Speaker 1 (00:00):
Now the Johnny's House Entertainment News with Ray.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Did you guys watch any New Year's Eve content?

Speaker 3 (00:06):
Uh?

Speaker 4 (00:07):
Yeah, the last thirty minutes of Ryan Seacrest, Nick Clark,
New Year's Rock and the Eaves.

Speaker 3 (00:12):
Sierra was up on stage Russell Wilson And here's a
funny thing. Where I was was two hours behind. So
at ten o'clock, I watched each coast feed and anything
just kind of brought it in. It was yeah, you know,
it wasn't like it was.

Speaker 4 (00:24):
Like it did seem a little some dude, Okay, Okay,
So I was watching the Hurricanes beat Ohigoway, so you
worked out. So I was already very excited thirty minutes
till the midnight libead and roll over and see what's
going on, and it did seem pretty low key.

Speaker 3 (00:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
So, I mean I watched some of the end of
Ryan Seacrest too, like right before the ball drop, and
they said that's where viewership peaked, obviously, because you want
to see the ball drop, you want to do that
like the countdown. So but they did pretty well with
viewership thirty million viewers.

Speaker 3 (00:50):
But you can tell he told him the stall because
it's like, yeah, hey, it's a. It's like we got
a minute and a half left as a brand new balls.
They don't tell you them about it. Oh it's it's shiny.
They didn't time it right at all.

Speaker 4 (01:00):
They didn't come right, and whoever picked the font for
the year really screwed up.

Speaker 3 (01:03):
It looked like it said twenty twenty four.

Speaker 2 (01:05):
I agree with that, So I'm like, this six did
not look like a sick before I picked this.

Speaker 3 (01:10):
This is terrible.

Speaker 2 (01:11):
Yeah. So, but thirty five MILLI or sorry, thirty five
percent increase over last year's viewership, which was great, but
it's been like a four year high for them, and
like the peak of the broadcast. So if you think
more people stayed home, I think so.

Speaker 4 (01:25):
I mean they said, like most people are going to
go to bed before midnight forty four percent.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
Yeah, midnight.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
I will say though, I do enjoy Anderson Cooper and
Andy Cohen because they get hammered, dude.

Speaker 4 (01:36):
They went on a crazy tangent yes, political.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
Types, and I feel like they did that last year
with what's her name. She was a comedian or whatever,
and she was out there she was saying, anybody stop me,
and she just kept going because it's a lie.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
Well, that's what started it this year too. Yeah, the
worst was Don Lemon. He had his mic sat down,
it's gonna be Oh, I love that.

Speaker 2 (01:56):
That's great.

Speaker 4 (01:56):
Did you see they asked the comedian where where to
find a man? No, so they asked this is what
that's what took it off the rails. They asked this
female comedian, where's the best place to find a man
in twenty twenty six?

Speaker 3 (02:06):
And she said the ladies room.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
Oh no, No.

Speaker 3 (02:11):
Nobody knew what to say because CNN. So they're all like.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
Yeah, CNN is going off the roils on New Year's CV.
I can't see that.

Speaker 4 (02:20):
And as soon as that happened, it just couldn't get
back on track. Anderson Cooper he backed up like okay.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
They just went yeah. So and then another thing, MTV
globally shut down. Did you see that?

Speaker 5 (02:31):
So?

Speaker 2 (02:31):
But like people are freaking out, but you're really not
leading into it if you don't know exactly what's happening.
There is still MTV channels and shows and all that stuff,
so you could still get your team mom, the Jersey
Shores like all that stuff. But at last night, what
they're saying is at MTV Live and MTV classic you
still have those, but a lot of like other countries UK, Australia, France,

(02:51):
poland the MTV music channels they all shut down.

Speaker 3 (02:54):
They all had dedicated music channels still and we didn't.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
Okay, so our ended a while. Count right, they still have.

Speaker 4 (03:00):
Like blocks where they show classic videos and stuff. So
these countries they were actually showing videos. They're doing like
MTV nineties, MTV eighties TV. Yeah, so they just shut
those down.

Speaker 6 (03:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
Also, Kelsey Ballerini and Chase Stokes look like they're back together. Yeah.
So they both both posted for the new year. They
said lean into love and say it often. At Chase
posted that he called twenty twenty six is a year
of growth, and then at Kelsey Ballerini said that twenty
twenty five was messy for the heart, but she still
believes in love. And she was like, now go kiss
your your person and stop speculating.

Speaker 3 (03:31):
They we're back together.

Speaker 2 (03:32):
Yeah, so I'm happy.

Speaker 4 (03:33):
Well, I was watching his little slide show and it
was normal stuff and then I saw her. I'm like,
wait a second. He added her to it, So it's
got to be back together.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
Right, Yeah, they were back I agree.

Speaker 3 (03:41):
Allright, we got some updates for you. You gotta wait
for those that's coming up next to on Johnny's house
back driving in is a lot of fog today, but
they say it's gonna burn off. I guess the rain
is gone partly sunny with the higher seventy five. It
is fifty seven right now. Let's see what do I
start wrapped up Baby DJ. This year's Baby DJ was
check challenging. It was. Uh, we barely made it and

(04:02):
I can't put my finger on it. Lot of y'all
said you're gonna volunteer, you don't show up. Yeah, somebody
said they donna donate one hundred bikes. They don't come.

Speaker 2 (04:12):
It was like the cherry on top of twenty twenty five.

Speaker 3 (04:15):
We took money out of the count and said go
buy toys, and we we we barely barely barely made it.

Speaker 7 (04:21):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (04:22):
Then left and pick up kid, went to Charlotte, hung
out with my family for Christmas. Uh it was cool.
Uh then got back and took the kid to his
grandmother's and went to Cabo Son Lucas. Oh it was nice,
it was, really it was. I had two goals in mind.
One was the rest and the other one was reconnected

(04:42):
with my girl because the month of December, I'm gone.
You don't see me. I'm out. And it was cool
and the hotel was staying at they have binoculars. Did
they give you because the whales?

Speaker 2 (04:50):
That's cool. Did you see some whales? Yes, that's awesome.
It's really cool.

Speaker 4 (04:57):
When I go to anywhere where there's ocean, I stare
at it for like a time, thinking I want to
see something. Tell you with like a cruise. So it
was over, you saw something. It's awesome.

Speaker 3 (05:07):
The water came out of the hole and I was
like wow, relaxed, and then came back and I got
back on Saturday and here we are miss.

Speaker 2 (05:17):
It was good. After baby DJ and after Christmas, I
flew to New York, went to Rochester.

Speaker 3 (05:23):
With the Samy. Yeah. Wow, so cool.

Speaker 2 (05:26):
We got there just in time for whatever the heck kind.

Speaker 3 (05:28):
Of storm that was the polar vortex.

Speaker 2 (05:30):
Yes, there were seventy mile per hour when with no
pelt in your face. They loved it, loved it. I
could not get them to come back inside. And then
like my daughter was like, oh my gosh, my feet
are burning, and I'm like, oh my gosh.

Speaker 3 (05:47):
Yeah, you know.

Speaker 2 (05:47):
So it was an experience because the last time they
were in Rochester they were three, so now that they're seven,
they really hung out with their family.

Speaker 3 (05:57):
The first time I got frozen by we I was
a kid and we play football in the snow because
you know, after a while, once your feet freezes, you
don't feel the me you don't want yeah, and then
that pain it Oh yeah, you never had that, Bill,
I've never been in snow.

Speaker 4 (06:14):
I've been in I've been skiing in Colorado once.

Speaker 3 (06:18):
I mean it was hot I had because you're up
on the mountain and your toads freeze up, you don't
feel them, so you like, I could play out here
all day. Yeah, and then when you hit that heat
and they fell out and it's it's bad. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (06:29):
So I mean it was wild just because, like like
I said, I couldn't get them to come inside because
they loved it so much. But it was something to experience.
I'll tell you that. With the winds, it was crazy.

Speaker 3 (06:38):
What do you go to? People just live their lives.

Speaker 2 (06:41):
I think I texted Kim seventeen times why do people
live here? Why do people live here? Just because you
get dressed, then you have to get undressed and then
you're wet and then you have to get dressed yet.

Speaker 3 (06:50):
But people say the same thing about us in the
summer time. Yeah, they say, how do you all live here?

Speaker 2 (06:55):
So, I mean we went to the mall. We went
to like you know, we're gonna go poling. It's everything
that's inside. So but we ate a lot of food
and then I just did a lot of family time
and resting. Yeah, it's pretty much it.

Speaker 3 (07:05):
They have coat chicks.

Speaker 8 (07:08):
I don't.

Speaker 2 (07:09):
I didn't know, no, not anywhere we went, just because
you know, I don't really go anywhere.

Speaker 3 (07:13):
First time I went to Chicago, it was like, uh,
give me your coat, give me my coat, yeah, yeah,
and then you got to give me fo all.

Speaker 7 (07:20):
Yes.

Speaker 4 (07:20):
The only time I've ever done co check is we
went to Amsterdam. I had co check at at the bar.
We went to an Amsterdam I'm like, coach coach.

Speaker 9 (07:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (07:27):
I thought they were trying to rob me check check coachbot.
This burning we didn't really do a lot.

Speaker 3 (07:38):
It was super low key.

Speaker 4 (07:39):
My wife had to work a little bit and so
she didn't have the same days off that I would
have had. And then I had to come in and
do a couple of days here. So We didn't plan
a trip or anything. We day tripped to Saint Augustine
and just checked out the lights and all that stuff
I did.

Speaker 3 (07:52):
It was crazy, Yeah, it was crazy.

Speaker 4 (07:53):
I did get to finally do this experience my wife
got for me at the Lightboat Project charity event. Okay,
so I got to drive and ride along in a
bunch of like famous cars from the movies. And so
I got to drive the Firebird from Smokey and the
Bandit the generally Yeah. Uh, this called the car eleanor
from Gone in sixty Seconds.

Speaker 3 (08:12):
That must have.

Speaker 4 (08:13):
Yeah, it's the most powerful car I've ever been into
my life. Right when you punched the gas and that
thing to hold back end is jerks to the side
like it is in him like that. It is so insane.
There there was a roush racing Mustang. There's only seven
in the world. So yeah, I mean we got we
got to do some really my friend here, Yeah, it's
so it's it's a family. They own a bunch of

(08:34):
dominoes and they're they're real big in the Lifeboat Boat
Project and so they put they they the husband builds
these cars and uh, you know, kind of restores these cars.
He has a garage and everything, and they wanted to
do something based on what they love for good calls,
and since she's with the LFE Boat project, he's like, well,
if people would be interested. This was the first time
they've ever done it, really, so yeah, it was super

(08:54):
cool and it's so it's cool to see how excited
he was about the cars. And my friend Core is
and mechanics, so he got to see the carrs and
then I, dude, I got to drive the smoking in
the Bandit car, which I've been smoking the Bandit.

Speaker 3 (09:04):
Fans, and I was like five years old. Did you
blow the horn?

Speaker 6 (09:06):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (09:07):
Yeah, the horn works the whole deal.

Speaker 3 (09:11):
Because you got the car, you ain't got the horn. YEP.
I think y'all let me down a little bit.

Speaker 4 (09:15):
I didn't get this lot across the hood, which I
fully understand because you know, I didn't get to jump
it again, I fully understand, but I did get to
punch it.

Speaker 3 (09:24):
It was so awesome.

Speaker 4 (09:25):
They shot video and there was a drone following us,
So when I get the whole video, I'll posted.

Speaker 3 (09:29):
But it was it was so much fun for really
good calls.

Speaker 4 (09:31):
Then I watched my Hurricanes win two games in the
college football player. I said, they play again Thursday night,
and then you know, we just got We we hung
out with friends who we hadn't been able to see
in a while, just for small stuff. We went to
Sunset Walk and had dinner and just hung out, you know,
just just chilled. Really, we didn't do anything major, but
we I know, at the same time, I didn't have
to do anything, which was nice.

Speaker 10 (09:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (09:52):
I did watch Stranger Things season finale, said I won't
talk about about crowd of the thang. Did you really?
I cried a lot. Yeah, gets shut down that huh. Yeah, yeah,
Netflix crashed. I ain't gonna say why I cried. You
watch yourself. I'm like, I didn't say.

Speaker 6 (10:06):
I know.

Speaker 2 (10:06):
I'm so lost because everybody was like, oh, I thought
you were Stranger Things girly, and I'm like, god, I'm not.

Speaker 3 (10:11):
Yeah, I need to be. But they wrapped it up.
It's over, it's wrapped up. There's somebody what's that guy's name, Brian.
You talked about him and I forgot his name. But
there's a local guy, local guy who's on a Stranger Thing.
I love to talk to him because he was a bully.
Oh yeah, okay, so he played a bully. Yeah, he
played a bully on the show. But it was pretty good.
All Right, we come back, we'll talk about how much
time did you spend with your family and how much

(10:33):
time can you take before you're like, I got to
get up out of here. Name is Clayton Royal Johnson?
Yeah that's his name, and yes, yes, absolutely yeah. If
y'all know him, tell him what you trying to talk
to him. He might be back at his job at
this I think he said, long han State. I think
he's probably good now.

Speaker 4 (10:48):
Nothing with stranger things on your resume, Yeah, I think
you probably get some other gigs.

Speaker 3 (10:53):
Family time. How much time we're gonna talk about next
on John's bun Off to Partly Sonny and the High
of seventy five? It is fifty seven in right now
where you're talking about taking the family up to New York.
How many family members did you see while you're up there?

Speaker 2 (11:05):
Let's see hear probably eleven eleven?

Speaker 3 (11:10):
Yeah, so you just went you went house hopping. Why
did you find one place and you guys met there?

Speaker 2 (11:14):
No, I mean we did go house hopping. I went
to my grandpa's house, which was fun because I always
go down into the basement where my sister and I
used to always hang out. Really yeah, So we went
to my grandparents' house, we went to my aunt's house,
my cousin's house. So it was a lot all at once. Yeah,
but it was like, you know, my twins very rarely
go up to New York, and when we do, everybody

(11:37):
wants to see them.

Speaker 3 (11:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (11:38):
Yeah, so we fit in a.

Speaker 3 (11:39):
Lot in So at what point you're like, Okay, I'm
ready to go home.

Speaker 2 (11:44):
Probably day four, yeah, which was the day that we
were leaving, And I was like, today was a great
day for us to leave. Yeah, just because it's a lot.

Speaker 3 (11:53):
Now, is it a you thing or is it a
family thing that y'all understand that four days? Oh you
say four days is your limit?

Speaker 2 (12:00):
I think it's a me thing because my parents are
coming back today. Okay, they've been there for like two weeks.

Speaker 3 (12:05):
Okay, okay, yeah, so.

Speaker 2 (12:06):
My parents are coming back today. And my sister stayed
a little bit longer too. But like for me, I
was like four days and we're good.

Speaker 3 (12:11):
See my family, it's an understood thing that about four
I think I was in Charlotte. Let's see, I got
there on Tuesday, five days is enough. Yeah, And we
picked two days. We don't house hop. We picked two
houses and anybody got to go to those houses, huh.
And then we hang out and then we eat and
then we dispark. We tried to do a family vacation

(12:32):
once and we realized we can't do that. It sounds good, yeah,
so many many people. Yeah, people are late and dinner reservations,
and it was just it was and we as a family,
it wasn't like one person say they want to do it. Yeah,
we all agreed this ain't work. Just too much.

Speaker 6 (12:47):
I know.

Speaker 2 (12:48):
I had cousins messaging me though, like what the heck,
why didn't you tell us you were here? And I
was like, y'all, there's only so many people that I
could fit into the schedule, and like, you know, so
many houses you guys could come. But after day for
I just remember my twins were just like they're so loud. Yeah,
And I was like, yes, this is your family, this

(13:08):
is your family. And then like every time they would
curse or like swear soa bad words, they would.

Speaker 3 (13:12):
Look at me and I'd be like, and see in
your family is alcohol involved?

Speaker 2 (13:16):
Oh? Alcohol? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (13:18):
No, it was no alcohol. I would need to have family,
getting the whole. No, no liquor whatsoever. I can't even
imagine if we go on each other's nerves after five
days without liquor. Yeah, they bollowed me two days.

Speaker 2 (13:31):
With liquor, I know. And it was funny because like
my son and my cousin, my little cousin, they were
like butting heads at the end of it, and they
were like, cec hates me, and I'm like, no, nobody
hates you. Like it's like they're seven, you know, so
obviously like they talked like that. She didn't play football
with me, And I'm like, oh God, for.

Speaker 3 (13:48):
Me, it's sad to leave, but I'm I don't want
to say I'm glad to leave. I kill anybody. They say, Hey,
you're going to Charlotte for vacation, going home to see
the family. I love that, but ain't no vacation, right,
you know, you get your fill Yeah, and then it's okay,
Oh I'm ready to go now. And I tell anybody
this now. Brian got a very small family. Yes, I
have a large one, and people are like, man. Brian
even mentioned to me, man, it would be cool to
come from a large family. My brother let me tell you,

(14:10):
in a large family, there's always something going on.

Speaker 4 (14:15):
Yeah, always. I don't want it for me. I would
rather jump off a cliff. I sometimes feel bad for
my son because he doesn't get the experience of having
a bunch of cousins and all that stuff, because I did. Yeah,
we saw hanging at my grandma's house. But you know,
once your family starts to fall off a little bit,
then you just you know, have it. So I feel
bad for him. I don't feel bad for me.

Speaker 3 (14:35):
And at least and that's when when we go to Charlotte,
I don't see Alex. He's with his cousin. Yeah, you know,
they got that kind of thing. But there's always SUSI
said I and say, hey, my, so what's going on
really again?

Speaker 2 (14:46):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (14:47):
Really, but what happened to No?

Speaker 10 (14:50):
He did?

Speaker 3 (14:50):
What?

Speaker 2 (14:51):
Yeah? And there's so much family drama going on with
my family right now. So my son, my cousin was like, hey,
you want to take a ride with me to the
deli and I was like, oh, yeah, deli. Oh my,
the floodgates.

Speaker 3 (15:02):
Were open, that's why they wanted to go.

Speaker 2 (15:04):
Yeah, it's all right, And obviously he needed somebody to
talk to. You and like my cousin's one of my
best friends. You're like, okay, you convented me, Like whatever.

Speaker 3 (15:11):
Yeah, hold your eyes like you just saw a ghost.
Like wow, I wanted to stay in my little cave
and on landing. Yeah, let's stay away from there. So Ray,
you say about four days, say four days. I'd say
about four five days, four nights. Take that travel time
and Brown you don't care. I say about four hours. Wait,

(15:33):
like we go regularly. What are we doing? We say,
eat what we're gona happen to gett dark soon?

Speaker 2 (15:37):
Let's get out.

Speaker 3 (15:38):
So I want to find out if you spend time
with your family. First of all, do you spend time
with your family over the break? And what would you say?
Is the longest you can spend with your family without
losing your mind? You love them, there's no dislike here.
You love your family, You love to be around him,
you love to feel that family love. But after a while,
you're like, I got you to go four oh seven
now one nine one o six seven eight seven seven

(15:59):
Now I went nine one on six seven x el
mobile four one o six seven live stream Hello, wake up,
comment on it and we'll throw it on social media
don't make it sound like it's your us, cause I
know y'all got it too. We're back some callers. Four
oh seven now one nine one o six seven eight
seven seven nine one nine one o six seven. Do
you spend time with your family? And what would you
say is the number of days before you got to

(16:20):
get out of there? Callegs, we want to talk to
you now on Johnny's House burn. It off to a
partly sunny day. We're gonna have a little warm front
come through for the next week or so. I missed
all that little cold front we had come through here.
I ain't get any of that.

Speaker 8 (16:31):
Oh.

Speaker 2 (16:31):
I landed like as soon as it came.

Speaker 3 (16:33):
It was pretty cold. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (16:34):
It was two nights that I left my pool pump
running because it could have been in the low thirties
and I just wanted to be safe.

Speaker 3 (16:41):
Wow. Yeah, No, I ain't get any of that stuff.
High to day of seventy five fifty seven. Right now,
Ray went up to New York. Start of the family
said after by four to eight's I love the family,
love being around them, but it's time to go. So
I want to find out how much time do you
have to be with your family? Or did you see
them over the break? And how much time do you
have to say you know what I got to go
from Clamont Reggie, Ready, good morning, good morning, good morning,

(17:03):
good morning. Ready. So how much time do you want
to spend with your family before you say you know
what I got to go?

Speaker 7 (17:09):
I mean one one day? I think one to three
days is great. But I think it depends on the location,
the distance between you and the family. You know, something close, Okay,
you know, you get there, you hang out for the day,
one day you get out of there.

Speaker 3 (17:26):
You gotta go just one day, don't Reggie? I mean
one day.

Speaker 7 (17:31):
You meet everybody, you have breakfast, you have lunch, you
have dinner, You realize, okay, I had enough, let's go home.
That fun.

Speaker 6 (17:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (17:41):
I think it also determines like if you're staying at
somebody's house, if you're sticking at a hotel, yeah, you know,
because then you're not leaving at all.

Speaker 3 (17:48):
Yeah, because you can get away for a few minutes.

Speaker 7 (17:50):
Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, but you're still stuck stup.

Speaker 3 (17:54):
How big? How big?

Speaker 8 (17:55):
For three days?

Speaker 3 (17:56):
How many? How big is your family? Ready, it's huge.

Speaker 7 (17:59):
Between my wife's family and my family, it is huge.

Speaker 3 (18:03):
Well, see that. You need a couple of days because
you can't talk to everybody in one day.

Speaker 7 (18:09):
Everybody usually shows up. I'll give I'll give them that credit.
It's a big family, a lot of love, but there
is a lot of like we drink. Yeah, you know,
we celebrate. We celebrate when we celebrate. So it's just
a lot at one time. You see everybody that excitement,
Hey what you've been doing. Of course you keep in touch,
you know here and there. Yeah, that break everybody together.

(18:30):
Everybody shares the stories, we see the new babies, you know,
everything's great day. It's a lot in one day. After
that one day, it's like, okay, I'll see you guys
at breakfast, maybe some of you the next day, and now.

Speaker 9 (18:43):
We'll see you next time.

Speaker 3 (18:45):
That's me. I'm with you on that one.

Speaker 7 (18:46):
Yeah, we're out.

Speaker 3 (18:48):
How different would it be if if no alcohol will served?

Speaker 7 (18:52):
I don't think it'd be possible.

Speaker 3 (18:54):
Yeah, I just wouldn't go.

Speaker 7 (18:56):
I don't think you could go.

Speaker 3 (19:00):
That is so funny.

Speaker 7 (19:01):
We have fun.

Speaker 3 (19:03):
It's so funny that I hear Brian hears me, I
can't imagine I have a flask if you said an
alcohol yeah right, I can't even imagine if somebody bought
I teld you my my nieces brought it some guy
and he thought he's being nice. Put some honey on
the table. Yeah, and the whole part my land, my dog,
everybody's bringing bottle. Everybody's all right readily. Hey, thanks for

(19:30):
sharing that.

Speaker 7 (19:31):
Man. Well, you guys have an amazing year.

Speaker 3 (19:33):
You too, just hit one and done right? What they say?

Speaker 2 (19:37):
Somebody said, my older one was home for a couple
of days and I enjoyed every moment of it. But
when they're visiting family, their ideal time is tops five days.

Speaker 3 (19:46):
The five days is a lot of time. Yeah, that's
a lot of time. Wow. And what's over X Mobile
Power by Attorney Dan Newlyn interrect need to check. It's
a no brainer. Call Attorney Dan Newlan. Someone said four days.

Speaker 4 (19:56):
But my mom suggested that we get an apartment together,
and I said, absolutely not, now if you value this relationship.
And then someone said I have a hard time getting
past three hours.

Speaker 3 (20:05):
Three hours. Yeah, they must have a small femily.

Speaker 4 (20:08):
They said, it's just it's everybody's loud. Yeah, a lot
of pets and there's a lot of allergies involved.

Speaker 3 (20:13):
You know, when you when your mom steps up to say, hey,
we have such a great relationship that we should get
an apartment together, and you say no, your mom's hurt.

Speaker 2 (20:20):
Yes, absolutely, her vision of.

Speaker 3 (20:22):
What y'all have.

Speaker 4 (20:23):
Well, the reason it's great, it's because we don't have
an apartment together.

Speaker 3 (20:26):
See, that's what you want to keep it great. Let's
just keep it the way it is. This is so great.
We can laugh at joke every day like this, Nah,
we got all right, what are we gonna now?

Speaker 1 (20:34):
The Johnny's House Entertainment News. That's rae all right.

Speaker 2 (20:38):
So over the Christmas break, I'm Kim Kardashian. For Christmas,
she gave all of her four kids a Pomeranian puppy.

Speaker 3 (20:46):
I saw that.

Speaker 2 (20:47):
So twelve year old North, ten year old Saints, seven
year old Chicago, and six year.

Speaker 3 (20:51):
Old Palm didn't crazy or something.

Speaker 2 (20:54):
Yeah, oh, they're not down for this whatsoever. And they
feel I feel like December they come out with like
a little PSA saying like, listen, don't give somebody a
puppy if you know that they're not going to be
able to take care of them or just.

Speaker 4 (21:07):
Go adopt, yeah, buye puppies. They don't want you to
go to the store and buy one to adopt one.

Speaker 2 (21:11):
So Peter made an announcement saying puppies are not plushies.
It's a damn shame. I Kim missed the chance to
be a spokesperson for Shelter Pops and instead is being
rightly slammed on social media for that. So, I mean,
obviously a lot of people aren't down with this, but
that's what she did.

Speaker 3 (21:28):
Now. I was sitting around just doing a little reading,
and I don't know if this is true or not.
And you would because you've been doing the cele everything.
I heard that her and Kanye spent the holiday together
with kids and they it was kind of a I
saw the story.

Speaker 2 (21:40):
Yeah, I did see that. I don't know how it went. Yeah,
you know. But and then I also saw a lot
of videos going around with North and we had blue hair.

Speaker 4 (21:48):
She got to go to social media now, Yes, she's
on social media now. And Kanye was like, okay with it. Oh,
he didn't lose his mind. Yeah, I was expecting him
to flip when he found that out.

Speaker 2 (21:56):
But now, also Jelly Roll, he was on the cover
of Men's Health.

Speaker 3 (22:01):
He looks incredible, a different personally.

Speaker 2 (22:04):
He's also two hundred and seventy five pounds lost, lost
two hundred and seventy five pounds, and now he's saying
that he's living in a dramatically different world. At his heaviest,
he was five hundred and forty pounds. Now he's down
to two sixty five and the cover of Men's Health,
he looks amazing. His nutrition and exercise helps. But the

(22:24):
real change is when he treated food like in addiction.
He said that he addressed it well, you know, like
why was he eating? Everything shifted because in his mind
he was like, I'm just eating to eat because it
was an addiction. So obviously that was a big change
for him. Men's Health on the cover. It's coming out
March of twenty twenty six, but you could see it
all over.

Speaker 3 (22:44):
What is he gonna have media, He's gonna have that
surgery because when you lose that much weight.

Speaker 2 (22:48):
You have loose Oh yeah, yes, can removal?

Speaker 3 (22:51):
Yeah I don't know.

Speaker 2 (22:52):
So I'm sure that he'll share that with everybody too.

Speaker 4 (22:54):
If you guys more concerned what the songwriting is going
to be about now, because I see all this stuff
is about, you know, redemption and all the stuff he
went through.

Speaker 3 (23:01):
But now he's living his best life. So is he
gonna have living his best life?

Speaker 4 (23:05):
Maybe Taylor Swift with breakups, which there's no breakups to
write about.

Speaker 3 (23:08):
What do you write about? Maybe have like a whole
fold of stuff that he hadn't recorded yet. Maybe yeah,
maybe the whole beat will be living my best life.
Maybe it will be that kind of country music. I
don't know.

Speaker 2 (23:18):
So some of the most anticipated movies of twenty twenty six,
there's a long list, but to name some of them.
Scream seven with Nev Campbell or Nath Campbell February twenty seventh,
that's coming out. Devil War's Prodded too, that's May one.
Toy Story five June nineteenth, The live action Mowana July tenth.

(23:39):
Let's see here, there's a lot of them.

Speaker 3 (23:41):
I guess.

Speaker 4 (23:42):
Toy Story five the premises they don't got toys no more.
The kid wants tablets, So really toys are freaking out
because it like, what the heck we can we can't
compete with a tablet's cue, So that's a kind of
a cool thing.

Speaker 2 (23:54):
The Social Reckoning, which is the follow up to the
Social Network, That is October ninth. The Hunger Games November
twenty again. Now meet the parents four. That's what it's called.
Fokker in law.

Speaker 4 (24:07):
Maybe maybe I'll give it a shot because of the others,
but maybe even the last one was kind of a strike.

Speaker 2 (24:12):
But there's a lot of like Avengers, Doomsday, Spider Man,
the Evil Yeah, all right, a lot of stuff.

Speaker 3 (24:19):
Brown's gonna tell this. First time of the year was
a high fifty right now, all right? Well, happened over
the weekend. The United States carried out of a military striking Venezuela.
It was early Saturday, captured President Nicholas Maduro and his
wife in a military compound in Caracas. So the President
Donald Trump came out and announced the operation and said
the US is going to run the country until a
safe transition of power can take place. They said, it

(24:42):
was pretty precise, and what kind of military compound I'm
supposed to be safe up in here? Yeah, no, not
from US up in here.

Speaker 4 (24:50):
The Army's Delta Force carried out the capture with help
from the FBI, which is pretty cool. So they sent
them to the USS. It was GiMA warship and then
they flew to New York. The're gonn face Federal Drug
Trafficking charges. They're set to be a raigned at noon today,
the judge being a rain form hes ninety two years old.

Speaker 2 (25:06):
Yeah, I cannot pull ese that. Wow.

Speaker 3 (25:10):
So that's going down today in Manhattan. So you'll see
that all over there. Oh, all over it for sure.

Speaker 4 (25:14):
Sprinkles Cupcakes officially shut down all of their locations and
nobody knew it was coming. So the founder of Candice Nelson,
she revealed the surprise closure happened abruptly on December thirty.

Speaker 3 (25:25):
First.

Speaker 4 (25:25):
She launched the brand back in two thousand and five.
Now she sold it to a private equity group for
what they say is tens of millions of dollars in
twenty twelve, and they just decided to shut it. She said,
I found out a few days before everybody else. They
started with a single shop with one kitchen aid mixer,
and then they had those eight cupcake ATMs everywhere that
ever got excited about. They had one of Disney Springs
and then officially shut down. So when I saw the

(25:46):
Disney Springs when shut down, I didn't know the entire
company shut down, and I'm like.

Speaker 3 (25:49):
Oh, that's what it was. Funny. I saw one in
the airport and it was shut down. I'm just thinking
to myself, I guess they need to they sold out
you film. Yeah, they'd officially just shut the company. Oh yeah,
so well, if it was owned by private equity company,
what she could do is started back up and called
it sprinkle no s.

Speaker 4 (26:05):
Maybe, I mean, I don't know, I don't know what
her deal was, or maybe they'll student back to her
if she really was to she stild me made a
bunch of monthy. Yeah, so I mean she might be like,
you know what, I'm not doing that. I'm good yea,
but yeah, that's that's crazy. So out of nowhere shut down.
So if you go to Disney Springs looking for sprinkles.

Speaker 3 (26:20):
Ain't gonna happen. In Lake.

Speaker 4 (26:21):
Superior State University drop their fiftieth annual Banished Words list.

Speaker 3 (26:25):
They do it every year.

Speaker 4 (26:26):
This year, the number one word is six seven, which
was just named dictionary dot COM's word of the Year
in October.

Speaker 3 (26:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (26:34):
So also on the list demure cook that didn't last
you can't. These are a lot of social media words,
but that one.

Speaker 3 (26:41):
They tried to make it happen. It happened for what
about a month, like two seconds? Yeah, and it was
done yes, it's not very demure. Yeah, no, it wasn't
very good a lot of her social media words.

Speaker 4 (26:49):
So if you'd like to add nominations for next year's
banished list, they do it every year l S s
U dot edu.

Speaker 3 (26:55):
You can make suggestion. See I think six seven is
gonna be around while because it's just annoys people. Anytime
a kid can annoying an adult, it's gonna happen until
something else comes along.

Speaker 4 (27:04):
I mean there's already people using it ridiculously, like you
know sports commentators. Oh you know, somebody's like Satan wants
you to say, come on, well you know what our
boss JJ Rice, we're one six seven.

Speaker 3 (27:23):
Were the game? Wow? Okay, yeah, let's band together and
get rid of it that way. All right, it's time
to wake up. First time of the year. We need
to find out what is your hype song to get
everybody awake. Now, some schools aren't in. I think Bavard
is the only one that's in. Yeah, Orange and Similar
House are still Ala. Parents are back. A lot of
a lot of people took two weeks off. Yeah, the

(27:45):
end of the year where everybody should be back right now.
So we need a special song to get everybody awake
today and we're gonna hook you up with some monster
jams with awesome trucks, amazing stunts, big air action, packed excitement,
the definition of fun for everyone. How about four tickets
and pit passes the Monster Jam Campberrell Stadium on the
tenth of this month. Four O seven now one nine
one O six seven eight seven seven now one nine

(28:07):
one O six seven. We need to hear your hype song.
Cannot be a song that we played before, can't be
a song that you like, what you want to hear
on the radio. It got to be a legitimate hype song.
Wanted to get to everybody up, it gets them going,
pit passes, Manster Jam tickets. What is your hype song?
Four O seven now one nine one O six seven
eight seven seven nine one nine one of six seven.
We're gonna wake everybody up with the song? So calling

(28:28):
in now on Johnny's House. Burn off to a partly
sunny day. Anybody make any New Year's resolutions? I don't.
I don't know if I necessarily make resolutions. I mean,
I've been I've been through so many of these New Years. Yeah,
I just I just have thoughts of things that I
want to change or do better. I just want to
be better than I was in every aspect last year.
Might be a better person, be a better dad.

Speaker 4 (28:48):
I tried to set like a goal because I figure resolution,
Once you fail at it, you kind of quit. But
if you set a goal, even if you don't make
it to the last day, you can still be chasing it.

Speaker 3 (28:58):
So I do that.

Speaker 4 (28:58):
And I heard I heard someone say something pretty smart.
They say they don't try to take anything negative out
of their life because it's really hard to do. They
try to add something positive to their to their life
every year, whether it be eating better or whatever, or
going to church more, calling your relatives every week. What
they add a positive versus try to remove a negative.

Speaker 2 (29:15):
Oh that's good.

Speaker 3 (29:16):
And it's something about New Years and it's kind of
like it's a new beginning. It's like, okay, it's a
brand even though it's just a week from last week.
It's just like it's a chance to refresh, renew, to
start a new year. The clean slate. Yeah, it's like
last year's done. I'm finished with it with it. And
so for me, I just wanted to I just want
to try to do do better than I was just

(29:36):
try to be a better person. Uh and yeah, that's
about it. Ray, you have any Yeah, I.

Speaker 2 (29:41):
Don't really have resolutions either, but I'm write them down.
And yeah, I mean like there's things that I want
to do more of this year instead of like kind
of like slacking on some things. So there's like, you know,
I want a journal more, I want to go to
the gym more, and you know, so things like that,
but not take out away anything all right.

Speaker 3 (30:01):
Now, some people today, because you have that, you have
that New Year's resolution that you're gonna start eating better,
you're gonna start working out. Now, this is the time
of the year that the gyms are gonna be packed,
especially today because a lot of people are like, you know,
I'm gonna say, even though I made this on the
first you know, things don't get started to right, they
got any.

Speaker 4 (30:17):
Specials like playing it finished? You sign up for a
dollar really yeah, usually it's twenty nine dollars. Today you
can sign up for a dollar. So it's like, oh
a dollar, okay, I'm in. So the gyms are gonna
be packed now. It is my goal and I'm not
doing it today. And that's because I couldn't find any
workout shorts. Oh my god, now I was. I was
even tempted to wear some dark swim trunks. I think

(30:38):
people would notice a swim truck.

Speaker 3 (30:40):
I don't think they would. You don't think so. I
don't think they're be paying enough attention. Yeah, so I
ordered something and they should be delivered today. Now, I
normally don't go this time of the year because I
know it's gonna be packed. I know that, and I
usually wait till like the end of the middle of
February because those people have been. I said, you know what,
why that's my New Year's relations Why I'm gonna go
up in there. Now, here's some advice to anybody that
works in the gym. And I know it's gonna happen

(31:02):
when I get there because I see the same people.
They say, you being right. You know what I'm saying, Well,
you know what, I haven't been. I haven't been. And
it makes it very uncomfortable when you ask where you've been,
because it's obvious I haven't been here. I'm just saying
say something encouraging, like good to have you back, or
if I can help you in any way, let me know,
but don't ask me where I've been because I haven't

(31:23):
been in here and I thought you were dead. So
that's my thing. Just give words of encouragement because what
I do is I start avoiding people I see you
going my way, and I drink more water done than
need it. I just stay at the fountain. So we're
gonna ask you if you work in a gym, if
you're a trainer, or what is some words of encouragement

(31:46):
that you can tell some people that are going for
the first time. My word would be just doing as
much as you don't want to. The hardest part for
me is when we leave here, the gym is on
the left, getting home is on the right. The hardest
decision I made it's making that right. I don't make
that right. Yeah, that's the thing I'm trying to change.

(32:08):
So my thing is my advice is first day and
just do it. What's some advice you got for the
new new ones trying to work out and go into
the gym today for the first time.

Speaker 2 (32:17):
My advice would be that nobody is paying attention to you,
because like when you go to the gym, you feel
like people are staring at you, that you know what
you're doing, or like they know that I'm a newbie,
but like, honestly, everybody's so focused and determined to do
like what they want to do at the gym, that
nobody's paying attention to you. A gym attire points.

Speaker 4 (32:35):
You out like Johnny's swim trunks, say why he didn't
go because of the swim trucks? Right, So you just
confirmed what you did was you've confirmed swim trucks.

Speaker 2 (32:48):
I don't think that you should have some tru they
look just like you should have.

Speaker 3 (32:57):
But I think I was gonna work out. You know
that mess. Did they have a swim truck? What's gonna
pop out?

Speaker 9 (33:01):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (33:01):
You can see.

Speaker 2 (33:02):
Feel like I'm saying, like if you wear the booty
shorts and all stuff, like, he's great and the more
confidence to you. But like you are going to stick out.
People are going to stare at you. But like, honestly,
if you're going for the first time this week, nobody
cares what you're doing.

Speaker 3 (33:16):
And fellas, this is my advice to you, This is
what I do when I go to gym. Keep your
eyes on the ground because if you look up and
you look at somebody in the outfitsitic race talking about
there's a camera got you. There's a camera looking. That's
the one thing I had to get used to people
set up cameras video. Yeah, and I look at the
I'm that guy. I look right at the ground. People say,
Johnny's back down. I just look at it. I just

(33:38):
look to what the equipment is. I ain't trying to
because if you glance over that one glance, it's slow motion. See.
I feel like you wasted your time to get you
a good look.

Speaker 4 (33:49):
You put all that effort in, put them little body
shorts on and walk by me and everything. I feel
like I'm doing you a favorite by looking. You haven't
seen that's what you wanted? Have you not seen no videos?
Many fellas look really bad.

Speaker 3 (34:02):
Look at this guy.

Speaker 2 (34:08):
To feel confident. Great, Not for you to look at that.

Speaker 3 (34:11):
You're gonna see me in the background. Who's that crazy
dude looking at the ground. That's Johnny looking right. You
ain't gonna get meals about the video going. We don't
even go to the gym. Brothers cameras everywhere and they
got to set up with.

Speaker 4 (34:25):
I see it on my social media, so I know
they got to be cameras everywhere with light rings and everything.

Speaker 3 (34:30):
Man, work out today, looking right at the ground. All right,
So listen, if you work in a gym, if you're
if you're a regular at a gym, what's some advice
you can get some newbies today to encourage them to
continue to go. What did like they said, people aren't
looking at you, you know, stay focused on what you
want to do. Ask for help, any advice you can
give some new people that are going to work out
today because they made it their New Year's resolution. Let's

(34:52):
help each other out and call in some dudes and
some don't don't bother? Don't they don't go. That's my
advice to call in bother, helling in, don't bother going
to the gym four O seven nine one nine one
on six seven eight seven seven nine one nine one
O six seven XL mobile four one o six seven
live streams, social media. I want to hear from you

(35:12):
advice the dudes and don'ts. If you're going to the
gym for that first time today, just to get it started.
A lot of people are. Let's help them out. Let's
encourage them. Give us some information that we can share
with them. Next on Johnny's House. A lot of people
going to the gym for the very first time. Want
to find out some dudes and don't that you want
to share with them if you go to the gym,
if you're a trainer or just knowing that someone's going
for the very first time. Four O seven nin one

(35:33):
nine one O six seven eight seven seven nine one
nine one O six seven. Let's go to Castlebury and
talk to John John good morning, Good morning.

Speaker 4 (35:41):
Guys.

Speaker 3 (35:41):
Aren't live zero zero four or five at school? Og
right now? I'm telling I love that ogag. There you go.
All right, So what suggestion do you have?

Speaker 11 (35:52):
I suggest uh, every like, if you're going to the
gym first time, going, well, wipe down the machines please.

Speaker 3 (35:57):
Yeah that's a good one. You don't know that, yeah, yeah, yeah,
wipe it.

Speaker 11 (36:01):
Down regardless if yeah, if you haven't even seen somebody
use the machine.

Speaker 3 (36:05):
Just wipe it down.

Speaker 9 (36:06):
Yeah, this is completely gross.

Speaker 11 (36:07):
I've been going to my gym for like five years,
and I can tell who's new and who's not new.

Speaker 3 (36:12):
And every time I.

Speaker 11 (36:13):
Wipe down machines, my machine, regardless if I'm gonna use
it or not.

Speaker 3 (36:19):
But yeah, just wipe down the machine.

Speaker 9 (36:20):
Everything that you guys are saying for and everything, but
just just wipe time machine.

Speaker 3 (36:24):
Right, and just make sure make sure you're nice to
the newbies that are coming in here for the next
couple of days.

Speaker 11 (36:28):
Oh yeah, I'm always nice, And like, if I could
tell somebody who's like that that's confused or first time there,
I'm like, hey, are you you have questions or do
you have anything? Like I said, I used to be
like five three hundred or five pounds, so I kind
of know what I'm doing.

Speaker 3 (36:43):
What thanks for sharing that, man, no problem being about
to go row up in here. Yeah, that's what I
like to do in the gym, all right. A couple
of things they say, make sure you cansult a position
before you go. Let your doctor know you're gonna go.
It says go in with a plan, which makes sense.
You just don't want to walk in and go I'm
gonna do that little thing they do like you and
I do that. Have a little plan something they say
you can write down or something you find online. Right,

(37:04):
that's a good thing to do. And another one ask
for a tour. If you haven't done so, ask for
a tour or a trainer that can show you around
and say, Okay, this machine does this, and do that.
The worst thing you want to do is go to
a gym and somebody's using the arms for something you're
supposed to be stretching your lege with. Yeah, you see
those videos a lot. Yeah, yeah, you know.

Speaker 4 (37:20):
Honestly, chat GPT, if you type in a lot of
information about yourself and what you're trying to achieve, it
will give you a pretty solid idea of what you
should do. And I know a lot of people are like, oh, yeah,
that's that's silly, but chat GPT is actually pretty smart
for that kind of stuff.

Speaker 3 (37:32):
Another one say, don't be intimidated. Remember everyone in the gym,
even the most experienced individual, was a beginner. Once focus
on your journey and it says pack the essentials, bottle
of water, small tile, wipe down equipment, and for me,
a little sandwich with some cookies or something right over there.

Speaker 2 (37:53):
Most people are more than happy to help you. So
if you have a question, just ask. Be mindful and
don't sit at a machine while you're on your phone.
How many people do that?

Speaker 3 (38:03):
Yeah, but in some cases you're just kind of resting
between sets. You know, it's like I did a set,
I'm gonna wait another minute, two minutes. You can't get
me sitting down now? Yeah, what is the rules with that? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (38:13):
I don't.

Speaker 4 (38:14):
Are you supposed to move between sets and let someone
else jump in and then you do your set after them?

Speaker 3 (38:19):
No, I just keeping that I keep the equipment until
I'm done. That's what I would think too. But at
the same time, now you've got people waiting while you
sit there, you got to use your phone because if
you look up, somebody go catch you on THEE on
the creep phone.

Speaker 2 (38:29):
Oh my gosh.

Speaker 6 (38:30):
No.

Speaker 2 (38:30):
But I can see what they're saying, though, because you
just sit there and people are like scrolling on their.

Speaker 4 (38:33):
Phone or like, well, I'm trying to kill my my
ninety seconds until my next set.

Speaker 2 (38:37):
But I think you need to scroll for ninety seconds.

Speaker 4 (38:40):
I mean maybe whatever, Well, like ninety seconds. He could
do whatever I want with like a whistle, I think everyone.

Speaker 3 (38:45):
I only think it's the night that's the one that's
in there for like, you know, ninety seconds past you
still on that phone. Yeah, I get that, there's two
minutes you're still on your phone. Do I get that?

Speaker 9 (38:53):
Like?

Speaker 3 (38:53):
Between sets? Am I supposed to move? I don't? I
sit there? I would say, no, you know what I'm
gonna be finish and if I see you, if I
see you, you know lurking a man? You almost done.
I got two more sets and I might pick it
up a little bit, right, but either look at the
look down and look at your phone one another mean
what they say XO Mobile.

Speaker 4 (39:10):
Power by Attorney Dan Neel and interrect need to check
into no brainer, just call it Attorney Dan new And
someone said walk in with confidence, even if it's fake.
That way you don't feel like you're intimidated. Yea, yeah,
I run this up in here, devo to the equipment.

Speaker 3 (39:25):
Get off that man, I need to curl b off.
And someone said take progress pictures. That really helps. Cause
a lot of people quick because they don't see progress
fast enough. And you won't the first week. You won't.
And that's what you you know, you nna. You worked hard,
You get on the scale, you realize that you've gained
weight because muscle weighs more than fat, and you're like, man,
I'm gonna stop working outcause I gained some weight. No right, Yeah,

(39:46):
so progress pictures, I guess we help. That's pretty good.
But anyway, if you're gonna start your first day, just
walk through the door. Get it.

Speaker 6 (39:52):
Done.

Speaker 3 (39:52):
It's something you really want to do. Mister rade, what
you got?

Speaker 2 (39:54):
You might have missed it during the holidays. Will Smith
being sued.

Speaker 1 (39:59):
Now he's House Entertainment news.

Speaker 2 (40:02):
That's right, all right, So I don't know if you
saw this over the holiday. Some people might have missed it.
Will Smith is being sued over allegations that he retaliated
against a violinist who basically reported sexual harassment.

Speaker 3 (40:16):
So so he the violinist said that will sexual harassment
harassed him for her and he said.

Speaker 2 (40:25):
That he aspired after reporting sexual harassment while he was
on tour with Will Smith. So according to the lawsuit
that was filed, he was on the base on a
True Story twenty twenty five tour, and he says that
he accuses Will Smith of predatory behavior and deliberately grooming
and priming him for further sexual exploitation. He claimed that

(40:48):
Will Smith told him that you and I have a
special connection that I don't have with anyone else. But
he also detailed the incident during a Las Vegas stop
in which his name is Joseph. He said he went
to his hotel room and and somebody actually came in unlawfully,
and he later found a threatening note stating Brian, I'll
be back no later than five point thirty, just us

(41:09):
with like a heart next to it. So he reported
that incident and informs people that he was being sexually crashed.

Speaker 3 (41:16):
So he's saying that note was from Will Smith.

Speaker 2 (41:18):
So it doesn't say who the note was from. Okay,
So and he he did really say that it was
from Will Smith, but he was just saying that predatory
behavior and deliberately grooming and priming him for further sexual expectations. So,
I mean he kind of shamed. He kind of shamed
this guy, this violinist, for reporting an incident and informed

(41:40):
him that he was being fired. So after he was terminated,
obviously it led to PTSD financial harm. He's seeking damages
and so I don't know they're going to have a
jury and everything.

Speaker 3 (41:51):
Well yeah, yeah, yeah, wow. You know I saw that
come out like a lot of stuff being thrown around.

Speaker 12 (41:57):
I know.

Speaker 2 (41:57):
That's why I was like, yeah, I mean, if he
does have evidence, obviously, that's why he's moving forward.

Speaker 3 (42:03):
Got him receipts.

Speaker 2 (42:04):
I don't know. Miley Cyrus, she is celebrating the twentieth
anniversary of Hannah Montana this year is that crazy. Hannah
Montana premiered in two thousand and six.

Speaker 4 (42:13):
Yeah, it seems longer ago than that, but yeah, that's
because I mean my son's grown now, yeah, and he
grew up on Hannah Montana.

Speaker 8 (42:19):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (42:19):
So, I mean she teased some fans with fans and everything,
saying that she's working hard on a Hannah Montana twentieth anniversary.
So she does have something that is going to celebrate
the milestone. And she said that we're just working very
hard together, and she confirmed that she absolutely has plans
in motion, but we just don't know what.

Speaker 3 (42:38):
I always mentioned this when we talk about her we
interviewed her. It was when it was Johnny and Jay
we interviewed her backstage. I didn't know who she was.
I had to look it up really well, sold out
concert and we're in a dressing room when we're talking
to her. I'll never forget I left her room and go,
why is there a white because I didn't know who
it was. Yeah, why is there a white wig in
a lock box with a security part just standing by

(43:00):
and they have had a metastic had him on?

Speaker 4 (43:03):
I had no.

Speaker 3 (43:04):
I didn't like Yeah, I know, I just walked in there.
As a guy standing in there, the white wig in
a glass box with a lock on it, and it's
just on, you know, on the on the wighead.

Speaker 2 (43:11):
And I'm just like, I hope she does something big
for it though, because I mean, obviously twenty years ago,
that's a long time ago. But like Brian said, his
son watched it. I watched it growing up, and now
that launched her career.

Speaker 3 (43:23):
I watched it because of my son. My son.

Speaker 4 (43:25):
Did I know she used to say sweet niblets or something. Yeah,
And I'm like, what, I haven't had that wig as
a parent. They're going, wait a second, y'all can't tell
that's the same girl.

Speaker 2 (43:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (43:33):
See, I just like her apparent that wig on. You
can't test the same girl, no, I he apparents on
two and a half.

Speaker 7 (43:38):
Man.

Speaker 3 (43:38):
I thought that was funny. She was a she was
a somebody's cousin. Oh really, you have Dayton Jake. Yes,
she was Jake's Yes, Jake's girls he met in the military. Right, Yeah,
that's right.

Speaker 2 (43:48):
Also, this year BTS is marking their comeback. They're saying
March twentieth, they're going to have a new album. So
they're also going to kick off a World tour. January's
are sorry, details are coming January fourteenth.

Speaker 3 (44:01):
They're fans like, we're ready.

Speaker 2 (44:02):
Yes, absolutely so ready is set to go on tour
and details again. At January fourteenth that they said that
they have fourteen songs on this new album that's dropping
on March twentieth.

Speaker 3 (44:13):
So I'm assuming that they've all done their military commitment.

Speaker 2 (44:15):
Yep, yeah, yep, they're all done. So it says fourteen
songs are driven by each member's honest introspection.

Speaker 3 (44:22):
So hey, what they're from the I don't care how
rich you are, how famous you are. You gonna put
your military Yes, I putting the military time in. I'm like, okay,
we come back first time this year. Witness six.

Speaker 4 (44:32):
A growing number of people are getting Brazilian butt lifts
in the augmentation. Yeah, but they're using fat donated from
human cadavers. Oh so, I guess it's a it's a
new procedure. Well, new to the market. It's probably been
tested a little. I thought they take the fat from
your areas. They do, but some people are too skinny,
they ain't got none, so they don't have enough fat.

(44:53):
So they take this fat from the dead people. They
sterilize that it goes through a cleaning process removes any
DNA and other materials that might cause bad reactions.

Speaker 3 (45:02):
Oh wow, And then they use the.

Speaker 4 (45:03):
Dead people fat to you know, hook up yourself a
bang a bang with some dead people's stuff.

Speaker 2 (45:09):
I just don't see that working out too well.

Speaker 3 (45:13):
The resort I was to break. There was a woman
who had a BBL didn't match with lollipop. Yeah, straight leg,
and every time she walked by, I say, that's the
woman with the worst BBL and the whole resort.

Speaker 4 (45:23):
But she ain't care because she had a phone on
right she paid. See now hers might have been some
dead people fat because she's so skinny. Right where where
they get the fat from?

Speaker 3 (45:32):
Wow?

Speaker 4 (45:32):
The doctors in Manhattan say it's the band's pretty high.
Actually starts at around ten thousand dollars and it goes
up depending on the amount of dead people fat you need.

Speaker 3 (45:40):
You know, what's funny is that being here is on
the air so long watching trends. I remember women used
to get light bol suctions so they ain't have any
booty fat. Yeah. And then Kim Kardashian jumped in, Now
you're taking fat from dead people to make your butty.

Speaker 4 (45:51):
My wife hates it because she's the og of the
big so she's like, now everybody's trying to get one,
but she was like one of the other because that's
what I like.

Speaker 3 (45:59):
That's what I've been.

Speaker 4 (45:59):
Even my friends from high school when they met my
wife are like, yeah, figures, because that's what I like.

Speaker 3 (46:03):
Wait till a woman whisper you're white, So will you
get your bba. Everybody get out of my face.

Speaker 4 (46:08):
Chooke her out in two seconds. Uh, this happens all
the time. Y'all got to stop being dumb. This happened
in Valusia County. New Year's Eve. Gunfire struck a home
in Volution County while the person was asleeping. The bullet
ended up under a woman's pillow while she was sleeping,
and it wasn't an attack.

Speaker 3 (46:23):
They were just shooting off their guns for New Years.
They said. The story was the mom of the woman
who the she had She had the flu, so she
told her husband, I don't want you to name me,
go sleep on the couch. He went on the couch.
If he was in that spot hit him, it would
have hit him.

Speaker 4 (46:42):
They arrested three people for firing guns as part of
their celebration in Volusia County on New Year's y'all gotta
stop doing that.

Speaker 3 (46:47):
Some people don't understand. You shoot the bullet up, it's
gotta come down. It's gravity's they couldna come down. Physics
doesn't disappear, It comes down somewhere.

Speaker 2 (46:56):
She's very lucky.

Speaker 4 (46:57):
Yeah, yeah, for sure. This is crazy and some more
AI fund to start. There's a police department in Utah
that had to explain why an AI generated police report
claimed an officer turned into a frog.

Speaker 3 (47:11):
That's what I'm talking about.

Speaker 4 (47:12):
So the mistake happened because the software that they use
to generate generate their police reports using AI picked up
audio from the movie The Princess and the Frog that
was playing in the background during the call. So basically,
the software confused the audio from the movie with what's
being recorded by the body camp and they put it

(47:32):
in the report as the police officer turning into a frog.

Speaker 3 (47:35):
What I'm talking about. Now, the AI did his job.
You gotta be careful if you're gonna use me what
I heard.

Speaker 2 (47:42):
Yeah, you need to still go through and you know,
edit it. They said.

Speaker 4 (47:45):
It taught them an important lesson that you have to
review and correct reports even when they're generated by AI.
They said it saves them about eight hours a week
letting AI generate it. But also obviously it picks up
whatever your body cam picks up, and so whatever hears
in the background is what it spits into the Can.

Speaker 3 (48:00):
You imagine if if you tried to lie about it, say,
have a seat, yes, sorry you wrote this report? Yeah no,
so you're trying to tell me at least I'll turned
to a pro At what point did you turn into
a frog? Well?

Speaker 4 (48:15):
Obviously, now people, there's people in jail that are going
wait a second, hey, ale, because if your reports generated
by AI and it created that mistake, what kind of
mistakes did you make in my case?

Speaker 3 (48:25):
And so now people are like, ah, hell wow, and
you know what, maybe you should have to tell the
uh the attorney. Yeah, you may have to tell generated
by yeah. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (48:34):
Well, I mean everything is listed on social media, say like.

Speaker 3 (48:37):
Generated by yeah, or maybe just write your own damn
police report. I mean, come on, you know there's some
old police officer like, I ain't changing. I don't understand
that the way this is the way I've always done it. Yeah,
this is the way I'm gonna get it done, all right, Listen,
we got to do something sence a brand new year.
We're gonna ask you. And what we try to do
is we make this show all inclusive, which means that
you're a part of it. We talk to you, you're

(48:58):
a part of us. We want to find out what
are more things you would like from Johnny's House in
twenty twenty six? That is the question. You listen all
the time, what are some things you like? I want
more of this in twenty twenty six. I want more
of this, And I'll ask you what you want less
of not asking that. That's not what we're asking. We're
asking what you want more?

Speaker 8 (49:17):
That's right.

Speaker 3 (49:18):
So we tried that a couple of years ago. That
doesn't work. So we would find out what more do
you want from Johnny's House in twenty twenty six? Four
O seven now one nine one O six seven eight
seven seven now one nine one O six six seven.
If it's busy and you can't get through, you can text.
The XL mobile is four one oh sixty seven. Live
stream Want to hear from you, social Media WI to
hear from you. It is your show. And if you

(49:39):
don't call, then you can't complain when we do something
you don't want or don't do enough, or what you like.
So tell us what more would you like to hear
from Johnny's House in twenty twenty six? Four O seven
now one nine one O six seven eight seven seven
now one nine one O six seven. We'll hear it
and we'll talk about it when you call us next
on Johnny's hob seventy five. FOG's gonna burn off to
a sunny day. All right, read about this up this morning?

(50:01):
She said, You know what, we need to find out
what they want from us more of what you want
from us in twenty twenty six. So the best way
to do it is to ask you, what more do
you want from us? Four oh seven now one nine
one O six seven eight seven seven nine one nine
one o six seven. Let's go to East Orlando and
talk to Jennay.

Speaker 13 (50:21):
Hey, Jenny, good morning everyone.

Speaker 3 (50:24):
All right. I know you're tired of people saying that
I can't. This just comes out that way. It's natural.
I'm sorry, I'm sorry.

Speaker 7 (50:30):
Oh you're good.

Speaker 3 (50:31):
Okay, what would you like?

Speaker 6 (50:33):
So? Uh?

Speaker 13 (50:34):
I know you guys get this all the time, but
just more of you. Let me clarify. I'm fully aware
you're human and you guys are on the radio for
four hours a day and it's a job, and you
have lives outside of that, so you can't be on
twenty four seven. But I've been listening to you guys
since I moved to Florida twelve thirteen years ago, okay,
and a lot of the times it's been based off

(50:56):
of the podcast pretty much. You guys started with the
podcast because you know my hours or whatever, And tell
me how I know that. Years ago when I listened
to the podcast, the podcast used to be a little
over two hours, two two and a half hours. You
know this is going and you know now it's like
ninety minutes maybe, And there's also ads in them.

Speaker 2 (51:19):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, so I get it.

Speaker 13 (51:22):
You know, ads kind of keep stuff going and they
pay for a lot of things. But Jeremy Rice, what's
happening with the show?

Speaker 2 (51:30):
That's more like.

Speaker 4 (51:33):
JJ Rice say, you would rather hear Papa Rozzi by
Lady Gaga than us tell jokes.

Speaker 3 (51:37):
That's what he said.

Speaker 13 (51:38):
Yeah, No, absolutely not.

Speaker 8 (51:40):
No, I mean, listen, I get it. I know that it's.

Speaker 13 (51:44):
Business, but I mean four hours condensed to eighty minutes
barely go.

Speaker 2 (51:49):
I'll tell you because I am the one that does
the podcast, I have seen the number no no, So
obviously we have copyright issues. We can't put the throwback
game there, so that had to be taken out because
we play songs and so like all these companies and
streaming platforms unfortunately have laws and things that they have
to obey.

Speaker 4 (52:09):
Yeah, they nuked our entire podcast because we had music
in them. So we did have to cut down a
little bit there. But some of it is because we
have you know, commercials have to be played obviously, so yeah,
and a lot of it, Jenny, You're right, it is
JJ Rice. Like right now, he's sitting in a cold
room across from my studio. Just in case I start talking,
he will come by and look through the glass, right.

Speaker 13 (52:28):
You know, Yeah, I know, I know. If he manages
your program and it's all his fault, I get it
out with you.

Speaker 4 (52:34):
Like right now, he told me to be quiet so
you can hear Ariana Grande Twilight Zone.

Speaker 13 (52:39):
He did, you know so that you guys played that
so much I couldn't heard for.

Speaker 3 (52:45):
Those No, you guys don't JJ Rice don't have you
so we understand but you know you know who to
talk to, Jenny, so go ahead and look it up.

Speaker 13 (52:51):
Overall, overall, just more of you, guys, I agree anyway,
in any capacity.

Speaker 3 (52:56):
We appreciate the love. Jenny, Jeremy Rice.

Speaker 8 (53:00):
Okay, y'all take care of you too.

Speaker 4 (53:03):
He's over there's just human well day one, welcome back.
His office is at least, honey, y'all, it's far. It's
the very corner.

Speaker 3 (53:12):
Actually, it's as far as possible you can be from us.
Open that door and yell. I'll say, Jeremy, you to
just I'm just kind of curious. He's over there.

Speaker 2 (53:25):
Now your footsteps.

Speaker 3 (53:26):
See what you did? Okay?

Speaker 2 (53:29):
The max suck.

Speaker 3 (53:31):
Now.

Speaker 4 (53:32):
Hey, hey, Jeremy, she didn't say she wanted more of you.
The last thing I heard on the stream was if
you want to hear more lady Gaga over our jokes?

Speaker 8 (53:41):
What?

Speaker 3 (53:42):
H Yeah? What I didn't say at the college setting?
Yeah yeah, yeah, okay, man, you're looking at me. I'm
not talking. So what you said? They want more of JJ, right,
that's what she wanted from me. You're on with Jeremy. Hey,
good morning, how are you all? Good man? What do
you want to say? Happy Happy New Year?

Speaker 10 (54:01):
To you and your crew.

Speaker 7 (54:02):
First time caller.

Speaker 3 (54:03):
All right, right, I've been.

Speaker 9 (54:07):
Listening to your show for about a year now, and
just to suggest, you know, maybe.

Speaker 3 (54:12):
Have more uh cash calling giveaways, but at the same time,
bring give that money back to the children at the
end of the year for Christmas holiday and be recognized
as a donor. No, I like, I like what you're saying.
And back in the day for now. We used to
have five thousand dollars Thursday. On Thursday, we used to

(54:33):
give for away five thousand and then once a month
we gave away ten thousand dollars on Thursday. But Jeremy
Rice decided we shouldn't be doing that, so we don't.
We don't do that. He needed the money so he
could go to like theme parks and stuff. Yeah, he's
right here, he's right here. You can talk to him. Yeah,
I'll work on that for you. Would you would you
like some Taylor Swift tumblers?

Speaker 4 (54:53):
What if we did a thing where you could pay
money to hear what song you wanted to hear, and
then money would go to a good calls and you
wouldn't you get to hear what.

Speaker 3 (55:02):
You want to hear, like Charity that that would be good.

Speaker 4 (55:04):
I do want to do front row with the Orlando
Magic with Johnny Magic, and it goes to a charity,
a kid that little Johnny.

Speaker 11 (55:12):
You know.

Speaker 3 (55:13):
And it's funny how Johnny has his own charity called
Baby DJ.

Speaker 2 (55:15):
But confuse on how you want to win money but
also give it back.

Speaker 3 (55:19):
Yeah, so for now you say, win the money, but
give the money back to the charity.

Speaker 7 (55:25):
Right, You're charity?

Speaker 3 (55:26):
Like you said, Like what's happened Baby DJ? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (55:30):
Like fifty fifty raffle types of Johnny, Baby Johnny. I
like that Baby Johnny's.

Speaker 7 (55:36):
Or any any any charity did y'all have you know
at the end of the year.

Speaker 3 (55:39):
Yeah, children, Baby DJ, not the baby rid not listen.
They said they want more of me. All right, all right,
fordil I got you. I like what you're saying. Man,
I like what you said. You know, we just have
to work out the details. I get it. Stephanie from Orlando,
Good morning, Stephanie. What can we give you more of?
From Johnny's House? And Jeremy Rice right here, good morning.

Speaker 8 (56:03):
So I was I have to have two things.

Speaker 5 (56:05):
So one of them was a You Tuesday segment that
you guys used to do where the listeners would call
in and pick topics for you guys to talk about.
I thought that was kind of fun and spontaneous.

Speaker 3 (56:15):
Well, we're gonna have a We're gonna have a meeting
uh myself, Brian and Ray and go over some stuff
for the show on Wednesday of next weekend. We'll definitely
bring that up.

Speaker 5 (56:23):
Yeah, and then side takers. I absolutely love side takings.

Speaker 3 (56:26):
We haven't done that a long time. Yeah. And that
it also requires people to have problems that tell us
about them. So we need that.

Speaker 8 (56:32):
There's twenty of people with problems.

Speaker 3 (56:35):
And they got to be on the phone and willing
to talk to us. That's the thing that happens is you.

Speaker 8 (56:40):
Want you can call me every week and I'll do it.

Speaker 2 (56:43):
I got so many problems.

Speaker 12 (56:44):
Do you do?

Speaker 3 (56:45):
You do you have any complaints that Jered Morice is here?
Anything that you don't like, let him know he's right here.

Speaker 8 (56:51):
The song of the day.

Speaker 3 (56:56):
You don't like the JJ Rice feel Good Friday song.

Speaker 8 (56:59):
Some of them are hit, some of them are kind
of missed.

Speaker 3 (57:02):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (57:02):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (57:03):
Brian Grime says, my batting average is like forty percent,
which is good if you're a Major League Baseball player
terrible if it's picking.

Speaker 3 (57:09):
Music, Stephanie will We'll bring both of We'll bring both
of those up.

Speaker 8 (57:14):
Okay, okay, perfect, Thank you guys.

Speaker 3 (57:17):
It's about being dangerous. Be but I'm about to go wrong?
Yeah wrong? Yeah? Next other morning, who's this?

Speaker 2 (57:24):
Good morning?

Speaker 9 (57:25):
Johnny's South. This is louis Bill Jason.

Speaker 3 (57:27):
Yeah, what's the weather like in Louisville today?

Speaker 9 (57:31):
It's gonna be a hot about fifty eight.

Speaker 3 (57:33):
That's not too bad. All right, So what can we
give you more of?

Speaker 9 (57:37):
Here's the suggestion for a game. Instead of us calling
to describe what you guys look like, you describe what
the caller looks like. Based we did that.

Speaker 3 (57:47):
We did it once based on Instagram. Yeah, we did
it one time. Yeah yeah, yeah, no, no, no, no,
that would be good. It was funny because it was funny. Yeah,
I just thought, okay, well, thank you, Loville. We appreciate
you listening, all right?

Speaker 10 (58:02):
Yeah like that?

Speaker 3 (58:04):
Ex good morning? Who's this?

Speaker 8 (58:07):
Good morning? Danielle?

Speaker 3 (58:08):
Hey, Danielle? And okay, what do you need? What do
you want more of?

Speaker 13 (58:11):
I just want to say I love Jeremy Rice.

Speaker 10 (58:14):
I think he's doing great, he's perfect.

Speaker 8 (58:17):
Keep on doing you Jeremy Rice and go next.

Speaker 4 (58:19):
Hey, thank you, thank you. I love the Nicks and
I love the Magic. We got to support our Orlando
Magic team. And we need Buffalo bills for our girl Casandra.

Speaker 3 (58:28):
He what did you say your name was?

Speaker 10 (58:29):
Again?

Speaker 3 (58:31):
I don't all right?

Speaker 2 (58:33):
Wife, your wife?

Speaker 3 (58:37):
If he has apologize, they're just talking up on him.

Speaker 2 (58:40):
Somebody, Jeremy. Somebody wants a merch store. Somebody wants us
to design.

Speaker 3 (58:46):
We have merch meetings.

Speaker 9 (58:48):
I know.

Speaker 3 (58:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (58:49):
Those black hoodies are like pretty uh pretty uh nicee awesome.
We need to we need to sell them, give them away.
We're gonna have a high level meeting. We're going to
cater some food. We're going to talk about the Miami Hurricanes.
It's gonna be big.

Speaker 3 (59:05):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (59:05):
I want to keep you keep you that that that recorded,
so I get some food. High level meeting Mobile power
by Attorney Dan Newlan in a wreck. Need to check
it to no brainer, Just call Attorney Dan Newlan. Someone
else mentioned the merch store.

Speaker 3 (59:18):
They like that.

Speaker 4 (59:19):
They want to keep the throwback game songs in the podcast.
We can't do that song four thousand right. Every time
we try to do that. Someone said, more sports reports. Yeah,
I mean, people don't love sports on our station. If
it's a big I do, it's the magic, or of
course it's.

Speaker 3 (59:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (59:39):
So we do stuff like that. And then someone said,
hey man, what you got on that Taylor Swift tumbler.
They're they're sitting in my office and we'll give some
more away.

Speaker 2 (59:50):
Oh sweet, thank you, Jeremy.

Speaker 4 (59:53):
Okay, thanks time temperature back after this, we're two minutes
past the time we're supposed to play a song, so
everyone's freaking out.

Speaker 3 (01:00:03):
He really is the coolest good All right, listen, we
come back trying something new. We gotta talk about Johnny's house.
Then partly sunny today, some calm wins. I have seventy
five and it's still fifty eight the whole next Yes,
it is fifty eight right now. A lot of people
a game. We're talking about New Year's resolutions, and people
want to start some things new, and Brian, you want
to find out anybody started something new, because you feel

(01:00:23):
kind of bad because you haven't.

Speaker 4 (01:00:24):
Yes, I have nothing new that I have, Like I'm
turning over something new this year. I'm getting into something
new this year. Like my wife's starting pilates, okay, and
she's excited about it, and I'm like, I should do that,
but I don't. I don't really have the time too,
because she's gonna go on a certain schedule and so
I can't go together and say you're gonna really work
for me. But I'm like, well, that's cool. She's excited
about it, that's cool. It's it's good for her and
all that stuff. But like, I don't have anything new.

(01:00:45):
You're gonna find something new for myself?

Speaker 2 (01:00:47):
Does it have to be new?

Speaker 3 (01:00:49):
Why it does it have to be? But like, I mean,
it's a new year. Everyone does the new year. You
you try something new.

Speaker 2 (01:00:54):
You love doing the boxing, so like maybe.

Speaker 3 (01:00:57):
I'm gonna do that anyway.

Speaker 2 (01:00:58):
Straight boxing schedule all that is, Like.

Speaker 3 (01:01:00):
Yeah, I mean I'm gonna do that anyway. But that's
not new. I'm gonna tell you, Brian, don't become me.
I don't want to do nothing new. I like what
I like, I'm cool. What I like, I'll revisit. I'll
do it, Like Rage just said, revisit things I stopped doing. Yeah,
something straight up new. No, No, it doesn't have to
be fitness related. It's just something new in your life
that you're gonna do that you haven't done before. The
only thing new I want to try is new places

(01:01:22):
to visit. That's it.

Speaker 9 (01:01:24):
No.

Speaker 4 (01:01:24):
I mean, I'm going to Europe this year see for
the first time, but not until like September, I wasn't
really doing anything new.

Speaker 3 (01:01:29):
That's all I want to do new is visit new places.
Other than that, I don't want to do nothing new.
I'm good. I'm tapped out.

Speaker 4 (01:01:37):
I don't mean more than good because you don't feel
like the pressure to do something new.

Speaker 3 (01:01:40):
I feel like I gotta find something new to start.
My grade to me and say I'm trying. I'm gonna
stop ploting. Good for you. Good job with that. I
just don't have anything. Like she goes to the pilates
and I'm like, hey, it was great, and I'm like,
oh great, is there anything new you wanted to learn?

Speaker 5 (01:01:57):
I don't think so.

Speaker 2 (01:01:59):
I just feel like my life, life has been in
shambles the past couple of years, that like adding something
new would just be like putting something else on the plane.
That's just like tossed up in the air and shambles. Yeah, right, right,
until I get it in order and get it in check.

Speaker 3 (01:02:10):
You're the one you have the young one on the
show you're supposed to be. We can't try this. Have
you ever tried parasitaling? Have you heard time this? Yeah,
those kind of things. Okay, have you eble to jumped
out a plane? And then else? Though?

Speaker 2 (01:02:21):
All right, I'll come back tomorrow with a new attitude.

Speaker 3 (01:02:23):
That's what I'm saying about. Like I would I'm good.

Speaker 4 (01:02:26):
I like I'm for scuba, but I would love that,
but I'm not gonna do it, so like that can't
be my new thing. I would love for it. If
you go do something new, you gotta do it right.
That's what I'm saying. I would love for it to
be my thing. I'm gonna be I'm gonna get certified
and I'm gonna go dive in this year, but I
got no one to do it with, and I know
I'm not gonna do it.

Speaker 3 (01:02:43):
Like that can be my thing.

Speaker 2 (01:02:44):
It's got to be something you know you're gonna do.

Speaker 3 (01:02:46):
I have one just like you. I want to do it,
but I know I'm not gonna do it. But I
want to do it, but we want to do it
for a long long time. I want to learn Spanish. Yeah,
it's so easy for that, Go do it.

Speaker 4 (01:03:00):
I gotta get the first I get the app. Wow,
a few flicks of the thumb. That's really holding back.
I was gonna learn Spanish, but I had. All I
had was some swim trunks. No, no, no, here's the thing.

Speaker 3 (01:03:13):
No, believe me, the workout happen to listen to the podcast. Hey, no,
here's the thing. If I download the app, that means
I gotta do it.

Speaker 10 (01:03:19):
True.

Speaker 4 (01:03:19):
Yeah, that's that's what I'm trying to say. I gotta
do it. If I download it, I gotta do it.
I mean, I'm not trying to convince you to do it. No, no, no,
But like you could do it in your ride, on
your ride home in the car, on your right to
work in the car. You could knock it out. You
don't do anything. You're in the car anyway, your captive
for twenty solid minutes in the car.

Speaker 2 (01:03:37):
Line. Oh you don't have to do that anymore, do you?

Speaker 4 (01:03:39):
Yeah, until you get them license. I still got That's
all I'm saying. Like, I can't get certified to scuba
in the car.

Speaker 3 (01:03:45):
Actually you could. You have to actually get in the walk.

Speaker 2 (01:03:47):
I'm sure there's a virtual course exactly.

Speaker 3 (01:03:49):
You don't have to get in the walk virtual. I
gotta take my word for it.

Speaker 4 (01:03:56):
Wow, Like I just I mean, you don't feel bad
because okay, so I feel like I should start something new. No,
part of it's because my wife did something new. Say
I'm feeling pressure. It's pure pressure. She's doing pilates.

Speaker 3 (01:04:08):
And she loves it.

Speaker 2 (01:04:09):
Wow, you can do pilates and we got that kind
of time, right, Okay, See what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (01:04:15):
I mean, be honest.

Speaker 2 (01:04:17):
You know, if it's something new in if you can't
fit some a forty five minute class in.

Speaker 3 (01:04:21):
I mean, it's not just forty five minutes. You got
to get there, You gotta do it, and you gotta
get home. And you want to rag me about the app.

Speaker 4 (01:04:28):
You could learn Spanish in the commercial breaks. Wow, JJ,
Rice's silly songs. You can leave Spanish.

Speaker 3 (01:04:36):
You want to give me a hard time about downloading
the app? See that's what I'm talking about. I want
to find out have anybody tried something new?

Speaker 2 (01:04:43):
Give us motivation?

Speaker 3 (01:04:44):
Yes, this is not the place I want to find out.
When's the last time you tried something new? Or this
year are you planning on trying something new? All right?
You say, you know what I want to do? This
not actually think about it, but you've made a step
or two to actually do it. I mean you thought
about it. You might even a step would be even
looking up more information on it. That's a step to

(01:05:04):
find out has anyone tried? Or you're gonna try? Something new?

all right, what is something new? You want to try.

Speaker 14 (01:05:57):
Working out again?

Speaker 5 (01:05:58):
Like I haven't done, and I haven't I want to
work out again and I just don't like going to
the gym by myself.

Speaker 3 (01:06:05):
Wow, you meet people, you go regularly, you say hello
to someone, next thing you know, and next thing you know,
you've got a new friend and you got to work
out buddy and all that stuff.

Speaker 8 (01:06:15):
Well, it's funny.

Speaker 13 (01:06:16):
Last time I went a couple of years ago, my
friend had a trainer. We had a trainer, but he
like my.

Speaker 8 (01:06:22):
Friend and and I thought I'm ugly or bigger, and it.

Speaker 6 (01:06:26):
Just like he was paying attention to her.

Speaker 14 (01:06:27):
And then I just.

Speaker 8 (01:06:28):
Stopped and I never went again.

Speaker 3 (01:06:30):
So you stopped working out?

Speaker 5 (01:06:33):
I mean, you're train no listris, So you.

Speaker 3 (01:06:38):
Didn't get it. So you you okay in your group
friend you don't think you're a pretty one. Maybe he
worked out with her more because she needed more work.

Speaker 13 (01:06:48):
No anybody he just here.

Speaker 12 (01:06:53):
I mean I was I was looking for a trainer,
like I like dumb.

Speaker 6 (01:06:56):
I'm like, okay, I'm training.

Speaker 2 (01:06:59):
But he would training on harm more than others too,
Like that's either too.

Speaker 3 (01:07:03):
Maybe See some people got some.

Speaker 9 (01:07:08):
People have the little ghetto gym with my little gym
at my apartment complex.

Speaker 7 (01:07:13):
And I'm like, oh, I see.

Speaker 3 (01:07:16):
Some people are blinded by their friends. They think their
friends are just beautiful and amazing, and you should maybe
your friend with the bigger other two friends, and you
need to work with her a little bit more.

Speaker 8 (01:07:28):
That's that's my goal.

Speaker 4 (01:07:29):
I want to.

Speaker 3 (01:07:30):
Okay, it is easier with the friend because you have accountability.

Speaker 12 (01:07:35):
I go, you go, I go.

Speaker 3 (01:07:37):
Laurie from one apart, good morning, good morning, all right,
something new? What you got.

Speaker 10 (01:07:44):
I'm going the end of February by myself because none
of my friends could go to a camp that uh
it's a book reading clan camp. It's called Pages and
Times and they have it all during the year in
different place. But besides reading books, they have authors to
come and talk. You have yoga in the morning. They

(01:08:07):
have a ropes class you can participate in.

Speaker 3 (01:08:10):
I cannot.

Speaker 10 (01:08:11):
And you meet all kinds of new friends.

Speaker 3 (01:08:13):
I cannot imagine why your friends didn't go with you.
I cannot imagine.

Speaker 10 (01:08:17):
Well, they did, weren't able to. So I decided I'm
gonna go see what it's like and maybe they'll come
with me next time.

Speaker 3 (01:08:25):
Okay, I mean book camp is new.

Speaker 2 (01:08:27):
Yeah, I mean, I'm sure it's gonna be so much
fun though, because you're, like you said, you're gonna meet
a lot of people.

Speaker 4 (01:08:34):
Yes, you don't need those friends, you know, I think
I always say books are stupid, so like for me,
it wouldn't work.

Speaker 10 (01:08:39):
But there's like about eighty people that are gonna be Wow,
you're gonna see.

Speaker 3 (01:08:43):
What's gonna happen is you're gonna meet new friends and
then your other friends gonna ge jealous cause you're not
gonna hang out with them anymore.

Speaker 10 (01:08:48):
Yeah, and you can even buy books fair. They have
books fair. You can trade with people. I don't know.
I've never been before, so it's going to be a
new adventure.

Speaker 3 (01:08:58):
Now. You say camp to me, you sleep over or
you just go back every day.

Speaker 10 (01:09:03):
No, you sleep over, it's true nights and they provide
you with food and snacks.

Speaker 3 (01:09:10):
That's a lot of damn reading.

Speaker 4 (01:09:12):
A relaxing getaway if you're a reader, Like I'm not
a reader, but if you are, that'd be a relaxing getaway.

Speaker 3 (01:09:17):
It would be all right, you hold on a second.
I think that's awesome. I love the fact that everybody
got their own thing. Right, Yeah, And now she's going
to a book reading camp where there's eighty people already
signed up from Claremont Valerie. Good morning, good morning. All right,
what do you want? What's something that you want to
try to do.

Speaker 8 (01:09:34):
I'm going back to school this year.

Speaker 3 (01:09:37):
Okay, okay, you've already done. It's not something you want
to do, You've already taken the step to do so.

Speaker 2 (01:09:43):
Yes, yes, okay, I'm currently I mean, I'm in the
application stage right now, but i am.

Speaker 8 (01:09:50):
Yeah, that's my goal. I want to level up a
little bit.

Speaker 11 (01:09:54):
And good for you.

Speaker 3 (01:09:56):
Congratulations, that's a big step. It's a big step. Be
what it's saying over them Xcel Mobile Power by Attorney
Dan Newlan in the WRECT and need a check. It's
a no brainer, called Attorney Dan Newlan.

Speaker 4 (01:10:04):
Someone said they are making their own bread this year,
but trying to go the whole year without buying store
bo bread.

Speaker 2 (01:10:10):
Wow you mad?

Speaker 3 (01:10:10):
A couple of years ago, to brettmakers were a thing. Yes,
it was the thing. Everybody had one. Well, Laurie, who's
gonna need a break up? She goes to the book
reading camp. We're gonna hook you up with two tickets
to Kings Leon and the Benchmark International Arena.

Speaker 2 (01:10:23):
Ray, what's going on the Critics Choice Awards were last night?

Speaker 3 (01:10:25):
They were well talk about him coming up on Johnny's House.

Speaker 1 (01:10:28):
Now the Johnny's House Entertainment News with Ray.

Speaker 2 (01:10:31):
Did you catch any of the Critics Choice yesterday?

Speaker 3 (01:10:34):
I saw some people sitting together. Yeah, I didn't want sinners,
I know. I saw a group full of though of
them some I'm assuming they want something sinners.

Speaker 2 (01:10:42):
Yeah, okay, So I'll let you little run down for you.
Chelsea Handler was the host. She had her monologue to
honor the late Rob Reiner, and so she did that.
She kind of opened it with it some big things
that happened. Timothy Shallamy did shout out his girlfriend Kylie Jenner,
who was there. He won for Best Actor for his

(01:11:04):
work for Marty Marty Supreme.

Speaker 3 (01:11:07):
A movie out now. It's a ping Pong movie.

Speaker 2 (01:11:09):
Rights Marty Supreme, Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:11:13):
Pong.

Speaker 2 (01:11:13):
I don't know, Yeah, I don't know. But he said
thank you to my partner for three years.

Speaker 6 (01:11:19):
I love you.

Speaker 2 (01:11:19):
I couldn't do this without you. So that was pretty big.
Jimmy Kimmel thanks to the people who supported him. After
his show was briefly taken off the air last year
because uh, you know everything that he said. Uh, let's
see here President Donald Trumpy. But he thanked him basically
for for him to get everything out there and get
all the attention. Yeah, so, but I don't see. After

(01:11:42):
the TV Awards Adolescents one, they got four wins, including
Best Limited Series, and The Pit got the win for
Best Drama Series. So that was for television. The studio
won for the Best Comedy Series. As far as Sinners.
Frankenstein and Sinners led the night with four awards each. Yeah,

(01:12:02):
so cross categories including acting, production, design, and casting.

Speaker 3 (01:12:08):
So yeah, Marty springs about table Tennis.

Speaker 2 (01:12:11):
Oh interesting, Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:12:13):
But everybody saw I say, it's amazing movie.

Speaker 6 (01:12:15):
I know.

Speaker 2 (01:12:16):
Yeah I saw that too. So K Pop Demon Hunters
won for Best Animated Feature, which obviously given one thing
that I saw is like Wicked for Good. They didn't really.

Speaker 3 (01:12:25):
Win, were they nominated?

Speaker 12 (01:12:27):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:12:28):
So Best Films, Best Picture, Wicked for Good. Uh they
lost to one battle after another, isn't crazy?

Speaker 3 (01:12:36):
Yeah? Really, I would expect them to win something, I know.

Speaker 2 (01:12:38):
That's what I was like everything that I saw. I'm
Marty Supreme Hamnet Frankenstein.

Speaker 3 (01:12:43):
It's funny how you know, going into the award season,
everybody's like, you're predicted to win. All the interviews, you
on a carpet, you're predicted to win. How you feel,
blah blah blah. You get there, you get a damn thing.

Speaker 2 (01:12:51):
None of it got nothing. Yeah, best comedy was The
Naked Gun. The Naked Gun, Good Gun. Yep.

Speaker 3 (01:12:59):
I guess there weren't a lot of this year, was there?

Speaker 4 (01:13:01):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:13:02):
So I mean, yeah, if you want to check out
some of those highlights, I know they're on our website.
When yeah, chavarone, She was describing how this past year
was the hardest year of her life yet. I feel
like that's when everybody like found out about who she was.
You know, she really blew up last year and she
faced a ton of obstacles, including displacement from Los Angeles

(01:13:24):
fires and burnouts, and she nearly canceled her US leg
of her tour due to like mental health struggle, so
she stepped back from social media. She said that she
was doing a lot of like doom scrolling, so it
kind of made her her brain feel unwell. Yeah, on
social media and you're just scrolling and strollers.

Speaker 8 (01:13:43):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:13:43):
Yeah, so she searched for a creative renewal, and she
did that through traveling. She learned Spanish, Johnny and reconnected
with culture offline.

Speaker 3 (01:13:55):
She also went to the gym wearing swim trunks. Oh,
I mean, look, mag just check. My gonna be delivered today.
I want to show you this sometime here.

Speaker 2 (01:14:03):
But I mean, obviously she had one of the biggest
songs of the entire year last year, you know, and
some of her music was just massive.

Speaker 3 (01:14:09):
The worst thing you can do is have something on
your mind. And what do you call it when you
scroll doom scrolling, because you never know what your mind's
gonna lock onto.

Speaker 6 (01:14:17):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:14:17):
And once he's locked onto that, man, it just messes
you apart, takes your part.

Speaker 8 (01:14:21):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:14:21):
Also, Tommy Lee Jones, him and his family have broken
their silence. I don't know if you saw that. He
lost his daughter, so his daughter of Victoria. They released
a brief but emotional statement saying that we appreciate you,
appreciate all the kind words, thoughts and prayers, and it
said just please respect our privacy during this difficult time.
I don't know if he saw it. So she was
found on a response of New Year's Day. So at

(01:14:43):
her at a hotel. So people obviously we don't know
exactly what it was, but some are saying it was
a possible overdose. Oh no, yeah, So Tommy Lee Jones,
like I said, him and his family have just now
released a statement.

Speaker 3 (01:14:56):
Wow, and hey, respect this privacy, all right, getting you updated?
Come on, then it's gonna be sunny and seventy five.
What we're looking at.

Speaker 2 (01:15:03):
Now it is sixty two, sixty two, all right.

Speaker 3 (01:15:06):
Second time to a B was trending well.

Speaker 4 (01:15:08):
The travel season was already hectic enough, but everything should
be getting back to normal now at airports and the Caribbeans.
So there was hundreds of canceled flights all those islands,
all because of the US operations in Venezuela. So the
FA decided to close all the airspace because then no
one really knew exactly what was going on or you know,
because it was kind of like a sneak attack type situation.
So they had I had some friends that were actually

(01:15:28):
at a resort. They decided to go last minute and
they couldn't get out. Yeah, so now everything should be
back to normal, and they say airport officials advise travelers
to check your flight status before you go to the airport. Obviously,
tons of people stuck in the tropical islands because of
the restrictions, and they already had trouble because of the
end of the travel season.

Speaker 3 (01:15:47):
Yeah, so it just kind of coincided with that. But
all the airports are back open now. The worst I
dealt it was a forty five minute delay. It's not
bad because I get the first flight out, because chances
are you're gonna get on that flight. That's the way
to do it. I know you don't want to get
up and get going, but you don't get on.

Speaker 2 (01:15:59):
That one four hour delay when we are going to Rochester.

Speaker 3 (01:16:03):
Yeah, did they text you? Do you get a text?

Speaker 2 (01:16:06):
We found out right when we got to the airport
that they was pushed back four hours.

Speaker 7 (01:16:10):
Yep.

Speaker 3 (01:16:12):
That's because should be. Everything should back to normal now,
So that's good.

Speaker 4 (01:16:15):
Gas price is lower than they were a year ago
right now, but with global uncertainty that could change. So
as of yesterday, the state average was two eighty three
per gallon, which is what I saw over at seven
eleven at Maitland.

Speaker 3 (01:16:25):
That's courting to triple A.

Speaker 4 (01:16:27):
It's eight cents less than last year, fifteen cents less
than a month ago and twenty nine cents less than
a year ago from today, so overall pretty low. But
oil prices are stable at the moment, they said, but
because of the developments in Venezuela, which I feel like
they'll find any reason to gestion the gas prices, it
could change. And they say that Florida gas prices fluctuate

(01:16:48):
anyway because a seasonal demand seasonal. So go get you
to eighty three right now. I'm stopping on the way home.

Speaker 3 (01:16:54):
The crazy thing is, I remember a couple years ago
when it was like five bucks close to six bucks
a gallon, and it added all that, you know for
the bag fee and and so well, the prices went
down the feet.

Speaker 2 (01:17:04):
Oh no, they never changed.

Speaker 4 (01:17:05):
Yeah, they were supposed to, like lower our that's the
problem with prices going up. Everyone's like, well, you know,
prices are gonna come down. Don't they already know you're
paying it?

Speaker 2 (01:17:14):
They dropping them out.

Speaker 3 (01:17:16):
Yep, because before it's thirty bucks for a bag was
unheard of, right, but now it's like you want to back.

Speaker 4 (01:17:20):
Someone's got to force them to do. You know what
they should do. They should actually charge you for carry
ons and not for checked bags. Okay, that would solve
all kinds of problems. Yeah, you know what, you know,
people just start wearing all the clothes. Yeah, because all
a lot of the fights of who gets on because
of the overhead space charge you for check for carry ons,
not for checks bags.

Speaker 3 (01:17:39):
Well for the for the little airlines that I do.
If it ain't in the backpack, you're paying for charge
you for everything everything.

Speaker 7 (01:17:45):
Wear.

Speaker 4 (01:17:45):
You're wearing shoes, that's a fee. Shoes, got laces, Oh,
that's a fee. Orlando Magic big win yesterday. Desmond Bane,
Polo ben Caro, and Anthony Black combined for eighty six
points and they outlasted the Indiana Pays one thirty five,
one twenty seven. The lead changed so many times and
each team was ahead by as many as twelve points. Really,

(01:18:07):
that's how crazy the game was. But towards the end
the Magic pulled away.

Speaker 3 (01:18:11):
So now the announcer, you know, announcer announces, try to
coin a phrase that will go you know, yes, I
won't say who he is, but he I was watching
the game and he tried to call him. Who was
the three players you just named, Desmond Bane, Paalo ben
Caro and Anthony Black. He called them the Orlando killer
Bees because all their name starts oh quick one, No, dude,

(01:18:31):
don't do that exactly. The killer Bees, the killer Bees.
They really got it. Oh, I mean I get it.

Speaker 2 (01:18:39):
Somebody got a truckle out of it.

Speaker 4 (01:18:40):
I know the other guy said you liked that. Huh
oh I kind of like that. Yeah, all right, I
mean we've heard the Big Three, the Three Amigos. Now
we got the killer Bees. Okay, up next for the
killer Bees. In the Orlando Magic they traveled to Washington
to take on the Wizards tomorrow night, seven pm to bow.

Speaker 2 (01:18:55):
Too bad they aren't going after the hornets. Ooh, the
Bees versus the US the hornet Maybe.

Speaker 3 (01:19:02):
They played on Christmas Day, I think, or the day
right after Christmas they learned the killer Bees. Then now
that the killer Bees. All right, listen, we're gonna talk
about find out how long you've been working at your job.
Is Johnny's back, Johnny's Johnny's house, We're back. That's when
you're thinking the three things at one time. I realized
that doing baby DJA, I can't think of two. I
used to be able to do that. He could think
of two things at the same time. I can think it.

(01:19:23):
But if I talk it. It's all. It's all coming
together right, as a teacher in Tennessee has a world
record and what did he do?

Speaker 4 (01:19:30):
Uh? Yeah, So the teacher now has been at the
same school for over sixty one years.

Speaker 3 (01:19:36):
Good gracious, I thought they there's no force retirement.

Speaker 7 (01:19:39):
I don't.

Speaker 3 (01:19:39):
I guess not. You gotta be burnt out. I mean
maybe not.

Speaker 2 (01:19:42):
Maybe they just love it. Goodness.

Speaker 4 (01:19:46):
Sixth name is Glinda Akin, sixty one years yep, Wow,
she must like I'm looking at her picture now, you know,
obviously she's an older woman, but she looks like she
must have started really young as a teacher.

Speaker 3 (01:20:00):
I'm trying. She started teaching in nineteen sixty three. All right, Wow,
So we want to find out who has been working
the longest at their job. And the reason I was
pausing that for a second I had to pull my
calculator out to do some math on how long I've
been here advocacy. Yes, I I guess today. Well actually yeah,

(01:20:22):
I actually was officially hired on the first day of
January ninety so I was thirty seven years thirty seven long. Yeah,
I ain't gona say hard because ain't nothing about his
job with hert not waking up right thirty seven years

(01:20:42):
and I was thinking about it the other day. I
always I always think about New Year's e because that's
when I drove the town for the very first time.
And I drove the town and I was listening to
this to the to this radio station in my beat
up car that had a slide radio. Had you would
push the button that slide car, you know, the slot radio. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
And the way you said it is that where the
station you want, you pull it out and then you

(01:21:03):
push it back in. Yep, and we push it. But
I was hired here to do to be the night guy,
the new night guy, this brand new station, x L
one O six seven. And for the first three years
we were five years, we were horrible. I remember getting
ratings that were like one point nine two point three.
I think the first couple of years are lost about
I think we lost three four million dollars. And that's

(01:21:25):
the Christmas party. The owner got drunk and said, we
lost three million dollars a year. I ain't gonna lot
of y'all. I ain't losing again. A lot of y'all
here won't won't be here next year. I was like,
I mean, if you know the company losing money, you
should assume you ain't staying.

Speaker 2 (01:21:40):
Yeah, I mean you're lucky. You even had a Christmas party?

Speaker 3 (01:21:43):
He said, Yeah, we lost three million last year. We
lost three and a half million this year, and I
can't We're not gonna lose any more money. So I
want you to enjoy yourselves. And makes sense. A lot
of y'all ain't gonna be here next year. And I
remember the girl I took, She goes, y'all stay, So yeah,
it does, it does. Ray, what's as long as you've

(01:22:05):
never been employed somewhere?

Speaker 2 (01:22:06):
I'm here. This is my Yeah, this is my sixteenth
yearen is that crazy? Is that crazy? Sixteen years?

Speaker 6 (01:22:20):
Eh?

Speaker 3 (01:22:21):
Wow, that is crazy?

Speaker 2 (01:22:22):
Sixteen Yeah, I'm closer to forty now, Wow, forty years old.

Speaker 3 (01:22:30):
You're not there yet?

Speaker 2 (01:22:33):
Well, Johnny still thinks I'm what twenty twenty six?

Speaker 3 (01:22:36):
Yeah, twenty six. You stop at the age I Mitch, Yeah,
that's what you stop and be havingy for you, it
has to be a longer. Yeah. June will be twenty.
June will be twenty five years twenty. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:22:48):
They hired me as promotions for Red Hot and Boom,
which happens in July. Yeah, so they hired me in
June to work Red Hot and Boom basically, and I
just never left.

Speaker 10 (01:22:57):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (01:22:58):
That was in two thousand and one. Was that when
I told you to bring a resume? He met me
in the Pocamon? That was after that.

Speaker 4 (01:23:04):
So I got my job get in promotions because I
worked at a different company where Glory he used to
work here. Her cousin was an engineer at the company
I worked for, and when I start working there, I
started looking for another job. He said, oh, I know
you know this guy, and she said, all right, cool,
So she brought me into My wife actually heard a
commercial on the radio for them hiring for the X

(01:23:24):
one or six seven fun and games department, and she's like,
you know, you should go check it out.

Speaker 3 (01:23:28):
So I went.

Speaker 4 (01:23:29):
And it turns out that Glory knew her cousin obviously,
who knew me, And so it could just kind of
worked out.

Speaker 3 (01:23:35):
What made you want to come over to I never
left to the broadcast.

Speaker 4 (01:23:38):
I knew how to DJ and stuff, and I was
into being funny and you know, coming up with sarcastic
jokes and and so I always had kind of like
a like a desire to do that. And then I
worked in an office job and I would listen to
the radio, and more I listened to it, the more
I'd be like, Man, I can't be stuck in the
office job. It's like I could do everything these people
are doing better than them. And so I went and

(01:23:59):
I did it a funny thing. I mean, we're we're
straight up corporate. I mean we will corporate then, but
not as corporate. It's gotten more corporate everything that was now.
When I got here, it was already corporate, but it
wasn't as as corporate as it is now.

Speaker 3 (01:24:12):
Ray, I just find interns at bars. Yeah, I remember
you saying that you want me to come in Monday.

Speaker 4 (01:24:19):
So I was working promotions that like chillers, I'm sure
with you and Doc, and I'm like, hey, I want
to be on the show cool coming on Monday.

Speaker 3 (01:24:29):
But I would, but I showed up in the parking
lot before Johnny. Hey, I'm here, Oh coming here? If
you know how to parking lint is is dark? Yeah,
My key didn't even work back then.

Speaker 2 (01:24:39):
Do you remember his.

Speaker 3 (01:24:41):
I worked you already, I just wasn't in the programming side.
Hey playo. Yeah, man told me to give me my
resume and back then his paper resume. He had a resume.
It was all press. Wow, I had very little radio
experience on it. By the way, I like what he well,
come on up already, come on up, Hey, who's that

(01:25:04):
guy Brian? He's gonna be working with his now.

Speaker 4 (01:25:07):
Yeah, during we're so we used to be separate rooms,
and so there we have a talkback button and so
if you push that, people on on the radio won't
hear what you say, but we'll hear it in the
other room. So mid sentence doc at the time, yay
EXL when I was an examinance Tuesday morning in the
talk back, who the blank are you?

Speaker 3 (01:25:29):
And then he just rolled kept rolling through with I'm like,
I don't know how to answer that. How many people
do we have on the show at the time? Yeah,
I think we mind had eight? Eight?

Speaker 4 (01:25:39):
Yeah, we had what late Kate and a JJ We
had a half pint at one point before the show
and me, I go to management and you go ahead, higher.

Speaker 2 (01:25:53):
Now we have to get like person to come into
this room.

Speaker 3 (01:25:56):
Oh my goodness, it was I remember, Hey, man, I
need some hours, just sit down.

Speaker 4 (01:26:05):
We used to gamble after the show, playing cards, in
the other room cause I have had everything else to
do rating, then they had to be pretty good, pretty good.

Speaker 3 (01:26:14):
Yeah, yeah, because we didn't. We weren't when I started.

Speaker 4 (01:26:16):
Doc and Johnny was kind of, you know, at his
peakish time, so number it was like you we were
always number one whatever.

Speaker 6 (01:26:23):
You know.

Speaker 3 (01:26:24):
Obviously there's no way we could have been gambling the
way we did if we weren't winning. No, we were
gambling for money. We would cash money, we bet on everything.

Speaker 2 (01:26:33):
It just sounds like a party every morning kind of
was with that many people.

Speaker 4 (01:26:37):
And no responsibility after the show, Like so you weren't
doing multiple stations, multiple shows, all that other stuff. So
like we'd go back to the office and we would read,
tell jokes, whatever, and we would you know, have guests,
our friends come and hang out with us, gamble drinker.
Our office used to be right across from what used

(01:26:57):
to be reception, and there's these big glass windows and
you can see out into the lobby. So we would
stand up on my desk and when somebody walk in,
we'd bang on the windows as loud as.

Speaker 3 (01:27:05):
They could, and then we'd back ups and they couldn't
see us. Oh, it was we were idiots. And then
we got caught and they moved us the next day. See,
y'all gotta get out of here. Yeah, the corporate meeting
was going on. Well now we're straight up corporate. Can
you imagine me bringing somebody in right now? They work
on the show, y'all woul look at me like what
the hell?

Speaker 10 (01:27:18):
Yeah?

Speaker 9 (01:27:18):
Right?

Speaker 4 (01:27:19):
I can't imagine a world where I get to go
sit in the office and gamble for three hours at
the show.

Speaker 12 (01:27:26):
Like what.

Speaker 3 (01:27:26):
I won't say his name on there because I know
he's listening. He had no money, he wanted to ken
did to tell you to buy the gamble? So I
took his belt and the shoelare we used to make
him mad as.

Speaker 2 (01:27:34):
Shoelaces, and he walked out of here in no shoelace shoelaces.

Speaker 3 (01:27:38):
Because he wasn't good at it. And they got mad
at me, said, man, get a man shoelaces back. Nope,
you hold up his pants shoes popping. It should be
a listen to stop gambling. Don't get mad at me.
You shouldn't be gambling. So we want to find out
what is the longest you've worked at your job, The
longest you've ever worked at your job. This person got

(01:28:00):
sixty one years in the school. Soon when's retirement? Now?
Is at thirty for schools? I don't know what it
is like how long you have to be there? I
mean she's been there sixty one she got two full careers.
I knew someone at my kids. Uh, she listens. I
ain't gonna say the name. But today that she reach retirement.
She was gone on a Tuesday, on a random week.

(01:28:23):

you been at the same job?

Speaker 14 (01:29:14):
I would say about thirteen years?

Speaker 3 (01:29:16):
Thirteen years. And how old were you when we started?

Speaker 14 (01:29:24):
Well, I don't really want to say that, but I
will say her son was ten years old and now
he's twenty three. I do professional organizing and household management
for a doctor, so I pretty much ran her household.
I ran his, you know, like a doctor's appointment.

Speaker 3 (01:29:45):
Yeah, etc.

Speaker 9 (01:29:47):
Do you what do you?

Speaker 3 (01:29:48):
Why do you? Why do you think? Of all the jobs?
Why do you think you stayed there fourteen years?

Speaker 14 (01:29:53):
I do have other clients on the side, but her
I stayed because she treats me so well and she's
like family, so she really we both appreciate each other,
and so you know, he knows I'm irreplaceable kind of worker.

Speaker 3 (01:30:09):
And it feels good to feel that way.

Speaker 14 (01:30:12):
Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 3 (01:30:12):
Okay, all right, well, thank you, Marcia, Okay, thank you.
I didn't mean offender.

Speaker 4 (01:30:17):

tell you I got to know it's been a minute,

Speaker 3 (01:30:22):

Speaker 7 (01:30:26):
Hey, good morning, Johnny Ray and Brian.

Speaker 12 (01:30:28):

i've been.

Speaker 9 (01:30:47):
There for it'll be thirty four.

Speaker 1 (01:30:49):
Years in March.

Speaker 3 (01:30:51):
Real, yeah, thirty four years.

Speaker 12 (01:30:53):
It's like, and I won't be offended, but it's half
of my frigging life.

Speaker 7 (01:30:58):
Wow to say that.

Speaker 3 (01:31:00):
Wow.

Speaker 8 (01:31:01):
You know.

Speaker 3 (01:31:01):
The funny thing is I set in. They had their
their their owner come in from from London, and I
sat in because they wanted to present him a check
for maybe DJ. And they were talking about all these
numbers and I sat there and told them, I said, listen, man,
I've been sitting here for about a hour and a half.
I still don't know what y'all do Over him, he
started to laughing, I have no idea what you got

(01:31:22):
going on? Here, but thank you.

Speaker 9 (01:31:24):
You know, I was just looking at that video the
other day.

Speaker 12 (01:31:27):
I just shared it with somebody because you know, I
had Henry or whoever from he was from Excel, who
was from but he sent the clips to me and
I've just shown it to somebody and they were like,
oh my god, that is so impressive.

Speaker 9 (01:31:40):
H but I do you were also talking about.

Speaker 12 (01:31:43):
Number our seven eleven.

Speaker 3 (01:31:45):
Yeah, they had like a store setup that you just
go and get stuff. It was like set up and
I'm like, nah, it's nice. Yeah, I'll be making bank
man thirty four years. All right. All right, well Helen again,
thank you, and you know we'll see you here real soon.

Speaker 10 (01:31:57):
Yep.

Speaker 9 (01:31:58):
Thanks guys, take care of the Yellen.

Speaker 3 (01:32:00):
All right and if we went a part Tony.

Speaker 7 (01:32:03):
Good morning guys.

Speaker 9 (01:32:04):
Thanks for having me all.

Speaker 3 (01:32:06):
Right, Tony. And how long you've been working in the same.

Speaker 6 (01:32:08):
Place forty five years?

Speaker 3 (01:32:11):
Hair stylist Ooh, forty five years. I'm just curious. How
have you seen hair change or trends change in forty
five years?

Speaker 6 (01:32:20):
Oh my god, it's dramatic from year to year, year
to year, between cutting and hair coloring, there's always something
exciting and new and it's so fun to be creative
and gives people the looks they want and when you
see them smile, you know you've got a good job.

Speaker 3 (01:32:38):
Now, forty five years ago, what was in the big hair?
Was that the big hair time? Yes? So how many
cans big hair?

Speaker 7 (01:32:44):
So?

Speaker 3 (01:32:45):
How many cans the hairspray? Did you have to put
on somebody's hair just to get out of the salon?

Speaker 6 (01:32:49):
About six kids of Paul Mitchell? Wow?

Speaker 3 (01:32:55):
Wow? So you you really love what you do?

Speaker 1 (01:32:59):
I do.

Speaker 3 (01:33:00):
I love it so much.

Speaker 6 (01:33:01):
I love the people and I get young people, old people.
It's just fantastic. And every day is a chance to
be creative and I love.

Speaker 3 (01:33:09):
That is love it Is it really a thing when
you it's called cheating on your stylist?

Speaker 6 (01:33:16):
Well, yes, unfortunately it is. Sometimes people will go somewhere
else and think the grass is greener, or they don't
want to pay the price that you charge, but it
always works out. They always come back.

Speaker 3 (01:33:30):
In the eighties they had the mullets, and now the
bullets back again.

Speaker 9 (01:33:34):
Yes, yeah, that's the truth.

Speaker 3 (01:33:37):
Has Tony has anyone ask you for a certain style
and you go, no, no, baby, baby, no, No that's right.
I can't. I can't co sign on that. Will you
ever do that? Yes?

Speaker 6 (01:33:48):
Yes, And there's times that you have to word it
just carefully without offending them. And it's difficult that you
look at their hair and you're like, that's not going
to happen.

Speaker 2 (01:33:58):
You just don't have enough damn. Yeah, I mean at
least you're honest.

Speaker 6 (01:34:05):
Yeah, you have to be because when they leave and
they try to do it themselves, it's just not going
to happen, you know.

Speaker 3 (01:34:11):
Wow.

Speaker 9 (01:34:12):
And I don't have a magic.

Speaker 3 (01:34:13):
Bond, you know, make them have more hair, or you
can always sow some in, right, you know, weave it up. Yeah,
you can weave it up. You know what I'm saying.
Weave it up. All right?

Speaker 9 (01:34:25):
That's right.

Speaker 3 (01:34:25):
Well, Tony, thank you and congratulations and find a job
that you love, a career you really love.

Speaker 6 (01:34:30):
Well, thanks guys, I hope you all have a great
day you too.

Speaker 3 (01:34:33):
Thank you for calling and holding on Tonio. Okay, all right,
I know ring what up?

Speaker 2 (01:34:38):
Somebody said twenty three years in March, I have seven
more to go. Somebody said I have friends hitting thirty
years this year, twenty eight years, thirty six years, and
they're officially done.

Speaker 3 (01:34:52):
Oh, they're done this year uh huh woah, and Brian,
what's whatever? I ask them?

Speaker 4 (01:34:56):
What power by Attorney Dan Newlan interrect needed check its
and no brainer, just call it attorney Dan Newland's someone
started driving a school bus at twenty five.

Speaker 3 (01:35:02):
They've been doing it for going on twenty three years. Okay,
let's see.

Speaker 4 (01:35:06):
So someone said they've been in their job for twenty
six years. But a little culture change isn't all that great.
So they're trying to find a new one.

Speaker 3 (01:35:11):
How many years? Twenty six years and they're gonna find
a new job. I'm happy. Culture must have really changed,
no joke. Wow, all right, it's not forty four. Let's
get out be starting off for a brand new year
all over again. We gotta get out of here. Ray,
what you gotta go on today?

Speaker 2 (01:35:25):
I'm hopefully going to the gym. My daughter has softball assessments?

Speaker 3 (01:35:30):
What is softball?

Speaker 2 (01:35:31):
Basically tryouts? Oh well, they kind of like a sesson.

Speaker 3 (01:35:33):
They don't call it trouts anymore. Assessment. They place you
on a team, right, yeah, they try to keep them
all even.

Speaker 2 (01:35:39):
Yeah, so like not one team has all the good ones,
you know. So it's like assessments today and tomorrow.

Speaker 3 (01:35:44):
So the season started again.

Speaker 2 (01:35:46):
Yeah, my son has chosen to do soccer instead of baseball.
Let's go around.

Speaker 3 (01:35:51):
So how you're gonna handle that, that's questionable.

Speaker 2 (01:35:54):
It's a good question.

Speaker 4 (01:35:55):
Oh yeah, cause it's gonna be different days, different times.
All that your son does know, it's gonna beess I
stop running.

Speaker 2 (01:36:00):
Yes, And he needs that. Okay, he needs that because
sometimes he gets bored with baseball. I get it, and
so I think that's why he wants.

Speaker 8 (01:36:06):
To try it.

Speaker 3 (01:36:07):
Okay, good, Yeah, good, But you got anything today? Uh? Nip.

Speaker 4 (01:36:10):
Just trying to get back on the you know track.
Once you're gone for a while, I gotta get everything
back in order. So yeah, just trying to do that. Yeah,
I was still and Brian, I woke up at like
eleven o'clock last night and.

Speaker 2 (01:36:18):
I was just like huh oh yeah yeah, And then
like the rest of the Steelers game was on, so
I started watching that.

Speaker 3 (01:36:26):
I'm like, nope, Yeah, I tried everything.

Speaker 4 (01:36:28):
I'm meditating, I was praying and you know what, let
me just it's the one that's like my last night
to sleep.

Speaker 3 (01:36:33):
Yeah, that didn't happen, So I guess I'll try to
get caught up with that. Yeah, all right, we had
this thing over the round seacrets have a beautiful day.
