Speaker 1 (00:00):
He's deeper in the din with dangerous date. Well, you know,
half of the listeners right now are getting buzzed on
their coffee. A lawyer in Fort Worth, Texas is in
the news for claiming you could get a duy for
drinking too much coffee. He posted a video on how
the DUI and DWI doesn't just mean booze or illicit
drugs if they impair your ability to drive. Legal drugs

(00:22):
can also get you in trouble, and specifically he mentioned caffeine.
He said it's not something that actually happens, but it could.
There's some examples of people getting arrested for it. Guy
in California got pulled over in twenty fifteen for driving erradically.
Caffeine was the only thing in his system and they
actually charged him at DUI for it. They eventually dropped
the charge after they couldn't prove there was enough caffeine

(00:45):
to make him intoxicated from it. But in theory, yes,
you could get a duy for having too many espressos.
So if you're head to work, you know it's Monday
and you're getting yourself all hopped up on this stuff,
just warning you be careful. Deeper in the tea. So
would you rather be in a long flight with really
bad turbulence or with a kid screaming the whole way? Well,
America has spoken and it's close, but we'd rather worry

(01:08):
about the plane being ripped apart. They pulled two thousand
flyers to find the top ten things that make us
feel uneasy or uncomfortable while flying. So in the first place,
well basically is a tie. Screaming children fifty one point
six percent make them an easy We're fifty one point
five percent, said turbulence. That was followed by loud adults,
flight delays, bathrooms that are gross, crews that are rude,

(01:31):
people constantly walking up and down the aisles, not getting
to pick your seat, the cabin is too hotter to cold,
and long waits for the bathroom. They also looked at
the top things that put us at ease on flights.
Top five things are a nice crew, choosing your own seat,
good in flight entertainment, enough space to get up and stretch,
and outlets to charge our electronics. Those are the things

(01:52):
that we like. You know, I like a window seat
and a really cheap flight in someplace warm that I
know I'm going to for another episode of Deeper in
the Den with Dangerous daved right here

Medal of Honor: Stories of Courage

Medal of Honor: Stories of Courage

Rewarded for bravery that goes above and beyond the call of duty, the Medal of Honor is the United States’ top military decoration. The stories we tell are about the heroes who have distinguished themselves by acts of heroism and courage that have saved lives. From Judith Resnik, the second woman in space, to Daniel Daly, one of only 19 people to have received the Medal of Honor twice, these are stories about those who have done the improbable and unexpected, who have sacrificed something in the name of something much bigger than themselves. Every Wednesday on Medal of Honor, uncover what their experiences tell us about the nature of sacrifice, why people put their lives in danger for others, and what happens after you’ve become a hero. Special thanks to series creator Dan McGinn, to the Congressional Medal of Honor Society and Adam Plumpton. Medal of Honor begins on May 28.
