Speaker 1 (00:00):
After a two week break. Some called it the worst
two weeks of their lives.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
I haven't.

Speaker 1 (00:05):
I'm not sure who, but I'm sure there's one person
out there. We are back with the I'm Still Fun podcast,
and as promised, did we promise? Did we tell anyone
we were bringing Tina in today?

Speaker 3 (00:15):
We mentioned something about Tina, so we should We said
we bring her on at some point at the wedding,
but we also didn't anticipate taking two weeks off.

Speaker 4 (00:22):
Tina's here, So yeah.

Speaker 1 (00:25):
Real quick, before Tina dives into all the questions we
have for her, just prepared question.

Speaker 4 (00:31):
No, they're going to be off the top my head.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
Obviously.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
Yeah, some people were asking for updates, obvious for obvious reasons.
We did not end up having our podcast live podcast
event last week, and we would have had to start
promoting that like two weeks ago, and to be honest,
it obviously felt highly insensitive to start promoting an event
with everything going on, So we have pushed it back.

(00:54):
Don't worry a lot. We're like, wait, is this still happening?
We've pushed it back to the new tent. I'm allegedly
it's confirmed, right, So unless something crazy happens Friday, March
twenty seventh.

Speaker 3 (01:07):
I am nervous that we're going to find out it's
March twenty eighth this week, But regardless, it's going to
happen that week, which I.

Speaker 1 (01:14):
Know is going to also be frustrating for some people
because that is spring break for a lot of people.
But you know, sorry, we as far as I know
right now, I believe we're looking at the Roseville location
of Top ten Liquors. And obviously, since the Friday, the
earliest I'd be able to get over there is like

(01:35):
close to six, so I think it'll start in that neighborhood.

Speaker 4 (01:39):
Yeah, so you didn't miss it.

Speaker 3 (01:40):
I got lots of messages founded to being like I'm sorry,
did I miss it? Like are you guys having your podcast?
And I'm like, you didn't miss anything. No, things just
got moved around.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
So we rewind to a week ago to Tina's second wedding.

Speaker 4 (01:55):
Oh my god, was it better than the first? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (02:00):
Okay, okay, So let's start off with why you decided
to have your wedding in the Dominican Republic.

Speaker 4 (02:08):
Let's go start with that.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
Because a lot of people they go back and forth
on a destination wedding.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
So I have like.

Speaker 5 (02:15):
Pretty much always wanted a destination wedding. My photographer Tony,
who you guys met, she's lovely. She I used to
coach dance with her and she had a destination wedding
way back in the day. So she was actually the
first person who ever kind of convinced me of it,
because she talked about how awesome it was to just
have all your people there when you have a destination wedding,

(02:36):
kind of only like the people.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
That love you the most are gonna come, so you
have like your tightest group of people.

Speaker 5 (02:42):
And then she talked a lot about how you get
those couple of days before the wedding to mingle with
people otherwise, like you guys got to mingle with some
of my other friends and family and stuff, and then
come the wedding day, you've already talked to the people,
you've already done all this stuff, and you just get
to have a great day. And I've been to a
couple of destination weddings and I found all that to

(03:04):
be true, and so that was kind of the only
thing I wanted for mind. I just wanted a fun
day with fun people where I could just have a
grand old time.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
Looking back at your wedding, was there anything that went
not how you had hoped? Because we don't know, like
most of the time, you like, we don't know what
you had planned? Like we so is there anything that
you would have done different or that did not.

Speaker 4 (03:27):
Go according to plan?

Speaker 2 (03:28):
I lost my spanks, I remember that tough. That was
probably the only thing that went wrong. Lost my spanks.

Speaker 4 (03:34):
Everyone was looking for them.

Speaker 2 (03:35):
I found them. Where were they?

Speaker 5 (03:37):
The underwear drawer in the underwear drawer I had prepared
in the hotel room. So when deb Range packed up
my stuff, she I was getting my hair done, so
I wasn't looking. I was kind of giving her directions
behind me, and I thought I had put the bag
of spanks by all the other wedding things, and I
was like, grab this, grab this, and she goes, oh,
there's this other bag.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
It looks like underwear. And I'm like, that's the spanks.
Put it in.

Speaker 5 (04:00):
She told me she put it in the bag, never
touched them. And the underwear drawer the whole it's fine.

Speaker 4 (04:05):
Like the underwear drawer in your hotel room.

Speaker 2 (04:08):
Yeah, the drawer that I had designated for.

Speaker 3 (04:10):
Okay, because a lot of people don't unpack, so I
just wanted up. I was there, I understand.

Speaker 4 (04:14):
I didn't at all.

Speaker 5 (04:15):
No, it was a drawer in the hotel that I
had designated for underwear in Puntakan.

Speaker 2 (04:20):
It was there the whole time, but I found it.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
It was fine, but not until after the wedding. Yeah,
I just had swass you couldn't.

Speaker 2 (04:27):
See it, thank you.

Speaker 4 (04:28):
Oh, I didn't notice.

Speaker 5 (04:29):
Every time I could like sit down, there's like pool
chairs everywhere. I just lifted my dress pretty much all
the way up and.

Speaker 4 (04:34):
Took a sit, good for you, and air it out.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
I did air it out. It was nice, so pretty
much only that.

Speaker 5 (04:38):
The only thing that I honestly didn't have control over
was I think by the time I booked the wedding,
we could only have our that restaurant that I had
the reception at, it was only available on Thursday, the
Friday and the Saturday must have been taken. And there's
that beach party that we all attended. Jenny definitely attended.

Speaker 2 (04:59):
Yeah, beach party was going to happen no matter what.

Speaker 5 (05:02):
So our reception had to be done by ten because
that's when the beach party started.

Speaker 4 (05:06):
Oh, I kind of just assumed that that was a
resort thing. I kind of thought.

Speaker 5 (05:10):
But then another couple had their wedding on Saturday and
their reception went till like midnight, and I did Trevor
and I after dinner, we were like sitting out by
the pool and I was just like death glaring the resort, like, yeah,
you guys, my wedding looked way cooler than there.

Speaker 2 (05:27):
Oh, it's totally fine.

Speaker 5 (05:28):
But that was the only bummer. I was at the
reception for like thirty minutes.

Speaker 2 (05:32):
Yeah, the dance.

Speaker 4 (05:33):
Part, I should say, do you want to explain why
that was.

Speaker 5 (05:36):
Well other than the fact that, like I just said,
it had to be over by ten and I don't
think our dancing started until nine. I left the reception
for about it was only about twenty minutes.

Speaker 2 (05:48):
It wasn't very long. But I chopped off all my hair.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
Yeah, A lot of people were like, wait, did she
take extensions out?

Speaker 4 (05:55):
What did she do?

Speaker 5 (05:55):
I did take extensions out, but my hair underneath that
I still a good like seven inches off.

Speaker 1 (06:01):
But then there were also people who were like, did
she just take scissors to her own hair or what?

Speaker 4 (06:04):
And I said no, her hair stylist was there.

Speaker 1 (06:07):
Then someone commented, oh my god, how expensive is that
to bring your hairstylist, And I was like, I think
it's just the cost of you pay for their resort trip,
their trip.

Speaker 2 (06:15):
Yeah, I just paid for his room in his flight.
But yeah, I would never do that to myself.

Speaker 4 (06:20):
You crazy, well people do it. You have a moment
of weakness.

Speaker 1 (06:24):
And you do it.

Speaker 2 (06:24):
I would just it would look awful.

Speaker 5 (06:26):
Yes I would do it, but it would be tough
in the back, it would be. But yeah, I cut
it all off and I felt great.

Speaker 4 (06:32):
Yeah it looks great.

Speaker 2 (06:33):
Thank you people.

Speaker 4 (06:35):
So many people not so many.

Speaker 3 (06:37):
I don't want to exactly, but like a handful of
dms came in and asked the question of if you
chopped your hair and went I said, yeah, everyone's like iconic.

Speaker 5 (06:45):
ICs, guys, It wasn't. I didn't really, it wasn't trying
to be iconic.

Speaker 2 (06:48):
I just really wanted to cut off all my hair.

Speaker 1 (06:51):
Well, I think a lot of people haven't seen that.
That is like a thing that people are doing. It's
not like a huge trend, but it's a trend I've seen,
like other brides online do it because like usually you
grow your hair out for your wedding, like you do
all these things and then you cut it at the reception.

Speaker 4 (07:06):
There's no like reason.

Speaker 1 (07:07):
It's just like almost like how a light people change
their outfit between the wedding.

Speaker 5 (07:11):
And I really wanted to chop my hair off last summer.

Speaker 2 (07:15):
Bob's were chic, they were cool.

Speaker 5 (07:16):
I wanted to cut it, but I was like, I'm
gonna cut it, and then I'm not gonna want this
bob to get married in and then I don't want
to have to It takes like a year and a
half to grow it back out, So then I just said,
I'll just wait and I'll chop it there.

Speaker 2 (07:30):
So I've been planning on doing this for like a year.

Speaker 1 (07:32):
What were your highlights your favorite parts of the obviously.

Speaker 2 (07:39):
My personal camera crew.

Speaker 5 (07:43):
I mean, the whole weekend was just really fine. I
said to Trevor afterwards. I've always heard people say like
their wedding is the best day of their life, and
I was always like, I don't know about that, And
to me, there was something about that.

Speaker 2 (07:56):
Saying that felt very like self absorbed.

Speaker 5 (08:00):
It was the best day of their lives because everyone
was looking at them, which maybe that is and maybe
that's awesome.

Speaker 2 (08:05):
I don't like people looking at me.

Speaker 5 (08:07):
But I realized afterwards it was the best day of
our lives because it's the only day probably ever all
of our people will be together, and that I don't
even think I realized until you guys all left on Saturday.
And then I would go to the buffet and I'd
see someone.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
I was like, oh, my god, it's Jenny. And then
I'm like, no, it's not Jenny.

Speaker 4 (08:25):
She left.

Speaker 2 (08:26):
And that kept happening over and over and over again,
and then I was like, oh dang.

Speaker 5 (08:31):
That really was just like the best thing ever to
have everybody there, and I think everything went really well
and smooth, and it did. I don't feel like things
went wrong other than the amount of sun during the ceremony.

Speaker 4 (08:42):
That was tough for family and.

Speaker 1 (08:43):
Trevor sing me a little bit, but he said, I
was trying to shake it a little bit.

Speaker 4 (08:49):
It was nice.

Speaker 1 (08:50):
Do you.

Speaker 4 (08:52):
What was I gonna? Oh, do you want to did anything.

Speaker 1 (08:55):
Happen and the end of the night that would lead
you to have a memorable experience?

Speaker 5 (09:00):
And yeah, yeah, so well we did have a friend.

Speaker 2 (09:06):
At the end of the night, all the boys jumped
into the pool.

Speaker 4 (09:09):
Yeah, that was fun.

Speaker 2 (09:10):
It was fun.

Speaker 4 (09:11):
I don't, I can't.

Speaker 1 (09:12):
I can't say it, but I will say I knew
Jenny was drunk when that happened.

Speaker 4 (09:18):
Did you tell her what I said? No, I don't know,
want me to say it on the podcast.

Speaker 1 (09:22):
I didn't think she yelled out something when all when
Trevor and all of his friends jumped in the pool
and Jake laughs so hard that I was gonna ship
himself and I and I go, all right, she's drunk.

Speaker 4 (09:34):
I was like, I knew you were tipsy.

Speaker 1 (09:36):
I could tell from like the way you were, the
way I can tell the way you move on a
dance floor or just threw out a crowd, if there's
a glaze in your eye and you're always on a mission.

Speaker 4 (09:48):
And I was like, okay, But then when.

Speaker 1 (09:49):
You yell, I was like, she would never yell that out,
she is drunk. And then then it just got progressively
more and more obvious how drunk she was.

Speaker 4 (10:00):
Oh well, and she kept drinking.

Speaker 5 (10:01):
But yeah, I knew Jenny was drunk when we were
at the Lobby bar afterwards, and she was not on
the beach not.

Speaker 3 (10:08):
No, I don't think I was on a level of
jenny drunkenness. Trust me when I say that I was
very much in control. I was just loosey goosey on
the beach. It was not until we got to the
next part.

Speaker 2 (10:21):
That I was taken down dirty.

Speaker 5 (10:24):
Martine was business sure, but I was like Jennifer.

Speaker 1 (10:29):
On the beach. She appeared out of nowhere like a
fucking raccoon in the night, and she had a single.
She had found a pack of cigarettes. Some random person
left with one cigarette lighting shows. Oh the little Wisconsin
and we found a little a little treat. And she goes,
I like.

Speaker 4 (10:46):
To smokey when I have when I have some drinks.

Speaker 1 (10:48):
And I was like, oh, what she did? She fucking
does her Adam standards what it was. And then she
kept appearing and then she'd be like and then I
look over and she'd be like in the limbo line,
and then she'd come back like, Oh, he's the ass
on that guy. Because Jenny sexualized the workers as everyone

(11:08):
Jenny gets her ass sexualized. She was sexualized in the
workers of that resort's ass. Okay, but I've never seen
buts like that were men before.

Speaker 4 (11:18):
They were big old cakes.

Speaker 1 (11:19):
They and they were they had.

Speaker 3 (11:21):
It's like the whole half of the beach party was
us following their dance moves because they're like, everyone get in,
and so I'm I'm like, what am I supposed to
be following your cheeks.

Speaker 4 (11:28):
Or you're the beach.

Speaker 1 (11:29):
The beach party DJ was highly offensive, but in a
funny way.

Speaker 5 (11:33):
At one point just roasted you on the daily Yeah,
he yeah, Especially Jenny the guy, she's like my boops
head and he's.

Speaker 1 (11:42):
Like, we all know you have huge boots. Then he
like to two women, says scissor scissor, and we're like,
what the hell you can't yell out. The next day
on the beach, a woman who works for the resort
comes up to Jenny and she's like, I remember you.
Then she starts mock dancing like Jenny, covers her heart

(12:02):
and says, you need to find Jesus.

Speaker 3 (12:04):
Yes, she did say that that's beautiful, and don't forget
the most important part. She said, I'm famous booty now,
and so yes, anytime I saw her from that on,
she'd do the dance move I was doing, which was
bent in like a ninety degree angle with my cheeks
going back and forth, working and she'd be like famous booty.

Speaker 1 (12:21):
But anyways, jan went to the Disco Techo.

Speaker 2 (12:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (12:25):
Well before yeah, so after the pool, you know, the
boys jumped in the pool and one of Trevor's friends
might have done like a forward sort of dive into
like a three foot pool and he came up with
a little oopsie on his head, you know, a little
something something. We have a lot of friends that are nurses.
God bless they were all there. Yeah, so shout out
to Sophie. We love her. So she took care of

(12:46):
Trevor's one friend and I.

Speaker 2 (12:47):
Was like, this is classic, everybody. Then we go to
the Disco Techo, which was just the lobby. Yeah, but
it was lit and we were all having a good time.

Speaker 5 (12:55):
We were all dancing around, but there were some spilled
drinks and it did make the floor a little slicker.
And then Trevor and all of his friends, his college friends,
they played basketball.

Speaker 2 (13:04):
That's how they know each other.

Speaker 5 (13:06):
So they found some half deflated basketball and they're doing
weird jump ball fake basketball games. I didn't see this.
My back was turned. I was having a great time.
But apparently Trevor jumped up for a fake jump ball
and when he came down, slipped on the ground and
he went oop backwards into the corner of the stage

(13:28):
at times, and that was tough. And all of a sudden,
I got a video shown to me by one of
his friends of Trevor in the little medical.

Speaker 2 (13:36):
Bay with Sophie. Poor Sophie. It's a tough night for her.

Speaker 5 (13:39):
And they were like, yeah, Trevor cut his head open too,
and I'm like, again, you know, let's glue it up
and get him to bed.

Speaker 2 (13:46):
And then next thing, Sophie's coming out. She's like, Hey,
where's Trevor's passport? He needs to go to the hospital.

Speaker 5 (13:52):
Okay, And I was like, it's eleven thirty at night,
but okay, So yeah, we went found we took some
shoes from one of Trevor's friends, I got his passport
and we went to the hospital and Punchakana.

Speaker 4 (14:05):
That's exciting.

Speaker 2 (14:06):
It was exciting.

Speaker 1 (14:07):
How did you compare a Puntakana hospital to an American hospital?

Speaker 2 (14:10):
You know what? It wasn't as different as you might think.

Speaker 1 (14:13):
We drove past it looked like a nice, nice name.

Speaker 2 (14:15):
It wasn't that one.

Speaker 4 (14:16):
Oh. I was like, oh, I wonder if that's where
it was all time we drove past. I wonder I
past the hospital.

Speaker 2 (14:21):
It wasn't because we passed that one too on the
way to the airport.

Speaker 5 (14:24):
T was like, why couldn't we have gone here twenty
minutes closer.

Speaker 2 (14:27):
I'm like, you know what, I didn't ask questions? He
was closed.

Speaker 4 (14:30):
What time did you guys get back from the hospital?

Speaker 2 (14:32):
Then?

Speaker 4 (14:33):
Okay?

Speaker 3 (14:33):
In the am all I know is like I didn't
like know a ton of extra details until the next day. However,
I did see in the shared album of Trevor in
the hospital and then another one of you guys. He's
in the bathtub with like a shower cap on his
head and your like legs are in it, but then
a tomb with like a pissed off look of his face,
and he looks so funny.

Speaker 1 (14:54):
In it, so funny.

Speaker 2 (14:55):
I was in great spirits about it.

Speaker 5 (14:57):
He was going to be fine, he needed a couple
of stif and I was like, I'm just gonna laugh
because it is so ridiculous, and I'm not gonna He.

Speaker 2 (15:06):
Was like, I've ruined the night you weren't supposed to come.
You were supposed to enjoy your wedding night without you, righted,
You're gone. Yeah, So I just had a good giggle
about it.

Speaker 1 (15:16):
So since you got home at three am. Did you
consummate the.

Speaker 4 (15:19):
Marriage or not?

Speaker 2 (15:19):
Absolutely not.

Speaker 5 (15:20):
Yeah, Also the would it have been consummated on because
then it was the next day.

Speaker 4 (15:27):
So yeah, I would still consider it like your wedding night.
At that point you sinning you shouldn't have worn white
to your wedding.

Speaker 3 (15:42):
It was already white. I want to say just in
Fallon's I guess praise. She did a great job with
the ceremony. It was very very good. I laughed, I chuckled.
I was trying to get pictures of your boob sweat. However,
Trevor was blocking all boob action. You know, I don't
think you had any Honestly, when it comes down to it, it.

Speaker 1 (16:04):
Was like just the sun was mostly just directly on
my face. So I was like, am I gonna be
able to read my stuff?

Speaker 4 (16:11):
And I did.

Speaker 1 (16:12):
I kept it.

Speaker 2 (16:12):
We kept it.

Speaker 1 (16:13):
Between me and Mary, the woman who spoke. It was
around twentyish minutes, which was you said like, yeah, would.

Speaker 2 (16:19):
Be you hit the under?

Speaker 5 (16:21):
Actually no, they said if it was just when you
started talking, because we had betting sheets and it was
twenty and a half was blond, so you guys would
have hit the under but the music brought you over.

Speaker 1 (16:33):
Unfortunately, that is, unfortunately you did.

Speaker 2 (16:36):
You did a really wonderful job of it.

Speaker 3 (16:37):
It didn't for the fact that we were all basking
in the sun at that point. I know Fallon had
it the worst slash you and Trevor.

Speaker 4 (16:44):
I was fine.

Speaker 2 (16:45):
I was in the shade.

Speaker 4 (16:45):
Oh okay, I felt great.

Speaker 3 (16:48):
It didn't feel like it was very long, though, like
I feel like somebody's feel like they're twenty twenty five minutes.
To me, I was like, oh, this is that was
pretty quick. I don't know, it went pretty quick, beautiful.

Speaker 1 (16:57):
It felt quick for me as well. But that's you
like anytime you're doing anything, it fills you.

Speaker 2 (17:01):
Didn't feel woozy at all while you were up there.

Speaker 5 (17:03):
You didn't feel like you might pass out into one
of the fountains or any dramatic turns.

Speaker 4 (17:08):
I did not thank you for asking. I did not
feel like that.

Speaker 1 (17:10):
I was thankful for Mary to come up a family
friend to do a little speaking because I ducked behind
a floral arrangement which provided me shade for that duration.

Speaker 4 (17:19):
Which was lovely.

Speaker 3 (17:21):
We did make a fall and take a shot with
us a little bit before because I could tell Falan
was like a little in her head, but she was
also a little tired from like the heat, because we
had taken pictures all day and done all the wedding
stuff like pre wedding, and we're all like starting to drink,
and I felt back because I knew Fallan like had
to get through the ceremony still before she could like

(17:41):
fully let loose. Not that you like needed to get
hammered or anything, but at one point the guys went
up to the bar and grabbed enough shots for all
of us, including Fallon, even though she said no, and
she's like, all right, fuck it, fine on me.

Speaker 1 (17:55):
We I think we did agree. We did think your
vows were better than Trevor.

Speaker 5 (18:00):
Yeah, you said it was a competition, and I was
told by people that I were good.

Speaker 1 (18:03):
Though I don't take away he did a good job mine.

Speaker 2 (18:06):
We're just really great.

Speaker 3 (18:07):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (18:07):
It was really told a story. He did tell a story.
I tried, and I feel like I don't know why
I need it, but this is off top. I did
air drop you your sister in law's speeches.

Speaker 4 (18:20):
You asked me, They asked.

Speaker 1 (18:21):
Me to record them. It's the videos too long for
me to send. So I was like I have to
air drop that to Tina and then you can get
to them.

Speaker 2 (18:26):
I would have thought that Gearbar Arrange would have the
shortest speech.

Speaker 3 (18:29):
I was actually quite shocked by that. I did time
his speech because I wasn't. I was anticipating, and I
think I asked Melan ahead of time, like how long,
and he was under I think what we both.

Speaker 2 (18:39):
Said did like nine minutes.

Speaker 4 (18:41):
I think it was like eight and a half. Wow.

Speaker 3 (18:44):
Yeah, it was like decently, sure, Can I tell you
the one bone I have to pick?

Speaker 4 (18:48):
But it's my fault, of course, of course.

Speaker 3 (18:51):
Please wedding, I find out, along with a few other people,
that there is a water park at this resort, and
I am hyped.

Speaker 4 (19:00):
At eighteen. It's like, We're going to the water park tomorrow.
It's gonna be so much fun. Blah blah blah blah.
I'm like, okay, sweet.

Speaker 3 (19:05):
Well, of course, as we mentioned earlier, I had a
lot of drinks the night of Tina's wedding, so the
next day I was quite hungover, and at one point
everyone's hanging at the pool and I just like got
up and left and didn't tell a soul what I
was doing, which was to go get coffee, and I
honestly just wanted to go to the room for like
twenty minutes to myself. And I come back, everyone's gone

(19:26):
except for Fallon, our friend Raven and Jake, and Found's like, yeah,
they went to the water park. So I go and
I'm like, okay, cool, I'll go find it. I am
walking around this whole fucking hotel forever. I go to
the beach, first walk down a bunch. I asked some
guy who works like a towel hut, and he's like
telling me that I'm not I'm too big for the
water slides. Basically, he's like there's just one. He's like,

(19:48):
there's just one water slide. And I was like, well,
where is it because I didn't know how many there were,
and he's like it's for.

Speaker 4 (19:54):
Kids, and I was like oh. He was disgasted. I'm like, well, okay,
so I come back.

Speaker 3 (19:59):
You guys are still not I'm like, I need to
go find internet and find a map of this hotel
because it wouldn't work by the pool. I finally find
the water park. You guys are not there. I decide
to go on the water slides by myself, still beguring
a ten year old me, Well, yeah, we were just
switching turns. So I'm just like, I go to the
lifeguard guy at the top. I was like, am I good?

(20:20):
I like, go by myself. I shoot out real quick
on the first.

Speaker 4 (20:22):
One because I didn't want to shoot ones right away,
and I was like, holy fuck.

Speaker 3 (20:26):
So then I get back once again after a couple
of water slides back to where Fallon is. You guys
are still not there, and I'm like, where the hell
has this group? Because you guys were a large group
of people who went to the water park and nobody
brought their phone. So when I was texting everyone like hello,
so finally, yes, we get hold of your friend Tom
and we find you guys. But the thing that really

(20:47):
was the dagger was the next day, as we're leaving
a few of us are sitting on this bus to
get shuttle to the airport, and your friend Cassie and
our friend Brie literally they go, yeah, like I really
think the water park was like my favorite part of
the trip, and I go, oh, okay.

Speaker 2 (21:03):
Really had to did say?

Speaker 5 (21:07):
So we all went over to the water park and
she goes, I feel really bad, like Jenny really wanted
to come to this is the thing she'd been talking
about the most, and I was like, it's.

Speaker 1 (21:14):
Completely Jenny's fault, because why because everyone in your friend
group is treated they treat each other like five year olds.
I decided they give countdowns, all right, guys in thirty minutes.

Speaker 4 (21:26):
It's like to prepare everyone. Well, Max there would.

Speaker 5 (21:28):
Make a decision because no one everyone said we wanted
to do slides, and no one was going Max is
finally like one thirty, we're going out one thirty.

Speaker 1 (21:35):
So but the countdown kept happening out loud. Jenny was
not I don't even think I was for the countdown.
Cowdown kept happening.

Speaker 5 (21:41):
The fact then you didn't communicate though that you really
want to show the water slides, and you didn't say like, hey, guys,
just like.

Speaker 2 (21:46):
Before you go, like, don't go without me.

Speaker 3 (21:48):
Oh no, I just like I did. I wasn't getting
the vibe that you guys were gonna go that quick.

Speaker 2 (21:52):
I'm serious.

Speaker 3 (21:53):
Really, all I did was like I thought I was
just gonna go get coffee real quick. Honestly, I wanted
to have a ball movement because I was not doing
well that day and wanted some privacy in the hotel
because poor breed did not need to be like, yeah,
privy to that situation, you know, And it ended up
taking me, you know, like thirty minutes till I came back,

(22:14):
and I thought I was going to be gone to
get a coffee and kind of like come back pretty quickly.

Speaker 4 (22:17):
So I'm whatever, it is all my fault. I know,
it's my fault. I get it.

Speaker 3 (22:20):
I just was I still was doing those fucking water slides.
And then you want to know what the towel guy
must have been referencing the little kiddy slide that's right
there when you walk do how do you not realize
that there are huge water slides right next door to it?

Speaker 4 (22:33):
Like, what are you telling me?

Speaker 1 (22:34):
I also have another man And he just stared at
her blakly. No, he stared at my boobs blankly, but
then at that face it was just like, no, idea
what you're saying and walked away.

Speaker 4 (22:43):
He did, and I was like, does anyone know where
this water?

Speaker 5 (22:46):
Jenny, I'm so sorry that you missed it, but I'm
not gonna lie.

Speaker 2 (22:49):
It was one of the best.

Speaker 5 (22:50):
Yeah, and it's my wedding was a Mary kay An
Ashley movie that would have been a montage, and yet yeah,
it would have whatever.

Speaker 1 (22:58):
I don't want it because the last time I wrote
a water slide was not that long ago, and it
was like a big inflatable one and there was a
video taken and it's the worst video of my entire life,
where the whole front of my baby suits going up
the front of my body and I look like a
porpoised whale. With you, it's like the worst photo of
my life. I was like, I don't need to have.

Speaker 2 (23:18):
Some of these slides were so intense.

Speaker 5 (23:19):
You came out so fast at your feet like went
up in the air and like you like slid backward
somehow into the water.

Speaker 1 (23:25):
Oh.

Speaker 3 (23:25):
I thought about bringing my phone since I was by
myself and I was going to make like a sad
reel of me doing water slides by myself.

Speaker 4 (23:30):
The first one I went on, Yeah, it was one of.

Speaker 3 (23:32):
The shoot ones. I was like, thank got it didn't
bring my phone.

Speaker 4 (23:35):
I would have ruined that damn thing.

Speaker 5 (23:38):
Oh my gosh, I'm sorry, Jenny. Other than that, did
you guys have a good time in.

Speaker 4 (23:41):
So much fun? I definitely did. It was really fun.

Speaker 2 (23:44):
Do you guys want to go back again, same time?

Speaker 1 (23:45):
Next?

Speaker 2 (23:45):
Year, like, do you want to make it a yearly thing?

Speaker 4 (23:48):
I don't.

Speaker 1 (23:48):
I would like to go somewhere else. I like to
different places, and I also would like to just suggest
that there's She's like, shit, okay, there was a little
more adventure like hiking opportunities in.

Speaker 5 (23:59):
The really wanted us to do a catamaran and I
said no, unfortunately, but.

Speaker 4 (24:03):
We could do it. I heard, there's how funny is this?

Speaker 1 (24:06):
I talked to my college friend Abby, who got married
in October, like yesterday.

Speaker 2 (24:12):
I think it was.

Speaker 1 (24:12):
She called me in the morning and she's like, where
did you stay in Puntacana? And I was like, it
was the Secrets Poonchacana, her royal beach, and she goes,
that's so funny. That's where she's going. They're taking her
stepdaughter is graduating high school, and like she wants to
go somewhere where she can drink. Yeah, so she they
picked that and that's where they were saying. And I
was like, that's crazy.

Speaker 5 (24:31):
That the odds it's happening to somebody else that we
know is going. Oh, one of Tom and I's high
school friends, her and her husband, and I think a
few other people are literally going like next week or
something like that.

Speaker 2 (24:41):
I'm like, oh, does that happen?

Speaker 4 (24:42):
It's the most pop and spot. Apparently it's the.

Speaker 2 (24:44):
Place to be. It's the place hopefully they get good weather.

Speaker 3 (24:47):
The people I don't know where they're saying, but the
people whose dogs I'm watching right now, who actually, weirdly enough,
is like related slash friends with someone of your friends whatever.

Speaker 2 (24:56):
Raina's family.

Speaker 4 (24:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (24:57):
Yeah, And they were leaving to go to the Dominican today,
I think because or maybe they left last night.

Speaker 4 (25:03):
But I was like, oh, everybody's out here.

Speaker 2 (25:06):
Oh my god.

Speaker 3 (25:07):
I just don't ever go to the like that area
you are kind of I have been the Dominican Republic night.

Speaker 1 (25:13):
I was also surprised that it's like a five hour
flight almost. That was actually surprising. I'm used to like,
what's mexicll like three or.

Speaker 2 (25:19):
And a half.

Speaker 1 (25:19):
Yeah, so I clearly my geography not not the fresh
as well.

Speaker 5 (25:24):
I mean, I really confused everyone because we were told
it was like a five forty five flight, and then
we got on to go down there and they're like, well,
have you there in four hours and thirty minutes?

Speaker 4 (25:32):
Oh yeah? The way yeah, the way there, it was quick.

Speaker 3 (25:35):
The way back, and it might just be me because
I have been dealing with like this chronic, fucking crazy
pain stuff.

Speaker 4 (25:41):
But the way back was awful.

Speaker 3 (25:43):
And I don't know, Paul and I weren't on the
same flight on the way back, but we sat on
a tarmac for like forty five minutes in a line
of planes to take off, like it was like slowly
going and rock.

Speaker 2 (25:53):
Experience sounds like it was awful. Everyone said had horror stories.
There's no waiting.

Speaker 4 (25:59):
Yeah, yeah, no, the airport was crazy.

Speaker 1 (26:02):
The craziest part was they got it there two hours early.
And thank god they make you get there early because
everyone like Jenny would mister flight because she even on
the way there was like, I'll get on that playing,
don't worry. She arrived the airport over an hour after
me and Jake. You were ridiculous earlier you got there.
You know that it was Jake's wanting to get there

(26:22):
that right, But he this is what he said, and
I agree. He's like, I'm not going to risk it
for an important event. And I said that's smart, Like
I don't want to risk it, You're right. So he's like,
if it was like something that wasn't important, fine, but
he's like if something happened, He's like, we would be
so upset if like we had to be almost late
to her wedding.

Speaker 4 (26:40):
And at all sextra stress.

Speaker 1 (26:42):
I was like, you're right, but on the way back,
they make you do like two hours, and thank god
they did, because it took every bit of the two
hours to get through their forty different fucking customs.

Speaker 4 (26:55):
I was like, how many more times do you my passport?
My guy?

Speaker 1 (26:57):
Like it was crazy the number of things you had
to go through it. And then by the time we
got there, there was like only like twenty minutes, so
there was no time to get like food really, But
then we realized we were in the wrong area and
then they changed gates, so we were like Jake and
I were hauling ass and then we got there and
everyone was sweating and like people who checked bags like
Tom highly oh oh it was rough.

Speaker 5 (27:20):
Rough text sent to text afterwards and was like, hey, yeah,
so the airport was like pretty stressful and I was like.

Speaker 4 (27:25):
Oh no, it was bad, and they and it was.

Speaker 1 (27:28):
They put us in this weird wing where there was
no room and no one apparently flying out reads what
their gat is, so they all just stand because they
were so close to each other.

Speaker 2 (27:38):
Yeah, you, it was probably the same as it was
like one, two, three, yeas on top of it, and.

Speaker 4 (27:41):
It was crazy. And then they I will say, because.

Speaker 1 (27:45):
Jake and I were bougie and we did get first class,
so we were on the plane. But Tom was live
texting from the tarmac and he was like cool, cool,
coocka cool, just standing in the blazing sun for like
forty minutes. I'm so glad we rushed to stand here
in the sun.

Speaker 2 (27:57):
But you guys were like outside.

Speaker 1 (27:59):
They made us go outside. I didn't climbed stairs for
a b do that. Yeah, none of this happened for me.

Speaker 2 (28:04):
No, we had have such a lovely experience.

Speaker 4 (28:06):
Well it wasn't. Again, my experience wasn't bad. I do
think some other people had nice.

Speaker 2 (28:14):
See.

Speaker 3 (28:15):
I didn't fully see what happened, but some woman budged
us in front of the passport control line because everyone
was like at that point, that was the last one
you had to get through, and everyone was getting pissed
at that point, and I didn't really know what happened.
All of a sudden, I see this woman arguing with
the man in front of her, and I thought they

(28:35):
were like married and they were having a little spat.

Speaker 1 (28:37):
No.

Speaker 3 (28:37):
It turned out that it was like a couple that
was probably like thirty five, and then one of their parents,
so another couple, so like sixty, a sixty year old
couple or something, and that woman budge between the two couples.
So the thirty five year old husband is like, no,
get out and whatever, and so eventually she just like
went behind them, and then there was in front of

(28:58):
us and their fight and there they're yapping, and then
the sixty year old husband is like, just stop whatever,
and then they keep going. And that woman, oh god,
was she a Karen. She kept fucking saying ship to them.

Speaker 4 (29:09):
And I was like, you are in the wrong lady.

Speaker 3 (29:11):
You the line, you're the asshole, and she cut pretty
decent ahead of what like the line was.

Speaker 4 (29:20):
Like I couldn't believe it. It was crazy. I just
don't care.

Speaker 3 (29:23):
I'm not going to fight with someone in a place
like that because the tension at an airport, airport, you
don't know what it's going to bring out of people's personalities. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
oh but she was yeah, she was a little bitchy Karen,
And I was like, damn girl, I didn't even I
didn't care that she budged me. I was like getting
anxious though watching this like interaction happen. I don't like
stuff like that. It makes me scared.

Speaker 1 (29:44):
Yeah, people are crazy these days.

Speaker 4 (29:48):
It's why are going to lead to next?

Speaker 1 (29:50):
That's what you don't know as we wrap up this podcast,
Tina's or anything else you would like to bestow upon maybe
future brides.

Speaker 4 (29:57):
Or marriage advice. At this she hasn't been married for
a while.

Speaker 2 (30:01):
I've actually been married for a while.

Speaker 1 (30:02):
Yeah, I can't recommend destination weddings enough.

Speaker 2 (30:06):
You know, I you do what you want to do.

Speaker 5 (30:09):
I know there's a lot of people who think destination
weddings are rude too.

Speaker 2 (30:13):
If you don't want to go on a destination wedding,
don't have one or RSVP no.

Speaker 5 (30:18):
But I think that everybody who came came because they
wanted a vacation, they wanted to relax and have fun.
It just made the atmosphere great. We just got to
have like nice dinners or coffees or sit by the
pool with people. We got quality time with everybody. I
just like, I can't recommend that enough. If you want
to get married here, I can also recommend City Hall.

Speaker 2 (30:39):
It was a lovely place as well.

Speaker 5 (30:41):
I've al like I've gotten a lot of dms from
people to asking questions.

Speaker 1 (30:44):
But well, look at like the prettiest courthouse wedding I've
ever seen.

Speaker 5 (30:48):
Yeah, it was very you can rent it for up
to two hours. It's two hundred dollars an hour. They
provided all those white chairs. So I think as far
as wedding venues in Minneapolis go, it might be that.
She I think so really only have forty people though,
so that's gonna be tough. But if you're looking to
have a small ceremony, do that. I had dinner at

(31:09):
Boulevard also lovely, great space. Yes, I love I know
my order was kind of confusing because we had so
many months in between, but we just did that because
we wanted grandparents and stuff to come and do it
before the holidays.

Speaker 2 (31:24):
But I love the order that I did things in.

Speaker 4 (31:27):
I really And you still have a honeymoon you're going
to do? Like, yes, we have you figured out what
you're doing.

Speaker 2 (31:32):
Yeah, we're going to Africa.

Speaker 4 (31:33):
I knew that you were doing that, but are you
adding on.

Speaker 5 (31:36):
Yes, maybe that's the part we haven't figured out just
because it takes so long to get all the.

Speaker 2 (31:42):
Way to Kenya.

Speaker 5 (31:43):
Yeah, and then we're gonna be at a Safari camp
for five days, which is a lovely amount of time,
but it's gonna take like probably like almost thirty six
hours to get there. So I'm like, if we have
like a the word haste of travel and then we're
there for five days, that feels kind of funky. So
I would like to go like halfway back, maybe Morocco
like Genu went to or something, to split up coming home,

(32:05):
but I have not figured that out yet, and I'd
like to try and do it in a budget friendly way. Yeah,
but yeah, so I'll probably talk to you more about that, maybe.

Speaker 4 (32:14):
Yeah, talk to me.

Speaker 3 (32:15):
I'm gonna do just one quick shameless plug because I
do have some spots open still on my Bali trip,
and so I think you still can book up until
like middle of March. But if you are interested and
you want any more info, feel free to DM me.
I can get you on like an email chain that
I have of stuff. But I think I have seven
spots left if you're interested in coming to I thought

(32:36):
of that because also I just booked my flight there
travel this weekend. Yeah, flights are all bitch to go
out there, but in a good way. Don't don't make
that scare you from coming to say that I don't
share that cut that part. Yeah you know what's so fun?

Speaker 4 (32:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (32:56):
Part of me was like, do you want to spend
some extra money? But no chance, No, no fucking chance.
It was the difference of like my flight was nineteen
hundred dollars to fly, not even like the laydown ones
I think would have been like ten grand geese.

Speaker 5 (33:10):
So I was like, yeah, no, I that money plus
like it's crazy.

Speaker 4 (33:16):
I just man, you got to be rich, rich, rich,
rich rich to be doing.

Speaker 2 (33:20):
Or when all my Delta miles on my flo I.

Speaker 3 (33:22):
Was gonna say, or you are really good with a
credit card points slash whatever. But I'm pretty good with
my credit card points, but I just have like the
lowest of low credit cards, so.

Speaker 4 (33:30):
I don't get that many.

Speaker 3 (33:31):
Benefits I gotta get you gotta get those higher I know, yeah,
they give you those points.

Speaker 4 (33:36):
Whatever they do. Well, Tina, thank you for joining us, hands,
having it and being a stunning bride and a wonderful host.

Speaker 5 (33:44):
Thank you for being wonderful efficient anything for bringing the party.

Speaker 1 (33:48):
You're welcome you knew I would, you did, you did,
and we'll get you updates on the live podcast once
we have like confirmation. I'm guessing we probably realistically won't
start promoting that until March.

Speaker 4 (33:59):
Yeah, so since it's not until the

Speaker 1 (34:00):
End of March, so blessings, thank you for listening, love me,
Bye bye bye
