Speaker 1 (00:07):
Good morning everybody. I want to welcome you to Healing Begins.
My name is Pastor Gale, and I'm so glad you've
chose to join me this morning. I've decided to do
something a little different, but I think you will enjoy it.
I'd love to hear from you. My email is share
at Healingbegins Radio dot com. That share at Healing Begins

(00:29):
radio dot com. What I've decided to do this morning
is tell your story. Yes, to tell you a story.
Set back, relax, shut your eyes, but if you're driving,
don't shut your eyes and listen to the story that
I have entitled what Where is that in the Bible?

(00:51):
That's the story that I want to tell. Well, it
was quite a few years ago. I was working at
a trauma center in the region somewhere, I'm not going
to say which one it was, and I had spent
probably more time in the hospital than I have at
home because of all my work working between three trauma

(01:14):
centers and then also visiting a couple other ones when
people were sick and in the hospital. So I had
a lot of chance to visit people that were sick,
to visit people that were really really in a lot
of pain. If you want to see pain and hurt,
just work in a trauma center center for a while
and you'll see plenty of it. And so it was

(01:37):
like a Tuesday night and I was going to the
trauma center to do my second shift as a chaplain.
I had all eight floors in er, and you never
know what to expect when you go in. Every night
is different. But one of the normal things I would
do is I would come into the hospital and I
would see the chaplains that were coming off from the

(01:58):
day shift because I was taking the second shift, and
they were all giving their assignments to people that needed
to be visited on each floor, and all that was
going really well, and so I decided that I would
go up and do what I would normally do. So
when I normally get to the hospital, I make my rounds,

(02:19):
so I go to all the different floors, but I
first start with the intensive care wards. So I went
up the elevator and got to the seventh floor and
walked over to the nurses station and I said, hey,
how you guys doing tonight. They said, well, chaplain, we
have someone we'd like you to visit over there. It

(02:41):
was a room adjacent from the nurses station, and I
noticed a young girl was kind of looking at me,
and I didn't think that no, but I mean, you
can hear voices in the hall and if you're laying
in intensive care and you can see and you can
hear and you can understand, you're probably wondering who's in
the hallway and who are they what are they doing?
And so the nurse said, well, we've got a young client.

(03:04):
We got a young patient over there, about seventeen or sixteen.
I don't know how old, punctured lund on a ventilator,
but they said, she can understand perfectly everything you say.
She just can't talk. She has a breathing tube. And
I think this would be a really good place for
you to go visit. And I thought to myself, you know,

(03:25):
I think it would be a great place for me
to visit. So I turned around and she looked at
me and she waved with her hand like come in
my room, Come in my room. So I walked in
the room and I told her that I was Protestant.
I was a chaplain on call, and she acted like, wow,
she already knew everything that I was telling her. I thought, oh, incredible.

(03:45):
I held up a bottle of anoying all and I said,
do you know what this is? And she shook her
head like yep, she knew what that was. And so
I said, would you like me to anoint you with
oil and read scripture? And she shook her head yes,
And so I annoyed her in the name of the Father,
Son and Holy Spirit and read scripture and prayed. And
for those of you that are listening right now, if

(04:08):
you don't know what annoying with oil is, go to
James chapter five. It says, if anyone is sick, let
him annoint with oil in the name of the Lord,
and let him cough for the elders of the church,
and the prayer offered in faith will raise the sick
person up. So technically pastors are ordained elders. We're not

(04:28):
really pastors as a title were given, but our license
says ordained elder. And so after I got done praying,
she smiled and I smile, and we couldn't really talk.
So I went on about my rounds that night. I
went to the different floors, and I usually came in
about twice a week. So on my next time in,

(04:51):
I followed the same routine. I stopped in with the
chaplain's office, got my march in orders for the night,
headed up to the critical care I thought, well, you know,
I'll go back and I'll visit that young lady that
they wanted me to visit, see how she's doing. I
came back and sure enough, she's there, and she saw
me walk in and she immediately emotioned me in a room.

(05:15):
So I went in a room and I said, you
want to be annoyed with oil again? And she shook
her head yes. I said, well, you want me to
read scripture? She shook her head yes, and so I
would annoy her with oil and pray. And I thought, wow,
this is a really, really amazing encounter I'm having here
in this critical care ward, you know. And I had

(05:38):
no clue that something amazing was happening at the same
time I was there with her. So after I had
anointed her with oil and I had prayed and read
the word, and I left, went down to the hospital,
made my normal rounds, went to all the different floors.
While going to one floor, a young lady who's one

(06:01):
of the nurses whose foot was bandaged, she held it up, say,
Chaplain pray for my foot. So she put the foot
in my hands and I prayed, and she goes, thank you,
the pain is gone. She didn't tell me what was
going on, and I'll tell you later what happened. But
and so the next week I came in and the
girl's there, and I went to the seventh floor again.

(06:23):
She motioned me in the room again. We did the
same routine from two to three weeks, over and over,
and then one day I came in and guess what
she's gone. In my line of work, well, they either
died or they went to rehab. I never asked why.
I never followed up with that, but that's usually what happened.

(06:45):
I didn't think no more about that. But on my
way down, the girl whose foot was wrapped came to
see me. She said, you ain't gonna believe what happened.
She said, the reason my foot was wrapped up was
because they had tooken a bone spur off the top
on my foot, and so my foot was laid open
right down to the bone. And she goes, I went

(07:06):
back to the doctor and it wasn't supposed to be
healed up for two weeks. And she said the doctor
unwrapped my foot, and my foot was perfectly healed up,
and he said, what happened? You are healed up two
weeks early. Incredible? Isn't that incredible? So I went about

(07:26):
my normal rounds for a couple of weeks, didn't think
nothing of it until one day. I'm sitting in my
office and I'm working and I hear, yep, that's a
knock on the door. I said, come in, and the
door opened, and standing before me was a beautifully dressed
seventeen year old girl. Now, when you're in intensive care,

(07:48):
you gotta know you do not look the same as
you did when you weren't intensive care. Right when you're
in intensive care, you're in the hospital, your hair is
all messed up, you probably don't have your makeup on,
and you're just not look in your best. And the
young girl said, do you remember who I am? I said,
I looked her up and down and I noticed she

(08:09):
had a trade mark. I said, oh, yeah, I know
who you are. You're that girl. I said, I anointed
you so much with oil. I said, your head must
be coated with oil, and we both laughed. She said,
I come by to say thank you, and I said,
thank you for what for coming to see me? I said,

(08:33):
all I did was pray. She goes, you don't know,
do you? I said, know what? She said? You know,
the first time you walked into intensive care, you had
a group of angels with you and I could see them.
So she said, I motioned, I want you in my room.

(08:53):
Come in my room. Come in my room. And I said, okay,
And she said, you came in my room, innided me
with the oil and prayed, and you left. Your angels
stayed and they worked on my body. And I said,
what where is that in the Bible where angels work

(09:15):
on our bodies as it relates to healing. I mean,
one of the names of God is Jehovah Rofe got
our healer, right. Where is that in the Bible? And
so she said, for two weeks you came to see
me every time you had your set of angels with you,
and every time you would pray, and every time they
would stay and work on my body. And then I

(09:37):
began to think, well, did I get new angels when
I stepped out of the intensive care word because I
lost the first batch ministering in her room. Well, she
made a full recovery and we sat there, we talked,
we laughed, she was smiling, and I said, you know,
it wasn't me, ma'am, it was Jesus. I said, you know,

(10:00):
you should forget you ever met me, give glory to God,
and live your life for Jesus Christ, because you know,
she was really young, and God spared her for a reason. Right,
God had a reason. God had a purpose to spare
that young woman. And so that day she left, she
gave me a hoggin, got to the door and looked back.

(10:21):
I said, well, you have a great day. And that
was the last time that I've ever seen her. I
often wonder where God took her, what she's doing now,
and how God is using her. You know what my
point is. My point is many times when we're out ministering,
we think we're alone, but we are totally surrounded by

(10:45):
the angels of heaven taking care of us each and
every day. And when we're praying, they're there with us.
And you might say, where is this that that angels
work on our bodies and do that type of menacey, Well,
that's the same thing I asked the Lord. The Lord
reminded me of Hebrews one fourteen. Are not all angels

(11:09):
ministering spirits sent forth to minister to those who shall
be heirs of salvation. Well, if they're ministering spirits, what
are they're ministering? What are they doing with us that
we can't see? And then again, when Jesus was being
tempted in the wilderness, it says that after the temptation

(11:30):
was done, the angels came and they attended to him,
and they ministered to him, and they strengthened them. How
do they do it? They must have touched them. They
must have been doing something that we can't see in
the unseen realm. And again, when Jesus was in the
garden Aga seventy, he was sweating drops of blood. At
one point, the Bible says the angels came and ministered

(11:53):
to him and strengthened him. You know, sometimes in our
greatest hour of need, the angels are at our side,
at our greatest hour of need, they are there with us.
When you get here, all of a sudden, you're burst
of energy that you lost, but now you've got it back.
Could it be that the angels are around now? You know,

(12:16):
the angels don't want any attention from us. They just
want to come. They just want to do the job
they were sent to do, but they want Jesus to
get the glory. He is the center of the story.
Right are you following me in that? And so one
more angels story as we wrap up our time together.
This morning, I was helping rescue people out of the

(12:39):
Dark Kingdom, people that have been very deep into Satanism
at one time. And I had this one lady I
was helping who told me of her great fear of
the hospitals. She said, I just I'm so afraid of
the hospitals, and I said okay. And one day she called,
she said, can I have lunch with you in the hospital.

(13:01):
You know, we have a cafeteria, we have good food.
And I said, sure, come on down. And so I thought,
if you're so afraid of the hospital, why are you here,
you know? And so she came walking in and I
asked her, I said, if you're so afraid of being
in the hospital, why are you here? And then she

(13:24):
said the famous words I've heard many times. You don't know,
do you? And I says, no. What she said, when
you came walking down the hall toward me, you have
an entourage of angels and their coats are all different colors,

(13:47):
and they're walking with you, and so as we sat
and talk, and then she goes, but you have that
one there, and she pointed, he's big. He's like three
stories tall. Now this might be blowing some of your
minds at this time. I said, what three stories tall?
And when you're in a room talking, he puts a

(14:08):
sword in the door and the rest of the angels
sit around listening to what you're saying. And I thought wow.
And she said, he's got a helmet, he's wearing a
blood red cape. He's got a she described him, a
shield on his back, he's armored, boots on his feet,
and his knees come up as high as the first floor.

(14:30):
I thought, wow. You know, I thought, well, maybe maybe
she's off a rocker a little bit right, or maybe
she's just seeing things. Well. I got a call to
go to the third floor, the cancer floor. The nurses
told me they had another lady that was dying of cancer.
But they said, we thought you would like to visit

(14:52):
her because she's seeing angels in her room. And I'm like, yeah,
I think i'd be fun. So I go up to
the room and knock on the door, and the little
grandma said, come in. And I walk in and she
looks at me and she goes, WHOA, he's big. I said,

(15:15):
he's with me, ma'am. And she described him just the
way the other lady did. She goes, I want him.
I said, why do you want him? I said, your
room is full of angels. I could feel it, mana,
the atmosphere of the room was electric. I said, you
don't need mine. Your room is full of angels. So
I visited her a while and we prayed, and then

(15:37):
I left. I thought, Lord, what are you trying to
tell me? Lord? You want me to be more aware
that there is an unseen realm that is working on
our behalf each and every day. But we tend to
not think about it. We tend to ignore it, We
tend not to know what to do with it. You know,

(16:00):
in Bible College, they didn't want to talk about angels
and demons because they didn't want us to be fascinated
by it. But how many of you know you need
to understand angels and the demonic realm. We are in
a battle. We are in a war, and the angels
are warring with us against the forces of darkness. It

(16:21):
says in Psalms one oh three, verse twenty that the
angels do the word of God. What does that mean?
Whenever you're praying the word of God out loud, the
angels listen and they go and they do what you're praying.
Like Psalm thirty four to seven, the Angel of the

(16:42):
Lord in camps around those that love and fear him,
and he delivers them. And I pray right now, in
the name of Jesus for everyone listening, that the angels
would go and camp around each one. Boom, it's done.
You have angels around you, whether you understand it or not.
They listen, and they do the word of God, and
they travel at the speed of thought. They're quicker than

(17:07):
the speed of light, so they can get from me
to you in a second, in a heartbeat and a
split second. Right, And so the angels are at work.
The angels are always with us, whether we see them
or not. But I think that we need appreciate it.
But you know, the demons are also with us too.
What do you mean, Well, you know, the devil cannot

(17:28):
read your mind, and demons can't hear your thoughts, but
they can hear every negative word that comes out of
our mouths, and based on the negative words that might
come out of our mouths from time to time, the
demons make their plans against us. That's how it works,
all right. The Bible says, we fight not against flesh
and blood, but against principalities and powers and rules of

(17:51):
evil and the heavenly realms. Therefore, put on in the
armor of God, so that you can take your stand
against the devil's schemes. So one more Angels stories while
I'm on it. I was in South Dakota at Wounded Knee.
I don't know if you knew where that is, Pine
Ridge Indian Reservation. I was with my Indian dad, and no,
I'm not Indian, I'm American. But I got adopted into

(18:15):
the family and he had me in a house up
near Wounded Knee praying for elderly ladies. And so I
was praying for this one lady with my back to
the door, and unbeknownst to me, the door came open
and then walked this big Indian man, long black hair.
I didn't even see him come in the door, and
he ran up to attack me from behind, and all

(18:37):
of a sudden I heard crash and I turned around.
He's on his back on the floor looking at me
with fright. He jumped to his feet, ran through the
open door, fell on his stomach on the ground, got
back up, fell down again, and kept on running. And

(18:58):
my Indian dad's name was Darren plenty stars. I said
to him, can you tell me just what happened? Oh?
He said yeah, he said, he came up to attack
you from behind, but your angel stepped out of the
invisible realm, threw him to the ground and disappeared. I went, WHOA.
Then I thought, well, why don't you protect me? Man?

(19:19):
Ha Wow. If it wasn't for the Angel of the Lord,
I think I would be in bad trouble, very bad trouble.
And then there was another time up I was doing
work in the projects of Canada. I was doing my
rounds through this trailer part and there was this house
that I always hoped I could come in. And one

(19:42):
day as I walked by the house, a little girl
ran out past the pit boll up to me and
she said, my mother would like to see you. I said,
please go get your mom, because I'm afraid of your
big dog. You know, a big pit bull with a
chain around his neck. And so she went in the
house and came out with the mother in toe and
she go, who are you. I go, I'm a Bible
college student. She goes, a preacher in our yard. Come

(20:05):
on in. So she invited me in the house and
the dog. Once I get in the house, the dog
was all right. I come around the corner and I
know I'm in trouble. I know I'm not in a
safe place. There's some guys at the table drinking and
smoking and looking at me funny. And I'm going to
make a long story short because we're coming near to
the end of our time. The moment of the house

(20:26):
said would you like a beer? I said no, thank you,
and she goes, do you think you're better than us?
I said, well, the Bible says no drunkard will end
of the Kingdom of Heaven. I thought, oh my god,
what did I just say. I'm going to get myself killed.
But she said would you like a milk? And I
said yes. And the guy at the table said, I
prayed today that God would send me someone to tell

(20:48):
me about Jesus. And now this man is at my table,
and if you don't want to hear what he has
to say you can leave the room. Three people left
the table immediately went in the other room, left me
with Jim, a shady guy at the end of the table.
Jim's girlfriend was giving me dagger looks, and for the
next six seven weeks I shared the Gospel with him.

(21:11):
On the seventh time of going back to that house
sharing the gospel, Jim accepted Jesus as his Lord and
Savior and his girlfriend was so mad. He looked at
his girlfriend and he said, you know I'm a bad man.
You can go back to your mother. And Jim says
to me, do you know who I am? I said, Jim,
I don't know who you are. He said, I'm the

(21:31):
biggest drug dealer in this whole area. He said, I
haven't made an honest living for years. And I said, well,
can I ask you a question? He goes what I said,
why did you ever let me in your house? He said, well,
when you came in my house, you had angels with
you and we knew we needed to listen. You had
a power with you we were not familiar with. Wow,

want to pray for you, Father. I pray for those
that find themselves in a tremendous struggle today. I pray
that you would give them comfort. I pray that you
would give them peace. I pray that you surround them
with your angels according to Psalm thirty four to seven. Lord,
I pray that you would keep them in the palm
of your hand and let them know you are with them.

(22:42):
In the name of Jesus. Amen. May the Lord bless you,
May the Lord keep you. May the Lord cause his
faith to shine upon you. May he be gracious over you,
give you peace, and may you always know that the
angels of heaven are always watching over you. I would
