seven four twenty four to twenty four, It's West Michigan
Live with Justin Barklay on Wood Radio.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
Welcome inn folks. What's going on today? Holy Smokes Network's
own moment. We'll wrap up the President's trip here to
Michigan in the latest story spot. He could be going
to jail. No, not that, President Clinton. And we'll tell
you why. There's a little bit of a thought process

(00:43):
on this. You know, they sent Navarral to jail, They
sent Bannon to jail, These all these people held in
contempt there Congress because they wouldn't show up. Same reason.
Clinton's under the microscope. Now we'll find about it.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
News, weather and traffic. I'm his stories of the day.
We are talking about what matters most in West Michigan
and beyond.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
This is the big three.

Speaker 1 (01:12):
Now say speak.

Speaker 2 (01:13):
Three coor truth, logic and common sense. And you could
take us anywhere you go on the iHeartRadio app or
anywhere you listen, including Facebook, Twitter, x, rumble gat Her locals, Yes, Eva,
justin Barklay dot com. We we've got chances for you
to join the conversation. In fact, Tammy says in the chat,
justin on my phone in one hand and grand boy

(01:35):
in the other. It's priorities. I like it. Yesterday you
heard from Dave Gallaway at Hardland Home Mortgage talking about
the interest rates and the big news on the economic front.
President Trump had a little bit to talk about that
credit cards and whatnot yesterday making big news. Listen if
you are trying to save a buck or two, and
maybe you want to take a look at the mortgage

(01:56):
rates right now and see where you might phone what
it might do for you, whether it's buying the home
or you need to refinance a equity line of credit,
cut out some of that credit cards debt. Those are
the things that they can help you do at the
Home Mortgage that's Heartland Home Mortgage, HHM lending dot com.
Reach out the day of the team to see if
they can help you. Know, mortgage rates have fallen and

(02:18):
in such a way that if you don't call, you
may miss out. You need to find out number one,
how they can help you. Well, the Supreme Court heard
oral arguments yesterday on the trans athletes issue. In the
ACLU had a problem. They didn't have a definition of
what a woman is. I don't I don't love if

(02:39):
you missed this.

Speaker 3 (02:40):
Fort story of students classified as always in a category
of students classified as girls. Yes, your honor, If it
does that, then is it not necessary for there to
be for equal protection purposes? If that is challenged under
the equal protection clause, an understanding of what it means
wants to be a boy or a girl or a

(03:02):
man oral woman?

Speaker 4 (03:03):
Yes?

Speaker 5 (03:04):
Suretter?

Speaker 3 (03:04):
And what is that definition for equal protection purposes? What
does what does it mean to be a boy or
a girl or a manoral woman?

Speaker 2 (03:12):
Samuel asking Kathleen Hartnet, the attorney for the biological male athlete.

Speaker 6 (03:19):
Here, Sorry, I misunderstood your question. I think that the
underlying enactment, whatever it was, the policy, the law would
we'd have to have an understanding of how the state
where the government was just understanding that term to figure
out whether or not someone was excluded. We do not
have a definition for the court.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
So no, O, no, that's okay, because you've got a
Supreme Court justice. It feels the same way on the
Court as well. How this all shakes out anyone's guess.
But we do have a little bit of a clue
into it all from some of the questions that were
asked yesterday. We'll try and get to that. Could Bill
Clinton end up in Jill Like I said, there's president here,

(03:55):
Bill and Hillary bulf refusing to testify in that Epstein,
Republicans in Congress threatening them with contempt. You know, they
did this, like I said to Bannon, they did it
to Navarro, they did it to a number of people,
and they did jail time. So James Comer says, you know,
we're gonna take this very seriously. Why wouldn't we take

(04:18):
a look at the very same situation for Bill Clinton?

Speaker 7 (04:22):
All right, Well, I think everyone knows by now Bill
Clinton did not show up. And I think it's important
to note that this subpoena was voted on in a
bipartisan manner by this committee. This wasn't something that I
just issued as chairman of the committee. This was voted
on by the entire committee. In a unanimous vote of

(04:43):
the House Overside Committee to subpoena former President Clinton and
former sect a state.

Speaker 2 (04:48):
Hillary Clinton, by the way, a very tanned congresswoman Lord
and Bolbert in the background holding a picture of Bill Clinton.
It is the painting the portrait that was done and
found that Epstein home in New York City of Clinton
in the dress, blue dress, red hills, which point there
has to raise an eyebrow er too well. Trump says

(05:10):
he's going to stop it. Federal payments to sanctuary cities
going out February first, will be halted, according to the
latest reports, over the next month because of those immigration policies.
He made that statement and several others that are making
the news yesterday at the Detroit Economic Forum at that

(05:31):
club there in Detroit, where folks got to meet and
talk about what's coming next in twenty twenty six and
the progress made in the last year. President Trump talking
about those wins, touring Ford's River Rouge Complex in the
Dearborn there and claiming the fast turnaround, wanting the tariff's

(05:52):
auto investment, and promising more moves on housing, credit cards,
and health costs. Here he was yesterday talking to the
folks at CBS News about some of these issues and
talking about how big some of the big moves have.

Speaker 4 (06:05):
Been woke up this morning and they saw that. You
said help is on the way. Yeah, what do you
mean by that?

Speaker 8 (06:10):
Well, there's a lot of help in the way and
in different forms, including economic health from our standpoint, and
we're not gonna help Iran very much. And you know,
we put Iran out of business with a nuclear capacity.
And now, depending on what's actually happening, nobody's been able
to give us accurate numbers about how many people they've killed. Well,
on that, it looks like it could be a pretty

(06:32):
substantial number, and that's gonna be a lot of problems,
So that a.

Speaker 4 (06:36):
Lot of problems on that point. You did say the
US would get involved if Iran started killing protesters. They
have by the many thousands, according to report.

Speaker 8 (06:45):
We'll see what that is. I've heard two numbers, but
we'll see what that Well.

Speaker 4 (06:48):
Now we're hearing that they're gonna start hanging protesters tomorrow.
So it comes back to the question, have they crossed
your red line or has the line moved?

Speaker 2 (06:55):
I haven't heard about the hanging.

Speaker 8 (06:56):
If they hang them, you're gonna see some things that
I don't know what you're where you come from, and
what your thought process is, but you'll perhaps be very happy.

Speaker 4 (07:08):
What do you mean by that?

Speaker 8 (07:09):
We will take very strong action if they do such
a thing, We will take very strong.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
Action, very strong action.

Speaker 5 (07:15):
Men.

Speaker 2 (07:18):
Uh, I don't think I'd want to be sitting in
there run right now as the supreme leader with everything
going on, knowing what we just watched play out in Venezuela.

Speaker 1 (07:32):
Call Justin now at six one six seven seven four,
twenty four twenty four at six one six seven seven
four twenty four twenty four, West Michigan Live with Justin
Barclay on News Radio would thirteen hundred and one oh
six nine a f M.

Speaker 2 (07:47):
Now. Lots of lots of talk today, not just about
what he said, but what he did yesterday at that
Ford plant. Trump was some digital communication. Listen, it's inevitable.
We're gonna have to talk about it. It's on point.
And like I gotta tell you, I don't know how
to explain this to you with every fiber of my
being because I don't. I don't communicate this way the

(08:11):
hand gestures, you know, I don't. I don't point fingers
or flip birds. But that's what the president did. Yet
yesterday he was being heckled by some I guess a
union worker there at that Ford plant, and he flipped
that bird in in in such a way, in such

(08:33):
a fashion that it's got It's got lots of folks
talking today, and you know, I just don't know how
to say this. I love it, and I shouldn't. I shouldn't.
I know, I shouldn't. I should be telling you right now,
I should be saying, oh, the decorum the president didn't
do that, But but I don't think people realize. And

(08:54):
I gotta say this, and I'm not defending the action
because again I'm not. This is not I wouldn't do it,
but I understand they tried to kill him multiple times.
They've tried to kill the guy over and over and over.
In to what it boils down to, some of you people,
you're missing it because I and listen, I love you,

(09:14):
but some of you are missing it thinking that you know,
twenty twenty six just another it's just another election, and
it's just no we're talking about whether it or not
the nation survives. This is you gotta understand where we
are and one of the problems, and it is one

(09:37):
of the biggest problems that we face right now. But
it's it's the problem. You gotta wrap your mind around this.
People on the right, I'll call you Republicans, even libertarians,
some of you, you don't get it. I love you,
But let me break it down for you. Folks on

(09:58):
the right don't want to save the country as much
as some of those folks on the left want to
destroy it. You have to understand where we are. And
by the way, in New York City, I think this
is common communication. So this is this is this is

(10:23):
nothing compared to what I say. I want a president
who won't do that. Yes, I understand, I get it,
I do too. But do you want a president who's
gonna save the country? Do you want to? But it's
not just the country anymore. What we're watching play out,
we're talking about the world at this point. And by
the way, what saves the country is America first. What

(10:47):
saves the world is the very same thing, America first.
As an America thrives, the world does too. America is
the last line of defense of all the globalism, all
the insaneanity, all the communism, the social all of the isms.
Uh and uh, you know I heard this the other
day and it cracked me. Up the Duck dynasty. Phil

(11:09):
Robertson said, I don't believe Apparently it was his son
telling the story. I only believe in two kinds of isms,
and I I kind of agree with him. He said,
capitalism and baptism, and I like that too, Yeah, I

(11:30):
like I like that too. But folks, you know, I
just don't understand what we're up against. And this is
the pivotal moment in the fight. So a little little
digital communication, as I said, you know, I think I
can forgive that. Well, I I don't. You know, It's
not like I couldn't, don't it, But I can understand

(11:50):
it all right? Oh the world we're in today, Lord
help us. Hey still lots to come today. We want
to get you in the conversation as well. Justin at

I'm Robin Hoffman. It's a Midwesterner dot news original story.
President Trump back here in Michigan visiting the Ford plant,
meeting with factory workers, shaking hands and taking selfies. The
President noting the historic economic turnaround and auto resurgence in Detroit,

(14:19):
Trump saying, I'm back in Michigan to report to you
on the strongest and fastest economic turnaround in our country's history.
In other news, Michigan Secretary of State Democrat Jocelyn Benson
facing more allegations of racism in her department. A civil
lawsuit filed now against Benson, her department, and several staff
members on behalf of four black employees who alleged they

(14:43):
were subjected to a racially hostile environment. The suit marks
at least the third time Benson has faced allegations of racism.

Midwesterner dot News.

Speaker 2 (14:58):

that worked, that you know, you just got to be
your best listen, time to take advantage. Maybe you're kind

(15:44):
of waking up exhausted that dad bud weighing you down,
lost that spark, Well everything is uh well, it's not
just getting older anymore. Your hormones and metabolism might be
out of balance. In this year, you can get back
to the old you, the sharp, energetic fund you with mentality.

(16:04):
Mentality isn't just a macho low T clinic. No, they

results and create a personalized science backplan using hormone therapy,
an FDA proof PEF type treatments, and right now new
patient labs are included in your treatment plan at two
hundred and fifty dollars savings. So you can schedule today

(16:27):
at low TUSA dot com. Go to low tusa dot com.
That's low tusa dot com and tell them we sent you,
but do it today so you can be back on
track and be called be the man you were called
to be. All right, there is an update. They told
you that President Trump had some digital communication with a

(16:48):
union worker at Ford yesterday. You flipped them the bird.
We have that story, and of course, you know, the
left is losing their minds over and again just going
down this this whole wacky, slippery slope is wild to me.

(17:09):
It's just like the thing in Minneapolis. That woman who
was attempting to run over a couple. We don't know
what she was actually trying to do. We can't get
inside of her head, but she did hit the cop
with her car and he eliminated the threat. Unfortunately, the
whole thing resulted in her death. Now, if she would
have hit the cop and killed him and ran him over,

(17:29):
the Left would be celebrating in the streets. This is
the weird world we live in today. I'm not excited
about anybody losing their life, but this is what we're
dealing with. So when you see Trump flip of a
guy who's heckling on a Ford plane, you know it's
not It's not something I get too excited about. It's
not necessarily something that I would do. But again, it

(17:51):
I'm not him, and that's that's probably a really a
really good thing, I'd say.

Speaker 9 (17:57):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (17:57):
Anyway, the news on this guy that flipped it was
flipped off the Heckler. The Heckler has been suspended. Now.
I've been told too in the chat, and this doesn't
surprise me because this is the kind of world we're in. Now.
I've been told in the chat that they have started
a go fund me for the Heckler who has been suspended,

(18:23):
and anybody know how much they've raised. We'll have to
dig in and find out to see if we can
get an update on this and how much they've raised
for this man. But you know, it's it's the whole
play stupid games, win stupid prizes. There's a fine line
because not only yeah, if you play stupid games, you
could win stupid prizes, right, but now you could you

(18:47):
could hit the lottery. Because of these go fund me
attempts and some of the things that we've we've seen
this lately. I mean, it's crazy. So they reward they
were war and they incentivize some of this behavior on
the left and it is and now they're trying to
they are they're trying to canonize, trying to make a

(19:09):
martyr one hundred and fifty grand for the guy at well,
he's going to retire. It probably tried sue Ford first
and then and then it'll retire. Well, that's you know,
that's there's some sort of somebody call Sam or somebody
sitting out there right now thinking how do we how
do we get some no out of Ford on this one?

(19:34):
That's the world we live in. James Dixon joining us. Next.
We're going to talk some of the latest in the
election integrity updates and breaking news that we talked with
McComb County Clerk Anthony for Leni about yesterday, non citizens
not only on the voter rolls but also in the

(19:54):
roles for the juries. Now, how in the world does
this even happen? He discovered it yesterday. The the conversation
we had about if you haven't listened to it yet,
you go back on the podcast, the iHeartRadio apper we
got to post it on a couple of different sites
as well, but it's worth a listen. James and I
dive in to that in the News of the day
on the way. So much more to get to as well.

(20:15):
We've got inflation numbers and that story out of Minneapolis
continues to grow. The Somali suitcase dash more move from
Ohio to Minnesota. The story and the details you will
not want to miss after this bird bird bird chat
today is cracking me up. The bird, the bird bird,

(20:37):
bird bird is the word. Hey, we know there was
one guy, you know, that Heckler at the Ford plant
that's getting all the attention. And one hundred and fifty
thousand dollars they've got raised for a gofund me. Now
these crazy, I mean, it's just the times that we're
in our just nuts. But that's not the full picture

(20:59):
of the receipt yesterday at the fore plant. Mostly nice
for the president here he is to walk it in.
Lots of those autoworkers, by the way, there's a woman

(21:20):
there getting her picture with the president. Lots of those
autoworkers very happy about what he's done for the industry.
And and uh and trying to really safe and salvage.
Are you a company like FOURD who had to scrap
the lightning? I mean he was at the truck plant yesterday.
They had just put the put the lightning on the
on ice because they pull the plug because the thing

(21:42):
wasn't selling. I mean absolutely incredible. So that and so
many other things, President Chump making news for yesterday. Here's
another one relief for the American people.

Speaker 8 (21:56):
I think that people that are paying twenty eight percent
interest should be protected. We're talking about for a one
year period. But when you have a bank, whether it's
Jamie Diamond or anybody else judging people twenty eight thirty
two percent, thirty percent, thirty one percent, one case, thirty
five percent. No, I'll help those people. That's all rights

(22:20):
to one year ten percent. Let the people have a break.
I think that people that are paying twenty eight percent
interest should be protected.

Speaker 2 (22:28):
That's the comments yesterday from the President. We'll talk about
those things and more. Obviously trying to make a big
splash and economically add the Detroit Economic Club. He mentioned
lots of those things. You get into these high brows
sort of like you know, really you know, they're conversations
that are really academic and whatnot and based on theory

(22:51):
and get into the data. But what really matters is
what the people are feeling and what they're talking about
at the kitchen table. That's that's what moves needle in
this country and with elections as well. James Stixon joins
us Now down I seventy five over on X and
the James Dixon Podcast. Always a pleasure. Appreciate you taking

(23:12):
the time to be here with us today.

Speaker 5 (23:13):
Sir, Hey, good morning, justin thanks for having me.

Speaker 2 (23:16):
You have been out and I sear detect a little
bit of something going on in the voice there. You've
been out pounding the pavement talking to folks across the state.
Hopefully you're not losing your voice because James, you know
people are dependent on you, my friend.

Speaker 5 (23:30):
You know, just a little bit of RFK voice going
on today. But you know we kicked off to make
news or make politics local again. Speaking tour this week. Yeah,
and people might be shocked by my voice that I'm
doing the speaking tour. I don't normally sound like this,
but you know, had the stomach bugged the other day,
got a little leryingitis today. God put all these obstacles

(23:54):
and bumps and cruises in our way because we need
to reach our people and inspire them. This is what
we have to go through.

Speaker 2 (24:02):
So be it, Yeah, so be it. Hey, speaking of obstacles,
bumps and whatnot along the road. We find out today
to wake up a Senator Alyssa slockin under federal investigation
after she made that video with several others about refusing
illegal orders. And I'm all here for this. It is

(24:24):
the find out era. We're also waking up to find
out Bill Clinton didn't show up for his congressional subpoena
yesterday and be interviewed behind closed doors. Today we'll find
out whether Hillary shows up or not. Probably going to
be a double nose show for both of them. Calmers
come out. He's made the point that they're going to
recommend next week and start to start holding them in

(24:46):
contempt and they could end up in jail. I never
thought i'd see it. Clinton's in jail, and especially over
something like this, but you know, they threw Bannon jail,
they threw Novara in jail. All these people in jail
because of contempted court under the are the contempt of
Congress under the Biden administration. Why not let justice be

(25:09):
equal and fair.

Speaker 5 (25:11):
Well, that's exactly it. And so when a new president
is set, you have to follow the new president. And
the new president is that nobody apparently is off limits.
And so this era of lawfare needs to continue until
Democrats are the ones who say uncle, until they're the
ones who raised the white flag and say we need

(25:31):
to meet, we need to talk. We get you know,
we promised that nothing like this will ever happen again.
But you search mar Lago, Donald Trump's home, the home
of the former president, looking with paperwork man, you inherit
the wins, and now they're seeing the whirlwins.

Speaker 2 (25:49):
You know, James Dixon with us right now. One of
the things yesterday when I posted this story, President Trump saying,
effective February first, no more payments made by the federal
government to the states for their corrupt criminal protection centers
known as sanctuary cities. All they do is bring crime
and violence, and if states want them, they will have
to pay for them. Make America great again. That's his statement. Now.

(26:13):
I posted that, and I injes somebody on the writer said, yeah,
I'm tired of the talk. I want action, And I
thought to myself, have we gotten so far removed from
reality that we don't understand that that is action. I
don't know that there's any greater action to start pulling
the plug on federal funding from some of these places.
If you want things to move, they always say follow

(26:36):
the money, and in this case, rip it right out
of their you know, corrupt hands, and I think they'll
change their tune quickly.

Speaker 5 (26:44):
Think about what Trump's already done with USA. They's got
a lot of the protesting scene we had in America
was fake and made up and was astro if it
was funded. And so as you take away the less
money apparatus, another thing I'd like to see Trump do
is go after Act Blue some of these foreign donations

(27:06):
and straw donations made in people's names who didn't make
them as a way of funneling foreign money into American politics.
And once you remove the money apparatus, you will see
just how few leftists there actually are in America and
how much of our resource has been used to prop

(27:26):
them up.

Speaker 2 (27:27):
Yeah. Well, and unfortunately, as we see what we're seeing
play out in places like Minnesota, people think these are
like flaws in the system. Now these are functions of
the system. This is what they want. They suck money
right out of your wallet. Right, These politicians, corrupt politicians,
going to dole it out to their friends and family. Right.

(27:47):
This is how this whole thing works. And then those
people send that money right back into those politicians coffers
in the form of campaign donations, etc. This is how
somebody like ilhan Omar gets just to go to Washington, DC.
I mean, this is the game. This is how it's played,
and this is how you know she arrives with the
forty thousand dollars net worth and today if you look

(28:09):
at it, it's in the millions.

Speaker 5 (28:12):
You know, the form and function of the US government
is evil. You go back to the creation of the
Income Tact in the nineteen ten and you go into
the thirties where basically under FDR private charity iss as
he goes away and now everybody becomes a ward to
the state when they need help. It used to be

(28:33):
churches and charities and communities that came together. And so
our entire system of government is dedicated on taking a
lot of money out of your pocket. And if you're
a pay a check worker, your money is taken before
you get it. The FED gets your money before you
get your money, and that money is given to friends

(28:54):
of the ruling class so as to make the ruling
class more powerful. It's corrupt in design, it's corrupt in detail.

Speaker 2 (29:03):
James Dixon, whether it's the James Dixon podcast also down
I seventy five over on acts before I Let you Go.
Yesterday we had big news come out of well the
day before in McComb County. We had the clerk Anthony
for Lenion with us to talk about what he had discovered,
which is pretty incredible that there are non citizens not

(29:24):
only on the voter rolls, but also in the list
to serve as jurors as well. He discovered that in
McComb County that Secretary of State Joscelyn Benson is allowing
it all to happen. Is well par for the course,
I think in this scenario, in this situation, but this
is starting to pick up national news too, and I'm

(29:46):
all for it because this is again the thing they
say that never happens, and we found out again that
it has.

Speaker 5 (29:54):
You know, it's just what you said earlier. It's not
that Benson allows this. This is the designed result of
our voter rules under Joscelyn Benson.

Speaker 2 (30:05):
That's right.

Speaker 5 (30:07):
So in Michigan, when you register for a driver's license,
you were automatically registered to vote. So let's say you're
a non citizen, you have to furnish proof that you
should not be registered to vote. I don't know the
last time you guys been the Secretary of State, but
I'm not trying to be there a second longer than

(30:29):
I need to be. So if they're going to automatically
register me, and I'm just gonna say, all right, I
know I shouldn't vote. Whatever. So how many non citizens
are truly on our voter rules? And what I find
concerning about Anthony for Lnlin's for Information is that the
two hundred and thirty nine people they self reported, they

(30:49):
got goury duty summons and then they called in and said, hey,
I shouldn't be on this list. I'm not a citizen.
How many people get that summons and say, great chance
to decide something in somebody's life. I'm for sure he did.
He Oh, I'm registered to vote in next selection, might
as well vote? And what you learned last year or

(31:11):
in twenty twenty four for coaching Gao? Chinese voter Dan Ardwer.
What you learned then is that if you do not
self report, it would never be caught.

Speaker 2 (31:24):
You know, this is a very good question. I know
obviously for Lydy running as Secretary of stand here, people
are going to be talking about this in his scenario.
I think the other candidates are already starting to talk
about it as well. But we've known this is a case.
I know it was new information that he's discovered these

(31:44):
names on these rules, but it's not new to us
that foreigners are voting. We know that last year by
the admission again self reporting of a Chinese national who said, oh,
by the way, I voted and became tried to take
his funnle, we never would have known. Oh the whole
problem with all of it, We never would have known
any of these things happening. All right, before we let

(32:06):
you go, quickly tell us where can we find you
riding that crazy train across Michigan? And where can folks
keep up with you?

Speaker 5 (32:14):
Make news local again, They'll make politics local again. A
tour is rolling right now. Next week we come to
Benzi County. We have two stops in Oakland County. Go
to James Dixon podcast. And I always say if you
can get ten Republicans in a room anywhere in Michigan,
I will come talk to you. So if you run
one of these groups, get in touch. I'd love to

(32:35):
bring some confidence into you and show you the opportunity
we have in twenty twenty six.

Speaker 2 (32:40):
Here he is any you know, it takes a little
hot toddy or something, a little honey, little tea or
something between them, absolutely and we'll get you back. Usually again.
You know, a voice, a strong voice here across the state,
and he's been exercising it. That's why, that's why he's

(33:01):
having those issues today. We're praying for you man. Thank you,
thank you for taking the.

Speaker 5 (33:04):
Time, James, thank you, justin.

Speaker 2 (33:07):
You got it. God bless. Taking a look at the
market reactions today, stocks falling on a second day, as
Bank of America, Wells Fargo slipping after earnings, We've got
a little red on the screen. Doll down eighty five,
SMP down thirty nine, Nasdaq down a couple hundred as
we see the latest reported by the way. No matter

(33:30):
when you want to retire, you know you do not
want to feel like you are on the crazy train
or you are on that roller coaster ride, feeling all
nauseous as the president tries to get things back on
track and economically, we're seeing a lot of great things
moving in a lot of good directions. But you should
be able to sleep well at night, right. You should

(33:51):
be able to feel confident in your approach. Well, you
can do that when you work with Mike Lester and
the team at Talonwealth. Go to guarding Youornastdegg dot com
or call him to dad six one six six six
to one one thousand. Find out how they can help
you guarding your nest egg dot com. But do it
today before it's too late. That's guarding your nest egg
dot com.

Speaker 1 (34:11):
Setting the record straight. It's West Michigan Live with Justin
Barklay on News Radio one thirteen hundred and one oh
six nine a f a. And on demand anytime on
the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 9 (34:22):
Here are your headlines from The Midwesterner this Wednesday, January fourteenth.
Thim Robin Poffman. It's at Midwesterner dot news. Original story.
It is not a good look for our Secretary of State,
Democrat Jocelyn Benson, now facing more allegations of racism in
her department. A civil lawsuit has been filed against Benson
and several staff members on behalf of four Block employees

(34:46):
who alleged they were subjected to a racially hostile environment.
The suit marks at least the third time Benson has
faced allegations of racism. President Trump is back in Michigan.
He visits the Ford plant, meets with the CEO and
factory workers. The President noting the historic economic turnaround and
auto resurgence here in Detroit, Trump saying, all.

Speaker 8 (35:08):
Of the US totomakers now are doing great, and before
they were having a really hard time. You couldn't. The
environmentalists would not have let them survive.

Speaker 9 (35:17):
For these stories and more, visit the Midwesterner at the
Midwesterner dot News.

Speaker 2 (35:22):
Pretty fair. All right, back on the air here, folks,
Hamli fastest hour in radio, moving right along. Yeah, we've
got the latest in the MAHA updates coming up a
little bit later on during our after show. If you

(35:42):
can't stick around for that, you can always listen on
the iHeartRadio app as where we throw up live and
archive this show each and every day you can. You
can check it out there. We love to have you
around with us. Just search Justin Barclay on the iHeartRadio
out there, and we'll make sure that you get it

(36:03):
all all right. So we've got inflation numbers that came
out yesterday that were really good. Twenty twenty five inflation
the lowest since last time Trump was president. That's big
news stories you're probably not going to hear anywhere else.

(36:23):
CNBC with that story. Here's the inflation breakdown for December
twenty twenty five and one chart they show all of it.
And by the way, we want to put these stories up.
I put them up with the stack every day justin
barklay dot com. So if you don't get a chance,
maybe you're trying to remember what exactly, what exactly was
he talking? What did he tell me? What was that
one thing about? Well, I'll put it up online then

(36:44):
that way you always be able to find it. By
the way, this is President Trump the latest in Fox
News talking about the left is not happy about the
push to make America affordable again.

Speaker 10 (36:55):
Blocking institutional investors from purchasing blocks of single family home
homes across the country to sort of loosen up the
inventory numbers out there. And this goes to what Kevin
O'Leary was just talking about. First, big Tech companies to
pay higher electricity rates to cover the data centers. There's,
you know, basically a public mechanism for paying for power.

(37:15):
And President Trump himself said, you know, look, they have
to pay their fair share of these huge AI and
tech companies when it comes to the drain that they're
putting on the energy grid. A couple others with around housing.
Fanny made Freddie Mack also in the mix. There great
to have you both with us. John, your reaction to
the speech and to these actions. Clearly this is the blocking.

Speaker 2 (37:38):
Institution in this is this is the again based off
of his comments and speech yesterday, but this is a
plan of attack and one that that again I think
folks on the left are not going to be not
going to be happy about they're shutting down the money
train in Minneapolis. There's another piece right of that puzzle.

(38:04):
And yeah, he's looking at some of these other things
that I think are a big part of what is
going to take to to make America well essentially, I
guess what we're looking at here is secure America and
it's and it's really its position in the world and

(38:29):
on the world stage. By the way, I'm I'm completely
out of time I don't have time to get to
all this. I'll put it in the stack, like I
said justin barclay dot Com. We'll try and get to
it on the after show as well on the way,
but in the meantime we appreciate it. Glenn Back program
is coming up next, so make sure that you stick
around for Glenn, and of course wish you make it
a great day and wish you the best. I'm justin

(38:51):
God bless
