Well to chew it, only moly, what a wild week.
Already President Trump headed down to Alligator Alcatraz. They got
this big beautiful detention center set up an alligator ally
down there in Florida, and they dead it in record time.
That story is incredible. He's got it down there today,
all while the voter rama continues, lots of voting, lots
(00:47):
of amendments, lots of back and forth in the set.
Had been working overnight. We're gonna get into that coming
up here. And of course the latest on a spat
between a couple of old buddies coming after.
Speaker 1 (00:59):
You, Weather and traffic, his stories of the day. We
were talking about what matters most in West Michigan and beyond.
Speaker 2 (01:08):
This is the Big Three now seeing speak three, Yeah,
Elon and Trumper at it again. It is the big
beautiful bill battle and the things are just eating. I
will talk about that plus much much more. Actually, got
some really good news I want to get you as
well today coming up of the Independence Day week. Thanks

Reach out to Dave Gataway and the team today. But
the debate continues at a Senate on that big beautiful bill.
President Trump pushing it through a Voterama marathon ahead of
(02:16):
the self impost July fourth deadline coming up later this week.
He warned earlier yesterday, I guess said that today actually
the failure to pass it would trigger a whopping sixty
eight percent tax increase. All this back and forth is
null and void when you consider that we can't afford it.
Sixty eight percent tax increase. You talk about a ridiculous
(02:40):
amount of spending. I'm talking that about the ridiculous damage
it would do to the economy and the American people.
You don't want it. You just don't want to do it.
We'll get into all the bits and pieces and back
and forth es coming out, but first some good news.
We're on a roll. We need to stay that way. Course,
(03:00):
the first time in four years, Americans aren't They are
not paying more for their Fourth of July cookouts for
the first time in four years. And we heard that.
By the way, I'm not saying that. You know there
still isn't some inflation out there, But we heard all
this nonsense for the Biden administration. Now look, look, your
(03:21):
hot dog went down a nickel. No, No, that was
ALLBS phony baloney was made up. And now we know
the Farm Bureau American Farm Bureau Federation putting up the
statistics the average cost to feed ten guests seventy dollars
ninety two cents, about thirty cents lower than last year's
record seventy one twenty two, you're actually saving them. That's
(03:44):
still well above you may be thinking of the stuff
about the prices are still up there. Yeah, it's still
well above the fifty two dollars and eighty cent pre
pandemic price back in twenty nineteen. But it does show
that inflation is easing, and we ought to be happy
about that. Things like chicken, pork, cheese, and bugs on
(04:04):
that list. The Idaho sniper suspect, we now have new
information a twenty year old had some messed up ideology.
It sounds like, I want to warn you there's a
lot of fog of war out there right now on
this guy. I've seen some things that can't be confirmed.
So before you go sharing and pushing all that out there,
(04:26):
just know I was still trying to work to confirm
some of these things. If police say they haven't seen
him like a manifesto. But it does seem like the
guy had some mental problems, had some issues, and obviously
that would be the case in this situation. Probably more importantly,
we now know the names of the two that were killed.
(04:48):
Battalion Chief Frank Harwood and Battalion Chief John Morrison have
both been identified as folks in that fire department who
gave their life in the service of others, and probably
we ought to do better to focus on them tragically
killed in that Idaho ambush. They ran toward the danger
(05:10):
to protect others. They paid the ultimate price on behalf
of a grateful nation. We say thank you and we
continue to pray for their families. All right, more coming up, folks.
We got all the great stories we want to get
to you today, and of course give you a chance
to join the program at any time. You just jump
(05:33):
on the line and let it rip. Or the iHeartRadio app.
We've got that talkback feature. That button I think looks
like a microphone sit right next to the play button.
Fire away on that thing. Thanks to the folks at
MKD Funeral.

West Michigan Live with Justin Barclay on news Wood thirteen
hundred and one six nine a f M.
Speaker 2 (06:03):
All right, I gotta get some of this back and
forth on this bill. This is very important, and I
think I to try to find the way to say
this and to say it in a way that look
I like Elon Musk and I like President Trump, voted
(06:24):
for him three times now. But there is a bit
of a spat now going on back and forth. I
don't know if you've heard this morning with the latest
Elon's calling for a third party. Now, this is kind
of a lot of this. Is there amping and ramping
this up in the media. You know he he is,
but he isn't. He's called for it before, is kind
of joking around on accident. Now they've taken that and
(06:46):
run with it. And then President Trump has issued his
little statement untruth, which is kind of a back and
forth and a little sort of like jab back to Elon. Now,
there really should be no fighting over any of this.
I don't think Elon understands or there are things that
are much deeper that are at play here. He's not
(07:06):
being honest about and I love the guy. But maybe
it's the electric vehicle credit stuff. I don't know. Maybe
it's a subsidies for that. Maybe there's more to it,
but essentially, here's what has happened this morning, uh, Elon,
or overnight as well. Elon, it's one of the sites
(07:29):
right media, right media, he writes, Trump threatens to launch
doze investigation in the Elon, come on, give me a
break these headlines, uh and send billionaire back home to
South Africa can be a break. This is just ridiculous,
all of this and none of this is none of
(07:51):
this is real. You dig into actually see what was said,
what happened back and forth, and you'll you'll you'll see
the tweets are the post over on X and you'll
see what Trump wrote. You'll get you have to do.
Let's go way past the headlines. But one of the
things Musk said as he attacked the bill, not Trump,
(08:13):
but the bill. One of the things that he had
said is that he believes that a little of this
is is way too much, putting a country in debt
even further. Here is here is what President Trump said
over on truth. Okay, this is his statement, word for word.
(08:33):
Elon knw long before he so strongly endorsed me for president,
that I was strongly against the ev mandate. It is
ridiculous and always a major part of my campaign. Electric
cars are fine, but not everyone should be forced to
own one. Elon may get more subsidy than any human
being in history by far, and without subsidies, Elon would
(08:54):
probably have to close up shop and head back home
to South Africa. No more rocket launches or electric car production,
and our country would save a fortune. Perhaps we should
have a doze, take a look, go to a hard
look at this. Big money to be saved, he says
in all caps. Now, I want to translate that to you.
(09:15):
He's saying, Look, Elon doesn't have a problem when we're
spending money and giving it to him, But he has
a problem when we're spending money and giving it to
other people. This is an issue, and of course that's
essentially what he's saying. The other side of this is
the keep your powder dry argument, which is we've got
to get this thing through. Why does President Trump make
that point? He says, if this doesn't pass, and this
(09:37):
is the tax cut issue. These are the Trump's tax
cuts that need to be made permanent. Forget everything else
that's in it. If it only did this, it would
be worth it. If we don't, it would trigger, as
he says, quote a whopping sixty eight percent tax increase,
the largest in history. Calling on Republican unity amid failing
(10:01):
or excuse me, falling support from some of the defectors,
This sweeping package includes permanent Trump era tax cuts, border security,
defense spending, and significant medicaid and social program reduction. But
it's not perfect. It's not perfect, folks. So because it's
not perfect, you got folks back and forth on this.
(10:26):
I'm to tell you the Democrats are not going to
defeat the momentum in America right now. The Democrats are
not going to feat the defeat the themega movement. They're
not gonna defeat the Republicans right now. But I tell
you who will. They do it every single time, some
of us that love to snatch defeat from the jaws
(10:47):
of victory. That's what we always love to do. You
make your point, you have your conversations, you push for
stronger cuts, you do all of those things. But at
the end of the day, make no mistake. When you
do not side on the side of truth, justice, the
American way, and when you do not side this way,
(11:07):
you know what you're doing. Essentially, what you're doing is
that you are sighting. You are sighting with and I
don't even mean Democrats, but I mean people that hate
this country. Oh and by the way, I can prove it.
That's a whole other issue. Today. We got to pull
(11:29):
that's out. I got to give you the latest from Gallop.
Democrats hate America. You don't really need a poll to
prove this, but I've got it. And it's sad because
it is Independence Day. We but this has all been
and it's not just Democrats, but it's all been the
people that have hated this country. This Marxist ieteology that
(11:49):
people have been indoctrinated inside the institution's the education, all
of it. They've all been pushing this for decades now,
and you're finally seeing the chickens come to home the roost.
Let me get to that coming up here in a second.
Trump moments ago outside the White House on his way
to Alligator alcatraz.
Speaker 3 (12:09):
I don't know, I mean rob the back a. Look,
we might have to put doze on Elon. You know,
doj is a monster that has that might.
Speaker 1 (12:19):
Have to go back and eat.
Speaker 3 (12:20):
Elon will not be there.
Speaker 2 (12:21):
About That's funny. The reporter asks about deporting, essentially saying
would you would you think you might have to deport?
Are you really thinking about doing this? He goes, I
don't know. Now, this this is a joke. It is
it is the leverage though, Hey, Elon shut up about
this bill. Let's get this done, then we can get
(12:43):
your cuts and doge and everything else through. This is
a strategy. I don't care who you are, Elon or
anyone else. At some point, whether you're Elon and you
endorsed in campaign heavily for and with President Trump, or
you just voted for the guys three times like me,
you have to at some point say, look, there's a
reason why we elected him. There's a reason why we
(13:05):
voted for him. And I don't know. Maybe I'm gonna
let him see this through. Maybe I'm gonna let him
play this out. Maybe there's something behind the scenes here.
Now you could disagree with strategy all you want, but
when you get down to the chorus, some of this
it's really it's just not helpful.
Speaker 3 (13:23):
It's a lot of subsidies FETA. But Eli's very upset
at the Eavy mandate. You're gonna be terminated. And you
know what, when you look at ITV who wants not
everybody wants an electric car.
Speaker 2 (13:36):
Maybe this is what Elon is all upset about. I
don't know. Maybe it's a fact who he's sort of
pushed out and he no longer is as influential in
the administration as he won. Maybe he feels like Trump
oes it to him. I don't know. I don't I
can't pretend to understand the nuances inside of the relationships there.
But if that's the case, if it is the subsidies
(13:59):
at set, and by the way, we are spending all
kinds of money, Elon wants more. He's upset that we're
gonna take the country the bad guy. He wants to
go to Mars. This whole none of this, none of
this thing makes any sense, None of the argument makes
any sense at all. He really just wants somebody to
fund all of that stuff. So I just call on
(14:20):
him both. You don't look at it. Cool it down
a little bit. President Trump's gonna say what he's gonna say,
is gonna hit back, And of course I kind of
chuckle at that.
Speaker 3 (14:26):
I don't want an electric car. I want to have
baby gasoline, maybe electric, maybe a hybrid, maybe someday a hydrogen.
Do you have a hydrogen car? It has one problem,
but blows up, you know, So I'm gonna give that
one to Peter.
Speaker 2 (14:41):
Yeah, that's funny. I would give that hydrogen car that
blows up to Peter. See, he's like his joke and
he's having a good time. I will say, you've got
to realize too. As he's giving this little impromptu interview
right there, he's got his Golf of America, big red
Golf of America hat on on it. So the big
(15:04):
beautiful battle continues, and we're gonna talk more about it.
We can break more of this down. Plus we got
a tech Tuesday, got great conversations to Kenya have and
of course big good news. I also want to get
into this this new poll out democrats say in America,
the headlines that American pride slips to new low. But
(15:25):
when you really dig into it, you know what you find?
It's democrats, inn't That's something? All right? Back after this,
But first we got a report from the Midwestern and
on the way, we've got more conversations with you, and
if you're able on this Independence Day, we let' just
(15:45):
ask that you rise please, probably for our national anthem.

There's one point four million of them in this country.
They receive Medicaid benefits.

Dot News appreciate you being here with us today. Man,
oh man, what a beautiful day. It's gonna be absolutely
gorgeous as always summer in Michigan. Thanks to the folks
at Mentality powering this program today and every day. Men,
we need you in a fight now more than ever.
(18:42):
We need you standing up for what's right. You see
this crazy stut, I've got it. Americans feeling less patriotic. Well,
I'll tell you what that really means. Coming up here
in a little bit, and there's a little truth. It's
got to be broken down with it. I'll get to it.
May not be shocking to you, but we've got the
poll numbers to prove it. So, man, we need you
in the fight. It's important now more than ever. Before
(19:03):
that edge, you used to have the energy, the strength.
It's fading. Not your fault, though, your testosterol levels dropping
every generation. Normal ranges, they lie. That's why over twenty
thousand men have come to Mentality, But as normal just
doesn't build legacies. If you are feeling the urge, maybe
it's time to get back on track. You want to
be the best father, best husband, the best grandfather, the

man that you were created. B maybe even in you're
calling and you step up. Today. Today is the day
nothing's gonna change unless you do go to mentality Health.
That's mentalityhealth dot com, slash Radio. En take your life back,
but do it today. Don't hesitate watching the inside the
halls of the Senate, the hallowed halls of the Senate's
(19:45):
winning of Votorama, more debate. By the way, they think
this thing will get through today. I don't know the
likelihood of you know, President Trump's got yourself and post
July for a deadline on this have to wait. We'll
see how that all plays out. But and Bacon, we'll
(20:06):
have the la as we get through that today. And
what we're talking about. I still have this story and
I think it's it's really sad. But I've got to
make sure that we're clear on it too, because the
headline it makes you think, God, you don't know Aboudy
loves America anymore? American pride slipping to a new loan. Now,
it's just it's actually just one party.
Speaker 5 (20:27):
Time is measured in this.
Speaker 2 (20:29):
In this movie, you could probably guess which one it is.
It's actually just one party. That's contributing to it. We'll
talk about that coming up here in just a moment.
I want to know about it. They hang out, folks,
Let's get out to our tech talks that our good
friend trick and idiot.
Speaker 1 (20:46):
Tech and how it affects you and your world to
be done. This is Tech Talk Tuesday on Wood Radios,
West Michigan Live.
Speaker 2 (20:54):
All right, Trent, welcome and appreciate you being here with
us today. Always a pleasure, my friend. And big news
it comes to tech with there's always something happened, especially now,
whether it's AI or folks getting hacked, or the grid
going now, whatever it is, we bring it to you
all straight, no sugarcoated, and of course that's what we're
(21:14):
going to do today. Thank you for being here with
us on an independence week man, good morning, justin so
let's start with this A couple of big stories that
are out there floating around. You sent me a few,
I saw a few. I just want to start with
this with in Michigan, Michigan Hospitals hacked again. Hackers stole
the personal data of seven hundred and forty thousand people
(21:37):
during an attack on a Michigan hospital. This has already happened.
So the reason we're telling you this, folks, is so
that you are aware your information might be out there.
We'll give you some details on what you can do.
But Trent another story another day. There's another one of
these big stories. This happened last week, I think, or
it came out like.
Speaker 5 (21:55):
Justin It feels like these are our weekly stories that
we see massive, massive data, which is things that didn't happen,
you know, even five or ten years ago. On this scale,
it's just week after week, and it gets to the
point where people think, well, is anything safe? Is anything secure?
Why these bad guys keep hacking things over and over?
Don't they have everything already? And because of two factor authentication,
(22:19):
because people are changing these passwords, these password leaks, these
data breaches aren't good forever. Hackers need new data, they
need current data. That's kind of the lifeblood of their industry.
So I would just encourage people to make sure you
use a digital password management system that's linked to dark
web scanners. So Apple has a built in free passwords app.
(22:41):
There's third party apps out there, but that is the
key right now, is to use a password management tool
that will tell you if your information has been compromised
or leaked, and then obviously you can reset just those
passwords instead of trying to figure out and reset every
single account that you have, which would probably take me
a week.
Speaker 2 (23:04):
You know, it's interesting too. We note that American hospitals, infrastructure,
like energy utilities, they've been on highlert since the attacks
in Iran, those targeted strikes for possible cyber attacks, whether
it's one of those bad actors, Russia or North Korea,
(23:24):
whoever it might be. They're always testing this, They're always
trying to do this. Fact. I saw somebody ask President
Trump about this the other day. China's trying to do
this to us, So I would China try anything? He
kind of admits, you know, we're always doing it to them.
We're doing it to them too. So this is a
back and forth because said this is sort of the
way of the world. I think was the interview with
Mario over the weekend, and as she says, is this
(23:47):
the way the way? He said, yeah, it's bad, but
this is it.
Speaker 5 (23:51):
It's justin what it is is it's probing, it's trying
to look for vulnerabilities, it's trying to look for ways
that we can be attacked and sadly these other people
when their regimes are actively support supporting this that then
they target our infrastructure. So they're looking for ways to
blackmail us. If you think this whole blackmail or this
(24:13):
extortion or ransomware, whatever you want to call it, is
just on a public company sphere, this is also happening
at governmental levels, and we don't hear about these things
because they keep those under wraps. But I wouldn't be
a bit surprised if government agencies have paid large sums
of money to foreign actors because they've had they've had
(24:33):
ransomware attacks or threatened to release their data. And we've
seen some of that in the past, but that may
be going on on a bigger picture than we understand.
Speaker 2 (24:43):
Trent, can it be affordable? Live store Likeness can drive
in Standale, Grand River Tech the other organization that can
help you with all of these needs. Here's another one
that looks kind of scary, speaking of what You're out
there with your cook out this weekend and you are
you're swatting it thinks flying around. You never know, it
(25:04):
could be a mosquito or it could be a mosquito drone.
China has unveiled new tiny spy drones that look like
a mosquito. I don't know if these are real or not,
but I wouldn't be surprised if some of the intelligence
folks are working on stuff like this. And by the way,
I will swap them too.
Speaker 5 (25:25):
Justin this is a funny story, because yes, we have
incredible mosquitos this year, more than I can recall in
recent history, and I really hope that's not what it is.
But no, on a serious note, these are micro sized drones.
They look like sort of a mosquito. You can see
the pictures there. These are designed to fly in two areas.
They have a pretty short flight time obviously because they're
so small, but they are designed to be deployed into
(25:48):
very sensitive areas where they can basically fly in and
sit and listen and they can listen to information. So
these are going to be used at military installations or
other sets of places where China doesn't have, you know,
hopefully it probably doesn't have too much ability to hack
like phone devices, so for average joes to think, hey,
I'm going to swat every mosquito that got into my house,
(26:10):
there's much cheaper ways to target your apps or through
your phone. As an individual user, I won't worry about that,
but this is something that the government has to take
seriously at their military installations. Now there is some technology
to scan for these things. I doubt the military has
that scanning technology because they do have a battery, they
have some transmitters built in. So I think we're going
to see some counter detection equipment going to be installed
(26:33):
at military bases because of these types of threats.
Speaker 2 (26:37):
Well, drones could seem scary, and you know, even these
small ones of spy drones especially, I get it, I understand,
but not all of them are up to no good.
In fact, there are few that are doing great work.
And here's one that has caught the attention of folks online.
This drone was rescuing a man. Who ever see anything
(27:00):
like this before, Trent? This is wild. This is a
This is a drone that was sent in that actually
was able to do a rescue of a guy, almost
like a helicopter. They pull him up on this and
it's a pretty decent sized gale. It takes a couple
of guys to carry it, but it can go in
and being deployed during having rains and flooding can actually
help and in fact, this is what happened I guess
(27:21):
a couple of weeks back in flooded areas. It can
drop belief, surprise, but it can also pick people up
and bring them to safety. This is wild.
Speaker 5 (27:31):
Yeah, justin we're seeing these drones used in farms to
spray crops. This is basically a large utility drone. It's
anywhere from four to six feet across, and these drones
are used to pick up fertilizer. They can spray it
on fields, and obviously they can use for utility purposes
like we see in this in this video here, where
they can take large amounts of material in a bag.
(27:55):
In this case, they were using it to bring goods,
people's personal passe essions out of a flood zone and
this guy was stranded on a roof and they just
took a rope and picked this guy up. That's the
coolest thing. We're going to see more of these utilities.
That's what's being used obviously here, hopefully also for rescues.
Think of the different things that happened in the past,
(28:16):
burning buildings. They could absolutely be used for rescues.
Speaker 2 (28:20):
All right, I've got to ask you about this because
It just came up in the chat and I did
see it this week, so I figured I might as
well ask you. I gotta mute this because I don't
know as far as the audio on this, but somebody
did ask about it, so well, Eric, have you seen
Trent the robot caught walking around in Detroit? This is
(28:41):
a Detroit somebody in Detroit catches this on video. There
is a robot walking down the street. And if you
see in the kind of the corner of your eye
on this video, there's a guy seems like he's got
a remote that is working the remote control over him.
This that looks looks like a world and it says
(29:01):
it waves to the car. It says Robowar dot com
maybe on it. I'm not sure, but it is kind
of This is kind of strange to see. I don't
know if it's a preview of what's to come in
the next two years or not, but this was wild.
Speaker 5 (29:19):
Yeah, justin I don't think there's any laws about taking
your remote control robot out for a walk on the sidewalk,
so I think I think maybe we're gonna see more
of this. But it is creepy, It walks, funny, It
looks funny. Doesn't look like some of you're gonna walk
up to and shake their hand and say how you
doing today.
Speaker 2 (29:38):
It's just crazy stuff like that, and you think about
like that's the future, that's that's what's coming our way,
very very possibly could be all right, Another quick one robots.
Amazon on the custom of using more they want to
replace humans, so in their factories. This is one of
the things that you can say they look forward to
(29:58):
Amazon going to use more robots than humans in their factories.
Speaker 5 (30:06):
Justin This is a bitter sweet sweet story because on
the one hand, you know, human labor is obviously being
replaced by robots at an incredible pace, and so that
takes jobs from people. It takes the human aspect out
of work and our American culture that revolved around hard work,
making and building the roads the equipment of our nation.
(30:29):
On the other hand, when robots can do a job
of a human, as we've seen in the past, whether
it's the blacksmith you know, making it by hand, or
large industrial forages. Every time we've had a piece of
machinery or technology replace that, there's been some short term
pain in the workforce and the business system. But we've
accomplished incredible things industrially, and then we've also those people
(30:53):
that did work in those fields pivoted to other fields
that were more of a brain types of tasks than
the physical. And that's the interesting part of this is
as AI and technology is becoming more you know, have
more brain power to do things that are not just
physical jobs, but more AI related tasks that people would
(31:13):
typically have to do, it's kind of uncharted territory of
what is the shift going to do. Is it going
to provide an opportunity for people to work in different
fields or is AI going to also stop that? And
we're left with a strange world where people don't have
as many jobs as a whole, and we need work.
Work is meaningful. Work is how we function as human beings,
(31:36):
and it would really mess up society if we had
a ton of people that didn't have that satisfaction, that
drive to work. So that is the interesting part of
this that we don't really know exactly where this is going.
Speaker 2 (31:48):
Yeah, without a vision or a purpose, you know, people perishes,
what the Bible says, So we've got to have something
to do. I can't imagine not ever working. We're doing
something I know Trent may take a little time off
for Independence Day weekend, but other than that he's there
with you and ready to go. Twenty four to seven
almost but most of the time over at Affordable Lize
(32:08):
started Lake Michigan Drive and stand. I'll check the website
of course for hours, but also because I'm not serious
when I say twenty four seven, but the guy doesn't
stop working. That's it's a wonderful thing about him. And
then Grand River Tech where he's got folks in the
equipment and whatnot up and running to keep you protected
twenty four to seven. Of course, your your organization, your church,
(32:30):
whatever it might be. Business. He'd love to help you
out there. Trent. Always a pleasure, my friend. Thank you
so much for being here with us today. We appreciate you.
Thanks day, Hey you too, and enjoy your Independence Day weekend.
Back with more after this, Folks don't all end late.
It's from the Midwest. Everywhere about the reports on that?
And is it true? Is the American pride and an
(32:52):
old time low? Let me tell you the truth. It's
really one party and what that means and why how
do we fix it? Coming up?
Speaker 1 (33:00):
Thanks breaking down the story. It's West Michigan Live with
Justin Barklay on News Radio Wood thirteen hundred and one
oh six nine a FM.
Speaker 4 (33:08):
Here are your headlines from the Midwesterner this Tuesday, July first.
I'm Robin Hoffman. It's a Midwesterner. Dot News original story.
Just a fraction of Democrats polled say they want Michigan
Governor Whitmer to run for president in twenty twenty eight.
The national poll conducted by Emerson College finds only two
percent would support Whitmer. Former Transportation Secretary Pete Buddha Judge
(33:32):
coming in first place, followed by former Vice President Kamala
Harris in third place. California Governor Liberal Gavin Newsom, a
Saginaw City councilwoman convicted of election fraud, will serve out
her term at least until she's recalled or sentenced to prison.
A jury convicted Monique Lamar Sylvia of felonies, including forging
(33:52):
signatures on election petitions. And President Trump heading to Florida
today to attend the opening of Alligator out There the Treas,
which will become the largest illegal alien detention center in
the US. The facility in the Florida Everglades, surrounded by
snakes and tons of dangerous alligators. For these stories and more,
visit the Midwesterner at the Midwesterner dot news.
Speaker 2 (34:22):
The headline's pretty serious at least anyway, Americans pride slips
to new level national pride, hitting a record low, only
fifty eight percent of US adults now saying they're extremely
or very proud to be an American. And I just
(34:42):
think to myself, well, first of all, let's let's clarify
this so that you can actually see the full details
in the story here. This isn't just about all Americans.
It's really about one part. If you look at the stats,
(35:02):
it's democrats. It's democrats who hate America and independence are
rising to But those would be people I think that
are indoctrinated or fell into that indoctrination process that happens
at the schools and some of these bigger institutions and whatnot.
So how do you stop this? Well, I think a
(35:24):
lot of it is a lot of things. Like I said,
it's been in the works for decades now, for generations.
Only fifty eight percent of adults US adults this is
according to the Gallop now say they're extremely or very proud
to be American nine point dropped from last year. Now,
(35:45):
what has happened in the last year? What do you think?
What do you think has happened? And you know what,
what do you think maybe led to this? I'm gonna
tell you one thing. It was the media. It was
the It was the back and forth, the constant petting
(36:10):
each other. Social media is another thing, petting us against
each other. The constant propaganda and indoctrination that we've all
faced on the nightly news, et cetera. It was that
big election year. Now again, let's dig into some of
the numbers. Here, the nine point drop right down to
(36:31):
fifty eight percent, the lowest Expenson's Gallops started tracking this
in twenty eleven. The decline driven mainly by Democrats. Listen
to this, Just thirty six percent expressed strong pride. That's
down significantly. Only thirty six percent of Democrats expressed strong pride,
(36:53):
along with a historic dip among independence as well. Down
the fifty three percent. Americans remain high or excuse me,
Republicans remain high. A real Americans. Republicans remain hi at
ninety two percent. That is a massive gap. Now, I
want to talk about why this is and I really
(37:15):
want to give you a bottom line for what we
can do to repair it. In fact, I want to
get into that in the after show today, but it
falls along party lines and so it looks like to
me anyway that the in faction, the demographics here too,
that some of the age groups work into this too.
But how do you, how do you fix it? Because
we must in order to survive, and not just survive,
(37:39):
but thrive. All right, back with more, don't forget, by
the way, to check out the folks at Talentwealth whether
you want are ready to retire today tomorrow ten twenty
