Speaker 1 (00:02):
Trying to wake up Excel one oh six seven.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
You're hanging with Johnny's.

Speaker 1 (00:11):
House, wake up Central Florida, trying to feel the vibe.
Welcome into Johnny's House, trying to get live Hall of
Flame with Johnny Magic, the leader of the show, trying
spending facts loop much he doesn't know.

Speaker 3 (00:22):
Ray.

Speaker 1 (00:22):
You on the side, spilling tea like a habit. We
got you in the chat hits saying we grab it
one O six seven, were next to you, riding.

Speaker 4 (00:29):
Johnny and the crew.

Speaker 2 (00:30):
We out here grinding Johnny's House.

Speaker 4 (00:33):
Got your day off right.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
From the first the longtown to the last red light,
from the transitter story to other things.

Speaker 4 (00:39):
You need to know Johnny's.

Speaker 2 (00:40):
House on the Excel, Well, you know one show you already?
Oh that's me.

Speaker 4 (00:45):
Good morning, I right like yo.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
Yeah, I was reading some stuff on the XL mobile
at six so two Thursday morning. Who you're gonna do
Johnny's House? Yeah, it's gonna be fun today. I I
made someone mad in the movie yesterday. I was reading
very long text, oh boy, from them, So I'm sorry. Well,
good morning, yeah, good morning. It's gonna be hot today,
really record temperatures today, they said Hive around ninety six.

(01:10):
It's gonna feel like one oh five, like one ten
in some areas, so it's gonna be very hot.

Speaker 5 (01:16):
And it's six o three now the Johnny's House Entertainment News.

Speaker 6 (01:20):
Three Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Did you see
the original released in nineteen seventy one.

Speaker 2 (01:28):
Not all the way through. I've seen parts of it.
I'm not a big Willy Wonka. I've never seen any
of the remix either.

Speaker 6 (01:32):
Okay, so the one with Johnny Depp incredible, like I thought.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
He was really great, really creepy in that.

Speaker 7 (01:39):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
Yeah. So the one with Gene Wilder, yes.

Speaker 6 (01:43):
Where he's like the mysterious Chocoaltier, which obviously that's what
like the whole concept of it is.

Speaker 4 (01:48):
It's a returning ticket and all that stuff.

Speaker 6 (01:49):
Yeah, it's returning to theaters next month for it's fifty
fifth anniversary. We're gonna see more and more movies doing this.
I forgot which movie started it, but whenever it's like
a big anniversary, yeah, movie, they bring it back to
the big screen.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
I know Star Wars has done it because a lot
of people didn't see Star Wars in the movie because
they were too young.

Speaker 6 (02:06):
Yeah, and so same thing with this. Obviously I didn't
see this in the movie theater, but I am a
big fan of the Lilly Wonka movies.

Speaker 4 (02:12):
I think that would do good at the sphere. Oh,
that'd be cool.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
The way they did Wizard of Oz. If you made
it interactive, I think that would be good at the sphere.

Speaker 6 (02:19):
That'd be really cool. So if you want to check
it out. The fifty fifth anniversary is right around the corner,
So next month it's going to go back to some theaters.

Speaker 4 (02:26):
That'd be fun.

Speaker 2 (02:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (02:27):
The View is actually getting some pay cuts.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
I don't know if you saw this.

Speaker 6 (02:31):
Yeah, so since season twenty nine started with Alyssa Griffin
apparently being denied a significant race, well, there's like other
cuts that are happening. Obviously, this is happening across like
major you know media analots.

Speaker 4 (02:47):
Yeah, I mean it's happening. I know one of the
big ones is ESPN.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
Right now. People are losing their minds over some of
the people getting cut at ESPN. Yeah.

Speaker 6 (02:53):
So the producer said that they're going to keep downsizing
and downsizing and downsizing with budget cuts. It could be painful.
And apparently more cuts are expected before next season. So
the show has already moved to a smaller filming space,
okay to try to like cut some things.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
But I mean they've been on for a long time.
I must have a really like loyal audience. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (03:16):
I see clips of it and I'm like, not for me.

Speaker 6 (03:18):
He's been on nineteen ninety seven.

Speaker 4 (03:20):
But you know, I mean obviously they've got some fans.

Speaker 6 (03:22):
Yeah, So apparently there's gonna be a lot of pay
cuts that are happening, especially with the view co hosts.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
So we'll see if anybody leads.

Speaker 4 (03:29):
They probably make serious, serious money.

Speaker 2 (03:32):
And I mean, like all of them got money already,
so like you look, if you like what you do
and you're willing to do it for less cool, If
you don't, then you'll move on. Yeah, that's what they
did with Regis. They wanted Regis to take a pay cut, yeah,
and Regis is like.

Speaker 6 (03:42):
Nah, yeah, and he's doing it forever and he's.

Speaker 2 (03:45):
Like, I'm good. I don't need to keep doing this
if y'all don't want to give me what I want. No, Yeah,
I mean that's what it is.

Speaker 4 (03:51):
Worked for them, worked for him, so yeah.

Speaker 2 (03:54):
So we'll see.

Speaker 6 (03:55):
We'll see if anybody leaves or dips out.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
Yeah, all right, well we will actually get the show started,
like for real, because I wasn't saying it's sorry. I
was reading it's fine, it's fine. I was. I was
fighting every fiber of my body to not start replying
to the person because I can't not reply to people.

Speaker 6 (04:10):
So sorry, you guys really knew how to hit us
on the mobile inside stuff.

Speaker 2 (04:12):
But yeah, the EXL mobiles was saying bad things to me.
So anyway, we'll get your Thursday started. We'll find out
what happened with us yesterday. We'll talk to you guys.
We'll do it in just a few minutes on Johnny's
House on XL on to six seven. Record temperatures today.
This is right, and only like no chance of rain now,
which I to me in CenTra, Florida is never true.

(04:33):
I know, always at least a slight chance of rain,
but it's no real rain to speak up in the forecast.
So yeah, it's gonna be really, really really hot today.
It was really hot yesterday.

Speaker 6 (04:40):
It was I like sat outside for a little bit, yeah,
because I was like, oh, it's not raining, So I
was like I sat outside and read for a little bit,
but I'm like, I have to put my bathing suit
on or something because I'm like dying.

Speaker 2 (04:50):
It is way too hot. So what else is you
going on?

Speaker 6 (04:52):
Yesterday, so I had to pick up my son from
his camp, which he was a little upset about. Really yeah,
because you know he's in canine camp right now with
his sister.

Speaker 2 (05:01):
So I saw a picture of your daughter holding a
giant snake. Yes, what the heck?

Speaker 6 (05:06):
Okay, so they're in this canine camp, like I said,
But I picked him up to go to therapy, and
then he was mad because he thought he was going
to miss those exotic animals. But he got back in
time and they had like exotic animals at the camp.
They had snakes, tarantulas, a tortoise.

Speaker 2 (05:19):
Wow.

Speaker 6 (05:19):
Yeah, so they're having the best time ever.

Speaker 4 (05:21):
That's awesome.

Speaker 2 (05:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (05:22):
But after his therapy appointment, I went to Forever Young
Only Ideal Image. They have the craziest technology. Now you
don't even need to step foot in a gym, Like,
if you want to be toned, they've got everything I
need to go there. Seriously, I was mind blown. It
is wild. So if you want to see that I
put on my Instagram.

Speaker 2 (05:41):
You can check it out.

Speaker 6 (05:44):
Seriously, go go tell him I sent Jim. But then
after that I did go home and I wanted to
like just read or like just relax. I'm trying to
just like calm myself. Yeah, you know, I feel like
I'm always over stimulated, and so I'm really just trying
to calm on service system.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
Yeah, I try, but I can't because my mind starts wandering.
And then I read the same thing like five times.
I'm like, what do I just read? I don't even
know what I just read.

Speaker 6 (06:08):
Yeah, so I've been trying to just do that. But
then you know Laingerie and regular.

Speaker 2 (06:13):
Life, yep, yeah, what about you guys, that's generally how
it works. Well, I hung out here for a little bit,
had to get some work done because today, like I'm
doing my afternoon show, I get a little staycation. It's
it was actually really nice from the pool deck over
at the Gaylord Palms.

Speaker 4 (06:26):
So I'll be doing the.

Speaker 2 (06:28):
Afternoon show from the pool, which is gonna be fun.
But that means I have to get all my in
studio stuff done. So I hung around yesterday and got
a little bit of my in studio stuff done, and
then I had to do a little bit.

Speaker 4 (06:39):
Of a graphic work type stuff.

Speaker 2 (06:40):
So I did that and then I got home and
I didn't really have anything to do, but my wife
was still working and so I'm like, I'm I'm not
really tired enough to take a nap.

Speaker 4 (06:49):
It's kind of late in the day.

Speaker 2 (06:50):
So I've been rewatching Beverly Hills nine No two when
hour oh, because I'm a nerd, and so I just
put an I put an episode on on Paramount Plus
and just let run and if I fall asleep, I
don't care because I've seen it before. Yeah, so I
didn't fall asleep.

Speaker 6 (07:05):
Do you notice anything like new when you watch it
over and over again?

Speaker 2 (07:08):
Just how ridiculously cheesy these storylines are and the fact
that that was like an amazing show back in the
day is hilarious.

Speaker 4 (07:16):
Yeah, because it is the most cheesy thing in the world.

Speaker 6 (07:18):
It's funny when I watched some of the shows that
I used to like Lizzie Maguire, and I'm like, what
the heck is it?

Speaker 2 (07:24):
But I mean, I don't care. I know it's cheesy.
My wife makes fun of me. She's like, are you're
watching nine two and oh again? I'm like, yeah, yes,
because I want to rewatch. When I did rewatch it,
I don't want to watch something I care too much about,
so I rewatched Breaking Bad.

Speaker 4 (07:36):
But that one you have to pay attention to.

Speaker 2 (07:38):
I know two and oh you don't know, just like whatever, man,
I you know, I woke up and all of a sudden,
somebody different owns the peach Pit after dark because they
sold it my college kids running nightclubs in La I'm like, okay, whatever, man.

Speaker 6 (07:49):
Yeah, no, it's good that. Like with streaming platforms, you
can go back.

Speaker 3 (07:52):
And do that.

Speaker 2 (07:52):
And then my wife and I went to dinner in
downtown water Guard and we were gonna say, let's eat outside,
but it was hot. Yeah, so we ate inside. There's
a place called AJ's. They do pizza, and we go
and get salad. They have the best caesar salad in
the world. They put thick cut bacon on it. Oh heck, yeah,
chopped up, got a little bit of grease. They put
lemon on the caesar. So it's oh, it's so good.

Speaker 6 (08:13):
That sounds so, so we go there for the.

Speaker 2 (08:15):
Salad and then if we decide to get a pizza
or whatever, great, we go there for the salad. So
we did that and then there's an ice cream spot
across the street called Scoops that we go to. So
we did it. We did dinner and ice cream last
night in downtown working garden. Yeah, it was nice.

Speaker 6 (08:27):
I love that for you guys.

Speaker 2 (08:28):
This was fun.

Speaker 4 (08:29):
And then just crashed out and here we are.

Speaker 6 (08:32):
Here, we are again. Here we are almost Friday.

Speaker 2 (08:35):
Almost, it's getting close. I did text back and forth
with Johnny a little bit yesterday. He sent me a
picture of his view.

Speaker 6 (08:40):
Oh, how's he doing?

Speaker 4 (08:42):
A very nice resort pool.

Speaker 2 (08:43):
He's chilling at him. I say, hey, man, I do
need you to, you know, send me this, but at
your leisure, like, don't work on my account please. Yeah,
you know when when you do have some time and
you ain't doing anything. So yeah, he'll be back on Monday.
Plea's having a good time, which is cool, getting a break.
He look, he doesn't get much of a break as

(09:03):
far as getting out away from life. He's outside of here.
He's got his kid that he's dealing with going to
a senior year, and he's got his family back in
the Carolina.

Speaker 4 (09:10):
So it's cool that he gets to relax.

Speaker 6 (09:12):
He deserves it, for sure.

Speaker 4 (09:13):
Cool he gets to do that.

Speaker 2 (09:14):
So Yeah, that's it, And I got an update yesterday
that the rum Bus did sell some of the last
few remaining seats, so really we are down to the
last few. So if you do want to go on
the rum Bus from Teak Neighborhood grill Out to Lugo's
Craft Distillery in Lakeland, you get some brunch to get started,
have some drinks on the bus, have some samples, and
see how it's made over at Lugo's, and then we'll
hang out in their.

Speaker 4 (09:34):
Little lounge area.

Speaker 2 (09:36):
There are only a few tickets left because they did
sell a bunch of him yesterday, like half of what
we had left sold yesterday, so there really are just
a couple of seats left. So I'm excited to join
this time. Yeah, it's gonna be fun. XL one O

(10:30):

so Wednesday. I'm trying to go back into Please don't
trying to get to the end of the week. It's
gonna be hot today. Record temperatures they say so high
of ninety six. Is gonna feel like it's almost one
oh five and I think they said one ten in some.

Speaker 4 (10:47):
Areas it's gonna be nuts.

Speaker 2 (10:48):
Yeah, super hot outside much.

Speaker 4 (10:50):
What is on your mind?

Speaker 2 (10:51):
Got tickets to check out the Creola Experience, Orlando's most colorful,
hands on family attraction. On the XL Mobile. One wanted
to talk about dreams and what certain dreams mean. Okay,
they said they dream about having a big, heavy boulder
that they haven't had in years.

Speaker 6 (11:09):
There's a lot of people that like research dreams and
like what they're supposed to mean.

Speaker 2 (11:13):
I told you yesterday off the air, I had a
dream that my wife and I ran into Snoop Dogg
and Doctor Dre in Las Vegas in a hotel lobby.
Doctor Dre pulled me aside to talk to me. A
couple of minutes later, I realized my wife wasn't around.
I looked over to the other side of the room,
opened a door, and she's hooking up a Snoop dog.

Speaker 6 (11:30):
That is crazy. Did you tell her.

Speaker 4 (11:32):
That I woke up mad?

Speaker 3 (11:34):
You can't be.

Speaker 4 (11:35):
I woke up mad as hell.

Speaker 2 (11:36):
I'm like, what you kidnap be? And I was like
I was rationalizing, well, at least as Snoop Dogg whatever.
I told her.

Speaker 3 (11:43):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (11:43):
I told her.

Speaker 2 (11:44):
She's like, uh, it's more likely I'd hooked up with
Doctor Dre of course.

Speaker 6 (11:47):
Yeah, whatever, if you had to pick one of the two.

Speaker 2 (11:50):
She's like, not Snoop No So, but yeah, I had
that weird dream, So, yeah, that was funny.

Speaker 4 (11:56):
This is a good one.

Speaker 7 (11:57):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (11:57):
And this is funny because we were talking about this
earlier with you. We were talking about you went to
Forever Young, and someone asked, what kind of stuff do
you do to make yourself look and feel good? Okay,
and you said they do everything over there.

Speaker 6 (12:09):
Seriously, I was telling you that they do everything to
where you don't even need to step foot in a gym.
I mean, like going to the gym. Obviously, it's like key,
you should do that for your health anyways.

Speaker 4 (12:19):
Yeah, because the fitness part is important.

Speaker 6 (12:20):
Yeah, but also there's a mental aspect that comes with
the gym. But as far as like toning and stuff,
they have like this cool tone thing that I tried yesterday.
I was like, let me just try. I want to
see what it feels like so I could tell people
about it. It's crazy. It feels like it's like electric
electric magnetic energy that like goes to your muscle and

(12:41):
contracts your muscle. It's like contractions and so.

Speaker 2 (12:45):
Does it hurt. No, No, you just kind of feel
like this weird.

Speaker 6 (12:49):
Yeah. Do you know when your hands are like your
feet go to sleep like that tingling feeling. It feels
like that for like eight seconds.

Speaker 2 (12:56):
Then goes away.

Speaker 6 (12:58):
The eight seconds it goes away.

Speaker 2 (12:59):
Okay.

Speaker 6 (13:00):
Yeah, so it was wild. And so I did it
on my thighs and you could see my muscle coming
off of my leg and then going back down coming off.

Speaker 2 (13:09):
And that's going to tone you, and it's supposed to
tone you. I need that in my hip area. So
they do it on like your your adamin.

Speaker 4 (13:16):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (13:17):
A girl did it on her butt like she isn't
supposed to like sculpt your butt, and you could see
her thigh muscle like coming off and her butt. It
was wild. OK So that's like one thing. I was
just like blown away.

Speaker 2 (13:29):
That's crazy. I need to go over there and see
what they could do for me. Yeah, make me look
and feel good. It's crazy.

Speaker 6 (13:33):
So but I mean, like obviously, like I go there
to just kind of feel good, and they have like
the peptides and like all the oh.

Speaker 2 (13:40):
They're so yeah. So I don't think I see that's
the thing. I don't think I do anything on a
regular basis.

Speaker 4 (13:47):
I do. My wife got me into the cold plungch thing.

Speaker 2 (13:49):
Yeah, and it actually as long as it's not too cold,
it does work for me. I can't go too cold.
It makes my ankle joints feel like they're about to explode.

Speaker 7 (13:56):
It.

Speaker 2 (13:56):
Oh, I hate it. I have bad ankles when I
was played soccer and skateboard it, so my ankles are
really bad.

Speaker 4 (14:02):
So if it's too cold, it's it hurts.

Speaker 2 (14:05):
But I get in like sixty degrees versus fifty degrees
and I'm good. I'll sit there for like five Feel
it's beneficial for you. Yeah, yeah, yeah, no, it's really so.
I like that.

Speaker 6 (14:15):
Well, you go for a walk. You guys walk a lot.

Speaker 2 (14:18):
We do go for walks. That's just to kind of
spend some time together and get because we don't get
to see each other and talk. We just basically that's
our talk time. Yeah, like our team meeting for the day.
But I don't really do anything on a regular basis.
I don't think that to feel and look good. I
tried to.

Speaker 4 (14:32):
We started the workout thing, but then I left for
Vegas for a week.

Speaker 2 (14:34):
Oh dang, I know. And then this week has been
wild because you know, Johnny's outs, we're doing extra work
and then I won't be home today, so it's like
it throws everything off.

Speaker 6 (14:42):
We got to stick to it, but next week you
better jump back off.

Speaker 2 (14:44):
Next week we're back on it. Yeah, yeah, yeah, for sure.
She's been doing pilates. She likes pilates.

Speaker 6 (14:49):
I do like nowadays that like celebrities or people are
just like, yeah, I get botox, Yeah I get this,
you know, because it's just like why be ashamed and
just be like, yeah, I do whatever I can.

Speaker 2 (14:59):
You know, of course, Look, the technology is available, and
if it doesn't hurt harm you and it makes you
feel good, who cares?

Speaker 4 (15:07):
So what do you do to make yourself look or
feel better? And it could be the gym.

Speaker 2 (15:12):
If it's the gym, great call us until absolutely Jim,
because good for you. I don't have the dedication I
wish I did. I don't care. I know it sounds crazy.
I don't care, but I want it. See but I
don't care.

Speaker 6 (15:24):
Yeah, you don't care enough.

Speaker 4 (15:26):
Yes, Like you.

Speaker 6 (15:27):
Don't have that motivation, which I mean, I don't you
put your motivation somewhere else?

Speaker 2 (15:31):
It's the last thing on my loop. Yeah, and my
wife kills me all the time, like you know you're
gonna die. I'm like yeah, and everybody is spoiler alert
story ends for everyone.

Speaker 8 (15:39):
Maybe just start stretching. I need to do that stretching
is good for it. I know there's like stretch labs. Yes,
I need that so bad.

Speaker 2 (15:46):
Okay, because I am the most inflexible person in the world,
ye like on my views and my body.

Speaker 6 (15:52):
But like they tell you, stretching is so important. I'm sure,
especially as you get older, if you don't use it,
you lose it.

Speaker 2 (15:58):
I'm certain it is. I believe that I need that
so bad. I need that so bad because I am
not flexible at all. Touch my toes please, can you?

Speaker 6 (16:06):
You can't know?

Speaker 4 (16:07):
I mean if I've been my knees, well, I mean
there ain't.

Speaker 2 (16:11):
No, I can't.

Speaker 4 (16:12):
I can't.

Speaker 2 (16:12):
I've never been flexible ever, even back in the day.

Speaker 6 (16:16):
I feel like you should be able to touch your toes.

Speaker 4 (16:18):
Okay, well I can't.

Speaker 2 (16:19):
I feel judged.

Speaker 6 (16:20):
Let's work on that, right.

Speaker 2 (16:22):
What do you do to feel better or look better?
And I'll try to touch my toes during the commercial
mark four oh seven nine nine one zero six seven
eight seven seven nine nine one zero six seven.

Speaker 4 (16:33):
You can hit us on the XMO. Well that's four
one oh six seven and hit send.

Speaker 2 (16:36):
Oh, We've got a couple of tickets to check out
The Craile Experience, Orlando's most colorful hands on family attraction.

Speaker 4 (16:41):
Just want to know what you do.

Speaker 2 (16:42):
To feel or look better. It could be anything. It
could be the gym, that's fine, just tell us. Maybe
we'll adopt it. Maybe if it's stretching, I need to
do that anyway you do. So what are you doing
to make yourself feel or look better? We'll talk to
you in about six minutes on Johnny's House. This traffic
report is funst Windows number one hit music station XL
one six seven Thursday morning, six fifty three, and you

(17:05):
are listening to Johnny's House talking about what you do
to make yourself feel better or look better?

Speaker 4 (17:12):
Rayce got the secret, really secret you tell everybody?

Speaker 6 (17:15):
Yeah exactly, I'm like, I'm not gay keeping anything?

Speaker 7 (17:18):
No?

Speaker 2 (17:18):
Was it forever young?

Speaker 9 (17:19):
Right?

Speaker 3 (17:19):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (17:19):
Forever young? It's where ideal image used to be.

Speaker 2 (17:22):
Yeah, I'm gonna go by there until i'm racent me
do it? Hey, let me get someone at a shocking on.

Speaker 6 (17:26):
My abb don't know exactly what you're talking about.

Speaker 2 (17:29):
Whatever y'all did to Ray, let me get some of that.
So what do you do to make yourself look better
or feel better? Dorothy from Okobe, how you doing?

Speaker 10 (17:38):
Hey, I'm good how are you guys?

Speaker 4 (17:39):
Not too bad?

Speaker 2 (17:40):
Not too bad?

Speaker 4 (17:40):
What do you do? Like little things that you do
to make yourself feel better or look better?

Speaker 11 (17:44):
So for me, honestly, it's like even when I work
from home and stuff, like I have to get ready,
Like I know this sounds silly, but like I have
to addressed for like, like I'm going to office, i
have to do my makeup because if not, I'm like
total funks for the day. And there's been times where I'm.

Speaker 10 (18:00):
Like, oh, I'm so tired, I want to do it,
and then.

Speaker 11 (18:03):
Like I'll be in a funk and then like as
soon as I like showered, do my hair or whatever,
like instantly feel better.

Speaker 2 (18:09):
I agree with that even though you don't need to
get ready, you just go ahead and get ready for
the day to make yourself feel better.

Speaker 11 (18:16):
Yeah, like it feels like you're ready to like take
on the day.

Speaker 7 (18:18):
You know.

Speaker 6 (18:19):
Yeah, that's pretty smart and so true because like I've
had somebody I don't know if it was like broadcasting
school and all that, but they were like, if you
get ready, you are ready for the day, like you
feel good about yourself, and when you don't, it's it's true.

Speaker 4 (18:33):
Right, you just feel like you're kind of like blow.

Speaker 6 (18:35):
Effort you put out, it's what you're going to get in.

Speaker 2 (18:37):
I get it.

Speaker 4 (18:37):
That makes sense.

Speaker 2 (18:38):
I feel like working from home though that'd be so hard.
It would be so there's days you don't want to
do it right, and then you just talk yourself into it.

Speaker 4 (18:45):
Anyway.

Speaker 11 (18:46):
Yeah, it's like, well, I like going to the office
because honestly, it's like like I like to be social
and stuff, and when I'm at home, like I feel
like you can slack easier, you know, like you're like, oh,
no one's watching me.

Speaker 2 (18:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (18:58):
Yeah, I feel the same.

Speaker 2 (18:59):
Like I know, it's like probably not exactly the same,
but like I have a studio at home, but given
the choice, I would come into the station, even though
it takes me thirty minutes to get here and do
my work here versus home. Like that, to me, that's
an emergency spot because it's just a different vibe. Yeah,
you feel like you're working when you're working. So yeah,
that's pretty smart. Well, thanks for calling. I gut some
tickets to check out the Craile Experience. You can have

(19:21):
Orlando's most colorful, hands on family attraction. Just hang on
one seconds. You got anything on the on social media
with a guy.

Speaker 6 (19:27):
So they said, actually going to the gym and getting
up in the morning is what makes them feel good.
Somebody said pickleball is their therapy, so they get out
and do that, and Victoria said botox feel you girl?

Speaker 4 (19:42):
Yeah yeah, like Ray said earlier, ain't nothing to be
embarrassed about.

Speaker 2 (19:46):
No's there.

Speaker 4 (19:47):
It's at your disposal. Just go ahead and use it.

Speaker 2 (19:50):
Excel Mobile Power by Attorney Dan Newlan interrect need a check,
It's a no brainer.

Speaker 4 (19:53):
Just call Attorney Dan Newland.

Speaker 2 (19:54):
Someone said they do more skincare They walk seven eight
miles a day, five days a week.

Speaker 6 (20:00):
That's great.

Speaker 4 (20:01):
Yeah, and four miles on the weekend.

Speaker 2 (20:04):
Good for you. It crazy? And then they say they
do some evening workouts via YouTube, even if it's just
fifteen minutes, which is cool.

Speaker 4 (20:11):
Does eat an ice cream count to make me feel better?

Speaker 2 (20:13):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (20:14):
I do that every night.

Speaker 2 (20:15):
There you go. Now that don't necessarily make me look better.

Speaker 6 (20:17):
So it makes you feel good.

Speaker 4 (20:18):
Helping in one area but hurting in the other.

Speaker 2 (20:20):
Era, Right, I think you're fine? Yeah, get me perfect.
So maybe I'll go see your friends and then I'll
go home. Eat the ice cream.

Speaker 6 (20:28):
The ice cream while you're getting your treatment done even better.

Speaker 2 (20:31):
I like that, even better tone up and fat enough
at the scene. I like that what you're working on.
In celebrity news, there's a villain from a movie that.

Speaker 5 (20:39):
Is now the Johnny's House Entertainment News three.

Speaker 6 (20:43):
All right, so Scary Movie six is now available on
digital and you know, go space. Yeah, villain that's in
Scary Movie right, well, it is now on Only Fans. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (20:56):
I don't know if it's a.

Speaker 8 (20:57):
Here or she, So I'm like, it's oh, in like
four costume.

Speaker 4 (21:00):
Yeah, got it?

Speaker 6 (21:02):
So, I mean the ghost Face is promoting the digital release,
obviously of Scary Movie six, and it's free to subscribe.
Carmen Electra even directed a teaser video for ghost Face
on Only Fans. It's pretty spicy if you want to
see it, Okay, but the parody version from the Scary
Movie franchise, obviously is what they're promoting. Yeah, Only Fans

(21:23):
page ghost Face listed the things they'll do and won't do,
including some like egg plant emjis and some other things. No,
but they were talking about like confessionals or steamy dms
and things like that.

Speaker 4 (21:40):
But I've never seen any of the Scary movies.

Speaker 6 (21:42):
It's funny though, because people people love ghost Face, you know,
like it's kind of like a I don't know, I
don't know how I've seen it, and I could see
there's people being like, oh, this is hot, Like I
love it. I could totally go to only Fans and
get like a steamy DM from ghost Face.

Speaker 4 (21:59):
Yeah, because like Halloween, people love Halloween stuff.

Speaker 6 (22:01):
Yeah, so fans can expect surprise collaborations with other cast
members and stuff on OnlyFans.

Speaker 2 (22:07):
Okay, there you got.

Speaker 4 (22:08):
I was expecting something different.

Speaker 6 (22:10):
But I know, I just thought it was so funny.
I mean, like you got to come up with creative
ways to promote video or movies nowadays.

Speaker 2 (22:16):
Yeah, I mean, I guess when you think only fans,
like your first thought is dirty thirty thirty step, But
I mean whatever.

Speaker 6 (22:23):
Ariana Grande has entered her first ever Emmy nomination. Cool
and so it's cool because the nominations came out like
weeks ago, but now they're talking about Wicked. One Wonderful
Night has updated basically her credit to list her as
a principal performer for the show. So this kind of
like the change that was made with some of the

(22:45):
Emmy nominees and like the Academy revisions now make it possible.

Speaker 2 (22:50):
For her to actually be knowledgeable to be nominated.

Speaker 7 (22:53):
Yea.

Speaker 6 (22:54):
So the production obviously picked up like six Emmy nominations
overall include like choreography and music direction and all that,
but now Ariana Grande is able to pick up an
Emmy for herself. The Emmys are going to air September
fourteenth on Peacock and NBC.

Speaker 2 (23:11):
It's crazy because I think Emmy's are like obviously prestigious.
I feel like so many people have them because there's
so many that you don't hear about exactly, Like there's
local people that are on daytime TV here have Emmy.
I have Emmys, and it's great, but you don't hear
about them, I know, because they just they give them
out locally, which I think is cool.

Speaker 6 (23:29):
It is really cool because it's not just like a
celebrity based thing, like a Hollywood thing totally.

Speaker 2 (23:33):
Yeah. So's there's local people that you watch every day
that have Emmys that you don't even know it probably,
which is pretty cool.

Speaker 6 (23:38):
I think William Shatner and his daughter Melanie, they both
fought cancer together. Well that's crazy, isn't it So they
were talking about it how they've been cancer free since
twenty twenty four, but before that they both fought stage
four at the same time. Wow, isn't that insane?

Speaker 4 (23:57):
That is crazy.

Speaker 2 (23:58):
Melanie was diagnosed.

Speaker 6 (23:59):
With metastic breast cancer. Yeah, and then eleven months later
is when William Shatner found out that he was diagnosed
with stage four melanoma.

Speaker 2 (24:10):
Wow.

Speaker 6 (24:10):
And so both of them to fight that together.

Speaker 2 (24:14):
It's kind of cool to have somebody to fight it with, Yes,
because it is a very scary thing and it's very
like time consuming and draining. To have somebody that like
literally understands it because they're going through it, it's kind
of cool.

Speaker 6 (24:26):
I could see how it's so like isolating too, but
you having somebody, especially your father.

Speaker 2 (24:31):
I guess.

Speaker 6 (24:31):
They did a joint interview for People magazine where they
talk about it, where Melanie said that she remembers vividly
thinking I don't have the strength to take care of
myself and lose my father at the same time.

Speaker 2 (24:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (24:43):
She also added like during the interview that her treatment
in like William Shatner gave her like a daddy bear
hug and like they were just doing it together.

Speaker 2 (24:51):
So I mean, it's a very terrible situation, but it's
cool that you have that. Yeah.

Speaker 6 (24:57):
But like they talk about medical bills and all that stuff,
because no matter how much money you have, medical bills
are still going to be there. Yeah, And he didn't
want her to worry about the finances and all of that.
So it's a really moving interview if you want to see.
It's People magazine.

Speaker 2 (25:11):
Yeah, it's an expensive fight. I know from getting the
bills from my mom.

Speaker 6 (25:15):
For a few years.

Speaker 2 (25:16):
It is really crazy. I guess it makes sense why
I wasn't allowed near William Shattner a couple of years
ago at Mega cont we did pictures with him. Oh yeah,
but you have to stand like a foot and a
half away from him.

Speaker 6 (25:26):
Well, I mean he was fighting cancer.

Speaker 2 (25:27):
Yeah, and he's a fragile dude who's been through some stuff.
So I was like making jokes in my head about,
oh my gosh, they put like a little box between
us so I can't get next to Captain Kirk. But
this is why. That's why, because he's like a national
treasure and he's going through stuff. Yeah.

Speaker 6 (25:40):
But I guess they also are launching a podcast, which
is cool as well, so they continue to continue to
talk about it. It's called No Time But Now, and
they're going to be interviewing like health experts and cancer survivors.

Speaker 2 (25:51):
That's cool.

Speaker 6 (25:52):
So if you're battling that or know somebody that is
No Time But Now is the podcast.

Speaker 2 (25:56):
That's cool.

Speaker 4 (25:56):
You guys can check that out.

Speaker 2 (25:57):
I had just time to play the throwback game. We're
going to ask you some questions. We're gonna help you
out this week. Make it a little bit easier because
without Johnny here, we decided to do no music this time. Okay,
it seems to trip some people up sometimes they can't
hear it when they don't know it. So we're gonna
ditch the music. We'll do movies, we'll do TV trivia,
we'll do pop trivia. I got tickets to see the
Google Dolls at the Mid Florida Credit Union Amphitheater in Tampa.

Speaker 4 (26:19):
So if you'd like to play the throwback game four.

Speaker 2 (26:22):
Oh seven nine one nine one zero six seven eight
seven seven nine one nine one zero six seven, call
us now the Throwback Game for tickets to see the
Goo Goo Dolls set.

Speaker 4 (26:31):
The Midfoid Credit Union Amphitheater.

Speaker 2 (26:33):
We'll play the foe back game in just a few
minutes since Johnny's House son XL one O six seven
xl one O six seven. It is Johnny's House seven
nine on a Thursday morning, and it's time for What's trending?
Brought you by Pineapple Healthcare locations in Orlando, Concimmy and
Lakeland Pineapple Healthcare. We are better together.

Speaker 3 (26:52):
Well.

Speaker 2 (26:52):
Chopical Storm birth Do is moving west now along the
northern Gulf Coast. That's a big girl. It is big
birth of the big burd So tropic storm warning is
still in effect along the Panhandle. Shouldn't really affect us
very much. It's weakening a little bit. We're gonna get
some rain over the weekend, but we're gonna miss the
worst part of this, and it's gonna start moving into
Texas and stuff like that.

Speaker 4 (27:13):
So it's still out there, but it ain't really out.

Speaker 2 (27:15):
There for us.

Speaker 4 (27:16):
Not something we really need to worry about.

Speaker 2 (27:18):
The House passed the bill yesterday that would ban members
of Congress from buying individual stocks why also requiring voters
to show photo identification to cast a ballot. So to me,
those like we don't get into politics much, but like
now I'm real big on common sense stuff like when
you enter an office and you aren't worth four hundred
million dollars and you only make one hundred thousand dollars
a year, and then you retire from that office and

(27:39):
you're worth four hundred thousand dollars.

Speaker 4 (27:40):
The math ain't math.

Speaker 2 (27:41):
Now now, because it makes sense. You were making some
stock trades that were very beneficial to you. So I
mean for us common folk, we will never get that opportunity.

Speaker 4 (27:50):
So now they get the trade stock like we do.

Speaker 2 (27:52):
I'm sure there's probably some you know, little details to
it that we don't know, but they said they just
don't want anyone who can trade stock on Wall Street
to have any sort of say in what gets done
governmental wise that that can affect stock prices that can
make you rich.

Speaker 6 (28:08):
Yeah, it's kind of like betting on things that you
have an inside like you shouldn't be able to bet
on things that you are a part.

Speaker 2 (28:15):
Of, which we've seen on this Calci stuff a lot
in the news lately, so I mean it's essentially insider
trading is what it is. So hopefully that that'll stop,
which is good. And Tesla's expanding its driverless robo taxi
service into Florida, and they added Orlando and Tampa to
the program. Miami's already testing. I saw a Waymo car

(28:36):
in my area over by Disney.

Speaker 6 (28:38):
I've seen them too now, but I see people driving them.

Speaker 2 (28:40):
Yes. So I was talking to a guy when I
was in Vegas and he was saying, they did the
same thing there. It's training them. So it's driving the
area so the car can learn the area and now
gets recording itself, like the data, not necessarily on video.
I see what you're saying, but GPS wise, it's recording itself.
So it's driving a route with a person in it, yes,

(29:02):
to learn, So now it won't have to have that
person anymore. Okay.

Speaker 6 (29:05):
Because I pulled up next one, I was like, oh,
there's nobody driving it. And I looked in and I
was like, yeah, oh, there's somebody driving.

Speaker 2 (29:09):
So the other morning, I was on my way here
and I saw Weamo by my house and I'm like,
wait a second, y'all. Don't y'all aren't in this area yet,
because I have the app and it's only good at
like kind of the universal sand Lake Courtor Okay, And
I did look over and it was a person behind
the wheel but they're training, and so the guy in
Vegas told me they did the same thing there to
terrain the cars, so then they won't need people and
it makes sense. So yeah, so that Tesla, though total

(29:31):
different program, they're gonna do it. Riders can request vehicles
through Tesla's robo taxi app. Their trips are going to
operate obviously without a driver behind the wheel. Tesla and
other companies are trying to get it into Orlando as
fast as possible because we have all the theme parks
here and it would just totally make sense. I look,
I was against Uber when it started. I thought it
was wild, right, but then it turned out being pretty good.

(29:54):
When this whole thing started, I think, wamo crazy. I
took one in Austin and I loved it. Yeah, So
like I'm totally against it, I'm kind of for it. Yeah.

Speaker 6 (30:03):
If it gets me there safely, that's all I'm concerned about.

Speaker 2 (30:06):
So I'm for it here locally. I like my Uber
drivers when I'm out of my area because they explain everything,
Like the conversation. They tell me about this, They tell
me about that. I had a nice Uber driver when
we were in Las Vegas. Tell me the way that
you can tell if a girl is a prostitute or not.
And so like I wouldn't get that from a yeah,

(30:26):
but I got it from my Uber driver. It's flip flops,
by the way, that's how you can tell. The working
girls wear flip flops really yeah, because they ain't trying
to look good, They're trying to keep their so they're comfortable. Yeah,
because their dogs are barking because they're walking up and
down the strip all day. So if they're wearing really
nice high heel shoes, they're not prostitute.

Speaker 4 (30:43):
Probably just out there having a good time.

Speaker 6 (30:45):
Well, look at that. You learn something new every day.

Speaker 2 (30:47):
Watch the feet flip flops, that's how you can tell.
And I would never have learned that from a driverless car.
Driverless car would have never told me that, But my
Uber driver told me that. Interesting. My son thought it
was real interesting. He learned that when we were in Vegas.
So there you go, and then that is what's trend.
To get time to play the throwback game. We got
questions today in movies, we got TV and we have
a throwback trivia.

Speaker 4 (31:10):
No move no music for you today. I have a
little easier on you.

Speaker 6 (31:12):
No music guys can't complain about the music, Nope.

Speaker 2 (31:14):
Win two tickets to check out the Google Dolls Mid
Florida Credit Union Amphitheater in Tampa. That's a little throwback
for Yeah, they're gonna be part of the iHeartRadio Music
Festival in September. So if you'd like to play the
throwback game right now four oh seven nine one nine
one zero six seven eight seven seven nine one nine
A one zero six seven tickets to see the Google
Dolls at the Mid Florida Credit Union Amphitheater in Tampa.
We will play the throw back game in just a

(31:36):
few minutes on Johnny's House, Free Orlando's number one hit
music station XL one six seven Johnny's House. On a
Thursday morning, it is seven twenty six. It's time to
play the throwback game. We asked you questions from back.

Speaker 4 (31:48):
In the day.

Speaker 2 (31:48):
We eliminated the music today since there's Jess Ray and myself,
so we're going movies. Then we're gonna go some old
school trivia, and then we'll do TV. The winner today
gonna get tickets to check out the Google Dolls Mid
Florida Credit An Amphitheater in Tampa. So let's go to
our first intestine, Stacy from Altamont Springs. Good morning, Good
morning Stacy. For the sake of the game, because it

(32:11):
is a throwback game, I needed how far we could
throw it back. How old are you? I'm thirty one.

Speaker 4 (32:16):
Thirty one? All right, that's pretty young. And have you
ever won before? Played before?

Speaker 2 (32:22):
I have not played at first time?

Speaker 6 (32:24):
Or do you still live in the generation where they
say Stacy's mom has got.

Speaker 2 (32:28):
It going on?

Speaker 3 (32:29):
Oh, I still get it.

Speaker 2 (32:30):
Will just checking.

Speaker 6 (32:32):
Just just didn't know if we're way past Yes, I
didn't even think about that.

Speaker 2 (32:37):
I would imagine that. I go, okay, I haven't heard
that one. Yeah, all right.

Speaker 4 (32:43):
We will start out with the movies.

Speaker 2 (32:44):
I'm gonna throw out the synopsis, so you tell me
what movie I'm talking about. And today it's all Robert
Downey Junior, because they just dropped the new trailer for
the next Avengers movie and everybody's losing their minds. All right,
So the first one, a billionaire genius who made his
four building weapons, is captured overseas.

Speaker 4 (33:01):
Instead of giving up, he builds a powerful.

Speaker 2 (33:03):
Metal suit and becomes the hero that no one expected.

Speaker 9 (33:09):
That is Iron Man.

Speaker 2 (33:10):
That is correct, that is iron man. A good job.

Speaker 4 (33:12):
It's a point for you. How about this one?

Speaker 2 (33:14):
With his wife's due date approaching, a successful businessman is
forced to take a cross country road trip with one
of the most annoying travel companions imaginable after getting kicked
off a plane.

Speaker 6 (33:26):
Oh, no, one, I don't know.

Speaker 4 (33:29):
It's in there.

Speaker 10 (33:32):
Get here one more time.

Speaker 2 (33:34):
With his wife's due date approaching, a successful businessman is
forced to take a cross country road trip with one
of the most annoying travel companions imaginable after getting kicked
off a plane.

Speaker 10 (33:44):
Is cross country?

Speaker 4 (33:46):
No, it's and if you haven't seen it, you've got
to watch it. Zach Galifanakis.

Speaker 2 (33:53):
It is hilarious. Oh my gosh, one of the funniest
movies I've ever seen. Really, yeah, it's so funny. You
gotta check it out. All right, He's got some old
trivia for you, some throwback trivia. All right?

Speaker 6 (34:04):
What celebrity adapted several children internationally during the two thousands,
drawing constant media attention.

Speaker 2 (34:13):
Got job? All right?

Speaker 6 (34:16):
What dance did soldier boy make famous?

Speaker 5 (34:21):
Oh?

Speaker 11 (34:22):
My god, Oh, bucker boy, you singing.

Speaker 2 (34:34):
Once? You do to that? Hope?

Speaker 4 (34:37):
Right, boker boy, it's there.

Speaker 6 (34:43):
Oh my god, No, it was Crank that.

Speaker 2 (34:53):
I know. It's all right. It's all right.

Speaker 8 (34:54):
That is one because I think I would have thrown
out Superman. Yeah, but it is Crank. That's what the
name of the song is.

Speaker 4 (35:02):
All right.

Speaker 2 (35:03):
So you got two points so far. That's fifty percent.
You're batting fifty percent. So let's go with some TV.
What was the name of Zach Morris's school on Saved
by the Bell? Was it Valley West, Beverly or Bayside?
It is Bayside, that is correct. Yeah, you're asking me
or you're telling me. I'm not sure, but you got
rid of the way. And on two and a half man,

(35:23):
what does Charlie's brother Alan Harper do for a living?

Speaker 6 (35:27):
Uh?

Speaker 7 (35:28):
Is he chiropractor?

Speaker 2 (35:30):
He is a chiropractor. That is, you got four points total.
Not bad because there's only three topics today, so that's
not too bad. Put you on hold one second, we'll
find out if you are the winner.

Speaker 4 (35:43):
You're going against Sabrina.

Speaker 2 (35:45):
Good morning, Good morning, And for the sake of the game,
how old are you, little younger?

Speaker 4 (35:53):
You have a little bit a handicap here the throwback questions?
And have you ever played before? All right? And you've
played the game before.

Speaker 2 (36:02):
No, no, all right for sever for you too cool.
All right, We're gonna start out with the movies. I'll
tell you the synopsis of the movie. You tell me
what the name of the movie is all Robert Downey Junior.
This week, teenage superhero tries to prove he belongs among
the Avengers while balancing high school life and taking on
serious criminals. Under the guys, he's an intern for Tony Stark.

Speaker 4 (36:25):
Oh, spider Man.

Speaker 2 (36:26):
That is correct. Spider Man is the correct answer.

Speaker 4 (36:29):
That is one point for you. How about this one?

Speaker 2 (36:31):
A wealthy businessman decides to go back to school to
encourage his son, creating chaos everywhere he goes.

Speaker 7 (36:43):
Did you repeat that?

Speaker 2 (36:44):
Yep? A wealthy businessman decides to go back to school
to encourage his son, creating chaos everywhere he goes.

Speaker 7 (36:54):
Oh jeez, hey, see you need to answer, just say
something anything anything, weird science.

Speaker 2 (37:10):
No, I was gonna use weird science. Back to school.
Rodney Dangerfield's the main star. Robert Donna Junior is his
son's friend, little crazy guy. All Right, all right, that's okay, that's.

Speaker 4 (37:22):
Okay, that's okay.

Speaker 2 (37:23):
BT in fifty percent that's where Stacey was at this
point in the game, too, race him old school pops trivia.

Speaker 6 (37:28):
Okay, what actor played Jack Sparrow and made pirate movies
cool again?

Speaker 7 (37:34):
Johnny Dupp?

Speaker 2 (37:35):
Good job?

Speaker 4 (37:36):
All right?

Speaker 6 (37:37):
What singers fan base became known as little monsters by
the end of the two thousands.

Speaker 11 (37:44):
Lady Gaga, good job?

Speaker 2 (37:45):
Correct?

Speaker 4 (37:46):
All right, you got three points, so you need one to.

Speaker 2 (37:48):
Tie, two to win. It is your game to win, Sabrina.
These are old school TV questions. What was the name
of the principal on Boy Meets World? Was it mister Belding,
Missus Teasley, or mister Feenie? It was correct, mister.

Speaker 4 (38:03):
All right, So now you're tied. Just want to win
it for you.

Speaker 2 (38:07):
What was the name of the barista on Friends that
was in love with Rachel? Oh, it's an easy one.
Once I tell you're gonna be like, oh my gosh,
I can.

Speaker 4 (38:25):
Uh No, not Jessica Gunther. It was the little white Hair.

Speaker 6 (38:34):
I don't think I would have done that either.

Speaker 2 (38:36):
No, gun No, I don't think I would.

Speaker 6 (38:37):
Have gotten that. Yeah, I totally blinked out on that.

Speaker 2 (38:40):
Well, I don't want to do it, but I gotta
go to the wheel. Oh boy, yeah, not my thing.
I'll bring Stacy. I've got Sabrina up. Unfortunately we got
to go to the wheel. I'm not gonna call you
a loser because you're tied. That's not my style. So
we're just gonna find out who's gonna win.

Speaker 7 (38:53):
Now.

Speaker 2 (38:54):
When Johnny gets back next week, he's gonna do it.
I'm gonna tell you right now.

Speaker 6 (38:57):
And he's gonna be hyped up to be back.

Speaker 4 (38:58):
Yeah, he's gonna be very excited to do it.

Speaker 2 (39:02):
All right, Well, the wheel has decided, and you know,
neither one of you have played or won before, so
you're gonna be a first time winner. Stacey is the
winner today. Congratulations Stacey took us and check out the
gooo dolls at the Midwater Credit Union Amphitheater. But Sabrinia
did a great job, So play again. All right, all right,
hang on one second, get you get information and we will

(39:23):
do that. Yeah, next week when Johnny comes back, tie, win, lose,
whatever it is. You gel being called a loser, y,
that's the way that it's gonna work. I'm just giving
you all the break, becau. Johnny ain't here. Ray's having
a little bit of problems at home, a little bit
stuff I've been through before.

Speaker 4 (39:36):
Yeah, and she needs some help. I'm gonna try to
help her.

Speaker 6 (39:39):
Next.

Speaker 2 (39:39):
On Orlando's number one hiting music station XL one O
six seven seven of thirty eights Thursday morning and listening
to Johnny's House. Came in this morning to a little
complaint on the XL mobile about Matt who's on that night.
We's on in the afternoon. That's now for Jane because
she's on vacation. Said something about Rihanna that they said
was out of line.

Speaker 7 (39:57):
Matt.

Speaker 2 (39:58):
Yeah, so just so.

Speaker 6 (40:00):
You know, but I get it. I want new music too.

Speaker 2 (40:02):
I feel you.

Speaker 4 (40:03):
I thought it was funny. I was listening to it.

Speaker 2 (40:05):
You can't make.

Speaker 6 (40:05):
Everybody happy, and I'm not gonna lie. People are sensitive nowadays.

Speaker 2 (40:09):
You can't make anybody.

Speaker 6 (40:10):
It is insane.

Speaker 2 (40:11):
There's someone on the XL mobile that's never listening to
any station I'm on ever again, Well, that eliminates about
thirty radio stations for them.

Speaker 6 (40:18):
They're boycotting Brian Grime.

Speaker 2 (40:19):
My hope is they go on a road trip and
they like old school hip hop and R and B
and they don't realize it, and they find me in another.
So that's my hope less than whatever. Yeah, it comes
with the job. Nothing's that serious. By today, I do
feel like the show is really running loose because I'm
trying to do a bunch of different no and I
feel like what happened Ray is the first two days

(40:41):
went fine and I got a little comfortable. Yeah yeah,
so then I stopped thinking because I've been overthinking to
make sure that everything runs right. But I'm like, oh, okay,
but a lot.

Speaker 6 (40:48):
Of people don't understand, like when you're hosting, Yeah, but
then you're also pressing the buttons, doing the sound effects.

Speaker 2 (40:54):
It's a lot.

Speaker 6 (40:55):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (40:55):
I mean, I'm not asking for sympathy. I'm just saying
today is a little loose and you may not get
exactly what you expect. And sorry that I'm not sorry whatever.

Speaker 6 (41:02):
We're just trying to keep the train on the rail
we are.

Speaker 2 (41:05):
But it is weird because I did get comfortable going
out and this morning I pointed a Ray to start
the show. Hey, good morning, gotcha, I gotcha. But I mean,
you got some stuff going on at your house though,
I do.

Speaker 4 (41:21):
That you need a little help with Can you tell
me what's going on with you?

Speaker 3 (41:24):
Read?

Speaker 6 (41:24):
Okay, so I'm not gonna lie. I've been the easy
going mom. I've been the mom that kind of like
hasn't really put her foot down that much. And uh,
speaking of trains, is off the rails at my house.
It is off the rails with the twins. And now
that they're getting older, they're very vocal, opinionated. They are

(41:44):
manipulated all of it because they know that they can
get away with it because yes, because i haven't put
my foot down and so now I'm at the point
where it's out of control. But also I'm blending families
and so I've put my circus in her house. Ah, yes,
and so now I have to get it under control.

Speaker 2 (42:06):
Yeah, and it is tough when you blend a home
because to an extent, in their eyes, not my circus,
not my clowns.

Speaker 6 (42:14):
Yeah. So but she's trying to help me, and so like,
obviously I am I don't know.

Speaker 2 (42:21):
I'm just trying to put my foot down now.

Speaker 6 (42:23):
And the crazy thing is is that we are having
a conversation and she's like the they're not going to
like you and that you have to accept that, and
I'm like, okay. When she said that, I'm it clicked Yeah,
it's going to be a point where they don't like
me because I have to put my foot down now
and they're not used to that.

Speaker 2 (42:40):
And so now I'm like, it's fine if you don't
like me.

Speaker 6 (42:44):
This is something I'm doing because it's going to be
better for their safety, for everybody's safety around them. They're
going to be respectful human beings. Like I don't want
them to be little jack holes, of course, and so
that's what they're I don't want to say they're turning
into jack holes at seven years old, but.

Speaker 4 (43:00):
Well, I mean I've been around your kids and like,
at their core, they're.

Speaker 6 (43:04):
Good kids, yes, and like in therapy they'll be like
they are very happy kids.

Speaker 2 (43:08):
Yes, they just haven't been put in a boundary. They're smart,
they're they're very creative, they're very like curious what you
want from your kids, Yes, they're they're.

Speaker 4 (43:19):
Also very active, very active, and so like that.

Speaker 2 (43:23):
And it can jump from you know, we're having a
little fun too, it's a damn zoo in like two
seconds two seconds. Yes, I've seen it, and so it
sometimes when I'm with them, it's my fault, yeah, because
I like to play with them. But it's like but
like they go, they're not your kids zero to one hundred.

Speaker 6 (43:38):
Yeah, so you're allowed to do that. They're not your kids.
But for me, being the ring leader of the circus,
I have to set those boundaries and I haven't done
that until now. I'm like, okay, I almost cursed, but
like s is on fire, everything is on fire because
I haven't been the unliked one. And now I'm like, Okay,

(43:58):
you're not gonna like me because we're changing. We're not
doing this anymore. You are going to be respectful human
beings and I'm.

Speaker 2 (44:04):
Not going to handle this anymore. And yeah, yesterday I
did this. Yeah, so I got super lucky because I
was also the fun parents with my son. My wife
was always the bad guy. Yeah, and that's because my
wife had gone through raising a kid before, Like when
I met her, my other son was five already. Yeah,
and thank goodness, he was like a quiet, like book smart,

(44:29):
didn't want to get into craziness. And there was no
social media, yeah to deal with and all the stuff kids,
so I didn't have to really worry about a circus.
I didn't walk into a circus, so, but I did
walk into like the warden, which is my wife. Yeah,
and I'm the you know, let the the criminals run
the asylum, of course, and she always hits me for it.
She's always like, You're always going to be the you know,
the cool, fun one because there's no fear when.

Speaker 4 (44:51):
It comes to you.

Speaker 6 (44:51):
And I'm not gonna lie that is going to be
their other mom, like and I already know that, and
I like, am I'm I'm okay with that because I cannot.
I'm trying to break like generational Like my parents didn't
care what I did, yes, you know, and I luckily
came out.

Speaker 2 (45:07):
A good human being, but like they're lucky.

Speaker 6 (45:10):
And I tell my parents all the time, you guys
are lucky that my sister and I are the way
that we are because we could have been in jail,
you know, like on drug still.

Speaker 2 (45:19):
Well, I will say, I think you guys, you and
and Kim now have a really good balance. Now I
know she's not officially the co parent. Yeah, but you
guys live together now, yes, because you now have the
same setup that I had with my wife, the you
and then the warden which no offense, Kim.

Speaker 6 (45:35):
Your no, and like I've never had structure, but I
need somebody to teach me structure so I can teach
my kids structure that I want.

Speaker 2 (45:41):
That dynamic is going to help you more than you know.
I know, because you can still be a little loose
as long as they respect the warden, which is what's
gonna happen.

Speaker 6 (45:49):
And that's what I'm trying to teach, that you need
to respect these people aka me and Kim and the
adults in your life.

Speaker 4 (45:56):
Yeah, there was a time my son finally broke me.

Speaker 2 (45:58):
He got me to the point where it's like, all right,
I'm done with with your shenanigans. And we were rough
for about a year and a half when he was,
you know, going through middle school into the early stages
of high school. And that's now we're rolling through Vegas
having a great time exactly. But I had to do it.

Speaker 6 (46:12):
And that's where I'm like, Okay, I'm at the point
now I am okay if you don't like me, okay.

Speaker 2 (46:17):
And so I'm like, what.

Speaker 6 (46:18):
Is that phase when you know your kids didn't like you,
but you had.

Speaker 2 (46:22):
To do it all right? So if you have some
suggestions for Ray, or if you've been through that yourself,
a phase where you know the kids didn't like you,
or maybe when you can remember when you were younger
and you went through that phase where your parents didn't
like you. Hit us up four oh seven nine one
nine one zero six seven eight seven seven nine one
nine one zero six seven four one.

Speaker 4 (46:40):
Oh six seven on the XL Mobile. That's Power by
Attorney Dan Newlan.

Speaker 2 (46:43):
Got Stellar Nights at the Orlando Science Center bringing your
favorite artists alive with incredible laser effects inside the all
new Dome. It's going on through August first. Full lineup
and tickets o sc dot org. Some advice for Ray
or when did your parents not like you?

Speaker 4 (46:56):
Are you new?

Speaker 5 (46:57):
You know?

Speaker 2 (46:57):
Kids ain't gonna like me. We want to hear from you.
On Johnny's House This trip Ari on the Grinde on
Orlando's number one hit music station XL one six seven.
Johnny's House on a Thursday morning, Get a seven fifty
five Ray.

Speaker 4 (47:10):
Got some drama going on at the house.

Speaker 2 (47:13):
I got animals.

Speaker 4 (47:14):
Gotta put a foot down, become that bad.

Speaker 6 (47:16):
I'll say, you guys are inspiring me, and you guys
have persuaded me to be the warden.

Speaker 2 (47:21):
Gotta do it.

Speaker 6 (47:21):
Put my foot down, be stern, crack the whip, all
the things.

Speaker 2 (47:24):
All those things, every single one up. So when to
find out from you when you went through that or
if you have some advice for Ray Renee?

Speaker 4 (47:31):
Good morning, good morning.

Speaker 2 (47:35):
What's your story? Did you have to go through that
the kids hated you? When we get some advice for Ray?

Speaker 7 (47:39):
Oh yeah, okay.

Speaker 10 (47:41):
So I teach middle school. Every year I go through
I went through this with my own two girls, and
I go through it every year at school with parents.
I'm like, going seventh grade is the alien year. They
hate you, they hate teachers, they hate their parents. They
think they know everything, and then they back to you.
So you just have to wait it out a year

(48:02):
and you just have to breathe and get through it.
But then be careful because it comes back their junior
year and they do it all over again.

Speaker 2 (48:09):
Oh my god, I.

Speaker 10 (48:10):
Don't get it. I don't understand this. But okay, we're
gonna get through this year. But I have a friend
right now who's going through it with a second grader.
He's like, well why he's questioning everything?

Speaker 2 (48:21):
Well why? Yeah?

Speaker 7 (48:22):
Why?

Speaker 3 (48:23):
So?

Speaker 10 (48:23):
I mean it just it's their hormones and their bodies
are changing.

Speaker 4 (48:28):
Yeah yeah, yeah, thanks for having here on one second.

Speaker 2 (48:30):
That is it? She's so dead on seventh grade. And
then my son eleventh grade, same thing. I had to
deal with that and I was a jerk in seventh grade.
That's the year I got thrown off the bus for
the whole year.

Speaker 6 (48:39):
My god, it's so funny because there's a tea or
a ninety teacher, a mom. She's struggling right now. She's
like my daughter's in seventh grade and she needs any advice.
So yeah, that's good.

Speaker 2 (48:47):
Seventh grade is when I got thrown off the bus
for a year for being a little jackass. The entire year,
I couldn't ride the bus because that was such a
jerk seventh grade.

Speaker 4 (48:53):
So yeah, that's that's exactly right. Carmen, Good morning.

Speaker 9 (48:58):
Morning.

Speaker 4 (48:58):
All right, so did you you go through it? You
got some advice for Ray? What's up?

Speaker 9 (49:03):
So this is talking me from like the child's point
of view, right, growing up, like my mom was tough,
like you know, like she was tough, she disciplined us whatever.
But thinking back on it, I just think of like
the good things, like you know, like I feel like
everything she she taught us growing up, like I use
it every day and now like our relationship is like

(49:24):
better and stronger if that makes sense. Yeah, Like, especially
being like the firstborn, Like I feel like it was
like like now like I'm like responsible, like I forget
the word, but like my siblings look up to me.
So I'm glad, Like she's you know, she's taught us
how she taught us bringing up that way.

Speaker 10 (49:41):
Now I can do the same for my siblings.

Speaker 2 (49:44):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (49:45):
Well, I appreciate you calling it because like I, like
I said, I didn't have structure growing up, and so
I don't know what it's like to have somebody like
crack the whip on me and then like be able
to turn around and be a good you know what
I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (49:56):
I don't know that concept both sides.

Speaker 4 (49:58):
Yeah, you've only seen one.

Speaker 6 (50:00):
So it's great that like as you get older, like
you know, you respect it and it made you guys
like closer.

Speaker 2 (50:07):
That's great. Thank you, Thanks for Carling, Carmen. Yeah, so
it's all good advice. There is someone on the x
Elmo will Power by Attorney Dan Neulin Interact need to check.

Speaker 4 (50:14):
It's a no brainer.

Speaker 2 (50:14):
Just call Attorney Dan neuland that says that they definitely
needed this because they're in the trenches right now with
their daughter. So one said, my mom was the stricter one,
but also always the one at all of my stuff.
So as long as you show up, oh yeah, you're
not just the warden, you're also everything else, which.

Speaker 6 (50:31):
I do show up.

Speaker 2 (50:32):
Yeah, everything, So that's good. All right, you'll make it through.

Speaker 6 (50:35):
Ray warden, Ray today. You will starts today. Yeah, they're
gonna be like, who the hell is it? Get back
on your meds. You're all over the place, lady. You're
nice to me, you're mean to me. I don't know
who this is. Oh my god, I swear if my
kids ever call out my meds, yeah, I swear.

Speaker 2 (50:50):
We appreciate all the advice.

Speaker 4 (50:51):
Right, what are you working on? Celebrity news?

Speaker 6 (50:53):
Elon Musk is gonna use AI to do something historic?

Speaker 2 (50:56):
Oh geez, yeah, look, I'm an Elon guy. But we'll
find out what it is after Hunters and Golden that's
exit want to six seven Thursday morning. You are listening
to Johnny's.

Speaker 5 (51:05):
House now, the Johnny's House Entertainment news. That's rae all right.

Speaker 6 (51:11):
So obviously The Odyssey right now is such a huge
movie in the box office.

Speaker 4 (51:15):
Someone hit me.

Speaker 2 (51:16):
It's like you have to go see it. In the theater.
You have to. You have to. You have to, even
if you have to get up and walk outside for
twenty seconds, really do it.

Speaker 6 (51:23):
Okay, But now Elon Musk is still talking about it
because you know he started Was he the one that
started it?

Speaker 2 (51:30):
Like where the like the the drama between like go
and not like the movie or was he.

Speaker 6 (51:35):
A part of that?

Speaker 4 (51:37):
He was or not?

Speaker 2 (51:38):
I know there was a big push because everyone said
it was woke and then you know, once you throw
the woke word out there, then it's then that army
jumps on it. Okay, and it went viral and they
had a bunch of dislikes on on the trailer and
so they said it was going to do bad and
then it was it's Mascus.

Speaker 6 (51:55):
So but he said, Elon Musk, before this year ends,
Grock and Imagine, Groc Imagine will basically make a full
length movie of the Odyssey that is historically accurate and
true to the art of Homer. So that's what he's saying.
The Groc that he has, the AI that he has
on the platform and everything. Yeah, he is actually going

(52:18):
to make sure that it does it historically accurate. So
if that were to fail, basically. He also agreed with
a fan suggestion to give mel Gibson one hundred million
dollars to make an accurate adaptation.

Speaker 2 (52:29):
So I don't know about all that.

Speaker 6 (52:31):
But Christopher Nolan previously compared the use of AI to
a trojan horse. He said, I think AI is a
trojan horse that everybody knows that the Greeks, you know,
are inside and all that stuff. But anyways, what he's
saying is that he basically wants to make a historically
accurate The Odyssey movie. Okay, so I'm guessing that he

(52:52):
didn't agree with it, or you know.

Speaker 2 (52:54):
I mean, I don't know. When you translate a lot
of things to film, they do take a creative life,
and some of it is to keep audiences entertained. You
can't just put everything that happened in real life on
the screen, even if something as simple as the movie
Straight out of Compton, which was the NWA story. They
do kind of gloss over things and change things a

(53:15):
little bit, so they think now to move the story along,
it's not exactly what happened. I don't think that Christopher
Nolan went out and made something completely opposite of the
home version of the Odyssey and it's not a literal adaptation.
So that's true.

Speaker 6 (53:30):
Okay, So I see what you're saying.

Speaker 2 (53:31):
Yeah, so there's only so much you could do, right.
I looked it up a little bit and it says
if you were going to score it, it would be
about eight out of ten as far as direct correlations.
But they do have to move things along, they do
have to kind of reduce things to it. The Odyssey
in real life would have been an Odyssey. If you
did the whole thing, it would be way more than
three hours.

Speaker 7 (53:51):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (53:51):
So, but the other herd News were the Odyssey. I
guess one of the people that John Lguizamo, I don't
know how to.

Speaker 2 (53:59):
Say this last time. Yeah, that's right.

Speaker 6 (54:00):
Actually, he wasn't able to see for twelve to fourteen
hours a day on sets because he had these contact
lenses he had to wear, and he had to be
escorted to and from the bathroom to eat, And I like,
I don't know, so you had to wear these contact lenses.
I thought that was really cool that he had to
be escorted everywhere when he was filming the movie.

Speaker 2 (54:18):
Yeah, And a lot of it is some of these actors.
They are pretty outspoken, on one side or the other.
And so that's going to rub you the wrong way
because now you your opinion is tainted by what you
think of them as a person. So you're not even
looking at what they did on the screen. You're thinking, well,
I don't like his views, so I don't like this
version of the story. But really, you have to be
able to restrict your ears, your personal feelings for the

(54:41):
person away from the movie if you want to get
a real feel of what the movie's supposed to be about.

Speaker 3 (54:45):
Yea.

Speaker 6 (54:45):
Also, Conan O'Brien is responding to the harsh criticism. I
don't know if you saw this over his viral slipped
back hair style.

Speaker 4 (54:54):
I saw there, like Conan O'Brien changed his head.

Speaker 6 (54:56):
Yeah, I feel like he's very popular for his little
haird that he because it's like red and like, you know, different.

Speaker 2 (55:02):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (55:03):
So, he revealed that the new hairdow was caused by
oil he applied to treat a painful scalp sunburn. If
you've ever had your head sunburned, it hurts.

Speaker 2 (55:15):
It hurts so bad.

Speaker 6 (55:17):
So he described the aftermath of the burn saying he's like,
I feel like my skull is on fire and he
was joking that he like is a grease ball because
he had to put some oil on it to basically
make his head feel better. Okay, so he's not trying
out a new hairstyle. That one viral, it's just because
he had a sunburn.

Speaker 2 (55:32):
You gotta be careful when you comment on people's stuff
because you don't know why they did what they did. Yeah, Like,
I talked about it briefly. The other day. I was
supposed to go to Burn's Steakhouse, Oh yeah, for my anniversary,
and my reservation got canceled last minute by the restaurant.
I didn't know why. I just got a text saying
it was canceled, and my first thought was to rail

(55:52):
on the restaurant. Huh.

Speaker 3 (55:55):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (55:55):
How could you do that to my anniversary. I've been
waiting forever. I had three months for the head chef
passed away. Now, had I gosh, had I have gone
on and railed on social media.

Speaker 6 (56:04):
About somebody would have commented him and like listen jackal
the next.

Speaker 2 (56:08):
Day because I didn't know what it was about. See
the they released the news the next day. If you
would have waited, Codin O'Brien might have told you why
he did that to me. You didn't have to rail
on him. My point is you don't know what people
are doing and why they're doing what they're doing.

Speaker 6 (56:19):
So take a second look at these lessons we're teaching people.

Speaker 2 (56:22):
Just reread for a second. No, that's good for a second,
all right. A lot of times, because of the radio
station that we work on, we're accused of playing these
same songs over and over again. Turns out it might
be what you guys want sunder Orlando's number one hit
music station XL one oh six seven Johnny's House on
a Thursday morning, it is eight eleven now.

Speaker 4 (56:41):
A lot of times because we do top forty radio,
everyone's like.

Speaker 2 (56:44):
Man, you play that song again. Yeah, I play that
song all the time. We have to. And what and
there are you know, every week, a core set of
songs that, according to research, according to you know, what's popular,
those are the ones everybody wants to hear, so those
play the most. So they just did a study and
it says we actually like listening to the same thing
over and over and over and over again. They say

(57:06):
fans listen to their favorite song three hundred and forty
three times a year. On average. Wow, it's at least
once a day almost, because there's probably days where you
might listen to anything, whatever that might be. They only
have six artists core artists in their rotation at any
one time, it says according to this study, they did
a big, extensive study.

Speaker 6 (57:27):
I could see that.

Speaker 2 (57:28):
So six core artists and that favorite song that you
love three hundred and forty three times a year on average.
Does that sound right to you?

Speaker 6 (57:36):
I think that's act.

Speaker 2 (57:36):
Yeah, yeah, I would. Yeah, so I probably listen to
I don't really have a favorite song, which is weird,
like when songs come out, like I get on a
run where I like to listen to that song a lot,
but then something else comes along and I move on
to the next one. There are some of the older
ones that I like that just kind of stick with me. Yeah,
so I would probably say that's probably accurate. And when

(57:57):
you do that year into the year round up, I know,
the iHeart Radio app does it, some of the other
streaming services do it.

Speaker 6 (58:02):
You'll see it'll tell you exactly like your favorite song,
your favorite artists. But I don't think I only have
six core artists. I think for me, that's where it's different.
Because like I put So here's how I put together
my playlist. I always put together like playlists or you know,
whatever I'm trying to listen to based on like listening.

Speaker 2 (58:18):
For a long stretch of time. So like I have
a pool one, like if we're out in the pool
for hours.

Speaker 6 (58:22):
You have a playlist for that.

Speaker 4 (58:23):
But it's got so many different things on it.

Speaker 2 (58:26):
And it literally spans from the seventies the sixties because
I like the Beatles all the way into stuff from today,
and so there's way more than six.

Speaker 4 (58:34):
Core artists on that.

Speaker 2 (58:35):
Yeah, same with when we do a boat playlist, like
and I have one for when I'm doing my yard work,
and so for me, like it can go from something
from this week to something from nineteen eighty seven. Yeah,
just like that. So I don't have the six core artists.

Speaker 6 (58:46):
So I don't have like playlists like that, you know,
unless there's like a festival, you know, warped tours around
the corner. So I have a playlist for like all
the different artists. But like if I'm driving to my parents,
which takes like two and a half hours, I'll I'll
put on like art Radio or something like No, just
like one a one artist, one artist, really, yes, and
so I'll go through like their whole catalog from like

(59:08):
you know, like if Rihanna the early two thousands, Rihanna
going all the way to like her latest album.

Speaker 2 (59:13):
So two hours of Rihanna.

Speaker 6 (59:14):
So yes, I'll do like or maybe like an hour
of Rihanna and then like forty five minutes of Justin Bieber.

Speaker 2 (59:19):
And never do I'll do that.

Speaker 4 (59:21):
I can never do that.

Speaker 6 (59:22):
And that's why, like I kind of agree with the
top six because I have sat there and listened to
a whole catalog of an artist.

Speaker 4 (59:29):
That's crazy. I never I never do that.

Speaker 2 (59:32):
Yeah, that is so weird. So how about you, guys?
Do you listen to your your favorite song? Would you
say three hundred and forty three times a year on average? Like,
do you listen to it over and over and over again?
Do you have a six artist that's what they say
is the average in rotation at any one time? Do
you do like Ray and just set one artist and
listen forever? Just curious how you listen to the music?

(59:53):
Hit us up four oh seven nine one nine one
zero six seven eight seven seven nine one nine one
zero six seven A four.

Speaker 4 (59:59):
One oh six seven and HiT's in on the XL mobile.

Speaker 2 (01:00:01):
We do have a pair of Crayol experienced tickets line
around that we can get with Orlando's most colorful, hands
on family attraction. Just trying to find out how you
listen to the music so we can make sure you
get the music that you want. So call us now
in Johnny's House this six seven, Orlando's number one hit
music station eight twenty seven, that you are listening to
Johnny's House on the Thursday morning talking about music and

(01:00:24):
what you like to listen to. A study says you
like to listen to the same thing over and over again.
Even though y'all tell me you don't, this study says
you do. They say you listen to your favorite song
and average of three hundred and forty three times a year.

Speaker 4 (01:00:37):
You only have six artist a lot.

Speaker 6 (01:00:38):
When you think about like how many.

Speaker 2 (01:00:40):
Days or in a year, it's almost once a day. Yeah,
But like there's some songs you hear more than once
a day. Especially if you're listening to us all day.

Speaker 4 (01:00:47):
You're definitely gonna hear some things more than once a day.

Speaker 2 (01:00:51):
They say you have core artists of people, listen to
six of them is all you have at any one time,
so you don't have like a giant, like you know,
library of different artists that you listen to. And they
say people are content with being stuck in the same loop.
They said a lot of people twenty seven percent, do
not want to broaden their horizons. They do not want
to hear new music.

Speaker 6 (01:01:11):
I feel like that's how I feel sometimes like I
love hearing new music, but I whenever I'm in my car,
it's always old stuff, always old.

Speaker 2 (01:01:20):
Stuff, right, because you get you want to get into
the vibe in the zone, like you want you know,
you want what you want.

Speaker 6 (01:01:25):
Uh huh.

Speaker 2 (01:01:25):
I feel like it's when you go to a restaurant
you order the same thing over and over again. Yeah,
because you're you comfortable.

Speaker 4 (01:01:29):
I like it, I know what I like.

Speaker 2 (01:01:30):
I try something new, I might not like it. I mean,
then with music, you could just hit skip or whatever.
It's weird though, because sixty five percent say they want
to listen to new music. Okay, So it's like it's
like almost split down the middle of the people that
don't want to hear new music and the people that
do want to hear new music. Not everybody does the
album start to finish like you do Ray. No. No,
They say only forty one percent of people who have

(01:01:51):
listened to an album from start to finish in the
last year okay, and eight percent say they've never listened
to one Start to Finish.

Speaker 6 (01:01:57):
See, like when Justin Bieber dropped his new albums Start
to Finish, Start to Finish.

Speaker 2 (01:02:01):
Yeah, with one of Drake's new albums when it dropped.
And some of it's because I feel like I need
to do it because I work here. But there are
some artists that I that I like that I listened
and when they come on tour and they like, they'll
do like we're playing just this album Start to Finish.
I love that because I get to go watch that
album live. Blink one two did it less than Jake
did it.

Speaker 4 (01:02:20):
It was a band that I like.

Speaker 2 (01:02:22):
So is there a song right now that you feel
like you listen to more than other songs?

Speaker 6 (01:02:27):
I feel like right now not really, no, no, because
right now I'm going through like a podcast kind.

Speaker 2 (01:02:31):
Of like okay binge.

Speaker 6 (01:02:33):
Yeah, So there's not really any music that I listened
to over and over again.

Speaker 2 (01:02:37):
Yeah, there's two that I listen to right now, okay,
and I feel like I listened to them more than
anything else right now. So by the end of the
year of death, before three hundred and forty three times
one is it's Tim mcgrawl and it's because I heard
it on Yellowstone. It's the Cowboy and me. I just
like the message of that song. What It's a good song,
a country song. It's a little slower, but it's a

(01:02:59):
good song. The lyrics speak to me. And then Cage
the Elephant, Ain't No Rest for the Wicked. I love
that song.

Speaker 6 (01:03:06):
Really.

Speaker 4 (01:03:07):
I listen to that song every single day.

Speaker 2 (01:03:09):
That's a good song. Yeah. I listen to that song
every single day. Okay, So for me, like I will
get to three hundred and forty three times probably more
of that.

Speaker 8 (01:03:19):
Song before the end of the year. Yeah, that's a
good one for sure. That's a great song.

Speaker 2 (01:03:21):
Do you do it like before work? Sometimes on my
way into work, I listen to it like it's just
I don't know the same thing that I First of all,
it's got a good vibe to it, that song, but
it also has the lyrics just speak to me like.

Speaker 6 (01:03:35):
It's just and that's what music's supposed to do, you know,
That's why I do it. There's a lot of people
that do like the playlist or whatever. They have a
playlist from like the nineties and two thousands. A song
from the nineties and early two thousands, this is from
Kevin on the stream and like they're just like breaking
it out full concert, so like that that's what makes
them happy. But it's not like repetitive.

Speaker 2 (01:03:56):
Yeah, I feel like I want to hear what I like.
But if you throw a something new every now and then,
I'm cool with it.

Speaker 6 (01:04:01):
But they pick, like you know, Jen said that she
picks like a decade and like listens to that decade
of music, right, But see if.

Speaker 4 (01:04:09):
You if you do that, that's fine.

Speaker 2 (01:04:11):
Like, if you do this decade, you're gonna get a
lot of repetition because they're now. More like if you
do the eighties, there's so many random artists like had
big hits and then just disappeared. Like now you're going
to get a lot of these Arian Grande, Sabrina Carpenter,
Olivia Rodrew and they all have multiple big hits.

Speaker 4 (01:04:30):
Yep, So you'll hear a lot of repetition.

Speaker 2 (01:04:32):
I think if you do a newer decade versus an
older decade, where you might hear a wider variety of artists. True,
because the core artists now just bang out hits because
you don't have. Back in the day, you had to wait,
like you dropped a new album every couple of years. Now,
with streaming and getting into the studio, you drop a
single as often as you want.

Speaker 4 (01:04:50):
Look at Drake three albums at once.

Speaker 10 (01:04:51):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:04:52):
So I feel like now you will get a lot
of repetition if you listen.

Speaker 2 (01:04:54):
To newer artists.

Speaker 4 (01:04:55):
I agree, yeah, but I mean apparently people like it.

Speaker 6 (01:04:58):
So somebody said research life you, but I didn't do
the research. I gotta pay attention more to what songs
I put on over and over again.

Speaker 2 (01:05:06):
Yeah. Now the end of the years when you pay
attention when they sent you your little recaver and you're like,
oh wow, really I listened to that. I know what mine's
gonna say at the end of the year. Tim McGrath
cage yellysant, I don't care. I like emless do it
on the way home today, own it. I am.

Speaker 4 (01:05:18):
I saw this yesterday and I.

Speaker 2 (01:05:21):
Heard a lot. You've heard a lot rules or maybe
you are listening to Johnny's House. So I saw this
yesterday posted and I think it's something that people have
said forever rules are made to be broken.

Speaker 4 (01:05:32):
Yep, can't hold me back and do what I want.

Speaker 2 (01:05:36):
And so I thought to myself, Yeah, I mean, obviously
I've heard that before, and I've said that before. But
then at the same time, you guys know I'm a
stickler for certain rules. And somebody already said it in
the live stream. Oh here comes the ten autumns or
last line. Damn right, damn right, every time we talk
about rules, because I say, society crumbles if you don't
follow the little rules.

Speaker 4 (01:05:55):
I'm going to bring that one up, of course.

Speaker 6 (01:05:57):
And we're talking rules, not laws. So the person that
messaged me talking about breaking a law, we're not talking
about that.

Speaker 2 (01:06:02):
We're talking about.

Speaker 4 (01:06:02):
Rules, okay, and now I agree with you.

Speaker 2 (01:06:05):
But the speed limit is a rule and a law
that nobody adheres to. Okay, if you're in a school
zone and you speed, you're a jackass. But other than that,
that's a rule that I feel like people will always
say is made to be broken. I like to say
it's just a suggestion. I said that to a police
officer when he stopped me once. He did not think

(01:06:26):
it was fun. Yeah, okay, you got me there. You
got there with the speed limit, right, So that's what
that's I mean, that's one of the examples where like
rules are made to be broken, but like the ten
items are less line, I will stick to that and
I don't break that rule. So are there rules that
you think are okay to break or that you would

(01:06:47):
say you break on a regular basis? The rules absolutely made.

Speaker 6 (01:06:52):
To be I feel like the rules that I'm thinking
of are like stupid, Like they're like fashion rules like
don't wear white after every day, Like nobody cares about that.

Speaker 4 (01:07:00):
I don't think anyone does.

Speaker 6 (01:07:01):
Okay, And then like mixing like metals, mixing gold and
silver like jewelry. I feel like that shouldn't be a
rule though that's never hurt.

Speaker 4 (01:07:08):
That rule because I don't care about fashion.

Speaker 6 (01:07:10):
But okay, I'm trying to think what else, But like,
those are the rules that I'm thinking my head.

Speaker 2 (01:07:14):
Okay, not serious stuff obviously.

Speaker 6 (01:07:17):
One that we talked about earlier this week, there's a
rule that you shouldn't really talk about your salary or
how much you make. Do you think that should be broken?

Speaker 2 (01:07:24):
Absolutely? I think that rule is put in place by
the suits to keep us from talking to each other.

Speaker 4 (01:07:30):
So we won't know that we're getting screwed.

Speaker 2 (01:07:32):
Okay. I wholeheartedly believe that you should talk money with
your coworkers. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:07:37):
One.

Speaker 2 (01:07:38):
I think the people that don't want you to do
it are the ones that probably don't think they earn
the money they make, and then the people that are
handing out the money, they don't want you to do
it because then you're gonna find out that's how unionized
stuff happens. Yeah. So yeah, I that is a rule
that has been a rule forever. You don't talk salary
with the coworkers, and I absolutely break it.

Speaker 6 (01:07:56):
Did you always wait thirty minutes before going swimming?

Speaker 4 (01:07:59):
Nope? After you ate, yep, And I didn't sink either,
and you're gonna sink? Like, what do you mean I'm
gonna say?

Speaker 2 (01:08:05):
I always driven?

Speaker 6 (01:08:06):
Are you like you're gonna get sick or you're gonna
get cramps or whatever?

Speaker 3 (01:08:09):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (01:08:09):
No, I never did.

Speaker 2 (01:08:09):
But I used to tell my son that when I
would any because I wanted to break from the pool,
Hey man would just say, you gotta wait thirty minutes,
and so Daddy gets it down for a minute. If
I used to tell my son that, Okay, I used
to tell my son that So, what rules do you
think are absolutely made to be broken?

Speaker 4 (01:08:24):
And what rules maybe shouldn't be broken?

Speaker 2 (01:08:25):
Hit us up four oh seven nine one nine one
zero six seven eight seven seven nine one nine one
zero six seven XL we well that's four one oh
six seven and hit send.

Speaker 4 (01:08:33):
You can hit us up there. We got tickets to the.

Speaker 2 (01:08:35):
Crayole Experience, Orlando's most colorful hands on Family, Orlando's number
one hit music station XL one O six seven Johnny's
House on a Thursday morning, it is eight forty five,
talking about the the old adage.

Speaker 4 (01:08:46):
That rules were made to be broken.

Speaker 2 (01:08:49):
Some of them, maybe, yes, a.

Speaker 4 (01:08:52):
Lot of them. I say no.

Speaker 2 (01:08:53):
It's hard for me because I get called a hypocrite
because I am a I'm a rule follower, yes of course.

Speaker 6 (01:08:58):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (01:08:58):
And so when I say, well, it's okay to do
this but not that, but I mean some of its
common sense and logic. And we're humans, like we're to
make mistakes. We're supposed to be civilized, though, when you're
not supposed to just do things all willy nilly, and
there's rules in place for a reason.

Speaker 4 (01:09:12):
Without rules, there's no society. That's all I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (01:09:15):
Amen.

Speaker 4 (01:09:17):
So now from cassemi, how you doing?

Speaker 5 (01:09:18):
Man?

Speaker 3 (01:09:19):
I'm doing great. How are you?

Speaker 2 (01:09:21):
How you doing?

Speaker 4 (01:09:21):
So you think rules are made to be broken?

Speaker 3 (01:09:25):
Yeah, I mean yeah they should.

Speaker 2 (01:09:27):
Okay, Well what moves a little bit?

Speaker 4 (01:09:29):
What rules would you say are okay to break?

Speaker 3 (01:09:32):
Okay, there's some rules from some family members, friends and
even people you don't know. You come to the house
and they wanted to take the shoes off the front door. Yeah,
there's sometimes you work, you know, when you work in
construction or if you're a gardener, you got you know,
your shoes are gonna get thirty or food a're gonna
get thirty. And sometimes if he come home or you're

(01:09:55):
rushing home, there's an emergency. You just don't have time
to take off the boots.

Speaker 2 (01:09:59):
You have to go boom.

Speaker 6 (01:10:01):
Okay, I understand an emergency, but how often are you
running into emergencies inside your home?

Speaker 7 (01:10:07):
Right?

Speaker 2 (01:10:07):
Is like a bear inside attacking the family. You need
to get inside fast to mean.

Speaker 3 (01:10:11):
Yeah, I'm just saying once twice a month maybe, but
still every day you come home, you got to take
the shoes off. So I kind of get thredictous.

Speaker 4 (01:10:20):
This is at your own home.

Speaker 2 (01:10:21):
You want to break the rule.

Speaker 4 (01:10:25):
That's a whole different.

Speaker 2 (01:10:25):
Break, that's a whole different problem.

Speaker 4 (01:10:29):
You don't like ruing your own house.

Speaker 2 (01:10:31):
That's your home. Whatever, do what you want, right. See,
that's where it's kind of a gray area because that's
also your home. Now, if you come to my house
and my rule in my house is no shoes past
the front door, then you better take it down.

Speaker 3 (01:10:44):
I've been I've been to places where they've had the
shoe match or those shoe covers, yeah at the door
and you take one like a like a plastic glove, yeah,
and they make you put them on.

Speaker 2 (01:10:54):
Yeah. I would rather not go to a place like
that personally, because I'm now afraid I'm gonna touch anything
and mess it up.

Speaker 4 (01:10:59):
Because now you got me scared, like personally.

Speaker 2 (01:11:03):
But like if I like, we have a little thing
at my front door it's kind of like a like
a box and there's shoes in it.

Speaker 4 (01:11:09):
Yeah, because it's like my my slides and stuff are
in there.

Speaker 2 (01:11:11):
So when I take the trash, so to me, when
people get to the house, they say, okay, this is
a no shoes in the house.

Speaker 12 (01:11:16):
No.

Speaker 2 (01:11:16):
Yeah, Now if you if you didn't take your shoes off,
I wouldn't make a big deal about it.

Speaker 4 (01:11:21):
But I would be like, no one else in here
got shoes.

Speaker 2 (01:11:25):
You don't see that. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:11:26):
Yeah, but sometimes you know, you prepare because sometimes we
go to the residence and and there's a row of
shoes outside before, so you kind of know that, hey,
we got to take our shoes off or they're going
to have to cover it.

Speaker 6 (01:11:38):
But I will say, like, if we have a worker
that comes into the house, like, I'm not going to
make him like they just changed the blinds in our house.
I'm not going to be like, yo, bro, take your
shoes off, like he's a worker coming in doing something
and then leaving.

Speaker 4 (01:11:49):
Okay, I can see what you're saying there.

Speaker 7 (01:11:51):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (01:11:52):
I've been in situations where it didn't matter you need
to take off Yeah, changed the cover?

Speaker 4 (01:11:57):
Yeah yeahant about that. Yeah I can see that.

Speaker 2 (01:12:01):
You know, look, some people got funky feet too, so
they don't want to take their shoes off. True, because
if you've got hammer time going on and you don't
want people to see it, now, I'm like, oh damn.

Speaker 4 (01:12:08):
I like, or you got socks and a hole in them?
You got a hole in your socks, or.

Speaker 6 (01:12:12):
If you know your your feet stank.

Speaker 2 (01:12:13):
Yes, so you got to be careful where you go. Yes,
what have you got the itchy foot? Now you're spreading it.
I'm trying to keep you from getting the itchy Foot's
why I'm leaving my shoe on.

Speaker 4 (01:12:24):
See, so now you could do that. Hang on one second.

Speaker 2 (01:12:25):
That's I look his case. It's his house. So he's
just trying to not take a shoes off in his
own house. That's a situation between him and whoever he
lives with and got nothing. Shirt with me XL Mobile
Power by Attorney Dan Newlin Interact need to check.

Speaker 4 (01:12:38):
It's a no brainer. Just call Attorney Dan Newlan.

Speaker 2 (01:12:41):
Someone said one of the rules you cannot break is
wearing white to a wedding.

Speaker 6 (01:12:45):
Oh yeah, I think that's a rule that.

Speaker 4 (01:12:47):
Yes, can't do that. Someone's just trying to piss me off.

Speaker 2 (01:12:51):
They said, the number one rule that needs to be
broken is the ten items are less line. People with
ten items are less. Can wait. See that's the problem
with civilization and society right there. We're just doing that
to push you, right, They're just trying to push my buttons.

Speaker 6 (01:13:04):
Yeah yeah, somebody said, uh no, no, not all the time,
but maybe sometimes you can eat your dessert first. That
should be like a rule that's like, you're an adult,
do what you want.

Speaker 2 (01:13:15):
You can eat dessert for dinner. As far as I'm concerned,
I don't care.

Speaker 6 (01:13:18):
Yeah, somebody said the official OO rules prison rules only,
no mercy.

Speaker 4 (01:13:24):
Okay, okay.

Speaker 2 (01:13:26):
Games like that cause problems because you absolutely you've seen
me ruin a game night. Absolutely, yes, I have because
rules weren't followed.

Speaker 8 (01:13:34):
We haven't had a game night since we've There's.

Speaker 6 (01:13:38):
Families that should not be having game nights.

Speaker 2 (01:13:40):
Yeah, well, there's people that should be following the rules.
I get you don't follow the rules. I gotta tell
you don't follow the rules. That's going to cause a problem.
And someone is a little put off by you, Ray,
Why because you mix metals?

Speaker 6 (01:13:51):
See what I'm saying. People get so irritated with that.

Speaker 2 (01:13:54):
I was unaware that's such a big deal. But Ray
mixes metals.

Speaker 6 (01:13:58):
You if I want to wear silver with gold, I.

Speaker 2 (01:14:00):
Will, all right, what's your metal mixed?

Speaker 4 (01:14:04):
And ass have in celebrity news coming up.

Speaker 6 (01:14:06):
Let's see here we're gonna talk about mega markele, ruffle
and some feathers. Oh on set somewhere.

Speaker 4 (01:14:11):
All right after Gracie Abrams. That's so true. Johnny's House
on x I one to six.

Speaker 5 (01:14:16):
Now the Johnny's House Entertainment News three.

Speaker 6 (01:14:20):
All right, so there is the Master Chef Australia. I
know you guys watch Master Chef.

Speaker 2 (01:14:25):
Don't you.

Speaker 4 (01:14:25):
Yeah, we watched the local one.

Speaker 7 (01:14:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (01:14:26):
Yeah, So there's the Master Chef Australia. And I guess
Mega Markle was a guest and doing an appearance on
the show and allegedly left a little upset and then
left some other people upset on the show because Mega
Markle's team had instructed producers not to refer her as
ex royalty or royalty whatsoever. Okay, and so they actually

(01:14:52):
did refer to her as royalty during the Master Chef
Australia promotional segment, and so that is why they're upset.
And she was upset, and I guess there was like
some drama between her and the producers.

Speaker 2 (01:15:03):
Okay, But I mean if they did that, then they're
out of line because that was part of the deal. Yes,
like if I make the deal to come on and
this is what you're not like. And look, when I
started in the radio, I used to break that rule. Yeah,
because I was like, I'm the I'm the jerky guy.
And so when you tell us don't ask this, I'm
gonna wait till the interviews that almost over, and I'm.

Speaker 6 (01:15:21):
Going to ask it.

Speaker 2 (01:15:22):
Yeah, they told you not to do it, and you
did it, and you got the result that you didn't want. Well,
then that's what happened.

Speaker 6 (01:15:28):
So one of the judges said that he was upset
because she had been unintentionally drawn into a royal protocol
issue she never intended to be a part of. And
so sources are also claiming on camera exchanges between Megamarkel
and the judge were edited out because he playfully was
like playing along the personality that you know, didn't it

(01:15:49):
didn't land well with Megamarkel. Okay, So his little playful
personality didn't land well with her, and so they had
to edit that out.

Speaker 2 (01:15:56):
That's weird because they were like, this is awkward for television,
so they're editing it out. I don't think life in
general went the way that they thought it would. Harry
and Megan, Yeah, because they're there's stories now that they're
gonna actually bail on the US really and they're gonna
go back. They're gonna they're gonna go well, they're gonna
go it somewhere in between. They having a state I
want to say, in Portugal, Okay, and they're gonna that's

(01:16:18):
gonna be their new full time. But they're gonna start
working their way back into the UK life. Now there
are some people pushing back. In the article I read,
some of the family is still like, now we don't
we don't really want y'all. Yeah, but some others are like, yeah,
you went out because they're trying to.

Speaker 4 (01:16:36):
Do your thing in America. Didn't turn out the way
you thought it was.

Speaker 6 (01:16:39):
It didn't play out at all.

Speaker 2 (01:16:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (01:16:41):
So I mean, like I feel like they thought that
they were going to be super I mean they are
super successful obviously, but like they're going to live this
great Hollywood life and race or kids and all of that.

Speaker 2 (01:16:49):
But it turns out people didn't care as much as
you thought they did about you guys, and so maybe
now they're just going to go back to being royal. Yeah,
we'll see, yeah, and we'll see.

Speaker 6 (01:16:58):
So David, do you remember that rapper, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:17:01):
The girl that killed Celeste. Yes, she was fourteen at
the time.

Speaker 6 (01:17:05):
While the record label Innerscope is actually coming out saying
that they had dropped him four months before he got arrested.
So the record executive testified that David was still under
contract in the months after he allegedly murdered Celeste. Right,
he wracked up millions of dollars. I guess his he
was preparing to release his debut album and they had

(01:17:28):
a signing bonus for him of six hundred thousand dollars
and then he murdered Celeste, and so I guess before
he got arrested, they dropped him four months before that, okay,
because they got word and all the speculation. Remember, we
were like does he not been arrested?

Speaker 2 (01:17:42):
It was the weirdest thing that it seemed like everyone knew, Yeah,
but nobody knew, which was so weird.

Speaker 6 (01:17:47):
The wild thing is is that he made around twelve
million dollars within two years. That's crazy, Like, you just
messed up your whole life. You killed a fourteen year old.
And so now they're during like this is the preliminary
hearing that's going on right now, and prosecutors were revealing
these graphic photos and I guess he didn't look away
from the photos. He didn't shine to show any signs

(01:18:09):
of emotion whatsoever. He didn't look at the girl's family. So,
like a judge will decide if there's enough evidence to
move forward with a trial. But as of right now, uh,
you know, he's gonna he could possibly get the death
penalty if he's found guilty.

Speaker 2 (01:18:22):
Yeah, and well, and if you agree with the death penalty,
then you probably say you should yeah, like because that's
what he did. Yeah. Absolutely, it depends on if you're
the eye for the eye person.

Speaker 6 (01:18:29):
But it's just so crazy to see all the stuff
because there are our pictures coming out of the courtroom
and he just.

Speaker 2 (01:18:33):
Has no emotion. Yeah, the story's wild.

Speaker 6 (01:18:35):
And he had his life set up for him.

Speaker 2 (01:18:38):
Yeah yeah, and then how do you get to that
mentality where you can do something like that and then
not affect you well.

Speaker 6 (01:18:44):
And then like still go and do a concert the
next day.

Speaker 2 (01:18:46):
It's crazy. I know, it's crazy. I mean, I guess
it is crazy. Mean that's why we don't understand it. Yeah,
because it is crazy. I'm gonna find out what's trending
after Zara Larson A Midnight sun It's Johnny's House sexel
on A six seven Thursday Morning, Devin Johnny's House on
a Thursday day morning. It is nine to twelve. What's
trending back again? There's some some stuff you need to know,

(01:19:06):
like the booboo lettuce is back.

Speaker 6 (01:19:09):
No, yeah, so these okay, it's been one day.

Speaker 2 (01:19:12):
Yeah. So the source they say is still perplexing officials
at the FDA. But there's now a second outbreak, more
than seventy new cases. And I'm going to say this
wrong of what the cyclosporus is. Yeah, the cases were
reported this week in Michigan and four other Midwest states.
Obviously it's caused by parasites linked to food and water

(01:19:33):
that causes naugea vomiting, and you know the other stuff
I don't want to say, the diarrhea. That more than
three hundred people have been hospitalized in the first outbreak.
It's been over seven thousand reported cases. They're still trying
to figure out where it came from. That Tailor Farms
is still under investigation. That's the source of the first outbreak,
they said.

Speaker 6 (01:19:52):
I thought that they wrote like, well.

Speaker 2 (01:19:54):
They first they hit them with a yes, it definitely
came from here. Then they hit them back with the
we're not sure if it came from here, but it
like at least scientifically, but all the indications are that
it did because everyone's saying they got stuff that came
from your spot, so they're connecting the dots. So the
test part came back as inconclusive, but the connecting of
the dots came back to probably came from y'all. So

(01:20:16):
they're still under investigation for that first outbreak. Now there
is no indication where the second outbreak came from, So
that's kind of what we're waiting on now. In the meantime,
I ate a salad last night.

Speaker 6 (01:20:27):
I know, I feel like I've gone to some places
and I'm like, I order salads.

Speaker 4 (01:20:31):
I had me a delicious Caesar sound so far and
no parasite.

Speaker 6 (01:20:34):
Yeah, I feel pretty good.

Speaker 4 (01:20:35):
So yeah, I feel Look, I feel like the parasite
hit you pretty quick. Maybe I'm wrong.

Speaker 2 (01:20:37):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:20:38):
I feel like if you get a parasite, you know
it pretty quick.

Speaker 2 (01:20:41):
The friends of the Orange Canty Library System they're turning
the downtown Library into a big treasure hunt this weekend.
So starting tomorrow and going through Sunday, the third floor
bookstore is going to do a full fifty percent off everything.
Oh Wow, books, DVDs, CDs and vinyls. So they got
thousands of gently used titles, some old favorites, and you
can go get them and every dollar goes right back

(01:21:01):
into the library programs. So that's a pretty good thing.

Speaker 6 (01:21:04):
I feel like they do this a couple times a year. Yeah,
it's pretty big.

Speaker 2 (01:21:07):
Yeah, you gotta clean out some space for some of
the new stuff. Door is going to open at ten
thirty in the morning, go until five on Friday. Saturday.
It's going to be one thirty to five on Sunday.
So Friday and Saturday you got ten thirty to five
and then Sunday you got one thirty to five. You
could go in for free obviously and browse and then
half off of something catches your eye grab it. That's
pretty cool. Books, CDs, DVDs, vinyls, the whole deal. Yeah.

(01:21:28):
And if you're already counting down the days to Christmas,
know a lot of people do Christmas in July. Gaylord
Palms is bringing back the Polar Express. You know, they
do ice every year. They did Polar Express last than
twenty nineteen. So it's all based on the Tom Hanks movie.
Oh yeah, and it's beautiful yep. So you got the
giant black ice locomotive and then some scenes from the movie.

(01:21:48):
They've updated parts of it since last time it was here,
so it's not going to be exactly the same. And
they've already started making the ice blocks. They started making
them back in June, which is cool.

Speaker 6 (01:21:57):
Do you make them there at Gaylord or do they So.

Speaker 2 (01:21:59):
I think they make them there and artists are coming
in from China and they're gonna start carving everything over
the next couple of months and it opens on November fourteenth,
so they.

Speaker 4 (01:22:08):
Don't think that.

Speaker 2 (01:22:09):
I think they start making the ice here and then
they bring it, bringing the artists here to do it.

Speaker 4 (01:22:13):
So that's at the Gaylord Palms.

Speaker 2 (01:22:14):
I know a lot of people look forward to ice
every year, so this year Polar Express is gonna be back,
which is pretty cool.

Speaker 4 (01:22:21):
So that's pretty fun.

Speaker 3 (01:22:22):
All right.

Speaker 4 (01:22:22):
Time to find out what.

Speaker 2 (01:22:23):
You think people need to hear. Tomorrow's Friday, we're gonna
go into the weekend. These are things that you think
someone out there listening needs to hear. Now, you could
be specific if you want. That's totally up to you.

you could be jeneric. It's totally up to you. Someone
is gonna get hooked up with tickets to Stellar Nights

line up and grab your tickets at osc dot org.
Let's start with Brian from Orlando. What do people need
to hear?

Speaker 5 (01:23:58):
Brian?

Speaker 12 (01:24:00):
All my work I do a lot of traveling, so
I learned how to cook on the slide. I got
an awesome recipe for chili.

Speaker 2 (01:24:06):
And people need to hear. People need to hear your
chili recipe. That's how awesome it is.

Speaker 12 (01:24:11):
Oh yeah, two minutes you're doe like literally yet you
put a quarter of a jar of salsa in a
microwave safe.

Speaker 10 (01:24:22):
Okay, but you put two eggs in it to.

Speaker 12 (01:24:26):
Them whole, and then you put a third of a
wedge of liver patte inside of it. Okay, put a
lid on it, put it in a microwaves. If you
want onions or garnishes, you can do that. And two
minutes that comes out and it is just to die
for chili.

Speaker 4 (01:24:46):
What really?

Speaker 2 (01:24:48):
But you said the base is salsa.

Speaker 12 (01:24:53):
Salta tomato soup, throwing some onions and put a two
eggs in it and liver pat.

Speaker 7 (01:25:02):
Okay, all right, two minutes and mix.

Speaker 12 (01:25:06):
It all up like it's fabulous. Yeah, chili, I'm not
kidding you, all.

Speaker 2 (01:25:12):
Right, Brian said, people need to hear that chili d
You lost me at liver pat. I'm gonna take you.
I think I'd rather roll the dice with the parasite lettuce.
That's that's just me. That's just me.

Speaker 4 (01:25:23):
But okay, Brian said, people need to hear it, So
people need to hear it.

Speaker 2 (01:25:26):
Melissa, good morning, good morning. What do you think people
need to hear.

Speaker 13 (01:25:31):
So people need to hear them. It's okay to call
out of work and take a mental health date and
have a breakdown, cry, eat ice cream, and restart again.

Speaker 11 (01:25:39):
Damn right, we're all going This.

Speaker 13 (01:25:42):
World is crazy. I thought those days where I just
don't want to get out of bed, I don't want
to deal with people. So it's okay to have that
mental health day because you deserve it.

Speaker 6 (01:25:52):
Okay, I agree.

Speaker 4 (01:25:53):
I like that better than I liked the chili. I
ain't gonna lie see.

Speaker 2 (01:25:56):
You, Brian, that is okay.

Speaker 13 (01:25:58):
Just invite with a lots of Eaties ice cream. That
is a fun brownie recipe.

Speaker 2 (01:26:03):
I love. Hang on one second, or take a medal
health day and make the two minute chili. Yes, that's
up to you. I don't know about that though.

Speaker 4 (01:26:09):
All right, so we got two good ones that start
it off.

Speaker 2 (01:26:11):
What do you think people need to hear Stellar Knights
at the Orlando Science Center four oh seven nine one
nine one zero six seven eight seven seven nine one
nine one zero six seven. You can still call in
let us know what people need to hear on Johnny's House.

Speaker 4 (01:26:25):
I won't hit music station.

Speaker 2 (01:26:27):
It's XL one oh six seven Johnny's House on a
Thursday morning, nine thirty four. Things that people need to
hear before we head into Friday in the weekend, Just
some stuff that you think people should listen to. It
could be a specific, it could be generic. Some of yow.
We could not take people on the XO mobile said no,
one needed to hear that man's liver patee dog food recipe.

(01:26:47):
That's not nice, that's not nice. Brian was trying to
share a recipe with y'all because he travels a lot,
and he said he'd learned a whole lot of cooking tricks.

Speaker 6 (01:26:54):
He said it was great. Maybe try it before you
bash it.

Speaker 4 (01:26:58):
He said, like life changing great. So yeah, I mean.

Speaker 8 (01:27:02):
Personally me, no, no, no, but.

Speaker 4 (01:27:05):
My man wants everybody here.

Speaker 2 (01:27:06):
Someone even said we should be fined by the FCC
for giving that information out, Like what the chili? Is
it a secret recipe?

Speaker 5 (01:27:16):
Right?

Speaker 2 (01:27:17):
I appreciate you calling. I don't think I'm gonna try it,
but I appreciate you. Yeah, Rady, you have something you
think people need to hear.

Speaker 6 (01:27:24):
Yes, everybody deserves a vacation, so stop hating on people's vacations.

Speaker 2 (01:27:27):
Okay, I got you.

Speaker 6 (01:27:29):
If people work hard and they want to spend their
money on going somewhere, then don't hate on them.

Speaker 2 (01:27:33):
Right right, And you don't know what people like saved
or put in exactly, like I'm going to London that
I've heard so many times, Oh look at you, eleven
eleven days. This is like a trip that's been in
the works for five years.

Speaker 6 (01:27:46):
Yeah, I feel like those comments just like they shouldn't exist.
You know, everybody deserves a break, especially like what the
Melissa girl said. It's crazy out here on the street.

Speaker 4 (01:27:57):
Yeah it is.

Speaker 2 (01:27:58):
It is. And along those lines, what I've thing people
need to hear is before you jump to comment on something,
let it breathe for a second. Oh.

Speaker 6 (01:28:06):
I needed to hear that.

Speaker 2 (01:28:07):
Let it breathe for a second.

Speaker 6 (01:28:09):
I needed to hear that.

Speaker 2 (01:28:09):
And I bring that up because I told you guys
the story about Burns earlier. Unfortunately, their head chef passed away.
That's why my reservation was canceled. But in the moment,
I was so mad because it was my anniversary. I
waited months. I could have easily jumped on social because
that's what I do and r I can't believe, but
I didn't. I let it breathe found out the next
day why, and I'm so glad I did. I would
have felt I would have literally still felt terrible about

(01:28:32):
doing that because some things are bigger than you, So
let things breathe before you jump on and start commenting
on them. That would be my suggest That's what I
think people need to hear some snaps there you go
from the xl MO will Power by Attorney Dan Neulan
in a wrec need a check, It's no brainer.

Speaker 4 (01:28:48):
Just call Attorney Dan Neulan.

Speaker 2 (01:28:49):
Someone said people need to hear it's exhausting when you
only reach out to your friends when you need something
from them and things aren't going well. You reach out
to them all the time. That's true, not just when
you need something. So yes, I think that's probably a
little personal, but people do need to hear that.

Speaker 4 (01:29:06):
That is good.

Speaker 2 (01:29:07):
Randomly, hook somebody up with Stellar Knights at the Orlando
Science Center. Your favorite artists coming to life with incredible
laser effects inside the all new Dome. It's going on
through August first. You can see the full line up
and grab your tickets at OSC dot org. It is
nine thirty six, let's roll up out of here Johnny's
House nine forty on a Thursday, and it's time for
us to wrap it up and get up out of here.

(01:29:29):
It's been a long week. It has I feel like
to tomorrow's Friday. At least that's a good thing.

Speaker 6 (01:29:33):
And now it doesn't even here Monday, and it's been
a long week.

Speaker 2 (01:29:36):
I know, one more day of just me and Ray. Yep,
you're welcome or I'm sorry, whichever one.

Speaker 6 (01:29:41):
Applies to you, however you want to feel about it.

Speaker 4 (01:29:43):
Everyone applies to you.

Speaker 2 (01:29:44):
Show.

Speaker 6 (01:29:44):
We'll be back together on my back.

Speaker 4 (01:29:46):
Yes, it'll be a good time. What you got going
on today?

Speaker 2 (01:29:48):
Ray?

Speaker 6 (01:29:49):
I have a hair appointment with my sister, so doing that,
and then I have a doctor's appointment. And that's where
I shaid, I'm kind of like just knocking appointments this week.

Speaker 4 (01:30:01):
Little maintenance.

Speaker 2 (01:30:01):
Yeah, and you get to hang with your sister, which
is always a good time. Yeah, So that's fun. Let's see,
I'm going to do some radio shows and then I'm
gonna go to my afternoon radio show live from the
Gaylord Palms pool deck.

Speaker 6 (01:30:12):
I know I'm sad that I'm missing out on Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:30:14):
I mean, I'll go ahead and say I'm going to
be in Cabana eleven. So, Robbie, if you're in the
Gaylord Palms area and you want to swing by and
say hi. Now, I can't guarantee you can get in
the pool unless you're staying there on how it all
that works. But that's where I'm doing my show this afternoon.
So I can't complain at all because it's gonna be hot.
But I'm just go jump in the pool. It's gonna
be nice or whatever. So I'll be doing that down
the hall on Magic. When I was seven to seven.
We sold almost all the spots on the bus after

(01:30:37):
because we were gone for a while so it wasn't mentioned,
so I didn't if anyone knew that there were still
spots left on the run bus. It leaves from a
teak neighborhood grill. It's gonna be on August twenty second.
We're going to eat some brunch and that's all included
in your ticket, have a few drinks. Then we're gonna
head over to Lakeland to the distillery, Lugo's Craft Distillery
in Lakeland where they make my Yo hostpice Room and
a bunch of other really really good stuff. The official

(01:30:57):
run of the Jacksonville Jaguars and UCF. So they're gonna
show you how it's done. It's just some samples, gonna
hang out in their craft cocktail area and have some fun.
There's still a few seats left, but I mean literally
just a few now ye at xl one O six
seven dot com if you want to come hang out.
It's a really fun time and it's an all day
event and your food and your drink is pretty much included.

(01:31:18):
You can buy extra drinks whilere there. We're gonna have
a food truck there too, But like for the most part,
you'll have a great time. Uh So, you can just
