Speaker 1 (00:00):
Good's but all Brian Dick, Ferguson, Grant Smith are with
you five six six nine zero. The text line is
always and I think I'm actually going to get into
the text line here just a minute. It looks like
they finally sent me the code. Dear Grant, So all
that pre show worry for nothing. It's been messed up
all day, man, And so is my email. I don't
know what's going on. Well your oh, your email's been
(00:20):
messed up all day as well, my uh, your eyeart email.
Speaker 2 (00:25):
Yes, okay, sorry, I'm laughing about something bit furthers at
taking here, and I'm trying to like walk.
Speaker 3 (00:31):
Hey man, I'm just trying to keep the party going.
That's all I'm trying to do. Just keep the party going.
Speaker 2 (00:36):
Want to bring those comments on here, I don't need to. Okay,
good call, I mean good call.
Speaker 4 (00:41):
As long as you know and I know that you
know that you and I know, then we good the
song to psych. I know that you know that I know.
Speaker 2 (00:49):
No one likes that show besides you, Ben.
Speaker 1 (00:50):
Well, that's because you guys have the our own cultured
swine and don't have any we are and don't have
any taste.
Speaker 4 (00:59):
Talk about the same guy who liked the Silken wind Hound.
Speaker 2 (01:02):
Yes, right, I think you're proving my point.
Speaker 3 (01:04):
No, No, I did not.
Speaker 4 (01:06):
No, you can prove my point here just saying it
has been uh, it's been a day.
Speaker 2 (01:13):
Yeah, I had a joke lined up there, but I
just kept that one to myself.
Speaker 4 (01:16):
Good for you.
Speaker 1 (01:19):
It has been Uh, it's been an interesting day. The
Ravens hired Jesse Mentor as their next head coach. If
you're listening to the show, you knew that was coming
for several weeks. But uh, I'm gonna call the AFC
Championship game Jumbalaya.
Speaker 4 (01:30):
Why are you calling them.
Speaker 2 (01:31):
Jama because this is getting spicy.
Speaker 1 (01:33):
Spicy, it's a spicy like nobody's even paying attention to
the Rams and Seahawks. Meanwhile, we've got people, we got
a whole city out here that changed their profile pictures
to Jared Stidham. We got, we got, we got, we
got a head coaches talk about the fans need to
cheer loud because they're gonna be uh, they're gonna be
(01:53):
rested for two weeks. We got hatreous players talking about
thinking arrested cant Con. But we got Broncos players talking
about who who the.
Speaker 2 (02:00):
Heck is that guy?
Speaker 5 (02:03):
Yes?
Speaker 3 (02:03):
You know what this reminds me of. Are you a
fan of wrestling? Are you okay wrestling? I know I
said wrestling great. Are you a fan of wrestling?
Speaker 5 (02:14):
No?
Speaker 1 (02:15):
God, dang, I think my I think the the monologue
from the Ladies Man sums up wrestling when Will Ferrell's like, oh,
what is there not to like about wrestling? It's it's
two men oiled up grappling.
Speaker 2 (02:31):
Yeah, I'm good. I'm good. You know, I'm a rare
one here that's a big fan of the Pat McFee show.
Whenever they talk about wrestling. I know that's my time
to go around and do my chores around the house.
Speaker 4 (02:41):
Well, my whole point it's you two. I don't like wrestling.
Speaker 2 (02:45):
It culture swine.
Speaker 4 (02:48):
Now, yes, you two.
Speaker 3 (02:50):
The idea is that this speaks to wrestling, you know, wrestling.
We know it's not real, right, it's a bunch of
actors and it's drama field, right, And this is the
perfect kind of lead up to it. You got back
and forth Serve and Volley. Who can say the most
bullet to boll material before the.
Speaker 4 (03:09):
Game is being played? I like it, right, I like
the trash talk.
Speaker 3 (03:15):
Now, I wasn't a trash type and talking type of
person when I play, but I can appreciate you. Well,
I'm still no no, but but I enjoy it. I'm
here for it because it only really drives the game.
I mean, think think about Muhammad Ali during his day.
(03:37):
Both he and Don King, they got they have to
sell a fight.
Speaker 4 (03:39):
Yeah, you're selling the fight.
Speaker 1 (03:41):
If he hadn't said, you know, float like a butterflush
thing like me, if he'says, well, my opponent is actually
a very technically good boxer and.
Speaker 3 (03:49):
Fection.
Speaker 4 (03:49):
Yes, so I love it.
Speaker 3 (03:52):
I love it.
Speaker 4 (03:53):
Sometimes you got to bring the.
Speaker 3 (03:55):
Time.
Speaker 2 (03:56):
You gotta bring the showmanship.
Speaker 4 (03:57):
Of course, that's what it's this time.
Speaker 3 (03:59):
He years about the showmanship, right, don't wear your heart
on your sleeve. You gotta take it out down the
guy's tests.
Speaker 1 (04:06):
How did you have to do like like Indiana Jones
a temple of doom Kali ma Yes, ripping the heart
out finish him?
Speaker 2 (04:17):
Utterly ridiculous.
Speaker 1 (04:18):
Yeah, I mean, nobody's paying attention to the Rams and Seahawks.
No one is paying attention to that game, and ostensibly
which have our team emerges from there is gonna be
the betting favorite of the Super Bowl. Yeah, I mean
those are on paper the better two teams. Nobody is
paying attention.
Speaker 3 (04:35):
To that game.
Speaker 2 (04:36):
Everybody is talking about Broncos Patriots.
Speaker 4 (04:39):
So what do you make of the comments?
Speaker 3 (04:40):
Because this has happened before against the Jackson Jaguars, and
it was said that the comments were taken out of context.
Speaker 4 (04:50):
Do we have the same situation here sort of?
Speaker 1 (04:53):
I mean Sean Payton was saying that the fans needed
to yell their hearts out for this one because they're
gonna have two weeks to rest afterwards.
Speaker 2 (05:00):
Minimum, That's really what he was.
Speaker 1 (05:02):
Saying there, and he got you know, we have yet
another coach that is taking what the context of this
and turning it into motivation for his guys brilliantly, just
like Leo Comb did with the small market thing.
Speaker 5 (05:19):
Well, they're gonna have plenty of rest after this one
two weeks. I can't. This is a team at the
line of scrimmage that does a lot like Josh's is
fantastic and putting together good plans offensively, I mean he
and so there's alerts, there's kills, there's all and so
that look, let's go, you know, right when again I
(05:43):
keep emphasizing is just as the huddle begins until the
ball snap.
Speaker 1 (05:50):
Well, there you go, I mean, and what he's saying
there the context of that is fans scream loud, you know,
interrupt their leak at the line of scrimmage because you
know you're going to have at least two weeks off
so for the next time you need deal.
Speaker 4 (06:02):
So two weeks that that means what exactly.
Speaker 1 (06:06):
Well, if you win, then you have two weeks off.
If you lose, then you got a whole off season off.
Speaker 3 (06:12):
And Rabel or I'm not gonna say even Rabel, because
Rabel didn't bring this up. It was actually brought to
his attention.
Speaker 2 (06:21):
Oh oh was it? It was not planted by their
there Patrick's smith didn't go.
Speaker 1 (06:25):
To the or anything and say, well, I mean I
asked this question, so Mike's got a good answer.
Speaker 3 (06:29):
Unless you know something I don't, because it looked like
it was just kind of just organically occurrent.
Speaker 2 (06:35):
Does it look like it's organic?
Speaker 1 (06:37):
I mean, allegedly allegedly White Rabel had not heart, you know,
so allegedly that I.
Speaker 4 (06:43):
Don't, but I know this.
Speaker 3 (06:46):
Coaches would try to find any way to motivate their
players right, but case Embodi.
Speaker 4 (06:51):
I guess man, this case wasn't playing allegedly. No, I
heard that, Yes, And here's what he had to.
Speaker 2 (06:58):
Say, Not that you guys did any extra motivation, but
did you see the Shampi quote insinuating that Denver fans
will have some extra rest for the super and I
was saying City two weeks for the rest of basically
see that. Man, if you guys don't get wrestling, can't guy? Yeah.
First of all, that reporter butchering the question there saying that, well,
(07:18):
he was spinning it to get a sound bite from.
Speaker 1 (07:23):
A lisit of response, and he was trying to say
that the Broncos were saying that game was was a
rest to get through.
Speaker 2 (07:28):
Yeah. Thanks.
Speaker 4 (07:30):
So you know what, this is what I hate about
your media types.
Speaker 3 (07:32):
Whoa whoa? What do you mean?
Speaker 2 (07:33):
You people?
Speaker 3 (07:34):
What do you mean? What do you mean? You you
media types? Whoa someone to make a comment without twisting
and turning and turning into Nce Steel and.
Speaker 4 (07:44):
Making it what you want to your media type, don't
look at me, you are It's not my brand, you
know any people to do that.
Speaker 1 (07:53):
I'm the guy that deconstructs that stuff usually, which is
why everybody hates me, but whatever, take all the fun
out of it.
Speaker 3 (07:58):
Say, you know what, this is why we can't get
a hit. You know, the media is always the.
Speaker 4 (08:02):
Media keeping it down.
Speaker 2 (08:03):
Yes, all powerful media.
Speaker 3 (08:05):
It's not the man, it's the media.
Speaker 2 (08:07):
Nick. You know you are part of the media.
Speaker 3 (08:09):
Now.
Speaker 2 (08:10):
I was just waiting. I was just gonna sit here,
nod and waiting.
Speaker 4 (08:12):
What do you think you do?
Speaker 5 (08:13):
Now?
Speaker 2 (08:14):
What do you think this is? What is it you
think you do here?
Speaker 4 (08:18):
I'm actually.
Speaker 3 (08:20):
I thought this was sharing with friends. That's what I thought.
Speaker 4 (08:25):
Little the thing right in front of you with the
light on it, like, what do you what do you
think that is? Where do you think that goes?
Speaker 2 (08:29):
Well?
Speaker 3 (08:29):
I thought that, you know, I would come in every
night and I would just share with my friends, right,
I mean you guys, yes, yes, oh and bad the
way that people listening.
Speaker 4 (08:40):
Oh, by the way, just between us and Nick, you
people people.
Speaker 2 (08:47):
Oh man, well you mean man?
Speaker 4 (08:50):
What are these people are?
Speaker 2 (08:52):
Man?
Speaker 3 (08:53):
They're making this game so much better. And here's here's
the I guess the shame of it all. Why is
it that the Broncos are playing at one right?
Speaker 1 (09:02):
Because the marquee matchup is the other two teams when
your quarterback goes down.
Speaker 4 (09:07):
That's that's the way the broadcast thing works.
Speaker 6 (09:09):
Meanwhile, everybody's invested in the one o'clock game, Yes, exactly.
Speaker 2 (09:13):
You think it'd be four thirty if if Bonex was playing. No,
it was predetermined which which was gonna be which West Coast, right,
It was already pre it was pre determined, the AFC
NFC portion of it before all that.
Speaker 4 (09:25):
Yeah, before the games were played last week, we already
knew what time.
Speaker 2 (09:29):
I mean, I thought the Broncos got the shaft last
week playing the early Saturday game.
Speaker 1 (09:34):
Well, yeah, but they also got an extra day. You know,
the the Bills had to play on Sunday, so we
got an extra day against them.
Speaker 4 (09:41):
So that's that's good.
Speaker 2 (09:43):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (09:44):
So here's the thing.
Speaker 3 (09:46):
So over under, what team is going to say something
else before Saturday?
Speaker 6 (09:51):
Oh, the Broncos are definitely gonna say something between between us,
we all know it's either gonna be Sir Tam but
you know, or Cooper, Like we all know, we all
know who are we monitored. Do we have the tweet
deck up for those three feeds because it's gonna be
one of those moods here.
Speaker 2 (10:06):
We need to have the tweet deck My money is
on Coop ye probably he's not scared to say what.
Speaker 4 (10:11):
He Benito is a two to one dark horse here.
Speaker 2 (10:13):
That's true. I'm just saying those von Miller comments a
couple of weeks ago.
Speaker 3 (10:18):
So the betting odds are right now on John the
Cooper with Nick Benito in a close second.
Speaker 2 (10:26):
Well and PS two already said something, right, Ben, I
think you said who when he was asked about you
know those comments from Khambo. Yeah, like the the can't
coon comment or whatever.
Speaker 3 (10:38):
I'm manad to take those odds. You know, you know
I'm not. I'm not a gambling man. But based on
the fact that who we're talking about, why, Ben nodded
his head like, Nick, do you really want this action?
Speaker 1 (10:53):
I'm getting him close. I'm close to having tempted him
into wagering.
Speaker 2 (10:57):
I'm close. You've already messed him up enough.
Speaker 4 (10:59):
He got him on the Oh god, that never yeah,
that never happened.
Speaker 2 (11:03):
That totally happened. We said that one got out on
the podcast.
Speaker 4 (11:07):
It did make it out of the podcast, Like, wait
a minute.
Speaker 3 (11:11):
That still never happened. I never said anything.
Speaker 1 (11:15):
Nick is employing the the from the Shaggy Defense right now.
Wasn't you listen if you didn't see me do it?
Speaker 2 (11:23):
Then literally caught you on the microphone. I heard you
do it? Look at each other like?
Speaker 1 (11:31):
It makes like look at us? What are they looking
at each other for? I was like, this is like
the other day on Tuesday when Rod clearly you know
what I'm talking about. David and I were looking at
each other.
Speaker 4 (11:40):
You see what that being said? How do you know
it was me?
Speaker 1 (11:42):
You know?
Speaker 2 (11:42):
We all looking like I don't think you do. It's tough.
I can't tell me and Nick apart honestly look in
the mirror.
Speaker 3 (11:50):
He sure wasn't Ron Smith? You sure?
Speaker 2 (11:54):
I'm pretty sure. I was so flabbergasted that I almost
didn't hit the dumb button, So like, no way that's
coming from Nick fergus Did I miss hear that?
Speaker 4 (12:03):
That's that's what I was looking at?
Speaker 2 (12:04):
Grant? I was like, did I miss hear that?
Speaker 4 (12:05):
Or do we need to dumb that?
Speaker 3 (12:06):
Bless you and I both, because I don't remember Nick
Ferguson even saying it.
Speaker 2 (12:11):
Now you're referring to yourself a third person.
Speaker 4 (12:13):
Luckily the tape we can't air. We just can't go
the air that it never happened.
Speaker 3 (12:19):
It's like a tree falling in the woods. If you're
not there to see it fall.
Speaker 4 (12:22):
Guess what did it make it sound? Yes, No, it didn't.
Speaker 2 (12:26):
Right, definitely still made a sound. We're all okay, so
you're on Cooper. I'll take the Benito cart I'll take
that one. I think definitely Coop. Someone asked him the question.
Speaker 4 (12:38):
Someone has to ask him the question. Can't any of
that well, because then I'll go ask it tomorrow. Then
that's cheating.
Speaker 2 (12:45):
Then I'm gonna get a responsible all three of them.
I'm gonna write all three of them. It's like the
last bet we had about someone saying something okay, but
then I got nullified.
Speaker 1 (12:53):
Right, I should have won that bit too. No, it
was a clear nullification. There was a clear nullifications and
it actually happened. Then I think it went under the
under exactly. The sportsbook disqualified because not the not all
the conditions were met.
Speaker 2 (13:10):
Gambling problem caller text one gambler. Oh oh man.
Speaker 3 (13:15):
We have to somehow, I guess, encourage someone to maybe
ask a leading question.
Speaker 2 (13:24):
I have I have just the person for this.
Speaker 3 (13:26):
Right, because okay, here's what we know. We know on
the left side for the Patriots. They have two rookie
guys right, one drafted in the first round, one drafted
in the third round. Their first round Drift Pike was
drafted out of l s U. Pretty dull, good college player.
Speaker 5 (13:41):
Right.
Speaker 3 (13:42):
So again, left side, that's John Ley Cooper's side.
Speaker 1 (13:47):
No, that's Nick Benito's side. John Cooper usually rushed. If
you are standing behind the offensive line the right hand. Oh, okay,
you're you're talking. You're coming from the defensive side. I'm
stay of the officer.
Speaker 2 (13:57):
Yes, that is coming from the defensive I know.
Speaker 4 (14:00):
Everybody else's side that plays Madden.
Speaker 2 (14:02):
Where we're looking at this from.
Speaker 3 (14:03):
Yeah, there's only one way to see it from right,
see it from defensive perspective, so you can see the
entire field.
Speaker 1 (14:11):
Yeah, you're not blitzing my left. You're going up against
the there you go. Yeah, yeah, John Cooper will be
over there. You'll get some some rotational you know, from
from some of the other other guys. That's the John
Franklin Meyers side.
Speaker 3 (14:26):
Yes, so so. So the two guys I'm talking about
is Will Campbell left gard left tackle and Jerry Wilson,
who is the left guard. Right.
Speaker 4 (14:35):
Yes, yep, I I.
Speaker 2 (14:38):
That's what the first thing I saw on tape. Those
guys are exploitable.
Speaker 4 (14:43):
So I wonder how Jos mcdan is going to handle that.
Speaker 1 (14:46):
I wonder if they're going to try to try to
translate to quick game, transfer to quick game and some
other stuff.
Speaker 4 (14:51):
Because they are a team that get sacked a lot too.
I would run the ball.
Speaker 3 (14:55):
I mean, because you anticipated with two young guys like
that and you put them in a situation where you're
forcing them to pass. We take a lot now, I
would run the ball to kind of slow those edge
rushers down and then for them their their goal is
going to to stay out at third long situations.
Speaker 4 (15:14):
Well, they do.
Speaker 1 (15:15):
Run the ball wide, but they get sacked on eight
point seventy two percent of their dropbacks, almost nine percent.
Speaker 2 (15:21):
That's justin Field's territory. That is, we get sacked a lot.
Speaker 3 (15:24):
That's why you run the ball. For getting drop backs,
play on the center a lot.
Speaker 4 (15:29):
They run the ball. It's a pretty even split.
Speaker 1 (15:31):
They threw the ball four hundred and ninety two times
this year if you count the Josh Dobbs pass attempts
five hundred and two, so about five hundred times, and
they ran the ball just a little bit over four
hundred times, so it's a pretty even split for them.
Speaker 2 (15:44):
What's our split?
Speaker 3 (15:45):
Do you know?
Speaker 1 (15:46):
You don't bother running the ball ever, I would just
like to know what the comparison I can tell you.
Give me a second, I'll pull it back up.
Speaker 2 (15:52):
I'm scared of that. I'm eight twenty maybe I think
eighty eight twenty, maybe seventy five.
Speaker 4 (15:57):
I don't even quite that high.
Speaker 2 (15:59):
I think it's seventy thirty.
Speaker 1 (16:01):
Let's see here we had the most dropbacks at six
hundred and twelve, and then our rushing attempts, it.
Speaker 4 (16:07):
Looks like three hundred and some change, so sixty eight percent.
Speaker 2 (16:13):
We are seventy seventy thirty.
Speaker 4 (16:15):
Basically, yes, And in this game I was not too
far off, not too far off. But in this particular game.
Speaker 3 (16:22):
Known as though Jared Siddam is coming in the game.
He is very mobile, but he is not as athletic as.
Speaker 4 (16:29):
Bo nicks and knows.
Speaker 3 (16:30):
The Broncos have not been able to establish the run game.
Speaker 4 (16:34):
It is as a game where they get it going,
and how do they get it going?
Speaker 2 (16:38):
With a return of JK. Dobbins, maybe maybe we'll see
He's looked all right so far. A little limit. He's
been limited both days, but he looked all right.
Speaker 3 (16:45):
We'll say, what do you think realistically, I know you're
not a doctor which stayed out a holiday inn. Realistically,
what do you think the chances are that he would
possibly be.
Speaker 2 (16:55):
Playing this game? Well, first of all, I am a
doctor of awesome. How dare you short me on myreing there? Uh?
Speaker 1 (17:01):
As far as the rest of it goes man true
coin flip, we'll call it fifty five forty five. I
lean towards he's active over It's trending that way, but
we're not there yet, so I don't want to. You
know how it is when I say something and then
people run with it, and then they come go and
you know, and I'm tired of these mealy mouthed little
(17:22):
weirdos that do that stuff. South Yeah, take they take.
They'll take something I say, stretch it to the ends of.
Speaker 2 (17:31):
Credulity and be like you're wrong. Yeah, I'm good, good
on that. I wonder how much that has to do
with me just hammering the wet blanket all break.
Speaker 4 (17:40):
I don't know, Between you and Ryan, there is a
whole bunch of that out there.
Speaker 1 (17:43):
Like I'm the driest blanket alive on Jared Stiddam. You
could call me the Zach Stevens of hyping up Jared Stidham.
At this point, I am the driest blanket alive. And
then it's still it's oh you hate BOONEX, and I'm like,
gotta be kidding, you, gotta be well, you gotta take
a break.
Speaker 4 (17:58):
I'll be back, wet blanket all Bright.
Speaker 3 (18:06):
Sitting here with one Benjamin all Bright. Yes, you guys
didn't really expect us to come up with that kind
of boute, but we did. And the Broncos are going
to look to spank a little boote. Oh Sunday, see
what I did, dere Gret.
Speaker 2 (18:21):
I like that you like that there is no boute
in the zone.
Speaker 3 (18:25):
You know, last game, the only buddy you want an
enzoe are all Broncos players, Right, That's all That's exactly,
that is all you want.
Speaker 4 (18:34):
Last last time, we.
Speaker 3 (18:35):
Were talking about all the back and forth trash talk
that's taking place between these two teams. Grant and I
don't know about you, but I like the trash talk.
I like the way that it builds up the game.
And this can be very spirited game. And I'm using
the word operative, words spirited, because there's usually some other
(18:57):
extra expletives that are used.
Speaker 2 (18:59):
Between players to save those for off air. This time,
I have no idea what you say. You should have
seen the break.
Speaker 4 (19:05):
We've got spirit, Yes we do. We've got spirit. How
about you? That's all I need, is Nick Ferguson pepper All.
Speaker 2 (19:12):
I'm surprised you haven't got down there with the Denver
Broncos cheerleaders before. Well, well, when you were doing like
the halftime stuff, and you know what, I.
Speaker 3 (19:21):
Usually you were.
Speaker 2 (19:22):
You were here when that was taking place. Right now.
Speaker 3 (19:25):
I did get down there with the cheerleaders, but I
didn't do the pomp on things or whatever.
Speaker 4 (19:29):
But I got my groove on, man, I got my
groove on.
Speaker 3 (19:32):
But due to the way things are working out now,
the way my bank account is set up, uh not
everyone can get on the field. It's a little different now,
a little you know, security measures. You guys take it
on the field security, don't you start? That was very
funny speak of a spicy don't you stop? Let them go?
Speaker 2 (20:00):
Oh? I love it.
Speaker 4 (20:02):
Yeah, this one is like I said, it's building up
like a prize fight.
Speaker 2 (20:06):
Man.
Speaker 1 (20:06):
There's something to this and I don't know if it's
renewing the Patriots Broncos rivalry from the you know, from
the earlier two thousands and all another stuff.
Speaker 2 (20:16):
I don't know if that's what's back or whatever.
Speaker 4 (20:18):
That's that's what's back. I mean, Okay, So to set the.
Speaker 3 (20:22):
Scene for you, there's been so many you know, battles,
Tom Brady, Peyton Manning. Then what happened in twenty fifteen,
like the Patriots that moved the ball down the field.
Tom sees a large man and Rob Gonkowski and he's thinking, oh,
I got a touchdown here. Oh no, Bradley Roby has
an I int and changed the whole trajectory on the game.
(20:46):
And the Broncos and the sheriff head to Viva Stadium
for the Super Bowl. So there's so many storylines coming
into this game, and it brings me back to something
that for me, I want to go back in history
for just a second, when we and back in two
thousand and six, we played the Patriots in a divisional
round and we beat them, and that season we beat
(21:09):
them twice.
Speaker 4 (21:10):
And then there is a very.
Speaker 3 (21:15):
Fundamentally sound play that took place, which is one of
the NFL's top one hundred plays you might have heard
of it if it's a chat Bailey interception. And I think,
if I'm not mistaken, chat Bailey will be planting with
flag this game, and I would only think that he's
only coming back to playing the flag to commemorate that
particular moment. But there's a part of that play that
(21:40):
hasn't really been discussed.
Speaker 4 (21:43):
Do either of you guys know what I'm referring to?
Speaker 2 (21:46):
Does damn right?
Speaker 1 (21:48):
It does?
Speaker 4 (21:50):
Dam righty does?
Speaker 3 (21:51):
Chat Bailey doesn't get that interception without yours truly making
it happen. So there's a lot of storylines that go
into this game. So it's going to be really and
the sound is going to be deafening, an empower field
for sure.
Speaker 2 (22:06):
I'm looking forward to it.
Speaker 1 (22:08):
I went back, I started looking at at some New
England stuff from this season, and they were a weird
like the first month of the season, they're not the
same team that they are now. Like you go back
and watch stuff in the first month of the season
with them, they're not now what I will say, their
defense started leaking oil against the run over the last
(22:28):
month and a have. They are are three worst rushing
performances as a defensive all come post Week fifteen. Who
are those running backs and who are those teams? One
of them was the Jets. I think one of them
was Buffalo, which of course gets everybody. I'd have to
go back think Baltimore maybe was one of them.
Speaker 4 (22:47):
Baltimore, definitely, I believe was one of them.
Speaker 3 (22:50):
If you have a monster like Derrick Henry, you have
to expect that you got to give up some yards
on the ground for sure.
Speaker 1 (22:56):
Let's see, it was the Bills, Ravens, Jets, and Dolphins
the US A tang for Miami and they well really
the yeah, but they only had sixty three yards, but
the Dolphins only give us I'm sorry that that was
the one game they actually held. So they had a
streak here against Tampa, the Jets, the Bengals, the Giants,
and this is Week thirteen Giants, not the Scantibo Giants.
(23:19):
They had the bye week the Bills, Ravens, and Jets,
in which they all they give up one hundred and
forty yards like every one of those games, one hundred
and forty plus every one of those games after having
been a tight rush defense pretty much all year.
Speaker 3 (23:34):
So well, it is gonna make things interesting because just
like the Buffalo game. They were ranked twenty eighth and
we all thought the Broncos would run the ball over them.
Speaker 4 (23:44):
That that never happened.
Speaker 2 (23:45):
Yeah, well we decided not to hand off to the
running backs.
Speaker 1 (23:47):
And wait, wait, wait home, what do you mean we
I'm using the I'm using the ironic wei just because
I sitting there and I'm just like grinding my teeth all.
I'm like, dude, this is the number twenty eight rushing
defense in the in the NFL, the number one pass defense,
and we were just firing that thing into.
Speaker 2 (24:08):
The teeth of the number one pass defense.
Speaker 1 (24:11):
And we had five drives that got us thirty two
yards in the in the second half total. And I'm like,
you know we should do is maybe get back to
the game plan.
Speaker 3 (24:20):
Well, okay, then last week, I know you lacked a
little fake the fake defeate.
Speaker 5 (24:25):
That I was.
Speaker 3 (24:26):
I was.
Speaker 1 (24:27):
I went from Broncos atheist to Broncos agnostic. I didn't
quite get there to the faith part of it.
Speaker 3 (24:32):
So where are you now?
Speaker 4 (24:33):
Bronco's gonna win? I got a money line ticket stitty City. Okay,
I put all for my city. I put all for
my city.
Speaker 2 (24:41):
Is that what we've decided on stitty city. Water said,
let's get litty for stitty right, but saw stitty City
on the city center to be the hashtag that's going around.
Speaker 4 (24:54):
I put all for my city. I'll put all for
my steady.
Speaker 3 (24:58):
Yes have you go?
Speaker 4 (24:59):
You stity and city that she was it in the
case the way put.
Speaker 2 (25:03):
On for this is Colorado said nothing. Just look, we
can look at the demographics. You know what I'm about
to say here say it. I'm Hato for says I
got the perfect name for nickname for Stidham.
Speaker 4 (25:24):
What is it you gonna call that man? Peace stitty
for what he's about to do to the Patriots?
Speaker 2 (25:27):
D No baby oil? Maybe baby oil on the field.
Speaker 4 (25:37):
They already got towels looked over from last week. They
may need some baby all for that album.
Speaker 2 (25:42):
Man, Oh my goodness, absolutely ridiculous. Seven one four.
Speaker 1 (25:47):
Nick is denying being part of the media and cussing
on the radio. He's on something tonight. Well that would
either Nick ferguson Trifecta. There he's done some uh, he's
on some mapple juice over there Martin Ellies.
Speaker 4 (25:57):
Hey food disclosure.
Speaker 3 (25:58):
I had a chance to talk to Nick Ferguson, and
he said he does not remember any of the things
that you're bringing up.
Speaker 1 (26:04):
You you talked to Nick Ferguson. Yeah, I talked to
Nick fergus Okay, yeah, I got his number. Yeah, okay,
I'll give it to you off air. Oh my goodness.
Speaker 2 (26:15):
Yeah, we got a lot of a lot of great
stuff coming in.
Speaker 1 (26:17):
Said I was gonna bring this one up because this
was something I saw a while back, and I made
a book MARKO one of the one of the texts
brought it up as well.
Speaker 2 (26:25):
It's fun fact. OZ Pearlman, who's the Oz, the mentalist
throve you guys.
Speaker 1 (26:29):
Yes, yeah, the guy who does all the predictions predicted
a Super Bowl matchup between the Rams and the Broncos
during his November visit to the Rams facility uh and
said the final score would be twenty three to fourteen
in the Super Bowl between the Rams and the Broncos.
Speaker 2 (26:45):
Did not pick a winner. Hmm.
Speaker 1 (26:49):
Interesting, deal with that what you will. We will find
out how how correct or incorrect that may be.
Speaker 2 (26:58):
As it goes.
Speaker 1 (26:58):
But yes, I had been saving that one. If we won,
I was gonna bring that clip back out to play
on the air. But at seven to already remembered that. So, uh,
that's where we're at with that. We'd have let's see
here we have Breemay's this is gonna join us here
in the next segment, Can chance talk to her?
Speaker 2 (27:14):
See see how things are? Uh, things are going over there.
Speaker 1 (27:18):
Let's talk about because I saw Mario created by the way, Ryan,
I don't know if you guys saw this file picture
the stitty memes. He created one with a flannel shirt.
Oh god, really, Mario's got one with the hater blocker.
You know those those sunglasses that he wears, you know. Okay,
So I'll say this really quickly.
Speaker 3 (27:37):
This I don't bowl would never look at it this way,
but I decided to look at it this way. After
bow goes down, you get all these little, you know,
stitty avatars, switch up, changeups, whatever, whatever you want to
call it. How is it that all seas alone, no
(27:58):
one had any Bonix avatars? Why? Why? Why was it that,
I mean, Mario didn't do it, and there was no
flannel bow Nicks for Ryan Edwoods?
Speaker 2 (28:07):
Why? Now I think every day is Bownick's day. We
need the quarterback of the Broncos to.
Speaker 1 (28:12):
Make your avatar bon Nick well, but I mean, I
think people are trying to rally around in a temporary
phenomenon around Jared Stidam. This is a this is a
special situation just around Nick Foles. After Carson WENTZ with them,
they called him. I don't know if I could say
that on the air. No, don't do no, don't now.
(28:35):
I Grant looked at my face like he's gonna do
it anyway. Brand has already told you no, not once,
books twice.
Speaker 3 (28:45):
Are you gonna listen to Grant or you're gonna go
full Vijamin Albright, gun It.
Speaker 2 (28:51):
Brock sketchy Night
Speaker 5 (28:52):
Back into this
