Last week it was a good weekend and the Pro
Pick Up Challenge, And it was also a good fantasy
weekend for me as I knocked off Bob Murphy. He
was the top spot in our fantasy our iHeart Fantasy.
Speaker 2 (01:17):
League, a chance to knock him off.
Speaker 1 (01:18):
Dave Tepper still sitting there number see, but I'm still
number one Dave's number two. But I've now put our
boss within striking distance. He could thank me with a
huge bonus or something like that. I just just throwing
it out there. If you don't like it, sent it
right back. We'll see how that goes over, probably like
a lead balloon. Big news today for the CEU Boffs
as Julian Lewis committed to Colorado.
Speaker 2 (01:38):
It was a four star quarterback on a Carrollton ranked
ninth at his position.
Speaker 1 (01:43):
By rivals, and he looks to be the quarterback of
the future in the post Shador era, and I think
that this is good for a couple of reasons. One,
it does create some semblance of the future here, but
too it seems to signal that maybe Prime is about
staying at Colorado. I talked to people down in Dallas
(02:05):
and this whole Michael Irvin, He's coming to the Cowboys nonsense.
He is exactly that. It's it's complete bull drive.
Speaker 2 (02:11):
It is not happening.
Speaker 1 (02:13):
They're not hiring Deon Sanders the Cowboys. That is not
a thing that's going on.
Speaker 3 (02:17):
I don't know if I've ever seen a topic in
my life that felt more oh, this is a first
take fodder to me, Like at the moment I saw
the headline, it just doesn't make sense to me, Well,
I tell you, you.
Speaker 1 (02:27):
Say that, And that was the there was a topic
that did feel that way. I broke the news that
Urban Meyer was being courted by the Jacksonville Jaguars back
in it was like the beginning of November of that year.
We broke it on this show, broke it on We
really broke it on the Insider segment.
Speaker 2 (02:45):
But then we turned around and broke it again on
Monday here.
Speaker 1 (02:47):
And nobody believed me, Like, no one believed me on
that and it was there are sports talk shows my picture.
Speaker 2 (02:52):
Up there, they're just laughing, laughing.
Speaker 1 (02:54):
Oh no, the way urban Meyer's going to the pros
to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Then it happened, of course, and
for better or worse. But yeah, that was one of
those ones where I'm like, this can't be real. But
the person I was talking to at the time with
the Rbaviren thing was like, no, and.
Speaker 2 (03:06):
They would They were in a direct position to.
Speaker 1 (03:08):
Know, so They're like, no, this is happening, like erb
Meyer's going to jacks And I'm like, this is ridiculous.
We know this is ridiculous, right, and uh, Anyway, it
ended up ended up being one of those things that happened.
This one is not happening. Dean Sanders is not going
to the Dallas Cowboys. No.
Speaker 2 (03:24):
If you were to leave for.
Speaker 3 (03:25):
A Florida State that maybe comes open this offseason, that
wouldn't surprise me. I think he's a college coach though,
like what makes him in part so specially I think
he's a very good coach, but being able to woo
Travis Hunter to Jackson State and all that. Like, that's
the secret sauce. That recruiting ability is the secret sauce.
Speaker 1 (03:42):
That's what That's what Dion brings to the table. It's
it's not He's not the superior x's and o's mind.
I mean, he's got He's got Pat Shermer and uh
Ryan Livingston.
Speaker 2 (03:53):
Rob Livingston is the defensive coordinators there, and those guys
run those units, you know.
Speaker 1 (03:59):
And I would say Summers EZOC, but the shooter is
really the OC, you know, but those guys run those UITs.
Dion's not out here is the x's and o's guy.
I mean he's he's coaching them up on life lessons
and the philosophy of football and a motivator recruiter type.
Speaker 2 (04:12):
But that's that's where his strength lies. He's not.
Speaker 1 (04:14):
He's more of a CEO head coach than anything else.
And what he brings to the table that works for
him is kind of the atmosphere that he's brought to Colorado.
And you know that blew up in their face last year.
They kind of became a laughing stock. But it's sort
of working for him this year, and you know, we'll
see how far they're able to go, whether it is
easy schedule or whether they are actually is you know,
they are actually a top twenty team and all that
(04:35):
kind of stuff.
Speaker 2 (04:35):
The roads pay for them. Right now, they control.
Speaker 1 (04:37):
Their destiny of the Big twelve championship and that puts
you in the playoffs and from there anything can happen.
Speaker 2 (04:41):
So you know, we'll see. But I do believe.
Speaker 1 (04:43):
That that the signing of this kid, or at least
the commitment of this kid, Juju Lewis, who was committed
to USC and then flipped. He is listed as the
number thirty six overall prospects six best quarterback in the
twenty twenty five class, right on the fringes of being
kind of a five star if you look at ESPN rivals,
all that kind of stuff. The big knock on Sanders
(05:05):
tenure with the Bombs has been at times everything looks
built to win now because it's transfer heavy, light on
high school recruits, and so I think that there's a
twofold thing here, one showcasing that you can get somebody
on the high school level, high caliber quarterback on the
on the high school level, and then two the sort
of signals that maybe.
Speaker 2 (05:23):
You're sticking around.
Speaker 3 (05:25):
Certainly and the class is small right now. If you
look at the ranks, they still rank fairly poorly. They're
bringing in high recruits, highly rated recruits, but just not
a lot in quantity, so they're still ranked low.
Speaker 2 (05:39):
But I don't know.
Speaker 3 (05:40):
Here you're bringing in a guy like a Julian Lewis,
I think that's hard to turn away from and decide
to leave, especially with all the guys they've had transfer in.
I don't know if you are expecting to do another
dramatic turnover like the one you just did at CU.
Speaker 2 (05:54):
And you know, he is recruiting more. I talked about
the class being small.
Speaker 3 (05:57):
He is recruiting more freshmen this time around than did
last year, getting earlier in the cycle with it. And
hopefully you know at Julian Lewis h H he had attacked.
Julian Lewis has attack on his high school team that
was committed to USC.
Speaker 2 (06:10):
He just decommitted.
Speaker 3 (06:11):
So I thought, is he probably follows Julian the number
one interior offensive lineman in the class, Chancy Gooden or
there's Johnson Gooden going to see you, but Mitchell, Michael Carroll,
Mitchell Carroll, something like that, who's in Alabama commit five star.
He's been posting all sorts of buff stuff these last
few days. So uh and Deon loves his big flips,
so who knows where it could go?
Speaker 1 (06:31):
Now? Yeah, you got those, and then of course the
headline the class. So far, they've got a live in
firm commits Julian Lewis, Chauncey Gooden is an interior offensive lineman.
And you've got Adrian Wilson and Kwan Al Farakhan, a
couple of four star wide receivers. Those guys headline the class.
And then you've got a bunch of three star players
after that and we'll see you know, I mean again,
Deon built this thing off the transfer portal, which everybody
said they couldn't do, and then they said it wasn't
(06:52):
sustainable after they did it. Uh, And it's it'll be
interesting to see if they're able to make something out
of it and what they're able to do and what
this this program looks like in a post Shador Sanders
Travis Hunter era.
Speaker 3 (07:02):
Yeah, and I think there's reason to be excited. You
look at a Draylon Miller or an Amari and Miller.
You know, DJ McKinney, a lot of these young guys
they've brought in or to supplement those pieces around Travis Hunter.
Both the have receiver at corner, the waves of defensive linemen.
They now have the recruits they're getting on the offensive line.
Hopefully that takes another step forward. It's optimistic, but it's
(07:25):
hard to look past the fact that it feels like
every Saturday it's the shador of Travis Hunter.
Speaker 2 (07:30):
SHO.
Speaker 3 (07:30):
They've got a lot of great players, but I don't
think this team is you know, eight and two without
those two.
Speaker 1 (07:35):
The other big news today, Travis Hunter did indeed confirm
that he will be leaving for the NFL. I don't
think anybody believed that he wouldn't, but he made it
official today when he said he was going to be
doing that, and he said he's going to play both
positions at the pro level. Now, I will tell you
the scouts that I've talked to, the people that I've
talked to, look at him as a corner with some
wide receiver packages, you know, four or five plays a
(07:55):
game at the receiver position, stuff like that.
Speaker 2 (07:57):
Nothing near like the volume that he's getting right now.
Speaker 1 (08:00):
What do you think about Travis Hunter making it official
today and you know, he's somebody you really think can
pull double duty at the NFL level.
Speaker 3 (08:09):
I don't know if anyone can pull double duty at
the NFL level, But I was in the camp, you know,
when we were seeing the snap counts after the TCU
game and in the Nebraska game last year. I was
in the camp saying, now, well, this can't last. Yere's
no way he's going to be playing one hundred and
fifty snaps a game.
Speaker 2 (08:21):
And he's done just that, so you know who knows.
Speaker 3 (08:25):
Personally, I like the idea of putting him at receiver.
I think he's so dang special with the ball in
his hands. I would rather get to dictate when he's
impacting the game than let the other team do that.
And I think just looking at the positional value of
the receiver position, how that's ballooned to you know, a
forty million dollar position year, while Patrick's chancel at twenty million.
That that motivates me a little to maybe think of
(08:47):
him as a wide receiver as well, especially with it
being such a weak receiver class. Well, that's one of
the things because if you look at it, there's the
money is in the receiver position, which seems backwards to me,
like if you're paying people, I'd be paying the corners.
Speaker 1 (08:59):
You know, receivers. You can find receivers. So for me,
you know, it seems a little backwards, but you know,
the league is what it is at times. If it's me,
I think he's a more talented corner than he is receiver.
And that's not to say that he's not a talented receiver.
I hear what you're saying, though, I mean, you want
to dictate, You want him to dictate what's going on
rather than you know, be dictated too.
Speaker 2 (09:20):
I just, you know, I look at and.
Speaker 1 (09:21):
I start drooling at the thought of, you know, putting
him opposite a Patser ten over there.
Speaker 2 (09:24):
I mean, not that Broncos gonna be picking a.
Speaker 1 (09:25):
High enough to get him, but you know, have it
and then having a few car you know, there are
packages you can have. You could almost make him a
slant god, similar to the way Sean used to do
with Michael Thomas, and he could be that kind of receiver.
He's got a big enough body to box out that
he could be that kind of receiver. Come in and
do those kinds of things for you.
Speaker 3 (09:43):
Yeah, it's a great problem to have. You know, I
think he can be used in so many different ways
and play him all at such a high level. The
kid checks every box too. It's not just some amazing athlete,
but the techniques there, the.
Speaker 2 (09:55):
Film study's there. I mean, he he checks every box.
Speaker 3 (09:57):
I think he should be the number one pick in
this draft without without questioning. I just don't think there's
a quarterback that can replicate his level of value in
this class.
Speaker 1 (10:04):
Yeah, you know, this quarterback class is a little down
as far as some of the quarterbacks that you've got there.
I mean, you know, everybody talks about your door and
there's cam Ward and Carson Beck and Quinn Ewers, and
you know, you've got you've got different You've got different
guys out there, different types of quarterbacks and all that
kind of stuff. And nobody who really jumps off the
page is particularly somebody who you think is going to
be elite at this level. Nobody's uh, Caleb bri Jaden,
(10:29):
you know, like there was last year.
Speaker 2 (10:30):
Nobody's just salivating at the thought of any of that.
Speaker 1 (10:32):
There's a couple offensive line and defensive line, and this draft,
though at the top, it really got cleaned out over
the last couple of years the college football got cleaned
up because you had the COVID holdovers, and so you
had a couple of really stacked draft classes there. And
now you don't really have any of the COVID holdovers left,
you know, from any of that kind of stuff, and
so there's going to be a thin draft class or two.
If you're not picking in like the top ten, top twelve,
you probably want to bail out of the first round,
(10:55):
you know, and see if you can multiply picks, because
the difference between pick you know, fifteen eighteen in this
and pick one hundred is not that deep.
Speaker 2 (11:02):
It's not that not that not an appreciable difference.
Speaker 3 (11:05):
And the tough thing is that's when it's hardest to
trade down. You know, everyone's going to want to, but
it's I remember a couple of drafts ago, and it
was a week class. It was hard for the Broncos
to find dance partners.
Speaker 1 (11:14):
Yeah, and that'll that'll probably be the case in this
one as well. Five six, six nine zero. He's the
text line. If you guys have any questions, Brian are
sarcastically saying that dian is the greatest.
Speaker 2 (11:23):
College coach ever.
Speaker 1 (11:26):
Somebody asked to Browers Bowers the only tight end the
first round the last five years to be worth it?
Speaker 2 (11:30):
That was It's pretty funny. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (11:31):
I mean, honestly, drafting tight ends early has not led
to a whole lot of success for the teams that
have done it. You know, Atlanta has been hit or
missed with Kyle Pitts. You look back, even the Broncos
no fan a few years ago. Old fans had a
little success up there at Seattle. But it's just you know,
I mean you go back to look at these first
round tight ends that have been taken. Sam Laport's really
(11:52):
I think the only one that screams at you like, hey,
this was worth it.
Speaker 2 (11:55):
Like he was top of the second I think I
think he was top forty but early.
Speaker 1 (12:00):
Jay Hockinson uh in that draft and yeah, I mean
it has a good tight in draft.
Speaker 2 (12:04):
But that was Yeah, that was yeah. Uh. Colorad's CU
for for.
Speaker 1 (12:09):
Its uh intensive purposes, is taking on the Kansas Jayhawks
on Saturday.
Speaker 2 (12:16):
I believe that games. I think it was at one
o'clock kickoff here, yeah, starter something like that.
Speaker 1 (12:22):
I think it's one thirty coverage right here at a
kay Mark Johnson of course, will be on the call,
be listening to that and the the most important college
football game of the week, Army at Notre Dame, for
those of you who celebrate such things.
Speaker 2 (12:36):
I will be. Uh. It looks like I'm gonna be
out at a little watch.
Speaker 1 (12:38):
Party watching this thing with the group of people. So
that's gonna be kind of fun. Profits said, he might
even come by, so we'll see this.
Speaker 2 (12:46):
Weekend of college football.
Speaker 1 (12:47):
Well, he's a Notre Dame guy, like Notre Dame's like
his team, So we'll be on opposite sides of the
we'll be We'll be Tyson and Paul I get to
be Mike Tyson in that scenario.
Speaker 2 (12:56):
Yuck. I liked Profit this whole time, and yuck, he's
in Notre Dame fan.
Speaker 1 (13:00):
Yeah, I mean I didn't know that about it, but
I guess I found that out today. So yes, I'm
hoping that Army can beat beat all the odds. They
were what I looked, I can tell you right here
when I looked the other day, they were. I think
they were up what a four fourteen point dog I
think to.
Speaker 2 (13:18):
Notre Dame.
Speaker 1 (13:19):
I'll have to go back and look what that lines
up to. Maybe fourteen and a half, but it was
it was not good. The expectations are all on the
Notre Dame side of the house on that one.
Speaker 2 (13:29):
So but I'm hoping. I'm hoping the Army could pull through.
Speaker 1 (13:32):
And I'll be uh, I'll certainly be yeah fourteen right now.
Speaker 2 (13:36):
I'll certainly be very happy if if it does.
Speaker 1 (13:42):
You know, you talk about the service academies and different
kinds offense and all that. Notre Dame dispatched mayvy pretty easily.
They've been a pretty good team this year.
Speaker 2 (13:50):
So I'm not holding my breath on this. But wouldn't
it be nice? Wouldn't it be cool if, if you.
Speaker 1 (13:54):
Know, we got some chaos in there, we got a
service academy with no ni OL money whatsoever, getting their
way into the into the college football.
Speaker 2 (14:01):
Playoffs and make us a noise? Would't that be cool?
It would be great.
Speaker 3 (14:05):
I think it would be uh, I don't know, just
great to see that it's possible to make the playoff
in this new era.
Speaker 2 (14:11):
Without all the NIOW money.
Speaker 3 (14:13):
And like you just said, Army is going to be
the most extreme version of that.
Speaker 1 (14:17):
Yeah, And you know, I mean just because they they
play football the way I like to play my college
football video games. It doesn't have anything to do with
it at all. It might have something to do with it,
but I.
Speaker 2 (14:27):
You know, I mean I've always been.
Speaker 1 (14:29):
An Army fan, but we've we've been bad, like we've
we've not been good, you know, and then coming into
this thing. But nine and zero, I'm really I'm really
pulling for these Service Academy kids. I really am, because
you're you're you know, you're up against one of the
premier programs in college football, and you know, you're you
don't have the built in you don't have any of
the advant effect.
Speaker 2 (14:49):
You got every disadvantage. Uh.
Speaker 1 (14:51):
You know, the guys who commit to you have got
to join the Army. You know, you don't have the
nil money that all these other schools have and all
that kind of stuff. But it's just guys that genuinely
want to play football.
Speaker 2 (15:02):
And so I yeah, I'm pulling for that. I'm hoping,
hoping they can pull it off.
Speaker 3 (15:06):
Yeah, they don't have the transfer portal, don't have any
of that stuff. It's it's it's an amazing story. I'm uh,
I'm definitely rooting for him alongside you here. Yeah, I
got the fun new uniforms for the Army Navy game.
Those are pretty sweet.
Speaker 2 (15:17):
Yeah have you seen it?
Speaker 1 (15:18):
You saw the Army uniforms by the way, Yeah, the
black with the snow, snowpowder, snowpowder.
Speaker 2 (15:23):
I see the Navy jolly Rogers one.
Speaker 1 (15:24):
Yeah, you know, Navy normally outdoes this, but I I
like the I like the Army ones here. Normally Navy
outdoes this on the uniforms, but I think Army got
them this year. The the uniforms are supposed to be
attribute to a basto in which I don't know if
you guys have ever watched Band of Brothers, but that's
the one where they're freezing in the snow like you know.
So yeah, and they've got all sorts of little tributes
and you can look at the Army Twitter accounts got
the video point out all the little tributes and everything
(15:46):
to that. But I think it's really cool how they
got this black uniform with this sprinkling of snow over
the top.
Speaker 2 (15:50):
I think it's pretty cool. But we gotta hit a break.
We'll be back after this. Good pretty fit.
Speaker 1 (16:00):
I Benjamin ol Bright here with you is actually you's
back there behind the glass, guys.
Speaker 2 (16:04):
The heroes Thank You is back.
Speaker 1 (16:07):
One of my favorite things to do every year, present

Speaker 2 (16:37):
So we just need you guys.
Speaker 1 (16:38):
All you gotta do is get those nomination stories KWAI
Colorado dot com slash contests, and that tells us where
to put the money.
Speaker 2 (16:46):
Zach, you want to pick some medical games, Let's do it.
Let's do it.
Speaker 1 (16:54):
Let's start with the Kansas City Chiefs and the Carolina Panthers.
This when started off seven and a half, it's out
to ten and a half now, and you don't even
need to tell you which team is favored.
Speaker 2 (17:04):
It's very obviously Kansas City. Seventy six percent of the bets,
eighty seven percent of the money on Kansas City minus
ten and a half.
Speaker 1 (17:11):
He over under started forty five and a half, down
of forty two and a half, eighty five percent of bets,
six percent of money on the over in this one.
On the money line, ninety eight percent of bets, ninety
three percent of money on Kansas City.
Speaker 2 (17:19):
We're all picking Cansas City, right, Yeah, it feels like
they need to get right game.
Speaker 3 (17:23):
I think this is one where they put their pedal
to the metal and then really tried to run.
Speaker 2 (17:27):
It up on the pants.
Speaker 1 (17:28):
Yeah. I figured this is like the team, you can
work out some stuff you know on this you know,
get right game for you.
Speaker 2 (17:33):
So easy enough with that one. We'll world right through that.
Speaker 1 (17:37):
Vikings at the Bears. This one started off Vikings plus
three and a half. Now they're at to minus three
and a half. But you're getting a plus one hundred
on that if you shop the line. Fifty three percent
of bets, but only forty seven percent of money on
the Vikings at three and a hook to Bears getting
fifty three percent of the money here they looked a
little bit improved with Thomas Brown running the show over
Shane Waldron. Over under started forty fives, down to thirty
(17:59):
nine and a half, eighty four percent of bets, but
only forty seven percent of money on the over here
on the money line, eighty six percent of bets, ninety
six percent of money on the Vikings at minus won
seventy five.
Speaker 2 (18:08):
I like the Vikings to win this one, but three
and the hook seems like a lot. I've bet the
Bears can cover that at home.
Speaker 3 (18:13):
Yeah, I would stay away from that number. It's scary,
but I love the Vikings money line there. They're just
a much better team in my opinion. They're eight and
two for a reason. And the Bears, you know, I
know they got back on track last week, but it
was a five alarm fire the week before, and I'm
still worried about him.
Speaker 1 (18:27):
Yeah, I think they have Thomas Brown run. The offense
is going to be better for kittleb Williams down stretch.
Sane Waldron was always a bad match. Felt like the
wrong higher there, and it's one of those ones that
they lived to regret after ultimately firing him. Cowboys taking
on the Washington Commanders and this one started off Cowboys
three and a half point favorites. They are now eleven
point dogs in this one. Seventy five percent of the
(18:50):
bets and eighty one percent of the money are on
the Commanders laying the points. In this he over runners
started at forty six and dropped the forty five eighty
percent of bets, sixty two percent of money on the
over and the money line at minus five point twenty,
which is horrible. Ninety five percent of bets ninety five
percent of money on the Commanders in this one.
Speaker 2 (19:13):
I do believe that Washington can win this. I believe
that Washington could cover this.
Speaker 1 (19:16):
But Cliff Kingsbury struggle with his offense fading late in seasons,
and we started to see a little slippage there. I
wonder if that streak continues here. With Jade Daniels, we.
Speaker 2 (19:26):
Were talking about a get right game for the Chiefs earlier.
Speaker 3 (19:28):
I mean, it doesn't get much juice here than this
Cowboys defense that's playing horrendous football right now, and then
Cooper Rush leading the offense.
Speaker 2 (19:35):
It's that's that'll get you right.
Speaker 1 (19:38):
Yeah. I mean, at what point do the Cowboys even
try out Trey Lance, just to see what they have
in that whole experiment. I mean, they signed back to
the long term deal, so I guess you don't really
have to. But is what's the point of even playing
Cooper Rush at this point? You're not really trying to
win games here.
Speaker 3 (19:53):
Yeah, and maybe you can turn Trey Lance into something.
You know, maybe another team in the league gets a
high opinion of him, and you can turn that into
a compick or even a trader who knows what it's.
Speaker 2 (20:02):
It's better than Cooper Rush.
Speaker 1 (20:05):
The Patriots are visiting the Dolphins, who's keeping their playoff
hopes on life support. This one started off plus seven
and a half Patriots only plus seven, Now Dolphins minus
Seven's got sixty one percent of bets and sixty eight
percent of the money over. Under's gone up from forty
five to forty six, seventy eight percent of bets and
ninety one percent of money on the over Expecting little
fireworks here a minus three sixty.
Speaker 2 (20:27):
On the money line.
Speaker 1 (20:28):
The Dolphins are getting ninety four percent, yes, ninety four
percent of bets and ninety six percent of the money.
Speaker 2 (20:34):
I do like Miami in this one, both to win
and cover.
Speaker 3 (20:39):
I kind of like the Patriots. I think Drake Mason
playing good football. I think he's ready to steal one.
Speaker 2 (20:43):
And I don't know. The Dolphins have been playing a
lot better since TWOA got healthy, but I can't get
those first you know, eight nine games out of my
head fair enough. I do like the Dolphins of this one.
Speaker 1 (20:53):
I'm not just because I suddenly, and having to hold
my nose, had to pick up two A Tagolaloa as
my quarterback this week since Josh Allen is not a
BOM while I'm playing Ryot Edwards, so there's no way
I can sneak this one by him. I'm definitely gonna
hear about it one way or the other, especially if
to A wins it. For me, definitely going to hear
from him on that one. Titans taken on the Texans.
(21:13):
Titan started plus six or plus eight and a half
Texans seventy eight percent of bets seventy seven percent of the.
Speaker 2 (21:18):
Money created pretty consistent betting there.
Speaker 1 (21:20):
Over understarted forty six and a half is plummeted to
forty five and a half. This has a huge disparity too.
Eighty percent of the bets are on the over at
forty eight and a half. Seventy three percent of the
money is on the under here. Not expecting fireworks anti
fireworks almost in this show, and at least from the
betting public at large, ninety eight percent of bets ninety
percent of money on the Texans to went out right
(21:40):
at minus three seventy five on the money line.
Speaker 2 (21:42):
But this is an interesting, interesting deal here.
Speaker 1 (21:44):
You got eighty percent of the tickets are on the over,
but seventy three percent of the money is on the
under here.
Speaker 2 (21:49):
Yeah, I think I would go with the under on
this one. Will Levis against this Texans defense, I think.
Speaker 3 (21:53):
That's going to be a really hard road to tread
to get some points, and then you got to get
to forty with the Texans all on their own just about.
Speaker 2 (22:03):
And I don't love how Bobby Slovic's been doing fair enough.
Speaker 1 (22:06):
I like the Texans to win this thing out right
and probably cover that that's seven and a half. But
the Titans are brutally bad, and I think they've known
that for a while. It's part of the reason they
had sort of a fire sale going on earlier in
the season before the trade deadline. I don't like their
odds here, and again that forty and a half. That
is just a fascinating bet split, right there. A fifty
three percent bet split between tickets and money is always
(22:27):
something to kind of open your eyes about.
Speaker 2 (22:29):
Lions taken on the Colts.
Speaker 1 (22:32):
And I think Broncos have a rooting interest in Dan
Campbell's knee byters Hankle Biers so as it were, was
started off minus two and a half out of minus
seven and a half, eighty nine percent of bets, eighty
nine percent of money on the Lions minus seven and
a half over under started forty eight and a half
to out to fifty seventy one percent of bets, sixty
six percent of money on the over in this one
on the money line, ninety seven percent of bets, ninety
nine percent of money on the Lions minus three sixty.
(22:55):
Love the Lions and this one love the Lions minus
seven and a half. I'm not even mess with the
over runner, don't care, but I love the Lives to
win outright and to cover, Yeah, me too, And a great.
Speaker 3 (23:04):
News for the Broncos. Colts loss here would help them
out a lot, and they get the best team in
the NFL, he.
Speaker 1 (23:09):
Said, would and the Broncos, of course, will be playing
the Colts a little later on in this season. Last
game on the early slate, Buccaneers at the Giants bucks
minus six, started minus one.
Speaker 2 (23:21):
They're out to minus six.
Speaker 1 (23:21):
Eighty two percent of bets, ninety percent of money on
the Bucks minus six here over under start of forty four,
down to forty one, eighty seven percent of bets, sixty
two percent of money on the over here on the
money line, ninety four percent of bets, ninety seven percent
of money on the Buccaneers to beat the Giants.
Speaker 2 (23:37):
I love the Bucks to win.
Speaker 1 (23:38):
I love the Bucks to cover and Tommy DeVito leapfrogging
Drew Lock.
Speaker 2 (23:42):
Drew did not look happy about that in the interview clip.
I saw, No, that was rough and on.
Speaker 3 (23:47):
You know, I've not been the biggest Drew Lock guy,
but I get it. He was absolutely We heard it
all summer long. He was signed there with the promise
of potentially competing for that starting spot, and now he's,
you know, locked in behind Tommy DaVita. Yeah, I'll we
picked the Bucks in this one. Tommy de Vito against
Todd Bulls. That sounds like the Elevator's scene in The
Shining to me.
Speaker 2 (24:06):
Yeah, again. Yeah, Tommy DeVito.
Speaker 3 (24:08):
You know the only thing I can think of is
that the Giants are trying to keep the tank alive
here because there's no reason to go to not go
to Drew Locke here. That just did not make sense
to me, and I think we all know about the
financial incentives.
Speaker 1 (24:22):
There as well. Niners taken on the Packers here. Niners
started off two and a half point favorites. There are
three point dogs on the road to the Packers.
Speaker 2 (24:32):
I don't like that at all.
Speaker 1 (24:33):
Eighty percent of bets eighty six percent of money on
the Niners plus three over understarted forty seven, drop to
forty six and a half, seventy three percent of bets,
sixty three percent of money on the over. On the
money line, the bets are evenly split a fifty fifty,
but eighty two percent of money is on the Niners here,
especially at plus one p forty. I like the Niners
to go into Green Bay and beat the Packers. Let's say,
(24:56):
you zax Seegers.
Speaker 2 (24:57):
You know it's not a super technical pick that just
based on vibes, I'm going with the Packers. I think
these are two funky teams.
Speaker 3 (25:03):
This season, kind of not moving up texpectations. The Packers
are the team finding a way to win games, and
I felt the Niners are finding a.
Speaker 2 (25:08):
Way to lose them.
Speaker 1 (25:10):
Yeah, that's it, isn't Jerry Alexander now out for this one.
Speaker 3 (25:15):
That's concerning. That's certainly concerning. But the forty nine ers
don't have the same arsenal to take advantage of that
that they normally do.
Speaker 2 (25:20):
Just that is fair. But I'll still go with the
Niners on this one. I just I don't know.
Speaker 1 (25:27):
We'll see, maybe may maybe the Niners make me make
me regret that. The Cardinals, who sit atop the NFC West,
taking on the NFC West opponent Seattle Seahawks. This one
is interesting because if you shop the line, you can
get either team at plus Cardinals at plus point five,
the Seahawks at plus one.
Speaker 2 (25:45):
Technically, the Cardinals are kind of a favorite on the
road here.
Speaker 1 (25:48):
Fifty two percent of bets fifty nine percent of money
is on the Seahawks plus one. The over under started
at forty eight and a half down to forty seven
and a half, seventy two percent of bets sixty seven
percent of money on the over in this one. On
the money line, fifty tickets are all the Seahawks, but
sixty seven percent of money is on the Cardinals on
the road.
Speaker 2 (26:06):
In this one.
Speaker 1 (26:07):
I like Arizona to maintain their lead on the UNFC
West on the road, and me too.
Speaker 3 (26:13):
Shout out to your guy Jonathan Gannon. He's done a
great job there. I think it's one of the better
coach teams.
Speaker 2 (26:17):
In the league.
Speaker 3 (26:17):
They're playing above their talent level and Seattle is lucky
to get away with the win against San Frae last week.
Speaker 1 (26:23):
Yeah, the Cardinals, it's gonna be interesting to see what
happens in this offseason. They make it rated for their
coordinator Drew Pets and the offensive coordinator.
Speaker 2 (26:29):
To go be a hot name.
Speaker 1 (26:30):
And Nick Rollis, who's the defensive coordinator there, has been
nicknamed by many around the league as the Sean McVay
of defense might be the one of the hot names.
Is a defensive minded head coach, very young guy, but
a defensive minded head coach that gets some looks out there.
He's he's a guy with kind of an identic photographic memory,
and I think you're going to see you got to
see some teams making a play at him. Sunday night,
(26:51):
football Eagles taking on the Rams. This one started off
Rams or Eagles plus one. Rather now it's Eagles minus three,
although you can get that plus one hundred few plays
and sixty percent of bets seventy four percent of money
on the Eagles on the over. Under started forty seven
out to forty eight and a half, seventy three percent
of bets seventy two percent of money on the over
in this one. On the money line, people are hammering
(27:12):
the Eagles eighty nine percent of bets and ninety five
percent of money on Philly on the road on Sunday
Night football. I have gone back and forth on this,
but I landed on the Eagles.
Speaker 3 (27:23):
I'm going Eagles too. I can't believe it. I thought
they were a tire fire a few weeks ago. But
Syrian he's turned it around. They look really good right now.
Speaker 2 (27:30):
Yeah, they do. And Vic Fangel's got their defense playing
lights out there at Philadelphia. So uh, it's it's something
to keep your eye on the Rams.
Speaker 1 (27:37):
And if it's been a little short handed at times,
you know, struggling games they shouldn't but lost some games,
and struggling games they shouldn't.
Speaker 2 (27:43):
Have at times, you wonder exactly how.
Speaker 1 (27:45):
Committed Sean McVay. You know how burnt out he is
and how committed he is. He made need a little
little break. Game of the Week Monday Night Football, Baltimore
Ravens at the Los Angeles Chargers.
Speaker 2 (27:55):
Ravens started out minus three.
Speaker 1 (27:56):
It's minus two and a half, sixty four percent of bets,
seventy eight.
Speaker 2 (27:59):
Percent of money on the rate.
Speaker 1 (28:00):
Evens over under started forty seven, out to fifty and
a half, seventy one percent of bets, seventy five percent
of money on the over. On the money line, everybody's
on the Ravens eighty two percent of bets, ninety four
percent of money on the Ravens. I like the Chargers
at home against the Ravens.
Speaker 3 (28:13):
I'm with you here, the kind of back to the
forty nine Ers Packers game. The Chargers keep finding a
way to win win games, the Ravens keep finding ways
to lose them. This is the least Chargery team I
can ever remember. And Jim Harbaugh's got to be the
reason why.
Speaker 2 (28:26):
Yeah, they certainly look look renewed there.
Speaker 1 (28:29):
Of course we skipped one. We'll go back to that
right now. That would be the Denver Broncos at the
Las Vegas Raiders. This one started off Broncos plus three.
It's out the Broncos minus six. Now eighty percent of bets,
eighty three percent of money on the Broncos over unders
started forty two and a half drop half point forty
one and a half at plus one hundred on the juice,
eighty two percent of bets, eighty two.
Speaker 2 (28:47):
Percent of money on the over in this one.
Speaker 1 (28:50):
On the money line at minus two sixty seven, the
Broncos are getting ninety three percent of tickets, ninety six
percent of money. I love Denver to win. I love
Denver to cover in this one and break the streak
in Las Vegas. Me too.
Speaker 3 (29:02):
I don't know how Vegas scores points against this team
unless you get a lucky Brock Bowers play that covers
eighty yards. And I think the Broncos aren't gonna have
much trouble scoring against this Ragers team. They put up
thirty when we were still getting the bad version of
bow next earlier.
Speaker 1 (29:17):
Yeah, and that was the one where Bowers did get
free and get a touchdown in that one, one eighty yards.
But he did get free and get one in that one.
You just got to be a little careful of that.
The Raiders pretty banged up. I mean they're missing even
more on defense now, it gets some problems in the
run game with running backs. It's just it's just a
team that, you know, I think they hired the wrong coach,
they built the wrong roster. They just don't have the
pieces that I think that they need to in order
(29:40):
to be able to pull this thing off. And I
think the Broncos going to go on the road, get
it done and put it to them.
Speaker 2 (29:46):
So there we go around the league with all that,
any any of those games you feel the strongest about,
maybe the Broncos.
Speaker 3 (29:53):
Maybe I'm kind of got s s where on classes,
but with where how this team is playing right now.
They got a top five offense, and if you look
at like EPA per play, expected points outed per play,
they're a top five offense too. It's hard to be
a team playing that way, as we've seen with the
Chiefs these past three years.
Speaker 1 (30:09):
Yeah, I again, I don't understand how the Raiders would
even have I would even have a chance in that one.
Speaker 2 (30:16):
I just don't. This looks like something the Broncos are
gonna come in to dominate.
Speaker 1 (30:19):
I don't want to be overconfident. But at the same time,
I mean, you know, you look at what the Raiders
are putting on the field, and it just does not
look like a competitive football team. It's just like the
Carolina thing, you know, where you're just like, Okay, if
you took the best guys in this team and combine
them with the best guys from the Panthers, you still
wouldn't have a team that we win a lot of games.
Speaker 3 (30:36):
Yeah, there's a huge gap in terms of the roster town,
which is amazing considering the situation the Broncos find themselves
in in terms of team building on the tax line.
Speaker 1 (30:46):
The five four to one asked, what are five names
we too early the Broncos could draft this guy.
Speaker 2 (30:50):
We're gonna get into some of that tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (30:52):
I think we're gonna start start talking about a little
bit of this stuff tomorrow, So you want to stick
around for that. We'll get into a little bit of that.
Speaker 2 (30:59):
And and that.
Speaker 1 (31:00):
The the Raiders game, you're you're kind of hoping that
we get up to a big lead so we can
rest some guys because the Browns are going to be
operating on a week and a half arrest you know. Uh,
so you're kind of hope and I think a little
bit that that maybe you know that you can get
out to a big lead and not playing like they
were when it was in Denver where they got down
ten nothing and then had a battle back. I think you,
(31:21):
I think if you're looking at this, I think you're
hoping that they never get out to the lead, and
then you could get some of these young guys in
there for extended reps that.
Speaker 2 (31:28):
Maybe you may not you know, maybe you may not
play as much as you normally would.
Speaker 1 (31:32):
I wouldn't mind seeing a big aldred guest to make game,
you know, saving Javonte for the for the Brown because
they're a tough, physical football team and they've got a
good pass rush too, you know, so maybe we'll get
some reps. So we get to Palshowski out there, get
him some reps, get the other guys, uh, a little
bit of rest, maybe some of those offensive linemen a
little rest.
Speaker 2 (31:48):
Maybe maybe we get up enough.
Speaker 1 (31:49):
Maybe we even see the spark I call him the
autobot because he's the all spark chair instead of.
Speaker 2 (31:55):
That's so gross. I just like that. Oh you like
it somewhere deep, deep down way down, nobody can see it.
Speaker 1 (32:07):
