Plumber Reclogs Restaurant Pipes After No On Time Payment

A plumbing company in Indiana is in the news after a restaurant didn’t pay, so the plumber returned and RE-CLOGGED their pipes!

Today, the Crazy train is headed out to Evansville, Indiana. Okay,
picture this. You're running a busy restaurant, dinner rush is on,
orders are coming in. Suddenly your bathroom backs up. Call
the plumber. They come out. Okay, cool, fixed it great,
Get a bill for two hundred and seventy five bucks.

(00:26):
You're not happy with it, you don't want to pay.
A couple hours go by, everything seems fine, and then
your toilet clogs up again.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
Not because of your pipes, not.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
Because of your customers, but because of the plumber.

Speaker 4 (00:42):
He put a balloon into our grease shop and he's
not going to remove it until we paid. Text exchange
between the parties show the owners were given about an
hour to pay their bill before the plumber left for
the weekend.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
The plumber came back and clogged the pope, and we
clogged the pipes.

Speaker 3 (00:58):
Because he was like, oh, you're not gonna pay me.
I got you. Give him some time to pay. He
was not playing around. I'm going to reclog the pipe.
Sure did. I didn't even know you could do that.
I don't know what it's like.

Speaker 2 (01:13):
His vehicle's all on the camera and everything they did
catch it all on video. The restaurant said, we didn't
feel like it was a fair charge.

Speaker 3 (01:21):
That's not cool.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
So the internet is divided because on one hand they're like, Okay,
the plumber did maybe overcharge you. On the other hand,
he did come out and do the work and you
didn't pay. So who's right who's wrong. In the words
of Janet Jackson, I think the restaurant was wrong.

Speaker 3 (01:40):
They should have paid it. They should have paid him,
But that is so shady.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
I'm sure a lot of plumbers wanted to do that,
like recock your pipes. Like I said, I don't even
know you could do that, but it can't pay your bills.
