Good morning, Happy Friday. Let's go it's Friday, get high.
But I keep forgetting it's Friday.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
I know.

Speaker 1 (00:11):
It just feels a kind of blo outside. They're saying
a chance of storms. It's making it feel like a
Monday out. I don't appreciate that, Mother Nature. A slight
chance of a storm. We'll see. The weekend looks good though, hot,
high's upper nineties and sunny.

Speaker 3 (00:23):
All right, Dirty Little Secret is on.

Speaker 1 (00:25):
If you have a secret eight three three seven eight
seven one two nine, it doesn't matter what it's about.

Speaker 3 (00:29):
It's a non judgment zone.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
It could be a silly secret, a serious secret, whatever
you got, and you have one.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
Okay, So I know this is probably one of the
weirdest confessions you've ever heard. But I've spent most of
my life telling people I'm Mexican and that's not.

Speaker 3 (00:50):
Wait, you're telling people you're Mexican but you're not.

Speaker 2 (00:54):
You're not. I know it's ridiculous, and you guys can
laugh at if of myself too, But honestly, it's it's
just become such a habit, like I don't even think
about it anymore.

Speaker 3 (01:06):
How does this become a habit?

Speaker 2 (01:07):
Why?

Speaker 3 (01:09):
Why you what you do? What is happening?

Speaker 2 (01:12):
Well, the funny thing is, like I I kind of
look like I could be because I'm pretty dark complexed,
so nobody ever questions it. And almost all my friends
are Mexican or Hispanic, and I've even dated almost exclusively
Hispanical when in my whole life, and I'm I've just
always felt like that's where I fit in.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
Oh oh, I mean yeah, Mexican culture, like you want
people to fit in everybody's family. I can relate to that,
you know. I always say if i'm if I should
have been.

Speaker 3 (01:41):
Born Mexican, Yeah, honorary.

Speaker 1 (01:43):
Yeah, but I don't I should. I don't fake it.
Maybe I should start faking it.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
Yeah, Billy went to the years ago. You never never left, No,
I never, I'm still there. I just love it.

Speaker 1 (01:54):
I love the food, the parties, the music, the people,
the culture, the the women.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
Yeah. Right, oh my god, I do yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
Yeah. And it's funny like the same thing with me,
like because like I I loved oh and it actually
started in high school with a girl because my biggest
crush was on this girl and somebody told me that
she only dated Mexican guys, so yeah, yeah, you know
where this is going. Yeah, so when she asked me

what I was, I said I'm Mexican. She believed me,
and somehow just it just stucked. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
I love that.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
It started because in high school you had a crush
on yeah Latina. All of a sudden, you're like, you
know what, Oh she likes Mexicans. Well oh lah, yeah,
they call me yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:48):
Yeah, yeah, my my Mexican nickname was actually Pablo.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
Okay, I'm not mad at that.

Speaker 3 (02:59):
So you just kind of went with it.

Speaker 1 (03:01):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (03:02):
Yeah. Like after that, every new group of people I met,
they just assumed I was Hispanic, and in step corrected them.
I would just roll with it. Then I'd tell people
I was half Mexican, and after saying that enough times,
it just became my default answer.

Speaker 3 (03:16):
But you're not are you? But you're not a Mexican
at all.

Speaker 2 (03:20):
That's the crazy part. My family isn't Mexican and all.
Like I can eat all the tacos and drink tequila
all I want, it's not going to happen. It's just
it's not there.

Speaker 3 (03:30):
That's funny. Oh this is hysterical.

Speaker 1 (03:32):
I'm gonna start calling you Pablo, then, yeah, so you've
been doing this for a long time.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
Yeah. Yeah. And and my family they're probably listening and
wondering why I've been doing this for like twenty years,
but I just don't have a good answer.

Speaker 3 (03:44):
You're just going with it. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
Yeah, it is kind of a weird, weird lie. Oh yeah,
but oh yeah, hey whatever, I mean.

Speaker 3 (03:51):
Course lies out there.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
Yeah yeah, yeah, of course, I know a lot of people,
you know what, I know people who lie about being
Native American scholarships. They're trying to get scholarships. While yeah,
I don't know what they're lying for. But that was
like a weird flex when we were younger. Yeah, wasn't
that weird?

Speaker 3 (04:07):
I mean it was kind of cool. It was.

Speaker 1 (04:09):
I thought I was Native American my entire life until
I did that DNA test and my whole family lied
to me. Yeah, I mean my grandmother they made it
sound like we were living in.

Speaker 3 (04:17):
TP's back in the day, and then I'm not even.

Speaker 1 (04:19):
One I'm not even one percent anything Native American. Wow.
My mama had cousins that had light eyes and had
that long hair, and she'd be like, oh, I'm part Cherokee.

Speaker 3 (04:30):
Yeah, that's what I was playing. I was told yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
I'm like, well, yeah, it's funny with that. I was
told blackfoot, I did the DNA test. I didn't see
any in there, but maybe I don't know that I
could be lying about being Mexican and Native American.

Speaker 3 (04:48):
Yeah, well rough. I told my mom that.

Speaker 1 (04:50):
I was like, Mom, we're not Native American at all.
I did a DNA test. She goes, well, those things lie.
They don't know what they're doing. I'm like, I don't
know if that's I think we were lied to.

Speaker 3 (05:02):
Whatever.
