Speaker 3 (00:27):
And low over today.

Speaker 2 (00:30):
We'll think it got the short sleeves on. Haven't broken
down to the shorts just yet, and I feel like
that day is coming. We got some days ahead in
the forecast and are certainly heating up.

Speaker 3 (00:43):
Speaking of heating up, we got the latest stories you.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
Won't hear anywhere else. We've got some straight talk. Is
it open? Is it closed? What about that ceasefire on
or off? And how does that affect you at the
pomp and more.

Speaker 3 (00:59):
We'll get into a.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
Come on least weather and traffic, his stories of the day.
We are talking about what matters most in West Michigan
and beyond. This is the Big Three. Now say speak.

Speaker 2 (01:13):
Three yes, Like we said, the stories that you won't
hear anywhere else, you'll be talking about around the water,
cool the dinner table. No matter where you are, Heartland
home mortgage Day've got away on the team ready to
help you, like they've helped us. Well, they've they've helped
us buy refinance a homework. Whatity line of comment, We've
saved thousands every time we work with Dave and the crew.

(01:34):
They're faster, they're better than the big banks. Reach out
today and see how they can help you.

Speaker 4 (01:38):
Number one him lending dot com, The President saying, all
US ships and aircraft, military personnel, additional ammunition, weaponry, anything
else it's appropriate and necessary for the lethal prosecution and
destruction of an already substantially degraded entity will remain in place,

(02:00):
in and around around until such time as the real
agreement reached is fully complied with.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
By the way, more on this statement that brings that question.

Speaker 3 (02:12):
What do you mean real agree? Some fake agreements out there?

Speaker 2 (02:14):
Yes, in fact, there are fake agreements out there that
would explain a lot of what we're hearing and a
lot of why the news continues to report Iran, the
parliamentary speakers saying that the US has violated the cease fragrant. Well,
they were they working with him or the negotiating with
someone else at that, well, that says a lot in itself.

(02:36):
We'll get into that as far as the straits, open
clothes and what does it all mean. As strikes continue,
particularly between Iran and Israel and Lebanon as well.

Speaker 3 (02:48):
So Lee, the story continuing to develop.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
A deranged homeless man who fatally stabbed that twenty three
year old Ukrainian refugee. If you remember the story of Arena,
never forget Arena Zarutzka stabbed on that train, and it
seems like we have for whatever reason, it seems like

(03:13):
folks have completely forgotten this story, and it is such
a horrific story. He will not, apparently, it sounds like
great now will not have to really answer for it
because they they have ruled that he is incompetent.

Speaker 3 (03:30):
To stand trial.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
Charlotte, it happened on that light rail train last August
to Carlos Brown Junior, evaluated State Psychiatric Hospital, found incapable
to proceed.

Speaker 3 (03:46):
Why didn't they do that previously?

Speaker 2 (03:50):
Why didn't they take a look at his statement and
who he was and how many times he'd been arrested
and let off the hook by judges and everybody else?
And really the governor now running for Senate there in
that state. He faces separate federal charges. By the way,
I don't necessarily know that he's gonna get off justice
for Arena as the chant that folks are saying today,

(04:12):
I don't know the feds are gonna allow it. The
death penalty rides with Vale. I were going you yes,
and Bud wait, there's more. In fact, the news never stopped.
The latest story out of the Bahamas includes a Michigan
man who's been arrested, telling authorities his wife fell overboard
while on the d in rough waters of the Bahamas.

(04:34):
You've probably been hearing this story of the last day
or so, particularly in the news here covering it. There's
greater scrutiny, they say, as they're looking as account what
exactly happened is The search for her enters a fifth day.
Brian Hooker taken into custody as a suspect of Royal
Bahamas Police Force Assistant commissioner telling Reuters no charges have

(04:57):
been announced, his attorney confirming the CNN that he is
arrested on Wednesday in connection with the disappearance of his wife,
the fifty five year old Lynette Hooker, according to his attorney,
Brian Hooker, categorically and unequivocally denies any wrongdoing and has
been cooperating with authorities.

Speaker 3 (05:18):
In that story.

Speaker 2 (05:19):
All right, so the latest done that and much more.
By the way, the sunshine, as it's speaking through the
windows right now, absolutely glorious today, and we're up to
sixty two is what they're telling me on the forecast.
Hotly smokes we could get well into the seventies this weekend.

Speaker 3 (05:44):
Well, I'll take it.

Speaker 2 (05:45):
I don't know about you, but yeah, there's some rain
in that forecast too, and the whole thing about April showers, etc.

Speaker 3 (05:55):
So the the forecast may vary.

Speaker 2 (06:01):
With the results and you may want to avoid in Alaska,
Hawaii and Puerto Rico. Well, ye, it's fifty to fifty chance.
They got a fifty to fifty chance of getting it
right every now and then. So there we have it.

Speaker 1 (06:13):
Call Justin now at six one, six seven seven four,
twenty four to twenty four at six one, six seven
seven four twenty four to twenty four, West Michigan Live
with Justin Barclay on News Radio Wood thirteen hundred and
one oh six nine f M.

Speaker 2 (06:27):
And we continue as we march to the general and
the primary in August and then finally in November. Is
this big election year is upon us? Twenty twenty six,
we'll talk with one of the folks who is going
to be running Michigan State in the Supreme Court coming
out another big one. Look, I'm telling you, yes, it

(06:49):
matters what happens in lansingon DC, but also what happens
in your on backyard as well matters in this this race,
this election year matters more than ever as we pay
attention to some of the some of the major things
that are happening right here in our own backyard. I've
known its data centers continue to really be a I

(07:10):
was in Lowell yesterday and and last week for some things.
Had lunch there yesterday at a great place well bakery
and cafe there on Main Street. And those signs, those
no data center signs are everywhere.

Speaker 3 (07:24):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (07:25):
If if there's like a bigger small town sort of
story right now, fight that's happening, and that's happening across
the country or and yeah, and across the state as well,
But it's a it's a it's a big one. So
that'll be something that will continue to ask. Obviously, as
those folks step into the spotlight and we have these

(07:47):
different folks that are running for office candidates on we'll
have some of that conversation as we continue. I know
it's important if you've got one of these proposed for
your backyard, or even if you you've done research and
study on it, saying you know, I just don't know
how I feel about some of this stuff. I understand

(08:08):
you will. You'll have a chance to have your voice
heard as well. If you want to do that on
the iHeartRadio AP today, go ahead and click that microphone
button next to the play button and you can sound off.

Speaker 3 (08:19):
All right.

Speaker 2 (08:19):
Back to the president's statement again, just just to clear
things up with a ran the straight of horror moves
and whether the ceasefire is on or off.

Speaker 3 (08:28):
You got a couple of things here.

Speaker 2 (08:30):
CNN got caught ran handed the other day and they
were putting out fake statements, statements that weren't real, fake
ten point plans. And the other thing is is they're
also putting out statements from people we don't know who
Trump is negotiating with. And this is one of the
most interesting pieces that we're watching. Play a partners. There's

(08:50):
been some thought on this, and I'll walk through what
some of the ideas are. But Trump has said, look,
we're gonna keep everything place, all of our equipment, until
we reach a final agreement and it's fully complied with.
If for any reason he says it is not, which
is highly unlikely, then the shooting starts. He says, quote

(09:12):
unquote bigger and better and stronger than anyone has ever
seen before. All right, so we're back to the strong
language again. Can you imagine, of course we are. It
was agreed a long time ago, and despite all the

(09:34):
fake rhetoric to the contrary, no nuclear weapons of the
straight of Horn moves will be open and safe. In
the meantime, our great military is loading up and resting,
looking forward actually to it at its next conquest. He says, America,
all capture America is.

Speaker 3 (09:53):
Back.

Speaker 2 (09:55):
So this is this will help me give you a
little bit of context of what's going on. So yesterday
we celebrated, obviously heard the ceasefire of the day before.
Yesterday was the day when the muddy, the cloudy waters
again got a little even a little more murky, because
you sort of had more people coming out and making

(10:18):
statements and CNN again busted running this fake ten point
planet supposedly Iran and put forward.

Speaker 3 (10:25):
We don't know exactly what's in that.

Speaker 2 (10:28):
We don't know what the United States other than what
we've seen put out has discussed with these people and
some of this.

Speaker 3 (10:35):
Again, there are people you have to realize.

Speaker 2 (10:38):
That are trying they're trying to stop this negotiation from
taking place in good faith because they don't want peace
to happen. Now, imagine that these are the people, if
you have to understand who we're dealing with. They're the
people that just just you know, the other day we're
saying Trump is a madman, he's got to be removed
from office, twenty fifth Amendment, crazy, crazy as.

Speaker 3 (11:00):
A fox, this guy, get him out of office.

Speaker 2 (11:04):
Then hours later, after the ceasefire was announced, they're the
same one saying, well, he's a chicken he chicken down.
I can't believe it. Well, which one is it? You
can't have it both ways, and they will never admit
they were wrong. Now, again, there's a lot that has
to happen between now and how this all plays out.

(11:25):
And in the meantime, there's a lot of question and
there's a lot of Again, these are theories thoughts on
what's really going on, and I've heard everything from Trump
actually wants the straight o hor moves to be disrupted.
He wants because it makes our oil more valuable. I
don't that could be, but I don't think because in

(11:47):
the short term it makes your gas go up. And
I think essentially he's got a midterm to run and
win here and with the with the rest of these
folks who are out there, I don't think he wants
to lose meantime. I think you're going to see those
prices go but down eventually. Right now, where are they?
Good question?

Speaker 3 (12:05):
Oil prices and the markets today.

Speaker 2 (12:08):
We had this massive jump yesterday, and the big news
in the story yesterday was what the markets did yesterday.
Futures are slipping. We're down about two hundred points in
the down futures. We'll see what they do eventually. But
the oil prices are up a tick, not not fully,
but it's it's if you look at this, it's almost
like the market's trying to figure out exactly what is

(12:34):
going to happen, and what's gonna happen if anybody tells
you and with any sort of certainty that this is it. Yeah,
just realize they don't know, and they may not even
know that they don't know. But people have thoughts on
this af ideas, they have theories, they have their own
and they may be really passionate and excited about it.
But we don't know what's going to happen until it does.

(12:55):
All I can do is to tell you here's what's happened,
here's what we know as now. And again, is anybody
else telling you like it's going to be a nuclear
arm again like they were the other day or uh
you know, uh kumbayah, you know, well it's all sunshine

(13:17):
and rainbows and puppy kisses and pine a sky all that.

Speaker 3 (13:21):
I think that's equally just just not not accurate.

Speaker 2 (13:25):
We just don't know, and it's going to take a
lot to make this work. It's gonna take a lot
to make this happen. So that being said, those those
are those are the pieces of this anyway that I
think that. But the truth of the matter on these stories. Now, again,
as I mentioned, all of this could change. It could

(13:47):
change in a heartbeat. It could change with one mean tweet,
It could change with one strike. At the end of
the day, I think, and I've seen reports and I've
looked there's actually as a website you can go to
track the movement of ships in the straight afore moos. Okay,
so there is there is a website that shows it

(14:11):
and in real time. Okay, So I actually did this yesterday,
and I will tell you it is fascinating to watch
a couple of different websites. I just gave you a
few marine vessel traffic dot comship traffic dot net. Anyway,
if you go it, just google this, you'll find it.

(14:34):
If you go, you can actually see where the ships
are in real time. Now, I'll just say this, it
looks like we've got some out there in the straight
right now.

Speaker 3 (14:51):
I don't know who these are.

Speaker 2 (14:53):
If you click on them, you can find out, you know,
you get a little bit more information.

Speaker 3 (14:56):
People are doing a little more digging on this.

Speaker 2 (15:00):
It looks like most of them are kind of clustered
in areas and they're not they're not quite moving through.
But again, this this is something you could do. Did
not look yesterday as I was doing this. But don't
just take my word for it. By the way, don't
just take C and M's word for you. Going to
say is a straight open or not? Go look for yourself,

(15:21):
Go see this God, you could tell for yourself what
what's what's really going on here?

Speaker 3 (15:28):
All right?

Speaker 2 (15:29):
As for the the idea that this whole thing is off,
the ceasefire is off because Israel is firing on Hesbal
and Lebanon.

Speaker 3 (15:37):
According to Trump, that was never part of the deal.

Speaker 2 (15:42):
Yeah, I think Israel gonna have to make a different
deal if if the if they want to close the
Straight because of Israel and what they're doing in Lebanon,
I think they're going to face some repercussions they might
not be ready for. Trump's not negotiating on that, and
I think that'll be I I at least from one
what he said we will. I think we'll see some

(16:06):
strong response to that. Vice President J. D. Vance restating
if Iran does not follow through on promises to reopen
the Straight, the cease fire will end.

Speaker 3 (16:18):
All right.

Speaker 2 (16:19):
I think we've given that all we got now if
there is anything else, there is anything left out. Matter
of fact, if you can think of folks in a chat,
and if you're watching behind the scenes last year, when
we do this Facebook, Twitter x rum, we'll get our
locals YouTube all over the place, and then you can
even shoot me that talkback over on the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 3 (16:39):
Or six one six.

Speaker 2 (16:41):
Anything I've left out or any question you might have
about that, throw it my way. We will We'll try
and make sure we get them all answered for you.

Speaker 2 (21:26):
Oh lots to cover yet still, folks, as we move
full speed ahead into the fastest hour in radio. Yeah,
the stories that you won't hear anywhere else, and particularly
we focused on the twenty twenty sixth election. You know,
I said this, and I'll say it over and over again,
twenty twenty four.

Speaker 3 (21:47):
As as important as it was for the nation, I
believe it, it.

Speaker 2 (21:51):
Had an impact that we won't understand until we get
years down the road and look at the history books
and go back and see see what we've what we've avoided.

Speaker 3 (22:02):
Right, it'll be more clear.

Speaker 2 (22:04):
But I think twenty twenty six has that same impact
here in Michigan and maybe even greater. You talk about
taking the state back, and of course at a time
that's I don't think it's ever been more critical. And
there's so many different ways to look at that. But
you've got big races. We've got the race for governor here,

(22:25):
it's not just a midterm, as James Dixon likes to say,
this is the final exam.

Speaker 3 (22:31):
For us here in Michigan.

Speaker 2 (22:32):
We've got the big three governor, We've got the Attorney General,
we get the Secretary of State, all of those offices
that need to be filled. Then we've got the chance
to put a conservative back there in a Republican in
the Senate to help President Trump get his agenda through.
And then you've got the other races that again have massive,

(22:55):
i think impact on the state as well as well
as your your local races. But some of those big
state races are the Supreme Court. Again on the beout,
Judge Michael Warren joins us right now, is running for
the Michigan Supreme Court. As we have the conversation, Judge,
good morning, Thank you for taking a ton to be
here with us today.

Speaker 7 (23:13):
Good morning, I'm really pleased to be on the show
with you.

Speaker 3 (23:16):
Fantastic.

Speaker 2 (23:17):
Let me ask you and I just break this down,
but maybe you can tell us in your words, as
we just seen recently Wisconsin had some big election Supreme Court.
We've seen that in recent years in Michigan. Why those
races matter. But tell us in your words, why does
the Michigan Supreme Court race. Why is this so critical

(23:37):
and particularly in twenty twenty.

Speaker 7 (23:38):
Six, Yeah, it is an absolutely critical race. And to
emphasize it for your listeners, we have a Supreme Court
there right now has six people that are justices who
have been nominated by the Democrat Party and one for
person that Justice Brian's are who is nominated by the

(24:01):
Republican Party and the Supreme Court. What I'm trying to
do is bring balance back to the Supreme Court. The
Supreme Court is the final authority what Michigan law means,
both the Michigan Constitution and any statutory provisions that are
enacted by the legislature, as well as any common law

(24:21):
like nutligens and fraud and those kinds of things. And
being the final authority, you can't actually go to the
US Supreme Court. The Michigan Supreme Court determines what the
Michigan Constitution means. And for many years we had an
extraordinarily exceptional Supreme Court which was stocked with many originalists

(24:46):
and constitutional conservatives for the lack of better term rule
of law justices, and now has swung completely the other way.
So now it's a six to one court. So we
really need to bring back balance to the Supreme Court.

Speaker 2 (24:58):
What are some of the issues and maybe maybe you
can't speak on like what what what will be or
maybe you can. I don't know what what will be
coming up in the years ahead or could be. But
some of the big ones in the past. I mean,
as you just mentioned, there are some major decisions being
made here and and they get when they get kicked
up to the state Supreme Court. I mean, you're you're

(25:21):
you're talking about make or break for the state of Michigan.

Speaker 7 (25:25):
Well, you know, it's the question is what's not going
to be before the Supreme Court. So one example that
will be is the interpretation of criminal law and criminal procedure.
You know, how victims are treated, how laws are interpreted,
how the constitutional provisions about crown unusual punishment, for example,

(25:45):
how no thought law is interpreted, UH slip and faw accidents,
elections law, all the ballot initiatives, all that stuff goes
to the Michigan Supreme Court for our final review. And
so it is tremendously important to you know, if we

(26:06):
want to a court that views the law as the
lawmaker intended it. Either the people when they adopted the
constitution or the legislature where they adopted the law, and
to apply it as opposed to legislate from the bench,
then we need conservative justices, rule of law justices on
the Supreme Court. And as the perspective I will bring,

(26:28):
I have been a Supreme scudit me. I've been a
circuit court judge in Oakland County for over twenty three years.
I've tried over four hundred jury trials. I have more
combined experience on the trial court than the entire Supreme
Court put together. And that's not a knock against them,
but there's the lack of actual trial experience is very

(26:51):
concerning to many lawyers because you know, we're in the trenches,
so to speak, and to have the insight of a
trial judge about how changes in the rules of evidence, procedure,
administrative rules, all these things actually have a huge impact
on how trial goes forward and how cases are dispensed.

(27:13):
And again, to have somebody that has that experience is
extradinarly important, and somebody with the perspective of a judicial
restraint and interpreting the law as the lawgiver intended is
extraordinarily important.

Speaker 2 (27:28):
Judge Michael Warren with this right now for a Michigan
Supreme Court is a Republican nominee and we're talking about
you just mentioned it too, and I thought this is
maybe something we'd spend a little bit more time on.
But this idea, and we see a lot of this,
particularly on the left, and this is this idea that
there's a lot of legislating from the bench or judicial

(27:51):
activism happening, and it is one of the things that
I think is ruining not just the country of the state.

Speaker 3 (27:59):
We see this being quite a prod.

Speaker 2 (28:02):
Can you speak to that, the problem that we're saying
right now, and obviously the need to make sure that
we elect someone who won't do.

Speaker 7 (28:10):
That absolutely, So you know, to me, this goes back
to first principles. And I've literally just having a new
book released that's called The Revolutionary Words That Forged America,
The Defenditive Guides to the Declaration of Indeutendants. I've written
another book called America's Survival Guide, How to stop America's
attending suicide by reclaiming our founding first principles in history.

(28:31):
And I raised those because if you're steeped in American history,
you understand the declaration of independence in the Constitution, then
you understand the proper role of the courts, and the
role of the court is to interpret the law as
was intended by you know, the founding fathers or succeeding generations.

(28:52):
Is the Constitution was inmended or in our Constitution was
ratified in nineteen sixty three in Michigan, you know what
the voter thought when they voted to adopt the Constitution,
and to avoid the personal predilections and desires that the
particular justice or judge may have when they're viewing a case.
And too often we have judges that think that they

(29:15):
know what's better than what the founder founder fathers thought,
or what the people in Michigan when they adopted a
ballot initiative or adopted the Constitution. But if you go
back to, you know, the principles of the declaration of
the tendance, like I said in the book The Revolutionary
Word Supported America or an America's Survival Guide, you'll understand

(29:36):
that that really violates the whole principle of what a
judge is supposed to do, and a judge is not
supposed to be a little mini legislature or a super legislator.
A judge is supposed to follow the law whether they
like it or not. And I can tell you there
are many days when I follow the law that I
think I would never have adopted this if I was

(29:58):
a legislator. I think that might be an unwise policy decision.
But I have to follow the law. And unfortunately, there
are too many justices and judges in America today that
see their role as very different, that they're going to
fix things. They're going to override the legislature or override

(30:18):
the constitution and impose what they think is a fair
and justice result, which is exactly the opposite of what
a justice to do. Self restraint is the most important
thing for a judge or a justice.

Speaker 2 (30:29):
We've got so many different areas that I think we
could hit with you, but not enough time to quite
do it all. But this, I think is a good
intro to tell people why this race matters so much.
Maybe we can sit down with one another for a
little more time in the future to go through some of.

Speaker 7 (30:46):
These things, and I'd love to do it. I think
that would be a tremendous opportunity.

Speaker 2 (30:50):
I really appreciate that opportunity, absolutely Judge Michael Warren and
the race for the Michigan Supreme Court is has been nominated.
Of course, Republican Convention. The convention, we just maybe get
your your commentary on that. And it does seem like
it was a it was a very productive year this year.

Speaker 7 (31:11):
I think it was. I had a great time, and
I'll tell you why. I had a table and I
had a constant flow of people coming to me, and
there are two things going on versus so many people
were just excited about my campaign I have. I'm so blessed.
I have so many grassroots supporters that have asked me
to run for Supreme Court for a number of years,

(31:32):
and I finally took the plunge. It was great. That
was very gratifying. And I also had the revolutionary words
the Forged America, you know, the new book, and I
had a lot of people buy it and just was
had fallen in love with it and the old book
America's Survival Guide. A bunch of volunteers to sign up.
And so I completely missed what was going on at
the convention for other than I got to swear in

(31:55):
the officers and that was fun, and I cited Thomas
these are the times to try men souls or the
summer soldier, the sunshine patriot will in the time of
crisis strengthened the service of his country. And I went
through that and did a little mini story about George
Washington crossing the Delaware and kind of giving a parallel
about we have to, you know, step up as well

(32:17):
and be inspired to fight for our freedoms and liberties, inequality,
unailable rights. So so that was extremely that was well received.
I had a lot of people come up to me after,
but it seemed like there was you know, there were
a couple of convention fights, as you would expect, but
otherwise I thought it went very smoothly.

Speaker 3 (32:33):
Yeah, Judge Michael Warren.

Speaker 2 (32:35):
By the way, comments in the work, looking at your
website right now, comments in the chat say they they love.

Speaker 3 (32:43):
The bow tie.

Speaker 2 (32:44):
Just just say, you know, oh, thank you.

Speaker 7 (32:48):
Judge Michael Warren dot com. There you have got to
see the bow tie. It's a great bow tie. You're exactly, Michael.
Do you want to go visit that?

Speaker 2 (32:56):
Where can they grab the book too if they want to,
or check out either.

Speaker 3 (32:59):
One of the books?

Speaker 7 (33:01):
Yeah, Amazon dot com if they type in Judge Michael Warren.
The Revolutionary Words that Forged America will show up, or
you can type in America's Survival Guide. They're both available there.
Republic Books as the publisher for the Revolutionary Words That
Forged America, so they can also go to that website directly.

(33:21):
Either would be great. It's actually being officially released on Tuesday,
so it's fresh off the presses and it's a real
deep dive, goes through line by line the Declaration of
Independence and concepts that are extraordinarily important that have really
been forgotten and some people sustain, like unalienable rights, limited government,

(33:47):
the Social Compact. We have twenty eight grievances about why
we declared independence from the greatest empire of the world
they've ever seen, and most people are unaware of those
and they really have a huge impact on how we
developed our constitution. And so the book also shows the
relationship between the Declaration and the Constitution, and really nobody

(34:09):
has done this for like one hundred and twenty five
years to go through each each line. So if you
love America, it's the Charter and you can go go
read that book.

Speaker 3 (34:19):
You got it.

Speaker 2 (34:19):
Judge Michael Warren, thank you for taking the time. Appreciate it.

Speaker 7 (34:22):
Thank you, God bless you, and God bless America.

Speaker 3 (34:24):
Amen.

Speaker 2 (34:25):
Amen, all right, folks, running to pick the books up

Charlie and says, yeah, there you go, check it out.
And by the way, we'll try and dig in, dive
in a little bit deeper in the in the days ahead,
as those conversations continue to heat up. Speaking of conversations,

(34:47):

Speaker 6 (36:11):
Here are your headlines from The Midwesterner this Thursday, April ninth,

Michigan Senator Democrat Olisislokin says she's open to a twenty
twenty eight run for president. She says, I guess I
wouldn't say no forever and goes on to say I'm
interested in being a part of the next generation who's
going to rehab the Democrat brand. A Michigan Republican about

to spend big bucks here in our state. Gubernatorial candidate
Perry Johnson is already looking ahead to the general election
with an announcement exclusively shared with The Midwesterner. Johnson, who's
rapidly caught up to front runner John James, is going
to spend four point seven million in media in the
three weeks following the August primary. A Michigan Senate candidate,

Speaker 3 (37:12):
Are you tired of exposing?

Speaker 8 (37:18):
I'm madwi. Brad Cooper, commander of US Central Command. Less
than six weeks ago, more than fifty thousand of America's
sons and daughters in uniform, launched Operation Epic Fury and
embarked on a mission of profound consequence. We set out
to dismantle the Iranian regime's ability to project power beyond
its own borders, and we clearly accomplished this task. Iran

(37:41):
has suffered a generational military defeat. The United States and
Israel systematically destroyed Iran's ability to conduct large scale military
operations for years to come. Iran's conventional military capability, built
over forty years at the cost of billions of dollars,
has been eliminated. As the President expressed earlier this week,

(38:02):
our core strategic military objectives have been achieved after destroying
Iran's missile, drone and naval capabilities and their defensive industrial base.

Speaker 2 (38:12):
This is just the latest statement in fact one that
I would just share it over on X two, But
this is from Syncom Commander Admiral Brad Cooper laying it
out straight. By the way, this is to tell this
a statement for us, It's for the troops so that
they can know what happened in less than forty days.

(38:33):
He says, you destroyed the military that Iran built over
forty years. Your courage, grit, and ingenuity have served America
extremely well. Finally, I want to close by remembering and
honoring our thirteen fallen warriors who made the ultimate sacrifice
during Operation Epic Fury. He says, are men and women

(38:53):
in uniform represent the best of America. I just could
not be prouder and more humble to serve with them.
And I know the American people share the same pride.
So to our warriors, stay sharp, remain resolved, and continue
to take care of one another. Again, that's sentcom Commander
Admiral Brad Cooper, and the latest on that message to America.

(39:19):
All right, let's check again if we can the latest
on a stock market. We're only down fifty four points now.
So they started today down two hundred. Now they're down
just fifty four point s and P five hundred slips.
Oil rises, traders, keep an eye I think that's what
this is. I think this is just to keep an

(39:42):
eye on it scenario. Oil prices around one hundred dollars
a barrel right now, and again it's a wait and
see scenario, and it's keep your powder dry all day long.
What about the straits? What are we looking at the
ship traffic? There anything else new that we've It looks
like we got some traffic through the streets right now,

(40:04):
or the Strait of Four Moves. The red ships looks
like and there's some green in there too, so I
will have to dig in and see.

Speaker 3 (40:10):
What this looks like.

Speaker 2 (40:11):
But that might be why the market's responding as well. Again,
as I mentioned this earlier to open the show, do
your due diligence, dig in, look at the sources. If
