Speaker 1 (00:00):
This keeper in the din with dangerous day. Well, Happy
National Grilled Cheese Day, National Grilled Cheese Day tomorrow all right.
In a poll, seventy percent of people said they prefer
their toast level or their grilled cheese to be golden brown.
That's where I like it. Twelve percent like it well
done or even burnt. Maybe you're not that picky, but
kids are. Thirty percent of parents said they've had to

(00:22):
remake a grilled cheese for their child because they weren't
happy with the toast level. As for a sandwich, forty
seven percent of purists who just want bread and cheese,
especially in the Midwest and women men in the Northeast
most likely to experiment with tomatoes or fresh herbs, or
bacon or sauted onions and spinach. American cheese is the
most popular cheese for a grilled cheese, followed by cheddar mozzarella,

(00:44):
and swiss. I like pepper jack and velveta together. Men
more likely to spice it up with a habernarow jack
or pepper jack. Sixty five percent of people said they
spread a little butter on the outside, especially in the Midwest.
That's because it toasts better when you do that young
adults like male on their girled ches cheez. I've tried that.
It really didn't make a lot of a difference to me.
Twenty eight percent spread it on the inside and fourteen

(01:05):
percent will spread it on the outside. So some people, yeah,
like mayo on the outside er miracle whip for their
gold cheese just a little butter. For me, what goes
good with the grilled cheese, well, pretty much everything in
the two. Are you somebody whose phone is always dead?
Are you scanning every room for outlets? Once your phone
dips below fifty percent? According to important new research, the

(01:27):
paddic percentage of average persons starts worrying about their phones
charge thirty eight percent. Of course, how long it takes
to get there depends upon your phone, how much you're
using it, and how you charge it at night. Thirty
four percent of people said they don't get concerned until
their battery life falls below twenty percent or they get
a warning from their device. Thirteen percent claim they're unphased
until it's under ten percent. At the other end of

(01:48):
the spectrum, twenty four percent of Americans start worrying about
their battery life even when it drops to fifty percent.
Not Surprisingly, freaking out over battery life is more common
among young adults than older folks. My wife's the person
that if it's below eighty percent, she's freaking out. She's
got to try to find someplace to plug it in.
The way I look at it is I look at
the percentage of the charge and to look what time

(02:10):
of day it is. So let's say it's fifty percent,
if I've already gone through like seventy five percent of
my day, I'm not going to worry about it. I'll
just charge it and hang it up overnight. Besides, if
my phone died and nobody got a hold of me,
might be a good thing for a while. Tune in
it came for another episode of Deeper in the Den
with Dangerous daved right here.
