also low maintenance. She tips two hundred percent and was nice. Yes,
Post Malone's super good tipper. David Lee Roth. Only four
other tables were seated at the time, and this person

was like serving by themselves. He paid everyone's bill the restaurant.
So I mean the majority of these people Kevin Hart
tipped Massive, Jack Black, Elvis, Presley Shack. They are actually
pretty good tippers on the work list. Jay Z really yeah,
not only was he rude, but he also did not
tip anything.

He said, look, your tip is I'm here. Stanley Tucci
really no, that's what I said. I was like, what
maybe with an overside on hip?

So I guess something went wrong with their meal. Yeah,

I know what people are pushing back, saying, it takes

What we do yesterday? Updates on the way Johnny's House.
It's Johnny's House. Is Friday six eighteen, sunny and hot
with a fifty percent chance of a thunderstorm. But they
say it'll happen this afternoon. It's gonna feel like one

hundred and seven and it is eighty one right now.
Let's see yesterday, it's a normal day. The kid came
home and he was he was frustrated, and I said, hey,
what happened? And he was late for his first periodic class.
I said, what do you mean? He was late and
it was his first time in his life he's ever
had to deal with traffic, and he started telling me.

I said, son, nobody cares about traffic, but that you
don't standing. As soon as I got out, it was
bumper to bumper all the way down. A trip that
would take me ten minutes took me twenty five. I'm like, son,
it's non excuse. People don't care about that. But as
soon as I turned the corner it was more traffic.
I'm like, do you understand that people do this in
the mornings and in the afternoon.

Speaker 8 (05:57):
You have to adjust your sound? Yokit The track that's
the way it works. But I'm laughing because he's like,
I don't understand. I'm like, it's traffic. It's your first
time in your life dealing with it. It happens, I said.

I make a point that if I have in the afternoon,
if I have to go somewhere that's an hour away,
I leave an hour and twenty minutes. Because I don't know.
Traffic pops up whenever it wants to. It's just how
it is. It's like but nah, And I'm like, yeah,
and you know what, and when you it's to a
point now that it's not unless it hits the news
or social media and nobody hears about it. They don't care.

Your boss doesn't care that you hit traffic. They think
at this point in your life, you need to know
what to do and get yourself early. It's like really, yeah,
it's he said. When he got the campus, the security
guy was there and he's like, man, it was traffic goes, yes, Florida,
get the class.

Nobody cares a school. It's just the way the school,
especially school parking lots.

Wow, those things are like, oh, he was a zoo.
He was all hype and I'm just sitting there like, dude,
it's it's traffic. But I had to think about it.
You first went, well, realize that now you have to
leave another ten minutes. If you're there early, that's fine. Yeah,
but no teacher or job is going to be like
once or twice they're like, yeah, I hit traffic. Oh
I heard about it, or like, okay, after that, it's

you sop used to it. I thought it was the
funniest thing, let's see. Then I called and talked to
my mom. Found out she has pneumonia. She's in the hospital. Man,
but she's fine. She's like, I'm fine. They got me
full of medicine. I want something to eat, though, I'm like, no,
tell me what you want. And that was about it.

It's good. I've been filling in for Pride Radio, like
some extra shifts or whatever, so I had to do
that yesterday. I did that at home, and then I
hung out with some coworkers.

Yeah, somebody tells me somebody somebody's hanging out doing a
school night and I thought they were talking about me. Yeah,
And I'm like, this is one of these another Johnny
Magic lookalikes.

Speaker 6 (07:56):
This YO Now listener named Karen. So to her, she goes,
I'm going to send it to your coworkers. I said, okay,
do it. But yeah, I hung out with like JJ
Rice and Mel Taylor. Obviously Kim was hanging out too.

And then so I'm actually surprised JJ Rice didn't text
us the photo because he loves to do that.

Yeah, I'm surprised he didn't do that either, But we
hung out.

Yeah, we were at our Glass brewing. It's over a
long one had a couple of locations. No, it's just
a brewery, but they have food like the Papa Bees
wings and stuff.

So they all decided to hang out.

Well JJ Rice has been trying to get us together
for a little bit and so finally we made it
happen yesterday.

Yeah, how about you broth Now that's something he stopped
asking me to.

Uh, now that I was here way longer than I
anticipated yesterday, So everything just kept stacking and we had
technical problems yesterday, and then helped the rock station get
a little interview set up on their little video stream.

So everything just pushed me back.

But that means I got to stay here long enough
for Ocean Prime to roll in. What I missed. They
brought full on potatoes are grotten. Their popcorn was delicious,
so I'm like, they brought like trumfle popcorn.

So yeah, so at least I got ice cream in
the morning thanks to Smile ice Cream. And then I
got a steak in the afternoon. It's all part of
Taste Central, Florida, so.

And so yeah, did that, and then my wife and
I just kind of made made a little She went
and got some shrimps and she got like a shrimp
boil for dinner. So we watched our Master Chef and
then made some You know, we're loosely making plans for
our trip because we're a month away from our trip
to the UK.

So yeah, man, I forgot to mention. I went to
Life Image in FLA. Got some problems.

You need to go to the gym.

Yeah, yeah, the there's a little build up, But is
that a point where I can work it through? Yeah?
But if I don't, Yeah, you gotta fix yourself. I

My team again this year is Lake Nona High School.
That is my team. I signed them originally for a
two year deal, but they've been so nice to me
that I've just been hanging out and riding with them.
And this is a they call it the kickoff for
the preseason Kickoff Classic. This is an exhibition game, so
it doesn't necessarily count. We play Bron's team what Seminole
High School tonight and they play at the Themoor Stadium

over in Lake Nona. And the don't forget we are
looking for teams. I think there's a spot for one
or one team left for Football Friday starting in the
week or so every morning for like the next couple months,
every Friday morning, we will have a team in here
talking about their school. Let the cheerleaders talk, let the
players whoever they bring in. So if you would like

what are you doing these days? I've met people who

have who've been in football Friday twenty five years ago.
Their kids on football Friday. We had somebody to come
in and their kid. She said, I was on football
Friday like twenty something years ago, and this is my daughter.
I'm like, get out of here. So I want to
find out if you want those Friday Night Warriors, if
you played football, if you were in the band, on
the cheer team, flag, what it all represents? The band?

You got flag, you got dance, you got cheer, cheer,
the football team, the football team band. If you played
any of those things on Friday night, what are you
doing now? I played on Friday Night number twenty two
defensive Van Myers Park High School. I ain't gonna lie.
I was not that good. I was fast. That's the
only reason I got in on special plays. I was

a hawk. That called me a hawk back. That's when.
That's when it was third and long. The only time
I got in a third and long, and then I
just had to cover the If anybody went deep, I
wasn't gonna tackle him. I could catch him though, gotcha.
And I was the end on the punting team that
once they punt, I ran down and tackled the guy
who oh like a gunner. Yeah, yeah, that was it.
I was the only I think I was one hundred

and I think I was one hundred and twenty two pounds.
Teams is important. I was. My biggest claim of fame
is they had a nationally ranked quarterback h playing and uh,
the guy who was blocking me, like we were beating
so bad. They put me in Yeah, and I shot
the gap and I grabbed his jersey. I didn't tackle him. Yeah.

Yeah, my son has that same story. Yeah, and he
has the video. He was half a step away from
the sacond like a really good quarterback.

Yes, and the guy threw it away.

I got a bound so like he made him throw
it away, like he didn't get to him.

He was close though, he was close, because you know
what he almost did. What. Yeah, I didn't get the sack.

did you play football, they was like he was fast.
I was not good. I was not good.

My son's stories are more who he played against, because
he played against guys from Jones Edgewater and these are
guys that are like d One, like superstars.

Yeah, I know the running back. You told me right
bright you want to you have anything new with Friday
night Light? I mean not not in school. I mean
I went to all the games. Yeah, you know, I
was a fan. I was small to play. You guys
saw the picture of me.

Yeah, you're very small and you know back then there
Seminole had a bunch of big dudes. Yes, so I
wouldn't know why I was playing, even though I loved it.
I just went to the games. And then I you know,
when my son played, I went to every game.

you go to the game when you No, I did
go to some games.

A lot of my friends were cheerleaders, so I would
go to a lot of the games and like support,
you know, the football team and all that, and sit
in the bleachers and walk around.

My girlfriends were cheerleaders. See a lot of the freedoms
that that we had then they don't have anymore. Like
doing the game. We used to walk the track even
though the game was was going on. Yeah, you walked
the track to the other side and then walk back.

You can't do that now.

Locked off now? Yeah yeah, oh that was the best part.
Yeah yeah. It was really social. Yes, yeah at the
end of the game, did we win? Now y'all lost
on because it was, like you said, it was more
social than y'all start fighting each other and stuff. Now
now they make you sit And here's a funny thing.
I've gone to a couple of games when my son
couldn't drive, and the visit decided it's like they put

barely put lights there. It's a lonely place over there.
There ain't no amenities. Yes, a couple of parents are like, hey,
you're like, but that's at every school.

I was a kicker and a punter, so it wasn't

Was very important to very important part of the team.
It's just very underrated, that's all.

Now, what is your fondest memory when you were balling
out Friday night lights.

Oh man. I remember we were playing against Nature's Coast
Tech our homecoming game. It was just completely raining, completely
take non stop raining, non stop raining, and it was
kind of a back and forth game. There a West
Coast offense. They all they did was just run the ball,
run the ball, and my punts kept pinning them inside

the ten yard line. Like I was really making effect.

Of that game.

Yeah, but we had a big turnaround. A guy broke
through on the kickoff. I missed the tackle, but I
didn't miss the ball. I was able to strip it
right off his hands. He got the ball back in it.
It completely changed the game and the momentum of that game,
and we won that game for homecoming.

Excellent. And how many years ago was that?

Speaker 5 (18:50):
No.

I graduated in twenty eighteen in high school. So it's
I don't want to say, but it's almost getting close
to ten.

But you remember that played like it was damn yesterday.
They call it the strip that they call it, that's

Here's my thing, though, is I can't lie about the
Friday Night Lights. I was not that good. I played
because I was fast, that was the only reason I
made the team, because I was the fastest kid on
the team. That was it. Hey, I can't be sitting
that time, my man, I used to do this. Now
I hadn't made it to the next up. You played
college ball then? Yeah?

Right, yeah, I played college ball?

Yeah what'd you play?

I played it. I started a Division two school in
Lindo State University up there in West Virginia. I realized
the cold rolling this was not for me, so I
came back home to Florida went to u CF.

Wow, now if it was today, how much n I
l money you think you have made?

Let's see, I've made about zero when I played there,
probably almost the same.

No, they pay players now, yea, even punters.

started with don't mix it, which was an accident because
I started with dumb cakes. I used to have a
very southern neighbor when I was growing up in Melbourne,
and she taught me how to make dumb cakes. She
taught me like the basic recipe, and then growing in life,
I changed a lot of the ingredients and people were like, wait,
how can you can do this?

And they're like you can do this.

In the South, there's this one dumb cake recipe and
that's what everybody uses. But I changed the flavors. I
did all this and then that's where it started. And
then it don't mix it, I said in my first video,

going and they're like, say it louder, and then that's
how it became a catchphrase.

locked bedroom door. So I guess she was trying to

conversate like with him, and so he locked himself in
the room and she was trying to have a conversation
with him, eventually discovering him in the bathroom and then
that's when she opened up the door and like the
nightmare became a reality, and she said, like it was terrifying.
She experienced the whole thing, like it left her feeling
like numb as a person. And obviously she was seeing

a different person of what was going on with him
because he was having a breaking point. Yeah, So she
was like what I can say was that, you know,
she didn't recognize her brother when she looked at him.
She did not recognize him because he was having a breakdown,
and after you know, she got the three children safely

the children over to a close friend and later returned
to help her as while waiting for the anim And
so there was multiple resources and everything that were coming
out saying that like, oh, they weren't in the house,
but they were in the house. They didn't witness anything
because she got them out the safety. But she's speaking

publicly to like kind of like counter the misinformation but
also asking for compassion.
