Have you ever canceled plans because nothing in your closet felt right and was that a red flag or total honesty?

This morning on Billy The Kidd In The Morning, Billy, Candice Lopez, and Producer Pooh dive into a surprisingly relatable dating dilemma that sparks a passionate edition of Candice Court. When a woman cancels a date at the last minute because she doesn't feel confident in any of her outfits, the crew debates whether that's a warning sign for the future or a refreshing example of emotional honesty.

The conversation gets even deeper during a powerful Dirty Little Secret, when a former teacher reveals a confession that's haunted her for years. After being pressured to pass the failing child of a famous athlete, she made a decision that changed how she viewed herself and ultimately influenced her career. It's one of the most emotional and thought-provoking moments of the show.

The crew also sounds off on the viral controversy surrounding Jennifer Lopez's twins receiving college scholarships, despite their famous parents' wealth. Do merit-based scholarships still belong to students from privileged backgrounds, or should those opportunities go to families who need the financial help most?

Elsewhere, Billy shares his latest road-rage adventure after a reckless driver chipped his windshield, Producer Pooh confidently claims he could score on a World Cup goalkeeper, and the show somehow ends up debating sunscreen on eyelids, the bottoms of your feet, and whether water shoes will ever be cool.

A former teacher calls in with a confession she's carried for years and it's one she still struggles to forgive herself for.

Be sure to subscribe to Billy The Kidd In The Morning so you never miss the biggest confessions, funniest moments, and hottest debates from Billy, Candice Lopez, and Producer Pooh. If you enjoyed this episode, leave a review, share it with a friend, and join the conversation on social media.

And if you've got a secret you've been holding onto for years, you never know your story could be featured in a future edition of Dirty Little Secrets. Tune in, laugh with us, and remember: what happens on Dirty Little Secrets stays on Dirty Little Secrets... unless it's too good not to share

Speaker 5 (00:37):
It was interesting? It was good.

Speaker 6 (00:39):
Yeah, I had like sent kind of some down moments
and some up moments. But the up moments were that
I had cousins in town from Houston this weekend and
brought their kids and I hadn't seen them in four years.

Speaker 5 (00:51):
All the kids are taller than me. It was like
unbelievable how much these kids have grown in a few years.

Speaker 1 (00:57):
You're also not six foot tall.

Speaker 2 (00:59):
No, I know, but that's like I can't believe it.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
They're all taller.

Speaker 5 (01:03):
Last time I saw them, they were just like little kids.

Speaker 6 (01:05):
Now like they're going into high school, going into middle
school and life.

Speaker 5 (01:09):
Just happened so fast. But I had such a.

Speaker 6 (01:10):
Good, like kind of like cousin family reunion yesterday, cool,
which was, yeah, the highlight of my weekend.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
Good you have you know, big family like that. Yeah,
I guess, yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:22):
No it is. I love it.

Speaker 6 (01:23):
Like I grew up close to my cousins when we
were in the ski together, and so it's just awesome
that we got to grow up so close and we're
still close as adults, and I just, you know, I
wish I could see it more often.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
But well, good, Now you said you had some down moments.
I'm a little bit curious you can't just mention the
down moments and then that talking about yeah.

Speaker 6 (01:39):
You know, just kind of one of those days where
you just feel disappointed by people and you're just kind
of like in your head about it, life feels about it.

Speaker 5 (01:47):
Just kind of had one of those moments.

Speaker 6 (01:49):
So I'm glad that the weekend ended on a high
note for me. Okay, but I did want to say
real quick hi to Junior, who d end this morning
before five am and said he needs our energy this
morning because he's driving his family back from El Paso.
So they're all listening this morning, So Junior from crandall,
good morning.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
We got you.

Speaker 6 (02:11):
If you're interested, we're pounding coffee in here. We're gonna
do our best.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
Junior, I got a promise seventeen cups this morning, and
I'm still not away. I woke up randomly at three
Oh yeah, randomly at three am.

Speaker 1 (02:23):
I don't know if I have a pair of menopause
or whatever you have.

Speaker 5 (02:25):
Oh yeah, I woke up I think every hour last night.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
Did I catch it from you?

Speaker 7 (02:29):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (02:29):
I would love to pass it to you for sure.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
Oh that was rude.

Speaker 5 (02:35):
I would I don't know.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
I just randomly woke up and I couldn't go to bed.
And then I woke up and I was like, I
feel good. I just need a little extra coffee because
I feel like I'm gonna crash.

Speaker 5 (02:42):
Okay, I'm already jittery.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
Oh you are?

Speaker 6 (02:44):
Oh yeah, I don't know what the caffeine is changing
around here in my God.

Speaker 2 (02:48):
I love that feeling. No I do. I don't know
why I do.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
So we're trying to get hYP for Junior driving back.

Speaker 2 (02:54):
Yeah right now, Producer Poo's here.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
I don't know if he's had any coffee.

Speaker 8 (02:58):
No, no coffee yet. Do you all to be proud
of me? How do you do that? First of all,
that's not normal.

Speaker 5 (03:04):
You haven't had coffee at all?

Speaker 1 (03:05):
No, I was going to get some, but I just
you haven't had any coffee.

Speaker 5 (03:09):

You have coffee immediately?

Speaker 2 (03:24):
No, No, I usually get it before.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
This just proves my theory that we know nothing about Perry.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
What do you mean he's either a superhuman or just super?
I don't know, yeah, super just weird. How do you
know that's the first guy have to do any morning? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (03:42):
Get up when we do? I need coffee. I can't
even function.

Speaker 5 (03:44):
Yeah, exactly, he's out here.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
Just what what are you drinking? Water? Yeah?

Speaker 5 (03:48):
I mean that's really the smart movie.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
Here we go. I try to knock out a.

Speaker 5 (03:52):
Bottle of water.

Speaker 8 (03:55):
Knock out a bottle of water, and then before we
start to show. I usually get a couple of coffee.

Speaker 5 (03:59):
That's healthy. That I didn't They say you should give your.

Speaker 6 (04:02):
Body like an hour hour and a half before you Well.

Speaker 1 (04:07):
A well, y'all be speaking of y'all will be proud
of me.

Speaker 8 (04:11):
Yesterday I went shopping at Firewheel and then I walked
right past antie ends and I didn't even go get none.

Speaker 5 (04:17):
Whoa, And I'm gonna tell you.

Speaker 2 (04:22):

Speaker 1 (04:24):
Wow, that is impressive because.

Speaker 8 (04:26):
I know I know how crackheads feel, because I'm telling you,
I started twitching itching. I was just like, oh, really,
I could just get some and just devourum.

Speaker 1 (04:35):
But I know if I get one, I'm gonna get two.

Speaker 8 (04:41):

they had the sale going on.

Speaker 5 (05:01):

They got to know. And I even got you.

Speaker 8 (05:08):

They got a new cent called Football Season.

Speaker 2 (05:12):

Speaker 8 (05:14):

be like okay, I don't want to got uh teak sweat,
teakwood mahogany. I got this apple pie one, and then
I had to get the cactus blossom and then this
other one called extreme no actual goodness.

Speaker 6 (05:31):

Speaker 2 (05:35):
Yeah, they had to buy one, get one free.

Speaker 1 (05:36):
Nice Yeah, burn them all at once.

Speaker 2 (05:43):
It's funny because I was in the mall and I
passed any Ann's and I thought of poo. But my
son and I were at the mall. We were at
Stonebrier and it was like packed. The malls are back. Yes,
sure was crazy, but we had to get some stuff
for camp. You know.

Speaker 1 (05:55):
He wanted some new outfits. Yeah, which is so weird.

Speaker 2 (05:59):
Yeah, because he's fifteen now and we used to go
to camp and he was like just complaining because he
had to pack. He didn't care about anything. And now
he's like, I just want to get some new shirts possibly,
and I'm like.

Speaker 1 (06:09):
Sure, camp, oh yeah, oh yeah.

Speaker 2 (06:12):
I mean, of course they're in separate camps, but they
see each other.

Speaker 1 (06:16):
Oh, don't even get.

Speaker 5 (06:17):
Me started, don't even get me weird.

Speaker 2 (06:20):
Don't even get me started. Because I had to get
in on him yesterday.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
We're in line.

Speaker 2 (06:25):
Oh, we're in line, and he's like, oh, we're pulling
up the camp and he's like, three g's, dad, because
it's a church.

Speaker 1 (06:30):
Camp, right, three g's.

Speaker 2 (06:32):
And I'm like what three g's. He's like, yeah, God,
glory and girls.

Speaker 4 (06:36):
Oh.

Speaker 2 (06:38):
I'm like you know what and he goes but mostly God,
oh my god, I am in trouble.

Speaker 5 (07:23):
Yeah, we got some rain in the area this morning.

Speaker 6 (07:25):
We did have flash flood mornings that just ended for
Dallas and Denton Counties. Terrant County is under one until
eight forty five, so some decent rain and lightning strikes
around the metroplex. Today should be the wettest day this week.

Speaker 5 (07:37):
The good news is none of it's severe. The majority
of it's going to be here this morning.

Speaker 6 (07:41):
And we're only gonna get up to ninety today.

Speaker 5 (07:43):
Oh oh, how good is that?

Speaker 1 (07:45):
Feat your winter jackets?

Speaker 5 (07:47):
Seventy three outside right now?

Speaker 1 (07:49):
It's not that pit but it feels sticky.

Speaker 6 (07:51):
Yeah, it is a little sticky, but better.

Speaker 2 (07:53):
Yeah, a little bit better. But yeah, I mean I
just want a little rain. I know we need it,
But at the same time, I'm just like, come on,
I don't want it to rain all week because it
looks like it was going to rain all week.

Speaker 1 (08:01):
But if you're telling me it's not.

Speaker 5 (08:02):
That bad, yeah, it doesn't seem that bad.

Speaker 6 (08:04):
We did see a double rainbow yesterday, so hopefully that's
like good luck. Yeah you we Well, we went out
to some family's house in Fort Worth there in Haslet,
So on the way back we saw a double rainbow.

Speaker 2 (08:18):
So, man, I get excited when I see a double rainbow. Yeah,
I excited.

Speaker 5 (08:22):
Yeah, good things they're coming.

Speaker 2 (08:23):
You gotta stop what you're doing and appreciate somebody the
other day, so they saw a triple rainbow, No way,
I know, I know, I got excited too.

Speaker 6 (08:32):
Wow, share some of that rainbow, you know, one for
all of us guys. Dallas Stadium is preparing for its
final match of the World Cup tomorrow between France and Spain.

Speaker 5 (08:42):
That one starts at two o'clock.

Speaker 6 (08:44):
The winner will head to the finals against the winner
of Argentina.

Speaker 5 (08:47):
And England on Sunday.

Speaker 6 (08:50):
I just saw this that almost half of World Cup
fans are skipping work to watch games.

Speaker 5 (08:55):
Come on, yeah, and I'm like, this is amazing.

Speaker 6 (08:57):
Well, they're all skipping, you know, everything to come travel
all over here and come to these games. We're just
skipping a little bit of work in there to watch them.

Speaker 2 (09:05):
That's a lot, though, to leave work to watch a
World Cup game match.

Speaker 5 (09:09):
I mean you should. You should every four years.

Speaker 6 (09:13):
This is such a good vibe that's happening.

Speaker 5 (09:15):
Around the country, around the world. I mean, let's just
call out.

Speaker 2 (09:17):
I'm an India.

Speaker 1 (09:18):
I thought this happened every year.

Speaker 5 (09:20):
No, it's every four years, right.

Speaker 4 (09:21):
Oh.

Speaker 2 (09:22):
I was like, this is awesome every year.

Speaker 5 (09:25):
Can you imagine if every summer was like this? It
was fun.

Speaker 2 (09:28):
I don't want it to end, I.

Speaker 5 (09:29):
Know, I know.

Speaker 6 (09:31):
I don't want to Telemundo broadcast to end either, because
have you seen a lot of people are skipping over
you know, Fox and stuff to go to the Spanish
language broadcast because.

Speaker 5 (09:39):
Just so much more excited.

Speaker 2 (09:40):
They get so into it.

Speaker 5 (09:41):
Yeah, we spliped.

Speaker 6 (09:42):
From one game to the other over the weekend and
we were like, wow, this is boring.

Speaker 2 (09:46):
Yeah, I know, they get so hype and just I
don't even know what they're saying half the time. Yeah,
but I know I'm into it.

Speaker 5 (09:52):
Oh yeah, for sure.

Speaker 1 (09:53):
It's kind of like you know Mexican radio though.

Speaker 2 (09:57):
Yeah, like to say, I can't do it, but I
sometimes I listen because I'm like, I love their delivery. Yeah,
it's just height out of nowhere. It'll just be like
at the exit tolls and I'm like, what they say,
you saw this.

Speaker 6 (10:17):
Britney Spears went viral over the weekend for this picture
of her hanging out of the sunroof of a car.
She was going down a Highway in Los Angeles. What's
on though, is the caption on the photo. It says,
what people see is two seconds of insanity of me
arching me to the lord, excuse me. And then she said,
I think I need to come out of the roof
quite a bit more.

Speaker 5 (10:37):
And I'm like, looking at this picture, No, you don't, Brittany.

Speaker 1 (10:40):
She was hanging out the sun roof, yes, throwing down the.

Speaker 5 (10:42):
Freeway and we don't know for what. We don't know
for what.

Speaker 6 (10:44):
But a friend of hers also commented, saying she used
to do this all the time as a kid growing
up in the South.

Speaker 5 (10:50):
Sure you never had a sunroof where that was a kid.

Speaker 1 (10:54):
We had the back of a pickleup truck. Yeah, so
Liia was in California.

Speaker 5 (10:58):
Yeah so she was and driving though, no because she can't.
You never know that he's not supposed to be driving.

Speaker 2 (11:05):
Tell Brittany what to do for her, you know situation.
She was hanging out the window, but just for a
couple of seconds.

Speaker 6 (11:10):
I don't know how long this went on for, but
she was. It was definitely her hanging out of like
a g wagon going down the one O one, and
it looks like a music video, but I don't believe
it was a music video, but yeah, what a weird thing.

Speaker 1 (11:23):
To come out and say you have a Marboro light
in her mind.

Speaker 6 (11:27):
This was a picture from the back, so I couldn't
really can't.

Speaker 1 (11:31):
Confirm her to not she have a zema in her writing.

Speaker 2 (11:39):
Early two thousands, Brittany's back for some zema and Marlboro lights.

Speaker 5 (11:43):
She might be long as she's safe, That's all I
care about it.

Speaker 1 (11:46):
Well she's not, okay, Yeah.

Speaker 5 (11:47):
No, definitely not all right, Brittany? You do you?

Speaker 6 (11:50):
I'm Candle Slowpez. Those are your Texas top stories.

Speaker 1 (11:53):
Let's do it right now. First caller of the day.
Who's his?

Speaker 2 (11:56):
Kathy or Cassie? Cassie? What's up? How are you?

Speaker 5 (12:01):
I'm good?

Speaker 1 (12:01):
Guess why you're calling?

Speaker 2 (12:02):
Number one? Kid?

Speaker 4 (12:03):
Gradual?

Speaker 2 (12:07):
That's what I'm talking about. Are you going to parking rog? Right?

Speaker 6 (12:11):
No, I was just blessed with a big mouth.

Speaker 1 (12:14):
Hey, same, Well good for you. Where are you from, Cassie?

Speaker 6 (12:17):
Well, originally Indiana, but I lived here and now I
was going to walk the Hatchie.

Speaker 2 (12:21):
Well, welcome to Texas, and even though you've been here
for a while, we love having you and thank you
for listening. You got a four pack of passes to
Wine Falls, and I'm also going to put you in
the running for the season pass. So at the end
of the week, on Friday, I'll draw a name, and
if I draw you, you get a season pass on
top of it. All right, thank you so much, Cassie.
Be safe in this weather. Okay. I know it's slick
out there, Yes it is, all right, Hang on, you're ready,

(12:43):
real or fake news? Right about now. I'm gonna give
you three headlines. Gonna tell me which one is the
fake story. And the news is crazy because the world
is crazy.

Speaker 4 (12:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (12:52):
And if you notice, the world.

Speaker 5 (12:54):
Is every day, it's nuts. This place is crazier every day.

Speaker 1 (12:57):
This place is crazy.

Speaker 2 (12:59):
All right? Can well? I was gonna say you go first,
but you don't even know the headlines. All right, First
headline headline number one, three out of four people think
they could score a World Cup goal. Okay, three out
of four people think they could score a World Cup goal.
I could do that.

Speaker 1 (13:19):
Okay, hold on, all right, let's get through the headline.

Speaker 2 (13:24):
Here we go. Headline number two. In Britain, there is
now a hospital for your house plants. In Britain, there
is now a hospital for your House Plants headline number three,
man breaks in a Tennessee Walmart found naked on a
palette of dog food. Man breaks in the Tennessee Walmart.

(13:48):
You heard me right, Cannis found naked on a palette
of dog food. Okay. The most shocking part about that
headline is that it wasn't Florida. Yeah right, So there's
three headlines, three headlines right there. You gotta tell me
which one is the fake story out of the three candas.
You want to go first, you want to pass it
to La Poo Poo.

Speaker 6 (14:08):
Well, I already said I would go first before we
started the headline, So I'm gonna stick with that. Lock
me in for that Walmart story?

Speaker 2 (14:13):
Oh wow, you think that's the fake one? Yeah, okay,
let's lock it in.

Speaker 5 (14:18):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (14:18):
You're officially locked in, Producer Poo. Let me look at
you over here. I'm not actually gonna look at you. Okay, no,
look at me.

Speaker 1 (14:24):
But you can still pick which one is the fake story?
The second story hospital for your play it?

Speaker 2 (14:30):
Okay, nothing, that's the fake one.

Speaker 5 (14:32):
Yeah, could go there, you do?

Speaker 2 (14:34):
Yeah, I have none because I've killed them all. Lock
that in, locked in. The winner today is me I
can't believe you guys didn't pick that.

Speaker 6 (14:52):
What well, I mean, everybody thinks they can do everything
they see on TV.

Speaker 2 (14:55):
Right, it's a good point. The fake story was three
out of four people think they could score a World
Cup goal?

Speaker 5 (15:00):
How did he not catch that? Yeah, this is what
everyone always says.

Speaker 2 (15:04):
Yes, of course, and I'm guilty of that too, But
when it comes to football soccer, yeah, definitely not. But
three out of four people was not the number. The
real number when they asked people, it was one out
of four people thought they could And obviously, do you
think you could score kids? No, me either. You don't
think you could score? This will be on a penalty kick,

(15:27):
and who thinks he can? Absolutely, this is hysterical.

Speaker 5 (15:30):
I think I could.

Speaker 2 (15:31):
Well, don't hate, oh I will hate?

Speaker 5 (15:35):
Do you know how?

Speaker 1 (15:37):
But I mean I played soccer when I was younger.

Speaker 2 (15:39):
Well show did I? Yeah? You were? You were there
for the orange slices on the snacks more slices. Okay,
so wait a minute, you're telling me against a professional goaltender, Yeah,
you could score.

Speaker 1 (15:53):
I think I could.

Speaker 2 (15:54):
You are? I got like four five tries? I think
I could four five trial I could get him as well.
That's not how penalty kicks were. I could bend it
like Beckham, Like that's that's a little saying are you
talking about You would blow out your a cl like
Connor McGregor. You would be Connor McGregor. You just you
would fold and just fall. First of all, have you

(16:17):
seen the way your feet are pointed? Yes, and that's
for a reason. You'd have to kick at an angle.
You'd have to kick towards the stands.

Speaker 1 (16:23):
So it ended up towards the.

Speaker 5 (16:27):
Don you see doing a header? Is that what they're called?

Speaker 2 (16:32):
Okay, so yeah, I couldn't believe that one unfortunate darkness.

Speaker 1 (16:36):
I don't think.

Speaker 8 (16:37):
I don't think you could score on me if I
was a goalie hands down?

Speaker 2 (16:41):
Is this going to be a challenge?

Speaker 1 (16:42):
I think, first of all, it was basketball. I think
he lost.

Speaker 2 (16:46):
I don't think I could score on you. Okay, Well,
I think what we're going to do after the show
or sometime this week, do we have a World Cup
challenge between.

Speaker 5 (16:54):
I think we make this happen.

Speaker 2 (16:56):
I think I could score and we have to get
a professional goaltender.

Speaker 5 (16:59):
Oh, I'm sure we could find one. I met a
high school kid I know who's a goaltender. You could
go against him.

Speaker 2 (17:05):
Oh, he's definitely not getting it past him, all right.
The other stories that are real. Man breaks into Tennessee
Walmart found naked on a pallet of dog food, which
I mean, I don't know. The Lebanon Police Lebanon, Tennessee
says officers responded after employees reported a man had broken
into the store and was damaging items.

Speaker 5 (17:27):
Oh, like, you have to.

Speaker 2 (17:29):
Really really be desperate to break into a Walmart because
I mean, first of all, they're open pretty much all
the time. Yeah, remember when.

Speaker 1 (17:37):
Walmart was twenty four hours.

Speaker 2 (17:38):
Yes, now it's not not all of them at least,
But here's a deal. Though, they're always like open because
there's always somebody there yea.

Speaker 1 (17:45):
So even when they're not open, the doors are open. Yeah,
they're stocking products.

Speaker 2 (17:51):
Because we live in a Walmart parking lot for stuff
of us not normally. No. Either way, he was damaging items,
so they called the police. They're like, what is going on?
Workers safely cleared the sales floor, took shelter in a
secure area because they have protocol for this. Because unfortunately,
it's probably not the first time it's happened into Walmart.
Officers went inside, They found a twenty six year old
Madison man lying completely naked on a palette of dog food.

Speaker 1 (18:15):
He then took off, running into the clothing section.

Speaker 5 (18:17):
Oo ooh, get some clothes.

Speaker 2 (18:20):
I know what he did. When you were a teat
he would hide in the rack so your parents couldn't
find Yeah, that's probably what he did. Yeah. Officers tried
to arrest him, they couldn't find him. Finally they caught
him a short time later. He now faces several charges
including disorderly conduct, public intoxication, vandalism, and aggravated.

Speaker 1 (18:37):
Criminal trust pass.

Speaker 5 (18:38):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (18:39):
So yeah, welcome to the no fund zone. You can't
get naked in a Walmart. Sorry, no fun anymore. And
then this story in Britain, there is now a hospital
for your house plants. Yep, this is somewhere I guess.
It's called the Hilda Houseplant Hospital and it lets plan
owners drop off their strug greenery. And yeah, I mean

(19:03):
there's even an emergency room.

Speaker 1 (19:05):
Oh wow, in case.

Speaker 2 (19:06):
You're having a big time emergency with one of your
house plants.

Speaker 1 (19:09):
Customers bring their plan in for a consultation.

Speaker 2 (19:12):
They'll have a patient history and charts and doctors and everything.

Speaker 1 (19:16):
Else that you would normally have at a hospital.

Speaker 2 (19:18):
Okay, it's only usually one doctor because I don't know
if they're overwhelmed with business right now. She treats them,
cleans it up, calls the owner when the planet is
ready to go home. Prices depend on the size of
the plane and what's going on. But the most common
patient is the monstera a big tropical plant. Yes, new
gardeners often struggle with they.

Speaker 6 (19:38):
Are all tropical, like you see them on T shirts
and stuff.

Speaker 5 (19:42):
That's the ones you find tea super trendy.

Speaker 2 (19:44):
For a while, someone got way too hype over a
random tropical plant. Well yeah, that sounded dark.

Speaker 1 (19:54):
I do you kill plants? Well yeah, would you?

Speaker 2 (19:57):
You would be the type so you know, because you were.

Speaker 6 (20:00):
They're going to charge you the same price that does
it cost to replace the plant? So I might as
well just replace it.

Speaker 2 (20:05):
No, she says, it's absolutely reasonable, and she's offering offering insurance.

Speaker 1 (20:10):
Oh for your plants too.

Speaker 5 (20:12):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (20:13):
Yeah, you can tell this is overseas because most Americans
can't even get insurance.

Speaker 1 (20:19):
You're monster. Your monster has full coverage.

Speaker 2 (20:24):
Awesome, we have a dirty little secret at seven thirty. Also,
we're giving away groceries free groceries starting today. Thank you
to Kroger for hooking this up. It's Mix one O
two point nine, Bility Kid, Candice Slow Pez producer Pooh.
If you haven't signed up for the free groceries, make
sure you do. Go to the iHeartRadio app, look us
up Mix one O two point nine, click on that

(20:45):
little mic and say I want my Mix one O
two point nine.

Speaker 1 (20:48):
That's simple, got it?

Speaker 2 (20:49):
Then when we call you, because the first call is
about eight, so about an hour away, you've got to
answer the phone like that. If you don't and you're
just like we saw, I'm like, no, I gotta hang up.

Speaker 5 (20:59):
Yeah, I don't want to hang up, so you don't
even get to talk. No, oh, we're just hanging out.

Speaker 2 (21:03):
I just got to hang up. I guess I could talk.
But I got to tell you you're a loser. And
I don't want to tell anybody, well, not like that.
But you didn't win. If you don't win, then you lose.

Speaker 1 (21:16):
Okay, you're either or a loser.

Speaker 2 (21:19):
One don't be.

Speaker 5 (21:20):
A loser today.

Speaker 1 (21:21):
That's my whole point.

Speaker 2 (21:22):
Okay, because well the good news is though, let's say
I try to give away free groceries, right, and then
somebody answers, hey, what's up, and I can't. The jackpot
gets bigger for the next person, the next person carry
it's over. So yeah, just letting you know. Okay, when's
the last time? And maybe Candace, you've never done this,
and I want to know if I'm in the right
or wrong.

Speaker 1 (21:40):
This actually could be a canvas court. Okay, I rode rage.
When's the last time you rode raged?

Speaker 6 (21:45):
I mean, let's considered road rage, because this morning I
definitely was full of rage on the road because there
were like three cement trucks and one pulled out right
in front of me, and then they just created like
a diagonal block.

Speaker 5 (21:55):
That's the road in three lanes. There was one in
each lane.

Speaker 2 (21:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (21:58):
No, that's not good at all. Yeah, but what did
you do about it?

Speaker 5 (22:01):
Well, I mean I could ride the cement trucks bumper.
But yeah, he's like a giant, right, I'm the loser.

Speaker 6 (22:07):
You lose, Yeah, and so I just like kept waiting
and then as soon as he moved over, like I.

Speaker 5 (22:11):
Just around him.

Speaker 2 (22:12):
Well, let me tell you what happened to me. First
of all, it was in Mesquite. Oh no, and I
love Mesquite. I messed with Mysquite because I love Misquiite, right,
you know, I only tease. It's like teasing your little brother,
little sister. Yes, but then if somebody else does.

Speaker 6 (22:26):
It, you're like, hey, yeah, I don't talk about like that.

Speaker 2 (22:29):
Right right, Yeah, come on, but I don't know. So yesterday,
I'm coming through Mesquite on twenty or whatever. Yeah, some
maniac and you know my luck when it comes to cars, Yeah,
some maniac speeds by us. Everybody going like, I'm not
even kidding you, Like it felt like one hundred miles an.

Speaker 1 (22:49):
Hour on the shoulder of the road, okay, where there's.

Speaker 2 (22:53):
A bunch of you know, gravel and crap, blah blah blah,
and we're pretty much at a standstill because we're going
slower because there's traffic. This guy hauls past us, throws
up a bunch of rocks on my car and chips
my window. This is about the fifth time my window
has been chipped. I don't know if my window is

(23:14):
made of the most fragile glass on the planet, but
he chipped it.

Speaker 1 (23:19):
I lose my mind.

Speaker 2 (23:20):
I'm like, you know what, No, So I take off
after him, but I can only go so fast because
I'm like, I'm not going to catch up to him.

Speaker 1 (23:27):
So then the traffic opens back.

Speaker 2 (23:29):
Up and I start going and I'm like, no, I'm
saying something to this guy. I'm so irritated by this.
So I pull up next to him and I'm like hey,
and he slows down. He's like this. I don't this guy.
His face was so punishable. He had the most punishable
face I seen it in a long time. And I'm

(23:50):
trying to be cool. I'm like, hey, you just passed
everybody like a maniac, kicked up a bunch of rocks
and chip my window and he goes, okay, oh, and
I go, okay, Well, what are we gonna do about it?
We're going like thirty miles an hour on the highway
next to each other, and I'm like, I go, what
are you gonna do about it?

Speaker 1 (24:07):
And he goes nothing and he just takes off.

Speaker 2 (24:10):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (24:10):
Oh the amount of anger that was.

Speaker 5 (24:13):
God, I know it's not worth it, that's all.

Speaker 2 (24:16):
I was like, I'm chasing this guy. I'm like, I
am going to follow him until he gets off the highway.
But then I'm like, what am I gonna do about it?

Speaker 5 (24:25):
Right then?

Speaker 2 (24:25):
What first of all, I don't have a dash cam,
so I can't prove that he did it, you know,
And it's my windows shipped now no matter what.

Speaker 1 (24:32):
So I'm gonna make it worse.

Speaker 2 (24:33):
I'm gonna chase this guy down, and he's gonna be
like too bad, or he's gonna call the cops on
me or something stupid. It's gonna happen.

Speaker 5 (24:41):
But I'm like, right, it's not worth it.

Speaker 2 (24:44):
I'm so tired of things hitting my windows, you know,
like those trucks that have rocks flying out of it. Yeah,
and they think, well, I mean it says stay five
hundred yards back.

Speaker 1 (24:54):
I'm seven hundred yards back, and the rock is still.

Speaker 2 (24:56):
Because the rock is still bouncing down the highway, it
hits me.

Speaker 6 (25:00):
Is it just all the construction in the Metroplex there's
always a truck with rocks.

Speaker 5 (25:04):
I think it's no, it's not just misquke.

Speaker 8 (25:07):
I think no, it's just it's miskey because I got
into it with somebody over there off thirty in Northwest.
I was at the light and you know, when the
light turns green with somebody behind me honks, so the
person in front of him of me gets out like
what's up, Like I was honking.

Speaker 1 (25:23):
I was like, they got out of their car.

Speaker 2 (25:25):
He got out and like this.

Speaker 1 (25:26):
I was like, man, can your I go get back
in your car?

Speaker 2 (25:29):
You know what I mean?

Speaker 5 (25:30):
Now you're in it.

Speaker 2 (25:31):
Yeah, but now I'm in it.

Speaker 8 (25:32):
And then the person that's behind me scurries all off
and I looked like the food that was hoggling in him.

Speaker 2 (25:37):
And we were arguing going through the light, and I'm like, dude,
that wasn't even me. Wow, almost did you get out
of your car? No, I'm saying it, it's not worth
it in my car, you're scared. Well, I'm in the
honker bro he was in. He was in the matter.
He was in a raised up f one fifty. I looked, yeah,
you know. I was just like, you're a little man.

Speaker 8 (26:00):
Yeah yeah, plus plus he should have known better my hand.

Speaker 2 (26:04):
And was he big and tough? Oh yeah he was.
He's pretty big.

Speaker 1 (26:07):
When he leaned out that that truck, I was like, okay.

Speaker 2 (26:10):
Well you you're gonna get beat up.

Speaker 4 (26:12):
No.

Speaker 2 (26:12):
I wouldn't get beat up.

Speaker 8 (26:14):
No, No, I will represent, but I'm just not gonna
get out.

Speaker 5 (26:18):
Get to that point, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (26:19):
What were you gonna do? What would you what would
your first move of combat self demand. He was walking
towards me.

Speaker 8 (26:24):
I'm in my car. Jeez, that got real quick.

Speaker 5 (26:31):
Everybody takes everything on the road.

Speaker 8 (26:34):
I mean, I'm just not gonna get out of my
car like you're gonna hit the dude if he gets
out of his car, just do.

Speaker 1 (26:38):
A little nudge nudge and then take off.

Speaker 2 (26:40):
You can't do that, you're oh my god.

Speaker 1 (26:44):
Yeah, I don't.

Speaker 2 (26:46):
Ever get that man.

Speaker 5 (26:46):
You know me, I always last.

Speaker 2 (26:48):
The last time Poo got to fight, you know what
he did? It was weird. He gave the guy a
weggie like that he got.

Speaker 5 (26:57):
You want to do this atomic when.

Speaker 4 (27:02):
It's tough.

Speaker 1 (27:03):
Stories on the Tents with Billy the Kid in the.

Speaker 4 (27:05):
Morning only on the New Mix one two point nine.

Speaker 1 (27:09):
Early on a Monday morning, Candice Slow Piz, what is
going on?

Speaker 6 (27:12):
Well, we have a flash flood morning in effect for
Terren County until eight forty five. We got quite a
bit of rain moving from Fort Worth over into Dallas.
But there is a line from Lewisville down to Bedford
and then Mansfield to Cleeburn. So just a heads up,
it is wet out there on the roadways. None of
this is severe. It's gonna basically be around this morning.
We'll get up to ninety.

Speaker 5 (27:31):
But it's seventy three right now, which is really nice
for Jane.

Speaker 1 (27:33):
But you're saying no rain all days, so I'm gonna
do this all day.

Speaker 6 (27:36):
Yeah, it should should move out this morning, don't lie
to me.

Speaker 9 (27:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (27:39):
Well, you know these pop up showers just come out
of nowhere yesterday, like rain the two streets over from
our house and not on our street.

Speaker 2 (27:45):
You ever have it rain in your front yard and
not your back.

Speaker 5 (27:47):
Yeah, it was kind of like that real.

Speaker 2 (27:49):
Oh yeah, it's happened to me like once, and I
thought it was so cool when I was It's like
running back and forth. It was like I love that.
So all right, Yeah, be safe in this weather for sure.

Speaker 5 (27:58):
Yes, exactly.

Speaker 6 (27:59):
Well, guys, there was a couple who climbed the Empire
State Building a few weeks ago. They say they're doing
okay since they're arrest and are planning to announce a
special project they say is close to their hearts.

Speaker 5 (28:10):
So they're from Russia.

Speaker 6 (28:12):
They were part of that Netflix documentary Skywalker's a Love Story,
but they're facing three felony counts of burglary, reckless endangerment,
and criminal mischief for climbing the Empire State Building and
then they got four other misdemeanors for criminal trespass, disorderly conducts,
stuff like that. But they say they're coming back and
whatever they're planning to do is going to show their

(28:33):
love for.

Speaker 5 (28:33):
New York City and it's people.

Speaker 6 (28:36):
So once you've done this and got arrested, you've got felonies,
you're like, let's plan our next one, right, you know,
to hill Morelave.

Speaker 2 (28:43):
I mean, look, they're making money off this now, and
they're famous, more famous than their documentary.

Speaker 6 (28:49):
Yeah, and they're like picture of them with that peace
banner that everyone was making their.

Speaker 1 (28:53):
Own banners of it.

Speaker 5 (28:54):
It's my entire feed.

Speaker 2 (28:56):
Yeah, entire feed. But I mean it's pretty amazing how
they did this, and it's all so kind of alarming
how they did this.

Speaker 5 (29:01):
Yeah. Well I was in New.

Speaker 6 (29:02):
York City when this happened, and so it was like
we left that.

Speaker 5 (29:07):
Day and I was like, what's happening here? Is this real?

Speaker 6 (29:10):
And so you know, we try to get close to there,
but there's just a lot going on.

Speaker 2 (29:13):
Well yeah, but I mean, how you have to break
into the Empire State Building, the observatory or whatever, yeah,
then sleep there overnight, then break a lot, cut a lock,
and then crawl into the space hide out for hours
and hours and hours, and then they got their chance
to do it.

Speaker 5 (29:29):
But i mean, who's out here doing this?

Speaker 1 (29:33):
Is that worth it?

Speaker 5 (29:36):
For making your whole life no harnesses?

Speaker 1 (29:38):
That's what makes me believe it's set up.

Speaker 2 (29:39):
Sometimes I'm like, some of this stuff, you feel like
it's got to be set up.

Speaker 6 (29:42):
Yeah, I mean, just to be a daredevil is one thing,
but to do this repeatedly and I'm like, what is
it going to be next?

Speaker 5 (29:47):
Is it going to be like one of the bridges there.

Speaker 2 (29:49):
It's kind of hot though, that she's crazy enough to
get up there with him. No, right, you know, if
this guy's like, hey, you want to come up to
the top of the Empire State building at me, I'm like, no.

Speaker 6 (29:59):
Yeah, but this seems like a production, not something that's
actually happening. Maybe Netflix, we don't know anything about it.
Maybe Netflix is going to announce this soon, but I'm
definitely gonna keep you posted. If you guys didn't hear
about this, Plato is launching a new line of products
designed for adults.

Speaker 5 (30:16):
This is called Blooms. It's by Plato.

Speaker 6 (30:18):
It's a kit that lets you basically make realistic floral arrangements.

Speaker 5 (30:22):
And I can see this being like the next big
thing for adults. Like you know, coloring came back.

Speaker 6 (30:27):
It was like a therapeuticoli adult coloring book thing for
a while.

Speaker 5 (30:32):
Yeah, but adult Plato kits are a new thing.

Speaker 2 (30:34):
Okay.

Speaker 6 (30:35):
Yeah, So you can make your flowers and then it
comes with the finishing spray so you can preserve it
for a few months. And these kits are starting at
twenty four ninety nine.

Speaker 1 (30:43):
So why don't you just get I mean, you could, but.

Speaker 6 (30:45):
It's not funny. Doesn't smell the same to me. I'm
there for the Plato's.

Speaker 2 (30:49):
It doesn't taste the same either.

Speaker 5 (30:50):
About that. No, really, that.

Speaker 1 (30:55):
Explained so much.

Speaker 2 (30:58):
You don't you can make burgers?

Speaker 8 (31:00):
Oh yeah, I was kidding. I never really ate it. Yeah,
you took a bite of it. Yeah, Oh wow, I
was little.

Speaker 2 (31:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (31:07):
Maybe the homemade play though, you know everyone had that
rescue you could make your own homemade plate.

Speaker 2 (31:11):
I'm talking about the actual play though.

Speaker 8 (31:13):
Wow, it's such a distinct smell burger hot dog? How
much hockey piece of the hot dog? I was just
playing when I was little.

Speaker 2 (31:23):
This was last week.

Speaker 5 (31:26):
All right, I'm Cannaslopez.

Speaker 6 (31:27):
Those are Texas top stories on Mixed one of two
point nine.

Speaker 1 (31:30):
Remember what it tasted like or no, it was nasty?

Speaker 2 (31:33):
What was better? Canas Is chili.

Speaker 5 (31:36):
Or the plate Chili's July?

Speaker 2 (31:39):
Well, I'm just asking, just you know, just for research purposes.

Speaker 8 (31:44):
Would you rather I didn't have Kansas's chili when I
was sick? So your your chili is better?

Speaker 5 (31:50):
An answer?

Speaker 1 (31:51):
If I had some salt on that.

Speaker 5 (31:52):
Playoff to promise you'll feel better.

Speaker 2 (32:00):
Welcome to the Dirty Little Secret and Mix one O

(33:01):
about this one because you got one.

Speaker 10 (33:03):
I do.

Speaker 2 (33:03):
So.

Speaker 9 (33:04):
I have a confession that happened years ago, but I
honestly carry I just carry the goat with me.

Speaker 11 (33:12):
I just have ever since.

Speaker 9 (33:13):
Okay, So I used to be in a high school teacher.
I was a teacher, but I won't say where, like
what city, because.

Speaker 11 (33:22):
I don't I don't work for that district anymore.

Speaker 12 (33:25):
And I'm really scared someone will recognize my boys. It
was one of those schools where a lot of famous
people's kids when you know, like politicians or successful business owners.

Speaker 11 (33:39):
And professional athletes.

Speaker 9 (33:40):
And when I first started there it felt so surreal.

Speaker 11 (33:44):
But then after a while they were just students like
everyone else.

Speaker 2 (33:48):
I won't say any names, but I have an idea
of where it might be. One right down the street. Yeah,
but I don't know if that's it. I'm not gonna
it could be, you know, honest, it could be a
lot of your cities around here.

Speaker 9 (33:59):
But okay, it could be a lot of cities.

Speaker 7 (34:02):
So there was this one student in my class who
was failing, not.

Speaker 10 (34:07):
Not like barely failing, I'm talking failing back.

Speaker 11 (34:11):
His dad was a very famous athlete.

Speaker 9 (34:14):
But I can't give any hints because I do think
people would figure it out. So the semester it was ending,
and I was pulled aside and told to make sure
that he passed by any means necessary. So yeah, and
if you had asked me before that moment what I

(34:35):
would do, I would have said, absolutely not.

Speaker 11 (34:38):
I would have my integrity is not for sale, right,
But I caved, I caved.

Speaker 7 (34:45):
And I passed him. Yes, yes, yes, I think were reasons.
A lot of pressure. There's a lot of pressure, and
the part of it is who his father was.

Speaker 9 (34:58):
And it didn't hurt that the student himself was a
standout athlete himself.

Speaker 5 (35:04):
Okay, none of that should have mattered.

Speaker 9 (35:06):
It shouldn't have mattered, but in that moment it did. Yeah,
And it changed the grade and he passed.

Speaker 2 (35:12):
You changed the great wow. And I appreciate you being honest,
and I know that you're not proud of this situation
that you were in. But does this happen a lot?
I feel like it does. I don't want to say
it because I love teachers. Oh yeah, but it's just
not fair that they're put in this position to have
pressure put on you like that. So it's not like

(35:34):
you're the devil for doing this, But I get why
I would bother you. Yes, thank you.

Speaker 9 (35:38):
I know to some people this probably doesn't sound like
the biggest scandal in the world, but it's still It
still bothers me. You know, like teachers, I became one
because I believe in fairness and accountability and earning.

Speaker 5 (35:53):
What you get.

Speaker 9 (35:53):
And in that one moment, I compromise all of my values.
It changed how I looked at myself, and honestly, it
played a big role and why I ended up leaving
the district. And I just promised myself that I would
never let anyone pressure.

Speaker 11 (36:08):
Me into something like that again.

Speaker 9 (36:10):
And I don't care if it's the child of the
most famous person on the planet.

Speaker 11 (36:14):
If they don't earn the grade, they don't earn the.

Speaker 9 (36:17):
Grade, right right, It's a mistake I will always regret.

Speaker 2 (36:22):
I could see why I would weigh on you, but
that would be tough, Like what do you do in
that situation?

Speaker 5 (36:26):
Right?

Speaker 4 (36:27):
Don't?

Speaker 2 (36:27):
I'm so curious is who the famous athlete is? But
you know, the fact of the matter is there's so
many in this area. Like some cities, there's not a
lot of professional athletes that are that famous. There are
a lot here, so it could be anyone. I'm not
even to go down that rabbit. It doesn't even matter.
My sister taught a couple of famous athletes.

Speaker 1 (36:45):
But did she ever pass it?

Speaker 2 (36:46):
No, she did. She wouldn't do it, No.

Speaker 7 (36:51):
That's what I thought.

Speaker 2 (36:53):
I thought.

Speaker 9 (36:54):
You never know, But you know what happened.

Speaker 1 (36:58):
Do you know if she was a coached and asked
to do that, No, she was.

Speaker 2 (37:02):
Never approached, but she did.

Speaker 1 (37:03):
She did give him extra some extra credit.

Speaker 8 (37:06):
I do know that when you give some extra credit
so he could bring his great up to a passing.

Speaker 5 (37:11):
She tried to give him opportunity, opportunity.

Speaker 2 (37:14):
She wouldn't She was never appropsed as long as you'll
give those opportunities to other students. Yeah, and it's fair. Yeah, okay, wow, Well,
that what a good confession.

Speaker 1 (37:23):
Thank you. Hopefully you can move on and you're still teaching.

Speaker 11 (37:26):
Though, right I am, but I'm not going to stay where.

Speaker 2 (37:31):
I don't say where, but you know, good for you
for getting off your chest and at least you do
feel guilty. I know some people wouldn't even care, right,
they do it again, so at least you learned from it.

Speaker 1 (37:40):
But thank you for that confession. We appreciate it.

Speaker 11 (37:43):
Thank you all for letting me get it off my chest.

Speaker 2 (37:45):
Of course I want to say I wouldn't do it.
Of course I wouldn't, but I don't think you know
until you're in that situation.

Speaker 5 (37:51):
Right, I feel like who would for.

Speaker 1 (37:55):
Some super Bowl ticket?

Speaker 2 (37:56):
It was Super Bowl? And feel like a honey bun
around here.

Speaker 8 (38:01):
Yes, superboy, you know, if he's a famous athlete, you
probably got some connections.

Speaker 5 (38:05):
Okay, fair something, all right, he's.

Speaker 4 (38:11):
Doing for Cannis Court.

Speaker 2 (38:13):
It gets settled here with Billy the Kid in the morning. Yes,
all right for the audible, Judge Candae Lopez in her
raincoat today because a little bit damp out, you know,
a little sprinkles here and there. So she's got her gavel,
her raincoat. She comes prepared. That's what she does. It's
mixed one or two point nine. All right, Billy the Kid,
Candas is here of course, Producer Pooh, and if you
have something you want Judge Candace to just figure out

(38:36):
for you at Candas on air, just make sure you
hit her up at Cannas on air. All right, Candace,
you're Readyie hey, Billy Candace and Pooh, let me get
y'all's temperature on this situation. Okay, this girl, I'm Dayton
canceled on our date over the weekend, and it was
pretty last minute. She was very honest with me about
why she was canceling. I was really shocked she even

(38:59):
said this out loud. She said she just was She
said she was just having a bad day and didn't
like any of her outfits. Oh oh man, Okay. She
said she just wasn't feeling it and asked if we
could reschedule. Is this something I should be worried about

(39:23):
for any future we might have together? Or is this
a genuine lady that I shouldn't pass up. I need
some help on this.

Speaker 5 (39:32):
Please, interesting.

Speaker 2 (39:34):
I think this is fascinating to me.

Speaker 5 (39:36):
Kids too.

Speaker 2 (39:37):
So I don't know if you've ever canceled on anybody
on a date. I mean, I'm sure you have, not
on a.

Speaker 5 (39:43):
Date, but definitely a Christmas party.

Speaker 2 (39:45):
Oh, you've never canceled on a date. No, even when
you were just single dating around.

Speaker 6 (39:49):
Yeah, never, No, never canceled on a date. But I
definitely canceled on a Christmas party because I just wasn't
feeling it wasn't looking good in all my outfits, like
everybody has that day.

Speaker 2 (40:00):
Everybody does.

Speaker 5 (40:00):
You're just like, I can't find anything to wear.

Speaker 6 (40:02):
I was excited about this outfit. Now it looks black.

Speaker 5 (40:05):
I feel frumpy, I feel whatever. You're not confident, right,
I'm trying to.

Speaker 1 (40:10):
Think how I would react if this happened to me.

Speaker 2 (40:12):
I'm dating. Somebody says, Hey, I don't love the fact
that it's last minute, but unfortunately sometimes you only find
these things out last minute, Right, You know what, I
really think i'd be okay with it.

Speaker 6 (40:25):
Okay, and that's a green flag if you are oh
it is yeah from the guy.

Speaker 1 (40:30):
Okay, So yeah, he said not you. Why not you
come on.

Speaker 8 (40:33):
Girl, like you've had all week we playing this date.
You can find something to wear, or if you want
to just change it up a bit, don't pick that outfit.

Speaker 1 (40:41):
Let's go do something else. But don't just cancel on me.

Speaker 6 (40:45):
I mean, that's on you, like if you're the guy
in the situation and you're gonna take it, you know,
so green flag as to say, well, what would make
you feel comfortable?

Speaker 5 (40:52):
I was really excited to see you? Do we just
need to have a yoga date, a yoga pants.

Speaker 1 (40:56):
Date, because my time is value r oh oh oh, excuse.

Speaker 6 (41:00):
Us, Yours time is valuable day, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (41:06):
And so if I plan to go out.

Speaker 8 (41:07):
With you, out and move some things around, you know,
maybe what if I switched with she what if I
switch weekends or something like that, just so I could
go out with you, and then you just all a.

Speaker 1 (41:16):
Sudden, I'm not feeling it. No, girl, you gotta figure
out something.

Speaker 2 (41:20):
I mean, I'm not saying it's not frustrating. Yeah, I agree,
that it's probably a little bit frustrated, But at the
same time, her honesty is what I would appreciate. Right,
she could have made it up, like my grandma's sick,
my dog's throwing up. I got the parasite, right, she's
got so I got cycles for us. You know, I'm

(41:40):
at home. You know, she could have made.

Speaker 1 (41:42):
Up a thousand weeks.

Speaker 2 (41:43):
But the fact that she just came out and said,
I'm just not feeling I'm having one of those days.
I kind of appreciate.

Speaker 6 (41:49):
That because she's gonna be real and not fake anything.
Maybe she's high maintenance. I don't know what you need
to figure that out.

Speaker 2 (41:55):
I'm out at that. You don't know that on the
first day. So I would say, yeah, okay, I get it.
I might say back to her, is there something else
you want to do? Something more chill, so you don't
have to dress up? Right whatever?

Speaker 6 (42:06):
You're comfortable with a man who would give her that
out and give her that option. That is a ginormous
green flag.

Speaker 1 (42:13):
Okay, you know green flag entergy. Yeah, yeah, for once.

Speaker 6 (42:18):
Right, Because if you're a grown man and you're mature
and you understand women.

Speaker 5 (42:22):
And how we work, it's not easy no.

Speaker 6 (42:25):
Sometimes last minute you're like, well, okay, that just changed
my whole weekend.

Speaker 2 (42:29):
Yeah. Yeah, I never know, And I don't know if
she's a parent, but sometimes as a parent too, things
come up and you're just like, oh, I didn't have
time to plan outfits. I wanted to plan, so sorry,
I can't do this.

Speaker 5 (42:40):
She really wants to make a good impression on the on.

Speaker 1 (42:42):
The days, Yeah, and I do.

Speaker 2 (42:44):
I do think you're right, though, I think somebody who
understands that and is okay. I mean, I'm not saying
I would do this on purpose to test somebody, right.

Speaker 6 (42:52):
But if you said, girl, put on a hoodie, put
on some yoga pants, we're gonna go.

Speaker 5 (42:55):
Just go to a movie and like hang out.

Speaker 6 (42:57):
After or whatever, like low key, no press, sure, tell
her no pressure.

Speaker 5 (43:01):
That's a green flag.

Speaker 2 (43:02):
I like you would you do that, pood Would you
go back and be like, hey, okay, maybe you don't
want to dress up.

Speaker 8 (43:06):
We could just do a movie and shoot some pool
or something like we gotta do something.

Speaker 2 (43:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (43:11):
Yeah, but maybe she's having like a breakout or something.

Speaker 5 (43:14):
Okay, I don't care.

Speaker 2 (43:15):
Put one of them up.

Speaker 8 (43:18):
What they had those like flesh tone band aids, that
look like little stars.

Speaker 2 (43:21):
And stuff to cover up. Just do something. I don't
care about them.

Speaker 6 (43:24):
It could be something else, but she's being honest that
it's just she doesn't feel good in her clothes. Yeah,
I can't pick an outfit. It's just one of those
mental days. It is that's lined up with your date,
because we all have them, we all have unfortunate it
happened the day y'all are supposed to go out.

Speaker 2 (43:38):
I'm gonna be real, I'd probably get excited if somebody
cancel the date. Would you do you ever get excited
when somebody cancels plans?

Speaker 10 (43:45):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (43:46):
Yeah, I'm not gonna lie.

Speaker 5 (43:48):
That's the best feeling ever at.

Speaker 2 (43:50):
This point in my life. I'm like, please cancel. Please? Yeah,
I just don't know if I can, no.

Speaker 5 (43:56):
Word, No worries at all.

Speaker 2 (43:59):
Reschedule twenty twenty seven, not a problem, exact, all right?

Speaker 1 (44:05):
Can't we have a verdict?

Speaker 2 (44:06):
Go ahead?

Speaker 5 (44:07):
Yeah, listen, sir.

Speaker 6 (44:08):
All you're guilty of right now is being a question
in Quinton, And that's okay. It's early in the relationship
because she's having a bad.

Speaker 2 (44:15):
Day, Brittany, So she's not really guilty. No, he's not
really guilty.

Speaker 6 (44:20):
Teddy's guilty here yet it's how you handle this situation.
So we're not gonna judge you just yet. But I think,
you know, give her a chance.

Speaker 2 (44:26):
Absolutely, I think she deserves that and we'll see what happens.

Speaker 1 (44:29):
So questioning Quentin, please let us know what happens.

Speaker 5 (44:32):
What happens with bad day Brittany.

Speaker 2 (44:33):
Okay, bad day Brittany, Bad day Brittany. There you go
is Tess top Stories on the Tents with Billy the
Kid in the.

Speaker 4 (44:40):
Morning only on the new mixed one or two point nine.

Speaker 1 (44:43):
I mean I wanted it to just kick off with
a big winner.

Speaker 5 (44:46):
No, me too.

Speaker 2 (44:47):
So if you know Katherine Catherine Rolfson, ooh, Catherine sent
me a voicemail like yeah, like I was poo after
a first date. No dang.

Speaker 5 (45:00):
Late to be out that hurt.

Speaker 2 (45:02):
Oh all right, we'll call somebody else at nine. So
you've got time. Get signed up right now. Jackpot is
up to five hundred bucks. We're doing this all day,
all week, so get your entries in. Candice, What is
going on? Well?

Speaker 6 (45:13):
Dallas Stadium is preparing for its final match of the
World Cup tomorrow between France and Spain. That one starts
at two o'clock, so expect traffic at all the usual
spots tomorrow, but that winner will head to the finals
against the winner of Argentina and England. The finals will
happen on Sunday, of course. And I just saw this
stat that said that almost half of World Cup fans
are skipping work to watch games.

Speaker 2 (45:35):
That kind of makes me laugh, right, because we do
we do that. I mean because when I say we
Emmian Americans, I mean this.

Speaker 5 (45:41):
A select few Americans.

Speaker 6 (45:43):
Like I have some friends who are deep into you know, football,
but I typically when it's not the World Cup, they'll
be up at like four am or something to go
watch matches at someone somewhere. Yeah, just to watch teams overseas.

Speaker 1 (45:55):
But I don't have friends like that. Oh really no.

Speaker 2 (45:57):
But I know a lot of Europeans that do they
just skip a whole month of their work. Oh yeah,
to come me here. I don't know how they do it,
but they do it.

Speaker 5 (46:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (46:04):
Their work was like, yeah, go for it, please. But
they were also asked that question and said, well, we
have universal healthcare and daycares free and stuff, so we
have the funds to you know this.

Speaker 5 (46:14):
Yeah, so what world?

Speaker 6 (46:16):
I know, guys, Zara is going viral for women calling
a popular pants style.

Speaker 5 (46:22):
Zara death trousers.

Speaker 6 (46:24):
I don't know if you guys have seen this online,
but women are filling social media with videos showing them
falling down and complaining about their battle wounds caused by
these flowy, wide leg pants.

Speaker 1 (46:35):
What's rolling the pants?

Speaker 6 (46:37):
Well, they're like real flowy. They're long, white, I mean,
super wide leg pants. They're selling for forty five dollars
on Zara's website. But these videos show injuries ranging from
you know, scrape knees and hands, bruised ankles, everything.

Speaker 5 (46:50):
To a broken elbow.

Speaker 2 (46:52):
Oh god, it's.

Speaker 6 (46:53):
Going viral and people are joking now like these pants
need a Netflix documentary because when you see this many
women falling in public on cameras that are getting just captured,
it's wild.

Speaker 2 (47:02):
I mean, I guess, but what's going on?

Speaker 1 (47:05):
Is it really the pants?

Speaker 5 (47:06):
I mean, right exactly.

Speaker 6 (47:08):
I have a pair of wilde leg pants that I
have to when I'm going upstairs, I have to like
pick them up. It's kind of like a long dress,
you know what I mean, to make sure that you
don't step on them.

Speaker 1 (47:15):
They're not that you know, is always they look like Jos.

Speaker 5 (47:21):
Well, they're like flowy, fabric, silky.

Speaker 2 (47:24):
I can't get into the I mean it looks good
on women, but I can't get into the baggy stuff
on men. Really, I don't want jeans. I don't want
to wear Jinko jeans. I'm a grown man, you know,
Like I'm wearing bell bottoms and a crop top, these
crop tops and these dudes are wearing. Yeah, I don't.

Speaker 1 (47:40):
You don't want to see poo and I in a
crop top.

Speaker 2 (47:42):
No, you don't know.

Speaker 5 (47:43):
That wouldn't suit your style.

Speaker 2 (47:44):
But a lot of these shirts for that are in
style or cropped.

Speaker 5 (47:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (47:47):
Like if I go hey and raise my arms, right,
it's belly button and we don't want that.

Speaker 5 (47:54):
I mean, the.

Speaker 6 (47:55):
Reality is with fashion, it's like, let's make them whiter,
Let's make them tighter.

Speaker 5 (47:58):
Let's make them shorter.

Speaker 6 (47:58):
There's only so many ways you can, you know, affect clothing.

Speaker 5 (48:01):
So I guess we're in the let's make up shorter
pants wider.

Speaker 2 (48:05):
Believe me. Though it looked like an open can of
cinema roles. Yeah, half open.

Speaker 6 (48:10):
Yeah, Well, watch the videos of women falling in Zara pants.

Speaker 5 (48:14):
We'll enjoy that today.

Speaker 6 (48:15):
Speaking of videos, This one's also gone viral of a
fight that broke out at Hillary Duff's concert in California
a few days ago. Uh, this video made me really
sad because I just hate fights, especially girl fights.

Speaker 2 (48:27):
What are you fighting about it, Hillary Duves?

Speaker 5 (48:29):
I don't know, but there was hair pulling. You can
see a man trying to break this up.

Speaker 2 (48:34):
Way.

Speaker 5 (48:34):
Yeah, there's been no word on.

Speaker 6 (48:36):
What this fight was about, but it's real sad when
you see two you know, musicians on stage standing there
with guitars and then a grown man breaking up a
girl fight.

Speaker 2 (48:44):
I love I.

Speaker 1 (48:45):
Love that there was a girl fight a Hillary Duve right.

Speaker 2 (48:48):
I just think it's hysterical, like this is so fun,
Like this isn't slipknot right show, It's not Metallica.

Speaker 6 (48:55):
Yeah, it definitely looks like something that would have happened
in a marsh pit.

Speaker 2 (48:58):
It's Hillary Duff, right. So yesterday, yeah, what Come Clean
came on and you started raging.

Speaker 6 (49:05):
I hope that these women eventually speak out and say
what was happening here?

Speaker 2 (49:10):
That was a big fight one time when I was
at a concert over at the porta Potties. What at
acl one time? Two girls going to fight at a
porta potty. Why yeah, And I was like, this is awesome.
I yeah, And I don't even know what they were
fighting about, have you? I don't know. Girl fights are
just funny to me.

Speaker 5 (49:24):
I don't like them.

Speaker 2 (49:25):
Because there's hair pulling, right, there's.

Speaker 6 (49:28):
Jewelry getting taken off and nails and get into it.

Speaker 2 (49:31):
Yeah, and not being perverted. But there's always one boob
that pops out. Oh god, it happens.

Speaker 6 (49:38):
Yeah, no, I could see that, but sure, usually sometimes
in a guy fight too.

Speaker 1 (49:43):
But like, have you ever been in a fight cannis?

Speaker 5 (49:46):
No, isn't that weird?

Speaker 2 (49:47):
I couldn't see canvas fight? No either can I?

Speaker 6 (49:49):
I mean maybe with my brother when I was a kid,
but that's it.

Speaker 5 (49:52):
But he would never hit me.

Speaker 2 (49:53):
You've never been in like you've never been to Town
East and just got a fight.

Speaker 5 (49:55):
Oh what's worth fighting over?

Speaker 1 (49:58):
Right?

Speaker 5 (49:58):
Physically?

Speaker 1 (49:59):
Like right now, all I tell these and tomorrow it
goes down. You touch my slice of these? Who knows
what's going on?

Speaker 2 (50:04):
But I mean, you know, yeah, most people haven't been.
You shouldn't be. I'm glad you have.

Speaker 6 (50:09):
You should be just be adults, yeah right, yeah, like
fighting at the Hillary Dove Show.

Speaker 5 (50:15):
You're welcome.

Speaker 6 (50:16):
I'm Canni slo Pezels. Are your Texas Top stories?

Speaker 5 (50:19):
Oh that's a hot TAKEE let us know what you say.

Speaker 4 (50:22):
Here's today's hot take.

Speaker 1 (50:23):
I was surprised. Who was all worked up about this?

Speaker 4 (50:26):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (50:26):
This morning. I can't believe this talking about j Low,
Jennifer Lope and you love Jayleen. I love jay Lo,
you love jail girl. She was doing this interview. She
was talking about her kids, which I can't believe. Her
twins are now what eighteen? Yeah, the twins she had
with Mark Anthony. Yes, right, Okay, So she's doing this
interview and she says.

Speaker 13 (50:44):
How did they set goals for themselves? They all got
into all five colleges that they applied to. Each one
got a scholarship to the school. And I just felt
like they worked so hard. I watched how hard they
work during you know, from the time they were like
you know, when school gets serious and like the fifth grade,
you know, and they just worked hard, worked hard. They
have ADHD and so they you know, they need they

(51:06):
learn differently, and there was struggles and times and I'm
just so proud of them.

Speaker 2 (51:10):
I'm listening to this poop plays for me. I'm like, wait,
what are we mad at?

Speaker 5 (51:13):
Right?

Speaker 2 (51:14):
I want to be mad. I couldn't figure out to
be mad. I don't he figured out he was mad
about the fact that they got scholarship.

Speaker 5 (51:22):
Exactly why your mom is.

Speaker 2 (51:25):
Worth four hundred million.

Speaker 8 (51:27):
You don't need no scholarship, but mom can fit the
bill for YO semesters, my kids, your little Enzo, everybody, But.

Speaker 2 (51:35):
Why do okay, but why do here? Let me just
say this, so when the kid is working hard throughout school,
they don't. I mean, yes, everyone knows who your parents
might be. But really, there's different kinds of scholarships too, right.

Speaker 6 (51:50):
Some are based on merit, summer based on athletics, summer
based on finances, like financial aid is different.

Speaker 2 (51:57):
That's not a scholarship, of course, that's financially.

Speaker 9 (52:02):
Right.

Speaker 8 (52:02):
But I see everybody online Matt about this right now. Yeah,
but if you get a scholarship to SMU, you getting
some of your schooling paid for by somebody else. That's
not fair by the school. Yeah yeah, that's not fair.
But scholarship should go to somebody who is less fortunate.

Speaker 2 (52:20):
But she, first of all, she didn't even say she
was going to take the scholarship. Yeah, got offered scholarships.
She's a proud mom. You know, famous people can be
proud of their kids. Of course they can. So she's saying,
they got offered scholarships and got into every college that
they applied for, and they have they got scholarships. She's
not saying, I mean, if it's a merit based scholarship,

(52:42):
those kids to.

Speaker 5 (52:42):
Me chatting out of it.

Speaker 6 (52:44):
The school wants the kids that are going to do well, right,
So if you can't get accepted into the school. But
if she paid for it, I think someone would hate
on her for paying for it and being like, oh,
she just handed them college.

Speaker 8 (52:55):
Yes, So I mean, yeah, I wouldn't hate on her
for paying for her kids. But I just I just
think it's it's already unfair anyway.

Speaker 2 (53:03):
And now it's a good question.

Speaker 8 (53:04):
Who's to say, like, they applied for the school, Okay,
when you apply in your in missions, you got to
put dad, Mark, Anthony, mom, Jennifer Low. The school's gonna
be like, oh, that's a good look for the school
if we accept those kids, you see what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (53:19):
So that's all at all colleges, I.

Speaker 8 (53:20):
Know, but regular kids are already at a disadvantage because
your parents are famous. And I'm not knocking because I
know she worked hard. I know Mark Anthony worked hard.
But it's just not fair.

Speaker 2 (53:30):
But the Winds also have good grades, so it's not
like they didn't, right.

Speaker 6 (53:33):
I mean, you have to at some point be able
to let your kids find their own way and find
their own validation and accomplishment versus you.

Speaker 5 (53:40):
Know, mom's just paying for it.

Speaker 6 (53:41):
Maybe it was a challenge for them, like we've overcome
ADHD and struggled in the education and look at us now.

Speaker 5 (53:47):
You know we were able to.

Speaker 6 (53:48):
Make the grade to where these schools would want us
to come there.

Speaker 2 (53:51):
So what I'm saying is, of course, yeah, of course,
if it's a finite financial aid scholarship, Jo.

Speaker 5 (53:57):
You don't qualify anyway.

Speaker 1 (53:58):
You're not going to qualify for financial scholarship. So let
me ask you this.

Speaker 2 (54:01):
So, if they have a merit based scholarship, you know,
because they have all a's and they're just excellent students
or for whatever the case is, or they're just very
passionate about something and they get a scholarship, you don't think.

Speaker 1 (54:12):
They should take that scholar No, I mean that's.

Speaker 8 (54:15):
Fair, No kudos they got it pat on the back.
I'm glad you got straight a's. But if I was
in their situation, I'd be like, Okay, I at least
did it. But mom and dad, I'm gonna need you
to tell you, I don't know.

Speaker 6 (54:28):
Yeah, that's fair, but they're also eighteen, so I mean
their claim to her money is not their claim.

Speaker 5 (54:33):
They don't have any right, So I mean.

Speaker 6 (54:35):
She has to agree to pay for it, you know,
unless they're working jobs and like doing what we all
have to do.

Speaker 2 (54:41):
Which I don't know how much. Mark Anthony's worth a lot,
a lot.

Speaker 6 (54:44):
Both of them are work Yeah, and they definitely don't
need the financial aid that it comes with a scholarship.
But I understand trying to accomplish that and trying to
see if it will my essay get me this, or
will get me that.

Speaker 2 (54:58):
That's why I'm shocked that people are mad because she
said she didn't say she was even like people get
so upset about things. Yeah, and I know, yeah I
would if I were j Lo, I would absolutely not
take the scholarship.

Speaker 5 (55:10):
Tone deaf, Yeah, it's tone deaf. Yeah, I don't know
if she's accepting no.

Speaker 1 (55:14):
But we don't know. So people are all upset.

Speaker 2 (55:16):
How dare her? There's people who need this, Like she
never said she was gonna take it. Yeah, and how
do you know what she does on the other end
of this.

Speaker 6 (55:22):
Maybe she right, but it's also her kids. They have
to accept it. She can't accept the scholarship on their behalf.

Speaker 1 (55:28):
I think she has a lot of influence Cannis.

Speaker 6 (55:30):
Well yeah, but I but you know what I mean,
Like if I'm a if I'm an eighteen year old
and my mom's Jaylo and she's rich, well I can
go do what I want. I can apply for a scholarship,
and this is my burden to you know, take on,
Like I paid for college myself, right.

Speaker 2 (55:44):
No, and I think there's plenty people by the way,
you might not be worth four hundred million, but to
get scholarships that probably will be just fine and could
probably pay their way through college.

Speaker 8 (55:55):
Like at s MU there was like, uh some kind
of prints or or Arabian prints or whatever. Right, And
he what he did was not only did he pay
for his kids, but he paid for like forty other
students for him.

Speaker 1 (56:08):
That's that's awesome. All Yeah, He's like, yo, I'm paying
for all these kids.

Speaker 2 (56:12):
That's great.

Speaker 1 (56:13):
That is cool. I think that's cool.

Speaker 6 (56:15):
That's definitely see where it's cringe because you're like, well,
she could also afford tutoring and specialized education for kids,
and a lot of.

Speaker 5 (56:21):
People can't afford.

Speaker 2 (56:22):
Was she supposed to do?

Speaker 5 (56:23):
Not do that exactly? Anyone would if any would.

Speaker 2 (56:26):
When it comes to your kids, you want them to
have the best things. You want him to work hard.
You wanted to get the values that they're supposed to have,
good morals, right, not worry about the money. Teach them.
It's not all about money, but what you're not going
to have the best of the best.

Speaker 5 (56:38):
Yeah, I mean it's definitely hard.

Speaker 6 (56:40):
If they took the scholarship to see where, you know,
they would have the funds available and other people would it.

Speaker 5 (56:44):
But if they earned it, I mean that's just how
it is.

Speaker 2 (56:46):
And just because someone's rich, they have to pay for
everyone else's, like you know what I mean?

Speaker 1 (56:50):
Like that now that Saudi prints, good for him. Yeah, yeah,
that's awesome that he can do that exact Yeah.

Speaker 2 (56:55):
But j Loo, do you think she should be obligating
to pay for other kids college is now?

Speaker 8 (57:00):
No, it'd be awesome if she would, though, Yeah, I
know a couple of kids she could pay for back
to school, just saying what do you think?

Speaker 2 (57:08):
You can always let us know Mix one or two
nine FM On Instagram, it's Bairey the Kid Cannas Slow
Pants producer poo is here Cannis. How are you you good?

Speaker 3 (57:16):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (57:16):
I'm good.

Speaker 6 (57:16):
But I was gonna ask you a question because I
know you have a pool and it's summer. Would you
go to the pool and you put sunscreen on? Or
do you put sunscreen on your eyelids?

Speaker 2 (57:24):
I'm like, what, Well, I.

Speaker 6 (57:25):
Was at the pool this weekend and they said, did
you put sunscreen on your eyelids?

Speaker 2 (57:31):
No?

Speaker 5 (57:32):
Well, me neither.

Speaker 2 (57:33):
Why would I put sunscreen on my eyelid? Dude? Do
people do that?

Speaker 5 (57:36):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (57:37):
My friend told me that there's like ten percent of
skin cancers come from the eyelid.

Speaker 5 (57:40):
And I'm like, new fear, unlocked, unlock it. But I
always wear sunglasses.

Speaker 2 (57:45):
Yeah. Well, I mean I have lotion. I barely put
on sunscreen, but I have loation. Everybody relax, I have
lotion that has sunscreen in it. Yeah, so I just
put that on, but I don't really burn. I just
get brown.

Speaker 6 (57:55):
Yeah, well, I said, I put it on the bottom
of my feet when I'm like tanning out. Wait, hold on,
have you ever been on vacation and you're laying out
you have.

Speaker 5 (58:06):
To spray like your feet.

Speaker 1 (58:08):
Wait a minute, yeah, hold on.

Speaker 6 (58:12):
You put sunscreen on the bottoms purposely like laying out,
and I've got like the tanning lotion and all that stuff,
and I'll spray like on top of my feet, on
the bottom of my feet because when I flip over,
then my feet are just like pointed to the sky.

Speaker 2 (58:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (58:29):
Is that weird?

Speaker 2 (58:30):
Yes, I've never heard anybody do that in my entire life. Yeah,
I'm for sure, like, just spray put sunscreen on the
You're I'm not you're not talking about I want to
clear it up.

Speaker 1 (58:40):
You're not talking about the top of your foot.

Speaker 6 (58:41):
I put on the top of my foot toot laying out, well,
so wind out the bottom when you flip over in
your feet your face in the sky, I.

Speaker 2 (58:47):
Don't even think you're skared. Like, did you put it
on your palms?

Speaker 5 (58:50):
Well, then I rub it in. Yeah, it just goes there.

Speaker 2 (58:52):
In case you're going like with your hands up in
the air, I don't think just in case you're.

Speaker 1 (58:56):
Praising, praising Jesus while your sun tanning.

Speaker 2 (59:02):
I got s P thirty Jesus.

Speaker 1 (59:04):
Well, well, well around me, No, I don't. Do you
put it on your ear lobes?

Speaker 2 (59:11):
Uh?

Speaker 5 (59:12):
No, but I put it on my son's You.

Speaker 1 (59:14):
You burn your the bottom of your feet burn?

Speaker 5 (59:17):
I think they could. Yeah, Well, when they're facing the.

Speaker 6 (59:20):
Sky for a while, like going off to the beach,
and you're like laying out, I'm just trying to beat.

Speaker 1 (59:26):
You look at like some half brown.

Speaker 2 (59:28):
Why are you Why are the bottom of your feet
exposed to if.

Speaker 6 (59:33):
You're laying on your stomach like you're on your back right,
you're getting your son.

Speaker 5 (59:35):
You're like, oh, I should flip over.

Speaker 1 (59:37):
They're still not up in the air.

Speaker 6 (59:38):
They're still facing facing No, they're facing the sky.

Speaker 5 (59:41):
Well, okay, this must.

Speaker 6 (59:42):
Because I'm short and my feet actually lay on the.

Speaker 5 (59:46):
Tanning leg Is that why? Because you guys off the
end of the.

Speaker 1 (59:51):
They're not facing the sun.

Speaker 5 (59:53):
This is short people problem.

Speaker 2 (59:55):
Okay, I got it.

Speaker 5 (59:57):
Well think about it. If I lay down on my
stomach on.

Speaker 2 (59:59):
A you on your back and your legs were up
in the air and you.

Speaker 5 (01:00:04):
Had your do you flip over to get your back?

Speaker 2 (01:00:07):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (01:00:07):
So do you have somebody do it? For you, do you.

Speaker 5 (01:00:09):
Spray spraying the sunscreen?

Speaker 2 (01:00:13):
This might be the.

Speaker 1 (01:00:13):
Weirdest conversation I've ever had. It is, Okay, well I
don't do.

Speaker 2 (01:00:17):
That, can't it?

Speaker 5 (01:00:18):
Okay? Anyways?

Speaker 1 (01:00:19):
So no, not anyways, not at all. I'm no dermatologists.

Speaker 2 (01:00:23):
But all I know is I've never put sunscreen in
the bottom of my feet and I never will.

Speaker 5 (01:00:30):
Or your eyelids or my eyelids, I've never known that.

Speaker 2 (01:00:33):
Yeah, okay, brown anyway, And producer Pooh, do you ever
put on sunscreen? Ever? No, I made you put on sunscreen.
We walked to the State Fair of Texas. He was like, dude,
you gotta you're gonna get burned, and aren't you glad?
I did? Yes, I am glad because there's parts of
pood that have never seen the sound and they will burn.
Oh Poo's the bottom of Poo's.

Speaker 1 (01:00:54):
Feet whiter than mere white.

Speaker 2 (01:00:56):
Yeah, see him super They look like almost like not
his feet, They look like something else going on, And go.

Speaker 1 (01:01:03):
Yeah, I got I meant to tell you.

Speaker 8 (01:01:05):
I got in the argument with my son, Oh yeah,
yesterday because we're at firewheeal mall. He leaves tonight going
to this camp. My son's a camp right now and
he's heading New Mexico or whatever. But anyway, I got
in an argument because they send out a mandatory list
of stuff you're supposed to get, and I told him.
I was like, Hey, I'm fixing to go get you
these water shoes because your mom said you want to

(01:01:27):
talk about like my son is very respectful. He's like,
I got respect for you, Dad, but I'm not going
And I go.

Speaker 1 (01:01:32):
What you mean, You're gonna make him wear water shoes?

Speaker 4 (01:01:36):
Wear?

Speaker 2 (01:01:37):
And I was gonna get int the ones.

Speaker 1 (01:01:42):
They were on the list for riders Camp too, and
he wouldn't wear them.

Speaker 2 (01:01:45):
Who was out here wearing water? Don't do me like that, dad.

Speaker 6 (01:01:49):
I got kids wearing them at the water park because
they don't want to slip and fall or whatever.

Speaker 2 (01:01:53):
And I get it because I hate going to there.
You're in the lake or the ocean and something touches
your foot, Yes, slimy, you don't know what it was,
especially like Lewisville, because you ain't seeing the bottom. Nobody's
ever seen the bottom of Louisville. Who knows what's going
to touch my foot? Right, I'd rather have my foot
just bitten by something than wear a water shoes.

Speaker 5 (01:02:18):
But they make so much sense. Why aren't they cool yet?
Why isn't there a cool.

Speaker 2 (01:02:21):
Pair of water They're never gonna be.

Speaker 5 (01:02:23):
They're basically crocs, and everyone's wearing crocks.

Speaker 1 (01:02:26):
No, they're not basically crocs, Candace, They're not.

Speaker 2 (01:02:29):
No, they're like socks, water shoes, the water socks like
aqua socks. You know you should wear them, yea, that
way you wouldn't have to put sunscrew them.

Speaker 4 (01:02:42):
Tough stories with Billy Kid in the morning, only mixed
one or two point mad.

Speaker 2 (01:02:48):
Now Zan's gonna give away some a little bit later
on with which is good. I want somebody to win.
Was hoping somebody would get hooked up for us too,
But oh well, all right, Canda s low Pez. What
is going on?

Speaker 5 (01:03:00):
All those flash flood warnings and they need it.

Speaker 6 (01:03:01):
Metroplex have expired. They're now covering counties to the east
of us. There is some rain in Dallas and south
of the Metroplex still this morning. But look for a
cooler work week. We're only going to get up to
ninety today. It's seventy five right now.

Speaker 2 (01:03:14):
Only up to ninety.

Speaker 5 (01:03:15):
I know that's a good thing.

Speaker 1 (01:03:16):
In July, Yeah, it is but it's still a little
bit sticky.

Speaker 2 (01:03:19):
It's human out.

Speaker 5 (01:03:19):
Yeah, it is sticky for sure.

Speaker 1 (01:03:21):
I got yelled at for saying that by somebody on Instagram.

Speaker 5 (01:03:23):
Sticky.

Speaker 2 (01:03:24):
Yeah, they're like, stop seeing sticky.

Speaker 5 (01:03:25):
Oh that makes sense though, it's not hair day for sure.

Speaker 2 (01:03:28):
It's moist.

Speaker 5 (01:03:30):
Oh sticky, Okay, fine, sticky for sure. Guys.

Speaker 6 (01:03:33):
The FDA is recalling two lots of Pedigree canned wet
dog food. They're saying it may contain sharp fragments of
metal or plastic. So these are the thirteen point two
ounce cans of Pedigree high protein chopped chicken and duck.
They're saying they failed a quality controlled by their parent company,
mars At PetCare. They were supposed to be destroyed by

(01:03:54):
a third party, but instead, they're saying the food was
accidentally funneled back into the marketplace and sold to unknowing customers.
So just to heads up, if you're feeding your pets
that might not be safe.

Speaker 2 (01:04:06):
No, I wouldn't do that.

Speaker 1 (01:04:07):
I wouldn't even feed that to poo or myself.

Speaker 5 (01:04:09):
No, it's definitely not.

Speaker 6 (01:04:12):
Yeah, guys, remember that couple who climbed the Empire State
Building a few weeks ago, Well, they say they're doing
okay since they're arrest and are planning to announce a
special project they say is close to their hearts. So
this couple is from Russia. They were part of the
Netflix documentary Skywalker's a Love Story, but they're facing three
felony counts in four misdemeanors. So whatever they're planning it

(01:04:34):
to do. They say they're going to show their love
for New York City and it's people with this next stunt.
So I can't imagine what this is gonna entail.

Speaker 2 (01:04:42):
But they're literally Skywalkers. This is what they do, so there. Yeah,
I mean, I'm sure it's going to be something in
the sky. At what point do we love this or
do we hate it?

Speaker 5 (01:04:50):
I don't really know yet.

Speaker 6 (01:04:51):
I mean, they shouldn't be doing what they're doing. I
guess they're doing it safely and not hurting anyone, but like,
you're also disrupting everyone who was trying to go to
the Empire State that day.

Speaker 2 (01:05:00):
That and you're also wasting resources when there's police and
fire that have to respond to something like this.

Speaker 5 (01:05:06):
It's not necessary.

Speaker 2 (01:05:07):
So but it is kind of awesome to watch. I mean,
I'm not gonna lie. Yeah, to see this couple on
the top of it with no rope.

Speaker 5 (01:05:15):
I thought it was AI at first.

Speaker 2 (01:05:16):
I know, so did I. I couldn't believe that. And
I'm thinking to myself, like, this is insane that they're
first of all, I just don't get it.

Speaker 1 (01:05:22):
Yeah, but I will watch it for sure.

Speaker 5 (01:05:24):
Absolutely don't keep doing it if people keep watching it.

Speaker 2 (01:05:26):
But they were already married, right, I think so, So
it was just the stuff. Sometimes I'm like, there's no
way the Empire statement wasn't in on this. Yeah, because
how did they break in? They slept there overnight in
a little cubby hole exactly, then cut.

Speaker 1 (01:05:38):
Locks and got in. That's scary that you can do that.

Speaker 5 (01:05:40):
Yeah, for sure. I don't know. There's got to be
more to this.

Speaker 6 (01:05:44):
I'm gonna do some deep diving on the internetadcut dive.

Speaker 5 (01:05:47):
Yeah, before we go real quick, guys.

Speaker 6 (01:05:49):
Britney Spears went viral over the weekend for this picture
of her hanging out of the sun roof of a
car going down a highway.

Speaker 5 (01:05:55):
In Los Angeles.

Speaker 6 (01:05:56):
The caption said, what people see is two seconds of
it insanity of me arching me to the lords.

Speaker 2 (01:06:03):
What does that mean?

Speaker 5 (01:06:04):
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (01:06:04):
I think she says, I think I need to come
out of the sun roof quite a.

Speaker 5 (01:06:07):
Bit more so.

Speaker 1 (01:06:08):
She's hanging out the sun roof.

Speaker 5 (01:06:09):
Yeah, on the middle of the high one to one
in La. Yeah.

Speaker 6 (01:06:13):
She wasn't driving though, No, she's I don't think she's
able to drive right now because of her d UI situation.

Speaker 2 (01:06:18):
Yeah, yeah, you can't do Okay, So I don't know
who was driving now I'm one er who's driving?

Speaker 5 (01:06:22):
Yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 6 (01:06:22):
But a friend of hers apparently commented saying she used
to do this all the time as a kid growing
up in the South.

Speaker 5 (01:06:27):
I guess that's supposed to validate it.

Speaker 1 (01:06:28):
We've all done it before.

Speaker 5 (01:06:30):
I mean, I don't remember having a sunroof as a kid.

Speaker 2 (01:06:32):
But yeah, no a truck.

Speaker 8 (01:06:34):
Yeah yeah, you're always at the back of the truck,
back of the truck, or you're just you know, hanging
at the sunroof.

Speaker 2 (01:06:38):
I've done it before.

Speaker 6 (01:06:39):
Yeah, no, I have when I'm stuck in traffic, you know,
so like getting out of a concert or something.

Speaker 2 (01:06:46):
Okay, Yeah, when you're like a kid, yeah, I don't
know if you're a grown up.

Speaker 5 (01:06:49):
Well I might have done as a grown up.

Speaker 1 (01:06:51):
But did she have Kennis Did she have a bottle
of Boons.

Speaker 2 (01:06:53):
Farm in her hand? That's my chance.

Speaker 5 (01:06:55):
Let me zoom in, zoom in you let's see one.

Speaker 1 (01:06:58):
Was there a bud light in there?

Speaker 5 (01:06:59):
I don't see that either, but it's hard to tell.

Speaker 1 (01:07:01):
Remember Boons Farm, Yes, Strawberry Hill? Was it Strawberry Hill?

Speaker 2 (01:07:05):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (01:07:05):
Strawberry Apple Hill.

Speaker 2 (01:07:08):
Did she have some Marlborough lights on this picture? Okay,
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (01:07:13):
Be safe, Brittany. That's all I'm saying, Poor Brittany.

Speaker 1 (01:07:16):
We shouldn't laugh because it's serious.

Speaker 5 (01:07:17):
Yeah it is, okay?

Speaker 1 (01:07:18):
Did she have a zema? Internet?

Speaker 5 (01:07:21):
Those are your Texas top stories.

Speaker 4 (01:07:24):
This is Dirty Little Secrets.

Speaker 2 (01:07:29):
On Nick one or two point nine. Good morning, Billy
the kid Cant of Slow Pens Preducer. Who's here?

Speaker 1 (01:07:33):
Are your secrets? Your confessions?

Speaker 2 (01:07:35):
Anytime you want, even if we're not doing Dirty Little Secret,
just reach out. Sometimes people hit me up on Instagram
at Billy on the radio and they're like, I got
a secret? Can I tell this?

Speaker 1 (01:07:44):
Sometimes I'm like, no, that's too much. Oh yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:07:47):
Sometimes it's like involving people and other people. Yeah, and
I'm like, okay, we can't do that one, thank you
so much. But others ninety percent of the time, I'm like,
bring it on, Okay, you got one.

Speaker 1 (01:07:57):
What's going on?

Speaker 4 (01:07:58):
I do?

Speaker 9 (01:07:58):
So, I have a confession that happened years ago, but
I honestly carry I just carry the goat with me.

Speaker 11 (01:08:07):
I just have ever since.

Speaker 9 (01:08:08):
Okay, So I used to be in a high school teacher.
I was a teacher, but I won't say where, like
what city, because I.

Speaker 11 (01:08:17):
Don't I don't work for that district anymore, and I'm
really scared someone will recognize my boys.

Speaker 9 (01:08:24):
It was one of those schools where a lot of
famous people's kids, when you know, like politicians or successful
business owners and professional athletes. And when I first started there,
it felt so surreal, but then after a while they
were just students like everyone else.

Speaker 2 (01:08:43):
I won't say any names, but I have an idea
of where it might be one, but I don't know
if that's it. I'm not gonna it could be, you know, honest,
it could be a lot of other cities around here,
but okay.

Speaker 11 (01:08:55):
It could be a lot of cities.

Speaker 10 (01:08:57):
So there was this one student in my class who
was failing, not not like barely failing, I'm tucking failing back.

Speaker 9 (01:09:06):
His dad was a very famous athlete. But I can't
give any hints because.

Speaker 5 (01:09:11):
I do think people would figure it out.

Speaker 9 (01:09:13):
So the semester it was ending and I was pulled
aside and told to make sure that he passed by
any means necessary. Really so, yeah, And if you had
asked me before that moment what I would do, I
would have said absolutely not.

Speaker 11 (01:09:32):
I would have my integrity is not for sale, right,
But I caved.

Speaker 7 (01:09:38):
I caved, and I passed him. Really yeah, Yes, Yes,
there were reasons, a lot of pressure.

Speaker 5 (01:09:47):
There's a lot of pressure, and the part of it
is who.

Speaker 2 (01:09:51):
His father was.

Speaker 9 (01:09:52):
And it didn't hurt that the student himself was a
standout athlete himself.

Speaker 5 (01:09:59):
None of the it should have mattered.

Speaker 9 (01:10:01):
It shouldn't have mattered, but in that moment it did. Yeah,
And it changed the grade and he passed.

Speaker 2 (01:10:07):
You changed the great Wow. And I appreciate you being honest,
and I know that you're not proud of this situation
that you were in. But does this happen a lot?
I feel like it does. I don't want to say
it because I love teachers.

Speaker 1 (01:10:21):
Oh yeah, but it's just not.

Speaker 2 (01:10:23):
Fair that they're put in this position to have pressure
put on you like that. So It's not like you're
the devil for doing this, but I get why I
would bother you. Yes, thank you.

Speaker 9 (01:10:33):
I know to some people this probably doesn't sound like
the biggest scandal in the world, but it's still It
still bothers me.

Speaker 11 (01:10:39):
You know, like teachers, I became one because I believe
in fairness and accountability and earning what you get. And
in that one moment, I compromise.

Speaker 5 (01:10:51):
All of my values.

Speaker 9 (01:10:54):
It really changed how I looked at myself, and honestly,
it played.

Speaker 11 (01:10:57):
A big role and why I ended up leaving the district.

Speaker 9 (01:11:00):
And I just promised myself that I would never let
anyone pressure me into something like that again.

Speaker 11 (01:11:05):
And I don't care if it's the child of the
most famous person on the planet.

Speaker 9 (01:11:09):
If they don't earn a grade, they don't earn the grade,
right right, It's a mistake I will always regret.

Speaker 2 (01:11:17):
I could see why I would weigh on you, but
that would be tough, Like what do you do in
that situation. I'm so curious is who the famous athlete is.
But you know the fact that the matter is there's
so many in this area. Like some cities, there's not
a lot of professional athletes that are that famous. There
are a lot here, so it could be anyone. I'm
not even to go down that rabbit. It doesn't even matter.

Speaker 5 (01:11:37):
Clue.

Speaker 1 (01:11:37):
My sister taught a couple of famous athletes. But did
she ever pass it?

Speaker 2 (01:11:42):
No, she did. She wouldn't do it.

Speaker 1 (01:11:44):
No, that's what I thought.

Speaker 4 (01:11:47):
I thought.

Speaker 5 (01:11:48):
You never know, but you know what happened.

Speaker 2 (01:11:53):
Do you know if she was approached and asked to
do that?

Speaker 8 (01:11:56):
No, she was never a broad, but she did. She
did give him extra some extra credit. I do know
that we'll give you some extra credit so he could
bring his grade up to a passing.

Speaker 5 (01:12:06):
She tried to give him opportunity, opportunity out there.

Speaker 2 (01:12:09):
She wouldn't. She was never approposed. As long as you'll
give those opportunities to other students, Yeah, it's fair.

Speaker 1 (01:12:14):
Yeah, okay, Wow, Well that what a good confession.

Speaker 2 (01:12:17):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (01:12:19):
Hopefully you can move on and you're still teaching.

Speaker 11 (01:12:21):
Though, right I am, But I'm not gonna stay where.

Speaker 2 (01:12:24):
No, don't say where. But you know, good for you
for getting it off your chest. And at least you
do feel guilty. I know some people wouldn't even care. Right,
they do it again, So at least you learn from it.
But thank you for that confession. We appreciate it.

Speaker 11 (01:12:38):
Thank you all for letting me get it off my chest.

Speaker 2 (01:12:40):
Absolutely. I mean, life's not fair, it's unfortunate, but it's
you know, these advantages happen to people in positions. Yeah,
it sucks, though when you think about it, I wouldn't
do it. I'm like, no, I know, I don't think
I would. I don't.

Speaker 6 (01:12:52):
But then again, right, what if it was your like
favorite fayer.

Speaker 2 (01:12:56):
Right, or you have a family and you have like
I can't lose my job. Whether it's right or not,
I don't know. It's a lot to think about. There
you go, it's makes one or two point nine. We're

Speaker 2 (01:13:58):

Speaker 7 (01:14:05):

Speaker 5 (01:14:06):

I don't know if I've had Yeah, I have had
a facial before.

Speaker 5 (01:14:12):
I was wondering if you guys had actually had facials.

Speaker 1 (01:14:15):
I don't know if it was a real one, but
I have one, poo if you had one, No, you've
never had one.

Speaker 8 (01:14:19):
I've never had a facial. I had an ex. Try
to put that, you know, little mask. But we're talking
