but given the injuries to Joe Musgrove, to Nick Pavett,
they if you would have told people they had the
sixteenth best era, I think a lot of people would

have taken that. I certainly would have taken that because
if you had told me that they wouldn't be pitching,
I wouldn't have much faith. And all offseason we talked
about with this Pottery's team will the pitching hold up.
If the pitching get hold up, they're gonna be a
real threat. That was kind of the narrative. We knew
the bullpen would be good, We thought the bats would
be good because heading into the year, I think we

just thought of a little return of the mean, regression
to the mean. Last year, the power wasn't there. They
were in the bottom third, one of the worst teams
actually in power and hitting over the wall, and I
think a lot of people chalked up Jackson Merrill's kind
of not great performance last year due to injury in

we forget he started unbelievable first month of the year

the bullpen would be good, We thought the bats would
be good because heading into the year, I think we
