Speaker 1 (00:00):
Thank God Friday. It's been a long week and the
fellas are first.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Stop just got stopped in air goes down down during
my bad.

Speaker 1 (00:07):
East time that moves into the weekend.

Speaker 3 (00:09):
Big Rich, TD and Fletch present Bar Card Friday Brocking
by Kegan Bottles with the best selection of bourbon, whiskey, tequila,
Private Section Bottles and more.

Speaker 4 (00:19):
Probably I drink too much, way too much forgut my doctor,
you're especially it was.

Speaker 3 (00:23):
An ali it.

Speaker 5 (00:24):
Now let's for some drinks.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
Yeah, and we are pouring some drinks here on a
Barcard Friday Special Extended Edition. And I guess we're gonna
do this in perpetuity, as we uh said, Yes, we
do Barcard Fridays brought to you by Kegan Bottle, ten
locations all throughout San Diego County. As we're trying to
figure out how to do this again, it's like we're
getting our sea legs. We haven't done this in like
a year. We got Camel Gin in studio. We got

(00:46):
Mos behind the bar here mixing up drinks. We got
John Bond right behind him looking good. Yeah, cheers.

Speaker 6 (00:52):
Manonjob is always looking on Yeah, Well we're.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
Always looking over it.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
That's the voice of Tony Kanja owner operator Kegan Bottle,
which we couldn't figure out how to get that camera
on which so we'll just have to have him bounce
around from camera to camera. But cheers on a barcard Friday,
as we have some espresso Martine.

Speaker 7 (01:10):
Yes, thanks everybody who's here. We appreciate you jumping over
to YouTube. Do us favor subscribe. We're going to try
to do this every single week. Big rich out this week.
He will be back next week and the party will continue.
But this is great, Yeah, this is awesome.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
Now, Camel Gin is a gin I hadn't heard of
before Moz and so we heard you were coming in.
We look up what it is what you do here,
and you come in and the first thing you do
is you have a sip at neat And I got
to tell you mind pouring a little bit neat.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
Again me empty? Yeah, it is empty. It is empty.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
Statistically, you don't drink gin empty no empty neat neat,
which I said this earlier. I don't know if I've
ever sipped on a gin where I thought I want
to continue to do that.

Speaker 1 (01:56):
There we go, cheers, cheers.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
Now, this is a little different now right off the right,
off the bat. It's got a beautiful, beautiful nose, beautiful nose,
hell of a nose. Now it's very tasty and I
taste a little mint in it. Mas, is there mint
in this gin? I'm gonna have you and you can

(02:19):
pull that mic right over and talk right.

Speaker 5 (02:20):
In the mic.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
Speram is one of the ingredients. Spearman is one of
the ingredients. So very small, tiny one, Okay, okay, many
ingredients are there? Yeah? How many ingredients you have in
this gin? I'll tell you that story.

Speaker 4 (02:30):
Basically, it's a great based gin and then it's inspired
by I'm from Jordan, my business partner is from India,
so it's inspired by spices from India and Jordan to
give you that experience.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
The bit.

Speaker 4 (02:41):
The base is great based, but it has any sinstorian
needs to give you that sweetness to overpower the piney
gent taste that nobody likes. But then from a spice
note from India, cardamom, spearmint, peppercorn, and and and greapefruit
orangein lime. That way you wanted to experiment with, you know,
notes that represents our culture to give you an experience

(03:03):
where you could sip on it and then the beauty
about it. Like you sip on it, you taste different notes.
But when you mix it with other cocktails, that brings
a different experience.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
So would you distill a gin? Do you distill it
differently with this?

Speaker 1 (03:14):
Do you?

Speaker 2 (03:14):
I mean, do you put peppermint in the distilling process?
So it's in there and the and the evaporated into.

Speaker 1 (03:21):
The It's part of the distilling process. Wow. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (03:23):
And the only difference between this and the different gin
is based out of grapes, so it being a greate
base similar to like a Greek uzu or like a
like an Arabic rac it keeps that flavor and it
it's just a different experience that allows you to sip it.
And actually it would allow you to age it. So
our kind of next project would be having an age gin.
It's like your depisade of a gin.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
Oh I gotcha, I got okay, And it's something different, gotcha?
You know? It reflects our colors, the kind of the
step up. Okay, I got got that.

Speaker 4 (03:54):
And the goal of this is to share as an experience,
to share our cultures and make everybody happy on a Friday.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
It's working out well. You're doing a good job here, Mas.

Speaker 7 (04:04):
You know, tequila often is associated as being like kind
of a party drink, and for alcohol, it's a little
more of an upper whiskey. Maybe the opposite direction, like
you're falling asleep on the couch.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
What what are we doing with? What type of gin?
Is like a happy medium?

Speaker 4 (04:17):
Yeah, but no, it's definitely upwards that it's a party thing,
like yeah, yeah, do you see anybody having a and
going to bed after?

Speaker 7 (04:26):
Never? We only I'm thinking about going to one a
cat's spin class.

Speaker 1 (04:33):
Just hammered on gin, hammered on gin. I figured in
the morning would be a good kick for you guys.

Speaker 2 (04:39):
Oh this is wonderful. What what is the recipe on
the espresso marchin?

Speaker 1 (04:47):
I didn't realize this was the elevens and spices.

Speaker 4 (04:54):
So basically we call it a CG plus, so our
take on a c HE but with additions. Basically si
espresso martini corahio mixed with kem gin and the beauty
about kmongin has cardimom in it, so when you mix
it with coffee and the grapefruit and with like the
core forty three, so it gives those spice and kind
of like citrus notes in a in a special Martine.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
I believe you you said a few words. I don't know.
I don't know, but I'm just cardihio.

Speaker 5 (05:19):
Was that the first?

Speaker 1 (05:20):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (05:20):
So I used the Core forty three, which is like
the mein ingredient Cardillo.

Speaker 1 (05:23):
Just to give it that.

Speaker 6 (05:24):
All of my friends are obsessed with cards. That's all
that they order. It's like a more elevated espresso martini.

Speaker 1 (05:31):
Your mind.

Speaker 2 (05:32):
All all of my friends, I mean, I just I
have countless and countless friends, right, guys.

Speaker 7 (05:38):
I have one friend wh his name is Tony Kanja, Yes, sir,
and he loves Yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:43):
And it's brilliant of you.

Speaker 5 (05:43):
You guys use that drink because that's one of the
most popular Apparteve drinks.

Speaker 2 (05:47):
Right.

Speaker 5 (05:47):
Everyone's ordering those after after the fact, So to do
that is spectacular, well done.

Speaker 1 (05:52):
I've been a boozer for twenty years, so.

Speaker 2 (05:55):
You could reads this is what's great here on our
on our first bar card Friday that we've done live
here and over a year. Cat not experienced doing this
live where we have a camera now set on her
where usually she makes these faces off the air. So
when I say things that are stupid or she says
things to make fun of me. She can then make

(06:15):
a face that no one can see because it's only
on the radio. But now there was a camera pointed
right at her as she as what it is, as
what I said, I don't have any friends, and she was.

Speaker 1 (06:25):
Like, right, do the thing.

Speaker 7 (06:30):
Puffer fish, the fish that when it gets a threatened
it starts to puff up.

Speaker 1 (06:34):
Yeah, yeah, Cat does one of these yo. Oh, Yeah,
that's the look. It's when I'm trying.

Speaker 6 (06:40):
It's like biting my tongue, you know, I just close
my mouth. Yeah, and all the words that we're going
to release just stay in there.

Speaker 1 (06:47):
Those are the looks though. You have to know. It's
kind of like, you know, you.

Speaker 2 (06:50):
Know, the look from your wife when when she's mad
you've said the wrong thing.

Speaker 1 (06:54):
You're going to have to have a talk in the.

Speaker 7 (06:56):
Car on the way home, and the garage needs to
be cleaned or something.

Speaker 1 (06:58):
I'm going to go out there for a Yeah, I'm
going to clean the bathroom.

Speaker 7 (07:01):
Now, Cat, we're contractually stuck with her.

Speaker 6 (07:04):
Well, you're contractually stuck with your wives as well. That
is what you You signed a legal document. It's more
binding than our work contracts.

Speaker 5 (07:13):
We just don't have better than that. We happily.

Speaker 8 (07:22):
Are happily with me, Tony, get out of my camera fight.

Speaker 5 (07:29):
We're going to get We're gonna get you there, don't
I'll call that guy for you.

Speaker 7 (07:33):
Yeah, that's it has been a while since we've gotten
to hang out with you, at least done on air capacity.
But things have changed, Like the Tierra Santa location is
open for food now.

Speaker 5 (07:41):
It is open for food. We're super excited about it.
We're building a little patio out there, so it's good time.

Speaker 7 (07:47):
We were talking yesterday about maybe trying to throw a
party there is that.

Speaker 2 (07:51):
Yeah, said, we make a lot of plans without you here, Tony.

Speaker 1 (07:56):
Just on your behalf. It's fine.

Speaker 5 (07:58):
I know it's on your drive home, right, that's easy
for Yeah.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
Yeah, that's that is That is my my That is
my keg and bottle stop there.

Speaker 1 (08:08):
That one. That one's the easy one for me to
get to right off the fifty and it's really on
off the first. It is easy.

Speaker 7 (08:16):
Right by dairy Queen.

Speaker 1 (08:18):
You've hit up dairy Queen every time.

Speaker 6 (08:20):
I so dangerous, it's so dangerous the Tony twice week.

Speaker 8 (08:26):
Okay, what's what's your d Q order?

Speaker 1 (08:28):
It's very simple offer vanilla large.

Speaker 8 (08:32):
You just get a nice.

Speaker 1 (08:35):
Do you get the dine?

Speaker 6 (08:36):
No din is what you?

Speaker 1 (08:40):
No?

Speaker 5 (08:40):
No, no, just vanilla, you just vanilla.

Speaker 1 (08:43):
I'm with Tony. Actually just a vanilla cone is.

Speaker 8 (08:45):
So perfect dipped in chocolate.

Speaker 7 (08:49):
Yeah, I totally don't get the full Reese's Blizzard every
single time, the Blizzard Blizzard alone.

Speaker 2 (08:55):
You ever ever buy just a box of Buster barss?

Speaker 8 (09:01):
Is that like the naughty ice cream bar?

Speaker 1 (09:03):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (09:03):
That is?

Speaker 1 (09:04):
You know what? What's also dangerous?

Speaker 2 (09:05):
You go by the Del Serro Keg and Bottle occasion,
del Cerro pizza?

Speaker 6 (09:10):
Oh hey, is that what you brought us over for
our Dose to Mile party?

Speaker 8 (09:13):
Was the Del Sara pizza? That was good pizza, hot
honey pizza.

Speaker 1 (09:16):
Yeah, honey, it's dangerous.

Speaker 8 (09:18):
That was fantastic.

Speaker 1 (09:19):
Not because it's my place, delicious Sony.

Speaker 7 (09:24):
We had a question coming through on YouTube asking is
camel gin sold at Canby Bistro or the College Keg
and Bottle?

Speaker 5 (09:30):
It is, It's sold at all the San Diego locations.
So very cool. Fact I met this guy at the
San Diego Spirits Festival and yeah, so I was there
doing some R and D right, and which means drinking,
drinking and hanging drinking. And then I see this camel gin.
I'm like, no way, what the heck has that? Never

(09:50):
heard of it? You know?

Speaker 1 (09:51):
And I walk up, he goes, we just launched, you know.

Speaker 5 (09:53):
And then there's two guys, two partners, cool guys.

Speaker 1 (09:56):
I tasted them. Guys.

Speaker 5 (09:57):
Gin gin is up and coming. People's a really popular
category these days. And I tasted. I'm like, well, this
is actually pretty good. Were you guys out of it?
He goes right here in San Diego. I said, I'm
your guy. I'm gonna hook you up. So we brought
him in all the locations. We're selling it on our
website nationwide. So if you're listening to this on iHeart,
you can get this right to your door. And it's

(10:18):
only twenty nine to ninety nine.

Speaker 1 (10:20):
That's that's actually incredible. And that's what I was gonna say.

Speaker 2 (10:23):
For thirty bucks a sipping gin, I mean again, never
heard of a sipping gin for thirty dollars mos.

Speaker 4 (10:33):
That was our goal, Like we wanted the juice, the
juice was What was the key about that?

Speaker 1 (10:37):
Okay?

Speaker 2 (10:37):
That's yeah. So I was gonna ask you was did
you were you're trying to keep it at this price.

Speaker 4 (10:41):
Point is because we don't people to enjoy it, because
I could have went for a fancy battle and you know,
charge you fifty bucks for that. But that's not how
we're all like. We just wanted somebody something that people
would love something, said, whoa, whoa?

Speaker 2 (10:51):
Are you telling me that some of these alcohol companies
charge a lot of money just because a bottle.

Speaker 1 (10:59):
I mean, I don't want to call me.

Speaker 7 (11:00):
I mean, Tony, what would you be charging for camel
gin if you had control?

Speaker 5 (11:11):
No, I mean that's that's a beautiful price point because
once you go over that then you know it's the
whole different customer. But you know, other popular premium brands
are like Hendricks. I'm happy to say that's a delicious
brand that people enjoy. But honestly, guys, if you try this,
it's different than Hendricks, right, but you can taste the
premium was a quality coming through and he's not charging

(11:31):
a premium price, so right.

Speaker 8 (11:32):
Well, and by the way, I think it's a cute bottle.

Speaker 2 (11:36):
Present, looks awesome, clean, Yeah, yeah, I love it, and
it's got a camel on it, which then we find
out you have access to a live camel.

Speaker 4 (11:45):
I mean when is bad he is ready at the
Terrace Center location. I'll just park there, bring the camel.

Speaker 8 (11:50):
Yeah, Moss, tell us more about this camel. Is this
a joke?

Speaker 4 (11:54):
I mean no, there's a there's a way. I mean
where is Kansow ship went from Jordan?

Speaker 1 (11:59):
You ship camel?

Speaker 5 (12:02):
I hop.

Speaker 1 (12:04):
On a shipping camel forget all that.

Speaker 5 (12:07):
Who cares because he's going to take care of that.
Is the camel geting going to get along with cats? Cats?
Because because afterwards we have to store the camel somewhere.
That's true, and it's going home with you. The only
one doesn't have to answer anything that the.

Speaker 8 (12:23):
Two bedroom afartment in North Bark I don't have space
for a came the.

Speaker 7 (12:26):
Whole second bedroom.

Speaker 2 (12:27):
But they call camel's apartment camels.

Speaker 6 (12:31):
They're mary domesticated, has a big valley.

Speaker 7 (12:34):
Center a the ones that spit or is that lamas
the camel spit both is more bite than spit?

Speaker 1 (12:45):
Yeah if you.

Speaker 8 (12:49):
Yeah, because off camels.

Speaker 1 (12:52):
That's the cat must be a camel got a lot.
You got to.

Speaker 5 (12:56):
Google camel riding because there's there's I've seen these videos
where people get on these camels.

Speaker 1 (13:00):
The camel just there is so fast.

Speaker 8 (13:02):
You know what I did?

Speaker 6 (13:03):
I wrote a camel once in Dubai and it all
of a sudden just like wanted to like lay down,
and I did fly off the front of it because
it sat really quick and you're up high.

Speaker 1 (13:13):
Wow, it's high. Wait, hold on, was it a one
hop cancer? I heard the podcast earlier in the morning.
It's one hunt.

Speaker 8 (13:20):
Up in the middle, you know.

Speaker 4 (13:21):
But when you write it, the Sadden's like has two
pointy things that you could sit in between.

Speaker 5 (13:27):
Camel, right, but not in where camel for.

Speaker 1 (13:31):
I don't know. That's my camera.

Speaker 8 (13:36):
Probably camel gin.

Speaker 1 (13:38):
They probably made vodka.

Speaker 5 (13:39):
He's like, seriously, guys, I'm only offering a one camera.

Speaker 2 (13:45):
I came here to sell gin So Camel Gin. How
how did you get started? I mean with the thought
of we should make gin.

Speaker 4 (13:55):
So Me and my business partner, he's from India. We
used to be in tech together. We used to work together,
and the only thing the only way we could get
along together is to drink together. Kidding same here, but
so we like sipping on whiskey or tequila.

Speaker 1 (14:07):
Episode. We love sipping, we love boozing.

Speaker 4 (14:10):
And I'm the orphan in San Diego, like everybody's married,
so I always go to their house on Sunday, him
and his wife.

Speaker 1 (14:14):
They cook Indian food, which is amazing.

Speaker 4 (14:16):
And every time we try to find a business idea
and he's like, let's do a tequila brand, I'm like no,
it's like how about Gin?

Speaker 1 (14:21):
And I'm like okay that I don't know.

Speaker 4 (14:23):
It's just like a random, you know, night and we're like, okay,
with Gin, you could experiment with flavors. We could represent
our cultures, right and maybe do something unique. And we
from tech have no idea what the alcohol.

Speaker 1 (14:38):
We never tasted gin before.

Speaker 8 (14:42):
That's a crazy start.

Speaker 6 (14:43):
You're just at dinner at your homies house and you
guys are like, let's start a business.

Speaker 1 (14:47):
Yeah. The next morning he's send me LC and liquor
license papers.

Speaker 5 (14:50):
So, and you got to meet his partner and coorse
he pronounced on Core. So he's awesome guy. He was
also at the show and love both of right, and
so I could see that he would do that for you.

Speaker 1 (15:02):
The next day, just here you go sign right here.

Speaker 4 (15:05):
Yeah, that's why when you ask for a sponsorship, I'm like,
wait until I'm drunk.

Speaker 1 (15:08):
And that's what happened to you.

Speaker 4 (15:10):
I said, yes, And then and the next morning he's like,
I'm I guess I said, yes, that's awesome.

Speaker 1 (15:17):
InCor you don't know this, but we're getting new cameras.

Speaker 7 (15:19):
But we've learned a lot about like how whiskey gets made,
about how gets even I have no idea how gin
gets made. What's the process?

Speaker 1 (15:27):
Like is it different from everything else botanicals? That's all
I know. So the base of gin is juniper berry.

Speaker 4 (15:32):
So any any any base of a spirit you have,
juniper berry is in it to a certain extent.

Speaker 1 (15:37):
That's what they call it. And that's what makes gin gin.

Speaker 5 (15:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (15:39):
So but the only difference with camon gen it's great based.
So the base is not barley or the grain. So
that way it just brings different flavors and a different experience.

Speaker 1 (15:47):
But you still use juniper. We have to.

Speaker 4 (15:49):
That's the only way is otherwise it won't be catchigodized.
But the things like how could you overpower that piney
taste and get and that's why we added like story
and to give it the sweetness, the fine kind of taste.
But then okay, let's and that's like kind of like
the Mediterranean, Middle Eastian influence. But then let's add some
spice to it. So that's why the speriment you were mentioning. Yeah,

(16:10):
the cardiman, the peppercorn, the tea, and then there's some citrus, grapefruod,
orange and lime. But having as a as a as
a grape base allows those flavors to kind of So.

Speaker 5 (16:21):
Your middle Easter and your partner's Indian, Right, how come
you got the camel? Why did he get the Indian?
In this argument?

Speaker 9 (16:30):
Like, right, oh, I'm very honest. I don't think the
moss has a camera. There's this camel in his backyard.

Speaker 5 (16:43):
The liar. My gosh, because I just heard like thirty
five seconds ago that you're single.

Speaker 1 (16:52):
My friend here.

Speaker 5 (16:55):
Single, it's happening now, and I'm just saying, like she's
busy with that other.

Speaker 1 (17:01):
You know what that means? Cat here saw your picture.

Speaker 5 (17:09):
We can do this, right because we can call Oh yeah,
we could call Mas.

Speaker 1 (17:14):
We can call Mas.

Speaker 5 (17:15):
No, no, we're calling Mas.

Speaker 6 (17:16):
Dude.

Speaker 5 (17:16):
The other guy, the other guy snoozed, he's out mask,
So like, how are you?

Speaker 1 (17:23):
That's the personal question. I'm forty whoa okay, okay? Twenty nine.
I read that we.

Speaker 4 (17:30):
Two people say about true right twenty nine person, as
long as they're not gen z on down.

Speaker 8 (17:35):
Yeah, she's yeah, that's that's what Flagh.

Speaker 1 (17:38):
Sorry, you're out.

Speaker 7 (17:42):
Him the border because I'm definitely more millennial, which doesn't
feel like a compliment.

Speaker 5 (17:46):
So Mas owns his own gin company, very successful. I
he's wildly attracted, wildly.

Speaker 1 (17:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (17:53):
He's in the animals and the animals. He's obviously cultured.
He likes to travel abroad. He's got a cool cameras
sugar interest, a very cool camel shirt.

Speaker 1 (18:02):
I cannot, I cannot.

Speaker 8 (18:03):
Wear those top two buttons.

Speaker 2 (18:05):
Yeah he took the top two buttons off after hours.

Speaker 1 (18:09):
Oh yeah, yeah, I don't even need buttons. Wilds comes
out right right. Look at this drink. Let me go distribute.

Speaker 2 (18:18):
Okay, hold on, yeah, what did you mix into that?
We were drinking espress on Martini's. We've been sipping on
camel jin neat and now you've made something that's literally
glowing Martini glass. But that's a great way to sell it, cat, Well,
it looks like a great way to sell it. Really tasty.
Annie Freeze, right now, hang on, I want to finish

(18:39):
the espresso Martini.

Speaker 1 (18:40):
Yeah, finish that chug.

Speaker 2 (18:42):
I almost dropped this glass which would be the second
time I've broken a martini glass.

Speaker 7 (18:47):

look at that, look at that? What what is this
thing called? So this is our take on the be's knees.
We called it the came leen. Wow, just to make
it easier to prepare last minute.

Speaker 4 (19:14):
You guys, you didn't give me enough time to bring
my camel and my honey fresh honey.

Speaker 2 (19:20):
But there's a lot of I would like to say
that that was we didn't know there was a camel involved.

Speaker 1 (19:27):
Otherwise we would have pushed it out a week. You
know what I'm saying next time.

Speaker 4 (19:31):
So basically it's just to take for we call it
a camelins basically medory fresh lemon juice from my backyard.

Speaker 6 (19:36):
That's fresh lemon juice.

Speaker 2 (19:39):
And look at now. All of a sudden, you know
he's got a lemon tree.

Speaker 1 (19:42):
He's got a lemon tree there.

Speaker 5 (19:45):
And it's not a condo.

Speaker 1 (19:48):
This is the winner.

Speaker 4 (19:51):
I used as a liqueur instead of like the for sugar,
like to give it like yeah, but instead of honey,
like I went from that way more alcohol.

Speaker 2 (20:00):
This is this is the camel.

Speaker 1 (20:06):
One day I'll be on my knee to propose. Yes,
that's what Kat is looking for, his longevity. Longevity. That's
what she said.

Speaker 5 (20:19):
Are you are you blushing back then?

Speaker 1 (20:21):
I mean it's alcohol.

Speaker 5 (20:23):
It does make you look at look at the way,
look at the way John Bond is side eye.

Speaker 2 (20:30):
Oh my goodness, are you talking about my cat like that?

Speaker 8 (20:33):
Yeah, we know one thing. It's that John bon Jovi
is always watching.

Speaker 2 (20:39):
Yeah, it really is things. We should bring Jesse bon
Jovi in here too. Him the other day he's doing that.

Speaker 5 (20:46):
Jesse's in touch with him, right, Yeah, we've he's a
friend of the show.

Speaker 1 (20:50):
We've talked to him several times.

Speaker 6 (20:52):
But I'm unlike you, Tony, he doesn't reply to our DM.

Speaker 2 (20:57):
We were able to talk to Jesse within a drop
of a hat. Yeh, as long as we call Tony
and say, hey, can you have Jesse call us? Can
you connect us.

Speaker 5 (21:04):
We can call Jesse anytime.

Speaker 2 (21:06):
Yeah, Jesse, Jesse's cardboard cutout. He's literally pounding a bottle
of him and water.

Speaker 1 (21:12):
It's good.

Speaker 7 (21:14):
We do need some help from maybe mos can name it,
but we have a new show mascot. It's right up
behind the door. I don't know if we can get
a camera on that cab. Oh yeah, here, I can,
I can, Oh, yeah there. So it's actually it's a
jackalobe with its hat. Until about two hours ago, thought
was a real life bunny with antlers that got killed
and mounted on our wall.

Speaker 6 (21:35):
Yeah's offended that we put some taxidermy up in the studio,
But then only this was a fictional creature.

Speaker 5 (21:41):
What's a backstory of that?

Speaker 8 (21:45):
You asked that?

Speaker 1 (21:46):
Quick story?

Speaker 7 (21:47):
Actually I found it on my phone yesterday and I
showed it to TD and I said should I order this?

Speaker 1 (21:51):
And he nodded, yeah, just.

Speaker 7 (21:54):
One day shipping on Amazon twenty five bucks.

Speaker 5 (21:56):
Done deal.

Speaker 1 (21:57):
I got here, You got here this or yesterday, and
it is mounted.

Speaker 2 (22:00):
This morning by me obviously.

Speaker 7 (22:04):
Yeah, you need a names, You got any ideas it's
going to be predicted?

Speaker 1 (22:08):
Get incorrect? I can't say, well.

Speaker 2 (22:13):
Into the microphone, man, man, Uh this this drink is perfection.

Speaker 1 (22:21):
Another another recipe will have to throw up online.

Speaker 4 (22:24):
I mean I have to be buzzed in first. So
that's that's how magic.

Speaker 2 (22:28):
Okay, I got you, I got you. Are you going
to tell us where you got that shirt? But by
the way, did you unbutton another? But I guess it's
taking off?

Speaker 5 (22:43):
So is it four or five days a week that
you work out? Because underneath but three another drinking charity?

Speaker 1 (22:51):
Right drink right right right right? That's that's pretty that's
pretty good. Yeah, man, days are you doing the cycle cycle?

Speaker 8 (23:02):
I do about three days a week. Jim another four
days a week.

Speaker 1 (23:05):
Four days.

Speaker 5 (23:06):
So do you think do you think you could join
her for a couple of cycling sessions? Oh?

Speaker 1 (23:10):
Do you ever do cycle bar? In two years?

Speaker 4 (23:18):
It's just a mentally prepair. I mean as a camera.
I'm built for endurance, but not that kind.

Speaker 8 (23:23):
Of They also won't come to my class.

Speaker 1 (23:30):
We're also built for endurance.

Speaker 5 (23:35):
Oh man, So I hear just we got to go
in the endurance okay, because you know I used to
play soccer and that was one of my lines. We
call it football football, and I said I I played football,
and football players do it for ninety minutes.

Speaker 7 (23:49):
Contact was crazy?

Speaker 1 (23:52):
Did you see that John bonds side?

Speaker 5 (23:54):
And again?

Speaker 8 (23:55):
Sometimes time? On top of that?

Speaker 1 (23:57):
Football and rugby rugby for you? Okay, man, I've been
that's why, all right?

Speaker 4 (24:02):
So what do you I'm a winger like I used
to be fast. They would throw the ball and as
fast I can. So I don't get you know what's crazy?

Speaker 1 (24:11):
And I know you may not know just by looking
at me. But I've never been fast. There's never been
a moment in my life.

Speaker 7 (24:17):
But you look so so aerodynamic.

Speaker 2 (24:20):
I bet if you drop me out of an airplane,
I'd hit terminal velocity pretty.

Speaker 7 (24:24):
Fast, but you probably live.

Speaker 1 (24:29):
I think you just bounced a couple of times.

Speaker 6 (24:30):
You think that about TD Fletch, You think that he
is going to surpass all of us in this life.

Speaker 2 (24:36):
I bet I bet if you put me in a microwave.
I bet if you put all of us in a
microwave and hit go, I bet I would live the longest.

Speaker 1 (24:43):
You know what?

Speaker 5 (24:44):
I bet if I called Sarah, she would tell me
you're pretty fast. You know what?

Speaker 2 (24:56):
You don't have, stam, I'm not gonna for endurance, Tony?

Speaker 1 (25:05):
When did you start camel Gin? When? How long has
it been. So I think the drunk idea started.

Speaker 4 (25:13):
What November, yeah, year ago, November last year, So that's
all it's been.

Speaker 1 (25:17):
Yeah, So that's when like we started, we did.

Speaker 4 (25:19):
We worked with a disteller for R and D and
then by the time we got an official product, it
was I would say, April.

Speaker 1 (25:26):
Yeah, we just we just started in April.

Speaker 2 (25:29):
In five months time, it went from a drunk idea
to a bottled gin labeled in a store.

Speaker 1 (25:38):
With a logo and a story. Somehow we pulled it out.
I don't know, entrepreneur. I mean, this guy is a
go getter.

Speaker 8 (25:46):
That is amazing.

Speaker 6 (25:47):
I like people that get things done, because some people
just talk about dreams and aspirations forever and they never
pulled the trigger.

Speaker 1 (25:52):
Are you sure all the paper right out?

Speaker 4 (25:58):
My business partner is like the like hardcore, like you know,
finance accounting compliance, So he doesn't want that paperwork.

Speaker 1 (26:05):
I just god, he sounds so boring.

Speaker 2 (26:08):
He sounds your business business partner.

Speaker 1 (26:12):
Sounds so boring.

Speaker 8 (26:13):
He would he sounds like you get it done.

Speaker 1 (26:16):
He's your business partner, always married. He's married. You could
join the family. Can you imagine going to the Christmas.

Speaker 8 (26:24):
Party's cat that would be a fun party. Can we
all come?

Speaker 5 (26:28):
Wait a minute, hold on, I really like this. Yeah,
so listen, she's not married. How do you feel about
her exploring her opportunities? She's open relationship is no, no,
but I watched listen, listen, listen. I watched Love Island
for the first time.

Speaker 2 (26:48):
This last Yeah, I didn't, I didn't do it. It was
the first season I watch. And they use the word no,
I'm still open? Who was your friends.

Speaker 8 (26:56):
Open to dating?

Speaker 5 (26:58):
You're not committed to him or the other guy, but
you just go on a date.

Speaker 2 (27:02):
But but in one when she commits, she's committed, which
will be after the first date?

Speaker 5 (27:08):
Right, oh?

Speaker 1 (27:09):
Absolutely, they say, yeah, committed is close.

Speaker 2 (27:12):
What I feel like Cat's trying to be cutesy because
she's pulled her sleeves over her wrists.

Speaker 1 (27:19):
No no, no, no, no, no, no no no. All of
a sudden, all of a sudden, You're like.

Speaker 5 (27:25):
She was more and more. You were twirling your hair
as you looked at it.

Speaker 1 (27:30):
You were saying, you are, you are. It's getting cutesy
in here, right.

Speaker 2 (27:38):
Nine for a bottle of camel gin at any Kegan
Bottle location, and there are ten of them, and they're
actually there's one in Santa Barbara. There are there two
now in Chicago.

Speaker 5 (27:47):
There's two in Chicago, and yeah, we got one in
Michigan opening in Q one bit.

Speaker 8 (27:53):
And one of your sons is out there right they're
going to take care of that one.

Speaker 5 (27:56):
My oldest son, Anthony, he's based out of Chicago, so
he's going to take care of the ones that of town.
And so yeah, he's taking care of Chicago, Michigan right now.

Speaker 7 (28:04):
So you got anything new and yummy on the K
and B Strow menu, you.

Speaker 1 (28:08):
Know, No, not that I've seen lightly, but.

Speaker 5 (28:10):
Still got the mad Brussels. Mad Brussels are are pretty good.
But I'm sure they're going to do something here for
the fall, the Christmas.

Speaker 1 (28:16):
The cauliflower buffalo. I love those two.

Speaker 7 (28:20):
And TD and I actually when we had those together
for the first time.

Speaker 5 (28:23):
We were like, God, we're drinking the cat.

Speaker 2 (28:24):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (28:25):
I'm just going to say, you guys are naming things
that we can eat together.

Speaker 1 (28:28):
The calow we can do it. No, the mad Brussels,
that bacon, Okay, we can go and.

Speaker 6 (28:35):
Get the normal brass. We could have a sprout or two.
We could have a buffalo Collie you can call them
Brussels sprouts. Okay, you can say the whole thing. You
can say the whole thing. We're on YouTube, so you
can say the whole thing.

Speaker 1 (28:47):
T and B.

Speaker 7 (28:48):
B Stro actually has one of my favorite pasta dishes
in all of San Diego.

Speaker 1 (28:52):
What is the pasta dishes? What is the No, there's
one that's uh heard of it. I don't even get
with Maren now rest sauce.

Speaker 7 (29:00):
I was so hungover my wife and I went there
for lunch and we got a pasta dish. It was
out of this world. And this is better than most
Italian places. So trying to complement Tony over.

Speaker 1 (29:08):
Here, No, I appreciate.

Speaker 5 (29:09):
It's crazy what what we produce in that small little
kitchen there, and and the ingredients are spectacular, and that's
why you enjoyed it because Lydia made sure we didn't
skimpount on any of the any of the quality. So
hopefully that shows right through is it is it? Can
the marinara sauce? Look at the guy behind, Look look
at that.

Speaker 2 (29:27):
Yeah, Mackrea Gia Mockerna in studio today, And do you make.

Speaker 1 (29:33):
Your own marinara sauce? Tom?

Speaker 6 (29:36):
You do?

Speaker 1 (29:37):
You do what's the what do you put in it?
Camel gin? Yeah? Right right good, That's that's what we
all do. That's how you make it.

Speaker 5 (29:47):
There is there is vodka in that in that pasta sauce.

Speaker 1 (29:50):
So I hope maybe we can do a gin. You know,
maybe maybe you could like still a special.

Speaker 5 (29:59):
With it into when you come and do a tasting there. Well,
we'll do the possible with the gin rather than now now,
but a little niece inspired.

Speaker 2 (30:08):
Now, I feel like since this idea was created here
in the big rich TD and fledged studios.

Speaker 6 (30:13):
We should get to In fact, I don't even care
about the profit. We just can we put our name
on it?

Speaker 1 (30:18):
I just want why not? That's easy? I know a guy,
but I put it. Don't worry.

Speaker 5 (30:27):
But I feel like we should be like mister wonderful
where you go? You know, I want royalty.

Speaker 1 (30:31):
Oh yeah, and perpetuity. Perpetuity.

Speaker 8 (30:35):
Well should say that if you were here, he's got it.

Speaker 1 (30:39):
That is correct, That is correct.

Speaker 2 (30:41):
Rich, We'll be back next week because well we hope,
I mean, he may get stuck on the islands for
you out in Hawaii pulling out from don't say.

Speaker 6 (30:50):
That because the airports are a mess, right, now, so
we don't want him to get caught on Tuesday and Hawaii.

Speaker 1 (30:55):
He could be stuck there forever.

Speaker 8 (30:57):
No, did you fly last night?

Speaker 5 (30:59):
Oh? How was it?

Speaker 3 (30:59):
It was?

Speaker 1 (31:00):
It's easy, okay.

Speaker 8 (31:01):
But I think starting today they're they're cutting some of
the t s.

Speaker 1 (31:04):
A stun be fine, you'll be fine.

Speaker 5 (31:12):
The way we went to we went to NAPA in
San Francisco.

Speaker 2 (31:16):
I think, I think, I think things are said sometimes
just to create, maybe to make cat mad, to make
cat angry.

Speaker 6 (31:23):
I'm not mad, but I know the next time I fly,
I'm going to get there even earlier.

Speaker 8 (31:26):
I'm going to go to the lounge for an hour.

Speaker 1 (31:28):
You're not flying till the third week of December? Can
you go to Southern America?

Speaker 6 (31:34):
I'm flying before that. I'm flying for Thanksgiving to Panama.

Speaker 5 (31:41):

Speaker 5 (32:30):
Also there's a very good spot on this label to
have it engraved with a little uh Merry Christmas for
you know, bring this over to a Thanksgiving party because
we still have time to ship it in time for that,
and lends itself for a really cool different corporate gift.

Speaker 1 (32:44):

Speaker 2 (32:44):
I'm just saying, if you're maybe you're a you're a
CEO and you wanted to give gifts to everyone, you

to everybody.

Speaker 6 (33:06):
