(00:29):
iHeartMedia. We are at Three PointsMusic Festival twenty twenty three in Miami,
and I'm here with the poodle. How is it going? It's going great.
I just got off the ground centralstage. I played a really job
set during the sunset was magical andwelcome to Three Points. First off,
how does it feel being here beingfrom you know, South Florida. Oh,
(00:52):
that's a lot of question. Beingfrom South Florida is wow. Just
such a mix of everything thing likethe chaos with the quiet serene moments as
well, beautiful colors, amazing textures, amazing communities and people from all over
that's South Florida. Yeah, it'sa vibe. Yeah literally, all right,
(01:17):
you did already imagine you just playedthe grand Central stage earlier and that
must have been a you know,a thrill. Yeah, it was really
awesome. It was a great stage. I love the location. It's in
the trees, it's more it feelsmore intimate to me and it has great
sound. There's not a lot ofother stages conflicting with it, so I
recommend going there check it out.Tell me about your epe opinions from my
(01:38):
bedroom? Yeah, so that waswritten literally in my bedroom. I produced
everything from my studio, and itwas I wrote everything during COVID from twenty
twenty to twenty two, and justall these feelings I had about the world,
about myself, about like the relationshipsI was in. Does all of
(02:00):
that just kind of from a journalstandpoint, so very raw, like my
emotions are there. It's literally, you know, if you want to know
about me, like, that's whatyou have to listen to. And that's
very cool. You know. Wasthis made during COVID, you know in
your bedroom? Yeah? Yeah,it was so the whole thing twenty twenty
through twenty twenty two, all ofit in my bedroom. Yeah. And
(02:22):
how how was COVID for you toexperience? How is what COVID? Oh?
Yeah, I mean like it likefor all of us, it really
took us out, really, especiallyas life artists, as people who are
so social where we feed off theenergy of like the night life, being
together. There's no way to produceart without a team or like people around
(02:46):
you, and it really took usall out, but I think it also
had beautiful moments of slowing down andintrospection and rewiring and resetting that was necessary.
I think. Very cool. Youknow, everyone's made through, were
thriving now at least you know wegot events, which is nice to have
again. And tell me about yourrecently released song, Heavyweight Champion. Oh,
(03:08):
yeah, that one. We justreleased a music video. Well,
I just released a music video justme and my multiple personalities, you know,
but just released it a few likea month ago at this point.
I filmed it earlier this year inBerlin when I went and I did a
DJ set at Refuge Worldwide, andthen I also filmed with my friend out
(03:30):
there who's a great filmmaker, LenaWavy Films. Check her out. And
it was it the whole the singlesabout kind of fighting with yourself, your
ego and how that also uh projectsto other people and what they fight you
back with kind of like that playso and it beats you up if you're
(03:55):
not careful. So it's about that. Yeah, okay, okay, And
do you have any new projects you'reworking on? Yeah, I'm working on
two singles and uh also the visualsfor that. And then I'm working on
a more electronic, like more refinedsophomore EP or album and so I'm really
excited. That's a big, bigword album. You know, all these
(04:18):
days people don't be dropping albums,but I think I want that. I
want something that you could sit init more Yeah, textures and instrumentals.
And then but also still on mypop star shit you know, okay,
okay? And are you looking tostay independent? I'm I mean also a
(04:40):
loaded question. I'm I'm open toowning everything you know of myself, and
but I also I would like toI'm not not open to what I guess
opportunities could bring with me if Ifind a partnership or collaboration and what that
(05:01):
could bring for me on the lovelodwant to create as well, because I
need I do need that. Ifi'm you know, I want to go
where I want to actually go inmy head, then yeah, I do
need the support, So I needthe push yep. Already I have two
questions left, name and artists youwant to work with, but haven't yet
any artists I'd want to work with. Oh, definitely, Seth de Lisa
(05:26):
FK, Twigs, James Blake,Eves Tumor is my homie already, so
like I would love to work withthem if they're open to it. And
earth Eater. Yeah, and mylast question I asked every artist this,
no matter what, what does yourartist writer include because this could be every
artist has a different writer. Youknow. I've had people say that they
(05:50):
had a picture of their dog madeand then that's what they wanted, or
they had just different drinks and stufflike that. What do you need?
Do you need a salad? LikeI have people that need a salad ready
like for them, Well, livingin Miami for ten years, of course
I need my tequila soda with limea nice period. But I also would
(06:11):
get tea gender tea for my vocals. I always drink like some good tea
before like camameal sake. I'm sochaa little bit so okay, Yeah,
sushi would be fired. Yeah allright, yeah that's a new one.
Sushi for sure, for sure. All right, Well, I want to
