Speaker 1 (00:20):
Go to the Ka Comes Peril Hotline. Bring on our guy.
Parker Gabriel from the Denver Post at Parker J. Gabriel
on Twitter Parker how goes at this evening?
Speaker 3 (00:28):
I'm doing good.
Speaker 1 (00:28):
I guess Joe doing pretty well.
Speaker 2 (00:31):
You know, I've said it many times that this game
coming up is probably the biggest game for the Denver
Broncos since the run up to Super Bowl fifty. It
is in every way almost a facto playoff game. You
got both these teams coming off of by Broncos obviously
have questions in the secondary on the injury report, but
listed as a four point favorite at the books.
Speaker 1 (00:51):
How are we feeling going into this game?
Speaker 3 (00:55):
Yeah, I like it's a big one. I mean, you know,
it's it should be fun obviously if you're a fan
and you're watching games that really matter, like you want
your team to be playing in them, and then they
are excruciating to watch, unless obviously it's a blowout, and
even then you always have that thing in the back
of your mind. So it's definitely a I think Broncos
(01:18):
fans are in for an experience that probably like it'll
be a little different than it's been mostly in recent years.
I mean, I think like the Houston it had shades
of the Houston game last year, although they weren't nearly
as close to being in at that point as they
are right now, and so there's that element of it,
(01:38):
and then there's just you know, I think it's very
interesting that Sean Payton in the team meeting this morning
laid out what the odds are and you know, in
terms of playoff, you know, ninety one percent if they're
in and you know fifty to fifty if they lose,
and so like, it's just it's got a big game
feel to it, and it's going to be a fun.
Speaker 4 (02:00):
Time, well, Parker, when we look at the quarterback position
on both sides, both of these guys can make throws
down the field. But more importantly, which I think is
going to cause issues for both defenses, is the fact
of these guys, Anthony Richardson and both Knicks they do
a great job of running and that is going to
(02:20):
present some issues. And are you looking at it the
same way, It's going to come down to which one
of these quarterbacks is more effective and ef fishing with
their legs, Yeah, definitely.
Speaker 3 (02:31):
And then I think turnovers obviously, you know in games
like this, turnovers definitely play a role. And so you know,
obviously both Nicks has done a good job of not
taking sacks and not turning the ball over generally speaking
this year. You know, if one of these both of
them are going to probably make places they're legs, one
of them turns all over twice, then you know that's
going to be that's obviously going to have a big
(02:51):
impact on the game. But I think you're right, and
you know, one of the things and and Bensora mentioned
it in terms of the injury questions for Denver in
the secondary, you know, a couple of times and lamar
Jack's obviously a different animal than pretty much you know
that that is a different challenge than pretty much anybody
else in the NFL. But you know, the more the
(03:13):
Broncos have struggled some and the numbers bearried out, they
they've they've been much better playing man. They've been playing zone.
And when you've got a quarterback who you're worried about
taking up and running, you're not as comfortable playing a
ton of man because you know, you turn your backs
to the quarterback and he gets out and runs, and
that that makes for an interesting challenge, just in the
(03:36):
sense that like indies offensive sort of boom or busts right,
Like the completion percentage are bad, the efficiency is not
very good, but they can hit you for seventy five
really quick. So you know all about that challenge, Nick like,
it just makes I think for an interesting cat and
mouse game between Shane.
Speaker 1 (03:55):
Psyche and Vance Joseph Tunga Parker, Gabriel Parker.
Speaker 2 (03:59):
You know, again not the harp on it, but the
secondary Riley Moss still sideline. That practice probably going to
be out a couple of games. To be honest, as
we look at this, how big a loss is that
for this defense?
Speaker 3 (04:11):
Yeah, well it's a big one. And I think, like
I think, I think all of us on training camp,
like you go back to July and August, I think
we all watched Riley Moss playing training camp and thought, Wow,
that guy was pretty good. But I don't think you
could have predicted that in week fourteen we would be
sitting here week fifteen, we'd be sitting here and saying, man,
(04:33):
the domino effect of Riley Moss being out is really
palpable on this defense. But that's sort of where we are,
and I mean, it's definitely where we are, and so
it's gonna be a big difference. I think it will
be very interesting to see, you know, whether it's Levi
Wallace or if it's Chris Abram's drain on the outside.
I feel like they've they've sort of found the role
(04:55):
that they like for tomar nathis just like at this
point in the season, now you know, see they could
they could put him into expanded duty as well. But
you know, I thought Chris aber Madraine handled himself pretty well,
uh in crunch time against Cleveland when they threw him
in for the one series that really mattered and you know,
he had the pass interference. Finally, I'm not I wasn't
(05:17):
too concerned about what his technique and positioning look like.
I'm not play to be honest, but yeah, it's gonna
be really interesting to see how to handle it. But
you know, Riley mosmiths in the time with an empty
l injury and then just you know, sort of seeing
how quickly or not quickly he can get back. It
has a big impact on what they do defensively.
Speaker 4 (05:36):
Parker, how do you think this? Uh, the Broncos are
going to respond with the bye being so late. And
the reason I say that because usually when we look
at the schedules players, we want to make sure that
we get that that buye possibly in that the first
two quarters of the season, and I'm talking about you know,
week six, week between week six and week eight. How
(05:57):
do you think the Bronco's going to respond? No one
is so it is so late in the season. Do
you think it's going to rejuvenate them or you think
it's going to be something that kind of.
Speaker 5 (06:07):
Hurts them in a certain way because of momentum.
Speaker 3 (06:10):
Yeah, I think is the answer to those two questions.
I mean, you know, the challenge obviously is the second
thing you said, Nick, where you're just trying to make
sure that it doesn't sort of put a crimp in
the momentum that you've generated. But I also think that,
you know, I was talking to a couple of players
before the bye week, and the universal sentiment basically was like,
(06:33):
if you're bad, a late bye week is terrible because
not only do you have to play through a lot
before you get there, but then you get there and
it's December and you're looking around going like, can we
just be done with this? But conversely, a really late
bye week can be really good for a team in
contention because there's a lot of teams in contention that
(06:54):
don't get the buy right now or whatever their injury
situation is. It's only getting worse from here. You know,
you don't get a chance to rest a little bit
and reset. And not only does Denver get that, and
so does Indie by the way, going into this matchup,
but the Broncos get you know, this one the bye
week that's now over, and then the mini buy after
(07:14):
the Thursday night game next week too, And so obviously
it's two games in a short period of time on Sunday,
and then Thursday. But there's also it's also bookended by
a lot more rest than most teams get this time
of year, and most teams in contention are going to
get this year, and so if they can push that
rest to their advantage, I think it can be a
(07:35):
major factor. But they just have to avoid the second
part of it, which is you've been in such a
good rhythm, is there any wagon picking it back up?
Speaker 1 (07:44):
Talking with Parker Gabriel the Parker J. Gabriel on Twitter, Parker,
let's talk. We talked about the optimistic side of things.
Let's talk about the pessimistic side of things. You blow
this against the Indie.
Speaker 2 (07:54):
You got a Thursday night, short week game against a
very physical Chargers football team, and you don't land that
looking at because the goalposts I think have moved from
the beginning of the season. At the beginning of the season,
we were laughing at the books for only having five
and a half wins. But at the same time, I
don't think too many people were sitting here saying, you know,
it's a playoff caliber football team.
Speaker 1 (08:11):
Meanwhile, as we sit.
Speaker 2 (08:11):
Here now, I think for most of the fan base,
not making the playoffs would be a massive disappointment.
Speaker 3 (08:18):
Yeah, definitely. You know how like maybe I use the
say view it is with you guys a couple of
weeks ago. I know I've used this analogy before. It's like,
if you're a if you're a thirteen seed in the
NCAA tournament and you're you're leading like in the first half,
that's all well and good, but there comes a tipping
point in the game where it's like, hey, listen, you're
leading by five with form at the under four time out, Like,
(08:40):
now you've got to win. It goes from being a
good story that you have that you sort of surprise
people to you've got a real chance. Now it's going
to be a crusher if you don't pull it off.
And so like that is where the productos are not
maybe they were a thirteen seed to start the year
or whatever, but there weren't a lot of external expectations.
(09:01):
And so now that you're here, you should make it
and if you don't, it's going to be a disappointment.
I mean, certainly for fans, and then I mean even
more obviously for the players and coaches involved. And you
know they play between Sunday and Thursday, they play two
games and they could very legitimately either clinch or have
(09:24):
odds like in the ten percent range if they lose
both games. And so it really is. It's pretty fascinating
that in a five day span you are basically going
to go a long way in determining the fate of
the team. Four games left, and half of them come
in really quick successions.
Speaker 4 (09:43):
Now, usually we're at the point of the season where
a lot of talk is about postseason award.
Speaker 5 (09:50):
So I'm going to put you on a hot seat
for a second.
Speaker 4 (09:53):
Now, if you had to look at the Broncos roster,
you can only choose one player, one player only to
say that that player is the MVP of the Broncos team.
Speaker 5 (10:05):
Which player would that be and why?
Speaker 3 (10:09):
Yeah, I would be interested in your guys answer to
this question as well. I get I thought about this,
and I just have a hard time not ticking Patzertan
because of what he means to the defense, because of
the extent to which they've built the defense around him.
I mean, you saw the scramble mode of what happened
(10:29):
when he got hurt on the first play against the Chargers,
and what the rest of that half looked like until
they sort of got back on their feet. I mean,
he's just he's just a remarkable talent. And not only that,
but I think in his own way, he's sort of
you know, he's really ascended in terms of you know,
leadership qualities and all of that this year. And so,
I mean, you could I think the thing about this
(10:51):
team is you could make an argument for other guys.
And you can make an argument for Zach Allen. You
could make an argument for Nick Bonito, you can make
an argument for Bo Nicks. But I think end of
the day, I'm not sure. Like, obviously, the quarterback has
the ball in his hands every offensive play, But I
just I don't know that you can really find many
(11:11):
players in the NFL who have the impact game to game.
You know that Pat has for the Broncos.
Speaker 1 (11:18):
Talk with Parker Gabriel at Parker J.
Speaker 2 (11:20):
Gabriel on the Twitter machine, Parker, Broncos win this game
of flight, they lose this game of flood.
Speaker 3 (11:27):
They win the game if they played the way that
they've played the last you know, most of the last
ten weeks. I mean that if they don't turn the
ball over, they don't make the critical error. I think ultimately,
you know, they find a way to win. I mean, conversely,
you know, they lose the game if they played defensively
the way they played the last time we saw them
(11:49):
against against Cleveland. Like in, these weapons are good. They
probably are going to have all three of their receivers
in downs at Menham Pierce. That hasn't been the case
for you know, parts of the season. Each of those
I think two of them at least have dealt injuries
this year. They're not probably as good as Cleveland's trio receivers,
(12:10):
but they have the ability to get over the top.
And you know, if you've got Colts galloping free at
the third level, you could find yourself in trouble really quick.
And obviously they have to stop the run with Jonathan
Taylor and also with Anthony Richardson. So it's a dangerous offense.
It's a boomer Bus offense. If they hold him in
check and play the way they've been playing offensively, I
(12:31):
think they'll be fine. But you know, deviate from that
plan too much and it could get it could get
sticky pretty quick.
Speaker 6 (12:40):
Hark are we We appreciate the time as always kind
of a break.
Speaker 1 (12:43):
Look forward to CD down there on Sunday and go Broncos.
Speaker 5 (12:47):
So I'm good having good guests absolete.
Speaker 2 (12:49):
Take care of Parker Gabriel at Parker J. Gabriel on Twitter.
Also there on the you can also catch his work
at the Denver Post. We love reading his stuff.
Speaker 1 (12:57):
So we got to hit a break.
Speaker 2 (13:00):
But when we come back at the NFL six pack
and maybe an explanation as to why Nick Ferguson's curled
up in the corner of affic Broncos Country to nine.
Speaker 5 (13:15):
Any part of that.
Speaker 2 (13:16):
You go to Broncos Country dot com, slash podcast, maybeach
podcast app iTunes, Spotify's ll the Freight off of My
Heart radio app see mane of y'all can get that
false stto Like Greg, It's like, did he gets a
he gets he gets up there, he's a high note
like Mariah Carey.
Speaker 4 (13:29):
I don't know, well, I don't know if it's Mariah
Carrey esque, but he gets up there.
Speaker 1 (13:34):
I'm just saying he hits a high though he gets
he gets up.
Speaker 5 (13:36):
Is that like a false satto? I'm sure, Okay, I
get what's what we're going with.
Speaker 1 (13:41):
Yeh, the false settle with falsetto. Yeah, that's what we're
going with on the show. We could be wrong.
Speaker 2 (13:45):
We're wrong five six expenses of text line. You can
absolutely tell us how wrong we are with that.
Speaker 1 (13:50):
Let's get to the NFL six pack. It is time
for the NFL six pat I'm gonna drink a lot
of beer.
Speaker 3 (13:56):
Insight and insight information you can't find anywhere else.
Speaker 1 (14:00):
No six the toplines? What all right?
Speaker 6 (14:08):
Next time we are here tomorrow night, the Rains and
the forty nine ers that be playing on Thursday Night football.
Speaker 7 (14:16):
Who do you think wins that game? And who do
you think wins the NFC West.
Speaker 1 (14:21):
That's a good question. The other Niners have taking a
big step back this year.
Speaker 2 (14:25):
I still feel like that this is gonna be a
fun game, tough game against two coaches and both wanting
Do we have any update on Isaclendo yet? I know
I picked up Patrick Taylor from a fantasy team just
in case I got Patrick Taylor last week. I had
no update on Grande yet. Okay, yeah, the footage, we
may not be able to go for the forty nine Ers.
It might be down to like their fifth and sixth
string running backs.
Speaker 7 (14:44):
In this game.
Speaker 1 (14:45):
Not that it'll matter.
Speaker 2 (14:46):
They just keep churning them out. It's like it's just
like his dad did back in the day. Kyle just
keeps churning them out, doesn't matter. Could be a made
up name, oldas Gary, that's not a real person's name,
and he still went out there ran for a thousand yards.
Speaker 4 (14:57):
Well, honestly, this man, both of you guys a tripper
right now, because for.
Speaker 5 (15:01):
Me, it's the Rams at this particular point, looking.
Speaker 4 (15:05):
At how Kyra Williams has continued to blossom and then
pooking the corps after spending like eight weeks on IR
and he's coming back. He's looking magnificent. But the biggest
thing is it's injuries. I mean, this forty nine ers
team has been decimated by injuries.
Speaker 5 (15:22):
I mean you lose like three running backs.
Speaker 4 (15:25):
Over two week period, so they're gonna have to grab
someone off the street. And I know Kyle has been brilliant,
just like Mike in the pass as far as putting
someone back there and being successful. But I think the
injuries are too much, too much for the forty nine
ers to bear.
Speaker 5 (15:39):
So Rams win.
Speaker 2 (15:40):
Niners are three point favorite in this. Although they've lost
three of their last four, Rams have won three of
their last.
Speaker 1 (15:45):
Four two.
Speaker 6 (15:49):
Deebo Samuel talking about those forty nine ers. Deebo Samuel
has already griped about the forty nine Ers on.
Speaker 7 (15:55):
Social media this season.
Speaker 6 (15:56):
He's you know, the throat shopped a holder and now
he's admitted publicly to the media that he is upset
he's not getting the ball more in this season's forty
nine ers attack. Do you guys think this is Deebo
Samuel's last season with the San Francisco forty nine ers
and could he maybe wind up in Denver?
Speaker 2 (16:16):
I don't think he wants in the Denver. I don't know,
and I don't know about his last season there. I mean,
he's a large part of what they do. His versatility
has been a large part.
Speaker 3 (16:28):
Of what they do.
Speaker 2 (16:29):
If Deevil Samuel wants to get the ball more, how
about not being like fourth in the NFL and drop passes,
just saying like, you know, you want to get the
ball a little bit more, maybe hang on to it
when you do get it. It has been a down
year for him, but they've had some injuries, they've had
some other other issues and all that kind of stuff.
Speaker 1 (16:45):
I mean, you spent out and all that.
Speaker 2 (16:46):
You know. So he's getting primary, primary coverage and it
changes up the way they do things, So you.
Speaker 1 (16:51):
Know, I don't I don't think it's his last season
there right now.
Speaker 2 (16:54):
Lets something changes, but they're gonna have to figure some
things out because I get some some payments come and.
Speaker 1 (16:59):
Do here in this next year, Red's coming due.
Speaker 5 (17:03):
Someone's gonna have to pay those receipts.
Speaker 4 (17:05):
But no, I don't think Deebo Samley's going anywhere because
he is a mainstay in that offense and he is
their Swiss army knife, duel everything.
Speaker 5 (17:14):
Type of guy.
Speaker 4 (17:15):
And for Debo not to be there, that would disrupt
the whole franchise as far as what they want to
do and what they're looking to accomplish. And right now,
I can understand him being upset. It's like any wide receiver.
You are called a wide receiver. Your job is to
catch balls and they're not throwing to you. That becomes
(17:35):
a problem, especially with your paycheck being what it is.
So I can understand Deebo being a little upset that
he's not being more involved in offense, especially with Brendon
and I being out of the offense.
Speaker 1 (17:46):
But he's not going anywhere free.
Speaker 6 (17:52):
All right, at the very bottom of the NFL standings,
the two biggest bottom feeders there are the Raiders and
the Giants, last two NFL teams with only two wins,
the current heavy favorite for the number one and number
two overall draft picks. Do you think either of these
teams would make a good landing spot for Colorado Stars
Shador Sanders or Travis Hunter?
Speaker 7 (18:13):
Like any team is a good.
Speaker 1 (18:14):
Landing spot for Travis Hunter.
Speaker 2 (18:16):
I mean, you know, you get an all caliber corner
who can who can offer you some some some wide
receiver play as well.
Speaker 1 (18:23):
Any place is a good place for him. But for Shador,
I mean.
Speaker 5 (18:26):
I guess it depends on who's coaching.
Speaker 1 (18:27):
Those teams next year.
Speaker 5 (18:29):
You know, I I.
Speaker 2 (18:33):
Know that there's a relationship, and I think that there's
an idea that Shador would go to the Raiders. But
the New York market, you know, you could make a
ton of money if you're if you're successful up there.
Speaker 1 (18:41):
You look at Shadoor, you look at what he's.
Speaker 2 (18:42):
Got to throw to up there, at the elite neighbors
why Dale Robinson and what they got up there. If
they get any semblance of a run game and an
offensive line, uh, Shador could be a star in the
making in the biggest market in America.
Speaker 1 (18:53):
So you know, I think both are fine. It would
be interesting to.
Speaker 2 (18:56):
See CEEU fans if Chador does go to the Raiders,
if there's a hatred there whatever with the rivalry.
Speaker 4 (19:01):
See I love you you led with if, because if, sir,
possibly maybe are certain things that may not work out.
And to put Shador behind that Giant's offensive line, albeit
similar to what he.
Speaker 5 (19:19):
Endure in his first season on the center for the Buffs.
Speaker 4 (19:23):
I don't think you want to subject a quarterback that
you're selecting in the first round to that understanding. Daniel
Jones was not set up for success. He was beat
up himself, and he felt as though he had depressed
to make place. You don't want to do that, and
I'm sure if I'm coach prim the only time I
want either Chador or Travis going to New York is
(19:43):
this Saturday, and this Saturday only.
Speaker 7 (19:47):
I've always heard a worth a fifth.
Speaker 3 (19:49):
Four, Well you hard any callback?
Speaker 1 (19:57):
I appreciate a good callback.
Speaker 6 (19:58):
Well God, Bill Belichick surprisingly accepting the tar Heel job,
He's now going to be off the market for those
NFL head coaching jobs.
Speaker 7 (20:08):
Which team, maybe Jackson.
Speaker 5 (20:09):
Bill wid Dallas?
Speaker 6 (20:10):
Which team do you think is impacted the most by
this news, And which perspective candidate do you think is
impacted the most by this news.
Speaker 1 (20:18):
Oh, that's interesting.
Speaker 2 (20:20):
Jacksonville is probably the team that's impacted the most, all
of the Giants maybe as well. There was some thought
that Bill Belichick would go return to the New York
to take over and all that kind of stuff. So
those are the teams which candidate of Rabel, probably because
this probably pays the way for him to have his
choices being the season. The coach that comes in on
this kind of stuff that would be, my guess is
(20:44):
Mike Rabel. I mean, I guess it would affect Patricia
and the Joe Judge and Josh McDaniels in the sense
that they'll get jobs at UNC, whereas they would.
Speaker 1 (20:51):
Be otherwise probably unemployed.
Speaker 4 (20:53):
For me, it doesn't affect a soul because guess what,
you're assuming that these teams were in a line in
the market for Bill Belichick. If that was the case,
he wouldn't have become the new head coach of the UNC.
Speaker 5 (21:06):
TAYO.
Speaker 4 (21:07):
So the door is wide open for every other coach
because Bill Belichick is considered to be somewhat dare I
say it a football relic.
Speaker 1 (21:18):
I think he's saying old. I didn't see five.
Speaker 7 (21:23):
To throwers out of my mouth each of the past
two weeks.
Speaker 6 (21:26):
Raheem Morris, Atlanta Falcons head coach has had to answer
questions about benching Kirk Cousins for Michael Pennix. How long
do you think Kirk cousins leash is at this point
in the season, And do you think or sorry, how many.
Speaker 7 (21:39):
Games, if any, do you think Michael Pennix will start
this year?
Speaker 2 (21:43):
It won't happen until Atlanta's eliminated from playoff contention or
if Kirk Cousins is to hurt to be able to go.
Speaker 7 (21:51):
No, Jay Cutler or Jake Plumber's situation.
Speaker 2 (21:53):
No, I mean, look, the Atlanta's still in the thick
of the fight for a wildcard spot. You know, they're
one game behind the Rams, two games behind Washington. They're
still in the thick of it for a wildcard spot.
To be honest with you, only one game out of
the division as far as that goes. So Michael Pennis
is not going to start until they're eliminated from playoff contention.
Speaker 4 (22:14):
I'm gonna agree with that, because when you look in
fact at that the Falcons play the Raiders and they
play the Giants the next two weeks.
Speaker 5 (22:21):
Both of those are winnable games.
Speaker 4 (22:23):
Now, if you look at Kirk Cousins, he's been a
turnover machine over the past couple of games. If he
continues to do that against the Raiders game heading into
the week of the Giants, you would definitely consider it
if you Royie Morris, because now you're saying, well, you're
giving Pennis an.
Speaker 5 (22:38):
Easy team, Well, teams are easy.
Speaker 4 (22:40):
Well, you're giving him an option, an opportunity to actually
beat a Giants team and build up his confidence as
you roll into face Washington next week. But this is
something that they have to really think about because they play,
they pay her Cousin's a normoust amount of money, and
right now that investment is not showing up.
Speaker 7 (23:01):
Six Right now, a clip is going viral that teach,
what is that.
Speaker 4 (23:16):
On me?
Speaker 5 (23:19):
You're trying to pass with toe with me? Excuse it's
likely explment denial male.
Speaker 7 (23:26):
The clip is going viral.
Speaker 6 (23:29):
Clip is going viral that features Mark Gastono confronting Brett
Farr for taking a dive that cost him the single
season sack record.
Speaker 7 (23:36):
Have you seen the clip, And what do you think
about Mark Gaston and Brett Farre's response to the situation.
Speaker 2 (23:41):
I think, of all the things to go after, Brett
Faarr for taking a dive on a sack is probably
like the lowest on the totem pole. And if you
ask any quarterback to play against Mark Gaston, they'll all
say the same thing that he was a dirty, cheap
shot artist and they don't really have any sympathy for
him as far as that kind of stuff goes. I
understand if you're like that, you're I can see it's
your claim to fame. But what are you doing confronting
(24:02):
Brett Fahr for like fifteen years after it happened at
a member of Billie Show or whatever it was out
of the blue.
Speaker 1 (24:08):
That's kind of weird. I didn't really, I mean, I
don't have sympathy for either one of them.
Speaker 2 (24:13):
They're thoroughly unlikable people and honestly America lost tennis or one.
Speaker 1 (24:17):
However you view it.
Speaker 4 (24:18):
Well, for me, that's gangster, right, yes, I mean, I mean,
think about it, it's years after the fact. You were,
you were there at the stadium, Giants Stadium when it
actually happened. You congratulate Michael Straighthan, but then later on,
years later, you confront him and you're like, hey man,
what's the deal. And to be totally honest, if you
(24:39):
go back and watch the play, you can see Brett
Fahr on the ground smiling. Wow wow, straight hand, straight
handed Saxon. So I understand gas Know's point because that
seem as though that wasn't an actual set right with
like an unforced era like oh I fell on the ground,
he took off the run and he kind of took
a dive.
Speaker 1 (24:59):
I mean he did, and for me On we don't remember.
Speaker 2 (25:01):
Straight hand was forest buddy. They were buddies at the time,
call buddies and all that kind of stuff. So he
did a favor for his boy and helping him get
the record and all that books. Yeah, you didn't get
a record all that, But I mean, like, look, if
you you want to take a sec and do that,
that's on you. I mean, if if you know, I don't,
it doesn't bother me one way or the other.
Speaker 1 (25:19):
If I held the.
Speaker 2 (25:20):
Record previously, maybe I'd be a little irt about it.
But I'm not showing my you know, I'm not bearing
my backside. What was it like a sports card, membor
bill you show or something, some.
Speaker 6 (25:28):
Sort of autograph side signing or right, like, there's no
way I'm showing my my you know what.
Speaker 2 (25:36):
And showing people that I've held a grudge all this time,
Like I'm not you know, you know my philosophy.
Speaker 1 (25:41):
Never let him see it bleed, right, that's let's let
them see you blea.
Speaker 4 (25:43):
But this is I can understand. I'm not saying I
condone it. But if we're understanding gas AND's points, this
is my legacy.
Speaker 1 (25:50):
Yeah. Right, well let's see. Now what you're doing is
you break You're invoking to Chris rock Rull.
Speaker 5 (25:55):
Where is that?
Speaker 2 (25:56):
Because he was the one that was like they had
the thing where he was talking about how after OJ's
divorce that he was still paying like like twenty thousand
dollars a month and like food fees to like Nicole
Brown Simpson or something. He's like, what, I don't I'm
not condoning anything, but I understand the same thing.
Speaker 5 (26:12):
Man, That's what you're saying.
Speaker 1 (26:13):
You said no, no, no, but I understanding.
Speaker 5 (26:15):
Wait wait, I said the phrase, but I didn't put
it no I say that.
Speaker 1 (26:21):
I'm just saying, Chris, you know He's like, I'm not
how do not condone and murder but understand that. I
was like, I was like, oh man, I was laughing
at that with that was a.
Speaker 2 (26:31):
I as far as Gastonal goes again, you're not going
to find a quarterback from that era or that's sympathetic
to Hi.
Speaker 3 (26:35):
I'm sorry.
Speaker 7 (26:37):
Yeah, his teammates don't seem.
Speaker 2 (26:41):
There's not really a rush of people to mark Gastonoll's defense.
Speaker 6 (26:44):
You know, it was part of this whole thing came
out as part of like I think it's an E
sixty or or some sort of ESPN thirty thirty thirty
for thirty, some sort of thing that they're doing. And uh,
they interviewed you know, Kleco and all his teammates from
that Jets defense, and they're like, we've got no sympathy
for you. You were a selfish player, Like you're glad
you got those those sacks, but we don't have any.
Speaker 7 (27:05):
Sympathy for you.
Speaker 2 (27:06):
No.
Speaker 1 (27:07):
I didn't even see those parts of it.
Speaker 2 (27:08):
I like, I saw Boomerosciasin came out today and was
called him a cheap shot artist and uh and all
that kind of stuff.
Speaker 5 (27:14):
So there, there's there's not a lot of sympathy from
Marc hous Ont's Again, I.
Speaker 4 (27:17):
Can understand the whole idea and the whole concept, but
just imagine if you were a dB and you held
the record for interceptions in the given season, and then's
some quarter balls. Jadny Mahlomes comes the lobby one up. Yeah,
just lob not even lobby, just underhands it to them. Yeah,
you're gonna be pissed off and you're gonna hold that
grudge for years.
Speaker 5 (27:35):
Probably.
Speaker 1 (27:35):
I'm just not showing my backside about it.
Speaker 3 (27:37):
You know.
Speaker 2 (27:37):
As far as that comes, it's because how how weird
is it where you get a situation where Brett Farv
becomes the likable one.
Speaker 6 (27:46):
Yeah, you've got to think really low to get that guy, like,
you know, like, how do we well breath becomes the
likable person?
Speaker 2 (27:54):
Right, far stole money from welfare people in Mississippi to
build a volleyball court for his daughter in college at
Southern Mississippi.
Speaker 5 (28:04):
Can't make this stuff up.
Speaker 1 (28:05):
You get out of here.
Speaker 6 (28:06):
Wow, good of him to look out for Mark Gastono's welfare,
like yeah, right right.
Speaker 2 (28:10):
Yeah, the one time it Yeah, it looks like he
wouldn't looking up for anybody's.
Speaker 1 (28:13):
Welfare at all.
Speaker 5 (28:14):
Good one there. I love what you did.
Speaker 1 (28:16):
You had you had another one on here? Didn't you
go a bullus?
Speaker 5 (28:19):
I got book.
Speaker 7 (28:19):
I got an extra bonus one for you guys.
Speaker 1 (28:22):
Bonus seven back, open it up, a fresh six back.
Speaker 7 (28:26):
What they get this too?
Speaker 4 (28:34):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (28:34):
We got music for you one.
Speaker 7 (28:36):
Let's let's do let's go full nine.
Speaker 4 (28:37):
Uh.
Speaker 7 (28:38):
Trouble in Paradise. Joe Burrow robbed while he's playing Monday
night football down in Dallas, Texas. But the person that
reports the burglary of his home isn't his fiance, your
long term girlfriend. It's Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Olivia Ponton.
What do you guys think about that mess?
Speaker 1 (28:54):
Please?
Speaker 4 (28:57):
Some friends? You know sometime that happens. Man, You have friends,
they come in town, they need a place to stay.
You try to you try to help them out, right,
That's what friends would do. I would anticipate if I
was coming in town and you guys had to plunge crib.
You guys are let me crash. That's how that happens. Right,
there's nothing, there's nothing to see here. Good Samardan, yeah,
(29:17):
a good Samaradan war right, Joe Burrow call it coalkin
home alone.
Speaker 2 (29:24):
Uh huh?
Speaker 5 (29:25):
Why he said, uh huh.
Speaker 1 (29:26):
I mean it's possible she was house sitting, and you
know that kind of thing is possible. It's entirely possible.
Speaker 7 (29:31):
I often fly to Cincinnati two house set.
Speaker 5 (29:36):
You know what. Maybe she was between a layovers. Right,
you say she's a model.
Speaker 4 (29:41):

Speaker 6 (29:45):
I mean I think she had a gig in Cincinnati,
a big, big modeling. You know Cincinnati has had big
modeling now Cincinnati, Ohio, oh Man, Paradise, Milan, La Cincinnati,
Big Bread as you Saint.
Speaker 1 (30:00):
