other's company.
Speaker 5 (01:36):
Four hours every day.
Speaker 2 (01:37):
He's not wrong. So you're basically saying you're sick of
us and want new friends.
Speaker 6 (01:40):
No, I just think it would be fun to meet
strangers and catch the vibe of Dallas and see what's.
Speaker 5 (01:46):
Going on with like people not on social media.
Speaker 1 (01:48):
Like can you pick this on the fall when it's
a little bit cooler.
Speaker 6 (01:52):
Yeah, I mean that's a good idea, but they do
it like early in the morning on Saturday or late
on Friday nights.
Speaker 2 (01:58):
On Saturday, you want to get out up early the
one day we have to sleep, and that's a good point.
Speaker 1 (02:03):
Let's let's get up at six to talk to strangers.
Speaker 5 (02:05):
I mean I'm up anyways because I have an eight
year old, so.
Speaker 2 (02:08):
I'm not come pick me up lady night on Friday. No, yeah,
what if me and Billy have dates? I say, we
send pooh.
Speaker 5 (02:19):
Yeah, report back and it's worth us going, report.
Speaker 2 (02:22):
Back and let us know. Okay, tell me when the

He's going to skip till the end of the Tacos part.
He'd be like, where y'all walking to? I'll just drive
and meet you there. Oh y'all have already been here,
My man. I thought it was that, Oh y'all going
to Poppies Tacos. I'll drive there. I know where to go.
Is that where they go?
Speaker 5 (02:42):
Yeah, they go to Poppies? Yeah, so fun.
Speaker 1 (02:45):
Okay, all right, well you know what can I'm gonna
do it if you.
Speaker 5 (02:47):
Want to do it, Okay, Well let's plan it for
the fall.
Speaker 2 (02:49):
Then if you want to show field trip, then I'm
all down. The last show field trip we had was
met Coosina.
Speaker 5 (02:56):
Right, we've done that. We know how that ended.
Speaker 2 (02:58):
Who was hammered? That was enough an accident with the
biggest bag of pretzels I've ever seen in my entire life,
and he fell asleep in my car on the way
home with his hand in the pretzel bag. Who even
knew they had that? And I said, how do you
even get a bag? I've never seen a bag of him? Yeah,
(03:19):
I've a little cup or whatever. And I said, how
did you get that? And he goes, I'm a loyalty member.
Yeah my pro rewards. Oh my god, wow, Canice? You're
thinking very crazy this morning.
Speaker 6 (03:31):
Okay, you're right, and I love foggy this morning, but
I think it's a good idea.
Speaker 1 (03:34):
I do like crazy.
Speaker 2 (03:36):
Circle back, yeah, circle back in October, right around Halloween.
All right, fair, hopefully she'll forget producer poos here, what's up?
Speaker 4 (03:45):
Oh?
Speaker 7 (03:45):
The craziest thing happened to me yesterday. I was across
the street getting my oil Chaine in Firestone and this
girl got trapped in the bathroom.
Speaker 2 (03:55):
I mean, I didn't mean.
Speaker 7 (03:57):
To laugh, but I was like, what going in was
like trying to go to the bathroom, Like they were like,
you going the female No, no, it's just a.
Speaker 1 (04:04):
It's a unisex bathroom.
Speaker 7 (04:05):
Okay, well yes, sorry, And the main lady goes, hey,
somebody's in there. I go, oh, okay, cool. So I
come back because I went to the gas station, came
back and they were like, uh, we'll get you out
in a minute, and I was like, what's going on?
And it locks from the inside. I'm like, how does
(04:25):
she get stuck? And they finally got a flat edge
screwdriver because I told him you can go right on
the end and use it.
Speaker 2 (04:33):
Like, how do you know? Oh you know, I've gotten
through some locks in my day, and talk about a
shading story.
Speaker 7 (04:39):
I mean, I showed him how to get in, and
finally the girl comes out, but she's like barely thirty,
a young girl.
Speaker 2 (04:46):
I thought it was like an older lace.
Speaker 1 (04:47):
That matter.
Speaker 7 (04:48):
I'm just saying, how how do you get stuck? And
all you gotta do is turn a little latch.
Speaker 1 (04:52):
She's like, I got I got the door, didn't malfunction.
Speaker 2 (04:54):
No, oh, come on, I promise I put it on.
Speaker 1 (04:58):
I put it on my Instagram because the other the
other girl went in there and twisted.
Speaker 7 (05:02):
She goes, ma'am, all you had to do was turn this,
she goes. I tried, it didn't move, and we were
all laughing. I was like, no, there's no way.
Speaker 5 (05:09):
I mean, I've been locked.
Speaker 6 (05:10):
In those before and I thought I might have to
crawl underneath this thing, because that's gonna just be You.
Speaker 1 (05:16):
Got locked in a bathroom stall.
Speaker 5 (05:18):
Yeah, well, sometimes the locks just get stuck.
Speaker 6 (05:21):
You even one here in the in the on this
floor in our women's room here has.
Speaker 5 (05:26):
Been stuck before.
Speaker 6 (05:27):
I've been next to the person and they're like jiggling
in and.
Speaker 1 (05:30):
Really, yeah, I've never been stuck.
Speaker 6 (05:33):
They had a place a lock on the middle stall
here in a stall.
Speaker 2 (05:36):
I will say, I have had somebody crawl under the
stall when I was.
Speaker 1 (05:41):
Oh yeah, that kid like some kid was.
Speaker 2 (05:44):
Running around the bathroom and then all of a sudden
I see it head peek a boo, and I was like, hello, no,
you can't do got go. I was on the commode.
Come come.
Speaker 5 (06:03):
That is the worst word ever.
Speaker 2 (06:08):
I said, because.
Speaker 1 (06:10):
My mom says that I know Cannas hates it.
Speaker 5 (06:15):
You say six four, y'all, not.
Speaker 2 (06:18):
Cloud and get off the kmmode. It's not alright, y'all,
stop playing around on the kimmode. Get off the kimmode.
Speaker 5 (06:27):
Not waking up for this?
Speaker 2 (06:29):
All right?
Speaker 1 (06:29):
Should we kick off the show? Oh boy, alright, let's
do it.
Speaker 2 (06:34):
It's the commode show.
Speaker 1 (06:36):
A weird word.
Speaker 5 (06:37):
It's awful, you know, it's absolutely awful.
Speaker 2 (06:40):
Canus hates that?
Speaker 1 (06:41):
Word, what's a word you hate?
Speaker 2 (06:43):
Eight three three.
Speaker 1 (06:44):
Seven eight seven one two nine Tell me what word
you hate?
Speaker 2 (06:47):
Can I? Can you say it? Once? Cannas comeo that

stories on the tense with Billy's a Kid in the.
Speaker 6 (06:56):
Morning only on the new mix one O two point nine.
Speaker 2 (06:59):
Wrote song just make you happy? Oh yeah, Ken's that's
that song for me right there?
Speaker 5 (07:03):
Yeah, I like it.
Speaker 1 (07:03):
I know it's just light.
Speaker 2 (07:05):
Yeah, it's light.
Speaker 1 (07:06):
I'm just dancing around.
Speaker 2 (07:07):
Now, Kennas. What is going on?
Speaker 6 (07:08):
Well, guys, the US men's national team is out of
the World Cup after a four to one loss to
Belgium last night in Seattle.
Speaker 5 (07:15):
So sad to wake up to this.
Speaker 1 (07:17):
News this morning and me to Belgium, you suck.
Speaker 2 (07:19):
We don't even like your waffles, yaffle, Yeah we do,
we actually do.
Speaker 1 (07:23):
Like what else is Belgium famous for chocolate?
Speaker 2 (07:28):
They got a lot of good stuff?
Speaker 5 (07:29):
Yeah, I think they do. They took the lead just
nine minutes into the match.
Speaker 6 (07:33):
The US scored about twenty minutes later, but it was
all Belgium from there.
Speaker 5 (07:37):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (07:37):
When they scored that first one, I was like, oh,
their energy is on and then Tilman scored and I
was like, okay, We're all right, and then when they
scored again, this is over.
Speaker 2 (07:45):
Does this just tell we have to call it football?
Or can we still call it soccer?
Speaker 5 (07:50):
I mean we call it soccer here. Let's just go
with that.
Speaker 6 (07:53):
They're gonna move on though, to play Spain and the
quarterfinals on Friday. If you are keeping up, though, Argentina
plays today at eleven, so that should be a fun one.
Speaker 1 (08:02):
Okay, Well, who do we root for now? Mexico's out?
Speaker 5 (08:05):
Mexico's out? I mean, who do you want? You want France?
You want Spain? Do you want uh? Norway?
Speaker 1 (08:10):
I want France. I kind of like Norway because I
like that big blonde dude.
Speaker 2 (08:14):
Yeah, I like France.
Speaker 1 (08:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (08:16):
You would also have friends from England who are super stoked,
so I kind of.
Speaker 5 (08:19):
Want them to win. But by the way, did you
see that player who.
Speaker 6 (08:22):
Jumped over that like a little ad wall.
Speaker 5 (08:26):
The player from England and when broke his arm, he's
out of the world. Come we would win over Mexico.
Speaker 6 (08:34):
He jumps over this thing and then breaks his arm.
Speaker 5 (08:36):
He knew he was on a stretcher.
Speaker 1 (08:37):
Did he do it to celebrate or it.
Speaker 6 (08:39):
Was part of the celebration. He was just kind of
going over the thing.
Speaker 2 (08:42):
But well, I'm sorry, guy, can't jump. You know, that's
something that happened.
Speaker 5 (08:47):
It wasn't very high.
Speaker 2 (08:50):
Blue heard himself jumping over a curve six inches high,
blew his back out, both kne He's gone out of.
Speaker 5 (08:59):
The world, guys.
Speaker 6 (09:03):
Toyota says they will build a new three point six
billion dollar auto plant in Texas, shifting some of its
production to the US from Mexico. So this will be
where they build their mid size Tacoma truck. It's going
to be part of their manufacturing campus down in San Antonio.
It's expected to open by twenty thirty and create two
thousand jobs in that area. So that's why you're seeing
(09:23):
Toyota and Texas in the news today. And then AI
actress known as Tilly Norwood, she's going to make her
feature film debut and a movie called Missaligned, So she's
basically kind of going to play herself. She's basically an
AI you know, who lives in this digital world called
the Tilly Verse, and I guess she gets convinced by
(09:43):
a rogue bot to develop her own ambitions and this
story is basically, you know, the more human she becomes,
the more famous she gets.
Speaker 5 (09:51):
But this film is going to.
Speaker 6 (09:52):
Be a hybrid production, with a mix of directors, writers,
and editors working with AI specialists. They haven't said when
it's going to come out. This I will not be
watching this movie.
Speaker 1 (10:02):
Well, first of all, your husband's an actor, right, so
this has taking his jobs, right, And I don't like
the idea of just AI everything.
Speaker 5 (10:09):
Yeah, I mean, do we need this storyline?
Speaker 6 (10:11):
We've had this storyline before we actually had real AI.
Speaker 2 (10:15):
Yes, And I do kind of want an Ai pooh. Well,
it'd be fun to have an Ai poo. Yeah, just
I mean he is kind of AI anyway.
Speaker 5 (10:26):
I don't know, I don't think so.
Speaker 1 (10:28):
No, No, what is that?
Speaker 2 (10:31):
He's just not effective enough? He's not very effective AI.
Speaker 6 (10:36):
You're compendable, consistent, Oh that is true.
Speaker 5 (10:41):
Is loyal, So I'll give him that.
Speaker 6 (10:43):
And you know, he's got a good heart, which is
much better than AI heartless.
Speaker 3 (10:47):
You know.
Speaker 2 (10:48):
Well, it's like, at what point, what AI stuff are
we willing to accept?
Speaker 1 (10:51):
And what AI stuff are we not willing to accept.
Speaker 6 (10:54):
I'm not willing to accept an AI actress.
Speaker 5 (10:56):
I'll tell you.
Speaker 1 (10:56):
That I'm not willing to accept that, or an.
Speaker 6 (10:58):
AI musician, yeah yeah, exact producers, songwriter, songwriters, Yeah yeah.
Speaker 2 (11:03):
I just don't want it to take away when it
comes to art, art should be human.
Speaker 5 (11:07):
Yeah, I mean about emotion comes from.
Speaker 1 (11:09):
It's about a connection.
Speaker 6 (11:10):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (11:11):
And I'm you know, I'm also not okay with AI DJs. No,
a radio person. Absolutely, that would be awful. Yeah, because
my job will be instantly gone, exactly.
Speaker 1 (11:22):
Yeah, I can't do what we do.
Speaker 6 (11:23):
No, I don't want to see Tilly Norwood and these.
Speaker 2 (11:28):
I don't want to see that either.
Speaker 5 (11:30):
And I'd rather watch Poo and the Poo Verse. Yeah,
it'd be a better movie.
Speaker 6 (11:35):
Alright, Alright, I'm Canda slow Panz. Those are your Texas

Speaker 1 (14:23):
Let's see if she can do it again on a repeat.
First headline headline number one.
Speaker 2 (14:27):
Man in wheelchair Rob's Bank in California and gets away? Okay,
Man in wheelchair Rob's Bank in California and gets away?
Speaker 1 (14:36):
Headline number one.
Speaker 2 (14:37):
Headline number two, Police respond after neighbors inflatable t rex sparks.
Speaker 1 (14:43):
Nine one one calls.
Speaker 2 (14:45):
Police respond after neighbors inflatable t rex sparks. Nine one
one calls. Headline number two, Headline number three. Missing World
Cup fan found drinking in Barcelona with no clue he
was being searched. Missing World Cup fan found drinking in
(15:05):
Barcelona with no clue he was being searched. For three
headlines right there, you gotta tell me which one do
you think is a fake? Which one is the fake story?
Candis Lopez? Would you like to go first? Would you
like to pass it to Pooh?
Speaker 5 (15:20):
I'm going to pass it.
Speaker 1 (15:21):
To Pooh, so you want to let him win?
Speaker 5 (15:23):
To Tuesday Poosday?
Speaker 1 (15:25):
Tuesday Poosday? Yeah, Okay, Pooh, which one do you think
is the fake story?
Speaker 7 (15:30):
That first story the man in the wheelchair robbing the
bank and rolling out the door and getting away with him.
Speaker 1 (15:35):
Yeah, I think that's fake. Lock me in. You want

Speaker 2 (15:38):
Yeah, lock lock it in now, Candas Lopez, he thinks
that's fake.
Speaker 1 (15:44):
You're very good at this game.
Speaker 5 (15:46):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (15:46):
Which one do you think is the fake story?
Speaker 5 (15:49):
This is tough today? But lock me in for the
t reg story?
Speaker 1 (15:52):
T Rex story.
Speaker 2 (15:53):
Yeah, police respond after neighbors inflatable t Rex sparks nine
to one.

Speaker 2 (16:22):
No, yeah, I don't really think it's luck. I think
it's more about just this Poo's easy to beat. Oh okay, yeah,
let's go to the real stories.
Speaker 1 (16:32):
That's t Rex story is fake. I made that one up.
The real stories.
Speaker 2 (16:36):
Man in wheelchair robs California bank and gets away. Police
in Pasadena searching for a bank robber who made us
get away in a wheelchair. Authorities say the man rolled
into the First Citizens Bank around two forty seven pm Friday.
He handed the teller a note claiming that he had
a gun and he was here to rob the place,
so they immediately handed him a few thousand dollars. I
(16:59):
guess banks have money to the side ready to give away,
because banks don't carry that much money like they used to,
because they just don't. So they have a little separate
teller of bank notes or whatever that are traceable, that
have ink on them, or all this stuff that they can,
so they're ready to just hand him a few thousand.
(17:20):
So if you rob a bank, which I wouldn't advise.
Speaker 5 (17:22):
Yeah, this is awful share you know.
Speaker 2 (17:25):
Well no, no, no, it's just what happens. Can it's
called a robbery? Till Yeah, how do you know? Because
I dated a girl who worked at Bank of America? Yeah? Yeah,
why'd you date her? Just dated?
Speaker 1 (17:40):
Hey, say, girl, I don't know if you could do this.
Speaker 2 (17:41):
But your boys laid on his TX. I'm gonna make
a quick deposit for a hundred, but if you could
put three zeros after that, your boy pooh would appreciate that.
Either way. The guy got a few thousand dollars and
he rolled out. That's what it says. Literally, I'm just wow,
(18:05):
he says. He rolled out and he got away, took off,
and they still have not found him. He's gone.
Speaker 7 (18:12):
How can you not find a dude in a wheelchair.
I just don't understand that.
Speaker 1 (18:15):
I mean, first of all, we know a lot we
know people in wheelchairs who are fast.
Speaker 2 (18:21):
Yes, they are, so I wouldn't. I mean, honestly, it
might be a quicker way to get away. Have you
seen you walk?
Speaker 1 (18:28):
Yeah, I mean you hit that handy ramp, you're out.
Speaker 2 (18:32):
Well, pooh, I have my I definitely would take him
over you a bank robbery you Oh, I'd get on
his lap before I roar. I'd be like, because poo
would be like doom doom, doom doom, who walks slow
(18:55):
as can be. He does not steal it, he dudes,
he scoop, all right. The other story was packing me up.
Missing World Cup fan found drinking in Barcelona with no
clue he was being searched for. An England soccer fan
who set off an international search after vanishing on his
(19:17):
way to the World Cup was found safe in a
Barcelona pub, completely unaware that anyone was looking for him.
His name is Michael, he's sixty five. He's known as
Little Mick. He left the UK on June twentieth, with
the layover in Barcelona before a connecting flight to Boston
for England's match against Ghana. So I guess he soon
(19:38):
arrived in Spain. He lost his phone, which held all
his travel tickets, so he said, I'm just gonna stay here.
Speaker 5 (19:44):
Good for him.
Speaker 2 (19:45):
I love this guy. This guy's just like, hey, we'll
figure it out. I'm not even upset. I lost my phone.
I'm in Barcelona for connecting flighting. Just stay here and
watch him. I'm in Barcelona. His family's freaking out though,
they're look, we haven't heard from him. He didn't land
in Boston. They start calling the British Foreign Office and
Inner Pol trying to figure out where he's at. They
sent off this international search for this guy, and he's
(20:07):
found hamsterred in a pub in Barcelona, going what dude, Mick,
We're looking all over for you, and he's like, I'm
hanging out in Barcelona. I like the story, though, have
you heard the story about the guy?
Speaker 5 (20:22):
God?
Speaker 2 (20:23):
I can't deal with this story every time I see it.
This guy was so drunk that he was reported missing,
and he was so drunk he started he joined the
search party that was looking for himself.
Speaker 1 (20:38):
That's Billy.
Speaker 2 (20:40):
This guy's like, i'll help, and they're like, yeah, we're
looking for a guy and they describe him and he's
like okay, and all of a sudden, one of the
guy's like, wait is that you?
Speaker 1 (20:49):
He's like, wait me, Oh, that is me.
Speaker 2 (20:54):
I found me.
Speaker 1 (20:55):
What's the reward?
Speaker 3 (20:57):
Right?
Speaker 2 (20:57):
It's mixed one or two point nine and bail at
a kid and a Slopez producer. Pooh. I had to
tell you all this because this cracked me up. So
my son is fifteen, you know, a rider, and my
mom now lives close to me, so close enough he
can ride his bike there and it's awesome, awesome, right,
So it's so great. And the other day I go
over there. He was already over there and I was
coming home or something. I stopped by to check on her,
(21:20):
make sure she was good, and he was over there
and when I walk in, and it's not that I
don't believe in this kind of stuff. It's not that
I believe I don't believe in I believe.
Speaker 1 (21:31):
In ghosts in a weird way. In spirits.
Speaker 2 (21:33):
This is gonna sound funny, OK, but I don't believe
Most of the time, I feel like there's an explanation.
Speaker 1 (21:39):
Yeah, does that make sense?
Speaker 2 (21:40):
So when I walk in the house, my mom goes, well,
me and Rider are hearing voices, and I'm like, wait
what And I'm like, what are you talking about?
Speaker 4 (21:51):
Mom?
Speaker 2 (21:52):
She goes, we just heard a girl's voice, a female's voice,
and we're freaking out. And I'm like what.
Speaker 1 (21:58):
I look at Ryder and he goes, no, for real,
it was kind of weird. I heard it.
Speaker 2 (22:02):
I definitely heard it, and there's nobody else in the house,
and I go, what do you mean? I go, there
has to be an explanation. But it was probably kids
in the backyard and like the other backyard playing.
Speaker 1 (22:17):
No, it was coming from in the house.
Speaker 2 (22:19):
And my mom oh, she's like I thought she was
ready to get like a bat or something. She's like,
we looked around, there's no woman in the house. I'm like, well, no, kiddy.
Speaker 1 (22:27):
Mom.
Speaker 2 (22:29):
Riders like no, I know, Dad, I know you're laughing.
But because I'm like, come on, guys, really, so I
leave and I had to come back. I went to
the store and come back right and I'm like, where's
that little girl at I got some candy for her?
And she's like, you're laughing, but it's not funny. It's
not funny. My mom is like genuinely concerned, and I'm like, oh, okay,
(22:51):
well I didn't know. It was like, you know, that's serious. Yeah,
and Rider and I leave and I see him, you know,
obviously at the house at our house, and I'm like,
did you really hear a voice? He's like, no, Dad,
I swear to you. I heard a voice talking. And
by the time it was done, I was like I
couldn't figure out which room.
Speaker 1 (23:06):
It was coming from. Like that's weird.
Speaker 2 (23:09):
So the next day I go to my mom's and
I'm like, has that little girl been back? And she goes,
are you ready for this? She goes, I think I
figured it out. I go, what where's the little girl?
She goes it was the Alexa in the other room.
(23:32):
For two three days, my mom the house was haunted
and it was the Alexa in her bedroom. Trying to
because first of all, love you, mom. I know you're
probably listening. She asked, Alexa everything. I'm like, Mom, it'll
(23:53):
be something so complicated, and she's like, well, let me
ask Alexa. And I'm like Alexa, and I'm like, no, don't.
I'm trying not to set up people's Alexa at home,
but I'm like don't, no, no, And then she's it's
too late. She's already talking asking Alexa everything, Well, what
time does what time does that place close? Let me
ask Alexa. But she'll say it so generically. They don't
(24:13):
know what's going on. Alexa's pulling up some burger place
in Idaho and she's trying to and she's like, no, no, no, Alexa, stop, Alexa,
stop screaming it. Well, she's screaming at the one in
the kitchen, but the one in the bedroom's answering. And
she thought it was a ghost. So good to know
what my mom says. So I called Rider. I'm Rider,
(24:39):
you wouldn't believe this. I'm like, we found the ghost.
He's like, you did.
Speaker 1 (24:44):
What was it?
Speaker 2 (24:45):
I'm like, it was the Alexa in the other room.
Oh that makes sense, yes, Fadhost.
Speaker 1 (24:54):
It's a modern ghost that will order stuff for you
if you need to. These tests tough stories on the
tents with Billy they get in the.
Speaker 6 (25:03):
Morning only on the New Mix one or two point nine.
Speaker 1 (25:06):
I got a dirty little secret coming up at seven thirty.
Speaker 2 (25:08):
It is a special one that could honestly be a
Netflix documentary. Jeez, that's all I'm gonna say. You're ready
for that dirty little Secret? Seven thirty Cannislopez. What is
going on?
Speaker 6 (25:17):
Well, cases of a stomach bug link to a parasite
are showing up in Texas. At least two cases have
been reported in Ditton County, but health officials say more
infections maybe out there, they just aren't getting reported. I'm
not going to say how they're describing this on social media.
Speaker 1 (25:32):
Yeah, yeah, you'll be on the commode.
Speaker 5 (25:36):
Oh my god.
Speaker 1 (25:36):
I hate to use the words because I know it
bugs you.
Speaker 5 (25:39):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (25:40):
Well, I don't want to say it either because I
hate the word.
Speaker 3 (25:43):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (25:43):
I don't have to tell. I don't have to get
into detail, but you know the word It starts with
a d oh. Yeah, but it's the word they put before, right,
that word that really gets me. Like, I'm like news,
you don't have to do that.
Speaker 1 (25:53):
We get it right.
Speaker 5 (25:54):
It's a lot.
Speaker 2 (25:55):
It's okay. I'll say the one word, but I'm not
going to say them together because together they're awful. Okay, okay, explosive.
I don't need that word in front of the other word.
Speaker 6 (26:05):
No, since when is that what we say in like
a news article?
Speaker 2 (26:08):
Every news headline is explosive, I know, and I can't
deal with it. I'm like, we get it, the bubbles,
but where Yeah bubbles who calls bubble guts whatever you
want to call them. Yeah, we get what's going on,
But I don't want this virus coming around.
Speaker 5 (26:22):
Yeah no, I.
Speaker 6 (26:22):
Don't either seventeen states or reporting cases at this point.
Texas has between eleven and thirty cases since May first.
But the foods a link to outbreaks include bag salad mixes,
fresh cilantro, fresh basil, raspberry, snowpeas, and green onions.
Speaker 2 (26:38):
Well, ain't getting this disease.
Speaker 7 (26:42):
Cilantro, all the stuff you mentioned except cilantro alone.
Speaker 2 (26:45):
Yes, cilantro might be the only thing he eats on
tacos and it ain't fresh.
Speaker 1 (26:50):
Use no bag salad. That was the last time you
had basil?
Speaker 7 (26:54):
I don't never maybe on my pizza right fair.
Speaker 5 (27:00):
Oh my gosh, guys.
Speaker 6 (27:02):
The Texas Department of Transportation is launching Operation slow Down
next week, so this is a statewide initiative focusing on
public education and speed enforcement. It runs July eighteenth through
August second, so definitely expect a significant increase in law
enforcement presence during this time. Agencies will target speeders and
(27:24):
aggressive driving on top of giving you know, citations. Police
vehicles will actively pace traffic by driving the exact posted
speed limits.
Speaker 5 (27:34):
They're saying. The key highways you're likely.
Speaker 6 (27:36):
To see more patrol units are I thirty five E seventy.
Speaker 1 (27:40):
Five, Well, seventy five don't move anyway.
Speaker 6 (27:42):
Well, when it moves, it moves, though, that's true.
Speaker 5 (27:44):
Yeah. And then the Dallastoor toll way.
Speaker 1 (27:46):
Well, and now that moves, yeah, yeah, that moves if
it's not rush hour that people fly, Yeah.
Speaker 5 (27:51):
I have an issue with that one.
Speaker 6 (27:52):
The other two I'm fine, But the toll way, well, yeah, that's.
Speaker 1 (27:54):
My route, that's your racetrack.
Speaker 5 (27:56):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (27:57):
So they're not going to be on six thirty five.
Speaker 5 (27:59):
Well, I mean they probably will.
Speaker 1 (28:00):
Even the cops are like, I ain't going on six.
Speaker 5 (28:03):
It's probably true.
Speaker 2 (28:04):
Even the cops are like, too many potholes for me
about operation mind your own business and lead.
Speaker 5 (28:16):
But it is.
Speaker 6 (28:16):
It is dangerous. I mean the roads here are insane.
People are like speeding everywhere, racing everywhere, Like there's a
difference between speeding and just like literally racing the other charger.
Speaker 1 (28:26):
It's the aggressive chargers.
Speaker 5 (28:28):
It's two chargers all the time.
Speaker 6 (28:30):
It's two chargers every time, okay, or two Ultimas or.
Speaker 2 (28:35):
Trust don't play. Yeah, Ultima's will hit you and keep going.
They don't care. Operation don't care. Yeah, Operation Ultima. You
don't let them have one.
Speaker 7 (28:45):
Of those special engine pipes or whatever coming out.
Speaker 5 (28:48):
Oh yeah, yeah, watch yourself.
Speaker 2 (28:50):
You know what's becoming the new ultimate though, the Centris.
Oh yeah, yeah, they're wild. If you're driving a central
right now, slow down.
Speaker 5 (29:00):
Oh quick, guys.
Speaker 6 (29:00):
Ashley Tisdell is developing a comedy series for Netflix called
Toxic Moms. So this is inspired by all the drama
around that article she wrote earlier this year where she
basically talked about how she was kicked out of this
Hollywood mom group. It was called breaking up with My
Toxic Mom Group. So this was people like Hillary Duff.
They were saying, Mandy Moore, Megan Trainer. She said, they
(29:23):
basically started excluding her from things. It all went viral.
It caused a whole, you know, slew of responses in
drama on the Internet.
Speaker 5 (29:31):
Well, the show is going.
Speaker 6 (29:32):
To be based on a first time mom who gets
invited into a circle of the affluent moms who aren't
as supportive as they seem. Ashley is expected to star
in the show, as.
Speaker 5 (29:41):
Is Ali Wong.
Speaker 6 (29:42):
So this looks like a good a good basis for a.
Speaker 5 (29:45):
Show, for sure.
Speaker 1 (29:46):
There's a lot of drama when it comes to the
mom groups. Oh yeah, you know. It's like all these
group chats and is someone side group chat?
Speaker 2 (29:53):
Yes, side group chat? And then somebody gets kicked out
of the group chat. Can you find out about another
group chat?
Speaker 6 (29:57):
Yeah, you get ejected out of the group chat, and
you don't know until someone else is like, hey, did
you know you were taken out of.
Speaker 5 (30:02):
The group chat?
Speaker 2 (30:03):
No, way that happens. Oh yeah, oh god, what that's awful.
How are you gonna make it? Yeah, you're gonna be okay.
That happens.
Speaker 1 (30:11):
Guys, we don't deal with that.
Speaker 2 (30:13):
No, No, don't know what group chats. I don't even
group chats are dicey. Yeah, I don't like group chats.
Who and I don't even text each other? Sometimes I
call him when I'm in the shower.
Speaker 1 (30:27):
Yeah, because I like.
Speaker 2 (30:29):
To annoy him.
Speaker 1 (30:29):
Yeah, I can't stand there.
Speaker 2 (30:30):
He's like, is that the water running?
Speaker 5 (30:32):
It was awful?
Speaker 1 (30:33):
Yeah, well I have time to.
Speaker 2 (30:34):
Talk in the shower.
Speaker 5 (30:36):
It's so weird.
Speaker 1 (30:36):
All right, Well i'll call you tonight.
Speaker 5 (30:38):
Can those are your Texas top story? Get it off
your chest to promise you'll feel better.

secret if you have one eight three three seven eight
seven one o two nine. Now, from what I understand
this one, it's it's a wild one. What's going on?
Speaker 3 (32:27):
It's weird. You know.
Speaker 8 (32:28):
I never really talk about it publicly because the few
people that I did tell they just kind of look
at me like I'm describing like a Netflix documentary.
Speaker 2 (32:36):
Wow.
Speaker 3 (32:37):
Okay, So I found out in my early twenties that
my entire life was basically built on a lie. The
people that I thought were my parents were actually my grandparents,
and the woman I thought was me hold on, Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2 (32:52):
Hold on, you said the people that you thought were
your parents were actually your grandparents.
Speaker 3 (32:58):
Whoa correct?
Speaker 1 (32:59):
Oh okay.
Speaker 3 (33:00):
The woman I thought was my older sister, she was
my mother.
Speaker 2 (33:06):
This just yeah, gave me the weirdest like creeps.
Speaker 6 (33:10):
Yeah, it does feel like your whole life's a lie.
Speaker 1 (33:12):
That's and it does sound like a Netflix special. Yeah,
i'd watch it, well, I.
Speaker 2 (33:15):
Would that, Okay, what tell me? I mean how I
don't even I'm rarely speechless.
Speaker 3 (33:23):
How okay? So, like growing up, nothing really seemed that unusual.
My parents were older, like older than most of my
friend's parents, but not so much older that I questioned it. Yeah.
They were really strict and private people, like not exactly
the type you sat down with and had big conversations
with you know, so I never really asked a lot
of questions. So the woman I thought was my sister,
(33:48):
she wasn't around very much. She'd like pop in and
out every now and then and then disappear for a
long time. And nobody ever told me why. It all
makes sense now, of course. So she struggled with addiction
for most of her life. And what I didn't know
was that she had me when she was only sixteen. Wow, okay, yeah,
(34:08):
so my grand my grandparents parents got legal custody of
me and adopted me.
Speaker 2 (34:15):
Really okay, which happens, I mean this, but usually it
does play out to where they say they're the they're
the parents, right.
Speaker 1 (34:22):
That's the part that got me.
Speaker 3 (34:24):
I mean, they kept that secret for years, and the
only reason I ever found out was because my grandfather
got really sick, and as he got worse, he told
my grandmother that he couldn't pass away without telling me
the truth.
Speaker 1 (34:38):
Oh man, okay, so you eventually find out, And how
did they tell you?
Speaker 2 (34:43):
Like?
Speaker 1 (34:43):
How does that even go down?
Speaker 3 (34:45):
I know? Right? So, like one night they sat me down,
like we have something to tell you, and I'm like, oh,
they're gonna tell me he doesn't have a lot of
time left, you know. Instead, they totally changed my life,
And I really honestly don't remember that much. After hearing
those words, like you're actually were actually your grandparents, everything
is kind a blur and like, you know, all of
a sudden, every memory you have feels different.
Speaker 2 (35:07):
Yeah. Yeah, because you've questioned, everything got to be in shock.
Speaker 3 (35:10):
Yeah, Like every photo, every holiday, every conversation, it's like
somebody hand to meet some new script of my own
life and told me I've been reading the wrong one
the whole time.
Speaker 2 (35:20):
You know, And you never really had any kind of
like a red flag pop up, like okay, well that
was weird. Like when you look back now, it's probably
easier because hindsight's twenty twenty.
Speaker 3 (35:29):
Yes, yes, there were clues. A few years earlier, my mom,
my biological mom, passed away from an overdose, and at
the time I thought I had lost my sister. But
what was weird was like how quickly everything happened. There
really wasn't a funeral, no big gathering or anything, just
a small celebration of life with like immediate family, and
(35:52):
I remember feeling like people were grieving like way harder
than I understood, and now I know why. Like I
I don't hate my grandparents for what they did, but
I mean they honestly they saved me from ye pretty
heard upbringing. You know. They gave me stability and a
home and a chance of a normal life that I
wouldn't have had.
Speaker 2 (36:11):
You know, right, But still it's a lot to feel.
Just just the thought of being lied to for a
long time isn't settling, right, you know.
Speaker 3 (36:20):
Yeah, it's messed up. It messed me up.
Speaker 2 (36:21):
You know, That's what I was going to ask you, Like,
did is this something that you're still dealing with? Obviously?
Speaker 3 (36:27):
Yeah, I mean it's like hard to explain, Like you
learn your entire identity isn't exactly what you thought it was.
And I've spent a lot of time and therapy trying
to figure it out and process it. And like my
father's gone now, my grandmother doesn't really like talking about
any of it. Most questions I ask are like I
get short answers or like total silence. Really, yeah, I
(36:48):
still have a lot of questions. A lot of stuff
is missing, and you know that's the hardest part. I
think I probably never know.
Speaker 2 (36:54):
Yeah, and yeah, and it's personal obviously for your grandma
or your mom. She's like, what do you even say
now that you thought she was your mother? She's your grandmother,
but your grand you know, you can still call her mom? Okay, Yeah,
I mean yeah, yeah, I do, right, And but yeah,
to have your mother pass away so you can't ask
her questions about it, Yeah, that's a lot. Wow, what
(37:16):
a powerful secret. Well, it sounds like you turned out
good and as crazy as it is, it probably built
a lot of character for you. And and you know,
you learn a lot from yourself when you go through
stuff like this. Unfortunately, Yeah, but you do so well.
Thank you for sharing that. I really appreciate that, and
I hope it works out for you and maybe you
get some of the answers that you you want and
(37:38):
that you need. Really, thank you and good luck with everything. Okay,
thank you again.
Speaker 3 (37:43):
I think what I told you.
Speaker 2 (37:45):
Yeah, what can you imagine living your entire life and
you find out your grandparents are your parents?
Speaker 5 (37:51):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (37:52):
That is a Netflix special right there?
Speaker 2 (37:58):
All right, Candace Court, it gets settled here with Billy
the Kid in the morning right for the honible Judge
Candace Lopez straight out of Mesquite, the Mesquite Mamasita, the Townies,
Queen herself.
Speaker 1 (38:12):
Yeah, thank you, Okay, Cannas Lopez.
Speaker 2 (38:14):
It's mixed one or two point nine A billy to
kid poo's here, but we're no judge Candace. Oh, by
the way, four pack of tickets coming up for Universal
Kids Resort if you want those.
Speaker 1 (38:22):
This is a special court.
Speaker 5 (38:23):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (38:24):
We give away prizes too. Yeah, well your problems and
give away prizes. That's coming around eight thirty now, Candas Court.
If you have an issue for Candace, she can help
you solve it at Candas on Air, at Candas on
Air on Instagram.
Speaker 1 (38:36):
Okay, now, I don't know if it's from a man
or woman, but here we go.
Speaker 2 (38:39):
Work was weird yesterday coming back from the holiday weekend,
so I had to tell y'all what happened. I went
to a Fourth of July party at my boss's house.
He does a version of this every year, and during
the fireworks, one got away and went off close to
his house. It was way too close to everyone and
blew up almost directly.
Speaker 1 (38:57):
On my car.
Speaker 2 (38:58):
Oh the paint is. I'm pretty messed up now where
this happened, and I've called my insurance company. I'm guessing
the damage will be in the thousands. But my insurance
company is asking all kinds of questions, and it feels
like they're gonna want me to get insurance info from
my boss since it was his property, his fireworks and
(39:19):
his party. O Oh okay, I've taken pictures and I
sent them to my insurance company. But I'm wondering how
to approach my boss about this, especially since he knew
it happened and actually laughed a little when he saw it.
What he's acting like he can't control where the fireworks go,
that it was an accident.
Speaker 1 (39:39):
What do you want me to do about it? I'm
not sure what to do or how.
Speaker 2 (39:43):
To handle this. Oh interesting, Okay, So it sounds like
she's at her boss's party. She I don't even know. Yeah,
they're at their boss's party. Boss has a big party
where there's fireworks and all this stuff, and he lets
them off and one and hits her car and damages
her car pretty bad, to the point she has to
(40:05):
contact her insurance and well, I mean, what do you
do in this situation, Candice?
Speaker 6 (40:11):
I mean your boss is partly responsible. No, I mean
he's the one that's shooting off the fireworks. It's your party, Like,
how could he not at least offer to help you
get your car fix? And like laughing it off and
being like, what do you want me to do about it?
Speaker 1 (40:25):
Isn't fair at all. I don't know you need to
pay for my car.
Speaker 2 (40:29):
Well, if you're okay, well I wish you could get
her on the phone because I have a few questions.
Speaker 5 (40:34):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (40:35):
One of the questions is do you know there's going
to be fireworks there? Because if you know there's going
to be fireworks there, to me, you're assuming the risk.
Speaker 5 (40:43):
Okay, that's fair, possibly.
Speaker 1 (40:44):
Getting hurt by firework. I don't go to fireworks.
Speaker 2 (40:47):
I don't go to any house or any party where
we're letting off our own fireworks.
Speaker 5 (40:51):
You don't know.
Speaker 1 (40:52):
I had an uncle, Jeff, who lost two fingers.
Speaker 2 (40:55):
A year.
Speaker 5 (40:56):
I mean, I'm thinking back to when I did a year.
Speaker 2 (40:59):
I think he lost at least a finger a year
every fourth of you lot. Because if you get drunk
and he had roam and candles and black cats and
M eighty's, yeah, you know, whistle whistle dixies or whatever
they are. Yeah, something will always blow up in his hand.
And he was drunk and at some point you're like, okay,
well why am I here? Nine one one is going
to be called? And I don't want to get I
(41:20):
don't want to lose an eye.
Speaker 5 (41:21):
Yeah. I mean I remember moving my.
Speaker 6 (41:23):
Car before when I thought, oh okay, I'm kind of close.
I just didn't want like the ash or whatever the
little pieces to get dirty on my car. I didn't
think about a firework actually, like that's.
Speaker 5 (41:32):
Smarting on my car.
Speaker 2 (41:33):
That's like, what are you going to do? Yeah, it's
like okay, for example, it's like going to a baseball game. Okay,
you go to a baseball game, like at your local
whatever little league. Yeah, and you park in the right
field where the parking lot is, and then you get
your window blown out, and you're like, I can't believe
in baseball hit my window. Yeah, you parked right by
the fence.
Speaker 5 (41:52):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (41:53):
Can't you just assume that you're going to take the
risk of getting a broken windshield if you park in
a place where a ball might fly, Because if I
go to a baseball field, I'm parking way far away
because I don't want my car to get hit by
a baseball.
Speaker 5 (42:04):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (42:05):
So if we went to a fireworks thing at your house,
and you won't, and you're doing it in the driveway,
and I know you at least offer to pay my
pay you, yeah.
Speaker 5 (42:15):
Pay for like, hey man, that's the right thing to
do my house.
Speaker 2 (42:21):
Yeah, my heart right there.
Speaker 7 (42:22):
And you let off some Roman candles and it hits
off my windshield.
Speaker 2 (42:27):
Not paying faces up. First of all, you can't hurt
that thing. We've seen that thing. There's no damage I
could do that's greater than what you've already done.
Speaker 1 (42:38):
So this is a bad example. Let's take candis.
Speaker 3 (42:44):
It is.
Speaker 1 (42:44):
It's gently used. It's gently used. Car has been through it,
you know, leans.
Speaker 2 (42:51):
The one side hubcap missing, its stressed, it's been through
a lot.
Speaker 3 (42:57):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (42:58):
But if I park my car at your house, you're
doing a whole fireworks show and everything like that, like
you know, as when you're setting them off with the
risk is too So why don't you be like, hey, guys,
I'm about to do this.
Speaker 2 (43:08):
This is a ridiculous scenario because I'm not doing this
at my house. I'm not having fireworks in my house.
Speaker 5 (43:13):
You're not in Carrollton. No, but I don't even trust
Probably did this.
Speaker 2 (43:17):
Show and that's awesome, but I'm not parking next to
their house. I'm parking down the street. Well, I'll just
tell my boss, hey, you gotta pay. You wouldn't say that, Yes,
I would know you. Pooh, so you got your boss
right now.
Speaker 7 (43:27):
So I'm just supposed to claiming on my insurance and
just played the deductible.
Speaker 1 (43:31):
At all that out of my pocket?
Speaker 6 (43:33):
Yeah no, can't we just boast c mentory insurance?
Speaker 2 (43:36):
Yeah, and see who wins?
Speaker 1 (43:38):
The boss got homeowner his insurance.
Speaker 2 (43:40):
He can do that.
Speaker 1 (43:42):
Go ahead and do that, and then you know what,
in two weeks your reviews up.
Speaker 5 (43:47):
Yeah, that is that is awkward.
Speaker 2 (43:49):
You know what.
Speaker 1 (43:50):
Things aren't working out so well?
Speaker 2 (43:52):
It would be a major probably going to be made
your lawsuit. You fired me because yeah, no, I didn't
fight you because I fired you because you're performing.
Speaker 1 (44:00):
Your car just happened to blow up.
Speaker 3 (44:04):
Before.
Speaker 1 (44:05):
Sorry, I don't know how that happened.
Speaker 2 (44:08):
Okay, interesting case. You ever had one like this?
Speaker 5 (44:11):
No, we haven't. I'm so torn.
Speaker 2 (44:13):
I'm torn too because I don't know which way you're
gonna go. But yeah, the verdict is in.
Speaker 6 (44:17):
Yeah, look, I think your boss is guilty of being
a firecracker.
Speaker 5 (44:19):
Fred, you gotta least chip in. Let's maybe hold me and.
Speaker 6 (44:25):
Figure out how we can just split this and not
get insurance involved.
Speaker 1 (44:28):
Not a Roman candle, Randy, it's a bottle rocket Bob to.
Speaker 2 (44:34):
Bro bottle rocket Bos.
Speaker 5 (44:36):
This happened at your house. You set the firework.
Speaker 1 (44:39):
You gotta pay half of it?
Speaker 3 (44:40):
Is you pay?
Speaker 5 (44:40):
I think you should at least pay half?
Speaker 2 (44:43):
Wow?
Speaker 6 (44:43):
We both are responsible, we both assume the risk. So
let's have z's and call it a day and we'll
work on my review later.
Speaker 1 (44:50):
Yeah, sounds kind of fair. But if it's pooh, I'm
still fired.
Speaker 3 (44:55):
This is tough Stories Kid in the.
Speaker 5 (44:59):
Morning only on the new Mix one two point nine.
Speaker 1 (45:02):
Oh yes, Candice Lopez.
Speaker 2 (45:04):
So, by the way, tickets coming up next. If you
want to four pack to Universal Kids Resort, which I
haven't even been to you yet, I want to check
it out right, four pack we will give away coming
up next. Cannis, what's going on? Well?
Speaker 6 (45:13):
The US men's national team is out of the World
Cup after a four to one loss to Belgium last.
Speaker 5 (45:18):
Night in Seattle.
Speaker 6 (45:20):
I didn't think I was going to take this loss
as hard as I did, but I'm super bummed.
Speaker 1 (45:24):
Uh.
Speaker 6 (45:25):
Belgium took the lead just nine minutes into the match.
The US scored about twenty minutes later than it was
all Belgium from there.
Speaker 1 (45:32):
How does Belgium beat Us in anything?
Speaker 2 (45:34):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (45:34):
I mean they're good.
Speaker 1 (45:35):
Where's Belgium? It's over there, pointing out.
Speaker 2 (45:38):
On the map.
Speaker 1 (45:38):
Is it next to Mesquite?
Speaker 5 (45:40):
Where's close?
Speaker 1 (45:41):
It's by Germany? And we don't even care about your waffles?
What else they have?
Speaker 2 (45:46):
Yeah? We do chocolate beer? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (45:50):
All right, well you're not bad, but still soccer?
Speaker 2 (45:52):
Come on?
Speaker 1 (45:53):
Really, do we have to call it football now because
we lost?
Speaker 5 (45:55):
I don't know. I'm sad.
Speaker 2 (45:57):
I'm kind of bombed. I've gotten way way into the
World Cup and I did not think I was going to.
Speaker 5 (46:02):
I'm watching every match that's on. I just am. That's
just how it's been.
Speaker 1 (46:06):
So who are you gonna root for now? Because Mexico's out?
Speaker 5 (46:09):
I guess Spain?
Speaker 1 (46:10):
Really? Yeah, I can't.
Speaker 2 (46:11):
Believe Mexico's out too. I know my cousin. Who's that
the only black dude, the only dark Mexican on? Oh
really yeah, yes, that's my cousin.
Speaker 1 (46:21):
I don't know their names, yeah, I know, right, I know.
Speaker 2 (46:23):
I just know the Norway guy who's blond and looks
like a robot like a Viking. That guy that.
Speaker 6 (46:29):
He's got an epic ponytail though, Yeah, he's going all
the way with that ponytail.
Speaker 1 (46:33):
He's got a really good party tale, Yeah he does.
Speaker 2 (46:37):
I don't even know his name. I forget his name.
He's from Waa. No, he's says Norway.
Speaker 1 (46:41):
But he's from a Viking from Norway.
Speaker 6 (46:44):
No, man, if you're keeping up though, Argentina plays Egypt today,
that one starts at eleven o'clock.
Speaker 5 (46:50):
Guys.
Speaker 6 (46:50):
Springles is knowing viral this morning for their announcement that
they're going to be selling flavored hot dog buns.
Speaker 3 (46:56):
Uh.
Speaker 6 (46:56):
These are called Pringles pop dog buns. They're limited addition
line of potato based buns.
Speaker 5 (47:03):
They're infusing them with their chip flavors.
Speaker 1 (47:05):
Do we need this?
Speaker 5 (47:06):
I don't think so, but I'll try it.
Speaker 2 (47:08):
I mean exactly, I was thinking to myself, would I
eat this? Not a proud moment of my life? If
I had a Pringles flavored hot dog bun? Right, sour
cream that's.
Speaker 5 (47:19):
One of the flavors, I will go there.
Speaker 1 (47:21):
That's actually a genius idea. Why didn't I think of
this store?
Speaker 6 (47:24):
I don't know, but yeah, sour cream and onion is
one of the flavors, barbecue and honey mustard.
Speaker 5 (47:27):
They're not gonna sell them in stores though, it's online,
so you.
Speaker 6 (47:30):
Have to buy a three pack of chips and then
you get the three buns for free.
Speaker 5 (47:33):
And they come in the cans.
Speaker 1 (47:34):
Too, they do.
Speaker 6 (47:35):
Yeah, yeah, fit what one bun per can?
Speaker 1 (47:39):
Yeah? One bun per can? Yeah, I want more bonds.
Speaker 5 (47:43):
That's a big bun.
Speaker 6 (47:45):
If it's the same size as the chip can, that's
a large bun.
Speaker 2 (47:49):
Well that that is a large bun. I could fit
two in my can?
Speaker 5 (47:54):
You can?
Speaker 2 (47:55):
I mean if you had a pringles can, I feel
like you can fit two buns.
Speaker 5 (47:58):
You're gonna be all smushed. You want them to be
flat and one can't.
Speaker 2 (48:09):
Oh.
Speaker 5 (48:10):
The first drop of the buns.
Speaker 6 (48:11):
Is tomorrow, guys, and then the second drop will be
next Wednesday on National hot Dog Day.
Speaker 2 (48:15):
Let's order them. We have a big celebration coming up
for National hot Dog Day fifteen. So just how he
can fit in his mouth.
Speaker 5 (48:23):
Real quick, guys.
Speaker 6 (48:24):
That I remember that AI actress, her name's Tilly Norwood. Well,
she's going to make her feature film debut in a
movie called miss a Line. She's basically kind of playing herself.
She's an AI being in a digital world called the
Tilly Verse. I guess she gets convinced by a rogue
bot to develop her own ambition, so the more human
she becomes, the more famous she gets.
Speaker 4 (48:45):
Uh.
Speaker 6 (48:45):
They're saying this is going to be a hybrid production,
with a mix of directors, writers, and editors working.
Speaker 5 (48:50):
With AI specialists.
Speaker 6 (48:52):
They haven't said when this film would come out, But
I literally don't care because I will not watch this.
Speaker 2 (48:56):
You're not going to No, absolutely not. Your husband's and
actress taken way jobs.
Speaker 1 (49:00):
Now.
Speaker 5 (49:00):
We don't need an AI actress.
Speaker 2 (49:02):
We don't need it.
Speaker 1 (49:03):
To me, we don't need anything AI that involves the arts.
Speaker 2 (49:06):
Yeah, music, the arts, Yeah, there the whole point of
art to me, and music is human connection. Yeah, and
that's special. It's like our jobs, right, I mean yes,
could a robot do it? Yeah, we're idiots. Well, but
do you.
Speaker 1 (49:20):
Want a robot to do it?
Speaker 5 (49:22):
Will?
Speaker 1 (49:22):
It wouldn't be as ridiculous?
Speaker 5 (49:23):
No, not at all.
Speaker 1 (49:24):
It'd be too.
Speaker 6 (49:25):
Good, And they wouldn't have personal stories like this stuff
comes from personal experiences and human experiences.
Speaker 5 (49:31):
What do we need an AI actor for?
Speaker 2 (49:33):
I am not opposed to having like an ai poo.
Though I'm thinking about giving it.
Speaker 1 (49:37):
You can't have it's.
Speaker 2 (49:39):
So it'd be a lot cheaper though, to feed because
real poos he eats a lot of snacks that I paid.
Speaker 5 (49:49):
For the only benefit.
Speaker 2 (49:51):
Okay, well, I'll just get a whole soundboard poo the comments.
That's all I need to look. Oh, well I know this.
Speaker 5 (50:02):
All right. I'm Kiandoslopez. Those are your Texas top service.
Speaker 3 (50:05):
Oh that's a hot TAKEE. Let us know what you think.
Speaker 5 (50:08):
Here's today's hot take.
Speaker 2 (50:09):
Airport divorce a new relationship trend that I think is
absolutely awesome. Okay, I think this is the next big
trend that every couple should take up. And you tell
me what you think. Basically, what an airport divorce is
is you pretty much from security on your single Okay,
you go your separate ways, and you tell me what
(50:32):
you think about this, because it's definitely something that you know,
some couples will love, some people won't. Yeah, but from
the checkpoint on, from TSA on, I would say, going
into the checkpoint your divorce, couples are doing this to
where you go get your own snacks, You go your
own way, you do what you want to do. I'm
gonna do what I want to do, and I'll meet
you at the gate, and then we sit next to
each other whatever if you want to. Sometimes couples don't
(50:55):
even sit next to each other. I want to sit
next to the person.
Speaker 5 (50:58):
Yeah, of course, But.
Speaker 2 (50:59):
I will say this airport divorce would have saved a
couple of my relationships.
Speaker 6 (51:02):
Well, I mean, you don't actually know someone until you've
traveled with them, so but if you divorce in the airport,
that you don't actually know what it's like to travel
with them, so at least experience it once.
Speaker 2 (51:12):
Okay, that's fair. You now one time you want to
do it. You want to travel like a normal couple.
It's so stupid. Yeah right, it's so annoying. I hate
the way most people travel. I can't stand because everyone
I've ever been with they want to get to the
airport like an hour before. No, we're fine, we can
leave now. No, we're leaving two hours. Oh if you
(51:33):
leave it up to me, I'm getting the airport three
hours early.
Speaker 6 (51:35):
Oh wow, that's extreme. I mean, if you like to
hit the bars and have a mimosa, do your vacation thing, like,
I'm down for that.
Speaker 2 (51:44):
If I'm traveling alone and it's whatever, and I'm going
to go somewhere for work or something.
Speaker 1 (51:47):
Yeah, okay, cool, I'll get there an hour and a half.
Speaker 2 (51:49):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (51:50):
If I'm to wake up early though, to get to
early to the airport, I'm not doing.
Speaker 1 (51:53):
Oh who's booking their flights at six am on vacation?
Not me?
Speaker 6 (51:56):
I mean some people are. Let's get out of here
as soon as we can.
Speaker 2 (51:59):
No, you're on vacation.
Speaker 6 (52:01):
Yeah, no, I'm one o'clock my destination.
Speaker 2 (52:07):
We're having a travel divorce. Yeah, we're not even in
the airport divorce. We're already broken up.
Speaker 5 (52:11):
Yeah, for sure.
Speaker 6 (52:12):
We kind of did this on our trip when we
were coming back from New York because I had to
take Enzo to.
Speaker 5 (52:18):
The bathroom as soon as we got there.
Speaker 6 (52:20):
We were about to check our bags, and then Eric
checks him in and then we went through and then
split up because then he needed to find the bathroom,
so he did that. We got snacks and water, met
up on the plane.
Speaker 5 (52:29):
It was great.
Speaker 2 (52:30):
What kind of snacks do you get? I could tell
we would travel together.
Speaker 5 (52:32):
Well, Well, I got Erica's charcootery board.
Speaker 1 (52:35):
I got some cliff bars. Not a bug.
Speaker 5 (52:38):
It wasn't a board.
Speaker 6 (52:39):
Sorry, it was like a little pack, like a little
plastic pack of like you know, crackers, pepper.
Speaker 5 (52:46):
Seeing them.
Speaker 1 (52:47):
They haven't got Starbucks, so that's fair.
Speaker 6 (52:51):
Get well, he got a cliff bar and I don't
remember what.
Speaker 1 (52:54):
Else we got what candy did to get?
Speaker 5 (52:56):
No candy he got?
Speaker 2 (53:00):
Why not came in because.
Speaker 6 (53:02):
We had already had all the treats all week we
were coming home.
Speaker 5 (53:06):
What about on the way there, he had the bisc
the pretzels. Ye, everything they gave us.
Speaker 2 (53:12):
Okay, you gotta have some candy to travel, even I've
been even well lately, and I still got to get
me like sour patch kids or something for the flights.
Speaker 5 (53:19):
Yes, but they are sugared up and you got to
sit in your seatbelt. It's awful. You need a chill on.
Speaker 2 (53:24):
The on the plane.
Speaker 3 (53:25):
Snacks.
Speaker 1 (53:26):
You didn't get him snacks to go on the plane.
Speaker 5 (53:27):
Yeah, we got cliff bars. You had the charcuter All.
Speaker 2 (53:30):
Right, here you go, and so Mama brought you ahead
of Lettuce cliff barod.
Speaker 7 (53:39):
I mean, I'm at the airport. I'm loading up on
the sour badge kids.
Speaker 2 (53:42):
I want some some kind of peanuts pretzels all kinds.
Speaker 5 (53:46):
Of had some like trail mixed packs.
Speaker 2 (53:48):
Chill trailed. You get the trail mixed with nomine. Well
they had Brussels sprout. You get the Oregon trail trail mine.
It's dried up Brussels spout. It's good.
Speaker 1 (54:03):
All right, eat your fried kale. Come on, mom, that's
all we're on vacation. Dehydrated cranberries.
Speaker 2 (54:11):
Yeah, organic raisins. Let this kid live. Listen, Uncle Billy
needs to take me. Let him travel with us.
Speaker 6 (54:22):
Lollipops, yeah, cookies, cakes, like four cakes last week.
Speaker 2 (54:27):
Okay. Oh, So the point is, though the airport divorce
would be real if we were you know what to
I think I traveled with Pooh more than I have
any other woman.
Speaker 6 (54:34):
Yeah yeah, but he doesn't have to TSA PREX, so
you got a divorce.
Speaker 2 (54:39):
No, I would divorce. Now, that's a good question if
one person in the relationship has t S A pre
check and you don't, like I have clear some people,
don't you know he do when we travel.
Speaker 7 (54:50):
All right, I'll see you later because he gets that,
and I'll be in that long line.
Speaker 1 (54:55):
I'd be like, that's on you.
Speaker 2 (54:56):
That is.
Speaker 5 (54:59):
Sign up for t thank you just take the time
to do it now.
Speaker 2 (55:04):
If I'm in a relationship and she doesn't have pre
check or clear, then wait, yes.
Speaker 5 (55:13):
The first trip.
Speaker 7 (55:15):
I'm not with you like that, I know, but you
could wait with me and just talk like I had
to wait. You left me hanging in the long Yes,
and you just went through. You're already at tz O
Fridays or whatever.
Speaker 1 (55:26):
He to do it again, and I'm like, dang, I
didn't have to take my shoes off.
Speaker 2 (55:31):
I got escorated to the front of the line.
Speaker 1 (55:33):
Perfect, who's out there half naked?
Speaker 5 (55:36):
If Eric had died and I didn't, I'd be like,
go ahead, just do it, use it all. Wait, it's fine.
Why we both have to suffer?
Speaker 2 (55:43):
Okay, you would not. I would, and you know you
would say that, and then if he did, he'd be like, oh, really,
you're gonna leave me?
Speaker 1 (55:49):
You know you give him the side out if you
let that's.
Speaker 5 (55:55):
Fair.
Speaker 1 (55:58):
I love that song Olivia Dean. Didn't that song just
make you happy? Oh yeah, what a good vibe. It's
mixed one on two point nine. Pooh, stop doing that.
Speaker 2 (56:05):
I liked.
Speaker 1 (56:07):
I like Olivia Dean though, right in my ear every
time I talk about food or Olivia Dean or something
like that.
Speaker 5 (56:15):
Yeah, you're right.
Speaker 2 (56:16):
Okay, Pooh handed me this list, and I'm like, maybe
we could talk about it, because well, who's an expert
at faking it till you make it? Of course? And
he said, here's some rich people things people online are
talking about rich people things that aren't.
Speaker 1 (56:26):
Actually that expensive.
Speaker 2 (56:29):
So things that and you know, I love a good
list for sure, course, things that you could basically you
want to feel rich, you can do this kind of
stuff and by these kind of things. But you know,
maybe you're not Highland Park status. Yeah, none of us are.
Or south Lake status or south Lake status. Yeah, ooh
Southlake it looks like it's a foreign country. Oh, it's
(56:52):
so good this time of year, it's so nice. Okay,
what about this? Now this says art exhibits. Oh, does
kind of make sense?
Speaker 3 (57:01):
Right?
Speaker 2 (57:01):
And we you know, Dallas has one of the biggest
art districts in the United States, really yes, and nobody
utilizes I feel like nobody goes to half our art
museums that we have, and a lot of them are free.
Speaker 5 (57:13):
Yeah, so that's where during the summer, And would.
Speaker 2 (57:16):
That be a good date because Pooh, if you're talking
about going on a date with this girl that you're
talking about earlier whatever, some girl you mentioned, right, Yeah, wouldn't.
Speaker 1 (57:24):
That be a good date? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (57:26):
I told her there would be a good date. Well
I got the hook up.
Speaker 1 (57:28):
You know, my little sister free anyway, she works there.
Speaker 2 (57:33):
She's on the board. Yeah, she's on the arts board.
Speaker 1 (57:35):
Of course she is. She's great. What happened? How did
Morgan turn out the way she?
Speaker 2 (57:43):
She speaks five languages, she's an art expert, got cultured
and then pooh, like I just sam, I don't know
what happened. It just makes me wonder. Yeah, okay, anyway,
so you can go to art exhibit if you want
to feel rich. But it's not that expensive that somebody
(58:06):
else said. Hiring a monthly house cleaner is something that's
not that expensive.
Speaker 1 (58:11):
But if you want to feel rich, Yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (58:14):
Is that. I think it's pretty expensive. It can't be.
Speaker 5 (58:17):
Yeah, it depends.
Speaker 2 (58:19):
To come clean my apartment. But me really yeah, oh no,
I would love someone to come clean. Yeah, I want
I have someone come every once in a while. Oh,
it's the best feeling in the world. Really, Yes, are
you kidding me? Why wouldn't you? And I've seen your apartment.
Speaker 1 (58:36):
I've seen the pictures. Actually it's really clean, yeah, he says.
Speaker 5 (58:43):
I mean we've never been to his apartment. He keeps
the studios clean.
Speaker 1 (58:46):
Yeah, I mean that's debatable.
Speaker 2 (58:49):
Up.
Speaker 5 (58:50):
You know what he cleans our friend?
Speaker 1 (58:52):
Yeah, well he's the only when he uses it.
Speaker 2 (58:55):
Okay, here's another rich people thing that isn't that expensive
plain tennis.
Speaker 5 (59:00):
Oh okay, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 6 (59:02):
There was something always fancy about people who played tennis.
Speaker 5 (59:05):
Yeah, little tennis skirts.
Speaker 1 (59:07):
Yeah, because they go to the country club.
Speaker 2 (59:10):
Well, I don't know about playing tennis at the country club.
Then you'll probably have to pay for something.
Speaker 5 (59:13):
Okay, yeah, no, no, that's for rich people.
Speaker 1 (59:15):
But yeah, but that's good networking too. If you can't
play golf, that's true. Tennis is good network.
Speaker 2 (59:21):
So where am I gonna play Brian Adams.
Speaker 1 (59:23):
High school and be like, yeah, yeah, I just go
to the high school, right, who cares? There's probably tennis
sports everywhere. Okay, but I guess I don't know if
rich people play there. You're right, yeah, all right, we'll
sneak into a country club.
Speaker 5 (59:33):
But you feel like it once you're playing.
Speaker 2 (59:36):
Yeah, if you squint, yeah, it makes you feel like
you're somewhere else. And the girls I date, I don't
think they wear tennis skirts, so oh.
Speaker 5 (59:43):
What in tennis skirts? Not even playing tennis these days?
Speaker 1 (59:51):
You need a girl that will play tennis or do something.
I do need to be She need to be active. Okay,
you need to be active, act together?
Speaker 2 (59:59):
Yeah active? Okay? What about this a rich people thing
that's not Now I don't know about this. They say,
here's a rich person thing that's not that expensive? Salmon?
Speaker 5 (01:00:09):
Salmon is expensive.
Speaker 2 (01:00:11):
I was like, I think it is expensive.
Speaker 5 (01:00:13):
The can, I guess.
Speaker 3 (01:00:16):
Can.
Speaker 1 (01:00:16):
What in the mesquite is going on?
Speaker 2 (01:00:18):
They have can salmon?
Speaker 1 (01:00:19):
Of course, I'm not doing that salmon. You're eating cans salmon?
Speaker 5 (01:00:23):
Come I could.
Speaker 6 (01:00:24):
I did back in the day when I was counting
macros macros.
Speaker 5 (01:00:28):
When I was on a diet.
Speaker 7 (01:00:30):
The only macros I know about his macaroni and cheese.
About no macro who counts as macros?
Speaker 3 (01:00:38):
Okay?
Speaker 1 (01:00:38):
You would eat it out of a can?
Speaker 2 (01:00:39):
No? Okay?
Speaker 5 (01:00:41):
Yeah, or make like stuff out of it.
Speaker 2 (01:00:42):
I loves acting like he's above it. But it'll eat
Vienna sausages out of a can. You can meet before
he can fish.
Speaker 7 (01:00:49):
Not can salmon. No, I'm not doing that. I'll spurge
for a salmon file and now would you cook it?
Speaker 3 (01:00:55):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (01:00:56):
I grill it. Grill that bad boy with some onion
cilantro boy, don't and now I could grill some Sam.
Speaker 2 (01:01:01):
Here we go. Yeah, we saw your sour dough. Yeah,
I know my sourdough needs help. But Sam and the
sour dough actually look like Sam?
Speaker 1 (01:01:12):
How that happens? Kansas?
Speaker 2 (01:01:14):
Man, I've never seen the close up of Australia. Your
sour dough attempt did look like a country. And it
was so bad that I couldn't even tell if it
was cooked or not same. I'm like, is this cooked?
Speaker 1 (01:01:30):
Do or is it not cooked?
Speaker 2 (01:01:31):
I was trying to prove it so to poof up.
Speaker 5 (01:01:33):
It was on a cutting board.
Speaker 1 (01:01:36):
I don't know how to make it, so I'm not
gonna lie.
Speaker 3 (01:01:38):
But I know like that.
Speaker 7 (01:01:42):
It's Texas Top stories on the Tents with Billy's Kid
in the morning only on the.
Speaker 5 (01:01:46):
New Mixed one or two point nine.
Speaker 2 (01:01:48):
We're long going on this morning on a Tuesday, Cannas
slow past. What's up? Well?
Speaker 6 (01:01:52):
Cases of a stomach bug linked to a parasite are
showing up in Texas. At least two cases have been
reported in Didn't County, but health officials say more infections
maybe out there, they just aren't getting reported.
Speaker 5 (01:02:03):
I'm seeing this described.
Speaker 6 (01:02:05):
Awfully all over social media.
Speaker 5 (01:02:08):
We're not going to describe it that way. But it's
a stomach bug.
Speaker 1 (01:02:10):
It's a stomach bug that they're describing as And I
hate that D word. Oh yeah, it makes me sick.
Speaker 6 (01:02:16):
Yeah, even in the pepto commercial, right yeah, yeah, and
they sing.
Speaker 5 (01:02:20):
It and I still don't like it.
Speaker 1 (01:02:21):
Oh upset stomachs. Yeah, you know, I won't say it.
Speaker 2 (01:02:24):
No, I don't want to say it. But to me,
the worst part about this story is they always put
a certain word ahead of the D word.
Speaker 5 (01:02:32):
Right, Like, is that's assumed we get it.
Speaker 2 (01:02:35):
We don't need to know. Yeah, we don't need Okay,
I'll say it. We don't need the word explosive.
Speaker 5 (01:02:40):
No, why, yeah, we get it for sure.
Speaker 1 (01:02:44):
We've all had it. Yeah, it's not fun.
Speaker 2 (01:02:48):
But what scared me is they were like, this is
an epidemic and then Canna tells me there's like eleven
cases of it.
Speaker 6 (01:02:53):
Well, seventeen states are reporting cases. Texas has between eleven
and thirty cases since May one.
Speaker 5 (01:03:00):
I know, but when you put that word and all
those things in the news. People pay attention because nobody wants.
Speaker 1 (01:03:06):
That I've survived drunk late nights at Taco Bell.
Speaker 2 (01:03:10):
We're gonna be okay.
Speaker 6 (01:03:12):
But let me tell you the foods that are laying
to these outbreaks, just in case. Bagged salad mixes, fresh cilantro,
fresh basil, raspberry snow peas.
Speaker 5 (01:03:22):
And green onions.
Speaker 2 (01:03:23):
Raspberries.
Speaker 5 (01:03:24):
Yeah, that's a big one for me because I just
I don't like him anymore.
Speaker 2 (01:03:28):
I'm over raspberries, Yeah, because I don't want to have
to shave my fruit.
Speaker 5 (01:03:32):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:03:32):
They're hairy, they are.
Speaker 5 (01:03:34):
I mean, they're kind of fuzzy. You're right, some of
them are.
Speaker 1 (01:03:38):
The raspberries I just got are fuzzy, wally, fuzzier than normal.
Speaker 7 (01:03:42):
My kids just ate some raspberries, but they weren't they
were in a little plastic container.
Speaker 5 (01:03:45):
They weren't frozen ones.
Speaker 2 (01:03:47):
Yeah. Oh yeah, maybe.
Speaker 5 (01:03:49):
I'll do that, I know. Yeah. Anyways, that's what that's
that's all about.
Speaker 1 (01:03:53):
All right, nothing but good news today, cannie things.
Speaker 6 (01:03:56):
Well, I need to give you a heads up though,
because the Texas Department of Trains Exportation is launching Operation
slow Down next week. So this is a statewide initiative
focusing on public education and speed enforcement going from July
eighteenth through August second, So you can expect a significant
increase in law enforcement presence during this time. They're gonna
(01:04:17):
be targeting speeders and aggressive drivers. Yeah, so on top
of giving citations, police vehicles will also actively pace traffic.
So they're basically just going to drive the exact speed
limits to try to keep you guys.
Speaker 1 (01:04:29):
You know what, if I'm speeding because I'm explosive, you know.
Speaker 5 (01:04:33):
What, well, keep on going.
Speaker 2 (01:04:35):
Yeah, okay, bubbles.
Speaker 5 (01:04:38):
I mean that's your excuse during operation slow down.
Speaker 1 (01:04:41):
That doesn't work.
Speaker 2 (01:04:42):
It does not work for guys that one that you
just said, no exploit if No, I've been pulled over
and I'm like sorry, I had to use the resturm
and he's like, well you better be safe.
Speaker 5 (01:04:51):
I have to say the D word.
Speaker 2 (01:04:53):
No, I'm not saying.
Speaker 5 (01:04:54):
Well, then you're not getting out of your ticket.
Speaker 2 (01:04:55):
I you ever get out of tickets anyway? Okay, girls
get out of tickets.
Speaker 1 (01:04:59):
Yeah, don't always. You're the biggest speeder on the show.
I really know because I've driven with you.
Speaker 5 (01:05:05):
Yea in a long time.
Speaker 1 (01:05:07):
I was on the listen, I won't even get on
the tollway with you.
Speaker 6 (01:05:10):
Oh my gosh, that's actually the toll way one of
the you know, places you're likely to see more patrols.
I thirty five seventy five of the Dallas nor toll way.
Speaker 5 (01:05:18):
So no, it's not on the list.
Speaker 1 (01:05:21):
But now I'm good. Why would they tell you a
list of where they're going to be?
Speaker 3 (01:05:24):
Oh, what about?
Speaker 1 (01:05:25):
What about thirty No, it.
Speaker 6 (01:05:26):
Was just those three that they said are like Bush,
highly likely to see more you.
Speaker 2 (01:05:31):
Oh, you ain't on, George Bush, go on, George Bster Preston,
Rod Preston, I know you ain't paying the toll.
Speaker 5 (01:05:39):
Guys.
Speaker 6 (01:05:39):
Ashley Tisdale says she's developing a comedy series for Netflix
called Toxic Moms. This is inspired by the drama that
happened earlier this year. Remember she put out that article
called breaking Up with My Toxic Mom Group. It was
talking about how she basically got kicked out of the
Hollywood Mom group. So in the show, it's basically, you know,
one mom who isn't getting invited into the circle of
(01:06:02):
affluent moms are not as supportive as they.
Speaker 5 (01:06:04):
Seem to be. Ashley will star in the show.
Speaker 6 (01:06:07):
Ali Wong will also star, But I'm sure there's gonna
be characters loosely based around the moms in her actual
mom group, who would have been people like Hillary Duff.
Speaker 5 (01:06:16):
Mandy Moore, Megan Trainer.
Speaker 6 (01:06:18):
Who she said, you know, basically excluded her from events.
Speaker 1 (01:06:21):
Was she trying to say that Hillary Duff was the
mean mom?
Speaker 4 (01:06:23):
She was?
Speaker 6 (01:06:23):
She didn't say specifically who the mean mom was, but
it was a group. But when you go back and
scroll social media, it's like her with Mandy Moore and
Hillary Enuff and Megan Trainer and all these.
Speaker 1 (01:06:32):
You know, maybe if they kicked her on, maybe she's
the mean one.
Speaker 6 (01:06:35):
Well that's kind of what they were saying, like maybe
the problems you so, we don't know.
Speaker 1 (01:06:39):
We're not in the group. But the moms in your
group chats get wild.
Speaker 5 (01:06:42):
Well some of them do, yeah, some of them. Always
a side chat.
Speaker 2 (01:06:46):
Yeah, that's the thing. There's a side chat, and then
there's a side chat, and then sometimes you find out
there's a side.
Speaker 6 (01:06:50):
Chat without you, right, did you know you got taken
out of the chat.
Speaker 2 (01:06:53):
And it's like, what, guys don't deal with that?
Speaker 5 (01:06:56):
Well, that's nice.
Speaker 2 (01:06:57):
We're just having explosive stuff and that's all right.
Speaker 5 (01:07:00):
That's toxic too.
Speaker 2 (01:07:02):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:07:02):
Yeah, I'm Cando slow Pez. Those are your in Texas
top stories. Off, get it off, yours to comments. You'll
feel better.
Speaker 1 (01:07:11):
Welcome to the Dirty Little Secret.
Speaker 2 (01:07:13):
It makes one of two point nine ability kid Candy
slow Pants producer Pooh, your secrets, your confessions. Anytime you
want you just call us eight three three seven eight
seven one oh two nine. We'll set it up. If
you can't go on right that minute, we'll figure it out.
We'll just get you on so you can confess and
get it off your chest. And you never know what
you're gonna get on Dirty Little Secret. This one is
a different one, So what's going on.
Speaker 3 (01:07:34):
It's weird.
Speaker 5 (01:07:35):
You know.
Speaker 8 (01:07:35):
I never really talk about it publicly because the few
people that I did tell they just kind of look
at me like I'm describing with the Netflix documentary.
Speaker 2 (01:07:43):
Wow.
Speaker 3 (01:07:43):
Okay, So I found out in my early twenties that
my entire life was basically built on a lie. The
people that I thought were my parents were actually my grandparents,
and the woman I thought.
Speaker 1 (01:07:57):
Was me hold on, yeah, yeah, hold on.
Speaker 2 (01:07:59):
You said the people that you thought were your parents
were actually your grandparents, whoa correct Okay.
Speaker 3 (01:08:07):
The woman I thought was my older sister, she was
my mother.
Speaker 2 (01:08:12):
These just yeah, I know, gave me the weirdest like creeps.
Speaker 5 (01:08:16):
Yeah, it does feel like your whole life's a lie.
Speaker 1 (01:08:18):
That's and it does sound like a Netflix special. Yeah
i'd watch it, well, I would that.
Speaker 2 (01:08:23):
Okay, what tell me? I mean how I don't even
I'm rarely speechless.
Speaker 3 (01:08:30):
How Okay? So like growing up, nothing really seemed that unusual.
My parents were older, like older than most of my
friend's parents, but not so much older that I questioned it.
Speaker 2 (01:08:41):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:08:42):
They were really strict and private people, like not exactly
the type you sat down with and had big conversations with,
you know, So I never really asked a lot of questions.
So the woman I thought was my sister, she wasn't
around very much. She'd like pop in and out every
now and then, and it disappear for a long time,
and nobody ever told me why. It all makes sense now,
(01:09:03):
of course. So she struggled with addiction for most of
her life. And what I didn't know was that she
had me when she was only sixteen. Wow. Okay, yeah,
so my grand my grandparents parents got legal custody of
me and adopted.
Speaker 2 (01:09:20):
Me really Okay, which happens, I mean this, but usually
it does play out to where they say they're the
they're the parents, right, That's the part that got me.
Speaker 3 (01:09:30):
I mean they kept that secret for years and the
only reason I ever found out was because my grandfather
got really sick and as he got worse, he told
my grandmother that he couldn't pass away without telling me
the truth.
Speaker 1 (01:09:44):
Oh man, okay, so you eventually find out?
Speaker 5 (01:09:48):
And how did they tell you?
Speaker 1 (01:09:50):
Like, how does that even go down?
Speaker 2 (01:09:51):
I know? Right?
Speaker 3 (01:09:52):
So like one night they sat me down, like we
have something to tell you, and I'm like, oh, they're
gonna tell me he doesn't have a lot of time left,
you know. Instead, they totally changed my life. And I
really honestly don't remember that much. After hearing those words,
like you're actually were actually your grandparents, everything just kind
of a blur and like, you know, all of a sudden,
every memory you have feels different.
Speaker 2 (01:10:13):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:10:14):
Yeah, because you'd questioned, everything got to be in shock.
Speaker 3 (01:10:17):
Yeah, Like every photo, every holiday, every conversation, it's like
somebody hand to meet some new script of my own
life and told me I've been reading the wrong one.
The whole time, you know, and you.
Speaker 2 (01:10:27):
Never really had any kind of like a red flag
pop up, like, Okay, well that was weird. Like when
you look back now, it's probably easier because hindsight's twenty twenty.
Speaker 3 (01:10:36):
Yes, yes there were clues. A few years earlier, my mom,
my biological mom, passed away from an overdose, and at
the time I thought I had lost my sister. But
what was weird was like how quickly everything happened. There
really wasn't a funeral, no big gathering or anything, just
a small celebration of life with like immediate family. And
(01:10:58):
I remember feeling like people were grieving like way harder
than I understood.
Speaker 1 (01:11:04):
And now I know why.
Speaker 3 (01:11:05):
Like I don't hate my grandparents for what they did,
but I mean they honestly, they saved me from a
pretty hard upbringing. You know. They gave me stability and
a home and a chance at a normal life that
I wouldn't have had, you know.
Speaker 2 (01:11:18):
Right, But still it's a lot to feel. Just just
the thought of being lied to for a long time
isn't settling, right, you know.
Speaker 3 (01:11:26):
Yeah, it's messed up. It messed me up.
Speaker 2 (01:11:28):
You know, That's what I was going to ask you like,
did is this something that you're still dealing with obviously?
Speaker 3 (01:11:34):
Yeah, I mean it's like hard to explain, Like you
learn your entire identity isn't exactly what you thought it was.
And I've spent a lot of time and therapy trying
to figure it out and process it. And like my
father's gone now, my grandmother doesn't really like talking about
any of it. Most questions I ask are like I
get short answers or like total silence. Really, yeah, I
(01:11:55):
still have a lot of questions. A lot of stuff
is missing, and you know that's the hardest part. I
think I probably never know.
Speaker 2 (01:12:01):
Yeah, and yeah, and it's personal obviously for your grandma
or your mom. Gosh, like what do you even say now?
You thought she was your mother. She's your grandmother, but
your grandma, you know, you can still call her mom? Okay, Yeah,
I mean yeah, yeah, I do, right, And but yeah,
to have your mother pass away so you can't ask
her questions about it, Yeah, that's a lot.
Speaker 1 (01:12:22):
Wow, what a powerful secret.
Speaker 2 (01:12:24):
Well, it sounds like you turned out good and as
crazy as it is, it probably built a lot of
character for you. And and you know, you learn a
lot from yourself when you go through stuff like this unfortunately, Yeah,
but you do so well. Thank you for sharing that.
I really appreciate that, and I hope it works out
for you and maybe you get some of the answers
that you want and that you need.
Speaker 1 (01:12:45):
Really, thank you and good luck with everything. Okay, thank
you again.
Speaker 2 (01:12:49):
All right, thinks tell me that's not a Netflix special
for sure. Imagine you go your whole life and all
of a sudden you're grown up and you find that out.
Do you find out in your twenties that your grandma
is your mom or.
Speaker 5 (01:13:00):
Your Yeah, yeah, everything's changed.
Speaker 2 (01:13:03):
Your mom is your grandma? Yeah, and you're shocking and
your sister was your mom? Oh, dad is crazy mixed
one on two point nine and we're about to get
out of here. It's peeling a kid, Candice low Pants producer, Pooh,
have a great day. Thank you so much for having
a son, for listening, for putting up with us, for
dealing with our bull craft and all that good stuff.
Speaker 1 (01:13:23):
Candice, what do you got going on today?
Speaker 6 (01:13:24):
I think I'm going for a bike ride today. Yeah,
and so wanted to go for a bike ride yesterday,
but Eric was wanting to go for a run and
we had to move the cars to get the bikes down.
Speaker 5 (01:13:32):
It was a whole thing, so we couldn't.
Speaker 1 (01:13:34):
It makes me want to go for a bike ride.
Speaker 2 (01:13:36):
Yeah, I was just thinking about, like I got to
get on my bike, and I even bought an extra
bike so Poho would ride the bike with me. Yeah,
and I don't know.
Speaker 1 (01:13:44):
You asked him, where is the right bikes in my garage?
Speaker 2 (01:13:48):
Is a bike? No, it's not an you see what
I'm saying. Is it an e bike? No it's not.
It's not any bike.
Speaker 5 (01:13:58):
Ride your bike today?
Speaker 1 (01:13:59):
Yeah, but I gotta wait to later on. It's too
hot out to that's hot.
Speaker 3 (01:14:02):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:14:02):
It's like I like walk my dog to get you know, exercise,
but I can't even do that because it's too hot.
Speaker 3 (01:14:08):
I know.
Speaker 2 (01:14:08):
And you know how you make sure because you got
to be careful in this heat. Is I go barefoot
on the concrete?
Speaker 3 (01:14:13):
You do?
Speaker 2 (01:14:14):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (01:14:14):
I thought you're supposed put the back of your hand
on the concrete.
Speaker 2 (01:14:17):
Well, no, my feet are pretty much like bare hands. Okay,
that's a weird flex either way, I do that. And
if it's too hot for me, then it's too hot
for my dog. Okay, there, trigger.
Speaker 1 (01:14:27):
Don't have those little shoes, those dog shoes. Yeah he does,
but he doesn't.
Speaker 5 (01:14:31):
It's too hot.
Speaker 1 (01:14:32):
Though he doesn't like to wear them.
Speaker 5 (01:14:34):
It matches all.
Speaker 2 (01:14:37):
Right, we'll see them out. I have a great day.
