Speaker 1 (00:00):
Beating up on the Rockies tonight thirteen to three.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Exactly the showing or the outing that the the Rockies
were hoping for felt there with the loss moved to
five and eight, five point two ings, pitch six hit,
seven runs, five of those earned. Four walk sticks, yeah,
excuse me, six strikeouts sticks strikeouts. Six strikeouts figure to
have the professionalism down at this point. May He got
a third of an inning, allowed a run. Adams one inning,

(00:26):
five runs, five of those earned, and at one point
Troy Johnston got in the game pitching a full inning
who allowed one hit, no runs, no earned.

Speaker 1 (00:35):
He was theoretically their best pitcher on the night. Over there.

Speaker 2 (00:40):
On the NAT side of things, the win goes to Cavali,
moves to twelve and five on the season, six innings, pitch,
two runs to earned. Tolman got an inning beater, got
an inning bird, got an inning beater, did allow a run.
On the NAT.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
Side of things, only only one home run that was lyle.

Speaker 2 (00:59):
On the Rockies of things, Castro got a home run,
Dovar got a home run. So rare night where the
Rockies got two home runs and lose thirteen to three.

Speaker 3 (01:09):
Well, there was a point where the Rockies looked like
they were going to mount somewhat of a comeback, and
they are, say, at the top of the eight seven.
But yeah, they have run a stranded It was like
the base loaded.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
They have the bases eight for a while. Yeah, not not.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
You know that quite a few opportunities slipped through, slipped
through their fingers. Team left on base for the Rocky
seven seven runners left on base.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
We call it run Rockets.

Speaker 4 (01:39):
It's not like eight losses in a row for for
the Rockies.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
Uh, they moved to fifty and eighty one on the season.
I'm not quite sure how many losses in a row
that is.

Speaker 3 (01:49):
I know it's uh, I haven't had I don't think
I have it pulled up, but I think it's it's
about eight losses in a row.

Speaker 1 (01:54):
Uh see here three, four, six in a row and
eight of their last nine. Yeah, seven losses in a row,
eight of their last nine.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
They did win thirteen to seven at San Francisco back
on August sixteenth.

Speaker 1 (02:08):
That was the last wine so long ago. Yeah, it's
been a while, been a while.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
They got three more games on the road against the
Nationals this week, and there are three more games on
the road after that against Atlanta before finally coming home
and getting Baltimore on Monday, August thirty first to end
the month. It has not been the greatest August for
the Colorado Rockies, who were fairly competitive through most of
the season, but fifteen to eighty one, they're back on
pace for one hundred losses this season.

Speaker 3 (02:34):
You know, I'll toss this in too as well, even
though they lost eight of the last nine. You go
back to that Dodgers series, and the Dodgers is historically
they just kind of demolished the Rockies, but they had
moments where the Rockies actually show some grit and battle back,
and it just seems as though this team is just

(02:55):
what it seems though there is somewhat of a glimmer
of a bright spot.

Speaker 1 (02:59):
Something happens.

Speaker 3 (03:00):
You think about what's happening with hometown talent Kyle Freelan,
and I believe he's dealing with some of what's being
called maybe a pitch nerve in his neck. So it's like,
at what point is it that this Rockies team actually
kind of get over to hump because I mean, I say,
they're more improved.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
Team than we've seen in years past. Can we all
agree with that.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
Oh, they're definitely more improved than they've been the last
two years or so. They're definitely a team that has improved,
and there are bright spots, but the most of the
starting pitching is outside of Chicano has been pretty bad.
The lasting starting pitching, some of the guys that were
good got hurt. The middle relief hasn't been great. They
haven't been able to close. The hitting, which at one
point was actually fairly decent for the Rockies is not

(03:45):
exactly continued that trend throughout the season.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
Now they've moved on from some they moved on from
some guys.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
As they've you know, continued throughout the season, trying to
reconfigure this roster a little bit. But certainly, as you
look this this baseball team, you're you're kind of sitting
here like, well, you know, you get the fifth best
batting average in baseball, but we're absolutely worst in e er, strikeouts,
home runs.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
Allowed, whips, batting average against. The pitching is just been atrocious.

Speaker 3 (04:15):
Yeah, and once again, how do you correct that That's
been the biggest issue for the supposed to Rockies to
concern being able to bring in adequate pitching and develop
and have that pitching come through. Because the question I
get all the time, how is it that you watch

(04:36):
other teams do it like we watched the Dodgers just
kind of do it all the time. It seems like
they're playing with an assortment of riches. Right, they're already
a dominant team. We watched that lion of season when
they played Toronto when it looked like all was lost,
but they found ways to win. It's just like it
just hasn't really popped for the Rockies just yet.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
And I look.

Speaker 3 (04:59):
At the West and I think about Arizona, and Arizona
was one of those basement teams like the Rocky once before,
but they dug themselves out and they actually, you know,
were winning team a couple of years ago. So the
question becomes, why is it that the Rockies cannot do
it well?

Speaker 2 (05:18):
I mean some of that is the idea that pitching
here is more difficult. Right, It's a park here at elevation,
so free agent pitchers don't want to come here most
of the time.

Speaker 1 (05:28):
If you're developed, you're never going to change that.

Speaker 3 (05:30):
The altitude is going to be what it is, The
Paul Park is going to be what it is. So
unless you're telling me, you know, the manfas are going
to tear down instead and build a more picture friendly park.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
But you know that's not gonna happen, right.

Speaker 2 (05:43):
So that that's the thing. First of all, you got
to say, Okay, you can win pitching here. I mean,
Chicano showed that you could do that. He's twelve and
seven on the year. I mean he's only I think
he's the only winning pitcher on staff. Tell only once
to tell it was.

Speaker 1 (05:55):
You moved him.

Speaker 2 (05:55):
But yeah, I mean, Chicgano sends a teleproven you can
pitch here if but the margins I think are thinner
and guys are not. You know, they're not trying to
destroy their legacy by making it more difficult themselves. So
either you're gonna have to pay a premium to get
free agents to come here, you're gonna have to draft
and develop and find ways to keep those guys.

Speaker 3 (06:11):
We say draft and develop, and it sounds so easy,
rolling off the tongue, draft and develop, but it's so
it's proven to be so very difficult for the Rockies
to do it year after year. So do you have
to look into college for I mean baseball and say Okay,
you're gonna grab a couple of aces here and there,

(06:33):
and then if they're not that great and they're not ready,
you stash them in Double A or Triple A, and
then you bring them up and then.

Speaker 1 (06:40):
Hope that they are major League.

Speaker 3 (06:43):
Baseball pitchers that you can classify.

Speaker 4 (06:45):
As being an ace or aces like the Dodgers have.

Speaker 2 (06:48):
Well, we're not gonna be the Dodgers because we're not
spending a dollar for a dollar what they do.

Speaker 1 (06:51):
That's said.

Speaker 2 (06:52):
I mean, Paul de Pedessa's got some, you know, some
tricks up a sleep. So far, this thing's starting to
look a little bit more competitive this year, and we'll
see how it goes.

Speaker 1 (07:00):
Six pack we come back.

Speaker 4 (07:00):
Well, I know it is not Halloween, but were gonna
need a lot of tricks.

Speaker 2 (07:03):
We are gonna need and some treats hopefully for follow
those roucous country night back after this, which is fine
for me. Appreciate everybody that's been texting in when and
where we are before we get to the NFL six pack.
I got a bonus one for you guys here and never.

Speaker 1 (07:19):
Say it ever. Forty seven year old Justin Buzzard's story.

Speaker 2 (07:24):
Has been circling the Nation, so I did their Buzzard
circling as the pastor has made a college football roster,
listed as a defensive end for San Jose City College,
which is a community college obviously located in Santaese, California.
Buzzard played football growing up, but he thought an injury
ended his career in the nineteen nineties. Since that, has
become a pastor's family man, wife, three children. One of

(07:46):
his sons sort of a show social media clip of
a sixty year old on the East Coast playing football
and asked his dad he was going to get back
on the field. Buzzard took that as a challenge, worked
on getting in game shape, reached out to a coach
of San Jose City College.

Speaker 1 (07:58):
The coaching staff was basically.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
Hu bring him by keeping him out there, but he
apparently made enough of an impression to make the regular
season roster. He did an interview with the local TV saying,
no one's going easy at all. I'm not going easy
on them. That's the most important topic. I'm not going
easy on these guys. I'm giving them everything i've got.
My teammates have been great. I was wondering, how are
they going to handle a forty seven year old guys
showing up and they got to receive me. But they
have been incredible, Buzzard said. The only person who had

(08:23):
not been as supportive of his quest was his.

Speaker 1 (08:25):
Wife, who told him, I.

Speaker 2 (08:27):
Want you to make the team, but I don't want
you to play in any games, clearly concerned about his safety,
and Buzzard said, she is now all in, has every
game on her calendar, and we're cheering him on from
the stands, and he's spreading a message that has progressed
throughout this venture.

Speaker 1 (08:38):
Risk or rust.

Speaker 2 (08:40):
You're either risking or you're rusting. As a man, take risks,
don't rust with that. Let's get the NFL six back.

Speaker 1 (08:47):
It's time for the NFL six pad.

Speaker 3 (08:50):
I'm going to trad the last year and insight that
insight information you can't find anywhere else.

Speaker 2 (08:56):
The top six NFL.

Speaker 1 (08:58):
Headlines What.

Speaker 5 (09:02):
Michael Pennix, Atlanta Falcons quarterback has been cleared to begin
practicing eleven on eleven football this week, opening the door
for him to compete with Tua Taiger Bailoue for the
starting job. How many games do you think Penix starts
this season and when, well, when will his first start come,
assuming it ever does well.

Speaker 1 (09:24):
I reported on this on the Insider segment.

Speaker 2 (09:26):
Before the Friday game with the Packers, and that the
Falcons are desperately trying to get Michael Penni's back. They've
been completely disappointed with the Tiltuk by Laws signing.

Speaker 3 (09:35):
He has been.

Speaker 2 (09:35):
Absolutely awful, enjoyed practices and in games so far, and
they are desperately hoping that Pennix comes back and is
able to roll. They've explored with the Cleveland Browns trying
to bring in Dylan Gabriel. I would not say that
is dead either, but Michael Penicks stands a very good
shot of being for as long as he can be.
He's another one that's oft injured, the starter of the

(09:56):
Atlanta Falcons this year. If he can get up to
speed at all.

Speaker 3 (10:00):
Everything you said add the caveat is if the hole
maybe probably you can't win in this NFL with your
starting quarterback using those types of words to describe him.

Speaker 1 (10:16):
And Fennix has been hurt. I mean he's coming back.

Speaker 3 (10:20):
They say he's been cleared for practice, but until we
actually see him on the field to see exactly what
he looks like and what is this eight months off
of aco injury. So let's take a look at him
first to see what he looks like in the game
before we start saying, hey, he is gonna be there.

Speaker 1 (10:37):
Guy, because if you're too.

Speaker 3 (10:38):
Even though tool and they played in the first game
against the Broncos, for some reason, they sat him in
the second game, which is bizarre, but Tua knows, you
know what, even if he starts, Pennick starts the season,
I'll be in there at some point.

Speaker 1 (10:52):
Two.

Speaker 5 (10:55):
Rookie center Keelan Rutledge, also a first round pick, has
been a standout preseason performer for the Houston Texans. Do
you think this could finally mean that Houston has fixed
their offensive line? They also signed Wyatt Tyler this offseason.
If their offensive line is fixed, how many AFC teams
are scarier than those Houston Texans without elite.

Speaker 3 (11:17):
Defense, Well, they're not many, because we know when we
talk about top defenses in this league, we look at Seattle,
we look at what the Rams look like now, and
we look at the Denver Broncos and the Houston Texans.
So if the Texans had figured out of the offensive line,
that means they're gonna run the ball well with David
Montgomery and then that's gonna set you know c J.
Stroud up, So we're possibly going to see there arise.

(11:41):
Can I say that of the Houston Texas.

Speaker 1 (11:44):
That no way is rutless?

Speaker 3 (11:45):
Kid? What's cooler going to go to? Don't worry about it.
I got to cook Georgia Tech that. Yeah, the guardians
of the Galaxy ME say, you boss, good for them
forgetting offensive line.

Speaker 1 (11:59):
Fish. Did they fix the court because that's been that's
been the problem c J.

Speaker 2 (12:02):
Stroud and you know, pulling his favorite Chuck Paladock novel
choke out there, especially in the playoffs where he couldn't
stop turning the football over. Add Braden Smith, Keila rut
Ledgwya teller that those are improvements for the Detexans line,
which was horrible. But the quarterback has got to get
his act together. He hadn't been the same since those
first two years, and as he goes, so will the
Houston Texans.

Speaker 5 (12:23):
I agree, But I think you know, last year during
the regular season, before things really got off the rails,
which I think you could maybe tell yourself is because
he's taken a beating behind that suspect offensive line. He
was around you know like the fourteenth fifteenth, you know,
best quarterback in the league by you know, touchdowns, yards,
whatever else. I think he could, you know, rEFInd that

(12:44):
form and if he can just be you know, Sam
Darnold level what Sam Donald was for the.

Speaker 1 (12:48):
Seahawks last year.

Speaker 5 (12:49):
You look at that Texans team that now has a
better run game with better running backs. They've got a
star receiver with Nico Collins, some depth of receiver with
Jaden High. They who kind of Kashon Boudy replacing Jayden Higgins.
I think they could make a run for it. If
not for the Broncos, I think the Texans would be
my pick out of the AFC.

Speaker 1 (13:09):
But Texans had a couple of years crowded.

Speaker 2 (13:11):
A couple of good games at Baltimore against Arizona last year,
but he had some stinkers too, and the prior to
even hit the playoffs, he had what seven interceptions in
the last four games.

Speaker 5 (13:20):
I mean, it was just it was a roller coaster
and he's the guy where once it goes off track,
it really like spirals.

Speaker 1 (13:26):
I think that's one of the things. The tape on
him is hit him and get him to throw that
pick because he's not a guy that bounces back.

Speaker 3 (13:31):
But this is why they brought over David Montgomery. So
they take the pressure off. CJ.

Speaker 1 (13:34):
Shaw, turn around and the ball off.

Speaker 2 (13:37):
Hurry.

Speaker 5 (13:40):
Mike McCarthy told the media today that the Steelers and
star cornerback Joey Porter Junior are quote at an in
pass end quote regarding Porter's negotiations for a contract extension.
When when we see this situation resolved and.

Speaker 1 (13:55):
How much will Porter ultimately sign for?

Speaker 2 (13:58):
Well, this is now, Yeah, this is not one that
they are He's right, they're not close. And this is
one that I think they don't have the same value
on each other. You know, Joey Porter Junior is looking
at this thing saying, you know, I deserve top starting
corner money the Steelers thirty million rate, Well, not quite
that much, but it's in the you know, it's well

(14:20):
it's into the twenties, and I think they look at
him as a fifteen to twenty million dollars a year
corner type thing.

Speaker 1 (14:25):
And I just don't think.

Speaker 2 (14:27):
That that's going to be something that resolves itself amicably
for either party when all said and done. And so, yeah,
this is one of those things where I don't think
he's going to be a Steeler next year. I think
he's just gonna be Steeler this Year's probably the best
way to put it.

Speaker 1 (14:41):
Oh, what do we say all the time?

Speaker 3 (14:42):
The market dictates the price, does it not? And we've
just seen Devon Witherspoon just become the highest paid, you know,
a corner in the country, and it makes the deal
that the Broncos struck with PS two looked like a
thing of beauty. So when you hit free agency at
the right time and you are considered to be a
marquee corner for that particular team, whether we think he

(15:04):
is or not, then that's the going way. So now
you have to decide, if you have Mike McCarthy, how
do you want to start, if your tenure in Pittsburgh
that you want to somehow move away from a guy
that was drafted before you arrived. No, and the way
that Porter's handled the situation, go out there, ball out
forster hand because we've seen guys sports team's hand before.

(15:27):
It has been a lot of talk, a lot of matter,
but they end up paying that player anyway.

Speaker 5 (15:32):
Yeah, like Alte Taylor just signed for a little over
nineteen million dollars. I think Joey Porter is one of
the better cornerbacks in the league. To me, that sounds
like a case of the Steelers kind of being cheap.
If I was Joey Porter, also, I'd be a little
excited to hit the open market. A lot of teams,
A lot of teams, as we are off reminded with
with the Broncos investing in depth of cornerback, a lot
of teams are pretty desperate for cornerback helped. If a

(15:55):
Corter is talented, is Joey Porter, at the prime of
his career hits the open market, I think he might.

Speaker 1 (16:01):
He probably doesn't.

Speaker 5 (16:03):
It'll be a Christian Kirk case where he resets the
market by just signing for such a high number in
the middle corners edge Rush's offensive tacicles clean.

Speaker 1 (16:11):
Up in free agency. B plus talent could get a
plus plus money.

Speaker 2 (16:15):
Poor.

Speaker 5 (16:20):
During a Sunday practice, Ashton Genty, last year's sixth overall
pick and Heisman runner up two seasons ago, suffered an
injury that is reportedly expected to be a sprained ankle.
At first, there are concerns it was much worse. The
teammates were taking knees, you know, say in Prais and
whatnot when the injury first happened. How much time are
you expecting Ashton gent to mix at miss And what

(16:44):
does this mean for the Raiders offense and rookie running
back Mike Washington Junior.

Speaker 1 (16:50):
What all depends on this ankle.

Speaker 3 (16:51):
Is it just kind of a mile angle spraying or
is a high ko spraying because those high angle sprains,
I tell you man, they feel like a broken leg.
So that all depends on how they registered that the ankle.
But the Raiders will be okay. I mean Mike Wahston,
you think about his six two two twenty eight give.

Speaker 1 (17:09):
Around like a four to three. This is the guy
who was a monster in college.

Speaker 3 (17:13):
And known as though Clinton Kobe is his head coach,
and that is a kind of a branch of the
Mike Shenehan offense. They're going to try to run the
ball and establish the run. So they may not have
as much explosion as we saw as passing gen Zy,
but they're still going to be a bruising team and
being able to run the ball.

Speaker 1 (17:32):
Yeah, I know. There's two guyss of ankle sprains.

Speaker 2 (17:34):
As Nicke alluded to, loinkle sprains, which are lateral high
ankle sprains which are sinismatic. This is supposed to be
a low ankle sprain. Now there are three grades of
loyinkle sprains. Grade one, which is miles that's about one
to three weeks. It's a ligament stretch. Grade two, which
is moderate it's partial terrors and swelling and instability. And
then Grade three, which is severe, which is a complete
terror that needs rehabrsurgical evaluation. I was told that this

(17:56):
was the moderate at the grade two time, and they're
expecting six weeks out fresh.

Speaker 1 (17:59):
And Jay, well, that would be fairly optimistic.

Speaker 5 (18:02):
You'd be getting him, you know, fairly early in the season.
Maybe you're missing him those first couple of weeks, but
they're not chasing a wild card spot.

Speaker 1 (18:09):
You could probably afford that.

Speaker 5 (18:11):
I think you worry though about you know, what does
this mean for Cent's career. I'm reminded of Jerry Judy's
second year where everyone was hyped for a breakout and
again that probably didn't happen for a myriad of reasons.

Speaker 1 (18:22):
But everyone was hyped for a breakout.

Speaker 5 (18:24):
And he's having that great Week one against the New
York Giants and then ends it with the high ankle sprain,
and it just seemed like things ever got back out
there on the.

Speaker 3 (18:33):
I don't think it's gonna change anything with Ashon Jens
from a negative standpoint, If anything at all, it's going
to motivate him because from the games that he's out,
he's going to watch Mike Washington go in and take
those carries and he's gonna be motivated to come back
on the field. Hey, give me the dawn and ball
so I can run it. That's this guy's gonna be
his mindset.

Speaker 2 (18:53):
Yeah, if you're a fantasy oh you got a bump
Mike Washington double especially earlier.

Speaker 4 (18:56):
In the season five.

Speaker 5 (19:02):
Forty nine Ers CEO and co owner Jed Yorke was
arrested this week, reportedly as part of a local prostitution sting.

Speaker 1 (19:11):
What do you make of this situation?

Speaker 5 (19:13):
And do you think this or any of the forty
nine ers other off season distractions will weigh the team
down this season?

Speaker 2 (19:19):
Man, the substation's got real power, right. I thought they
that you have the whole Brandon Nayuk.

Speaker 1 (19:25):
Situation that was kind of funky.

Speaker 5 (19:27):
On on Kyle Shanahan's concussion resulting from the car accident,
that's you know, been maring his ability to be involved
in training camp. How how much is that gonna all
these things combined gonna gonna hang over their season?

Speaker 2 (19:40):
Yeah, I just I mean, you know, it's just one
of those things. It's just another embarrassing thing to get
on there. And now, I we'll say, first of all,
I'm not trying to shame sex work, because you know,
it is what it is. And I've you know, I've
been over that before. I think prostitution should be legal.

Speaker 1 (19:50):
That's just me. As far as the rest of it goes,
that's just it's me.

Speaker 2 (19:54):
I don't speak for anybody else, or the or Koe,
the opinions expressed by Benjamin all right, blah blah blah.

Speaker 1 (19:58):
As far as the.

Speaker 2 (19:59):
Rest of it goes, it's been dying to go to
East Palestine, go to Las Vegas. Jed York is worth
personally about five hundred million, his family fortunes worth about
eight and a half billion. You try to enlist the
services of a prostitute in rural Ohio and a trailer
park for one hundred and forty bucks, what are we doing?

Speaker 1 (20:17):
Jed? This was not thinking clearly.

Speaker 3 (20:20):
Now.

Speaker 2 (20:20):
What I will say is people have talked about his family,
his wife all that kind of stuff. Jed York filed
for divorced from his wife back in May. They've been
separated for a long time. This was not a situation
where he was cheating on a significant others. So whatever
complaints you may have about him, that is not one
of them.

Speaker 3 (20:35):
Yeah, you know what, this is kind of a very
interesting situation because, like you said, Zach, it's been a
lot of things that's been taking place with the San
Francisco forty nine is they've been in the.

Speaker 1 (20:46):
News all too frequently. But here's the interesting thing about this.

Speaker 3 (20:51):
We don't know exactly what's going on in the individual's
life that pushes them to do certain things. So I
reserve judgment over or Jed York in this particular situation,
and hopefully we will hear more about it in somewhat
more of an explanation, because we know the league treats
players different than they treat those who are owners a team.

Speaker 1 (21:14):
There are several examples of this.

Speaker 3 (21:15):
So will there be any sort of punishment, Maybe the
embarrassment itself will be considered punishment enough.

Speaker 5 (21:21):
Do you think this could escalate to the point where
we're talking about a change of ownership or you know
Robert Kraft, couldn't you know?

Speaker 2 (21:29):
No?

Speaker 1 (21:30):
Yeah, true, it's not the Danie Snyder situation.

Speaker 3 (21:33):
Yeah yeah, it's only two different situations.

Speaker 1 (21:36):
Six.

Speaker 5 (21:39):
The Cleveland Browns have announced that Deshaun Watson will be
the team starting quarterback for Week one, despite his bizarre
postgame presser. Todd Munkin also added that it won't be
every other week thing or you know, he doesn't want
to be asked that question every week. He's going to
entrench Deshaun Watson as the starter. We'll see how true
that ultimately ends up being. What do you make of

(22:00):
the decision to have Deshaun Watson to start this season
off for the Browns end?

Speaker 1 (22:05):
How long will Watson hold on to that starting job.

Speaker 3 (22:07):
I don't think Watson's gonna hold on to that starting
job too long. If you go back to his press or,
he said a lot of things, and I understand it
from player's standpoint, being booed by the fan base because
you get injured.

Speaker 4 (22:19):
But he also said that he kind of loves.

Speaker 3 (22:21):
Playing on the road because he doesn't get booed, and
maybe that's one of the reasons the monk has made
the decision. But I think that Shadoor or now I'm thinking,
I know Shador had a better preseason than a betteran guy.

Speaker 1 (22:32):
And when you'd say that it's close.

Speaker 3 (22:34):
Usually in those situations he goes to the younger guys
so he could developed chemistry with the other guys.

Speaker 1 (22:39):
But I don't like this. I told you guys, who
was going to be for the jump. I talked to
somebody up there. It was always going to be Watson.

Speaker 2 (22:46):
If they cut him, it's over eighty million dollars dead
cap for next year, which they did not want to
have dead cap on.

Speaker 1 (22:53):
This was always going to be Watson's thing, whether he's
stalk or not. And to be honest with you, they
thought that he was going to come in.

Speaker 2 (22:57):
They set it up just like the the Broncos try
to do it. Teddy Bridgewater Drew lock thing. They set
it up for him to look real good against the
number two is in the last game, and he stunk
up the joint and then had that melt down presser,
and I thought it was the only thing that could
derail him. Similar to when Teddy and Drew were battling out,
Vic and Pat Shermer set it up for Teddy to
throw a bunch of touchdowns he didn't.

Speaker 1 (23:14):
Drew Locke came in and he threw.

Speaker 2 (23:16):
Four interceptions or whatever it was, so you know she'd
really get a shot later on the season. Watson will
Wats will be the guy till they can't be the guy.
