Allie and Drew have been together for four months after first matching on Bumble. Allie tells us things have been great for the most part, but every time she tries to have a “What Are We?” talk Drew keeps moving the goal posts and blames work or other events. However, this past weekend Drew’s flight got delayed so she wanted to help him out and pick up his dog Hank from doggie day care. When Allie got there the employees had told her that someone named Hannah had already picked him up. Allie isn’t sure who Hannah is, but she’s worried she’s not the only person in Drew’s dating life.

We call Drew pretending to be the doggie day care Hank stayed at and when we ask him what are the names of people who can pick up Hank, Drew says multiple names. Find out what’s really going on in this week’s War Of The Roses!

Speaker 1 (00:05):
More of the roses on intern Johnny Your Morning Show.
You think the love of your life might be stepping out.
We try to figure out exactly what is going on.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
Ali, good morning, Hi, good morning, hey girl. I was
reading your email.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
There's a lot to go through here, but I guess
that the first kind of I want to say flag.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
But you and Drew have known each other for how long?

Speaker 3 (00:28):
So we met about four months ago. We met on
Bumble and it's been going great. We've been having a
lot of fun together the last four months, and it
feels like we're building something real. But like every time
I try to bring up the conversation of like what
are we what are we doing and have that talk,

(00:48):
he just kind of like he's always pushing it away
and trying to find some excuse to delay getting serious
or just having the conversation. He's always got an excuse,
like things calm down at work, or like, oh, let's
just get through the holidays. And we've gotten through the holidays,
it's almost February, and like there's just always some obstacle.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
So I understand that.

Speaker 1 (01:12):
So we met four months ago, You've been going on
dates and doing the boyfriend girlfriend stuff. When you bring
up like, hey, are we boyfriend girlfriend now? And he's like, well, let's,
you know, take things slow.

Speaker 3 (01:24):
Yeah, right, We're like not taking things slow in real life.
We're just taking things slow on having the conversation.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
And so you guys go on actual dates or does
it more so just go to his place, he goes
to your place.

Speaker 3 (01:38):
I mean, like that's I think when a relationship become
serious is that. Yeah, we keep going on dates. We
have been on a few really great dates. But like
after you've been on a few dates with somebody and
you get comfortable, the dates kind of stop and you
just start kind of hanging out together. And so I
feel like that's where we're at now.

Speaker 2 (01:56):
And I guess I want to make clear too.

Speaker 1 (01:58):
Even though you guys haven't had the boyfriend girlfriend talk
or he's avoided, he has assured you he's not talking
to anybody else, you're the only one. So it's kind
of like we're there but not fully right for sure.

Speaker 3 (02:11):
Yeah, And like I mean, I'm we're very comfortable, like
I can get into his place, like you know, things
like that, like you know, yeah, we're just playing house
a little bit, but just got you it's a secret,
I guess.

Speaker 1 (02:23):
And so let's get to this week. He's at a
town on workshrip. He has a dog named Hank who
is at doggy daycare, which expensive. Yeah, his flight back
was delayed for a while, and you thought you'd be
the good girlfriend and do what for him?

Speaker 3 (02:39):
Yeah, the good girlfriend in training or whatever. Yeah, he
let me know his flight was delayed, and so I
figured it would be helpful to him, help him save
a few bucks, and just be a nice thing to
do to go grab Hank from the doggy daycare. And
so I willed them about getting Hank and they told
me somebody named Hannah already picked him.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
Oh god, okay, So you so you know Drews flights Delaide.

Speaker 2 (03:04):
You call, hey, did see guys know?

Speaker 1 (03:06):
I know, you know, Hank is there, Drews fielaide, I'm
gonna come pick him up.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
And they go, oh, he's already picked up.

Speaker 3 (03:13):
Yeah, they said Hannah got him. And I mean, like
we've talked about our exes and stuff like that. I
don't know who Hannah.

Speaker 2 (03:20):
Is, but sister, not a coworker, not.

Speaker 3 (03:26):
Who Hannah is, but she had Hank.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
Okay that is interesting because obviously whoever picked Hank up
also knew that Drew's flight was late, you know what
I mean, Like, like, that's okay, so let's do let's
do this Ali instev calling just in the flower shop.
Let me call from doggie daycare and I'll try to

(03:51):
go through his emergency contact and see how it answers
that way.

Speaker 2 (03:54):
Okay, I love that.

Speaker 1 (03:56):
Thank you wore the roses in just over two minutes
to wore the roses on intern John in your morning show, Allie,
let me recap this kind of quick. So you and
Drew matched about four months ago on Bumble. Things went great.
You guys hit off. You've been hanging out basically ever since.
But you have tried to bring up the what are
we conversation multiple times with them, and every time you do,

(04:16):
he's like, well, do you know, wait till things calm
down to work, Wait till you get through the holidays,
you know, wait until yadaya. There's always seems to be
a barrier in the way, even though we still go
on dates. You have access to his place, he has
access to yours, and you, guys do for all intents
and purposes, you're in a relationship.

Speaker 2 (04:35):
Correct, Yeah, exactly, Okay, have you met his friends and
family and vice versa.

Speaker 3 (04:42):
I mean a couple of them. Yeah, we're still warming
up on that front, but yeah, for sure.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
Okay, And I guess the biggest red flag is this
past week he was out of town on a work trip.
His flight was delayed. You know, his dog was saying
a doggie daycare. You thought you'd be a good girlfriend
figure and pick up Hank the dog from doggie daycare.
You call doggy daycare that you're like, hey, do you
know Drew's flights lay? And then grab Hank and they go, oh,

(05:09):
Hannah picked him up already. And that's kind of where
we're at, right.

Speaker 3 (05:13):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
Like I mentioned before, I think the odd thing to
me is whoever this Hannah is. I'm assuming the doggy
daycare knows that she is, either because I might pick
up a dog, but also she must have known that
his flight's delayed. Otherwise why would she go grab him.

Speaker 3 (05:28):
Yeah, I mean, honestly, the whole thing makes me sick.
But yeah, something's going on for sure.

Speaker 2 (05:34):
Okay, So this is my thought.

Speaker 1 (05:35):
Instead of calling Ramp with the flowers, I'll call from
doggie daycare and try to getting update his Mercy contact list,
and then if I don't think we have enough there,
I'll do flowers at the end. Okay, okay, thank you
on one second, because that is interesting. Hello, I call

(06:04):
him for Drew please, Yeah, this is a Drew. It's
Moby calling from Doggy Day Carre. You do have a
quick second be for me about Hank. Nothing bad.

Speaker 2 (06:13):
Ask a couple questions real quick. Oh okay, is now
a good time?

Speaker 3 (06:19):
Yeah, yeah, it's a good time.

Speaker 1 (06:21):
Bark up the wrong tree, so real quick, before we
go any further, have a couple of questions about his
mercy contacts. I need to clarify some information for you
first as a verification. Can you give me Hank's favorite color.

Speaker 4 (06:34):
Henks favorite color? Yeah, yeah, it's definitely blue.

Speaker 3 (06:37):
Blue.

Speaker 2 (06:37):
There we go, beautiful. So the reason I'm calling you is, uh.

Speaker 1 (06:40):
I know Hank was staying with us this past week
and we he was picked up by somebody named han uh.
But we had another Uh. I can't reveal too much
information because security. We had somebody else try to pick
him up or called about him. So I was hoping
to do is because we take this very seriously. We're
very rough. If you will when it comes security. I

(07:01):
want to can update a list of emergency contacts. I
understand there's a flight delay this week?

Speaker 2 (07:05):
Is that right? Uh?

Speaker 3 (07:08):
Yeah, yeah, you're right.

Speaker 1 (07:09):
So that's why I make sure that we because it
had been a shame to give him put him the
wrong hands. So can you just give me a so
Hannah should still be emergency contact.

Speaker 2 (07:19):
Yeah yeah. And then and then.

Speaker 1 (07:21):
Is because the person who called, uh, they seem to
be concerned as well.

Speaker 2 (07:25):
Do you have other people you trust?

Speaker 4 (07:28):
You know?

Speaker 1 (07:29):
Uh? Family, romance? Okay, who else? Chef on the here
for them for hank?

Speaker 4 (07:37):
Uh yeah? So, Uh, my mom's name is Claire nice.
You can put Claire on there. Sure, okay, you can
put Ken on there. That's a homey of mine.

Speaker 3 (07:47):
Sure.

Speaker 4 (07:50):
I do have this friend named Ali. I think she
I'm suspicious she might have been the one trying to
pick up the dog, you know, so you can throw
her on the list.

Speaker 2 (07:59):
Well help mean, uh cut you off if so?

Speaker 1 (08:04):
I can't confirm you the way, But why would you
want her on the list if you thought she was
trying to take the dog?

Speaker 2 (08:08):
Or is she a good person? Oh she's you know,
she's okay, gotcha? Okay, So all I can do is
I can slash her forest. We're perfect there.

Speaker 1 (08:17):
I do want to say, because you've been so kind
with us, today we're doing a promotion local flower shop
as a thank you for being a customer of ours.
Of course we love Hank as well. He's adorable. I
like his he's at the curious lit leaders I've ever
seen in my life. Where we want to offer you
a free book of a dozen red roses and anybody
in the United States parts of western Montana as well
as a way to say thank you for your service,

(08:39):
thank you for letting us service to you and your dog.
Pause and so can I give you these flowers? And
who would you want to send them to?

Speaker 4 (08:47):
Right brother?

Speaker 2 (08:48):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (08:51):
Oh yeah, yeah, I'll take some three flowers.

Speaker 2 (08:55):
Yeah you know, yeah yeah yeah.

Speaker 4 (08:58):
So does it have to be now though, because valentimes
days coming up?

Speaker 1 (09:03):
Oh just have to be delivered now or I have
to get the information now. But if I can deliver them, yeah,
we can deliver in Valentine and say if you want
make it romantic, okay, yeah, all right? So who would you?
I need a name for the car. The card is
about three hundred characters long, by the size of a tweet.
Who would you want to send the flowers to need

(09:24):
the first name, first last, and greatest.

Speaker 4 (09:28):
Oh well, listen, one any chance you can just put
it out to my Valentine, just say, you know, to
my Valentine.

Speaker 3 (09:36):
You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (09:38):
Okay, But for the delivery though, they need to go
to somebody. Yeah, I mean so that Uh, I'm afraid
we send them my Valentine. This person lives like an
apartment complex, might be hard to.

Speaker 4 (09:49):
Find, sure, so well maybe you could send them to
me then if that'd be all right?

Speaker 2 (09:54):
Okay, absolutely, no doubt.

Speaker 1 (09:55):
And so you want the card send to you flowers
and to you to my Valian anything else in the message?

Speaker 4 (10:04):
Oh god, you know, let me think about that. I
haven't started thinking about Valeton's Day yet.

Speaker 2 (10:09):
It's coming out fourteenth every year.

Speaker 3 (10:12):
Have about three seconds to explain what the time?

Speaker 4 (10:15):
Hey, Alie, you know I don't really know what you're saying.
You know, you tell me what's going on?

Speaker 3 (10:21):
All right?

Speaker 2 (10:21):
All right?

Speaker 1 (10:22):
Oh wait, real quake Drew, my name is intern John.
I got Sauce and Rose here as well. We're doing
War of the Rows in the show. That is your friend,
that's a girl that you're a manically involved with Allie
and yeah.

Speaker 3 (10:34):
In all.

Speaker 4 (10:36):
Oh okay, well you know, surprise god, So.

Speaker 3 (10:42):
This isn't.

Speaker 2 (10:45):
No true?

Speaker 1 (10:46):
So I mean Allie's wondering, he who's Hannah who picked
up hang from doggie daycare?

Speaker 4 (10:53):
Well you know, she's just a friend of mine, no, biggie, Okay, it's.

Speaker 3 (10:57):
A friend of yours too, So that's concerning.

Speaker 4 (11:01):
Oh well, you know you're not an old coworker of
mine at least?

Speaker 2 (11:06):
How is that better?

Speaker 3 (11:07):
Okay? At least? Yeah, I don't understand, like you need
to be better with your words right now, Drew, this
is really offensive.

Speaker 2 (11:14):
Oh I'm sorry.

Speaker 3 (11:16):
I'm sorry.

Speaker 4 (11:16):
You know I'm not I'm not trying to put anyone
out right now.

Speaker 2 (11:20):
Whos to go to? Who is your valentine?

Speaker 3 (11:24):
Yeah? Who's your valentine? Oh?

Speaker 2 (11:28):
Well you of course?

Speaker 4 (11:29):
Ali?

Speaker 3 (11:31):
Okay, Well then why is it so vague? Like you're
the king of vague? Like, hello things, We've been dating
for four months now, you're telling me Hannah some old
co worker, Like, so I shouldn't be worried because you
just called me your friend on the radio. Well, yeah,
you shouldn't be worried.

Speaker 4 (11:49):
You know, there's nothing worried.

Speaker 1 (11:50):
Okay, So are we saying Andrew the Valentine? Say Ali
being your Valentine, You guys are not ready to be
committed boyfriend girlfriend?

Speaker 4 (11:59):
Well, I don't know who there there it is. One
of the roses is creticked and possibly edited to broadcasts
with permission granted from all participants.
