How would you feel if your future spouse had no idea your family secretly refused to attend the wedding?

Today's Dirty Little Secret comes from a groom-to-be carrying a heartbreaking secret as he prepares to say "I do." While his fiancée believes they've chosen a small destination wedding because of stress, anxiety, and the complications of planning a large ceremony, that's only part of the story.

The truth is far more painful.

After learning about his fiancée's career as an online adult content creator, his deeply religious family made it clear they do not support the relationship and have no intention of attending the wedding. Instead of telling her the real reason, he's been quietly protecting her feelings while carrying the weight of his family's rejection alone.

Now he's caught between the woman he loves and the family that raised him, wondering if he's doing the right thing by keeping the truth hidden.

It's a powerful confession about love, family loyalty, judgment, acceptance, and the difficult choices people make to protect those they care about.

Will his fiancée ever find out the real reason they're eloping? And can a marriage truly thrive when one family refuses to accept it?

Love real-life drama, unbelievable confessions, hilarious debates, and Texas-sized personalities?

Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's Dirty Little Secret with Billy the Kid in the
Morning on Mix 102.9.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Brought to you by Mint Dentistry. Yes, thank you, Mint Dentistry,
for coming on board, being a partner of the show. Oh, yeah.

Speaker 3 (00:10):
If you want to do it, come on. You can
sponsor some.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
Do it. Why not, right? It's Mix 102.9. Yeah, I
double dare you. Spend some money with us. Come on,
let's go.

Speaker 3 (00:19):
It's Bailey the Kid, Candace Lopez. Producer Pooh is here.
If you've got a secret, let us know. No matter
what the secret is, just bring it. It could be
a big secret, little secret.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
And you've got one. What is going on?

Speaker 1 (00:29):
So I'm getting married soon, and my fiancée thinks that
she knows why I convinced her to basically elope, but
she actually has no idea. Originally, she wanted the whole
big wedding, both families, all her friends, and the huge reception,

(00:51):
the whole thing. But over the last few months, I've
slowly convinced her that we should do a destination wedding
with just a small group of people. And I've had
really bad anxiety. So I told her, you know, I

(01:11):
just don't think my mental health can handle a huge
wedding like kind of passed off that way. You know,
planning the money and the family drama like I just
can't do it.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
But that's not the real reason.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
No, that's partially true, but it's not the real reason.
The real reason is my family absolutely cannot stand her.
They've already told me they refuse to come to the wedding.
No way. She does not know that. She thinks my
parents probably won't come because they live on the East Coast. Like,

(01:46):
money is tight and, you know, my dad's health issues
aren't great. But the truth is they think marrying her is, like,
the worst decision I've ever made. Why?

Speaker 2 (01:58):
Okay. Why do they can't stand her? Why?

Speaker 1 (02:02):
Well, it's because of what she does for a living, basically.
She's an adult entertainer.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
Oh.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
Not like a dancer, but more like an OnlyFans type
of thing.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
Oh, God. Okay. She is an OnlyFans girl. Not a dancer.
An OnlyFans girl. I'm shocked they know this.

Speaker 3 (02:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
Right.

Speaker 1 (02:26):
And the thing is, my family is like really religious.
My parents are heavily involved in their church, like very strict,
very conservative. And when they found out what she actually does,
like everything just.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
Kind of like. Did you tell them? I mean, I'm
just curious why you would. Maybe you didn't. How did
they find out?

Speaker 1 (02:47):
Yeah, that's the crazy part. Like, I never actually told them.
I told them she worked in marketing. Then my crazy alcoholic.
My crazy alcoholic sister got mad at me one night
and decided to blow up my entire life. She told
my parents, you know, the truth and actually like sent
them pictures and videos of her stuff.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
No. So they've seen it? Yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
Oh. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
I don't know. I don't even want to ask what
that is. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (03:19):
I mean, I can kind of guess. So you said
to your parents, she's in marketing, which is not a lie, really.
I mean, there's a lot of marketing involved. She's marketing things,
certain things. So your sister, you said your alcoholic sister.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
Okay. Man, I thought I had some drama in my family.
This is awful.

Speaker 3 (03:40):
So you basically, you get all this drama for no reason.
Now your parents are like, no way we're going to,
deal with this. They just don't want anything to do
with her.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
Yeah. Like since they saw that stuff, my parents have
pretty much stopped talking to me. I occasionally talk to
my dad, but it's, it's pretty rare and they want,
they want nothing to do with her. And they've made
it like super clear that they're not supporting this marriage.
And honestly, you know, my, my brother's probably the only
person from my family who might actually come.

Speaker 2 (04:10):
And See, that's not ideal at all.

Speaker 3 (04:15):
It's not ideal, but also to like for them to
stop talking to you. That's I'm not saying they'd be
happy about, you know, future wife and what she does.
But to stop talking to their son because of it.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
And it kills me because they don't even know her.
You know, like she's probably the sweetest, most kind hearted
woman I've ever dated. And I've dated plenty of like
church going women in the past. And I can tell you,
you know, a couple of them were some of the
meanest people I've ever been with. So, you know, I'm
not judging somebody's heart based on what they do for

(04:49):
work or what they sit in the church every Sunday.
You know, I love her, honestly. And, you know, I'm
marrying her. If my family can't accept that, then honestly,
I'm prepared to choose her, I guess.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
And you don't want to tell her what's going on
and just be honest about it?

Speaker 1 (05:06):
I haven't told her. I just don't, I don't have
the heart to tell her. Like it was supposed to
be like one of the happiest times of our lives,
you know, and I wouldn't want to dump all that
on her.

Speaker 3 (05:15):
Can you have a happy relationship in a marriage if
your parents and your family doesn't accept your partner?

Speaker 2 (05:21):
That's difficult. That would weigh on me so hard.

Speaker 3 (05:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
Doesn't make it easy.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
Right.

Speaker 2 (05:27):
But is it possible? I'm sure it is.

Speaker 3 (05:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:29):
I mean, if you're going to just disconnect from your
family and maybe they'll come around.

Speaker 1 (05:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:34):
You know, I don't know if this is something she said.
Grandkids come someday and they're back in the picture. Right. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (05:39):
I mean, I get they're really religious. And but sometimes
you just I don't know. You got to put things
aside and go. I don't agree with what you do.
It's like politics to me. I don't have to agree
on all your politics. I still will look at you
as a human.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
Right.

Speaker 2 (05:51):
If she treats you good, they should be happy with that.
But is she also going to do OnlyFans forever?

Speaker 1 (05:56):
I mean, I don't know if it'll be a forever thing. But, yeah,
I would hope that there could be some possibility in
the future.

Speaker 3 (06:04):
It doesn't bother you what she does? Obviously, you've kind
of accepted it. It sounds like it, at least.

Speaker 2 (06:09):
It probably don't. She makes a lot of money. It
wouldn't bother me.

Speaker 1 (06:12):
I've accepted it. It's like what she kind of enjoys doing. And,
you know, I try to support her. It's not my
favorite thing in the world, but... And, you know, it
is what it is. And I think she's a great
person despite any of it.

Speaker 2 (06:26):
I don't think you'd be happy.

Speaker 3 (06:27):
Pooh acts like he'd be happy if his girl was
doing OnlyFans and made money.

Speaker 2 (06:31):
I don't think you'd be happy. Is she paying for everything? Yes,
I would. I would truly be happy. Pooh says she's
paying for everything. I'm just saying. I'm talking about in
my situation, not his. But in my situation, I'm not
going to argue with somebody who's bringing in all that money.
I mean, whatever makes someone happy. It wouldn't be my thing. Right.
That's all I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (06:47):
I don't have the security in me to be able
to emotionally secure to deal with someone who does that.
But if you do and you're happy, that's all that matters.

Speaker 2 (06:56):
So good luck with everything. And yeah, let us know
what happens if you can. Okay.

Speaker 1 (07:01):
Sure. I will. Thanks.

Speaker 2 (07:02):
And who wants to subscribe? If you want to drop it,
send me that link. I'm just playing. I say Pooh's
getting a little too old, though, to be a sugar baby.
Why do you say that? I mean, if there's a
rich girl, she's not going to go for the, you know,
an older guy.

Speaker 3 (07:15):
I feel like if she's going for a sugar baby,
she's going.

Speaker 2 (07:17):
To go young. I'm young-ish-er than what? What's the age limit?
It's definitely below 50. Below 40? What, for a sugar baby?

Speaker 3 (07:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (07:30):
You got to be under.

Speaker 1 (07:30):
A little 30?

Speaker 2 (07:31):
You got to be under 30.

Speaker 3 (07:32):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (07:33):
Definitely under 40 to be a sugar baby. Yeah, for sure.
No one's out here with a 50-year-old sugar baby. What
is the woman, 90? She might be. And she got
a social security check. If you can't say it, you
don't deserve it.
