quite interesting, mister Ippy, Did I get that correct?

Speaker 4 (04:37):
Don Hippy?

Speaker 5 (04:39):
That's it all right?

Speaker 1 (04:41):
Don tell us how old are you?

Speaker 5 (04:44):
I'm ninety six?

Speaker 1 (04:45):
No, okay, love it all right? Where do we beginning?

Speaker 2 (04:50):
Filled with such wisdom?

Speaker 1 (04:53):
All right, here's let me start you ready, okay, go ahead, okay,
here we go. First, first question, at ninety six years old,
how many years have you been a bartender?

Speaker 5 (05:00):
Yea, since my early thirties.

Speaker 4 (05:04):
What's the drink that you've prepared the most?

Speaker 6 (05:07):
Oh Jesus back the doers on the lock.

Speaker 5 (05:11):
When I first started, chink was a buck twenty?

Speaker 1 (05:16):
Was a buck twenty?

Speaker 7 (05:17):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (05:17):
Those were the days. Have you ever named a drink
after a customer?

Speaker 5 (05:24):
What kind of a stupid question is that?

Speaker 7 (05:28):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (05:28):
Kelly, Well, my apologies.

Speaker 4 (05:33):
Would you like to take another stab at it?

Speaker 2 (05:34):
Marie? I don't know. Do you think I should? Let's see.

Speaker 4 (05:41):
I mean, come on, he's ninety six, he's a bartender.
You know he's not going to be in the best
of moods.

Speaker 2 (05:45):
Come on, how much advice do you think you have
handed out over all of these years of serving folks?

Speaker 1 (05:52):
I like that.

Speaker 5 (05:53):
Listen, if you're going to slow up, go in a bathroom.

Speaker 2 (05:59):
That's good advice. That's great advice to see that. That's
wisdom right there.

Speaker 1 (06:04):
Do you mind if I ask you where do you
bartend at the age of ninety six in the city?
I gotta know, please, I mean, we got a lot
of people listening to us right now.

Speaker 4 (06:13):
I'm sure they're going to want to come over and experience.

Speaker 1 (06:16):
Don Ippy.

Speaker 5 (06:17):
I don't want to tell you where it were because
people come in here and I don't want a big
MESSI crowd, you know, coming in and interrupting.

Speaker 4 (06:27):
Well, you're on the radio right now, do you know? Yeah?

Speaker 8 (06:31):
I doesn't want you to combine Hollywood.

Speaker 9 (06:35):
I've never seen a bartender who doesn't want customers and
tips like you don't.

Speaker 2 (06:39):
I don't it sounds like he has his set customers.

Speaker 5 (06:42):
I don't want them. The owner wants them.

Speaker 4 (06:45):
Who is the owner of this place?

Speaker 1 (06:47):
Who the hell would hire him?

Speaker 5 (06:49):
My daughter owns this place?

Speaker 10 (06:51):
Oh oh, okay, I understand, okay, it's nice that she
hired her dad, isn't isn't that nice?

Speaker 5 (07:02):
I don't even know who you guys are? My daughter?
Put me up? They're calling you? Did?

Speaker 1 (07:10):

get this straight. You own the bar, that this ninety
six year old man works at my bar, and.

Speaker 11 (07:33):
That ninety six year old man is my father?

Speaker 1 (07:35):
Yes, we love it. Why is he calling.

Speaker 2 (07:40):
Us because I want a KTU Morning Crew T shirt?

Speaker 1 (07:44):
Oh okay, all right before hey, we're gonna give you
a kt Morning Crew T shirt. But let me ask
you something. How how are you still in business? All
your dad?

Speaker 2 (07:55):
Yeah, he's a little grumpy.

Speaker 11 (07:57):
Listen, because he's ninety six years old. He knows exactly
what people want.

Speaker 1 (08:00):
Yeah, exactly. You know, you know, this morning day has
just become.

Speaker 7 (08:11):
With Katu and a morning full of fun, all of

Speaker 1 (09:03):
All right. It's the Hollywood Hamilton Show and the K
two Morning Crew, Good morning crew, Yes, good. Gotta remind
everyone we got the listener feel good flashback of the
day coming up in a few right here at seven am,
Sam Smith, tickets at eight and all new, brand new,
riveting Fraud Friday, when we come to the rescue of
another listener that got totally ripped off and conned out

(09:26):
of a whole lot of money. I think it was
eight thousand dollars. Fraud Friday eight thirty wore the Roses
seven forty right here on the Hollywood ampt's by the way,
speaking of War of the Roses, Ye shoul we go
over that gang real quick over there?

Speaker 2 (09:41):

Speaker 1 (09:43):
About five months ago a listener called in and told
Marie and I that she married her husband way too
soon before she really got to know the guy right,
because she found out just after they got married that
he was in prison for attempted murder of an ex fiance.
Remember that one, Ri.

Speaker 2 (10:01):
Mmm, yes I do.

Speaker 4 (10:03):
That's quite a nugget, Yes it is.

Speaker 6 (10:09):
Well, I had issues in the past to where the
reason why I have a porlole officer.

Speaker 1 (10:14):
Why are you currently in violation of You violated your parole?

Speaker 4 (10:19):
So what's going on there? He well, he called your
cell phone.

Speaker 1 (10:25):
You left your cell phone at home a couple of
days ago, and you left for work, and she picked
up the phone and he spilt the beans.

Speaker 4 (10:32):
He told your wife everything.

Speaker 6 (10:37):
I was trying to explain.

Speaker 13 (10:38):
I'm sorry, How could you explain lying? How could you
explain beaten your ex fiance to an inch of her life?
How is any of that okay? And how is it
okay that you never let me know about it? And
on top of it, you were in prison for a
year and never let me know about it.

Speaker 1 (10:58):
Whoo the update of the riveting. You think that was
out of control, wait till you hear the update at
seven point forty war the Roses on the Hollywood Hamilton show,
the KT Morning Crew. So this great white shark gang
made its way up to our area.

Speaker 4 (11:14):
It was detected. You guys hear about this thirteen.

Speaker 2 (11:16):
Yes, I did. I saw that article.

Speaker 1 (11:20):
Sixteen hundred pounds, thirteen feet long, great white shark entered
into Atlantic City just under a week ago. This thing
they've been following since Florida for over a year, I think,
and now it's made its way up to our beaches.
Thank god it's winter. Yeah, Paul or whatever you want
to call what's happening right now.

Speaker 2 (11:41):
It's like a real life Jaws. Don't go in the.

Speaker 14 (11:43):
Water, right.

Speaker 1 (11:47):
Is that the case? Or you're not supposed to go
in the water.

Speaker 8 (11:49):
They're tracking this shark because he's deadly, because he's gonna
come for our shores.

Speaker 1 (11:54):
The reason why I bring it up is because surfers
they don't care. Surfers don't care.

Speaker 2 (11:59):
The waves are the crazy.

Speaker 1 (12:01):
Winter time is when the waves are the best here
in Jersey and uh and.

Speaker 3 (12:05):
The shark will swallow you in one bite.

Speaker 4 (12:07):
Wow, one bite.

Speaker 2 (12:08):
So heads up, surfers, I'd like to know how old
this shark is.

Speaker 4 (12:15):
Thirty two years old?

Speaker 1 (12:16):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (12:16):
How do you find out the age of a shark?

Speaker 4 (12:18):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (12:18):
We weren't invited to his birthday last year.

Speaker 4 (12:20):
You just made up that number thirty two.

Speaker 1 (12:23):
No, I did not. It's actually looking up a line.
Go ahead, gang, you have a Google people.

Speaker 2 (12:27):
Okay, all right. If they've been tracking home, they then they.

Speaker 1 (12:31):
Know how how old he is. This shark has traveled
in the last few months. Four thousand miles.

Speaker 2 (12:38):
That's crazy.

Speaker 1 (12:38):
That's how many times it's been ping. Wow, it's coming
from Florida on its way back up to Canada now.

Speaker 3 (12:45):
And by the way, by O search, O search came
up with the age. It's estimated about thirty two years old,
so Hollywood is correct.

Speaker 1 (12:51):
Thank you, Thank you very much. Asher, I appreciate you.
Back up on that. Murray constantly calls me a liar,
and I'm so glad.

Speaker 3 (13:00):
Not Sometimes we don't always believe everything you say, so
we have to just double check.

Speaker 1 (13:07):
All my surf friends out there, just be careful. This
thing is has approached our area. The Hollywood Hamilton Show
on the k T Morning Crew. We got Astra Entertainment
coming up in a minute, Astra, what do you got
coming up at seven?

Speaker 3 (13:19):
Well, Billie Eilis dropped something new that you might want
to get your hands on. Also, we're gonna talk about
the trailer for the live action Mauana movie.

Speaker 4 (13:26):
And what else do we have here?

Speaker 3 (13:28):
Oh, there's really cool things coming into the city that
I'm going to talk about, including a carousel right in midtown.

Speaker 1 (13:34):
Very cool. I also want to talk about The Hunger Games,
the new movie. Let's go over that a little bit.
Coming up at seven as well, right here on the
Hollywood Hamilton Show on the KTU Morning Crew, Let's not
forget about the feel good Flashback Track of the Day,
scheduled straight up seven o'clock w KTU Lake Success, New York.
What we're gonna do.

Speaker 7 (13:50):
Right here is go back, go back, go back, way back,
wait back, way back, wave back wait. Bet.

Speaker 1 (13:55):
It's quickly becoming a fan favorite listener feel good flashback
track of the Day, Cheryl crow All I want to do.
I love it when we get these non KTU songs
from listeners. I love that. This is definitely a feel
good nineteen ninety three. Who is recommending this marine?

Speaker 2 (14:12):
Stacy from Tribe Beca says, I want to hear this
song so bad. The minute I hear it, I'm transported
back to spring break with Katerina, Gabby and Melissa. We're
strutting around a Florida beach in our teeny bikinis until
Katerina strutted onto a jellyfish. I had to pee on

(14:35):
her foot while that song was playing.

Speaker 1 (14:40):
Oh, when you pee on a jellyfish, it disattaches itself.
It takes away the sting.

Speaker 2 (14:46):
Now, I can't get that image out of my head
every time I hear it.

Speaker 1 (14:51):
Stacy. Wow, love the story Listener, Feel good flashback track
of the day. Here you go, Stacy. Cheryl Crowe all,
I want to do disco? Well love you listen to Stacy.
Great recommendation right there, great selection on listener. Feel good
Flashback Track of the day, Cheryl crow All I want
to do nineteen ninety three. Let's go to Astra right

(15:13):
now for the flashback facts.

Speaker 3 (15:15):
It was Cheryl's breakthrough hit from her nineteen ninety three
debut album Tuesday Night Music Club and her biggest US hit,
winning her a Grammy in nineteen ninety five for Record
of the Year and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance. Cheryl
currently lives in Nashville, Tennessee, with her two adopted sons,
and is actively involved in local events and charity work.
Of course, she could find her on Instagram at Cheryl.

Speaker 1 (15:35):
Crow Nice Astra Hey. By the way, speaking of Astra
really quickly, I got to ask you about Glenn Close
in Hunger Games.

Speaker 3 (15:43):
Ooh yes, right, Oh my god. She is unrecognizable.

Speaker 1 (15:46):
She saw the trailer. I saw the trailer.

Speaker 3 (15:48):
Orange wig, bright red lipstick. She plays Drusilla Sickle, which
is this sinister character. And I don't know if you know,
but it's going to be coming out into theaters November
twentieth of twenty twenty six.

Speaker 2 (15:58):
She's an amazing actors, right, She's an amazing ass.

Speaker 3 (16:02):
Billie Eilish she dropped a new perfume yesterday called Your
Turn two. It's being described as a woody, fresh scent
that plays with the contrasts of light and dark pimento
berries and cassis leaves open into fig nectar, black tea
and vanilla orchid. And if you're interested, you could get
yours at Billie Eilish fragrances dot com.

Speaker 2 (16:19):
What does that all mean?

Speaker 1 (16:20):
It's a nice I don't know.

Speaker 2 (16:23):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (16:24):
Well, I guess you're gonna have to go buy a
bottle and find out.

Speaker 1 (16:28):
The trailer for the live action.

Speaker 3 (16:29):
Muana movie picked up one hundred and eighty two million
views in the first twenty four hours that it was up.
That movie's hitting theaters July tenth, twenty twenty six. Actor
Spencer Lofranco, who played John Gotti Junior in The Gotti Movie,
he sadly died at the age of thirty three, and
it was confirmed by his brother Santino in a heartbreaking
Instagram post yesterday. Now he said, in part, you lived

(16:50):
a life only some could dream of. You changed people's lives,
and now you're with God. According to TMZ, his death
is being investigated in British Columbia, Canada, and a cause
has not yet been determined.

Speaker 1 (17:01):
There's a double decker.

Speaker 3 (17:03):
Christmas carousel located on thirty third and Broadway, and starting today,
you're gonna be able to go first spin while listening
to some of your favorite Christmas carols. It's a first
of its kind attraction here in New York City. Rides
are seven dollars per person, which you can book online

(17:26):
returned to the Bronx Zoo for their seventh straight year.
It's open four thirty till nine pm every Friday through
Sunday until January fourth.

Speaker 1 (17:33):
And that is the dirt to Diash love it dirt today,
She's asked her she'll be back at the eight o'clock
hour right here top of the eight with the Hollywood
Hamilton Show, the gate t Morning Crew. So this listener
called us about five months ago, told us that she
married her husband way too soon before she really got
to know him, because she found out that he had
just gotten out of prison after she married the guy
for a tempted murder of another ex fiancee and he

(17:57):
never told her remember that one.

Speaker 2 (17:59):
Marie, mmm mmm, yes, I do.

Speaker 1 (18:02):
Well, We've got the update on that one coming up.
Let's uh, let's play a little piece of that coming
up next right here on Kate to You Sam Smith
tickets at eight and an all new Fraud Friday at
eight thirty be right back one O three five K
T you to beat him New York. It's Hollywood Hamilton
Show on the K to your morning crew if if
you didn't know or you didn't hear us talk about it.
Last week Anthony and Astra they attended what's called the Fields.

(18:28):
It's where people all come together and they they're in
a softly dimly lit room, very tastefully hugging it out
and touching other people and basically feeling another human being
to see if if you feel it. And that's why
it's called the field. It's a brand new way to
date people. And last night I'm gonna begin I'm gonna
begin with you, Astra. Last night, how did this thing go?

Speaker 2 (18:51):
It was quite interesting.

Speaker 3 (18:52):
So we all stand in a circle and she goes
around asking us our name and a word that describes
how you feel at that very moment, So we all
take that time to do that. Then we had to
lay down on the ground in this circle, shoulder to shoulder,
closing our eyes, and then we had to put our
hands out and hold hands with the people next to us.
And it was pretty interesting because of course I had

(19:13):
to do a little creep shot. I know, I sent
you that video you see Anthony laying is one.

Speaker 1 (19:18):
Guy, Anthony right there lying down between.

Speaker 3 (19:21):
He was between a man and another woman. So he's
holding the woman and I was holding that man's hand.

Speaker 1 (19:26):
Oh okay. So basically the concept is human beings all
coming together and respectfully and of course tastefully touching each
other and seeing if they can feel the spark right,
the human contact.

Speaker 2 (19:40):
Right.

Speaker 3 (19:41):
Yeah, it's breathing, so you get in sync with your breath,
a whole lot of breathing.

Speaker 4 (19:45):
Anthony, tell us, how how'd you feel about this whole thing?

Speaker 9 (19:48):
I mean, I was skeptical and I was nervous in
the beginning, but it kind of I don't know. As
the night went on, it wasn't too bad. The best
part about the whole thing was the fact that they
gave you questions, right things to answer for each other.

Speaker 4 (19:59):
How did they pair you two up?

Speaker 1 (20:01):
How did that appen?

Speaker 9 (20:02):
The first one was like a random It was whoever
was standing next to you in the circle, so I
had the person next to me. The second one is
the guy choose, third time was the woman chose. And
the fourth time was like you kind of mutually kind
of picked each other.

Speaker 1 (20:16):
I guess you get any numbers, Anthony, you get any
numbers or anything? How did this sound? Girl number three?

Speaker 6 (20:23):
Number?

Speaker 1 (20:24):
Girl number three? Because she chose me.

Speaker 4 (20:26):
I was like, all right, this is cool.

Speaker 9 (20:27):
And then like we vibed a little bit, but I
didn't get her name, which is so annoying.

Speaker 3 (20:32):
See that was so bad on your part, Anthony, because
I'll tell you right now, Guy number one, two and
four all got my Instagram.

Speaker 2 (20:38):
So we exchanged instagrams.

Speaker 1 (20:39):
O good, of course, of course.

Speaker 4 (20:42):
I mean there was somebody there wealthy enough for you, Marie.

Speaker 1 (20:48):
Why didn't you go? Marie? This would have been great
for you.

Speaker 2 (20:51):
I'm not doing the touching thing. I'm not touching anybody.
No one's touching me unless I really know you will.

Speaker 3 (20:57):
But Marie, the sitting one wasn't bad because you're back
to back and then the woman leans forward and the
man's leaning back on you, and then you you take
turns and switch, so then the man leads forward and
you're leaning back as your bodies are bending like this.
It kind of what it was like a meditation, yoga vulnerability.

Speaker 2 (21:12):
Type of thing.

Speaker 1 (21:13):
All right. So it's called the fields a new way,
like we talked about a new way to meet people.

Speaker 4 (21:17):
Would you recommend the fields to something? Definitely would.

Speaker 3 (21:20):
And the reason why I say that is because I
am on the dating apps and it's so one dimensional,
so you never really get to know how a person's
I guess personality is. So for me, it's like, you know,
you're able to talk to this person. You have to
give compliments to one another.

Speaker 2 (21:33):
You get to feel their energy is what is what
you're saying, right, because you don't feel someone's energy on
a tender app or a match dot com.

Speaker 9 (21:42):
The whole compliment thing was hard too, because I was
trying not to compliment a physical that's always what you do.

Speaker 4 (21:48):
So I mean you really can't go, oh you got
nice boobs? Yeah, I would imagine that would be Anthony.

Speaker 2 (21:55):
Actually a lovely smile maybe.

Speaker 1 (21:59):
Okay, So this is basically a classier way of speed dating, yes, right,
because it's not small talk.

Speaker 3 (22:06):
It's deeper than that. So it is really the feels.
It's how you feel.

Speaker 1 (22:09):
I like that if you think this is something that
might interest you, uh, of course, it's over on our
Instagram and you'll see the caption right there that feels
how to get a hold of this company or whatever
it is, And.

Speaker 2 (22:19):
Uh, catch dot co.

Speaker 1 (22:21):
There it is catch the Fields dot co. And if
one of the Roses next. The Hollywood handled the show
on the k T Morning Crew.

Speaker 4 (22:31):
Big hand for Taylor Swift for that intro.

Speaker 1 (22:33):
Did you guys hear that?

Speaker 10 (22:34):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (22:35):
That was able?

Speaker 1 (22:37):
Wow right, it was so nice of her. Has not
done that for any other radio station, just or any
other morning.

Speaker 4 (22:42):
Show, just us.

Speaker 1 (22:43):
And thank you Taylor Swift that she loves you. So
we're the Roses coming up next. And uh, let me
give you a brief description of what this madness is
all about. A listener called us about five months ago
we got the update on this woman. She called us
telling us that she married her husband way, way too soon,
because it wasn't until after she married the guy when

(23:03):
she found out that he was in prison for attempted
murder of his ex fiance. Crazy.

Speaker 6 (23:12):
Well, I had issues in the past to where the
reason why I have a poole officer?

Speaker 1 (23:18):
Why are you currently in violation of You violated your parole?

Speaker 4 (23:23):
So what's going on there? He Well, he called your
cell phone.

Speaker 1 (23:28):
You left your cell phone at home a couple of
days ago and you left for work, and she picked
up the phone and he spilt the beans.

Speaker 4 (23:36):
He told your wife everything.

Speaker 13 (23:40):
I can explain, I'm sorry, How could you explain lying?
How could you explain beaten your ex fiance to an
inch of her life? How is any of that okay?
And how is it okay that you never let me
know about it? And on top of it, you were
in prison for a year and never let me know

(24:01):
about it.

Speaker 12 (24:01):
Wait to hear the update on this next on KTU
and now The Hollywood Hamilton Show and the KTU Morning
Crew presents War of the Roses.

Speaker 1 (24:12):
Hey, you need help with your divorce? Called the official
divorce attorney of Ward Roses, Vicky Ziegler. Get the answers
you need at Ziegler Law Group LLC dot com. Are

after the call, Here we go. I got Patricia on
the phone with us right now.

Speaker 2 (24:29):

So read the letter, Patricia, I read the letter.

Speaker 1 (24:34):
Tell everyone, tell our audience, Tell Marie, what's going on
with yourself?

Speaker 13 (24:38):
I found out something about my husband that I didn't know. Okay, sadly,
I didn't get to know my husband before I married him.
I only knew him six months. And I think I
made a mistake.

Speaker 2 (24:52):
Why why do you feel this way?

Speaker 13 (24:55):
Well, when my husband went to work, he left his
phone behind and it was ringing. I picked it up
and it was his parole officer. I didn't know he
had been in prison.

Speaker 1 (25:07):
Letter, keep going, there's more. Oh god, yes, So.

Speaker 13 (25:10):
I found from the parole officer that he skipped his
parole meeting and he was in prison for attempting to
murder his ex fiance.

Speaker 1 (25:23):
Went to prison. How long did he spend in prison?

Speaker 13 (25:26):
Only one year?

Speaker 1 (25:28):
Oh yeah, there must have been technicalities or something, because
that doesn't sound right, but there was.

Speaker 13 (25:32):
That's just ourg judicial system screwing up like usual.

Speaker 2 (25:36):
Okay, I am so sorry, Patricia.

Speaker 1 (25:39):
All right. So, but he hasn't been abusive to you,
according to the letter, and you were on the phone
Anthony yesterday, Anthony did the pre interview. He's been actually fine.
Actually he just lied to you and you want to
get down to the bottom of it.

Speaker 13 (25:51):
And he's being dishonest about his past, which is.

Speaker 2 (25:56):
Okay, right on the line.

Speaker 1 (26:00):
Let's get them on the phone. Here we go, Here
we go.

Speaker 2 (26:14):

of your social media talk about how great we are,
that kind of thing, like you're an influencer. You know
about those influencers.

Speaker 6 (27:19):
I'm as well sending to my wife.

Speaker 2 (27:20):
Oh you're married, Yeah, excellent. What's her name?

Speaker 6 (27:26):

Speaker 2 (27:26):

Speaker 2 (27:48):
Docile, that's for sure. I mean just you know, subdued.

Speaker 1 (27:51):
Yeah, very gentleman, very gentleman.

Speaker 2 (27:54):
Doesn't seem like a violent individual.

Speaker 1 (27:56):

What's happening here?

Speaker 1 (27:59):
We's going it's uh, it's it's just a radio station,
cal and give us a second. Doesn't he sound like us?

Speaker 2 (28:05):
Doesn't sound like a mean guy, but there is something
in his voice.

Speaker 6 (28:10):
Hello, going on here?

Speaker 1 (28:13):
Well, my name is Sean Hamilton. I'm with a radio
station here in the city called w k TU Radio.
I do this thing called War of the Roses, very
popular segment here on the radio. And Marie isn't with
a rose company. She's not with Redroses dot Com. She's
with KTU Radio.

Speaker 5 (28:29):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (28:29):
In a minute, we're going to offer you an incentive
in order to hear us out. If you don't want
to be on the radio, we can't air it. So
you might as well hear it us out because your
wife has some issues. Because your wife has just found
out something about you which is pretty crazy. Hmm. Really yeah, Patricia,

(28:52):
you want to come on the.

Speaker 13 (28:52):
Air with us, you can start and again get it going.
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (28:58):
Okay, Andy, your i'fe discovered you have a parole officer.
We'll start there. Would you like to explain to Patricia
why you have a parole officer?

Speaker 13 (29:12):
Uh?

Speaker 6 (29:13):
Well, I had issues in the past to where the
reason why I have a parole officer. It was a
little domestic dispute.

Speaker 1 (29:24):
Why are you currently in violation of You violated your parole?

Speaker 4 (29:29):
So what's going on there? He well, he called your
cell phone.

Speaker 1 (29:35):
You left your cell phone at home a couple of
days ago and you left for work, and she picked
up the phone and he spilt the beans.

Speaker 4 (29:42):
He told your wife everything.

Speaker 6 (29:47):
I can to explain. Oh, I'm sorry.

Speaker 13 (29:53):
How could you explain lying? How could you explain beating
your ex fiance to an int her life? How is
any of that okay? And how is it okay that
you never let me know about it? And on top
of it, you were in prison for a year and
never let me know about it.

Speaker 6 (30:12):
I can explain. I didn't mean to hurt you. That
wasn't my attent. And I saw you, I fell in
love with you, and that was my past. And she
provoked me.

Speaker 13 (30:22):
And what happens if we get in the fight and
I provoked you unknowingly.

Speaker 6 (30:26):
I will never do that to you. Well, I can't
care too much about you.

Speaker 13 (30:32):
I can't trust that.

Speaker 4 (30:36):
This is going to be a tough one to get
out of there. I am changed, but that's the change
line ain't gonna work.

Speaker 6 (30:43):
The depths of my heart. I care about you so much.
I would never do anything like that to hurt you.
I'm sorry. I didn't mention it because I want to
leave it in the past. I was going to tell
you as time go on, but I didn't feel it
wasn't right just just yet to tell you.

Speaker 2 (31:00):
I don't know. I don't know. I think because you
were not honest upfront, you have violated your parole. You
haven't explained that. Really, you haven't explained that.

Speaker 6 (31:11):
I don't want to lose you.

Speaker 13 (31:13):
I'm sorry, Andy, I cannot I've been married before. You're
my second marriage. I cannot trust you. I don't feel
comfortable with you, and I value my life too much
to be looking behind.

Speaker 2 (31:28):
Me all her time.

Speaker 1 (31:29):
All right, so you're going to get an annulment?

Speaker 4 (31:30):
Is that what's happening here?

Speaker 5 (31:32):
Correct?

Speaker 4 (31:33):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (31:33):
All right? All right?

Speaker 4 (31:35):
Wow war the roses. I guess that's the end.

Speaker 1 (31:37):
K to you wore the roses. But wait, not so fast, Skippy,
not so fast.

Speaker 4 (31:42):
Last night we tried to get him on the phone.

Speaker 1 (31:44):
He wouldn't come to the phone, but we got Even
though she was a woman of very few words, she
did hop on the phone with us last night for
the five month updates. She took him back. She agreed
to give him one chance and one chance only. When
I tell you, I heard the tone in her voice,
it's gonna be one chance and one chance only.

Speaker 4 (32:05):
Hopefully she made the right decision. She's gonna keep him
until he basically screws up.

Speaker 1 (32:10):
And she says, so far, after five months, everything has
been fine.

Speaker 4 (32:15):
So there's your update on War of the Roses.

Speaker 1 (32:17):
A brand new, all new War to Roses this Monday,
kt you, I gotta.

Speaker 7 (32:21):
Be tears in another winner.

Speaker 1 (32:24):
It was Hollywood, Hamilton and the KTU Morning Crew. Get
your lying.

Speaker 3 (32:28):
Why do I sound like I would lie to you?

Speaker 1 (32:30):
I can't believe it. I've never ever won anything in
my life ever.

Speaker 2 (32:33):
Well, listen, there's always the first time for everything.

Speaker 13 (32:35):
Right Yeah, Oh my goodness, I can't even.

Speaker 14 (32:38):
Believe right with that, I'm dreaming right now.

Speaker 1 (32:40):
Believe it, my friend? What's your name?

Speaker 2 (32:41):
And where you're from, Andrew Muhammad Island.

Speaker 1 (32:44):
All right, well you're going.

Speaker 3 (32:45):
To see Sam Smith at the Warsaw in Brooklyn on
Thanksgiving Eve, November twenty sixth Oh my god, I.

Speaker 14 (32:50):
Though him when he came to the Garden I think
like two years ago, and he was amazing.

Speaker 1 (32:54):
Woo.

Speaker 3 (32:55):
Now you're gonna get to see Sam again.

Speaker 2 (32:57):
It's gonna be incredible.

Speaker 14 (32:59):
Oh god, can't wait.

Speaker 2 (33:00):
Best holiday?

Speaker 10 (33:02):
You know it.

Speaker 3 (33:03):
Well, if you need any more tickets, grab them over.
I take amaster dot com. But go ahead and tell
everybody who just made your whole entire holiday season.

Speaker 14 (33:10):
Three five the greatest station in the walm.

Speaker 5 (33:12):
Let's go, everybody.

Speaker 15 (33:16):
You are about to hear a feature that was created
to expose the scammers, thieves, and con artists among us.
The dialogue and temperament about to be used by Hollywood
Hamilton does not necessarily reflect the views and opinions of iHeartMedia.
This is fraud Friday.

Speaker 1 (33:34):
Lay it out for us. What do we got this week?

Speaker 16 (33:36):
You know, it's really awful when people are trying to
raise money for their community and then encounter criminals, thieves
and scammers and get ripped off with something as wholesome
as bingo. And that's what happened to Betty.

Speaker 1 (33:49):
All right, Well we got Betty from Bloomfield, New Jersey.
On that Betty you there, Yes, I'm here, Thank you.
Betty was running a bingo fundraiser. Tell us all but
about what you what was it all for? What was
it all for?

Speaker 7 (34:03):
Sure?

Speaker 11 (34:03):
Thank you? I appreciate you having me on. Well, we
were raising money for our community center. We fell into disrepair,
and so we decided on a bingo event. We had
never done it before, and we thought it would be
a nice way to bring the community together in a
fun way.

Speaker 1 (34:19):
What happened? So you hired a firm a bingo what
is this? A bingo outfit that comes in they facilitate
the entire operation for it.

Speaker 11 (34:27):
Yeah, they said they take care of everything, which was
great because we didn't wear a small community center. You know,
we didn't know how to go about it. And they
said they'd do everything from getting the licenses and the
permits and what have you, and then we'd also have
to get all the supplies because there's a lot of things,
you know, the cards and the and the little daubers
to mark and all of that. They said they take

(34:49):
care of everything.

Speaker 1 (34:50):
You You thought they went out and got the permits,
when in actuality, they didn't even do that for you.

Speaker 11 (34:57):
No, well, that's where we're having this here problem, Like
we're going to get into trouble for doing something that
we didn't know. Like, you got to trust somebody, and
we trusted them.

Speaker 2 (35:07):
Where did you find these guys?

Speaker 11 (35:09):
Like?

Speaker 2 (35:09):
Were they a referral from another community center that?

Speaker 11 (35:13):
Well, to be honest, we looked on craigslist.

Speaker 8 (35:16):
Okay, all right, and there are plenty of firms that
do this that are very legitimate and they are bingo
party companies and they put on these games and they
have the callers and it's wonderful.

Speaker 1 (35:27):
These were just bad actors.

Speaker 11 (35:29):
You know, they seemed to know what they were doing.
I mean like they showed up, the equipment was there,
we had a lot of people there and you know
we were we.

Speaker 1 (35:36):
Were doing that people. Bet how many people showed up
that we.

Speaker 11 (35:39):
Need to know that we had like four hundred people?

Speaker 1 (35:42):
Four whoa turnout? Good for you?

Speaker 11 (35:47):
Yeah? I know we figured we figured everybody spent about
forty five dollars. Now that's between their cards, right, because
everybody wants to increase their chances. So they bought a
couple of cards, and there were other people who bought
as many as eight cards, and of course they bought
the doubers to keep track. So it was a lot
of people and a lot of money changing hands. Wow,

(36:10):
they said it would take a couple of weeks to
pay out to us.

Speaker 1 (36:13):
Okay, so what's the name of the company? Who are
we calling here?

Speaker 11 (36:16):
The name of the company is being street pros.

Speaker 1 (36:19):
This company is still picking up your phone call.

Speaker 11 (36:22):
Oh yeah, he answers the phone or you'll call back.
But he's very vague, and he keeps saying, based on
our calculations, it's a little over two thousand.

Speaker 1 (36:31):
Dollars with almost four hundred people that are ten.

Speaker 4 (36:34):
Yeah, this guy's ripping are off two grand.

Speaker 2 (36:38):
That's just not even believable.

Speaker 11 (36:41):
So yeah, I know he keeps insisting it's only two
thousand dollars, and I know that there's got to be more.
And yeah, okay, and I need your help.

Speaker 1 (36:51):
What's his name?

Speaker 4 (36:51):
What's his name?

Speaker 7 (36:53):
Gino?

Speaker 1 (36:54):
All right, Gino? Is there anything you could tell us?
Because Marie and I are gonna go in heavy. We're
gonna go hard. That's what we do when we get
I'm gonna play a private investigator. Is there anything that
stands out in your mind while doing business with this guy?
License play?

Speaker 4 (37:07):
What was Did he have vans?

Speaker 1 (37:08):
Did he have trucks? Did he roll up with? Who
were his employees? I just knew a little bit about him.

Speaker 2 (37:15):
Anything that stands out that you noticed, Well, you.

Speaker 11 (37:18):
Know, he showed up in like one of those dark
vans and it had, you know, the nice Bingo name
on the on the side of it. It was very colorful.
And he brought his daughter.

Speaker 1 (37:31):
He bought his daughter.

Speaker 11 (37:33):
Yeah, she like she was probably like a in a
twenty something.

Speaker 4 (37:38):
Okay, okay, gotcha, okay, excellent, All right, are you ready?

Speaker 1 (37:41):
Here we go. Remember we're not on the radio. I'm
going to be a private investigator. Marie's going to play
a character as well. At no time do you reference
us as being on the radio.

Speaker 14 (37:52):
Okay, got it, got it?

Speaker 1 (37:54):
All right, Here we go, Here we go.

Speaker 4 (37:56):
Coming up next, Part two, Froud Friday the Bingo Scame.

Speaker 15 (38:03):
Welcome back for part two for this week's Fraud Friday.

Speaker 2 (38:14):
Oh hello, hello, Yeah, I'm sorry, I think I have
the wrong number. I was calling for Bingo.

Speaker 14 (38:23):
It is maybe I missed So this is going to
help you tonight.

Speaker 2 (38:29):
Who am I speaking with?

Speaker 14 (38:31):
Gino?

Speaker 2 (38:33):
Hi, Gino. My name is Marie, and we're wanting to
do a bingo night. We're hoping that you might be
able to help us, but we're wanting to do a
little different bengo, maybe some sort of provocative bingo night.

Speaker 5 (38:49):
Uh what you know?

Speaker 14 (38:52):
What do you mean provocative?

Speaker 2 (38:54):
Well, you know it's more of an adult bingo. Are
you speaking my life or are you getting on?

Speaker 14 (39:01):
I'm saying, you know, hello, I'm not sure I mean
for adults. Yes, yes we do. What are you looking
for exactly?

Speaker 2 (39:12):
Can you explain to me how the bingo works.

Speaker 14 (39:18):
Well, we set up everything, we handle everything, and we
bring it the equipment, we bring the tumbling, we bring
all the registers and everything you need, soup, the nuts,
so we handle the whole situation. What are you looking
for here?

Speaker 13 (39:28):
Number wise, we're hoping.

Speaker 2 (39:30):
For one hundred and fifty people, you know, one hundred
and fifty chwanging folks.

Speaker 14 (39:39):
I don't understand this is a charity event.

Speaker 2 (39:42):
Think of it like playing poker, but will be not
with cards. We'll be doing bingo cards.

Speaker 1 (39:48):
Nice, It'll be fun.

Speaker 2 (39:50):
Well, we'd like to book you and how much do
you need upfront?

Speaker 14 (39:54):
Okay to hold that spot, I'm going to need a
thousand dollars deposits five hundred, which is non refundable.

Speaker 1 (40:00):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (40:00):
Uh. One last question? What about liquor?

Speaker 6 (40:05):
Uh?

Speaker 14 (40:06):
What about liquor?

Speaker 2 (40:07):
Can you do that?

Speaker 10 (40:08):
Will you?

Speaker 5 (40:10):
Or do we?

Speaker 14 (40:10):
We could?

Speaker 1 (40:11):
Uh?

Speaker 14 (40:11):
We can handle? Are you looking at beer and wine?

Speaker 2 (40:15):
It's adult Bengo, Gino, I think we're gonna have to
have a little something harder than just beer and wine.

Speaker 14 (40:25):
Oh uh, whiskey, yeah.

Speaker 2 (40:29):
Yes, bringing on, Yes, you know, I.

Speaker 1 (40:34):
Really don't know how to break it to Gino. There, Marie, Samantha,
you might want to come in on this. Uh no,
that's that's bottom line right there, he's serving.

Speaker 4 (40:44):
That's that's probably so many lines here.

Speaker 1 (40:46):
I don't even know where to be getting.

Speaker 4 (40:49):
All right, it's Betty, Betty, are you on the line, Betty?

Speaker 1 (40:50):
Are you there?

Speaker 6 (40:52):
I can hear you, Betty.

Speaker 1 (40:53):
Can you identify this man's voice? Is this the man
you've been dealing with? This, Geno?

Speaker 4 (40:57):
Is this the voice that has stolen from you? Allegedly?

Speaker 5 (41:01):
It sounds like him?

Speaker 1 (41:02):
All right, Geno, listen to me.

Speaker 4 (41:03):
My name's Sean Hamilton.

Speaker 1 (41:05):
I'm a private investigator in Newark, and Marie works with
the company here, and I've got some anthem I assistant
on the phone with us right now. Betty is a
client of ours and she's got some questions of it
seems like there's some illegal activity going on here and
she can't seem to the numbers aren't adding up, and
it seems like you owe her some money. Sure does, Betty,
Why don't you familiarize him with you? Go ahead?

Speaker 11 (41:28):
Yeah, we had like three hundred some close to four
hundred people there and we're calling your office and you're
telling us that we're only going.

Speaker 14 (41:35):
To get two thousand dollars.

Speaker 11 (41:37):
Well, by our calculations, we're like eighteen thousand dollars. Something's
not right.

Speaker 14 (41:41):
What's going on? I don't appreciate being ambushed and I know, Okay,
well talk well we can do that.

Speaker 1 (41:47):
Hey, listen, listen to me. You're crossing line on a felony.
You just admitted to selling liquor.

Speaker 2 (41:53):
Yeah now he isn't.

Speaker 1 (41:55):
One, you said, no problem. Okay, that's besides the point.
We have Betty on the phone right now. Betty, I
want you to tell him right now what you think
he owes you.

Speaker 11 (42:05):
