Speaker 1 (00:00):
Donald Trump thirty minutes ago, says Elon was wearing thin.
I asked him to leave. I took away his EV
mandate that forced everyone to buy electric cars that nobody
else wanted, and he knew for months I was going
to do and he just went crazy. The easiest way
to save money in our budget, billions and billions of dollars,
(00:21):
is to terminate Elon's governmental subsidies and contracts. I was
always surprised that Biden didn't do it. Oh, we have
had a falling out. Ladies and gentlemen. I don't want
to hear none of this stuff that Elon and Trump
are all good, because there's no way they're all good.
The bromance is over. It lasted four months. This is
what I'm telling you as I'm I want to be
(00:45):
very very clear about this. I do not want people
to think that I'm anti anyone, but I just find
it to be a very very interesting situation where Elon
was buddy buddy buddy with this president, and I got
to I don't know, man, they seem to be they
(01:06):
seem to be buddies, And oh my goodness, how fast
did this ended? How fast it ended? That was in
the last half hour. Elon responded immediately, of course, because
he's on X one hundred percent of the time, I
have no idea what's going on. And then so they
took Trump's truth social post, and Elon said, such an
obvious lie. So sad when it comes to the ev
(01:28):
part of this. I mean, they're going back and forth here,
they're going back and forth. This is I mean, I
can't believe this. So I don't know. Elon grabbed a
tweet from Mike Johnson from twenty eighteen. This is when
Mike Johnson was not the Speaker of the House. This
is long before that. This is when he's just a
regular guy who was operating as the representative from his
(01:51):
district in Louisiana. Mike Johnson's name we've probably heard, because
there's a lot of guys named Mike Johnson. We hadn't
heard of this Mike Johnson. Not yet. Mike Johnson twenty eighteen,
he said, at some point Congress has to stop this
endless cycle of out of controlled deficits spending. Elon found
that post, retweeted it and said, I super agree with
this guy. And then he shared something with Senator John
(02:13):
Thune who's now the you know, Senate majority leader. Our
nation is deeply, deeply in debt right now. Next year,
our country will own more than we produce for the
first time since the end of World War Two. That's
a very bad place to be. That's John Thune in
twenty twenty. Elon shared that and said, where's this John
Thune of twenty twenty. He is finding he is digging
up receipts from years and years ago of these same
(02:35):
politicians and the stuff that they said. Ah, and he's
also sharing stuff about the ev stuff that he said
he doesn't need. All that you don't need tax credits.
This is correct, I Donald Trump. Donald Trump says Elon
has gone crazy. He was wearing thin and I asked
him to leave all this stuff about the one hundred
and thirty day mandatory thing because they let it expire.
(02:57):
I said, if they wanted him to stick around, or
he wanted to stick around, the figured a way to
make it work, they would have figured it out. All
this trouble with dose, all this stuff with Elon, what
was it for. What was it for at the end
of the day, what it was achieved by this? Because
now the guy who created the whole thing is on
the Alps with the president. It's been four months, dude,
this is crazy.
Speaker 2 (03:19):
Whoever lasts long around this guy? Which one or Trump?
I'm saying, either either at someone he's married to. Either
it's a it's a it's a business partner, or a politician,
his vice president.
Speaker 1 (03:31):
Nobody lasts long. Literally, we could be talking about Elon
in the same breath here. It's the same thing, right,
it really is.
Speaker 3 (03:37):
There.
Speaker 1 (03:37):
There are two There are two of a kind in
that uh, two alphas. They're two alpha for each other.
I'm an alpha, you know what. I don't get along
well with a lot of other alphas. If you get
me and another alpha in a room for too long.
It's not that we're gonna get mean to each other,
but I'm just not having a great time. I'll be honest.
You want to be in control, not necessarily be in control,
but I like to feel like I'm I am the
(03:58):
big dog in the room. If we're on like a
project like the school project, great example, four person project,
you gotta have a PowerPoint, you have to have like
a five page paper, you have to have you know,
different things as a part of this. I like to
be the one that kind of figures out who should
do what job. I want to be the leader because
I trust myself to know that, hey, I'm not going
(04:20):
to micromanage what you're doing over there, but if I
tell you they like, if we decide you're the PowerPoint guy, like,
just do the PowerPoint, we're good. But I want to
be the one to figure out who's doing the PowerPoint
makes sense. I like to know. I feel like I
have good ideas.
Speaker 4 (04:34):
Now.
Speaker 1 (04:34):
I'm not opposed to working with people, but I don't
like dominant personalities that just want to tell me what
I'm supposed to do. That rubs me the wrong way.
These guys are the exact same way. Now, they're way
more successful than I'm ever going to be in my life.
They have way more money than I'm ever going to
have in my life. They have way more power than
I'm ever going to have in my life. So I
cannot relate to this level of what this conversation is.
But it took four months. And now, I mean, this
(04:57):
is bad, right because everything that was being built with
the dose stuff, everything that was being built with the
waste and the fraud and trying to save government spending
that Elon was trying to create and it was It
was making people mad on both sides. It's like, man,
we're cutting too many things without really knowing what we're cutting. Okay,
(05:17):
look that is a major situation there. That is a
big deal. There was not enough transparency as it was happening.
This is not a company that you can just destroy
the entire infrastructure of very quickly because you know how
you want it to be built. Elon did it with
all of his companies. Twitter was a great example. He
slashed it to be in like ten or twenty percent
(05:38):
of the workforce that Twitter had, and he got his
own people in there and they changed how the game
was going to be played. You can do that with
what was a private company. He bought it for a
price tag that government isn't designed to work that way.
So there was a lot of trouble that was being
undertaken by this government and administration. It rubbed a lot
of people the wrong way. It has definitely put some
(05:58):
sectors into some you know, like meteorology for instance, the
National Weather Service. We don't have the weather balloons. We
need to get accurate forecasts on our weather. So in
the next time at the rago or a big group
of tornadoes come through certain areas. We may not be
fully prepared to get accurate forecasts because we just don't
have the We have been cut enough to where we
can't send our balloons up to help us figure out
(06:19):
what the forecast is going to do. That's been the concern.
That's just one example a lot of different things on
that front. We talked about it a lot in February
and March as this stuff was happening. Now here we
are it's early June. Elon is not even a week
out of his government position. People were saying he's out
because he ran out of daze. Donald Trump just said,
a half hour ago, Elon was wearing thin. I asked
(06:43):
him to leave. I took away his ev mandate that
forced everyone to buy electric cars that nobody else wanted,
and he just went crazy. This is a crazy thing
for Trump to be saying out loud. So he's officially
undermining and he has broken his relationship with what seemed
to be the most important ally he had, at least
(07:06):
it appeared going into this presidency. You know, all due
respect to JD. Vans, Marco Rubio, all of the different
people in politics. Elon Musk is absolutely a person who
is a He kind of is over the government in
a lot of ways in terms of the impact that
he could have for you. And with that being said,
(07:27):
I wonder what the next step is here, because Elon
just posted on his social media is it time to
create a new political party in America that actually represents
the eighty percent in the middle? Eighty three percent of
people so far of the six hundred thousand plus votes
say yes. Now, of course they do, and they're on
Elon's social media. Five minutes ago, five minutes ago, Elon
(07:50):
just said this, are you ready for this? Five minutes ago?
Time to drop the really big bomb. Donald Trump is
in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they
have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT.
This is happening on social media as we speak. We
(08:14):
got he'll open the phones. We got to talk about this.
You thought this bromance was like all good. You think
it was Gucci when he left the White House last
week and they said, hey, he's going to be real close.
We're not even a week later, and this is happening.
Trump is saying Elon was wearing thin. He's gone crazy.
A week later, Elon says Trump's in the Epstein files.
(08:34):
That's why we don't know about them. Yikes, boy, that
escalated quickly. Excellent use of Anchorman two eighteen call us.
If you have thoughts four oh two five five eight
eleven ten. Four oh two five five eight eleven ten,
you can leave me a talk back on the free
iHeartRadio app. Email me Emory at kfab dot com. Some
(08:55):
big stuff developing in the last half hour here on
news Radio eleven ten Kfab Emery Sunger on news Radio
eleven ten Kfab Trump on truth Social if you just
missed it, saying Elon was wearing thin so I asked
him to leave. I took away his ev mandate everyone
was going to buy some step forced people to buy
(09:16):
electric cars that no one wanted, and he went crazy.
He said that Elon has followed up with some different posts,
but also said time to drop the really big bomb.
Donald Trump is in the Epstein files and that's why
we they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT.
And then he's just followed that up with mark this
post for the future, the truth will come out. Wow.
(09:38):
All right, Well, I want to hear from you Elon
and Trump. Not a week after Elon left and people
were saying, Oh, this is no big deal. His time expired,
he had to leave by law. I don't think that
was all that was going on there. Steve's on the
phone line four two, five, five, eight eleven ten to
talk with us today. Steve, you're on eleven ten.
Speaker 4 (09:57):
Kfab Hey, I think of it way. I mean, you
just follow me on this, Okay. Elon Musk was getting
death threads. They were bombing his you know, all the
car lots, bombing Desla's doing all that crazy stuff. I
think they're doing this on purpose so Elon can go
and live his life. Yeah, I think it's all set up.
Speaker 1 (10:19):
Yeah, I mean I don't disagree with that. He needs
to get himself away from this administration if he wants
his business to kind of boom again. But bringing up
Donald Trump being in the Epstein file seems like a
couple of steps further than a setup.
Speaker 5 (10:31):
I wouldn't put it past him for nothing. They're going
to do whatever it takes so Elon can.
Speaker 4 (10:36):
Go live his billionaire life and not have to look
over his shoulder ever again.
Speaker 1 (10:41):
Interesting, Well, Steve, I guess we'll find out Uh, yeah,
I suppose things have escalated quite a bit the last
hour from where it was. For it's this pretty new stuff.
I appreciate the call, buddy, thanks for listening.
Speaker 4 (10:54):
I appreciate your guys show. I have a good one.
Speaker 1 (10:55):
Yeah you too. Yeah. Now see, I don't disagree with
where his brain's at. Let's be honest here, Elon. I
mean his business suffered when he got involved in politics.
That's what I said last week when he was getting outs, Like,
do you think Elon, if he could go back in
time twelve months, would tell himself, maybe not get too
involved here, maybe not try to, you know, line up
with Donald Trump, you know, carrying the chainsaw around, doing
(11:18):
all that stuff, because it definitely hurt his business, the
business side of all of his you know, legacy, and
he's trying to like get that back up and run in.
He was supposed to be, as far as we knew
with Doge, the entire time. Doge was supposed to be
a thing into next year. He leaves after just four months.
Everybody's saying, well, technically, special government employee at the federal level,
(11:42):
you got to leave your jobs terminated by law after
one hundred and thirty days. Okay, but you don't think
they could have come up with a different way. I mean,
they created an entire government efficiency like department. Now it's
not codified, but it's like it's there. You don't think
they could have come up with a way to keep
Elon in the mix. He leaves people are kind of confused. Oh, well,
he left on his own. He wanted to go run
(12:02):
his businesses. They're on good terms. Oh, you know, the government.
He just couldn't get his job renewed. And then Trump
says today Elon was wearing thin. I asked him to leave.
And then Elon today among other things, saying this is
such an obvious lie. But then he says, Donald Trump
is in the Epstein files. That's I mean, we have
(12:23):
taken a few steps further than just these guys disagreeing
about the big beautiful bill. Stan, the man is on
our phone line four oh two, five, five, eight to
eleven ten, Stan, what's on your mind?
Speaker 5 (12:34):
Well? What did we expect that? These two characters, and
then you got Biden and Kamala. This is why I
wrote in Mickey Haley, because I try and always vote
content of character first. So I've been writing them people
now for quite a number of years, I just can't
stand the two major parties people that they put up.
I just can't stand it.
Speaker 1 (12:54):
Yeah, well, I gotta be honest with you, Stan, this
could be kind of the straw that breaks the camel's
back if an enough people are starting to run from
the two major political parties to find some common ground.
I mean, these are the kind of personalities that could
get people there. I'm just saying that, right Amen, Hey,
thanks for the call. Stand really appreciate you listening. Yeah,
(13:18):
I mean, what do you think?
Speaker 4 (13:19):
I mean?
Speaker 1 (13:20):
Is Elon the kind of guy that could kind of
kick up a new political movement? Remember, he can't be
the president by law of the constitution, he was born
in South Africa's he cannot run for president. But is
he the kind of guy that could help back or
form with his money, his resources, his platform, find a
way to kind of win back some of the political left.
(13:42):
Because obviously, when he attached himself to Trump the way
that he did, I mean, they were destroying his electric vehicles,
which was one of the most ironic things that it
has ever happened in American history. But if he could
find a candidate kind of a lightning rod candidate that
could actually make some noise. By the time we get
to twenty eight, he's got to.
Speaker 2 (14:00):
When he has a lot of what you might consider
the raw materials to make it happen. So he is
very visible. I would say the vast majority of Americans
know that name.
Speaker 1 (14:10):
Across several different sectors and industries.
Speaker 2 (14:13):
He is very successful. Has is one of the richest
people on the planet. I think he's number one right now,
is he really?
Speaker 1 (14:22):
Yeah, So.
Speaker 2 (14:24):
You want to talk about the raw materials to make
this happen.
Speaker 1 (14:28):
Absolutely, he's got also now with his campaign experience, being
on the campaign with Trump last year and then being
at least White House adjacent he was there. I mean,
we talk about I don't know how serious he took,
all the jobs. He's you know, wearing two hats, he's
wearing T shirts, he's got his kid, you know, on
his shoulders while he's in the Oval office. A lot
(14:49):
of weird stuff is going on. But over the time
span of January twentieth to June fifth, not a lot
of time, like four and a half months, that entire
relationship is completely dissolved. I mean, is it is rough now,
But he's got some experience being close by to help
whomever he needs to help get there. So obviously you
(15:11):
need a strong independent person to be that candidate. Why
not the brand new independent herself, Karine John Pierre. Come on,
she's got nothing to do, Karree John Pierre, twenty twenty eight.
Speaker 2 (15:22):
I would be interested to see how closely their ideology aligns.
I would think that there's gonna be quite a bit
of differences there. I think that I was joking by
the way, nobody thinks he's being serious.
Speaker 1 (15:33):
Okay, well I don't know, but who would be right?
Speaker 5 (15:38):
Like?
Speaker 1 (15:38):
Who would be I don't know. It's interesting, you know,
it depends, you know, like I'll go through here, maybe
like an Andrew Yang type, you know, maybe maybe somebody
who's just kind of on the periphery of like the
main scene here.
Speaker 2 (15:49):
He makes a lot of sense for a lot of
reasons too. Elon's a tech guy. And Andrew Yang was
really the guy who I think was a little bit
before his time in a way now people can say
what they want to say about universal basic income. I
have my doubts about that too. But as far as
like the way he viewed how technology is changing our
lives and how we need to get ahead of that.
(16:10):
I think that's a really savvy thought there, that he
or someone of his ilk could be someone that could
end up, you know, receiving backing in an endorsement, and
it just makes you wonder, Yeah, maybe he's the kind
of guy though, he's the kind of guy that didn't
really have a shot with the main parties, So like
maybe this new party you would need.
Speaker 1 (16:31):
It's not a one person thing either. You have to
have a movement that's you know, covering a lot of
ground with a lot of different people. So I don't know,
we'll talk about it. Call us four h two five
five eight to eleven ten. Four to oh two five
five eight to eleven ten. The dissolution of Donald Trump
and Elon Musk's relationship on many levels on display on
social media today on news Radio eleven ten, kfab Emery's
(16:51):
songer the weekend being right around the corner gives me
a little extra juice already, a little more pep in
my step, if you know, I have I have a
couple of things here first and foremost, a lot of
people emailing in about the Celon thing. I will try
to get to as many embills as I can. This
is a live story. Okay, this is something that has
actually happened within the last hour. I'm doing the best
(17:14):
that I can an hour ago or so, and we
will talk about the Jiji in ping phone call. We
will talk about the travel band to certain countries. But
I felt like this kind of like jumped up on
me and needed to be like the first thing we
talked about Donald Trump. If you're just tuning in an
hour ago on his truth social do we have to
(17:35):
give the full background because Elon has just been going
to war on social media about this big beautiful bill
and how this is increasing government spending and it's undermining
everything that has been going on with the efforts of DOGE,
and those were controversial efforts by the way. Also, it
almost makes you think that Donald Trump, more than anything,
wanted Elon's influence for the election itself. Because Elon before
(17:58):
he got into politics, I know that there were people
that aren't fans of him, but I think he was
pretty universally respected for his businesses and what he was
attempting to do with most of everything that he had
going on with Starlink, with his ingenuity as far as
SpaceX goes, the way that you know, he kind of revolutionized,
(18:19):
for better or worse, social media by kind of uncensoring
and restricting a lot of people having the ability to
say things and not get shadow banned or banned outright
from being able to say what they want, regardless of
what they're saying, all sorts of stuff like that. Right,
But four and a half months in Elon leaves. The
reasoning we get is that well, his time had come up.
(18:41):
His time was up. He was had hit one hundred
and thirty days, and he left on good terms, and
he was going to be around the White House. This
was on Friday, by the way, this past Friday. This
was not that long ago. And what ends up happening
after that is this week. It's been a war of
words about this spending bill. Now we can also go
into DOJ and whether or not that was good for
(19:02):
Donald Trump or not. He was saying that, you know,
does is going to try to save a bunch of money.
It saved a few billion dollars, at least as far
as we know. Elon said he thought that when it
was fully up and running, it would save two trillion
dollars in the government's money. That's not nothing. That's a
lot of money. I'm I think most of us would
like that, as long as it didn't compromise the infrastructure
of our government in a way that we no longer
(19:23):
could be a successful government. But then Donald Trump responds
by essentially saying, I want to push through what I
think is the most important piece of legislation in the
history of the United States. Again quite a hyperbolic statement,
but he thinks this particular bill, this big, beautiful bill
that he keeps talking about, is that important to him,
(19:43):
like a legacy builder for him, and it does have
a lot of government spending in it. And Elon Musk
from now away from the White House this past week
has just been going nuts on this thing, saying that
this is an atrocity. He has been sharing on his
social media videos in and notes in tweets of these
(20:04):
politicians that are allegedly pushing this through on Team Trump,
but them saying things that somewhat contradict what this bill
stands for. Trump apparently had enough today. Now he had
a phone call, very important phone call with the Chinese president.
We will get to that, but the thing that's still
in the headlines is an hour ago on truth social
(20:25):
Donald Trump said Elon was wearing thin. I asked him
to leave. What does that mean to you? Am I
misreading this at all the fact that when somebody's wearing thin,
it's like I need to get this guy away from me.
That's how I read that. And when he says I
asked him to leave, I don't think he's mentioning anything
other than like I literally asked him to get away
from me. I'm the president. Go away. They dressed it
(20:46):
up as like he's done his job, he wants to
get back into business, all that good stuff. Oh you know,
his one hundred and thirty day contract was up or
whatever he's making it sound. Trump is making it sound
I asked him to leave. I don't think that you
need to interpret it any further than that. Am I
wrong here? No?
Speaker 2 (21:02):
But I still think there's a way where a lot
of these things so far the people have said are
still true. Right, So maybe this, you know, everyone's saying,
oh yeah, it was just one hundred and thirty days,
and this is how it was supposed to happen, and
it's all good. Everything happened that was supposed to happen.
Speaker 1 (21:17):
Well, maybe the falling out happened a couple of weeks ago.
Speaker 2 (21:19):
Yeah, I mean maybe this was a classic sort of
like you can't fire me, I quit situation, right, Honestly,
Like when I heard the back and forth, that's the
first thing I thought of. This sounds like a or
maybe maybe vice versa. Right, Elon wanted to give it
I fire you kind of thing, one of the you know,
but you know what I'm saying, Like Elon wanted to
get out, and then Trump is now making it sound
like he told him to get out. And before Elon left,
(21:40):
Trump said wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, you find it.
Speaker 1 (21:45):
Donald Trump says, Elon was wearing thin. I asked him
to leave. I took away his EV mandate that forced
everyone to buy electric cars that nobody else wanted, that
he knew for months I was going to do, and
he just went crazy. Now see this, this is crazy, right,
because remember when the Tesla's stock was tanking in March,
(22:05):
Trump had like three Teslas brought to the White House
and he did like a commercial for Tesla in front
of the White House to help Elon out with the
electric Oh this is really nice. Obviously that was a sham.
Trump followed that up and said the easiest way to
save money in our budget, billions of billions of dollars,
is to terminate Elon's governmental subsidies and contracts. I was
(22:27):
always surprised that Biden didn't do it. Elon grabbed that
first tweet or first truth social posts and said, that's
such an obvious live in regards to the electric car subsidies.
So sad, And according to another person that said, if
the subsidies for Elon were pulled, this would end the
International Space Station and simultaneously provide no way safely to
(22:50):
de orbited. Now see Trump, this is a blustery thing
from Trump. I don't anticipate him doing that. But then Elon,
while I was on the air half hour ago, posted
time to drop the really big bomb. Donald Trump is
in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they
have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT.
(23:12):
I'm still I still can't believe that that's something that
he actually put out there. And so we got a
lot of people chiming in on talkback. You can hit
me up on talkback, and the talkback is on the
free iHeartRadio. Up you listen to us on eleven tin kfab.
You have a microphone button. You can hit the microphone
button leave up to thirty seconds of audio about this.
John has a take on this falling out between Trump
(23:36):
and Mosque. Does this mean we can start liking Tesla's again?
I don't know. Maybe let me uh, we're not closed
yet on the markets? Are we that it would happen
at three pm? So we got thirteen more minutes. What
do you think Tesla's done today?
Speaker 4 (23:52):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (23:52):
Interesting, m it'd be interesting to see the hour by
hour because we're talking the laud I got the hour.
Speaker 1 (23:58):
I got it, Oh, I got it. Okay, first of all,
in the last month, actually up one point six percent
the last five days since Elon has left to I
mean and allegedly he left to help out his business.
You know what, I don't have time to do this
right now. I'm gonna do this when we come back.
I'll tell you Tesla love for the last five days.
I'll tell you Tesla today and what's going on while
(24:21):
all of this is happening, very very interesting. We will
talk more here on news radio eleven to ten kfab.
Emrie Sunger on news Radio eleven ten kfab. They are
at each other's throats in a very entertaining way for
us Tesla five days ago. This is right after Elon
(24:42):
got out of his position. Tesla is down almost twenty
percent the last five days. Today not a good day
for Tesla, down fifteen percent, and it has been going
down and down and down. Basically when that first Donald
Trump post was made, just after it was at two
hundred and ninety seven, it's down to two eighty two.
(25:05):
It did ricochet up just a little bit, it dropped
all the way down to two seventy five. So it
has not been a good day for Tesla's not been
a good day for Elon. So this thing escalating can't
be good for that, or maybe it would be great
for it. I don't know. Brian's on a phone line
for two five, five, eight to eleven ten, Hey Brian,
what's going on?
Speaker 6 (25:23):
Good afternoon, Emory. Well, I wanted to ask, have you
ever heard of the technocracy movement?
Speaker 5 (25:29):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (25:29):
It rings a bell? Yeah, remind me, I enlighten me please, Okay.
Speaker 6 (25:33):
It's a movement from the twenties and thirties that believed
we should have a government controlled by an alito tech experts.
And Elon's grandfather was big in the Technocracy movement. They
had chapters all over Canada and North America. They wanted
to build the tech Mate, which would have meant having
(25:56):
won political unity from Alaska to Greenland and down to
the northern part of South America. And as recently as
twenty nineteen, Elon tweeted accelerating starship development to build the
Martian Technocracy. I believe in technocracy. So it probably because
(26:16):
look up technocracy and Elon Musk and there are a
lot of articles about that.
Speaker 1 (26:20):
The interesting Brian, I I'll do that. Thank you for
telling us all about appreciate it. Sure, yeah, okay, we're
a couple of steps away from that, I think. But
you know, we're getting quite personal when you get brought
up into the Epstein files and then called out by
how many people you think following Elon on social media?
It's two hundred and twenty million. There are three hundred
(26:42):
and thirty million people in this country, so I mean, like,
obviously it's a worldwide website, but we're talking about a
gigantic amount of people that are exposed to what Elon
says on his social media and he quite literally just
said Donald Trump is in the Epstein files and that's
why we don't know about the Epstein files and why
they have been made public. This was a week ago.
(27:02):
These guys were like bros. At least they made it
seem that way. Now I have a lot of people
in the email that this is this is all kind
of a joke. It's a ruse. It's to make Elon
seem more in the middle. I don't think this is
You wouldn't bring up Epstein's this was joking. That's some
serious stuff right there. Let's see here, there's a couple.
Olie says, they probably are having fun with each other
(27:24):
and somewhat planned. They'll see how the media will spin
or take it. Elon's companies will go up and value
people's investments, country starts booming, et cetera. I mean, I'd
believe you only except none of that is happening today.
In fact, I'm watching conservative news television. They're not even
touching this with a ten foot poll. They're not even
talking about it. They're saying it's heating up, but they're
not talking about how they're mentioning this stuff to each other.
(27:48):
When you get to the Epstein files, I think we're
crossing a different line there. And Tesla being down almost
fifteen percent today and being down twenty percent on the
week that I mean, that's just one example of this
not being necessarily super great. I wonder on a variety
of levels here, and this is you know, we've gotten
(28:09):
so used to thinking that Donald Trump just knows what
he's doing all the time. And I hate saying it
this way because I know this is going to ruffle
a lot of feathers. But Donald Trump doesn't always know
what he's doing, and Elon, I think, was trying to
fill some of those gaps, and Elon doesn't know what
he's doing, especially when it comes to government. So you
(28:31):
have two guys who think they know what they're doing
all the time clashing on some things. And now it's
finally coming to a head now that Elon's no longer
directly involved with the government, and I can't imagine these
two guys are just be okay slandering each other like this,
especially with Elon bringing up the Epstein files and Trump
calling him crazy, Like I don't think this is a
(28:53):
wink wink kind of thing. I think this is literally
like I wish this guy would shut up about this
and stay out of my way. I don't know. We'll
see if you want to call us and talk to
us about it. You got another half hour we can
spend on this. Four H two five five eight to
eleven ten. Four roh two five five eight to eleven
ten And Morol where that came from? On your Thursday
on news radio eleven ten KFAB. You're listening to Emery
(29:16):
Songer on news radio eleven ten kfab. Can't afford? Have
you seen that cyber truck? There are people driving that
around town?
Speaker 3 (29:25):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (29:25):
You know what, can I confess something really briefly?
Speaker 2 (29:28):
Yeah, when that cyber truck came out and I saw
it and it was up on that stage, and the
whole meme was he threw a cannonball through the window
and it busted the window and it looked kind of dumb.
But I saw the truck. That was the first time
I saw the truck, and I was like, man, that
thing looks straight out of Mad Max. Yeah, that's kind
of cool.
Speaker 1 (29:43):
It's kind of up.
Speaker 2 (29:44):
There on the stage with all the lights and thinking
about how sci fi it looks. And I'm a nerd
who likes sci fi, but I'm not gonna lie man,
seeing those things out in the wild. No offense if
you drive one, it's just no offense. The dumpster on wheels,
that's what it looks like. I'm sorry it does. It's
so out of place. Guess the price. The cheapest price
for the long range Tesla cyber truck.
Speaker 1 (30:06):
Ooh, long range? How long is the range on that?
By the way, I have no idea, that's just what
they're calling it.
Speaker 2 (30:11):
Okay, I'd be curious because I know that that can
fluctuate based on weather and how it's stored. I'll say,
are we talking six, I'll say upper fives?
Speaker 1 (30:22):
Seventy two thousand, seventy two thousand. Are you kidding me?
You nailed it?
Speaker 2 (30:26):
Look at my screen. I am not looking anything up.
Look these are audio waves. Okay, and you nailed it.
Yeah wow, Yeah.
Speaker 1 (30:32):
For the people at home, I did not cheat. Seventy
two thousands, nailed it. The all wheel drive cyber truck
is eighty two thousand, and the cyber Beast, which is
the all tricked out version one hundred and two thousand.
So the Beast, cyber Beast, Cyberbeast. Yeah, So there you go.
Knock yourself out. Phone lines are open Elon and trump
(30:54):
On each other's back today. Who you like to see it?
You get the popcorn, Get the popcorn red. But woo
wee elon bringing up Epstein and says Trump's in the
Epstein files. That's the reason they haven't been made public.
We have gotten personal now. Beth is on our phone
line for two, five, five, eight eleven ten. Bets, welcome
to our show today. What are it's on your mind?
Speaker 3 (31:13):
Well, I just think it's really funny, and it is
funny today in a way, but it's also sad because
it shows. At first, when I was reading about some
of this discourse, I thought what some schallers thought that
maybe it was and I've done that, and then I
really thought about their personalities. And one thing that they
(31:34):
both have in common is they're they're both individuals that
seem to be able to bounce back, you know, from
from adversity. So, but I don't think that Trump is
probably the type of person that, you know, if you're
not really kind of yes man, you know, he's going
to be like in charge, like the alpha type, and
(31:56):
you got to go along. And I think that's just
who he is. And I think that you know, Musk
is very just creative and that, and and I hope
that and I think that they I think must did
help Trump benefit that his situation. I think that the
comment that he made about him were wearing down. Anybody
(32:20):
would be worn down if you're watching your company and
your cars and your dealership have issues. So I had
a lot of empathy for him in that situation because
she took on and so I look at it as
a lot deeper than that. And I think that the voters,
you know, see these personalities. I think though, Elon should
(32:42):
do what Elon wants to do, and if he wants
to go out there and start an independent party, because
as I have said many times when I've called that
the Republican the Democratic parties are not really benefiting us
out here in the thirty six trillions has a big
impact in all the problems that we have, and they
(33:05):
wanted to skirt it all under the rug. Now I'm
not taken the side. I'm just saying that Elon has got,
you know, more information now and I'm not a perfect person,
and nobody is a perfect person. And Trumps also brought
about change in the way that he's able to show
(33:26):
how our government responds to things that they don't like
because we see our government in a way like when
Trump came in, they treated they are kind of like
the yes man. They're saying, Oh, we don't want you
to come in and change you know, our Senate Congress
rivers president. So they tried to kind of push Trump away.
(33:47):
So it's kind of similar behavior. But I would have
stayed to President Trump that he to learn from some
of the behaviors that we all have.
Speaker 1 (33:58):
Yeah, I'm with you about I got some stuff I
gotta get to here. But I appreciate the call. Thank
you so much for being on the show. Yeah, I
think she's on it right there. I don't think Trump
is going to learn anything. I mean, can we just
call a space aspait At some point, I think people
are noticing, especially in this moment, Donald Trump doesn't have
the kind of control over everybody and everything that people
(34:21):
assumed that he did. We got so washed with the
Biden administration and just how many cronies seem to be
just doing all of the work, and we didn't feel
like we had been represented at all by that administration
on a variety of levels. We were so excited about
what the future could be with this administration and we're
(34:41):
four and a half months in and there's a lot
of adversity that's happening right now. I don't think any
of this is good for Trump. So if you think
like they're joking, this is not. This is not joking
language at all. I understand that we're trying to talk
ourselves in the idea that they have this under control
and everybody know that they're in on it. That's not
happening here. This is not I mean he Elon said
(35:02):
he's in the Epstein files, that Trump's in the Epstein files.
The last five minutes, he he's been on a I
don't know how he does this. He's on Twitter all
the time. He found Donald Trump in March saying, Elon
has never asked me for a thing. I mean, I
got rid of the ev mandate, but he's never asked
me for anything. That's an amazing attribute. Elon is a patriot.
(35:23):
We want to thank you very much for the job
you're doing. That's what he said in the White House.
Elon found that retweeted it five minutes ago, and it's
the emoji of the guy with the raised eyebrow. This
is this is not a joke. Elon two minutes ago,
grabbed Donald Trump's true social post from you know an
(35:45):
hour or two ago and said, the easiest way to
save money in our budget, billions of billions of dollars,
is to terminate Elon's governmental subsidies and contracts. I was
always surprised that Biden didn't do it. Elon took that
and says, in light of the President's statement about cancelation
of my government contracts, SpaceX will begin decommissioning it's Dragon
spacecraft immediately. So now Elon is saying, now, I don't
(36:05):
think he's serious about this, but Elon is saying, never mind,
I'm out. I'm out.
Speaker 4 (36:10):
We gone.
Speaker 1 (36:11):
No more SpaceX Dragon, no more people getting to go
to space forget it. We're done. We're decommissioning it. We
don't have any more money. If you're if you're terminating
my governmental subsidies and contracts, that's fine man. Donald Trump's
willing to go to legitimate war. And Donald Trump is
now speaking at a police roundtable event. If anything Elon
(36:33):
related comes out of this, I will certainly share with
you on that. But there's no way you can tell,
like you can see all this stuff. They're not joking here, no,
but it's not surprising either. These guys are too alike.
And Beth said that too. It's just like Trump doesn't
like to be challenged. He really doesn't. Anybody that challenges him,
(36:53):
you get on his bad side very quickly. You can
talk about how much you like his effectiveness on certain things.
You can talk about how much you like him being
the president of the United States and how you feel
it makes America strong. But there are factors that are
kind of popping up here. He doesn't have putin under
control like everybody thought. He isn't getting any closer to
getting that war under wraps. He has burned the Elon
(37:17):
musk Bridge to the point where Elon says that Trump's
in the Epstein files. So that tells you anybody who's
friendly with each other wouldn't be saying that. That deteriorated
very quickly. And I suppose you know, an Elon a
couple hours ago posted is it time to create a
new political party in America that actually represents the eighty
percent in the middle. Now, I'm going to push back
a little bit on that. I don't think it's like
(37:40):
maybe radical left and right is ten percent on each
side or so I think the middle is probably closer
to forty to fifty percent, not the eighty percent that
he's suggesting. And you say eighty percent in the middle,
it's like everybody hates the politicians. I don't think we're
there fifty percent. I yeah, maybe, I wouldn't.
Speaker 2 (37:59):
Be surprised if you could find eighty percent of the
people who are just genuinely sick and tired of the
very loud ten percent on the left and the right
in this country right now. That's just my two cents.
I'm certainly in that eighty percent. Well, I will tell
you this.
Speaker 1 (38:14):
Elon just posted or retweeted somebody sharing a bit about
Trump and Epstein in a two thousand and two New
York magazine profile. There was a little blip about Donald
Trump and Epstein, and Elon has just shared that onto
his social media. I'll read it to you, because that's
we're here. We're here doing it, real life gossip, Trump
versus Elon in real time. Haymaker's being thrown, folks. I'll
(38:37):
tell you about it next on news radio eleven ten
kfab and Raise Songer. All right, Matt and everybody listening.
There is a after Elon said this said.
Speaker 4 (38:46):
The elon.
Speaker 1 (38:49):
Said that Donald the big bomb is Donald Trump is
in the Epstein files. That's the reason they haven't been
made public. We've gotten personal. An account which is followed
by two hundred thousand people, goes by ag Hamilton. He
says the relationship between Trump and Epstein is well established.
Trump flew on Epstein's plane at least seven times, though
it's not clear he ever went to the island. Here's
(39:11):
what Trump said about Epstein in a two thousand and
two New York magazine profile. And here is the snippet
of the article. This is from O two. This is
before things got too weird, right. Epstein likes to tell
people that he's a loner, a man who's never touched
alcohol or drugs, and one whose nightlife is far from energetic.
And yet if you talk to Donald Trump, a different
(39:33):
Epstein emerges. I've known jeff for fifteen years. Terrific guy,
Trump booms from a speakerphone. He's a lot of fun
to be with. It has even said that he likes
beautiful women as much as I do, and many of
them are on the younger side. No doubt about it.
Jeffrey enjoys his social life end quote. Now, this snippet
is from an unnamed magazine, a New York magazine profile
(39:54):
in two thousand and two. I don't have the source
right in front of me, and i'd I don't know.
There's a lot of stuff going on here, but Elon
just grabbed that snippet and shared it with the eyebrow
raizy profile or emoji. Again. You still anybody out there
still think they're joking around? Anybody? Wait? No, there's no way. Yeah,
(40:15):
there's no way. If this is what dudes are doing
joking around, I don't like this America. Fifteen minutes ago,
Donald Trump has officially made a response on his truth Social.
Of course, as I mentioned, he's in an event with police,
but his truth Social just said this. I don't mind
Elon turning against me, but he should have done so
months ago. This is one of the greatest bills ever
(40:36):
presented to Congress. It's a record cut in expenses one
point six trillion dollars and the biggest tax cut ever given.
If this bill doesn't pass, there will be a sixty
eight percent tax increase and things far worse than that.
I didn't create this mess. I'm just here to fix it.
This puts our country on a path of greatness, make
(40:58):
America great again. Now, of course, then that's within the
last fifteen minutes. A lot of people out there on
social media are saying, I'm I'm not one hundred percent
sure about this. I don't know about so much of
(41:18):
what you know, somebody like Elon and what Donald Trump
are thinking about when it comes to this bill. Why
they're so divided. I don't know what sixty eight percent
tax increase means. It certainly doesn't mean tax like tax increases,
like I'm gonna get tax sixty eight more percent. I
don't find that to be very realistic. Also, the government, like,
if we're gonna do a ton of these tax cuts
(41:39):
and we're cutting like certain governmental benefits, a lot of
people are like, okay, so you want the increase spending
in certain factors, but now we're gonna have less money
coming into the government to pay for them. And then
after that, right like, we're just gonna be in deeper debt.
So how are we going to address that? And that
doesn't seem to be something that has been talked about
too much. A lot of people are like, we're talking
(42:01):
in generality to the point where people have no idea
what's in this? Remember pop quiz how many pages in
the bill? Remember it? Over one thousand, one thy one
and sixteen Man eleven hundred and sixteen. That's like four
kareine John Pierre books. That's like four of them smashed together.
That's how long this this this bill is. There's so
much in it that people don't know whether they should
like it or hate it. Elon's saying you should hate it.
(42:23):
Trump says you should love it. It's an important piece
of legislation. You know what it could be both. I
don't know. There's so much in it. They're trying to
make everybody happy. But Trump says the stuff in it
is important. So now we've gotten so personal between Elon
and Donald Trump that it's spilled into I had a
text or an email come in from Connie and she said,
these are two grown men acting like junior high girls.
(42:46):
And this is going to have ramifications on down the road.
And if they don't stop this, myself and I'm sure
a lot of others will leave this so called party.
I hate it, hate it, and MAGGA will stand for
make America grown again. We will not have any salvation
for this public if they continue this nonsense. So I'm
here for people who said, I think Donald Trump is
going to be a good president for the United States,
(43:07):
but I also think we have to get a little
bit more realistic about some of this stuff. It's wild
to me that people just think that these guys are infallible.
We're looking at two of them at each other's throats
right now, and Trump is trying to get it back
to the bill, not even mentioning the whole Epstein shout out.
But I'm sure he's going to be asked about it.
(43:27):
I tell you what, it is, some crazy, crazy stuff.
I can't believe. The talkback's available. If you'd like to
chime in that way, go to the free iHeartRadio app.
Listen to elevnton kfab on the app. As you're listening,
there's a red microphone button. Hit it. You can lead
me up to what thirty seconds of good audio Jake
left me a talk back here is what do you
(43:48):
have to say about this?
Speaker 5 (43:50):
Hey, Amory, this is tractor slash Sylon Jigs.
Speaker 1 (43:53):
I think the Epstein comment by much.
Speaker 4 (43:55):
It's just the beginning and whatever comes next with Trump,
it'll be off.
Speaker 1 (44:00):
Yeah, these are not the kind of guys that I
think are going to This is like the same thing
with Putin. This is the exact same thing. I'm not
going to quit until there's a way I can say
face on this. And these two guys have drawn a
line in the sand and they are absolutely not going
to back down unless there's a good reason to back down.
But holy moly, things got real ugly this afternoon between
(44:21):
Elon and Donald Trump, and it's playing out on social
media of all places. EMI's songer, this Epstein thing is
still going crazy, and you might be saying, Epstein thing,
what the Heck's going on? Well, if you just tuned
in the last half hour, you haven't heard Elon Musk
in the middle of an online spat like the Big
Beautiful Bill debate has now gone online. Trump says, yes,
(44:43):
Elon the leave said some things about Elon on a
truth social and Elon, while I was on the earlier
in the show, said time to drop the really big bomb.
Donald Trump is in the Epstein files. That is the
real reason they have not been made public. Have a
nice day, DJT. Well, he just shared another video of
a video from Palm Beach, Florida in nineteen ninety two
(45:06):
with Trump hanging out and partying with Epstein. So yeah,
Elon's not stopping on this at all. We got a
talk back from Tim. Tim has something on his mind
on the talkback which you can get to Levinton KFAB
Live on the iHeartRadio app. Hit the microphone button and
(45:26):
you can listen and hear the or not listener. Here.
You can talk, I can listen to you. You can
leave up to thirty seconds for audio. Here's what Tim
had to say.
Speaker 2 (45:36):
Hey, Marie, this is Tim out of Bellevue, Nebraska.
Speaker 4 (45:41):
If Elon had this information about Trump, don't you think
Biden and his team would have had the same information
and used it.
Speaker 1 (45:51):
They threw everything else at Trump.
Speaker 2 (45:52):
So kind of curious about where this information was during
the last administration.
Speaker 3 (45:57):
Thanks.
Speaker 1 (45:58):
Easiest to answer, Tim, is what if Biden's name was
on that? What if any of the other high ranking
Democratic people were on that. I mean, we expect the
Clintons to be on there, right. I mean, one thing
we know about the Democrats that basically are placed in
the positions they are, which they have been. Hillary Clinton
was placed as the nominee in twenty sixteen. Biden placed
(46:21):
as the nominee in twenty twenty Obama. I think Rightley
Farren Square won the two thousand and eight primary. But
the Clintons have been in good favor with the DNC.
You think that they would let Joe Biden try to
damage Donald Trump's reputation by saying, here's the Epstein files. Look,
he's on there, and then you look a little down
(46:42):
further on the list and there's the Clintons. Maybe the
Biden's probably not a great idea to open that can
of worms and accidentally implicate yourself would be kind of
my read on that. But yeah, why Elon would decide
that this is something that he would want to do.
Elon would be like, hey, you know what, Donald Trump's
(47:04):
on the Ebstein files. Okay, there's an interesting leap to
make after we were just arguing about the logistics of
the big Beautiful bill. But we've gotten personal, ladies and gentlemen.
Donald Trump spoke with Jijuin Ping of China today. We
need to talk about that. There's also a travel band
of twelve countries people that cannot come to our country
(47:26):
for different reasons. We'll let you know about that. What
a day, What a day, Happy Thursday, thanks for listening.
Emery Songer with you News Radio eleven ten KFAB
