Speaker 1 (00:02):
Then I'm a kid to wait on munch weather. It's
gonna be sunny today. All right, this is a horrible story,
especially if you're planning a wedding. I won't say the
name of the venue because they have some locally here,
a big wedding venue that's on Daytona Beach shut the
doors and they got kicked out, and it left one
hundred couples, they say, scrambling to find another wedding venue,
(00:25):
just weeks before their wedding date. Can you imagine you
got everything set up in the venue, go like we
got the situation, we ain't, we can't. We closed, and
you gotta find another situation. So I want to find
out what are some tragedies that happened during your wedding?
But you made it through. Everything worked out, okay. And
I think I may have mentioned this before the day
(00:45):
of my wedding. I got up and went downstairs and
got some type of and I don't even eat avocado
toast with bacon or something. All right, I'm in the
room about three hours before the wedding, and my groomsmen
were all in the room and we're talking. I got sick,
I mean sick on the Lane on the cold bathroom
floor and I told him we'll never talk about this before.
And I had wrapped up in blankets with ice and
(01:07):
get my temperature down, and I just just said, God,
if I can just get me through the ceremony, I
wave at the reception and then pass out and get
sick somewhere else. I was, I mean, I was sick. Oh,
I know what it was now after the point, but
that day I didn't know, but I was. I was
sick as a I mean, I was sick, and it's like,
all it's time to go downstairs, and I'm like, all right, guys,
(01:29):
look get me through this. If y'all see me about
to fall, pick me up, and we're gonna try to
get through it. And I guess the adrenaline kicked in
and finished the day. But I was, I mean, I
was sick Ray Avenue, trying to decide the damn heat.
Speaker 2 (01:44):
Seriously.
Speaker 3 (01:46):
Well, there was another wedding that was happening that right.
Speaker 2 (01:50):
That night before.
Speaker 3 (01:51):
If we had like an open bar and like you know,
dinner and all that stuff, and the other party from
the wedding, we're they were trying to fight.
Speaker 1 (02:00):
My Yeah, like a wedding fight. Yeah, it almost got
to that.
Speaker 3 (02:05):
Yes, I just remember them like running up and down
the hall playing that like my.
Speaker 2 (02:09):
Party was gonna fight with their party.
Speaker 3 (02:11):
I'm like, what that is happening in My family from
New York got involved.
Speaker 1 (02:15):
They like We've been waiting for this.
Speaker 3 (02:16):
This woman was gonna like throw an ice bucket out
like yeah. I'm like, oh my gosh, I remember.
Speaker 4 (02:21):
Hearing about that. Yeah, I do about you. It was
in the bar that wasn't even open. I think we
went upstairs at this bar that wasn't you know, I'm
ready to fight.
Speaker 1 (02:28):
Oh my goodness.
Speaker 4 (02:29):
Well there was a hurricane the night before I went right,
That's like literally we were supposed to get married outside
and they had to move it inside because the hurricane
turn through the night before the wedding. So yeah, but
I mean, and look, we got separated. So there's a
little bit of a storm. But it turned out for you,
it turned out okay.
Speaker 1 (02:45):

Speaker 5 (03:42):
Hey, Crystal, Hey, good morning everyone.
Speaker 2 (03:45):
All right?
Speaker 1 (03:46):
So what happened?
Speaker 2 (03:48):
All right?
Speaker 5 (03:49):
So you guys flooded back so many memories it's my
wedding because I kind of like tried to block this
out and it all just like came back and I
had to call Sokay, we for our photography and videography.
We hired a nice gentleman and we did our engagement
pictures with him as like a catch trial.
Speaker 6 (04:06):
My parents met him.
Speaker 5 (04:07):
Everything went fine, like no red flags. We had our
wedding and like months, like probably like three months went
by and we didn't get anything back, and we didn't
know what was typical. But I would like message him
and no response, no response. So we ended up finding
someone invited me to a Facebook group of people who
(04:30):
had the same photographer and videographer that did not get
their pictures and videos back.
Speaker 2 (04:34):
It was so many.
Speaker 5 (04:35):
I need to track this guy down.
Speaker 2 (04:36):
It was so many. They had a Facebook group, yeah, because.
Speaker 5 (04:41):
They were trying to like contact the news, like figure out.
So someone found his wife and I guess what she
said is that thankfully we were like on the tail
end of this. But we got married in February of
twenty eighteen, right after he got re addicted to opioids,
like and he went, he like fled her. They had
(05:03):
their two kids. He went, she didn't even know where
he was. So everyone like it was probably at least
twenty couples. All of our pictures and videos.
Speaker 7 (05:10):
Were all lost.
Speaker 2 (05:12):
Crystal.
Speaker 1 (05:13):
I know you're like, oh man, that's horrible. You know
what photos are You're very bad for you. But oh man,
I hate to hit it.
Speaker 2 (05:22):
I'm sorry.
Speaker 6 (05:23):
Oh fast forward the story. Fast for the story.
Speaker 5 (05:25):
But thankfully they found he fled to Canada and they
actually found like st cards in his in his apartment.
I guess he had like a second apartment with like
another wife, like over in Waterford, so they actually hate cards.
Speaker 1 (05:39):
I hate to hit it.
Speaker 2 (05:39):
But how about the photos. Yes, that's unfortunate. I mean,
so you got the pictures but then chilly.
Speaker 5 (05:47):
Eventually, but some people posted theirs and he would like
be drunk at their wedding. There was the floor pictures of.
Speaker 6 (05:53):
Like they were blurry.
Speaker 5 (05:54):
They were not they were not they were pictures, but
they were not pictures.
Speaker 1 (05:58):
You know what's said because he had a a little situation.
Ali from Orlando, good.
Speaker 8 (06:03):
Morning, Good morning guys.
Speaker 2 (06:05):
All right, so what happened?
Speaker 9 (06:06):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (06:07):
What tragic? Tragic happened at the way, So first of.
Speaker 8 (06:10):
All, I want to say I love somber and ten
twenty four is my birthday.
Speaker 10 (06:13):
So I really want these tickets. But my wedding the
night before, we had so much fun. We were at
a karaoke bar. I was like dancing on tables. I
don't even know how much I drank. Everyone was buying
me shots, and I woke up in the morning.
Speaker 7 (06:26):
I was vomiting.
Speaker 6 (06:27):
My face was bolen.
Speaker 10 (06:28):
I was so hungover, and the makeup artist was like,
you're gonna have to ice your face. So I had
to sit.
Speaker 8 (06:33):
There and ice my face for so long.
Speaker 6 (06:36):
I was like so puppy. But finally they did.
Speaker 8 (06:39):
Some like magic and I was okay.
Speaker 10 (06:41):
And then, worst of all, my husband at the time,
I found out he was doing cocaine at our wedding.
Speaker 1 (06:48):
While now I could tell you were young when this happened.
Speaker 2 (06:52):
How old were you twenty seven twenty seven and you
drank like that before your wedding.
Speaker 6 (06:59):
I was not very responsible.
Speaker 2 (07:01):
Oh my goodness. Okay, well, at least you know who
you were.
Speaker 1 (07:05):
Wow, you just got hammered to the world, pass out drunk.
No one's gonna get married the next day. Yes, okay, Ray, my.
Speaker 3 (07:17):
DJ didn't show up. This was in two thousand and one.
We literally had my dad go get his multi CD
player and speak. The day of my first wedding at
I won't say, there was a monsoon so bad that
it flooded at the entrance and a lot of the
people couldn't get in.
Speaker 1 (07:34):
Oh, it's horrible.
Speaker 2 (07:35):
I got married during COVID.
Speaker 3 (07:38):
Neither mine or my husband's family spoke to each of
us the whole day of our wedding or at the wedding.
Besides my mom, nobody really speaks to each other.
Speaker 2 (07:47):
I tended a COVID funeral and a wedding virtually. Yeah,
it was. It was pretty bad. Brown whatever.
Speaker 4 (07:54):
There's a bunch on the exl mobile power by Turny
d'An neelan interrect need to check. This is a no brainer.
Just called triniy Daniel and this one is all in
one incident. It was her brother's wedding. It rained all day,
so the wedding and the wedding was in the keys.
The company set up the reception was three hours late,
so they were still setting up during the ceremony. They
didn't bring all the alcohol that was in the contract
for the signature cocktails, and they didn't have a wine opener, so.
Speaker 2 (08:15):
They had no way to open the wine bottles.
Speaker 4 (08:17):
Oh, they started throwing everyone's stuff off the table and
cleaning up early before the party was over. Then the
cops were called because my cousin tried to fight the
wedding planner.
Speaker 1 (08:24):
Because of that, of course.
Speaker 4 (08:25):
They forgot the knives for the food, so there was
no way to cut your food.
Speaker 2 (08:29):
You are and key wesh.
Speaker 1 (08:30):
You gotta go to a restaurant and say, hey, can
I talk to the manager. Here's my situation. Can you
please help? I gotta get a knife in a four
It is all one wedding that all this happened. Are they?
Speaker 5 (08:39):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (08:41):
Ali woke up, Drunks Somber. The Kias sent a ten
twenty four your birthday. You are going we come back
out another pair of Somber tickets to give away and
we'll take you and talk to Diana. Diana, good morning,
good morning. All right, true story. What happened.
Speaker 7 (08:56):
I just had recently become single being married for a
long time, and I went on a date with a gentleman,
a first date, and we went to win a park
and then he said, hey, you want to go on
the second date? And I said sure, And the second
date he picked me up and all this, and I
was excited, and all of a sudden, I started seeing
(09:17):
out of the window like people walking Inspitos, and I thought, oh,
there must be like a lot of churns here. So
what happened is, once we went on the ramp and
I looked down, everybody was naked. He took me to
the nude beach.
Speaker 1 (09:32):
Yo. He didn't ask, and I looked.
Speaker 7 (09:37):
At him and I go, are those people naked? Like
I just couldn't even believe it, and he was laughing.
So I think he just likes to shock people.
Speaker 2 (09:46):
Oh he did it as a joke.
Speaker 7 (09:49):
No, he took me for real to the nude beach.
So I just like went down. I said, well, I'm
keeping my clothes on. So after like half an hour,
I see him get up and he pulled takes off
his clothes and I go, what are you doing? And
he said, hey, when in Rome, do as the Romans do.
(10:09):
And I not at him and I said, I'm Puerto Rican, I.
Speaker 2 (10:12):
Don't do that. So he took this is just your
second date with the gentleman, and.
Speaker 1 (10:21):
And he just stood right up, took all his clothes
off and say, hey, everybody else naked.
Speaker 9 (10:25):
I be naked too, absolutely when in Rome, do as
the Romans do. And I remember just looking at him
and going, wall, I'm Puerto Rican, I'm not Roman, so my.
Speaker 7 (10:36):
Clothes are staying on. So I was the only one
with close on at the nudy Beach.
Speaker 2 (10:41):
And was there a third date? No.
Speaker 9 (10:46):
I got home and I deleted everything. He tried to
call me and I just like deleted. And the funny
thing is, now, when someone invites me to go to
the doing, I always asked, what seat.
Speaker 2 (10:58):
Where we're going? We're going, We're going.
Speaker 7 (11:00):
Wow, the funniest thing that's ever happened.
Speaker 1 (11:05):
He should have told you. You got to tell somebody,
that is the problem.
Speaker 7 (11:10):
He didn't tell me. He just thought it would be funny.
He apparently was a newist and I didn't know it.
Speaker 1 (11:16):
Now when he got naked, did he stand in front
of you and say, aren't you gonna take your clothes off?
Speaker 9 (11:21):
Or yes?
Speaker 7 (11:24):
I saw him standing up. I said what are you doing?
And he goes hey, and he just pulled down his pants.
You fast now, I said, oh, no, no, no.
Speaker 1 (11:35):
So and you have been married a while. So that
was the second dangy thing that you've seen in years. Yes,
I can just picture him standing their hands on his.
Speaker 2 (11:45):
Hips like you know.
Speaker 7 (11:47):
I just told him, I said, I think you should
have left your pants lots, oh.
Speaker 2 (11:52):
Everything. Oh not cool?
Speaker 1 (11:54):
Yeah, oh okay, you hold a not cool after that,
there's no chance you.
Speaker 2 (12:02):
Should have loved your past.
Speaker 1 (12:04):
Four O seven now, not one O six seven eight
seven seven now when not one O six seven?
Speaker 2 (12:09):
True story, It happened to Marissa up window mill.
Speaker 1 (12:11):
We'll talk tells those fascinating story to take its a
somber Kia Sinna coming up on ten twenty four. Let's
go over to Windo Mill and talk to Marissa. Hey, Marissa, Hi,
how's it going?
Speaker 2 (12:21):
True story girl?
Speaker 1 (12:22):
What happened?
Speaker 6 (12:24):
So we went on a family staycation in Orlando, Okay,
and basically, uh three people because they never caught him,
broke into our house while we were gone, jumped over
our back fence. It was right around Christmas time. I
have it all on camera, you know, just the most
(12:45):
devastating thing that could possibly happen to a family.
Speaker 2 (12:48):
They take you that time? Did they take your Christmas gifts?
Speaker 6 (12:52):
We did not have the tree up yet because it
was early I think it was early December or late November,
so we didn't have the tree up yet, thank god.
If they took our spafe, they ripped.
Speaker 2 (13:01):
It out of the wall.
Speaker 1 (13:02):
So you you got a video just watching these people
rob your house.
Speaker 3 (13:06):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (13:07):
Yeah, So it wasn't real time because you know, hopefully
the police could have gotten there in time. But it
was literally a couple hours after. My neighbor called me
and said, so and so's house got broken into. You
check your cameras, check my cameras. It is the creepiest
thing I've ever seen, people breaking into my house.
Speaker 2 (13:22):
And they never caught them.
Speaker 6 (13:24):
They did not catch them or what they stole.
Speaker 2 (13:26):
Which was a lot of stuff. Do you still live there?
Speaker 6 (13:29):
I still live there?
Speaker 2 (13:30):
That's what always.
Speaker 4 (13:30):
Always I wondered, like, would you like feel weird living
there knowing that people got in there?
Speaker 2 (13:36):
Like that's your that's your spot.
Speaker 6 (13:38):
It took a long time, and my poor kids.
Speaker 3 (13:41):
Yeah, because I'd be free that they would come back
since they didn't get caught.
Speaker 6 (13:44):
Well yeah, I mean I'm getting chills right now with
you guys reminding me of Thatt'm sorry.
Speaker 2 (13:50):
I feel so violated. That's like that's my space.
Speaker 6 (13:53):
Yeah, uh, I was beside myself. It was disgusting. It
still is disgusting. And I never thought it would happen,
and I knew it could, but it's.
Speaker 8 (14:01):
Just it's such a violation, you know, like it's.
Speaker 1 (14:04):
Just Yeah, the house I grew up in, the house
my mom lives in now, they have a shed in
the back, and the guy was cutting the grass and
he noticed that someone was trying to cut through the
side of the shed. You couldn't see. Yeah, So I
went home and put up cameras and motion detectors. So
when that food jumps back across the fence, my phone
gets later and say, hey, man, you know I can
see I'm waiting. That's today. I am waiting. Then when
(14:27):
he cross, hey, hey, do you know I see you right?
And I want and it has to speak. I'm waiting.
Speaker 2 (14:33):
Yeah, I do feel like if you catch it too late.
Speaker 1 (14:35):
That no, no, it's as soon as soon as the
motion detective goes off and the cameras alerted, it's gonna
hit my phone and go live and.
Speaker 2 (14:43):
Yeah, yeah, hey, hey you little.
Speaker 1 (14:47):
Brother man, I know who you are. Yeah, I am waiting.
That will make my life if I could do that,
all right.
Speaker 2 (14:54):
You hold up the best part.
Speaker 6 (14:56):
The best part is the one guy.
Speaker 8 (14:58):
I'm saying, Guy, I have no idea.
Speaker 6 (14:59):
Try to jump over the fence to get back. You
had to jump like four times. If I was home,
you would have been so cooked.
Speaker 7 (15:07):
It was.
Speaker 2 (15:07):
Oh my goodness. Well I'm glad you guys feel safe.
Speaker 1 (15:10):
Now. That's horrible, all right, you hold on a second.
One more. Zoe from Orlando, Good morning, Good morning Zoe.
What happened?
Speaker 6 (15:20):
Okay?
Speaker 11 (15:20):
So the story I normally tell people is the time
that I got stuck in dr So.
Speaker 6 (15:26):
I was there on a little vacation.
Speaker 11 (15:28):
Of course, you know, had a great time, and then
it comes time to leave and I went to leave
and I couldn't find my passport.
Speaker 2 (15:36):
I was like, I swear it was here.
Speaker 6 (15:38):
I don't know what happened whatever.
Speaker 11 (15:40):
So I'm freaking out at this point, as everyone else
is boarding the flight, you know, leaving, I let my
friends that were with me go.
Speaker 6 (15:49):
I was like, I'll figure out. I know, you guys
have to work, like you know, and you.
Speaker 11 (15:55):
Know, other people can't stop their lives just for me.
So even though I'm freaking out, whatever, you.
Speaker 2 (16:01):
Tell your friends to go and they left you.
Speaker 3 (16:03):
Yeah, well yeah, see not one of them to day.
Speaker 2 (16:08):
Do you think we ain't friends no more.
Speaker 11 (16:10):
Yeah, honestly we're not friends someone.
Speaker 4 (16:14):
Yeah, I would tell them to leave, uh huh, but
I dare you to leave here.
Speaker 2 (16:18):
Here's the that's my point.
Speaker 6 (16:20):
That's why I was like, can go?
Speaker 1 (16:21):
They left?
Speaker 2 (16:23):
Oh my goodness.
Speaker 11 (16:24):
Now I'm in the Dominican Republic. Little you know, you know,
taill me just by myself?
Speaker 2 (16:31):
Like you don't know it.
Speaker 1 (16:33):
You know what you want to say, just now you
know me, little old white girl.
Speaker 2 (16:37):
White, that's what you want to say. Hey, I'm with you.
Speaker 1 (16:39):
I you yeah, white girl.
Speaker 2 (16:47):
If I was leaving you in Wisconsin, cool, you get
you'll get home? Yeah, I had, Yeah, I.
Speaker 6 (16:52):
Was freaking out. There was one point as well.
Speaker 11 (16:55):
I thank god I had like my money and my
walle and and my bigger book bag. But I also
had a smaller, little like statchel bag that got stolen
at that point. So like it was like, you know,
when it ranged, it poors and I was like going
through it, after going through it, after going through it.
Speaker 1 (17:13):
Oh my goodness, and how'd you get back?
Speaker 11 (17:16):
So in the end of the story, basically I had
the passport, I guess because I was so panicked and
like I kept missing over it. Like it was still
in my bag, but I couldn't find it, and I
could have swore I didn't have it. So then I
ended up days still in the Dominican Republics, freaking out.
(17:37):
I already started to try to file for a new
passport and everything.
Speaker 6 (17:40):
It was crazy.
Speaker 1 (17:41):
I had a friend, a good friend, and we were
in Jamaica and his wife lost her passport and after
minutes of talking, you know, they said, look, we're gonna
send you tube. Let them deal with it over there.
Speaker 2 (17:51):
Yeah. Right, you try to get back into your own country.
Speaker 6 (17:55):
Yeah, get the best of us.
Speaker 1 (17:58):
Yeah, like you said, you leaving us, you will have
to deal with this over there. Yep, and they let
us go. You know, that's funny. That's some good stories too,
all right. We have Diana one who on a second date,
the man said let's go to the strip naked beach.
You have Marissa who watched the video of people break
it into her home, and Zoe who found out who
(18:21):
what true friends were when they left her in dr
Is three. We're gonna spend the wheel and let the
wheel decide, because those are all great stories on true
stories that happened to me. Those are very good and
oh got it? Okay, Zoe, congratulations, you're the winner. The
wheel stopped on you. You got yourself two ticket See
(18:42):
Somber at the Kids Center coming up on ten twenty four.
Marissa and Diana were great stories. Don't cry.
Speaker 6 (18:49):
Oh nice, I'm so excited. I'm gonna cry and throw
up at the same time.
Speaker 2 (18:53):
Well, all of that, that's a lot of cleaning enough
to do. I can't believe your friends left you. That's crazy.
Just left you?
Speaker 1 (18:59):
Wow?
Speaker 6 (19:00):
Know you really?
Speaker 11 (19:01):
They say, you really find out your real friends are
on vacation or you're really meant to be with.
Speaker 2 (19:08):
Your partner vacation. You really find out.
Speaker 1 (19:11):
But my thing is, no, no, we ain't gonna do that.
I'll call you, I'll call my work. Any work would say, hey, listen,
my friend is gonna be by herself if I leave her, right,
you know they would understand.
Speaker 11 (19:20):
I'm the type of friend saying you gotta stay fired.
Speaker 1 (19:23):
But yeah, yeah, you gotta stay. They left you.
Speaker 2 (19:26):
That's crazy, you know, tiny me.
Speaker 9 (19:29):
Yeah, you know you guys would at.
Speaker 1 (19:32):
Least you know, you know, I love the fact you're
trying to be politically correct, but you said that without
said they left my white ands up in there love me.
Speaker 6 (19:42):
Honestly, I was like, what word do I use?
Speaker 7 (19:44):
It?
Speaker 2 (19:45):
It was obvious, gonna be fair.
Speaker 6 (19:48):
You know, I'm a I'm a little white you know, sick,
little cute, little white girl.
Speaker 2 (19:52):
So I'm like, your name is that way? I kind
of pegged you.
Speaker 6 (19:57):
No one, no one, look at me.
Speaker 1 (19:58):
Please, you know, I could have said this, they.
