I'm good man, I'm in tall. I'm doing something for
the mayor. It's just blessed to be out still doing
my thing. Just came off the new single good Enough

got the city wineries this summer, going to Europe, going

Book of Okbar and it kind of again with waiting.
Warner Brothers in sky Dance did a merger. Okay, because
the rights are with Warner Brothers. We can't shoot till
September because they're going through this legal stuff. But still
excited about it. And uh, once that happens, then we're
gonna start and go full steam ahead. But it's a
it's a journey. Kareem gets out of federal prison after

twenty eight years, but he's kind of metamorphosized into this
sort of out Abubakari mansa musa maybe uh, And it's
sort of a it's sort of like a pledge. It's
sort of like a duality for Alki Bulin. Like imagine
if Kimmitt was modern okay, and we were who we
were then in modern times, and that's what the Book

of Akbar kind of becomes. It starts out dealing with
some of the twists from New Jack City, but it's
really not really about it but the beginning of it
and how Kareem gets into that position, like he stole
the tapes. At the end of the original New Jack
City movie, the subplot is bombed to and I get
to kill I's tea in the pilot.

I think it's her inaugur ball and she's celebrating her
birthday and we were invited to come down and perform.

Well, man, I appreciate you coming by and hang it
out with us to look out for that that new
single we'll do definitely. I pray on that new movie
that you got into works with this whole merger thing,
and hope that all comes together in jails. Well, and
you can get to start filming where you gonna film
it that.

Speaker 2 (04:44):
Anyway, New York. It's set in New York. It comes
home halfway House in New York, and uh yeah, and
we just need the permit. We need the permission because
I need those characters. This one secret character that I
need and I need of course ice Tea to see
will be internal affairs. It's still gonna play right, It's
gonna be dope. And we got a great young cast.

It's not even about the old heads in it. It's
really about the young cast that we have, you know,
lined up to play in it. I think it's gonna
be amazing.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
Well, I'm gonna thank you for them giving them the
shot and the opportunity to be in something that's going
to be so monumental, because I already know it's going
to be that way because that's what you do, monumental stuff.
So yeah, I'm thanking you for them.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
Thank you, man. I appreciate that, and I like that
acting man. Whoever that class is, it's dope.

Speaker 1 (05:30):
Well, yeah, it's it's really nice. And my teacher is
a very good instructor and she brings out the best
of me. And you know, worked on these monologues last
night and it was it was pretty good. I got
really deep in emotional I did are you about to laugh?
Are you about to seriously? Life again?

Speaker 2 (05:47):
She's cheeky.

Speaker 1 (05:50):
I'm going to get you in here somehow. Another car
just keeps laughing at me. She leaning to the side
right now because the camera look like that, but she
keeps black but she's so she just keeps laughing at me.

Yeah, okay, I am never okay, never Now you're involved
in the scene with ye, I'm never okay. There's always
something wrong with me. But you know, I do the
best I can. But now that I'm doing these in
prov classes, in these acting classes, now you just never
know what you're gonna get.
