This is deeper in the din with dangerous Day. Well,
you made it two percent of the way through twenty
twenty six, good enough, right, Happy Quitter's Day. The day
you're most likely to drop your New Year's resolution. It's
always the second Friday in January, because nobody you know
can make it more than one weekend without pizza and drinking.

(00:20):
The second weekend seems like it's almost impossible. Study in
twenty twenty four pound eighty percent of us start losing
steam by Quitter's Day, So if your resolution is still
going strong, feel free to act high and mighty about it.
A big survey done just before Christmas found the top
resolutions we're exercising more, being happier, healthier, and saving money.

(00:41):
So if you want to follow the trends, just get
zero exercise this weekend and eat a lot of pizza
and tacos on the couch while feeling you're sad for yourself.
And by the way, bonus points if you waste money
on delivery. Deeper in the two A new poll found
that half of Americans are trying to disconnect from the
digital world whenever they can and live more of an
analog lifestyle. Quick reminder radio is analog, so you're welcome America.

(01:07):
Two thousand people were asked to name the top ways
they try to live a more analog life in twenty
twenty six. Top answers include using actual notebooks for notes. Yeah,
apps are great, but paper does still exist. Reading books
E readers are just aren't the same for some people
using a paper calendar have one right in front of me. However,

(01:28):
I do have a calendar on my phone where I
keep all my appointments and all of that stuff. Playing
physical games is another way people are going to go
to analog trends in twenty twenty six using an alarm
clock and most of the time mind doesn't go off,
but it's psychological for me. I have to have it,
and I have to have it. Set writing letters, also
making the list using an old school planner notebook style.

(01:51):
I guess, wearing a watch, not just a smart watch
a dumb watch, analog music, listening to things like record
CDs or the radio, and actual cameras. Phone cameras are
really good now, but the real ones still have their appeal.
But are you going to carry it around your neck
like you used to? Tune in again for another episode
