Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's a good day out. It's a nice day surrounded
by what could be some that's a great wet days,
smoky days, hazy days, smoky more smoke coming. No, it's
gone now. But you just never know, right, You just
never know what might happen. Be a volcano underneath of
us right now? So you have volcano in Italy? Uh,
what Mount Vesuvius. It's a different one. I think it's
(00:23):
probably on the same like fault line that creates those things.
But yeah, just boom, big old boom. Oh really, yeah,
that's not good. There's video of it. It's crazy, everybody, Okay,
it seems like it. I don't know. Do you really care?
Of course?
Speaker 2 (00:38):
Are you serious right now? Loss of human life? Of
course I care. No, I mean about the volcano. What
do you mean specifically, if a volcano impacts human life?
Speaker 1 (00:48):
Of course I care. No, I'm just saying in general,
do we care about a volcano in Italy? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (00:53):
If it's going to kill people, of course I care. Well,
it's not going to kill people. Oh okay, well, then
what's it doing. It's just blown up and doing lava things.
And there's a bunch of smoke because the top of
the mountain's gone. Now it's just boom boom.
Speaker 1 (01:05):
Yeah. It's not like the Hawaii one where it's like
dripping down the mountain where a bunch of homes are.
This is like out in the middle of the wilderness.
You know, you can you can see it in cameras
and videos and stuff. I agree if people are dying,
of course we care. Speaking of people dying and caring,
what in the world are they doing in Russia and Ukraine?
Feels like every week we have an update on this.
(01:28):
Do we still have our street Carman? Uh? But the
street Carman thinks still live? Yeah, I can find it. Well,
I don't want you to play it. Can we make
one that's like like that? Except instead it's just like
and now the latest from uh the Ukraine Russia war
like a Kronkite style news open where people are like
you know, like that remember the news music from back
(01:49):
then like day and you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (01:54):
Sure, absolutely I can find something like that in the system. Sorry,
I'm a little bit scatterbrained right now because I'm Russia
behind the scenes to fix a lot of problems.
Speaker 1 (02:01):
That oh yeah, I'm looking at it. I realized we
had until I gotten sat down. And but these are
not problems that are our fault. These are problems that
I got one of them fixed. The other two is
a national issue. So good luck national that's actually gonna
impact me. I'm gonna have less time to go to
the bathroom. You're gonna have less time. They weren't thinking
of you. Come on now, guys, anyway, can you can
you sing a little news open for me? Well? What
(02:24):
key are we in?
Speaker 2 (02:25):
First off, can you give me one of those like
mouth harps, b sharp bing bing bing, getting ding.
Speaker 1 (02:34):
Your latest you gotta keep going. Oh okay, hold on,
let me take a bigger breath, and now the latest
from the Ukraine Russia conflict. They got into like like
you got into a little like club club month. All right,
(02:56):
all right, all right, oh fine, I was just getting started.
I feel like that ended up with like a trance
club nineteen ninety six sound the bridge was coming and
that was going to involve some saxophone. Just so you know,
just so the people at home know what they missed
out on. Well, you know what you're missing out on
real production value here, folks. Anyway, Donald Trump, on his
(03:19):
truth Social Today gave us the latest couple an hour ago,
he said, I just finished speaking by telephone with President
Vladimir Putin of Russia. The call lasted approximately one hour
and fifteen minutes. We discussed the attack on Russia's docked
airplanes by Ukraine and also various other attacks that have
been taking place by both sides. It was a good conversation,
(03:40):
but not a conversation that will lead to immediate peace.
President Putin did say and very strongly, that he will
have to respond to the recent attack on the airfields.
We also discussed Iran and the fact that time is
running out on Iran's decision pertaining to nuclear weapons, which
must be made quickly. I stated to President and Iran
(04:01):
cannot have a nuclear weapon, and on this I believe
that we were in agreement. President Putin suggested that he
will participate in the discussions with Iran and that he
could perhaps be helpful in getting this brought to a
rapid conclusion. It is my opinion that Iran has been
slow walking their decision on this very important matter, and
we will need a definitive answer in a very short
period of time. Quote a couple of things there first
(04:23):
and foremost, Hey, here's a question for you. This is
a thought, thought provoking exercise here Iran. They say Iran
is like the way that we should be saying it.
It's really hard to say Iran in the context of
like a full sentence. Have you ever thought to yourself,
maybe we'll just say Iran. Isn't that how George Bush
used to say it? Yeah, everybody said it like that, Iran,
(04:44):
So give me it for instance. Well, okay, so what
happened in the twenty twenty two World Cup. This is
what really took my attention to this. Tyler Adams, who's
a captain of the United States Ben's soccer team, was
doing a press conference, and his press conference they were
about to play Iran in a soccer match. They were
in the same group. You know how people are. They're
(05:06):
trying to take two countries. Their soccer teams are playing
each other. What about the political ramifications? Right? Well, Tyler
Adams was answering a question from an Iranian journalist and
he said, you know, we're playing Iran, And as soon
as he said Iran, he was interrupted by a very
(05:26):
hostile reporter. The same reporter who asked the question and said,
you're saying the name of our country. Wrong, It's not Iran.
Iran is the way, you know, like the Iron Chic
He would say that in the eighties when he was
about to face whole Kogan uh Iran number one US
hot toy. You know what's funny is that guy was
actually from the United States. Oh, he was the Iron Chic. Yeah,
(05:48):
pro wrestling man. You can't trust anything anyway? Can we
just call it Iran? Like amongst friends, it's hard to
say Iran. Sometimes we also discussed Iran. What's not hard
for them to say it? Well, yeah, they're saying I
like that all the time. The fact that time is
running out on Iran's decision pertaining to nuclear weapons. Iran, Okay, well,
Iranian Iranian.
Speaker 2 (06:08):
According to spelling Bee rules, remember the one you gave
me a couple of days ago. Yeah, when you put
me in the spelling Bee hot seat.
Speaker 1 (06:13):
You did pretty good. I felt like I did too.
Speaker 2 (06:16):
And one of them was French origin. But the guy
who pronounced it for the contestant who would win the
whole thing definitely gave an americanized pronunciation of it because French. Yeah,
that might have thrown him way off.
Speaker 1 (06:29):
Yeah, it's like how an American would say it, sure, Yeah,
I don't know. Okay. So with that being said, first off,
the biggest part of this, we'll get to the Iran
thing in a second. Russia got attacked by Ukraine the
doctor airplanes. Putin said, he's got to respond to the
(06:50):
recent attacks. So he's gonna look, it's war. Of course
he's gonna respond. Ukraine had a right to respond to
Are we kidding ourselves here? They're not close to peace?
Very good conversation with Vladimir Putin? Okay, how many times
we heard that, like, let's get something done here? We're
no closer. However, I do think it's good because now
Donald Trump is utilizing Putin's existing relationship with Iran, and
(07:12):
Iran is start trying to, you know, like deflect the
whole nuclear weapon thing. You got to come to an
agreement that Iran cannot have nuclear weapons. And if Putin
can get us there, good idea. Maybe have him a
in a conversational relationship with our president to help get
that achieved, and then maybe we can go back and say, Okay,
(07:33):
vlad we really appreciate your help here. What can we
do to get this war in Ukraine over? But then
does lad say, hey, I helped you with the Iran thing.
Give me half of Ukraine, make big trade deal with Russia,
no more big booms. Could he use that against us
in the negotiating process? Could he use that against Ukraine
in that process? Because Ukraine, let's be honest, doesn't have
(07:53):
access to something like you, like like Iran and their
nuclear weapons. Although Ukraine nuclear weapons, Yeah, maybe hits a
little bit too close to home for them. Were you
the one that tells me you watched that Chernobyl documentary?
I sure did.
Speaker 2 (08:07):
Not a documentary though, big differentiator there. It was a
tea it was a show. It was an HBO show,
and it's important to not call it a documentary because
there were some absolute creative liberties taken. There were characters
that they just made up that were basically an amalgamation
of a bunch of people that they all put into
one character to represent certain parts of what happened. Most
of it focused on the event and then very specifically
(08:30):
the reaction by the Russian people and the government after
the event. The Russian government of course rushing around to
cover up everything at the own peril of its citizens,
which is horrific. It's a fascinating watch and if you
take that grain of salt going in, I absolutely recommend
watching it. It just gives you a perspective of how
(08:50):
evil things can be when the state runs your life
and doesn't have your best interest in mind, it has.
Speaker 1 (08:58):
Their best interest in mind. Right. Yeah, Well, anyway, I
bring that up because there's a bit of history there.
It's the Ukraine Russia conflict and situation and whatnot. But
Russia has the ear of Iran. Because Russia, Iran and
China and North Korea are all buddies now, apparently lad
can get them to like say, okay, no nuclear weapon
(09:20):
for Iran. It's a win for us, right, really, isn't it.
We've got we're pals with the Saudi's. They're going to
be completely outfitted to defend the entire region on our behalf.
We don't have to do anything over there, and Iran
doesn't have nuclear weapons. Well it seems like a good thing. Huh.
I mean, there's no guarantees that it stays good, I guess,
but you know, still, no, Well, I was just thinking
about Hogan joining the wolf pack. Oh you know, yeah.
Speaker 2 (09:44):
Like people are people going to accuse us of like yeah,
like Trump's America slipping swipping swapping sides.
Speaker 1 (09:51):
Well if the okay, so let's say, okay, I'll take
a break and I'll tell you how what the scenario
is on this Russia, Ukraine, Iran. I'll I'll tell you
what the scenario is that would make the world feel
like that might be the case. Whether it is or not,
it would just be the optics. I'll tell you what
that is next on news radio eleven to ten KFA,
and I'll show you. You got to see this. It's
(10:12):
pretty interesting. Anyway we will this situation with Iran. Can
I just say that it's a lot easier Iran, Russia,
the United States, Ukray Your question was what is Hogan?
We'll pack what's the question?
Speaker 2 (10:32):
Oh well, CCTV just my first question about that is
that is that related to CCI's pizza at all? Second question, no,
unrelated to the first, even though it is in Italy.
Speaker 1 (10:43):
No.
Speaker 2 (10:46):
Second question unrelated to the first was when at this
point Hollywood hold Cogan with the dyed beard.
Speaker 1 (10:55):
Remember that, Yeah, it's the black beard with the must
Yeah that was a look, yeah boy, what are you
gonna do? But he was a black and white and
wo right, And then he flipped over to the wolf
pack Red and Black wolf Pack. He was just like,
what the heck he flipped? People thought he flipped for good. Right,
So your question essentially is, at what point does it
(11:18):
appear that the United States is working way too closely
with Iran Russia. We become associated with the bad guys, because,
let's be honest, we see China, North Korea, Iran, Russia
in general is the bad guys. And even if you
think Russia isn't the bad guy in the Ukraine Russia thing,
which again you have to do some real backflips to
make it seem like they're somehow in the right and
(11:38):
all of this. But Iran, China, and North Korea. I
don't think we have to do backflips to say, hey,
these are enemies of ours. They're all hanging out with Russia.
They're all doing like exercises militarily with Russia. There are
North Koreans helping Russia fight against Ukraine. Anybody gonna call
up tell me that all of a sudden, Kim John
UN's a good guy. No, I don't think so. And
(12:00):
if we are, we're losing the plot here. Now to
answer your question, the point that I'm bringing up if
you're just tuning in here. On eleven ten, kfab Donald
Trump on True Social said he got on the phone
and talked for an hour and fifteen minutes again with
Vladimir Putin. Today Now he said, they're not it was
a good conversation. They're not close to peace in Ukraine.
He has to respond to the attacks on the airfield
(12:22):
from Ukraine and whatever. Now. He also said they discussed
Iran because Iran is still dragging his feet on making
a determination on nuclear weapon right And according to Trump,
in his conversation with Putin, they both agreed that Iran
should not have nuclear weapons. So if that's the case,
(12:45):
is it weird that the United States Donald Trump is
talking to Russia to try to talk to Iran to
tell them, Hey, maybe we should tell the United States
you're not going to have a nuclear weapon. Can we
trust them? Here's the the dilemma that you may have
globally optically, as the United States potentially could look like
(13:07):
maybe we're don on the other side's colors a little
bit here. If Trump successfully tells Putin, if you can
get it on to say no nuclear weapon, if you
can tell North Korea to tone it down. We will
have rewards for you. Something Trump has said he'd do,
not necessarily about this, but he'd say Russia would be
(13:29):
rewarded for stopping its war in Ukraine and we would
open up the trade gates and their growth could be unlimited. Right.
He is teasing that he is working through trade to
get what he like these countries who do what he wants.
If Putin is able to help out on the other
friend front, right, Like, if it's like having a friend
that happens to be in the same inner circle as
(13:50):
one of your enemies, and you're just like trying to
operate somehow through your friend to get the enemy group
to all of a sudden be less of an enemy,
or at least to accept you, then maybe you feel like, hey,
you know what, this is worth trying. If that happens,
Donald Trump says, you know what, Russia, you did. Good there, congrats, Flad.
(14:10):
I'm going to make sure that in these peace negotiations
we pressure Ukraine to give you what you want. Now,
I don't know what that looks like. It couldn't be
all of Ukraine, but it could be a healthy chunk.
It could be some of those resources could be unlimited
trade agreement could be a lot of things. If that occurs.
Putin does the heavy lifting to get Aroun to back
down on the nuclear weapon talk and say no more
(14:31):
nuclear weapon. But Iran, maybe he can help mitigate some
of the issues in North Korea and maybe some Chinese
relations as well, and he gets handsomely rewarded in some
way by the United States of America. How do you
think that looks to the rest of Europe, who've been
staunchly opposed to Putin? How do you think that looks
to Canada? How do you think that looks to the
rest of the world. Optically, you'd have some explaining to do.
(14:53):
There is a way that you can do that, I
think and not look like the bad guy. But anytime
that year would be giving Vladimir pot In anything more
than you think that he deserves. You're gonna have to
battle with the way that people are seeing this. Does
that makes sense? And I explained that, Okay? Optically, I'm
not sure in that situation. If Trump rewards Russia for
helping him out with the Iran thing and maybe some
(15:16):
other stuff. With the other enemies we have, which are
shared enemies, they're all together they're all friends. Then he
rewards vlad In the peace talks with Ukraine by you know, like, hey,
by the way, I'm pushing for Putin to get a
lot more than what you're saying he should get. Yeah,
that would look bad. That would be a tough look,
no matter if we think it would have been worth
(15:37):
it or not. You have the United Kingdom, you have France,
you have Italy, you have other world powers that are
looking at you, just like, what what are you doing? Dude?
Are you one of them? Now? Like? Are you? Are
we more? Is the United States more friendly with Russia
and by proxy with the Iran, China and North Korea
than they are with the rest of us? Is that
something that we want to That's something we want to be,
(15:58):
don't I don't think so. The way we talk about China,
I mean we're no, we're close to that, right, So,
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (16:03):
Only time will tell if you can orchestrate a deal
that ends up having less life lost, ends up as
a result with certain foreign powers not having access to
very destructive technology that they could potentially use against innocent people. Right,
that seems like a good thing. Yeah, but hey, look,
(16:24):
a lot of ideas throughout history, like the League of
Nations that seemed like a great idea at the time,
didn't work out that way.
Speaker 1 (16:30):
And didn't go so well.
Speaker 2 (16:31):
Of course, there were variables they weren't thinking about. Woodrow
Wilson had the idea. It was half baked. It's too
half baked. Took us a while to really figure out
how to do that. But sometimes trial and error, you know,
I don't think now is the time for trial and
error in this situation. They've been going at it for
long enough. We got to figure out a solution, but
you also need to figure out a solution where hey,
maybe the solution is more of you know, hey, Vlad,
(16:52):
this would be good for the world.
Speaker 1 (16:54):
We'll open up trade. But I can't in good faith
give you more of Ukraine because you helped us talk
to Oran. Yeah, like you'd have to be careful about
how you how you did all that, because if I'm
glad again, I'll be like, guess what what are you
gonna give me? I'll help you with Iran. You're gonna
you're gonna make sure that you're looking out for me
and these these peace negotiations, Are you gonna help me
(17:14):
get what I want? If not screw you, pal, I'm
I'm not talking to him, And if I talked to him,
it's just gonna be about you and how we think
you're dumb. If I'm led. I mean, that's the conversation, right,
What are you gonna give me to talk to Iran?
What are you gonna do? What are you gonna do
for me? I have no problem keep I'll keep this
war going as long as I need to.
Speaker 2 (17:31):
It's gonna take a world war to stop me that,
you know. I mean like that, come come to What
are you gonna give me to stop?
Speaker 1 (17:36):
Right? I'll talk to Iron for you? What are you
gonna give me for it? We're kind of at that point.
I was like, Okay, well, we gotta be careful about
what we tell them. We'll give him.
Speaker 2 (17:43):
Well, if you're trusted putin to handle any conversation, that
just seems to be bad positioning.
Speaker 1 (17:48):
It goes over to Iran's like, Hey, he wants me
to tell you not to have nuclear weapon, But it
would be really funny if you just never told him.
We can't. We can't put that out like like that
could happen. He could, He could absolutely do that. Every
time we talk to this guy. Trump says it was
a good conversation, and then what happens. He goes against
whatever he said he was gonna do. Ah. I don't know.
Is it weird to say the same thing that I
(18:09):
always say. Time is gonna tell, Well it will two
