it's already a tense situation. You're gonna bring somebody who
don't even know you, mad.
Speaker 3 (11:28):

You get off your hands free yes, okay, there you
get that perfect a lot better, Hi, Michelle, true true
story happened to me. What happened?
Speaker 7 (12:16):
So I went on a cruise last year, actually with
my family, helped my husband, my two children, and it
was a four night, five day cruise. We got to
the port, we parked, we shuttled from the parking to
the port, and my luggage for myself and my husband,
which was the largest uit case we had out of
five pieces, never made.
Speaker 6 (12:36):
Up on the boat.
Speaker 1 (12:37):
So you went four day, four night, five day.
Speaker 3 (12:40):
Cruise with no clothes, Yes, sir, No, they didn't like
offer them.
Speaker 2 (12:46):
USTA didn't give you like a store credit to go
purchase some cabana ware.
Speaker 7 (12:51):
I'm not there's really nothing on the boat to buy
besides like, yes, you know, like I had, I mean,
and then that's fair. And then they gave us some
on board credits. It took the entire time, all the
way until the very last day I was in I
was at the guest services every single day in here crying. Yeah,
so stressed. It was my luggage and my my you know,
(13:13):
all my clothes, while my husband's clothes. Luckily I had
my like undergarments and everything in a separate bag that
I had packed in my son's suitcase. But that's all
I had. My husband had nothing. What was undergarments?
Speaker 1 (13:26):
What was your protocol? Oh? Where'd you go? Where'd you go?
Speaker 7 (13:33):
Oh? We went to Bahamas and you should have stopped.
Speaker 1 (13:36):
At the Flea mark, got t shirts and ten dollars
and got a little reggae hat with the with the
reggae I ended up having to do.
Speaker 7 (13:43):
I got off the boat with my daughter and we
spent the entire days just walking around trying to gather
up as much as we could just to get by
the next couple of days. But you know that alone
is not cheap, and its like.
Speaker 3 (13:55):
You're supposed to be enjoying your vacation meanwhile you're shopping.
Is all you have is underwear?
Speaker 7 (14:01):
Stressful thing I've ever heard. And just to find out
that the luggage was actually taken It never went on
the boat, and I don't understand that part of it,
but it was taken back by the company that shuttled
us from.
Speaker 1 (14:15):
The They never took it off the bug. They never
took it off they never did.
Speaker 5 (14:18):
It was off the bus. They just didn't tag.
Speaker 7 (14:20):
It instead of just putting it on the boat, which
is the only boat at that port, and I would
have found it. Then they took it back, but they
just didn't have it tagg because I forgot to tag
the luggage. But you can get it tagged by them,
but they forgot to tag it. So we left everything
and we went onto the terminal.
Speaker 1 (14:39):
Okay, so how did they how did how did everybody
make it right for you?
Speaker 7 (14:44):
I mean, I guess it is what it is. They
did give us some on board credits, not very much.
I mean it covered just to enjoy our drinks, which
helped enjoy the cruise. But essentially they gave us some
credits afterwards. But their claim was that it was not
that fault the insurance.
Speaker 1 (15:01):
You didn't get the insurance, yea, And the.
Speaker 7 (15:03):
Insurance would have covered your belongings if they got lost.
Speaker 1 (15:07):
But it's only a certain amount.
Speaker 7 (15:08):
You're found and it didn't disappear. But it was just
the most stressful I can imagine. I've never been in
a situation like that, and it was the most thing
I've ever got.
Speaker 1 (15:16):
You made a mistake. You went shopping shopping in the Bahamas.
You should have gone right over to the straw market
and you could have got your ten shirts, you got
some shorts. They I all would have had bahamas on them.
Now you know, Mahammad down for about two or three days.
You did.
Speaker 7 (15:28):
But even though they're like fifteen twenty bucks, you don't
have negotiate.
Speaker 1 (15:32):
I would have said, don't worry, be happy. Mom, Pretty lady,
Pretty lady.
Speaker 7 (15:36):
You said, I mean I didn't have bathing suits nothing.
My husband had not been.
Speaker 1 (15:40):
So Michelle, this is so. This is what you did.
You went up and said how much of the shirts?
And they said fifteen dollars and you said, okay, that's
not how you do it.
Speaker 7 (15:51):
I was just spreading out. I want to get enough
clothes to get fired.
Speaker 1 (15:54):
But I love you, Yeah, he loved you.
Speaker 5 (15:57):
Well.
Speaker 7 (15:57):
It was the worst experience.
Speaker 1 (15:59):
And I've never got fifteen dollars. Give me three search.
Speaker 7 (16:01):
I will never let my luggage be checked again. I
will carry it with me through the boat. I don't
care you.
Speaker 1 (16:06):
Hold on a second.
Speaker 3 (16:06):
Oh that's awful.
Speaker 1 (16:07):

my husband, my father was being buried in.
Speaker 1 (16:49):
The National Cemetery.
Speaker 4 (16:53):
Cemetery, Yes, and it was a heartbreaking weekend. And on
the way back, the weather got so bad. I mean
for Floridians, it wasn't that. It was like wind and
rain and whatever. Washington d C. Goes down the entire
the entire airport, and I was thinking to myself, oh
my god, that's a Saturday afternoon in Florida. But all
(17:16):
I have to say, I was getting off the plane
and I was at the back of the plane. So
I was coming off with the flight attendants and I
called my husband and I was like, find me a room.
I can't get out of the city. And you can't
sleep in the airport there. You can't even lay your
head down. And so I call. I called him and
he was like, well, it's like one thousand dollars for
(17:38):
a sweep. I was like, well, if there's one book it,
I don't care what it is. I'm not gonna stream
around all night, like where am I going to go?
So he So the flight attendants couldn't get their their
the company they worked for couldn't get rooms either, And
I said, girls, I'm getting ready to get a suite.
(17:59):
You can come with me. And my husband went to
book it and it got booked right before he hit
the at the end closed the deal. And then the
flight attendants, they're person that takes care of their business,
books them rooms in Virginia and uh a limo ride
(18:21):
to Virginia to the hotel. And they looked over at
me and they said, come with us. We got an
extra room. So I got an extra room, I got
a free limo ride, I got a hotel stay and
free breakfast.
Speaker 1 (18:35):
Look at you, wow, but you know what, you extended
the kindness first and then they said.
Speaker 4 (18:42):
Okay, yeah, they said get in well, because one of
their they had one person on their crew that was
like roamed off. Want to be part of want to
didn't want to be part of the crew. And they
said and they said, jump in. We got an extra room. Girl,
(19:02):
get in.
Speaker 2 (19:03):
Oh, that's that's pretty cool. That's that does sound like
have an adult film come with us, we're all flight.
Speaker 3 (19:10):
Attendent, or like a Lifetime movie where they all get sex,
traffigate or something.
Speaker 1 (19:15):

you from Orlando, Victoria. Good morning. Wow, that took an

the maintenance person at the apartment Accomplix.
Speaker 5 (19:55):
I don't know. Nobody was like your first responder like
with the alarm, with the emergency inspection. I opened the
door and I said, you guys are here for the inspection.
And I opened the door. I let them in and
then they say, no, we are here. Are you waiting
for us? And I'm like, yes, is this the inspection?
And they say no, we're here because your car was
(20:18):
used to commit across And I'm like, what just story
happening to me? Like? How come? I mean I rented
my car? By then my car was rented to a
person that I don't know because it was through a
friend of a friend.
Speaker 7 (20:32):
