Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is wonderful homes. I'm loving how you sexualize the food.
This is perfect for a shopping mall.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
It's very sexy.
Speaker 1 (00:06):
Perhaps a little more room here for the phixins.
Speaker 2 (00:09):
Ooh, we're gonna have a lot of fix.
Speaker 1 (00:11):
We're gonna have so many pix ins up with this.
Speaker 2 (00:16):
Ham straight up and down. It's six o'clock, the perfect
time for some guawker, get out of bed, kick off
the covers. Kat said to the.
Speaker 1 (00:26):
Boys, find me a lover a hinge profile you need
to make, Kat exclaimed, with high lead intake.
Speaker 2 (00:34):
A Thursday of fun is set for you. So grab
a paper cup and Clint monk Abril.
Speaker 3 (00:44):
Oh, here we go, Here we go, Happy Thursday. Everybody
figure Rich, TD and Fletch. It's one on one five
KGB And now you're probably wondering, TD, why are you
talking and not Rich? Cat ran rich off? I mean
just ran him straight off yesterday. I don't think that's true.
We were all there for we witnessed it. It was
was a heated exchange.
Speaker 2 (01:05):
Was it after the show? Was it during the show?
Speaker 4 (01:07):
During Rich and I always get in some sort of exchange.
Here's the thing about Rich, He's annoying.
Speaker 1 (01:15):
Okay, and I do believe you said I need a
break from you guys.
Speaker 4 (01:20):
I did say that, but that was you guys encompassed.
That wasn't just Rich. It wasn't just Rich, and mainly
it was Rich, but I just wanted to say you guys,
so I didn't like pinpoint him single him.
Speaker 3 (01:31):
Out for you guys were arguing over paper cups essentially. Essentially,
so you were drinking out of a hydro flask because
you didn't want to waste paper cups. Well, that's part
of the reason.
Speaker 4 (01:42):
I just I bring my vestibules for is that the
right word for my drinks?
Speaker 2 (01:50):
So no, okay, but.
Speaker 4 (01:53):
I bring the things that I like to have my
drinks in, whether it's to work or in life. So
it had nothing it doesn't necessarily have to do with
the paper cup that Rich uses eighteen times a day.
Speaker 2 (02:04):
See, this is how it started. This is how it started.
Speaker 3 (02:07):
So then Rich said I think this is probably better
for me or the environment than trying to make that
particular stainless deal cup. And then that turned into it's
probably lead line. Yeah, so you're just drinking lead, yeah,
which I'm not. Well, have you tested it?
Speaker 4 (02:23):
No, I don't need to test it, because all the
companies in place to make our items safe test it
for me.
Speaker 3 (02:31):
Well, actually, one time I had to go to this
function at my child's school, and it was about toys
and don't buy these certain toys because they are lead
based paints in them and blah blah blah blah blah.
Speaker 2 (02:43):
And if you.
Speaker 3 (02:44):
Answered questions there, you would win something. And so I
won one of the toys that they suggest that you
should buy for your kids. I might think my kid
was in preschool or kindergarten. Uh huh, won the toy.
As I'm sitting there, I opened up one of their
lead paint testing packets. Okay, he tested the toy that
they gave me. It was lead paste can. Whoops, Well,
(03:07):
supposedly kat. Since twenty thirteen, no lead has been involved
in making a hydro flesk at that bottles. So as
long as you bought that within the last thirteen years,
Yeah good.
Speaker 4 (03:15):
Oh think I bought this one in like twenty twenty,
maybe twenty twenty one.
Speaker 2 (03:19):
So it's good to go. It's good to go. Well,
so Rich not here today.
Speaker 3 (03:21):
He had some unexpected things that popped up that he's
got to take care of.
Speaker 4 (03:25):
You.
Speaker 2 (03:25):
We'll be back tomorrow on a bar cart Friday, but
then Richell or then Fletch'll be out.
Speaker 1 (03:31):
So we're you know, one of these weeks we'll have
everybody here every day. I got a wedding. I'm sorry,
we're going to get into that too.
Speaker 2 (03:37):
That is exciting.
Speaker 1 (03:38):
Got some you got some big things happening.
Speaker 3 (03:40):
We do probably need to ask Kat if you can
borrow her jacket, because that's awesome.
Speaker 1 (03:45):
Its cool land. Also, what's the worst compliment you could
ever give somebody?
Speaker 2 (03:51):
We'll ask Fletch next because it happened earlier.
Speaker 3 (03:53):
The worst compliment you could give someone one one five
kgp big rich titi in Fletch.
Speaker 2 (03:58):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (03:58):
I know that Fletch didn't mean this as as a
dig at least I don't think so.
Speaker 2 (04:04):
Cap.
Speaker 1 (04:05):
What did you say, fletg So there was I can't
remember who it was, some country singer, I said, man.
Speaker 2 (04:12):
He said that he had a neck problem.
Speaker 3 (04:14):
The reason he has a big fat neck is because
he thought he had neck cancer. And they went and said,
now you have whatever tumor or something, but you've got
a big fat neck now, And he said, maybe that's
my problem. Maybe I have some sort of tumor or
something I don't know, and he goes, you know what,
since you've lost weight, starting to look like a normal.
Speaker 2 (04:34):
Person's neck, You're welcome. I told you that.
Speaker 1 (04:38):
I think that was word for word, Like, have you
gone back and looked at some of our old videos.
Your neck was much much bigger, and you're starting to
look good.
Speaker 2 (04:46):
You're welcome. That's a bit far.
Speaker 3 (04:49):
I think that's a bit far, too. Think that's a
nice compliment. It's starting to look like a normal person's neck.
You do have a normal person's neck now.
Speaker 4 (04:58):
Clutch has always said that you I had like a
crazy neck before. Yeah, he did have a crazy n
I looked like a human thumb.
Speaker 1 (05:06):
We talked many times about how would be impossible to
strangle him because his neck is so big?
Speaker 2 (05:10):
Yeah, you might be able to know. I think I could.
Speaker 3 (05:13):
What's cool is I've barely developed an any sort of
complex about it, and I think I'm fine now. Yeah.
It's a lot like when I was in school and
just were picked on.
Speaker 2 (05:22):
Just were you picked on in school? TD relentlessly?
Speaker 1 (05:26):
Cat? Yeah, everybody, dude, it was a different aide. Bullying
was cool back then. You were you were a jock
bro I got bullied body you were what? I was
a poster? How would you get bullying in high school?
It was hot as hell in high school, as I
did bring.
Speaker 4 (05:42):
In a poster like what is that like a twenty
by twelve?
Speaker 1 (05:46):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (05:47):
No, no, no, I was twenty four by thirty six.
Speaker 1 (05:50):
I used to hang up in the gym at my
high school. I found it in my box back in Vercelles.
When did they take it down last year? Probably it's
like Alley, But no, I was a chubby kid, dude
was a problem out on the playground. But I then
I bullied people, and bold people bullied me. It was
a thing. Bullying didn't used to be so bad.
Speaker 2 (06:05):
No, no, no, you just you just I think it
was always bad. I think it was just more widely accepted.
Speaker 3 (06:10):
Well you know what, actually, there wasn't a way to
put it on social media for it, right, You just
got bullied for the moment, and then you you internalize
that and you stuffed your feelings right down. You stuffed
them right down, and then you went home and ate
granola bars and played video.
Speaker 1 (06:25):
But there is a benefit, I think to picking on
your friends, like they can can tell the person who
didn't have many friends growing up because they say wild things.
But it's like, sometimes you need somebody to tell you
that's dumb. Hmm, yeah, I guess.
Speaker 3 (06:38):
So are you trying to say right now that I
didn't have many friends growing up?
Speaker 1 (06:41):
No, you had plenty of friends growing up. I could
tell because you're a hard worker. Like you're a good
guy for the most part, but you do have you're
the most part. Indeed, past tense, have an outrageous neck,
and now it's looking good.
Speaker 2 (06:53):
Oh you know what, I was just seeing how far
I could grow it. Do you think TV that Fletch
bullied you into losing weight?
Speaker 5 (06:59):
And in your next for comfort zw the weight the
last three months?
Speaker 3 (07:07):
Three months, man, I've been trying since August of last year.
It takes time for other people to notice that I'm
trying that hard, though, since I still drink Doctor Pepper's.
Speaker 2 (07:18):
Every morning, I don't see one over there.
Speaker 1 (07:20):
I love you and I love your neck. TD.
Speaker 2 (07:23):
You guys heard it here first.
Speaker 1 (07:25):
Man.
Speaker 3 (07:25):
Oh man, we got to get into it because now
I am ready to go the fledgtone next.
Speaker 1 (07:30):
For days he's been locked in a dark room.
Speaker 3 (07:33):
No, it's not that cat, don't make that face what
he's been staring at depth charts analyzing bye weeks and
we need to congratulate him for completing mock draft number
eight and forty seven. A man so confident in his
fake football team. Brock Purty is his backup quarterback. He
(07:54):
hasn't slept, he hasn't showered. He smells of fresh cut
onions and cooked all of oil. Tomorrow we file a
missing person's report. But today, today we enter the flood zone.
Speaker 1 (08:10):
Sports well, whether you are hate watching them or you
can't quit them because you just love them. The Chargers
play tonight against the forty nine Ers. It's gonna be
broadcast on the NFL network if you are looking for it. Tonight.
Chargers looking like a pretty good team this year. Now
they got some bad news yesterday. Starting center Tyler Biadash
is gonna be out for the season, most likely with
an acl MCL injury. And it's not clear how many
(08:33):
of the starters for the Chargers are gonna be playing tonight,
but the forty nine Ers have said publicly that most
of their starters will play tonight, at least for a
little bit. In preseason week number.
Speaker 3 (08:43):
Do I was gonna ask is this This is number two.
Speaker 1 (08:46):
It is two of three. Technically it's three of four
because the Hall of Fame game counts as its own week. Okay,
but for most teams, this is their second game will
be this week. Okay, Okay, got it? Got it?
Speaker 2 (08:56):
So all right?
Speaker 3 (08:57):
Well, I think that's a risky move throwing the starters
in there.
Speaker 2 (09:02):
Yeah it is.
Speaker 3 (09:03):
I'm excited to see it, you know. I hope they
dominate the B team of the Chargers, right see.
Speaker 1 (09:08):
I don't like it either. I think preseason could just
go away, if I'm being completely honest, start the regular
season a little bit earlier. That way, Valentine's Day is
in the Super Bowl. Yeah, you know what, I agree
with that entirely. However, if they do that, the first
couple of weeks are.
Speaker 2 (09:21):
Gonna be real bad.
Speaker 1 (09:23):
He got like probably a quarter of the teams now
don't play any of their starters in the preseason anyways.
Speaker 2 (09:27):
Not even the very last game. Nope, not one bit.
Speaker 1 (09:30):
No, Like justin Herbert, probably will not see the playing
field until the regular season week.
Speaker 3 (09:34):
Then they need to do these games in July and
they can figure out who they're keeping on the team.
Speaker 1 (09:39):
I tend to agree Hey, the San Diego area representative.
The Sweetwater Valley Little League team from Bonita plays today
in the Little League World Series. It's gonna be six
o'clock or no, sorry, three o'clock Pacific time against the
Midwest Region winner from Davenport, Ohi, Iowa. The game is
gonna be broadcast on ESPN too. So if you're looking
(09:59):
to root on some San Diego natives, the little guys
from Sweetwater, they're the little engine that could. Man, they
just keep on trucking. I can't wait for this. This
is fun, man, I am. I am also fired up.
Speaker 3 (10:09):
Did the teams have names or they just sweet Water
and Davenport Sweetwater Valley Little League?
Speaker 2 (10:15):
That's it. That's it, I think so, not like the Cobras.
Speaker 1 (10:19):
I don't know the answer to this. Ye.
Speaker 2 (10:20):
That's very San Diego Football Club of them, isn't it? Again?
Speaker 6 (10:24):
Hey?
Speaker 1 (10:24):
Max ver Stoppin is a F one driver now. He
signed a contract with Red Bull Racing through the end
of twenty thirty. Red Bull did not release and Max
verst Stopping has not released the exact dollar amount of
this deal that's signed through twenty thirty, but he, along
with Lewis Hamilton, are the two most famous F one
drivers on the planet. The report is that this contract
(10:45):
is valued at any guesses per year annual average value
for F one driving. They probably pour in tons of
cash per year per year.
Speaker 2 (10:53):
I have no idea it's one hundred million per year.
Speaker 1 (10:56):
Okay, it's a little lower than that.
Speaker 2 (10:58):
It was a good guess eighty million a year.
Speaker 1 (11:00):
Eighty million a year, eighty million dollars the guess that
the people who analyze this stuff are saying this deal
is worth But how how many years did he sign
from now through twenty thirty so he will be up
for a new contract in twenty thirty one. Go, dang,
we should have been F one driver. You know how
to drive? I need to lose two hundred pounds. Oh,
(11:20):
they all have big next.
Speaker 2 (11:21):
You're good. They don't think they have big necks.
Speaker 1 (11:23):
They do know. They have really really strong big necks.
They're like little guys. They're like jockeys.
Speaker 2 (11:27):
Give it. They have big next. They're supposed to be smaller.
Speaker 4 (11:30):
It's like better for for the want they're smaller, but
they're ripped because they're having to deal with g forces.
Speaker 2 (11:36):
Yeah, and I'm huge and ripped.
Speaker 4 (11:38):
Lewis Hamilton I don't think he's a small guy and
he's dating Kim Kardashian.
Speaker 1 (11:42):
F one Driver has consequences. I guess guy Maxiver stopping,
Maxivers stopping, he should have.
Speaker 2 (11:48):
Gone with Max for going that seems like a race
car driver name you know what?
Speaker 1 (11:53):
F one?
Speaker 3 (11:54):
Uh man, it's hard for me to get into I
did love the F one movie with Brad Pitt.
Speaker 1 (11:58):
The Netflix series was really good too.
Speaker 2 (12:00):
I tried to watch that. I couldn't get into it.
Speaker 1 (12:02):
I don't know that's the accents or what I get on.
Speaker 2 (12:05):
They're so pretentious. That's so rich, is what they are.
They are very, very rich.
Speaker 3 (12:09):
But I guess also maybe I just have an allegiance
to NASCAR America. Yeah, a little Ricky, Bobby and me KGB.
I've been known to doom scroll a time or two.
It's one of one, five KGB. It's big Richtiti and fletched,
so cat fletch. You guys like to flip through the
old TikTok and Instagram, right, yeah, what what are you
guys being shown?
Speaker 2 (12:29):
I'm almost exclusively.
Speaker 3 (12:31):
Dogs on TikTok now, oh, really almost exclusively.
Speaker 4 (12:35):
I get a lot of cat content, Well I get
I think I get a good mix of a lot
of different things.
Speaker 2 (12:43):
Vegan food. Oh god, you should get a new profile.
Speaker 4 (12:47):
I feel like my TikTok feed lately has been hyper local.
A lot of San Diego.
Speaker 3 (12:51):
Yeah, that's pretty cool. I once in a while get
some San Diego. Otherwise it's dogs, so many dogs.
Speaker 2 (12:56):
What about you? Fletched so far, I'm getting a lot
of Scotland.
Speaker 1 (13:00):
It's like all the things I didn't do in Scotland
that they're trying to get me back. Oh interesting, So
for me, usually it's a lot of Vegas. H I mean,
they're always trying to get another thingsday.
Speaker 2 (13:10):
There's no way with a big agenda to gets you
to Vegas. Flatching you like going to Vegas.
Speaker 3 (13:15):
And in my head there is there's an OZ somewhere, Yeah,
who knows what I like to do and is trying
to pull me towards these things to spend money on it.
And the way I see it, there's some overlord somewhere
and they have a room. They're sitting in a singular
chair of the room is very sterile, but there's seventy
thousand screens all around them and they're you know, everything's
popping up of all of our faces and then that
(13:37):
person decides what they're going to show me and it's
and it's dogs.
Speaker 2 (13:41):
Well butts does yeah used to be.
Speaker 3 (13:43):
Butts on TikTok Now Instagram took over the butt situation.
Speaker 2 (13:46):
Yeah, your guys' Instagram feeds are filthy.
Speaker 4 (13:48):
It does feel like as soon as you mention something
or somebody mentioned something to you, all of a sudden,
you have an ad for it.
Speaker 3 (13:56):
So I get a lot of dogs. And I was
looking at dogs that people are posting picture of their
dog when they were kids or whatever it was, and
I thought, man, oh man, when I was a kid.
Speaker 2 (14:04):
Our dog slept outside.
Speaker 3 (14:06):
We would you know, here's food in a plastic bowl,
you throw it on the ground.
Speaker 2 (14:10):
Good night. You closed the door. Our dog was just outside.
You had your dog outside over there, So did we
all night long?
Speaker 1 (14:16):
Yeah, which wasn't until like the last ten years of
my mom started letting the dogs sleep inside. I don't
know if our dog ever came in our house ever.
Not one time, not one time in the eighties did
a dog come in the house. Now, I'm thinking dogs
have had the biggest come up in the I mean,
over anyone in the last forty years. Dogs have gone
(14:37):
from never walking inside of a home. Now you grocery store,
they go to spas, they have doggy spas. My dog
slept on my pillow last night and said to me, man,
I tried to move it, he wouldn't let me.
Speaker 2 (14:50):
I wake up.
Speaker 3 (14:51):
Every morning with our dog in between my wife and
I upside down though there's feet in our face, which
there's also other things in our face, which is really fun,
really really fun. Dog balls, That's what I'm talking about,
or at least the spot where they used to be.
That's exactly what I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (15:05):
Our dog will stretch his paws out, so he's touching
my wife's back with his front paws, and then his
back legs are on my back.
Speaker 2 (15:12):
He's trying to make sure you guys have an appropriate
level of space between me.
Speaker 1 (15:15):
He's just always touching both of us. It's like he
can't survive without knowing both of us are there.
Speaker 2 (15:20):
So it's a.
Speaker 3 (15:21):
Little bit of the high school dance. You gotta have separation. Yeah,
it's a leaving room for Brock instead of leaving room
for Jesus. That's good, that's very good. I'm just what
is it? Is it our guilt is children that we
never let our dogs in.
Speaker 2 (15:33):
That will be part of it.
Speaker 1 (15:34):
Yes, you think there's some hidden yet deep down inside
pets were not treated as well as maybe they should
have been back then, where there was a little less
awareness and maybe a little less social media.
Speaker 3 (15:45):
I think it goes back to how Fletch was making
fun of me and I didn't have friends, and then
now I feel like they were my friends growing up
and I should take care of them.
Speaker 2 (15:54):
I should probably see a therapist. Yeah, we've been telling
you that.
Speaker 3 (15:57):
Actually it's good. Five kg be bigger td in. Fletch
rich out today a couple of unexpected appointments that popped up.
He's got to run too. He will be back with
us tomorrow on a bar cart Friday. We got a
couple of giveaways coming up today though, which we'll get
into as well. A couple a couple fun ones here,
something new, something new, also.
Speaker 1 (16:17):
A bold move, bold move. Fletch's gonna risk it for
the biscuit. You're going to a wedding. You're flying out
tomorrow right, yeah, tomorrow morning, right nearly the weddings tomorrow afternoon,
a Friday afternoon wedding. Okay, Wow, inconveniencing a lot of people.
Speaker 2 (16:31):
Where it is?
Speaker 1 (16:32):
Where is the wedding, Fletch. It's up in Sonoma, so
Santa Rose area.
Speaker 2 (16:36):
This seems fancy to me.
Speaker 1 (16:37):
Now, well deferred, cat can Fletch go to a Sonoma wedding?
Speaker 2 (16:41):
Not in a suit and tie? You're not gonna wear
a suit? See that face? See that face.
Speaker 1 (16:47):
I don't think it's a big deal too away. See
I've worn a suit to the last two weddings, and
I look around at people who are much more comfortable
than me, who aren't wearing this. What are they wearing?
Just like a shirt in tie and pants?
Speaker 2 (16:57):
Oh, it's apposed like a whole suit jacket.
Speaker 1 (16:59):
Yeah, what shirt and tie? What's the you might leave
the tie off? I didn't hear you mentioned the time
I might leave the tie off. What's the degree you're
gonna be. It's gonna be warm, it's gonna be toasty.
And I bought a nice new shirt that's very breathable,
but I don't think it's gonna look good with the tie.
Speaker 2 (17:12):
Are you gonna wear an undershirt?
Speaker 1 (17:14):
Yeah? I have an undershirt that has like almost like
like Lady products in the armpits to keep from the
sweat or out. That's honestly what it is. It's like
a pad for like lactation. Yeah, no, it's for armpit sweat.
But they're called Thompson Te's. I'm this is a free
plug for this company. They do wonders. You wear a
(17:36):
undershirt that has extra absorption absorption capabilities in the armpit.
Speaker 2 (17:41):
Yeah, you would not even know I'm a armpit sweater
when I wear this thing. Is it like when women
have things with shoulder pads in it, but the pad
is in your armpit? Kind of Yeah? My god, these
things warm.
Speaker 1 (17:50):
Look for all those fellows out there who are big
time sweaters like me or the ladies there's I've known
some sweaty ladies. These Thompson t look them up. Do
you throw away that undershirt? Ones lasting me like seven years?
I only wear my.
Speaker 4 (18:05):
Big Think of how much sweat that has.
Speaker 2 (18:08):
Its washable Yeah? No, I'm with you, fletched. Okay.
Speaker 4 (18:11):
So you're planning on wearing slacks, yes, like a nized
dress shoe, yes, okay, and then your your sweaty undershirt with.
Speaker 2 (18:18):
A nice with a nice button.
Speaker 1 (18:20):
It is a very nice button up. I bought it
at Men's warehouse. It was like seventy dollars.
Speaker 2 (18:23):
Way. However, however, this is a pattern pattern button up.
Speaker 1 (18:28):
You said, there is the there's some stuff.
Speaker 2 (18:30):
Oh no, it's the patterns. It's not. It's not a
crazy patterned shirts.
Speaker 1 (18:36):
My wife has tuxedo t No, no, it's actually it's
a very classy looking shirt here.
Speaker 4 (18:41):
Okay, for seventy bucks, it must be that's inexpensive.
Speaker 1 (18:45):
I don't have a picture of it. What kind of
pattern is it? Are we talking stripes? Are we talking Paisley?
It's like almost stripes, but not quite stripes. It's like
interrupted stripes, interrupted stripes. Yeah, it's like it's like you
know the lines on a road. How it goes like?
Speaker 2 (19:01):
Oh, like yeah, is it a golf shirt?
Speaker 1 (19:04):
No, it's not a golf it's a good look sure, dude, video,
I look good. I look hot, all right? I mean
you feel the confidence level is high? It always is.
Speaker 4 (19:15):
Now, is this the wedding that you've been You and
your friends have been doing push ups in preparation.
Speaker 2 (19:20):
What you're doing push up?
Speaker 1 (19:21):
This is not why we're doing push up. We're doing
push ups for a whole other reason. What's the reason.
We had a friend who has a we're just trying
to get healthy.
Speaker 2 (19:29):
Oh god, I got it. We're all supporting people who
are trying to get healthy.
Speaker 6 (19:33):
Cool.
Speaker 1 (19:34):
Does everyone own kettlebells? No, that's just me thing. I'd
be a kettle bell swinging pool man.
Speaker 4 (19:39):
All right, So you're looking hot at this wedding fledge
is just a byproduct of the push up challenge.
Speaker 2 (19:43):
It's not for the wedding.
Speaker 1 (19:45):
And she just called me hot.
Speaker 2 (19:46):
She did in the terms of you being sweaty.
Speaker 3 (19:50):
You need to send photographs of you in this Dude,
I look good. I think it might be a mistake.
Little boys who love cats. That's Cat's favorite genre of kids.
That's what she said here in studio. Maybe last week
your your favorite genre of children.
Speaker 2 (20:09):
Yes, okay.
Speaker 4 (20:10):
So we had a celebration of life from my grandma
a couple of weeks ago. It was the weekend before
I came back from my leave of absence, and so all.
Speaker 2 (20:20):
The family was in town.
Speaker 4 (20:21):
Like, we had like fifty family members here in San
Diego for the celebration of life. Now, this generation of
kids in my family, it's all boys.
Speaker 2 (20:30):
So we had a.
Speaker 4 (20:31):
Group of like I felt like fifteen boys that were
under the age of eleven, I think was the oldest. Okay, okay,
they all love cats, man, and they're all excited. They're
all excited to go to your house and see your cat. Yeah,
they want to know the information about your cats. They
want to know if they can pick up your cat,
did your cat snuggles your cat?
Speaker 2 (20:51):
Nice?
Speaker 4 (20:52):
I just think that's the sweetest genre of little boys.
And Rich says that his sons really like cats too.
Speaker 2 (20:58):
That's uh.
Speaker 1 (20:59):
I think I think little boys love animals.
Speaker 4 (21:02):
Yeah, they do, but but I don't know if maybe
they all have dogs or something and they're excited about
cats because they don't normally get to interact with them.
But I mean, they're like stoked to get to even
see pictures.
Speaker 2 (21:14):
Of your cats.
Speaker 7 (21:15):
Now.
Speaker 1 (21:16):
I have never said, Fletch that I have a favorite
genre of children. I've never I've never used those words.
So this is a very unique term for me. Does
it also be the cat hates little boys who love dogs?
Speaker 2 (21:30):
What I was going? No, I think those that genre
of kids is awesome as well. Okay, but obviously second
far second distance. Obviously me, as a person who loves cats,
it has two cats, it's exciting for me to find
kids who are excited about cats.
Speaker 3 (21:44):
If and when you have children cat and you have
a child and that child likes dogs and not cats.
Speaker 2 (21:51):
That's fine.
Speaker 4 (21:52):
I think that they'll still like cats, though. What's your
round cats? You understand cats are elite, they're awesome.
Speaker 1 (21:57):
But if they don't like the cats, what if they're
alert wildly allergicly? I mean, if you had a kid
that was allergic to cats, you probably put that kit
up for That's what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (22:08):
Your house, my house full. My house is flats too.
You have a cat.
Speaker 1 (22:13):
I do have two cats. I'm literally full of cats.
Speaker 2 (22:17):
Man.
Speaker 3 (22:17):
The Little League World Series starts today. Sweetwater is in it.
Let's do some this or fat Thursday coming up next.
Speaker 1 (22:25):
One KGB trending with td Well. Brush fire broke out
yesterday afternoon out in Alpine.
Speaker 2 (22:32):
It was right around three pm as when it broke out.
Speaker 3 (22:35):
Fire officials said it was burning at a dangerous rate
of speed, prompting evacuation orders road closures out there in
nearby communities, But as a five point thirty yesterday, about
two and a half hours, the rate of spread was
stopped and then all orders have been lifted as of
this morning, which is great.
Speaker 2 (22:51):
I cannot believe how.
Speaker 3 (22:53):
Fast our fire department are running, our fire officials, how.
Speaker 2 (22:57):
Fire are they are set up to like getting under.
Speaker 3 (23:00):
Control man, which you know, obviously dangerous conditions out there,
because when when something happens is go time playing.
Speaker 2 (23:09):
That's what I'm talking about. I know my uh my
brother in law is a fire chief up in Long Beach.
Speaker 1 (23:13):
Then I guess after what happened a couple of years
ago in La right, the intensity has been ratcheted way
and it's like if something pops up, they are on it.
Speaker 3 (23:21):
It feels like it. It feels like because it's not.
It doesn't feel like it's, oh, here's a fire. And
then okay, let's try Plan A first, and then we'll
go to Plan B or Plant C.
Speaker 1 (23:30):
It's all hands on deck. Let's go which great news?
Great news, man, it's been what eggs?
Speaker 3 (23:38):
It's been? What are the other things that we can't eat?
Let us let us what's something else? I can't remember either?
But now blueberries? Noos? That was the other my olympenione golly.
Speaker 1 (23:52):
A recall of green Wise organic frozen blueberries.
Speaker 2 (23:56):
Organic YEP and whole mixed.
Speaker 3 (23:58):
Berries have been slapped with the FDA's highest risk classification
amid an investigation.
Speaker 2 (24:03):
Into potentially dangerous E. Coli.
Speaker 3 (24:07):
An outbreak has sickened twelve people and hospitalized four so far.
But there's just thousands and thousands and thousands of bags
out there.
Speaker 4 (24:14):
So this is why you have to get your stuff
from a local farmer. I'm getting my produce delivery today.
Speaker 2 (24:19):
It's green Wise organic cats.
Speaker 4 (24:22):
Yeah, but who knows where that came from and how
long it's spen stored?
Speaker 2 (24:28):
Ordering stuff online from a farmer, No, there's.
Speaker 4 (24:31):
A there's a farm in ocean side that does these
subscription boxes, and so I get my subscription box every
other week.
Speaker 2 (24:39):
When you liver it. When you open the boxes, it's
just a bunch of loose blue bears.
Speaker 1 (24:42):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (24:43):
Yeah, it's pour them out of the box.
Speaker 4 (24:45):
There's like a it's a whole box of all sorts
of different things.
Speaker 2 (24:48):
It's a surprise. What it's time to be alive man.
Speaker 3 (24:52):
A new study shows, this is from the Pew Research Center,
that only about a third of gen Zer's ages sixteen
to nineteen years old got a summer job. What is
going on with the with the young kids these days?
I think I was forced to go get a job
at sixteen, You you're working, get out there, like.
Speaker 2 (25:12):
I wanted to work because I wanted to make money. Yes,
but what do you wanted a car? If you don't,
if you don't have a need. I mean, we live
in let's be honest, we live in a pretty wealthy area.
What's the age range sixteen to nineteen?
Speaker 6 (25:23):
Well, yea.
Speaker 1 (25:24):
If you're playing summer sports, yes, I don't know, man,
which pretty much every high school sport now has some
sort of summer additive to it. You're really in aau,
you're playing travel, you're doing something that.
Speaker 2 (25:34):
I've also never got a summer job. I just had
a year round job. I just had a job job.
If I just right, I never had really a summer job.
Speaker 4 (25:42):
Much now that I think about it, though, Like, maybe
you should be focusing more on school in sports versus working.
Speaker 2 (25:47):
No, you're gonna work the rest of your life.
Speaker 3 (25:49):
Hope you should wash dishes and be yelled at by
someone at a.
Speaker 2 (25:53):
Restaurant, or deliver Chinese food. Yes, do that. Deliver pizzas
and your car will to heaven.
Speaker 1 (26:01):
Just butcher chickens. You'll be fine. Fun in the sane.
But I worked for my grandpa some time. I was
like fourteen till eighteen day.
Speaker 3 (26:08):
There's no way that there's a job of butchering chickens
out here in San Diego.
Speaker 1 (26:12):
You had a cool grandpa.
Speaker 2 (26:13):
There is maybe a niece county. This is why you
are the way you are.
Speaker 3 (26:17):
Man oh man uh No easy transitions in in rock radio,
they always say it's SeaWorld San Diego tickets.
Speaker 2 (26:26):
We have a family four pack for you.
Speaker 3 (26:28):
We're sending you to SeaWorld San Diego's bayside bands, brew
and barbecues, smokey barbecue, ice, cold craft beers, and live
concerts featuring Uncle Cracker and Skillet. Uncle Cracker going to
be this weekend, cat gonna be out there the Nighttime
Animal Experiences, the Drone Spectacular. If you would like a
family four pack, be calling Umber ten right now eight
eight eight five seven oh one oh one five.
Speaker 2 (26:49):
You canna go to sea World.
Speaker 3 (26:50):
Well, if you weren't calling in for SeaWorld tickets, you
were probably singing along. I love some stain man, give
me some Aaron Lewis and stained all day long. But
congrats to Michael, I'm San Diego. Those sea World tickets.
We have another family four pack coming up at eight
thirty a lot going on here on a this or
thatday Thursday.
Speaker 1 (27:07):
That's the only way I could get the alliteration this.
Speaker 2 (27:09):
Or that, this or that.
Speaker 1 (27:12):
You're trying to just get the Thursday, yeah, or that
Thursday is that bad?
Speaker 2 (27:18):
Or that Thursday. I think this or that Thursday also works.
I don't know if it does. We're still getting the thought.
Uh huh.
Speaker 1 (27:23):
We may have to ask the listeners whether or not
they like this or that it actually works.
Speaker 3 (27:29):
See that was good, That's gonna be this or that.
Uh No, we're going Little League World Series edition. We
got sweet Water out in the World Series. Starts today
three o'clock. Where do we watch this?
Speaker 1 (27:40):
ESPN two, ESPN, the O Joe No, ESPN, The Dose,
the Dose, that's where you go.
Speaker 3 (27:47):
So let's do some this or that. Did you guys
hang out at the little League ballpark? Fletch? You probably
played Little League? I was playing Little League? Yes, Cat,
you went there to see.
Speaker 1 (27:55):
The boys who love cats?
Speaker 2 (27:58):
No, ipats never been to a Little League game.
Speaker 1 (28:01):
I don't think how weirdly enough, as an adult I
hang out at the Lakeside Little League Ballpark quite a bit.
Speaker 2 (28:06):
That is weird. It's an adult without kids.
Speaker 1 (28:08):
Well, we go and watch Kendall students. Oh, so that's
we go probably five or six times a year.
Speaker 4 (28:14):
Do go for walks around Morley Field quite often, and
there is a baseball field there where there's constantly like
little kids playing.
Speaker 2 (28:22):
So I assume that's probably a little lead.
Speaker 3 (28:24):
When you were fourteen years old, you didn't go hang
out at the little league park. Your friends didn't go
gather there. Never, we were playing our own sports. What
I'm shocked by this. He was hanging with the stoners.
We didn't really have any place to hang out in
the little league field.
Speaker 1 (28:41):
Kind myself a man, Well, listen, if you're at the ballpark,
we're doing this or that at the snack bar, this
or that, Big League Chew.
Speaker 2 (28:52):
Or Bubbleicious.
Speaker 1 (28:53):
Dude, I love that, but the Bubblelicious tastes so good,
so sold. So it's like we're talking bubble Gum rankings,
and I do feel like I'm a pretty expert in this.
BLC is always going to be number one watermelon flavor.
You're going big lea chew watermelon, not the original bubble Gum.
Green one is so damn good. Obble Bubba is number.
Speaker 2 (29:13):
Two, Hubba above bubblicious.
Speaker 1 (29:15):
No, yeah, above bubblesh hubb Abubba's fantastic and you get
the big bubbles with it.
Speaker 3 (29:20):
Well, m man, so here, am I just looking at
the gum by itself? Or am I having the gum
at the ballpark. At the ballparks, it's got to be
big lead chew. It's got to be big leaks, but
also double bubble at the ballpark. The little ones though,
those lose their flavor after a fifteen seconds, but.
Speaker 2 (29:36):
So big lead chew doesn't hang on that long either.
Speaker 5 (29:38):
You know.
Speaker 4 (29:39):
I had Water Delicious recently, okay, like a couple of
weeks ago, and I feel like the flavor does last.
Speaker 2 (29:45):
On that, are right? I agree?
Speaker 3 (29:46):
I think Hubba Bubba hangs in too, but god the bubblicious.
Speaker 2 (29:49):
For some reason, I like bubble you know.
Speaker 4 (29:52):
It was my favorite gum, though was fruit stripe gum
for a second.
Speaker 1 (29:56):
Fruit Strike gum was good for one second. Che I
think it's been a decade since I've had bubble gum.
We should go get some bubble gum right now. You
should get bubble gum for sure. Fruit trip gum was
delicious for choose and.
Speaker 4 (30:10):
Then it was hard. You should stay down the flavor quickly.
What was the one that was in the cylindrical.
Speaker 2 (30:16):
You're talking bubble tape. Bubble tape. Yeah, you would roll
it out and then yeah, you would really cool.
Speaker 1 (30:24):
You would just pull it out of the middle and
take it, take a piece of pizza. It was like
five bites.
Speaker 4 (30:30):
Do you think, Oh, you know where they would have
this gum? The Dollar Store? There's one around the corner.
What time do they open.
Speaker 2 (30:36):
Or seven eleven?
Speaker 1 (30:36):
Yeah, but there's still at these places now. We don't
work at Disneyland.
Speaker 4 (30:40):
Dollar Tree, though they have like the old school candy,
whereas Bonds might not have that.
Speaker 1 (30:44):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (30:44):
Man, all right, well I don't know what we chose there,
but big leak chew. I think was it okay this?
Or fat sunflower? Seeds or beef jerkey? I still mess
with seeds.
Speaker 2 (30:53):
I love seeds, beef jerkey my favorite.
Speaker 4 (30:56):
That's actually the one food that I really miss since
being vegetarian.
Speaker 1 (31:00):
Cracked pepper spits seeds leap not hired this side of
my mouth. I look like a chipmunk with it. And
spend an hour seeds and it's almost if I crack
that open, I will be addicted to them until the
bag is gone.
Speaker 2 (31:14):
Gosh, I love him so much. I'm off for the
beef turkey. The beach turkey, though, you karaokey flavored beef jerky,
But the beef jerkey you have to have the right one.
It has to be soft.
Speaker 4 (31:23):
And actually I've said this in the past that if
I had one food that I had to choose, like
I was stuck on a on an island, you can
only have one food.
Speaker 2 (31:32):
Beef turkey would be a food. Better have a big
water supply.
Speaker 1 (31:35):
Yeah, you also want to an island ocean there toothpick
or something.
Speaker 2 (31:39):
Yeah, you're gonna they're gonna be upset.
Speaker 1 (31:41):
They're gonna be upset a fist or fat Thursday, we
continue Little League World Series Edition.
Speaker 2 (31:46):
Coming up next on the KGB Black.
Speaker 3 (31:48):
Crows gonna be out with Guns and Roses, not Dragon Stadium.
Speaker 2 (31:52):
That's just in a couple of weeks.
Speaker 3 (31:53):
Wednesday, September second, I would like to go to the show, Fletch.
I did see that tickets were are still available. It
looks like they released some more here ticketmaster dot com.
If you want to go see Guns and Roses and
the Black Crows. It is a this or that Thursday
and The very first thing that we brought up this
or that as we're talking little league baseball, because Sweetwater
(32:14):
is is is it Bonita?
Speaker 2 (32:16):
Sweetwater? Is that what?
Speaker 1 (32:17):
They're the Bonita team? But they're the Sweetwater Valley Little
League team in the India Little League World Series.
Speaker 3 (32:24):
That's cool, man, that's cool. Game one today, three o'clock
ESPN two. So we're talking against Iowa whatever whatever. Very
first this or that was big League Chew or Bubbleicious,
which if you're at the ballpark, it's big League Chew
all day.
Speaker 1 (32:42):
To me, I would tend to agree. Yeah, now I've
gone through plenty of both of my life. Kat said Bubblicious.
Speaker 3 (32:48):
And then you said we should get bubble gum, and
she went and got bubble gum.
Speaker 1 (32:53):
Yeah, she's at seven to eleven with my credit card.
By the way, yea, hopefully she doesn't rack up like
a million dollars.
Speaker 2 (32:58):
It has been a minute. She's been gone. Now what
I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (33:01):
Now, usually we will go for a run during the shows.
She filled up her gas. Take That's what I was thinking.
That was quick, quick take a gas, No big deal.
So big Lee Chew, Bubblicious, We said, bubb or big
lely chew. She said bubblicious. I said, oh, you did
say hubbub That wasn't even the option. Bubba is elite.
Ubba Bubba is the goat.
Speaker 2 (33:19):
She made it in. She made it in.
Speaker 1 (33:20):
We got she's got uh, she's got bubbleicious those high chews.
Speaker 2 (33:24):
That's not bubble gum. So she got a mamba, got
a mama flet.
Speaker 4 (33:27):
You gave me your card and you said, get yourself
something nice, So I got sour mamba.
Speaker 2 (33:32):
Okay.
Speaker 4 (33:32):
We have the regular Hubba Bubble Bubble tape Okay, original flavor,
and then we also have Bubblicious watermelon.
Speaker 3 (33:40):
Are we going to just do a taste test here?
Or are we going to go off of which one
makes the best bubble, who can blow the best bubble?
Speaker 1 (33:46):
Mouse? Mouse feel? I like mouthfeel a lot.
Speaker 2 (33:49):
Okay, all right, we'll do all that.
Speaker 3 (33:50):
So we're going to get into that on a fa
sort of that Thursday, but we continue her Little League eddition.
You're at the snack bar, soda or gatorade.
Speaker 1 (33:59):
Gatorade's kind of a at the little leake snap bar,
especially if it's blue and its ice cold.
Speaker 2 (34:03):
Yeah, like especially I grew up and said it.
Speaker 1 (34:06):
Was like one hundred and eight degrees outside, like it
was a problem in the summer. A blue ice cold
Gatorade is hard to beat.
Speaker 3 (34:13):
See, I feel that way about a red ice cold Gatorade.
But soda would beat this out for me. I'd grab
a coke.
Speaker 4 (34:20):
Yeah, you drink Doctor Pepper in the morning, TD, so
we knew you were good and nice.
Speaker 1 (34:26):
I've been soda free for a couple of months. I
have not been gatorade free for a couple months. I
don't think gatorade is better for you, probably not, but
it feels better.
Speaker 4 (34:33):
They probably hydrates you better though it's got electrolytes ver
soda doesn't.
Speaker 2 (34:37):
Yeah, but does it make you feel better?
Speaker 1 (34:39):
Cat?
Speaker 2 (34:42):
Yeah, there's a lot of things, A lot of things.
Speaker 3 (34:45):
Cat, you didn't choose either, because you'd pick water yea
our little PSA here on KGB, big rich TD and
fletch as we are trying bubbleicious and bubble tape here
on a fist or fat Thursday.
Speaker 2 (34:58):
You could just say this or that.
Speaker 1 (35:01):
Thursday, this this or that. I do believe one of
the first rules in radio is don't chew gum while
you talk on the radio.
Speaker 2 (35:07):
Well, we've broken a lot of rules.
Speaker 1 (35:10):
This seems like this seems like a pretty minor one
so far.
Speaker 2 (35:13):
I left during the show and went to seven eleven
to get this gum.
Speaker 3 (35:16):
We drink on Friday mornings and other mornings if need be.
Speaker 2 (35:20):
Now the PSA.
Speaker 3 (35:22):
As we were doing the bubble tape fletch, you started
off maybe eighteen inches of tape, so I said, okay,
that's the amount that we're gonna go with.
Speaker 2 (35:31):
It's too much, too much, too much, too much. You
want this is a thick wad. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (35:36):
Yeah. Also, the way cadd eats bubblegum is crazy crazy, It's.
Speaker 2 (35:40):
Wild, I mean absolutely insane. Who knew tongue was going
to be out bubble tape. It's you can't just shove it.
Speaker 1 (35:47):
All in your mouth, so you had to do this
weird look up the sky baby bird it yeah, tongue tongue.
Speaker 3 (35:55):
The tongue grabbed it and pulled it towards your mouth
and then you slowly chewed it.
Speaker 2 (36:01):
It's all off to see.
Speaker 1 (36:05):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, Now interesting music choices being at it
as you went to As you went to seven eleven, Cat,
you said, you sent me here at the right time.
That was Yes, that's where the single guys hang out
at seven.
Speaker 4 (36:15):
I don't know that they're single, but there are work
men at that seven eleven around a corner from us
at seven forty am. That's where they're at there, because
I feel like a lot of servicemen start work at eight, right,
so like you know, your your plumbers, your construction workers,
all those guys. But got the blue collar guy, hard
working man.
Speaker 2 (36:34):
Yeah, and they were all at seven eleven year and
up for the day. They were making coffee. One guy
was getting a cup of noodle. Ready. You know what?
Why not? If if wuaka clock can be six am,
I guess it can also be a cup of news.
Speaker 3 (36:50):
A couple of nudes is probably what he what he
would like, That's what I'm saying. A fist or that
Thursday we're going to try to blow bubbles here, but
let's continue on here A Little League War Series edition.
Speaker 2 (37:01):
At the snack bar. Fist with that.
Speaker 1 (37:03):
Red Vines or Twizzlers? O red Vines. Gotta go with
the O G. I'm also team red Vine, Team red
Vine too. I already know Rich would pick twizzlers. The
East Coast guy, what is it? Whistlers are good. They're
kind of plastic they suck. They're the worst red vines
out of the big Costco tub That's the way to
get to what we're talking about. It is one of
the most elite candies on the planet.
Speaker 2 (37:22):
I agree. Ironically, the last time that I had the
Bubbleicious that we're about to have, I also had Twizzlers
that same day.
Speaker 3 (37:31):
You're gonna have to run back to seven one eleven.
So now we're gonna blow some bubbles here. We're gonna
tell you which one wins. We're gonna continue a fift
or Thursday Little League Series, Little League World Series Edition
and some queen on the KGB he did it the
sky friggin did it.
Speaker 1 (37:49):
I climbed Everest. You did?
Speaker 2 (37:51):
You did? Fletch.
Speaker 1 (37:51):
It's one of one five kg be It's biggest td in.
Fletch rich out today. I'll be back with us tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (37:56):
So Cad and myself and Fletch holding things down and
where it's a fist or that Thursday Little League edition
we are. We're talking Hubba Bubba, we're talking bubblicious. We
tried the Hubba Bubba. We blew some bubbles.
Speaker 2 (38:09):
Cat, I think you had the biggest bubble I know Fletch.
Speaker 1 (38:12):
I think Fletch is okay, well that's contesting it.
Speaker 2 (38:15):
They're on video, so we will be able to find that. Said,
we'll have to go to the tape.
Speaker 3 (38:19):
Now, we went to the Bubblicious, which I will say
trumps and taste.
Speaker 2 (38:24):
It's delicious. I mean watermelon short lived though. I feel
like the hubb above a tape lass a little bit
larger the watermelon better at first, but it's it's quick.
Speaker 3 (38:36):
Yeah, yeah, it does wear off faster, that is for sure. However,
quicker to blow bubbles, yeah yeah, And then you blew
a fairly nice bubble with the Bubblelicious cat. But then Fletch,
showing off over here, blows a bubble and then blows
a bubble inside of that bubble.
Speaker 1 (38:54):
Bubble in a bubble bubble in the bubble is elite.
Years of practice and I'm not even kind of okay, yeah,
I don't even know how to do that. Did you
start playing baseball when you're like ten, you don't stop
until you're eighteen, and you have bubble gum every day
in that stretch.
Speaker 3 (39:08):
Check this out for a slug line for the show
Big Rich TD and Fletch No.
Speaker 2 (39:13):
One blows better than fletch. Huh. I mean it's been
the first.
Speaker 1 (39:19):
Time you've pitched that idea either, which is weird.
Speaker 2 (39:21):
It's proven today.
Speaker 1 (39:24):
I had a friend who could blow a bubble and
a bubble and a bubble. Three bubbles. That seems impossible.
Speaker 2 (39:30):
We also would do fletch is saying there is someone
that blows, Yeah, there's far better blow and he knows him.
Speaker 1 (39:35):
But there was also a game we would play where
you would try to like blow a bubble, tie it
off and then stick it on someone's hat without them noticing,
and so then you'd have someone running out on the
field with a bubble from bubble Gum just sitting on
their hat.
Speaker 2 (39:48):
You guys really did a lot of cool things. And
we're said, fletch, yeah, I've seen that game. That's a
cool inside joke.
Speaker 1 (39:54):
What are you trying to say?
Speaker 2 (39:56):
L No, I would never say that.
Speaker 1 (39:59):
It's cool like you say that fists or that while
you're at the little league field.
Speaker 2 (40:04):
Nachos are a hot dog nachos. It seems like that's
an easy one.
Speaker 1 (40:08):
You're picking a hot dog, hot dog all day nacho
day long. Nachos are so dirty.
Speaker 4 (40:14):
You do Yeah, you need you need a hand washings
like three seconds that it's gone.
Speaker 1 (40:19):
But the nacho cheese, come on, put nano on the dog.
Speaker 4 (40:25):
That's I've a lot of time. I might make nachos
at home in the paper.
Speaker 2 (40:30):
Nacho boat, come on, it's a leak. It's elite guys,
can't go wrong.
Speaker 3 (40:34):
There some SeaWorld tickets coming up after trending after Nirvana
on the.
Speaker 1 (40:38):
KGB ONEB and trending with TD.
Speaker 2 (40:43):
Well, I hope this isn't signs of a bubble.
Speaker 3 (40:45):
But California is in the midst of a record shattering
investment wave fueled by AI. The AI boom out in
the Silicon Valley. Companies in California have brought in about
three hundred and sixty six billion dollars of venture capital
since the beginning of twenty twenty six.
Speaker 2 (41:01):
Now, according to.
Speaker 3 (41:02):
Data, that's more than three times the amount that has
gone into the other forty nine states combined, and it's
double the record of last year in California set in
twenty twenty five. So, I mean, there's just tons and
tons of dollars going into AI. And there's experts who
are saying.
Speaker 1 (41:20):
This isn't correct, that AI is is gonna pop or not,
or it just goes in the opposite direction. And the
people who are like Big AI proponents are right. In
ten years from now, the world looks very very different
than it is right now. I feel like I flip
flop back and forth every day. The crazy thing about
that money TD is ninety nine point nine percent of
it is all going to one tiny little area.
Speaker 2 (41:42):
It's all in Stilon Belcon Valley.
Speaker 1 (41:44):
That's all the Bay Area.
Speaker 3 (41:45):
It's a crazy amount of cash. Crazy amount of cash.
I'm speaking of cash. I don't know why you would
ever need or want to do this, but apparently now
you can pay for your student's college education or I
guess your student can pay for their own education.
Speaker 2 (41:59):
With and PayPal.
Speaker 1 (42:01):
That's all that.
Speaker 2 (42:02):
Seriously, what why? Why?
Speaker 1 (42:04):
So? Like, you know how you can pay for dominoes
with Venmoo?
Speaker 4 (42:07):
You can?
Speaker 1 (42:08):
Yeah, like all the Yeah, there's an option for you
to select Venmo on it. Wow, I guess it's gonna
be the same out like your student portal. It's insane.
Speaker 4 (42:15):
Well, you know what, some people do keep high amounts
in their Venmo accounts, and Venmo kind of feels like
free money since it's money that hasn't actually hate your
bank accounts. So it's like, Okay, maybe we went out
to dinner and I fronted the bill on my card
and let's say it was two hundred bucks, and everybody
else venmo be back. So maybe now I have one
hundred and fifty dollars in my Venmo that never hit
(42:35):
my bank account even though I paid it. It feels
like it's extra free money.
Speaker 1 (42:40):
That's weird.
Speaker 2 (42:41):
I don't know if I get that.
Speaker 3 (42:42):
I don't know if I follow that one. I mean,
I know I understand what you're saying, but I just
can't imagine having ten thousand dollars in a Venmo of PayPal,
not ten thousands waiting for college.
Speaker 4 (42:51):
For college, maybe people are making payments of like thirty
eight dollars.
Speaker 2 (42:56):
It's also a little more secure for you.
Speaker 1 (42:58):
If you don't want to give your bank hell routing
number anything to the public, university or whatever, you can
just pay through Venmo, which is already attached to your
bank account.
Speaker 4 (43:06):
It feels scarier to pay with Venmo or PayPal. I
would rather have the university have my banking of Venmo.
Venmo feels like it would be easier to hack.
Speaker 2 (43:15):
Has your banking information, right, right, right.
Speaker 4 (43:17):
But if we're talking about safety, like the school seems
safer than Venmo.
Speaker 3 (43:21):
Just legitimacy, it seems strange of your school going.
Speaker 2 (43:25):
You can venmo me if you want. We'll be fine.
Speaker 3 (43:28):
Man, Matt Wilkinson, you ever heard this name Fletcher? You
probably if anybody in the room has heard of him,
it might be it sounds familiar. He is a pitcher
for the San Francisco Giants. He made his debut yesterday.
Speaker 2 (43:40):
Big yeah. They call him tugboat. He's a chunkster.
Speaker 3 (43:43):
It's two hundred and fifty pounds. A left hander is
fastball's ninety miles an hour. His slider is not great.
But he throws something they call an invisible which is
basically just a baseball term for a pitch that batters
for some reason can't hit. Have not figured him out,
So he just did two innings yesterday, scoreless innings, hitched
(44:03):
a gym, essentially, as he made his major league baseball debut.
I love these kind of stories where this is, this
is the improbable, this guy shouldn't be here.
Speaker 1 (44:11):
He big boy, big boy, big boy. Yeah, this guy's juicy.
Speaker 2 (44:15):
This is what That's my kind of man, to be honest,
why I haven't seen him A thick but I like
thick left handed pitcher.
Speaker 1 (44:22):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (44:22):
I haven't seen this band, but I like a guy
with some meat on his bones.
Speaker 3 (44:27):
Okay, all right, all right, Well you're in good company
because we got SeaWorld tickets.
Speaker 2 (44:33):
I don't know, I don't know why.
Speaker 3 (44:34):
I went with that, but we have SeaWorld tickets, a
family four pack of SeaWorld tickets, and SeaWorld San Diego's
bayside bands, brew and barbecues happening right now. In fact,
if you go to SeaWorld San Diego dot com, you
can grab an annual pass, which you may want to
do because you want to get all of it. In
the summer nighttime and animal experiences are happening. This drone
show they have out there that's basically world famous at
(44:55):
the moment.
Speaker 2 (44:56):
Go see this thing. Go see Uncle.
Speaker 3 (44:58):
Cracker this weekend with Kat Gosh eight at eight five seven.
Speaker 2 (45:01):
Oh one O one five.
Speaker 3 (45:02):
If you're caller number ten, you win that family four
pack right now on the kgb Oh, this is cool,
this is very very cool. It's one of one five
KGP it's big rich TD and Fletch, and we've had
some new friends roll into town here. In fact, the
Ringling Circus is coming to town. So this is September eleventh.
They get here, they're gonna be out of a chang arena.
But before they get here, Ringling's hype crew comes in. Okay, yeah,
(45:25):
there it is there. It is one either there from
the hype crew.
Speaker 6 (45:29):
You guys.
Speaker 2 (45:29):
You guys are dressed room press one. Absolutely. This is
that's how we roll.
Speaker 3 (45:33):
That is how you roll. So you come in. There's
unicycles there.
Speaker 6 (45:36):
We got unicycling, acrobatic break dancing that's right, double whammy,
and a handstand master and juggling, which you know one
of you showed us, but you got some skills already.
Speaker 2 (45:47):
Flesh is an impressive juggler. It turns out it really is,
really is.
Speaker 1 (45:51):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (45:52):
So right before you got here, Fletch says, I'm going
to challenge one of them to juggler. I thought, wow,
it's some that's pretty big of you.
Speaker 2 (46:00):
Wow wow Amy Hide.
Speaker 6 (46:02):
Yeah, anational circus performer and you want to challenge them.
Speaker 1 (46:05):
Well, right, it would be cool to see someone who's
really good at juggling, and I might be able to
subtly impress someone by juggling, like some beans.
Speaker 3 (46:14):
We do have several cans of beans left over from
a cat's return party. And Janita saw the cans of
beans and went, it's good idea have beans on hand.
Speaker 2 (46:22):
You know, you never know, you need academy. You never know.
Speaker 3 (46:27):
Yeah, you could have to make a salad at some
point that requires only beans total.
Speaker 2 (46:34):
I think we need to specify.
Speaker 4 (46:35):
Though Fledged did not win a challenge of juggling, was
able to juggle?
Speaker 2 (46:40):
This is correct, Cat. The entire room was clappy. Yes,
but you didn't win a challenge.
Speaker 4 (46:45):
If you actually went versus Chen and he's like the
professional juggler, Chin would beat you.
Speaker 1 (46:51):
This is this is This is how you know Chen
is better than you.
Speaker 3 (46:55):
He carries around balls for juggling. All right, you you
don't bring your own balls. I should start.
Speaker 6 (47:04):
Instead of the cannis. It's going to be a juggling.
We do you to tell us about the hype crew.
It's in the name, y'all. It's exactly what we're doing here.
We come ahead up the big Ringling circus to hype
everybody up to do radio interviews, TV and show you
guys here in town. Just a little sneak peak of
what you can expect.
Speaker 2 (47:23):
From the greatest show on Earth.
Speaker 6 (47:25):
So we have the honor and pleasure of being able
to bring Circus into elementary schools, boys and girls clubs,
that kind of thing, so kids can be exposed to
Circus and for a lot of them, it's their first
time seeing us perform, and then being able to tell them, y'all,
if you want to see more of this, because this
was just a little sneak peek, then you got to
come check out the big show. And like you mentioned earlier,
(47:47):
it's going to be at Pachanga here in San Diego
in September. So being able to tell the kids that
and they be like, wait a minute, I can see
a human rocket. I can see a criss cross trap peas.
Hold on, yeah, exactly, and that's exactly what's coming into town, y'all.
Speaker 3 (48:03):
How how wide is the rocket? Could it git a
flood size human?
Speaker 6 (48:09):
You know, I'm going to very gently disabuse you have
the notion of going into the rocket. Sorry, get in
the rocket show.
Speaker 2 (48:21):
I did not say any of those words. They always
do this no matter what you say. They're like you
called us that.
Speaker 6 (48:28):
No, Yeah, Skyler is the human rocket and she it's
really great.
Speaker 2 (48:34):
She actually comes from a family of human rockets.
Speaker 6 (48:36):
Both parents, I know, Manet, isn't it incredible?
Speaker 2 (48:41):
Both her parents are were.
Speaker 6 (48:42):
Human rockets as well in previous circus performances. And so
she gets shot out of this thing at the end
of the show, and it's like the highlight of the show. Right,
So when she gets shot out, she goes over sixty
miles per hour across the entire arena, no strings attached,
and every single time.
Speaker 2 (48:58):
It is like, yeah, how does she land?
Speaker 6 (49:02):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (49:02):
She lands in this giant airbag. So kind I wish they.
Speaker 6 (49:05):
Could try it, but I don't have the training and
I definitely don't have the skills.
Speaker 2 (49:09):
But it looks like so much fun. Yeah, she may
looks so.
Speaker 6 (49:12):
Easy as she's just like lying beautifully, gracefully through the
air and then she lands and then just pops right
back up.
Speaker 2 (49:19):
I really think, how could do it?
Speaker 1 (49:21):
It might be out at forty miles an hour, not sixty,
but I think I can handle it.
Speaker 2 (49:25):
You do it, You can at least do it once?
Speaker 1 (49:27):
Yeah, one time, one time, one time.
Speaker 2 (49:31):
Nothing to do with this.
Speaker 3 (49:33):
Why need the there's a unicycle in here? Yes, absolutely,
And apparently the showman can unicycle and jump rope with the correct.
Speaker 6 (49:41):
I mean he started. So Zeke is from Minnesota. He
actually went to a circus school and starting at seven
years old.
Speaker 2 (49:48):
Yeah, so they have circus school they do. Do they
have ryots your head? No, no they don't. That's a
different school.
Speaker 6 (49:55):
Yeah, but yeah, there are circus schools and acrobatic schools,
and that's something that as the high crew we like
to talk about when we talk to the kids and
we tell them, hey, you know, Zeke started training when
he was seven out of circus school. Chen also went
to an international arts school in Beijing. Seki trained in
tom Zania in an acrobatic school.
Speaker 2 (50:14):
So there are.
Speaker 6 (50:14):
Resources if this is something that you want to just
even try, just to try out. You know, it doesn't
mean you're going to become a professional circus performer, but
just try it out. And it's one of those things
that as kids learn how to maneuver and work out
problem solving like physically or.
Speaker 2 (50:31):
Well how can I do a cart? Well how can
I do this thing?
Speaker 6 (50:33):
They get just more confidence in themselves, you know. So
that's a really beautiful thing to see.
Speaker 3 (50:39):
The tom Zanian Devil was my favorite Mooney Tunes characters.
Speaker 2 (50:43):
He's the one.
Speaker 1 (50:43):
You are that terrible we usually said about last.
Speaker 6 (50:49):
I should we make him take a lab on the
UNICYCLEA die?
Speaker 2 (50:58):
It's over with well.
Speaker 3 (50:59):
I appreciate you guys being here, appreciate the hype, and
let's hype hype up the listeners here with the four packet.
Speaker 2 (51:04):
Tickets to go see the all new.
Speaker 3 (51:06):
Ringling Brothers and Barna Bailey the Greatest show on Earth
Circus with special guest the Ninja Kids, Yes September eleventh.
Get ready for non stop flips, laughs and wow. You
can get tickets at Ringling dot com or be coolor number?
What number would you like?
Speaker 1 (51:22):
Wan Ita?
Speaker 6 (51:22):
Ooh, you know what, Let's go number fourteen?
Speaker 2 (51:25):
Why not?
Speaker 1 (51:25):
Thank god? I wanted you to say one thousand answer
the phone twenty four and a half.
Speaker 2 (51:32):
That's gonna be hard. Let's stick with fourteen.
Speaker 3 (51:34):
Number fourteen, eight and eight five seven oh one O
one five. You are gonna go.
Speaker 2 (51:37):
Let's let's head up to the parking lot. Let's do
some stunts. Okay, let's do it.
Speaker 3 (51:42):
Wringling Brothers, Barnum and Bailey. Thank you to the Hype crew.
Thanks guys for coming in. You guys, thank you for
having us.
Speaker 2 (51:47):
Whoa, let's go. What a day it's been. What a
day it's been.
Speaker 3 (51:50):
Congratulations to Caleb out in Vista and won those Ringling
Brothers circus tickets and man oh man. So we had
the hype crew in here for the Ringling Brothers. We
go out in the whole away with the unicycle and
then they tried to put Fletch on the unicycle.
Speaker 2 (52:03):
Who you said, you're fresh off of a broken ankle?
Speaker 1 (52:07):
I said two years?
Speaker 4 (52:08):
He did say two years, fresh off years, like you're
probably pretty heeled, heeled. I just didn't want to get
on the unicycle. Yeah, And they made me get on
the unicycle anyways, and I almost fell and broke my
other one.
Speaker 2 (52:20):
Yeah, that looked dicey.
Speaker 1 (52:21):
And Boss Noreen was in there like you could tell
she all she was thinking was workers Company.
Speaker 3 (52:25):
Yeah yeah, yeah, I thought you were going to take
a header right into a cubicle.
Speaker 2 (52:28):
I mean you you fell fast.
Speaker 1 (52:30):
Luckily I had cat like reflexes to save myself. Yeah,
you did cat like reflex flexes?
Speaker 3 (52:36):
Was cat standing in front of you who basically caught
you on the way down?
Speaker 2 (52:41):
Sure? Yeah, I took the fall for you it was.
Speaker 4 (52:44):
It was nearly Actually, I would have tried to get
on the unicycle, however, it was too tall, like it
was the tall one, and my legs wouldn't have I
would have reached the pedals.
Speaker 2 (52:52):
From the scene, does thee not go up and down?
I guess not. I would think it would be adjustable.
Speaker 1 (52:57):
I don't know. But then Homie got on the unicycle
and started jumping over people.
Speaker 2 (53:00):
Very very cool. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that he did put
you to shame. That was cool. I didn't catch his name.
Never touched a unicycle before I came.
Speaker 3 (53:07):
I have never touched a unicycle either. I've never seen
a unicycle in real life.
Speaker 4 (53:10):
I have seen one because one of my best friends
rode a unicycle. Growing up, she was in a circus
and for my birthday party a couple of years ago.
Speaker 2 (53:20):
One of your best friends was in a circus. Huh?
Speaker 6 (53:23):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (53:23):
Did she get recruited at the elementary school? I don't
know how that came to be.
Speaker 4 (53:27):
Actually, and her family, like her siblings, were also in
the circus, and she rode a unicycle. A couple of
years ago, I hosted a talent show for my birthday party,
so all my friends had to come to the beach
to my birthday party with a talent in hand. And
she bought a unicycle off a Facebook marketplace because obviously
she got rid of hers when she left the circus
as a child.
Speaker 2 (53:46):
Yeah, when you leave the circus, you leave the unicycle there.
Speaker 4 (53:49):
Yeah, but you know what, the unicycle skill never leaves you,
because she was able to ride it up and down the.
Speaker 2 (53:53):
Boardwalk just fine. It's like riding a bike. She won
second place in the talent show.
Speaker 1 (53:57):
Wait who won first?
Speaker 5 (53:58):
My friend who came up the rap the cycle?
Speaker 2 (54:03):
The rap was probably Chatgybt.
Speaker 4 (54:05):
No, no, this was two years ago. Chatchy Bet wasn't
even really a thing. She she wrote the rap herself,
and she did it to the cadence of a Drake song.
So obviously that was not She was pan and the
rap was about me.
Speaker 2 (54:17):
So oh wait, were you the only one voting? Yeah?
Speaker 4 (54:20):
I was the judge. It was my birthday party. There's
one judge and it's you.
Speaker 1 (54:24):
Yeah, so you chose a song that glorified you instead
of choosing someone.
Speaker 2 (54:29):
That had a talent. You made your friends come up
with a bit.
Speaker 1 (54:35):
Yeah, I did what the worst birthday birthday party ever? Year?
Speaker 2 (54:38):
I enjoyed it.
Speaker 1 (54:40):
You're like the uh, I don't know the king or
something and uh in Lord of the Rings making your
court gesture.
Speaker 2 (54:48):
Entertain me. It was a little bit uh, it was
a little bit narcissistic, probably.
Speaker 4 (54:53):
But you know what, the people enjoyed it, and so
did everybody else on.
Speaker 1 (54:56):
The beach that needs a boyfriend, honestly, someone to tell
her bad idea, a bad idea.
Speaker 2 (55:02):
Man, Head to seven eleven, see if there's any guys.
Speaker 5 (55:03):
Left there work now at nine?
Speaker 3 (55:07):
Well they're at work, Yeah, off one one, five kg,
B Big Rishidi and Fledg on a Thursday and tonight
you can come hang out with us, Kat, What are
you doing tonight?
Speaker 2 (55:22):
I am so busy, guys? What what time are you?
What time are you guys hanging out? What time are
you busy? Right before you guys are hanging out? So
right after.
Speaker 1 (55:35):
CD we are literally doing everything that Kat doesn't do, everything,
literally everything.
Speaker 2 (55:41):
What do you guys get up to?
Speaker 3 (55:42):
We are going to be down at K and B
b stro tonight this evening, I should say, at five o'clock.
Speaker 1 (55:47):
I thought it was six.
Speaker 3 (55:49):
Adjusting my plans, well, I thought it was six until
I watched a video let's double check the time on that,
but we'll make sure.
Speaker 2 (55:57):
We get it right.
Speaker 1 (55:58):
You keep talking, I'll look at the time.
Speaker 2 (56:00):
William H.
Speaker 3 (56:01):
Macy is going to be there, friend of the show.
Hung out with us for a couple hours and on
a bark cart. I think we made it a Thursday
when he stopped him.
Speaker 2 (56:08):
Uh huh.
Speaker 3 (56:09):
And he's going to be I was gonna say hockeying
is wares, but he's not.
Speaker 2 (56:14):
Really.
Speaker 3 (56:14):
He's going to be popping some bottles of his Woody
Creek distillery. And it's gonna be paired with some steaks,
all right, some fun food there. It can be bistro,
and then there's also gonna be cigars involved, so it's
it's gonna be quite the night. If you want to go,
you go to kanbbistro dot com to sign up. That's
that's where you can find tickets for this thing. But
we're gonna be there at some point between five and
(56:37):
six pm.
Speaker 1 (56:37):
The website does say from six to eight, but I'm
guessing we need to be there a little early, so
I would say five o'clock is safe, and then you
can kind of peruse a little bit.
Speaker 4 (56:44):
No, here's the I'm busy at like four fifty.
Speaker 2 (56:48):
Yeah, yea, yeah yeah yah.
Speaker 1 (56:49):
Yage Macy is one of the coolest people we've ever
had in this studio. I was expecting like the bigger
than life Frank Gallagher who plays on the show Shameless,
or the guy from Pargo. It's very different. He was
one of the most normal, chill, just really grateful to
be here.
Speaker 3 (57:05):
I loved it. He was a very very down to
earth normal guy.
Speaker 1 (57:10):
Yeah. He talks about his wife all the time and
how much fun they have in their little property that
they have. O.
Speaker 3 (57:16):
I love him like I love him. He was so cool,
so nice. I'm sure he'll be signing bottles. I don't
know that for a fact.
Speaker 1 (57:24):
But he actually has a bunch of already signed. So
he's also like very easy to talk to.
Speaker 3 (57:29):
Absolutely and if you would like to go meet him.
K and B Bistro this evening Kagan Bottle del Sero.
So it's right off college in the eighth But yeah,
we're gonna be there. We don't know if Rich will
be there because we did get an invite and he
didn't respond.
Speaker 4 (57:44):
Well, he doesn't check his emails, so that's why it
was via text.
Speaker 2 (57:48):
Oh, he doesn't check those either that's not good. That's
not good. So we don't know. It's a mystery, but
we will find out.
Speaker 3 (57:55):
So hopefully you can be there, Like I said, kanbbistro
dot com. That's where you go if you'd like to
buy a ticket and come down and hang with us
and smoke some.
Speaker 2 (58:02):
Cigars and drink some whiskey with w M H. Macy.
Speaker 3 (58:05):
We got some stay or play coming up? Will I
stay at Valley Vue or play in San Diego?

Yes, Tonight is the North Park Farmers Market. Because it's
every Thursday evening, don't they run out of farmers. Guess

Well, they'll have vegetables and eggs and meat and seafood
and bread and pastries and yogurt and cheese and sauces
and coffee and specialty treats and soap and candles.

I currently have a loaf of bread sour oat bread
and my fridge from the little Italy farmer's market.
Speaker 3 (01:02:26):
Go ahead and stay on this one again. We'll go
two weeks in a row. I did not know this
happened every weekend. Turns out, not only from you saying it,
I couldn't trust the words from your mouth, but apparently
it's happening again. We do know that vegetables are poisoned now, okay,
eggs are tainted.
Speaker 4 (01:02:42):
Then though, the ones from our local farmers. That's why
you should go to your farmer's market every week can
get your produce.
Speaker 1 (01:02:46):
Our local farmers are the ones who got busted, the
ones that they got busted for the bad eggs. I
do actually think if TD went to one farmer's market,
he would really like it.
Speaker 2 (01:02:56):
I have been to a farmer's market. Yeah, because you
like shopping TD, you love it. I don't like a
farmer's market. That's all I'm saying. I mean, what am

us tomorrow. And unfortunately, I'm I'm assuming Cat you will
not be wearing the snakeskin jacket tomorrow.
Speaker 2 (01:03:43):
I'm not gonna wear two days in a row. That
would be insane, but it looks for a rock star.
I could wear two days in a row. I don't
wash this. Did you wear the jacket because your tank
top underneath was not washed? A little nerdy.
Speaker 4 (01:03:53):

Speaker 1 (01:04:13):
You're yesterday?
Speaker 2 (01:04:16):
What is going on? I do feel like rich wearing
close to work that I wore to bed, but this
TikTok was. It isn't normally a nighttime tank top, but
I just wore it last night, and so I woke
up late this morning. I was like, I'm just keeping
this tank top on and I'm gonna throw the snakeskin
jacket over top.
Speaker 1 (01:04:30):
Cat's back, ladies and gentlemen, Cat's back.
Speaker 2 (01:04:33):

long lonely road,
