kid in the.
Speaker 6 (06:47):
Morning only on the New Mix one two point nine, We're.
Speaker 1 (06:51):
Trying to wake up. Let's go Disney World. You want
to go first shot? Coming up at six forty a
chance at that vacation, Candice Slopez, what is going on?
Speaker 3 (06:58):
Yeah. Well, yesterday it was the MAVs. It's the Stars.
They are moving to Plano. Nice ay, Yeah, yeah, the
Dallas Stars have agreed to build a new arena and
entertainment district where the shops at Willow Bend are now.
So we're talking park in the toll Way. So back
in February, the city of Plano submitted a letter to
the Stars showing their intention to build a one billion
(07:18):
dollar arena there. The agreement right now is non binding,
but according to a press release the Stars sent out,
you know, they're saying the site would include sports, entertainment, retail, dining,
public gathering space. Is literally the same conversation we had
yesterday about the maps.
Speaker 1 (07:34):
I remember, I told you I said it's going to
be the Willow Bends Stars. Yeah, and the Valley View
mass right, and here we are, let's go not see.
I don't know though, because selfishly I want them to
be there because I literally live right down the street.
Right then, there's a part of me that says, is
this the best thing for Dallas? For worth?
Speaker 3 (07:52):
Right?
Speaker 1 (07:53):
Is it? I don't know. I'm sure the Stars have
done plenty of research to see where their clients and
their most season ticket holders are and where the business
and where the population is moving. So I know they're
smart when it comes to this, right, But then I
think about the traffic. The tollway is not.
Speaker 3 (08:08):
Huge, No, and the nearest Dart rail stop is Parker Road,
which is like eight over eight miles away, which a
lot of people are saying, like public transportation is a
major issue. We still have five years though, I know
there's still time to figure it out.
Speaker 1 (08:22):
But public transportation in the city in general sucks. Yeah.
I mean I love Dart but it just I mean,
that's why I advocate for it to be more places. Yeah,
like make it happen dark.
Speaker 3 (08:32):
Like I love riding the rail if I can. It's
just so easy. I don't know, it's something fun about it,
you know, it's different.
Speaker 1 (08:39):
I love it. I think we should do it more,
but I don't know. I mean, I'm excited. I know, Cannice,
you're not.
Speaker 3 (08:45):
Yeah, I just I love our sports being a in Dallas,
and also I just love the downtown vibe. But we
just have a lot of work to do in downtown
Dallas to get you know, it to where it should
be in my opinion. But you know, the Plano City
Council still has to this new arena, so they're gonna have,
you know, a meeting on this June eighth.
Speaker 1 (09:03):
Why would they not. Yeah, I mean there's gonna be
so much money coming into city because of that. But
then the traffic is gonna be insane, like I think.
I mean, that's how you get to work every day.
Speaker 3 (09:11):
Yeah, I mean it's gonna be a public hearing, so
I'll be curious to see what people think because people
have been split on these two teams, you know, moving,
you know, since it started becoming a rumor. But the
new arena would cost over a billion dollars. I think
Plano could pay seventy seven hundred million of that. Yeah,
but yeah, it's just sad to see, you know. And
even Marcus announced yesterday they're leaving downtown Dallas.
Speaker 1 (09:35):
There's obviously a problem in downtown Dallas. Yes, I mean,
I don't know what that problem is. I'm just the DJ.
Speaker 3 (09:40):
Right, I don't know the politics that are happening.
Speaker 1 (09:43):
I don't know either, But I will say this, it's
not sustainable to have businesses down there around American airlines
because look at all the businesses that go out of
business quick You know, Victory Plaza is amazing. Yeah, but
you can't rely and have a restaurant paying one hundred
rand a month in rent. Yeah, and then to stainded
off of mav season right in American airlines, they just
(10:03):
they don't work. So the business model who wants to
go open a business there when it fails?
Speaker 3 (10:08):
Yeah, no, for sure. More to come on this though,
for sure. Guys, here's some good news. If you thought
that was a good or bad. White Castle officially broke
ground on their new location in the colony yesterday.
Speaker 1 (10:20):
I mean if White Castles coming north, yeah, everything's coming
north Kandas Yeah, just move it is. When are you
going to realize me?
Speaker 3 (10:28):
I've considered it.
Speaker 1 (10:29):
North of six thirty five is the way to go.
Speaker 3 (10:32):
It's way more expensive too, I don't know, and it's
harder to get homes. Well you're putting in you know, uh,
when you're putting in offers.
Speaker 1 (10:39):
Well north of That's why I just like po and
I live under a bridge in Carrollton.
Speaker 3 (10:45):
But this isn't the colony, of course. It will be
their first location in Texas, part of Grandscape. But they
were out there yesterday using these like spatula shaped shovels
to break the ground and then they did their ceremonial
sprinkling of the onions, which they do for the future grill.
But I mean white Castle been around for one hundred
and five years. They're expecting, you know, to bring in
(11:05):
at least seventy new jobs to the community and that
one location when it opens.
Speaker 1 (11:09):
Would you see what they just announced to what else
is coming to Plano yesterday?
Speaker 3 (11:13):
Samsung?
Speaker 1 (11:14):
Yeah, Samsung moving their headquarters to plan out from New Jersey.
I mean it's insane right now. Yeah, traffic is going
to be so you think it's bad now just wait,
It's getting worse.
Speaker 3 (11:24):
It is for sure. But that White Castle will open
in late fall of this year. Do we have time
for a list or no? Because I got a candice.
Speaker 1 (11:31):
I have to I will always make.
Speaker 3 (11:33):
Time, okay, Because a new survey found that fifty four
percent of pet owners wish they could talk to their
pets to find out what they think and feel. So
I have the top ten questions people have for their pets.
I will give you all ten, but I'll give you
some of the top ones.
Speaker 1 (11:47):
What's the percentage get a pew fifty four? Why would
it not be one.
Speaker 3 (11:50):
Hundred, right, who doesn't want to know their pets thing?
Speaker 1 (11:53):
Talk to their dog?
Speaker 3 (11:55):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (11:56):
Well, okay, any of you go ahead.
Speaker 3 (11:57):
Yeah. So number five on the list was what's actually
happened in that head?
Speaker 1 (12:01):
Yeah? I feel like I do talk to my dog?
Speaker 3 (12:03):
You do?
Speaker 1 (12:03):
Yeah? But okay, I would ask him that.
Speaker 3 (12:05):
Yeah. Number four was what's your favorite thing we do together?
Speaker 1 (12:08):
I know I already know you do? What is this swimming?
Speaker 3 (12:11):
Okay?
Speaker 1 (12:11):
How do you not know that? You know what your doglets?
You don't even have to use words? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (12:15):
No, for sure. Number three was do you understand every word?
I say, it's a weird question, very weird. Question two
was do you like your life? And number one was
are you happy?
Speaker 1 (12:26):
I would ask one is rightfully? Number one?
Speaker 3 (12:28):
Okay, I'd be like, what are you happy?
Speaker 1 (12:30):
What you need?
Speaker 3 (12:30):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (12:31):
Well?
Speaker 3 (12:31):
Number ten was the most interesting. Which family members do
you like and dislike?
Speaker 6 (12:35):
So?
Speaker 1 (12:35):
Yeah, I know the answer would be.
Speaker 3 (12:38):
Me get the tea from your pets, that's more important.
Speaker 1 (12:40):
I mean, I'm the one who feeds them better like me?
Speaker 3 (12:42):
Yeah for sure?
Speaker 1 (12:43):
I mean why would you not want to talk to
your doctors? Don't? Fifty four percent?
Speaker 3 (12:47):
Yeah, it's wild, weird.
Speaker 1 (12:48):
I just wish I could talk to Pooh sometimes, you
know what I mean?
Speaker 3 (12:51):
Like sometimes are you happy?
Speaker 1 (12:54):
Who on the show is your favorite?
Speaker 6 (12:57):
All?
Speaker 1 (12:58):
Whoever feeds them?
Speaker 3 (13:01):
Those are your Texas top stories.
Speaker 1 (13:03):
The first caller of the day right now, Benton Boone.
Tickets up for grabs. What's your name, Connie? What's up? Connie?
Guess what you're calling?
Speaker 3 (13:09):
Number one?
Speaker 2 (13:12):
Am I really?
Speaker 1 (13:13):
Yes? You for Connie? Congrats?
Speaker 5 (13:15):
Oh, thank you so much.
Speaker 1 (13:16):
That's awesome. Yeah, you got tickets to go see Benton Boone,
who puts on such a good show. He flips like
seven hundred and fifty eight times just during one show.
I don't know how he sings so excited? Good?
Speaker 5 (13:26):
Well, good?
Speaker 1 (13:27):
Where are you from, Connie?
Speaker 5 (13:28):
I'm from Austin.
Speaker 1 (13:29):
Oh you are? Do you live up here in Dallas now?
Or where you still out there listening to the iHeart
Radio or what?
Speaker 5 (13:35):
No, I'm up here in Dallas now.
Speaker 6 (13:36):
Oh good?
Speaker 1 (13:37):
Well, thank you so much for having us on. We
appreciate that, Connie, and have a great day. It's gonna
be a good day now. It's got to be right.
Speaker 5 (13:43):
Heck, god, it is.
Speaker 1 (13:44):
I like that. I like that. Connie. Well, thank you
so much. You stay right there. Okay, thank you, you're welcome.
We get a lot of love in Austin. So shout
out to Austin. A lot of listeners on the iHeart
radio app. We and a listener the other day, Yeah,
we love Austin. We had a listener the other day
from not only Vermont saying that wrong, shame me, Vermont.
Speaker 3 (14:04):
Well, you were saying Vermont.
Speaker 1 (14:06):
Vermont, Vermont. I'm not getting into it, CAUs Okay, okay,
just go eat your beans, all right, Vermont. We had
someone from aure you go, North Carolina? Okay, am I
saying that room?
Speaker 3 (14:20):
Yeah? Okay, either way, it's just the accents. Maybe it's
just sometimes your Detroit comes out.
Speaker 1 (14:24):
Now I've been here Vermont one hundred years.
Speaker 3 (14:27):
Yeah, but you still say certain things like you would
back home.
Speaker 1 (14:29):
Well you have a Mosquite accent.
Speaker 3 (14:31):
Yeah, Vermont? All right, North Carolina?
Speaker 1 (14:35):
Real fake news right now? All right, I'm gonna give
you three headlines to gonna tell me which one is fake? Okay,
Candice usually wins it. See if she does. Today. Headline
number one, little girl questioned by police after setting up
a petting zoo outside of her house and charging people.
Oh alone, Little girl questioned by police after setting up
(14:56):
a petting zoo outside of her house and charging people.
Headline number two influencer Ugh influencer detained for posing as
real estate agent to film tours of multi million dollar houses.
Oh my Gosh influencer detained for posing as a real
estate agent to film tours of multi million dollar houses.
(15:19):
Headline number three. Man arrested after breaking into a building
and having an eleven year old help him and the
man arrested after breaking into a building and having an
eleven year old help him. Three headlines right there, You
got to tell me which one you think is fake?
All right? You know the rules, Candice. You can go first,
(15:41):
or you could pass it to Pooh.
Speaker 3 (15:42):
Yeah, I think I'm gonna go first today. You want
to lock me in, well we'll see lock me for
that last story? You think that's fake using the eleven
year old to help him break in?
Speaker 1 (15:51):
Okay, you think that's a fake story?
Speaker 3 (15:52):
I hope.
Speaker 6 (15:53):
So.
Speaker 1 (15:53):
You don't think anybody would do that, No, after Pooh
just said he would, let's lock that in. Locked in,
Candice Lopez is locked in? Now, Pooh, which one do
you think is the fake story? I'm gonna go with
that first.
Speaker 4 (16:05):
Story little girl getting hemmed up for having a ghetto
petting zoo.
Speaker 1 (16:09):
Okay, let's lock that in it in first story you
think is fake? The correct answer and the winner today me.
I mean, this is two in a row.
Speaker 6 (16:24):
For me.
Speaker 1 (16:25):
It is. Let me enjoy my wine. You both missed
the fake story. The fake story was influencer detained by
police as real estate agent. Hey, you know to film
tours of multimillion dollar houses. I could see it happening too,
That's why I made it up. Yeah, I'm like, you
know that's gonna happen if it hasn't happened somewhere. But
it's not in the news either way. What is in
the news. This first story is little girl questioned by
(16:47):
police after setting up a petting zoo outside of her
house and charging people. It is hysterical and I have
to post this. Give me a minute and I'll post
it at Billy on the Radio on my Instagram at
Billy on the Radio. The picture of this girl who's
set up it looks like, you know, like a lemonade
stand right, and it's her and a table with a
(17:08):
little you know, like drawer for money and you know
what her petting do consist of what her golden retriever
in a cage like in a little like a playpen,
not a cage and a little playpen, and the golden
retriever is just sitting there like what am I doing?
And she's charging people. That's adorable, a pet little golden retriever.
(17:33):
Somebody called the police on. I don't know. Is it cute?
Speaker 3 (17:39):
Yeah? I think that's adorable.
Speaker 1 (17:40):
Okay, Well then you do it today with brewster.
Speaker 3 (17:44):
I'm a lot of money, I know. I mean, are
so soft? Yeah? Everyone always says that your dogs so soft?
Speaker 1 (17:51):
People say that, yes, all the time.
Speaker 3 (17:54):
Every puddy who pets.
Speaker 1 (17:57):
Cans just flex on her dog softer than yours. My
dug's softed than your dog.
Speaker 3 (18:03):
Compet him?
Speaker 1 (18:04):
Okay, well charge you know what I would pay that?
Speaker 5 (18:06):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (18:07):
The next headline, man arrested after breaking into a building
and having an eleven year old help him. Why this
is a real story and it's not Pooh, But a
forty one year old man in Pennsylvania was arrested after
breaking into an office building, and he brought his girlfriend's
eleven year old daughter with him so she could hold
the flashlight. Wow, what are we doing in our life.
(18:35):
Daddy got to see some friends, not even daddy, stepdaddy,
step daddy. You want to go get some ice cream,
But first we're gonna do a little b and e.
Yeah so he was arrested, but yeah, he brought his
his girlfriend's eleven year old daughter. And when the cops
showed up, this guy James was in an equipment room
where he instructed the little girl to just hold the
(18:58):
flashlight while I grab stuff off. Wow. Yeah, and he
was also not only stealing stuff, he was also stealing
copper wiring. Oh yeah, which is a whole thing. People
steal copper. Boy, I'm telling you, my uncle Fred is
a crackhead. I know he'd steal. You're saying this out loud?
Oh sorry, Uncle Fred is Yeah, uncle Fred? You met
(19:19):
Uncle Fred did? Yeah, uncle Fred. I thought he was
just exciting.
Speaker 4 (19:23):
No, it's an ongoing joke. Don't ever leave changing your
cup holder, uncle Fred to get it.
Speaker 1 (19:28):
Oh my god, I think we all have one relative. Yeah,
we do steals, maybe not a crackhead, yeah, but they
steal something. Yeah, but should we have Uncle Fred on
the show. Oh no, you don't want him up here?
Why not? He'll be trying to take Michael phones and everything.
She's so perfect all I love you. It's mixed. One
(19:49):
of two. Good Morning Billy Kid Canna Slump has producer proof.
First of all, Cannis and I are the massive fight
over Ella Langley. It's fine because Candace did maybe one
of the rudest things she's ever done is since I've
known her in the twenty something years, tell them what
you did well.
Speaker 3 (20:06):
I found out that on your for you page on
Instagram you could tell it like what things you're interested
in to show you more and what things to stop showing.
And I looked at my page and it was like,
you know, there's like boxes and squares. Over fifty percent
of those were Ella Langley. So I had to put
in like less Ella Langley Wow, because I'm not I'm
not searching this wow. I love her album, I love
her song.
Speaker 1 (20:27):
Why is your algorithm that though?
Speaker 3 (20:29):
Bye? Because yours is spilling over into mind.
Speaker 1 (20:34):
I think it's disrespectful to our relationship and I.
Speaker 3 (20:36):
Love to la for a long time her out when
I want her information.
Speaker 1 (20:39):
But I liked her BB what before bangs?
Speaker 3 (20:42):
Oh you did?
Speaker 1 (20:43):
Oh yeah? Are you sure anyway? I'm one hundred percent sure? Okay, Yeah,
what do you mean by that?
Speaker 3 (20:48):
I don't know. I just never heard you talk about
her before before, like this year.
Speaker 1 (20:52):
Yeah, I never said a word to us. That's just
because it was different back then, and you didn't know.
Speaker 3 (20:57):
She wasn't on your for you page, she wasn't.
Speaker 1 (20:59):
On your radar, so I didn't want to throw my
relationship in your faces. Oh okay, all right. Can we
talk about the weirdest things left in ubers last year?
Speaker 3 (21:06):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (21:06):
This is so funny. Uber driver's report obviously, the things
that they lost or that they find or whatever in
their cars. Because have you ever lost something in an Uber?
I've lost my phone in an Uber?
Speaker 3 (21:15):
Yeah, we left an iPad and a nuber once.
Speaker 1 (21:17):
Okay, that's reasonable though, you know yet you never know
how they just.
Speaker 3 (21:23):
No no trace of it. Nobody heard of it, nothing
heard nothing. Yeah, yeah, they just deleted it from there.
Speaker 1 (21:30):
Sure, Yeah, exactly, that's what happened. Well, No, Like, I
had lost my phone in one one time, and I
right away the guy was already turning around coming back
and giving it to me, and I was like, oh,
because I didn't have a way to get ahold of them.
Speaker 3 (21:43):
Yeah, true, So it was all messed up.
Speaker 1 (21:46):
Exactly so. But this list is so wild some of
the things that were found in these ubers. I'm just like,
how uh. First on the list was a child's prosthetic eye. Oh,
someone's glass eye. That's unfortunate it Yeah, but I could
see losing it. Okay, you know if I had a
glass i'd probably lose everything. You just pop them in
(22:08):
and out.
Speaker 3 (22:08):
Oh yeah, but at the end of the day, you
take it out like a contact.
Speaker 1 (22:12):
You can if you want. You never had a kid
in your class with a prosthetic eye. Oh, they pop
them out all the time. Yeah, I had a kid,
Damn Marucci. He'd pop his eye out at least twice
a class. Wow, and just show you what's going on.
We loved it. It was awesome. Child's prosthetic eye. I
don't know why. How do you know it's a child's
prosthetic eye. Maybe it was small, like your eyes small though?
Speaker 3 (22:35):
Yeah? How big do eyes get?
Speaker 1 (22:38):
Like? Do they?
Speaker 3 (22:39):
You know what I mean? Like when you grow? Like,
do you say your nose keeps growing or your ears?
What's the one thing?
Speaker 1 (22:43):
Maybe he's growing your eyes? Do not keep growing? Your
ears keep growing and your nose keeps right, Yeah, but
not your eyes.
Speaker 3 (22:53):
Well, that's what I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (22:54):
You imagine what we look like aliens.
Speaker 3 (22:56):
But some people have bigger eyes.
Speaker 1 (23:00):
I guess. Okay, thank you?
Speaker 6 (23:03):
All right.
Speaker 1 (23:03):
Other things that are weird that've been left in ubers?
Are you ready for this one? Twenty pounds of duck sausage.
Someone reported twenty pounds of duck sausage in an uber. Wow,
I have questions, but about this one? Handcuffs, Okay, I
can see that. Yeah, yeah, I guess I don't know
(23:24):
why you're Maybe he was an off duty police officer
under cover. Yeah, a two pound bag of blue raspberry gushers.
Who those are so good? That was true? That was
not too actually because he'd never leave gushers never, or
sour patch kids behind. How does this happen? Things weird?
Things left in an uber? A dishwasher?
Speaker 3 (23:46):
What?
Speaker 1 (23:47):
How? Maybe it was a small one? Is that even possible? Yeah?
Speaker 5 (23:52):
Weird?
Speaker 1 (23:53):
Now this one's interesting. Weird things left in an uber? Grass? Oh, patches?
What kind of grass? No?
Speaker 3 (24:02):
A patch of grass.
Speaker 1 (24:04):
Patch of grass? And then somebody on this thread that
I was reading said, no, this is kind of normal.
There's certain people who carry You're gonna laugh. Cannis, who
carry around a patch of grass because it's like an
emotional support thing for them.
Speaker 3 (24:19):
Eric, what.
Speaker 1 (24:23):
Have you ever seen somebody carrying around, like carrying around.
Speaker 3 (24:27):
A patch of grass in public?
Speaker 1 (24:30):
The people love touching grass. You ever meet people that
love touching grass besides your husband? They just carry a
little piece of like a patch of grass, I swear.
Multiple people in this thread said people do this. Yeah, well,
I know guys who have rocks in their pockets. They
love carrying rocks. Yeah, what are you for, Well, it's what.
(24:52):
Somebody left their live fish in the Uber driver reported
finding a live goldfish in the back of his car.
How does that happen? I don't know. Now I can
totally see this one happening. One single red bottom Louis
Baton shoe, lebiton biton shoe. Yeah, because you're drunks in
(25:12):
the Uber Highland Park girls do all the time. They
don't know what's going on. They just leave them in there.
I don't need I have fifteen more par at home now,
this is not good. Somebody left their oxygen tank. Oh no,
who's oxygen? Sometimes you forget things. I don't know. Tell me.
Somebody ubering the Windstar to play the penny slots, that's where.
(25:35):
Why do I always see oxygen tanks on the penny slots?
Why is that? I tell you it's something about like
penny slots in the oxygen tank that go together perfectly,
and Virginia slims. Sometimes you'll see all of it together,
all right? What about this one? Last one? Somebody found
an ankle monitor?
Speaker 3 (26:00):
Ain't that easy to take off?
Speaker 6 (26:02):
No?
Speaker 1 (26:03):
No, they're hard. How do you know, Prouve?
Speaker 2 (26:05):
I have friends, the tough stories on the tents with
Billy the Kid in the.
Speaker 6 (26:12):
Morning only on the new Mix one O two point.
Speaker 1 (26:15):
Nine, the Journey Little Secret coming off plus a trip
to Disney vacation. You're shot at that on the way,
Candice Lopez, what's going on? Well?
Speaker 3 (26:22):
Jury selection continues today in the Carmelo anthony trial. There
were about six hundred potential jurors. On Monday, about fifty
were excused, and then yesterday the judge and lawyers reviewed
the rest of the questionnaires, saying they hope to cut
that pull down to two hundred and fifty for another
round of questioning today. The judge did tell potential jurors
(26:44):
it was okay if they heard about this case, but
that they have to set that aside. He also told
them not to rely on stuff they may have heard
in the past in the media about what allegedly happened,
but they hope to have a jury picked today now.
These potential jurors were also told they aren't or if
that final group will be sequestered, but that trial is
expected to go from nine am to six pm every
(27:06):
weekday and on Saturdays for about two weeks, hoping to
wrap this trial up by June twelfth or later.
Speaker 1 (27:13):
June twelve.
Speaker 3 (27:13):
Yeah, that's pretty quick.
Speaker 1 (27:15):
Yeah, it's already the third We knew it was gonna
be very hard. Jerry Swisson was going to be difficult
because it's such a high profile case and right it
it'd be tough to be sequestered as a germ be
away from everybody and everything.
Speaker 3 (27:26):
Yeah, absolutely, but I feel like that's probably gonna have
to happen. You know this. The hype around this trial
is just escalating by the day. But I'll keep you
posted if I hear anything. Guys, warm and humid today
before more storm chances tonight, we're gonna get up close
to ninety but it's cooler this morning than it has
been so far. This week, at this time, at seventy.
Speaker 1 (27:46):
One right now, I got hailed on yesterday. I know,
I didn't know that was gonna happen. I thought the
storms might roll in, but it was gonna be that bad.
But yeah, I mean some people got sough, some people didn't.
But these storms pop upon a nowhere. It could happen
later either way, much cooler. It feels good.
Speaker 3 (27:59):
Yeah, and uh, let's get some more lighter news. Guys.
The pop Tarts and Crumble collab is making a comeback.
The frosted Strawberry cookie featuring pop Tarts is back. This
is just a limited time. I guess they're doing some
kind of like Breakfast week lineup. But this is like
the temptation we all did not need at this point.
Speaker 1 (28:17):
I mean, a collap of Crumble and pop Tarts. Yeah,
I mean, look, poo, just get poo diabetes.
Speaker 3 (28:23):
That is what was in the lobby when you saw
it Monday.
Speaker 1 (28:27):
Crumbled pop Tart clap.
Speaker 6 (28:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (28:28):
How do you know?
Speaker 3 (28:29):
Because this it just came out. Yeah, I know, little
Birdie told me really.
Speaker 4 (28:34):
Yeah, right when I start my fitt in his journey,
I know something like this it Crumble and pop Tart.
Speaker 1 (28:40):
Wow, your two favorite things in life. Yeah, that's fine.
Speaker 3 (28:43):
I can I don't even want to get good thought.
Speaker 1 (28:46):
Who is a Weirdoe is one of the few people
in life that eat pop tarts without icing?
Speaker 3 (28:51):
Yeah, no, I think that's good. I like them without icing.
Speaker 1 (28:54):
Yeah, it has a strange thing to do.
Speaker 3 (28:57):
No, I like it.
Speaker 1 (28:58):
If you're going for it just I mean, if you're
going to be a big back, be a big bag,
don't be half back.
Speaker 3 (29:04):
Yeah, I mean half back?
Speaker 1 (29:05):
Is the movie a medium Back?
Speaker 3 (29:07):
So trendy to be a half back?
Speaker 6 (29:08):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (29:10):
Back it up with that ice.
Speaker 3 (29:13):
Guys. Pink is hosting the Tony Awards this Sunday at
Radio City Music Hall. She says her daughter Willow approved
her decision to take on this hosting gig. She says
when she was asked to host, it wasn't an immediate yes,
it was an almost immediate yes that she actually wanted
to get permission from her daughter first, because this is
Willow's lane, She said, I try to stay out of
(29:34):
her lane.
Speaker 6 (29:34):
You know.
Speaker 3 (29:34):
Will o'heart is fifteen. She has dreams of being on Broadway,
so this is going to be really cute for them. Yeah.
Pink says she's been working on plenty of acrobatics for
the show. This opening number is going to have one
hundred and seventy people on stage. She says, it's a goofy,
kind of over the top number that will all make
sense on Sunday. So I watched the clips of the
(29:57):
Tony Awards. I don't see a lot of like musicals
no in my life, but I'll definitely tune into watch
Pink and this big opening number.
Speaker 1 (30:04):
Well, I think it's cool that she respects her daughter
and was like, hey, it's cool if I do that.
I mean, that's very sweet.
Speaker 3 (30:08):
Yeah, I mean they just moved to New York. I
think she bought a new place there. You know those
rumors about her hosting the Kelly Clarkson Show, and then
you know Willow's dreams of being on Broadway. So I
like this lane for both of them.
Speaker 1 (30:19):
Too good for them.
Speaker 3 (30:20):
Yeah, I'm Canda Slopez. Those are your Texas top stories.
Speaker 6 (30:23):
Get off your chest. I promise you'll feel better.
Speaker 1 (30:26):
Welcome to the Dirty Little Secret makes one of two
point nine billing a kid Canda slow Fez producer Pooh
Chance this Disney World Vacation on us and coming up next,
we do it on the forties pretty much every hour
all day. Hook that up. Thank you for listening. Can
I just say that real quick? Because I get so
many awesome dms and it fuels me. And this girl
wrote me. She goes, I don't know how you are
so high early in the morning. I'm like, yeah, I
(30:47):
don't know either, but I will say I do know how,
and it's because you listen. Yeah. So I get excited
because we get to come in and be idiots on
the radio and have a good time because of you.
So thank you for that. That's how I get up.
I'm not motivated by Pooh in his short shorts this morning.
I'm not motivated by Cannieloan pezant or beans that she
(31:08):
brings in every day to eat.
Speaker 3 (31:09):
I don't have beans today, Thank god, studio will smell good.
Speaker 1 (31:12):
Then, all right, dirty little secret eight three seven eight
seven one two nine, whatever your secret is, is just
time to confess and get it off your chest and
you tell us this is what we do. We're here
for you. What's going on? All right?
Speaker 5 (31:25):
Yeah, I got a confession to make, and if my
family hears this, I'm definitely denying everything. But two months
ago I broke my arm, right and everybody thinks I
did it like mountain biking, and you know, I told
him I was out riding this intense trail, I hit gravel,
flew over the handle handlebars, like whole dramatic story. Dang,
(31:49):
and my mom thinks I'm like extreme sports guy. Now
my girlfriend is like telling everybody, you know, I'm an
adventurous anyway, it's like, so.
Speaker 1 (31:57):
You did not You didn't break your arm out and biking.
Speaker 5 (32:00):
Oh god, no, No, So I broke it riding a
mechanical bull trying to impress a bachelorette party.
Speaker 1 (32:16):
Yeah, how is that? How does that happen? I mean,
mechanical bulls not that dangerous, no, but those.
Speaker 5 (32:26):
Me and my buddy, like, I'm gonna blame this on him,
but we went out.
Speaker 1 (32:30):
You know.
Speaker 5 (32:31):
Friday night is like a while back, and a group
of girls was having their bachelor party and they were
loud and hyping each other up, and one of them
joking that, like, no guy can actually stay on that
this mechanical bullets there like for longer than ten seconds.
So apparently my ego heard that and was like, oh yeah,
so like I hop on it, and I'm like, you know,
(32:51):
thinking I'm a cowboy from Yellowstone. I'm yelling, girl, I'm
talking trash. I'm doing a little one hand thing, you know, anyway.
Speaker 1 (33:03):
The one hand.
Speaker 5 (33:07):
Yeah, I actually had it going pretty good, like I'm
sure everybody's cheering me on. And then like the operator
cranked that thing to like some crazy mode like and
I swear this dude is like taking it personally, and
the bull just starts spinning like it's trying to launch me.
And I don't know, my hand got like stuck weird
(33:29):
on the rope when I got thrown off. Anyway, I
hit the ground and immediately just like heard like this
nasty pop in.
Speaker 1 (33:35):
My I hate that.
Speaker 5 (33:41):
It was bad. It was I knew it was bad,
you know. I said to myself, this is bad. But
all the girls are watching, so I just jump up.
I was like, I'm fine. I was like even did
the fake laugh like I meant to do that, playing
it off. Meanwhile, my arm is like starting to throb.
So like fast forward an hour, I'm in the er.
Speaker 1 (34:02):
Dang. Okay, So nobody knows the truth except well the
friend that's there obviously saw what happened.
Speaker 5 (34:08):
I guess right, my buddy's the only one to know
everyone thinks like I've heard cycling through like rugged terrain,
like some outdoorsement and actually it was tequila and this bowl.
Speaker 1 (34:20):
You don't want to say where this happened.
Speaker 5 (34:22):
Or no, no, And before you guys brush me char
just like I might actually sue this place because I'm
telling you that operator was seriously agro.
Speaker 1 (34:33):
Goes soon are you gonna assume them when that's the
whole point.
Speaker 3 (34:36):
Yeah, I've seen something though before, and I'm like, y'all
got to turn this thing down. This guy is not well, you.
Speaker 1 (34:41):
Realize what a mechanical bully is. Ok, it's the whole
point is it to throw you off mechanical I've.
Speaker 3 (34:47):
Seen people hang off the side of those things for
dear life, like give up at some point.
Speaker 1 (34:54):
Well that okay, that's fair, but you're trying to hang
on for too long. Things like this happened, I guess.
I mean it's kind of you know what. I don't
know if I've ever ridden a mechanical bull. Oh, one
time I did tipsy at Cowboys red River and I
stayed on for a good three seconds, right maybe then ye?
And then I was.
Speaker 3 (35:14):
All, I don't like to watch people on those You
just feel bad. Yeah, watching people struggle like that.
Speaker 1 (35:20):
Yeah, it's kind of weird unless you're public. Like, it's
kind of hot when a girl does.
Speaker 3 (35:23):
It, Okay, they don't ever turn it up full.
Speaker 1 (35:25):
But no, it's like, oh look at me, I'm in fun,
I'm sexy, I'm riding the bull. I got a cowboy
hat on. Yeah exactly. But when a guy does it,
it's like you're not going to win. You're not winning.
Those operators are dudes anyway, so they just try to Yeah,
they're going to launch us off. So I feel your pain, sir, Well,
you know what, your secret is safe with us. Hopefully
your arm gets better and let's not do that again.
(35:49):
Oh I will not be okay? Bang god? Yeah, how
long did you stay on? Anyway?
Speaker 5 (35:55):
I mean three point seven seconds?
Speaker 1 (36:01):
Three point seven seconds is a new egg? What?
Speaker 3 (36:05):
No, seriously, guys on mechanical bulls when they're hanging off
the side with one leg knocked around, one hand on
the saddle.
Speaker 1 (36:14):
No, I would agree with you, because you egg. It's
such a guy thing to be, like, Oh, I could
study all that bull unless you're what a professional rodeo guy.
The only way you look cool is if you ride it.
And then you hop off on your own accord, which
is not gonna happen. You're gonna fly. I've never seen
that ever happen. Right, Wow, that's a new inch.
Speaker 3 (36:35):
Oh yeah, your hack goes flying off, right.
Speaker 1 (36:37):
But yeah, what's one of those things. No matter what
a guy does is an ick. If you have one,
please let me know. Okay, ad mechanical bull. Add mechanical bull.
Speaker 3 (36:46):
Don't do it to the list because.
Speaker 1 (36:48):
Even if you win, you lose.
Speaker 3 (36:54):
All right, he's court.
Speaker 2 (36:58):
It gets settled. Here's Billy the Kid in the morning.
Speaker 1 (37:02):
Rise for the Honorable Judge Candice Lopez. This court is
very serious. Right now, we got to go some of
these IgGs real quick. It's Mikes one or two point nine.
Some funny ones are coming in. First of all, didn't
know that Canda slow Pez has a new egg until today. Guys,
I'm mechanical bulls.
Speaker 3 (37:17):
I've always thought that. I just hadn't really thought to
tell you.
Speaker 1 (37:21):
Yeah, you know, no, sometimes these IgGs pop up and
you just don't know they're coming, right, and it is
kind of an ick. I mean, I guess it's just
not your thing. I think it's the fact that you
know they're not gonna win.
Speaker 3 (37:31):
Exactly, and they think they will, yeah, and.
Speaker 1 (37:33):
That that in itself is an eck.
Speaker 3 (37:35):
Oh, and that you're not gonna win, and then it
won't be an egg.
Speaker 1 (37:37):
So if you're silly about it and you're like, watch
me get hurt, yes, then it's funny exactly. Okay, cool,
there you go, guys, you learned something new. Now we
got some other eggs people are sending in what is it, Candice.
Speaker 3 (37:46):
Before we start? This one? Is sad carnival games. Guys
playing carnival games, like you know those tests of strength,
yeah type thing.
Speaker 1 (37:55):
And I did that at the Renaissance Festival.
Speaker 3 (37:57):
Did take the hammer and try to ring the bell
at the top.
Speaker 1 (38:00):
Guys are so stupid, We're so dumb. They're so competitive.
We see that in like ooh me strong, Yeah, I
show a woman. Yes, we're like cave man. Okay, that's
a good one. What else. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (38:10):
Angie also said watching my man try to open a can.
Speaker 1 (38:19):
That's hilarious because why you expect us to be able
to do it right away.
Speaker 3 (38:22):
Right, And sometimes it's not just like right and.
Speaker 1 (38:25):
It's open, like if you hand it to me and
I can't get it open right.
Speaker 3 (38:28):
If the pickles are stuck for you too.
Speaker 1 (38:30):
It's obviously because my hands are slippery.
Speaker 3 (38:32):
Yeah, yeah, of course.
Speaker 1 (38:33):
Oh man, I gotta get a dollar, so this is
too slip, right, Okay, Candace Court starts. Now, if you've
got a problem, that's funny at Candace on Air. Candis
today's case. Are you're ready for it? Yep, Dear Candas Courts,
I just told my boyfriend I can't date him right now.
We've only been official for about a month and I'm
just now finding out about a tattoo he has. So
(38:55):
it's kind of close to some of his other tattoos,
so I never really noticed it before. But it is
the Roman numerals of his and his ex'es anniversary. Oh
what the heck? Question mark? Question mark? Question mark? Now
now it's all I see. To be honest, I couldn't
(39:15):
believe he never told me about this before, and this
has caused a big issue in our relationship, and so
I told him I'm sorry, but I just can't date
him until it gets removed. Oh all right, stands yeah,
Cannas Courts, there you go. So he has a Roman
numerals of his anniversary, the date of his anniversary with
(39:36):
Zex Big gig okay.
Speaker 3 (39:37):
Big gig and eggs, yeah, or hies to your ex
that are permanent.
Speaker 1 (39:42):
Yeah, but at the same time, it's not her name.
Speaker 3 (39:44):
Okay, all right, yeah, that's true.
Speaker 1 (39:47):
A Roman numeral. When's a good time to bring that up?
You're only dating a month? Oh, I just want to
let you know I have anniversary. You're not going to
bring that up.
Speaker 3 (39:54):
But like you, for example, you have a sleeve, you
have a lot of tats. Like when you're dating someone,
don't they ask, well, what are your tattoos? What's that?
Speaker 1 (40:02):
Why do you have that? Sometimes they do when did
you get that? But I got a lot of tattoos,
So they're not gonna go over every single one, and
a month in they might go, what about that one?
Be honest? Oh I wouldn't be. I'd lie about this,
but that's just me, the just my dead grandma's Oh
my god, I mean, I'm just not telling the truth
on that one. I'm for real.
Speaker 3 (40:21):
Okay, Okay, I probably would, but I would me for sure.
Speaker 1 (40:25):
But it's a deal breaker.
Speaker 3 (40:27):
Well, once I see it, though, I can't unsee it,
and now it's all.
Speaker 1 (40:30):
I'm looking at, So you expecting to get it removed?
Speaker 3 (40:33):
Well, I mean at some point you could definitely do
something over it.
Speaker 6 (40:38):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (40:38):
I dated a girl who had like a date right
above her right here on her chest date.
Speaker 1 (40:43):
Yeah, she had some chest tat.
Speaker 4 (40:45):
Yeah, you know i'd be dating the hood sometimes.
Speaker 1 (40:50):
But anyway, I was like, yo, yeah, what was the date?
Speaker 4 (40:52):
It was the date of like her her and her
X is like anniversary, same thing.
Speaker 3 (40:58):
What?
Speaker 6 (40:58):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (40:59):
I was like just the date.
Speaker 4 (41:00):
Yeah, yeah, and I had a heart and roses and
all this stuff. And I didn't stay with her long. Yeah,
just a plain date.
Speaker 1 (41:09):
Yeah, heart I've had. I've seen, you know, some women
who have like we know, somebody who has the name
of an ex who passed away.
Speaker 3 (41:19):
Get that removed to No, they've passed away.
Speaker 1 (41:23):
I'm just saying, so you know, now that's selfish. You
expect someone who's got a memorial to their Uh no,
I get that. But I know you really if you
saw that you were dated girl and who you're wrong.
If I saw somebody with a tattoo honoring their dead, okay,
maybe I would not ask scenario. Okay, maybe wouldn't even
(41:43):
care about the Roman numerals.
Speaker 3 (41:46):
Really I think you would.
Speaker 1 (41:49):
Yes, we know you, you're the.
Speaker 3 (41:52):
Same person who says, oh, she never had an X
before me. I want to feel like she's never you know,
talk to.
Speaker 1 (41:59):
Any else before that told me whatever. Billy would overanalyze that.
You know, he would. I would not just pretend it
was for a super Bowl. She was God, you would not.
I wouldn't. I wouldn't. It wouldn't bother me. It would
best with you you liing, No, you're overreacting. You just
(42:20):
you're you knowing that.
Speaker 3 (42:21):
The girl that you're with was that committed to someone
before you because she tattooed on our body.
Speaker 1 (42:26):
It wouldn't bother me. I'd like, fine, that's okay, girl, Yeah.
Speaker 3 (42:31):
I really like you in long sleeves.
Speaker 1 (42:33):
Yeah now okay, yeah girl, you real rock that turtleneck tonight.
It wouldn't. It would bother me. Me be a little bit, okay.
I would never say get it removed. We can't date.
Speaker 3 (42:45):
That's pretty extreme.
Speaker 1 (42:46):
That's he just wouldn't talk to her no more. I
don't know. I can't. I'd have to be in a situation. Yeah,
can do we have a verdict?
Speaker 3 (42:56):
Yeah, this guy is guilty of being in no regrets Ryan.
He's guilty for not telling her about the tattoo. You
know this came up. She's also guilty for pausing the
relationship because of this. That is so extreme.
Speaker 1 (43:11):
He's a controlling Cassie.
Speaker 3 (43:12):
Yeah, a little bit, and he's guilty.
Speaker 1 (43:14):
He's an anniversary Andy. He is guilty of binga and
no regards Ryan.
Speaker 2 (43:21):
Texas tough stories on the tents with Billy's Kid in the.
Speaker 6 (43:25):
Morning only on the new Mix one O two point.
Speaker 1 (43:28):
Nine O the shots go to Disney World coming up?
Will do that at eight point forty and one thousand
dollars chance at that. Next on Mixed Candislopez what you got?
Speaker 3 (43:36):
Well, The FAA, FBI, and other agencies are warning people
not to operate drones around Dallas Stadium, slash At and
T Stadium during the nine World Cup matches.
Speaker 6 (43:46):
Here.
Speaker 3 (43:47):
The alert reminds people that the FBI is legally authorized
to use tech to detect, assess, and if needed, mitigate
unauthorized drones and restricted airspacese.
Speaker 1 (43:57):
Drone guns. Have you seen those drone guns?
Speaker 6 (43:59):
No?
Speaker 1 (44:00):
They like mitigate.
Speaker 3 (44:01):
Is that how they mitigate?
Speaker 1 (44:02):
Yeah, they like shoot a gun up there, but it's
like a net whoa and they take it down.
Speaker 3 (44:07):
Weird.
Speaker 1 (44:08):
Yes, it's very strange, but it's kind of cool at
the same time, and they even sometimes use thermal energy
to like get next to it, okay and zap that
drone out of the air with the Yes.
Speaker 3 (44:17):
That's fun, just like that. Yeah. By the way, have
you seen the glow up happening in Fort Worth right
now because of the World Cup? So they have all
these art installations, three D murals going up international flags.
They're getting ready for crowds to just you know, hang out.
Speaker 1 (44:31):
Well, did you see the crowds coming in?
Speaker 3 (44:33):
Yes, the line from the airport.
Speaker 1 (44:36):
Yes, is huge coming in. So I mean we said,
was it really gonna be a big deal? It's gonna
be a big deal.
Speaker 3 (44:41):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (44:42):
Fort Worth is beautiful. Yeah, I mean Fort Worth is
the most underrated city in the United States of America
for sure.
Speaker 3 (44:48):
They're getting ready. They say they're also going to send
out one hundred dedicated police personnel across eight teams, and
they're also going to limit in person court proceedings during
the World Cup so that those bailiffs and deputies can
be you sign. Oh yeah, so just be prepared. It's coming, guys.
You know what else is coming? White Castle. They officially
broke ground on their new location in the Colony yesterday.
(45:11):
This is going to be their first location in Texas,
right there in Grandscape. I know you're stoked about it.
Speaker 1 (45:16):
I mean, yeah, of course I've lived here forever, but
I grew up with White Castle in Detroit, and it's
just it's a very special place to me. Yes, it's
near and dear to my heart. I will take a
crave case and I will order. I don't know if
I've had it sober in a long time. It's one
of those foods that it's very good when you're maybe
have a couple adult beverages. Sure, it soaks up the
(45:36):
liquor very well, very well.
Speaker 3 (45:39):
Yeah, they were out there yesterday, you know, for the
groundbreaking ceremony. They were using these spatulas shape shovels and
then they did a ceremonial sprinkling of the onions on
the future grill site.
Speaker 1 (45:49):
Oh good.
Speaker 3 (45:49):
Yeah, people are excited about this. It's expected to open
late fall of this year. Yes, I have. I don't
know where, Vegas.
Speaker 1 (45:58):
Yes there is. Okay, it's not the same though, I
know people eat them frozen. No, it's just not. No,
you gotta have you got to have those greasy little sliders. Yeah,
in real life.
Speaker 3 (46:07):
Okay, well, we can do it later this year, guys,
a new survey found that fifty four percent of pet
owners wish they could talk to their pets to find
out what they think and feel. They listed like the
top ten questions people have for their pets, So I'll
give you the top five. Number five was what's actually
happening in that head?
Speaker 1 (46:27):
Okay? Yeah, I kind of feel like I know my
dog pretty well.
Speaker 3 (46:30):
Yeah, and I.
Speaker 1 (46:31):
Feel like I know what he's thinking okay of the time. Yeah,
I would, I might ask him that. Though.
Speaker 3 (46:37):
They also wanted to know what's your favorite thing we
do together?
Speaker 1 (46:40):
I would want to know that. Yeah, I kind of
know swimming?
Speaker 3 (46:43):
Must that many options? Is there?
Speaker 1 (46:45):
Yeah? We do a lot of stuff together. We go
to shields.
Speaker 3 (46:47):
Oh okay, we.
Speaker 1 (46:49):
Swim, we play catch, we go on walks, we go
on golf car rides. What do you do with your dog?
Speaker 3 (46:53):
Okay? I mean we take walks, we sit and shake,
we play with his little toy. Okay, I get my
ice cream last week for his birthday.
Speaker 1 (47:05):
Oh good?
Speaker 3 (47:06):
Yeah, okay, he should go.
Speaker 1 (47:08):
For ice cream once a week.
Speaker 3 (47:10):
The other top questions were do you understand every word
I say?
Speaker 1 (47:14):
I feel like my dog does Yeah.
Speaker 3 (47:16):
Do you like your life? And are you happy?
Speaker 1 (47:18):
I would ask him that, yeah, Like what do I
need to do for you?
Speaker 3 (47:21):
Yeah? What can I do better?
Speaker 1 (47:23):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (47:23):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (47:24):
I thought some of the interesting questions that didn't make
the top five, or which family members do you like
and dislike?
Speaker 1 (47:30):
Okay? I mean I feel like every dog on her nose?
Who's the favorite in the family though?
Speaker 2 (47:34):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (47:35):
You know, I like those court cases where a couple
splits up and to decide, they put the dog down
and see what runs to I love those it It
always goes to the guy.
Speaker 3 (47:47):
Yeah, Brewster would go to Eric for sure. I'm not
afraid to admit it. Why is that they just have
a different bond? Yeah, yeah they do. It's okay, Brewster,
I love you? Yeah course, yeah, all right. I'm Kandaslopez.
Those are your Texas stop stories. Oh that's a hot tage.
Speaker 6 (48:07):
Let us know what you think.
Speaker 3 (48:08):
Here's today's hot takee how to take the Day?
Speaker 1 (48:10):
I'm mixed one or two point nine bill at a
kid candas Slow Paz producer poo. First of all, chance
to go to Disney World coming up next? We got that.
We do it on the forties, pretty much every hour,
all day. Now, the hot take today is very important
to me, very important to everyone because it affects to
me everybody's lives. Yeah, the MAVs moving up north to
the old Valley View Mall, it's weird right off six
(48:33):
thirty five. That was announced yesterday. Then in less than
twenty four hours, the Stars announced that they're trying to
get to Plano to go to the old Willow Bend.
Speaker 6 (48:44):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (48:45):
Both major franchises coming up north leave an American Airlines
center to turn into a spirit Halloween store.
Speaker 3 (48:52):
Saw that meme yesterday?
Speaker 1 (48:53):
Isn't that funny? What do we think? How do you feel?
Candice slow Pez? Your take?
Speaker 6 (49:00):
Well?
Speaker 3 (49:00):
Easy does it? I live south of six thirty five,
so I don't like it.
Speaker 1 (49:04):
You don't like it because you live south, right, I
don't like it.
Speaker 3 (49:07):
I love downtown. I've said this before. I love downtown
Dallas being the hub of sports. I love people traveling
into our city downtown to experience that and see all
of these teams play.
Speaker 1 (49:19):
Okay, see to me, I love love that the MAVs
are going to where they're going. I love the idea
of the Valley View MAVs. Okay, maybe it's because I'm
selfish and I live closer. I'm in Carrollton, so I
will go to more games.
Speaker 3 (49:32):
And you're okay with the traffic and all of the
things that come along.
Speaker 1 (49:34):
There's going to be traffic no matter what. I mean,
look at all this stuff moving here. Samsung just moved
their headquarters. They're moving. It's a plan at and T
you have everything. The traffic is gonna suck either way. Yeah,
so is that gonna be a problem. Yes, but there's
a that's a problem downtown to me. Yeah, so it
doesn't matter so American Airlines. When I go downtown, it's
just the biggest problem to me.
Speaker 3 (49:53):
Yeah, I just feel like we expect it downtown.
Speaker 1 (49:55):
I expect it everywhere.
Speaker 3 (49:56):
Are people in neighborhoods like right around here feel well?
Speaker 1 (50:00):
That's that's the big question is how is it going
to affect everybody else? The MAVs. I love that. I
love that it's still in Dallas. Technically, yes, it's very close,
but it's now the stars. I live super close to
Willow Bend walking distance, I'm not sure, I mean not walking,
(50:20):
but not sure. If I love that selfishly, I kind
of like it. But then on the same side. I'm like,
the only way to get there is the toll way.
Speaker 3 (50:29):
Right, The toy is not that big.
Speaker 1 (50:31):
It's when you think about it, it's really not. It's
not that big. That intersection is always a mess as
it is, so people coming from other places.
Speaker 3 (50:41):
Yeah, weren't we just complaining not we, but people about
the HGB that was proposed right there near Valley View Mall.
Speaker 1 (50:47):
Yeah, but you know Plano is going to approve it
because I mean we're talking so much money is going
to come into the city. Yeah that you know, they're
talking about a billion dollars stadium. They're going to build
it the old Willowband. But see why I love it though,
is because yes, it creates a ton of jobs. It
creates money. And you know, as Stars must have done
research on this and said, well, a lot of the
(51:09):
people want it up here. It's not that they would
just move everything just because Yeah, it's a major organization.
So to me it makes sense. Also, when they build
these new stadiums, they're building them differently. They're building these
arenas differently with entertainment built in, right, that's what it
needs to sustain.
Speaker 3 (51:25):
Yeah, no, I agree with you. I mean the upside
for me is that I feel like, because of the
relationship between the Stars and the MAVs and how that's
been over the last couple of years, I feel like
this is going to become a competition between the two teams.
Who's going to build the best entertainment district and venue
and that's where you win as fans.
Speaker 1 (51:42):
That's true, But like what, Yeah, you're right, there's gonna
be and you're to have two arenas this close to
each other. Oh far, that's going to beat you? Like it? Yes,
I love it. You don't live anywhere near that. I mean,
will have been was struggling, Oh.
Speaker 3 (51:57):
Man, I mean something needed to happen.
Speaker 1 (52:00):
But they we're going to do some either way. They're
going to do like a shop's legacy there and now
they're going to do this. I'm sure if it gets approved,
which I'm sure it will, and I like it, I
don't know. I just for the most part, I would
say I love the MAVs being there at Old Valley View, Okay,
And I'm about seventy percent sold because I know that
if I have to leave and go somewhere though quickly
(52:22):
from my house, and I have to get to the
toll Way and there's a Stars game.
Speaker 3 (52:25):
Yeah, nightmare, nightmare, absolute nightmare. And then like on the broadcast,
like I love when they'll show downtown Dallas and the
flags and the bridge and the ball and all these things.
Like when it's on.
Speaker 1 (52:34):
TV, literally Plano is getting a reunion.
Speaker 3 (52:37):
Ball, We're going to show that at and T ball.
Speaker 1 (52:39):
Yes, we're getting AT and T ball. We don't.
Speaker 3 (52:41):
It's not the same to me.
Speaker 1 (52:43):
But look what do they do when Arlington, when the
Cowboys play, they still show downtown Dallas. Yeah, yeah they
do because guess what, that's what everybody knows. If you're
watching all across the country, nobody's saying we did to Plano.
There's a million sports teams that aren't in the city.
They're called Yeah, you know it's it's because I mean,
the Cowboys are not in Dallas.
Speaker 3 (53:02):
Yeah, I've We've been lucky to have the Stars and
the MAVs in downtown Dallas at the same place. I think, so, Yeah,
I love that energy down there.
Speaker 1 (53:09):
How many Stars games have you went to.
Speaker 3 (53:11):
Cannas since I moved back to Texas. Zero? See MAVs.
On the other hand, I've been to a.
Speaker 1 (53:16):
Ton and then Cannis said, well, what about Fort Worth?
Speaker 3 (53:19):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (53:19):
Fort Worth is not that far. Okay. What's the difference
to get from Fort Worth to downtown Dallas thirty five minutes? Yeah,
basically okay, So for Worth to Plano forty five minutes.
Speaker 3 (53:32):
No, with this traffic, it's gonna be at least an hour.
Speaker 1 (53:34):
Oh no, you take George Bush and all that. See,
it's almost the same. That's my point. It's almost the same.
So I'm gonna go ahead and say, you know what,
I know people are gonna get mad at me. Some
people I like the.
Speaker 3 (53:47):
Move, Yeah, I mean it's it's fine. You can like
it or dislike it. We can't change it as an individual.
But I feel like we're all just looking for a
nostalgia and this new, fresh, modern start and splitting them
up is just the opposite. That's for me.
Speaker 1 (53:59):
I was born and.
Speaker 3 (53:59):
Raised and I just love sports downtown.
Speaker 1 (54:02):
But we gotta have change. If that was the case,
the Magic still be playing at Reunion Arena.
Speaker 3 (54:06):
I I wish, you know, the residents of Dallas were
had been a priority, you know, But with the way
downtown is, bill just it's not the case, right.
Speaker 1 (54:15):
And that's why I mean Victory Plaza I love it.
I love it too, and I love downtown Dallas. Yeah,
but the restaurants struggle down there, Yeah, because the rent's
so hot. So maybe this is the reset that everybody
needs to go. Well, all right, let's figure it out.
We got to figure out what we're going to do here.
Speaker 3 (54:29):
Yeah, the Poor Dirk statue, we move it. Yeah, we're
moving it.
Speaker 1 (54:34):
Yeah, Okay, don't you move for I don't know. I
think that's a good question.
Speaker 4 (54:38):
Put in front of the new ATB Yeah.
Speaker 1 (54:41):
Bring it here. Yeah, put it next to the poop
statue fit perfectly. Nick's one O two point nine, Good morning,
Billy Kid, Candicelowpez producer poo is here. When's the last
time you have had to call nine to one one?
We were just talking about this, what was I've had
to call that one so many times in my life.
Speaker 3 (55:01):
I think I've only done it once, and it was
that story I told yesterday when my husband saved that
man with his kayak.
Speaker 1 (55:06):
Well that's a good reason. He saved a man's life.
I've had to call for the stupidest reasons ever, and thankfully, honestly,
like but one time I had to call because well,
there was a guy on George Bush with a ladder
trying to cross the road, about to get hit by
a car. I'm like, this is not safe. Called nine
one for that.
Speaker 5 (55:25):
Then.
Speaker 1 (55:26):
Oh, the last time I had to call nine one
one was because of Pooh yeah.
Speaker 3 (55:29):
Oh yeah, when he ate the one Ship Challenge.
Speaker 1 (55:31):
Shit, when he did the one Chip Challenge and started
having almost a heart attack on the floor here it
was on fire. I've never seen anybody so disheveled in
my life, mane. Yeah, it threw the one Chip Challenge
or whatever hottest ship in the world, we had him
take it. He fell on the ground immediately started panicking.
(55:52):
I couldn't said, he couldn't breathe. Yeah, I mean, it
was one of the worst times and scariest things we've
ever had happen. For sure, people thought it was a bit.
They're like, oh, you don't really have to call nine one. No,
we had to call nine one one, and thank god
he wasn't really dying.
Speaker 3 (56:07):
Yeah, because real we called nine.
Speaker 1 (56:09):
One one, they remember, they put us on hold. Put
us on hold. Then she because we're in a weird
place where we're right on the border of like three
different cities were close to Addison were technically in Farmer's branch,
but were also by Dallas. We're like in a corner,
so nine to one didn't know who to call. So
finally Addison showed up because they probably saw it on
(56:29):
their screen and was like, we got to see what's
going on over here. Five thousand Addison firefighters in ems
came and literally just laughed at Pool on the grind.
Speaker 4 (56:39):
Exactly, and nobody really even cared because all the ladies
that worked here just wanted to see the firemen.
Speaker 1 (56:45):
Yeah, other one that's over here on the ground struggling.
Speaker 3 (56:47):
I thought you were being dramatic.
Speaker 1 (56:49):
Oh yeah, I know.
Speaker 4 (56:50):
Cannas wouldn't cook their breakfast and politely stepped over me.
Speaker 1 (56:55):
I'll never forget Pooh laying in the ground, struggling, eyes watering,
sweating and canvas stepping over his half dead corpse to
heat up her beans.
Speaker 3 (57:08):
Dramatic sometimes and I just thought he was playing around.
Speaker 1 (57:12):
Oh no, he was almost dead, and Cannas like, scuge me,
let me just scooch on bo.
Speaker 6 (57:18):
Well.
Speaker 3 (57:18):
I knew it was real when I came back. And
that's when you were on hold with nine one one.
Speaker 1 (57:21):
You want to hear some of the dumbest reasons. People
have called nine one one, Yeah, nine one one dispatchers
because they got a tough job. I'm not trying to
discredit them. They got a tough job. They have to
stay on the phone. Some of them are irritated sometimes
because they have to ask, you know, a lot of questions.
They got to get answers out of people who are struggling.
They got to be stern with you. But yeah and calm,
yeah and calm. Dispatchers are going over the dumbest reasons
(57:42):
people have called nine one one. You ready for this? One?
A woman called because she wanted an officer to come
to her home to kill a spider in the shower.
Speaker 3 (57:53):
Some of those spiders are big, though.
Speaker 1 (57:55):
I was gonna say, unless that's a daddy long leg.
I don't like those, Daddy Longley.
Speaker 3 (58:01):
I don't like those either.
Speaker 1 (58:02):
I've had my neighbor come over and kill one of those. No,
I'm just kidding. People are gonna be like, big ig,
what about this? Oh? A Plano woman called to report
many strange large balloon shaped objects in the sky. Oh
what during the Plano balloon festival?
Speaker 3 (58:24):
She just moved here or what? I do not know
that thing's going on.
Speaker 1 (58:27):
I not know. It's a hot air balloon.
Speaker 3 (58:29):
Right, they're beautiful.
Speaker 1 (58:30):
Yeah, there's a bunch of balloons up in scott coming again.
It's terrible. Oh. This woman called because birds were chirping
too loud and aggressively staring at her through her window.
Speaker 3 (58:45):
Oh you can I know your relationship with birds.
Speaker 1 (58:51):
I am somewhat scared of birds. But there's only two birds,
and I'm scared of Walmart birds and geese because they're
both pretty much satanic. That's I had. A friend had
to call nine to one because she got bit by
a goose.
Speaker 3 (59:04):
Oh that's right.
Speaker 1 (59:05):
Shout out to our friend Caitlyn. She got bit in
the face by a goose.
Speaker 3 (59:08):
I saw the picture. It looked awful.
Speaker 1 (59:11):
I didn't even know they could do that much damage. Yeah,
she almost lost a nostril goose. Yeah she tried. Well
that's what you get for trying to pet a goose.
She was tipsy. Yeah, and she's like and they had
a baby goose behind it.
Speaker 3 (59:26):
Don't mess with mama.
Speaker 1 (59:27):
No, Mama struck out, just like struck at her face.
I got cobra. I would do our geese venomous. Okay,
this guy man called. Oh. Man, man called nine one
one after drug dealers stole his money. Oh my, what
(59:48):
are you doing right? You wouldn't believe this. I'm trying
to buy drugs over here and this guy just stole
my money. Okay this Oh this woman called for an
ingrown TOENAILO. Wow, yeah, I mean they can be dangerous.
Speaker 3 (01:00:06):
They're painful for sure.
Speaker 1 (01:00:08):
I've never really had one on, never had one with this,
So you got one right now? No, no, poo's call
nine one over an ingrown hair. Oh this one might
be my favorite one though. This one. Uh. Ninety six
year old woman called nine one one to report a
missing child, her sixty eight year old child who wasn't
(01:00:29):
home before dark. Oh ay, that's Unenzo looking at the future.
Speaker 6 (01:00:39):
Right.
Speaker 2 (01:00:39):
There is Texas Top Stories on the Tents with Billy
the Kid in the.
Speaker 6 (01:00:43):
Morning only on the New Mix one two point nine.
Speaker 1 (01:00:47):
Another Chance go to Disney World coming up. We do

it at nine forty Little Disney World vacation on us,
So listen to win, Candice, what's up?
Speaker 6 (01:00:55):
Well?
Speaker 3 (01:00:55):
Jury selection is underway again this morning, and the Frisco
track me murdered there were about six hundred potential jurors.
On Monday, about fifty were excused, and then yesterday they
reviewed the rest of the questionnaires, hoping to cut that
pull down to two hundred and fifty for this next
round of questioning. Today, the judge told potential jurors that
(01:01:16):
it was okay if they had heard about the case,
but that they would have to set that aside. He
told them not to rely on stuff they may have
heard in the past from media about what allegedly happened.
They also say they hope to have a jury picked
by today, I do know. They also told potential jurors
they weren't sure if this final group was going to
end up being sequestered. But I can't imagine they wouldn't.
(01:01:38):
I mean, right, yeah, this case is everywhere.
Speaker 1 (01:01:40):
It can't be influenced, you know. I mean, it would
be so hard to be a questioned be away from
your friend's family. No tea, you know, no anything, no internet.
Speaker 5 (01:01:49):
You can't.
Speaker 3 (01:01:49):
Wow, Yeah, I can't even imagine. The trial, though, is
expected to go from nine am to six pm every
weekday and on Saturdays for about two weeks. They're saying
it could be over by June twelfth, So I'll keep
you posted. Weather changes today, warm and humid before more
storm chances tonight. We're gonna get up close to ninety degrees,
but much cooler this morning than it has been. Yeah,
(01:02:11):
so that's what news.
Speaker 1 (01:02:12):
Yeah seventy three when I left the house, it's been
better than getting hailed on like I did yesterday.
Speaker 3 (01:02:16):
I know, I can't believe went out in your golf.
Speaker 1 (01:02:18):
Cart in a stommy. I didn't want to take my
car out to go play basketball and go to the gym.
So I'm like, oh, let me take the golf cart
just because I'd rather get that hailed on then instead,
I just got hailed on.
Speaker 3 (01:02:28):
Yeah, get held damage on your legs, your arms.
Speaker 1 (01:02:32):
Yeah, I got enough damage on the spoty Hey guys.
Speaker 3 (01:02:35):
Part to no for Saurante was just named one of
the best pizzerias in the country for the sixth year
in a row. It's the only North Texas restaurant on
this list, ranked eighteenth in the country, so they have
locations in downtown Dallas and Richardson. They're consistently ranked in
the top twenty according to fifty Top Pizza, which is
it's part and Nope oh, have you ever been there?
Speaker 6 (01:02:56):
No?
Speaker 3 (01:02:57):
It is so good really, yeah, and the vibes are
in there. I've been to the downtown Dallas location, but
not the Richardson one. But yeah. This group is based
at Italy. They send out anonymous regional inspectors to kind
of survey different pizza restaurants.
Speaker 1 (01:03:12):
You get that job?
Speaker 3 (01:03:13):
Yeah, I don't know. That's a great gig.
Speaker 1 (01:03:16):
I mean, imagine if you're just your jobs be a
secret piza taste.
Speaker 3 (01:03:19):
Yeah, well look it up, fifty top Pizza. They're the
one that does this ranking. But congrats, guys. Pink is
hosting the Tony Awards this Sunday at Radio City Music Hall.
She says her daughter, Willow, approved her decision to take
on this hosting gig. She said when she was asked,
it wasn't an immediate yes, but she wanted to actually
(01:03:40):
get permission from our daughter first because this is Willow's lane.
She said, she really tries to stay out of her
daughter's lane. You know, her daughter's fifteen will o'heart. She
dreams of being on Broadway and I just love if
you know, as a parent, what do you have to
ask your kid for permission for?
Speaker 1 (01:03:55):
Yeah, that's sweet. Yeah. I think it is kind of
cool that, you know, because Pink's always in the spotlight.
She's like, I don't want to do this and take
my daughter's thunder away. This is her thing, so cool
way of including her. I can't believe her daughter's already fifteen.
Speaker 3 (01:04:06):
I know, I know she's a star.
Speaker 2 (01:04:08):
Though.
Speaker 3 (01:04:08):
I think she's gonna end up on Broadway at some point.
Really yeah, but Pink says, you know, she's working on
plenty of acrobatics for this show. The opening number is
going to have one hundred and seventy people on stage.
She says, you know, it's this goofy, over the top
number that will all make sense on Sunday when the
Tony Awards happen. I'm Kanda Slowpez. Those are your Texas
top stories on Mix one oh two point nine.
Speaker 1 (01:04:29):
I can't imagine watching the Tony Awards right. If people
watch it.
Speaker 3 (01:04:32):
Well, it's gonna be beautiful, that opening part.
Speaker 5 (01:04:35):
For sure.
Speaker 1 (01:04:36):
I would rather watch Pooh Naked Plain pickleball Oh than
the Tony Awards this year. I would rather watch Pooh
Naked doing anything wo than the Tony Awards.
Speaker 3 (01:04:49):
Hey, come on?
Speaker 1 (01:04:50):
Cool? Okay, maybe not, but still.
Speaker 3 (01:04:54):
This is Dirty Little Secret.
Speaker 1 (01:04:59):
Mix one two point nine a chance for the Disney World.
Coming up next, it's Baby the Kid Candi Slow Pens
producer Pooh your secrets anytime you want share them? Okay?
Eight three three seven eight seven one o two nine.
It doesn't matter what kind of secret it is. I
always telling people it will be the judge if it's
crazy or not. Yeah, I mean there's sometimes I don't
put secrets on. A lot of people ask me that too.
They're like, do you put every dirty Little secret on?
Speaker 6 (01:05:21):
No?
Speaker 1 (01:05:21):
Right, because some are illegal. Yeah, and I don't want
to be sued. Some are actually too intense for me.
Oh yeah, where I'm like, I don't want to put
this on. It just gives me an ekey feeling. I
don't like cheating secrets that much. It's just we don't
get a lot of them tho, because I think people
know I'm not gonna put them on. It just feels
gross to me.
Speaker 3 (01:05:38):
Yeah, there's enough of that going around online.
Speaker 1 (01:05:40):
Yeah, but if you got to, I'll put on a
lot of stuff that is questionable.
Speaker 6 (01:05:43):
Though.
Speaker 1 (01:05:43):
Don't get me wrong, I'm not acting too good for
a weird secret. So bring them anytime you want. An
eight three to three, seven, eight to seven, one O
two nine, you have one? What's up?
Speaker 3 (01:05:53):
All right?
Speaker 5 (01:05:54):
Yeah, I got a confession to make, and if my
family hears this, I'm definitely denied everything. But two months ago,
I broke my arm right and everybody thinks I did
it like mountain biking, and you know, I told him
I was out riding this intense trail, I hit gravel,
flew over the handle handlebars, like whole dramatic story. Dang,
(01:06:17):
and my mom thinks I'm like extreme sports guy. Now
my girlfriend is like telling everybody you know, I'm an adventurous anyway,
It's like, so.
Speaker 1 (01:06:26):
You did not You didn't break your arm mountain biking?
Speaker 5 (01:06:29):
Oh god, No, So I broke it riding a mechanical
bull trying to impress a bachelorette party.
Speaker 1 (01:06:46):
How does that does that happen? I mean mechanical, not
that dangerous.
Speaker 3 (01:06:52):
No, but those.
Speaker 5 (01:06:54):
Me and my buddy, like, I'm gonna blame this on him.
But we went out, you know, Friday night. This is
like a while back, and a group of girls was
having their bachelor party and they were loud and hyping
each other up, and one of them is joking that like,
no guy can actually stay on that. This mechanical bullos
there like for longer than ten seconds. So apparently my
ego heard that and was like, oh yeah, So like
(01:07:16):
I hop on it, and I'm like, you know, thinking
I'm a cowboy from Yellowstone, I'm yelling a girl, I'm
talking trash. I'm doing a little one hand thing, you
know anyway.
Speaker 3 (01:07:29):
Oh god, not the one hand, the.
Speaker 5 (01:07:34):
One hand.
Speaker 1 (01:07:35):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:07:36):
I actually had it going pretty good, like I'm sure right,
everybody's cheering me on, and then like the operator cranked
that thing to like some crazy mode like and I
swear this dude is like taking it personally, and the
bull just starts spinning like it's trying to launch me,
and I don't know, my hand got like duck weird
(01:07:58):
on the rope when I got thrown off and I
hit the ground and immediately just like heard like this
nasty pop in my.
Speaker 1 (01:08:04):
Oh I hate that. Okay, it was bad.
Speaker 5 (01:08:11):
I knew it was bad, you know. I said to myself,
this is bad, but all the girls are watching, so
I just jump up. I was like I'm fine. I
was like even did the fake laugh like haha, meant
to do that, playing it off Meanwhile, my arm is
like starting to throb, so like fast forward an hour,
I'm in the er. It's a fractured arm.
Speaker 6 (01:08:31):
Dang.
Speaker 1 (01:08:32):
Okay, So nobody knows the truth except well the friend
that's there obviously saw what happened.
Speaker 5 (01:08:36):
I guess right, my buddy's the only one knows. Everyone
thinks like I heard cycling through like rugged terrain, like
some outdoorsement, and actually it was tequila and this bowl.
Speaker 1 (01:08:48):
You don't want to say where this happened or.
Speaker 5 (01:08:50):
No, no, And before you guys brush me to our
just like I might actually sue this place because I'm
telling you that operator was seriously agro.
Speaker 1 (01:09:02):
So how are you going to assume when that's the
whole point.
Speaker 3 (01:09:04):
I've seen something though before, and I'm like, y'all got
to turn this thing down.
Speaker 1 (01:09:08):
This guy is not well, you realize what a mechanical
bully is. Ok it's the whole point is it? To
throw you off.
Speaker 3 (01:09:14):
Mechanical I I've seen people hang off the side of
those things for dear life, like give up at some point.
Speaker 1 (01:09:22):
Well that okay, that's fair, but you you're trying to
hang on for too long things like this happened. I
guess I mean it's kind of you know what. I
don't know if I've ever written a mechanical bull. Oh,
one time I did Tipsy at Cowboys Red River, and
I stayed on for a good three seconds, right, maybe then, and.
Speaker 3 (01:09:41):
Then I was all, I don't like to watch people
on those. You just feel bad. Yeah, watching people struggle
like that.
Speaker 1 (01:09:48):
Yeah, it's kind of weird unless you're in public. Like,
it's kind of hot when a girl does.
Speaker 3 (01:09:52):
It, Okay, they don't ever turn it up full, but.
Speaker 1 (01:09:54):
No, it's like, oh, look at me, I'm having fun,
I'm sexy, I'm ridding the bull. I got a cowboy
hat on. Yeah, exactly. But when the guy does it,
it's like.
Speaker 3 (01:10:01):
You're not going to win.
Speaker 1 (01:10:02):
You're not winning. Those operators are dudes anyway, so they
just try to Yeah they're going to launch us off.
Yeah sure, so I feel your pain, sir, Well you
know what, your secret is safe with us. Hopefully your
arm gets better and let's not do that again.
Speaker 5 (01:10:17):
Oh I will not be okay, thank god.
Speaker 1 (01:10:20):
Yeah, how long did you stay on anyway?
Speaker 5 (01:10:23):
I mean three point seven seconds?
Speaker 1 (01:10:28):
There go okay, and Pooh realized in Cannas, I mean
actually realized that that's a new ick for you.
Speaker 3 (01:10:34):
Oh yeah, big ick. You're losing a fight?
Speaker 1 (01:10:37):
Is you know?
Speaker 3 (01:10:39):
Why shn't you lose a fight? Is a big isch.
Speaker 1 (01:10:41):
So a man on a mechanical bowl we got to
put on our X list. Yeah, somebody else, did you
know what a new itch is for her? She said,
I took my boyfriend bowling and it was the biggest ick.
Speaker 6 (01:10:50):
Oh.
Speaker 3 (01:10:52):
I mean it's hard to look cool bowling.
Speaker 1 (01:10:53):
She said. A man bowling is an instant ick for me.
Speaker 3 (01:10:56):
Yeah, I gotta agree. Really Yeah, it's just the motion
and it's just something about I mean what the form
of bowling is not attractive? Okay, And I'm speaking from
someone who was like going to be a professional bowler,
I thought when I was a kid.
Speaker 1 (01:11:11):
So it's not the shoes, well it can be yeah,
all the motion.
Speaker 3 (01:11:15):
It's the motion. Yeah, it's the steps, It's the release
of the whole thing.
Speaker 1 (01:11:18):
Is just is it the way they stand with their
booty out before mixed one O two point nine. We're
about to get out of here. Billy the Kid, Candice
Loanpez producer poo, have a great day, whatever you do,
thank you for listening. I'm thinking about doing something a
little bit crazy today. Okay, there's a new trend that
I am obsessed with online. I don't know why. It's
(01:11:39):
not just online, but I don't know if you've seen this,
but have you seen this trend of people selling food
out of their house on Facebook Marketplace?
Speaker 3 (01:11:47):
Out of their house? Yes, I've seen people with like
flower stand or like a bread stand or something.
Speaker 1 (01:11:51):
Cinnamon rolls.
Speaker 3 (01:11:52):
That's a girl with cinnamon Rosne cinnamon rolls.
Speaker 1 (01:11:55):
One girl. Now there's a girl in Mesquite who's doing
seafood boils and selling the big bag. I know it
sounds seafood. I know it sounds crazy. And if you
told me a month ago, she told me a month ago, Billy,
you're gonna want to go buy some random person's house
on Facebook marketplace and get food, I'd be like, you're crazy.
But now there's so many people doing it. And this
guy reviews. All he does is reviews food off Facebook marketplace.
(01:12:19):
You're kidding And he gets so many views online and
I want to go try it.
Speaker 3 (01:12:24):
Okay, where do we go?
Speaker 1 (01:12:25):
I don't know. I forget the girl's name, but it's
a seafood boil and you just go to her house.
Speaker 3 (01:12:30):
Seafood though, it's like Center rules. I'm down for yer.
Speaker 1 (01:12:34):
If you saw this seafood boil and she gives you
a bag, she gives you all the fixings, she gives
you utensils, wipes everything. It comes in a big bag
with like you know, I mean, it looks so good.
And this guy who reviews food from people's houses, yeah,
says it was incredible. Give it like a nine out
(01:12:55):
of ten.
Speaker 3 (01:12:55):
Okay, does it have to be cooked or is it raw?
Like the meal you bought the other day?
Speaker 1 (01:12:59):
It's cool?
Speaker 3 (01:13:00):
Okay, Yeah, we got check.
Speaker 1 (01:13:03):
Rover. If I want raw seafood or anywhere else? Would
you do this though?
Speaker 3 (01:13:07):
Yeah, might do it if it was in my neighborhood
seafood Yeah, well no, that's seafood food.
Speaker 1 (01:13:12):
Would you do it? I don't know about seafood. She's
only got three cats. I'm out. No, you wouldn't do it. No,
you're doing it by yourself. You're gonna try it. You
gotta find this trip. Maybe I'll try and find you.
Speaker 3 (01:13:21):
Look then and see if there's any close to me.
Speaker 1 (01:13:22):
Yeah, there's some people that do like it, all different
kinds of food. So I think I'm gonna try that.
I'll have to review it and let you know if
I show up tomorrow. If I don't show up tomorrow,
you'll know why care. Billy's got that hand to virus Friday,
the Hanna Civic virus. She said, wait till Friday. Please
(01:13:42):
die over the weekend, Billy, if you don't mind, better
for my schedule, all right, we'll see later. Have a
good day. Bye.
