Hey you up yet you're hanging out in Johnny's House.
Come on, good morning, get a six oh one. Orlando's
number one hit music station is XL one O six seven.
This is Johnny's House. Is gonna keep you updated with
Hurricane Milton as it makes his way to central Florida.
But today mostly cloudy, seventy percent chance of rain, heat
index is gone, y'all. The high today of seventy seven.
(01:02):
Who that's right? And right now it's seventy two.
Speaker 6 (01:05):
Now the Johnny's House Entertainment News.
Speaker 4 (01:08):
With Ray all right.
Speaker 7 (01:09):
So there was a celebration of life ceremony that was
held for Richard Simmons. It happened in New Orleans on Saturday. Now,
the cool thing is is that his brother Lenny let
everyone know that Richard was buried in his classic workout gear.
So that is what he's known for.
Speaker 4 (01:27):
Has a little short shorts.
Speaker 7 (01:28):
Yes, so his brother said, just like Clark Kent, underneath
his beautiful things that he was wearing his clothing is
wearing a tank top in shorts, just like you know,
people wanted or saw him as like always wearing that
tank top and those short shorts.
Speaker 4 (01:43):
She said.
Speaker 7 (01:43):
He said, why you ask because we think that God
has another plan for him. So he's basically saying that,
like he wants to make sure the saints and the
angels get into shape.
Speaker 4 (01:52):
Let's go. We We had him on This is way
back in Doc and Johnny and this is when he
was in his peak and you can see the studio
was set up where you could see the studio you
can see the parking lot right through. And as soon
as he pulled up, he just ran in. It went
like he wait for no receptionist. I'm like, how he
had so much energy and he sat on my left
and he did. And I can tell you as much
(02:13):
y'all ain't now I'm sure, Oh.
Speaker 7 (02:16):
My gosh, not as that's a good story to have sweating.
Speaker 4 (02:23):
I was.
Speaker 5 (02:27):
Left.
Speaker 7 (02:29):
So, yeah, Richard Simmons will forever be sweating with the holies.
Speaker 4 (02:33):
He said, he did. He did an appearance at one
of the at a ballroom in fact, standing room only
with them. Just his workout was to the left cloud.
It was just wild. It was just a hype video
he had attached.
Speaker 8 (02:45):
Yn't magical, it really was.
Speaker 7 (02:49):
So he did pass away from heart disease and complications
from that recent fall.
Speaker 4 (02:53):
That's what they said.
Speaker 7 (02:55):
So everybody is talking about Lyle and Eric Menendezes because
of that Netflix show Monsters, and the brothers are getting
a huge increase in mail according to the San Diego
prison where they're serving life for the murder of their parents.
But the mail also includes autograph requests. Now this is
really wild. There's one item that people want him them
(03:18):
to sign. It's a nineteen ninety Mark Jackson basketball card.
Speaker 4 (03:22):
I have that.
Speaker 8 (03:23):
I know exactly what it was, Yeah, because those were
the cheap cards back then in NBA hoops is what
they were called. They were like twenty five cents a pack,
so all like all the kids bought them because they
were the cheapest. But they're sitting court side, yes, and
the back of it and Mark Jackson's.
Speaker 7 (03:37):
Car, and that's why everybody is sending it to the
prison for them to sign. Because he was on the
New York Knicks Mark Jackson, and they were at court side.
Speaker 4 (03:47):
This was after the murders. Yeah, they were saying, what
the family was dead? An they were at the game.
Speaker 7 (03:52):
Yeah, they were sitting court side after they murdered their parents.
Speaker 4 (03:55):
That's insane.
Speaker 7 (03:56):
So people are like, Okay, we want you guys to
sign these, and so there's a influx of people that
are sending those to the jail.
Speaker 3 (04:02):
Now.
Speaker 4 (04:02):
Yesterday had a choice. I wanted to watch the documentary
a movie on Netflix and it was either that one
or mister McMahon Vince McMahon from the w W, which
one y'all think. I watched Vince McMahon. I'm on episode three.
Speaker 7 (04:15):
Yeah, that sprised that Jelly World tours pretty much NonStop
and he wants to.
Speaker 4 (04:20):
Keep it that way, he said.
Speaker 7 (04:21):
He said that in a video that he says that
even being on the road three hundred days a year
isn't too much for him. He's like at that point
where he's just like I'm going I'm all in. So
he said, I want to play songs and sing for
people forever. I don't think there's a day I'll ever
stop doing it.
Speaker 4 (04:37):
He's a man who used to look at a ceiling
from a prison bade Yeah. And now he's the presidential suite,
exploring the world and alone.
Speaker 8 (04:45):
He posted something really cool yesterday about his weight loss
because he's he's lost a lot of weight. He's still
a big guy, but he lost a lot of weight,
and he was just saying that it's like he's playing
he's played basketball for the first time in years.
Speaker 4 (04:55):
He's like, I'm free to live.
Speaker 8 (04:57):
I didn't realize how like chained up I was, because
like I could walk down the street now and I
don't feel like I'm winded it. Yeah, Like he just
everything about his life right now is so much better
than it was three years ago.
Speaker 9 (05:09):
And it's the way that he's performing for the people.
It's like he's practically borderline preaching.
Speaker 4 (05:13):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I wish I went to that shell. Yeah.
Well he said it to hit me back around. Yes,
I'm saying he's gonna be on the road forever. We
have to catch you next time.
Speaker 8 (05:22):
Last it rained in the arena on stage, my man
sang his last song in the rain because they built
I've never seen that. They built a rain cloud above
him and he went to the middle and you could
see him put plastic over everything because they had to
keep all the electronics. And he just sat there in
the rain and say, and then the crowd at the
end of it wet, wet.
Speaker 4 (05:41):
You don't even know what the saw one. No, I don't,
but I would have cried. It's just so moving updates
on our weekend. It is coming up next one Johnny's house.
But for us today we're gonna have mostly cloudy with showers.
I lived thunderstorms, seventy chance of rain, maybe one a
quarter inch possible falling. The high today is only seventy seven.
(06:01):
They said a cool friend was coming through. So it's
here and it is seventy two right now. Friday did
a petrified forest. I did one house. That's it. Here's
the funny thing. People think I'm joking when I don't
tell him I don't like that stuff. Rumbar assisters station
there I saw. I'm talking to Brian. He really don't
like you don't like that? He just doesn't like that.
What is he scared of something?
Speaker 8 (06:21):
Just so the house we did was really cool. You
have to hold onto a rope because it's dark. The
whole ideas had to super dark because the theme of
it is that whatever's out there is trying to steal
your eyes.
Speaker 4 (06:32):
Yeah, so Johnny's in front. What I told you, I
didn't want to go in front.
Speaker 8 (06:37):
And I'm like, dude, you're holding up the line. Dude,
he wouldn't move Ray, I'm telling you, he was taking
literally a quarter of a stack every five seconds like this.
Speaker 4 (06:46):
I'm surprised you wouldn't want to run through.
Speaker 8 (06:48):
Meanwhile, I'm jamming whole rope. I'm all jammed up on
his back. I got people jammed up on my back.
I'm like, bro, you gotta move dog. So I said, well,
get in front of me, dog. And I did not,
And I'm moved.
Speaker 4 (06:59):
Hold onto the road, Hold onto the road, flying out
of trees and stuff. Man, it was I came out
of the sweating like but I was prepared. I had
a sweat toil with me. I did won that was
it anymore? Huh? Three? Yeah? I didn't one And they
said we'll take them to the scariest one. I'm like,
that's it. I'm done. I don't like that. It was great.
Speaker 8 (07:17):
The theme was great, The whole setup was great. So
Saturday hung out with the kid. Yesterday was storm central
in my house. I mean anytime. I mean, it's his
passion and I love it. But every I mean, it
could be far, it'd be fourth in the ball on
the inches and here's the play d Yeah yep, yep,
(07:38):
yep yep. So he's really into this hurricane thing. So
that was my thing yesterday all day ray House yours.
Speaker 4 (07:46):
It was good.
Speaker 7 (07:47):
I had the kids this weekend, so we had softball
on Friday and then kind of just hung out with
the family and stuff on Saturday and Sunday. Yeah, my
mom and the kids like made like a taco bar
and taco.
Speaker 4 (08:01):
Yes they are.
Speaker 7 (08:03):
Yeah, So the kids were pretending that they were like
waiters at the restaurant and like serving us.
Speaker 4 (08:08):
So it was cute. Yeah, it was cool.
Speaker 8 (08:11):
So we did a petrified forest on Friday night, which
was a lot of fun, uh, And then Saturday it
is kind of laid around the house and watch some
football and then I had Stadium Club on Saturday night
over at Creeberrial for the watch party for UCF and UF.
Speaker 4 (08:26):
Didn't go so well for the CF no no, yeah,
but it was cool.
Speaker 8 (08:29):
They gave ten percent off to anyone who wore UCF
or UF gear, which is cool. Yeah, okay, and myself
and Brandon from the sports station where they were hanging out.
Some listeners that were at last weekend came by. Oh nice,
so that was pretty cool. Yeah, it was packed. It
was a good time and there was boxing on and
UFC on and baseball on listening watch sports.
Speaker 4 (08:46):
Yeah, that is an ideal place. Yeah, so it was.
It was great.
Speaker 8 (08:48):
So we did that and then yesterday we were going
to do something to get out of the house, but
like you just wouldn't stop raining.
Speaker 4 (08:54):
Nope, wouldn't stop raining.
Speaker 8 (08:55):
So I had to stay up late and watch the
Hurricanes game on anyway, on Saturday night. They started at
ten thirty a night because they played in California and
in till two thirty in the morning and the literal
last play of the game is what wanted for Miami.
So till two thirty in the morning I had to
And then I'm excited because we won and I can't
go to sleep. Wow, it's terrible because, yeah, we didn't
do anything yesterday because of the rain.
Speaker 4 (09:15):
We just laid around the house. I was I started
to clean the pool area from the last one and
I asked the kid, hey, another hurricane is sin Saturday yep,
I do that now.
Speaker 8 (09:26):
Yeah, I got I got us today, go get everything
and put it inside and make sure everything's good.
Speaker 4 (09:30):
And my wife told me that she thinks something laying
an egg.
Speaker 8 (09:33):
In her pool. So now I've got to go investigate
what's gonna hatch shaped egg. I don't know what it is.
I mean all eggs are shaped the same. I think
it look like eggs. Wow, So I'm gonna go find
out what it is and scoop them out. We'll find
out that little boice.
Speaker 4 (09:47):
You sign you scoop it out. Man, My life ain't
touching nothing. They got anything to do with wildlife. I'm
just yetching around. Oh well, we all know that I
had quite the friday for those say nothing. I'm I'm
saying a word. That's all on you. I ain't saying nothing. Listen,
we were gonna keep this sacred.
Speaker 9 (10:04):
But I actually really don't mind talking about this because
I think it is quite hilarious. But on Friday, when
we were all at petrified for us, I just shared
this with Ray. Yeah, y'all think Johnny's the most scared.
I'm about to beat him.
Speaker 4 (10:18):
Oh okay, I'm sitting now on the bench right because
I ain't going through the houses, and all of a sudden.
Speaker 8 (10:25):
Brian calls me. I text you first, but I needed
you to answer fast, so I'm like, how is Brian
calling me? He's in the house and I thought maybe
I don't know why. I was like, yo, what's up?
Speaker 4 (10:36):
Hey man? I need two T shirts? What can't tell you?
Why could you try and meet me? It was like
this meet me at the exit of house number so
and so.
Speaker 8 (10:43):
Yeah, We're in the maze and everyone's having a good time,
and then the ree comes back to me and says, hey, hey, hey, hey,
I need help, and I'm like, the.
Speaker 4 (10:54):
Hell's going on?
Speaker 9 (10:55):
So basically what happened is because they put me this
is the last house. They put me at the front
of the line, and I ped myself a little.
Speaker 4 (11:04):
I'm not it was not a little, actually, and.
Speaker 9 (11:07):
I got so scared and I screamed so much that
I literally peed myself. And when I looked down, I
was like, this is not good. So I ran to
Brian because I panicked, and I went to him. I
was like, bro, sos and he looked at.
Speaker 4 (11:21):
Me like, Bro, what do you want me to do?
Speaker 8 (11:23):
I was like, I don't know what to do, and
you know she's in dire streets if she comes to the.
Speaker 4 (11:29):
Said, Brian didn't even tell me what it was for. Yes,
he just said, hey, man, I need you to find
me two T shirts. I'll try to explain it like
I'm everybody's keeper. So yeah, for sure, for sure I'm
not dead doing promotion. I need two T shirts. Well,
I don't think we brought in it. I mean, if
I mean something. So they ran to the van and
(11:50):
then I told them the people that petrified forest, and
I said, we'll get you two shirts. Didn't ask why.
They just handed me the park that was killing me.
Speaker 9 (11:58):
When we got to the trailer, well, first of all,
we were with the listeners, so they were all watching
this unfold like in real time.
Speaker 4 (12:03):
You made it, you highlighted it. You could have been
way more low key about it, and.
Speaker 8 (12:07):
They probably wouldn't have because nobody walked around staring at
your crotch.
Speaker 4 (12:12):
But I was panicking and I didn't know how to
handle this. People would have known if it was a
design that way. Oh oh yeah.
Speaker 9 (12:17):
It was gone within like twenty minutes after that, I
was like, dang no. But when we got to the
trailer to get the shirts. The guy's like, well, do
you want to put it on? I was like, nope,
I got it on already, don't you wor it's like
strapped around my waist. And then on top of that,
everyone wanted to take pictures. I was like, well, let
me just position myself this way and then no one
will ever know.
Speaker 4 (12:34):
And I told her, I said, hey, we got this thing,
and it's called sacred. When you stay sacred, I means
know what. I didn't tell Ray this morning. I didn't.
When Ray came in, she yes, how was I was like,
it was a lot of fun. Yeah, I didn't go. Hey,
by the way, we beat the pants, A sacred is
a sacred and you honored that.
Speaker 9 (12:50):
Yes, yes, I honestly, this story is just too good
to be told for me to keep it to myself.
But after that, I went to South Florida because my
friend was having a baby shower. I spent time with
my mom, and then I came back up here for
the woman's soccer Game's everywhere busy.
Speaker 4 (13:05):
You might make sure you keep your car service, girl,
because a lot. Yeah. Man, all right, listen, we come back.
We're gonna talk a little bit about Hurricane Milton and
where do you go when you need that weather? We're
gonna talk about that next on Johnny's House. It's seventy
two right now. The question is where do you go
for your weather? And when you get a weather update,
I don't have to go to weather comes to me
(13:26):
in my house. The kid is on it. Man, he's
I mean, he's really passionate about the weather. I sit
back and I watch now when I need to start watching,
I'm not like, and it may sound bad, but I'm
not like really stationed loyalty when it comes to TV weather.
If I'm watching Channel four, I flipped the three when
(13:49):
I was the closest that I can get an update from,
and then I'll you know, because different ones like c
cf A News thirteen, they do theirs that on the ones,
So I'll watch that one and then if I can't
find anything there, I'll go to the weather channel and get
it there. But I usually just click around until I
can get the right information. What do you do when
you need it?
Speaker 7 (14:09):
It's funny because I I on social media, they'll post
the tracks like immediately, so I'll see you.
Speaker 4 (14:16):
I saw a boss. You'll just track yes, share me.
Speaker 8 (14:21):
That's where you go if you want to be alarmed
over something else, yes, don't need to be alarmed.
Speaker 4 (14:25):
Oh my goodness.
Speaker 7 (14:26):
So I usually look on social media for like the tracks,
but like loyalty wise for news, it's Fox thirty five. Yeah,
I'm always in, Like if you have their weather app,
like Fox thirty five does the updates like pretty quickly
on their app. Yeah, so that's that's pretty much it.
Speaker 4 (14:41):
Yeah, yesterday when I woke up, they were doing local
weather and everybody will kind of go national and I
want to check them out first thing yesterday, Brian, where
do you go? Yes?
Speaker 8 (14:49):
So when it comes to TV Fox for sure, because
I feel like they are most consistently gone, like I
know they're going to be giving me updates, but honestly, X,
Twitter whatever, they have everything faster than everybody else, Like
their their news beats everybody else's news. So I go
there a lot because I see it in my feed
pretty pretty regularly. And then I use the Weather Channel app.
Speaker 3 (15:10):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (15:10):
And then I have another app that I use called
vin Tuski that's actually really good and you can it
forecasts everything, shows you win speed. Yeah, it's like super
in depth. It's really cool. I I notice now that
they use it on TV. So yeah, so I use
that a lot and then and whatever. I just I mean,
I I pay attention. I have alert set up.
Speaker 4 (15:30):
But like my thing is I don't like right now
is if you're in weather and the weather is your thing,
you're you're the superstar. Yeah, and I don't like. I
want the facts. I don't want you to scare me.
I don't want you to go, hey, listen, I don't
want you to take this thing lightly because some of
you are gonna get what's before from Fox News Smith.
(15:51):
Oh yeah, and your kids die too. Yeah, I don't
want that. You tell me where it is, where's it
gonna hit, How is it gonna affect?
Speaker 3 (15:58):
Uh?
Speaker 4 (15:58):
This is what I got from this morning. There's gonna
be power outage, it's gonna be worse, gonna be the rain.
It's gonna happen Wednesday night Thursday, six to fifteen inches
of rain and tornados can pop up in any time.
That's the facts. You know what I'm saying. That's what's
gonna happen. All right, thereis What do you do?
Speaker 9 (16:14):
I rely on my app a lot because I'm at
this point covering all of central Florida. I got my
sister in Gainesville. I got my other sister or my
mom down in South Florida. So like, even traveling throughout
up and down in Florida this past weekend, I'm constantly
looking at my phone, so I'll look at the different
cities that I'm at given my GPS. And my favorite
part about the app is it'll show you the precipitation,
like in real time and so like, and you can
(16:36):
move it based on the hours and stuff and like
where there's rain, just a regular iPhone app weather.
Speaker 7 (16:42):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (16:42):
I literally keep it right at the top with the
information and stuff. So yeah, okay, I want to find
out from you this time. And we got a hurricane
that is coming our way. We may not get a
direct hit, but we will get the rain and we
will get there. It is there. It is the rain,
the wind power outed for sure, that's gonna happen. Flooding
in areas, that's gonna happen. So where do you go?
(17:05):
Where do you go when you need to get your
weather update, to get your fixed, to get to know
what is happening, where you can start planning to do
what you need to do. Four oh seven now one
nine one on six seven eight seven seven now one
nine one on six seven x el mobile four one
O six seven of live stream and social media. We
want to hear it from you. I'm sure that these
TV stations or wherever you get it are listening to
see if you get it from them. Where do you
(17:26):
go when you need to get your weather update and
situations like right now, I'm playing close attention to everything
because we have to, because we need to relay messages
to you. But where do you go four oh seven
now one nine one O six seven eight seven seven
now one nine one o six seven. Fillis in next
on Johnny's house where we are looking out for Hurricane
Milton that'll be hitting in our area around Wednesday Thursday. Like,
(17:49):
but today we're gonna just have some wind and rain
hog today of seventy seven seventy two right now and
there's a seventy percent chance of rain. Our question to
you is when you need that weather fix you something's
going on, it's heading right forward, all that good stuff.
Where do you go to get your weather fixed? From
Kasimi Joy? Good morning, Good morning, Johnny's house.
Speaker 10 (18:09):
How's everybody doing?
Speaker 4 (18:10):
Everybody's good? Good? How you doing? I'm good thank you,
So where you go.
Speaker 10 (18:15):
So I'm I'm a diehard Tom Terry fan on WFTV.
I've been watching him since he correctly called the curve
on Charlie in two thousand and four. He was one
of the first to do it, giving us some major
heads up, and ever since then, I'm just saying he
got your trust him.
Speaker 4 (18:30):
He got your trust, he said, because a lot of
people one day they said, you know what, I'm gonna
be safe, an't gonna tell you all about that curve.
He said, it's curving, and it.
Speaker 10 (18:36):
Curved exactly, and he gave us about an hour more
than any other meteorologists even nationally, to you know, make
those preparations. So ever since then, I'm just absolutely devoted
to him, and he's great. You can gauge kind of
how the hurricane's going to be based on his attire,
So he'll lose the jacket and then as it expresses,
he'll lose the tie and then the sleeves get rolled up.
(18:57):
As he's actually become a meme because you know his
stages of of where his clothing is. So yeah, absolutely
trust him and he's great to watch. He doesn't fear longer.
Speaker 4 (19:06):
He's always accurate. So if you if you tune in
and he just has on a tank top, that mean
all he'll break and loose right right, I'm out of here,
Thank you, Joy. That is so true. You can see
the steps of how like stress.
Speaker 8 (19:23):
Yeah, Oh, leaves are always the joke. Man, he rolls up,
serious man, man? Well, pop, good Chris, Chris, good morning.
Speaker 11 (19:31):
Hey, good morning. How's everybody today?
Speaker 4 (19:33):
Everybody? All right? So what do you get you fixed?
Speaker 11 (19:35):
Well, I'm kind of the same as Joy. You know,
I usually watch Watchbox, but at night it's all about
Tom Terry because you have to see how much clothes
he has on. I'm afraid how far he will go
one day.
Speaker 4 (19:46):
So if he has no shirt on his slacks, you
should just get out of your house and just run exactly,
exactly all right. I'm a lot of people are saying
Mike's weather page. Yeah, some dude, his name is Mike.
His name is Mike. But he sits there. He looks
like he has on like this weird hat and it's
(20:07):
like he has the weather map behind him and like
he's drinking beer, going, hey, this is what's going on
back here?
Speaker 7 (20:12):
Well, there is multiple people that are saying Mike's weather
page is really good.
Speaker 4 (20:16):
Think he's from Florida. Yeah, that's funny. Yeah, I mean
I just went to it. It's legit.
Speaker 8 (20:19):
Oh yeah, I think this is the guy that we follow.
He drives around with a dash camp like a storm. Yeah,
I think this is ah.
Speaker 4 (20:26):
He'll be a dinner going. Hey, I need to update
you now. Listen, y'all need to pay close attention to
this thing. Blah blah blah.
Speaker 8 (20:31):
Yeah, got to follow him where His page actually does
have like a lot of different sources that pulls from it.
Speaker 4 (20:37):
His website has actually Spaghetti models dot com.
Speaker 8 (20:40):
That's funny, XL Mobile power by Attorney Dan Newel and
then erect need to check. It's a no brainer called
Attorney Dan Newlan. There are some Mike's weather page on here,
a lot of Tom Terry and Brian Shields. Yeah, and
then we have a few people who are also loyal
to Fox.
Speaker 4 (20:54):
Okay, okay, well wherever you get it, man, you know today,
just keep your eye on it tomorrow and then Wednesday
everything starts wrapping up. You got plenty of time to
start getting yourself prepared for anything that happens this way.
Just know that we're gonna get a lot of rain
and a lot of wind power outages, and tornados can
pop up at any place at any time. All right,
Ray was going on, We.
Speaker 7 (21:13):
Saw this coming. Taylor Swift is now the world's rich.
Speaker 4 (21:17):
This is the weekend. Hey, it's solid Rodrigo Johnny's House Mornings,
Orlando's number one hit music station all day.
Speaker 6 (21:24):
Six six seven, Orlando now the Johnny's House Entertainment News
with Ray.
Speaker 7 (21:32):
All Right, So we thought that Rihanna or Rihanna was
the richest female musician at one point four billion dollars,
but now Taylor is worth an estimated one point six
billion dollars. She's also the second richest musician overall behind
jay Z, so he's got a pretty substantial lead.
Speaker 4 (21:53):
Though here's the thing, both of both of Rihanna and
jay Z, their wealth came from secondary place. Yeah heard
the strictly music, right, strictly music.
Speaker 8 (22:03):
It's a few things, but nothing like I mean, she
endorses some stuff but nothing.
Speaker 7 (22:09):
Yeah. Jay Z's uh net worth or his his substantial
lead is two point five billion over all of the
ladies and all the other musicians.
Speaker 4 (22:18):
Think about maybe a year ago P Diddy would have
been ranked in he was close.
Speaker 7 (22:26):
Yeah, So I mean they're still saying that Rihanna keeps
the title because of like she was once worth one
point seventy seven billion.
Speaker 4 (22:34):
But I don't know. On another note, though, Taylor was
not at Travis Chalse and his fundraiser too. She will be.
Speaker 7 (22:44):
She was at the or she will be at the
Chiefs game, is what they're saying though. But they're like, well,
why it wasn't she at the birthday party? See, I
mean that's a big thing.
Speaker 4 (22:54):
That's what happens when a camera is lo on you.
Every time you show up to your man's mouf, you
miss something that your man is doing. They broke up.
Speaker 7 (23:00):
Yeah, So I mean her aristour hits Florida, uh, next Friday.
So I mean she's a busy girl. So I mean
for her to show up to a car jam spectacle
in Kansas City is not a gender not car jam.
Speaker 4 (23:14):
It's my man's car jams Kelsey car jam spectacle. That
I'm just saying. Machine missed the last two games too. Yeah,
why problems, That's what people say. No.
Speaker 7 (23:30):
I know, Lady Gaga and Walking Phoenix, Uh, I feel
bad for them because the hype, they got their check,
they don't get Yeah. Yeah, but the hype for Joker
was so strong, and it's like stumbling out the gate
right now, it's only making twenty million dollars the domestic
box office since Friday. That is not even like the
(23:53):
worst part though. The movie is clearly like bombing with
moviegoers because it's earning like a D grade on some
of these websites. But the Wrecker, it's like they're saying
that this is like a horrible movie. Like the reviews
and everything Rotten Tomatoes. They're not laughing at it. They're
like thirty two percent critic score, which is yeah, thirty
(24:14):
two yes, yes.
Speaker 4 (24:16):
I mean you had some Nicholas Cages movies.
Speaker 7 (24:20):
Yeah, So I mean like people, people were so stoked
for that, which is very disappointing.
Speaker 4 (24:26):
It was nothing about that. I think it was kind
of like the weirdness of it. Yeah. I think sometimes
the movie can be out deep the audience, and I
think this might have been one of them. I mean,
the budget was two hundred million dollars. They spent it
on WHOA Lady Gaga? It has to be it. Yeah, goodness. Also,
I love this. This is really funny.
Speaker 7 (24:47):
Somebody showed up on Friday, Tim Morgan Wallan's show and
wanted him to sign a chair.
Speaker 4 (24:56):
I mean, he.
Speaker 7 (24:56):
Almost killed a couple of people throwing a chair from
a six stor he roofed on bar. But somebody actually
showed up and asked Morgan to actually autograph a chair,
a folding chair.
Speaker 4 (25:08):
See here's the thing. It depends on your mindset. If
he's in a good mood, he can laugh it off.
He's in a bad mood, he throw him out. Yeah.
Speaker 7 (25:13):
So there's a vide on TikTok TikTok if you want
to see it. It seems like he's like he sees it,
but he ignores it. And somebody claims that Morgan was like, man,
that's funny, but I can't engage with that one. Like, okay,
you know he acknowledged it, but he is like, I
can't really engage in the situation because, yeah.
Speaker 4 (25:29):
If he's having a bad day, how about getting you
getting out of here?
Speaker 7 (25:31):
How about Yeah, so you did take a photo with
the fan who held up a sign saying sold sold
feet picks four tickets, which was really funny. But the
whole chair thing, I'm like, it's actually pretty funny.
Speaker 4 (25:44):
See right there, I would throw in a joke about
what happened to Reese on Friday. If you don't know,
listen to the podcast. But I'm not doing that because, well,
what would the joke have been. I'm not going to say,
somebody breaks some jeans in Oh my God and ask
you to sign them. Listen to the podcast when I
come back. We can talk about weird with True stories
(26:04):
with Brian Grinds on Johnny's House Your friends are and
he deleted a lot, He unfollowed a whole lot of
people because they liked that song seven or nine. It
is Johnny's House. Following Hurricane Milton. Today, mostly cloudy here
in Central Florida, isolated thunderstorms. It's gonna get started getting breezy.
Seventy percent chance of rain only seventy seven is our
(26:25):
high seventy two right now.
Speaker 8 (26:27):
Brian Weird Stories of the Truth, Well, the weird but
true hurricane update. It's got a right more yeah, and
it really is coming right for it. Really, That's why
I didn't play that this morning. Someone message be and said,
why didn't you play that? Well, I mean, it really
is coming right for us. So I saw this over
the weekend and it's kind of sad. The American dream
is pretty much out of reach. They that's how much
it's going to cost you. Now, if you want to
(26:47):
live the American dream, which is generally speaking, owning your home,
you know, pet vacations, getting married, having kids, all that stuff,
four point four million dollars over the course of your
life what it would cost you. So they broke it down.
One point six million is for retirement. That's the biggest chunk.
And I never thought of this. Cars over the course
(27:09):
of your life. Car payment for two people over a lifetime,
not including your gas and your maintenance, eight hundred and
eleven thousand dollars. Oh my god, because it adds up.
You just don't think about it because you always have
a car payment. They have a forty four thousand dollars
set aside for your wedding. I mean, if you have
the dream wedding, your home obviously nine hundred and twenty
nine thousand dollars. When you average in your thirty year
(27:30):
mortgage plus your interest and your twenty percent down, one
pet is going to cost you thirty six thousand dollars
over the course of the pet's life.
Speaker 4 (27:38):
That's true.
Speaker 8 (27:39):
Yearly vacation over the course of your lifetime one hundred
and seventy nine thousand dollars.
Speaker 4 (27:43):
That's taking a trip a year and that's it. Wow.
Speaker 8 (27:46):
And then they your cheapest thing is going to be dying.
Eight thousand dollars for your funeral. It's all it's going
to cost. That is not the American dream. It's just
work hard and you can succeed.
Speaker 4 (27:55):
Yeah, you know, I thought it was just leave the
country and make it over to us.
Speaker 8 (28:00):
Yeah, that so my dad did. Yeah, but you can't
just live in the streets when you get here.
Speaker 3 (28:04):
Now.
Speaker 4 (28:04):
It is to have a good life when you get here.
And that's where this comes. Someone who comes here, you know,
become a citizen, have nothing, work hard, get in an apartment,
work hard, put you know, furniture in it, doing a
whole lot better than where you came from.
Speaker 8 (28:16):
Well, and it has really little. This has nothing to
do with immigration. This is you being born here. The
dream is to own all these things and do all
these things, no matter where you come from.
Speaker 4 (28:25):
Yeah, I just thought, I thought American dream, you can
come here and succeed.
Speaker 8 (28:28):
Now, Well in the American dreams for Americans too, it's
for everybody to have your house to have what to do?
What the typical life is that you see, which is
get married, have kids, all that stuff. Four point four
million dollars.
Speaker 4 (28:39):
What's gonna go?
Speaker 3 (28:39):
There?
Speaker 8 (28:40):
You go, So it's gonna be a little bit of expensive.
Some employees in a museum and the Netherlands a little
bit in trouble. They thought they were doing nice things,
cleaning up. They threw these two beer cans away. Turns
out it was a priceless piece of modern art. It
wasn't trash. Yes, it was part of a big collection
called All the Good Times We Spent Together. So they
(29:00):
threw it away. They thought it was timpty beer cans.
How did they get near some some expensive art?
Speaker 4 (29:07):
Yeah, I don't, I don't know. They haven't like rope something.
I guess.
Speaker 8 (29:10):
The elevator's museum is all glass and these were sitting
on top of a glass thing. It was the elevator
repair man. Thought it was part of trash that was
left behind. People don't appreciate anything. Man who would do that?
Who would do this? So the museum's curator actually noticed
that they were missing and found them in the trash
(29:31):
can because they weren't sent out to the dump yet.
So they were able to clean them up and put
them back. But I'm like, first of all, how's that art?
Speaker 4 (29:38):
Yeah, so if you're gonna make some art like that,
you gotta put a little sound underneath and going this
is art at the bottom. Something has to indicate that
this is art. Yeah.
Speaker 8 (29:49):
So well, the director of the museum said, this is
a testament to how effective the artist's work was. That
they thought it was real life. That's how That's what
it was. It was so good they thought it was real.
I bet the artists hit these fools, thinks this is
real life. I just took a photo from my living
room and brought it over here. Yeah, it wasn't even photo.
Speaker 4 (30:07):
It was just trash. Can it look? I just drank
two beers and I just set the cans here art.
Speaker 8 (30:13):
And I was gonna tell a weird but true story
about a person who might have peed themselves in a
Halloween trail.
Speaker 4 (30:19):
But I ain't gonna do that. Yes, we ain't doing
We ain't doing that, So listen to the podcast. So
I ain't gonna do that. Such a weird story, weird
but true but true. All right, we come back. I
got a question for the room in this storm that
is coming up, I'll ask I'll ask that next on
Johnny's house. Anything that is happening closer to the hurricane,
like tomorrow and Wednesday, we'll be spitting out information on closing.
(30:40):
There's a couple of school closings for us. It is
only gonna be seventy seven today. It's seventy two right now,
and there's a seventy percent chance of rain closer to it.
We'll get to you. And we mentioned a couple of
months ago. It's called Central Florida Together we Can. It's
an initiative that's a part of the Baby DJ program.
Will we together as a community help out those that
are need This year, we decided to help out Saddler
(31:01):
Elementary School and they reached out to me and saying
they're trying to put together a student Hispanic Heritage block party.
Now it's supposed to be this Friday, but because of
the storm, they moved it to Friday, October eighteenth. And
what they're looking for are DJs. They're looking for Hispanic cuisine,
small bites, nothing major, Hispanic beverages and desserts. Now, I'm
looking for one restaurant to cater everything and do everything,
(31:24):
but that's why we do call it Central Florida Together.
We can you add to a list. They have different varieties.
If you can donate your time, your energy. They want
to put on a very good block party for their community.
If you don't know where Satler, Sadler Elementary is off
of Oak Ridge and it has been our goal to
help this school out throughout the year. So if you
can volunteer, if you can donate in any way, go
to Central Florida Together. We can Central Florida togetherwecan dot
(31:47):
com and they'll have a little sign up and tell
you whatever it is that you can help with to
make this block party a success for the school and
they're for their community. Central Floyd Together, wecan dot Com,
DJs cuisine light Bites has beverages and dessert, so we
can make this the biggest block party that they've ever
had at their school. It is Hispanic heritage much and
they want to put on a block party for their community.
(32:08):
All right. As when in the midst of talking about
a hurricane off air, we're talking about, you know, information
that we have and things that we're getting so far.
What we do know is coming up. It's gonna be
Wednesday night Thursday is when we're going to get the
most of it. There will be no matter where direction
is going to go in because right now it's a
little further out we will here in Central Florida. We're
(32:29):
gonna have power outage, We're gonna have flooding. The works's
gonna get from the rain.
Speaker 3 (32:33):
Again.
Speaker 4 (32:33):
It's gonna be Wednesday night Thursday morning, six to fifteen
inches of rain. Of course, possible tornadoes and power outages
is going to occur because it's going to happen whenever
you get wind and rain and stuff like that. If
you live in an area that's gonna flood or normally floods,
then expect that to happen. They have sandbag locations that
are set up all over central Florida. And where you
had a question for us, and that's what on the
(32:55):
scale of one to ten, how prepared we yes, all right,
we'll start off with you, how prepare to get I
think I'm still out a three? Really.
Speaker 7 (33:02):
I mean when we asked this question a couple of
weeks ago for Helene, I was about at a three
or four and I'm still there.
Speaker 4 (33:09):
Okay, panic wise, on the scale of one to ten.
Speaker 7 (33:11):
I am probably at a seven, about a seven, yes, yeah,
but you got time. You got time just because I
was telling you earlier like all of the spaghetti models
go through Orlando, like all of them, and I don't
remember the last time I saw that, maybe two thousand
and four when all of those hurricanes hit us.
Speaker 3 (33:30):
Uh.
Speaker 7 (33:30):
And it's like, I have twins that are in school,
and school's most likely going to be closed.
Speaker 4 (33:35):
And you can expect some school closing this week for sure.
Speaker 7 (33:39):
Yeah, and my ex wife is a first responder, so
she's got to work, so I got to figure out
the kids. And it's just like, you know, it's kind
of like up in the air because until we know
the school closures in exactly where it's going.
Speaker 4 (33:49):
To go, I'm be getting those messages. I think we'll
get some type of closure on one to somewhere today. Yeah,
you know, so I'm about a seven eight, Okay, prepared
wise preparedness. The kid came over yesterday, my son. He goes,
can I talk to you a second? Yeah? I thought
I was gonna have that father and son talk. There's
something's happening in my right He goes, are we prepared?
(34:13):
And I was prepared for what the specific son the storm. Well, yeah,
we got a weather radar, radio, we got food. We
have gas so if the power goes out, was still
gonna eat. We got water, We got pretty much everything
we need, so we're good. I said, yeah, but you
ain't gotta worried about that, because if it's a hurricane,
I'm gonna be a work. You're gona bet you grandmother,
(34:33):
So you need to need to call over. That's that's
what you need. He did. Excuse me a second. So prepared,
I'm at about a five or six a panic wise,
I'm at about a seven too, because uh, I know
we're gonna get something like always.
Speaker 8 (34:48):
You just don't know what, Brian, what about you? I'm
probably rolling at about a three on both both. I'm
very unconcerned about this whole thing because I'm never concerned
about it because I mean, I've lived through my entire
life and whatever's going to happen is gonna happen. There's
no reason for me to stress about it. Yeah, we
our preparedness is to find a place to stay if
our power goes out, which we've already done so like
(35:10):
we've got some short term stuff, water, batteries that we
always have.
Speaker 4 (35:13):
Yeah, but I'm not really all that worried about it.
Speaker 8 (35:15):
I mean our house is new, so like I can't
do anything to make it any more secure.
Speaker 3 (35:20):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (35:20):
I mean I cleaned up the backyard to make sure
that everything don't blow away. Yeah, I mean that's really
all I could do. We don't have a storm search here.
I'm not on the water. I'm kind of high elevation. Yeah,
so I'm not really worried about that. Like, obviously tornadoes
you can't plan for. So yeah, you know, I mean
I'm the best that I can be.
Speaker 3 (35:35):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (35:35):
Yeah, the reas time about you.
Speaker 9 (35:37):
I think I'm a five across both, okay, yeah, preparedness
and panic ones.
Speaker 4 (35:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 9 (35:41):
Like yesterday I went to Walmart to go get some supplies.
I want to go get water, and like it really
kind of think they have nothing. I had to get
sparkling water as my form of substitution, but like I
have my water filter, so I'm gonna like fill up
my jugs on my own.
Speaker 4 (35:54):
So I am writing in my own way. If you're
had about about eight thirty this morning, I'm gonna find
out if there's any shortages and where we can find stuff.
Speaker 9 (36:00):
So yeah, and I got a lot of cands good,
so I'm not worried about like food supplies and things
like this.
Speaker 4 (36:04):
I got batteries and stuff.
Speaker 9 (36:05):
But like when I walked around and I saw empty shelves,
I was like, oh, this is it's hitting me. So
the worrying has started to sink in. And that's when
I started asking myself even like should I get sandbags.
I'm on the second floor of my apartment, so like,
flooding isn't truly a concern, but I'm not going to
not be worried about it.
Speaker 4 (36:20):
I lived in a high rise downtown and what would
happen is that the water would come through, but the
wind would blow it in directions where it normally wouldn't go.
And uh, I was like, wait a minute, is that
water by my door? That kind of thing. And also, y'all,
if they don't have any candles, you can get the
camera or the candles with the Virgin Mary people stay away.
(36:41):
That's so funny. You want Jesus with you?
Speaker 8 (36:44):
All right, there's no candles, and they don't even really
recommend candles anyway, like anymore because it's the fire hazard. Yeah, yeah,
get yourself a flashlight, dude, like Amazon will deliver you
a nice led lamp, yeap, and no time.
Speaker 4 (36:58):
Now, don't don't. Don't I ask on Wednesday for them
to deliver you. No, do it today today? Right, yeah,
get yourself prepared, all right, all right, what we're gonna
do is we're gonna talk about if you've lived through
a storm, you know, og here in Florida, some advice
you can give the newbies that are coming here. We're
gonna see we can help each other out right here
on John the Weather, they say the worst part of
this hurricane Hurricane Milton, would be Wednesday night Thursday. Expect
(37:21):
seventy to ninety mile an hour winds, flooding rains, and
the track is tracking close to central Florida. But today, no,
he didn't, dext y'all ain't no he did. The next
day it's gonna be seventy seven. It is seventy two
right now, any seventy percent chance of rain. So, Brian,
you wanted the OG's out there to help out the newbies.
Speaker 8 (37:39):
Well, I've been here a long time, so like I
have some people in my neighborhood who are new Okay,
And so they posted on the neighborhood facebook page that
like they don't know what to do, like freaking out. Yeah, yes,
they've never been through a real hurricane anymore, and even
this past one like didn't hit us, so they're like
they don't know what to do. So everyone's given like
people like myself that have been here a long time. Yeah,
kind of just throwing advice, you know, what to expect
(37:59):
them and what to do, because I think there's a
lot of people in town that have never been through
a real hurricane. Because this is going to be the
closest thing we've been to in a while because it's
coming at us.
Speaker 4 (38:07):
Yep, yep, yep. So what would your advice be og
for the new bees, I.
Speaker 8 (38:11):
Told all of them that the big thing you have
to remember where we are is to secure anything in
your yard. Like that's kind of the because they have
Halloween decorations out Yeah, yeah, I know. Unfortunately you just
put them out there and you like them a lot,
but you need to go take them down and bring
them inside because they'll fly across the yard. Especially because
wind is one of our big things that we're going
to get here, yeah, for sure.
Speaker 4 (38:30):
And where we live, we're kind of up on a hill.
Speaker 8 (38:31):
So yeah, that was my big thing for people is
that's all you can really really do for us is
make sure that you have nothing that's gonna fly into
someone's window.
Speaker 4 (38:40):
If you're new to a neighborhood, it's a good time
to say hello to your neighbors and say, hey, we
got this hurricane coming. What normally happens in this neighborhood.
If you've never been, If you've never been, if you knew,
is there going to be some street flooding? Do you
know who used to live in this house before me?
If it's not a new house, was there any you know,
find out as much as you can about what's gonna
happen because we're gona get a lot of rain and
(39:00):
a lot of wind. Look around your house and see
if there's some trees that are unstable, because those are
the ones you know. And of course make sure you
got gashing car.
Speaker 8 (39:09):
Everyone's doing that because the lines are long and so
like over where we live on the one side, that's
the tourist side.
Speaker 4 (39:14):
That side, a lot of their gas pumps are empty.
Real yeah. Yeah, And my thing is also if you can, like, okay,
we go to we go to work in the middle
of night. But ain't nobody to the gas days in
the middle of night. Right, I feel my car, there's
nobody there. You know, you might want to stagger it
and wait a little bit to get the gas because
I have I haven't heard anything about gas shortages. Yeah,
uh right from O G. What you got for.
Speaker 7 (39:36):
The one thing that I always forget about is cash. Yeah,
it's nice to have cash because if there are outages,
you can't use your credit card or sometimes the systems
go down and all that stuff. So having cash is
one thing that A said, get some can yeah, yeah,
And then obviously like the essentials. But did they say
something about not boarding up your windows or you shouldn't board.
Speaker 4 (39:57):
Up here boarding up windows.
Speaker 7 (40:00):
I saw a news article posted this morning that you
shouldn't board up your windows and I was like.
Speaker 4 (40:04):
Well, what you should not do? And this was that
last hurricane. Do not get duct tape? Oh my god,
put a big X. Yeah glass window, you should totally,
especially if you're live in an apartment. The glue from it,
you gotta get that what shoe glue or whatever. It
doesn't come on and they said it doesn't really work,
it doesn't do any it doesn't do anything, so do
(40:25):
not do not, do not do that. But the cash
is one thing that I always forget about. Now you're
kind of new to air, but you're not new to Florida,
so oh yeah, yeah, I'm not new to hurricanes at all.
Speaker 9 (40:34):
Ye yeah, We've we've faced some serious ones where we
lost powers for days, And the first thing that I
think of is like making sure that you have the
supplies to like, God forbid we lose power for x
amount of days, how are you going to cook your food?
Speaker 3 (40:45):
Like?
Speaker 9 (40:46):
You know, my mom she always had like those tins
ready with the fire stuff you can do under can openers.
You know, you don't think about these things. Make sure
you have one, and then also make sure everything's charged.
That's my first thing.
Speaker 4 (40:58):
Yeah, yeah, that's gonna be always. See here, let's go
from to one of springs Christina.
Speaker 12 (41:01):
Good morning, Hey, good morning.
Speaker 4 (41:04):
I oh g, what you got what tip for you
got for them new ones about to deal with a storm.
Speaker 13 (41:08):
So definitely the first one is to tell them to breathe,
It'll be okay. The second would be to like fill
your bathtub up with water. Now, during the one of
the previous hurricanes, there was no water pressure to flush toilets,
so having that water in your bathtub you could use it.
Another one is filling your like tup awares and containers
(41:32):
with water and sticking them in your freezer. Yeah, the
power does go out, it kind of keep everything cold
in your fridge.
Speaker 14 (41:40):
Those are I mean there's tons of them.
Speaker 13 (41:42):
But take photos of your you know, important things or
videos of what's in your house is also another good one.
Speaker 5 (41:50):
Yeah.
Speaker 13 (41:51):
I endured Charlie Francis and Jean So two thousand and four.
Speaker 4 (41:53):
Yep, no joke, no joke. And once you've gone through one,
you kind of know the basic things that you're going
to need. I mean, the listen, they have a pretty extent.
I mean, if you want to be perfect. We had
a guy that called in was the last week he
had everything, had this house, videotape, had his important documents
in the bag, all of that, and he had all
of that. But for the most part, you just want
to try to survive for a couple of days until
(42:14):
the people can figure everything out. That's a good one,
all right. Four O seven now one nine one on
six seven eight seven seven now one nine one on
six seven x el Mobile four one oh sixty seven
live stream social media. We're gonna put it out there.
If you're an og, you know storms, you know the hurricane,
you know all this stuff. What's some advice you can
give some of those newbies that are here. It's us
helping each other out as we get through this hurricane. Milton,
(42:37):
help us out with that advice that you have. Four
o seven now one nine one on six seven eight
seven seven now one nine one on six seven. We'll
hear from you in a couple of minutes right here
on Johnny's house. This is Johnny's house. TIS slated thunderstorm
seventy percent chance of rain, high of seventy seven. It
is seventy two right now. We're trying to get those ogs.
You lived in Florida for a while. Some advice you
(42:58):
can deal tell some new people that are dealing with
a hurricane for the very first time. Another one not
even the hurricane. If you ever have a power outage
and you are cooking, first thing you do so you
do not forget, is to turn the stove off, because
what happens is you may leave the house, the power
comes back on, the stove's coming back on. So if
you have something cooking, it's going to burn and can
possibly start a fire. So if the power goes off
(43:21):
and you're cooking, immediately first start turn off that stove
because once the light comes back on, everything's going back
to where it was before the storm. Let's go to
from Orlando, Danny, Danny, good morning, Good morning.
Speaker 5 (43:34):
I just wanted to give a good tip for all
the northern people who came down and are watching this
going They have no clue what to do. Okay, prepare
is so this is a really bad blizzard. This is
a blizzard without all the ice and snow. Instead it's
just brained.
Speaker 12 (43:50):
Okay, care like that, You're good.
Speaker 4 (43:52):
I like the way you broke that down because a
lot of people are used to dealing with blizzards up north.
But you're saying it's the same thing, but it's cold,
it won't be cold, and you can't have a lot
of rain.
Speaker 5 (44:02):
Yeah. I grew up in northern Minnesota. If you prepare,
like the uh lizard that came through in nineteen ninety,
we had five and a half feet is still in
like two days. Prepare for that and you're good.
Speaker 4 (44:14):
Yamn five f that's a lot of preparing. Five feet.
Speaker 5 (44:19):
Wow, yeah, it was a Halloween storm of nineteen ninety.
We had five feet in about two and a half days. No,
I can say Halloween night.
Speaker 4 (44:28):
You have some flashbacks right now, I could tell it's okay,
it's okay, all right, yep, goo ahead. Thanks, all right,
thank you for sharing that. Appreciate you. Right, you're gonna
say old no, no, no no from Orlando, missy, good morning.
Speaker 11 (44:42):
Good morning.
Speaker 4 (44:43):
All right, what's some fuck that I went.
Speaker 12 (44:46):
On the cruise last year or so?
Speaker 4 (44:47):
Yeah, your first time calling? But you went on the cruise?
Speaker 12 (44:51):
Yes, for my husband, it was his bucket listen.
Speaker 4 (44:53):
Well, very good, very good. Well, you need a first
time calling number, and the reason got a number for her.
It is forty one sixty eight. See what's your number?
Speaker 12 (45:02):
Sixty eight?
Speaker 4 (45:02):
Welcome to Johnny's house. All right, what do you want?
What do you want to say? What's some og tips?
Speaker 12 (45:07):
I actually have multiples, but this is probably the best one.
Speaker 14 (45:10):
You go to Dollar Tree and.
Speaker 12 (45:11):
You buy whatever lights that they have, and if the
power goes off, like you just said, make sure your
fan is off first, and then.
Speaker 5 (45:18):
You put one light on each fan blade.
Speaker 12 (45:21):
And illuminate the entire house. So it's almost like you
have light.
Speaker 4 (45:25):
That's smart. Say what when you're hanging your lights? Yeah,
fan blades? Oh god, okay, yeah, you know, Brian, you
know I'm thinking about the box. Oh yeah, well some
old ghetto stuff. I was always getta.
Speaker 8 (45:46):
I'm like, what, no, I mean, if it gets hot
and you lose your power, you get a box van
and put a little thing of water in front of it.
Speaker 4 (45:54):
That's right, that's right, all right, missy, thank thank you
for that. I was like, okay, I'm not seeing the
same thing from Mary Elizabeth. Good morning, good morning. All right,
what's some tips you got?
Speaker 3 (46:08):
All right?
Speaker 15 (46:09):
So, my dad always had the like emergency radios thing
that never needed to be like plugged in or anything.
Speaker 8 (46:21):
I think it's called an it's noah yeah, yeah, noah, Noah.
Speaker 4 (46:26):
Emergency weather radar.
Speaker 12 (46:29):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (46:29):
Yes.
Speaker 15 (46:30):
We always had one of those.
Speaker 2 (46:31):
On.
Speaker 15 (46:32):
Used to scare the crap out of us. Just sit
on the couch and they would just start beeping.
Speaker 12 (46:36):
Stories and you're like, oh my god, yep, yep, yeah.
Speaker 15 (46:40):
I'm born and raised in Florida. Please, for the love
of God, do not go outside in the storm to
try to get that cool shot of a tree falling over.
That tree will be on.
Speaker 4 (46:50):
You see that's good because people my age don't do that.
But how old are you, Elizabeth, I'm thirty. Thirty is
good because there's people outside. Hold on, I gotta get
this shot, right, I gotta go ahead and do a
TikTok dame the influencers of course, Yes, yes, this is
going to be huge.
Speaker 9 (47:05):
You guys ever saw that one video of the guy
in the middle of the storm, like waving his head
around with his hair holding the American flag?
Speaker 4 (47:09):
Oh yeah, blewing hard. We had to pay the five
fars and I told you all two girls doing a
TikTok video.
Speaker 8 (47:16):
Yeah, when we see it all the time. We watched
the live cams in here and they're stdiots on the
sea wall.
Speaker 4 (47:21):
Give me a picture. Wow, Leave it.
Speaker 15 (47:24):
To the news station. They'll get those cool shots that
you want to get this.
Speaker 4 (47:27):
But thanks for sharing that tip. We appreciate you. And
viral baby, Yeah, I'm trying to go viral right what
they shot?
Speaker 7 (47:32):
Somebody said that you should shut all the doors in
your house. Have you ever heard of that?
Speaker 4 (47:38):
Normally close? Yeah?
Speaker 12 (47:39):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (47:39):
The high winds place homes under intense pressure, they said,
and the wind entering their home through an open or
broken window can create strong upward pressure on the roof.
So they said to close all the doors in your house.
Speaker 4 (47:51):
Mine and normally closed.
Speaker 7 (47:52):
Yeah, yeah, this is a good one. Freeze a cup
of water, then put a coin on top of it.
If you lose power, you can tell how defrosted you
your freezer got by how low the penny drops for
a brilliant Yeah. Wow, I'm like that's great. So it
determines whether you should throw the food away or something.
Speaker 4 (48:09):
So I don't want to know that I'm cooking up anyway.
I don't want to know.
Speaker 8 (48:14):
Brian xl mobile powered by Attorney Dan Newlin interrect you
need to check its in no brain or called Attorney
Dan Newlan. So one said, do all of your laundry
so everything's clean, just in case you lose power for
a few days. You have to worry about that. Shower,
wash your hair, all that stuff. The night before that,
we have to worry about that. And then someone said, ziplock
bags full of water are good too because they take
up less space. So you can fill those up and
put them in there and use them as ice, and
(48:34):
then when they melt you can use them as water
if you need it.
Speaker 4 (48:36):
And here's another thing. If the power goes out, this
is very important. Do not open your refrigerator or freezer.
Do not open it. As soon as you open it,
cold air is coming out. Yeah. So if you know
that the powers out, as much as you want to
get that whatever's in there any quick because you're letting
that cold air out. Okay, hopefully we get it. We'll
have more tips as we were closer to the storm,
(48:58):
Miss Ray, what's going on? We have a date for
Didy when he's going back to This is the weekend. Hey,
it's Olivia Rodrigo, Johnny's House Mornings, Orlando's number one hit
music station all day Now.
Speaker 6 (49:11):
Orlando Now, The Johnny's House Entertainment News with Ray.
Speaker 4 (49:17):
Diddy's mom has spoken.
Speaker 5 (49:20):
No.
Speaker 7 (49:20):
She finally wighed in on everything that's going on with Diddy,
and she was saying that he might not have been
completely honest with the Cassie situation, but that doesn't automatically
make him guilty of all these allegations. She said that,
saying that the judge and everybody should not have uh
(49:41):
turned the narrative or created all of these lies and
all that. You know, she's just expressing her devastation of
what's coming out of her son. But it looks like
he is going to court on October ninth, So in
two days he is going to be back in court.
So she's stressing that her son is not the that
they have painted him out to be. But yeah, so
(50:03):
sex trafficking, racketeering, and other serious crimes is what he's
still up for.
Speaker 4 (50:07):
Question for you, you know, you know, like, did he's
kind of close to his mom? Yeah, we're both close
to our moms. We ain't doing no freaky stuff. Right.
Do you think she really believes that he ain't doing
any those things?
Speaker 3 (50:19):
No?
Speaker 4 (50:20):
I think she knows.
Speaker 8 (50:21):
You think she knows that she just don't want to. Yes,
at this point, I think you got it. Like, I don't, like,
she's not wrong. I don't think he's guilty because of
the Cassie video. I think he's guilty because of the
mountains of other evidence that's been thrown around. Absolutely, he's
a jackass because of the Cassie video. But he's guilty
because of all the other stuff. And so she's not lying.
The casts video doesn't make him guilty.
Speaker 7 (50:40):
Yeah, it's true, But I mean, like the Castie video
is very disturbing and it's surely a type.
Speaker 4 (50:45):
Of human he can that makes him guilty of that.
Speaker 8 (50:47):
Yeah, it's all of these other things that have been
coming out that make him guilty.
Speaker 4 (50:51):
Yeah, but do you want to come out and say,
my son, who I've loved all these years up until
two weeks ago, is a bad human?
Speaker 5 (50:56):
Now?
Speaker 8 (50:57):
My mom would say, no comment. She just wouldn't comment
on him. That's not the Brian I know, and not
to be as far as it goes for mom.
Speaker 4 (51:04):
That came out with a face. Y'all need to find
Jesus all y'all, that's a good answer. And then Gail
Pasco Brownel to say, wait a minute, wait a minute,
wait a minute, now we love her.
Speaker 7 (51:15):
Young Miami found herself in a little situation.
Speaker 4 (51:18):
Too, because she's trying to fake that she was that
man's girlfriend.
Speaker 8 (51:21):
Yes, he had a baby with someone else they were dating,
and she's like, I don't care about that.
Speaker 2 (51:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (51:27):
So she was in Atlanta.
Speaker 7 (51:28):
She was at some like nightclub on Friday night, and
there was a TikToker that actually came up to her
and was asking her to sign some like autographs and
all that stuff, and they whipped out a bottle of baby.
Speaker 4 (51:38):
Oil and asked her to sign it.
Speaker 7 (51:41):
So she like rolled up the window and like went
on with her nights and then like you can see
the dude outside being like what you know, Like I
just wanted her to autograph my my bottle of baby oil.
Speaker 4 (51:50):
Yeah. But you know, she's opened up about her relationship
with Diddy, like she said it was fake.
Speaker 7 (51:56):
Well, she said that he never got physical with her
when they date, unlike Cassie. She also mentioned that the
relationship was mutually beneficial, boosting both of their careers.
Speaker 4 (52:05):
So that's what it was. It was for that because
he remember she had him on her show. Yeah, and
she wanted him to meet that I'm your girlfriend, right,
you know they were both laughing, but all of a sudden,
now he freaking nasty.
Speaker 7 (52:17):
Yeah, that relationship didn't happen. Also, I mean the heavy topic.
Did you see Saturday Night Live went all in on Ditty?
Speaker 4 (52:24):
Did you really Saturday Night?
Speaker 3 (52:25):
Yes?
Speaker 8 (52:26):
I saw all the political stuff, which was really fun,
but I didn't see that Diddy one.
Speaker 7 (52:29):
During their weekend Update segment, it was they were talking
about a picture, you know, while they're doing their weekend update.
It was with Ditty and it said it was reported
that the US added two hundred and forty five thousand
new jobs. Unfortunately, they were all Ditty accusers and so
like they just went in and so they just kept going,
just saying. It was announced that Sean P. Ditty comb
(52:50):
sex trafficking case has been assigned to a new judge,
one that Diddy hopes is cool with rapes and so yeah,
when I talked when I'm telling you, and they also
brought up how Prince Harry was invited and Prince William
was invited to the parties but they didn't go, but
Prince Andrew was there, and I'm like, oh, so if
you want to check that out there, like we need
(53:11):
to make some moves.
Speaker 8 (53:12):
Yeah, they're taking shots at everybody too, like usually they
kind of stay one way.
Speaker 7 (53:17):
But now, yeah, since we are talking about the hurricane
Milton who is on his way. Dolly Parton was talking
about how she's donating a million dollars to Tennessee. So
you see more and more celebrities that are stepping forward
who you know their home state is Tennessee. But she said,
from my own bank account, this is my home. So
(53:37):
she did a news conference and she did it outside
of a Walmart In Tennessee, and she was like, listen,
God has been good to me, and so publicly she
just donated a million dollars.
Speaker 4 (53:47):
So yeah, and I'm just glad he's not going to
the route as the other one because North Carolina, Tennessee,
anyone they can't handle, that cannot handle any more of
the stuff that we're about to get here in a
couple of days. Yeah, all right, we come back. We've
got question about you and the last storm that came through.
We'll ask that question next. On Johnny's soon upgrade on
Hurricane Milton. It is now a Cat three Category three
(54:09):
that is heading our way. We'll start feeling some of
the effects of the rain Wednesday night Thursday. There's gonna
be power outage, it's gonna be flooding in areas that
normally get it, possible tornadoes. But we'll start feeling the
effects Wednesday night up until Thursday morning. And I guess
our question to you is who's still dealing with recovering
from the last hurricane. And I can say I am. Saturday,
(54:31):
they were supposed to come over and repair one, two, three, four,
five panels in my enclosed pool, and then I looked around,
and that was a sixth So like even we might
want to wait because I got a feeling there's a
couple more ready to come through. So it made no
sense for them to come out and fix it and
then have to come back again. I mean, I mean,
if you're in a pool screening business, business is good
(54:53):
because a lot of people is going out. I'm dealing
with that. Other than that, I'm good. Were you good?
Speaker 7 (54:58):
I just feel bad for the people that's like Tampa
Charger Island.
Speaker 4 (55:02):
Oh yeah, me have I yeah, did everything major happen.
Speaker 8 (55:05):
I had to just go pick up things in the
backyard and stuff, which I did, So now I'm gonna
go put it all away so it doesn't happen again.
Speaker 4 (55:11):
Yeah, I got to put cushions away. I didn't do
I didn't do it last time, and it's a it's
a mess. So for my sake of my neighbors, I'm
go ahead and put them cushions away because it's a
it's an iceore because I don't go out there immediately
and put them back.
Speaker 14 (55:23):
Uh.
Speaker 9 (55:24):
I mean my back patio, like the wind pushed a
few furnitures around, so I'm I mean, that was just
not even like hitting us directly, So this is going
to do some little bit damage.
Speaker 4 (55:34):
So I really got to take care of that at least. Yeah,
it's gonna be some life threatening storm surges, damaging wind,
heavy rainfall, flooding, mainly to the coastal area we'll be seeing,
they said, Central Florida will start seeing damaging winds, heavy rainfall,
and flooding. And so, if you're still dealing with the
effects of the last storm, what are you still dealing with?
(55:55):
And some of you who are listening from Tampa, we
want to hear from you that somebody I don't want
to call because he was who used to be on
our show. I got to see how he was doing
because he was sweeping out the water from the last
storm in his house. Four oh seven nine one nine
one o six seven eight seven seven nine one nine
one on six seven. If you're still dealing with from
damage or anything any wind related stuff from the last storm,
(56:16):
if you're still dealing with that one, and we have
another one coming our way in a couple of days,
what are you prepared to do and how are you
preparing for that? Four oh seven now one nine one
o six seven eight seven seven now one nine one
O six seven. You can always text. We'll always rediit.
The XL mobile is four one O six seven. Text
us and we'll respond back to you. Uh So, if
you're watching us on the last stream, you want to
hear your comments and we'll throw it up on social
(56:36):
media too. All right, you just pass one storm. We
got another one that is on the way. Are you
still clean up the mess from the other one? You
still have sandbags? What are you doing? We want to
hear from you. Four oh seven now one nine one
o six seven eight seven seven nine one nine one
o six seven call us when we'll hear from you
next on Johnny's house, say twenty two. It is Johnny's house.
We are watching Hurricane Norman, I mean Hurricane Milton as
(56:59):
it rolled roll up through here on Wednesday. Get yourself prepared.
You got time to get prepared. Seventy seventy to the
high seventy two. Right now, we want to find out
if you're still recovering from the last storm that is
going through. Calling us from Saint Pete Christain, good morning.
Speaker 13 (57:15):
Good morning.
Speaker 4 (57:16):
How you guys over there. You know it's coming back.
You're gonna you're gonna start feeling some of the effects
from it. How you feel right now, Yeah, I.
Speaker 16 (57:22):
Mean super nervous. The last storm, we just had three
feet of water in the home, so it just took
out four feet of dry wall and it all just dried.
So very nervous for what's to come if it does
hit directly. That's a whole nother insurance plane, a whole
another drying process, all of our everyone's lives there on
the street. So the debris that's going to be flying
(57:44):
through people. Yeah, right, yeah, very very nerve racky. I'm
going back. I'm actually in Orlando now. I'm going back
to Saint Pete tomorrow to board up my front windows
because well.
Speaker 4 (57:55):
You know what, here's one thing. Once it starts raining,
a lot of that stuff is gonna get weighed down
by the water and so I hope so you know,
it won't have that same effect if it was dry
and the wind picked it up. It'll be waited by
the water because you're gonna get lot of that first.
Speaker 2 (58:12):
Yeah.
Speaker 16 (58:12):
But I mean there's just so much like people didn't
have dumpsters for the dry wall that was taken out,
so just the dry was just sitting on top of
other frontiture. There's just a lot of different stuff like
shoes and clothes and rods, and I mean you can't
see anything. You can imagine vacuum cleaners. They're all just
sitting on the streets.
Speaker 4 (58:30):
So wow, Now, how was it? How was it working
with the insurance companies.
Speaker 16 (58:36):
I haven't got any money yet. You have to pull
you have to. Luckily, in Saint Pete you have to
have flood inshirts if you're in a flood zone, so
that is a blessing. I had to pay out a
pocket for my remediation, which is taking down the drywall
and starting to dry the process. And that's about twenty
thousand dollars. Yeah, so just waiting for insurance, stilly, staying
(58:59):
in advance, get some money back.
Speaker 4 (59:02):
Yeah yeah, wow yeah, Okay, well what we We'll hang
in there and uh it sounds like you get you're
getting prepared, be safe.
Speaker 5 (59:11):
I am.
Speaker 4 (59:11):
Yeah, thank you, thank you, Christen. Thousand dollars. I'll be
there with a hair dryer. Yeah, seriously, you're gonna find
out who my friends are. I do have one of
those orange blower Yeah, I do have one from Orlando
JP JP, Good.
Speaker 3 (59:25):
Morning, Good morning, Johnny Man.
Speaker 4 (59:28):
Are you sir, JP, I'm doing great.
Speaker 3 (59:30):
How are you?
Speaker 5 (59:32):
Man?
Speaker 4 (59:33):
You know I got a rule, JP, you cannot call
the show if your voice is deepen in mind.
Speaker 3 (59:38):
Oh my bad man.
Speaker 8 (59:39):
No, no, no, alright, great, raise it up an octavity.
Speaker 3 (59:47):
Raise it up, doctor. Yeah, okay, I.
Speaker 4 (59:49):
Don't think you can. All right, So what do you
what are you? What are you dealing with?
Speaker 3 (59:52):
Man?
Speaker 2 (59:53):
Man?
Speaker 3 (59:54):
Water has got to be the most destructive force on
the planet. Yeah, it's stuff aware, it's down, granted, Yeah, yeah,
still dealing with the after effect of the flood mold
remediation that takes a bit of the time. I'll tell
you where I could have saved myself a little bit.
And this is the tip I wanted to give your
listeners this morning, especially a little bit for our golden
age citizens that live here in the state. Spend some
(01:00:16):
time online. Great company, hamerk to Schlammer. They have what
they call sandlafs water barriers. They're called flood dams, so
they store you can reuse them. They work every year
and they are activated by the water, so you don't
have to fill, you know, a bunch of sandbags your back.
(01:00:38):
You know. For some people that can't get there, maybe
they don't have the vehicle in order of it. You
lay it down and it actually has the polymer inside
of it that'll soak up all the water and create
a water type barrier. And you can stack them and
so instead of having to go and get the sandbag
and deal with all that weight, let the water do
the work for you. Just lay it out of its
orbs so you can get these things that you know,
(01:01:00):
a two foot if you need to last thing though,
this is really for our inland folks. It's not really
meant for use for salt water. So fresh water. Oh
it works perfect, Oh wow, Hammertons Schlammer. It is a
standless water bags, especially for folks a little bit JP.
Speaker 4 (01:01:18):
JP. If you work for this company, were gonna have
a problem.
Speaker 3 (01:01:21):
No, man, actually I don't, Johnny, believe it or not.
I was telling your associate. I came back home from
living in the at I grew up here in Orlando.
I came back after twenty years, heard your voice. I'm like, man,
I'm home.
Speaker 4 (01:01:34):
I've been right here, same microphone. And you go travel
the world and you come back. I'm still here, just
a new cast around me, but I'm still here.
Speaker 3 (01:01:42):
Man. Well I'm want to let you know. So since October,
you guys forever ruined pumpkin spies for me. I'm gonna
tell you a little story. I don't know if you
can go on the way back for about fifteen seconds.
But back in the day when I was a linebacker
at Lineman High School, I came in on a contest morning,
early morning. Okay, concert tickets. So y'all made me eat
about ten frozen raw pumpkin pies to win these tickets.
Speaker 4 (01:02:06):
That's where you have fun in radio. You want these pies,
big football players, eat these pies.
Speaker 3 (01:02:13):
I was pooping pumpkin for a week.
Speaker 4 (01:02:17):
Did you win?
Speaker 3 (01:02:18):
Oh? He yo, boll Man, you make sure I walked
out of there.
Speaker 4 (01:02:21):
With the tickets. We can't do that now in trouble. Hey, well,
welcome home, man. I'm glad you're back, and I'm glad
you listening. Next time we're out some where, you need
to come by and.
Speaker 3 (01:02:31):
Say hi, I'll definitely do that, all right, Johnny, y'all
take care of you there, and thank you.
Speaker 4 (01:02:36):
Thank you for calling. Yeah, that's how you do that. Boy. Hey,
you want these tickets, eat these pies. We ain't had
to sign out on nothing. Yeah, right, that now from
consent me Jason, good morning.
Speaker 3 (01:02:48):
Hey, good morning.
Speaker 14 (01:02:49):
How everybody doing today?
Speaker 4 (01:02:50):
Everybody's good man? What are you still dealing with?
Speaker 14 (01:02:54):
As far as the hurricane goes to Helene, not as
bad as some of the other callers, but definitely in
some water in the garage, so we had to throw
away some of the possessions.
Speaker 3 (01:03:04):
That we have.
Speaker 14 (01:03:06):
So I wasn't as prepared. I mean, I've been here
in Florida for a long time, so I've been through
like Charlie and some of the other hurricanes.
Speaker 12 (01:03:12):
But as I wasn't really.
Speaker 14 (01:03:14):
Prepared or expecting a big storm. But we got some flooding,
so I made sure this time I had more sandbags.
I actually boarded up the windows in my mom's house yesterday.
We were doing that all day and then actually right now,
I'm actually at the airport. I work for mcl the
pavement and ground crew, so I've been riding around all day,
you know, checking storm drains. We've been playing poms barricades,
(01:03:37):
trying to get that prepared. I'll definitely say if anybody's
trying to leave, they should probably leave by maybe the
latest Tuesday, because they're probably going to shut down some
of the flights Wednesday or they're going to be delayed.
So that's all I can pretty much recommend.
Speaker 4 (01:03:51):
All right, well that's some good advice.
Speaker 17 (01:03:53):
Man.
Speaker 4 (01:03:53):
Thanks for sharing that information. We appreciate you. All right,
all right, take care, Brian want to saying over there,
let's see Xcel move power by Attorney day a new
Lin interrec need to check it. So no, we're in
the call attorney Dan Newland.
Speaker 8 (01:04:03):
So one said they're still dealing with roof damage that
they couldn't get fixed and that they need a new roof.
Speaker 4 (01:04:07):
But well, we've never had one just pop up out
of the blue like this, Like a Friday was like, oh,
we're gonna get some rain next week. Now today we're like,
right now is a Category three hurricane.
Speaker 8 (01:04:17):
And then someone said JP's voice is sexy, so they
forgot what we were talking about.
Speaker 4 (01:04:21):
Oh wow, his voice was very deep stuff like that,
And I don't know.
Speaker 8 (01:04:29):
I couldn't find the company he was talking about. But
they do sell this stuff. It's called quick dam and
they have that at any store. Amazon's got it.
Speaker 4 (01:04:36):
They got it down in the water.
Speaker 8 (01:04:39):
Well they're like they're like they look like little matt
like long like barricade I guess they the water activated.
Speaker 4 (01:04:45):
It looks like that I found it. Yeah, so once
it drives out, they flatting back out again. Yeah, you
can reuse it.
Speaker 9 (01:04:51):
So literally, if you look up sandless sand bags, it's
called quick Damn that's the name.
Speaker 4 (01:04:56):
That's the name of the product. They have it.
Speaker 8 (01:04:57):
They have it on Amazon and you can have it
actually delivered before where the hurricane gets here.
Speaker 4 (01:05:00):
Well to look until your host today.
Speaker 8 (01:05:03):
So yeah, thank you.
Speaker 4 (01:05:05):
You don't sound like him at all. I sound like him.
I mean yes, I do, absolutely, I do. Stop playing
to stretch, and it's a stretch. You guys are so
non supportive, right, you sound just like him? No, no,
I don't thank you. All right, we've heard some news
(01:05:27):
and that's the things that are shortages out there. We
don't need to talk about it on Johnny's House. Then
start to grow right now to the category three and
it will be hitting our coast here in central Florida,
as they say, it'll be Wednesday night Thursday. It's gonna
be a lot of rain here in Central Florida. Possibility
of tornadoes, power outages. If you're living in an area
that normally floods, be prepared for that. And worst of
(01:05:51):
all is gonna be a lot of rain and a
lot of wind, and people are the good thing about it,
the governor. One thing about the census is if there's
a storm, he's stepping up. He's gonna tell you this
is what you need to do. We've already been considered
a lot of county's already state of emergency. That is
going on right now, and people are now out getting things. No,
you say you're out and you saw some shortages? I did.
Speaker 5 (01:06:09):
Yeah.
Speaker 9 (01:06:10):
Yesterday after the woman's soccer game, I went straight to
Walmart and the first thing I saw off the shelf
was meat.
Speaker 4 (01:06:16):
It was all gone.
Speaker 9 (01:06:17):
Yeah, and uh water of course, yeah, to the point
where I had to substitute it for sparkling water.
Speaker 4 (01:06:24):
And candles. Really, candles were off the shelf. Yeah. I
saw one of the news reports. They were in Costco
and you know how they have eight billion cases yeah
of water. God, it's crazy because some of y'all about
ten cases, you know, damn well, y'all need no ten
cases of water.
Speaker 7 (01:06:39):
I know a lot of stores are putting limits on
it you can buy. Yeah, I really think it should
be like that too.
Speaker 4 (01:06:45):
Now we have a little back back Road seven eleven
to straight across. They always have water. Yeah, yeah, right,
it's like it's outside. I guarantee ain't no rush at
that seven eleven. That's the Trig office.
Speaker 8 (01:06:58):
Max sells water places like that is where you can
go on the sly where you know if you're out
at your store.
Speaker 4 (01:07:03):
Yes, And of course we had this conversation. I feel
like a parent. We had this conversation with you, but
y'all don't want to listen. You like those those kids
that don't pay attention. You had to learn the hard way.
Toilet paper's gone.
Speaker 7 (01:07:17):
Yeah, yeah, that's because of the dock workers or the whatever,
because of that strike.
Speaker 8 (01:07:25):
Well that's what they said, but that's not what happened,
because they produced ninety percent of our toilet paper.
Speaker 7 (01:07:29):
I'm saying the panic buying with the toilet paper started
before the hurricane and.
Speaker 4 (01:07:33):
Went over until now where you go. And I didn't
know about the meat. That's that's that's different.
Speaker 5 (01:07:39):
Uh.
Speaker 4 (01:07:40):
And I say they say yes, water and they say
didn't toilet paper. I don't get it. I don't get it.
Speaker 8 (01:07:49):
I tell you, they make fun of us over everywhere
else because we do that.
Speaker 9 (01:07:52):
I feel like I would get like baby wipes before
toilet paper in that state.
Speaker 4 (01:07:57):
Here's the thing, man, the toilet paper industry in a
hole told themselves this will never happen again. They have
warehouses waiting for situations like this, so they're telling you, bye,
let me right down the mon fill it right back
right doing the shortage, it was not coming out. It
was once a week. Now what the stores are doing
now because you gounderstand the rest of the country is
(01:08:19):
not in a toilet paper shortage just here. Yes, So
that is direct a couple bunch of trucks. So you
gotta let the toilet paper and you go to the store.
You're like, well, damn, they restacked it. Well back in
the day. You went back to the store, there was
absolutely nothing there, all right. So what we want to
do is find out you're out there, we're in the studio.
Where have you been that they have water, where they
have toilet paper and there's meat. Now, it might have
(01:08:41):
been just been the store that you That's what I
was thinking too. Yeah, because I had chicken wings delivered yesterday,
I did. They brought up. It was like twenty four
of them. They had them delivered, not coug but raw meat.
So I don't know where that is. But if you see,
you saw yourself. Ain't nobody tell you this? Yeah, you
went in, didn't have any meat.
Speaker 12 (01:09:01):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:09:02):
I went through the produce first, then made that left
and the meat section. I was like, what is going on?
No meat? No, it's all gone. It's scary that what
I don't know.
Speaker 7 (01:09:11):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (01:09:12):
I don't know you were there. I'm just saying I've
been looking at eight newscasts and anybody else mentioned no
meat Ordre. But hey, I wasn't there. I'm on the
either side of Orlanta. I understand Nurisia's side of the
town has no meat. No meat, Okay, oh boy, I'm
not sure why you would buy up all the meat
and a hurricane, but it makes more sense than toilet paper. No, no,
(01:09:34):
you can't cook it. If the light's going out, it's
going to go bad. There's ways to preserve it and
make it happen, Salt. You're a pioneer. Now the way
to preserve it without her forrigid? Yeah you said it?
Speaker 9 (01:09:46):
So you telling me get cooler, get keep what's that?
Speaker 4 (01:09:52):
I called nice? Dry? I thank you.
Speaker 8 (01:09:55):
You're gonna go through the process of buying your cooler
and dry ice to preserve.
Speaker 9 (01:09:58):
Meat for I have it ready stalking away in the freezer.
Speaker 4 (01:10:04):
You talk to a pail woman. Ain't you're talking to
me like if I'm the one that took all that
meat home. No no, no, no, no no no.
Speaker 8 (01:10:11):
I'm talking to you as if you no, no, no,
I'm talking to you as if you just said there's
ways to preserve it, like we're stupid.
Speaker 4 (01:10:16):
And I'm sitting I'm saying you shouldn't buy the meat,
but if you had to choose between buying the meat
and the toilet paper, get the toilet paper because the
meat is gonna go back. This conversation makes me want
to disappear. Ray, we're trying to help people.
Speaker 8 (01:10:28):
I'm not saying you bought up the meat. I'm saying
you're here acting like, of course you could preserve it.
You guys, oh is that what you?
Speaker 4 (01:10:36):
Hey? Ray, do your impersonation to me, I would being
nice the fall apart.
Speaker 3 (01:10:44):
All right.
Speaker 4 (01:10:45):
I want to find out where are the shortages and
if you can validate for shorts, if you can validate
that there was no meats, please douse y'all narsas I
can buy myself, saying ain't no meat in sit the floor.
If you can validate that there's no meat, please do
because I wasn't out and you were furl seven nine
(01:11:07):
nine one on six seven eight seven seven nine one
nine one on six seven xCE on mobile four one
O sixty seven live stream social media. We want to
find out where you are. If there is plenty of
toilet paper, plenty of water, and plenty of meat. Okay,
if you're out in the bout and you've seen these things,
call us up so we can tell people where there are.
We're just trying to connect people together right here on
Johnny Category three. As it heads our way, start getting
(01:11:29):
yourself prepared, and we'll talking about preparation. Now we find
out that there's some places that are running out of
out of water, toilet paper and meat and unreice. I'll
google this for you real quick. Several ways to preserve
meat without electricity. Let's hear you got drying. The method
you were talking about is freeze drying. Okay, you have
(01:11:49):
pressure canning, you have salting which I was talking about
packing it and lard now I'm not familiar with that one, right,
and then you can pickle it.
Speaker 8 (01:11:59):
No, I would just say there's no that's harder than it.
Speaker 4 (01:12:03):
Is just just to not buy it, you know what
I'm saying. So we want to find out from you
where are the shortages and if you were out and
about you didn't see no meat. I'm just kind of,
you know, validate what she said. She said she went
to the store, there was no meat. I just want
somebody to say she is one hundred percent correct because
right now she's on that island by herself from Deltona. Catherine,
(01:12:24):
good morning, good morning, And where did you go and
what were they out of?
Speaker 18 (01:12:29):
So I went to my local publics and they've been
out of water since last week, like we haven't gotten
water back then, like people started preparing for Helen, which
is insane to me. But my publics.
Speaker 17 (01:12:43):
Also has a shortage on meat, okay, which I really
think is because like when your power goes out, like
you can make meats on like your grill, like you
don't have to have power for that. But the weirdest
thing I saw that on the running logan is cereal,
like my public being higher shelf of cereal.
Speaker 4 (01:13:01):
Is I think that I don't think it's the short
I think they had a bogo because I saw it,
like and you can eat cereal dry not what you.
Speaker 19 (01:13:10):
Would think, but like not every like this, like all
the sale signs are still on the shelf, like literally
not everything is on sale and being higher, shelf was empty.
So I went to my Walmart and there was a
lot of cereals that were also out of stock at Walmart, which.
Speaker 4 (01:13:25):
I think is so weird period.
Speaker 18 (01:13:27):
Like milk is gonna go bad so quickly, you know,
so like why would that be a thing, because I.
Speaker 4 (01:13:32):
Think people people are people are preserving, they're preserving the milk.
Speaker 19 (01:13:35):
Yeah, in that milk wrapping.
Speaker 4 (01:13:40):
Large from Orlando, Jackie. Jackie said, here's the place to
just restock. Jackie, where did you go and who restocked?
Speaker 20 (01:13:48):
Yes, I just left the publics on Orange by the
Soto area, down by Orlando Health. Yes, I just got water,
I got ice, I got bread, buy one, get one free.
I uh cold dougieham and you know Dougie Meats and
they did have a lot of meat.
Speaker 7 (01:14:17):
Right on a second, right, people are just posting pictures
of the empty shelves at their stores. But the fuel
in winter Haven is like really low. But bread, there's
a lot of bread that's.
Speaker 4 (01:14:31):
Gone you know what I'm looking for?
Speaker 12 (01:14:34):
Meat?
Speaker 7 (01:14:35):
Oh no, nobody said people are just losing common sense.
They said, yea pro painetakes. I don't see any meat
on here.
Speaker 8 (01:14:42):
Okay, let's see XL mobile powered by Attorney Dan Newlin Interact.
Speaker 4 (01:14:46):
Need to check.
Speaker 8 (01:14:46):
It's a no brainer. Call Attorney Dan Newland. That sees
someone said over and Lake. No, no, we got lots
of meat. The public's on a loma palettes of water
full of meat. Now, they did say, Cassier, there's a
little shortage of meat. Where over in Castle Barrow they
have a little problem with the meat. And yes, we
know you can grill meat when the power goes out.
(01:15:06):
We're just saying that if you're going to be extended
days long with no power, meat the best option.
Speaker 4 (01:15:11):
That's all right, and meat perhaps, yes. And I had
to look this up and it tells you how to
preserve milk without a fridge. It says pack ice in
store and the like a koola of course, and when
the ice milk puts some mobil something. I love this.
Speaker 8 (01:15:28):
I understand you can keep things cool with ice, I
get it. But ice melts, yes, now you you got
to replace that ice. So creating a situation where you
have to continually keep something cool.
Speaker 4 (01:15:37):
Not a great idea, but it.
Speaker 7 (01:15:39):
Was like you, jack Hole, spent three hundred dollars on
a Yetti for or on a Yetti cooler, but yet
you're filling your washing machine with ice?
Speaker 4 (01:15:46):
What Hey, who's doing that? Somebody on Facebook? I think
that might be a family member. They're just trying to
try to call out. All Right, Hey, look we're having fun,
but listen, get prepared and if you're missing something, we'll
try to find it for you. On Johnny's House, this
is the weekend. Hey, it's Olivia Rodrigo. Johnny's House Mornings,
Orlando's number one hit music station all.
Speaker 6 (01:16:06):
Day now six seven Orlando Now The Johnny's House Entertainment News.
Speaker 4 (01:16:16):
With Ray So.
Speaker 7 (01:16:17):
Kesha is making her full swing her comeback right now,
and she hopes to reclaim her joy with her upcoming album.
She's promising to make some major shifts within the music industry.
I was telling you, I think it was last week
that she's got like her own branch of a record.
Speaker 4 (01:16:32):
Label now, which is really cool.
Speaker 7 (01:16:35):
But she's like, everybody knows me as a fun human being,
and my soul is very fun. And she was like,
I just need this new album. My soul needs this
new album, and she needs to reclaim her joy back.
Speaker 4 (01:16:48):
So that's exactly what she's.
Speaker 7 (01:16:49):
Going to be trying to do with her record label,
Kasha Records, and she plans to make waves in the industry.
Speaker 4 (01:16:55):
Yeah, because I mean for a while there, she had
a rough couple of years because I mean, you know,
having to sue the person that you signed with, and
it's good to have fun.
Speaker 7 (01:17:04):
Yeah, But she's like, I'm going to make some major
moves and shifts. And she was just saying that, like
the whole music industry is like dismantled right now, mom,
and is like all over the place. So that's like her,
She's working on her legacy, is basically what she kept saying.
Speaker 4 (01:17:18):
What the bottom line, did you got to bring up
some good music? Yes, bring got good music. Did you
see the rock returned for w WE?
Speaker 5 (01:17:24):
No?
Speaker 4 (01:17:24):
Did your mom see it? She probably did, she did.
I was telling Brown, I was watching the it's called
Mister McMahon, it's the Mince mcvhan's documentary and last night
episode was talking about the rise of the rock and
how he got started and all that stuff. So he
came back. Yeah.
Speaker 7 (01:17:40):
So Saturday night he was absolutely The Rock at the
State Farm Arena in Georgia. I guess The Rock's theme
song started playing in the arena and the.
Speaker 4 (01:17:50):
Crowd went wild, they went they lost it.
Speaker 7 (01:17:54):
Yeah, So I guess The Rock showed up with his
little hardwarre, his little belts and everything and was holding
it up. But I guess he's got something with Cody Rhoades,
Like they've got like this whole drama with each other.
So The Rock took the mic and he was like,
you know, I've been feeling a lot of things and
he just wanted to like come out there. He's like,
there's a bunch of bs that's been going on the
(01:18:14):
past six months.
Speaker 4 (01:18:15):
So he like flipped right back into the Rock. Well,
what happened a couple months ago is that they allowed
him to keep his name because they kind of owned
The Rock. Yeah, and I'm sure in there it's like, well, look,
you got to come back at least twice, right, you
got to come back.
Speaker 7 (01:18:28):
And that's what they're saying is that, like Saturday's event
means that there's something big that's coming with WrestleMania forty
one that's around the corner.
Speaker 4 (01:18:35):
Yeah, Oh my god, that's cool if you have ADHD.
Speaker 7 (01:18:39):
Paris Hilton says that ADHD is what gives her her creativity,
her resilience, and her ability to think outside the box.
And she said it's one of the greatest qualities that
she thinks she has.
Speaker 4 (01:18:49):
And that's cool as an adult, but as a kid,
you know, the rest of people crazy till they can
figure it out. Absolutely.
Speaker 7 (01:18:56):
She was like, ADHD isn't about being lazy or unmotivated.
She's like, in fact, it's incredibly like a productive thing
for her and it makes her driven. And I'm like,
that's crazy that she feels that way, because people often
don't realize how much effort it takes to manage, Like add.
Speaker 4 (01:19:11):
What she's not saying is that when I'm focused on something,
I'm laser focused. But if I ain't focused on it,
I don't give a damn.
Speaker 1 (01:19:18):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (01:19:19):
So, I mean, she's got this new album that's out
and she has a song called ADHD, and I guess
October is ADHD Awareness Month.
Speaker 4 (01:19:28):
So that is why she's coming out and saying, all,
what type of music is it is?
Speaker 8 (01:19:32):
You know, it's gotta be DM, right, because she's a DJ. Yeah, Yeah,
so EIGHTYHD is the song.
Speaker 4 (01:19:39):
Yep represent Okay, all right, we come back. We're gonna
find out what is trends? What is trending?
Speaker 9 (01:19:47):
Yeah, So here are some hurricane school closures in central
Florida that's caused by Milton.
Speaker 4 (01:19:51):
She's my error. Earlier.
Speaker 9 (01:19:54):
Marion County Public schools they're going to be closed Wednesday
to Thursday. The Lucia County Public Schools have canceled most
of their after school activities and programs today. All of
Oscila schools are going to be closed starting Wednesday. Poe
County Public schools and offices, they're going to be closed
Tuesday through Thursday, and now going into colleges that are
(01:20:14):
also going to be affected by Milton. All of Rawlins
classes are canceled this week. The campus is actually set
to close Tuesday at five pm, which is the same
time that all residential students must evacuate The campus. UCF
Valencia and DeLand campus will be closed Tuesday through Thursday.
Most school plans to reopen and resume back to normal
business operating this Friday, October eleventh. They're looking and saying
(01:20:38):
that students they must return home, seek shelters with friends,
and family, or stay at local emergency shelters. Also prepping
for the hurricane, you can grab some sand bags in
your local community. Check out your county's web page for
full details. Just to be sure, bring your idea and
shovel two. But to name a few quickly, Orange County
sandbags locations Rawlins Softball Park, Barnett Park with Low Community
(01:20:59):
Park out in Altamont Springs. You're looking at Eastmont Park,
Westmont Recreation Center, City of Edgewater Fire Rescue Association fire Hall.
They also got sambags for you guys. Wow, a little
bit off topic. Last night, your Lano Pride, they stayed undefeated.
We played against our top rival Washington and this win
also gave us the first time ever in club history,
(01:21:20):
the Shield, which is the annual award given to the
National Women's Soccer League team with the best regular season
reck year.
Speaker 4 (01:21:26):
So the regular season champion, ya, that's what I am
in the list every year. I am the regular season champion.
But they don't mean nothing. The championship means nothing. It's nice,
but no good. It's good. That means they get the
top seeding, the in the tournament and all that good stuff.
Speaker 9 (01:21:40):
Yeah, we got three more regular season home season games left.
The next home game is November Tecon against Seattle, if
you want to see that. And speaking of soccer, this
is really cool. All of our three soccer teams in
Central Florida, they're all going to the playoffs. So you're
looking at the Women's Pride, the Atlanto City Soccer and
Orlando City b aka OCB from Osceola. Oh very good. Yeah, okay.
(01:22:00):
Trending social media, Happy birthday to Instagram fourteen years old
of posting videos and pictures of our lives on the world. Boy,
that evolved a minute ago. Melton has strengthen to category four.
Oh nice four So that escalated quickly. Yeah damn yeah,
I said hot wow. And that's like in the last
two hours three this morning, at like seven.
Speaker 4 (01:22:22):
About a minute ago, the meteorologists are posting, Wow, we're
looking at a We're looking at a Fox thirty five.
It is in our studio and that thing's churning. It
is churning. So you know, today we want to, you know,
just get caught up with hurricane stuff. As close as
we get to the storm, the more intense we'll get
with information and stuff like that. We come back, I
want to talk about. You know, we got this storm
is now a cat what cat four? Lord? We want
(01:22:44):
to find out, at what point do you start paying
real attention? Just no, yeah, really just now when you
talk about something milk Now Coming up is nine seventeen
Hurricane Miles Ray. It's been upgraded to a category category
four and yeah, category four.
Speaker 9 (01:23:02):
You were saying that we got here. Yeah, by the
time we got here too, Yeah, it was two.
Speaker 4 (01:23:06):
It was two when we got here. So and we've
been here since on the air since six. So in
the last two hours, it's gone up from a two
to a three, to a three to a four and
five is the max. There's nothing higher than the category
five here.
Speaker 3 (01:23:17):
Today.
Speaker 4 (01:23:17):
We're gonna get mostly mostly cloudy with showers. We expect
rainfall today and the bad weather should start pulling in,
as they say, from Wednesday night to Thursday morning, six
to twelve inches of rain. It's gonna be power outages, flooding,
possible tornadoes. And our question to you is when, at
(01:23:38):
what point do you start paying attention to the storm?
Like over the weekend, I just started because I knew
this was happening this week and I just didn't want
to just pull my brain up with storm stuff. But
my kid loves weather like people love football, so he
kept me up to speed. But for me, I was
maybe twice an hour. I was getting updated while watching
(01:23:59):
the football game. And I think, right now, I'm starting
to get really serious now that it is a force.
So I guess closer it gets to us, the more
I start paying more attention. What is it for you?
When do you start paying attention? Right right now? Right now? Yeah,
honestly right now.
Speaker 7 (01:24:17):
Well, just because the look I was saying earlier, the
spaghetti models, they're all coming through us, every single one, that.
Speaker 4 (01:24:24):
One that veers way off to Yeah, and that's what
I'm saying.
Speaker 7 (01:24:27):
There's not one that doesn't steer straight through floor or
through Orlando. And so that's where I'm kind of like panicked.
Speaker 4 (01:24:34):
So now you're going to up your your up your
watching or paying attention, yea, your preparedness level.
Speaker 7 (01:24:40):
I'm actually going to thoroughly prepare today. I just need
to make sure, you know, like the kids, because the
school is going to be closed, yeah, and I need
to make sure that they're comfortable.
Speaker 4 (01:24:49):
I got to call yesterday from Orange County Public School
saying that today they will be making some announce so
they call twice over the week in let us know
that they made They made no decisions. Yeah, but we're
gonna make some decision when we make them, and we
just want to let y'all know that some decisions will
be made, just not what this call that we just
right when we do make them, we're gonna make them.
We're gonna make it. We ain't making them yet, not
(01:25:10):
yet because we want to be assessed to the situation.
But please keep in mind, we understand the importance of
making this decision, and as soon as we make it,
we're gonna make it. That's what they say. That made
paying attention.
Speaker 8 (01:25:24):
Well, I was really thinking probably Tuesday afternoon because then
you really know exactly where it's going to go. And
you really won't still because you can go to bed
and that can change. But I mean, obviously with it
being this, I have to make sure my house is right,
Like my wife's already texting me if we need to
do this, if we do that, so I mean, I'm
gonna have.
Speaker 4 (01:25:42):
To pay attention. So now you have to pay attention.
I got to pay attention today. So normally it would
be a day out, you know, what's going to happen
on when.
Speaker 8 (01:25:51):
What I'm gonna do is put my wife and my
boss on a group text and just let them text
each other with their paranoia.
Speaker 4 (01:25:58):
You're talking about Jeremy Rice. Yes, he called me yesterday
and said, hey, I wanted to wait afternoon because I
felt really bad if I called you and you're in church.
I'm like, yeah, you should have felt bad if you'd
have called me on the Lord Church. The reason when
you stop paying a dividit.
Speaker 9 (01:26:11):
Actually, I think I really started to give this attention
yesterday when I was driving from South Florida because I
saw the storm like, the clouds like it shifted from
partly cloudy to getting darker to then scattered storms and
rains like every what thirty minutes I was driving north.
Speaker 4 (01:26:28):
This has the thing. People right now are confused that
the weather we have now is associated with a storm.
Yeah it's not. This was going to be here.
Speaker 9 (01:26:35):
And the thing is too because I brought my dog
with me, and I truly wanted to leave my dog
with my mom this past this week because I wanted
her to have some company.
Speaker 4 (01:26:43):
My grandmother passed away.
Speaker 9 (01:26:45):
And then I got home and then yeah, thank you
and then I got home and I'm texting my family. Guys,
this storm is serious. My sisters are like, good thing,
you left your dog down there, so you don't have
to worry. That's one less thing to worry about. It's like, wow,
now that's another thing I have to really be considerate
about because I wouldn't have thought about it until I
got here.
Speaker 3 (01:26:59):
So wow.
Speaker 4 (01:27:00):
So now you're you're on top of it. We want
to find out from you now early today, and you
should always listen to the podcast and you get caught
up on everything that's going on. We were talking to
the ogs. Those are people that's been here for a while,
and you've been through a couple of storms and hurricanes.
We're asking you, when do you start paying attention. You know,
we gave some help to the new bees that are
new to town. We told them what to do, gave
(01:27:20):
them advice on what to look out for and those
types of things. But for you OG's who've been here
for a couple of years, when do you start paying
real attention to the storm? Because over the weekend you're
like you've been hearing about it. You got some rumbling,
and today this thing is picking up like quickly, and
then there's some closing of a couple of schools and stuff.
But when, at what point do you start paying a
lot of attention to the storm that is coming through?
(01:27:42):
For seven now one nine one on six seven eight
seven seven nine one nine one o six seven. If
you can't get through and you want to drop your comment,
you can always text and we'll read it for you.
The XL mobile is four to one o six seven
on your phones and you push sin live streamers who
are watching the show, we'd love to hear what you think,
and we'll throw it up on social media. What point
do you start paying attention to the storm? We're watching
(01:28:03):
some news coverage out in Ostiolio. They got saying everywhere
and there's people lined up to get these sandbags. So
people are definitely paying attention. But for you, when do
you start paying attention. Let's see if we're on the
same page right here on Johnny's house, give us updates
on a Milton and when he speaks is like, oh,
I mean, he's just all factual. This is what's gonna happen.
(01:28:24):
Just got a text message from my sister that my
family calls me Chris. He said, Chris I'm keeping up
with Milton. It's already a Cap four. You need to
come home, pack stuff, I said, I gotta work. I can't,
she said, bull, This hurricane has already predicted to be
a Cat five. Get your butt home. I'm a grown man,
and this is how my family talks. Rice, Yes, Jeremy Rice, Kathy,
(01:28:47):
Jeremy Rice. Will not let me come home, he said.
We all have to stay here from today until Friday,
with no new clothes, no food, no nothing. He's locked
the studio door and we cannot leave. He told me,
I got to stay up on the roof and then
call y'all when something changes. He saw Chad making his
bed over there down the hall.
Speaker 8 (01:29:03):
He's like, I gotta climb on the roof of the
building and then call y'all and tell y'all when I
see something change.
Speaker 7 (01:29:07):
It's so funny. My family from New York just sex
to me during that break too. It's like all the
people that are in our family from up north.
Speaker 4 (01:29:14):
So I get out, get out. It's a Category five.
Get out. What do you mean you have to work?
I ain't eve gonna tell you the fact that we
could be driving an that's the whole difference story. My
wife is hot.
Speaker 8 (01:29:23):
She's like, I like Jermy, but don't let me talk
to him.
Speaker 4 (01:29:29):
He said, you know, you're not that important. I'm like,
that is so funny.
Speaker 7 (01:29:33):
My girlfriend was like, why would you drive in this
the roads are closed? And I said, yeah, but we're exceptional,
like we're allowed to wounders.
Speaker 4 (01:29:41):
We got these car. Absolutely not. I'm exaggerating. I know.
I let the first responders know along, but I got
this car right here, this is I have one of those.
That's right. It says in my car, it says iHeartMedia
Emergency Response Team, which is that Joe. I am on
the emergency Response team here. And as long as I
have that card, that means Jeremy Rice has to make
(01:30:03):
me a cot.
Speaker 3 (01:30:05):
Oh my god.
Speaker 4 (01:30:06):
If you got pulled over and you showed him that, hey,
let me tell you something he did. I did, yeah,
and I showed him that did COVID And they said, hey, listen,
only first responders can get you know, the COVID shot.
Speaker 5 (01:30:18):
Now.
Speaker 4 (01:30:18):
I waited a couple of days. I ain't want to
jump in there with everybody, but I did go one
Sunday morning. They said, well, what is this? I said, Hey,
it's my E R T card and they said send
him through shot.
Speaker 8 (01:30:28):
So I gave you some trouble for that.
Speaker 4 (01:30:32):
You did give me some trouble shot from a real response.
You know, look, I got there. It was first thing
on a Sunday. It was first thing on a Sunday morning.
I got there at six o'clock. There was no line.
There was no line for nobody, so you didn't jump
the line. But that shot could have gone to someone
who really needed to be on the front lines. And
you know what, that person should have got up all
(01:30:53):
right from the Lando looks damn looisy' I don't care
about people. When do you stop paying attention to this stuff?
Speaker 5 (01:31:02):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (01:31:02):
Category five? You don't want to hit category that's when
anythings start to get serious. Or when the waffle house closes.
Speaker 3 (01:31:10):
It's real.
Speaker 8 (01:31:11):
Yeah, waffle house is up North did close, That's how
and Atlanta like, wait a second waffle house closed?
Speaker 4 (01:31:16):
Says one thing about the there's one thing about the
workers at the waffle house. And I've heard the conversation.
They don't pay me enough to stay out.
Speaker 3 (01:31:24):
I think what's I think what's scary about.
Speaker 12 (01:31:26):
This storm in particular is how fast yeah throw it?
Speaker 4 (01:31:29):
It is like I think.
Speaker 2 (01:31:30):
I mean Sunday morning, I heard it was you know, one, two, whatever,
and then I wake up this wint I's the three four.
Speaker 3 (01:31:36):
It's like, well, wait, what have a couple.
Speaker 4 (01:31:38):
Of days in between Friday? Friday and e pendo five.
For as Brian and I were talking like yeah, we
don't get ahold out of rain next week.
Speaker 8 (01:31:44):
Well this is the same system that they tried to
turn into something and then they said it's just a
blob of rain.
Speaker 4 (01:31:50):
Later it's like close.
Speaker 2 (01:31:51):
We go after hell and like, yeah, it's scary for sure,
but yeah, I'd say probably four or five, that's when
we start getting getting.
Speaker 4 (01:31:59):
Concerns of the ogs. Get concerned ogs. And you know what,
it just hit four. I've never heard of a hurricane
that went It went up to two levels. And since
we got here this morning. We got here started out
at a hundred and twifty and I was one hundred
and fifty miles on our wins.
Speaker 2 (01:32:12):
So I just found that out listening to you guys
on my way to work.
Speaker 4 (01:32:15):
I heard that. I'm like, what, yeah, heard of your
first That's right, yep, that's right. Where are your Milton?
See when you say stuff like when you say stuff
like that. Lewis Jeremy weits. He smiles because he says,
you know what, I because he called us all yesterday
and I'm just saying, so when you make comments like that,
you want us to be here in the storm, that's
what you're saying. See you now, I'll be on until
(01:32:37):
eleven today twelve. Ray just got to notice his forget
Ryan Seacrest, you gonna be on the air now. I
heard I heard it on Google first to late. Yeah,
you already smiled and got back. He's already smiling. Yeah,
he already smiled and.
Speaker 8 (01:32:49):
Raised what you're tend to twelve and I'm twelve to two.
That's got to keep you updated.
Speaker 4 (01:32:54):
Jeremy Wright said, three days out, y'all need because we
are yours.
Speaker 3 (01:32:58):
He said, look, this is for the people.
Speaker 4 (01:33:00):
Milton updates Station one six seven. Pay attention because Louis
said he gets his stormp information from exhale. Now we're
spending the night for the next four days.
Speaker 8 (01:33:12):
Our eyes and ears hit us up on the Hurricane
Milton talkback.
Speaker 4 (01:33:15):
That's right on the iHeartRadio app. We did find out
this morning there is no meat. I'm sorry to read.
I'm sorry, thank you looks. I apologize, all right, No
worries on Milton seven. That's the kind of information y'all
gonna give from us, I'm to tell you now from
Claremont Terry, good morning.
Speaker 11 (01:33:37):
Good morning.
Speaker 10 (01:33:38):
How are you guys?
Speaker 4 (01:33:38):
Hey? Ao g How when do you start paying attention?
Speaker 12 (01:33:43):
Usually around a cat too, especially for in the cone.
Speaker 4 (01:33:46):
Yeah, so you started paying attention win yesterday, so you're responsible.
Speaker 13 (01:33:50):
Well okay, So I'm originally from Miami.
Speaker 12 (01:33:53):
And I went through Hurricane Andrew.
Speaker 4 (01:33:55):
Yeah, oh yeah, that was a big one. Once you
went through something sticks.
Speaker 17 (01:33:59):
With it one.
Speaker 12 (01:34:00):
I was out here for the two thousand and four
Charlie and Irene.
Speaker 4 (01:34:04):
And all that.
Speaker 12 (01:34:05):
So yeah, yeah, And you know, it's better.
Speaker 13 (01:34:07):
To be prepared than and not need it than you know,
tru didn't.
Speaker 4 (01:34:11):
And here's the thing. Here's the thing is that right now,
three days out where they say is gonna hit and
it's going to land, we all know that's not the case.
It won't be that way. You know. We just want
to find out how close we're going to be to
it or how far away we're going to be from it.
But we're definitely gonna get something, you know.
Speaker 12 (01:34:28):
Oh yeah, do you guys follow Mike's leather page on Facebook.
Speaker 4 (01:34:31):
Yeah, we were talking today. Yeah, everyone seems to love it.
Speaker 5 (01:34:34):
Yeah, he's phenomenal, like he he predicted.
Speaker 14 (01:34:38):
A good part of this.
Speaker 4 (01:34:39):
Yeah, really pretty awesome.
Speaker 3 (01:34:41):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:34:41):
I saw he's doing a meet and greet too, is
he really? Yeah? He does a cruise. Man, he's got
his own weather cruise. Brian told me, say, man, you
should take your son. I'm like, no, he should, I
should send him on his own. Look, you're a big boy.
Speaker 3 (01:34:51):
Now.
Speaker 4 (01:34:51):
I know you're only sixteen. You're fifteen right now, but
you'll be sixteen with a cruise. Go have a guitar,
some fifty tyson stuff. Listen what laughing today? Because it's
gonna get real serious in the next two like see
where yes, yes, in the morning, yuck, come ups, gonna
be all right, Terry, stay safe, okay, all right, Brady,
(01:35:15):
say you did or you didn't. Yeah.
Speaker 7 (01:35:18):
So a lot of people are saying that this is
going to be a Cat five, so it could be
to actually to start preparing for it.
Speaker 4 (01:35:25):
No, don't tell you what's joking right now, to take
this thing seriously.
Speaker 8 (01:35:27):
This morning they said it will strengthen pretty high, maybe
to a Cat five and then once you're from the
cold front will be knocked down a little before it
hits LAMB, but it's still going to be pretty massive.
Speaker 3 (01:35:36):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:35:36):
Yeah, don't look like I said Tomorrow and Wednesday, you
hear the attitude of this show. The show changed because
we really got to get serious and get your information
and stuff like that. We know today we're just trying
to tell you pay attention, pay attention to what's going
on because we're all going to be affected by it.
That's the sad thing. We're all going to be affected
by this in the next couple of days. Brian Wan
what's over the.
Speaker 8 (01:35:56):
Man Xcel mobile powered by Attorney Dan Newlyn interrec need
to check it to no Brainer call turning Dan Newland.
Most people on here, and I agree with them, say,
when Walt Disney World closes, yeah, they know it's serious,
because that's how we knew COVID was for real. Yes,
we were staying at the resort and they put a
note on our door. Y'all got to go really because
we're closing tomorrow and we're.
Speaker 4 (01:36:14):
Like what, Yeah, because if they do that, you know
they've researched everything through and through. Like I said, you
know what we're having fun. That's what we do. We
try to keep your mind away from the seriousness seriousness
of the world. But tomorrow we'll get more intense on
information and closings and stuff like that. All we can
tell you now seriously, all jokes aside. Pay attention to
what's happening out there, and we're going to give you
all the information that we can. Let's get up out
(01:36:35):
of here, right, you ain't going nowhere.
Speaker 7 (01:36:36):
Yeah, I'm gonna hang out for a little bit longer
and probably till twelve, and then Brian's gonna hop in
again and just give you all the updates that we
have for Hurricane Millon ok Nurice.
Speaker 9 (01:36:47):
Yeah, I plan on cleaning on my garage because I've
never experienced a flooding and this is my first hurricane
here with my house I purchased, So just to be
on the safe side, I'm gonna get some sand and
kind of kind of clear up my garage just in case.
Speaker 8 (01:36:59):
Yeah, for sure, bry Same, I got a bunch of
work to do around here. Between this station, We're gonna
kick Ryan Seacress out and keep you updated. And then
I got to jump down the hall and do that
one on magic as well, So I'll be busy all
day long. Uh, and then I also take breaks and
you know, get my house ready, list of stuff we
need to do. So for sure, yeah, just just hurricane stuff.
Just pay pay close attention to everything. I joke it
(01:37:20):
about everything. Yeah, listen to me.
Speaker 4 (01:37:21):
I'm dumb. And tomorrow again you'll see us get more
you know, serious with the information and stuff like that.
But this thing got quickly, got quick, real fast with me.
Let's get serious real fast. So we'll give you more
information as it occurs. What some JJ Rice wants to
rename the show Milton's House that that wasn't even me
(01:37:42):
Milton's House over the ray. Have a beautiful day. We'll
see you tomorrow
