Please step deeper in the din with dangerous day. Well,
Italy just made history becoming the first country to offer
paid leave for workers to care for their sick pets.
All started with one court case back in twenty seventeen
a librarian in Rome. She fought for time off to
care for a sick dog and one she argued under
Italian in law, letting an animal suffer as a crime,

so forcing somebody else to choose between work and their
pet made an impossible situation. Well not. Workers can take
up to three days a year to care for their pets,
but there are rules. Pet has to be microchipped and
a vet has to confirm this situation is urgent. So
I guess it's not going to work for a lazy goldfish.
Italy has over sixty million pets, so it seems like

taken in the future. Meanwhile, in the US you can't
even get sick days half the time for ourselves. Huh.
I wonder if I could get my vet to diagnose
the hamster with clinical depression deeper in the new survey
found sixty nine percent of Americans are getting a tax
refund this year, refunds feel like found money, but are
they going to improve your finances? Are you going to
use it like a fun reward? In a new poll,

most people claim they're going to use their tax refunds responsibly.
Let's hope that's true. Thirty three percent will drop their
money into a savings account, twenty percent will pay down debt,
seventeen percent will use it for necessities, ten percent will
invest the money in, eight percent will use it for
home improvement. Six percent said they're going to splurge, blow
the money on a shopping spree, maybe a nice set

of headphones, fancy skincare, new TV video games, ear luxurious
night out on the town. Two percent said they're going
to put it towards a major purchase like a car home.
People making less than fifty grand a year most likely
to say they're using their tax refund money on everyday expense,
as households making fifty dollars hundred most likely to pay
down debt, and those making over one hundred k most

likely to invest their refunds. If you're wondering, the average
tax refund thirty five hundred dollars, but really depends upon
your situation, like how much you're withholding, and if you
have any write offs or other tax free benefit, it's
tax refund. I asked the government if I'm getting anything,
and I thought they said I was getting one. And
I said, is that one dollar? Is it a thousand dollars?
