Speaker 1 (00:01):
Ay, one more thing.
Speaker 2 (00:02):
Yeah, when you have the stereo on at the same
time as the TV, how do you control the volume
on a TV?
Speaker 3 (00:10):
Why do you want to listen to the TV with
the stereo on?
Speaker 1 (00:13):
Because I like to party.
Speaker 4 (00:14):
If you're blue and you don't know where to go to,
why don't you go wear passion sits where I buckle up?
Speaker 5 (00:24):
Because Rich is back in TDS on the board, the
FCC might need a call, so maybe press record. Fletches
at a wedding filling diaper shirts with sweat.
Speaker 1 (00:38):
Cat got into Latin jazz.
Speaker 5 (00:40):
Now she needs a cigar ret. It's a bark on Friday,
so go call this your warning. We made it through
the week, so we should probably drink this one.
Speaker 1 (00:52):
Thank god it's Friday.
Speaker 4 (00:54):
Whoa, thank god it's Friday.
Speaker 3 (00:58):
Indeed, man up up. That opened was correct?
Speaker 4 (01:04):
Yeah, not very much, it was yeah, yeah, I get
into Latin Jazz TV yesterday. You said you wanted to
go to the train station and see human and Latin Jazzumbia. Yeah,
that's what That's what I said. There's a train station. Wow,
there was some thinglings players stay. I can't remember what
it was called.
Speaker 1 (01:23):
Oh yeah, I don't remember.
Speaker 4 (01:25):
I called the train station because it had a train
stop on the logo was something like that.
Speaker 3 (01:31):
You said he loved the place.
Speaker 1 (01:32):
Yeah, I honestly don't remember where it was.
Speaker 2 (01:35):
Wow.
Speaker 3 (01:35):
Pretty sad. Pretty sad.
Speaker 1 (01:37):
So apparently hours ago is a long time ago.
Speaker 4 (01:39):
Well, it wasn't until nine o'clock last night and when
it started, so apparently you did not go to that. Okay,
Well people are probably wondering, Wow, you just said Rich
is back. But this is obviously TD's voice. Yes, it's
Big Rich TD and fletch cat Rich out today. Rich
Rich got sick last night.
Speaker 2 (01:55):
Oh you let us know about seventeen minutes ago.
Speaker 3 (01:58):
Cool, We're like, man, Rich is running late this morning.
I then he sent a message on I'm dying.
Speaker 1 (02:02):
Man, I'm dying.
Speaker 4 (02:04):
I'm gonna I'm gonna fuel on NIQ will and go
back to bed.
Speaker 2 (02:06):
You know, I just want to say TV, between you
and I and everybody listening, they were like, maybe there
was one for sure, maybe two, but I don't think too.
I think only one times that while I was in
the depths of hell going through chemotherapy, right, I think
I called out sick one time, and you guys gave
(02:28):
me so much crap. I think specifically Rich because I
was like my throat, I was like my throat. Herd's
like I can't talk. He gave me so much crap. Well,
I was going through chemo.
Speaker 4 (02:41):
Yeah, this is this is all true, and I just
felt like you just drew a line in the sand.
Battle lines have been drawn. However, we still believe you
were going somewhere when you called out, because I think
like the next day you you like went on a
trip somewhere.
Speaker 1 (02:56):
Is that true?
Speaker 4 (02:57):
Yeah, it was literally the next day you you were like, oh,
by the way, I'm in Mexico hiking.
Speaker 1 (03:02):
I think it was maybe a few days before I
went to Puerto Rico.
Speaker 4 (03:05):
Yeah. Yeah, So we were like, she clearly needed the
extra day to either pack or got on a play
came to work.
Speaker 2 (03:12):
In between, I was homesick.
Speaker 3 (03:14):
I vaguely remember you.
Speaker 2 (03:16):
Guys are still and TD are responsible for you guys today.
Speaker 3 (03:20):
Yeah, you're the voice of the of the men. I
guess I am responsible for us guys. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (03:26):
So Fletch he went to a wedding, he had a
scheduled day off, and then Rich out today. But Cat
and I just holding things down. I went out and
partied last night where Cat did not at it. Yeah,
not like you, TD, It's really not. It's really not. Also,
it's a bar card Friday, brought to you by Keg
and Bottle ten locations all throughout San Diego County. And
(03:48):
Cat doesn't drink, so it looks like I'm drinking alone,
which may need a therapist. One one five KGB Bigger,
TD and Fletch On a wonderful Friday morning. As we
are getting things kicked off here on a bar card Friday,
brought to you by Keg and Bottle and Cat. That's
where I was last night. Actually, I went to Kane
b b Strow last night. They had this this event.
I think these are new. They've done steak and bourbon
(04:11):
events before, huh, and we have been to them as
a show. You have not attended one of these, Well,
you don't drink or eat steaks. No, I don't, but
I won't say that.
Speaker 2 (04:21):
This is the first time you guys have gone to
one of these since I've known you, I haven't heard
you guys talk about one of these.
Speaker 3 (04:26):
Yeah, so this it was a steak and bourbon night.
But also cigars.
Speaker 4 (04:30):
I don't smoke either, so I mean I don't either
a night for me unless people are handing out cigars.
Speaker 3 (04:37):
At a steak and bourbon event, then I will then
I will partake.
Speaker 2 (04:40):
So you were there last night until what time?
Speaker 1 (04:42):
TD?
Speaker 4 (04:42):
I was there until about just about ten o'clock I
guess I got there about six late night.
Speaker 1 (04:48):
For you in general, yes, yeah, and definitely on a weeknight, yeah,
because I still.
Speaker 4 (04:52):
Have been an hour drive home from there, although I
got home quickly, not sure how. But anyways, Fletch was
there as well, So it was Fletcher and I hanging out, uh,
and we enjoyed some whiskey and some gin and vodka
actually from.
Speaker 3 (05:06):
Our friend William H. Macy That's who was there. So fun.
Speaker 4 (05:10):
It was actually an absolute blast. A lot of other
people there there were it was, Yeah, there were a
handful there. So the they have a little room in
the back and the room was filled.
Speaker 3 (05:20):
Woody Creek Distillers. That's William H. Macy's wares that he
that he hawks.
Speaker 4 (05:26):
He came in here several weeks ago on a barcart Friday,
which we made a Thursday to accommodate schedules. But man,
it worked it again, you know, got to taste them
all and then hear stories from from Bill as he
wants to be called, and then he pulled out a ukulele.
Speaker 2 (05:42):
Wait, William H. Macy likes to go buy Bill and
he plays a ukulele.
Speaker 3 (05:45):
That is correct, that's correct.
Speaker 4 (05:46):
So yeah, first name bassist Bill and his sidekick Paul,
his helper there from Woody Creek was was there with
Paul is much much much munch, much much cooler than
I am or will ever be or fletch indeed. Oh yeah, yeah,
yeah man. But he sang a few songs and he
was funny. Yeah, he's It was great. I'm telling you,
(06:08):
it was a good time. The next time one shows up,
you're coming along. You're coming along. Even though you don't
drink or eat steak or smoke cigars, you just gotta
be there in experience.
Speaker 1 (06:17):
So just to hang out with you guys, it's fun.
Speaker 3 (06:19):
It's fun.
Speaker 4 (06:20):
Also, the drinks come real fast. We could, we could
kind of slammer pretty quick. So you know, it gets
it gets dicey.
Speaker 1 (06:29):
Yeah, you guys need me there as your d d.
Speaker 3 (06:32):
That's right, that's right.
Speaker 4 (06:33):
Luckily, Sarah, my wife was there, so yeah, yeah, so
she got to take care of me and tell me
to stop.
Speaker 3 (06:39):
Being an idiot.
Speaker 1 (06:40):
Wow every three minutes or something.
Speaker 4 (06:42):
Yeah, you know, the usual, the US, the US now today,
barcard Friday.
Speaker 3 (06:46):
We don't have Rich here, we don't have Fletch here.
Speaker 4 (06:48):
Cat, you don't drink, which means I will be drinking
alone on a bar card Friday.
Speaker 2 (06:53):
That I mean, that could be taking one of two ways.
Speaker 1 (06:56):
TD.
Speaker 2 (06:57):
That could be taken as like, ah, you're just having
fun word by yourself.
Speaker 3 (07:01):
Yeah in the morning.
Speaker 2 (07:03):
You need.
Speaker 4 (07:06):
Yeah, well, I mean you're gonna take all those things
could be true. It's uh, it's gonna be a wild
one here. So it's it's listen, We're fine, We're fine,
We're fine. Everybody, just hang along for the ride here.
Rich out today, Fletchill. Fletch will be back on Monday
with Rich we think, but that doesn't stop us from
diving into the deep dark, moist.
Speaker 3 (07:31):
A bit slimy.
Speaker 4 (07:34):
The dirt on the walls are it's gooey, slips through
your fingers, it's gross, but it's there. It's the Fletch Zone.
We're getting into it next, Okay, Stevie, sh Stevie. Just
the studio is very quiet, too quiet. Rich is gone.
(07:54):
Fletch is gone cat wildly uncomfortable alone across the desk
from where he sits alone in his thoughts. I'm talking
about myself in the third person. Now, there are several
empty chairs without the boys here, absolutely nobody to laugh
at my inappropriate jokes.
Speaker 3 (08:15):
Yep, just me and the old boss hanging out here
in the studio. Hello, darkness, my old friend. We've got
to go and hear it again.
Speaker 4 (08:28):
It's scary, gross Bud, it's our home. Now let's enter
the flood where apparently I'm talking sports man again, the
least qualified in the room to do this. But here
we go. The Little League World Series was kicking off yesterday.
(08:48):
Oh yes, Sweetwater Bonita, they're in it. Here we go,
no brain delay, it didn't happen. So yeah, it was delayed.
All eight games in the Little League World Series were
pushed to today.
Speaker 3 (09:01):
So Sweetwater will play at noon.
Speaker 4 (09:04):
I believe this is Eastern time, so nine o'clock this morning,
this thing. Maybe they may be playing ball here and
the show kicks off into Barcard Friday.
Speaker 2 (09:13):
Oh they're playing on the East coast.
Speaker 3 (09:15):
Yeah, it's in Pennsylvania.
Speaker 1 (09:17):
Oh I see, I see, Okay, that's.
Speaker 3 (09:18):
Where it's at.
Speaker 4 (09:19):
Yeah, so yeah, you know cool, we'll cross your fingers
let's go, which means pretty.
Speaker 1 (09:27):
I think benita is pretty in Espaniel. Yes, how about that?
See what does it mean in Italiano?
Speaker 2 (09:33):
I don't know if it even is a word in Italian.
Speaker 4 (09:36):
It's probably is Friday, close to the same if it is.
Speaker 6 (09:39):
Man.
Speaker 4 (09:40):
NFL preseason Week two kicked off last night. We had
Raiders and Texans. Actually the Raiders were behind by seventeen points.
They had a last minute comeback drive Aidan O'Connell had
a little quarterback sneak there.
Speaker 3 (09:52):
They win twenty two to twenty.
Speaker 4 (09:54):
And then the Niners and the Chargers played, and it
was the Niners defense and special teams.
Speaker 3 (09:59):
That looked amazing.
Speaker 4 (10:00):
They ended up just beating the snot out of the
Chargers forty one seventeen. Justin Herbert and Rock Perdy did start.
They only played the opening drive, which both ended in punts.
Found it's hard for me to get into preseason.
Speaker 1 (10:13):
I don't even I don't watch pretimes in at all because.
Speaker 2 (10:16):
It's it's usually like the B squad and it's just
not it doesn't really matter.
Speaker 4 (10:22):
Yeah, and even if it is the A squad, they're
usually playing the B squad. I mean it's hard to
look at anybody and go yep, that's that's. That's my takeaway. Now,
Rich being a former professional football player, may look at
this differently. He may be able to say, oh, yeah,
the coaches are looking for xyz uh huh.
Speaker 3 (10:39):
For me, it don't mean nothing.
Speaker 1 (10:41):
Yeah the viewers.
Speaker 2 (10:42):
I did see people though on their stories last night
they were actually watching the games, and I was like,
I have a preseason started.
Speaker 4 (10:48):
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah start what season has started? And
it's back in town as of tomorrow SDFC. They're going
to be playing the Colorado Rapid seven thirty kickoff?
Speaker 3 (10:58):
Is that the right term?
Speaker 1 (10:59):
Yes? Kickoff?
Speaker 4 (11:00):
I mean it's not hands I know that much. I
know that much. Not But is that why you like soccer?
Because it's not handsy? That is the reason, I guess sure.
But yeah, they lost to Portland on Wednesday night, won three,
so they and that was, I guess a pretty big game.
I think we were tied up in points with Portland
before that. Wait, on the does the season hinge on
(11:22):
points not wins?
Speaker 2 (11:24):
It is point based, yes, because if you tie, you
split the points for the game.
Speaker 4 (11:29):
So they could win the whole thing if they just
score twenty goals tonight.
Speaker 1 (11:34):
No, no, no, no.
Speaker 2 (11:35):
Because a game is worth I'm not sure how many
point I think it's three points, and if I could
be wrong on that, I'm not quite sure. But if
you it doesn't matter how many goals you score in
the game. It's a win is worth a certain amount
of points. A loss is worth you know, and a
tie you split it.
Speaker 4 (11:51):
Do you know what I found watching sports just as
a fan. If you watch whatever different you watch football,
you watch soccer, you watch tennis.
Speaker 3 (12:00):
They all have a bunch of different rules.
Speaker 4 (12:01):
There's so many rules to keep it that's really hard,
really hard to keep it all together. Padres in town. Here,
twins are in town taking on the Padres six forty
start time tonight. Padre is still one game ahead of
the Diamondbacks in the wild card race.
Speaker 3 (12:15):
So okay, every game matters.
Speaker 4 (12:17):
This is kind of crunch time in baseball, which is
it's fun.
Speaker 1 (12:21):
It is fun.
Speaker 2 (12:22):
I would like to I haven't gone to a game
in a while. Maybe I'll try to go this weekend.
Speaker 3 (12:25):
I'm I'm going next weekend.
Speaker 1 (12:28):
Oh you are in town.
Speaker 3 (12:29):
I think it's next weekend. When the Yankees are in town.
Speaker 2 (12:32):
Oh fun. Are the Yankees good right now?
Speaker 4 (12:34):
The Yankees are winning currently, but they they had a
pretty long stretch where they weren't great. However, the Yankees
are still on top of that.
Speaker 1 (12:44):
The Pottery is out a big stretch where they.
Speaker 3 (12:45):
Weren't too either.
Speaker 4 (12:46):
I mean, I can the Yankees win the whole thing?
It doesn't look like it. I mean, the Podreys are hot.
Padres are hot, So let's let's let's go Padres. Come on,
come on? You know who else is hot? Fletch like,
actually physically hot. I have a question for you, Cat.
It's well, I don't know. I don't know's. I don't
(13:06):
know if it's concerning or what. I just I guess
it's puzzling. It's something I never heard of before Fletch
brought it up yesterday. I didn't google anything or look
for anything, but I have a question about his wardrobe.
Oh no, you're the perfect person as Chili peppers on
a Friday morning. It's one of went five KGB Big
Rich TV and Fletch Rich out today. Sick Fletch up
(13:29):
in Sonoma, I think is where he went for a wedding.
Speaker 2 (13:32):
Yeah, I think he's probably on the waist. Flying early
this morning, he.
Speaker 3 (13:35):
Said, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 4 (13:36):
I said it was hopping on a plane, a quick
jaunt up north, you know, to gallivant in the wineries
and run around dressed up. Now, yesterday he laid out
what his wardrobe was going to be a cat.
Speaker 3 (13:47):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (13:48):
Now, he said he was just wearing a button up
shirt and a tie with some slecks. I think that's fine.
I think he's fine.
Speaker 1 (13:55):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (13:55):
It definitely depends on the vibe of the wedding, right,
Like some weddings are black tie events.
Speaker 4 (14:00):
If it said black tie, he's way under dressed, way underdressed,
but he's not in the wedding.
Speaker 2 (14:05):
Yeah, And if he knows what the what the accepted
wardrobe is, then yeah, I think he's aptly dressed.
Speaker 4 (14:13):
Okay, except he said as an undershirt, he's wearing some
kind of shirt that absorbs all of his sweaty it
has it has pads in the armpit.
Speaker 3 (14:24):
He have you ever heard of a shirt?
Speaker 2 (14:28):
I had no idea that this existed, And he said
that he's been wearing them for years.
Speaker 4 (14:32):
Is it a is it some kind of medical shirt?
I tried to google. I can't find the shirt.
Speaker 2 (14:37):
He told us the name of what it was. I
can't think of what it was.
Speaker 3 (14:40):
Man, oh man, I don't know what. I've never heard
of this in my life.
Speaker 2 (14:44):
And shirt with armpat armpit.
Speaker 4 (14:47):
It's pads armpit to absorb sweat his excess sweat. Now
I think it's I think it's a noble act that
he's doing because, let's gets pretty sweaty.
Speaker 2 (14:57):
Yeah, he is a sweaty guy.
Speaker 3 (14:59):
He's a sweaty guy. Now.
Speaker 4 (15:00):
I was going to question this wardrobe. But then you said,
I'm cold. You grabbed the blanket you wrapped up, and
you said, I almost had to go grab my emergency jacket.
Speaker 2 (15:13):
I do keep an emergency jacket in my office.
Speaker 3 (15:15):
Okay, you have.
Speaker 4 (15:16):
An emergent emergency jacket in your office. You have an
emergency jacket.
Speaker 1 (15:19):
In your car? Mm hmm.
Speaker 2 (15:21):
Actually in my car, I only have an emergency flannel
and emergency rain jacket.
Speaker 4 (15:27):
So do you label them emergency so that way you
know these stay here always?
Speaker 1 (15:33):
Yeah, my mind, I guess yeah, not just I'm gonna leave.
Speaker 4 (15:36):
A flannel in here or an extra flannel in the car. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (15:39):
And by the way, I use my emergency flannel often. Okay,
every time cold, I used my emergency jacket in my office.
Speaker 1 (15:46):
Last week I had emergency it was cold, Okay.
Speaker 4 (15:48):
Your emergency jacket. You then said, it's cute. It's a
purple parka.
Speaker 1 (15:53):
Yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 3 (15:55):
So are you expecting an emergency snowstorm? It's gonna happen.
Speaker 4 (15:59):
Why Why would you have a park out in your
pa It wasn't even really.
Speaker 2 (16:02):
My choice of jacket to have in there, but I
wore it to work one day. This was like probably
two years ago, and ended up not needing to wear
it anymore in the day.
Speaker 1 (16:12):
The day heat it up as it does.
Speaker 2 (16:14):
You know, it starts out cold here, as it does
it starts out cold in San Diego, and then all
of a sudden, Yeah, well, especially like the fall, you know,
it's cold in morning and then it's hot in the
in the afternoon.
Speaker 3 (16:25):
That's hard to dress for.
Speaker 2 (16:26):
I hung my jacket up on the back of my
office door, and then I was like, you know what,
I'm going to keep this here because sometimes I get cold.
Speaker 3 (16:35):
How many places do you have emergency clothing?
Speaker 2 (16:39):
Oh, oh my gosh, it's not just clothes TD Like
I I hope that other women actually will call in
because we keep things scattered around in case of emergency,
like chaps chapstick, for example, you.
Speaker 4 (16:49):
Have a chapstick at someone's house and or location.
Speaker 2 (16:54):
You know, not in somebody's house, but you have your
you have your car chopstick, you have your purse chap
you have your bathroom chapstick, you have your work chapstick.
Speaker 1 (17:02):
If you leave chapstick in the car liquefied, you could,
I guess, Yeah, so what do you do?
Speaker 3 (17:06):
Do you have an emergency ice chest?
Speaker 2 (17:09):
But yeah, you keep things. You keep things around because
you never know, like maybe you're you're gonna change your
purses and then you don't have your chapstick. That would
that would become emergent.
Speaker 3 (17:18):
It would become an emergency.
Speaker 4 (17:20):
Uh. I guess you put it out there a call
out to the women, how many emergency places do you have?
Speaker 2 (17:28):
With the question It could be a jacket, it could
be a chapstick.
Speaker 4 (17:30):
Eight eight five one one five to find cats on
her let's go one on one five kg be big
rich td in fletch.
Speaker 3 (17:38):
Apparently cat has a.
Speaker 4 (17:40):
Multitude of items just strewn around the country, maybe at
least the western side of the country, just in case
there is an emergency.
Speaker 3 (17:47):
And she said of course, women all.
Speaker 1 (17:49):
Over the planet do the women in the normally prepared.
Speaker 2 (17:52):
We keep chapsticks, you keep cash, sometimes, you keep jackets.
You keep things around different places in case you happen
to need them.
Speaker 4 (17:59):
Well, you put out the cat signal and it worked
because Chris on our way to work here driving to Carlsbad, Chris,
you said, oh, you have so many emergency items everywhere.
Speaker 3 (18:10):
What do you have screwed about? Chris?
Speaker 6 (18:12):
Okay, so just on the chapstick side alone, I have
like three at work, multiple ones at home, a couple
of my car. But the other thing two is sunglasses.
Speaker 1 (18:22):
Oh yeah, I guess that makes sense.
Speaker 3 (18:24):
That makes sense. Do you have an emergency parker in
your office? No?
Speaker 6 (18:29):
I am from the East Coast originally, so I kind
of tend to be able to deal with it a
little bit longer. But I do have a sweater at work, okay,
very cold sometimes, and I have a heater under my desk,
which actually used the other day.
Speaker 2 (18:42):
Yes, you don't need a parker when you's got a heater.
Speaker 3 (18:45):
How about a foot massage or do you have one
of those? I know, I doubt well you're missing out.
They're missing out.
Speaker 2 (18:52):
No, it's so true though, good point with the sunglasses.
I have at least three pairs in my car that
just stay there, and then you have your ones at
your house. You have your know, you keep them in
different places.
Speaker 6 (19:01):
Yeah, you have to because you forget where you put them, or.
Speaker 1 (19:04):
You just need them. So I think being a.
Speaker 6 (19:07):
Mom, you get your preps for this when you have
little kids. You have to have emergency of everything somewhere.
Speaker 3 (19:13):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (19:13):
Yeah, As you get.
Speaker 6 (19:14):
Older, it just transitions into what I need is an
emergency item?
Speaker 4 (19:19):
That makes sense. I do recall now. So at one
point I had to ask my wife for something. I
don't know what it was, it's something, and she said,
I don't know. She's looking through a purse, digging through
a purse, and she goes, oh, I have a stapler.
He pulls out a stapler out of her purse. Why
why would my wife carry a stapler?
Speaker 3 (19:34):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (19:35):
It's there emergency staple.
Speaker 4 (19:36):
Apparently apparently emergency you know, paper binding device.
Speaker 3 (19:40):
We have to have that.
Speaker 4 (19:40):
Hey, Chris, thanks for the call, your rockstar, your hero,
safe drive to work, happy Friday.
Speaker 2 (19:45):
And thanks for the idea. I think I might get
a heater to put here in the office.
Speaker 3 (19:48):
That's good. That's good.
Speaker 4 (19:49):
You know why because there's plenty of outlets, plenty of outlets. Yes, Indeed,
here on a bar card Friday one one five kg
be it's big, rich TD and Fletch and Kat you
ran out of the room home to go get your
emergency jacket.
Speaker 1 (20:02):
Yep, that's the hell of a jacket. It's a big jacket.
Speaker 4 (20:06):
I mean that thing has to be rated for negative
thirty degrees. It's about twice as thick as a down comforter.
Speaker 2 (20:15):
Well, that's part of the reason that I was able
to leave it here at the office is because I.
Speaker 3 (20:20):
Never will need that.
Speaker 1 (20:21):
I don't have many opportunities to wear such a thick
jacket in sandy.
Speaker 3 (20:24):
Maybe on your winter hike and Banff you'll need that.
Speaker 2 (20:28):
Didn't do that last I did a summer hiking band
last summer. But I did already have to take it
off because my office is as far away in the
building as you can get, so I had to hustle
I to watch speed. So now I'm a little sweaty.
Speaker 4 (20:40):
It happens, and you're gonna have to get one of
those shirts that Fletch wears to weddings.
Speaker 3 (20:43):
Yeah, the ones that mop up all the sweat.
Speaker 2 (20:45):
But I told you TD that women keep emergency things available.
Speaker 4 (20:51):
Listen, the phones have lit up here defending your honor
of all the emergency things. Now my wife, I guess
I don't know if she has emergency things everywhere.
Speaker 3 (20:59):
I feel like she's handsome to me.
Speaker 4 (21:00):
I have to put all of her stuff in my pockets,
like I'm the emergency place. But Roxy out in Tijuana
calls in, Roxy, how you doing this morning?
Speaker 1 (21:11):
Good morning?
Speaker 4 (21:11):
How are you cat?
Speaker 1 (21:12):
It's so great to have you back.
Speaker 2 (21:14):
Oh, thank you, Roxy. It's good to be back.
Speaker 3 (21:16):
It really is.
Speaker 4 (21:17):
It really is good to have her back because now
things can run smoothly and other people can tweet. Yeah,
I'm need you.
Speaker 1 (21:25):
Guys, tweet a little bit.
Speaker 4 (21:26):
Roxy, you have you have emergency items you keep all
over the place.
Speaker 1 (21:31):
I do.
Speaker 6 (21:32):
I have like a little bag in my well at
work and then in my car.
Speaker 1 (21:37):
So they could be deodorant, Uh, definitely, extra perfume, uh, toothbrush, toothpaste, haircliffs,
hair ties.
Speaker 2 (21:45):
Oh, Roxy, an emergency boat get ready back wow?
Speaker 4 (21:49):
Wow?
Speaker 1 (21:49):
Yeah, yeah, it's to get ready bag. If they say, hey,
you know.
Speaker 4 (21:54):
Let's go do something.
Speaker 1 (21:56):
I have extra spare clothes, if I have it all,
that's smart.
Speaker 2 (22:00):
Do you live in TJ. And do you work in
San Diego? So did you cross the border every day?
Speaker 3 (22:05):
Correct?
Speaker 2 (22:06):
Correct?
Speaker 6 (22:06):
Yeah, I used to live like in Riverside and commute
to Orange County every day, so I had a four
hour commute.
Speaker 1 (22:15):
I'm very used to it.
Speaker 3 (22:16):
You know what's cool.
Speaker 4 (22:16):
It's a four hour commute, Cat, but it's only thirty
six miles.
Speaker 3 (22:20):
It's really fine, really fun.
Speaker 2 (22:22):
Depending on depending on the border wait times that day,
you could have a long commute too, So it is
I mean, you kind of do need to keep an
emergency bag because it's not like you're gonna you know,
you can't say, oh, let me go home real quick
and get ready, like if somebody invites you to something,
you've got to be ready to go.
Speaker 3 (22:37):
Exactly.
Speaker 1 (22:38):
And snacks help too.
Speaker 4 (22:41):
You have so many items, you're gonna have to have
a suitcase, see you have. You have so many items
that you carry along with you. We appreciate you. You know,
it's safe travels across the border, I guess this morning,
with all of your extra belongings. But man, Cat, I
mean I stand corrected. You're supposed to have emergency things.
Speaker 2 (23:00):
Why do you think you know why my trunk is full.
I keep something for everything. Any sport you want to play,
we can go in the trunk and we can get
after it.
Speaker 3 (23:07):
There's never a moment, there's never, ever, ever a moment.
Speaker 4 (23:10):
That I think, gosh, if just if we had an
emergency soccer ball, we could break out a soccer game
right now. Extra sunglasses, He's got him everywhere. He wears
sunglasses at night because he has an emergency pair.
Speaker 1 (23:22):
That's why you keep.
Speaker 2 (23:23):
Him around to you, just in case you need to
put someone at night you weren't planning on that.
Speaker 4 (23:27):
You can bring them with wear's sunglasses at night. Besides,
Corey Hart.
Speaker 1 (23:30):
I have.
Speaker 2 (23:32):
If you've had a long day and you've had a
long night and you're still going, you're still going.
Speaker 4 (23:35):
You're at the club, You're still you're still dancing. See
there's there's where you got me at the club.
Speaker 2 (23:41):
At the club.
Speaker 4 (23:44):
Club, I was just drinking whiskey, you know, with with
Frank Allagher Woody Creek whiskey. A big deal, no big deal.
It is a Barcard Friday, brought to you back Keg
and Bottle ten locations all throughout San Diego County. Cat
you're gonna be at sea World this weekend tomorrow, Uncle Cracker.
Speaker 3 (24:00):
Right, that's right now.
Speaker 4 (24:00):
If you'd like to go see Cat and Uncle Cracker
and SeaWorld animals. We have tickets were given away here
coming up after trending. We got a four pack of
tickets we're given away, so you want to make sure
you are tuned in. Also, the Dark Side came to town.
Darth Vader here.
Speaker 3 (24:19):
In San Diego.
Speaker 4 (24:22):
Yeah, no, no, no, no, just here advocating to catch
the rebel scum.
Speaker 3 (24:26):
We'll explain in trending.
Speaker 4 (24:27):
Next one trending with TD. I don't know if he
saw a cat, but Prince Harry and Megan Markle they're
out of here. They're done with the US, seriously. They're
moving back to England.
Speaker 3 (24:40):
I said.
Speaker 4 (24:40):
They want to be closer to King Charles. Apparently there's
an insider that said money has also played a big
role in the decision of moving, and as of yesterday,
Prince Harry lost a lawsuit that he had against Dailymail
dot Com. Whatever was said there, he has to pay
eleven million dollars.
Speaker 2 (24:59):
No way, why does he have to pay I don't know,
I don't.
Speaker 4 (25:03):
Know what what I didn't see what the lawsuit was.
You had to write a check for eleven million bucks.
And then they're they're getting out of Dodge, So I
guess they're keeping their house over in La or Montasito where.
Speaker 2 (25:12):
They giving down so they don't have to pay the eleven.
Speaker 3 (25:14):
I don't think that's so.
Speaker 4 (25:17):
And pretty high profile guys, you think you'd always have
that eleven million dollars hanging over you, man oh man.
Speaker 3 (25:25):
But yeah, they're out of here, so very sad.
Speaker 4 (25:28):
A video of Amazon workers has been circling the internet.
Speaker 3 (25:32):
Maybe you've seen this.
Speaker 4 (25:33):
They were coagulating at a park here in San Diego.
It was Crown Point Park. Okay, did you did you
see this at all?
Speaker 6 (25:41):
No?
Speaker 2 (25:41):
But I know the park.
Speaker 3 (25:43):
So that's so.
Speaker 4 (25:44):
There was a bunch of Amazon trucks that went over
to Crown Point Park and just parked there, a ton
of them, and then they started exchanging packages with a
bunch of Amazon employees. What do you mean, caught on
video by exchanging like handing over packages. So apparently there's
a program that's being launched here in San Diego. It's
already active in places like New York or Los Angeles,
(26:05):
and it's called the Walker program, which street Walker seems
like a bad name for these Amazon people. It's just
literally people on foot delivering packages.
Speaker 3 (26:15):
Got it.
Speaker 4 (26:15):
So it's easier for someone to walk around with a
bunch of little packages and go upstairs and make a
bunch of deliveries the.
Speaker 1 (26:21):
Car drive have a truck that goes s dowared into.
Speaker 4 (26:24):
Work, right, except these Amazon trucks are not supposed to
be doing this at public parks because they're public parks.
That's where you're supposed to be laying down watching a
DJ doing paint by numbers. Not everybody does that. I'm
fred that's what that? What's on the agenda for tonight?
Speaker 1 (26:40):
I'm not sure yet what.
Speaker 2 (26:41):
I'm doing tonight? So what people are upset to say?
Speaker 3 (26:44):
People are upset now.
Speaker 4 (26:45):
They were called out by by city officials saying what
are you doing? We do not have a contract for.
Speaker 1 (26:51):
This to operate in a public park.
Speaker 4 (26:53):
And so Amazon has said, sorry, this is literally the
quote we screwed up. That is the quote from Amazon.
So they screwed up. They said they're not going to
do it anymore.
Speaker 3 (27:05):
I guess we'll see.
Speaker 4 (27:05):
I guess what. Yeah, but boots on the ground catching
them there? Speaking of boots, big old black boots from
Darth Vader. This actually happened a couple days ago at
a city council meeting here in San Diego, which is
now going viral. I didn't see this before, but you
said you saw this cat. You saw this clip already.
Speaker 2 (27:22):
Yeah, I saw clip last night, like it just came
out of Darth Vader speaking at um.
Speaker 1 (27:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (27:27):
Yeah, yeah, at the city council meeting.
Speaker 4 (27:29):
Yeah, Darth Vader of an unknown man I'm assuming, walks
up in full.
Speaker 3 (27:34):
Darth Vader attire.
Speaker 4 (27:35):
Uh huh and starts doing the Darth Vader you know
voice breath into the microphone. It then says that he
loves the flock cameras that have been put up all
around the city and the county.
Speaker 2 (27:50):
Now, the flock cameras are cameras that aren't are They
on traffic lights and it's recording everything at all hours.
Speaker 3 (27:57):
They can be all over the place.
Speaker 1 (27:59):
Okay, not just on traffic lights. They're just around the city.
Speaker 4 (28:02):
Yep.
Speaker 3 (28:02):
They can be on a telephone pole.
Speaker 2 (28:05):
I don't know what they look like. I haven't seen them.
Speaker 4 (28:06):
Have you seen I have seen some of them. They
almost look like have you ever seen a game camera.
It's a flat kind of a box. Those are the
ones I have seen, and you know, there are all
over the place, not just in San Diego, They're all
over the country.
Speaker 2 (28:21):
Yeah. I have seen that people are upset about, like
it feels like we're under surveillance.
Speaker 4 (28:24):
All the time, being watched all over the place, which,
you know, I could see the benefit of this. I
could see the downside of this. This is not cool.
Now there are cameras all over the place. And Darth
Vader really loved it. He was joking and he said
that he loved the fact that we're able to follow
and surveil the rebelscum.
Speaker 1 (28:45):
This is it.
Speaker 2 (28:45):
I feel like, even though this is new to the US,
I feel like in London, don't is that CCTV is
a thing. There's cameras everywhere.
Speaker 3 (28:53):
Yeah, yeah, I mean yes, but I don't know.
Speaker 2 (28:55):
There's obviously pros and cons to that, right, Like you're
able to maybe catch crime or see things that if
you're trying to solve a case, say someone was abducted, Yeah,
you can keep people a little bit safer from that.
But also it's like we do have a right to privacy.
If you're on public I mean, sure, somebody could take
a video of you at any point if you're out
in public. But do we really need the government watching
(29:15):
us at all hours?
Speaker 3 (29:17):
The age old question where we drive it away?
Speaker 4 (29:19):
Yeah, exactly? Do we want big brother hovering over us?
And and I think the other thing about these flog
cameras is they're they're kind of hidden. It's not like
it's not like a camera up on a street post. Yeah,
or the the CCTV that you were talking about that
you have cameras hanging off of buildings. So these are
these are kind of sneaky. Sneaky, these can black cameras
hitting cameras.
Speaker 2 (29:38):
Yeah, it's it's I feel when people wear the meda glasses, like.
Speaker 4 (29:41):
Are you recording me or not? Myfe told me I
was allowed to buy those Theah, they're weird. She said
that those are PERV glasses. Well, yeah, you would probably
do some weird things with them TV.
Speaker 3 (29:50):
Why would I? Why would I?
Speaker 2 (29:53):
I would not let you wear them in the studio.
I would be afraid that you were filming on.
Speaker 3 (29:57):
We'd be able to post so much stuff.
Speaker 4 (29:59):
We have so much stuff for social we could probably
post a winner for SeaWorld San Diego, that's right, Bayside bands,
brew and Barbecue, Smokey Barbecue, Ice, cold Craft Brews, live concerts,
Uncle Cracker. This weekend, Cat gonna be there, Still it
gonna be there next weekend. The all new summer nighttime
animal experiences. That got going on that drone spectacular of
(30:20):
four pack of tickets right now to color number ten.
You go to SeaWorld San Diego dot com if you
want to grab an annual pass or maybe buy some
additional tickets, or maybe if you don't win, if you're
not calling number ten, you could do that. Eighty eight
five seven one five color number ten. Right now you're
going one one five kg beats bigger siding. Fletch on
a bar cart Friday, whoa just cat and myself? Yes today, Well,
(30:44):
I mean just as far as just the two of
us rich out sick today. Fletch gallivanting up north at
a wedding. He goes to a lot of weddings. He's
he goes to the second most weddings.
Speaker 2 (30:57):
Just turned thirty, so he is in the era of
people getting married. I remember a few years ago when
I was thirty, I was like going to so many weddings,
and usually with the weddings. There's a bachelorette party, there's
a bridal shower, there's all of these things. Maybe you're
a bridesmaid in that wedding, and it is exhausting to
the point where, now in my late thirties, I say
no to those weddings unless unless.
Speaker 3 (31:19):
It's one of my I love weddings.
Speaker 2 (31:20):
I love them too, But unless it's one of my
really close friends, or it's very convenient for me.
Speaker 4 (31:25):
To go, I'm not gonna go. How close does a
friend have to be if it was if it was
my daughter's wedding, would you go if.
Speaker 1 (31:34):
It was convenient to go, yes, Like, if.
Speaker 3 (31:37):
It was it has to be in North Park.
Speaker 2 (31:39):
No, it doesn't have to be in North Park, but
it has to be in like San Diego or San
Diego County.
Speaker 1 (31:43):
If it was a trip, I probably would not go.
Just to be honest.
Speaker 3 (31:46):
What if it was in Los Angeles County too far?
Speaker 1 (31:50):
Maybe? Wow?
Speaker 4 (31:51):
Oh wow, I would say. I would say, we're pretty close.
I mean as far as I mean, you're like my
sister you and I Yeah, yeah, but then but so are.
Speaker 3 (32:00):
Like an aunt.
Speaker 2 (32:03):
That Los Angeles County. Yes, I would go. If your
daughter was getting married.
Speaker 4 (32:08):
It was it was the southern southern southern part of
Los Angeles. Haaii, your daughter engaged GD No, she's not. Okay,
I just think I was gonna say, yeah.
Speaker 2 (32:15):
I feel like I feel like it has to it
has to check one of those boxes. It has to
be a very close friend if you're going to travel,
or if it's not a super close friend, but it
is a wedding you would like to attend, it has
to be.
Speaker 1 (32:25):
Convenient to go.
Speaker 4 (32:26):
So the way Fledge talks about his friend group, it's like,
there was I don't know, maybe five guys and five girls,
and they all married each other. This is what's in
my head, at least how he how he lays it out.
They all married each other. And now it's like a movie.
You know, they were watching the movie Tag where these
people grew up together and now they're all married and
now or getting married and starting their lives together.
Speaker 1 (32:47):
It's it is really fascinating because I didn't have that.
Speaker 3 (32:50):
Experience, like my no one did. That's my point.
Speaker 2 (32:53):
Yeah, the girlfriends that I grew up with, and many
of them I am I am still friends with. None
of us got married to people that we went to
school with.
Speaker 3 (33:01):
That's That's what I'm saying. I think this whole thing
is made up. I think he just wanted a day off.
Speaker 4 (33:06):
Do you think the Flech lying, well, I don't. I
mean just seems a little odd. I mean he's literally
he's like putting the down the plot of whatever, Sleepless
in Seattle or something. I don't even It's just it
doesn't seem possible.
Speaker 2 (33:18):
Yeah, I know, he grew up in a small in
a small little town Merced.
Speaker 4 (33:22):
He's like, ah, you know, just uh me and a
couple of guys, We're gonna go out to uh a
dude ranch in Arizona. Then we're just gonna, you know,
get some cattle back here.
Speaker 6 (33:33):
You know.
Speaker 1 (33:33):
I'm just I'm just a radio guy working.
Speaker 4 (33:35):
I'm like, wait, this is this is the plot the
city slickers.
Speaker 3 (33:38):
This is not your life. So it just feels the
same way I've.
Speaker 1 (33:41):
Never seen it, never seen city slickers.
Speaker 4 (33:43):
Uh good lord, cat, It's not a bar card Friday
with that little JBJ. It's one of one five kg
bets Big rich Tit and Fletch on a Friday, rolling
through a Friday, staring down the weekend. At this point,
whoo woo, uh man There was a video that's going
around had online pictures being shown all over of an
Amazon Delivery drone dropping a package.
Speaker 2 (34:06):
Which drones for delivery are not available here in San.
Speaker 4 (34:10):
Diego yet, right, not not yet. I don't think they've
rolled them out here yet. So they it was I
want to say, it was in sixty different cities they
were trying it out, and you know, smaller ones, well
I think it was. I think they started with much, much,
much smaller cities. Okay, so they didn't have to navigate
through large buildings, got it.
Speaker 3 (34:29):
That makes think that's how it started.
Speaker 4 (34:31):
But at any rate, this video that's that's going around
is due to the fact that the Amazon Delivery drone
delivered the package, huh, but delivered it into the pool
you have you seen this thing?
Speaker 2 (34:47):
Was it like an apartment pool?
Speaker 6 (34:49):
Was?
Speaker 1 (34:50):
No?
Speaker 4 (34:50):
No, it was somebody's backyards. So this drone, Now, these
drones are pretty big. I mean maybe half the size
of a car is what they look like. They're pretty large.
Speaker 2 (35:00):
To be to be able to hold some of these bigger.
Speaker 4 (35:02):
Heady package, right, and maybe maybe I'm wrong, and maybe
I have cameras.
Speaker 3 (35:06):
They oh they have cameras.
Speaker 1 (35:08):
Now see a body of water underneath it.
Speaker 4 (35:10):
So yeah, so this this thing flies over the pool
and it's got a trapdoor, you know, a trunk that
opens up out of the drops it on the ground.
Speaker 2 (35:18):
Which for some reason, okay, there's a trapdoor under the drone.
For some reason, I was imagining it as you know,
like those claw machines where you try to.
Speaker 1 (35:24):
Like win a stuffed animal.
Speaker 2 (35:26):
I was thinking it was going to be claws that
would hold the package and then just release the.
Speaker 3 (35:29):
Claw, as did I.
Speaker 4 (35:31):
So I'll tell you my disappointment when it was just
a trap door that dumps it down on the ground.
Also own order Crystal, man, that's not gonna make it now.
Speaker 1 (35:40):
Breakables for sure cannot be dropped by these draw.
Speaker 3 (35:42):
Unless it just dummed on me.
Speaker 4 (35:45):
Maybe the person did order Crystal and Amazon drone is
so smart that it went save his place in this pool,
dropped it in the water if it was dishes even
dropping in the water, Okay, that wasn't the water. That
wasn't the case at all. It was just it was
just a pure mistake. I do think it's pretty funny
when when the robots grew up, only because I know
the future is the robots are taking our job. So
(36:08):
it is it is nice at the moment to laugh
at them.
Speaker 2 (36:11):
Yeah, because honestly, they probably are a lot smarter than
a lot of people, which is really disgusting to say
and to realize that.
Speaker 1 (36:17):
That is true.
Speaker 3 (36:18):
You know, it's weird. When you said it, you took
your eye contact away from me.
Speaker 4 (36:22):
It's strange, very very strange.
Speaker 2 (36:29):
You would intentionally drop a package in a pool just
to be a er.
Speaker 3 (36:34):
Not somebody. No, I wouldn't do that, cat, Come on,
that's crazy talk.
Speaker 1 (36:37):
If you were an Amazon driver or like a FedEx driver,
I'd be the best.
Speaker 2 (36:41):
It was somebody who like their dog barked at you
or no way you would do something petty.
Speaker 3 (36:48):
No way, I wouldn't mess with their stuff.
Speaker 1 (36:50):
You're a petty guy. That's not That's not how I roll.
Speaker 3 (36:52):
I would.
Speaker 4 (36:53):
I would be a terrible delivery driver in the fact
that I would be winded after one house trying to
get up there to deliver something, so that it wouldn't
work out. But man, this person is just getting trolled
online because they're upset that the package was dropped in
the water. But now people are hammering the person who
owns the house because they thought Oh, well, you have
all this money, you have this beautiful pool, and I
(37:14):
just thought, man, I just wanted to invite over. The
pool looked amazing. It's a cascading waterfall. You don't even
go swimming TV. We have a beach that you never frequent.
Speaker 3 (37:23):
Well, they're stand at the beach. What a morning? What
a morning?
Speaker 4 (37:27):
Here on Biggert TD in flesh one one five KGB.
We have some comedy Royalty in studio cat Comedy Royalty.
I love it so much. In Practical Jokers, that's where
you know him from. And you know the name Joe Gatto.
Speaker 1 (37:41):
Lady gentlemen, I'm here, I'm here.
Speaker 3 (37:43):
Wow, this is so good man.
Speaker 7 (37:45):
You're gonna have one big guy in the place at
the time. So yeah, yeah, exactly, Big belly is nice
to see you.
Speaker 3 (37:52):
Man.
Speaker 4 (37:52):
You're gonna be out an American comedy company tonight and tomorrow night.
Speaker 3 (37:55):
You had a show last night as well.
Speaker 4 (37:57):
Yeah, so seven pm, nine pm shows tonight and tomorrow. Now,
I'm gonna tell you right now, these shows will sew out,
they will be gone, they won't happen.
Speaker 3 (38:05):
So if you want tickets you should probably go there
right now.
Speaker 4 (38:08):
Americancomedycode Dot com because they're gonna go fast. But it
looks like there's still tickets at the moment. But Joe Man,
you're doing stand up? Yeah, yeah, stand man. You've been
to a stand up for what five?
Speaker 3 (38:19):
Six years? Six years? Yeah, six years?
Speaker 1 (38:20):
Been great?
Speaker 4 (38:21):
Yeah, you like stand up more than the than the
reality show and practical jokes.
Speaker 7 (38:25):
I think it's the lie. I think it's the live
first of all. I don't like the way you said reality. Second,
I don't know how to put that. I just like
the live aspect. I love the you know, the making
an event and people coming out to have a good time.
Like there's always good energy about that. I've been performing
live since you know, two thousand, I've been you know,
we started as improv comedians and sketch comedy and stuff.
So the live aspects always fun. Give a reason for
(38:47):
people to come out and laugh is always important.
Speaker 2 (38:49):
Well, and people are usually drinking too, and there's probably
some good participation.
Speaker 7 (38:53):
It's fun because like people just really like, you know,
they get the babysitter, they come out, have a good
time and relax. It's it's important to blow of steam
and be able to smile. And I take that as
like my duty for the night to make sure we
have a good time.
Speaker 1 (39:05):
You're the babysitter.
Speaker 7 (39:06):
I have my babysitter. Everybody that came out good point.
Do you do you do a lot of crowd work?
Speaker 1 (39:11):
No, No, not at all. I'm not. I got scorned early.
That's not what I do. Yeah, I don't.
Speaker 7 (39:16):
I don't generally do it like I'm My style really
is like more like I grew up with Italian uncles
around the table telling stories and things, so I'm much
more of like a storyteller, which is a lot of
fun and it's it's been so fun just to get
up there. And I've had quite a story fifty years,
so it's a lot to talk about.
Speaker 3 (39:32):
Cool.
Speaker 1 (39:33):
What do you mean by you got scorn?
Speaker 4 (39:35):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (39:35):
Crowd work? Yeah.
Speaker 7 (39:36):
I had asked a little girl what her name was,
and then I asked how old she was, and she
was forty two.
Speaker 1 (39:42):
She wasn't a little girl, she was a little person.
Speaker 3 (39:44):
So yeah, I stopped. Yeah, you're super sweet.
Speaker 7 (39:47):
Yeah, it was a theater and I just said, who's
this little person over here? We thinking it was a
little girl because people bring their kids out to see me,
you know, which is so odd because in real life.
I don't say beep, I say the bad words. And
I thought it was a little girl and and then
she was like, you know, I'm Marie, And I said, oh,
how old are you? Sweethearted? He did forty two, and
my face just dropped and the whole place went oh.
I was like, look, we all I didn't no one knows.
(40:10):
But I got to meet her after. She was super sweet,
super excited. She had I Loved Joe shirt on and everything.
Speaker 1 (40:14):
It was really fun. So yeah, but so I was like,
I'm gonna stop talking to me.
Speaker 4 (40:19):
But you know, man, comedian Joe Ganto here in studio. Now,
you didn't practical jokers for for how many years? I
did it for ten years, nine seasons, over like three
hundred episodes, ten years pulling pranks on people. Is there
is there one that you love the most, one that
stands out? Yeah?
Speaker 7 (40:34):
I mean I get I get like so many deep
cuts from fans that have seen stuff. They'll say stuff
to me and I haven't remembered I've done right and
so long, you know, But.
Speaker 1 (40:42):
I think there's the classics that I love.
Speaker 4 (40:43):
You know.
Speaker 7 (40:44):
One of my favorites was and I had to break
tables as a I was a manager in a store
and they set up some tables to be breakaway tables.
Speaker 1 (40:51):
I had to find them by jumping on the tables.
Speaker 7 (40:53):
And so at some weren't the breakaway table, so I
would just land on people's pasta prima varus, like, oh sorry,
you can get ten percent of check. I'm the manager,
you know, so like so silly to do that, but
it was great just.
Speaker 1 (41:04):
To have, like, you know, so much fun.
Speaker 3 (41:06):
Do you ever mess around with people without a camera?
Speaker 7 (41:08):
I still do it now, I just I talk about
it my set. How I just I had this idea.
I was like, I haven't been on TV for six years.
I do things just for me. I was in an
uber and I was like, how funny would it be
if I just whispered to the guy when I got
to this drop off, I was like, you never saw
me and run and I did it. I did it
for no reason and it ended up being a one
way and he just drove by me ten seconds later.
(41:29):
It was like three stars. It was this idiot, you
know what I mean? Yeah, just for your own enjoyment.
Speaker 6 (41:34):
Me.
Speaker 1 (41:34):
I mean, you got to live life and have fun.
That's what it's about.
Speaker 2 (41:36):
We do need to do more things for our enjoyment,
Like it's not posting, you're not doing it for a
show for sure.
Speaker 7 (41:42):
And that one my kids, my son does stuff. We
were in a supermarket and he put a pineapple in
somebody's cart by himself, and.
Speaker 1 (41:48):
He's like giggling. I was like, what, he goes, look
at the pineapple. I said, what he goes, I put
it there.
Speaker 3 (41:53):
I was like, what are you doing?
Speaker 2 (41:55):
You know that pineapples?
Speaker 1 (41:57):
No, no, I.
Speaker 7 (41:58):
Don't think so, I don't think. I think it was
just funny, a funny fruit.
Speaker 1 (42:01):
It was like funny.
Speaker 3 (42:02):
It was just a hot mom every.
Speaker 1 (42:06):
It's just fun to.
Speaker 7 (42:07):
Like be able just to get out there and laugh
because we take it too serious and life gets hard,
so we gotta get out.
Speaker 3 (42:11):
There and do it fun. Fun story.
Speaker 4 (42:12):
We're actually not even live on the radio right now.
Just this, this interview is just for me, just for me. Great.

Speaker 4 (44:20):
Yeah, without a doubt, without a doubt, you'll get handed
at Mike Fox Show.
Speaker 2 (44:26):
I love that there's been a resurgence of all of
these artists and bands that we grew up listening to.
They're all like going on tour in the last couple
of years and it's fun.
Speaker 4 (44:36):
We know. It's it's as this generation's coming of age here.
Speaker 3 (44:40):
You know, we're now these we all have money.
Speaker 2 (44:42):
Now we're adults with money, we can actually go to shows.
Speaker 3 (44:45):
True, that is true. Yeah, we're the adults in the room.
So and if we don't.
Speaker 2 (44:49):
Any valleys have credit cards where we can make adult decisions, right,
see the people that we want to see.
Speaker 4 (44:54):
And go further into debts. That's how this works. That's
what being an adult is can win man. Speaking of
you know things from our childhood. Pizza Hut, Pizza Hut,
they said they were going to open up these retro stores,
so they were going to go back to the way
Pizza Hut was in the.
Speaker 1 (45:11):
Eighties and they're bringing back the salad bar at Pizza Hut.
Speaker 4 (45:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (45:15):
I love the Pizza Hut.
Speaker 4 (45:16):
Salad Barzza Pizza Hut as a kid was the spot
to go.
Speaker 3 (45:21):
I mean I loved Pizza Hut.
Speaker 2 (45:23):
My sister, my older sister, worked at Pizza Hut, so
we would go. My cousin and I would go and
we would like eat pizza for free. Obviously, we would
get the salad bar and then we would borrow her
car while she was while she was marking her shift.
Speaker 1 (45:37):
And we would go and do whatever we wanted to do.
Speaker 3 (45:39):
You would air quote borrow her car.
Speaker 2 (45:42):
Well, yeah, we had to get the keys from her
and we didn't steal her car while she was at work.
Speaker 1 (45:46):
We would take her car.
Speaker 4 (45:47):
Man the there's a retro Pizza Hut that they redid.
I mean, it's like you're walking back in time out
in Texas, and apparently there is a line around the
place way all day long.
Speaker 2 (45:57):
See the people yurn for what we used to have.
Speaker 3 (46:00):
See I agree, I think the same thing.
Speaker 4 (46:02):
Now. Pizza Hut in general has apparently changed their name.
As of right now, they're dropping the pizza part of
it and they're just going to be called Hut.
Speaker 1 (46:12):
Are you kidding me?
Speaker 3 (46:13):
No, I'm not.
Speaker 4 (46:14):
It's actually a promotion with the NFL, but they're they're
keeping the name Hut for the next twenty five weeks
or the whole the entire season. They're they're supposed to
be putting a football banner over the word pizza.
Speaker 2 (46:28):
I feel like you do. You used to call them
the hut. You would say, let's go to the hut.
Speaker 3 (46:32):
Go to the hut. Uh huh, yeah, yeah, yeah, I guess.
Speaker 4 (46:35):
I mean, I don't know of any pizza huts around
here that are still in old pizza hut buildings.
Speaker 3 (46:40):
They're like strip malls.
Speaker 1 (46:41):
I don't even know where a pizza hut is.
Speaker 2 (46:42):
I haven't been a one in I mean decades, probably.
Speaker 3 (46:46):
I don't even know why. It's either.
Speaker 1 (46:51):
You had pizza hut. Did you have pizza huts three
weeks ago? You had pizza in the month of August.
Is that a month we're in. No, yes, in the
month of July, I did have pizza huts. A hold up,
it's not the same as pizza hut was.
Speaker 4 (47:06):
I don't know, you know, but there's something special about
lying about reading books in school so you can get
that book it personal pan pizza.
Speaker 1 (47:13):
Wait, I don't remember that being a thing.
Speaker 3 (47:15):
You don't remember book it?
Speaker 4 (47:16):
No, Oh man, if you read we do have a
little bit of an age gap between us. Oh wait,
that only happened my generation.
Speaker 3 (47:24):
We read books for points. I didn't really read them.
Speaker 4 (47:28):
I just read the back of it real quick, and
you'd walk up and tell your quick synopsis of what
the what the book was about.
Speaker 3 (47:35):
They gave you points.
Speaker 4 (47:36):
When you got enough points, then you got a free
personal pan pizza from Pizza Huts.
Speaker 1 (47:40):
No, that was not a thing when I was growing up.
Your childholate suck sucked it.
Speaker 4 (47:45):

Speaker 4 (48:35):

B stro out in Del Sero, just hanging out, just
pouring some whiskey, pouring some gin, actually pouring some vodka,
all from Woody Creek Distillers and William ashe Macy. They're
playing songs for us while we were hanging out on
the ukulele.
Speaker 3 (48:51):
On the ukulele.
Speaker 1 (48:52):
It was like an interesting evening.
Speaker 4 (48:54):
It was.
Speaker 2 (48:54):
It sounds like an evening that if I had you
guys would make fun of me for having.
Speaker 4 (48:58):
We didn't paint by number. Okay, we weren't staring a
at DJ. Well, it's just a different hobby. We were
watching it live go down while getting drunk.

on a Barcard Friday away as he's getting the store
set up in ann Arbor, Michigan, making sure that thing's
running properly.
Speaker 1 (49:39):
So yeah, and I don't drink.
Speaker 2 (49:40):
I haven't drunk for almost four years now, so TD,
you're on a solo mission.
Speaker 3 (49:44):
Yeah, you know what, nine am.
Speaker 4 (49:46):
Drinking by yourself seems totally fine, totally fine.
Speaker 1 (49:50):
Everything though.
Speaker 2 (49:51):
Nine am is kind of when when our sales team
here at iHeartMedia, when they start rolling in and sometimes
sales will come into the studio and.
Speaker 1 (50:00):
Drink with you guys, Yeah they do.
Speaker 2 (50:02):
Do you want me to call out to sales and
see if there's anybody there that will drink with you,
you know, if you want otherwise.
Speaker 4 (50:08):
I've never tried to drink by myself, and we'll see,
we'll see what happens.
Speaker 1 (50:12):
You never drink by yourself.
Speaker 4 (50:13):
I don't think I've ever just poured a glass alone alone. Yeah,
maybe maybe if I was in the backyard barbecuing. You know,
you make up a nice little old fashion in the
backyard or in the kitchen, and so you're sitting in
the backyard.
Speaker 3 (50:25):
I guess that's happened.
Speaker 4 (50:27):
But do you think I don't think I've ever woken
up on Saturday morning the house empty and gone. I
should open this bottle. Should I should pop it open?
Which a hard bottle open? Yeah, brand new bottle of
woody creak. The stillers here, Which that's what That's what
I took home yesterday. Okay, this is what you were
having last night? Yeah, so this is what was having
last night with William H. Macy over at Cake and
(50:48):
Bottles Kane b Bestro actually at Delsa right off college
in the eight If you've never been there, go there.
Speaker 3 (50:53):
It's fantastic.
Speaker 1 (50:53):
I definitely drank by myself before, by the way, in.
Speaker 3 (50:57):
The morning, Okay, I guess me not. I will also say.
Speaker 4 (51:02):
That I have tried to maybe cook a beautiful Italian
dish like spaghetti, uh huh, and thought I'm gonna pour
a glass of wine right now because that's what I
see people do on television, and I've tried that, and
I don't I don't know if I thought the wine
was any better by myself. While while making Italian.
Speaker 2 (51:19):
There were there were times where you know, I used
to love to drink before I would get on a plane,
and so truly was my drink of toys. And so
it's like, you know, you're kind of like chugging your
last truly by the time that your uber is picking
you up for the plane.
Speaker 1 (51:33):
So yeah, I've drank by myself that way.
Speaker 2 (51:34):
There also was a time, I'm just remembering this before
I moved.
Speaker 4 (51:38):
Did you just chug that and chug its off the bottom?
Speaker 2 (51:44):
There was a time before I moved to San Diego.
There was a night specifically that I can remember. This
guy that I was seeing was going to come to
my house. I was cooking dinner, and so I made
these like I made vegan toastadas, and I also had
moscow mules ready for both of us. He was like,
I'm on the way, okay, all right. I had everything ready,
Like the toastatas were coming out of the oven. They
(52:06):
were delicious, they were beautiful. I had the moscow mules
in the copper mugs waiting.
Speaker 1 (52:12):
God, they get all frosty ted.
Speaker 2 (52:14):
He never showed up.
Speaker 1 (52:16):
That's because you were serving vegan toastatas.
Speaker 3 (52:18):
That's where you lost.
Speaker 1 (52:19):
What the heck? I have all of this food and
I have these drinks already made.
Speaker 2 (52:23):
So I did. It was like a Friday night at
my house. I had to drink two moscow mules to
myself because this.
Speaker 3 (52:30):
Man is a rough night it's a rough night. Rough nights,
it's really sad.
Speaker 4 (52:34):
I do like a mule. I do like the mule.
Out of the copper cup is a lot of fun,
a lot of fun.
Speaker 1 (52:39):
They get so cold, they.
Speaker 3 (52:41):
Get so cold.
Speaker 1 (52:42):
It was a chilly night.
Speaker 4 (52:43):
Well, we're gonna We're gonna do something here today that
I've never never tried before. Now it's National kool Aid Day,
which I discovered today today is National kool Aid Day,
which is a bummer that richesn't here because he can
run through walls much like the kool Aid Man, but
National kool Ai Day. So I thought, well, what would
mix well with what kool Aid? And first thing out
(53:04):
of the gate, I thought, a tropical paunch. Great cherry,
doesn't matter. I could mix Woody Creek Distiller's vodka with it.
But their vodka is a good sipper on its own.
It's a vodka like I've never had before. So vodka,
you know, it's supposed to be tasteless, odorless, and colorless.
It's colorless, but it definitely has a beautiful nose on
it and a different taste like I've never had before.
(53:25):
To yourself a bottle, it's like forty bucks on Keganbottle
dot Com. Cool, grab a bottle of Woody Creek Distiller's vodka.
But then I thought, hang on, hang on, what if
I take the Woody Creek Distiller's bourbon and I put
it with a little orange kool Aid. Oh, that's bourbon
and orange kool Aid. That seems like that works for me.
We're gonna find out. So I'm gonna mix up some
(53:47):
orange kool Aid. We're gonna have some Woody Creek. Oh.
Speaker 3 (53:49):
Here on a barcard Friday.
Speaker 4 (53:51):
Whoo from the album ten There Pearl jam Leddy Vedder
in the morning always helps.
Speaker 3 (53:56):
On a bar card Friday.
Speaker 4 (53:58):
Brought to you by Kegan Bottle in locations all throughout
San Diego County, including the one I was at last night,
right in Del Serro, right off College in the eight
just hanging out with William H.
Speaker 3 (54:08):
Macy.
Speaker 4 (54:08):
As he was he was hawking his what do he
creaked the stillers, which tell you what, man, this is
a good sip.
Speaker 3 (54:15):
Good sip for the price.
Speaker 4 (54:17):
I don't know if there's anything better for the price,
quite honest, it is absolutely phenomenal. There's a bourbon, there's
a rye, and this rye is one hundred percent rye.
So it's it's it's delicious, absolutely delicious.
Speaker 2 (54:29):
And you were there with Fletch last night. You guys
were having a little boys night. Yeah, little boys night,
the little boys.
Speaker 1 (54:34):
Well, actually your wife was there too, so she.
Speaker 4 (54:37):
Was as much as his wife goes, yes, yeah, these
are there.
Speaker 1 (54:40):
It actually was a couple of situations.
Speaker 4 (54:42):
Yeah, but I think they were just babysitting mostly mostly
double date some call it. Yeah. Yeah, they were trying
to keep us, you know, on a straight and arrow,
which did that work for the most part, for the
most part. It's also National kool Aid Day, which we
found out. So today on a bar card Friday, I'm
gonna take I'm gonna take some cool I've got some
orange kool.
Speaker 3 (55:01):
Aid here that i'm mixing up.
Speaker 1 (55:02):
Uh huh, TV, you're getting it all over. It's sticky.
Speaker 3 (55:06):
It's fine, it'll be fine, it'll be fine, fine. But
then I'm gonna put a lice in the glass. Oh yes, yeah, there.
Speaker 2 (55:15):
I can smell. I can spell the kool Aid scent.
It's orange kool Aid, National kool Aid Day. It's orange
kool Aid is good for you. I think there's vitamin
C in it. I think, I'm I'm gonna, I'm gonna
I poured. I got about two thirds of a glass,
maybe three quarter. I guess there's heavy poor with the
with the kool aid of of orange kool aid, and
(55:35):
there we go. Now I've got the Woody Creek Distillers
Bourbon open. I'm gonna go ahead and ad that to
the glass and there we go.
Speaker 3 (55:43):
We'll spill it up to the top of it.
Speaker 1 (55:45):
Don't have an advice, so we'll just give it a.
Speaker 4 (55:46):
Finger stir, a finger swirl. Wow, and then you gotta go, oh, gross, TV.
There's a lot going on. I'm glad there's the studio
equipment separating you and I right now drinking alone on
a bar Cardriday, just orange kool aid on National kool
Aid Day, with a little Woody Creek Stillers bourbon, which
you can get at any keg and Bottle location or
(56:08):
keg the letter in bottle dot com. In fact, if
you go to that Del Sarah location, there are signed
bottles there from William eight williache made. Okay, so let's
give this a little taste.
Speaker 1 (56:20):
Alice.
Speaker 4 (56:21):
I'm telling you right now, that's pretty damn good orange.
Speaker 3 (56:27):
It's almost I've almost made a damn old fashion. What
are we doing?
Speaker 1 (56:32):
What are we doing? It is a genuine question.
Speaker 4 (56:34):
Okay, this is what else you could do with this?
You could pour about half the bottle in the jug
of kool Aid and all of a sudden you have
a batch cocktail. I mean, this is this is too easy.
This is too easy. I will say what helps is
if you have a if you have a good bourbon,
that does that does make things.
Speaker 3 (56:52):
A little easier. But man, oh man, I don't know
what to call it.
Speaker 2 (56:55):
I don't know, but happy National kool Aid Day to
usually God.
Speaker 4 (56:58):
You know what we're gonna We're gonna high one on
here on a barkhard Friday, brought to you by Keg
and Bottle. Like I said, there's ten locations all throughout
San Diego County. Go to Keg the letter in bottle
dot Com, pick up a bottle of Woody creak the stillers,
pick up some of the vodka, the gin or this
bourbon right here, and some orange kol Aid. Don't forget
one oh one five kgb trending with TD.
Speaker 3 (57:19):
I'll tell you what if.
Speaker 2 (57:22):
They made like an adult kool Aid, that would be
the one that you're drinking on this barker Friday.
Speaker 4 (57:27):
I refilled orange kool aid and some a little bourbon
colleye that works a little smelly here.
Speaker 3 (57:34):
You're welcome. You're welcome. It's not fletched smell. Oh sure, man,
oh man.
Speaker 4 (57:39):
California drivers could see a little relief as the President
has apparently U moved the market here to get some
more gasoline for us. The Environmental Protection Agency announced yesterday
that they're issuing an emergency fuel waiver designed to increase
the domestic gasoline supply by hundreds of thousands of barrels
per day, which would bring down the prices here in California. However,
(58:02):
the changes and said to take effect for a couple
of weeks. So September first is when they would start.
Speaker 2 (58:07):
Mironically, the end of summer when people stopped driving.
Speaker 4 (58:10):
Is that was my my thought on this as well.
So September first is when they say make more. So
was it thirty days at least until you see refined
gasoline problem?
Speaker 2 (58:22):
Now, I feel like gas always goes up in the summertime.
Oh yes, everybody's out driving well, and they change the blend.
They go to this summer blend, So it's supposed to
be clean or burning. Oh, and so it costs more.
It feels like this is so they say a coffee blend.
So they change the blend to a summer Blencher blend.
Speaker 4 (58:38):
It's a nice domestic blend. It's very tastyush to sip on.
That's a lovely aroma. But yeah, I thought the same thing, Kadim. I. Yeah, well,
I mean, do we know if this actually brought the price.
Speaker 1 (58:49):
Down, because isn't it convenient?
Speaker 3 (58:51):
We're not going to.
Speaker 4 (58:51):
See anything until probably October, but across your fingers, maybe
September first. It won't be one hundred dollars bill every
time I go to the pump.
Speaker 2 (58:59):
Oh my gosh, I don't even have a big, big tank.
I think I only have an eleven gallon tank. Can
it cost seventy or seventy five dollars to fill?
Speaker 4 (59:06):
It hurts? It hurts a lot. This is weird, man.
This is a basically a movie about a movie. So
the LAPD is now investigating a case about a Nicholas
Cage movie that was made for Netflix. Okay, Netflix didn't
release it. It's a World War II movie called Fortitude.
They hadn't released it. They were waiting on it for
(59:26):
whatever reason, and now it's gone missing, the hard drives,
everything that this movie was on is gone. And now
it's been gone for two months. The people who made
the movie said, yeah, I don't know. Netflix didn't tell us.
We went and said, hey, where's our movie, and they went, Ah,
couldn't find it. Somebody wiped it, not wiped it. The
(59:49):
computers are gone, the hard drives are gone. Somebody toll
the movie. So the people who made the movie want
to sue Netflix. There's about one hundred million dollars that
wrapped up.
Speaker 1 (01:00:00):
In this thing.
Speaker 2 (01:00:00):
Yeah, you think about everybody's time and effort and work
that went into that.
Speaker 1 (01:00:04):
This is bizarre.
Speaker 4 (01:00:05):
So someone has the movie somewhere, there's no way. What
are you gonna do with it? You can't sell it.
Speaker 1 (01:00:10):
You say, this was a Nicholas Cage movie.
Speaker 4 (01:00:12):
Yes, so it's not like you're gonna be able to
release a movie and make money up right on the
black market right here. So to me, someone went, oh, shoot,
was I not su what's to take all those hard drives?
Speaker 2 (01:00:25):
So yeah, we need physical copies of things, and on
top of that, we need to especially if it's like,
what did you have the final cut and all of
the footage in one.
Speaker 4 (01:00:33):
Spot apparently whatever whatever the final whatever it was, it's
it's all gone, and people are up in arms. Well,
if you want to go to the movies this weekend,
here's what's coming out in a movie called Mutiny that
come out that came out today, Insidious, Out of the
Further came out today. SPA Weekend came out today. So
go see Spider Man. I don't know what any of
(01:00:54):
these movies are. I can see a trailer for SPA Weekend.
It's like R rated women comedy, which, oh that's fun.
There may be some laughs in there. But Spider Man
still full theaters first for the first movie ever, quickest
movie ever to reach eight hundred million dollars really in
the domestic box office. You know what, it's made worldwide
(01:01:15):
two billion, two billion dollars, and this weekend it's going
to make another a couple of few hundred million. I mean,
the theaters are still full. I have had a gift
card for the lot. You know, there's one in Laoya,
there's one in Liberty Station. I've had that gift card.
Speaker 2 (01:01:31):
Since Christmas, and I haven't gone to the movies yet,
so maybe I'll cash it in this weekend.
Speaker 4 (01:01:35):
I am not shocked, and I know you will not
cash that in this weekend. You may say that, but
that's not going to happen.
Speaker 3 (01:01:41):
You don't watch any movies.
Speaker 1 (01:01:42):
Yeah, that's true. You know what.
Speaker 4 (01:01:43):
The newest movie you've seen is Sleepless in Seattle that
came out in nineteen ninety three, and you watched it
last week.
Speaker 2 (01:01:50):
And you know what, I understand the hype.
Speaker 1 (01:01:52):
Now, it's a good movie. It was super huge.
Speaker 3 (01:01:54):
Ash. Yeah, I wish I would watched that when everybody.
Everybody was talking about.
Speaker 1 (01:01:58):
It thirty years ago.
Speaker 4 (01:02:00):
Yesterday we had the hype crew for the Ringling Brothers
here in studio.
Speaker 3 (01:02:04):
It's a lot of fun.
Speaker 4 (01:02:06):
The Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey, the Greatest show
on Earth Circus with special guests.
Speaker 3 (01:02:11):
The Ninja Kids.
Speaker 4 (01:02:12):
Going to be out at Pachanga Arena on September eleventh,
and you can get ready for some NonStop flips and
laughs and wow. But all you got to do is
call us if you want to go. We got a
four pack. Website, by the way, is Wringling dot com
if you want to buy tickets, but if you want
to win, I'm eighty eight five seven oh one oh
one five calling number ten. You're going to circus and
(01:02:34):
I don't mean this studio. It is a Barcard Friday
here one on one five KGB's Biggert TD and Fletcher
Barkard Friday. That's brought to you by Keg and Bottle
ten locations all throughout San Diego County. Or go to
keg the letter in Bottle dot com if you'd like
to order, well, anything we talk about here on the show.
But would he creaked? The stillers is what we're drinking today.
We actually slipped on this man. Maybe it's a month ago.
(01:02:54):
We had William H. Macy stop by. He hung out
with us a what a cool dude man. But he
was out at K ANDB Beast last night. They were
doing a steak in Bourbon night. They had scars. It
was it was a whole thing. And yeah, we were
just being guys doing guys stuff. You double dated it
last night with Fletched. It was it's pretty cool. You know,
it's a fun night. You've been on a date in
(01:03:14):
a long time, so it was pretty neat. You see
your wife Sarah on dates all the time.
Speaker 3 (01:03:19):
Yeah, I guess so, I guess we do that. We do?
Do we do?
Speaker 4 (01:03:23):
Some don't double date often I don't. Is that really
a double date?
Speaker 2 (01:03:27):
You and Fletch and both of your wives went to
an event. I would call that a double date. I
guess there was a bunch of other people there though
it doesn't matter.
Speaker 4 (01:03:34):
Oh, by the way, I I met this gentleman Lance
who said he was going to tune in today for
he hadn't tuned into KGB in many, many years. I
hope you did so, Lance, Thanks man, Thanks for listening.
And also a cool, great group of people that showed
up at this event. Woody Creek the Stillers is an
awesome sipper, especially if you add the Woody Creek bourbon
to some orange kool Aid on National kool Aid Day.
Speaker 3 (01:03:55):
That's what one.
Speaker 4 (01:03:56):
That's a weird combo that you did in TV. Yeah,
it's it's been a fast move to day. You're going
to be out of Uncle Cracker tomorrow. We'll we'll wrap
things up here, coming up in just a few minutes.
