Speaker 1 (00:06):
Good morning, everybody. Welcome to Healing Begins. My name is
Pastor Gail, and I'm so glad that you have chose
to join me. I'm looking out my window right now
and it's snowing and it's cold, and I'm just thinking
about everybody out there today who are just kind of
thinking about what it means to be a true success.
So I have nine keys to be in a true

(00:29):
success in God's kingdom. So you know, success in today's
world might be measured by the cayri drive, the house
you live in, how much money you make, but none
of that is true in God's kingdom. And so if
you went to heaven right now, they got all the money,

(00:50):
all the gold. Everything in heaven is beautiful. So true
success really comes down the third John, verse two. I
pray above all out brothers, that you would prosper in
being good health even as your soul prospers. So if
you want success, you've really got to have soul success.
Your soul has to be healthy. And so if you

(01:13):
find yourself nursing and rehearsing certain situations that you've been through,
nursing your pain, not being able to get over it,
I don't care if you're rich, I don't care if
you've got a lot of money, a big house, in
a big car. If your soul is miserable, so are you.
Then again you can be poor and have the same problem.

(01:33):
So what are the true keys of true success? One
of the chapters in the Bible that I really like
is Joshua chapter one, because God really basically tells Joshua
how to be a success and how to go forward
leading the children of Israel after the death of Moses. Man,

(01:55):
can you imagine Moses was highly successful, considered a friend
of God. Amazing, and yet you know what God considered
him his friend. And so in Joshua chapter one, verses
three through nine, God tells Moses how much territory he'll have,

(02:18):
and he explains to him how to be a success.
And I want to start really reading with part of
verse three and then skip down to verse five. I
will give you every place you set your foot, as
I promised Moses. Well, how would you like that? I
believe that promises for you and me today? How would
you like it that everywhere you went, that area, that territory,

(02:42):
that place would belong to you, That God would give
you favor favor would be your flavor, and that you
would be a success wherever he leads you. I like
verse five, no one will be able to stand up
against you all the day of your life as I
was with Moses, so I will be with you. I

(03:05):
will never leave you nor forsake you. Wow. God has
given Joshua a big promise. You know, if we're gonna
go be a success, we really do need the promise
of God. We need to be told to take courage,
to fight the good fight, not to give up, to
keep pressing forward. Why when you're gonna go do something

(03:27):
for God, it isn't always going to be easy. When
you start out to try to be a success, you
might experience many failures in life. Just because you experienced
a failure or something didn't go your way does not
mean you're not a success. And many times failures are

(03:48):
the fingerprints to success. Through failing to not having it
not turn out the way I want. Maybe I learned
to do something differently, approach it differently, and that's that's
how God works in his kingdom. And so he goes
on and he tells Joshua be strong and courageous. It's

(04:08):
interesting if God tells me to be strong and courageous.
What that means is there's gonna be something that I
will face that I need to be strong and I
need to be courageous. I'm gonna need courage because he
goes on and tells him, you will lead these people
to inherit the land I swore to their ancestors to

(04:31):
give them. So he's saying, you will be a success, Joshua,
if you follow me, do what I say, listen to
my promises. You can do what I'm asking you to do.
Have you ever felt that what you felt God wanted
you to do was too big for you to do.
If the answer is yes, that's great because when I

(04:52):
know something is too big for me to do, I
know I can do it if I do it with God,
because I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me. Right,
and it's so can you. Then he goes on and
he says this, be very strong and very courageous. But
by now I think I'd be kind of fearful about man.

(05:13):
He's told me he never leave me. He told me
to be strong and courageous. Then he says, be very
strong and very courageous. While I put a very on it.
Oh my goodness, he says, be careful to obey all
the law my servant Moses gave to you. Do not
turn from it to the right or to the left,
so you may be successful wherever you go. How many

(05:37):
times in walking with the Lord do people turn to
the right or to the left. They get sidetracked or
maybe the compromise in an area of their life. All right,
when God gives the formula to success, you want to
follow it. It's not always easy, you know. The Bible
says broad as the road that leads to destruction, and
narrow is the road that leads to eternal life. And

(05:59):
few who'll either find it. So it means that God's
way is often a narrow way. It's not the easy way.
It's a way of honor. It's the way. It takes courage. Right.
Then he says in verse eight, keep the Book of
the Law always on your lips, always meditate on it
day and night, so you may be careful to do

(06:22):
everything written in it. Wow, that means that we are
to be reading the Bible, meditating on the Bible day
and night. It is to be our guide to success.
And then he says to him then you will be
prosperous and successful. Then he says it again, Have I

(06:42):
not commanded you be strong and courageous. Do not be defraid,
do not be discouraged. For the Lord, your God will
be with you wherever you go. What a passage, Joshua
Chapter one is the passage that you and I ought
to read over and over and over again, because we

(07:04):
should get that scripture ingrained or written on the tablets
of our hearts. It's so important. Then he says in
Proverbs sixty three, commit to the Lord whatever you do,
and he will make your plans succeed. So do I
commit my plans to the Lord? Or do I make

(07:26):
my plans commit him to him? Later? So commit whatever
you do to the Lord, and he will make your
plans succeed. I love that Psalm thirty seven five. Commit
your way to the Lord and trust him. You know
that's a mouthful right there. Sometimes we can commit our
way to the Lord. But I'll tell you what, it's

(07:46):
very hard to trust God when it looks like, you know,
we're walking in the way God wants, but it looks
like everything's against us. It looks like even though we
know are doing what God wants. It looks like every
thing is falling apart. That is where you really have
to trust God that he will see you through. Colossians

(08:09):
three twenty three through twenty four talks about work with
all your heart as for the Lord. Wow, work with
all your heart as for the Lord. You know, it's
one thing when you work on a path. When you
go on a path that God wants you to do,

(08:29):
you got a mission that God wants you to fulfill.
It's not just doing it for one week, two week,
three weeks. Sometimes is doing it for years, you know,
carrying out the mission, being faithful, working with it with
all your heart, not giving up when you think you fail,
not backing up when things go sideways, but keep going
straight ahead. So nine keys to true success. Key number

(08:54):
one be strong in God's calling. Wow, it's he to
be strong for a week, two weeks, three weeks, three months,
But will you be strong after three years? Will that
be consistent in your life? Be strong in God's calling.
That's why God tells Joshua, be strong, be courageous, because

(09:17):
you will lead these people to inherit the land. Be
very strong and very courageous. That's why he says it
we are to be strong in God's calling. Number two,
we are to meditate on his Word. Well, what does
that mean? Does that mean emptying your mind of all things? No,
that means getting a scripture like Joshua chapter one, the

(09:38):
first chapter, reading with it, reading it, setting with it,
meditating on it, letting God open up your mind to
the meaning that the Holy Spirit wants you to have,
and renewing your mind with it. You know, it says
in Romans twelve one and two that we are not
to be conformed to the pattern of this world any longer,

(09:59):
but we are to be transformed by the renewing of
her mind. Why so we can test and prove what
God's will is his good, pleasing and perfect will. So
sometimes discerning what God wants, walking the way God wants
is not always easy. Meditate on the Word day and night.

(10:19):
So if you're going to meditate on it, you got
to be in it. So what do you mean, Well,
you can't read your Bible for two minutes a day
and think you're going to meditate on the Word. You
can't read your Bible every other day or every other
week thinking the Word is going to be in you.
To get word in you. You got to put it
in to meditate, and it's got to be on your heart,

(10:41):
and you got to be reading it, listening to the
Holy Spirit as a lifestyle. After all, walking with Jesus
is not about religion. It's about a personal relationship with Him.
That's what it's all about. So meditate on the word,
day and night. Number three, make sure you commit your

(11:01):
plans to him. Well, what that means is when you're
thinking about doing something, you're saying, God, is this what
you want me to do? Lord? I want to make
sure that what I'm about to do is your will
for my life. I just commit my way, I commit
my plan to you. Got I asked that you lead me,
guide me, direct me, and many times. And you're gonna

(11:24):
find this funny. As I've walked with the Lord to
fulfill this plan. Some of the things I've done that
have been a real success, it feels like I stumbled
into them. Say what do you mean? It almost seemed
like I fell into what God wanted me to do.
I didn't realize it, but what was about to happen

(11:45):
was me walking right into the perfect will of God. Now,
the Bible says the steps of the righteous are ordered
of God. Right, So if they're ordered of God, that
means that as you're walking with the Lord, as you're
following the Holy Spirit, as you're reading the Word of God,
God can guide your path without you even knowing it.

(12:08):
But also the things that you desire in your heart.
You ever have something that you desire to do, the
Bible says that delight in the Lord, and He will
give you the desires of your heart. And the reason
for that is He's the one that put them there
in the first place. And so as you're meditating on
the Word of God, and as you're committing your plans
to Him on a daily basis, as you walk forward,

(12:32):
you will find yourself walking right into the plan of
God for your life. Many times without even knowing it.
I've had times where I felt led to pick up
the phone and call somebody and it was a major
God moment. I thought it was just me having a
thought come to my mind. But sometimes I've learned to
listen to those thoughts and walk them out by faith

(12:53):
to see where they will lead. And more times than not,
they lead into what God wants me to do. And
God can do the same thing for you. Point number
four trust his timing. This is probably the hardest thing.
When you're going forth on something God wants you to do.

(13:14):
You know, the enemy will try to tempt you and say, well,
you know you're not doing what God wants you to do.
If you were doing what God wanted you to do,
everything would be going good by now, that door would
be open by now, and all this kind of stuff. Well,
that's not true, because in God, he has a timing
he wants us to walk in. You know, your heart
has a rhythm and a timing. Everything in life has

(13:37):
a timing. One time I went out in Pensacola, Florida,
trying to do somebody surfing, and I learned a variable
valuable Listen, if I jumped into the wave at the
right time, that wave would just push me forward to
the shore with very little effort. But if I jump
too fast, the wave would bury me. If I jumped

(13:57):
too late, I would lose all that than the way.
So God has a specific timing that he wants things
done in, and so trusting God, trusting in his timing,
By the way, you have to be strong and courageous
for that because sometimes that you're like man, when are

(14:20):
you gonna come through God. Lord, I've been waiting on
you to do something. I've been waiting on you, God,
to come through it, but it just seems like where
are you? God? Timing is everything, and God wants you
to trust his timing. Number five, he wants you to
work wholeheartedly. That means work hard. I don't put in

(14:41):
eight hour days. Sometimes I put in nine hour days,
ten hour days. Sometimes it's longer, sometimes it's not. But
it's about It's just not about working. I'm on a
mission to fulfill something. I'm just not working. God's called
me on a mission to help many hurting people find
the Lord. That's why I got a God Stories YouTube channel.

(15:01):
If you put the ad sign and put my name
Gail Krack. Without these spaces, you will find my God's
Story YouTube channel where you can listen to God's Stories
at night and get a teaching during today. For about
two minutes, I'm putting all these things out, all these
different avenues to help fulfill my mission, which means if
I'm gonna get anything done, I'm gonna have to be intentional.

(15:25):
I'm gonna have to work hard, and I'm gonna have
to work with all my heart as to the Lord,
I don't need a punch of time clock. I don't
need to do that because I'm on a mission. I
get up every day with things they know God wants
me to do, and God wants me to fulfill. And
you can find yourself the same way. And so I
want you to press forward in his promises and work.

(15:50):
Colehartly point number six. Rely on his presence. We see
that's really lived out. When the children of Israel were
in the desert, they were led by a pillar cloud
by day and the pillar fire by night. That children
of Israel were always led by the presence of the Lord. Now,
one of the things I look for as I'm walking

(16:10):
with the Lord is I try to follow his presence.
I try to be able to sense when he's moving
in my life. Now we walk by faith or not
by sight. I don't walk by how I feel, because
sometimes I'm walking forward whether I feel his presence or not.
If God hasn't given me a different command, I keep

(16:31):
walking in the same direction he told me to walk
until something changes my course. Right, and we're gonna do
that someday. We're gonna walk that way until we get
to heaven. So it is so good to walk with
the Lord, to walk in his presence, because in his
presence is fullness of joy. We don't want to do

(16:52):
anything without his presence. So it's very important that we're
in his presence at least to point number seven, and
it is to obey his guidance. So I've been invited
to do things where I thought that the Lord was
crazy when he asked me to do it, or when
I was invited into certain things, and people say, oh,

(17:14):
Pastor Gail, you're so brave. I said, no, you're all wrong.
I'm not brave. I'm obedient. When God guides my steps
and he wants me to do something, I try to
obey right away, even though I don't know what it's
all gonna Entail, But if I know it's the Lord,

(17:35):
I'm gonna obey. I want to share something with you.
Wherever he leads, he will equip you to go. He
will give you what you need at the time you
need it. He will equip you. And I have found
when I have been asked to do some of the
most crazy things by the Lord, I have found the
greatest fulfillment and the greatest victory. And I have seen

(17:58):
things but I like taking a risk. But it really
wasn't taking a risk. It was just being obedient to
walk in an area where God wanted me to walk.
I remember the first day Pastor Christian. Now you got
to know Pastor Christian. Okay, he works. He's ahead of
Extreme Camp in Costa Rica. He works with kids coming

(18:19):
away from the drug lords and gangs. He will get
fifty sixty kids and give them were ninety kids and
give them an extreme God experience. So one day he
walked off the platform and he walked to me and
he goes you in my camp and I'm like, what
you in Extreme Camp? And I gotta be honest. I
said to him, do I look like a gang speaker?

(18:39):
I'm a fat white guy. And he goes you in
my camp and I'm like, Lord, and so I just
kind of laughed it off. I said, if God provides,
I'll come back. You know. I got back a month
without going into all the details, and a guy called me.
He said, I really feel God wants me to send
you to Extreme Camp. And before I know it, I
was flying into Extreme Camp to spend three days ministering

(19:04):
in the two guys that were supposed to come with me.
Their flights didn't make it in. So I was the
only speaker about two and a half three days, day
and night, and it was on whatever Holy Spirit wanted
me to speak on. And I gotta tell you it
was definitely a step of faith. And God saved my bacon. Again,

(19:24):
let me tell you, but we saw God do amazing things.
So obey his guidance number eight. And in Matthew twenty
five twenty one he says these words, which I think,
on the day of judgment will mean you were a
true success. Well done, thou good and faithful servant. Wow. Right,

(19:50):
there is the key to the whole manner. When we
are walking with the Lord and doing what he asked.
Maybe we won't be a millionaire, maybe we won't have
all the luxuries of this light. But someday when we
meet Jesus, we will hear the words well done, thou

(20:12):
good and faithful servant. Those are the greatest words you
can ever hear. Now, I do believe God wants us
to be blessed. I do believe he wants us to
have finances. The reason I like finances, I'd like to
give it away. Money is a vehicle. The money is
not a sin. The love of money is a sin.

(20:34):
It's the root of all evil, the love of money.
But money is not the root of all evil. The
love of money is So money is a vehicle. I
remember being up in the mountains of Costa Rica in
a church and this lady is praying, and this mom
is praying, and I hear the Holy Spirit say, put
five hundred lampiums in her hand. That's five hundred of

(20:55):
their dollars. Now, if you want to know that against
the American dollar, you do five hundred divided by twenty
four and then you'll know how much American money that was. Well,
she was just blown away. Her prayer lifted up to
God had been answer. So money, I love money only
as a vehicle to bless others, to help others, to

(21:19):
see God's kingdom expand you know, spiritual care. God graciously
provides as we provide a free service to provide help
and healing to those that are in need. Key number nine.
Probably the most important king doing what God wants us

(21:42):
to do. If you read Matthew twenty five and twenty
six the Separation of the Sheep and the Goat, to
realize the goats got when you read Matthew twenty five
and twenty six, the reason the goats got in trouble
is because they did not do what God wanted them
to do. They didn't know God's heart. They didn't do

(22:04):
the things that were important to God. So doing what
God wants you to do is key number nine. So
how you doing out there? I'd love to hear your feedback.
