especially if you're planning a wedding. I won't say the
name of the venue because they have some locally here,
a big wedding venue that's on Daytona Beach shut the
doors and they got kicked out, and it left one
hundred couples, they say, scrambling to find another wedding venue,

of my wedding. I got up and went downstairs and

toast with bacon or something. All right, I'm in the
room about three hours before the wedding, and my groomsmen
were all in the room and we're talking. I got sick,
I mean sick on the Lane on the cold bathroom
floor and I told him we'll never talk about this before.
And I had wrapped up in blankets with ice and

if I can just get me through the ceremony, I
wave at the reception and then pass out and get
sick somewhere else. I was, I mean, I was sick. Oh,
I know what it was now after the point, but
that day I didn't know, but I was. I was

all it's time to go downstairs, and I'm like, all right, guys,

get through it. And I guess the adrenaline kicked in
and finished the day. But I was, I mean, I
was sick Ray Avenue, trying to decide the damn heat.

Well, there was another wedding that was happening that right.

and no response, no response. So we ended up finding

their pictures and videos back.

he was. So everyone like it was probably at least
twenty couples. All of our pictures and videos.

cops were called because my cousin tried to fight the

no way to cut your food.

long time, and I went on a date with a gentleman,
a first date, and we went to win a park

was excited, and all of a sudden, I started seeing

out of the window like people walking Inspitos, and I thought, oh,
there must be like a lot of churns here. So
what happened is, once we went on the ramp and
I looked down, everybody was naked. He took me to
the nude beach.

At him and I go, are those people naked? Like
I just couldn't even believe it, and he was laughing.
So I think he just likes to shock people.

So I just like went down. I said, well, I'm
keeping my clothes on. So after like half an hour,
I see him get up and he pulled takes off

I got home and I deleted everything. He tried to

We did not have the tree up yet because it
was early I think it was early December or late November,

rob your house.

check your cameras, check my cameras. It is the creepiest
thing I've ever seen, people breaking into my house.

And they never caught them.

when that food jumps back across the fence, my phone
gets later and say, hey, man, you know I can
see I'm waiting. That's today. I am waiting. Then when

So in the end of the story, basically I had
the passport, I guess because I was so panicked and
like I kept missing over it. Like it was still
in my bag, but I couldn't find it, and I
could have swore I didn't have it. So then I
ended up days still in the Dominican Republics, freaking out.

I already started to try to file for a new
passport and everything.

I had a friend, a good friend, and we were
in Jamaica and his wife lost her passport and after

ready to fight.

That's like literally we were supposed to get married outside
and they had to move it inside because the hurricane
turn through the night before the wedding. So yeah, but

So you guys flooded back so many memories it's my

out and it all just like came back and I

We hired a nice gentleman and we did our engagement
pictures with him as like a catch trial.

My parents met him.

Everything went fine, like no red flags. We had our
wedding and like months, like probably like three months went
by and we didn't get anything back, and we didn't
know what was typical. But I would like message him
and no response, no response. So we ended up finding
someone invited me to a Facebook group of people who

had the same photographer and videographer that did not get
their pictures and videos back.

It was so many.

I need to track this guy down.

It was so many. They had a Facebook group, yeah, because.

They were trying to like contact the news, like figure out.
So someone found his wife and I guess what she
said is that thankfully we were like on the tail
end of this. But we got married in February of
twenty eighteen, right after he got re addicted to opioids,
like and he went, he like fled her. They had

their two kids. He went, she didn't even know where
he was. So everyone like it was probably at least
twenty couples. All of our pictures and videos.

Were all lost.

I know you're like, oh man, that's horrible. You know
what photos are You're very bad for you. But oh man,
I hate to hit it.

But thankfully they found he fled to Canada and they
actually found like st cards in his in his apartment.
I guess he had like a second apartment with like

But how about the photos. Yes, that's unfortunate. I mean,
so you got the pictures but then chilly.

Eventually, but some people posted theirs and he would like
be drunk at their wedding. There was the floor pictures of.

They were not they were not they were pictures, but
they were not pictures.

a karaoke bar. I was like dancing on tables. I

My face was bolen.

I was so hungover, and the makeup artist was like,
you're gonna have to ice your face. So I had
to sit.

There and ice my face for so long.

I was like so puppy. But finally they did.

Some like magic and I was okay.

And then, worst of all, my husband at the time,
I found out he was doing cocaine at our wedding.

While now I could tell you were young when this happened.

How old were you twenty seven twenty seven and you
drank like that before your wedding.
Speaker 6 (06:59):
I was not very responsible.

Oh my goodness. Okay, well, at least you know who
you were.

Wow, you just got hammered to the world, pass out drunk.
No one's gonna get married the next day. Yes, okay, Ray, my.

DJ didn't show up. This was in two thousand and one.
We literally had my dad go get his multi CD
player and speak. The day of my first wedding at
I won't say, there was a monsoon so bad that
it flooded at the entrance and a lot of the
people couldn't get in.

Oh, it's horrible.

I got married during COVID.
Speaker 3 (07:38):
Neither mine or my husband's family spoke to each of
us the whole day of our wedding or at the wedding.
Besides my mom, nobody really speaks to each other.

I tended a COVID funeral and a wedding virtually. Yeah,
it was. It was pretty bad. Brown whatever.

one incident. It was her brother's wedding. It rained all day,

The company set up the reception was three hours late,

didn't bring all the alcohol that was in the contract
for the signature cocktails, and they didn't have a wine opener, so.

They had no way to open the wine bottles.

Oh, they started throwing everyone's stuff off the table and
cleaning up early before the party was over. Then the
cops were called because my cousin tried to fight the
wedding planner.

Because of that, of course.

They forgot the knives for the food, so there was
no way to cut your food.
Speaker 2 (08:29):
You are and key wesh.
Speaker 1 (08:30):
You gotta go to a restaurant and say, hey, can
I talk to the manager. Here's my situation. Can you
please help? I gotta get a knife in a four

twenty four your birthday. You are going we come back
out another pair of Somber tickets to give away and

I just had recently become single being married for a
long time, and I went on a date with a gentleman,
a first date, and we went to win a park
and then he said, hey, you want to go on
the second date? And I said sure, And the second
date he picked me up and all this, and I
was excited, and all of a sudden, I started seeing

out of the window like people walking Inspitos, and I thought, oh,
there must be like a lot of churns here. So
what happened is, once we went on the ramp and
I looked down, everybody was naked. He took me to
the nude beach.
Speaker 1 (09:32):
Yo. He didn't ask, and I looked.
Speaker 7 (09:37):
At him and I go, are those people naked? Like
I just couldn't even believe it, and he was laughing.
So I think he just likes to shock people.
Speaker 2 (09:46):
Oh he did it as a joke.

No, he took me for real to the nude beach.
So I just like went down. I said, well, I'm
keeping my clothes on. So after like half an hour,
I see him get up and he pulled takes off
his clothes and I go, what are you doing? And
he said, hey, when in Rome, do as the Romans do.

And I not at him and I said, I'm Puerto Rican, I.

Don't do that. So he took this is just your
second date with the gentleman, and.

And he just stood right up, took all his clothes
off and say, hey, everybody else naked.

I be naked too, absolutely when in Rome, do as
the Romans do. And I remember just looking at him
and going, wall, I'm Puerto Rican, I'm not Roman, so my.

Clothes are staying on. So I was the only one
with close on at the nudy Beach.

And was there a third date? No.

I got home and I deleted everything. He tried to
call me and I just like deleted. And the funny
thing is, now, when someone invites me to go to
the doing, I always asked, what seat.

Wow, the funniest thing that's ever happened.

And he goes hey, and he just pulled down his pants.

So and you have been married a while. So that
was the second dangy thing that you've seen in years. Yes,
I can just picture him standing their hands on his.

I just told him, I said, I think you should
have left your pants lots, oh.

So we went on a family staycation in Orlando, Okay,
and basically, uh three people because they never caught him,
broke into our house while we were gone, jumped over
our back fence. It was right around Christmas time. I
have it all on camera, you know, just the most

devastating thing that could possibly happen to a family.
Speaker 2 (12:48):
They take you that time? Did they take your Christmas gifts?
Speaker 6 (12:52):
We did not have the tree up yet because it
was early I think it was early December or late November,
so we didn't have the tree up yet, thank god.
If they took our spafe, they ripped.
Speaker 2 (13:01):
It out of the wall.
Speaker 1 (13:02):
So you you got a video just watching these people
rob your house.
Speaker 3 (13:06):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (13:07):
Yeah, So it wasn't real time because you know, hopefully
the police could have gotten there in time. But it
was literally a couple hours after. My neighbor called me
and said, so and so's house got broken into. You
check your cameras, check my cameras. It is the creepiest
thing I've ever seen, people breaking into my house.
Speaker 2 (13:22):
And they never caught them.
Speaker 6 (13:24):
They did not catch them or what they stole.
Speaker 2 (13:26):
Which was a lot of stuff. Do you still live there?
Speaker 6 (13:29):
I still live there?

Always I wondered, like, would you like feel weird living
there knowing that people got in there?

It took a long time, and my poor kids.

since they didn't get caught.

Yeah, uh, I was beside myself. It was disgusting. It
still is disgusting. And I never thought it would happen,
and I knew it could, but it's.

Just it's such a violation, you know, like it's.

Just Yeah, the house I grew up in, the house
my mom lives in now, they have a shed in
the back, and the guy was cutting the grass and
he noticed that someone was trying to cut through the
side of the shed. You couldn't see. Yeah, So I
went home and put up cameras and motion detectors. So
when that food jumps back across the fence, my phone
gets later and say, hey, man, you know I can
see I'm waiting. That's today. I am waiting. Then when

he cross, hey, hey, do you know I see you right?
And I want and it has to speak. I'm waiting.

Yeah, I do feel like if you catch it too late.

That no, no, it's as soon as soon as the
motion detective goes off and the cameras alerted, it's gonna
hit my phone and go live and.

That will make my life if I could do that,

Know, other people can't stop their lives just for me.
So even though I'm freaking out, whatever, you.

I thank god I had like my money and my

had a smaller, little like statchel bag that got stolen
at that point. So like it was like, you know,
when it ranged, it poors and I was like going
through it, after going through it, after going through it.

Oh my goodness, and how'd you get back?

So in the end of the story, basically I had
the passport, I guess because I was so panicked and
like I kept missing over it. Like it was still
in my bag, but I couldn't find it, and I
could have swore I didn't have it. So then I
ended up days still in the Dominican Republics, freaking out.

I already started to try to file for a new
passport and everything.

It was crazy.

I had a friend, a good friend, and we were
in Jamaica and his wife lost her passport and after
minutes of talking, you know, they said, look, we're gonna
send you tube. Let them deal with it over there.

Yeah. Right, you try to get back into your own country.
Speaker 6 (17:55):
Yeah, get the best of us.
Speaker 1 (17:58):
Yeah, like you said, you leaving us, you will have
to deal with this over there. Yep, and they let
us go. You know, that's funny. That's some good stories too,
