Renee and Michael have been dating for a little over a month after first matching on Tinder. Even though they live 40 minutes from one another, they try to hang out with each other all the time and Renee tells us she went over to Michael’s house for the first time this weekend. While she was looking around she saw that Michael had an entire set of Harry Potter books that got her excited, but when she asked about it Michael had no idea about them. At the same time, Renee has seen several toiletry items, like a toothbrush holder, that seem too nice for Michael so she’s worried someone else may be living with him.

We call Michael pretending to send him a free bouquet of flowers and when we ask him who he wants to send them to, Michael asks if they can be sent his girlfriend Dani. Find out what’s really going on in this week’s War Of The Roses!

Speaker 1 (00:07):
Ar of the Roses on intern jown in your Morning show.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
The goal of our show is you're a healthy and
happy relationship, and it's hard to do that if you
think the person you're dating is seeing somebody else, especially
Valentine's Week, which is the biggest crime of them all. Renee,
good morning, Hey, so lock us through this you and
Michael first met howe.

Speaker 3 (00:32):
Tinder?

Speaker 1 (00:33):
Okay?

Speaker 2 (00:33):
And what about Michael's profile may stand out for me
thousands of other sharks trying to get in your waters?

Speaker 3 (00:40):
You know, I wish I could tell you. I just
it was. It's a vibe like I was instantly into him, sure,
and like our first exchange was sweet and hot at
the same time, which is hard fun. You know, that's
hard to hit so.

Speaker 4 (00:57):
Especially through like, you know, not knowing each other.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
Yeah for sure, exactly. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:02):
And so how long from matchie on Tinder to seeing
each other in person for the first time?

Speaker 3 (01:08):
Oh? Hours?

Speaker 1 (01:10):
Oh really? Okay? See you guys went quickly? Okay, quick, okay?

Speaker 2 (01:13):
And how long from seeing each other in person to
being officially boyfriend and girlfriend.

Speaker 3 (01:19):
I feel like we hung out maybe twice and he
was like, oh my god, you're this is it? Where
this is.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
Happening, okay, which is which I guess if you know,
you know, which is fair.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
So we've been dating officially for a month, is that correct?
Yeah's just about yeah, okay.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
I do want to point out, you guys aren't technically
long distance, but he lives in Columbia. You're in Arlington, right,
so that is a decent hike for both of you.

Speaker 3 (01:46):
It's not next door yea, yeah, okay.

Speaker 2 (01:48):
And so in the course of the month, like, how
often do you guys see each other during the week.

Speaker 3 (01:53):
Well, I mean we talk, yeah, kind of constantly, but
I don't probably see each other like maybe once or
twice a week.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
Meet halfway that kind of I'm.

Speaker 3 (02:06):
I mean, well that has been how it's been. But
this is all about the fact that I finally went there.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
Yeah, so that's get today this past week and you
go to his place for the first time, very exciting
to see, I mean really somebody's personality and the other
side of them, and you find some things in his
place that make you think you are not the only one,
and what's going on with that?

Speaker 3 (02:26):
Yeah? The first one was that you know, you're walking
around somebody's new place, new to you, right, in his place,
but it's new to me. And like I'm walking around
and I see that he has the full collection of
Harry Potter and I got so excited yeah and started

(02:47):
like you know, what's your house and all that kind
of stuff, and he looked like he'd never even heard
of it before, like oh, like completely lost, Like what
are you even talking about? And like you don't own
the full set if you don't.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
Clarify, this is the this is the Buck's not the movies, right,
Like he has the actual like hardcover, Yeah.

Speaker 3 (03:11):
Yeah, okay, the original yeah so odd. And then like
the other clues are like subtle, but like you know
if you know right, Like I walk in the bathroom
and he's got a tooth thresholder that matches a Q
tip holder.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
Like what, no man a tooth thresholder, No manholder unless
it's the charger.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
No man has a hole over toosh. I'm no man
like matches a Q tip holder. The dudes don't put
him in the know.

Speaker 4 (03:42):
All I'm saying is that, like I my first bathroom
set all came in like one day.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
But you are a girl, I know, dude, thresholders that
is okay, let's see this renee. We'll have sauce call
from the flower company, and here we are Valentine's wig,
so it should be a pretty obvious, like sim fly
your girlfriend. If they go to you, we'll put them
on hold that they don't look at some answers for you.

Speaker 1 (04:04):
Okay, thank you, I appreciate it, No problem, yeah, no,
it so all good.

Speaker 2 (04:09):
War the roses in just over three minutes, an intern
Johnny Morning wore the roses on intern john your Morning
show or nay, let me recap this quick. You and
Michael matched on tender a little over a month ago.
You guys matched met in person within hours, started dating
like boyfriend and girlfriend within a couple of days. Here
we are dating for a full month. It's not technically

(04:29):
long distance, but basically is Arlington and Columbia.

Speaker 1 (04:33):
That's yeah, some days that could be yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:38):
But so you guys will often meet in the middle
or meet out somewhere else. This past weekend you went
to his place as I dropped my pen for the
first time, and that's kind when the flag started to
come up, you noticed he had the full collection of
the Harry Potter books. When you asked him about that,
he had basically no idea what you were talking about,
which the books themselves aren't the issue. However, if I

(05:00):
had a complete series of something, I would probably know
a little bit about it.

Speaker 4 (05:05):
Yeah, because even like I got them gifted to me
when I was a kid, I don't have them in
my physical apartment, right, but you would probably I still.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
Yeah, the fact that you know his house was Slytherin
clearly like a sign.

Speaker 3 (05:17):
Clearly.

Speaker 1 (05:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:18):
The other kind of sign was he noticed that in
his bathroom there was a like a toothbrush holder and
like the cotton the cotton.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
Tis c tips holder?

Speaker 2 (05:31):
Sure sure, which I say, No dude has ever bought
himself a tooth brush holder, unless it's electronic toothbrush and
charges like that.

Speaker 1 (05:38):
Yeah, it's like the probably the sign right there.

Speaker 2 (05:43):
The one thing I did want to ask, though, as
you mentioned, you guys talk fairly regularly during the week,
is the communication, like I can sayst some basis, is
only like he calls you as certain hours and as
quick or does it seemed like pretty normal flowing like
he's not you know, I guess I'm asking is this
It sounds like he's trying to hide a conversation from
you or from somebody else.

Speaker 3 (06:01):
I think your question is valid. I don't. I don't
think I've noticed until this weekend. It always feels really natural.
But then, of course as soon as I'm suspicious, I
have all these others like, oh wait, maybe that one time.

Speaker 4 (06:19):
You know, say, I will say this.

Speaker 1 (06:21):
I've always said this on behalf of dude's. Our lack
of awareness is astounding.

Speaker 2 (06:25):
So it could be that an ex girlfriend bought that stuff,
left it there and he has kept it legitimately.

Speaker 4 (06:30):
And just like I don't even know where I came from.

Speaker 2 (06:32):
Hasn't thought of it since I couldn't even tell you
what looks like legitimately, that could be it.

Speaker 1 (06:35):
So let's this.

Speaker 2 (06:36):
We have Sauce call Michael off from the flowers. They
should go to you. It's Valentine's week girl from a month,
they go to you. We'll put them on holes. See
you trying to do if they go somewhere else?

Speaker 3 (06:45):
Though?

Speaker 1 (06:45):
Will Trisy west one?

Speaker 3 (06:46):
Not?

Speaker 1 (06:46):
Okay? Okay, I want sir asking if Dobby wants a
sock and see if he gets it. What's up? Slither rood.

Speaker 3 (07:00):
Ha?

Speaker 4 (07:01):
Hello, Hi, I'm calling for Michael.

Speaker 3 (07:04):
This is he.

Speaker 4 (07:07):
So I'm so sorry.

Speaker 3 (07:08):
Hi.

Speaker 4 (07:08):
My name is Daisy, I'm calling for a new local
flower shop. I'm sorry, I'm terrible talking on the phone,
but we're offering people each day this week of free
bouquet of roses with the you know, the holiday coming up,
and we just are trying to actually promote our business.
My parents just open the shop totally free, don't need
your credit card info. We just want you to see
the product. So hopefully next Valentine's Day you want to
come back support us or just for really anything.

Speaker 1 (07:31):
You said, it's it's totally free, like I don't have
to give you a credit.

Speaker 4 (07:34):
Card, nothing like that. We just want to get our
product out there so that you will try to maybe
in the future support the local flower shop if you
see the product instead of being like an Instagram math
that you're just going to scroll through. So we're just
trying to get you know, we have a ton of
roses right now, so we're just trying to get them
in your face. And you're like, oh yeah, why I'm
mess flowers. That's who well use for my sister's birthday
or something.

Speaker 1 (07:54):
All right, the sick See, it's gonna make.

Speaker 4 (07:56):
You look like what a week for you to surprise
them little flowers anyway, they're free. Yah anyway, let me sorry,
let me just get the name of who you want
to send them to.

Speaker 3 (08:05):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (08:06):
Her name is Danny.

Speaker 4 (08:07):
Danny, how do you spell it like d A N
I d A and and it's d A N I. Okay, cool.
And I'm going to make you a little profile if
you will, so that if you do come back, so
I can be like, oh, how is Danny?

Speaker 3 (08:18):
So what is she to you?

Speaker 4 (08:19):
You know, like your girlfriend, wife's sister. They are red roses.

Speaker 1 (08:23):
She's my long term girlfriend.

Speaker 4 (08:25):
Okay, long term girlfriend. All how long have you guys
been together?

Speaker 3 (08:29):
A little over three years?

Speaker 4 (08:30):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (08:30):
Cu, congrats?

Speaker 4 (08:31):
And then what do you want the card to say?
It's just her typical little flower card.

Speaker 1 (08:35):
M just glad to have you home. You have no
clue the hell you have.

Speaker 3 (08:42):
Just unleash on yourself. I don't believe that you. First
of all, you're not right. It's cheating on me. Yeah,
you're cheating on this woman.

Speaker 1 (08:57):
That what the hell is happening right now? And you
know happen?

Speaker 2 (09:00):

you my name is intern John. I have Sace Rose
here as well. We're doing war Rose in the show
that is Renee. I'm gonna sell you this, my friend, uh,
based on the the message she's given you and the tone,
I'd be scared, So Renee back to you because I'm
afraid of you as well.

Speaker 3 (09:16):
Yes, yeah, I didn't even realize you were psychotic until
just now. What the hell.

Speaker 1 (09:22):
Boy you were saying?

Speaker 3 (09:23):
Every every minute of every day. For the rest of
your life, you will wonder whether or not I'm going
to show up in your driveway like you should be.

Speaker 4 (09:38):
We can't say so should she? Why should she be
terrified of him?

Speaker 3 (09:43):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (09:43):
I immediately am terrified. I want to know why a
threatening call is being made. Michael.

Speaker 2 (09:51):
Let's let's just ask this though. Why do you have
a girlfriend of three years? Does she know you have
a girlfriend of a month?

Speaker 1 (09:58):
Also you're dating, We have an open relationship. She travels
a lot, and I traveled from time to time work.

Speaker 3 (10:07):
Cannot wait to meet her find out if that's true,
Because I will meet her, it will happen, and you
will suffer because you initiated this with me. This is
not out of my I didn't do this.

Speaker 1 (10:24):
You did, and you are clearly doing this, and I
am clearly Michael. What you guys?

Speaker 2 (10:36):
Michael, you're gonna call the police and say, what I
got busted? She and my girlfriend and the girl I
was cheating.

Speaker 1 (10:45):
What she's gonna do.

Speaker 2 (10:46):
She's gonna make sure your life's hell. That's not a threat.
You're the one that's cheating your girlfriend. So what what
police is gonna be like? Okay, we'll go wrestled because
she had cheated on.

Speaker 3 (10:54):
That's the smart I just want you to know you
will see me in your nightmares.

Speaker 1 (10:59):
That's another threat. Michael.

Speaker 2 (11:03):
Yet call nine on one and say, somebody is gonna
stock you in your dreams.

Speaker 1 (11:07):
I can't. She can't be arrested for your subconscious my guy.

Speaker 3 (11:10):
