Speaker 1 (00:06):
What d is it me Thursday, Big Rich, TD, Fletch
and Cat and you know, damn well there's a pH
in our fast.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
I know it's a thick boy Thursday.

Speaker 1 (00:22):
Let's make some noise a morning made especially the Thiket boys.
When for sports you can trust you, there's one place
to be.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
Our Twitter is definitely current. Go look and see.

Speaker 3 (00:36):
Oh nobody go in the bathroom for about thirty five
five minutes.

Speaker 2 (00:40):
Happy Thursday to those who celebrate.

Speaker 4 (00:42):
It's Big Rich TD in Fletch and welcome in. I'm
big Rich got TD, my companion for life, my dog
Bark Bark.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
Sitting to my right on.

Speaker 4 (00:53):
The board is Fletcher is always and newly acquired from
the disabled list.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
Cat Fisher is joining us once more.

Speaker 4 (01:03):
I l oh, but we called her back up. She
was doing some she was doing some injury assignments with
Triple A l Passo, and so we called her back
to the bigs.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
All right.

Speaker 4 (01:16):
So, actually, speaking of Kat, since she's walked through the door,
our list of to doo's has increased.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
You heard it in that show open there.

Speaker 4 (01:24):
She did that our Twitter and said, you guys haven't
tweeted since June and.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
Got tweeted before long before that you had just tweeted.

Speaker 5 (01:32):
It was no, no, no, it was it was our
interview with uh Jimmy Johnson.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
Oh yeah, yeah, that one actually did really well. Yeah yeah,
that one out. Yeah, we went out on a good one.
Yeah it was. It was with a good note.

Speaker 4 (01:45):
And honestly, like that's kind of what I think our
Twitter should be is just once a year when Jimmy
Johnson comes back to town, we just throw up something
about that.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
By the way, we just retweet Jimmy Johnson's tweets.

Speaker 5 (01:58):
Any coincidence that Jimmy Johnson comes on our show and
then he's now the first guy, first race car driver
ever to get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Speaker 4 (02:08):
Oh see see what I like to call that, Big
Rich TD and flesh Pop. Yeah, so Jimmy, I am
totally expecting the same for Drake Bell. He's going to
get a star next, no doubt about him. All Right, So,
speaking of kat And, we have tons to get to today,

(02:29):
including we're gonna win your way into guns and Roses.

Speaker 2 (02:33):
We have Luke Bryan tickets for you to win.

Speaker 4 (02:37):
We have to get to this topic because this occurred
yesterday Fletch and unbeknownst to one of us, my goodness,
Kat has a bone to pick idea.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
Oh yeah, man.

Speaker 4 (02:49):
I, me and TD witnessed it, Fletch, you were here, sad,
but yeah, what she did was unacceptable. So Kat walks
in two days ago, and we celebrate her, We make
the show about her, We invite a special guest, and
she looks at the three of us, and I think,

(03:11):
with wide eyed wonderment, she went, how could these three
know me so well and also miss the marks so badly?

Speaker 2 (03:20):
With my first day back at work?

Speaker 5 (03:22):
That feels right, That feels Then the next day, uh huh.

Speaker 4 (03:25):
She started complaining about all the things we didn't do
while she was gone.

Speaker 5 (03:28):
This is this is correct. I'm just one day here
is all it took. Because it was the next morning.

Speaker 6 (03:35):
I did make a complaint to the three of you
and to the other station that I oversee that neither no, no.

Speaker 4 (03:42):
You can into the lowest rung on the ladder with
the other station.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
You didn't speak to the show You need to speak
to the show host.

Speaker 6 (03:50):
About it, well, because the guy that I talked to
is the one that is in charge of doing it,
and nobody has tweeted in the last two months.

Speaker 4 (03:57):
Because the guy who was in charge of doing it
was home sick cat.

Speaker 7 (04:04):
There you go, yeah, take alright, so check this out.

Speaker 2 (04:09):
Not only did she do.

Speaker 4 (04:10):
All that, but then she immediately started throwing barbes at
one of us for something that quite frankly, if we
had an HR in this company, they take umbrage with this.

Speaker 3 (04:21):
I'll tell you, my feelings are hurt, and I wonder
if a conversation needs to be had.

Speaker 2 (04:25):
Okay, So what.

Speaker 4 (04:26):
Happened was we were all asked by one of our
promotional team to all participate in a social media video
that may or may not later be posted.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
I kind of hope it doesn't, okay, So I'm kind
of with you on that.

Speaker 4 (04:40):
So what ends up happening is we all had a
quote unquote sit in the hot seat and answer a question,
and so me and TD we did this immediately without hesitation.
Kat was the third person to go.

Speaker 5 (04:52):
Now, the hot seat was where Fletch sits, right behind
the board.

Speaker 2 (04:56):
Fletch sits at the board.

Speaker 4 (04:57):
For anybody who is ignorant to how radio works, there's
a giant board with a bunch of levers and buttons
and things like that he has four screens. It's kind
of the command center, the beating heart of the station
here at one one five KGB live from the front
wave Credit Union Studios. And Fletch sits in a chair
all morning long and keeps his eyes and monitors all

(05:19):
these things. And in the meantime, apparently, according to Kat,
cooks up a stench inside of the seat cushion that
sits upon, so sad that she would she did not
want to sit on your seat, Fledge, And then she
was going to lay the blanket that she uses sometimes
to block her body from whatever it is you cook

(05:40):
and bake into your seat, and then wouldn't put the
blanket down because she says, I don't want whatever's on
Fletch to touch the banket because the blanket touches me.

Speaker 5 (05:49):
So you have something you want to say, Kat, I
do believe. I do believe. As we said, what are
you doing? She said, I don't want this smell on.

Speaker 2 (05:59):
Me all day?

Speaker 6 (06:00):
I did, I say, fletchhair like what they're saying is true.

Speaker 5 (06:09):
Okay, So Fletch, whatever you've done to that chair apparently
will stain Cat's clothing with an odor that others around
the Audus will then go, what is wrong with you?

Speaker 2 (06:22):
Cats? Smell like flesh? Let me just say the chair
that you sit in, Fletch, it's a fabric.

Speaker 6 (06:31):
It's very ripped up, like the stuffing is literally coming
out of the chair.

Speaker 3 (06:35):
I sit in, and Clint sits in every day. Clint's
every hot plant. I don't think that's the one that
you refuse to sit on.

Speaker 2 (06:41):
Well, I didn't want the smelly chair.

Speaker 3 (06:46):
You have told us what now? You don't want to
know what we did to your chair while you were gone?

Speaker 4 (06:50):
Cat?

Speaker 3 (06:51):
Oh my god, right, there have been naked man butt
cheeks on your chair.

Speaker 2 (06:55):
Nervous about that. That chair has been through a lot, Fletch.

Speaker 6 (06:58):
You have told us that every time you sneed no,
You've told us that every other time that you.

Speaker 2 (07:04):
Sneeze, sneeze it in here, Kat, I'm.

Speaker 6 (07:07):
Just saying, you can hold a stench in a fabric chair.

Speaker 2 (07:11):
And I don't want. I didn't want. He's going to
give it.

Speaker 4 (07:14):
He's picking up the sea.

Speaker 5 (07:18):
Now.

Speaker 2 (07:19):
Rich is gonna go nose to see what do you think.

Speaker 5 (07:20):
Flet Okay, Rich is going nose to seat to give
it the inspection, and.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
Wow, does is it really? Wait? Hold on, I'm not
putting my nose. Wait what what what? You don't fark
for breeze? Do you take it? So Fletched?

Speaker 3 (07:36):
I don't.

Speaker 2 (07:39):
Weird?

Speaker 4 (07:40):
No, no, no, this is a t D and Rich discussion.
Only Fletch had no idea we were going to do this.

Speaker 2 (07:46):
He did not.

Speaker 4 (07:46):
Fletch easily easily could have had the worst warning of
hygiene possible. This was all unnosed him. True, we don't
know what's happened this morning. He could have cooked something
up nasty over there. And we know that Fletch gets wedding.

Speaker 5 (08:00):
Oh oh gosh, so swam nose.

Speaker 4 (08:05):
I I just went over there, and I was expecting
something rough.

Speaker 2 (08:10):
I'm not even kidding you. That chair smells like body wash?

Speaker 3 (08:13):
What you know what? Because I showered and used body
wash like I do every day.

Speaker 4 (08:16):
Can doubt that you say that chair smells better than
I smell in general.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
And that's just where his buns go.

Speaker 5 (08:25):
Now, Clint did sit in it last I guess before
Fletch did.

Speaker 3 (08:29):
Ione sited it since five point five this morning.

Speaker 2 (08:32):
I don't know how. I don't know how long it
takes for smells to take place in the chair. I
don't know.

Speaker 3 (08:36):
I've never Okay, I can't just know you've hurt my feelings.

Speaker 6 (08:39):
It's possible that he made an unfair judgment against your chair.

Speaker 2 (08:43):
Fled.

Speaker 3 (08:43):
No, I want you to put nose on chair. You
might have to just to make this right.

Speaker 4 (08:50):
All I'm saying is like, like, okay, it's actually something
that my my son Sebastian used to say to us
when he was like two years old, learning the speech.

Speaker 2 (09:01):
You've hurt his feelings and you have broken his heart.
That's the first thing that back. It was among his
first words. And I think you a fletch an apology.

Speaker 4 (09:12):
Ladies and gentlemen, behold a man whose Mediterranean ten has
now become darker than several legally recognized woodstains. He's survived
on caffeine and sunscreen and just enough calories to keep
his organs from failing in preparation for a European vacation

(09:33):
that he's finally back from after this internationally modeling debut.
Somewhere in Italy, there's a linen shirt that just shuddered.

Speaker 2 (09:42):
And a plate of pasta that just whispered he's coming home.

Speaker 4 (09:48):
Hide the carbohydrates, he's still off of them. Oil the thighs.
They're still chafing and prepare for.

Speaker 2 (09:55):
The continental impact.

Speaker 3 (09:56):
That is the flesh. Yeah, we're fletch talk sport man.
You know me better than that. I'd never wear sunscreen.
It's a myth.

Speaker 8 (10:05):
Hey.

Speaker 3 (10:05):
An attorney representing Washington Commander's quarterback Jaden Daniels has informed LSU,
his former school, that they can no longer use his name, image,
and likeness, according to an August fifth letter Sentin Tigers
athletic director, because LSU has allowed someone else to wear
his number five jersey. Oh Now, Jaden Daniels won the
Heisman Trophy his final year at LSU.

Speaker 2 (10:27):
It was a very very good season.

Speaker 3 (10:29):
But the root of this complaint is that Joe Burrow's
number nine jersey, which has never been worn again at
LSU since his Heisman winning National championship season, is considered
to be not retired but retired. You know, Jaden daniels
number five jersey is just open for anybody.

Speaker 2 (10:45):
But what's weird about this is now both of them
were transfers.

Speaker 4 (10:48):
Joe Burrow started at Ohio State to forget where Jaden
Daniels started at. But he finished at LSU like Burrow did.
He didn't win a National Champapionship. And also, like, by
the way, that was a great season for LSU.

Speaker 2 (11:02):
It was just better.

Speaker 3 (11:03):
His statistical season was better than most other quarterbacks that
year that Joe Burrow, to me is historically considered one
of the greatest quarterback seasons of college football history.

Speaker 4 (11:12):
Well yeah, yeah, I mean, and that's the reason why
he got drafted so high. And that's the reason why
the Cincanity Bengals, who are a terrible franchise, have somehow managed.

Speaker 2 (11:23):
To have success. It's all because of Joe Burrow.

Speaker 4 (11:25):
Jayden Daniels, I mean, he had a good rookie season,
right his sophomore year, got injured.

Speaker 2 (11:30):
You could use that as an excuse.

Speaker 4 (11:31):
But in the NFL, like he's kind of like, yeah,
if you were in.

Speaker 3 (11:36):
The locker room with a guy like this rich and
a story like this came out where he was complaining
about something as college was doing for something that was
just very like not all that crazy anyways. Is there
some words that need to be had? Oh no, I
tease him relent thank you, That's what I'm saying. Yes,
Like this sounds like somebody who didn't get messed around
by his friends enough growing up when he when he
finished a milk cart and at the lunch table would

(11:57):
be like, give me that.

Speaker 4 (11:58):
I'm like, nobody going to be like, I've drunk out
of this milk car. Never again, I would said it
on my high shelf of does did you see that
milk card that's retired? Now it's nobody time I have
milk cart speaking got the NFL.

Speaker 3 (12:09):
The Eagles social media intern maybe looking for a new job.
I don't tell cat. At least they're posting on social media. Yesterday,
on the official Eagles Twitter account, they posted a super
slow mo video a franchise quarterback Jalen Hurts, dropping back
to make a throw. He unleashes a beautiful spiral down
the center of the field that lands directly in the
hands of a defender.

Speaker 2 (12:29):
It was an interception. It was a pick six. Now
this may be a first for me.

Speaker 3 (12:32):
Not a training camp interception those happen every day, but
one that is so clearly looking like it's a highlight
reel for the guy who's in charge of a multi
billion dollar organization. In Jalen Hurts making a pretty bad
mistake in four K vision? What is the social media
team thinking?

Speaker 2 (12:49):
Yeah, why did they post that?

Speaker 6 (12:50):
It's so weird you have so many Okay, maybe whoever
the social media manager is has a little bit of
a vendetta against him.

Speaker 2 (12:57):
It's weird how the Eagles treat Jalen Hurts. Yeah, I
guarantee you.

Speaker 5 (13:01):
I guarantee you that the social media person is just
a guy like me and went and saw the video
and went, oh, here's one of him throwing Yeah, he
did not watch the India.

Speaker 2 (13:09):
Ye it could be.

Speaker 4 (13:11):
I'm telling you that that's closer to the truth. So
when you are a team, you're focused on a lot
of things. One of the lowest, lowest priorities is like,
all right, how do we handle social media? It's going
to be like a one meeting per year, So three
hundred and sixty five days a year, it's going to
be a one meeting per year conversation between the head coach,

(13:32):
the general manager, like the powers that be in the
executive offices in the social media.

Speaker 3 (13:36):
Or media team, because you hired a twenty five.

Speaker 4 (13:39):
Year old who's in charge of correct and then they're
going to be like, just don't get us in trouble
too lately, because the entire internet's on this one, Like,
why did the Eagles treat their franchise quarterback so badly.

Speaker 3 (13:50):
It isn't just a bizarre situation, all right. The Padres,
this Padres team, the one who's been playing the last
three weeks. They just win the freaking World Series. Yesterday
it was man, the Brewers look like they were winning
the final game of the series. And that's fine. The
Padres already won the series. They won the first two
right eighth inning, Fernando Taziast Junior on second base, a
little dribbler of a ground ball down the first baseline,

(14:12):
Fernando scores. Fernando scores, Love that doesn't happen, both ninety
feet all the way to home plate to tie the game.
And then an extra innings in the eleventh it was
a little East camp Usano, who spent a lot of
the years in the minor leagues, hits the game winning
hit for the Padres. They win, and the vibes have
never been higher.

Speaker 4 (14:30):
And so they were just talking about calling up Ethan
Salas potentially for the stretch run, maybe in September, and
a lot of people are like, don't do it. You're
going to start the clock on his arbitration, and I
don't want to get into the weeds with baseball contracts,
but there's a lot of reasons not to. And all
of a sudden, Campy has a big moment in extras.
It's pretty big deal for that. By the way, the
team that they've been beating up on, well that I

(14:52):
guess they didn't beat up on him yesterday. But the Bruers,
you could.

Speaker 2 (14:55):
Man fantastics a team.

Speaker 3 (14:57):
Yeah, these Padres are the hottest team in baseball right now.
D'd up come at a better time? Oh man, I'll
tell you what.

Speaker 4 (15:03):
Two days ago, there were seven different options of beans
in this studio. Now there's a bean revolt. We'll explain
coming up next.

Speaker 9 (15:12):
It's just a tip with Big rit Uh.

Speaker 4 (15:16):
Yes, a little advice that I'd like to slide out
your way. It's yours for the taking if you want it.
If not, shove it back this way, no harm, no foul.
It's just a tip with Big Rich. And today's advice
is how to enjoy a day at the beach and
entertain the kids while you're doing it.

Speaker 2 (15:34):
So check this out.

Speaker 4 (15:35):
I devised a new plant, so we had a whole
gaggle of elementary school kids join us at the beach.
After the school day let out yesterday was an early
release day for I think all San Diego Unified school
just at schools.

Speaker 2 (15:53):
Well, you go back to school like two days ago.

Speaker 4 (15:55):
It's one day a week for all these schools that
the teachers get a half day and supposed to be
for development, like so they can I don't know, circle
the wagons and you know, collect themselves after the first
two days of school, have a cigarette.

Speaker 2 (16:08):
Yeah, that's a wine.

Speaker 4 (16:10):
So we went down to the beach and we have
recently bought some boogie boards because the kids are getting
more into riding the waves. But what I realized is
that if you tether a much longer rope to the
boogie boards, you can actually like like a mush dog.
You can run down the surf like like like as

(16:32):
if you're a speedboat and have a couple of these
kids behind you and slingshot them past you WoT into
the waves. It is one of the funniest things you'll
ever watched. These kids had a blast and I was
launching third, fourth, and fifth graders two at a time sometimes.

Speaker 2 (16:50):
Into the surf.

Speaker 4 (16:51):
Get watching them get clobbered by waves, and they just
kept coming back for more.

Speaker 2 (16:55):
It's sterical.

Speaker 6 (16:57):
Like, this is a bit of your m o bridge
like you do in pools. Now you're doing it.

Speaker 2 (17:01):
In the ocean. Where's it going to be next? Not
over a body of water?

Speaker 3 (17:05):
I mean it was he's a bogu. I now off
the bus through.

Speaker 2 (17:09):
That's true. I was gonna say that. I mean, yeah,
I guess it.

Speaker 4 (17:12):
Does usually involve a body water, but that's just because
it's safe to throw children in water.

Speaker 5 (17:17):
This actually sounds awesome, I will say. As you started
to set up what this.

Speaker 2 (17:22):
Was, I thought, this guy's a genius.

Speaker 5 (17:24):
He ties a rope around his kids and then he
just goes and sits in a chair in the sand.
So if you have one hundred foot rope, as far
as they can go, all you don't see them, just
pull on the rope.

Speaker 3 (17:36):
Yesterday on trending with CD we had all those warnings
about don't get in the ocean because the surface so high.
Kids in the ocean could be an extreme peril. And
here you are just throwing kids into way. Oh it
was so many of them. I think at one.

Speaker 4 (17:51):
Point we had one, two, three, We had about eight children,
and all the moms were sitting on the beach and
so they're like one hundred yards back. So even their
their screams the careful or he's lactose in t or
ads and sounds great whatever. But I mean I was
literally slingshotting these kids into the water. And then what

(18:12):
ended up happening is they all came back to the sand,
exhausted and got great nights sleep.

Speaker 2 (18:17):
So I did, like the heroes, march back to the car.
Went by long rope.

Speaker 4 (18:23):
Tie it to the end of the boogie bar board leash,
and you can become the speedboat and the children will
become the uh whatever you call it, like the flotation devices.

Speaker 2 (18:33):
Nice, nicely done. Yeah, it was very smart.

Speaker 4 (18:35):
All right, we've got to get back to all things
cat coming up next, I mean we we still continue
down the breakfast burrito debate. You didn't know we needed
to have, We're going to have. It's coming up next.

Speaker 2 (18:47):
Beans, Beans, the magical fruit.

Speaker 4 (18:50):
You know where fruit doesn't belong in breakfast burritos.

Speaker 2 (18:53):
Okay, so thank you. Listen.

Speaker 4 (18:57):
Beans, the lagoon that is so versatile. You can literally,
I mean you can make like pie cross out of beans.
There's a restaurants.

Speaker 2 (19:05):
Oh I mean tell me that? Oh god, yeah, I
mean I was looking it up last night because.

Speaker 4 (19:09):
I was like, gosh, we still have so many beans
left from cats first day back celebration that I mean,
you can use beans for literally anything. You can make
toothpaste out of beans. He's a weird rabbit hole.

Speaker 5 (19:22):
Have you ever tried to make a black bean burger?
Oh yeah, oh yeah, god yeah.

Speaker 4 (19:27):
And by the way, when you homemade, yeah, when you
homemade the black bean burger, it never works out the
way the frozen ones do. I never tried to frozen.
They're awful, and so you're I will save you some time.

Speaker 5 (19:42):
I went through the whole recipe and the black bean burger.
Put the thing together because I was told it tastes
like a burger. It tasted like I smashed black beans.

Speaker 2 (19:50):
Yes, which is good if you like beans.

Speaker 4 (19:53):
Well right, But if you're looking for a burger, it
is not burger ass. If you're looking for a breakfast burrito,
don't bean my burrito, bro, Thank you. I one hundred
percent agree with TD here. He brought this up earlier.
He said breakfast burritos are eggs, cheese, potato, bacon the end.
Now here's where I'll disagree a little bit. You could
convince me to add sausage.

Speaker 2 (20:14):
Could convince me to add pico de gayo. Okay, you
know you could.

Speaker 4 (20:18):
You could add some roasted veggies as long as there's
a meat involved.

Speaker 2 (20:22):
As well, you know, roasted veggies. I don't know if
I like the pepper and onions like a mushroom.

Speaker 5 (20:28):
I mean, oh yeah, maybe a mushroom. Okay, it's getting
a little wild. Mushroom wild with the mushroom. That's that again.
Mushroom feels like after eleven to me, after eleven.

Speaker 2 (20:36):
That's a good point. Yeah, that's more of a lunch fair.
I do agree. Are we brunch here? We eat breakfasting?

Speaker 3 (20:41):
And if you're going to call the breakfast burrito not
a brunch, like if we got a breakfast burrito right now,
and that's that's come from the brunch bunch we went
and we called in to not or Santana or wherever
your favorite brito spot is. What would be the ideal
breakfast brito right now, seven o'clock in the morning, Okay,
I'll tell you my my order would be like right today,
like right this second, because I kind of thinking about

(21:03):
ordering some door dash breakfast burritos. My order today would
be eggs, cheese, sausage, bacon.

Speaker 2 (21:11):
That's it.

Speaker 3 (21:11):
No potatoes this morning. I don't feel like potatoes or you.
I want more potatoes than anything else in there.

Speaker 2 (21:18):
That's crazy.

Speaker 4 (21:19):
Potato guys, you go to talk about and you only
ordered potatoes.

Speaker 2 (21:22):
Some potato.

Speaker 5 (21:23):
Man, I'm crazy. I kind of want it even out.
That's all I don't. I don't want too much of anything.
It's cheese, eggs, potato, and then bacon. That's how I
would go. Now, I'm not mad at sausage. No, I
wouldn't be mad. Who would be mad at sausage? I mean,
it's it's what the world goes around. But you put
beans in the burrito, you know what. Listen, I went
to it. I was saying this to Kat earlier.

Speaker 4 (21:44):
I was like, I go to a place where they
put refried beans on their nachos sometimes, and I say no.

Speaker 2 (21:49):
No, no, no, I'm happy with it.

Speaker 4 (21:51):
I say no, no, no, I say, you black bean
my nachos, and you use those sparingly, don't you dare
refried bean my nacho?

Speaker 2 (21:58):
I think that's the best way to do it.

Speaker 4 (22:00):
Listen, Well, we go from one food conversation to the next.
A new way to dine where nipples meet napkins, where
tablecloths meet taints, where the waiters and the water is
so wet.

Speaker 2 (22:10):
There's a city in Florida.

Speaker 4 (22:12):
Called Hollywood, and in the city of Hollywood, there is
a new way to dine. It's where nudity meets steaks.

Speaker 2 (22:23):
Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 4 (22:24):
So imagine going out to dinner and fletch. I mean,
you're a man who's still attending bachelor parties because your
whole friend group is getting married and you're probably getting
close to the tail end of this phase of life
as you make out one more left. Okay, you and
Kendall just turn thirty this past or this year back

(22:46):
in March.

Speaker 2 (22:46):
You turn thirty.

Speaker 4 (22:47):
This is the era where you're gonna be doing the
bachelor party circuit. You're gonna go to a ton of
weddings and then it ends, well.

Speaker 2 (22:55):
Ends after thirty. Yeah, all right, I guess I will
not be getting might as well be Cat Clooney single
forever he's married now I'm saying, I'm saying. Actually, you
know what be.

Speaker 4 (23:10):
Really funny though, is if you were a permanent bachelor
and every year yeah sorry, a permanent bachelorette, and every
year we ran a little, a little promo where we
try to get you dates, like the first week you
were working here, and you just constantly turn all these
men down because it works so well the first time.
The Uh would you ever consider going to a bachelor

(23:34):
party Fletch at a restaurant like one that was just
reported to have nudity and steaks combined?

Speaker 3 (23:40):
No, because it would be the guys who are all
naked sitting down eating steaks. Yeah, it's not topless servers
that would be cool. I mean it is the topless
and bottomless guests to the.

Speaker 2 (23:52):
Restaurant, but you're allowed to dine in the news.

Speaker 4 (23:55):
Yeah, completely misunderstood this story when I read it.

Speaker 2 (23:59):
You're just criving rich. Is just like a strip club.
Do guys like went for the steak? Say?

Speaker 3 (24:10):
No, This is like if the three guys in the room,
let's we've got out of this one. If the three
guys in the room were to go to this steakhouse, yes,
we'd all be bare ass sitting there eating steaks.

Speaker 2 (24:20):
This is true.

Speaker 3 (24:21):
We'd be singing dunk. The waiters would be fully dressed.

Speaker 2 (24:27):
Yeah, true, true, dude, I thought this was the opposite.

Speaker 4 (24:30):
It's all these hot waiters steaks.

Speaker 2 (24:36):
You guys enjoying this except for TD.

Speaker 6 (24:39):
I think that Flush and Rich would have a good
time going and eating a steak, enjoying it in the
in the buff.

Speaker 2 (24:45):
But this is my nightmare.

Speaker 3 (24:46):
But so you say like you would not come, You
say caveman style, like this is how our ancestors did it,
because that I could get.

Speaker 2 (24:52):
Behind like open flyer. Yes, the naked naked around the fire.

Speaker 3 (24:58):
It's it's as if our ancestors were doing it.

Speaker 2 (25:00):
They went and killed the trench between Rich and Fletch.

Speaker 6 (25:03):
You guys take any opportunity to take your shirt off,
and sometimes even like start I'm buckling your belt.

Speaker 4 (25:09):
This actually makes sense dat I will argue that I
eat most of my steaks completely nude. Anyways around the fire,
yeah yeah, I like to. I like light a small
fire in the backyard. My neighbors have complained, not to
the police, thankfully complained.

Speaker 2 (25:25):
Just to your wire. Yeah, we're to the neighbors, app
which you know.

Speaker 3 (25:29):
We The problem with this place is a lot like
my problem with Dude Beaches. It's never the people you want.
We're going to be a that's true.

Speaker 5 (25:35):
It's also it's two hundred and fifty dollars for men
to go, it's one hundred and fifty dollars for women
because they save more money. O. Yeah, that's right, that's right,
that's right. Yeah yeah, or three hundred dollars for couple.

Speaker 2 (25:45):
Oh my gosh.

Speaker 4 (25:46):
All right, Well, moving on from the food to the
rude drivers on the road. Okay, so San Diego is
cracking down in a major way. It's something you may
or may not have noticed, but it's happening all throughout
the That's next. One of the major annoyances driving on
the eight oh five, the five, the eight is occasionally

(26:09):
you're cruising along doing speed limit and maybe if you're
feeling risk a slightly above passing on the left, if
you will against the law. Oh it is, yeah, if
I I I actually just had to take a defensive
driving class for Annie. Oh you know, put me, put
me in cuffs. We committed fraud. Wait you took Yeah,

(26:32):
she got a ticket, she got a cell.

Speaker 2 (26:34):
Phone ticket, and she was like, I have to do
this course.

Speaker 4 (26:37):
And I was like, well, you let me see your
boobs every once in a while, so I'll take it
for you.

Speaker 2 (26:41):
And so that's what I did.

Speaker 4 (26:43):
So so anyways, thank you.

Speaker 2 (26:47):
So anyways.

Speaker 4 (26:48):
On the road though, when you're when you're paying attention
to the traffic rules, every once in a while you
have a couple of cars speed by you out like
mock three.

Speaker 2 (26:58):
Awful Okay, yeah, scary. Yeah, it's like kind of a breaking.

Speaker 4 (27:02):
They're diving in and out of traffic. They're obviously going
in excess to the speed limit. They're barely using their
turn signals to indicate lane changes. They're closely, narrowly avoiding accidents.

Speaker 2 (27:13):
It's awful.

Speaker 4 (27:14):
Well, San Diego Police Department California Highway Patrol launched a
major joint enforcement operation targeting illegal street racing and side
show takeovers in San Diego. It's resulted in multiple high
profile felony arrests already, vehicle impoundings, and dozens of traffic
and misdemeanor citations. Good on, you do more of it.

(27:36):
Get these idiots off the road. And I don't want
to sound like an old man shaking his fist at
the clouds, but that stuff drives me insane.

Speaker 2 (27:42):
It helps nobody.

Speaker 5 (27:44):
Well, you're not just putting yourself as a driver at risk.
I mean you could cause serious accidents to everyone around you.

Speaker 6 (27:51):
I mean, remember several months ago when we were having
all of those semi crashes, there was like four within
one week.

Speaker 2 (27:57):
A couple of them were deadly.

Speaker 6 (27:58):
I remember there was dat cam footage from one of
the accident's right here on the fifteenth of a car
doing just what you're talking about, bridge diving in and
out of cars and it hit a semi knocked him
over and it caused hours of delays for everywhere.

Speaker 2 (28:11):
And yeah, very very very very scary. Man.

Speaker 5 (28:14):
The I think that semi by the way, it was
like dangling off the side of the freeway.

Speaker 4 (28:18):
I mean, so, how many people are you putting at risk?
I supported a lot. We got trending with TD and
guns and Roses tickets coming up on a Thick Guy
Thursday where we have a fast Food anniversary to celebrate
public restroom pushback on blown out bathrooms and the most
powerful balls has been claimed one oh one to.

Speaker 10 (28:39):
Five kgv trending with TD.

Speaker 2 (28:42):
Well, the people have spoken, so man, San Diego. City
of San.

Speaker 5 (28:46):
Diego closed thirteen Mission Bay public restrooms in July as
part of budget cuts, and now they said, who Luckily
we were able to get some additional state funding. So
all the pushback from getting those bathrooms open. Worked, the
bathrooms now are reopening. Congratulation.

Speaker 6 (29:05):
How can you have public beaches in the prime of
summer with the reshrooms closed? Where are people going to
the bathroom? I'll tell you where they're popping spot and
going in the street. I literally watched it happen at
Mission Beach because there was a bathroom closed and they
couldn't hold it to get to the next bathroom.

Speaker 3 (29:22):
No love necessary, city, Well done, thank you, thank you
very much.

Speaker 2 (29:25):
No, that is very, very gross. I don't understand this either.

Speaker 5 (29:28):
You're looking for budget cuts and the best way is
to shut down the bathrooms.

Speaker 4 (29:33):
I will make one argument, like almost debate style, if
you are a parent with kids, bathrooms are complete cesspools
for drug addic homeless people.

Speaker 2 (29:43):
I will agree with that.

Speaker 4 (29:44):
So, like, one of the scariest things you'll do as
a parent is walk into a bathroom sometimes because you're like,
I have no idea if my kid's going to be
safe going going it alone, or what horrors we're going
to see together when I open this stalled door at
the beach.

Speaker 2 (30:01):
Here's how you know. It literally happened yesterday.

Speaker 4 (30:03):
I was like, here we go into the family's bathroom,
hopefully somebody's not on fentin all today.

Speaker 2 (30:08):
That's very true.

Speaker 5 (30:09):
And we walk in and whether it's water from the
ocean or whatever, the liquid is on the ground, it's
always gross. And then when you when you have kids,
you walk into those bathrooms and you go don't touch
anything because you're not gonna wash your hands on the
way out, because because.

Speaker 2 (30:26):
The sink is grosser than whatever.

Speaker 3 (30:28):
You just touched, it has to be a threat level. Midnights,
go into one of those bathrooms in the first place.

Speaker 2 (30:32):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, you would. You would almost.

Speaker 4 (30:34):
Prefer to wash your hands in the toilet because it
gets the water gets ran through it more than the
sick Yeah.

Speaker 5 (30:40):
Yeah, absolutely absolutely, Well that's not they're open though.

Speaker 2 (30:44):
Oh good, Yeah, that's fun. Man. You are not a billionaire, No,
I'm not. Someone in Illinois? Is you freaking jerk? One
person in Illinois. It won the one point.

Speaker 5 (30:57):
Zero four bo dollar Jackpod and power Ball last night,
the game's largest grand prize of this year.

Speaker 3 (31:04):
Now, I asked everyone in this room, did you do
your part? Did you buy tickets?

Speaker 2 (31:09):
Ticket?

Speaker 5 (31:09):
There guy in Illinois, because it's randomly generated every time?

Speaker 2 (31:14):
No, no, no, yeah, but this guy already got a ticket.
He could have chose the numbers from his brain. Dude, right,
we could have also randomly gone a quick pick right numbers.

Speaker 9 (31:24):
I'm on your.

Speaker 6 (31:24):
Side, fledge that we should. You can't win unless you play.
Thank you. I, however, forgot to play.

Speaker 3 (31:29):
We had the same odds as this dude in Illinois.

Speaker 5 (31:32):
Okay, but us buying a ticket doesn't stop him for
buying a ticket. He still wins, and we're gonna split
one point oh four billion dollars when I do with
that out.

Speaker 3 (31:38):
Yeah, that nothing'd be awful, dude on all three If
that is only.

Speaker 4 (31:44):
Five hundred million dollars, you can't even buy a reasonably
priced inland home for that.

Speaker 2 (31:49):
Thank you, Rich gets it. Rich gets it.

Speaker 5 (31:51):
Chick fil A they have a new menu to celebrate
their eightieth anniversary, and apparently they're bringing back a beloved
southern breakfast dish that I didn't know was on the menu.
Starting August twenty fourth, you can get yourself a chicken
and waffle sandwich will be served all day long, and
the maple flavored waffles featuring sizzling bacon strips, a tasty

(32:15):
honey butterspread, and a warm side of syrup to drizzle
on top.

Speaker 3 (32:20):
You guys don't know this about me because none of
you attended my wedding. We had chicken and waffles at
our wedding. It didn't invite me to the wedding. Didn't
even know you, dude, you didn't know me. I reach
God invited you. I did know you, but I was
like you RSVP notes. I told him to him space
I didn't. I was like, oh no, I'm not going.
I'll send you a gift. I was like, what's your address?

(32:41):
And he was like, you can just bring it in
him like, no, I cannot because it's a sex ramp.
It was great when I broke my leg, I used
it as a lift for my leg.

Speaker 4 (32:52):
You're welcome, You're welcome. It has never been used for
its intended us. All right, on what five KGB is
sending you to Guns and Roses in the Black Crows
at snap Dragon Stadium, September second show. You can get
more details at take amaster dot com or you can
call now at eight eight eight five seven oh one
O one five caller ten. We're sending you to the show,

(33:14):
all right, Coming up next, What do paddles, pickles and
fuzzy balls have in common, you'll find out I'd rather
be crummy at BMX than good at pickleball. What Travis Dale,
August twenty twenty six, twelve, twenty twenty six. You can
engrave that in stone, that opinion will never change for

(33:36):
Ghana something you would rather be a stunt biker?

Speaker 2 (33:39):
Yeah, like bad at it?

Speaker 5 (33:41):
Okayther I'd rather be bad at BMX, but it's got
a cool BMX Anyway, you would rather be bad.

Speaker 3 (33:48):
At BMX than be like, really really good at pickleball.

Speaker 2 (33:51):
That's right. What's the reason you think that pickleball is
lame TV?

Speaker 3 (33:53):
Yeah, BMX is way coolers fun. It's like they took
ping pong and said, hey, we're gonna expand this thing out.

Speaker 5 (33:58):
I agree.

Speaker 4 (33:59):
I do feel like I am like almost one of
the foosball.

Speaker 2 (34:02):
Men on the table when I'm playing pickleball.

Speaker 4 (34:05):
I know that doesn't make sense because its a racket sport,
but I feel like I feel like you're just kind.

Speaker 2 (34:09):
Of all over the place. Well, I feel like I'm
inside of a game board.

Speaker 3 (34:13):
It's also like it's a good workout while you don't
really think you're working out, which is kind of nice.

Speaker 2 (34:17):
You get nice and.

Speaker 3 (34:18):
Sweaty without really thinking about the fact that you're moving,
never really do anything.

Speaker 2 (34:21):
I think this is cool. It's like I'm working out,
but I'm not working out. TD. Have you ever actually
gone and tried to play pick a ball?

Speaker 3 (34:28):
I wish play some pickleball?

Speaker 2 (34:30):
Yeah, I as a as a lifelong tennis player.

Speaker 6 (34:33):
I also was like, pick a ball, wame never gonna
play that. Once you actually get out on the pickleball court, it.

Speaker 2 (34:40):
Actually is fun.

Speaker 3 (34:41):
Me and cat Rich and TD, let's go, Yeah, we
could pickle it up.

Speaker 5 (34:45):
So I have to go practice pickleball then, because you
guys have all played pickleball, I played like once, what
if I ride around my BMX bike while you guys
play that will some cool tracks.

Speaker 4 (34:55):
Yeah, but but well you said your direct quote was
I'd rather be crummy at BMX by Yeah, you're gonna
check out this tail whip and then you're just gonna
slam the back end of your bike in through shins. Yes,
that's right. I mean, I'm not opposed to this challenge.
I'm not a post but I feel like I would

(35:16):
have to at least try to hold him.

Speaker 2 (35:19):
Is it a racket? You call it a pick?

Speaker 10 (35:23):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (35:23):
Is it yeah, I think they do call it a paddle.
I thought it was a pickleball racket and a paddle. No,
it's a paddle racket and it's a pickle ball paddle.

Speaker 6 (35:31):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (35:31):
Yeah, yeah, Oh damn, I'm gonna I'm gonna go and
chain my bike.

Speaker 4 (35:37):
He is a regular fletchy apple seed, the man who
as he walks by and he drops the remains of
his snack items, he is actually repopulating the the environment
because he's he's dropping apple seeds everywhere he goes.

Speaker 2 (35:54):
Well, not really on this health kick.

Speaker 5 (35:57):
Yeah, but he's he's not really doing that because he's
not throwing him on the ground.

Speaker 2 (36:01):
Oh that's a good point.

Speaker 4 (36:02):
Oh yeah, which brings us to the matter of fact,
which is fletch our very own bags his apples.

Speaker 2 (36:10):
Weird. It is weird.

Speaker 3 (36:11):
I bring a ziploc bag for my apple because the
consoles in here have not been washed. So I don't like,
I'm gonna eat the apple like a man with my mouth, okay,
And so if I'm gonna do that, I'm gonna eat
the skin, which I don't want the apple that I'm
eating to be on the table.

Speaker 4 (36:27):
This makes sense. So if you wash apple at home,
and I've never done this in my life. I'll take
an apple. I'll stick it right in my pocket. I'll
take an apple. I'll throw it right in my cup holder,
in my car. I'll take an apple. I'll like if
I'm tired of hearing that, i will roll it on
the ground and then I'll pick it up like several
steps lay apple.

Speaker 2 (36:43):
Oh, thank goodness.

Speaker 6 (36:44):
Let's go back to the part where you say you
put an apple in your pocket. Rich, your jeans are
pretty tight. I don't think that you could fit an
apple in your pocket.

Speaker 2 (36:51):
I'll tell you what I can feel a lot more
than that. Wait, is that an apple in your pocket?
It's actually an orange.

Speaker 4 (36:57):
The point is that's the point is orange just have peels.
Bananas have peel. But if you're gonna eat an apple,
a pair a plum, a peach, a nectarine, a nectarine,
apro cott, you have to eat the skin.

Speaker 5 (37:12):
Your hands are all over the countertop and the console
as well.

Speaker 3 (37:15):
Yeah, dog, I washed my hands before I ate the apple.

Speaker 5 (37:17):
So you go, before you eat the apple, you go
wash your hands, you don't touch anything. You come back
and you carefully open up the bag, which was also
sitting on the conpole the apple.

Speaker 3 (37:28):
It makes a lot more sense than just bringing in
an apple and leaving it on the same place where
Cat comes and answer the phones and goes like this.

Speaker 2 (37:35):
You know what I mean? That was the motion of
picking up I put my arms. Now you're claiming that
Cat's well, I feel like this is just you. She
stabbed you in the back yesterday and now you're stabbing
her back. Hey, T call me jerdy because I said
that your chairs.

Speaker 3 (37:48):
No, it's just I wouldn't want to rub my apple
over anyone's arms and then neaed it.

Speaker 2 (37:51):
Definitely keep it away from your chair. What about bringing
in a lunch? Bring zip blog back? Same thing. That's
not the same thing.

Speaker 6 (37:59):
And ziplog bag is not really reusable, or I guess
it could be, but I doubt that you were using it.

Speaker 2 (38:03):
Already in the trash at least recyclable. Everybody knows that
you've taken trash.

Speaker 5 (38:10):
You eat the apple and then you take the core
and you do kind of the underarm fling into the bushes.

Speaker 3 (38:15):
That's also in the trash.

Speaker 2 (38:18):
Throw all your apple cores in the bushes.

Speaker 5 (38:20):
TDS, Well, I don't really eat an apple, but if
I did, that's what I would do you.

Speaker 2 (38:27):
Yeah. Yeah, he's like.

Speaker 4 (38:28):
Td Apple See see that is what I'm talking about.
Apples are great because they replace themselves. Now fletch Wood,
he's doing bagging them. That's hygienic and I support it,
but I don't know what do you think you could
vote on the pole?

Speaker 2 (38:40):
It's not that Instagram. I think it's I think it's
a behavior.

Speaker 4 (38:46):
It's all Flody bags his apples and it's we got
a pole, sho shouldn't Why not wrap them in cul
fan Coming up next, we have a special guest joining
us in studio, plus more guns and roses tickets for
you to win. It's all head on Bigger rich tdum
Fletch Aries spears.

Speaker 2 (39:03):
In studio with us.

Speaker 4 (39:05):
He's going to be a mic drop comedy tonight through Saturday.
Tonight's show and nine point thirty is the only one
that's not sold out. It is the only We checked
the website before he came in.

Speaker 2 (39:17):
Aries, Huh, you are killing it. I didn't even know
that San Diego is a hot crowd for you, buddy.

Speaker 7 (39:22):
I love San Diego man. It's downtown like the gas
Lamp is that what they called it?

Speaker 2 (39:26):
The gas Lamp Quarter? Yeah, and makes you want to
go home and hug your daughter. Buddy. Yeah, well, so
San Diego State.

Speaker 4 (39:34):
It's constantly ranked like one of like the sexiest schools
to go to. And remember, look, I'm forty now, just
turned this this year, and I remember being a younger
man looking at college through the lens of a younger man, thinking, oh,
that's amazing, right, you know you want to go to
the school at the hottest chicks. Now, as an older
guy who's raising children who are getting closer and closer

(39:56):
as the years go by to being in college themselves,
I think it about it completely differently.

Speaker 2 (40:01):
I'm like, those are kids, Yeah, you know what I mean.

Speaker 4 (40:03):
And it kind of makes you feel sick to you
somebody like, oh no, like you know what I mean.
But you uh, you walk in here on the heels
of a conversation we're just having before about Fletch, and
I'm very curious.

Speaker 2 (40:17):
How you handle this situation.

Speaker 4 (40:19):
So if you're so, Fletch is sitting over there, he
runs he's our co host here, and he walks in
and he has a snack for himself. He's trying to
watch his weight, he's handling his diet right, he has
a an apple a in a ziploc.

Speaker 2 (40:33):
Bag and it was only one apple in one bag,
a whole apple, not cut up.

Speaker 4 (40:38):
No, okay, just an apple in a back And so
he gets ridiculed by Cat and TD. They're like, no,
that's weird, and I'm like no, no, no, I'm like,
you're onto something because apples are hand fruits and you're
eating the skin and much differently than like an orange
or a banana. You could throw those anywhere, you know
what I'm saying, And then you peel off the peel
and then it's like a safe food to eat. But

(40:59):
the apple, you're the skin like a plumb, like a peach,
like a nectarine, like you want the.

Speaker 7 (41:03):
Skin to be I'm confused. So is he not supposed
to eat the skin? No, no, I eat the skin.

Speaker 3 (41:08):
I just want to make sure the skin isn't touching
the tables or isn't touching anything else in the world.

Speaker 2 (41:12):
My cup holder in my car, Thank you, so aries
is on fletch.

Speaker 4 (41:18):
I think it's a smart decision.

Speaker 2 (41:20):
I think it's the right thing.

Speaker 3 (41:22):
Is easily the smartest person in this room.

Speaker 7 (41:23):
Yeah, based on what's on the surface, you're taking that into.

Speaker 5 (41:28):
That's what I'm saying, you're not thinking about those nasty,
nasty paws that he's grabbing the apple with.

Speaker 2 (41:36):
I can't speak to his nastiness of his own hands.
Shook his hands, so hopefully they're good. We'll be honest
with you, and you should wash those hands.

Speaker 4 (41:44):
Yeah, no, no, he is a nasty boy, also apparently
as the nastiest chair in the studio. Another thing that's
unbeknownst to you that you'll learn right now is Kat
refused to even sit in his chair yesterday because we
were doing this social media assignment because she says she
doesn't want fletches. This is a direct quote, fletches stink

(42:05):
on her pants.

Speaker 2 (42:07):
What's going on? Do you see what I'm doing with you?
With the smell to transfer from your chair to my
g Have you ever caught him doing something foul?

Speaker 4 (42:15):
Well?

Speaker 6 (42:16):
He has told us that fifty percent of the time
that he sneezes, he also farts at the same time.

Speaker 2 (42:21):
Just human.

Speaker 4 (42:22):
I will disagree with you there, I do. I don't
think that's all humans areas. Do you do you fart
fifty percent of your sneezes in a chair? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (42:31):
Generally or in general in life? I mean you know,
you go where you have to. Okay, so all right,
maybe fletches, are you the same person? See, I'm not me.
But what you do, what you get enough, you go
somewhere else.

Speaker 6 (42:44):
No, no, but he's saying that fifty of the time
that he sneezes, it also induces a fart to happen, just.

Speaker 2 (42:51):
Like one goes with the other. Everything you might want
to get checked. That's what I said.

Speaker 4 (42:56):
I said, there's something wrong either with the epiglottis or
with the at the the colon.

Speaker 2 (43:01):
That's what I was thinking. One of the two shot
both ends.

Speaker 7 (43:05):
Yes, I'm a normal guy man, No.

Speaker 5 (43:10):
Normal se See now now the bag doesn't matter really.
If you you had one more thing, you'll explode.

Speaker 2 (43:18):
These fart and cough will no longer be with us.
We haven't we haven't even gotten the good stuff here.
We haven't even gotten the good stuff it's got. He's
got this podcast that's incredible. Uh yes, spears Is it
spears in Steinberg? Yes, I have it.

Speaker 4 (43:32):
By the way, I follow your podcast, I Love I
Love you and your co host mad TV for eight seasons,
hysterical characters.

Speaker 2 (43:40):
And maybe a movie in the future. I mean I
got one in the can, so let's let's see what happens.

Speaker 4 (43:47):
It'll come out the second sneeze more with Airy Spears
coming up next. It's Biggertch TV at Fletch one on one,
five kg b Mike Drop Comedy, San Diego Dog com
That's where you need to go right now if you
want to see Airy Spears tonight at Mike Drop. He
only has tickets available to one more show this weekend.

(44:08):
He's going to be performing tonight through Saturday. But the
nine thirty show tonight is only when you're gonna be
able to get your heat.

Speaker 7 (44:15):
But if you'll, if y'all blow up the lines and
by demand, we might add a show.

Speaker 2 (44:21):
Okay, So there we go. Listen to the people. Man
be spoken could be a pot of gold at the
end of the rainbow.

Speaker 3 (44:29):
All right, just chase it because he's working till one
am tonight.

Speaker 2 (44:35):
Tonight. I got to get to that gas lamp. You
got to look for wounded deer. Do you go out
after your shows? Come on?

Speaker 3 (44:43):
Ye?

Speaker 7 (44:44):
Because you know I hibernate during a day, so the
nighttime is my daytime.

Speaker 2 (44:49):
Yes? What's your goal to you place here in San Diego?

Speaker 7 (44:52):
I don't really have one. I just I just go
where the energy is.

Speaker 2 (44:56):
Okay, if you're going to gas Lamp tonight, go to
the Crow. It's my favorite bar. Yea, I would say that.
I'm saying very cool. Hang on, hang on? Is it cool?

Speaker 4 (45:11):
Like cool because you're pandering to Cat cool Fletchers.

Speaker 2 (45:14):
It's like it's because there are times where.

Speaker 4 (45:16):
He'll agree with Cat and then we'll all end up
going somewhere and we'll be like, why are all the
Burger's vegan burgers?

Speaker 3 (45:23):
No, you want to know why the Tipsy Crow is cool?
Because TD would hate it. Okay, it's a lot of
booty shaking. It's like I will spill my drink when
I'm there. It's a very very cool place. So you're
thinking I would hate booty shaking.

Speaker 2 (45:35):
You would hate it. I disagree with that. Depends on
who booze booty is right. If it's If it's aries,
I'm in. See there you go. What's what's cool about it? Yeah?
What is different vibes?

Speaker 6 (45:48):
There's three there's three different floors. So if you want
like throwback music, you go to the top floor. If
you want more current hip hop and booty shaking, like
fleg says, you go to the basement, and the basement
is always passed and.

Speaker 2 (46:02):
Nobody, you know, nobody knows what's going on.

Speaker 7 (46:04):
That might be too big for me. Like I'm fifty
one years old. I like something a little not too noisy. Yes,
keep the drinks flowing. And you know, when did that
happen to you?

Speaker 4 (46:14):
Okay, so when did the volume of the environment start
impacting you?

Speaker 2 (46:20):
Because I almost have like a day in mind where
it occurred to me.

Speaker 4 (46:25):
But like, when do you think that started happening to
you and changing in your life?

Speaker 2 (46:29):
Mid mid forties? It was oh wow, okay, great reason. Yeah,
I mean I'm fifty one, so.

Speaker 4 (46:37):
Yeah, I mean a couple of years ago, I find myself.

Speaker 2 (46:41):
So this last year, we went to a restaurant.

Speaker 4 (46:43):
I was trying to have a conversation and I was like,
I was like, well, I mean I can't hear anything
anybody saying at the table, and so I was like,
I'm so bothered by the music. And then but I
had that moment where it sort of felt like, you know,
like how on television shows they panned to the one
guy having like like curb your enthusiasm, you know, the
tight shot of Larry David where he's having the moment.

Speaker 2 (47:04):
I'm like, oh my god, I'm old.

Speaker 4 (47:08):
I'm like, I'm I'm about to ask the waiter if
there's any way to turn the music down.

Speaker 2 (47:12):
It's insane. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (47:14):
Ye, like a quieter bar, place where you can talk
in the conversery of people.

Speaker 7 (47:19):
Yes, and and you know the buzz of the night life.
But I don't need the banging. I don't need that
music that land.

Speaker 2 (47:26):
There's a place in gas Lamp that's going to.

Speaker 3 (47:29):
Have that seven grand in North Park. If you like whiskey,
that's the best whiskey bar in the country.

Speaker 2 (47:32):
Oh yeah, yeah, I'm a tequila guy. Wow, tequila, there's
a lot.

Speaker 4 (47:35):
If you're just doing San Diego, Yeah, yeah, you'll you'll
be able to find a place in gas Lamp.

Speaker 2 (47:39):
And also, like, are you into cigars at all?

Speaker 7 (47:42):
No? No, I never understood it. So you just put
to smoke in your mouth, swirl it around and blow
it out.

Speaker 2 (47:47):
I know, you know what I I.

Speaker 4 (47:48):
Used to notes actually pretty good. Yeah. We we do
something called barcarp Friday, and we do it every Friday
where a different brand comes in and we drink and
uh we behind the bar over there in this studio
and in our office we probably have a thousand bottles

(48:11):
of alcohol.

Speaker 2 (48:13):
That sounds like a joke.

Speaker 4 (48:14):
It's not try to get Actually before you leave, do
you want alcohol?

Speaker 7 (48:19):
You know what, man, I'm gonna try not to fall
to temptation before nine eight.

Speaker 3 (48:24):
Okay, you know what, shoot yourself, loser.

Speaker 4 (48:30):
I can't believe. Honestly it does. This is gonna sound
really really like it does. It is work some mornings
when we show up on a Friday and it was
like a long Thursday, and.

Speaker 2 (48:42):
We're like, oh my god, we have to drink in
an hour because nine am.

Speaker 7 (48:48):
I mean you guys have to like be up like
around six or something.

Speaker 2 (48:51):
Yeah. Yeah, have you ever done morning radio?

Speaker 4 (49:00):
I don't mean like as a guest, have you ever
hosted AM? I'm telling you it's the worst.

Speaker 2 (49:07):
Person. So no, I have to get up that early too.

Speaker 4 (49:10):
I'll still stay up till eleven, get five hours of
sleep because I can't rest my brain until then, and
then I wake up and then these are lovely people
I work with, but there are some mornings where I'm like,
I don't want to see anybody. Yeah, but you know what,
you gotta do it.

Speaker 2 (49:24):
They still don't pay us. Also, that.

Speaker 11 (49:30):
We can.

Speaker 2 (49:30):
We can sell the bottles and maybe make something back.

Speaker 4 (49:32):
There you go, Airy Spears. It is a pleasure as
always having you in studio. Thank you for driving. I
appreciate it.

Speaker 7 (49:38):
And uh, did you guys have the show times? I
know the rest is sold out, but yeah, you.

Speaker 4 (49:43):
Know what, let me let me pull it up mic
drop Comedy San Diego dot com check out is because
the I mean, you're working a lot this weekend over there,

Speaker 5 (50:05):
So you got seven o'clock and nine thirty tonight, Tomorrow
night and Saturday night. Everything's sold out except for the
nine thirty tonight.

Speaker 2 (50:13):
Like Harry said at the moment, All right, yeah, so
if demand is high, how's the strip club scene out here?

Speaker 11 (50:19):
Aw?

Speaker 2 (50:21):
What is it?

Speaker 4 (50:21):
Pacers, Deja Vu and Cheetahs are the three main ones?

Speaker 8 (50:26):
Is it as good as a bottle bay?

Speaker 2 (50:33):
What would you? What would your therapist say about all
this time?

Speaker 8 (50:35):
The Melfie, she's always talking about stuff that other ego
bad about the sake of.

Speaker 4 (50:39):
A base, I mean, and what about like what what's
what's Christopher been up to? Because I mean, I know
every once in a while he goes to the bottle
bing and he gets a little too uh.

Speaker 8 (50:48):
Yeah, yes, it's got dreames of making it in an
alleywood you think of us, You don't put it a
babo a straight.

Speaker 2 (50:53):
You keep that private, okay, all right, all right? And
then well, I mean, you know, but Paulie will keep
him straight.

Speaker 4 (51:00):
One thing I know about Polly Walnuts is he'll make
sure Chris Offer Moltisante.

Speaker 2 (51:04):
Always beefing about something.

Speaker 8 (51:06):
Somebody owe somebody the money, somebody got touched, that doesn't matter.

Speaker 2 (51:08):
Just make them money. Be a good art.

Speaker 3 (51:11):
I mean, if you want to go full soprando, Pacers
is probably the place, Andres got there a few years ago.

Speaker 2 (51:21):
Money sounds like a hit at Aries, we love you.

Speaker 4 (51:29):
You're welcome back any time, and obviously San Diego loves you.
Call mic drop Comedy in San Diego. Demand an extra
show and Aries you might you might be willing to
stick around for I'll deliver them. Man, There we go,
There we go. Thank you again. I always good having you.

Speaker 2 (51:45):
In one O one five kg trending with t D.
I hate this. I hate this, I hate I hate
I hate this having to say it.

Speaker 5 (51:54):
But human remains have been found in the area where
Angelica Brophy vanished last month. She's a mom, She's an
emergency room nurse. She was last seen on July sixth
at an Oceanside summer camp, where she dropped off her child.

Speaker 2 (52:07):
And then didn't pick up her child.

Speaker 5 (52:09):
The remains have not been confirmed to be her, but
they were found yesterday evening near Palomar Mountain, near where
her car was found. They didn't go investigators didn't go
search the area until this morning because it's some pretty
harsh terrain there.

Speaker 6 (52:23):
Oh, very I mean, is that an area where anybody
would hike potentially.

Speaker 2 (52:29):
I don't know. I don't know any of that. I
have no idea. It doesn't really appear. So I mean,
I will I will say this again.

Speaker 4 (52:37):
If this was just foul play, it could happen anywhere.

Speaker 2 (52:41):
At any time, right.

Speaker 4 (52:42):
But if this was a hiking accident, don't go hiking.

Speaker 2 (52:47):
I mean, nobody should do it. I always say that's
just walk around neighborhood. Well, you do need to.

Speaker 6 (52:53):
You do have to tell people, at least some one person,
where you're hiking, what time you're expected to be back,
maybe the course that you might take.

Speaker 2 (53:00):
I know, or just walk on flat land.

Speaker 5 (53:03):
But that doesn't work for Fletch either. Was that well,
he was walking on flat land when he broke his ankle.

Speaker 2 (53:08):
Oh, that is true.

Speaker 3 (53:09):
Just beware of acorns. It's a serious it's so ademic.

Speaker 5 (53:12):
I'm gonna say, I drove by the area where you
allegedly slipped and fell.

Speaker 2 (53:18):
I didn't see any acorns. What do you mean allegedly?

Speaker 4 (53:21):
I mean there is in I don't know. Simply put,
there is in a single oak anywhere near that la.
That's what I'm saying. That's what I'm saying. Yeah, we
worry about.

Speaker 2 (53:29):
The veracity of your claim.

Speaker 5 (53:31):
Redfin is reporting that sellers outnumbered buyers by fifty one
percent in July for the home market.

Speaker 2 (53:39):
That's what just means prices are dropping. Yeah, that's just shy.

Speaker 5 (53:42):
Have December's record high of fifty one point eight percent.
So yes, buyers have more negotiating power. Nearly eighty percent
of major US metros now are buyers markets, led by Miami, Nashville,
is in three cities in Texas, Okay, California.

Speaker 2 (53:57):
I'm not on the list.

Speaker 3 (53:58):
There's a house for sale in neighborhood right now, and
I live in La Mesa, Okay. And that house has
been for sale now for five months. I want to say, yeah,
one point two million dollars. They have not moved off
to asking price. It's a four bedroom house. It's like
twelve hundred square feet.

Speaker 4 (54:11):
We haven't had a house for sale on our block
in a long time. Just ask Hendo, Kat's cousin. She
she apparently frequents my street all the time.

Speaker 2 (54:21):
You said it's her favorite street to go to the gym. Yeah,
I'm sure.

Speaker 3 (54:23):
What don't you think if something was for sale for
six months, you'd consider dropping the price a little bit.
It's all so.

Speaker 4 (54:29):
Crazy about Hendo visiting by streets you get to the gym,
your cousin who's been stalking me.

Speaker 2 (54:33):
Is the fact that it's not a through street.

Speaker 4 (54:35):
You cannot get to the gym in a car driving
down my road? No way?

Speaker 2 (54:39):
Yeah, well she takes her bike. Oh that, Yeah, she
could cut through that alley she goes.

Speaker 5 (54:44):
Was gonna say, she's so sneaky, man, I was thinking
it was a cul de sac.

Speaker 2 (54:48):
So now she's just riding through somebody's yard. I'm like
Ferres Bueller, hopping over fences.

Speaker 4 (54:53):
I'm outside scantily clad very often in my neighborhood.

Speaker 2 (54:57):
We will stop doing. I'm almost positive don't see me
in my innerwear. Well, maybe that's why she frequents to
your street. I mean, you know what, now the plot thickens.
It is a guy Thursday.

Speaker 5 (55:08):
It is It is a thick guy Thursday. We discovered that. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
we discovered that this morning. Win the open to our
show play.

Speaker 2 (55:16):
That's right.

Speaker 5 (55:17):
And I don't know if this is just the time
of year when burger lists come out, but I feel
like we've we've seen several. Now, so USA Today has
their Reader's Choice out Reader's Choice Awards out for the
ten best burgers in the country.

Speaker 4 (55:31):
And what do you want to start? What do you
want the top five? Give me the top three, give
me the top three.

Speaker 2 (55:37):
Okay, all right, sorry fletch over rules.

Speaker 5 (55:40):
Number Number three is going to be Freddy's original double
at Freddy's Frozen Custard and steak burger.

Speaker 2 (55:48):
I've had that burger.

Speaker 5 (55:49):
Oh it should not be in the top it's that
is a very middle of the road burger.

Speaker 2 (55:54):
That burger.

Speaker 4 (55:55):
Honestly, it should probably be three hundred. They're terrible. The
custard's great. I thought it was just okay. It's just
a burger.

Speaker 2 (56:07):
That's okay.

Speaker 5 (56:08):
Now, Number two, the double double from In and Out
number people out here in California might fight you if
you say in and out number two.

Speaker 2 (56:19):
That's good point.

Speaker 5 (56:20):
The number one depends on what the number one is
best burger in the country.

Speaker 2 (56:26):
The double char from the Habit Burger, and.

Speaker 4 (56:31):
The Habit has been gaining ground on in and Out
on a lot of these burger lists for a long time.
It was born in Santa Barbara, the Habit Burger, the
first joint opened up. So it is truly a West
coast thing. It's truly a California burger operation. I gotta
be honest with you. They're growing on me. They opened
one in PB that as a drive through. We go

(56:52):
to it a lot.

Speaker 2 (56:53):
I'm gonna tell you right now, at my house, the
get quiet everything. What happens to your house?

Speaker 5 (57:00):
Freaking and listen, listen what I about to say right now.

Speaker 2 (57:05):
Everyone would pick the Habit over in and Out. How
about that? All right?

Speaker 4 (57:09):
We have Guns and Roses tickets available for you to
win right now. All you have to do is call
eight at eight five seven oh one O one five.

Speaker 2 (57:18):
That is the number to dial. Caller ten.

Speaker 4 (57:22):
You're going to the show at Staff Dragon Stadium September second.

Speaker 2 (57:26):
They're playing with the Black Crows.

Speaker 4 (57:27):
You could be their ticketmaster dot com if you want
more information.

Speaker 2 (57:32):
But that's number to dial and that's the caller wins.

Speaker 4 (57:34):
All right, coming up next, she broke the internet for
break dancing.

Speaker 2 (57:38):
Now we have breaking news and it's all next.

Speaker 4 (57:42):
Oh my gosh, I've never been more excited for anything
in my life. I think it feels like Christmas has
come early. The upcoming Netflix documentary focusing on the viral
Australian Olympic break dancer Rachel raygun Gun is titled Untold
ray Gun Breaking Badly. It is I saw the problem

(58:05):
in this morning. I shared it with our group text.
It was probably at like what four fifteen in the morning.
That yeah, that sounds about right. The first thing when
I opened my eyes I looked at I'm like, oh, yeah,
have you guys.

Speaker 3 (58:16):
Seen the untold documentary series on Netflix? Because there's some
really great ones, but they're very very serious, Like there
was an Aaron Hernandez one, a Lance Armstrong one. They're
very very intense. There was one about the malice at
the Palace. This is gonna be goofy. So it's gonna
be great. I think so too right off the bat.

Speaker 5 (58:31):
Why didn't they make this because I think it's just
one maybe two hour documentary.

Speaker 2 (58:35):
They should have made this a ten parter and followed
her around like my series.

Speaker 5 (58:39):
Oh yeah, give me some Tiger king, give me back
to that.

Speaker 4 (58:42):
So the documentary Untold reygun Breaking Badly chronicles the rise,
fall and personal toll hang on.

Speaker 2 (58:49):
I clicked on a link here.

Speaker 4 (58:50):
It is Personal Toll Experience by Australian breakdancer Rachel Gunn
following her viral zero point performance at the twenty twenty
four Olympic Games WOW. Through first person interviews archival footage,
the film explores the intense online backlash, conspiracy theories, and
media fallout she faced alongside her path from university lecturer

(59:14):
to Olympian. The full story is going to be told
on Untold. I cannot wait.

Speaker 2 (59:22):
To watch this.

Speaker 6 (59:23):
I'm actually really fascinated by this story because yeah, I mean,
think of the entire world was making fun of her.

Speaker 2 (59:31):
That had to be really brilliant. I mean, granted was
it was it was.

Speaker 6 (59:36):
It warranted probably, Yes, she's on the Olympic stage, but
I mean she had to have had a really hard
time after that for years.

Speaker 4 (59:44):
You know what, I do feel bad sometimes when I
see the group pile on of ridicule that occurs when
somebody has a fall down, fall in their face moment
where it's like, man, it's not really fair because the
they shouldn't be ridiculed as hard as they are and
people are just piling on this. Though, to me, this

(01:00:05):
was like something she she honestly and she knew it,
because later on she would like speak openly about it.

Speaker 2 (01:00:11):
She's like, I knew I was just a beginner.

Speaker 4 (01:00:13):
If you knew you were just a beginner, then why
would you have taken the opportunity from somebody else to
do this?

Speaker 2 (01:00:21):
Now who's actually passionate.

Speaker 5 (01:00:23):
About but where she was from Australia, right, yeah, yeah, Okay,
So they had to have some sort of competition.

Speaker 2 (01:00:28):
To see who they were sending to the Olympics. So
that's where.

Speaker 4 (01:00:32):
The number two guy looks like, that's where the conspiracies
come into play because apparently, like when you work at
a university as a lecturer, obviously some of the university
money that funds the college or the lectures that you
do come from the government, and so there's a lot
of people saying that in order to further endorse this

(01:00:53):
university or the schooling or whatever, she was sort of
pushed through the system and even this opportunity as supposed
to earn this opportunity, and.

Speaker 3 (01:01:03):
Thank got she did. That was one of the funniest
things I can remember of my life. I mean so bad.
It was hysterical. We had, like our boss, Noreen dressed
up as Heer for Halloween and did a break dancing performance.

Speaker 2 (01:01:13):
It was fantastic and Noreen may have been better. She
would have been better. Yeah. Also, don't remember her only
getting zero points zero point zero.

Speaker 5 (01:01:21):
It was so bad that they said we're never doing
this again.

Speaker 2 (01:01:24):
Oh yes, the Olympic.

Speaker 6 (01:01:25):
Yeah, the first and last night dancing competition in the Olympics.

Speaker 4 (01:01:30):
Okay, So following the Paris twenty twenty four Olympics, online
misinformation they call it generated conspiracy theories claiming that Rachel
Gun's Olympic qualification involved biased judging. Panels A rig governing
body and intentional funding gatekeeping. These allegations were subsequently denounced. However,

(01:01:51):
there's still people online who believe that there was a
big push behind Rachel Gun and nobody exactly knows why.

Speaker 2 (01:01:58):
Well, I mean, something obviously had to happened. Yeah, she
was dreadful.

Speaker 10 (01:02:05):
There's a lot happening in San Diego this weekend. But TD,
the self proclaimed homebody King, now has the ultimate decision
to make play or stay, brought.

Speaker 9 (01:02:16):
To you by Valevue Casino and Hotel.

Speaker 2 (01:02:18):
Ah, Yes, players stay.

Speaker 4 (01:02:21):
We do it every week where TD he weaves and
winds us through the weekend events happening here in San Diego,
and he chooses whether to play along and go along
to one of these events, or of course, he always
reserves the option to stay at Valley Vie Casino in Hotel.
Now disclaimer here, Unfortunately, every single one of the weekend

(01:02:42):
events that he's brought up he has not participated in,
but he's delighting the audience with opportunities for you to attend. Meanwhile,
you've only ever chosen to stay at Value View Casino
and Hotel.

Speaker 5 (01:02:54):
That is correct, Well, it hasn't hasn't been anything better
yet okay, Valevue.

Speaker 2 (01:02:58):
Pretty good. Okay, pretty high list. So what kind of
a list do you have for us today?

Speaker 5 (01:03:02):
Well, we'll start things off Squeeze the day at the
downtown Trulivisa Association's Free Lemon Festival. It happens Saturday from
eleven to six. The annual event celebrates lemons.

Speaker 3 (01:03:16):
Were talking hand pressed lemonade.

Speaker 2 (01:03:18):
Wow, this is known for lemons.

Speaker 5 (01:03:22):
Yes, if they are, I did not know that.

Speaker 2 (01:03:26):
Things citrus, you idiots.

Speaker 5 (01:03:29):
So yeah, it's a citrusy glory all the whatever ensures
the city's lemon legacy still bears fruit for years to come.

Speaker 2 (01:03:41):
It's either that or value you a hotel. I'm gonna
stay on this one.

Speaker 5 (01:03:44):
You know.

Speaker 2 (01:03:44):
Actually I'm not available Saturday.

Speaker 5 (01:03:48):
You are the zest albeit sea world, shaking my booty
in the bushes to Saliva, but not with Kat because
she said she would not go with me alone, that
she needed you both to be there.

Speaker 2 (01:04:00):
Oh you bitter late than never. I see what you did.
That true story.

Speaker 3 (01:04:04):
Chula Vista, historically known as the lemon capital of the
world what during the early to mid twentieth century, backed
by thousands of acres of citrus groves enabled by the
eighteen eighty eight completion of the Sweetwaters Looking good, peeling good?

Speaker 2 (01:04:17):
Does it say that on the sign when you're head
into Tula Vista or something? Maybe?

Speaker 9 (01:04:22):
Huh?

Speaker 2 (01:04:23):
So, you know, ladies and gentlemen, it's happening. It's really happening.
I'm running out of pun No, you're taking a lap,
is what you're doing? Oh? Urnd you glad to see
me when I get back. Oh it's nice, it's more citrus. Yeah, fine,
I think it worked. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:04:39):
The World Body Surfing Championships are happening Saturday and Sunday
and PBEE competitors will paddle through the Pacific Ocean and well, actually,
I don't know if it's in PB now that I
say that, because I thought it said PEB. But it
says Pacific Ocean. So it's happening somewhere in the Pacific.

Speaker 2 (01:04:58):
Pretty good. Oh, it's an ocean sign. It's not the
ocean side here, all right. We found out most serf
competitions are up there in ocean side.

Speaker 5 (01:05:05):
I don't I don't want to body surf let alone
because watch someone body served.

Speaker 2 (01:05:10):
To the side of the ocean. Certainly it's a clever name, really,
so I'll stay on this one.

Speaker 4 (01:05:15):
Okay, so you're gonna stand out with you Becausino Hotel
instead of going to the Watch Body served Lemon event
or the Body serve.

Speaker 5 (01:05:23):
Yes, yeah, both of those those. Then we have the
Little Italy Mercado. How do you say that Mercado?

Speaker 2 (01:05:30):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (01:05:30):
Okay, it's happening Saturday from eight to two. The Little
Italy Certified Farmers Market features fresh fruits and vegetables, pastured eggs.

Speaker 6 (01:05:39):
Little Italy Farmer's Market is every single Saturday, year.

Speaker 2 (01:05:42):
Round special because.

Speaker 5 (01:05:47):
It says it says, this one has local artists and crafters,
candles and handmade for.

Speaker 2 (01:05:52):
Handmade soap.

Speaker 6 (01:05:54):
Isn't Mercado? Isn't that market it open? I don't know
the market is every single Sundard know.

Speaker 5 (01:06:03):
I'm just saying handmade soap. It's just like Tyler Durton
made on Fight Club. And I have absolutely no desire
to join Project Mayhem to disrupt modern society. I like
my soap the way God intended, made by a gigantic
sterile factory, by billion dollar corporations with chemists, quality control
machines that cost more. In my house, I don't need
some homemade brick whipped up by Karen's kitchen with her
goat milk that she keeps out front. You're gonna catch

(01:06:26):
me at value of your casino on hotel wow. And
that goes for every single weekend at the Mercado.

Speaker 3 (01:06:32):
And also kat not a really it's in little Italy.
Mercado is Italian, not Spanish.

Speaker 6 (01:06:37):
Oh oh for Italian for market as well.

Speaker 2 (01:06:42):
It's a romance language. It's one of the five.

Speaker 11 (01:06:48):
And they do, they do, they do super fun anyway,
and that is the last pun of the day, all
I promise, right, What a fun, what a fun winding
through the weekend events it was.

Speaker 9 (01:07:03):
It's just the tip with Big Wretch.

Speaker 4 (01:07:07):
Yes, it is just a little advice. I like to
slide out your way. It's yours for the taking if
you want it. If not, shove it back this way.

Speaker 2 (01:07:14):
No harm, no foul. It's just the tip of Big
rich In.

Speaker 4 (01:07:17):
Today's advice is about how to clean your feet off
at the beach.

Speaker 2 (01:07:23):
Check this out. So in my beach bag.

Speaker 4 (01:07:25):
This is also a good tip, but it's not the
one I'm gonna focus on. Take trash bags, like one
of those full rolls of trash bags and put them
into your beach bag. Every time you go to the beach,
somebody's generating like little wrappers of things, granola bars, chocolate bars,
whatever else you bring the beach snack bags. You need

(01:07:46):
a place to put it all. So having trash bags
on hand good idea. Anyways, I found a new use
for a trash bag, and it's a really good one.
So when you first get to the beach, if you're
gonna lay down a beach blanket, a lot of people
get upset if you kick sand on.

Speaker 2 (01:07:58):
The beach blanket.

Speaker 4 (01:08:00):
So what you do is you dig a hole doesn't
have to even be that deep, but like foot bath depth.
Go out to the water, fill your trash bag with
some of the sea water, throw it over your shoulder,
haul it back to the little foot bath depth hole.
You just dug lay that trash bag with the water inside,

(01:08:22):
and you have yourself like so, because otherwise it'll just
escape into the sand, it'll seep down to wherever the.

Speaker 2 (01:08:27):
Water line is.

Speaker 4 (01:08:29):
In this situation, you've got yourself a permanent for at
least as long as you're at the beach, little foot
bath to clean the sand off your feet before getting
on the beach blanket or the towel that you have
laid on the ground, that.

Speaker 5 (01:08:44):
You have a separate towel, your feet dry a little bit,
and just shake the sand.

Speaker 3 (01:08:50):
Nobody got time for that. Hey, nobody got time sand. Yeah,
sand is also going to get all in that water.

Speaker 8 (01:08:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:08:58):
But no, no, no, no.

Speaker 4 (01:09:00):
When when sand hit the water, it sinks down to
the bottom.

Speaker 2 (01:09:05):
Everybody knows this.

Speaker 4 (01:09:06):
I mean, that's the reason why you saw the sea
water anyway, the ocean water anyways, to knock off all
the sand on your body, you know what I'm saying this, And.

Speaker 2 (01:09:14):
It worked for the kids. All of a sudden, all
the moms were looking at me. They were like, look
at you. You did it. You're so smart. I'm like.

Speaker 4 (01:09:21):
And then my wife just shook her head and she
was like she gets so frustrated.

Speaker 5 (01:09:25):
She's like like a broken clock twice a day, is right.
So you go out, you dig a hole, you stick
a trash bag in it. Then you go get a
bucket and then get buckets of water and pour it
in the hole.

Speaker 6 (01:09:35):
No, no, you take the trash bag to the water. Yes,
fill the trash bag and then put that in the hole.

Speaker 2 (01:09:40):
Binge behavior it is. It looked insane. I will admit when.

Speaker 4 (01:09:44):
I walked out to the ocean with a trash bag
and I was gathering water in a trash bag, I'm.

Speaker 2 (01:09:48):
Like, oh, I look like an insane person. But then
everybody thought, how smart.

Speaker 4 (01:09:53):
Just a tip with big rich feels like putting on
an old pair of shoes that you were happy to
find again.

Speaker 2 (01:09:59):
Cat's back. You're calling me an old pair of shoes.

Speaker 12 (01:10:05):
Oh.

Speaker 4 (01:10:05):
I meant like, there's just a comfort, Like there's a
comfort to having something that was missing from your life
that you really enjoyed back in.

Speaker 2 (01:10:13):
The action fits you just perfectly.

Speaker 4 (01:10:15):
You know. Okay, now you're there with me, like, oh,
imagine a pair of house slippers that you know mistakenly
got misplaced and you're like, oh my gosh, I leave
them out back of the sliding door in the rain.
They were under the couch the whole carn We were
under the couch the whole time, and you like kicked
your foot in there, and you're like, oh my god,
did I feel it?

Speaker 2 (01:10:31):
I did.

Speaker 5 (01:10:32):
Man, you have a lot of shoes that you don't wear,
but then fine later on in life.

Speaker 4 (01:10:37):
Yeah, Actually I had a pair of Adidas that went
missing for two years, and when I rediscovered the box.

Speaker 2 (01:10:42):
I almost broke out into tears. Wow, I missed them
sweat today. We're gonna miss all of you. Thank you
for listening.

Speaker 4 (01:10:49):
You have more Guns and Roses tickets and Luke Bryan
tickets coming up tomorrow. Maybe not the Luke Bryan tickets
because that shows this weekend. We'll figure that out in
the interim. Anyways, we love you, We'll see it arm.
It's a park car Friday, brought to Bay keg and Bottle.

Speaker 9 (01:11:02):
Can speak to.

Speaker 2 (01:11:06):
It's so Verna Sa good.

Speaker 12 (01:11:16):
Good bye, bye bye, see later. I'll pick you up
a re quarter to three again.

Speaker 9 (01:11:32):
One day.

Speaker 2 (01:11:32):
Back in nineteen sixty six, pickup sticks
