Well, right now, nobody, And I understand that his representation
is putting this stuff out there, but right now it's
gonna be nobody. I've had some people inquire about you know,
he'd be great coming in here on discount deal to
get back with his buddy Pats or Tank because they
do the podcast together. I don't think that's realistic. I
don't think that's happening. And I will say that I
don't think that there are people lined up right now.

There are people after some of this gets adjudicated, that baby,
but I think his representation is doing what they do.

what you're supposed to do as an agent. When you
find your client in a tough situation and the tight
squeeze like this, you want to make sure that you
keep putting out positive vibes saying.

So I mean this is a way to just kind
of keep the conversation open for Terry Owner as he

So do you think this is maybe a case where
he doesn't play at all this season. I mean, I
guess he could be in jail before the start of
the season. How long do you think it'll take for
this situation to be resolved, at least on a football

Well, he's going to take a minute before that, actually,
you know takes place because we're still talking about the
legal process, and the legal process sometimes take longer than
the NFL training camp And you don't want to sign
the guys.

Could you think about this? If you're a team.

You sign a guy and guess what now he has
a break mid training camp because he got to go
hand with some legal issues. No, you wait till he
finished that problem and you tell his agent you finish
that problem.

Kray McBride told the media this week that he's excited
to have Jeremiah Love by his side this year. He

No, I don't think that's gonna be the case because
we're still talking about Arizona where they're deficient in a
lot of particular areas. They have a new head coach

So Love is going to get his carries.

But is it going to be enough to put him
in that Rookie of the Year conversation? I don't think
you think so because you're running back teams, know, you
don't have.

tight end in the game right now.

fantasy numbers and because he's gonna get targets, but it's
not going to be anything to a point of maybe
a Jonathan Taylor type level.

I'm just wondering if the Arizona Cars are getting an
actual Jeremiah Love, or if they're gonna make Trey McBride
pay for another statue that Colorado State tried to do
with his matckiew Ward or whatever he just saw that. Look,
it's gonna be interesting. Arizona has no quarterback. They've got
five guys that are claimed to play the position, but
none of them that are going to be any good.
And so that that's really the problem here is that

if Lafleur, who did not do very well as an
offensive coordator for the Jets, is able to put together
an offense, he's gonna have to have time. They're gonna
have to get a quarterback, which they don't currently have.
So expectations for me are not high, even though they
have those two good players.

He's not all on his own trying to make that
offense work.

He's got the help of say how he had up
there in New York, who replaced him, I believe with

Anytime you can build an offensive staff purely of New
York Jets cast offs, it's a good strategy. Three Texans
guard ed Ingram guaranteed a Super Bowl appearance this week,

that Super Bowl what do you make of Ingram's confidence,

And do you think the Texans are legit Super Bowl contender?

It's not I think they or if they get anything
out of c J. Stroud. You look at how good
that defense is, You look at how they were the
If CJ hadn't choked those two games away, they might
have had a better shot at it. They would have
had a better shot at I don't know that I'm
out there trying to proclaim that we're going to the
super Bowl and the you know, before we've even had
training camp and injuries and all that kind of stuff.

But the Texans are contenter. I think they can win
their division. They certainly have one of the best defenses
in the league. And if they get anything out of
c J. Stroud, they're they're in the you know, they're
in the money.

I mean, they have upgraded from a running back standpoint,
And that tells you how much confidence that Demiko Ryans
have and c J. Stroud, obviously he's regressed a lot,
and Ben just mentioned how he kind of collapsed. And
you look at the game against the Steelers, the game
against the Patriots that automatically took them out of the
bid for a Super Bowl. But this is a team

that's heavily built on the defensive side of the ball,
but they're making claims, mark my words, we're going to
that Super Bowl, probably sitting in the stands watching but
not participating.

Where do you think they stack up amongst those top
AFC teams?

Them out of the Broncos and the pecking order or
what even is the AFC pecking order?

think the Texans defense a little bit better than the Broncos.
But I think as a team, the Broncos are a
better team. Certainly the offense is better the Chargers, the Bills, Ravens,
and then after that you're just kind of, you know,
does do the Jags take a step in a year
or two? What are the Colts where everybody's healthy again,
because they were on fire the first half of the

Year and the Bengals re enter the picture.

I mean, they've got to get more pieces on defense.
They having two pieces is better than none, but it's

Is there a quarterback pass catching combo that you think
was overlooked. And do you think bow Knicks and Jalen
Wattle could crack that top four by season's end?

I do believe that because you just going to practice
watching Jalen Wado run his rounds and how he's able
to get in and out of his breaks with little ease,
and just watching his level of explosive And when you
think about Jayalen wat He's not a massive man, but

So yeah, I mean, I don't see a reason why
bow Knicks can't be in that conversation because I did

going to exceed that and blow the top off this season.

which is wow, fairly funny. How much of a role
do you think that agent played in the rift? And

league to be reinstated because he was on the the

I tend to believe Ryan Williams is a good agent.

You also claimed he fired his agent back in November,
but he never turned any paperwork in to do it
until this past past weekend. So the idea that you know,
the idea that he that's what.

I mean, like, if he's not following the steps to
get reinstated and now he doesn't have an agent to
tell him what those steps even are.

Which is just report that's all he needs to do,

Next up here NFL dot Com. This was one of
the weirder lists I've seen from them, and lord knows
they've put out plenty. Nfl dot Com lists Joe Burrow, C. J. Stroud,
Tyler Shug, John Harbaugh, and Travis Hunter as five NFL
figures who will help shape this season.

Burrow, C. J. Stroud, Tyler Shug, John Harbaugh, and Travis Hunter.
That list, aside, which major NFL figures do you believe
will shape this NFL season. Ideally ones that aren't on
that list.

Take take take Harder off that list and put Stafford
on that list. I get where they're going with this list.
These are like New Orleans could be something this year,
But it's gonna hinge on what Tyler Shugg does Harball,
Can he turn the Giants around in a tough division?
How quickly? I yet where the're sort of going with
this list. But Travis Hunter, I mean it's gonna be
a conversation piece. But Travis Hunter isn't changing the fortunes
of the Jacksonville Jaguars, regardless of which position or both
(28:08):
that he's playing. That that's gonna hinge on Trevor Lawrence
taking the next step in that offensive defense, get better
as a whole. Matt Stafford in the Rams and what
they want to do with Donald Aaron Donald inching closer
to coming back out of retirement and all that stuff there. Stafford,
I think is the name that belongs to that list,
not c J. Stroud.
Speaker 4 (28:25):
I mean, like if you could take CJ.
Speaker 1 (28:27):
Stroud off and add David Montgomery to that, because that
was the whole purpose.
Speaker 4 (28:32):
Because when you look at CJ.
Speaker 1 (28:34):
Stroud, the mistakes that he made, the idea, how do
you lighten his low? I mean they were trying to
bring in running backs and Nick Schaub was down there,
but that didn't blost him into anything more. Mixing was there,
but you know he had issues with his anger. We
still don't know what the deal is with that. So
David Montgomery should make a huge impact in Houston, taking
(28:56):
the pressure off of CJ. Stroud, also giving the bronk
on the Broncos. But the Houston Texans highly rated defense
somewhat of a breather, could you imagine. I mean, giving
those guys on the defense of edge rushers right, giving
them an actual break from the running game, and then
now they can get after opposing quarterbacks because now those
(29:18):
quarterbacks have to throw the ball. So for me, I
would throw David Montgomery in the Houston Texas into that
as well. And also here's another one, once again, running backs.
Do you lose Dave Montgomery in Detroit? You bring in
Isaiah Chenko, who I think he runs down here. He's
a very physical runner. Seems like he's pounding the ground
and beating the ground when he run. So Pacheco with
(29:39):
Jamir Gibbs. What is that going to mean for their quarterbacks?
See he got a consideration.
Speaker 3 (29:45):
Heck, but Kyler murray Man, can he be you know,
the one that got away? Can he you know, be
what Sam Darnold was for the Seahawks for that Vikings team.
Jalen Wattle, we talked about how the Broncos team last
year was so great, they were just lacking a little
explode usiveness, a little dynamism on offense.
Speaker 2 (30:02):
Is he that missing piece that you know?
Speaker 1 (30:04):
Last year?
Speaker 3 (30:05):
Obviously the record was a top ten contender, but all
season long we were talking about the shaky wins and
is this team legit? Maybe he's the missing piece that
makes the Broncos feel like a true NFL juggernaut.
Speaker 4 (30:16):
No, it isn't. You know.
Speaker 1 (30:16):
What it is is the Broncos defense. Can they replicate
what they did from a sack total and then take
that to a whole.
Speaker 2 (30:23):
Other level and gets turnovers on top of it.

That's the conversation.

That's that's fair enough. Yeah, I the Stroud thing I
get because if Stroud, I get where they're going with that.
If if C. J. Stroud can pay, he doesn't have
like the playoff choke that he did, because I mean,
that was an epic choke.

You like to make wagers.
Speaker 1 (30:44):
Would he make a wager for against that Stroud would
be much better than this season?
Speaker 4 (30:51):
Exactly? I think it's.

Tough because the regular season was actually like decent from him.
If you don't always look at the regular season, he
was like as good numbers wise, which is flad, but
like as good as his rookie season.

And then the playoffs was.

Just fell worst the quarterback play we've ever seen in
the Why did they not.
Speaker 2 (31:09):
Put Davis Mills in?

Because you can't because if you do that, what you're
saying to the fan base and also what are you
saying to win a Super Bowl? Yeah? But if you
if you do that, now you're crushing the confidence of
c J.

Stroud knowing as though you're not going to part with
then right away.

That sixth turnover against the Steelers wasn't crushed as the
confidence of c J. Stroud, no more than that. Davis
Mills there, man, You can't yes Mills stepping in for
Stroud when he got urt, like they wouldn't have been
there to begin with.
