Speaker 1 (00:00):
Now the Johnny's House Entertainment News. We three.
Speaker 2 (00:04):
All right, So over the weekend the box office five
Nights at Freddy's Too was pretty big.
Speaker 3 (00:09):
It's pretty massive.
Speaker 2 (00:10):
So what they're saying is that it opened with the
record sixty three million in the United really yeah.
Speaker 3 (00:17):
Yeah, I know wow. And then Zoobotopia.
Speaker 2 (00:21):
Went past nine hundred and fifteen million, So I mean
the box.
Speaker 3 (00:24):
Office is doing while Yeah.
Speaker 2 (00:27):
So what they're saying is that five nights of Friday,
opening two months after the Black Phone came out and
all that stuff, they topped the domestic box office if
you look at it, for sixty three million dollars.
Speaker 3 (00:38):
But I mean they're doing great.
Speaker 2 (00:40):
I'm excited because remember there was a time where we
were like nervous for the movies.
Speaker 3 (00:44):
Yes, we're like nobody's going.
Speaker 4 (00:46):
I used to go and love it. I love it. Yeah,
I knew it wouldn't go sustain.
Speaker 5 (00:50):
I'm a movie theater fan. I would love to see
stuff in the theater and I don't even mind it.
Confessed to being ridiculous. I get it, it is what
it is.
Speaker 2 (00:56):
Yeah, we saw yesterday that AMC delivers popcorn on door
ash and stuff.
Speaker 6 (01:00):
I was like, really, Yeah, this center Mark by my house.
You can go bags of popcorn, like to take home
with you.
Speaker 3 (01:07):
Is that crazy?
Speaker 6 (01:08):
I mean like bags, I mean like garbage bag.
Speaker 2 (01:10):
Oh my gosh, Miley Cyrus, she is engaged. I don't
know if you saw that last week. Yeah, she came
out talking about how she is engaged. And she was
talking about with Jimmy Kimmel how she has this fear
of paper. And I've never heard of that before, but
I guess you know, of just paper in general, like
(01:31):
the yeah, like the feeling.
Speaker 3 (01:32):
Of paper, the sound of paper.
Speaker 2 (01:34):
Yeah, And I thought it was crazy, But then when
I was looking at the comments underneath the interview, there
were so many people that were like, I have the
same fear. So she said that it's like it's kind
of like a gagging feeling. Yes, whenever she sees, like
or hears paper. But she said around the Christmas time,
(01:55):
obviously she has a big issue because of like the
wrapping paper. And she said that Amazon packages are the
worst because it's like the thick paph.
Speaker 6 (02:04):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (02:05):
But she was like, that's one.
Speaker 2 (02:06):
Of the main reasons why I got engaged, so she
could have a husband that can.
Speaker 3 (02:09):
Open up all the paper and I'm like, oh, that's funny.
Speaker 6 (02:11):
Everybody got their reason.
Speaker 7 (02:12):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (02:13):
So she said she's even thrown away handwritten letters because
of this fear, because she prefers text emails, phone calls,
and she thinks.
Speaker 3 (02:20):
That cardboard obviously is the worst.
Speaker 6 (02:21):
But yeah, I can see if it was a paper.
You haven't been had a paper cut.
Speaker 4 (02:25):
That's the worst. That is the absolute worst. Yeah, I
can see that. She's like, nah, I just don't like it.
Speaker 3 (02:29):
Yeah. She it's just like the sound, the touch. She said,
it makes her hands.
Speaker 4 (02:33):
Feel dry, sound like mustard. But I can avoid that.
You can't avoid paper.
Speaker 6 (02:36):
No, it's everywhere I know.
Speaker 2 (02:38):
Yeah, and so that's what they were saying. They were like,
it's very hard to avoid that. She's like, yeah, it's
just like it's a gagging kind of feeling. But there's
two exceptions to her phobia, smooth wax paper and rolling
paper obviously, right of course.
Speaker 3 (02:50):
So I'm like, Joha, that's pretty interesting. Over the weekend.
I don't know if you saw this.
Speaker 2 (02:54):
Megan Markle reportedly reached out to her father after his
emerged see leg amputation.
Speaker 6 (03:01):
Oh yeah, you gotta reach out.
Speaker 2 (03:02):
So Thomas Markle Junior called a life or death situation. Obviously,
Megan and her father have been estranged since twenty eighteen
over like the stage paparazzi photos.
Speaker 3 (03:13):
Remember that, ye go to the paparazzi.
Speaker 4 (03:17):
Yay, hey guys, I'll be at this store getting beer
at ten thirty. The bottom line is you ain't gonna
break me off something somebody will.
Speaker 6 (03:23):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (03:23):
And so she described like obviously this wholely press involvement,
like she just did not like it whatsoever. But according
to this, she did reach out to him because he
was in ICU and they confirmed the contact between Thomas
Markle Junior and Megan Markle.
Speaker 4 (03:40):
Good good because you got a call. Yeah, if something
was to happen, you didn't reach out. You have to
live with that to rescue life.
Speaker 8 (03:46):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (03:46):
And she even says, like in past interviews that she's
lost her father. So a lot of people were like, oh,
did he die, didn't pass away? But no, She's just like,
if it.
Speaker 4 (03:55):
Was my dad, I get one one dad. Seriously, Okay,
you can't do that. They're going to make me cut
you off. Yeah, Like, if you don't stop back to
the loves, don't do that.
Speaker 3 (04:03):
You would think the royal family would reach out like
shut it down.
Speaker 5 (04:06):
Yeah, shut it I mean that would have been the
next step is Look, if you get two out of pocket,
you will.
Speaker 6 (04:10):
You'll like, it's for real, There'll be some people with
accents at your door right way, worse than just losing
the leg. Buddy.
Speaker 4 (04:17):
All right, it's been a busy weekend for all of
us this weekend, and we're gonna fill you in with
all the stuff we did coming up next to on
Johnny's house. Hey, yesterday we needed to rain. But come
on now, seventies of high sixty four right now. We
all had very busy weekends. We all had things to
do with the Baby DJ program. Let's see. Mine started
Friday night. The kid wanted to spend the weekend with
(04:37):
his grandmother, so I said, okay, I'll take you over there.
And then the next morning he had SAT so I
had to go pick him back up from over there,
take him to the SATs at Orange High West Orange
High School, waited at home for three hours, picked him up,
then went over to the Ovito Mall. And I gotta
thank Cone Elevators, I U e C. Local one thirty nine,
Southwest Elevators, TK Elevators and Country House restaurant. They brought in,
(05:00):
I mean a lot of toys, and we sat there
and we watched them bring them in and helped them
and I thanked them all. And then I went by
my girl's house for a minute because I had an
appearance that night. And I'm sitting there and I'm like, okay, okay,
if I do this, then the mom good. So I
get this text now, Johnny Madgic, thirty six years in
the Game Hall of Famer. I get a text from
Ray you got forty eight hours to watch the Diddy
(05:23):
docu series because Brian and I are about to unload
on Monday.
Speaker 6 (05:27):
Get to work. Tok baby, TikTok, TikTok, And.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
Like every time you said let's go to the bathroom,
I'm like, let's.
Speaker 5 (05:35):
Talk about this, because I've watched the whole thing. Now, Yes,
because I started it and got behind, but now I'm
caught up. I watched the entire thing. So I left
there with my wife.
Speaker 4 (05:43):
Even watched the whole thing. Yeah, I went to a
Loma Bowl, had another Baby DJ event. It went extremely well.
Got back to her, I'll say, what do you do.
I'm like, obviously I got to watch this.
Speaker 6 (05:54):
True.
Speaker 4 (05:55):
So I fell asleep watching half of it, and I
watched it all yesterday. So okay, okay, we're good.
Speaker 3 (06:03):
Let's just say all the roads lead back to Ditty.
Speaker 6 (06:05):
Yeah. Yeah, he's the freaking devil, I mean as a human. Wow.
Speaker 4 (06:11):
And then Sunday I had the brightest day. They delivered
my washing dry nice on a rain. As soon as
they pulled up, the race started coming down.
Speaker 9 (06:20):
Man.
Speaker 6 (06:21):
So I got that done to some audrey and here
we are to day. Right.
Speaker 2 (06:25):
It was good.
Speaker 3 (06:26):
Friday.
Speaker 2 (06:27):
I didn't do anything just because like Saturday morning, Yeah,
Saturday morning, we woke up at five o'clock to the
Oh you see half marathon?
Speaker 6 (06:34):
How many people there?
Speaker 3 (06:35):
Four thousand, four thousand runners? So yeah, it was it
was insane.
Speaker 2 (06:40):
I I did finish, and I finished a lot better
than I thought I was gonna do, So it was incredible.
And shout out to the people with the signs and
standing in their yards cheering because we there was one
stop where there was like beer they were giving out
and so like chugged beer.
Speaker 6 (06:57):
Running off. I'm I'll just run next door.
Speaker 2 (07:02):
But it's just so cool how the city like comes
out and just like motivates everybody and each other so
it was incredible. There was a sign that said Diddy's
Ditty's half marathon time was nine minutes and forty four
seconds a mile, so they're like, you got to pick
up the place, Like I love these signs. But yeah,
and then after that, I had to go to uh
(07:22):
a friend's part country club opening party, so we did that,
and then we went to a birthday party and then
we had the baby DJ part the Firefighter, so we
had four events. Yeah, and then yesterday I didn't move.
Speaker 3 (07:36):
It did not move.
Speaker 4 (07:37):
How to put money wouldn't coming in here today? Really,
all you had to do is Saturday. Once the adrenaline
you know left you, Oh yeah, and your body kicked
in with every day I felt like you're gonna walking
ahead with a limp, like, oh well.
Speaker 3 (07:48):
My toes are killing me, My toenails are gonna pop off.
Speaker 6 (07:52):
For sure, leave the shoes on. I ain't trying to
see that big. It was cool.
Speaker 5 (07:56):
So I spent a lot of time at Key Food
over the weekends because they had a bunch of grand
open and we're always partnering with them. So I did
that over on Chicken Saw Trail, and then I did
the one over in Port Orange as well, so we're
all over like different parts of the earth. So that
was my Friday and then early Saturday, and then I
got home and sat down for like thirty minutes and
then went over to the Citrus Tower in Claremont.
Speaker 6 (08:18):
Matt Wheatley and the Wheatly Realty group. They always do
this everyday, the lighting of the Citrus Tower. Jay's lights.
He said, hello, by the way, Archie and Sparky was there.
So what they do is they light They have these
lights that they put up the Citrus Tower, which is
a really cool, you know, old school tower they used
to use to make sure there was no fires in
the groves and then it's all to like a cool
music track and it snows and it's like a big thing.
(08:39):
So they do that and they use it as a
baby DJ toy collection spot. So got a whole big
U haul full of toys. We loaded that up and
we'll get that today. So that was pretty cool. And
then by the time I got home, it was like, man,
I've been gone since nine o'clock this morning. So I
watched some football and fell asleep, and then yesterday I
was gonna do so many things. I had so many
things on my list, but the weather. So I'm like,
(09:00):
you know what, I ain't mad. I'm gonna lay around
this house. Yeah, around the house.
Speaker 5 (09:04):
And I watched the Miami Hurricanes get selected to the
playoffs one five hundred and eighty dollars because Notre Dame
didn't make it.
Speaker 6 (09:11):
Woo ray.
Speaker 5 (09:12):
I bet forty dollars about six weeks ago that they
wouldn't make it. Yeah, randomly, and it paid out five
hundred and eighty bucks. Yeah gambling, dude, that paid for
any I mean, I'm way up now because I don't
bet much anyway, forty bucks. So I watched that, and
then I've been I have been talking so much junk
on Twitter and X for the last twelve hours, so
(09:32):
much fun, my engagement on exes.
Speaker 6 (09:36):
Through the roof, said someone in there film Orlando. They
could be listening.
Speaker 8 (09:41):
I don't know.
Speaker 6 (09:42):
They said that Disney's gonna go out of business because
Notre Dame didn't get is not going to go to
the Bowl game that's being played in Orlando because all
the Notre Dame fans ain't gonna come and keep Disney
in business.
Speaker 3 (09:51):
Oh and they were the only fans that were gonna come.
Speaker 4 (09:53):
About the one about Brian Grast. Oh that's another one.
This one made me laugh.
Speaker 5 (09:59):
Someone said, I know too, Brian Grimes is so you're
not v Brian Grimes, You're a brin.
Speaker 6 (10:07):
Get out of this game. To me, that was the
best one. I'm like, okay, see that was funny. Yeah,
play that was funny. Get out of the game. That
other one said I hooked up with the step mom.
But I think he's just being funny because I don't
remember looking up anyone stepmom. Who knows. Man, But you
love that stuff. Man, I have to close the X
because if I don't, I'll be on it all day,
all day. I had to put my phone in another
(10:27):
room yesterday to stop because it's so fun messing with
people and reading all of the stuff. Wow, that is
too cool.
Speaker 4 (10:34):
I would come back and talk more about the half
marathon that Ray did and also a special person that
she met. We'll do that next on Johnny So seventies
to high sixty four. Right now about eight thirty five,
eight thirty four this morning, we're going to help a
family out with our baby DJ programs to listen around.
Then you'll know exactly what it's all about. So Ray
tells me more about your your half marathon.
Speaker 2 (10:52):
Yeah, so I mean there was about four thousand runners
on Saturday. I yeah, it was really really nervous. Okay,
I was really nervous the night before. I felt like
I couldn't sleep, you know. But as soon as you
woke up, like I woke up at five am, and
I was just like ready, I'm like, we gotta do it, Okay,
you gotta sign.
Speaker 3 (11:11):
Up and do it, or we just got to show
up and do it.
Speaker 2 (11:13):
So we got there and they do like these pre
race things to get like people excited. They have all
these vendors out there. But yeah, and then you line
up and it's just insane. The atmosphere is so great though,
because like I said, everybody is motivating each other and
cheering each other on that.
Speaker 3 (11:29):
People come out of their houses and set.
Speaker 6 (11:31):
Up and it is so cool to see so many
people health conscious.
Speaker 2 (11:34):
Yeah yeah, yes, And there's so many different types of people.
You have different body sizes, ages, you know, it doesn't
it doesn't matter. And there I met somebody. He actually
finished in an hour and twenty minutes. Twenty minutes. He's
one of like the top fifty or whatever out of
four thousand for the guys, and he said that he
(11:56):
was listening to our podcast.
Speaker 3 (11:58):
Well he was wrong. I'm like, I'm like, how does
that motivate you? It was like, I hope we said.
Speaker 2 (12:03):
Something funnier like yeah, he said he was listening to
our freaking podcast.
Speaker 3 (12:07):
Awesome, wow, And I was just like mine blown back.
Speaker 6 (12:11):
Technically we ran with him. Yes, I'll take it, I'll
take it. I also finished in his record time. Yes.
Speaker 3 (12:17):
And then there's somebody else that was like, hey, I
was listening to the podcast while you ran by in
front of my house and it was like the funniest thing.
Speaker 2 (12:23):
So yeah, But anyways, there was a woman that was
seventy eight years old. She ran and she ran, and
I guess she's done like fourteen of these and so I'm.
Speaker 6 (12:32):
Just like she looked amazing.
Speaker 2 (12:34):
Yeah, and she just looks so happy and the fact
that like, our bodies will allow us to do that,
and like that's one thing that like Kim, she was like,
this isn't you're not qualifying for the Olympics.
Speaker 3 (12:44):
You're not doing you know, just do this to prove
to yourself that you can do it. Yes, and yeah,
and that's what she does. She just buys herself by herself.
Speaker 6 (12:51):
Did you cry when you cross finished one?
Speaker 2 (12:52):
I wanted to, but I think I was more focused
on not cramping and like crying that way to cry cramp.
Speaker 6 (13:00):
It was wrong with that, dude, He's crying and cramping.
Speaker 3 (13:03):
You know when you try to like not cry and
you have that like ball, Yeah, bro, and you're like
trying to cry.
Speaker 6 (13:07):
Let's go man. An accomplishment like that, I would lead
every every conversation I had for the next six months
would be led with the fact that I finished a marathon.
You know, you know I run a marathon. So what
do you guys went for lunch today?
Speaker 7 (13:20):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (13:20):
I told I told him. I was like, I might
put it in my bio Instagram.
Speaker 4 (13:23):
I would absolutely, Oh, day, how you doing. I'm doing
great considering I did a you know, mama to day.
Speaker 2 (13:30):
Right, But like and then I was listening to the
video of us crossing the line, and there was a
seventy four year old that crossed with us, but like
there was a seventy eight year old, Like there were
so many older people that I'm just like, you guys
are killing it right now, you.
Speaker 6 (13:41):
Know, it's cool? It was cool?
Speaker 4 (13:42):
Was that like when we did the pickleball thing. Yeah,
and there was a lot of older people up early
playing pillow ball. Yeah. And I'm sitting I'm sitting there,
going I need I need to stop moving because I'm
not far from y'all much more active than me.
Speaker 6 (13:54):
I could throw a rocket, y'all.
Speaker 4 (13:55):
That's how I about to start doing something mean while
I'm trying to pull myself out of a Yeah, I
just ate for the thirty time this morning.
Speaker 6 (14:04):

Speaker 10 (15:16):
I want to highlight my mom.
Speaker 6 (15:17):
Okay, let's talk about you now.
Speaker 4 (15:19):
You know?
Speaker 10 (15:19):
Not all right? So she retired from a teen parenting
school and in her retirement created an organization and every year,
you know, she talks about how you know, she's really tired,
she's getting older, her housewives, but the woman doesn't stop.
You know, there's somebody that needs die first formula. She
she just arranged for I think about forty kids to
(15:41):
get Christmas presents. She's having a big event at her house,
Turkeys for Thanksgiving, hams for Christmas. You know, during a hurricane,
I had someone contact me that there was, you know,
somebody that needed formula, and they were literally sending officers
to her house in the middle of the hurricane to
pick up formula. So, yeah, she just doesn't stop helping.
Speaker 4 (16:02):
And you're like, You're like, you're like mom, Mom, you
say you're tied. Rest baby, I'm a rest I'm a
rest baby. Yeah.
Speaker 10 (16:08):
My dad's like, settle down, settle down.
Speaker 6 (16:12):
Your Dad's like, you do you, baby, I'm gonna be
right here.
Speaker 4 (16:15):
You do you?
Speaker 6 (16:17):
All right? Hold on a second, Katie, Uh went to
Park Paula, Good morning.
Speaker 9 (16:22):
Morning.
Speaker 3 (16:23):
All right.
Speaker 6 (16:23):
Who do you want to who you want to highlight?
Speaker 11 (16:26):
A coworker? She is, actually I work in the hospital
in the emergency room. She's actually a paramedic. She's almost seventy.
I think this year. She turns to Sony and she
runs laps over all of us. She stays up all
night long. She won't watch the mental health patients. She
(16:48):
will be running all over the emergency room, restocking the
rooms and sheets. She does not stop.
Speaker 8 (16:57):
Her.
Speaker 4 (16:57):
Y'all up in there, Paula, y'all up in there, y'all
in the complaining talking about man twelve hours a day,
my goodness, and his lady's like real.
Speaker 11 (17:08):
She she clucks out in the morning, and I'm like, oh, well,
how we kid, they get some rest? Talk to a grass.
She said, No, I'm gonna clean. I gotta do some laundry.
I gotta go to the grocery store before it gets basic.
I'm like what.
Speaker 6 (17:24):
You said.
Speaker 4 (17:24):
Look, I ain't trying to slow down. I'm trying to
get you to pick up. That's what I'm trying to do.
Speaker 6 (17:29):
I got you.
Speaker 11 (17:30):
That's amazing.
Speaker 6 (17:31):
I love what's her name, Carol? Carol?
Speaker 5 (17:35):
Carol's getting that shout out Brown XL mobile power by
Attorney Dan Newlan. Interrect need to check. It's a no brainer.
Call Attorney Dan newl And someone said their dad got
their scuba diving certification when he turned sixty and he's
been my scuba buddy for the last decade.
Speaker 6 (17:48):
Wow. And then so I said, my parents are in
their sixties. They did their first five k earlier this year.
That's nice.
Speaker 5 (17:53):
They finished dead last, but that's okay. They said they
finished that day we held hand running in together and
they were first in their age group.
Speaker 8 (18:00):
Uh huh.
Speaker 5 (18:01):
But they probably the only one in the age group
because they're the only ones that are doing it at
that age.
Speaker 3 (18:04):
That's great.
Speaker 4 (18:05):
I was running like we beat every We only beat
one person. It was a slow DJ. I think he
said he did Morning Radio Johnny. I think this might
have been the same race where Ray was in their
age group.
Speaker 6 (18:14):
It took home. Ray also ran in the sixties age
group in one.
Speaker 4 (18:19):
Paula gots you up there and takets the lights on
over at the Bavard Zoo six and nine Thursday through
Sunday through January eighteenth, Ray.
Speaker 2 (18:27):
Was going on this battle between Katy Perry and an
eighty five year old veteran going on, still going on
on Johnny's.
Speaker 1 (18:33):
House now the Johnny's House Entertainment News.
Speaker 3 (18:36):
That's Ray, all right.
Speaker 2 (18:38):
So Katy Perry, if you don't remember, this happens back
in twenty twenty.
Speaker 3 (18:42):
This whole legal dispute now with the mansion over and Montecito.
Speaker 6 (18:47):
I think it is yeah.
Speaker 2 (18:49):
But yeah, so it's been years of arguments going back
and forth. This guy is eighty five years old, he's
a veteran. His name is Carl Westcott, and I guess
the judge just sided with Katy Perry and people are
not holding back online. Many are saying that the ruling
painted and uncomfortable picture. If you read the headline, it's
like a global pop star winning a financial fight against
(19:09):
an elderly ailing u now receiving hospice care.
Speaker 6 (19:13):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (19:13):
You know, it's not what I would expect from an astronaut.
That's all I expect better from our astron the image
of this. You know, you have a different standard you
have to live up to when you're a space.
Speaker 6 (19:25):
Way it used to be. Yeah, I would think.
Speaker 2 (19:26):
So it's that the legal victory may have been justified
on paper, but it lacked heart and there's a lot
of backlash that they're talking about. But her team came
out pointing that the financial losses have caused, uh, you know,
a lot of distress and this long delay and the
cost of repairing damage to the property and all this stuff.
Speaker 3 (19:45):
So I mean to look at it.
Speaker 2 (19:47):
Katy Perry basically won the five million dollar case against
an elderly That is what it comes down.
Speaker 6 (19:51):
She's worth three hundred and sixty million dollars.
Speaker 4 (19:54):
Like it's going to be fine, Katie Fairy's like, listen,
I understand y'all sympathetic with the laws of the laws
and the law of stated our favorite.
Speaker 6 (20:00):
So get out.
Speaker 5 (20:00):
If I have three hundred and sixty million dollars, I
would buy older kid. I would buy old people's homes and.
Speaker 6 (20:06):
Just say, hey, live in a beau I don't want
you to pay for anything. It's just the right thing
to do.
Speaker 2 (20:11):
Right, And so, like, the crazy thing is is that
he agreed to sell originally obviously, but he tried to
reverse his decision after he was like recovering from surgery.
Speaker 3 (20:19):
He was heavily medicated at the time.
Speaker 2 (20:21):
His family insisted that he didn't fully understand what he
was signing, but he was signing over the house to
Katy Perry, and that kind of like the contract was
invalid him.
Speaker 6 (20:30):
How do you enjoy your home knowing that you kicked
out a vet? I don't under eighty five year old VT.
Speaker 5 (20:37):
Look, I'm sure there's probably nuances to the story that
we don't know, because because when you're hear on the surface,
like we've met Katy Perry, like a nice person, Like
you're on the surface.
Speaker 6 (20:47):
You're like, there's no way that she is at face value.
This is what she's doing.
Speaker 2 (20:51):
And so I guess like the house has been deteriorating
because he's living in it hostice.
Speaker 6 (20:57):
Now she wants the house to live in.
Speaker 3 (20:59):
She wants, yes, so he signed over the house and
sold it to her for five million dollars.
Speaker 6 (21:04):
So is it like this lake front mountains in the bag?
Speaker 3 (21:07):
I don't understand.
Speaker 5 (21:08):
I mean land in California. It is hard to come
by in those kind of areas. So I could see
where she goes. Ooh, I want that side of the
mountain or whatever it is.
Speaker 3 (21:16):
Yeah, So I mean, but I mean, come on, now,
I know it looks like cher might be ready to
walk down the aisle again.
Speaker 6 (21:23):
Boyfriend, So he is.
Speaker 3 (21:27):
There's a thirty nine or or thirty nine age gap.
Speaker 6 (21:30):
Huh, So I don't know. So he's probably fitty because's
about eighty nine.
Speaker 3 (21:33):
She's about to know she's about eighty.
Speaker 6 (21:36):
I wasn't far off. I said eighty nine.
Speaker 2 (21:38):
She's seventy nine, and she turns eighty in May thirty.
The thirty nine year difference.
Speaker 5 (21:44):
Had no forty forty Yeah, thirty nine year difference, Yeah, yeah,
I mean forty.
Speaker 2 (21:49):
She doesn't a kid, He's not a kid, No, and
she does not care about the age difference. Obviously they're
both ready to commit to each other, is what this
article is saying. But Alexander Edwards is what his name is.
Speaker 3 (22:01):
And I guess.
Speaker 2 (22:01):
So she's about to turn eighty, like I said in May,
and this would be like a huge celebration for her
in the perfect time for her and Alexander to seal
the deal.
Speaker 3 (22:09):
So these are just what reports are saying.
Speaker 2 (22:11):
I don't know if she's really going to walk down
the aisle or what, but wow, she sees it as
like a big upcoming celebration and they've been together for
a while.
Speaker 4 (22:20):
So now one thing about Share. She has one of
the quickest divorces in Hollywood history.
Speaker 6 (22:26):
She yeah, she was.
Speaker 4 (22:27):
She married Greg Allman in nineteen seventy five and they
divorced nine days later.
Speaker 3 (22:33):
I mean, so, what was Nicholas Cage's wasn't his like
forty eight hours?
Speaker 6 (22:38):
Britney Spears was pretty quick too, was like over a weekend?
Speaker 12 (22:42):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (22:42):
Yeah, I mean again, share worth about four in the
mil so my man's like.
Speaker 2 (22:45):
I also, speaking of Britney Spears, there's speculations that the
Kardashians are trying to take Britney Spears under their wing,
and like, I don't want to say take care of her,
but like you know, they're kind of feeding off of
each other. So a lot of people are actually accusing
the Kardashians of feeding off Britney Spears.
Speaker 4 (23:03):
Like, listen, fandom, meat, y'all ain't bringing in the money
like you used to. Let's tap us to branch out.
I'm not kidding. They need something to talk about.
Speaker 6 (23:11):
They are on their show now talking about Kanye didn't
believe me about the robbery in twenty sixteen.
Speaker 5 (23:16):
Yeah, we're almost ten years ago now, and that's what
they're happening. They're out of stuff to keep up with,
so why not take a reclamation project it is and
make Britney Spears. I will just live off her drama
because they.
Speaker 4 (23:29):
Got nothing less and then have Britney over at the
house and Britney trash the house ratings goal.
Speaker 5 (23:35):
That'd be like me doing a podcast and wanting to
tell y'all about something Johnny and Me had a problem
with ten years ago.
Speaker 3 (23:39):
But like Chloe and Kim have been started with Britney
Spears a lot. She was in like a subhead. Oh
yeah whatever.
Speaker 4 (23:45):
Really, No, they're doing it for the show, but hopefully
hopefully they can help her if they're doing that with
the intentions of getting her some help.
Speaker 6 (23:51):
Yeah, you know, that's fine.
Speaker 3 (23:53):
Kanye did or she did say that Kanye.
Speaker 6 (23:55):
Didn't believe her about that.
Speaker 3 (23:57):
She set it up.
Speaker 5 (23:58):
Yeah, but okay, and that's all well and good. But
that's ten years old now. The reason you have to
bring that up now is because you've got nothing for
anyone to keep up with. Nope, that's it, and it's
still holding on to it, still holding on to it.
All right, first time today, we'll update you on what's trending.
Speaker 6 (24:12):
I ended up getting hers, just got the little socks
that come with it, Grinch shaker fries.
Speaker 9 (24:16):
Well.
Speaker 5 (24:17):
Over the weekend, the media, social media went crazy because
there was images that were floating around of a Grinch
meal at Chick fil A and it looked really good.
I mean it had like, you know, a Grinch bun,
and it had Grinch fries and a Grinch shake and
all of that stuff. And so everyone's freaking out because
they're like, oh, now there's going to be a Chick
fil A Grinch meal, and so everyone's going nuts and
they wanted to get it.
Speaker 6 (24:37):
Well, Chick fil A has not announced any such Grinch meal,
and I doubt very seriously that McDonald's would be cool
with that because they were doing the Grinch meal. It
is fake. So if you see it floating around, the
tip off should have been it says dropping Sunday on
the photo.
Speaker 5 (24:51):
Okay, Chick Filas on open on Sunday. Yeah, so they
got y'all, there is no Chick fil A Grinch meal.
But it was going crazy.
Speaker 6 (24:57):
I mean, I saw millions of shares this photo because
it wasn't legit, but it's AI generated. There's people at
home who created. Yes, yes it's.
Speaker 5 (25:06):
An AI generated photo, but it looks so legit and
everyone was jumping all over. But it said dropping Sunday
across the top, so you.
Speaker 6 (25:12):
Kind of should have know. It really wasn't dropping on Sunday.
Speaker 5 (25:14):
But go to McDonald's and get your Grinch bill because
my wife said, the shaker fries are actually pretty good.
Speaker 6 (25:19):
They like dill pickle. Oh yeah, it's got a deal
pickle salt.
Speaker 5 (25:22):
Yeah, okay, and then she got her limited edition socks
to check out this holiday season. If you are flying,
you should be nice in the airport so you don't
get put on the no fly list. But if you're
flying Delta, it actually might pay you. So they're celebrating
their one hundred year of service and they want to
encourage kindness through their Centennial Cheer program. So now through
January fifth, employees are going to offer Holiday Medallion gift
(25:46):
cards to travelers who show small gestures of kindness while
in the airpio for them, whether it's helping luggage, letting
someone exit the plane before them, helping somebody put their
stuff in the overhead, whatever it might be about cussing
out their agents, that's being human.
Speaker 6 (25:59):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (26:00):
But if they see you do something even randomly nice,
then you could get yourself a gift card. They said,
they're meant for people to embody the holiday spirit and
they're not connected to any sort of loyalty status, so
it doesn't matter what your status is.
Speaker 8 (26:12):
Nice.
Speaker 6 (26:13):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (26:13):
They arrange from special anniversary merchandise on the Delta Shop
to centennial gift sets to five hundred dollars.
Speaker 6 (26:21):
They have five hundred dollars Delta gift cards on some
of them. It is so you know, you never know
what you're going to get, so it's pretty cool. They're
also going to distribute forty thousand holiday.
Speaker 5 (26:28):
Certificates through their program to employees who are going above
and beyond as well, So it's not just the customers, everybody.
Speaker 4 (26:34):
Every airline should do that. Maybe we can change the
culture because yeah, people in airports now just mean not
necessarily workers, but people flying.
Speaker 5 (26:40):
Yeah, so that's pretty cool for them. And the Madison
Square Garden might be cursed for the Orlando Magic. So
it was back in November that Palo went down with
the growing strand in the first half against the Knicks twelve,
the game of the season, miss ten games after that. Well,
in New York yesterday, our current leading scorer Franz Wagner
went down early in the game, and at the end
today into the first quarter, they decided he wasn't gonna
(27:02):
come back. They had to do an MRI when they
got back to Orlando last night. It's a lower left
leg injury. And the Magic went on to lose they
don't know yet, went on to lose one o six
to one hundred to the Knicks the Magic back at
the Kia Center tomorrow night against the Miami Heat. Winner
is gonna take the lead in the Southeast Division because
we did beat the Heat on Friday, so we had
a solid weekend. We beat the Heat, and then last
night it was it was a tough one against the next. Well,
(27:22):
yesterday it started at noon. It was a noon tip off.
Speaker 6 (27:24):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (27:24):
Oh and by the way, my Miami Hurricanes and the
College Football National Championship playoff race after the twelve teams
were picked yesterday.
Speaker 4 (27:32):
So hi, Notre Dame fans are not happy today and
some of y'all like, shut up, and we got some
big bull games coming here.
Speaker 5 (27:37):
I'll tell you guys later this morning all the bull
games they're coming to us in because there's a lot
of big ones that are going to be coming here
over the next couple of weeks.
Speaker 6 (27:43):
All right, it's time for you to wake everybody up.
We do it on Mondays.
Speaker 4 (27:46):
We do it this time. It's called what is your
hype Song? That's a song that you like to hear,
that wakes you up, that makes you smile anytime you
hear it, it puts you in a great mood. We
want you to share that song with us and one
of you. We're gonna hook it with a pair of
floor tickets to the Trans Siberian Orchestra at the Kia
Center coming up on the thirteenth at seven thirty. These
are floor seats a fifth row. We're gonna hook you
(28:07):
up with that. Four O seven now one nine one
O six seven eight seven seven nine one nine one
O six seven. Try it for not to be a
song that we have played before, but we want to
hear the song to get you up and get you going.
We want to hear your hype song and we're gonna
sing you to the floor seats to the Trans Siberian Orchestra.
Four O seven now one nine one O six seven
eight seven seven nine one song nine one nine one
(28:28):
on six seven We get back, will all get hyped?
On Johnny's House the cloudy uh seventies of highs is
still sixty four, mes ray, it is yeah sixty four
right now. Don't forget. Baby DJ is underway coming up
in about an hour. We're gonna reach out see if
we can reach out and help a family with our program,
and we can't do it without your help. And a
lot of people donated over the weekend. But we still
got a long way to go. So if you want
(28:50):
to find out ways that you can help out, go
to babydj dot org. Speaking of Christmas, man, what do
the people want?
Speaker 5 (28:55):
According to a new survey, they want cash money really, yeah,
sixty percent of people said they want cash over gifts.
I'm not surprised by that same here. Yeah, what shocked
me was the amount of money they want.
Speaker 6 (29:07):
Okay, what's that say? The average person hopes for just
over six hundred dollars. Okay, I'm thinking collectively maybe collectively maybe,
but even then, like, I can't even think of it,
but who would add up?
Speaker 5 (29:21):
And I'm thinking of my own personal situation, so ill
apply it to my son. I can't think of enough
people combined that would get him to six hundred and
twenty dollars. But the average person is saying that's what
they hope to get.
Speaker 4 (29:32):
Wow, yeah, my kid. We set out about about a
month ago. I'm like, hey, listen, you know you haven't
mentioned or said anything that you want.
Speaker 6 (29:41):
What do you want?
Speaker 4 (29:42):
He goes, well, I got everything I want. I'm like,
but I gotta give you something because it looks bad
on me. Right, So you need to tell something. He goes,
how about cash? Okay, I'll give you cash. Okay, So
I'm gonaive him cash. I can't say on the air
because then he would know how much cash. Yeah he's
gonna get. But yeah, twenty dollars no no, no, no,
no no, but yeah it'll be it'll it'll be cash.
(30:03):
But I'm go buy him like some sneakers or something
to put in some stunt boxes under the tree. But right, yeah, yeah,
I just I feel bad because to me, you know,
when I was growing up, it was never a cash
it was it was a gift.
Speaker 5 (30:14):
You make a gift certificate here or there, but never
just cash hash. I just think that's the easy way out.
It worked for me because I got a lot of
stuff going on. I would have never suggested it. I
would have taken a day to gone out and did
what I had to do. Yeah, I procrastinate, so it
probably been you know, but I would have gotten it.
But now it's just like cash. I feel like cash
(30:35):
is like what you back in the day, at least
when you do your extended family, you get a card
and you put twenty bucks in it or whatever it is.
Speaker 6 (30:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (30:41):
Yeah, so I'm thinking about maybe I should get him
the cash in like one dollar bills so when he
gets it, it looks like, yeah, right, would you give
out cash.
Speaker 3 (30:50):
I only do like for you know, like my nephew
and stuff like that. Yeah, but like for my own.
Speaker 6 (30:56):
Kids when you get new six and how much twenty bucks, Now,
I would not. I can't imagine anyone. YEA literally thinks
they're going to get six hundred and twenty dollars. That's
what I'm thinking. It has to be. It has to
be collectively, you know. But even like I said, even still, god,
I think you're getting that. I don't know.
Speaker 5 (31:13):
I mean, like I said, we we didn't come up
from much. But I can't imagine a scenario with six
hundred and twenty dollars. Is what my grandparents, as I
got older, spoiled me. And when I say spoiled, like
one hundred dollars.
Speaker 4 (31:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (31:26):
The only year my son got close was the year
I got him his Xbox. And that's because the Xbox
was four hundred and something bucks. Yeah, but he didn't
get anything else. He got a bunch of like little
like wrestling action figures. That's the only year I ever
got close in his life. To six hundred and twenty dollars.
Speaker 4 (31:40):
We had some It's like my mom had an aunt
that lived in the country country of North Carolina, which
meant that they had a house and that was an
another house near theirs for like a mile and they
were filthy rich, big old mansion that you can tell
that wasn't taken care of and they probably had eighty
percent of rooms that hadn't been no one ever stepped
in in years. And we go visit and my mom
was like, you know, they like you guys a lot.
(32:01):
They'll need some cash, right, So at the end of
it say, well come here, baby. I'm like, all right,
here we go for about to get paid. But I
think because how old they were, they forgot the value
of a dollar. Yeah, like, all here we go. Here's
for you two dollars dollars and go down and get
your episode. I got five dollars and go down and
get yourself as a price. I'm young, but I know
(32:23):
right now with the land that y'all own in this
house is about about a million halfs man, you don't
know how the property taxes. Property taxes are killing I
really do think they forgot the value of money. But
I got two dollars and they were smiling, Yeah, like
they were excited about it. My grandma used to do
that with those Lifesaver books. Give me a Lifesaver book.
Speaker 6 (32:41):
And be like look, and I'm like, yay, the worst
flavor in there butter spot scotch. I don't eat everything
until I had just butterscotch left, and then you eat
that under protests. Right, Every damn year I got a
Lifesaver book. You haven't seen it, right?
Speaker 3 (32:57):
No, yeah, I've only seen it, but not in person.
Speaker 6 (33:00):
Every year. That was my gift. But see that in
the stores. It made it. You would wrap it up.
It is a package.
Speaker 5 (33:06):
It is a you know, it's like you got a
real package that opens up and there's like four or
five different on this side, four or five different on
this last two butterscotch, butterscotch.
Speaker 6 (33:14):
Wow.
Speaker 4 (33:15):
All right, So my question to you is are you
giving out or do you give out cash or do
your kids or your family members want cash? And if so,
we're gonna get real nosy. How much are you giving
up or you want of those who don't give cash?
And I'm not talking gift cards, I'm talking well, I
mean like a MasterCard, cash. You could do it, but yeah,
they don't want like a Chili's gift. No, no, no,
they want cash cash. Are you giving out cash? If so,
(33:38):
how much is it six hundred and twenty three dollars?
We want to talk to you ballers four oh seven
now one nine one o six seven eight seven seven
now one nine one on six seven XL mobile four
one o six seven live stream social media. Want to
hear from you. Are you giving out cash or do
you want cash for Christmas? All you want to I
want cash, That's what I want. Four oh seven now
one nine one o six seven eight seven seven now
(33:59):
one nine six seven Hit us up now in Johnny's
House of Rain, people say they want that cold cash.
They want cash money for Christmas, and they want six
hundred and twenty three dollars. That's how much money they want.
So we want to find out are you giving out cash?
And how do you decide? From Winter Spring? Strong J.
Speaker 6 (34:15):
Helloy, that's really your name?
Speaker 13 (34:18):
Yes, yes, it is strong Boomerang.
Speaker 6 (34:20):
Please please tell me Strong J. How did this occur?
Speaker 13 (34:26):
How did I get my name?
Speaker 6 (34:27):
Yes?
Speaker 13 (34:28):
So, the movie came out on the summer of ninety two,
and I was born in December of ninety two. My
birthday is actually like right after Christmas. Yeah, my mom
just really liked it. And I'm like, okay, doesn't.
Speaker 11 (34:40):
Make sure.
Speaker 6 (34:43):
I love that? All right? Who gives who gives out cash?
Speaker 13 (34:51):
So my mom, so I'm the youngest of four, said
play from the single mother. And so my brothers always
wanted really expensive stop. I'm all trying to get it.
But after a while she was like, I give up,
and she's like, you know what, I'm gonna give you
all cash and shopping.
Speaker 8 (35:08):
And you buy what you want.
Speaker 6 (35:09):
Okay he did.
Speaker 13 (35:11):
We learned the value of a dollar.
Speaker 6 (35:13):
Okay at what age? What age is to start.
Speaker 7 (35:18):
Maybe like eight?
Speaker 13 (35:19):
Eight?
Speaker 6 (35:21):
Wow?
Speaker 13 (35:23):
Spid stuff absolutely, But again that's how I learned to shop.
Speaker 6 (35:27):
There you go, there you go, okay, eight years old?
And how much would she give you?
Speaker 10 (35:35):
Year old?
Speaker 6 (35:35):
Wow? Man, I'd had so much candy in my room.
Speaker 12 (35:41):
Saca is.
Speaker 13 (35:42):
Whatever we bought, we still had to put it under
the tree and open it on Christmas, as if we
didn't know what we bought ourselves.
Speaker 6 (35:49):
Okay, that's funny because you still need the whole Christmas vibe? Gotcha? Gotcha?
All right?
Speaker 4 (35:54):
Well, thank you strong jay I appreciate you of course.
All right, bye bye wow, all right from all to
my string. Johanna, good morning.
Speaker 13 (36:02):
Hey, good morning.
Speaker 6 (36:03):
How are you good?
Speaker 12 (36:04):
Good?
Speaker 6 (36:04):
Who gave out some cads?
Speaker 7 (36:06):
Well?
Speaker 14 (36:06):
I do, but I do it in a very cute way.
Can I tell you about it?
Speaker 6 (36:10):
Absolutely?
Speaker 12 (36:11):
Okay.
Speaker 14 (36:12):
It's beneficial that I work in a bank, so I
have access to like the newest bills. So for like
four months before Christmas, I like save them, and then
we make these beautiful boxes with beautiful ribbon. And then
you and I take like single dollar bills, like one
hundred of them together. We have a different We have
(36:33):
engineered this perfectly. I think this will be our fourth
year doing.
Speaker 11 (36:35):
It at the branch.
Speaker 14 (36:36):
So we so you pull the ribbon and out comes,
you know, the one dollar bill, one at a time, okay,
and you get to keep it.
Speaker 6 (36:44):
So I can walk away with two dollars I make.
Speaker 14 (36:46):
I make these for my kids. I have adult children
and they just want money. How much mo three?
Speaker 6 (36:53):
How much you give them?
Speaker 14 (36:55):
Well I give one hundred, and then their grandmother, my mama,
also gives me.
Speaker 4 (36:59):
And that's a lot of there's a lot of time
taping them bills together.
Speaker 3 (37:02):
That's fun though, I have no finger friends body in.
I mean for the kids, they probably get a blast
like okay out.
Speaker 7 (37:10):
Of that, you know.
Speaker 14 (37:11):
And then we actually did one last year for my
grandson who was four last year and he made his
little Christmas money box of twenty five dollars. But it
was in the shape of a truck and I wheeled
on it and everything.
Speaker 6 (37:22):
So we go all out, how many how many kids
do you have?
Speaker 4 (37:26):
Just too, I've been like, hey, look, we had a
little meat and we decided to just stop taping it
because we got to untaping it.
Speaker 6 (37:31):
Right, once you get us to a certain age, could
you just hand it to us money.
Speaker 4 (37:35):
We'll even take a check if you need to. You
cashpic whatever you got, tape an other dollars?
Speaker 6 (37:42):
All right, what is it?
Speaker 3 (37:43):
Let's see here.
Speaker 2 (37:43):
I plan on giving both my daughters five hundred dollars
each and my stepdaughter about one hundred and fifty. Okay,
but I feel like, I don't know, that makes me uncomfortable,
but I mean it's a lot of money. But I
just I feel about for the stepdaughter, oh, because she
gets less, you know, right, hopefully they don't communicate.
Speaker 6 (38:10):
All right, family dynamic, Well, my dad would give me
money and not my brothers. Go tell them now, but
like is your birthday? Dont tell you in the house.
I'm not their happy heart.
Speaker 5 (38:26):
Power by Attorney Dan Newlan interrect needed jackets and no
brainner just called Attorney Dan Newland. Let's see, someone said
their daughter wants a hair dryer and cash. So they're
getting a hair dryer with a bunch of money inside.
I guess wrapped up into it.
Speaker 6 (38:39):
Okay.
Speaker 5 (38:39):
And then someone said their dad gives them a thousand
dollars every year and they got five siblings.
Speaker 6 (38:45):
Go ahead, dad, who people will step sibling gets know?
They get two hundred dollars. Ain't digging that?
Speaker 8 (38:53):
God.
Speaker 2 (38:54):
Let's hear the wedding venue now the Johnny's House Entertainment News.
Speaker 1 (39:00):
That's three.
Speaker 3 (39:01):
Celebrity news is brought to you by Pharawe's Credit Union.
So rumors.
Speaker 2 (39:05):
Obviously, last week we were talking about Taylor Swift and
Travis Kelsey setting a date of June thirteenth, twenty twenty
six for their wedding, and then there was rumors about
the artists and how Taylor Swift and her fiance locked
down the Rhode Island Ocean House and that they bought
out a couple. Remember us telling ye they were bought
(39:26):
out a couple. Well, Ocean House is coming out and
said that Taylor Swift did not do that.
Speaker 6 (39:32):
So of course they are.
Speaker 3 (39:36):
Because I don't know.
Speaker 2 (39:38):
But they said, when clients and their families choose Ocean
House as their wedding venue, it is an agreement and
commitment between our team and that family. Ocean House would
not and is not allowing another party or entity to
buy a wedding group out of their contract.
Speaker 3 (39:53):
So that is what Ocean House is saying.
Speaker 2 (39:55):
So the speculations that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey purchased
or bought out that couple is false according to Ocean House.
Speaker 4 (40:03):
Okay, now if it's behind the scenes and they don't
know about it, and that couple decided to stop on
that particular day, and.
Speaker 5 (40:09):
Yeah, I mean you probably wouldn't be able to find
out who had that date. They told you they probably
wanted that date and they said, I'm sorry, it's booked,
and they said, well, why don't you float this idea
to that person? And that person probably said yeah, but
of course going to keep it quiet.
Speaker 2 (40:20):
I respect that, of course for sure, But I love
that Ocean House was like, no, no, no, don't put
that as our reputation because obviously it's a very expensive.
Speaker 3 (40:28):
Venue and nobody would want to book there.
Speaker 4 (40:30):
If they're selling out date, if your tailor swift and
you got your heart set on that place on that date,
you're getting that.
Speaker 6 (40:36):
Well, it's a math equation. We already heard that. It's
very I mean that number is important. Yep, you don't
get it.
Speaker 2 (40:42):
The nominees for the Critics' Choice Awards are out, so
award season is basically right around the corner. Usually in
the beginning of the year it kicks off, but Warner Bros.
Dominated the nominations. Sinners is leading all films of like
seventy nominations, so it's it's doing great. Adolescents from Netflix
is doing good.
Speaker 3 (41:02):
I tried to watch it.
Speaker 2 (41:03):
It's just it's like one of those disturbing kind of Yeah,
Frankenstein and Hamnett are the other ones.
Speaker 6 (41:10):
I've seen Frankstein before.
Speaker 3 (41:13):
I think, yeah, the one on Netflix, that's what we're
talking about.
Speaker 6 (41:18):
I'll go away back to Vincent Price and Black and Wise.
I like the weird science version where they make a girl.
Speaker 2 (41:24):
So, but if you want to just talk about like
Best Picture, Bogonia, Frankenstein, Hamnett, J Kelly, Marty, Supreme, One
Battle after Another, Sentimental Value, Sinners, Train Dreams, and Wicked Face.
Speaker 6 (41:37):
That rock movie didn't get nominated.
Speaker 4 (41:38):
I know it didn't do anything in the box office,
but I heard it was supposed to be so good
that it was gonna be nominated for something.
Speaker 1 (41:43):
I don't know.
Speaker 6 (41:44):
I don't think so, I don't know. I didn't see it.
I saw it either, but people had seen I know
that didn't do well, but I know I heard it
was really good. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (41:51):
Yeah, Wicked for Good has seven nominations, but there was
a win everything, right, I feel like they would. But
of course Cynthia Rivo people are a little upset because
she was kind of like, there's there's no nominations for her,
but Best Actress or Supporting Actress goes to Ariana Grande,
(42:11):
So kind of people are just like, huh, but January fourth,
twenty twenty six, which is actually right around the corner
as four January fourth, right off the yield. What I'm saying,
I think critics' choice is like the one that kicks
off the O this Award show. Yeah, but Timothy Shalameh
and Leonardo DiCaprio, Ethan Hawk, Michael B. Jordan, and Wagner
Mora are best actors. So okay, there's some big names
(42:34):
on it.
Speaker 6 (42:35):
All right. You got some stories that are weird. What
to else? Sixty five high of seventy and a thirty
percent chance of raing. Weird but true.
Speaker 5 (42:42):
Wednesday of last week, there was an earth trimmer that
was felt over in England and it made big news
over there, and then this photo went viral showing a
partially collapsed and damaged bridge because of the earth trimmer,
and so everyone was like, we got to figure this out.
The Network Rail opted for safety. They closed down the
Lyle Bridge, They canceled train service on that line, and
(43:03):
they sent safety inspectors out. When they got there, they
realized the bridge was just fine. Someone made an AI
image of the bridge being collapsed. It went viral.
Speaker 6 (43:15):
In an effort to not have anyone getting like any
sort of injuries or a train run off the bridge,
they shut it down instantly before they could go check
it out.
Speaker 5 (43:23):
But it was so realistic because of the AI that
they got taken basically, and it was a hoax. They
obviously reopened everything and they said y'all, please don't do that.
Speaker 6 (43:32):
Wow, I saw I saw one.
Speaker 4 (43:35):
It was a high end car car dealership and they
emailed their boss it was off of a homeless guy
that walked in and was looking for a job to say,
this man looked for a job. Well, he say, tell
when I hire him. And then they showed him walking around.
It was all AI generated. Yeah, and they said he's
in the break room and he's eating the food and
the guy's like.
Speaker 6 (43:52):
AI. They literally shut down a bridge. It'd be like
if they shut down I four because someone sent a
AI image of I four being collapsed. It just destroys
everything for the day. And you know, and they're at
home going because they got you. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (44:08):
There was a power power outage in Missouria to prison
last week and it caused the cell doors to open.
I ain't So the power went out at the South
Central Correctional Center. The lost power. So the door is
unlocked now in one unit, no big deal. But the
other unit that opened. The inmates were there because they
couldn't get along with anybody and no obviously when the
(44:29):
doors came open, they went out. A lot of them
refused to go back in their cells. They started damaging property. Uh,
the emergency response team had to step in and get
everybody back in their cell. Now no staff members were hurt,
that was good. No inmates had serious injuries. And then
electricians came and then they installed a little battery backup.
They should cause the people that some wave energy. Yes see,
if they had some someway energy, the power would go out,
but yours would stay on the jail would be safe. Right, absolutely,
(44:52):
So y'all need to get that battery backup from some
wave energy.
Speaker 6 (44:56):
Missouri Prison. I was like when I saw them, like,
you guys, seriously, you don't have a way to keep
the doors locked and that crazy can walking around? Didn't
they put them in a special sale?
Speaker 1 (45:05):
I was, oh no.
Speaker 5 (45:09):
And obviously robots or what everyone's talking about going to
take over, because now you know, in the next couple
of years we should have everyone should have one. Tesla's
developing one that's in the cheap like twenty grand. Well,
there was a pair of advanced humanoid robots to the
tech expo and Iran. What turned out they weren't actually
advanced humanoid robots. They were just humans dressed as robots.
Speaker 6 (45:30):
They tried, yes, they tried to pass them.
Speaker 5 (45:33):
They were wearing these outfits that were covered in by
binary code, and I had these visors on. One of
them was called miss Data and she told visitors that
she lived in blockchain space and everyone's like, wait a second,
this doesn't look real. Then they started showing photos of it,
and they were high def photos that went viral and
they have people blinking and they're like, robots don't blink.
This is really weird. So it turns out, yeah, these
(45:53):
aren't real. So officials obviously robusted. They were asked about
it and they said, look, we ain't got to do it.
It was a private company that did that. Wasn't US
because the Iran government was running the tech expo. Yeah,
they said, nah, us. It's not the first time fake
robots have been used. There was one over in China
that also had fake robots. They were humans. So they're
trying to This is them Johnny trying to I'll post a.
Speaker 6 (46:16):
Link to it our Instagram.
Speaker 8 (46:17):
Is that bad?
Speaker 6 (46:18):
Yeah? Oh it's really bad. See if they a video
of them walking around and talking, I was really bad human.
Speaker 4 (46:24):
If I was that guy, I would go to any
breakdance convention they see somebody like, hey, that's the guy
come in.
Speaker 6 (46:29):
You want to make box? Yeah, I need you to do.
He's pop and lock a little bit.
Speaker 3 (46:34):
That's embarrassing.
Speaker 4 (46:37):
I mean, nothing's more embarrassing than Russia that had the
real one and he couldn't make it over the carpet.
Speaker 6 (46:41):
It fell over.
Speaker 5 (46:42):
Maybe that that's why they went this route, and like
you know what, well, no, no, no, we're not ready.
We ain't gonna be Russia. We're not gonna do it.
Just send some humans out there.
Speaker 6 (46:49):
That's funny.
Speaker 4 (46:50):
I missed data and it was blanking. Why didn't you
just put some wrap around glasses on my something? Just
put like some sort of mask on them. All right, listen,
we want to find out are there still companies that
give out Christmas bonuses? You know that in the next
week or so you're gonna get a fat check or
something from your company, or what kind of bonuses that
you get from your company? Four oh seven nine one
(47:12):
nine one o six seven eight seven seven nine one
nine one six. We're gonna talk about that next if
you want to get ahead and call us now, we
want to hear it. Bonuses, do you get them? Let's
talk about it. Johnny's house, funt like this all day.
Hope the sun comes out sometime today. Thirty percent chance
of range. Seventy is the high. It is sixty five
right now. Christmas bonuses, right, you know, some people get
some bonuses. I do not.
Speaker 6 (47:32):
We got we got a little bonus, then we got
we got a grocery gift for Yeah, we did.
Speaker 3 (47:37):
That was nice. But I think my favorite story that
you tell is the jelly bean jar.
Speaker 4 (47:45):
The jar of jelly bean when when we when I
first started working here many min years ago, it was
a mom and pop operation. He had like three stations total,
and if you if you if your station reached budget
anything over that, he would you know, give out to
the employees. Yeah. So I think the first time is
here I got, I got a twelve hundred dollars bonus,
(48:05):
and then the second you got a twenty five hundred
dollars bonus. And then the third year, you know, we
go to the party because that's when he hands it
all out. Yeah, so we go to the party and
of course you know there's jelly bellies. I mean it
was about fifty people in the company. So they had
him on the table, table full of jars and so
we're like, here come that money, and he said, everybody
on the way out, grab you a jar of jelly beans.
(48:27):
He had your name on it. I said, okay, so
you grab it. And you're thinking that he's going to
be funny because he stuck him in there jelly because
your your bonuses go so sweet.
Speaker 3 (48:36):
Yeah, you go, that's great.
Speaker 4 (48:39):
That's radio stuff right there. And that's a very I
won't say his name. It was a very popular world
renowned radio host. He was starting his career that he
was there and he goes, man, that's not do here.
So he took it and he burst it on the sidewalk.
So everybody's like, so what happened? Man, no bonus in it,
So everybody it was just a running things.
Speaker 3 (49:01):
So you would walk around the parking lot there's just
broken glass jelly beans.
Speaker 4 (49:04):
When you went from twenty five hundred dollars to a
jaw jelly beans. Yeah, because some people you plan that,
you know, you know what I think. For me, it
was like, Okay, that's the money I can get to
get an airline ticket to go home because I didn't
have any money.
Speaker 5 (49:16):
Right, whatever you're gonna do with that's gonna I'm waiting
until the end of the year with my bonus.
Speaker 6 (49:20):
I'm gonna do that. That's funny.
Speaker 4 (49:21):
When I mentioned that, it brought back a memory where
I remember calling my mom collect and saying, Hey, I'm
not gonna make it home. What happened. I ain't getting
no bonus. That is with jelly bellies. And I like
jelly bellies. I don't like assorted jelly bellies. I like
cinnamon and cherry. I like those two.
Speaker 6 (49:41):
I like the peach ones.
Speaker 3 (49:42):
When you're thinking that you're going to get a.
Speaker 6 (49:44):
Phonus, no we got nothing. It was it was a
hot mess.
Speaker 5 (49:47):
Never received a real bonus, so I've never respected one.
And I know here they give always gives us a
gift of some sort, like sometimes it's like a nice blanket,
sometimes you know, some whatever.
Speaker 6 (49:58):
Like this time around, we gotta get you know, grocery,
which is fine.
Speaker 13 (50:00):
Whatever.
Speaker 5 (50:01):
Yeah, I didn't expect that. Okay, I just don't expect anything,
and I never have. And this is the only place
I've really worked for a long stretch. I did work
in an apartment place. They we I feel like we
did get a little bit of a bonus, but it
was like, you know, one hundred bucks. It wasn't like
anything you were gonna like that was gonna change your life.
Speaker 4 (50:15):
Oh no, some companies to give out dividends, yeah, knowing
that time, yeah yeah, no for sure.
Speaker 6 (50:19):
Were you working a place to give out.
Speaker 3 (50:22):
No, nope, I mean some people.
Speaker 2 (50:25):
Yeah, when I worked in the restaurant industry, some people
got like a bonus that they were like, uh, like
the quality of work or like they brought in the
highest numbers or something like that.
Speaker 4 (50:34):
But I'm sure we go get something tonight. It'll be
some gift of some sort. Yeah, that's with the company logo.
Speaker 3 (50:39):
I thought they already gave us our gift, which is
the grocery.
Speaker 5 (50:44):
Like usually there's like a like something that's made ihearts.
Oh yeah, but everybody gets like I like one year,
I think we got a speaker.
Speaker 3 (50:51):
Oh we did get a sweet backpack that one year.
Speaker 5 (50:52):
Yeaha Bluetooth speaker. Like you know, there's usually something I
heeart that we get. Yeah, excel, good morning, who's this?
Speaker 10 (50:59):
Hell?
Speaker 6 (51:02):
Yeah? Hey, what's your name?
Speaker 1 (51:04):
Taylor?
Speaker 6 (51:05):
You get a bonus?
Speaker 12 (51:07):
I do, But they always tell us that it's not guaranteed,
don't expect it. And we'll ask all the way leading
up until Christmas, and they always tell us that they
don't know, and it'll usually just.
Speaker 11 (51:22):
Be a surprise deposit.
Speaker 6 (51:26):
Oh that's pretty cool.
Speaker 12 (51:27):
We can't even I mean it is cool. We would
just like to know that it's coming so we can
spend our bill money because we know it's gonna be replaced.
Speaker 4 (51:34):
Yeah, but you know what, it's one of those things
where if they don't do it, they don't feel guilty
because you spent money that you thought you were going
to get but you didn't get.
Speaker 6 (51:42):
Yeah, you see, you know yeah.
Speaker 12 (51:45):
Yeah, but then we get all hung up because what
Christmas shopping are we going to do on the twenty third.
Speaker 6 (51:49):
I mean, you can roll the dice and put it
on a credit card. That's up to you, though I
make a point to spend money. I ain't got a
mock out.
Speaker 7 (51:56):
I know.
Speaker 4 (51:57):
I got burnt with that once. Yeah yeah, like, hey, hey,
so man, I can't get you do but you said
you would Friday. Yeah, I'm sorry about that. Now you're
suffering from it.
Speaker 6 (52:06):
How much? How much is it?
Speaker 12 (52:09):
It's usually a thousand?
Speaker 4 (52:10):
Nice?
Speaker 6 (52:12):
Nice, Well, hopefully on the twenty third you get it
this year, I hope.
Speaker 12 (52:16):
So I'm praying because the way money.
Speaker 11 (52:18):
Is these days, I got you I got.
Speaker 6 (52:22):
All right, Well, thank you for sharing that with us. Okay,
you have a beautiful day.
Speaker 12 (52:24):
Monday Days, have a great day too.
Speaker 6 (52:27):
What you're saying about money, money days is just tight,
like you can't it is.
Speaker 5 (52:29):
That's why you don't want to put it on a
credit card because then you're gonna put interest on it.
Speaker 4 (52:32):
And they're like, what the heck, But they're saying credit
card spending this year is through the roof insaying all right,
we come back. We're gonna kick it off with our
Baby DJ program. We got families to help and tell
you why we're helping them. We'll do it next on
Johnny's house today. All right. The Baby DJ program is
when we started years ago to help people right here
in our community. One hundred percent of the stuff that
we collect stays right here and help families their need
(52:54):
in Central Florida.
Speaker 8 (52:56):
Uh.
Speaker 4 (52:56):
You know a lot of organization, I say it over
and over again. They collect toys this time that year
and they hand them off to an organization. Well, we
are that organization. Last week, myself, Brian and Ray we
sat down for three nights a week and just read letters,
letters on letters of people that have written us and
told us that they're in need this holiday season, and
what we do is we write those letters and if
we got your letter, they're calling now. The volunteers are
(53:17):
coming in today at our Baby DJ Warehouse that is
located at the Olvito Mall. They're coming in today to
start letting those families know when is your day to
come in and shop, you know, And people ask me,
how do you feel. I'm like, I don't know, because
we're calling families to come in and we don't know
how many toys we're going to collect.
Speaker 6 (53:32):
But we were all out over the weekend. Let's see.
Speaker 4 (53:35):
On a Saturday, I was out at I came out,
I came back to the Baby DJ Warehouse and I
met with Cone Elevator, I U e C. Local thirty nine,
Southwest Elevators, TK Elevators, and Country House Restaurant and they
came in with trucks and truckloads of toys to drop
off for our Baby DJ program. And we got to
(53:57):
thank them for that. And then later on in the
evening went over to a I'm A Bowl where they
had a sold out event. And every time I met
Santa every year, Oh nice Santa. Listen to the show
hello house. Well, thank you Santa. Let's get this photo.
Speaker 6 (54:10):
I met Santa on Saturday as well, did you really?
Speaker 4 (54:13):
And they collected a lot of toys that's gonna help
out the community and brown Over the weekend, where did
you go?
Speaker 6 (54:17):
I went over to Clairemont for the big lighting of
the Citrus Tower. Yeah, our friends over at the Weekly
really Realty Group, Matt and his crew they always come
through for us, tons of toys, big old U hawful
Jay's lights lights up the Centrus Tower. They have a
lecture now it continues.
Speaker 5 (54:32):
Yes, that was the kickoff of it, but you can
go still check out the Citrus Tower and the light
show in the evening's over in Claremont.
Speaker 6 (54:37):
It's really cool.
Speaker 5 (54:38):
It's set to music, Archy and sparky in a whole deal.
But Matt and the crew man they're really great, you
know all of it. He gets sponsors from the area
to also, like the Title Companies not something he works with,
to come in and also bring toys, which.
Speaker 6 (54:49):
Is pretty cool. So yeah, we got a big warehouse
U haul truck full. He's going to deliver them today and.
Speaker 4 (54:55):
We and that's Lake County and we make make sure
that anyone that reaches us with our Baby DJ program
from Lake County. We make sure we take care of
you because they've collected those toys and we want to
make sure that they stay in your area also, and
mister Ray, you're out also.
Speaker 9 (55:09):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (55:09):
So on Saturday, Citrus City they had a huge block
party with Santa and snow was falling and it was
a good time. They had food trucks and yeah, the
Semino County Fire Department, they're the ones that.
Speaker 3 (55:21):
Actually put that on. The fire trucks are rut there.
Speaker 2 (55:24):
The kids love it, so it was a good, good
turnout and they loaded up the truck with Yiannis.
Speaker 6 (55:31):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (55:31):
Yeah, so they're very excited about all of that.
Speaker 4 (55:33):
Now, there's always that you can help that. We have
one hundred and seventy three drop off locations all over
central Florida. Go to babydj dot org and find one
close to you. You can be a drop off location,
you can have a holiday party, collect toys, and all
the toys will be staying right here in Central Florida. Also,
if you go to babydj dot com, we have an
Amazon wish list where you can just click on see
a toy that fits your range, and they'll deliver it
(55:54):
to us. There's other ways you can make a donation.
You can volunteer your time to help us in the warehouse,
to call families. We have a lot of restaurants that
stepped up to feed the volunteers. There's a lot of
ways as a community we can band together and help
each other out. And please just go to babydj dot org,
email one of us, or text one of us on
the show and find out ways that you can help
(56:15):
and hopefully, collectively we can make sure that we help
our community. This what we do this time of the
year for the next two weeks. We all look at
each other's it's gonna be crazy, and we know that
it is. But it's something that we decided to do
for our community. But we cannot do it without your help.
So please go to babydj dot org. Can we come back,
We'll tell you what it's all for. We'll see if
we can call a family and let them know that
we're going to take care of them with the program
(56:35):
that you help us with with a community. If you're
doing well in life, consider yourself blessed. There's a lot
of people and we sit down and read all the
letters and we can tell you. There's a lot of
pain that is happening in our community, and we do
this program to see if we collectively with a radio
show and you listening, can all get together and help
out some of these people. And we do this by
reading certain letters on the air to let you know
(56:55):
that this is where your donations are going. If you
set up a drop off location, if you want to
do a toy drive, if you want to drop off money,
or whatever it is you want to do, volunteer your time.
BABYDJ dot org will tell you how. So we're going
to call this young lady up right now. She says,
my name is Gina, and I'd like to be considered
for your Christmas Toy program myself and my children and
(57:17):
any assistance you may be available during this difficult time.
I'm a single mother of four and this past year
has been one of the most challenging time of our lives.
In addition to caring for my own children, I've taken
in my sixteen year old niece after my sister left
her in my care. I've not heard from my sister
in almost a year, and I've become my niece's full
time caregiver as well. Over the last year, we face
(57:37):
homelessness after being evicted, and we spent many months moving
between couches and hotel rooms while I continue to work
to keep us stable. I'm grateful to say that we
finally moved into a home. This is the first time
in a long time that my children have a sense
of safety and stability. Although we now have a roof
over our head, finances remain extremely tight. After covering the rent, utilities,
(57:59):
basically necessities for the four kids, I'm left with very little.
I don't want more than anything to give a joyful
Christmas after everything we've been through, but simply cannot afford
a gift this year. Your program would make an incredible
difference for my family. It would allow my children to
experience the joy of the holiday season and help bring
a sense of normalcy after a difficult time. I would
(58:21):
be grateful for any assistance that you can provide. Thank
you for your time, your consideration. Well, We're gonna call
her up and let her know we're gonna help her
with our Baby DJ program.
Speaker 12 (58:41):
Hello.
Speaker 6 (58:41):
Hello, is this Gina.
Speaker 4 (58:44):

and yours touched us to the point and we want
to call you up and let you know that what
all the stuff that you dealt with facing homelessness and eviction,
(59:14):
that this Christmas, you don't have to worry about it
because we're going to take care of you with our

Oh my god, so amazing.
Speaker 6 (01:00:08):

Speaker 4 (01:00:09):
Let me tell you it takes a community to put
this all together. We got to thank our sponsors because
without them, we couldn't make this thing happen. Got to
say thank you to our title sponsor.
Speaker 5 (01:00:16):
Christmas at gay Lord Palms featuring Ice, we have Life
three sixty five, Fitness, Sutherland nissan O, Vito mal and
the creolea Experience Orlando.
Speaker 4 (01:00:25):
Hopefully by us selecting your family that it can relieve

Speaker 11 (01:00:39):
Yeah, thank you so much.
Speaker 6 (01:00:41):
Thank you guys, so much, No, thank you. I'm glad
you wrote this and we're able to take care of
your family, Merry Christmas to you.
Speaker 13 (01:00:47):
Marry Christmas you guys to thank you.
Speaker 6 (01:00:49):
You're welcome.
Speaker 1 (01:00:50):
Now the Johnny's House Entertainment News. That's Ray all right.
Speaker 2 (01:00:54):
So now I feel like I can talk a little
bit more about the diddy thing since.
Speaker 4 (01:00:58):
You well, there's a lot of people have it. I know,
I know I was because I got any rude text
to say listen.
Speaker 3 (01:01:05):
I don't think it was rude. I think it was like,
you know, get on the same page. Anyways.
Speaker 2 (01:01:12):
So uh yeah, So one of the accusations that were
was in this documentary is that Sean Dinny Coombs was
abusive towards his mother, yes, or had been well, his mother,
Janis Comes Combs.
Speaker 3 (01:01:25):
She really wanted to shut that down.
Speaker 2 (01:01:28):
She responded to the lies about the four part Netflix
document series. Janis in a statement condemned Netflix and pushed
back against some of the narratives about her relationship with
her son. So obviously, she said, I'm writing this statement
to correct some of the lies presented in the Netflix
of Sean Comb's The Reckoning. So it was released December second,
(01:01:51):
but she said that these inaccuracies regarding her son and
his upbringing and family life is intentionally done to mislead
viewers and further harm his reputation.
Speaker 6 (01:02:04):
They didn't take that reptation done.
Speaker 3 (01:02:08):
It was not the doctor saries.
Speaker 6 (01:02:10):
I wasn't really when I saw that part.
Speaker 5 (01:02:11):
I'm like, I don't know if I mean, I think
they speculated that he was abused because he might have
raised his voice or whatever. I didn't believe that part
based on what I saw anyway.
Speaker 2 (01:02:20):
Yeah, So, I mean it does talk a lot about
her too, as like a mother and losing her husband
and all that stuff. So I think that like when
she was talking about, you know, she loved and nurtured
her son and the memories of like Sean growing up
are respectful and all these things, because it did make
it look like she was like a hustler too, with
growing parties with like a young child.
Speaker 5 (01:02:40):
Well she also, I mean they basically said she used
to do drops. Yes, it's like for him, like whether
it be money or drugs whatever, she was doing the drops. Yeah,
she was in the business.
Speaker 2 (01:02:49):
So she's urging Netflix to basically retract any distortions, falsehoods,
and misleading statements about her.
Speaker 3 (01:02:54):
And her son. And I'm like, I think it's at
a little too late.
Speaker 9 (01:02:57):
For that now.
Speaker 2 (01:02:58):
But a spokesperson for team is accusing the producers of
like misleading information and you know, personal grievances that you're
airing without the rappers consent.
Speaker 4 (01:03:10):
And from what I gathered from that, he knew he
was going to get arrested, yes, and he was trying
to do like one last lap of pr befah that happened,
but he didn't know what was going to happen that
particular day. And by the fact that he didn't know
what was going to happen that day, the videographer that
he had been following him around, he ain't give them
the sign that paper, Well, he ain't.
Speaker 3 (01:03:31):
Paying and that's where they're getting this point.
Speaker 6 (01:03:33):
It is behind the scene buddage.
Speaker 5 (01:03:34):
They didn't know for sure as that day because they
were waiting for him at the hotel when they got
back from my mic ride. Yeah, and I also think
he thought he'd be out in a few hours. Oh yeah,
we'll tell you, we'll post bond, we'll get out and
then we'll deal.
Speaker 6 (01:03:45):
With all of them.
Speaker 2 (01:03:45):
But also just days before that, did you hear that
conversation where he was talking about how they're holding the
bank open for him?
Speaker 3 (01:03:51):
He was trying to move half of his network.
Speaker 2 (01:03:54):
Two hundred million dollars he was trying to move, and
so that kind of intrigued like a lot of people
with that conversation.
Speaker 3 (01:04:00):
So obviously that empire that.
Speaker 2 (01:04:02):
He has, he said, I'm about to deposit two hundred
million right now, and I feel good they're holding the
bank open for me. And later like obviously, yeah, we
don't know if he officially pulled that money.
Speaker 4 (01:04:14):
Well, you'll see that the police were they were taking
him out. They were camped out across from his hotel
room watching them.
Speaker 3 (01:04:20):
Yeah, So I mean, it's it's pretty crazy to see that.
Speaker 4 (01:04:23):
I think he thought that he was gonna be out.
He thought his lawyer probably said, hey, this was going
to happen. They're gonna arrest you. We'll find out what
the bail is. Yeah, we got to get your bail out.
And yeah, he never got out. Never got out.
Speaker 2 (01:04:33):
And there's some news articles that are saying that fifty
Cent did take that ABC News interview because he knows
that prisons that's one of the few stations that allow
prisoners to watch his ABC News, So he was basically
trolling Diddy while he was in jail.
Speaker 4 (01:04:50):
It was very well done. It is well you can
tell how his production company. Even though it's fifty cent,
they're very professional about it. Yeah, and I don't feel
like it was necessarily a hit piece. They just talked
to a lot of people that know a lot of things.
And when you have that many skeletons, it's coming out
a you going to do second time today? What is trending.
We're gonna update you.
Speaker 5 (01:05:09):
The season with this new unwrapped extra promotion. So it's
Bogo Entrees and they're gonna do it every Saturday for
the first three weeks of December. So we missed this
past Saturday if you didn't know about it. That was
by three Tacos get a free entre, but you got
two more left, So December thirteenth by Barrito get one
free free entre, and December twentieth, because it's right before Christmas,
they want you to wear your wildest, loudest I found
(01:05:31):
this at a yard sale in two thousand and three
holiday sweater. You wear that in the store and you
get a Bogo entree in the store that day as well.
This is at all of them, not participating stores. It Yeah,
it doesn't say participating. I mean I'm thinking they're all
probably running the same promotion. In addition to that, if
you're Awards member, they have freebies all kind of all
(01:05:52):
season long, like freekwalk. I know Ray likes that double
protein drinks stuff like that, and they're gonna randomly drop
those like as gifts and their reward members' accounts.
Speaker 6 (01:06:01):
Get me to the swing of things. So you should
sign up if you want to do that.
Speaker 5 (01:06:04):
If you're traveling for the holiday season, this is good news.
Gas prices are coming down. Yeah, they are coming just
in time for the holiday season. So they say Triple
A reporting that today's national average is just two dollars
and ninety five cents. That ain't when I paid for
a gallon of regular. That's down about a nickel from
last week, about twelve cents from a month ago. It's
the first time in four years that gases dipped below
three dollars a gallon on average. Okay, California is still
(01:06:27):
up there with four forty seven. Cheapest Oklahoma two dollars
and thirty six cents. Now wow, yeah, anybody by no
games I won.
Speaker 3 (01:06:34):
Right by my house is too eighty three?
Speaker 6 (01:06:36):
Yeah, I paid three twelve at my last fill up,
but I'm almost time last week. Yeah game, I'm almost
trying to fill up again. So hopefully i'll I'll get
some cheap guests.
Speaker 4 (01:06:44):
If you're traveling, don't you hear when you you hear
those prices and then when you go fill up, it
ain't that price.
Speaker 2 (01:06:47):
No, I know.
Speaker 6 (01:06:48):
It drives me crazy because it ain't everywhere. And I
paid three twelve and then I drove like literally four
miles down the road, same brand station had it for
two ninety eight.
Speaker 5 (01:06:56):
I said, wait a second, I need some price match
policy here. But that ain't how it works, I understand.
And it is a college football bowls season. They announced
yesterday the College Football Playoff. You're reminding Hurricane, it's going
to be in the playoffs. But they also announced all
the bowls and we have a bunch of them coming
to Central Florida. So in Orlando, we got the Staff
DNA Cure Bowl that's happened at Camping World Stadium. That's
(01:07:18):
USF and Old Dominion. That's gonna be on December seventeenthf
fans will come down for that.
Speaker 6 (01:07:23):
Yep.
Speaker 5 (01:07:23):
It's gonna be televised on the ESPN. We got the
Pop Tards Bowl. Over Camping World Stadium. That's gonna be
a big one. Georgia Tech and BYU. Those are two
teams that were inside the top fifteen, so they're good teams.
That's gonna be December twenty seventh. That'll be on ABC.
And then the Cheese Ats Sitters Bowl, also at Camping
World Stadium. Michigan and Texas.
Speaker 6 (01:07:41):
That is huge.
Speaker 5 (01:07:42):
That is a real big one. Those are both playoff
caliber teams with big name players. Arch Manning place for
Texas that's the Peyton Manning line. So yeah, he'll be there.
Speaker 4 (01:07:52):
And when you big schools come to Orlando and you
want to go to Church Street, ain't none, no no, no, no,
oh yeah, uh no.
Speaker 6 (01:07:59):
You might want to go to Wall Street going is good.
Speaker 7 (01:08:02):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (01:08:02):
Maybe want to go over to Ivanhoe that area, Mills
fifty is a good spot you can go over there.
Might just go down the tourist area. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:08:09):
And then not too far away over in Tampa the
Union Home Mortgage Gasparilla Bowl. The Union Union Home Mortgage
Gasparilla Bowl. Wow, that's at Raymond James Stadium. That's going
to be a n C state So oh okay, Carolina
team they're fighting Memphis. That day, December nineteenth on ESPN,
and then the la Quest Bowl in Raymond James Stadium
(01:08:29):
as well Iowa and Vanderbilt.
Speaker 4 (01:08:31):
I love the way of doing it, like the playoffs,
is that they're just games that's going to happen a
certain day of the week leading up to the bowl games. Yes,
you know, because I thought before all those games were
Bowl games back when it was just four teams. Yes,
but now that it's twelve teams. They do the first
round at home stadiums, and then they move the winners
to the next round, which is the big walls like
the Orange Bowl, Cotton Bowl, stuff like that. Good games,
(01:08:54):
some really good games.
Speaker 6 (01:08:55):
That's all you want. Yeah, tickets ticketmaster dot Com. All right,
we'll come back.
Speaker 4 (01:08:57):
I'm gonna tell you how you get a pair of
tickets Universal orlandover what well, We're gonna be brought as
we speak.
Speaker 6 (01:09:01):
Enjoy it.
Speaker 4 (01:09:01):
It is seventy looking on hot today, a seventy mostly cloudy,
thirty percent chance of rain. We'd read a letter of
last out for our Baby DJ program again. Go to
babydj dot org find out how you could be a
drop off location. If you can be a volunteer to
call some of the families help sort some toys, because
I think we got three loads that are coming in
from from events over the weekend that are coming in today.
If you want to, we have an Amazon wish list,
(01:09:23):
we have drop off locations, we have it all in
ways that we can help our community. Again, babydj dot
org will be helping another family on the air on
tomorrow morning. So if you're one of those families and
you get a call early in the morning, and I'm
sure a lot of people don't want to answer their
phones because if you're dealing with the situations, you think
it's a bill collector or one of those called I mean,
I don't answer my phone. Yeah, neither, you know, but
(01:09:45):
got to understand that that's the only way that we
can get in touch with you. So if you know,
answer the phone, and if it's not who you want
it to be, hang up. That's what I do, you know,
just hang up now. I was messing with one the
other day and Rai's like, see, oh my gosh, yeah, I.
Speaker 2 (01:09:56):
Was seriously sitting over there for like thirty minutes almost
look's that messing with them.
Speaker 4 (01:10:02):
Then he finally hung up and he said, I hope
that he put my name on don't call this person
because he's a jerk list, but now.
Speaker 6 (01:10:07):
He probably found the call more.
Speaker 3 (01:10:09):
Yes, yes, I'm guessing I'm going to harass you.
Speaker 6 (01:10:12):
BABYDJ dot Org. All right, anybody been out in the malls?
I know I haven't. I know, I gotta go.
Speaker 4 (01:10:17):
I got to pick a day probably next week, that
I'll get everything I need to done, get get done.
Speaker 6 (01:10:23):
I got three gifts that I need to do.
Speaker 4 (01:10:26):
But going home, I have to get off on that
Conroy exit and traffic is already styling the bill going
over to uh A Millennium all.
Speaker 6 (01:10:33):
Getting off there. Yes, yeah, so I haven't been out
there out there yet. No, No, I don't. I don't
plan to. I mean, the only one that would I
would think we was going to try to make a
risk and run for it.
Speaker 2 (01:10:44):
I went to the Ultimate Mall last week and it
wasn't bad. It wasn't too bad at all. But we're
planning on seeing Santa probably in the next couple of weeks,
and that it's going to be madness.
Speaker 8 (01:10:53):
Really.
Speaker 6 (01:10:53):
Yeah. Usually the line I have do you have a
sound of that you go to go? You know with
the Vito mall, he got him set up.
Speaker 3 (01:10:58):
Yeah, are in ALTI mine is where we usually go,
but maybe I'll slide through it.
Speaker 6 (01:11:04):
I ride by, like what's uptown? And hold john Oh
you know you first named basis every day every Johnny
and Santa.
Speaker 3 (01:11:14):
What I will say are the plazas. The plazas are
like water for lakes is a mess? Sometimes?
Speaker 6 (01:11:20):
Oh yeah, the same village. I try to. It's just
because there's so many parking, different cars going in different
and they're mad. Yeah, because the one of the garden
village has these what do you come like?
Speaker 4 (01:11:31):
Driver around about, round about and then and people don't
know that if I'm already driving, you can't cut in
unless you got room to cut in.
Speaker 5 (01:11:38):
And there's a process like you know which order respect in,
Like I mean you have a license on assum when
you took the.
Speaker 4 (01:11:43):
Test, and then they look at you like you're like
I wouldn't. I didn't come in here to go ahead,
but you did to me, so I canna run it
back to you. And that's how fights start. But see
I just do that and keep rolling. I don't stop them. No,
don't do that. So I want to find out if
you have gone out shopping or if you work in
retail we want to find out. We check in what
you want a year to find out, you know, how
is it going or people being nice? What's the rude
(01:12:06):
stuff's happening? And then deliver a message for anyone that's
going out shopping. Let them know that you do not
have that size in the back. You are not holding
that special one for your friend. But we need to
know all of that stuff and for somebody giving us
the best information and sharing with us. Got a pair

Speaker 11 (01:13:32):
All right?
Speaker 6 (01:13:33):
So you've been out You've been out in the street shopping?
Speaker 7 (01:13:34):
Huh oh my goodness.
Speaker 6 (01:13:37):
Yes, when did you go?
Speaker 2 (01:13:39):
So?
Speaker 7 (01:13:40):
I've been to Walmart. I've been to Fight Below. I
went to the mall Altamont Mall last week.
Speaker 11 (01:13:45):
Also, Walmart was not too bad.
Speaker 7 (01:13:49):
I'm Ashley Walmart was all right. It was when I
got to fight below and like h Ross, I went
to Ross's. I've been a lot of shopping. I got
to side below actually that it was.
Speaker 10 (01:14:03):
Pretty Yeah, and.
Speaker 4 (01:14:06):
Here's my thing, Brittany Ross and I like them. I
cannot go this time of the year because they moved
the aisles closer together. It's the one person down the
aisle kind of thing.
Speaker 1 (01:14:15):
It's not.
Speaker 4 (01:14:18):
Yeah, it's it's real tight up and there I said, Okay,
maybe I gave you a little way to something. No,
there's no turnaround. And if you in there with your car,
if you in there with your cart, ain't nobody else
coming in. It's it's it's and I want to take
my time to go through the shirts. And then's somebody Yeah, yeah,
I want to, Yeah, I want to. I want to
take a look.
Speaker 6 (01:14:38):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:14:38):
So I understand that one man. But people, they got
some good deals. You just gotta you gotta deal with it.
Speaker 9 (01:14:42):
You do.
Speaker 7 (01:14:44):
Really. Actually, I do enjoy shopping at Ross because they do.
I get a lot of my persumes from there.
Speaker 11 (01:14:49):
Actually.
Speaker 4 (01:14:50):
Yeah, no, I like shopping there too, but I will go,
like at ten thirty on a Tuesday. Soon as I
leave here, I'll go over there anytime after that. Man,
you're probably sinks. Yeah, hold on second. Maria from Orlando,
Good morning, Good morning, Johnny.
Speaker 6 (01:15:05):
How are you, Maria. I'm doing well. How about you?
Speaker 11 (01:15:07):
You did, I'm great.
Speaker 8 (01:15:10):
I have to tell you something. My son came yesterday
almost crying from Walmart because he is like a sheer
and this at a store there sells groceries and this thread.
It was so rude to him, to the point that
he was packing her stuff and she said, you're packing
it wrong. He's packing similar things together, you know, yeah,
mixed wet with with you know, dry, And she even
(01:15:30):
told him I can turn white and be a problem,
and I'm gonna just i mean literally insulted him like that,
and he just put a face like very neutral faith
and she's like, you're giving me attitude two. And he
didn't know what face to put because then they will
go to the manager and he will get points remove,
you know, his behavior. So he just just there at
(01:15:50):
her and she kept taking things out and put it
in another bag and saying that he was not packing
it correctly.
Speaker 4 (01:15:55):
Let me tell you something, Marie. Once upon a time
I did this thing where it was called celebrity baggers.
That's when they got local personality and news people and
you would you would bag people's grocery and they gave
you a tip.
Speaker 6 (01:16:05):
It went to charity. They told me going in.
Speaker 4 (01:16:08):
Listen, man, there's people very serious about the way you
pack their grocery, for sure, and they don't play with it. Yes,
and I said, Johnny would be nice. Whoa excuse me?
You don't put that in that. But it's eggs and
the bread. You don't put bread at eggs. I don't man,
I'm gonna select. Look, that's me right, I don't know.
Speaker 6 (01:16:27):
I don't care. I don't care. I don't know who
you are. I know you just messing up with my groceries.
Speaker 3 (01:16:32):
Training before.
Speaker 4 (01:16:33):
No, seriously, he tell your son that he didn't do
anything wrong. People are very very serious about the way
that they I don't care. My thing is my wife
is very serious. She puts it on the belt the
way she wants it in the bag.
Speaker 1 (01:16:45):
That smart.
Speaker 4 (01:16:46):
Don't be moving it around, yeah, because she will have
a problem. So tell your sons to help, you know,
and I know, and tell them it's just day one.
It's going happen again.
Speaker 6 (01:16:57):
To day. It's probably gonna happen again tomorrow.
Speaker 8 (01:17:00):
That's what I told him. Just hanging there because here's
a holiday.
Speaker 6 (01:17:03):
It is a holiday.
Speaker 8 (01:17:04):
Frustrated.
Speaker 6 (01:17:05):
Yeah, yeah, you hold on a street that spent years
in retail. Holiday it's every day. It was crazy.
Speaker 3 (01:17:10):
I feel like the world. Yeah, and that was back then.
Aout Let's see.
Speaker 2 (01:17:16):
Here, somebody does work in retail. They said, it hasn't
been that long, but it seems to be. As it
gets closer and closer, anxiety kind of like creeps in. Yeah,
that people just getting antsy.
Speaker 4 (01:17:26):
See, you understand, there's there's two types of people that
are shopping. There's some people that love it, they enjoy it,
they want to do it, and there's some people that
they're kind of forced to do it. They've already got
attitude because they know they got to do it. They
really don't want to do it.
Speaker 2 (01:17:37):
Somebody said that, please be aware that if we don't
have it on our shelves and we don't have it
in the back, and we try to order and it
comes after Christmas, it's not our fault.
Speaker 4 (01:17:45):
No, you're holding it for your friend. Yeah, you know
you're holding it for your friends. Everybody knows you're holding
it like.
Speaker 3 (01:17:49):
You want to get mad at somebody.
Speaker 6 (01:17:51):
Hear it all the time. You know you got something
that No, man, there's nothing in the back. You got
this as the size of x AL No, we only
have one. You ain't even checked the back. Can you
at least walk back there? Here's the funny thing, best
Buy there was no the back. Best Buy I didn't
have a warehouse. Oh really, I mean very slim amounts
like that. Like Circuit City we had a warehouse. We
(01:18:11):
kept everything in the warehouse. Just assumed it was like, hey,
you got another one of these in the back. No,
And that's by there was no the back.
Speaker 3 (01:18:17):
But like to that point though, it's like going to
Marshalls and being like, can you trust the back?
Speaker 6 (01:18:21):
No, what we have is what we have. Dude.
Speaker 4 (01:18:25):
If you go into to Marshalls and TJ TV Max,
come out the back you've never been, you have never
been and get out of my way.
Speaker 6 (01:18:32):
Be what they say XL.
Speaker 5 (01:18:33):
Mobile Power by Attorney Dan Newlan in therect need to check.
It's a no, bring attorney Dan Newland. This is very specific.
But they're a game Stop employee and they say, look,
we have to push the membership in the warranty, they
tell us that's how we get credit, so please allow
us to do our little spiel.
Speaker 6 (01:18:47):
And no, it's not something we want to do. And
it's cool if you say no, but we have to
do it. Yes.
Speaker 5 (01:18:52):
And I used to do the same thing, and I
worked for Best Buy. You have to sell them that
credit card and the protection.
Speaker 6 (01:18:57):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:18:58):
I always Hey, would you like to sell on some
credit card? And I said, ma'am, I really don't need
the credit and they need to. All right, we have
to ask. We got in trouble.
Speaker 6 (01:19:04):
We don't ask.
Speaker 4 (01:19:05):
Maria who's son got brated on day one, will be
berated for the next two to three weeks. Got a
pair of tickets Universal Orlando Resort. It's not forty two.
We're gonna talk to someone helping out to kennicope out
our baby DJ program. And then there's the ones that
go above and beyond. I mean, they're doing so much
you can't you can't even keep up with the things
they're doing for the program. And that is Christine. And
I want to personally thank you for everything you're doing,
(01:19:26):
because I mean, I'm sure you have a job, but
every moment you're you're contacting drop off location, You're contacting
business around your area to help out our program. And
I want to say thank you so much for doing so.
Speaker 6 (01:19:39):
You're quite welcome.
Speaker 4 (01:19:40):
And now you got something big going on on Saturday,
and I'm gonna stop by it. Please tell everybody what's
going on.
Speaker 9 (01:19:45):
So on Saturday from twelve to three, We'll be hosting
a Baby DJ drop off location. We will have ConA
Ice there, pizza from our snackshack in the community. Soda,
Brock and Brew will be out there with Gibson Supply,
Texas Roadhouse will be out there with Andy Okay. We
will have our salesforce from the community out there for
(01:20:08):
open houses okay, and mister de Lago. And currently we
have a half of twenty six foot box struck already.
Speaker 6 (01:20:18):
Loaded for you. Wow, we're looking to get a full
box Struck that is aw to be delivered. What is
it about?
Speaker 4 (01:20:25):
I mean, I'm sure Christina has a lot of organizations
that are out there. What was it about ours?
Speaker 8 (01:20:30):
Did you?
Speaker 4 (01:20:30):
I mean you again, you are going above and beyond
to help us out. What is it about what we're doing?
Speaker 6 (01:20:34):
Did you say you know what? I want to stand
behind this?
Speaker 9 (01:20:36):
So our community manager and operations manager. He's a huge
fan of one of six point seven. Okay, and I
tried bringing it to us last year and we had
a little difficulty getting together. But we listened to you
all day every day, okay, and you guys just touch
your hearts.
Speaker 6 (01:20:55):
Oh, thank you, thank you.
Speaker 4 (01:20:56):
And then we started reading letters this morning and you
said it you got you said you got a little
emotional checked today.
Speaker 6 (01:21:03):
It was a happy one. It was a happy one,
you know.
Speaker 4 (01:21:06):
And that's the thing, you know, the reason that we
read the letters so people know that, you know, when
you donate, this is where it's going to. It's going
to a single mom, it's going to a single dad,
it's going to some people.
Speaker 9 (01:21:16):
You know.
Speaker 4 (01:21:16):
We're trying to contact a young lady now, I'm trying
to reach out to her who's living in a van
with her four kids. You know, it's some I mean, we,
like I said Brian myself, we read these letters and
we sit back and we go wow. And one thing
that we noticed this year that there's an underlying theme
of abuse. Yeah, and that's Brian, I said, did you
He said yeah, And Ray said the same thing. You
know a lot of mothers is just I gotta go,
(01:21:37):
and and they leave with just the car and the
clothes on their backs and just get away to try
to start a new life, you know. So I'm glad
with organizations like yourself and individuals like you. You'll know exactly.
I would love to invite you down to our toy
warehouse when they're shopping so you can see exactly. You know,
I would love for you to I'll show you around
myself and you'll see exactly it's It's a beautiful thing
to watch. It'll takes about seven hundred and fifty volunteers
(01:22:00):
to volunteer their time and efforts to make this happen.
Speaker 9 (01:22:03):
But now I believe some of our management team has
volunteered already.
Speaker 4 (01:22:06):
To okay and okay, perfect perfect, because it takes people
like you to just step up and beyond and above
to do that. So we're looking forward. Tell them once
again on Saturday, where's it going to be and what
time is going to take place?
Speaker 9 (01:22:18):
So it's eighty seven oh one West Earlo Bronson Memorial
Highway from twelve to three. It'll be in the parking
lot with hal International Taxes. Florida Villa Entertainment, Crazy crabs
and massage and k insurance and visa Mini Start, so
any one of those will get you to the right spot, okay.
Speaker 4 (01:22:36):
And we're looking forward to it. I will be there
on Saturday and looking forward to filling up the rest
of that U haul to help out those kids. Ste
We need to anybody need to shout out and say
hello to thank you for putting this on you.
