Speaker 2 (00:04):
Friends.

Speaker 3 (00:04):
Welcome to the show. Internshown is my name, Sauce. Hello,
Hello Rose Hi Hi, got to Eric here, got hoodie
Saveria as well. Big day today, National Coconut cream pie
Day cool.

Speaker 1 (00:17):
I don't know if I've ever had one.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
I don't think. I don't think I have.

Speaker 3 (00:23):
Okay, National Student Nurse Day cool, very exciting.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
National have a coke Day? All right, I have done that.

Speaker 2 (00:30):
Someone shared coke with me at the Dogged Option nice
couple weeks ago.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
Yes, nine eight to text dms are open at YMS Radio.

Speaker 1 (00:40):
By the way, voting still open.

Speaker 3 (00:41):
So uh, Baltimore's son the Newsaver has their best of
Baltimore kind of a competition, which is really cool, and
we're for a bunch of different stuff. So you go
to vote yms dot com. That's vote yms dot com.
You can vote for I think it's best radio host,
best podcast, and best social media. Yeah we're up in

(01:03):
all those categories. Vote ymsradio dot com or sorry, vote
yms dot com is the proper way to go. Let
me get to this too real quick for your Thursday. Obviously,
I'm in Alpha and you guys know and you know,
excited to tell you, and that's like most alpha's Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
Yeah, yeah they do. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:20):
According to psychologists, these are the alpha traits that make
a man totally irresistible.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
Okay, when they're confident but not arrogant.

Speaker 4 (01:29):
Sure, yeah I do. I have said that. I've said
that about guys of data. I was like, they were
just like really confident, but they weren't like it wasn't
arrogant at all. It was just it was kind of infectious.
Like it's like almost like they had a lot of charisma.

Speaker 3 (01:40):
Yeah, so they say that this seid He found sixty
percent of men have felt insecure when dating, with rejection
being the biggest fear.

Speaker 1 (01:47):
Yeah, because haven't approached somebody sucks?

Speaker 2 (01:49):
It does?

Speaker 3 (01:50):
This lack of confidence in their ability to gain tention
for women has caused mental emotional problems. The survey found
thirteen percent of men think it's harder for them the
date now than it was ten years ago.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
Probably.

Speaker 2 (02:01):
I just think dating has changed a lot, oh for everyone.

Speaker 1 (02:03):
Yeah, and not not for the better.

Speaker 3 (02:06):
Yeah, when they're protective rather than possessive.

Speaker 2 (02:09):
Yeah, that's a nice alphatra.

Speaker 4 (02:11):
It's one thing to feel protected and you know, maybe
secure and safe with somebody. But possessive is just that's
very toxic. We don't like that.

Speaker 3 (02:19):
Yeah, they say a kindness is powerful. A kind man
shows empathy, patience, and compassion. He treats other as well,
not because he's trying to impress anyone, but because that's
just who he is.

Speaker 2 (02:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:30):
Eighty nine percent women rank kindness as the trait they
like most in a man. Would that be a same
for you, sauce, I.

Speaker 4 (02:36):
Would say so, because the way you treat others as how, like,
I'm going to be more attracted to you.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
Sure, if you're nice.

Speaker 1 (02:42):
Rose to kindness be running to the top for you.

Speaker 2 (02:44):
Yeah, absolutely, Okay.

Speaker 3 (02:46):
They say it's not about being a nice guy in
a performative sense, it's about being a good man.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:51):
That goes to like the the note like the difference
is one a nice I saw this on TikTok. I
should say that difference is like a nice guy and
a competent guy. And it's like a nice guy will
do flashy things just because he thinks that will. Yeah,
when you ever confident guys does things quietly and.

Speaker 4 (03:06):
They just want to do it. They don't need your approval,
They just want to be a nice, good guy.

Speaker 3 (03:10):
Yeah, it makes si the confident guy does it not
expect anything in return, But it's like the nice guy
thinks they're getting something of it, which really means you're
not the nice guy.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
No.

Speaker 1 (03:19):
Yeah, like that's kind of like the whole vibe.

Speaker 3 (03:21):
And the last sign of the outfit is when they
control their emotions in every.

Speaker 1 (03:25):
Situation that supposed to be ultra attractive.

Speaker 4 (03:27):
Because we've all seen like somebody and I know we're
just talking about men right now, but we've all seen
the one guy that's just overreacted and gotten really angry
in a situation that chrey really stressful. So then you
have to focus on trying to de escalate how they're
reacting while you're also upset in the situation, and it's
just a cluster f I can't.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
I can't deal with people like that.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
Yeah, they say researchers.

Speaker 3 (03:49):
Yes, women tend to prefer partners demonstrate emotional intelligence. High
emotional intelligence associated with better relationship satisfaction and stability. Yeah,
I think that makes sense. If you want to add
your thoughts over three three eight. Let me get to
this for your Thursday too. The jobs that pay six
figures it's e turns down in your morning show. Let's

(04:10):
knock these out. It's an Internsjohn in your morning show.
Every now and then we do the salary rodeo, which
I love doing where basically you call in and you
say what field you're in in how much money you make,
Because I feel like the salary transparency has been such
a huge movement the last couple of years. Like we've
had folks say, like, I've been doing this job for

(04:32):
you know, I had no idea that there's people making
forty grand more doing the exact same job, which is wild.
These are the unexpected jobs that can earn you six figures.

Speaker 2 (04:42):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (04:42):
Now keep in mind to you there's that report that
like six figures in the D and V is like
something like that. I think it is, yeah, where it's
just because the taxes and it's like it's like basically
earning forty Some of these words, I can't even say.
A data ephesis et HIC is t okay. Okay, So
companies are increasing the concern about the ethical implications of

(05:04):
their data practices.

Speaker 2 (05:06):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (05:06):
So these data eiser I don't know, guide organizations and
navigating complex ethical dilemmas. And ensharing that data co action
analysis are aligned with moral and legal standards.

Speaker 2 (05:19):
Okay, that makes sense.

Speaker 1 (05:20):
The average pay one hundred and sixty K year.

Speaker 2 (05:22):
How do I become one of those?

Speaker 1 (05:24):
You probably?

Speaker 3 (05:25):
Yeah, well, there is that you have to have some
experience with data management.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (05:29):
I feel like they'd be fair fairly easy is not
the right word, but I could know what's right and
what's wrong.

Speaker 1 (05:34):
I feel like you should be.

Speaker 3 (05:35):
If I don't want the company to do this to me,
we probably shouldn't do it to the customers.

Speaker 2 (05:39):
I mean, it's like the same for radio.

Speaker 4 (05:41):
When you're a producer, you're like, if I don't like this,
I don't think the listener will.

Speaker 3 (05:45):
Yeah, absolutely, hundred percent. Next one is a user experience researcher.
So user experienced researchers analyze people interact with products and
services to enhanced satisfaction like this, by conducting user tests, surveys,
and interviews, they provide valuable insight and design decisions. Record
to salary dot com, they salary ranges from one hundred

(06:07):
and one K to one hundred and twenty four K.

Speaker 2 (06:10):
That's pretty dope.

Speaker 3 (06:10):
That's pretty sick, man. Yeah, that's like being the was
it secret shopper? Which is sam I ever done that?
I've seen like the that was like the stores will
pay you a shop there. I've never known anybody who's
actually done it, because it seemed like to do it,
yeah if it's legit, right, because it seems like it
is legit.

Speaker 4 (06:27):
So when I worked at Halliser, we would we would
be able to tell sometimes when they were a secret
shopper because I don't ask more questions. It's like like
nobody was asking when it has questions like that. Yeah, ma'am,
I'm in high school.

Speaker 1 (06:39):
I don't know Andy. Also, you don't belong here.

Speaker 2 (06:42):
We had people a secret shop.

Speaker 5 (06:44):
It into like the restaurants that I work, Yeah, Fridays,
if you didn't check for someone's ID, you.

Speaker 2 (06:51):
Would get red carded. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (06:52):
Interesting, Okay. Ethical hacker made the list, So another gig
at the intersection of attack and data. Ethical hackers are
known as penetration testers or white hat hackers, who have
organizations identify and fixed security problems like there's like Facebook
has that, and they'll basically come hackers like try to

(07:13):
find a whole in security. Average salary one hundred and
six thousand dollars.

Speaker 2 (07:16):
My brother needs to be that.

Speaker 1 (07:18):
Oh yeah, you think he pulled off.

Speaker 4 (07:21):
I mean, I've I've asked him to do some thingsam
like the fact that he's like, I can do that.

Speaker 2 (07:25):
I'm like, that's so weird.

Speaker 1 (07:27):
Did he ask like seriously or just like kind of
throwing out the joke.

Speaker 4 (07:29):
I'm like, do you think you could do this? He's like,
and then he does it, and I'm like, okay, yeah'd
be pretty silly you do it like hacking any thing.
It's just like the stuff that he can do, like
with his computer, because he's built like five At this point,
I'm just like Colby.

Speaker 2 (07:41):
Damn, like he built scratch. Yeah, oh god, okay.

Speaker 3 (07:44):
Medical science liaisons they act as bridges between pharmaceutical companies
and healthcare professionals. They provide up to date infa by
medical products, research, clinical trials, doctors.

Speaker 6 (07:55):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (07:56):
The average salary is one hundred and fifty seven thousand
dollars a year. I think I have a friend that
does this. I'm not positive. I'm pretty sure this is
what he does because he like, he'll go into surgery
rooms and tell the doctor's how the machines work or
the tensils work.

Speaker 2 (08:11):
That's the same. It's not just like medical device sales.

Speaker 3 (08:14):
By think because he's a marve A liaison though I think,
and I could be wrong. So you need specific training
crand shows consisting you have a doctor degree in the
life sciences. But that makes one hundred and fifty seven
thousand dollars a year probably seems a little bit low because.

Speaker 4 (08:29):
In Atlanta a lot of my friends did medical device
sales and dated that. Or even my grandmotherer was making
fun of her friend's husband who acts like he's a doctor.
Ex he'll wear scrubs, but he has to go into
surgery to show people, like, oh how it works, and
then so people would call him doctor whatever, and she's like,
so it's my grandma.

Speaker 3 (08:46):
She was like, he's not a doctor. That's so Funnna. Yeah,
Bill Nanner, I'll do a couple more of these. Again,
these are the jobs to make over six figures drome
pilot help listen. If my parents let me play video
games as much as I would have won as a child,
you could have been Okay. I've a lot of things,
corny lace numbers, some glassdoor smate. Total pay for a

(09:06):
drone pilot is one hundred and twenty two k per year.
In the United States, average salary is eighty nine K.

Speaker 2 (09:13):
But what are you doing that for?

Speaker 3 (09:14):
So they say operating jones with tasks like aerial photography, surveying, mapping,
those types of things.

Speaker 2 (09:20):
That's pretty cool.

Speaker 3 (09:20):
The military, I think would be probably different, but at
least in the public sector you can do those things.

Speaker 1 (09:26):
Traveling nurse.

Speaker 4 (09:27):
Oh those like because our friend's boyfriend actually he staffs that.

Speaker 2 (09:33):
Oh interesting, you're talking about it. When she came.

Speaker 4 (09:36):
Morgan, who was in Florida, we were talking about when
she came to dinner and she's like, and yeah, they
do make a lot of money.

Speaker 2 (09:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (09:42):
So they say traveling nurses helped till gaps in areas
where there's nursing shortages, therefore in high demand. They say
that depending on your perspective, the travel can be a
positive or negative, but the pay is good. Average annual
salary for traveling nurse one hundred and nineteen K. Perks
include non tax housing site bins, non tax per DMS,
traveler mbursements, and signing bonuses.

Speaker 2 (10:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (10:04):
Really cool. I'll do one more of the engineering project manager. Uh,
they make good money engineers to manage other engineers. They
create detailed project plans for post budgets. Managing staffing equipment
needs The average median salary for this role as one
hundred and forty eight thousand dollars.

Speaker 2 (10:19):
That's wild.

Speaker 1 (10:20):
I think if you.

Speaker 3 (10:21):
Combine the salaries of all the DJs in this building
in times of by ten, we might be there too much.

Speaker 1 (10:27):
So we're really doing it.

Speaker 3 (10:29):
It's intern, Johnny Marshall, you're ready for a little bit
of the awkward turtle. It's an intern John in your
morning show, how to know if your best friend is
dumping you?

Speaker 2 (10:40):
Okay?

Speaker 3 (10:41):
Oh, anybody you're been dumbed by a friend before, or
feel like you've been dumped by a friend.

Speaker 2 (10:46):
I mean I think I've been dumbed. I have been
dumbed by a friend. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (10:49):
Is it a friend that was cheating on her husband?

Speaker 4 (10:53):
In that case, that was I feel like we both
dislike in that. Just yeah, But that was the two things.
There's this girlfriend's friends with in Atlanta and we stopped
being friends.

Speaker 3 (11:01):
Was there a certain reason, a certain breaking point, I
don't know.

Speaker 4 (11:04):
I just kind of stopped hearing from her after I
wouldn't drive her an hour and a half to get
a desk when I had work.

Speaker 2 (11:10):
I had work.

Speaker 4 (11:11):
Yeah, so we're really really close too. So like I
did not take it well, Like I was pretty upset,
and like my best friend Maggie was like Shelby, she
was such a vampire like energy sucker.

Speaker 2 (11:23):
I am so glad that she ended it with me.

Speaker 1 (11:26):
Why did she wants you to get the desk?

Speaker 4 (11:28):
Cause she I had a jeep so I could drive
her to get in like fit in my car. And
then but she just like kind of ghosted me, and
I reached out to her. I was like, what happened.
She's like, I don't know, Shelby. It's like every time
I hang out with you, you make things about yourself.
And I was with my friend Maggie at the time.
She's like, I would tell you like that.

Speaker 3 (11:45):
An hour and a half away, I have to give
you fifty dollars for a new desk, then drive an
hour and a half one way to get a desk.

Speaker 4 (11:50):
But she had she was getting a new job the
following week. And this was literally like a year and
a half ago, and so I couldn't do it. And
I kept saying I can go next Tuesday because we
had all this work up, and then I got pneumonia,
so I couldn't take her, and then she just got
me alwaysmonia.

Speaker 3 (12:08):
Yeah that's pretty on brand. Yes, pretty on brand. Let
me go through these and I guess and see if
if this happened to you, then so it's with yours.
Instagram proves she's moving on. I mean she barely use
Instagram so well, they say, so they uh, if all
of a sudden, your friend is posting a dozen selfies,
have her out with other friends on weekdays and weekends,

(12:31):
but then told you like, oh she is busy at night,
like that's a sign something's going on.

Speaker 4 (12:35):
Yeah, I mean I just knew something was going on
because like she was over my house every weekend, and
then I just wasn't hearing from her.

Speaker 3 (12:41):
Okay, they she makes excuses to cut your time short. Okay, damn,
they say, if you didn't think, if you didn't know better,
you think he still had a curfew instead of hanging
out for hours talking about whatever, she has to leave
early all the time.

Speaker 2 (12:55):
I mean that didn't really happen, No, but I could.

Speaker 3 (12:58):
See what in general, because then it's like it's like
you're you're putting in enough effort to but we did
hang out. Yeah, yeah, you can't put on me. Yeah,
if they're far less supporter than they used to be. Yeah, yeah,
they'd say, you can really use a shoulder after your
latest breakup. All he gets a few years it's okay,
uh huhs And possibly even what I zoned out for

(13:19):
a second, they say the reason for the sudden change
they just don't care anymore.

Speaker 4 (13:24):
I mean, yeah, like I because I would text her
about not like stuff that I needed, like necessarily support,
but I've text her about like normal friend stuff and
I was not here.

Speaker 3 (13:32):
Back from her. Yeah, but I mean basically stopped being
your friend. Yeah, Like that's like the big friend things.
Well now I know if they try to get you
to dump them, like yeah, they try to be the
bad friend, like they tried to be the they try
to me obviously yah being the bad friend, but they
want you to be the one that calls it off
so they can protect themselves.

Speaker 4 (13:49):
From I mean that's what Yeah, I mean that's what
I had to do because I like was like, hey,
are you gonna be an adult and use your words
and like explain what happened?

Speaker 2 (13:58):
And then I don't know it was it was a
whole thing.

Speaker 3 (14:01):
They say sometimes your best friend will go out of
their way to make your life miserable. I don't know
if that's the case, but in this situation, they'll turn
the ultimate b flirt with your boyfriend or disappear for
several weeks the reason they're trying to get you or
dump them so they don't have to.

Speaker 4 (14:15):
Yeah, I mean that's what happened. Is like she disappeared
for a few weeks and I was like, is she so?
What's going on?

Speaker 1 (14:20):
Is she issues?

Speaker 3 (14:22):
If they're always talking about their new group of friends?

Speaker 2 (14:25):
Yeah, okay, is she too?

Speaker 4 (14:27):
I feel like that is what happened because she was
going through like a draw a job, like she'd been
laid off, and I was like, really there for her
when she got laid off. But then she started just
like talking about everybody else, like her other friends.

Speaker 2 (14:38):
So I was like, okay, whatever they say.

Speaker 3 (14:40):
If the majority of conversations about her new group of
friends and how she's always excited wow with them but
never is time for you, that means your bff is
trying to tell you she prefers her new friends.

Speaker 2 (14:50):
Well now I know. Yeah, you know, if.

Speaker 3 (14:52):
They start texting like a guy like you send texts
but they ignore them, or if they do response day
later with the classes excuse the text came in late.
Excuse me her phone was on the ef frits. If
the texts also come back short and not like well
thought out.

Speaker 2 (15:07):
Yeah, yeah, I mean that's suction, like a dude, exactly, that's.

Speaker 1 (15:10):
The that's the way we go. This one's kind of obvious.

Speaker 3 (15:12):
Friends breaking up with you, you're always the one asking to
hang out.

Speaker 4 (15:15):
Yeah, I mean when you start feeling like that, you're like,
this is this person's not my friend?

Speaker 3 (15:19):
Yeah, which tines into the canceled plans at the last minute.

Speaker 1 (15:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (15:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (15:24):
The biggest one, though, they say, is if they start
calling somebody else their bestie.

Speaker 2 (15:28):
I mean, yeah, that would be an obvious one.

Speaker 1 (15:31):
They say.

Speaker 3 (15:32):
In the middle of talking about the new friends, she
slips and calls somebody else her bestie. She doesn't even
catch it herself, but you notice that's a huge sign
that your friends get ready to.

Speaker 4 (15:41):
W Yeah, for sure, for sure, especially if like there's
someone that like they like they were always like calling
that and then they just changed.

Speaker 2 (15:48):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (15:49):
If that's the case, you don't need that friend. No,
you don't take they asked to the curb. It's intern
Johnny Morris Show. If you get a chance, by the way,
we would love if you vote. Vote things open right now.
Baltimore's Son has their Best of Baltimore issue, which is
basically that's generated by people voting, obviously, but the listeners

(16:10):
and readers like nominate. So we've been nominated for a
bunch of awards, which is very cool. And I always
thought it was cheesy when celebrities would say, well, so
wanted to be nominated, until we get nominated for stuff.
Mike is very cool nominated. It's very cool to be nominated.
It'd be sick to win. Yes, sick. We have class
runions coming up. We got our parents got brag about us.

(16:31):
You know, we have important things. So there's a lot
of categories. There's Radio Hosts of the Year, there's Podcasts
of the Year, there's social media kind of the Year.
We're up in all these. So if you get a chance,
vote yms dot com. That's vote y ms dot com.
We appreciate as always if the show wins anything. We
have Eric right, the speeches and that right there is

(16:53):
worth the price of a missions. I mean, yeah, yeah,
I mean because who better to be thoughtful and thought
provoking than our very own Eric. Yeah, yes, yes, vote
yms dot com. Let me get to this in a second.
Two how you can tell and someone's gonna flake. This
is kind of interesting too, real quick. They found the
modern trends. We're gonna regret in ten years things everybody does.

(17:15):
But ten years is like, nah, probably not gonna do that. Man,
something's kind of obvious.

Speaker 2 (17:20):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (17:20):
First of all, buying NFTs, Yeah, that's been there. Yeah yeah,
if you remember on this very show, I remember, I'm
saying that maybe I'm an idiot, but it seems like
a laundering money. Yeah, any sense, Like I could take
a screenshot of a photo. But yeah, but you don't own.

Speaker 2 (17:34):
The dishal like okay, part of it.

Speaker 3 (17:39):
Nobody cares the broccoli haircut for dudes where it's like
basically the bowl cut, but it's like curly on top.

Speaker 4 (17:45):
Oh yeah, okay, that's what it's called. I don't know
that that's what it was called.

Speaker 1 (17:50):
Having only fans.

Speaker 3 (17:52):
I mean, I do think that some folks don't realize
that's forever, like.

Speaker 2 (17:56):
There, that is forever. Yeah, but you know what make
that bank if you want?

Speaker 3 (18:00):
Yeah, no ja sending their DNA to Ranom Company.

Speaker 4 (18:04):
Yeah, but honestly, like, if you're not going to do it,
someone in your bloodline probably going to do it. So
at this point doesn't even matter y because they're going
to be able to find you if you do kill somebody.

Speaker 6 (18:14):
Now.

Speaker 1 (18:14):
Yeah, giving kids really terrible names.

Speaker 4 (18:18):
Yeah well yeah yeah yeah.

Speaker 1 (18:20):
For life thing that's a and people don't know where
they got the name from.

Speaker 2 (18:24):
For some reason.

Speaker 4 (18:24):
I was on this whole like ruddit threat yesterday about
that and somebody was like, yeah, my hairstyle is just
naming their kid and it was something so wild and
I was like, okay.

Speaker 3 (18:33):
Kicky, yeah, funny parents allow their children to run the show.
I think that the soft parenting stuff for yeah, my
parents didn't do that face tattoos if I that's kind
of died down though, Yeah maybe okay.

Speaker 4 (18:47):
And also like I think that those are maybe I'm
making this up. I feel like they're they fade faster. Okay,
maybe maybe I'm wrong.

Speaker 1 (18:55):
Bullying teachers out of the profession.

Speaker 4 (18:57):
Yeah yeah, because they're raising our youth and then no
one wants to do that job anymore because of really
difficult parents and kids.

Speaker 2 (19:06):
Stop the last show.

Speaker 3 (19:07):
One do I think really important filming kids worst moments
for airnet Cloud.

Speaker 5 (19:10):
You guys hate that. That drives me absolutely wild. If
that parents do that, imagine someone doing it to you,
like you would hate.

Speaker 2 (19:18):
That too, Like the egg Tron when they're breaking eggs
on kid.

Speaker 3 (19:21):
I thought that was so horrible. Also, I never liked
the Costco guys. I always said that kid's like twelve,
let me be a kids. I don't just like them
in general, not just because of the kids. I think, well,
that is really weird when you saw them behind the
scenes videos of him, like rather the kid. Oh God,
our last one is putting your whole life on the internet.

Speaker 2 (19:38):
Yeah, stop doing that too.

Speaker 3 (19:41):
You want to add some nine ye three eight text
intern Johnny Marys Show. You can now follow us everywhere
at YMS Radio, It's Instagram, TikTok. Hoodie does fantastic job
with the videos on the show, all the behind the
scenes stuff. I want to get to this, Saws. Can
you tell when somebody's a total flake?

Speaker 2 (20:00):
I don't like if I'm friends with them or if
I just meet.

Speaker 3 (20:02):
Them in general, whether it's dating somebody or a friend
in general. You know, like you're gonna make plans and
they's gonna flake.

Speaker 2 (20:08):
I think. I think I'm okay at guessing if they are.

Speaker 3 (20:11):
Yeah, how many chance does he give the person before you, like,
am this night even gonna?

Speaker 4 (20:16):
I'll try to reschedule twice, right, So, like, if you
flake one time, I'll try to schedule one more time.

Speaker 2 (20:20):
So I guess it wouldn't be twice.

Speaker 4 (20:21):
I guess like, I'll make plans with you twice and
if by the second time it doesn't work out, then
I'm not going to reach out again.

Speaker 3 (20:26):
Friends included, Yeah, okay, Rose, you get spouting flakes.

Speaker 5 (20:30):
It takes me a few times, but I generally get
it after a while.

Speaker 3 (20:34):
I guess it's probably a little bit more frustrating to
like having a kid, because if you're going out, you
got you know, childcare and lock all that stuff up,
and then to blow it off and be annoying. I'm
tending to be like a one strike policy where unless
you let me know in advance by like a couple
of days in advance, but day of canceling. I've never

(20:54):
really been a fan of or hour of canceling.

Speaker 4 (20:57):
I've had friends that I've been trying to make plans with,
but we both like last minute things come up, so
we've both had to cancel, Yeah, within like a week
of free scheduling. And but I'll still try to make
plans with them because they've told me in advance.

Speaker 3 (21:09):
Yeah, which I think is like the courteous things you would.
I'd rather know in advance than you wait last minute
and hurt my feelings.

Speaker 1 (21:15):
Now, just tell me. I'd rather know a week ago.

Speaker 4 (21:16):
But sometimes when people flake last minute, I'm actually happy
about it because I'm sitting there like I gotta get
up and shower and get ready.

Speaker 1 (21:23):
You're hoping that you yourself can flake and then finally
do it.

Speaker 2 (21:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (21:25):
So these are of the signs that you can that
somebody is a complete flake, especially with dating. They stay
with dudes if the dates are never solid. So when
you suggest to a flake he did to grab Darren
a Friday, he's not gonna respond a super positive way.
But he's not gonna shut you down either. He's gonna
act like, sure, that sounds good, but he'll have to
let you know later on.

Speaker 2 (21:45):
Yeah, because he wants to keep his options open.

Speaker 1 (21:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (21:48):
Damn.

Speaker 1 (21:49):
That's the thing that's kind of the problem with the world.

Speaker 4 (21:52):
If they don't come to me with the time and
place and obviously day then I'm not we're not gonna
keep talking.

Speaker 3 (21:58):
Well, we talked to you like the psychology behind dating apps,
and like now there's a bunch of like stories coming out.
But they're saying the problem with dating apps is it's
they use the same system as gambling and casinos, where
it's like, why do people keep playing when they're up
five hundred dollars exactly because the next one could be better,
Like the next thing could be better, and they're staying.
With dating apps especially, it's like you could find your
perfect person, but your brain goes but what if the

(22:20):
next wipe is somebody even hotter?

Speaker 2 (22:21):
Exactly?

Speaker 3 (22:22):
You know what I mean.

Speaker 1 (22:22):
So they're saying that's the huge problems. I think he
corrects us.

Speaker 3 (22:24):
I think it's mainly because they're waiting to see if
anything else sleeps up. Yeah, if he reschedules more than
he plans, well.

Speaker 4 (22:32):
Yeah, if you're going to keep scheduling, especially if we
haven't met in person yet, then I'm not going to
give you my time.

Speaker 3 (22:38):
They say, how you supposed to date somebody if they
never make time for you. Short answer, you can't and shouldn't.
Makes sense if he always seems stressed out. They say
it's impossible to expect someone to feel zero stressed because,
let's face it, life stressful. But when you date a
guy who always seems stressed out and worried about something,
that's a sign he's not handling his life.

Speaker 4 (22:56):
Well, it could be a huge red flag. Ooh, okay, stressing.
I wouldn't have guessed as like flaky traits. Yeah, I
mean I guess, so that makes sense.

Speaker 3 (23:05):
Sure, if he has convincing excuses, they say, flakes are
pretty good coming up with reasons why they can't see you,
and you're gonna believe him. Every time work was nuts,
he need night off, he wants to get healthy. This
is the only time he gets to go to the gym,
brothers visiting. Eventually, you realize that just because somebody has
somewhat legit excuses doesn't mean you have to accept them for.

Speaker 4 (23:26):
Sure, especially like they probably flake all the time. That's
why they know which ones work.

Speaker 3 (23:30):
If he doesn't care about anything at first, flake a
guy is really attractive because it's a far cry from
the uptight, business oriented guy's day Before then you realize
the fact that he doesn't have a care in the
World's a pretty bad thing. You want someone who cares
about life what he's doing there, and this guy just doesn't.

Speaker 2 (23:45):
Especially because some time is valuable.

Speaker 4 (23:47):
So if you don't feel if I feel like someone
doesn't care about like X, y Z, and I'm like,
you're using your free time to hang out with me
and you just don't seem to have care in the world,
then I don't want to be around that person.

Speaker 2 (23:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (23:57):
And there's a fine line between care free and not caring, right,
It's like the happy, go lucky versus not given a
dang said. It's a very very fine line. Do a
couple more of these. So if he makes you anxious,
flag Yep, they say his anxious personality is gonna make
you anxious. No one should make you feel make you

(24:17):
so involved in how they're thinking and feeling that you
take their stress and negative emotions.

Speaker 1 (24:22):
I think that might be the most true statement this
whole thing.

Speaker 3 (24:25):
Yeah. Absolutely. And the last one is he's got grand ideas.
He's gonna starts O company one day, he's going to
travel the world. You're gonna invite to you next his
next party. Nope, none of these things are gonna happen
because flaky guys only live in the moment. By time
tomorrow comes around, they're already onto the next thing because
they've already lost interest.

Speaker 4 (24:43):
That makes sense, especially if they have, like Cime dated
a few guys that do. You have that kind of
mindset and they kind of are all over the place.

Speaker 3 (24:50):
So yeah, and there's always those friends where it is
like every week they have the next big thing, Like, man,
if you just did one of these things, you'd probably be.

Speaker 2 (24:57):
Okay, yeah, you might actually see the Yeah.

Speaker 3 (25:01):
I love your thoughts in this nine ninety three three
eight on Intern Johnny Morning Show.

Speaker 1 (25:08):
We cannot wait to see you.

Speaker 3 (25:11):
I announced last week I'm doing a weekend of stand
up shows Intern John's Chewy Forever in honor of Chewy,
who was the greatest dog of all time. We're doing
this because we want to help out other dogs and
huge thanks to the Fisher House we go to work
with in the past. They brought to our attention Warrior
Canine Connection and these folks are literally saving lives. So

(25:34):
what they do is they take puppies and train them
to be service dogs for veterans, which is one of
the coolest ideas. And I guess, like you don't really
think of like, oh, the service dogs have to come
from somewhere. They don't just you know, snap your fingers
and there they are. So these shows we're doing are
gonna benefit Warrior Canine Connections some more veterans can be
paired with service dogs because literally it's the least we

(25:55):
can do or right somebody who is served.

Speaker 4 (25:57):
And we got to see them in person training the
It was amazing, It was really cool.

Speaker 1 (26:01):
It was like, really really amazing to see.

Speaker 3 (26:03):
So if you want to go to the show's June
twentieth and twenty first Arlington Draft House, Arlington, VA, tickets
a fifteen bucks through on sale right now Internsgoncomedy dot com.
These are the only dates, so once these are gone,
it's gone for good. Internsgeoncomedy dot Com. I wanted to
get to this in a second as well. The tourist
traps that are actually worth it real quick to Shelby Sauce,

(26:27):
is there something that you are not splurging on as much.

Speaker 1 (26:29):
As you used to?

Speaker 2 (26:32):
I guess traveling? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (26:34):
Really, I think you still travel.

Speaker 3 (26:37):
Like to Okay, Okay, fair Rose, how about you close? Yeah,
I don't do it anymore. I think for me it's
delivery like food delivery. Oh yeah, that used to be
like I remember my first download Uber eats. It was
like during the pandemic, Like, you mean I can get
Chipotle whenever I watch Yeah, And now it's like, oh cool,
it's only it's seven dollars for the ball oh house,

(26:57):
how to build forty five dollars now?

Speaker 2 (26:58):
And it's like a few.

Speaker 3 (27:01):
And then it's Uber Eats is a great job of
hiding it until the end.

Speaker 4 (27:06):
I've been comparing that with DoorDash too, and sometimes I'll
do the same exact thing before I check out, and
one is like way more than the other for the
same exact thing.

Speaker 2 (27:14):
Yeah, that's an Ye.

Speaker 3 (27:16):
So they looked at how much we're trying to save
on overall, just in general beauty related stuff. We're not
spoiling on as much as uh.

Speaker 2 (27:26):
Yeah, I've been saying this.

Speaker 4 (27:27):
I feel a lot of people aren't getting their down
like they used to depends. It's like, I'm sorry, a
lot of hairstylists have outpraised themselves and I didn't realize
it until I was trying to find somebody new and
I'm like, this is actually insane.

Speaker 2 (27:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (27:39):
I contemplated just cutting my own hair. Yeah, like I
just started doing glazes in my own shower. Yeah, glazes
just like a gloss like on your it's you can
do the conditioner or shampoo ones. And yeah, I'm just
like I can't afford to be a human being.

Speaker 5 (27:54):
Do you remember those like people that would do the
caps to do oh yeah, highlights in their hair. Yes,
I've also contemplated doing not myself, but I feel like
that will look terrible.

Speaker 2 (28:04):
Don't do that.

Speaker 4 (28:05):
I'm not going I did that in high school to
I mean, I was also in high school. If I
did that to myself in high school, it did not
look great.

Speaker 3 (28:10):
Yeah, electronics made the list, Yeah, because the iPhones wisp
in the last update.

Speaker 4 (28:15):
Not only that, Like, i was talking the other day
to my friend about TVs. I'm like, when's the last
time that you were really like, I'm gonna buy myself
a new TV?

Speaker 2 (28:22):
Yeah, I don't know. I don't care. Also, we're just girls.
We don't care about.

Speaker 3 (28:27):
Buying you clothes made the list. Last one of these
dining out Yeah, so fair. If you want to add
one over text nine ninety three three eight It's intern
Johnny Morning Show. I was thinking back to, uh this year,
it's intern John in the Morning Show. I went to
Toronto and did the CN Tower, which is like, that's
like the tower.

Speaker 1 (28:45):
In Toronto was like in the skyline.

Speaker 3 (28:47):
Drake had the album there, and like, usually when I
go somewhere, I try to avoid like the tourist trap
place that's like everybody goes to. I will say, though,
this thing was dope because at night you're above the
skyline of the city obviously, so it looks like you're
looking down Lego World on most because you can see
it looks like you're fine. It's like, it was like,

(29:09):
it's very cool. You take the elevator up and kind
of shoots you up. There's a restaurant on top, and
then there's like a skydeck to view the whole city
of Toronto.

Speaker 1 (29:16):
It was very very cool.

Speaker 3 (29:17):
I want to know, what's the tourist trap that is
completely worth it in your experience nine nine three three
eight to tag Shelby Sauce for you. The tourist trap
that do you bend too? It's like, okay, this is cool.

Speaker 4 (29:28):
So like when you go to Atlanta, a lot of
people will go to pont City Market and everyone like
that lives in the city will mostly be like that's
a tourist trap. Like you'll go there sometimes for certain things,
but I live like directly across the street from it.
When I lived there, like my building like looked at it.
That's but I always thought it was really cool because
there were so many different restaurants and like the top
was a carnival year round. There's like Megoff, there's a speakeasy,

(29:51):
and there's also a bunch of shops and stuff.

Speaker 2 (29:53):
I just like genuinely always really liked it.

Speaker 1 (29:55):
Seepid question. So it's more like a shopping center then.

Speaker 4 (29:58):
So it used to be like an old Seer warehouse
that literally just like made into like this whole like, uh,
there's what's it called. There's the food uh food hall,
and there's lots of restaurants and in the shop that's awesome.

Speaker 1 (30:13):
Okay, that's like the tourists.

Speaker 2 (30:15):
Like the tourist strap in Atlanta.

Speaker 5 (30:17):
How about you Pike Place Market in Seattle. It was
really cool, like to see them throw yeah and the
first Starbucks that ever. Yeah, that place is always packed,
but it's really it was just really cool.

Speaker 2 (30:31):
To see and the space it's really awesome too.

Speaker 3 (30:33):
Yeah, I'll have the Mall of America as well, by
the way, hometown big because it's also kind of say this,
if you build them all, it should always be built
in like a circle, like the Mall of America. You
can walk around, take a full app it's fine. Like Tyson's,
there's dead ends randomly in places.

Speaker 2 (30:48):
Yeah okay, why yeah, yeah, doesn't make any sense.

Speaker 3 (30:52):
I want to hear yours though, What is the tourist trap?
There's absolutely one hundred ten percent worth it. Tech DM's
open at Wymous Radio. It is Internshohn in your morning show.
Oh there's so many good ones coming in Internsjohn in
your morning show. I wanted to know, what is the

(31:12):
tourist trap that is completely worth it? Like, yes, you
know it's a tourist trap. Yes you know it's a
money grab, but still worth it to go to nine
ninety three three eight de text DM's open at Wymous Radio.
It's going Rockville, Jamie, good morning.

Speaker 1 (31:30):
So for you, the tourist trap that's totally worth it?
What is it?

Speaker 2 (31:35):
Times Square, New York, YEP.

Speaker 3 (31:39):
Okay, I would say of all the tourist traps in America,
that might be the highest one, certainly.

Speaker 1 (31:44):
So why is it totally worth it? For you.

Speaker 7 (31:47):
I mean it's it's really just stores. There's nothing really
like amazing that you're gonna go see that's going to
change you. Uh, but it's really just cool to see
at night, you know.

Speaker 2 (32:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (32:00):
I think it's yeah, that's a good way.

Speaker 3 (32:02):
Yeah, it's not going to be like a spiritual change,
but it's like, oh that's kind of cool.

Speaker 2 (32:07):
Yeah, I get it.

Speaker 1 (32:08):
Okay, thank you so much for calling it a great day.

Speaker 7 (32:11):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (32:13):
You ever been to Times Square, Sauce?

Speaker 2 (32:14):
I was like ten eleven.

Speaker 1 (32:17):
Yeah, you've been back to the city, though, have you?

Speaker 4 (32:20):
I just New York City looks fun all that stuff. Sure,
I'd like to go again with friends. I just don't really.
I haven't like woken up one day like, well, let's
play a trip to New York. Like, there's so many
other places I would rather.

Speaker 2 (32:30):
Go than there.

Speaker 1 (32:31):
Yes, sir, that's fair. Let me go in Boston, Carrie,
good morning, Good morning.

Speaker 2 (32:35):
How are you doing well?

Speaker 1 (32:36):
Thank you?

Speaker 3 (32:37):
So in your travels, the one tourist trap that's absolutely
worth it, no matter what people say, is.

Speaker 2 (32:47):
The Grand Canyon.

Speaker 1 (32:49):
All right, how many times have you been?

Speaker 8 (32:52):
So I've been there like a total of like sixteen times.

Speaker 3 (32:57):
Oh really, okay, and so I guess people probably say
it's overrated because it's just it's a canyon.

Speaker 1 (33:04):
Is that fair?

Speaker 2 (33:06):
Never been?

Speaker 8 (33:07):
I mean, you know what's funny is that I think
it's something that you really can't understand how you know,
big and grade it is until you see it in person,
because pictures just don't do it justice. And no matter
how long you're there, you'll never see the entire thing.

Speaker 1 (33:22):
Yeah, I guess that's a good question. Yeah, let me
cut you off here.

Speaker 3 (33:25):
But going sixteen times, you obviously don't go to the
same part, right, You go to different parts of the canyon, different.

Speaker 2 (33:31):
But exactly.

Speaker 9 (33:32):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (33:32):
So it's like it's a new vacation every time.

Speaker 2 (33:35):
That's cool, That's very cool. It's different.

Speaker 1 (33:37):
Okay, all right, Carrie, thank you for listening. I have
a great day.

Speaker 8 (33:41):
Thanks you too.

Speaker 1 (33:42):
Grand Canyon is on my list of places to go.

Speaker 4 (33:45):
I'd never been to Arizona, so I've only been that
one time for my birthday, and it was so much fun.

Speaker 1 (33:51):
It looks sick.

Speaker 2 (33:51):
It was insane. One is gorgeous. I let me go
in Napolis.

Speaker 3 (33:55):
Jessica, good morning, good morning, A good one too, So
for you.

Speaker 1 (33:59):
The tourist trap that's totally worth.

Speaker 9 (34:00):
It is what.

Speaker 10 (34:03):
It's Niagara Falls. Like I know, it's a waterfall.

Speaker 3 (34:06):
But it's beautiful.

Speaker 11 (34:07):
It's huge.

Speaker 10 (34:09):
You can see it from the US side, you can
see it from.

Speaker 9 (34:11):
The Canada side.

Speaker 10 (34:12):
You can argue over which side is better.

Speaker 2 (34:14):
It's amazing. You gotta do it.

Speaker 3 (34:16):
It is true, like you've been there, sauce or no, okay,
because it is, like I mean, it is to your point, Jess,
it is a waterfall. It is, but I don't think
you fully appreciate like just how big it is until
you see it.

Speaker 1 (34:31):
Yeah, it's like, Okay.

Speaker 2 (34:33):
I see on TV and.

Speaker 3 (34:34):
They have like stories like people going over the falls
and like barrels like back in the day, like stunt people.

Speaker 12 (34:39):
What.

Speaker 1 (34:40):
Yeah, I did not know that, Jaska. Thank you for
listening to have a great day.

Speaker 13 (34:45):
Thanks you too.

Speaker 3 (34:46):
To be fair that my mom tells a story about
us going to a Niagara Falls, I guess, like I
think we did a road trip and we drove by
Tommy Gotha. My brother and I didn't want to get
out of the car to see it because we're.

Speaker 4 (34:57):
So crappy, especially if you're like kids.

Speaker 3 (35:01):
Yeah, and this is before like having TVs in the car. Yeah,
this is like game Boy back in the prime doing
it that way, so a little bit differently.

Speaker 4 (35:10):
And I think those are boys that, like you don't
care about the war fall.

Speaker 2 (35:13):
Yeah, yes, sorry.

Speaker 3 (35:15):
Let's go and Arnold Ali, good morning. That's a good
one too. So for you, Ali, the tourist trap, that's
totally worth it.

Speaker 2 (35:22):
As what.

Speaker 4 (35:23):
Vegas definitely, yeah, okay, and Vegas for.

Speaker 2 (35:27):
You Ali, because even if you're not really a gambler,
there's so much stuff to do.

Speaker 12 (35:33):
There's shows, there's food, there's so much entertainment.

Speaker 2 (35:36):
There's well you know the usual it's fun.

Speaker 3 (35:40):
Well yeah, there's that. But even to like this doesn't
sound nerdy. The lights are cool at night, Like it
is kind of like a I don't say beautiful as
a word, but like it is like it's cool. Yeah,
the fountains and that kind of stuff. Now let me
ask you this, Ali, have you been to the Titanic Museum.

Speaker 2 (35:58):
The Titanic Museum.

Speaker 3 (35:59):
Not Yeah, yeah, I've always like, oh I should go,
and I go by also in Vegas.

Speaker 1 (36:05):
So there's that. Ali, thank you so much for listening.
To have a great day.

Speaker 3 (36:10):
Last time I was in Vegas, they had just opened
up the Stranger Things store and that was really cool too.

Speaker 2 (36:15):
Oh I never have been.

Speaker 4 (36:16):
Yeah, so it's I mean, I know I haven't been
in Vegas actually since then.

Speaker 1 (36:19):
Yeah, it's dope.

Speaker 3 (36:20):
And that's simple thing about Vegas is there is stuff
there literally for everything.

Speaker 1 (36:25):
Everyone. Yeah, if you want to, you.

Speaker 3 (36:27):
Like continue over text nine ninety three three eight It
is intern Gion your morning show. He has been everywhere recently.
He opened up for US our jingle Ball grease show
two years ago. Then like the next week everything changed.
He blew up. He was at coach Hella for two weekends.

Speaker 1 (36:45):
Essa.

Speaker 3 (36:45):
Now anyuary, you can imagine this man has been Ben
sim boone coming to Baldemar Cfg Bank Arena.

Speaker 1 (36:52):
We are getting you in right now.

Speaker 3 (36:54):
Collar nine, good luck eight seven seven nine five four
six eight one. Getting to the bad roommate poker in
a second, real quick too. If you're planning on traveling
anytime soon. I thought this is kind of interesting, the
odd things that gets you flagged by TSA. Okay, starting
with if you're arguing or being aggressive, I mean yeah, yeah, yeah,

(37:17):
I may say for one thing, you might get stopped
just because you're being in jerk. I mean, you should
get stopped being je people get up set with the water,
so I can bring water like well, that's been the
case about thirty.

Speaker 2 (37:27):
Years, so it's been the case for a very long time.

Speaker 1 (37:28):
Yep. If you use way too much cologne or perfume.

Speaker 2 (37:32):
It will seem like you're trying to mass something.

Speaker 3 (37:34):
Yeah, they say they might think you're trying to mask
the smell of drugs. Sure, I feel like that makes
sense though, also makes I wouldn't thought of it until now,
but it kind of makes sense. Sure, if you're being
extra chatty with the TSA officers.

Speaker 4 (37:46):
Because legal you can tell you don't want to talk
to you most of the time, so why are you
trying to talk to them?

Speaker 1 (37:51):
Yeah, that's a f It would come across as being
a little bit suspicious.

Speaker 2 (37:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (37:54):
Yeah, they say, can get you pad down because they
might think you're trying to distract them.

Speaker 2 (37:58):
Yeah. I literally just don't talk unless they talk to me.

Speaker 1 (38:00):
That's fair.

Speaker 2 (38:01):
I'm like, yeah, I got this, Like I know how
to do this.

Speaker 3 (38:04):
My dad would we go to like Canada with like
customs officers. How we ever got flagged because he like,
don't say a sound and he would just look straight ahead,
and my dad we definitely were being more suspicious by
being quiet.

Speaker 4 (38:15):
That's like Dad's like trying to make jokes like that,
and then it makes everybody uncomfortable.

Speaker 2 (38:18):
So I'm like, can you just stop?

Speaker 3 (38:20):
Yes, not making eye contact might get you stopped as
a yeah.

Speaker 2 (38:24):
Okay, avoiding it that's the same ambitious.

Speaker 3 (38:27):
A sign of nervous said something hide. I mean, if
you're yawning a lot, that can get you stopped.

Speaker 4 (38:34):
Okay, but Gus is sleepy, I say, I'm usually just tired.

Speaker 3 (38:38):
So according to this airport management expert, he says, when
people are stressed, they tend to want more oxygen, and
that's why they'll all, oh.

Speaker 2 (38:46):
Well that makes sense. I'm stress all the time, but
not for any any reasons stressy, okay.

Speaker 3 (38:51):
My flight number one is this is kind of interesting
being dressed for the wrong weather. Oh so, if it's
like summer, you have a teamate layers on, could mean
you're trying to hide something. I mean that makes sense though,
I think.

Speaker 4 (39:05):
Yeah, if you're like in Miami flying to Mexico and
you're wearing literally like a down jacket, yeah weird.

Speaker 2 (39:12):
Yeah, I would think that's odd.

Speaker 1 (39:14):
You get a standout. Yes, it's intern Johnny Marshaw.

Speaker 3 (39:17):
That checking on Internshohn in your morning show. This is
what I wan do today, a round of bad roommate poker.
I was looking at some photos from a college dorm
days and we had a roommate who it was my
three buddy or two buddies, the three of us buddies,
and then a guy who was going to be our
fourth decided to transfer the summer, so the school gave
us somebody we didn't know any person. This person had

(39:40):
a habit of cooking things and then falling asleep while cooking.

Speaker 9 (39:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (39:45):
So there were several times where I was getting up
to go to the radio station in Minnesota and I
would walk in the kitchen and this person was passed
out on the futon while there was food on the shoves.
Oh my god. Yeah, I saved lives, baby percent sauce.
Bad roommate story.

Speaker 1 (40:02):
What she got?

Speaker 2 (40:02):
I don't really have any.

Speaker 4 (40:03):
Like my roommate in college was pretty dope, like we
all along for the most part. And uh, I mean
I lived my ex boyfriend for a while. Wow, And
I mean he just didn't clean the bathroom stuff other
than him like treating me badly, like as a roommate.
He wasn't horrible besides the fact that he just like
wouldn't clean the bathroom.

Speaker 1 (40:19):
But it wasn't that like his one responsibility.

Speaker 4 (40:21):
I'm like, yeah, that's all you gotta do, so like
that was like annoying. He played video games all the time.
But I like, I don't have a horror story though,
is what I'm telling you.

Speaker 1 (40:29):
But the bathroom though, that is it's like you have one,
yeah job.

Speaker 2 (40:32):
To do everything else like.

Speaker 3 (40:34):
You can't do it. Yeah, that's a problem. Okay, I
rose badroommate story.

Speaker 5 (40:37):
What I had a roommate, Well, okay, I had a
roommate that I wasn't in a relationship with, and she
was great. The person that I was in a relationship
at the time terrible because he didn't have a job,
so he wasn't friends.

Speaker 2 (40:53):
He didn't do anything around the house like the sauce,
but just played video games. Like yeah, really just just terrible.

Speaker 3 (40:59):
Yeah that's fair. Let me hear yours. What's your hand
for bad roommate poker? Can you top any of these?
Even if, by the way, you still live with the
person could be your spouse.

Speaker 1 (41:09):
They could be, but you can love them.

Speaker 2 (41:11):
They're not a bad roommate.

Speaker 1 (41:12):
Yeah, we can love them.

Speaker 3 (41:13):
There's those paying the butt a nine nine three eight
to text DMS open at YMS radio. It is the
check in on intern John your morning show. That check
in on intern John in your morning show is our
chance to hear from you here about your life, here
about what goes on with you today. We're doing bad

(41:33):
roommate Poker. What's the story about a current roommate or
a pass roommate?

Speaker 1 (41:38):
Where you go?

Speaker 3 (41:39):
My goodness, how was this person raised? Nine ninety three
three eight to text DMS open at YMS radio.

Speaker 1 (41:47):
Let's go and fed Hill.

Speaker 2 (41:49):
Gail, Good morning, Good morning.

Speaker 3 (41:52):
So this was a roommate right out of college. Did
we know this person prior or was it like an
arranged marriage so to speak?

Speaker 2 (42:00):
No, it was an arranged marriage so to speak.

Speaker 14 (42:02):
So I met her when we when we started living together.

Speaker 3 (42:05):
Okay, and the reason she is your hand for bad
roommate Poker. She would do what.

Speaker 2 (42:13):
She would eat all of my leftovers.

Speaker 7 (42:15):
But it was but it wasn't.

Speaker 14 (42:18):
Like like she would just eat the leftovers and then
I wouldn't find it in the fridge. She would eat
the leftovers by like just taking like these little mouth bites,
just like these.

Speaker 2 (42:26):
Little mini bites.

Speaker 14 (42:27):
You know, she'd eat like the front of the pizza
and then just like leaf, put it right back into
the refrigerator with She was absolutely horrid.

Speaker 2 (42:35):
Hell yeah.

Speaker 3 (42:37):
I mean, do you think she was doing it because
she didn't want you to realize?

Speaker 1 (42:41):
Or is that how she ate in general?

Speaker 14 (42:45):
You know what I'm gonna say, it's how she ate
in general. Or I think she was just drunk or something,
you know, so she would come in you know. The
worst thing is like when she would do it like
with like yogurt and stuff like that.

Speaker 2 (42:56):
You yeah, single, okay, exactly exactly.

Speaker 1 (43:03):
How long did it take you to realize this was happening?

Speaker 14 (43:07):
I want to say like a week a week into
us living together.

Speaker 2 (43:13):
You know, it's awful.

Speaker 14 (43:14):
It was awful because I was figuring. I was like,
is there something like a little leprechaon coming into Yeah?

Speaker 2 (43:22):
You know, you know, actually like a couple of weeks.
That's a couple of weeks, okay.

Speaker 14 (43:26):
I wanted to give her the benefit of a doubt.

Speaker 1 (43:28):
No, I understand, Gail. Can I put you in hold
one second?

Speaker 2 (43:31):
Sure thing?

Speaker 3 (43:32):
Now?

Speaker 1 (43:32):
I real quick.

Speaker 3 (43:33):
I had a similar situation in college with a roommate,
one of my roommates, he would always get Rocky Road
ice cream is his chocolate and has like nuts in
it and has marshmallows in it.

Speaker 1 (43:43):
He was very protective of it.

Speaker 3 (43:44):
Okay, somebody and to this day, Shelby Sauce, I'm not
certain whom would always go into his Rocky Road ice
cream and eat up the marshmallows.

Speaker 4 (43:54):
That sounds like such a pain for how small those
containers are.

Speaker 1 (43:57):
It was a big one. It's like a big like.

Speaker 4 (44:00):
You're just like taking like a little like nibblets out
of it.

Speaker 1 (44:03):
Like it was messed up. And Brett was very upset.
He was very upset.

Speaker 2 (44:08):
That's a foul.

Speaker 4 (44:10):
It's not like you're like going in to the tips
or like text mix and taking out like what I
did with my roommate in college. I took out all
the bagel pieces. I didn't know she liked them. I
that she did, so she was very upset.

Speaker 3 (44:22):
Go in Crofton Chelsea, good morning, Good morning. Alright, so
your hand bad roommate poker. This is shortly after college. Correct, Yes,
what happened?

Speaker 15 (44:36):
I had a roommate who had guys over all the time,
which I mean fine, like you know, do you? But
they wouldn't leave like she would leave.

Speaker 2 (44:46):
She would go to work. They would stay at the
apartment after.

Speaker 4 (44:50):
Like they like hung out, like in like the the
living areas.

Speaker 2 (44:53):
I guess you would say.

Speaker 15 (44:55):
Yes, yes, like it was bad, like if she's gonna leave,
like you should go.

Speaker 2 (45:00):
If you're not paying rent, you should go.

Speaker 3 (45:03):
Like he's just like hanging out using your space, Chelsea.
Were these dudes that she knew beforehand? Or was she
picking up like randos at the bar, because that's even
weirder if it's like a stranger there.

Speaker 2 (45:14):
You know, it would be back and forth.

Speaker 15 (45:16):
Some of them would be like regulars, and then every
now and then you have a crazy one come in nowhere.

Speaker 1 (45:22):
Yeah, you just walk in the kitchen and the guys like, hey,
I'm Trey.

Speaker 15 (45:24):
Hello was here with exactly like oh okay, well don't
touch my suit.

Speaker 3 (45:29):
Yeah, you guys are out of milk? Oh god, yeah,
that'd be a no go for me. All right, Chelsea,
can I put you in hold one second?

Speaker 2 (45:38):
Absolutely?

Speaker 1 (45:39):
Kind of the same but different.

Speaker 3 (45:40):
In college, my buddy would have his girlfriend over and
she was fine whatever, but like then he would go
to class and she would just stay in the communal area,
but wearing his robe. I would come back from working
at the radio station Minnesota and she'd just be there
in the living room.

Speaker 1 (45:56):
In his robe.

Speaker 2 (45:57):
That's so weird and and.

Speaker 3 (45:59):
Like yet because like kind of like what she was saying,
we feel comfortable hanging out in her own place.

Speaker 1 (46:04):
I would just stay in my room.

Speaker 3 (46:05):
Yeah, I was like, I don't want to talk to
you anyway, but certainly not well in his robe.

Speaker 2 (46:10):
Yeah, definitely not.

Speaker 1 (46:11):
You have your own place.

Speaker 2 (46:12):
Don't you have your own dorm room? Why are you
hanging out here?

Speaker 3 (46:15):
For sure? Let me go in Craft and Hartburg good morning? Oh,
I would drive me crazy right your hand for bad
roommate poker?

Speaker 1 (46:24):
What happened?

Speaker 8 (46:27):
So I had a roommate who like was religious about
not locking the door okay, okay, like the front door
with your.

Speaker 2 (46:37):
Place, yes, like the entrance, Like would they.

Speaker 1 (46:41):
Forget or like intentionally be like, nah, I don't, I
don't want to lock it.

Speaker 8 (46:45):
I feel like every time I would bring it up,
she would make it seem as though she forgot, and
that next time she would do it. But just I mean,
this went on for so long. I just eventually I
realized that this.

Speaker 6 (46:55):
Is a character trait.

Speaker 3 (46:56):
Yeah, yeah, okay, it's so what happened.

Speaker 8 (47:01):
Well, I mean we ended up getting robbed, but you know,
like what you think happened when you leave your door
unlocked and thankfully, I mean I don't mean to be
like rude about it, but none of my.

Speaker 2 (47:10):
Stuff got taken.

Speaker 1 (47:11):
I mean.

Speaker 2 (47:13):
Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 3 (47:14):
Just first off, okay, so after after the robbery, did
she start locking the door?

Speaker 6 (47:20):
No?

Speaker 1 (47:21):
What what dude?

Speaker 2 (47:23):
That is?

Speaker 8 (47:24):
And honestly, I said, look, I don't feel bad.

Speaker 7 (47:26):
For you for whatever happens.

Speaker 2 (47:27):
I'm sorry.

Speaker 3 (47:30):
How can you that that that that'd be infering because
it's like, hey, my safety is at risk because you
won't lock the day.

Speaker 2 (47:36):
It's just so easy to do.

Speaker 3 (47:37):
Yeah, they give you a key. In fact, they give
you locks as well. Okay, can I put you on
hold one second? Sure, if one of my roommates ever
left the door unlocked and my stuff got stolen, you
would need to especially if we had the conversation about like,
hey we're gonna get robbed, we're going to get robbed,
we're going to get robbed, and then.

Speaker 1 (47:56):
Hey, guess what happened.

Speaker 4 (47:58):
We got robbed. That wouldn't be we would not be
roommates any and I would.

Speaker 3 (48:02):
Want money back, plus like all the files and stuff too,
and the butt us going Frederick Ashley, good morning.

Speaker 2 (48:09):
Hi.

Speaker 1 (48:10):
First of all, what's dog's name?

Speaker 7 (48:12):
Yeah, there's actually two.

Speaker 9 (48:15):
It's Pickle and Pistachio.

Speaker 1 (48:17):
Wait what kind of dog? What kind of dog?

Speaker 10 (48:21):
And pickles full name is Pickle Rick if that means anything?

Speaker 2 (48:24):
Abs, there's little Doodles.

Speaker 10 (48:29):
They're Australian Shepherd poodle mixes little teddy bears.

Speaker 2 (48:32):
There, Well, I love.

Speaker 3 (48:35):
Now we're going to assume that Pickles and Pistachio we're
not the bad roommates, but your bad roommate.

Speaker 1 (48:39):
What happened to Ashley?

Speaker 10 (48:42):
This was a college situation where I had a girl
that we were sharing a dorm and she would just
borrow my clothes without asking, and and she would put
them back so that like I wouldn't notice, only I
totally knew, because she was a larger size than me,
put the clothes on and they would be stretched out
and not been anymore.

Speaker 3 (49:03):
That would make me crazy, Yeah, because at that point
it's basically ruined, right.

Speaker 10 (49:10):
Yeah, if you want it to look good, yeah.

Speaker 3 (49:12):
Yeah, okay, And so did you ever confront her be
like yo, what are we doing?

Speaker 10 (49:20):
No, I'm too much of a what's for that?

Speaker 1 (49:24):
I understand?

Speaker 3 (49:25):
Okay, I'm gonna put you in hold. Make sure you
get pickles and mustachio scratches for us.

Speaker 2 (49:29):
Okay, yes, I will.

Speaker 1 (49:32):
You ever had a friend borrow clothes that you knowing?

Speaker 4 (49:35):
Yeah, when I was in college, my roommate or I
don't even think it was my roommate.

Speaker 2 (49:38):
I think it was like the girl down the hall.

Speaker 4 (49:39):
She had borrowed some of my clothes, and I remember
when I came back, I was really mad about it.
Oh yeah, I had my friends borrow clothes never bring
them back. And now I'm like, no, you're not taking
my clothes.

Speaker 1 (49:49):
Would you rather have him borrow it, never bring it back,
or borrow it and stretch it out.

Speaker 2 (49:52):
Borrow it, never bring borrow and stretch it out, so
I could like try to.

Speaker 3 (49:56):
Fix it, Yes, sir, that sir, go Ashley, good morning
more alright, So bad roommate poker. So it's funny. The
screen says, she was very nice except for this. What'd
she do?

Speaker 14 (50:08):
Okay, it wasn't really her per se, it was her boyfriend.

Speaker 2 (50:11):
Okay, Yeah, he was a.

Speaker 12 (50:13):
Musician, which is all well, and good, you know, free shows,
groupies whatever.

Speaker 2 (50:18):
But if the band's good. But this girl would.

Speaker 12 (50:21):
Play his music like all day, all night and rant
and rave about how great he was. He was like
her biggest She was like his biggest groupie.

Speaker 3 (50:29):
She would like unlike Alexa or a Bluetooth Speak or whatever,
just be jamming out to his music all time.

Speaker 2 (50:35):
Yeah. Yeah, Like even when we were like we would like.

Speaker 12 (50:38):
Try to clean and like make it fun, so we'd
play music and every single time she would just put
his band on and we would be like vaccinating to
like this death metal.

Speaker 2 (50:46):
Stuff that was just it would be okay if they
were good.

Speaker 12 (50:49):
I don't have a problems metal, but to god, oh
my god, it was so bad.

Speaker 1 (50:52):
That's fair? All right? Can I put you in hold
one second?

Speaker 2 (50:56):
Of course?

Speaker 3 (50:57):
I would love to hear yours over text nine nine
three three eight. It is interns Jeon in your morning show.
We appreciate you hanging on This Thursday. It is Internsjeon
and your Morning show Sauce. Hello, Rose, Hi, good morning, gots.
Eric here, got hoodie and severas well. By the way,
taking bets because this weekend Eric and I will be
in the same football as they call it in England stadium.

(51:20):
Will be will be, will be in England. We'll be
in the same town England. We'll be in the same block,
in the same building as each other. Yeah, will we
see each other?

Speaker 2 (51:29):
I don't think so, you know.

Speaker 3 (51:31):
I I've extended the Owl branch every day. Yeah, but like, hey,
my dad's gonna be there. It's be a lot of
Funber going to Manu soccer game, Like Eric, come say hi,
we'll see, We'll see. You can put your bets in
nine ninety three three eight to text. One of the
roses comes in a second and wanted to get to
this real quick. To USA today was talking about the
green flags that a workplace is actually healthy for you, sauce.

(51:56):
I mean, obviously, hopefully nobody here is looking for a
new job anytime soon. But you walk into a place,
how can you tell us an actually healthy workplace?

Speaker 4 (52:03):
So there have been times where I like, moved to
a different job and right away someone tells me They're like, well, yeah,
so like this person this person, And I'm like, I don't, like,
you do want to know maybe the office gossip like
what like who to avoid? But I don't want to
know my first day like if you're telling me my
first day, I'm like, I probably.

Speaker 2 (52:20):
Don't want to work here. Yeah that's good turnover rates.

Speaker 5 (52:24):
Sure, I want to know at the position I'm taking
one did they leave on their own accord or were
they promoted? Like what why is this position available?

Speaker 1 (52:36):
I like that too.

Speaker 3 (52:37):
For me, it was always my first started here. It
was nice that people came here and deced themselves to me.
I think that was nice because I didn't know anybody. Yeah,
and even like the first couple of days, he bo
kept giving me their names again, which I thought was
like helpful because yeah, that was a huge So according
to the job experts, so they say sixty seven percent
of Americans, the other job environment is toxic.

Speaker 4 (52:59):
Okay, crazy, I mean it's learned by people that don't
deserve to be in management, but they've just been there
so long they get promoted.

Speaker 1 (53:07):
I would disagree, Yeah, don't like.

Speaker 3 (53:08):
Yeah, I do think too, as every bad boss probably
felt that once they got to be a boss, people
just homactually respect them and they didn't have to work
to maintain those relationships.

Speaker 1 (53:18):
And that's just not how it works. It just isn't.

Speaker 3 (53:20):
Uh So, according to the expert Inclusion Fair play and
reasonable hours is one of the top things in the list. Okay,
so healthy workplace doesn't discriminate, it's inclusive histories, everybody fairly
and equally.

Speaker 2 (53:32):
Okay, yeah, okay. Sure.

Speaker 1 (53:34):
Leadership that communicates made the list.

Speaker 2 (53:37):
I would love that. I love a good communicator when
you're like, you know, a boss. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (53:41):
They say this includes addressing concerns of workers being accessible
and transparent, as well as helping employees feel seen and heard.

Speaker 4 (53:49):
I think that's important because then you start bottling stuff
up and then it just makes it more toxic.

Speaker 3 (53:53):
Well yeah, and then when you get the thun on
your head of like, it's not even worth bringing up
to the boss because.

Speaker 4 (53:57):
Nothing's going to happen, especially if someone else you work
with brings up something that you've been upset about and
then then it just turns into a gossipy, toxic thing.

Speaker 1 (54:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (54:06):
No, for sure. If there is a clear path for growth, yes,
I mean yeah.

Speaker 4 (54:11):
If you can actually see it and you feel like
you can, you know, keep moving on up, that's great.

Speaker 2 (54:16):
Love that.

Speaker 3 (54:16):
I think that's the problem too, is so many people
have been in jobs probably go well back in my day,
it's like yeah, but in your day there were more
opportunities to grow. Those opportunities just don't really exist same
mark as technology and budgets and all that stuff. So yeah,
so when employees have a solid understanding of how to
earn promotion, that makes a healthy workplace.

Speaker 2 (54:37):
I'll disagreed absent.

Speaker 1 (54:38):
Sure, having a flexibility at work is a.

Speaker 4 (54:41):
Huge thing, Okay, especially because a lot of jobs you
really don't need to be there eight hours. So if
you can, like just if you have you know, life,
because it's sometimes it's like hard to make doctors pointments
before work and dad. So it's like if you just
have that flexibility where it's like I've seen these accounts
where they're like a boss and they're like, yeah, I
don't make people putting sick days, just go to the doctor.

Speaker 1 (55:02):
Yeah, it's like it's.

Speaker 2 (55:03):
Physical or something. She's like, you get your work done. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (55:06):
They say, whether it's allowing for a flexibility of hours
or understanding with sick kidneys he picked up from school, Yeah,
that's yeah, basic stuff.

Speaker 1 (55:14):
Sure.

Speaker 3 (55:14):
And the last one is say space is to speak up.
So mons Or data shows seventy seven percent of workers
have witnessed negative negativity in the workplace twenty eight percent
didn't feel comfortable reporting to HR you having a say space,
speak up.

Speaker 2 (55:27):
Yeah, you don't want to feel like you're gonna be punished, No.

Speaker 3 (55:29):
Of course not if you want to add some over
text nine to nine at three three eight, Catching at Cheaters,
War of the Roses comes next at Internshion your Morning show,
War of the Rosies.

Speaker 1 (55:42):
On interns John in your Morning Show. Here's how it works.

Speaker 3 (55:46):
You think your person may be cheating, and by the way,
we don't discriminate. You could be together for a day,
you could be together for one hundred years. Doesn't really
matter if you are committed to them and you don't
think they are to you. We try to get to
the bottom of things. That's why we do this. Andrea,
good morning, Good morning. Your situation with Miles is a

(56:07):
little interesting. You guys have been together for how long?

Speaker 2 (56:12):
Three years? Okay years?

Speaker 3 (56:14):
In your email you say you have no concrete proof
that he is cheating. Correct, correct, yeah, exactly, but but yeah, after.

Speaker 12 (56:24):
You well, we've been together for years and like Smiles
was just an outgoing guy, but he used to be
more than outgoing. He used to just be like super
flirty with every woman, including me. But when we first

(56:45):
got together. After about six months, I caught him cheating.

Speaker 3 (56:50):
Okay, yeah, it just still works clear, like you know,
bloody hand whatever, Like no doubt.

Speaker 2 (56:57):
He was cheating. Wasn't like he was flirty. It was
this was this cross the line.

Speaker 12 (57:02):
No, we found I found panties in his outd.

Speaker 2 (57:09):
So that was two and a half years ago.

Speaker 6 (57:12):
Yeah, and you know, honestly, like it was a huge right.

Speaker 12 (57:15):
We worked through it though, and honestly, like he totally changed,
like he became all about me.

Speaker 2 (57:27):
He really like doubled.

Speaker 12 (57:29):
Down on being a good boyfriend. And honestly it means
a lot to me. But like lately, in the last
couple of months, I noticed, like, oh he's more flirty again,
Like he's really charming those ladies at work.

Speaker 6 (57:47):
And I don't know, I just found out that, uh, he's.

Speaker 12 (57:53):
Been going out and there were work happy hours that
he didn't tell me about. Like that's been a number
of yeah, exactly. And there's been a number of times
where like he goes out with his boys, and I.

Speaker 14 (58:05):
Just like I can't get a hold of him.

Speaker 2 (58:08):
I'm trying to like reach him. No answer.

Speaker 3 (58:11):
I don't let me cut you off, Andrew, But just
so we know the person that he cheated with. Do
you know who she is and how she knew him?

Speaker 12 (58:19):
Like?

Speaker 1 (58:19):
Is it somebody in a circle? Was it just a random?

Speaker 9 (58:21):
No?

Speaker 12 (58:21):
No, no, I have no idea. I think it was
just like a random This is like two and a
half years ago.

Speaker 6 (58:26):
Okay, but that also drives.

Speaker 12 (58:29):
Me crazy, right like I don't know exactly who it was?

Speaker 1 (58:32):
Sure, okay?

Speaker 3 (58:33):
And so now here we are, we're, you know, two
and a half years later, and I guess you're at
the point where you can't tell are the same patterns
happening or is your brain not tricking you? But perhaps
those wounds haven't healed and you're worried about the sad exactly,
so exactly I get that, and listen for we've always
said with roses, it's like it's better rip off the
band aid and just find out versus always wonder.

Speaker 1 (58:56):
So let's do this exactly.

Speaker 2 (58:58):
No doubt.

Speaker 6 (58:59):
It's three I don't want to be wasting my.

Speaker 2 (59:01):
Life, understand.

Speaker 3 (59:02):
So we'll have Sauce call from the flower company, offer
him the roses. They should go to you, girlfriend of
three years. If they go to you, we put them
on hold. See what you want to do. If they
go to somebody else. We'll get some answers for you.

Speaker 12 (59:12):
Okay, thank you, Yeah, all right, somebody else, Like we're done.

Speaker 6 (59:18):
No.

Speaker 3 (59:18):
I understood War the Roses in just over three minutes
on Intern John the Morning Show. So War the Rosies
on Intern John in your morning show, Andrea, let me
recap this. You and Miles been together about three years.
Very early on in the relationship, there was some cheating.
You found some undies in his bed that aren't yours,
that weren't his, and he kind of admitted to Yeah,

(59:41):
I was doing stuff I shouldn't do. We thought we
had bury that in the past. However, you think he's
been doing things recently that kind of reminds you of
those times he's hard to get hold of. He's uh mentioned, Yeah,
for sure, he's mentioned. Or you found out rather about
work happy hours that you were invited to like that.

Speaker 1 (01:00:00):
That's kind of fair, right.

Speaker 3 (01:00:04):
The question I want to know is when you found
out that he did cheat back in the day, did
you tell friends and family?

Speaker 6 (01:00:14):
Yeah, okay, yeah, it was really really upset.

Speaker 3 (01:00:17):
I understood, and so did friends and family tell you
to dump him?

Speaker 2 (01:00:22):
Some did?

Speaker 12 (01:00:23):
Some the ones that knew him were like yeah, but
you know, he's really flirty, like that's his thing, if.

Speaker 2 (01:00:30):
He's serious about you.

Speaker 1 (01:00:32):
Flirty different than.

Speaker 12 (01:00:36):
Yeah, because the majority of people were like, girl, what.

Speaker 2 (01:00:39):
Are you doing? Why are you?

Speaker 6 (01:00:41):
So?

Speaker 2 (01:00:41):
I had a few that were like.

Speaker 1 (01:00:42):
You know, sure?

Speaker 3 (01:00:45):
So I guess what I'm getting to is two points. So,
prior to this recent string of suspicious activity, were your
friends and family support of the relationship, Like after the
cheating came out, have they been support of the last
two and a half years roughly?

Speaker 12 (01:01:00):
I mean, the truth is that some of them still
are suspicious of him and don't like him.

Speaker 3 (01:01:08):
And this leads to my foul question. Have you brought
up these recent suspicions to your friends and family?

Speaker 12 (01:01:15):
Honestly, I didn't because I just didn't want to have
the conversation again, understand.

Speaker 6 (01:01:22):
Yeah, It's like, look, this is between.

Speaker 12 (01:01:25):
Him and me ultimately, and already a lot of people
in my life don't love that I'm with him. Sure,
but it's been two and a half years. Sure since
that incident, we've been together three.

Speaker 3 (01:01:38):
Years, understand, so let's do this. I love that, I understand.
So what sauce call from the flower company, off from
the roses? They should go to you girlfriend of three years.
If they go to you, we put them on hold.
Suit you want to do if they go to somebody
else that would try to get some answers for you. Okay, okay, okay,
it's all gonn work. I promise, let's get him on

(01:01:59):
real quick.

Speaker 1 (01:02:00):
Hold on.

Speaker 2 (01:02:11):
Hello. Hello, I'm calling for Miles. Uh Hi, Miles. My
name is Shelby.

Speaker 4 (01:02:17):
I'm calling you from Wymus Flowers and you actually won
our contests of the week, so we want to give
to you a dozen red roses. Congratulations. We just want
to try to get those out today. If you could
just give me the name of who you want to
send them to. We're a new local flower shop. We're
called Wymss Flowers. We have QR codes around downtown, so

(01:02:38):
maybe that's how you entered. But we give away flowers
of Buquy weekly just to try to get people to
come back in the community. So hopefully you're sending them local.
But if you want to send them around the US,
totally cool. We just don't need your credit card info,
we just need who you're sending them to in the address.

Speaker 11 (01:02:53):
Okay, I don't remember ever entering any contest for flowers.

Speaker 4 (01:02:57):
Maybe you just scan the QR code and didn't realize
and it entered you. I'm not sure. But if you
don't want them, totally cool. I can move on to
the next person in my list. But they are free
bouquet a dozen red roses, so I mean you can
make someone stay for free. We just hope that you
love the flowers and you come back to us.

Speaker 11 (01:03:15):
Really, you're not gonna ask you for my credit card
or anything.

Speaker 2 (01:03:18):
You don't need your credit card, none of that.

Speaker 4 (01:03:20):
We're just trying to hope that people realize that we're
a new flower shop. Now the holiday season's over, and
you come back, you know, maybe summer at someone's birthday
and just you know, support a new local business, help
your local economy.

Speaker 2 (01:03:31):
If you love, no strings attached, No, we just hope
you like us. That's really the only string we hope
stays attached.

Speaker 4 (01:03:38):
I guess you could say okay, and you're on me
and my ex boyfriend named Miles. So if you don't
want the flowers, totally cool. He didn't send me flowers either,
but I mean they're free and they're pretty. My mom
puts together a gorgeous bouquet of red roses.

Speaker 11 (01:03:56):
All right, Well, if you don't want any credit card
for or anything, I guess I know.

Speaker 4 (01:04:04):
The only thing we're gonna do is make you a
little file in case you come back and send them
again to the same person, just so then we can
be like, oh, so and so your wife, hutt span
whatever you know? Okay, yeah, So can I get the
name of who you're signing them to?

Speaker 2 (01:04:19):
Yeah, the name is Andrea. Okay? Is that just a
N D R E A. Yes? Cool?

Speaker 4 (01:04:26):
And then what is she to you? Your your girlfriend, wife, friend, sister?

Speaker 11 (01:04:31):
It's girlfriend?

Speaker 2 (01:04:32):
Cool? Congrats? Love that?

Speaker 4 (01:04:34):
And what do you want the card to say? It's
just your typical flower card.

Speaker 11 (01:04:39):
Okay, it might sound a little different, but how about
this will probably start a fight, but I'm sending them anyway.

Speaker 2 (01:04:51):
Love Miles.

Speaker 4 (01:04:53):
Okay, sorry, that's cool. Past regressive for sure, but I'm
sending them anyway.

Speaker 2 (01:04:59):
Yes, love Miles.

Speaker 4 (01:05:03):
You want love or heart, I'll put lovell of love? Yeah,
we want love?

Speaker 2 (01:05:07):
All right?

Speaker 4 (01:05:07):
Do you mind have I play on whole while we
get these together and then I'll get the address.

Speaker 2 (01:05:11):
All right, thank you, You're welcome.

Speaker 3 (01:05:14):
Andrea, so we can we can hang up, pretend it happen,
or we can talk to him.

Speaker 1 (01:05:19):
What do you want to do.

Speaker 6 (01:05:22):
Let's talk to him.

Speaker 12 (01:05:24):
To be honest, like, I'm so relieved that he put
me and that is kind of funny. It is progressive,
but it's funny, and like, I'm just really relieved that
Hey you sid me.

Speaker 3 (01:05:37):
Okay, hold one second, Hey Miles, Hey man, my name
is intern John. I got saw some rose here as well.
We're doing a War of the Roses on the show.
Needs to know you that got your girlfriend Andrea on
the other line. If you want to say, hello.

Speaker 2 (01:05:54):
Hi, babe, nail it Miles.

Speaker 1 (01:05:57):
The reason we're here.

Speaker 3 (01:05:58):
Andrea had thought that maybe you were stepping out again,
and that's why she wanted to do War the Roses.
I got to asked that card seems kind of passive, aggressive,
a little bit, a little bit.

Speaker 11 (01:06:09):
Well, you know, I'm just tired of her micromanaging me.

Speaker 2 (01:06:13):
So okay, what does that?

Speaker 6 (01:06:17):
That?

Speaker 2 (01:06:17):
Okay?

Speaker 12 (01:06:21):
So so.

Speaker 2 (01:06:26):
By Joe micro.

Speaker 11 (01:06:32):
When we first started dating a couple of years ago,
I kind of pooled around with somebody else and yeah,
you're okay, well, you know, and I just feel like
she doesn't trust me anymore, and uh, you know, just
tired of it. So I mean, I'm still with her.

Speaker 3 (01:06:51):
Still, but like if you it doesn't sound like you're
happy in the relationship, so why stay in it?

Speaker 2 (01:06:59):
Yeah? Oh I am happy. It's okay.

Speaker 4 (01:07:05):
You Seliger is going through the emotions and you don't
want to be here, which I get, but like, why
stay in it?

Speaker 12 (01:07:11):
Then?

Speaker 2 (01:07:11):

Speaker 3 (01:09:19):
Got your headline of the day. Next on intern John
is your Morning Show. Let's do this your headline of
the day on Intern John in your Morning Show. Craziest
headline from the last twenty four to forty eight hours.
Mount Fuji climber rescue twice after going back for lost
cell phone.

Speaker 2 (01:09:38):
Oh my god.

Speaker 1 (01:09:41):
One, I mean yeah, once maybe, but twice, my guy.

Speaker 3 (01:09:43):
So, the twenty seven year old student climb out Fuji
outside of its official climbing season, was rescued twice in
four days after he returned to look.

Speaker 1 (01:09:53):
For his mobile phone.

Speaker 2 (01:09:54):
Oh my god.

Speaker 3 (01:09:55):
The student was first rescue by helicopter on Tuesday. While
on the trail, which it's about nine thousand feet above
sea level, he was unable to descend the trail off free.
He lost his crampings, which are a spike device attached
to the bobby climbing shoes for traction.

Speaker 1 (01:10:09):
What I'm saying that right?

Speaker 3 (01:10:10):
But days later he returns the mountain to achieve belongings
he left behind, including his phone. So they rescued him. Yeah,
and he's like, hey, but my phone. They're like, yeah,
you damn mountain. So then he goes, Okay, well my
phone's still up there. Yeah, I learned more this time,
so now I can go back and get my phone
and stuff.

Speaker 2 (01:10:28):
Yeah, they should make him pay for the helicopter.

Speaker 1 (01:10:30):
Well here's here's the other thing. Your phone's probably dead.

Speaker 2 (01:10:34):
Yeah, so we're not even work again.

Speaker 3 (01:10:37):
In like, I'm gonna be honest with you. Of all
places to lose his phone, mountain is probably the safest
because nobody else is going to find it and go
I'm stealing this.

Speaker 1 (01:10:45):
Well yeah, they're trying to live.

Speaker 2 (01:10:47):
But the elements ruined it.

Speaker 4 (01:10:48):
So it's like, also, that's gonna be hard to find
if again is dead.

Speaker 3 (01:10:52):
So he was first rescued on a Tuesday, rescued again
on Saturday after suffering from altitude sickness.

Speaker 2 (01:10:58):
Okay, I mean yeah that happens mountains. Yeah, m m uh.

Speaker 3 (01:11:02):
They say, due to harsh conditions, people are discouraged from
climbing Mount Fuji outside the official climbing season that starts
in early July and ends in September.

Speaker 2 (01:11:11):
My man is what hell? Hell?

Speaker 1 (01:11:13):
Early?

Speaker 3 (01:11:14):
It would be funny though, if he turned his phone
on and it's like, no miss calls, no mistext like
nobody was hitting his ass up.

Speaker 1 (01:11:21):
Do you know what I mean?

Speaker 6 (01:11:22):
Why?

Speaker 2 (01:11:22):
Also, why was he climbing alone? That's well, there is that.

Speaker 3 (01:11:25):
Following the man's rescue, police have reiterated their advice against
climbing the mountain during off season, as weather could suddenly
change make it hard for rescuers to respond. Yeah, they
also didn't say how medical people found him, So he
must have gone with somebody, like one of his buddies
must have been to call. But also like, that's why
having good friends is important to say, hey, dude, I'll

(01:11:45):
buy you new phone. Yes, it's your headline of the
day on Interns Johnny Morning Show if you get a chance.
The voting is oh but by the way, huge thanks
to everybody who nominated this show for a bunch of
different categories. Baltimore's Son has their Best of Baltimore voting
going on right now. It is very cool to be nominated.
I know it sounds really cheesy when celebrities say that

(01:12:08):
at award shows, Okay, but for us, like, it's a
very cool thing because it was done by people who
listen to the show. The show is up for a
bunch of different awards. There is a Radio Personality of
the Year. There's best podcast, there's best social Media. You
can vote on all of these and it means a
lot to us. If you get a chance today and
you need to kill some time, vote yms dot com.

That's vote yms dot com. Got your second date update
coming next, Hang on, appreciate you hanging out on this Thursday.
It is intern John in your morning show. I hope
to see you by the way, June twentieth. In June
twenty first, we announced this last week Intern John's Chewy Forever.
It's a weekend of stand up shows and this cause

(01:12:52):
for this particular group of shows very special to me.
It's benefiting the Warrior Canine Connection. If you are unfamiliar,
they are an amazing group based right in Darnstone, like
right down the road. And what they do is they
take puppies and they train to be service dogs for veterans,
which is huge. And not only that, they have veterans
trained the dogs, which is like even kind of like

(01:13:13):
a double dip of help.

Speaker 1 (01:13:14):
I guess if that makes sense.

Speaker 4 (01:13:15):
It's cool because they also train the dog for you
for what you might specifically.

Speaker 1 (01:13:20):
Need, yeah, which is amazing.

Speaker 4 (01:13:21):
It was just really cool to hear the stories about
you know, maybe they had lost a limb or something,
so they taught dogs how to retrieve things and it
was just really yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:13:29):
Which is like very catered to the individual veteran. Again,
you don't quite think of how, yeah do they get
the service dogs just kind of to go, oh, yeah,
the must be a tree they fall off of. No
places like Warrior Canine Connection raise these dogs and puppies
to be service animals as very cool as very especial. Yeah,
if you want to go to the show is to

(01:13:49):
support Warrior Canine Connection. My intern John Schewey Forever show
getting June twentieth. June twenty first Arlington Draft House tickets
started fifteen bucks Internoncomedy dot Com. That's intern Geoncomedy dot
Com got second date update coming in minutes real quick too.
They did some research about men putting in charity work

(01:14:11):
in their dating profiles. Not that surprising what the motivations
were and the results were so According to the single
men they talked to, fifteen percent admitted they would join
a charitable cause just as a way to boost their
dating profile.

Speaker 4 (01:14:24):
I mean, that's nice at least that they're gonna do it. Sure,
I mean at least they're doing something. There's at least
good happening for sure. Percent say they'd sign up for
a charity event just because their crush was going I
like that.

Speaker 2 (01:14:36):
Sure.

Speaker 3 (01:14:36):
I had a friend that joined the Peace Corps and
to this day I maintaining did it because his crush
joined the Peace Corps.

Speaker 4 (01:14:42):
I remember, like my prom ding signed up to do
really for life because he had a crush on a
girl that was doing it like running, not making it,
but it was just like working it or something event.

Speaker 3 (01:14:50):
Yeah, you know what I mean. They say volunteering a
food bank is number one. Soup kitchen comes in second,
followed by building homes from organization like habitat Freeman. Yeah
so that there's photos of them with hammers and being
like good with their hands.

Speaker 2 (01:15:04):
Okay, sure Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:15:06):
According to the research, eighty one percent dater surveyed say
they'd be more likely commit to somebody who was a
passion for giving back.

Speaker 4 (01:15:13):
That's cool though, I mean that makes me want to,
like when I get back out there, like put something
like that.

Speaker 1 (01:15:19):
Hey how about the animals next?

Speaker 2 (01:15:20):
Yeah, look at the love and loving dogs.

Speaker 3 (01:15:22):
They also say two thirds sixty eight percent consider a
red flag if they found out their date had lied
about their volunteer experience.

Speaker 1 (01:15:29):
Oh yeah, sixty.

Speaker 4 (01:15:31):
If you're lying about that, you're not going You're not,
You're not, You're going to a bad place.

Speaker 3 (01:15:35):
Made sure, Why only sixty eight? That should be one
hundred percent. If you lie about charity work.

Speaker 2 (01:15:40):
Bars also very low right now, John, It's so.

Speaker 3 (01:15:43):
Wild though They also say sixteen percent respondent's omitted they've
over exaggerated their volunteer work on their dating profile.

Speaker 4 (01:15:50):
I mean, so I feel like you just people over
exaggeraiard profiles.

Speaker 6 (01:15:54):
All.

Speaker 2 (01:15:54):
Yeah, it's unfortunately, but that's just life.

Speaker 3 (01:15:56):
Like some high schoolers. You need to graduate and like,
yeah you volunteered, yeah in high school.

Speaker 2 (01:16:01):
Yeah, and I.

Speaker 3 (01:16:01):
Havn't done it, sir too. Love your thoughts over text
nine to nine and three three eight. It is intern
Johnny Morny Show second date update on Intern John in
your Morning Show. Dating in twenty twenty five isn't a
word poopy. It's just whether you meet somebody in person,
whether you meet him online. It's just a lot of
not good. So that's why when you think something is
going well and you think there's a vibe and they

(01:16:23):
stop talking to you.

Speaker 1 (01:16:24):
We try to see exactly what's going on. Marco. Good morning,
Good morning.

Speaker 3 (01:16:30):
So let's kind of walk through this. You and Felicia
first met or became aware of each other.

Speaker 2 (01:16:34):
How we messed on hinge? Actually okay?

Speaker 3 (01:16:39):
And what about Felicia made her stand out on the
dating apps?

Speaker 16 (01:16:44):
I mean she was just like, I mean, obviously really pretty,
but also you know, super funny and warm, and you know,
we just hit it off, like right from the bet,
even even before we met, just over texting.

Speaker 1 (01:16:56):
Gotcha, right?

Speaker 3 (01:16:57):
And it's one thing I wanted to clarify real quick
this reading email, you had said that you had plans
fall through. So your first date, you guys went to
the Caps game last Wednesday?

Speaker 1 (01:17:07):
Correct?

Speaker 16 (01:17:09):
Yeah, I me and a buddy bought tickets, but he
ended up having a work thing and he.

Speaker 2 (01:17:14):
Couldn't make it.

Speaker 16 (01:17:15):
Okay, And actually, yeah, exactly, so it actually worked out.

Speaker 2 (01:17:19):
I had a spare ticket.

Speaker 16 (01:17:20):
And yeah, you know, I mean, yeah, play hockey.

Speaker 3 (01:17:25):
Yeah, no, real quick, it's stupid question. Did you explain
to her that you and a buddy had bought tickets?
Because I would be worried if it was like you
hit her up on Wednesday? Hey, do you want to
go to the game that you had another girl and
that fell through.

Speaker 1 (01:17:37):
Do you know what I mean?

Speaker 2 (01:17:39):
No, No, she knew. I explained the situation to her
and she was totally cool with it.

Speaker 3 (01:17:42):
Okay, so our first time seen her person is at
the Caps game. How did things go?

Speaker 2 (01:17:48):
It was really great?

Speaker 16 (01:17:50):
You know, we met up for drinks beforehand.

Speaker 2 (01:17:54):
That was fun. When to the game, got some food,
super oppressed by the way.

Speaker 16 (01:17:59):
Yeah yeah, but the whole I mean, the whole day
was really really fun.

Speaker 2 (01:18:05):
And I mean, you know then.

Speaker 16 (01:18:07):
After that, you know, we went to dinner on Friday night.

Speaker 3 (01:18:10):
Nice so twice twice and for eight hours.

Speaker 2 (01:18:15):
Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 16 (01:18:16):
So you know, from my perspective, things seem to be
going really well. We made plans to see each other
again this week. But uh, you know, since we since
we went out, I haven't heard from her, Okay since
that Friday.

Speaker 1 (01:18:30):
So and so I'm me cut you off.

Speaker 3 (01:18:33):
But so dinner on Friday, you picked her up, correct,
that's right?

Speaker 1 (01:18:38):
Open, you opened all doors, You pay for dinner.

Speaker 3 (01:18:42):
I did.

Speaker 6 (01:18:43):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (01:18:43):
After dinner, we dropped drop of her place, kissing the cheek.

Speaker 2 (01:18:48):
A little bit more than that, we actually kissed.

Speaker 16 (01:18:51):
We actually kissed after the hockey game and and then
kissed again after dinner.

Speaker 3 (01:18:54):
Okay, so it was it's everything is certainly trending to
we're going to romance town.

Speaker 2 (01:19:02):
Yeah, I mean, you know I thought so.

Speaker 16 (01:19:04):
I was, you know, I was pretty stoked.

Speaker 2 (01:19:06):
And I thought things were going really well.

Speaker 1 (01:19:07):
And you've not heard from her since last Friday, correct.

Speaker 2 (01:19:11):
Yeah, you know, after I dropped her off.

Speaker 16 (01:19:14):
Yeah, she hasn't replied to my texts, and you know,
I called her one time, but I'm not trying to blow.

Speaker 1 (01:19:18):
Up her phone or any So let's do this.

Speaker 3 (01:19:21):
Let's call her and try and get her on because
I'm curious too. And yeah, first date to a Capskin
playoff hockey is it's a fantastic date. Hello, Hi, calling
for Felicia. Bless girl. It's intern John. I got Sauce

(01:19:45):
and Rose here as well. Can I talk to you
on the show real quick about something. It's something bad.
I seen like two minutes of your time.

Speaker 1 (01:19:51):
Okay, I don't worry.

Speaker 3 (01:19:56):
We're doing a second date out date. I had somebody
on the other line markof I say hello, Marco, say hello, Hey,
Felicia nailed that, and so here we are Felicia Marco
reached out to us.

Speaker 1 (01:20:11):
He had told us you guys matched on Hinge.

Speaker 3 (01:20:14):
Went to a Caps game last Wednesday, went to dinner
last Friday, had a little smooch at the end of
the night in that I supposed to hang out this week.
He is not her from you, So we're trying to
see your side of the story and see where you're at.

Speaker 6 (01:20:28):
Okay.

Speaker 17 (01:20:32):
Well, yes, we did go to the game and dinner
and everything was fun. We I thought we had clicked,
but I was just really turned off by the fact
that it didn't seem like he was very serious. How So,
so Saturday, I'm actually hanging out with my roommate and

(01:20:54):
she had told me she had matched with Marco and
oh they were making.

Speaker 2 (01:20:59):
My hand on h uh huh uh huh.

Speaker 3 (01:21:05):
Also meet up interesting okay, And so I imagine Marco
is not the most common of names.

Speaker 1 (01:21:14):
Okay, So let me ask you this.

Speaker 17 (01:21:17):
Well, she told me she had matched with a Marco,
and I said, that's so funny because I've been going on.

Speaker 2 (01:21:22):
Dates with a guy named Marco. Okay, and she showed
me his profile. I knew it was the same Marco.

Speaker 1 (01:21:27):
Okay, So super question, Fleisha, are you still on dating apps.

Speaker 17 (01:21:32):
No, because I thought the date went well, so I
wasn't actively using my dating apps.

Speaker 3 (01:21:37):
Okay, Marco, your thoughts.

Speaker 16 (01:21:42):
I mean we'd only been on a couple of dates
and I didn't even know what was your roommate.

Speaker 3 (01:21:47):
So yeah, I mean the odds are it is one
of those things that were the odds. But tip TV
fairs of Okay, I put you guys because I got
a bunch of thoughts on these Are you team Marco
or team Felicia?

Speaker 1 (01:21:57):
Eight seven seven say one to calls nine nine three
three eight texts second date update?

Speaker 3 (01:22:03):
I turned John your Morning Show Second date updates on
intern John and Your Morning Show. We talked to Marco
and Felicia. They matched on hinge a few weeks ago,
went to a Caps game last Wednesday, went to a
dinner on Friday. He thought things were going well. I
guess she wasn't thrilled that he also matched with her roommate.
It seems like after they matched and was talking to

(01:22:26):
the roommate as well.

Speaker 1 (01:22:27):
Whose side do you on?

Speaker 3 (01:22:28):
Eight seven seven, nine ninety five four to six state
one to call nine ninety three three eight at text
Let me ask you this sauce you were in the
dating field if you had the apps, would you be
upset if you went out with a guy on a
Friday and you found out that Saturday he was messaging
one of your friends.

Speaker 4 (01:22:43):
I would not, just because of the dating pool here,
especially so small, but also it's dating and it was
only two dates, and we're not exclusive, and that's what
you have the app four And my therapist, I mean
she she is her PhD. She says you should not
be just focusing on one person anyway when we started dating,
because then you'd tend to get an attachment to them
that you that might.

Speaker 2 (01:23:01):
Not be healthy.

Speaker 3 (01:23:03):
Almost like you like, I'm this is the only person
I'm talking to. Yeah, I'm so invested. I'm gonna make
it work.

Speaker 4 (01:23:08):
Especially if like you're newly like into dating and everything,
you might not really know what you like, so you
might just end up fixating on somebody that might not
just be for you.

Speaker 2 (01:23:15):
And that's okay.

Speaker 4 (01:23:16):
So I've always said with dating, like you you can
casually date. It's not like I don't mean like hooking
up with people. I mean like casually dating multiple people
get to know what you like.

Speaker 1 (01:23:25):
Yeah, I think that's fair.

Speaker 2 (01:23:25):
So it's only two dates, Yes, they kissed.

Speaker 4 (01:23:27):
But I wouldn't go home and delete my dating apps
after two dates if I like they hadn't even had
a conversation about how they felt about each other.

Speaker 3 (01:23:35):
Yeah, and I think you know, with with hinge and stuff,
you can get somewhat specific. But also it's not like
there's a good chance you and your roommate have similar interests.

Speaker 1 (01:23:45):
I would assume so.

Speaker 4 (01:23:47):
Tons of people that my friends have matched with. It's
just the dating pool here is very small. I don't
think people realize how small it is. It's also just
like they didn't have a conversation. You don't really know
each other that well after two dates. Why would I
go back and delete that?

Speaker 1 (01:23:58):
I think that's fair. Yeah, let me go in Ashbourn
Julie good.

Speaker 2 (01:24:01):
Morning, Good morning girl.

Speaker 13 (01:24:05):
Flicia Wow, needs to calm down. Yeah, I mean in
the in the nineties, in my heyday, when I was
thin and looked really good.

Speaker 2 (01:24:17):
Girl.

Speaker 3 (01:24:20):
We're just talking about this. The other day I got
Julie looks so good. Definitely the most beautiful Julian Ashburn.
The we know we're just.

Speaker 4 (01:24:25):
Talking about this, Thank you, thank you?

Speaker 1 (01:24:29):
Yeah, absolutely, But.

Speaker 13 (01:24:31):
Yeah, three and four guys on the go and I
didn't tell them about each other. It wasn't any of
their business until you get serious and have that conversation.
She needs to just calm down. And I think he
dodged a bullet.

Speaker 3 (01:24:44):
Sure, yeah, I don't, Julie. Thank you for listening to
have a great day. Thanks, bye, and we're just talking
to Ashbourne weekly. They call us like, who's the best
looking person asburn Julie and they're like, oh, I mean, yeah,
we knew that. You want to make sure rose your
thoughts on second day update.

Speaker 5 (01:25:00):
I think if he intentionally sought out the roommate or
the friend, or if he had met the roommate her
friend and then match with them, that would be a
more glaring red flag than just randomly kind of a
coincidence matching with your roommate.

Speaker 2 (01:25:14):
Yeah, it's only two dates in Yeah, yeah, I.

Speaker 5 (01:25:17):
Mean I think maybe because it was so close to home,
it was more like, like, how could you do this
to me?

Speaker 2 (01:25:25):
But I don't think that was intentional now.

Speaker 3 (01:25:27):
I think to that point too, it'd be different if,
like he matched with you and asked for the information
of your hot friend in the photo I found your
friend Instagram.

Speaker 5 (01:25:34):
And then he picked her up at her apartment or whatever,
saw the roommate, and then saw the roommate on the
dating It was like, let me.

Speaker 2 (01:25:42):
Swipe on her because I thought she was hot too.
That would be a red flag, no doubt.

Speaker 1 (01:25:46):
Let me go in the dirty Bernie, Tiffany, good morning.

Speaker 9 (01:25:50):
Bye, good morning.

Speaker 1 (01:25:51):
What do you want to say that with a second date?

Speaker 6 (01:25:52):
Up?

Speaker 1 (01:25:53):
Day girl?

Speaker 9 (01:25:54):
So, I think that Felicias should have asked him about
it when she, you know, the roommate had told her
that she had dated a Marco. It went out on
a couple of dates, and maybe she should have gave
him like a chance to explain himself.

Speaker 8 (01:26:13):
With that situation.

Speaker 9 (01:26:15):
But also he shouldn't have been on dating apps if
he was trying to be exclusive with Felicia.

Speaker 3 (01:26:23):
Yeah, I think I may I should have asked him
to like where he how far along Heath saw the
process too.

Speaker 1 (01:26:28):
I think that's probably a fair point.

Speaker 13 (01:26:29):
But yeah, I agree with that one hundred percent.

Speaker 1 (01:26:33):
Tiffany, thank you for listening. Have a great day.

Speaker 9 (01:26:36):
Thank you too.

Speaker 3 (01:26:37):
By Yeah, dating is it's horrendous. It's just it's not
a fun fun thing. I can't say this on the air. No,
hold on, No, So I did I did like an
ask me anything thing. You guys will laugh at this
because somebody asked if I hold on how many of
these I do? And I was like, that's never my

(01:26:58):
life happened. But because they heard I texted you to
they heard somebody say that. I was like, I don't
know who's saying that. They've never met me. Oh yeah,
like that would ever happen to know, and like if
you do whatever, I don't have the poise for that.

Speaker 1 (01:27:14):
I don't have the confidence. Like when I my friend.

Speaker 5 (01:27:18):
Told me, not just that, I don't think you would
know that that the other people would be interested in that,
no idea, even if they told you point blank.

Speaker 1 (01:27:28):
What do you mean there's only one of me?

Speaker 2 (01:27:31):
How's that gonna work? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (01:27:32):
But I was like, that's not that's not true. But
that's also like a friend, that's why dating because like
I don't know. I was like, this is why dating sucks.
That's not if you were you could hear all day talking. Yeah,
it's it is what it is. So anyway, if you
want to do a second date update, dms are open
at y MS Radio.

Speaker 1 (01:27:51):
It's interns John in your morning show.

Speaker 3 (01:27:54):
We cannot wait to see you at June twentieth and
twenty first Arlington Draft House, my intern Chewy Forever Common Shows.
It's three shows for one weekend. The only shows we're
doing these are really special shows. I wanted to find
a way to certainly keep Chewy's memory alive, but also
use his passing for good.

Speaker 1 (01:28:15):
I guess if that makes sense.

Speaker 3 (01:28:17):
In the Warrior Canine Connection, they are an amazing, amazing
group based in Darnstown and what they do is obviously
you don't think service dogs have to come from somewhere, Yeah,
like they need to be trained in a very thorough
training process. Warrior Canine Connection trains puppies to be service
dogs for veterans and they're tailored to that veterans specific needs.

(01:28:38):
SAUSI are out there a couple months back. You have
to see first all the puppies are amazing. Man Gold
the tree for puppies. It might be the keyest puppy
of all time.

Speaker 2 (01:28:46):
And there are so many and you are like in
the pen and they're just running all over.

Speaker 3 (01:28:49):
Us and taking everything. This is amazing. You're gonna be
amazing amazing service dogs. So these shows that weekend benefit
Warrior Canine Connection. June twentieth, June twenty first, arling teen
at Draft House.

Speaker 1 (01:29:01):
They start at fifteen bucks.

Speaker 3 (01:29:03):
You can get your tickets Internsoncomedy dot com. I want
to get to this in this second as well for
your Thursday. What makes the perfect day real quick too,
Shelby Sauced. Do you have a fitness tracker of some sort?

Speaker 2 (01:29:14):
Yeah? I have an Apple Watch and an or ring.

Speaker 3 (01:29:16):
Okay, Rose, do you have a fitness track or some
sort an Apple watch?

Speaker 2 (01:29:19):
Yet?

Speaker 3 (01:29:20):
I use my phone fight the steps, but I thought
this is interesting though you do? Yeah, I stop boring
excitingly how I felt? I don't know anyway, So these
are the red flags even toxic relationship with your fitness tracker. Okay,
well it was interesting I did not with either. So well,
starting with you stop listening to your body. I think

(01:29:40):
that is you shall be sauced. Do you mean so
ignore what your body is telling you, only rely on
the metrics on your tracker and tell you how you feel.
So if you actually aren't feeling well, but the tracker
is like you haven't hit your goal today listening to
the track or over like you being sore or limping
or whatever.

Speaker 4 (01:29:57):
I think I've gotten better this year that's good. Like
I I do think that I do get like that.
But I have actually been like doing a little bit better,
I would say, but I have been like that.

Speaker 3 (01:30:05):
Yes, if you panic if you don't have your tracker, Yes,
so you feel like your workout doesn't count, that's me.

Speaker 4 (01:30:10):
It doesn't count if it's not tracked, it doesn't count.

Speaker 2 (01:30:13):
Yeah, that is very annoying. Like it doesn't.

Speaker 5 (01:30:17):
It doesn't totally ruin my day, but I do feel
like I need to take a picture to prove that
it worked.

Speaker 2 (01:30:23):
Yeah to who nobody?

Speaker 1 (01:30:24):
Well that's the thing too. It's like because yeah, it's.

Speaker 2 (01:30:26):
Just to you.

Speaker 3 (01:30:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:30:27):
But also I like it when my footness trackers like
look at you, like like your fitness has like increased
like the x amount over like the last weeks, and
like this is like you compare to last year.

Speaker 1 (01:30:37):
Look at me.

Speaker 2 (01:30:38):
It's like I'm you know what, twenty twenty five, Sha'll
be killing it.

Speaker 1 (01:30:41):
Look at that. If you let the device dictate your behavior.

Speaker 4 (01:30:45):
Like like like what you're saying, Like it says, get up,
you haven't walked?

Speaker 2 (01:30:48):
Yeah, get up and walk?

Speaker 3 (01:30:48):
They say you thinking about your fitness tracker all the time,
or it starts to interfere with the daily life.

Speaker 2 (01:30:52):
Okay, I don't have that kind of relationship with it.

Speaker 3 (01:30:55):
I'm not judging. I'm not saying you do. Last one
is you're not sure why the goals are so important? Yeah,
they say we you don't know why you care about
reaching the goal. You're subsessed with the metrics. It might
be time detox.

Speaker 2 (01:31:06):
I feel like we all know why we're reaching the
goal though.

Speaker 1 (01:31:09):
Yeah, it's also just because the device told us though. Yeah.
I mean it's like if the device, maybe you.

Speaker 2 (01:31:14):
Set your goals on your fitness trackers, So shouldn't you know? Yeah? Maybe? Sure?

Speaker 3 (01:31:19):
Love your thoughts over text nine ninety three three eight
to intern January show. Weakely too. So they ask Americans
what makes the perfect day? First of all, according to this,
we feel like we have an average of twelve perfect
days a year. Okay, seems like a lot for completely early. Yeah,
twelve I don't know where, Like, nothing goes wrong. I
think it's perfect.

Speaker 2 (01:31:38):
That's really sad. I feel like that wasn't enough.

Speaker 3 (01:31:40):
Well, yeah, I have to deal with you guys. So
that right there, which should.

Speaker 2 (01:31:44):
Be an automatic perfect? Wow? Is there welcome?

Speaker 3 (01:31:48):
So they say sleeping for about seven hours okay, waking
up at seven forty eight am.

Speaker 4 (01:31:53):
Huh, yes, so you have your whole day to still
do stuff you feel rusted.

Speaker 1 (01:31:57):
Spending quality time with family for three hours.

Speaker 4 (01:32:00):
Yeah, it's a little long for me. At Your family
is lovely, sure y, yeah they are. I feel like
that's just like a little bit long, Like quality time
three hours with them.

Speaker 3 (01:32:08):
Watching TV movies for three hours okay, depends. Hanging out
with friends for one point four hours.

Speaker 2 (01:32:14):
Why are you hanging out friends for less time?

Speaker 3 (01:32:16):
Bro, I don't know. I'm not a scientist. Being on
their phone for an hour and a half okay. Enjoying
hobbies for an hour point four Spending time with pets
for one point one hours for sure, actually more than that. Yeah,
pets are fun. Yeah, they don't talk, they just hang out.
Whatever you do they think is amazing.

Speaker 2 (01:32:35):
I don't have that, so doesn't.

Speaker 1 (01:32:36):
Yeah you can tell your shooting like that was the
coolest thing.

Speaker 2 (01:32:39):
Look at you. You're so powerful in.

Speaker 3 (01:32:41):
My entire life, Like if I blow a bubble Skittles
is like this is he's a magician. Your hercules absolutely
working out playing sports for forty eight minutes fun. Yeah,
shopping for forty eight minutes.

Speaker 2 (01:32:53):
Okay, I don't love shopping, so maybe not. Yeah, but
online shopping there is that does that count?

Speaker 3 (01:32:59):
There is that It's always fun to see what John
put in his cart for later and you go through
and I'm like, why did I think that future to
want this exactly?

Speaker 1 (01:33:06):
You know what I mean?

Speaker 3 (01:33:07):
Listening to music for an hour that's fun. Yeah, squeezy
and nap for forty minutes makes it perfect time.

Speaker 2 (01:33:12):
Possibly the best naps.

Speaker 3 (01:33:13):
The ones where you don't need an alarm. You just
go on to what if I wake up? It's tomorrow six?

Speaker 2 (01:33:18):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (01:33:18):
It going to bed at a reasonable hour. They say
eleven PM is the ideal bedtime.

Speaker 2 (01:33:23):
Wow, that's late.

Speaker 3 (01:33:24):
Maybe up past eleven takes a lot. Yes, yes, says
