Angie and Ray have been dating for a little over two months after first having a one night stand with each other after meeting at a bar. Angie tells us that for the most part things have been pretty good and Ray seems to have things together, but over the weekend Angie actually found Ray’s mom’s Instagram profile that had a post about celebrating Ray’s recent engagement with someone named Megan! Angie tells us Ray has made no reference to it at all and she asks for our help to figure out what’s going on.

We call Ray pretending to send him a free bouquet of flowers and when we ask him who Ray wants to send them to, Ray asks if they can be sent to someone named Claire. Find out what’s really going on in this week’s War Of The Roses!

Speaker 1 (00:07):
War are the Roses on internshown in your morning show.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
You were in a relationship, you think, well, I'm being faithful,
they're being faithful, we're happy ever together. But then something happens.
We go hmmm, are they being faithful? Is something else
going on? We try to rip off that band aid
and see what's up?

Speaker 1 (00:23):
Angie? Good morning, Hi, good morning.

Speaker 2 (00:26):
So this is unique. You and Ray have been officially
dating for how long?

Speaker 3 (00:32):
Two months? It's a pretty new thing.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
Okay, and you guys met how.

Speaker 3 (00:38):
We met at a bar and like I thought it
was going to be a one night stand hookup situation. Yeah,
and you know, we had fun, like whatever. We had
some chemistry when we met, and then he really pursued me.

Speaker 1 (00:51):
He kept falling up with me.

Speaker 3 (00:53):
So maybe a week after we hooked up, I was like,
you know, maybe I should give this guy a shot,
you know, And yeah, it was I like like.

Speaker 1 (01:04):
His communication style.

Speaker 4 (01:05):
I know, he's really.

Speaker 3 (01:06):
Busy, he has like a pretty intense job, but like
when he communicates with me, he's really great. And I've
always like appreciated that.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
Yeah, you mention your email if he says like I'm
calling a four fifteen, he calls a four fifteen.

Speaker 3 (01:20):
Yeah, punctual and reliable, right, but like the last week
he's been a little weird, I will say, Okay, so
I don't know, just a little more like distant, a
little less reliable.

Speaker 4 (01:34):
So I don't know.

Speaker 3 (01:35):
I was bored over the weekend and I was like,
I was doing some internet stalking and I found his
mom's Instagram, and I can't even believe that this is
like I feel like there has to be some sort
of misunderstanding. She posted a week after we first hooked up,
like congratulations to my son and my beautiful daughter in law,

(01:59):
Like I'm so grateful to have a daughter joining the family.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
Okay, and that's I got the post. Yeah, so basically,
you guys hook up. The next week, his mom posts
an engagement now is basically for him and Meghan's her
name right again?

Speaker 1 (02:14):
Yeah okay, I mean I didn't know.

Speaker 3 (02:16):
I only found out.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
Now, right.

Speaker 2 (02:17):
Yeah, it was a week after, right, And so now
here you are, and maybe it's you know, could it
be a case or the engagements called off? Maybe it
does seem odd that he's with you, right, And I
would say more so odd that you know, one night's
stand whatever, But the fact that he kind of in
your words, pursued you like I want to take you

(02:37):
out again, see you again.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
Like that's a bit off, And I.

Speaker 5 (02:42):
Feel like if my parents had posted something like that
and the engagement wasn't happening, I'd be like delete that.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
Yeah, yeah, I think the question would come up, do
you know for sure it's his mom? But he's in
the photo right, this is him, so it's definitely.

Speaker 3 (02:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:55):
When you guys go out on dates, do you go
out to like go out places. If he is coming
to your place, you go to his place or what's
that kind of vibe like.

Speaker 3 (03:05):
All of it, Like it's been totally normal, like we've yeah,
it's been well, yeah, I went to this place only once.
I guess, okay, but it didn't feel like weird. It's
just like it's just been easier for him to come
to my place or go out.

Speaker 5 (03:19):
And didn't you didn't see anything feminine or like any
red flags in his place?

Speaker 3 (03:26):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
It was dark and we quickly Yeah, I got up.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
Ye, let's listen to this Angie love sauce call from
the Flower Company, off from the Roses. They should go
to you in theory, girlfriend of a couple of months.
If they do, we'll put on hold. They don't look
at some answers for you. Okay, thank you wore the
roses just under three minutes an Internshohn your Morning show.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
It's wore the roses on interns John in your Morning show.

Speaker 3 (03:49):
Ange.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
Let me recab this because it is a bit of
a doozy. You and Ray have been together for about
a little over two months. You guys met two months
ago at a bar. Uh thought each other, We're cute,
had the one night stand. You kind of thought that's
where the story was gonna end. You weren't looking for
anything serious, but he had other plans, kept pursuing you,
kept begging you out. In your words, he kind of

(04:09):
broke you down. You guys started dating two months later.
Here we are. You have mentioned that you like the
fact he's very punctual and he's gonna call you at
four fifteen four fifteen dot. He calls you if he's
gonna pick you up at three, picks you up at three.
That part's good. This past weekend, you noticed he was
acting but off you aside to do some cyberstocking. You
found his mother's Instagram, and the odd thing is is

(04:30):
the week after you guys hooked up, she posted something
congrats to Ray, which is her son and Megan on
their engagement. So what it appears, just looking at it
is that your boyfriend Ray has a fiance and that
the week before at least his mom posted the engagement

(04:51):
he was with you and then begging you basically to
date him afterwards. That's kind of fair, right.

Speaker 3 (04:57):
Yeah, it's pretty accurate.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
Okay, I guess not to uh get too far antow
it does. Does the fiance to be I guess it
is his fiance? Do you guys look alike it all?
Or is there any like does he have a type?

Speaker 3 (05:15):
I mean a little bit, but I wouldn't say like identical,
but yeah, I mean probably a little bit of a type.

Speaker 1 (05:21):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:21):
I know, we had people ask and I talked off
the ear. But his Instagram there's no photos anywhere. It's
just no photos posted. He just kind of a lurker.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
Is that fair?

Speaker 3 (05:30):
Yeah, he's Yeah, he doesn't have like anything, so I
didn't think anything of it, you know, all right, So
like guys that don't have anything.

Speaker 1 (05:38):
No, I got you. So the alleged fiance's name is Meghan? Correct?

Speaker 3 (05:42):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (05:42):
Okay, since we're gonna do we have sauce, call from
the flower company, off from the roses. They should go
to you right girlfriend two months if they go to
fiance Meghan, we'll find that out too. But we'll get
some answers for you. Okay, okay, thank you one from
one second. It's a lot of balance.

Speaker 4 (06:00):
Yeah. Hell, I'm calling for Ray.

Speaker 3 (06:14):
This is him. How can I help you? Hi?

Speaker 5 (06:16):
My name is Alam, calling you from a new local
flower shop. We're giving away just a free bouquet of
red roses, just trying to get our product out there.
It's like a new weekly contest we've kind of been
doing if you if you will, but it's totally free.

Speaker 4 (06:28):
Don't need your credit card info.

Speaker 5 (06:29):
And especially with the holiday coming up and everything, we
want to make sure we get these out today. Since
you're a lucky winner, So can you start getting some
info and we can. I think you're gonna love the
flowers are so pretty.

Speaker 3 (06:44):
I mean, how do you gonna get information?

Speaker 5 (06:47):
Like it's like a Google. It's a Google thing for
you know, just like small businesses. Since we're a new
local flower shop, we just I basically I'll be honest
with you. I asked just for men's phone numbers in
this zip code, just so that we could try to
get you the product and then you like it and
then maybe you'll come back. My parents just opened the
Slower shop a few months ago, so we're just we're

(07:07):
just trying to make people know that we're here instead
of you using like a national chain, especially with Valentine's
Day coming up.

Speaker 3 (07:15):
Okay, yeah that's true.

Speaker 5 (07:17):
I like, oh my gosh, thank you, thank you. Yeah,
all my parents dreams flourish and all that.

Speaker 1 (07:22):
What do we what do we do?

Speaker 4 (07:24):
I'm just going to get a name, and.

Speaker 5 (07:25):
Like I'll make you a little folder in case you
decide to come back and you know, support us and uh,
you know, so I can be like, oh, ray, how
so and so so let me just start with the
name if you want to send them to.

Speaker 4 (07:35):
Is that cool?

Speaker 3 (07:37):
Yeah? Yeah, but Claire Claire?

Speaker 4 (07:44):
Is that c A C L A I R E.

Speaker 3 (07:50):
Yeah. I think so.

Speaker 4 (07:51):
That's beautiful. That's how my mom spells it.

Speaker 5 (07:52):
Oh and then, like I said, we're gonna make you
a little folder, So what is she to you? Just
so I can be like, oh Claire, your girlfriend, your sister,
your mom, they are red Row says.

Speaker 1 (08:00):
Though, okay, so just put like for like the note
what ever put me you February fourteenth, question mark or
something like that.

Speaker 5 (08:15):
Okay, and is this to your what's what is clear
to you that? Like your girlfriend? You're I mean, I'm
assuming it wasn't your sister.

Speaker 1 (08:24):
I mean, yeah, this is this is a special friend.

Speaker 4 (08:28):
Okay, Who the hell is clear? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (08:32):
Who's clear?

Speaker 4 (08:34):
Who's clear?

Speaker 3 (08:35):
Someone else on the phone? What's going on?

Speaker 2 (08:37):
Before we get to that? We're quick, Ray, my name's
intern John, I got Sauce and Rose here. We're doing
one of the roses in the show. Who what voice
do you think that is?

Speaker 4 (08:44):
