Speaker 4 (03:38):
Hello, good morning.
Speaker 1 (03:39):
All right, I got you first. You had to go so,
what what's your yes or no? Go ahead?
Speaker 4 (03:44):
So in one of your shows you said that sometimes
we're in the radio and you can be out as
busily as tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (03:50):
Oh yeah, with.
Speaker 4 (03:51):
Sometimes you guys talk about executives or higher up.
Speaker 5 (03:55):
And that's so a nice fashion.
Speaker 4 (03:57):
Can you ever be concerned about being fired?
Speaker 1 (04:01):
No? No, and it will come back. Do you mean
for that, like for what we say? Are we concerned
about being fired? Yeah? Okay no, ray I no, no.
And and the reason, the reason why is I don't
know why I feel like, but his thing. We could
(04:23):
be fired for anything, but I don't think we'll be
fired for that. Nothing we've said is is inaccurate. So
like I would, I would almost dare you to use
that as your reason. Now, you can get fired every
second of every day in radio. Absolutely, you can have
the best show in your life, walk out, get fired.
But that won't be. That won't be it. Does that
make sense to you?
Speaker 4 (04:43):
It does make sense because I think about that all
the time I work. You watch your words, so when
I hear you, guys, I'm like, oh my gosh, I
hope I hear you from.
Speaker 1 (04:51):
Right Like Jeremy Rice hype song suck like that you
talk about something like that.
Speaker 4 (04:55):
Yeah, the one that you particularly take on.
Speaker 5 (05:00):
I can not remember his name.
Speaker 1 (05:01):
J J Rice, j J Rice, the Rice Man. That's
our boss, Yeah, my boss. Yeah. I actually love JJ.
I love them too. Sometimes I as you know, people
you love sometimes you want to throw them off a buildings. Yes,
but I don't believe in that boss term. I don't
like that. So we were out somewhere at the meeting
and he said, ye, jaman's your boss. I'm like, I
know boss right now. He's like, oh, you do what
(05:21):
you want. No, I don't do what I want. But
I ain't got no boss. It's a boss. I don't
like that term. All right. We also do get a
little creative license because you'd be like a joke's on
the radio. Yeah, yeah, yeah, No. If we really didn't
like and we wouldn't talk about it all in the meeting,
we wouldn't. We wouldn't talk. That's just respect from Davenport. Erica.
Good morning, Erica. She got there you hey, Erica, good morning?
(05:47):
All right? Well yes or no? What you got?
Speaker 5 (05:50):
My question is for Brian, if you have to do
it all over again, would you still choose radio as
your career path.
Speaker 1 (05:57):
That's a good one. Hard, that's a good one. Yes
or no? Yes or no? To be honest, no, it
is no. All right, that's something you elaborate if you
want to or not.
Speaker 4 (06:10):
No.
Speaker 1 (06:10):
I mean I just didn't take into account the volatility
and the well, it wasn't like that when we got in.
Speaker 3 (06:15):
Right, and and I feel like maybe this is arrogant.
I feel like there's much bigger things I could be doing.
Speaker 5 (06:23):
Okay, that's fair, Okay, all.
Speaker 1 (06:25):
Right, let's go here to TJ. TJ. What's the TJ?
All right? All right? What is your question? Yes or no? Well?
Speaker 2 (06:34):
I was going to ask, you know, if I come
down there and take that extra seat, y'all got over there.
Speaker 1 (06:39):
Well, let me help you with that.
Speaker 6 (06:40):
No ask Ray, why ye ask me cold right to
understake your question?
Speaker 7 (06:47):
Oh my gosh, No, TJ. I asked you like three
times what your question was. And I was like, y'all,
I love me some TJ.
Speaker 1 (06:53):
But I don't know what he's saying.
Speaker 8 (06:56):
Oh no, y'all, did I know?
Speaker 1 (06:57):
I couldn't talk right?
Speaker 6 (06:58):
No, ate the way that you talk, DJ, you talk fine, man.
Speaker 1 (07:04):
I understand where you come from.
Speaker 2 (07:05):
That.
Speaker 8 (07:05):
Well it's a it's a Louisiana, New York.
Speaker 1 (07:09):
Yeah, it's a weird combination, bro, it's a weird combination.
Speaker 2 (07:14):
All right.
Speaker 1 (07:14):
I love that from from Orlando. I don't understand what
it sa.
Speaker 6 (07:18):

Speaker 1 (07:38):
Now you're part of the family, and don't be a stranger.
All right, what you got?
Speaker 5 (07:42):
All right? Would you guys be able to run a farm?
Speaker 9 (07:47):
Be a cowboy?
Speaker 1 (07:48):
That ain't what you asked, That is not what you
ask I wrote down what you asked.
Speaker 4 (07:53):
Someone asked my question already, so I had to off
who asked?
Speaker 1 (07:57):
Nobody asked you a question?
Speaker 4 (07:59):
Yeah, would you guys be on radio forever if you could?
Speaker 1 (08:02):
Oh, well, that's a different question. Question was what I
was asked now now that I'm here, Yes, I'd be
on the radio, So asked the original question. Her original
question was do you.
Speaker 5 (08:13):
Plan to do you guys stay on radio forever?
Speaker 1 (08:17):
If if you could, like, well, for me, radio forever.
Ain't that faught with? I'm looking right at right now,
so for me, Yes, I'm laying at it forever. I
see you, I see you microphone right, like Brian said,
(08:37):
now that I'm here.
Speaker 3 (08:38):
Yes, okay, yes, yeah, like this point, I feel like
actually I've earned the right to do that because I've
gotten a lot of people promoted and a lot of
people paid, so damn it, let me finish this up.
Speaker 5 (08:48):
Nothing wrong with that.
Speaker 8 (08:49):
I just want to Yeah, I.
Speaker 1 (08:50):
Know, I'm with you. I got what you're saying. She
talking about hen you'll be a cowboy.
Speaker 7 (08:55):
To answer that, Yes, that could be a cowboy.
Speaker 1 (08:57):
I would.
Speaker 6 (08:58):
I would live in the bunk house. No sixes all day.
Johnny says, no, what you got?
Speaker 7 (09:03):
Yes, I'm luxy here. Sarah on the stream wants to
know if we ever dislike some of the callers as
much as they do.
Speaker 1 (09:11):
I don't know about dis liking. It's more of not
we get annoyed. We get annoyed. Yes okay, says yes
or no? Yes, yes, yes, not me? Okay, keep going?
You said a liar?
Speaker 7 (09:22):
Ayes Brian, do you ever regret creating the stream from Jen?
Speaker 1 (09:28):
No? No, no, no. As many ways as people can interact,
I like it and think, Okay, Brian, what you got?
Let's see this is yes or no? Do you miss
doing red hot and boom? No? No, no, I'm going
to say yes.
Speaker 7 (09:41):
You could say yes, I say I'm going to say yes,
Well you did it fifteen years longer than I did.
Speaker 1 (09:45):
I do know what I did was red hot. Now
they're expected two hundred thousand people, right, If someone offered
you a million dollars no last question? Oh yes, I
do miss this Okay, Yeah, yeah, I don't miss some
of the work that goes into it, but I'm it's
the event itself. Someone offered you a million dollars to
never do radio again, would you say yes at.
Speaker 6 (10:07):
This point in my career, yeah, yeah, yeah, a million
bucks right now? You ain't coming back tomorrow to reference
that last question, yes, I what.
Speaker 1 (10:19):
It ain't hard at all? Right, early retirements. Yes, yes,
I already hit him back and said where's my million? Yes? Absolutely,
I take the million. All right, we're gonna get these
to Patricia, she was the first one, and we're gonna
hook you up with Mars de Freestyle coming up at
the KIS in August eighth, the night I got some
Disney Water Park tickets and Disney H two O Glow
(10:39):
after our tickets. But first we must hear the true
stories that happened to me. Let's go to Sam in Orlando. Sam,
Good morning, good morning, how are y'all good?
Speaker 8 (10:51):
Good?
Speaker 1 (10:51):
Good? True story? What happened?
Speaker 9 (10:53):
I know, like literally some final destination stuff. But I
know I'm protected, but I was just driving and out
of nowhere, this car in front of me, the latter
a ladder in the back literally flew out right towards
my car. Thankfully I was I'm on the highway also,
so it came out like full force. Thankfully I was
(11:15):
able to dodge the ladder because I had to get
in the shoulder of the left lane. But yeah, so
that was insane. And then yesterday, I'm just trying to
remind everyone keep your cars then the way because yesterday,
out of nowhere, like everyone's getting on the I floor.
We're going like fifty five miles an hour because you
know the traffic all week. Yeah, and out of nowhere,
(11:35):
someone like three cars in front of me brakes checked
someone else. There was no accident, there was nothing in
the road, nothing, So everyone's slamming on their brakes and
that was really scary too. So I don't know, weird
things are happening. Everyone keep your car lunks the way
A ladder like no, like literally you you said that.
(11:56):
So I was like, ooh, Disney Water Park tickets. That
sounds cool, but I don't have a story. And then
literally five seconds later, the truck in front of me,
Like no, like, no joke, Like a ten foot ladder
flew out of the bed of the truck.
Speaker 1 (12:08):
It just happened today, just now.
Speaker 9 (12:10):
No, like literally, like literally three minutes ago.
Speaker 1 (12:14):
You might want to.
Speaker 9 (12:16):
Yeah, I'm being I'm trying to be very careful.
Speaker 8 (12:20):
So yeah, your true story.
Speaker 1 (12:23):
We've never done an instant true for instant one. Yeah.
Speaker 9 (12:27):
I love listening to what people say on these And
then I.
Speaker 1 (12:31):
Was like, what the heck? So yeah, I'm glad you're
paying attention. And hold on, just paying attention. That's some
scary stuff. Uh. Tammy from Kasimi, Good morning, Good morning. True.
Speaker 5 (12:44):
Mine wasn't today. Mine was about a long time ago.
Growing up in New York. My cousin worked in JFK Airport.
When I was going, I was waiting for her to
get off, and Michael Jackson actually came through the airport
and I did get to talk to him. I did
get to meet him.
Speaker 1 (13:02):
How did you walk up there? How you walk up
to Michael Jackson? Walk?
Speaker 2 (13:06):
No?
Speaker 5 (13:06):
No, no, I was in the back. My cousin worked
in JFK Airport in Japan Airlines, so I was just
waiting for her to get off from work. So I
was sitting in the back like in her office, and
they brought him through the back and then he came
in and I knew who We all knew who he was.
That was back in the day when it was ABC
(13:29):
and all that.
Speaker 1 (13:29):
Oh are you talking about Jackson? Michael jacks He was
a kid, kid, Michael Jackson. That does change it a little. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (13:37):
Yeah, he had the thro and stuff. I do still
I still have the autograph to this day.
Speaker 1 (13:43):
Oh wow.
Speaker 5 (13:44):
Actually signed a paper to me at the airport, and
I didn't know.
Speaker 1 (13:48):
What was what was his brothers?
Speaker 5 (13:51):
I don't know. I didn't ask. He was by himself
with a lot of people around him, a lot of people,
and he wrote to Tammy. I still know it, loved
Michael Jackson. He put the year the date, and I
asked him, why did you do that? He said, because
if anybody ever wanted to know, if it was mean
to look up my itinerary. To this day, I still
(14:17):
have that paper. I still have it in.
Speaker 1 (14:19):
A in a in a voice, I believe her. What
was the date?
Speaker 5 (14:23):
I sweat God, and I couldn't even.
Speaker 1 (14:25):
Make sense because check date.
Speaker 5 (14:28):
Okay, so it was nineteen seventy eight.
Speaker 1 (14:31):
Okay, what what month?
Speaker 5 (14:33):
I don't know the exact date. It was in the
summer and it was in JFK and he went through
Japan airlines.
Speaker 1 (14:42):
Okay, right, I'm gonna look it up.
Speaker 5 (14:44):
I'm gonna you know what, I never call right and
when you believe for some reason it brought up. But
I do have the picture. I do have the thing.
I'm gonna one day. I don't I live. I believe you, Ye,
I'm in keats all the time, food all the time.
Speaker 1 (15:04):
If you see bride up with key foods, yep, take
take him over if he's over key foods, and say, Brian, ha,
I got it. All right. That's the first round. Four
O seven now one nine one O six seven eight
seven seven nine one nine one O six seven. We
got a lady who the car just dodged the ladder,
and someone else says she sweats she saw Michael Jackson
from the Michael Jackson from the Jackson five back in
(15:25):
the day. All right, can you beat those stories. We're
gonna find out. We're gonna hook somebody up Disney Water Park.
Take us at Disney H two o' glow. Next round,
coming up true stories it happened to me and the
young lady who's just called to say they got robbed.
Your phone dropped calls right now, We're gonna go raw man,
I'm going wrong up in here. Yeah all right, Xcel,
Good morning? Who's this hold on? Dennim? Xcel? Good morning?
(15:49):
Hey Corey?
Speaker 2 (15:51):
Good morning, Johnny?
Speaker 1 (15:52):
How you doing? A true story? Happened?
Speaker 2 (15:55):
So true story. We were younger, we were in our
early twenties, and we had a few drinks and me
and my brother in law decided that we wanted to
see if a beer bottle standing in the middle of
a flame would touch the bottom of a car. So
we set up like fifteen twenty beer bottles and a
nice little straight line and a zigzag and then a
little pyramid at the end, and we hit in the
(16:17):
bushes and we were waiting for the car to come,
and I looked at my brother in law and I
was like, wouldn't it be crazy if this was a cop?
And sure enough, Lake County cop.
Speaker 1 (16:26):
Cars and driving down the road.
Speaker 2 (16:28):
Every single one of them beer bottles.
Speaker 1 (16:30):
It was hilarious.
Speaker 2 (16:31):
We hid in the bushes for like ten minutes while
he's shining his spotlight through the trees.
Speaker 1 (16:36):
Wow, and he finally just drove off. Yep, yep.
Speaker 2 (16:40):
We laid in that bush for twenty thirty minutes properly.
Speaker 1 (16:43):
You're lucky you have a dog, right, wow. Wow, okay, okay,
all right that oh yeah, uh. What's happening over in Lakendah.
Speaker 10 (16:57):
Yeah, Sam old stuff man had some good rain yesterday.
But everything's good.
Speaker 1 (17:01):
All right. So true story. What happened to you, Dano?
This is this is real.
Speaker 8 (17:04):
Yeah, I got Michael Jackson one too.
Speaker 1 (17:07):
Of course you do, of course you do.
Speaker 8 (17:09):
Seriously.
Speaker 10 (17:10):
My father died in the classident back in nineteen eighty two.
We lost total contact with my family, my dad's family
for the past twenty five years, you know, and they
reconnected with us, and once we got to know, you know,
my uncle.
Speaker 1 (17:24):
Was my aunt's.
Speaker 10 (17:25):
One of my aunts literally took care of Michael Jackson
at the hotel where the kids the family would.
Speaker 8 (17:31):
Drop off the kids and at the elevator remember.
Speaker 10 (17:34):
That back in the day, she took care of that
that candle for him at the penthouse with the kids,
and the whole story that happened years ago.
Speaker 1 (17:41):
So yea, your aunt was in the hotel with Michael
Jackson and the kids.
Speaker 8 (17:45):
Yea, yeah, she was the housekeeper. She cleaned up and
you know, made sure everything was.
Speaker 10 (17:49):
Good for the kids and comfortable. And she told us
last story, we blew our mind.
Speaker 1 (17:54):
Yep, yep.
Speaker 10 (17:56):
He left every month, every month.
Speaker 8 (17:58):
He would leave her forty thousand hours.
Speaker 1 (18:00):
Tip. Does she know? Does she know what was happening
up in there?
Speaker 2 (18:04):
Uh?
Speaker 10 (18:05):
Yeah, yeah, she told us some stories, man, but it
wasn't why the media said at all and crazy.
Speaker 1 (18:10):
And parents just dropped their kids off to Michael Jackson's penthouse.
Speaker 8 (18:14):
Remember that time, remember yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
she she too.
Speaker 10 (18:18):
She was the housemaid they you know, in the penthouse,
you know, looking after them, cleaning after them, the kids.
Speaker 1 (18:23):
You know, you have You've had the most amazing life.
Speaker 8 (18:27):
Now, listen, I ain't lying about this one.
Speaker 1 (18:32):
This is crazy. Yep, yep. I'm not saying. I'm not
saying you're live. I've not once said you're live. You
say you've had an amazing life because of some of
the some of the stories tell this stuff.
Speaker 10 (18:42):
This stuff that's happened to me. I wonder sometimes too, man,
this stuff happens.
Speaker 8 (18:47):
It's crazy. Yeah, yep.
Speaker 1 (18:51):
I mean.
Speaker 8 (18:51):
The other Michael Jackson story is pretty good too.
Speaker 1 (18:57):
The live streams does not believe that. Uh Donna'll go
into the law scream and tell him, my goodness, this
ain't just a cat, this is a sombreros.
Speaker 2 (19:10):
M.
