Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right now and ob licensing registration. Hurry up, ma'am?
All right?
Speaker 2 (00:04):
Man?
Speaker 1 (00:04):
Were will we? I'm sorry? Are you saying? Yeah? Am
I seeing now? Now? What is so damn funny? I
could have? Sweet? Yeah? Do you look like a cat
to you? Boy?
Speaker 3 (00:24):
Cow down? We'll gather around our folks for the big
news we've been holding.
Speaker 1 (00:40):
Our sweet old cat is back in town. Ain't that
just purely golden? Happy Tuesday?
Speaker 4 (00:50):
To those who celebrate it is big rich TD.
Speaker 1 (00:54):
And Fletch and Cat.
Speaker 4 (00:56):
For the first time in mone the gang is finally
fully back together and assembled. It is the most lovely
site I have ever laid eyes on. We've got Cat
back in studio, she said to us when she left,
see you next Tuesday. We had no idea how many
(01:17):
tuesdays we'd have.
Speaker 5 (01:18):
To wait, and it was more than I thought it
was going to be as well, Rachel, Guys, this feels
more like a Meuesday me, and it.
Speaker 1 (01:29):
Is not a laugh. Let's just stay right here.
Speaker 4 (01:33):
That is pretty cool. It's really really really good, uh
and decent. Then you came back to work.
Speaker 6 (01:40):
I had to are emailing my personal Gmail account like
are you coming back this week?
Speaker 1 (01:45):
That's insane? That's insane this.
Speaker 6 (01:47):
Week, they want to know are you coming back next week?
Speaker 4 (01:49):
When you don't answer HR's phones for phone calls for
long enough that they're like, maybe we'll just email her personal.
Speaker 6 (01:58):
Well, they did shut off my email account about two
months ago, so I had to I had to hit
up my Gmail.
Speaker 1 (02:04):
Man, you were gonna have the worst day ever. Okay,
I love you.
Speaker 3 (02:08):
See the email that came out yesterday that was like, hey,
Cat's back tomorrow in the studio to see.
Speaker 7 (02:14):
Her because she doesn't receive those emails like literally a part.
Speaker 1 (02:18):
Of her day today.
Speaker 4 (02:19):
This is the horror of going back to a corporate office.
Speaker 1 (02:25):
You're gonna have to talk to people.
Speaker 4 (02:26):
That legitimately you didn't even know existed in this building.
Speaker 6 (02:30):
Like why what I think that I know everyone in
this building? Do I want to talk to everyone in
this building? Absolutely know? Because I know everyone in this building.
Speaker 1 (02:40):
You're in for it. You're in for it. They're gonna
march through here at various times. Yeah, oh yeah, everybody
has been coming here.
Speaker 6 (02:47):
My gift is your guys gift, because you guys.
Speaker 1 (02:49):
Also love to talk to everyone in the morning. My
favorite is my favorite thing.
Speaker 4 (02:54):
And you know me, if I One thing I love
is when we have so many people come here and
they say things to us, and we're just like, no,
this is great, no, no, no, no, no, let's do
this more this way. All of the things that we
want to talk about have to wait until you're done
talking to us, oh man. But in the meantime, we
have four hours with you all by ourselves. We've got
(03:16):
the cat to our own, and it's the first time
in a long time.
Speaker 6 (03:20):
And so it feels going to be back you guys.
I did not anticipate missing you three as much as
I did.
Speaker 1 (03:26):
Wow, not enough to listen to the show, though. Is
that the nicest thing Cat's ever said to us? Yeah?
That is, I mean, borderline a compliment. So close. She
came in yesterday briefly. Yeah, Travis dy got our TD
that I got to see her.
Speaker 3 (03:40):
She was so mean, oh man, right, she called me
fat within thirty five seconds. We talked about how TV's
lost a significant amount of wait since she's last seen him,
and she.
Speaker 7 (03:51):
Says, this is the reaction, So Richie and you weren't
here for this, I know, so, so Fletch goes, Yeah,
TD's lost twenty five pounds and she in shock mouth, open,
eyes wide, what.
Speaker 4 (04:06):
You have?
Speaker 1 (04:09):
She's like, where? Yeah? Was it so live? Yeah? Right right?
You do what? She was checking out of the desk
to safety like the lang.
Speaker 4 (04:20):
Yeah, she was like, I just thought you switched the
vertical stripes.
Speaker 1 (04:24):
You do? You look great? What have you been up to?
Speaker 7 (04:27):
Just just out of sadness, not eating? Yeah, waiting for
your return.
Speaker 4 (04:32):
But well, what's funny is Okay, there's so much. I mean,
we're gonna spend like the first hour, maybe hour and
a half of this show just catching up with Cat.
But you guys don't even realize this. I saw Cat first. Yeah, yeah,
we have to. I have to tell you guys a
whole story because I haven't.
Speaker 1 (04:48):
Seen you TD since Friday.
Speaker 4 (04:49):
I haven't seen Fletching too left for Europe, a Cat
I hadn't seen for months, and.
Speaker 1 (04:54):
Then I did. Apparently Cat also saw me and didn't
say a word. I was maybe stalking a couple of
members of the show.
Speaker 4 (05:02):
Okay, so we we have we have to do a
little digging here because apparently Kat has her shovel out.
Speaker 1 (05:08):
Yeah, I know all of your addresses. This is insane.
Speaker 4 (05:13):
I did, but that was a part of our secret,
sacred code. We would never tell each other where we lived.
All right, Well, we got to delve into this story.
I had a a FaceTime phone call that led to
a middle of the street moment with Kat Fisher.
Speaker 1 (05:31):
That's next one one five KGB.
Speaker 4 (05:33):
So Kat's back in studio and you know what, for
anybody who is new listening to the show may have
missed the news.
Speaker 1 (05:41):
Kat.
Speaker 4 (05:42):
At the end of the year, you were diagnosed with
breast cancer. You were very honest and open and transparent
about how that felt, what that was like, and it
really was beautiful how honest you were about all this
and then the treatment, the chemotherapies that you went to
through for months. You work through that like an absolute soldier.
(06:04):
I think I complained more during your chemo you did
about my physical ailments than you did I did, And
in retrospect I do regret.
Speaker 1 (06:13):
Some of that, are you sure? I said some?
Speaker 4 (06:19):
And then after that you left us for a good reason,
because you had to undergo several surgeries, which you've explained
all on your social media channel. And if you want
to catch up on this whole story, it's a beautiful
tale of perseverance, and you can go to Kit. Kat
Fisher on Instagram because I've never met anybody stronger, I've
(06:43):
never met anybody tougher. Because what you've just gone through, man,
it would test me.
Speaker 1 (06:51):
It would break me. It did break me.
Speaker 6 (06:53):
I think I have PTSD from a couple of the
weeks because I was in such excruciating pain after my
reconstruction surgery. So yeah, I'm ready to leave that era
of my life in the dust because it was awful.
Speaker 1 (07:08):
It was really bad. But all of that heartache is
no excuse for what you did to me over the weekend.
I would like to know I have not heard about this.
I am wondering if this is not really allowed. Well, well,
so Kat suddenly facetimes me. Okay, this was on I
think Saturday, Saturday. It was Sunday. Oh well you're right, yes,
(07:30):
because it was Sunday night. Yeah, because you told me
all right tomorrow. Okay, So check this out.
Speaker 4 (07:34):
So I get It's it's like dusk, you know, the
sun's starting is set in Pacific Beach. And here I am,
I'm just doing chores around the house, Mosie and around
and I get a FaceTime call and I'm like, I'm
literally in just boxer shorts, and I get this this
face time. I'm like, oh my god, it's cat and
and goes what And I'm like yeah, I'm like I
should put a shirt on because it's a face it's
(07:56):
a face time call. So I didn't get the shirt
on a time and then I FaceTime or back and
she's like hey, She's like does this look familiar? And
she spins herself around and she's in front of my house?
Speaker 6 (08:08):
What what?
Speaker 1 (08:10):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (08:10):
Which, in hindsight, yeah, I mean, I guess a lot
of people don't like unexpected visitors to show up to.
Speaker 1 (08:16):
Have you ever been to Rich's house before? No? Never,
But but my cousin who apparently has stalked me for
years now, she.
Speaker 6 (08:26):
Lives in Rich's neighborhood, and she and I have had
conversations in the past of like, oh, this is the
car you're looking for.
Speaker 1 (08:33):
What it's got the baby on board sticker on the back.
Speaker 5 (08:35):
If you see that, that's his house.
Speaker 6 (08:37):
So before before we went to your house, Rich, I
was like, oh, because we had a golf cart for
the weekend. It was my grandma's celebration of life. We
had like fifty family members in town, so we had
rented like a big you know, eight percent golf cart.
So we were riding a golf cart around my cousin's neighborhood,
which Rich is your neighborhood, and I was like, ooh,
should we stop by Rich's house. We'll see if he's home.
And she goes, oh, yeah, he's a boat guy now,
(08:59):
and I said, you know what, I did see something
in the group chat that he got a boat, and
she was like, yeah, I noticed that he has a
boat and in his in his parking.
Speaker 4 (09:06):
Well SONO, by the way, who lovely We all love Hando.
That's Kat's cousin. We were introduced her two years ago.
Wonderful human being, also like a sick woman, a serial soccer,
because she knew so much about my life from the street,
like literally, she was like she was like so, she
(09:28):
was like, she was like, so the only time you
moved the white car is on Wednesdays when they're street too,
And I'm just like, a yeah.
Speaker 1 (09:38):
That's accurate. Yeah, uh incredible, yeah incredible.
Speaker 4 (09:41):
So anyway, so she basediged me, I throw on a shirt.
I'm running out front, uh, because she says, I'm here
and it never even dawned on me. And so I
get to the middle of the street and I give
Kat a big hug. I'm so happy it's here. And
then the next words out of my mouth were, how
do you know where I live? But after I got
through all that, guys, we had a really really fun.
Speaker 1 (10:04):
Conversation and I met, Oh my gosh, Wilder, Wilder, Wilder,
the coolest kid. It's my nephew. Got it, got it? Okay?
Speaker 7 (10:13):
So I saw the photo and then I didn't respond
because I thought, they don't just.
Speaker 1 (10:18):
Know this is no no, he's he's a rat kid. Yeah.
Speaker 6 (10:22):
Well, we have fifty family members in town, including Wilder.
It's been a crazy weekend for me leading into coming
back to work.
Speaker 1 (10:28):
Well, they're all here to celebrate your return to the show.
Some of them are listening to.
Speaker 6 (10:32):
Actually a lot of them flew out last night, which
is kind of why I wasn't here yesterday.
Speaker 4 (10:36):
Well, you tell Wilder that I am a huge fan
of his and I failed. I should have gotten in
his autograph because that kid's going to play in the
NFL one day, There's no question in my mind. But seriously, Kat,
tell your cousin that the restraining order is in the mail.
So there was a rude interruption of a Sunday evening
(10:56):
by Kat, who cousin spied on me, doxed me, found
my address, and brought Cat over my house home.
Speaker 1 (11:03):
It did happen, I am, I am.
Speaker 4 (11:05):
I am mostly teasing about all this, because of course
you can have my address.
Speaker 1 (11:10):
Of course everything's fine about this.
Speaker 4 (11:12):
It was just how crazy I came to find out
how your cousin learned where I lived.
Speaker 1 (11:19):
I think, rich, let's be realistic.
Speaker 6 (11:21):
You told her where you live the time that you've
seen her. You're like, oh, you live in my neighborhood
that I'm on this street, This is my address, the
one with the X, Y and Z cars.
Speaker 1 (11:30):
They don't hear it, hear all the information.
Speaker 4 (11:34):
But the way they did it, if any of that's true,
that's not the way.
Speaker 1 (11:37):
They explained it to me. Kat goes, yeah, I just
told her what he drove and she found you. That
did also happen.
Speaker 7 (11:47):
Speaking of driving, I guess it was last Thursday. I
didn't know this until yesterday when Cat came in briefly
and said, out of nowhere, Hey, so without me here,
what time you're leaving every day? And I said, I
don't know, maybe twelve thirty one o'clock. I don't somewhere
in there, and she goes, oh, I saw you last Thursday,
And I went, oh.
Speaker 1 (12:07):
Did I leave early that day? I don't. I don't know.
She goes, no, it was about twelve you drove by me,
and I said what.
Speaker 6 (12:14):
I had a contacted our promotions coordinator to get some
tickets to Sea World for the weekend. You know, I
had a bunch of family in town want to take
the kids to zero and their physical tickets, so I
had to come here to the station picked them up
from her.
Speaker 1 (12:27):
However, I didn't want anybody to know I was here,
so not even me.
Speaker 6 (12:31):
I parked over by Engineering and had Taylor, our promotions Cornia,
come out to meet me, and TD.
Speaker 1 (12:37):
Drove by a bad exact. I literally had like a
drug deal. Yeah in the park. I came out to
the parking I rolled my window down. Yeah. Yeah, did
you ever like a ziplog bag? No, she just had
a hand. That's kind of.
Speaker 3 (12:48):
Crazy behavior that TD equals like the commoner you don't
want to see.
Speaker 1 (12:52):
Yeah, that's what I'm gonna say. I thought I was
gonna say. I thought we all were a little higher.
Speaker 8 (12:55):
Up on it.
Speaker 1 (12:56):
That was exactly my thoughts. Thank you, I'm out.
Speaker 4 (13:00):
This gets much much worse because not only does this
happen with Kat, but then Kat, you you find out
that TD, speaking of SeaWorld, has an introduction to do
You're coming up. The band Saliva is going to be
one of the band's headlining SeaWorld Summer Music Festival, Summer
(13:20):
Concerts series Thank You, And so they do it every
summer now at SeaWorld at the Orca Stadium, and.
Speaker 6 (13:26):
It's this is our first year having like a rock.
Speaker 1 (13:29):
Right situation happening there. Why this weekend they've got Uncle Cracker.
Then I don't know who week three is, Yeah, pretty cool.
It is cool.
Speaker 4 (13:36):
So they have this whole you know, because it's been
a lot of hip hop, it's been a lot of
R and B, like some of your favorites from the past,
and now they're doing the same thing with rock and
so they asked TD, hey, any interest in coming out
and introing Saliva?
Speaker 1 (13:50):
And You were like, yeah, I got time, let's do it.
Speaker 4 (13:52):
So so TD you say to Cat, hey, Kat, do
you have any interest in joining me on stage and
doing the intro?
Speaker 7 (14:00):
Actually, actually she started talking about SeaWorld and I said
I will be there Saturday because I'm going to intro
the band Saliva.
Speaker 1 (14:08):
And she said, oh, that is so cool.
Speaker 7 (14:10):
We should all do it together and I said, yeah,
let's do that. And then she says, hey, text the
group and say hey, Kat will do this if everyone
does it, and ask if anyone will do it, and
no one said.
Speaker 1 (14:27):
They'll do it. So Kat currently out on hosting with me.
I just think it would be fun as a groove.
Speaker 4 (14:34):
Yeah, but what's crazy about that is what are you
saying directly to TV though Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1 (14:42):
One one five KGB. It's big rich TD and Fletch.
Speaker 4 (14:46):
Something we failed to mention and and we are going
to post this to social before we touch anything. One
of the things that we learned and have enjoyed about
getting to know Kat over over the long time that
we've done the show with her.
Speaker 1 (15:02):
Now is that she loves beans.
Speaker 4 (15:06):
She loves black beans and kidney beans and garbonzo beans
and green beans beans, not pento beans.
Speaker 1 (15:15):
I haven't. I did not remember that from those real
Guess kids they do. They do cast some g upsets.
Speaker 4 (15:24):
I was gonna say, yeah, those pino beans, those were
earmarked for Fletch because.
Speaker 1 (15:28):
He's like, oh gosh, no, pinto. We're like, nobody we
got you. So there is an array and also corn.
I'm going to count.
Speaker 4 (15:38):
Oh yeah, you love to add corn to stuff too.
It's unbelievable how many things she goes yum. You know
it would make this better. About a half can of
corn something like that is guacam better?
Speaker 1 (15:51):
Well it was your guacamole was bean dip, and so
was your your caso. And then you just kept adding
corn to it. Yeah, and weirder.
Speaker 4 (16:00):
It was so strange, but honestly very delicious at the
same time.
Speaker 1 (16:05):
It just wasn't caseo. There is is it? Eight?
Speaker 4 (16:09):
Eight different bowls full of corn and beans plus actually
and TD It looks like this is your work. You
set this up. Uh there's bushes baked beans in a can.
Speaker 1 (16:21):
And beautifully displaying. Uh there's great northerns and white cannellini.
Speaker 2 (16:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (16:26):
Yeah, I thought I was just trying to get things that,
you know, all all things, all things cat, all things cat,
and then all cats favorite food, which you know. I
don't know if you're into the barbecue beans, but I am.
So there's one thing of the barbie. I've had barbecue
beans and a long a single not a single utensil
inside hand.
Speaker 4 (16:47):
Yeah, like Hobo's under a bridge right right out, I'm
gonna be with our fingerless gloves. We're just gonna be
digging in with two fingers and making a fingerspoon.
Speaker 1 (16:58):
Last time I checked, cats don't have thumbs. It's a
good point. I mean, I'm not going to hold.
Speaker 6 (17:02):
A fork using plastic, so I do, of course, have
a stainless steel fork in my lunch bag.
Speaker 7 (17:08):
That's insane. Yeah, but like plastic containers currently, that's crazy.
At home, I use plastic utensils.
Speaker 1 (17:16):
That's really weird.
Speaker 4 (17:17):
Like imagine, imagine if you're dating a guy. Okay, looking back,
I'm not saying it's good. This will turn off zero guys.
Like if if you're dating a dude and you you
pull out a silver out of your purse and be like,
all right, she's a little nuts.
Speaker 1 (17:30):
Maybe that's cool.
Speaker 4 (17:31):
But if you're dating a guy and he goes to
a restaurant with you and he's like, oh, I love
Thai food, but I won't eat with plastic silverware, and
he reaches into his pocket he pulls out a metal fork.
Speaker 1 (17:41):
Yeah, that's the last date you go on. What would
you think of that metal fork? Out of your pocket.
Speaker 6 (17:46):
I would assume that you were going to use it
to stab me at some point during the dates.
Speaker 4 (17:50):
Oh my gosh, what if you said no, I'm always
prepared just in case they served plastic were shaved the world.
Speaker 1 (17:56):
I do like that idea.
Speaker 6 (17:58):
However, it's the same thing like I love cats. A
guy with a cat not really my guy.
Speaker 1 (18:04):
That's what I mean, you know, that's what I mean. Yeah,
it's okay for me to do it, it's not okay
for you.
Speaker 4 (18:07):
It's weird that you can smell your own crazy, but
it's not as pungent, you know what I mean? Like yeah,
like you're just like, yeah, but my crazy smells good.
Speaker 1 (18:16):
How do you feel about a guy that wears a
purse like a like a sling bag a man purse immersed?
Oh man, we have to get into this. Oh they're
so okay, we have to unpole thing with you.
Speaker 3 (18:28):
By the way, they're cool now, okay, they've been cool.
Speaker 1 (18:32):
You you know.
Speaker 4 (18:34):
What, somebody just like Fletch would say something just like that.
Speaker 1 (18:37):
That's all we're gonna say it.
Speaker 4 (18:38):
We're not gonna tip our hand any further because maybe
some people missed what happened before he left for Europe.
Speaker 1 (18:43):
We'll get to it next.
Speaker 4 (18:44):
So there is something about Fletch that needs to be
shared right now on the air Live and Cat.
Speaker 1 (18:51):
You missed it, You completely missed it. Cat. Fletch is
a purse guy. Now, oh, sling bag?
Speaker 6 (19:00):
Well, that does happen to people who travel across the pond.
Speaker 4 (19:04):
So he calls it a TSB, a tactical sling bag.
He's not hiding from us. We can, we can, we
can sniff out a purse, like we're like the airport dogs,
Like we're like, sure, yeah, that's a purse and we're
gonna have to open it because there might be contrabands.
Speaker 7 (19:19):
I've just I've been searching and searching and searching. Tory
Birch tactical swing bag. I can't I can't find one.
Speaker 1 (19:24):
Is that what you had?
Speaker 6 (19:25):
Plutch?
Speaker 1 (19:26):
You don't seem like a designer bag guy. It was
like twelve twelve dollars on Amazon.
Speaker 6 (19:29):
Okay, you're showing me a photo right now of you
and your wife Kendall.
Speaker 1 (19:33):
This is in Paris, Kendle. Kendall does not have a purse. No,
well she does. She actually it's hidden behind my back
right now. Ah well, yeah, is proudly displayed. You are
wearing like a sling. Here's the bag.
Speaker 3 (19:46):
When I was in Scotland, everything just stayed in my
pockets because in Scotland you don't really have to worry
about pickpocketers. In Paris, literally the first thing they say
when you get into Paris, big voice guy comes over
the intercom at the train station. It says, watch out
for pickpocketers. This is a very common location. Okay, but like,
what do you put in your purse? It had my wallet,
my phone charger, and my phone, whip glass.
Speaker 1 (20:08):
That was it. Yeah, whip gloss or you. No, my
lips was not popping, okay, lip claws. I don't have
flip glass.
Speaker 6 (20:16):
What about chapstick.
Speaker 3 (20:18):
I don't have chapstick either. I'm a man, can't did you?
I don't wear sunscreens. Didn't put on sunscreen once the
entire g No, because I'm a man.
Speaker 1 (20:25):
I have carried stick in my pockets for twenty five years.
Speaker 4 (20:31):
You have the most supple lips in the world. You
know what's insane? Though nobody's ever stolen it out of
his pocket.
Speaker 1 (20:36):
Now, that's all I was gonna ask.
Speaker 7 (20:37):
Are you buying women's pants and the pockets are now
sown shut.
Speaker 1 (20:40):
No, are you sure? What else are you store in
that purse?
Speaker 3 (20:43):
This was it was literally phone phone charger wallet, because
that was it. Penis that stayed in my pants.
Speaker 7 (20:50):
I'm just just all items that could have stayed in
your pants instead you decided to get a purse.
Speaker 3 (20:57):
But dude, literally it saved us once there was some
who tried to pickpocket.
Speaker 1 (21:01):
Now, dude, you got no.
Speaker 4 (21:02):
First of all, I do not believe that story until
it's corroborated by your lovely wife, Kenda.
Speaker 1 (21:07):
We'll have her corroberate and then roberate that's corroborate. And
also we're gonna have him do a dui test like
the sling bag or the purse or whatever you want
to call it. I think that's cooler. It's it's just
a shoulder bag that you put over your body. What
is it called, now, Tedie, what's the name of this
summer purse? Per skuy summer? It's cool one one five
(21:33):
kg B.
Speaker 4 (21:34):
We also have some champagne to pop in studio celebrating
Cat's return, plus some flowers for her to bring home.
Speaker 1 (21:41):
We're so generous.
Speaker 6 (21:43):
Well, guys, the champagne was obviously for the three of you.
I don't drink alcohol. There's non alcoholic there is Oh okay,
so that's not champede and.
Speaker 1 (21:51):
That is for us because when you since you've left.
Speaker 4 (21:54):
We also don't drink alcohol anymore except Fridays and sometimes
their time.
Speaker 1 (22:00):
Cat. I really I did go like two months while
you were gone without drinking. I was gone for two months. Well,
I went a long time without drinking.
Speaker 3 (22:06):
I went from like the time you left till Paris
till we got overseas.
Speaker 1 (22:09):
Was around the same time he decided by a purse
you just like me, fletched. He thought, you know what,
you probably need to keep a lady on the show,
so he would and have gone purse.
Speaker 6 (22:20):
Okay, you guys, like your sling bag is kind of cool,
that very eurosty summer, first guy summer.
Speaker 1 (22:30):
I'm not mad at that.
Speaker 7 (22:31):
Apparently the ultimate green flag for a for a woman,
we see, that's.
Speaker 1 (22:36):
Where it gets weird for me, Like what, okay, confident
in your masculinity, that's that's not what that means. What
MISSI liked it. She liked it a lot. I feel
like it's confident in your femininity, yeah, which.
Speaker 6 (22:49):
Is part of being confident in your masculinity as well.
Every guy can be a little fam.
Speaker 1 (22:55):
Oh that's yeah, well sure, I mean you can't.
Speaker 6 (23:00):
Both of you guys are both a little feminine. And
you're right just because I.
Speaker 1 (23:04):
Punch in my eyebrows.
Speaker 3 (23:05):
Well, look at how Rich Spence's hair every day, you
like take si meticulously to make the little foof in
the front.
Speaker 1 (23:11):
It takes me. I'm not even joking.
Speaker 4 (23:13):
I'm gonna say one minute, in fifteen seconds to make
my hair look this way.
Speaker 1 (23:19):
That looks like you just put some gel in it
then comb it. Thank you. Been a while since I've
had hair, I forgot how easy it is.
Speaker 4 (23:26):
I honestly I will. I will time it at some point.
I have intentionally gone with the same hairstyle for the
past fifteen to twenty years because it's so easy to
comb in. But you know what, honestly, I celebrate your changes,
Fletch and.
Speaker 1 (23:43):
Yeah, I mean, I'm fine with it. I just want
you to accept the fact that you have purchased a
purse and dude, it's okay.
Speaker 9 (23:50):
One one KGB trending with TD Jackson, feral routed, Sam
merril Man, oh Man, did you is on fire?
Speaker 1 (24:00):
He homered again last night, Padres beat the Brewers and
the series opener three to two. I think Casey Mies
was on the mount too.
Speaker 6 (24:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (24:07):
Guess well, yesterday I had a little bounce back game there.
Goodness is his first outing he got roughed off as
a pot man. Jackson Merril though three homers in three games.
Speaker 3 (24:16):
Yeah, and since the All Star Break he's been like
the hottest hitter in Major League Baseball.
Speaker 1 (24:20):
So went to Peco Park a tactical sling bag fletch.
It'd be pretty cool if he did. He too, keeps
his man parts in there.
Speaker 4 (24:33):
You know what's amazing about Jackson Merrill is every time
he gets to the plate, something sensational ken and.
Speaker 1 (24:41):
Will inevitably happen. That's how it should be. With Fernando
Tatis Junior and Manny Machado.
Speaker 3 (24:47):
Starting to man, this is the first stretch where all
three of them have been hot at the same time
this entire season.
Speaker 4 (24:52):
I know, it's just been what a disappointing start to
the season for the two of them. I hope they
could keep it alive, but thank god for Jackson Merril.
Speaker 1 (24:58):
Is it two soon to get real hot? What do
you mean?
Speaker 7 (25:03):
I mean, there's forty games left, so let's say they
have a twenty game stretch of they're just on so FI.
Speaker 3 (25:09):
Here's the problem is they started so poorly the Padres
did that they actually need.
Speaker 1 (25:14):
The entire National League was kind of cruddy.
Speaker 3 (25:16):
So right now it's the Padres, the Phillies, and the Diamondbacks,
three teams fighting for two spots over forty games. All
three of them won yesterday, So the Padres are currently
behind those two. They just need to be better than them.
And then the final series of the season if you
look forward, Padres versus Diamondbacks. So really you just need
to be within two games by the time that series
comes around and then sweep the Diamondback.
Speaker 1 (25:35):
That's all you want to do.
Speaker 7 (25:36):
Turn that front up easy, Like I like everything you're saying, Man,
like everything you're saying. You know, I would say that
Marvel is not really happy with what happened down in
Comic Con. Well maybe they don't care. So Comic Con
was here, what a couple of weeks ago.
Speaker 1 (25:49):
Now was that rights Every year.
Speaker 7 (25:52):
The city of San Diego says you cannot put raps
on buildings or we will find you. And of course
all these different coming he still put raps on buildings
because the promotion is worth more than the fine. So
there was about forty five thousand dollars worth of fines
issued for building wraps. Well, Marvel actually covered up the
whole gas lamp signed downtown.
Speaker 1 (26:13):
You remember that that whole arch was covered up and
in Marvel.
Speaker 7 (26:17):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, they were fined one hundred and sixty
thousand dollars.
Speaker 1 (26:19):
So the only thing I could think of is if
that sign is registered as like a historical landmark, probably right.
Speaker 4 (26:28):
So that could be the reason why, because I'm sure
you can find out a different amount if it's like
a historical building.
Speaker 3 (26:34):
UND sixty thousand dollars was exactly what Rich and I
budgeted for the poop dam.
Speaker 1 (26:39):
Thank you. So this is it. So you implemented this.
Speaker 4 (26:43):
So I am not acting governor or mayor or as
I like to say, muvenor, because I'm going to try
to be mayor San Diego and governor of the state
of California at the same time.
Speaker 1 (26:53):
But the point I'm trying to say, it's.
Speaker 4 (26:55):
Either muvenor or Gayer, so I went with movenor looks
So point is when you combine.
Speaker 1 (27:02):
Those words, it gets tricky.
Speaker 4 (27:03):
The point is I I did call in a favor
and I said, hey, SD officials, who I'm not going
to push off the plank when I take over the
ship and mutinous fashion and right, could you employ some
higher fines to fill the coffers for the poop dam
in Tijuana to solve the sewage problem affecting the Pacific coastline?
Speaker 1 (27:25):
And they said yes.
Speaker 7 (27:26):
This program is a work of satire and parody and
said it's solely for entertainment purposes. And he referenced to
Rich running for public offers are fictitious and he has
not declared a registered candidate for any municipal, state, or
federal position.
Speaker 1 (27:35):
He'll be the bumper sticker.
Speaker 6 (27:36):
Yeah, man, okay, if we can't use damn it oh
Rich for governor. I don't know if one hundred and
sixty thousand is going to cover the poop dam, but
it should at least get the bathrooms in Mission Beach
Back open.
Speaker 1 (27:51):
No, No, that it was a half a million dollars.
Speaker 3 (27:54):
Yeah, they said cheaper to operate south of the border.
We all know this, which is why the poop dam
only cost one hundred sixty thousand dollars.
Speaker 1 (28:00):
Thank you. Tunnel from Mission Beach just to into Mexicoo.
We don't got a dune anything, you guys. I've explained
this before.
Speaker 4 (28:09):
You know how many diapers one hundred sixty thousand dollars
purchases you start stuffing those in the in the the
Tijuana slough problem, absorption.
Speaker 1 (28:17):
I'll tell you to your absorption.
Speaker 7 (28:19):
I'll tell you right now, mister Moutherner, with nine hundred
and seventy five million dollars, that would that would that
fixing poop dams?
Speaker 1 (28:26):
I would argue, I'd have a little leftover. It's gonna
be hard to do that. When it's in my podcast.
I was gonna say nobody won the Powerball jackpot last night,
which is getting close to a billion dollars.
Speaker 7 (28:36):
Nine hundred and seventy five million is what they're projecting
Wednesday will be. But apparently Fletch, he's already won, even.
Speaker 3 (28:42):
Though when I had ten tickets yesterday got nothing back.
Speaker 1 (28:46):
Oh my gosh. Ten.
Speaker 4 (28:48):
Speaking of tickets, Fletch, what do we have to give
away today? Guns n' roses? Yea, guns n' roses.
Speaker 7 (28:57):
Everyone looks around the room, snapdraggen stadium scept number second.
Speaker 1 (29:00):
We have tickets right now, so just takeingmaster dot com
if you want to buy them, you want to win them,
Caller number ten. You're gonna go see Guns and Roses
and the Black Crows eight eight eight five seven oh
one one five forgot that part, okay.
Speaker 4 (29:14):
So it is our unfortunate obligation to sometimes pass along
news that is unsettling, sad, heartbreaking, tragic, sometimes the worst news.
And today is unfortunately one of those days. Yesterday we
(29:38):
lost a beloved symbol of freedom. Yesterday we lost something
that meant more than just a view into what wilderness
looks like when it's unbridled and free to roam.
Speaker 1 (29:53):
Also one of the biggest live streamers on the planet.
Speaker 3 (29:57):
That's not even a joke, one hundreds of thousands of
you on any given Tuesday.
Speaker 1 (30:01):
Wow crazy.
Speaker 4 (30:02):
At the age of fourteen years old, Jackie the bald
eagle in Big Bear Valley passed away. Apparently she was
battling with unexplained anemia for some time, and after weeks
she succumbed to the symptoms and she was found deceased yesterday,
(30:26):
So a very sad day. Indeed, I'm curious what you
do now, I mean, how do you honor a bald
eagle that has really enjoyed thousands, if not millions of
people over the course of her life.
Speaker 1 (30:38):
Do you hold a funeral? Do you like we need
a statue, A big, big statue. You know, I.
Speaker 3 (30:42):
Don't hate that idea Fletcher a statue in Big Bear
representing Jackie. This, this hurts my heart. So it came
yesterday while I was on the air. I almost was
in tears for the final segment of my sports show yesterday.
Speaker 1 (30:54):
I mean, so Jackie.
Speaker 7 (30:56):
By the way, Jackie the Eagle was the first documented
baldy goal in Big Bear Valley, No way, so so.
I mean as far as hash, they watched her hatch
fourteen years ago. They watched her hatch, then she grew up.
They saw her with another man. In twenty eighteen.
Speaker 1 (31:13):
She hooked up with Shadow, who's still there tending to
their nest. Who's screaming twenty four to seven. He stands
on the edge of the nest, just yells out. He
doesn't know where Jackie went. Now, Jackie got attacked by
a couple eagles.
Speaker 3 (31:25):
I don't know, a few weeks ago. She's been in
the vet. Yeah, in critical condition for week, but so
but she may have been attacked because she had.
Speaker 1 (31:32):
A weird blood thing going on. They don't really know.
It's a mysterious ilmius resting beak. It's not the time
for the time. I just thought I would sprinkle just
one in there. I think it is sad.
Speaker 6 (31:46):
I think also we should look at the way that
shadow is acting in this time of grief, and you
guys should all appreciate the women in your life a
little bit more because if they were gone, if they
were gone, you would be left screaming.
Speaker 1 (31:57):
One day they might be telling us goodbye. I think
against maybe too last here.
Speaker 4 (32:04):
Okay, I'm sorry. I'm sorry for just trying to brighten
the mood a little bit over here.
Speaker 1 (32:12):
Do you have one more? He does have one?
Speaker 4 (32:14):
No, dude, I would never do that from bald eagle,
little cold eagle. At the point is all right, dressing
piece Jackie fly high, beautiful bird. So something I need
to bring up with you, guys. So Kat wasn't the
only person who I caught on my nest camera outside
of my house just loitering around doing whatever.
Speaker 1 (32:35):
She was up to.
Speaker 6 (32:36):
You didn't catch me out there. I facetimeed you and
let you know I'm outside.
Speaker 4 (32:42):
It was so funny as I did turn on like
my nest and went back to my driveway camp to
see when and like they're out front, like I.
Speaker 1 (32:49):
Think this is it? Yeah, us watching you? Well what
the star tours in Hollywood?
Speaker 4 (32:58):
All right?
Speaker 1 (32:59):
I hear that buns and they get off of the
Celebrity House road. He's like, oh, his car, like both
of his cars are in the driveway, but he's not
answering it was yeah.
Speaker 4 (33:13):
She's like, there's two cars in a boat. And then
and Heather goes, yeah, the white ones his too.
Speaker 1 (33:20):
Oh my god.
Speaker 4 (33:22):
Meanwhile, Wilder, her nephew, is just literally running, uh like
wind sprints in the middle of the road like he
I mean, it's quite street perfect name for that kid.
He is wild I love him all right. So I
had another visitor. I had a freaking intruder listen to
this same night, well same uh no, this actually happened Monday,
(33:44):
so yesterday. So yesterday I took the day off and
thank you Fletch and TD for covering up for me
and Kat Kat who was absent for months.
Speaker 1 (33:52):
I only missed one day.
Speaker 6 (33:53):
I went.
Speaker 4 (33:55):
I uh so I took the day to take the
kids to their first day of school. At mementary school.
It's going to be my son's last year. He just
started at the elementary school. And my other son he's
going to second grade. So we're like we're pumped up
for them.
Speaker 1 (34:09):
Come home.
Speaker 4 (34:09):
I'm like flying high because the drop off went successful.
Teachers got their school supplies, kids got in, no tears,
everything went smoothly, awesome. I come home. I opened the
front gate and sitting on my compost. Because the city
of San Diego gives you a green bin. It's for
not compost, it's like organic. Yeah yeah, yeah, basically like
(34:31):
lawn trimmings or like whatever. Right, So sitting on top
of my bin, which is just inside my fence because
Annie was trimming back the passion fruit vine on our fence.
Is a pile of dog poop inside of a back
What it's resting on top of the lid?
Speaker 1 (34:49):
What of the trade? You are legally allowed to shoot
that person, So check this out.
Speaker 4 (34:54):
I was like, I was like that, I didn't think
it was you.
Speaker 1 (35:00):
I didn't knocked the bag. Again. My cousin starts dropping
off her dog bag. Yeah, dog bags.
Speaker 4 (35:12):
So I'm like somebody, somebody did this, and I saw
I'm like, all right, It couldn't have been this time
because I walked past that bin every time. I noticed
it at this time, so I knew the window. I
went back on my nest cam on the doorbell cam.
Uh huh, I got you. I know who you are, dude.
It's a guy, and I got a picture of his dog.
(35:34):
No way, a random person. It's a random person who
was walking his dog past my house and what is
going on?
Speaker 1 (35:43):
He stopped himself dead in his tracks.
Speaker 4 (35:44):
He looked through the gate and he saw the bin,
and he reached his arm through my fence, dropped the
dog poop on top of the bin and kept it hoofing.
Speaker 1 (35:53):
And by the way, he was like hot stepping it
a little bit. You save, you save everything. He drops
off and you find him and you hand it back.
Speaker 4 (35:59):
Oh yeah, it's happened, guys, it's here. And there was
a conversation that happened last week that all of you
missed except for me and TD.
Speaker 1 (36:08):
When we're hosting the show holding Down the Four Together.
Speaker 4 (36:11):
I was explaining to TD that at the start of August,
the thing that I look forward to the most is whether.
Speaker 1 (36:18):
It's early in the month or late in the month.
Speaker 4 (36:20):
At some point in this month, all of the pumpkins,
all of the pumpkins spice things come out.
Speaker 1 (36:26):
No way, that's happened already. It's this month. Yeah, it's yeah,
it'll August twenty eight. There was pumpkins spice happening at
the end of July.
Speaker 4 (36:35):
Thank you, And it's important that we all celebrate this
because it's it's fleeting it only it's only here with
us for a couple of months.
Speaker 1 (36:41):
And they switched a gingerbread.
Speaker 7 (36:42):
Oh look, well over at Starbucks at least would say
all the coffee places, we have the pumpkin to the
end of the year.
Speaker 1 (36:48):
We have a day for August. Yeah for Starbucks. Yeah,
August twenty fifth.
Speaker 4 (36:52):
August twenty fifth, which I feel like is little too
late in the month of August for Starbrecks to get
around to it.
Speaker 1 (36:56):
That's fine because guess what.
Speaker 4 (36:58):
And I almost sent a picture her to you last
night when I was unpacking my Target.
Speaker 1 (37:02):
Bags because it did a late night Target shop.
Speaker 4 (37:05):
I closed the store me and Jane Janey was my cashier.
She was exhausted. She works for the City of San Diego.
Before she bags groceries at Target, and so I helped
her bag the groceries. She was one of those ladies
who like, I love when you just are who you are.
You're just like, I don't care what anybody thinks about
me wearing this fan.
Speaker 1 (37:25):
Around my neck? Is that what she had?
Speaker 4 (37:28):
She looked like flavor flav She had the fan blowing
up into her face. It was on a necklace.
Speaker 1 (37:33):
It's hot.
Speaker 4 (37:34):
It was incredible. She was hot and yeah in two ways.
So we're bagging.
Speaker 1 (37:41):
Groceries together, We're yucking it up, and I'm like, can
you believe it? I'm like, look what they've done.
Speaker 4 (37:46):
Starbucks Espresso, Pumpkin spice coffee flavor.
Speaker 1 (37:52):
So an espresso.
Speaker 3 (37:53):
Those little little pods, those little podas are only like
twelve dollars.
Speaker 4 (37:58):
There, they'll do. They're crazy expensive. But they're orange. And
even so the pods naturally have the ridges on it.
Sure so looks like a little pumpkin nice. I cannot
tell you, like all of my basic be hotched senses
are are a.
Speaker 1 (38:14):
Light right now? Why do you open it up? Over there?
Speaker 7 (38:16):
Tearing open the bag turn over in the bag of
it was a gift for cat and wow, one thrown
across the room and a cat. Now one thrown and
we're talking about pumpkin mini donuts.
Speaker 1 (38:28):
Uh huh wow. I always feel like pumpkin kind of
tastes like a candle.
Speaker 4 (38:33):
No dude, no dude, these tastes like magic. Oh god,
this everything's happening. I'm so excited right now. This is delicious.
It's so it's so fun when you have a secret
and it's a good one and you're you're dying to
tell the person that doesn't know the secret that it's
(38:54):
about them that and it's a good thing, not a
bad thing.
Speaker 1 (38:57):
I think it's kind of ugly when you hide things
from people. One, it's like awful.
Speaker 4 (39:01):
But like when it's a fun secret, like a surprise,
like yeah, like maybe you bought something for somebody and oh,
you got it in your back pocket and you can't
wait to give it to them, you know, like an
engagement ring.
Speaker 1 (39:12):
Oh my gosh, the butterflies going, stuff like that ring.
Speaker 4 (39:15):
Fun secrets. We've had a fun secret for you today, Kat,
What Yeah, Yeah, we got.
Speaker 1 (39:23):
A bloodhound on this show.
Speaker 8 (39:24):
Kat.
Speaker 1 (39:25):
You know that we have someone named TD.
Speaker 3 (39:28):
When he when he sets his sights on something, he'll
sniff it out and he'll send email after email after email,
like borderline harassing emails.
Speaker 1 (39:37):
Dig through the weeds and find what he's looking for.
What are they going to do? Call the police? Yeah,
it only happened once before. Just curious, little rhino.
Speaker 6 (39:46):
Do you have Drake calling into the show to welcome
you back to work?
Speaker 1 (39:50):
That's kind of a crazy.
Speaker 4 (39:52):
Crazy Having Drake call in would be crazy. It would
only be top by Drake humming in studio. Oh scat
can you imagine that? I mean, so weird that would be.
That would be incredible. That would be so weird if
that happened when absolutely you guys, that would be that
(40:13):
would be insane.
Speaker 1 (40:15):
But I mean if that was able to occur, because
you are a huge Drake fan.
Speaker 4 (40:20):
Huge, Yeah, like a lot of people say, like, I
mean if that Drake, if somebody made a fan club
of Drake fans, cat would be fan number one.
Speaker 6 (40:31):
He has been going on weird side quest lately, Like
he's been doing some pretty low budget things.
Speaker 1 (40:36):
Twenty one you wow, he's dating like twenty girls at once.
Speaker 6 (40:43):
Yeah, you know the streamers do those like twenty v
one streams and they go on dates with all these people.
He did one of those, and I was pretty surprised
they would stoop to that level.
Speaker 1 (40:53):
Well, he's stupid.
Speaker 7 (40:57):
I mean, I'm a little hurt by everyone's words. No, no, no, no, everything.
Speaker 1 (41:01):
Why are you hurt by that?
Speaker 7 (41:02):
But I'm just saying saying that if Drake wanted to
be on the show, it would be it would be
very low for him, is all everyone's saying.
Speaker 1 (41:11):
It Just it would be surprising, you know. Yeah, So
maybe just be prepared to be surprised.
Speaker 6 (41:17):
No, I have, Drake, But whatever surprise you have for me,
I'm excited.
Speaker 1 (41:21):
Mmmm. Well, I mean, uh yeah, I think I think
you're going to be very excited. I think I'm very
very excited. I mean I I think you're gonna be
blown away by this, I mean absolutely blown aways.
Speaker 4 (41:35):
Coming up next trending with TD and here very soon
a big surprise for Cat Don't go Anywhere.
Speaker 1 (41:42):
One trending with TD. In the NFL. Teddy Bridgewater, the
backup quarterback for the Lions. Yesterday at training camp, in
the middle of training camp, just you know, while running
some drills, decided I'm all done. I retire. Now I retire,
I'm gonna go home. And he did. And now I
guess the backup QB for the Lions is Josh Dobbs, So,
(42:05):
Congratsops the pastronaut. Remember Josh Dobbs from a couple.
Speaker 2 (42:10):
Of years ago Arizona Cardinals had like this fleeting like
a run in with fame because he had two straight
unbelievably successful weeks.
Speaker 1 (42:21):
Yeah, and then he sort of faded.
Speaker 3 (42:23):
Well, he's also really good on TikTok, so I think
he's a fan favorite wherever he's a backup quarterback. He
released all these tiktoks from behind the scenes stuff that
people love.
Speaker 7 (42:31):
Anyway, Well, Teddy Bridgewater just in the middle of the
workday saying it is going home is top here.
Speaker 1 (42:38):
I mean, I love that.
Speaker 4 (42:39):
I've seen this several times over the course of my
six year NFL career, where guys during training camp a
lot of times it comes with like a veteran offensive
or defensive lineman who joins the team and goes, yeah,
I'll give it a go, and it's laid into camp.
Speaker 1 (42:55):
This is hard, and then you know it's like.
Speaker 4 (42:58):
Really hot year eight, year ten, and they're just like, das,
my knee hurts.
Speaker 1 (43:03):
Yeah, it's not getting better. I'm done. Chief. That happens
in all at like all different jobs.
Speaker 6 (43:09):
You know, like sometimes people will just leave in the
middle of their shift.
Speaker 1 (43:12):
I've done it. She just walked off the job.
Speaker 6 (43:16):
I worked for Nordstrum, and I was like, I'm out
of here. After you stole from my stuff and left.
Speaker 1 (43:21):
That was now. That was during we hang on, hang On.
Speaker 4 (43:26):
No.
Speaker 6 (43:26):
I got in trouble for stealing from Macy's when I
was in middle school.
Speaker 1 (43:30):
And then I worked for Nordstrum when you were working for.
Speaker 4 (43:33):
Nord Stream, and you say, and then just one day
just grab my stuff and left. Was it like supermarket
sweep where you just grabbed as many items?
Speaker 1 (43:42):
I wish I would have.
Speaker 6 (43:43):
Honestly, my cousin Hendo and I worked at nordstrom together
in different departments, and we won Friday evening.
Speaker 1 (43:50):
We were like, should we get out of here. We're like, yeah,
let's blow this place. So we grabbed our back we
left that nice. You didn't put Nordstrums on the resume.
Absolutely not.
Speaker 7 (44:00):
NASA said yesterday that the agency recently completed testing of
a lifthium fed electromagnetic thruster reaching more than five times
the power of an existing electric propulsion system that they
currently have. So paired with a nuclear power source, the
new tech is supposed to shorten the time it takes
(44:21):
to reach Mars, cutting months off the journey where I
guess it was supposed to take nine months to get there,
which was part of the problem. If they wanted to
do a trip to Mars, the whole trip would probably
take about three years time.
Speaker 1 (44:36):
Well, now it's down to two, so mare doable. I mean,
anybody have you seen it? Today's city. We're backod that's
what it must be. It must be this, It must
be this.
Speaker 4 (44:45):
If we listened to brich say, if you would have
listened to me, you could have bought in at one
hundred dollars when they told you it was gonna do.
Speaker 1 (44:52):
But did you buy in? No, miss, Well we're back
up now, mistake, because we are up twenty eight Let's go, ma'am, ma'am. Meanwhile,
out the box office, we've got Spider Man. It's just
making literally billions of dollars. You've got The Odyssey making
billions of dollars. Well, i'll tell you this movie. He's
(45:13):
gonna totally flop. It's called One Night Only. The director
Will Gluck has said that he has filmed hours and
hours and hours of nudity for the film, but he
found that after a lot of research, gen Z and
Jin Alpha I don't even know what gins those are
have have decided that they don't like to see nudy nudity,
(45:35):
so they're cut it all out. So you told me this.
Speaker 3 (45:37):
Guy filmed it and is now just keeping it to himself,
that's right, rather than releasing it.
Speaker 1 (45:44):
So this is a little creepy, that's right, kind of
a boss move, like shot my own horn. He's not
releasing it.
Speaker 7 (45:52):
Yeah, yeah, I just I'm curious if it was even
in the script though, if he's like, hello, miss ladies,
I would like you to.
Speaker 1 (46:00):
Do this today.
Speaker 4 (46:01):
Hey guys, we're gonna we're gonna film a location at
my house today. Uh, it's gonna be a part of
the it's we're at the camera, just.
Speaker 1 (46:11):
Just the phone. Yeah yeah, that's right. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
it's a it's a fifteen s. We've got more tickets
for you to win.
Speaker 4 (46:21):
Guns and Roses are playing San Diego, and if you
want to get your hands on some tickets, you can
go to ticketmaster dot com. But guess what, there's an
easier way, fletch, what way easier? They're gonna call you
and then you're gonna hand the phone to Cat.
Speaker 1 (46:36):
Cat's gonna answer.
Speaker 4 (46:37):
The phone right and caller number ten at aight eight
A five seven L one one five.
Speaker 1 (46:44):
You're going to see GNR. Ladies and gentlemen.
Speaker 4 (46:48):
It's that time to delve into the place that very
few want to go.
Speaker 1 (46:52):
In fact, really nobody wants to go.
Speaker 4 (46:55):
And normally we do this way earlier in the show,
but we need to make room to say hi to
Cap for the first time in a long time.
Speaker 1 (47:04):
So hide your carbohydrates.
Speaker 4 (47:06):
Secure the tactical man purse, and alert Europe and the
Mediterranean that the menace has left the continent. He's achieved
the complexion of a rotisserie chicken, the caloric intake of
a house plan, and the confidence of a man who
thinks that customs will just wave him through purely based
(47:27):
on thigh definition. Grab your passport, protect the bread basket,
and do not ask him how many shirts he packed.
Speaker 1 (47:34):
This It is the Fler.
Speaker 4 (47:39):
Where Fletch talks sports for the first time in like
a week.
Speaker 3 (47:42):
And yeah, thank you for that, Rich, I did it yesterday,
but you were here, Padres.
Speaker 1 (47:45):
Stay hot. Jackson. Harold Merrill is one of the hottest
players in baseball. Right now.
Speaker 3 (47:50):
He homers again last night to leave the Padres to
a three to two win over the Brewers, a much
needed three two win over the Brewers because the Phillies
and the Diamondbacks, who are competing with the Padres for
those final spots in the NL wild Card, also won yesterday.
The Dodgers also got off the snide yesterday. They had
lost eight of their last nine. They win yesterday, which
is always a bummer when you see the Dodgers winning games.
Speaker 1 (48:10):
How many games are they still ahead the Dodgers.
Speaker 3 (48:13):
Yeah, so they lost eight of nine and there's still
six games ahead of everybody.
Speaker 1 (48:18):
They had that much of a cushion.
Speaker 3 (48:19):
Oh and the Dodgers got to Reschoobel, who was the
best player at the trade deadline for their team.
Speaker 1 (48:23):
Docs are going to be okay.
Speaker 3 (48:27):
They're taking their little lull right now for the hot
streak at the end. Hey, the Buffalo Bills, famous for
the Bills Mafia, the fan base who are insane and
breaking through flaming tables every single game. The new Stadium
was three point two billion dollars from the Buffalo Bills
to build the new High Mark Stadium, which is just
across the street. From the old stadium, and inside that
(48:48):
stadium they actually have a massive statue of a broken
table in one of the concourse levels as you're walking through.
That's going to be a permanent fixture for Buffalo fans
and kind of a nod to the Bills mafia, which
is very very cool.
Speaker 1 (49:00):
Wow. What is very very not.
Speaker 3 (49:01):
Cool of the Buffalo Bills who spent three point two
billion dollars on this brand new stadium for the Bills
Mafia to go at ten games? Is that about forty
five to fifty seats you can't see most of the field.
What's crazy? So these pictures are going megaviral right now.
A fans who were able to attend, like some season
ticket holders got to go to a sneak preview of
what the season is gonna look like. And they have
(49:21):
like a seat with like a column in the weather's
part like scoreboard is blocking forty yards of the field.
There are different you know the kind of glass panes
that will wrap around the staircases. Yeah, are blocking like
twenty yards of their field there in some seats, So.
Speaker 1 (49:35):
They're kind of a foggy glass pane with I don't
know metal through them to try to add add structural
support like this is you can't see the field.
Speaker 3 (49:43):
Like the fan base is already calling remove those seats
and add other seats elsewhere because this is a problem
because people, obviously it's NFL. You're paying two hundred, three
hundred dollars for these tickets. You can't see out the field.
Speaker 7 (49:53):
It's literally you can't see forty yards of it. I mean,
it's crazy.
Speaker 4 (49:57):
I've been in broadcast booths where you know from the
seats that the broadcasters are sitting, you can't see the
whole field.
Speaker 1 (50:05):
I mean, it's it's wild house.
Speaker 4 (50:07):
Some of these construction companies get these things done. But yeah,
hopefully they protest loud enough for the Bills to change it.
Speaker 3 (50:14):
I think their first home preseason game is this week,
so we'll see more pictures, I'm sure, all right. Cooper
Flagg is a basketball player for the Dallas Mavericks. He
just finished up his rookie season, looks to be one
of the next NBA superstars.
Speaker 6 (50:25):
Well.
Speaker 3 (50:25):
He has a player card that is a one of
one card, right, meaning only one has ever been made
one only will ever be made of his debut jersey card.
It has a patch from his jersey, his signature is
on the card. It entered the rotation within the last
couple of weeks and the collector's card collectors have been
waiting to see who's gonna pull this card, which is
going to be worth upwards of two three million dollars
when it finally gets pulled.
Speaker 1 (50:46):
Insane.
Speaker 3 (50:47):
Well, the Dallas Mavericks have offered a bounty for this card,
saying lifelong season tickets court side for this card when
it comes out. And there's an OnlyFans model who has
released a three million dollar bounty for whoever ends up
pulling this card. Her name is Jellybean xoxo, which I have.
Speaker 1 (51:04):
Not heard of her.
Speaker 3 (51:05):
Maybe some of you have, maybe some of you pay
for her services.
Speaker 6 (51:08):
Dude, I've noticed three million dollars some people are, so she's.
Speaker 3 (51:13):
Got three million dollars up now. This card was pulled
yesterday on a live stream. It's the road Breakers, which
is a a company out in Rhode Island that pulls
cards and sells playing cards. They pulled the card yesterday.
What option would you take the Dallas Mavericks lifetime court
side seats and a photo shoot with Cooper flag and
some sort of dinner with the owners or would you
(51:35):
take the three million dollars from the only fans girl?
Speaker 1 (51:37):
Or would you put it up for auction?
Speaker 7 (51:39):
I mean that's it's three million guaranteed, three million guarantee.
Speaker 1 (51:42):
I would take the three dollars. Yeah, same, same, same, same,
And I would take it so fast, so fast.
Speaker 4 (51:50):
Reconsider Oh, I would guarantee it's a real offer if
there was only one made, because like what I would like,
don't get me wrong, the opportunity cost of potentially holding
on to it, in saving.
Speaker 1 (52:00):
It and then I don't know, somehow auctioning it at
some other date.
Speaker 4 (52:03):
Yeah, that could be great, but who knows what happens
with Cooper Flag. I mean, this guy could go on one
rant on X and that'll destroy.
Speaker 1 (52:11):
The value of that car. Is that chilly bean?
Speaker 4 (52:14):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (52:15):
I didn't know that until he showed me a picture.
I swear.
Speaker 10 (52:19):
Secret secrets. We've got a secret, d secret secret, A
little dance to mister Roboto.
Speaker 4 (52:32):
Thank you very much, thank you, thank you, thank you.
Speaker 1 (52:37):
Oh we got it. Good, feels good, whole surprise.
Speaker 3 (52:40):
We're working on that's all, and it's actually gonna happen.
There was a second where I thought it wasn't. Oh yeah,
why would you think that we just had heard anything
for a while. It was supposed to happen like six
or seven minutes.
Speaker 1 (52:49):
But you know, sometimes sometimes there's a little a little snafu.
Sure that's all, no big deal, that's all. And then
uh and then we just we fix I'm excited. Well,
I mean you you you should be are you are
you camera ready? Oh that's a good question, because you
well we might want pictures.
Speaker 3 (53:08):
So mad at me yesterday when I was coming to
the studio, I was filming.
Speaker 11 (53:12):
You know, what did you like to maybe maybe maybe not,
maybe somebody is going to come visit somebody or maybe
not maybe not maybe maybe it's maybe it's just a gift.
Speaker 1 (53:23):
Of something that you really really really really really like.
Speaker 4 (53:26):
Okay, like who's your favorite who's your who's your like
favorite person that you might want to see on a
random Tuesday just walk through the.
Speaker 1 (53:35):
Door, like somebody that I know or somebody that I
don't know the planet, anybody on the planet, anybody on
the planet but I've never met, I don't know. Won't
think about it. I guess guys are making me nervous.
I didn't mean to cut you off. You had something
important to say, No, I got nothing.
Speaker 3 (53:53):
When rich said if she was camera ready, I was
referencing back to yesterday when I had to do ninety
five takes of one little thing, say see you tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (54:01):
It was four takes. There was also a demand that
a ring light was turned off. Why what was all about?
But it was a meltdown.
Speaker 3 (54:11):
You can see the video now on Instagram at one
one five KGB looks beautiful the whole time. Guess what
she looked beautiful in the first twenty five takes.
Speaker 4 (54:18):
Yeah, by the way, your line had eight words in it.
That's right, that's right. It wasn't the line, it was
the way I look, Oh wow, turn on the halo light.
Speaker 1 (54:27):
I need to see a glisten. She hates that one.
She hates that. Yeah, yeah she.
Speaker 7 (54:31):
I specifically said, I said turn that one on, and
she said, no, I hate it.
Speaker 1 (54:35):
I don't like that one. It's orange. Well it's good
to know for later on. Maybe no, yeah, maybe, maybe,
depending on what happens.
Speaker 6 (54:42):
I'm kind of freaking out, you guys.
Speaker 4 (54:46):
I'll just make sure I have my camera going out
and ready to snap some picks. It's big Rich TD
and fledged my goodness, we've been teeing this up for
quite some time. We've kept a secret all show long.
We we haven't told Kat what we have in store
for her just yet. As our whole entire sales team
walked in, she's been lauded with flowers and gifts and
(55:10):
hugs and welcome back.
Speaker 1 (55:12):
Oh it's been fantastic.
Speaker 4 (55:14):
But there is one last surprise, and we will get
to it coming up here very shortly.
Speaker 1 (55:22):
I'm nervous. Are you ready?
Speaker 6 (55:23):
No, I'm not ready. You guys tested out the guest Mike.
You asked me if I was camera ready.
Speaker 1 (55:28):
I was just singing into the guest. I was just
saying things like teen left the studio to go and
get the guests.
Speaker 4 (55:34):
He's been gone for quite some time. And now the
entire sales team is in our room cheering you on.
But but I mean they're cheering you on for Maybe
they're just here for you. Maybe it's for our next guest.
Who knows it could be? Oh god, are you if
you're gonna take your best stab at who's gonna walk
(55:54):
through that door?
Speaker 1 (55:55):
Who do you think it is? I?
Speaker 6 (55:56):
Well, my nerves are saying it's somebody like my uncle John,
who I've seen him too much this weekend. My whole
family wasn't down for my grandma's celebration of life. Or like,
what if you guys dug up the exes of my
past and you're going to bring in like an array
a lineup of all the guys I've dated.
Speaker 1 (56:15):
That would be insane. Yeah, you guys are insane. Okay.
Speaker 4 (56:19):
Instead, how about we welcome into the studio right now, Drake.
Speaker 1 (56:27):
Belle from from Nickelodeon. Here he is.
Speaker 4 (56:40):
And by the way, thank you for wearing that suit.
You look fantastic. That's great suits. Wow, this is a
party in here. Huh, this is a big deal.
Speaker 1 (56:52):
Yeah, it's a lot of beans in the studio.
Speaker 12 (56:55):
Oh yeah, that's her favorite food, Drake. I didn't even notice.
I literally just saw is that I didn't notice. Wow,
it's a lot of beans, a.
Speaker 4 (57:02):
Lot of beans. It's actually a seven different flavor of bean.
Uh and then also corn. So one of the things
you got to know about kat Drake is she loves beans.
She will bring them in for breakfast, she'll bring him
in for lunch, we're fairly certain, although we've never partaken,
she eats them for dinner. She is into them. The
(57:23):
one thing you can't do is give her any pintos?
Speaker 1 (57:26):
Right right, right? Okay, I think that's just normal.
Speaker 7 (57:32):
I think everyone has intolerance to beans.
Speaker 1 (57:35):
Put th l.
Speaker 4 (57:43):
You are actually naming most of the beans we did
not purchase. Drake, Drake, you you've been famous for virtually
Fletch his entire life. I mean you. He literally he said,
he said to us, when you we knew you were
(58:03):
coming in. We've held this secret from Cat this whole time.
She's a huge Drake fan. And I said, I said
to I said to Fletch. I was like, he's coming
in studio. He's like, I know. This is when Kat
stepped out. He was like, Kendall, my wife is freaking
out at home.
Speaker 1 (58:19):
Is she really?
Speaker 2 (58:20):
Oh?
Speaker 8 (58:20):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (58:21):
When I told her yesterday you were coming in, she
was like it would it be weird if I came.
Speaker 1 (58:24):
I was like, no, come on in. She's like again
yet has she No?
Speaker 3 (58:29):
She's like going back tomorrow, I think. But she said
I can't come in. I can't meet him. So congratulations,
you're still doing it. Man, that thirty year old women,
it is your drama?
Speaker 1 (58:41):
All right? Can you stick around for a little bit,
hang with this? Okay? Awesome?
Speaker 4 (58:45):
All right, Well we got time. We have tons of
questions for you. We're celebrating cat her triumphant return back
to radio after beating cancer, and.
Speaker 1 (58:54):
It is a celebration of all things bad.
Speaker 4 (58:56):
Here also not a lot of people, but Drake Bell
has us and diego tie to somebody who used to
be on the mound here for the padres.
Speaker 1 (59:06):
Oh yeah, so we'll get into that as well. All
that coming up next, Big Rich, TD and Fletch.
Speaker 4 (59:12):
Here it is, Oh you don't have your headphones? Yeah,
we got Drake Bell on the air.
Speaker 1 (59:27):
Drake, Oh are you going to sing the chorus? You
look like you're about to up? You are mad? See
you got You've got a voice on you man. So
you're still playing music? Yeah?
Speaker 12 (59:39):
Yeah, Actually I just finished my new record I Love You,
and that'll be coming out pretty soon around Christmas time.
And uh and now I'm working on a new Christmas record.
I just writing a bunch of original Christmas songs and yeah,
so very excited for the harm.
Speaker 4 (59:53):
I cannot wait till your Christmas album Christmas album comes out,
because Christmas time is my favorite time to term muse
gone in the house.
Speaker 1 (01:00:00):
I've been searching for a new Christmas album.
Speaker 12 (01:00:03):
Well, I got all new Christmas songs, are all original.
I'm super excited because I am mister Christmas. I'm the
same as soon as as soon as I mean really,
it's like the next day after Halloween, it's like Christmas
music in the house. The decorations go up, trees are up,
lights are up, and it stays up until about I
don't know, April.
Speaker 1 (01:00:23):
I actually have a Christmas room in my house in Florida.
Speaker 12 (01:00:26):
I we didn't have a place for the Christmas tree,
and I had we just moved in and there was
a room that we hadn't done anything with yet, and
I was like, oh, I'll just make a Christmas room
for my son. You know, it'll be like the whole
room because we don't have a place in the living
room for the Christmas tree. So I made a whole
Christmas room and it's still there. It's been all year around.
I was like, this is awesome. Why would I take
(01:00:47):
this down? So now why my son's like, oh, yeah,
the Christmas room, the Christmas room, Like yeah, we have
a Christmas room.
Speaker 4 (01:00:53):
It's gonna be really funny when he tries to explain
about to other classmates because it was he five right now, Yeah,
so when he's like going to school and he's starting
to graduate through the grades and it's gonna be like.
Speaker 1 (01:01:04):
Third grade and be like, yeah, it's like you guys
can come over. We'll go to the Christmas room. Yea
Christmas in July.
Speaker 12 (01:01:11):
Yeah, the Amazon Fairy comes and then like he goes
under the tree and then you know, you guys don't
have that in July.
Speaker 1 (01:01:18):
That's awesome. You know.
Speaker 6 (01:01:19):
You do find out that every family does something a
little bit differently and that might be the thing of
your family.
Speaker 1 (01:01:25):
Yeah, definitely.
Speaker 12 (01:01:25):
All all families have different holiday traditions for sure.
Speaker 1 (01:01:28):
So you're talking about playing music, Greg, is this a
real story.
Speaker 7 (01:01:31):
The first official guitar lesson you ever had was from
Roger Daltrey of The Hoop.
Speaker 5 (01:01:36):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:01:36):
I had to play guitar. I had to learn how
to play guitar for this movie. I go to audition.
Speaker 12 (01:01:42):
They say you have to play guitar, you know, gotta
play guitar, no fake in it. So I get into
the audition, I'm like, I don't know how to play guitar,
but I really want to do this movie or whatever.
So I borrowed a guitar from a friend of mine.
And knew that Roger Dalty is gonna be in the movie,
so I just took a boombox in and press play
and Pinball Wizard comes out and I'm like trying to
do my best fake Pete Townsend.
Speaker 1 (01:02:02):
And I'm in the audition room and all the kids
around me are like to seeing all their noodling.
Speaker 12 (01:02:09):
And all this stuff, and I'm like, well, hopefully I'm
a better actor because I ain't got those chops. And
I went in and totally faked it, and I don't
know how, but I got the I got the role,
and then they put me into guitar lessons for for
for that that movie, And that's where I was on
set with Roger Daltrey and we're sitting there and getting
to like, you know, have him just sit there and
(01:02:31):
play behind blue eyes on an acoustic guitar and time
off like everyone like breaks for lunch, and we we
would walk around and uh, the scene was this big
yard sale and I just remember this, you know, I'm
this kid and he's walking around trying to find a
slide so that he could show me how to play
slide on the guitar.
Speaker 1 (01:02:48):
And he's like, I.
Speaker 12 (01:02:49):
Gotta find he picks up like some like bottle or something.
He's like, I'll phone something I could use, but don't
show you how to use.
Speaker 1 (01:03:00):
Oh my gosh, did you mean have any idea who
you're talking to? It absolutely at that age for sure.
Speaker 12 (01:03:06):
I mean I was obsessed with the Beatles, the Beach Boys, Stones,
you know, the Who. The Who was like huge for me.
So like being able to work with him even at
that age. But what was also awesome was the band
in the movie was Roger Daltree, Denny Lane from Wings, carmana.
Speaker 1 (01:03:24):
Cheese from Vanilla, just like a cast of It was
crazy seventies rock. Yeah, it was a good introduction to
rock and roll. Whoa dude?
Speaker 4 (01:03:31):
That is Drake Bell joining a star of Drake and
Josh on Nickelodeon. That's where Kendall Fletcher's wife fell in
love with you. Also, you are falling in love with
you right now. That suit, goodness, gracious, I mean cool.
Speaker 6 (01:03:45):
We need to put something up online of this suit.
It is a heart suit at Ihart. Come on, come on,
you're dressed for the day. For the moment we got.
Speaker 1 (01:03:54):
San Diego Tides.
Speaker 7 (01:03:55):
I got to tell you the story of how how
Drake decided he was going to be here today.
Speaker 1 (01:03:58):
It's incredible.
Speaker 4 (01:03:59):
I mean, you got a big heart and we appreciate
you doing this. And yeah, we'll tease it again, but
you are you are related to San Diego Padres history,
which is very cool. But there's so many more things
we want to pick your brain about. You've had this long, illustrious,
lofty acting career and music career.
Speaker 1 (01:04:22):
Drake Bell, thank you for being in studio with us.
Speaker 7 (01:04:24):
And by the way, in the hallway, he said you
can play some Bohemian rhapsody.
Speaker 1 (01:04:27):
You're damn right, we are.
Speaker 4 (01:04:28):
Yeah, let's get Padres ties in studio. Drake Bell is
joining us, star of Drake and Josh on Nickelodeon. But
I mean he's been in everything and everywhere. You know
the face, you know the name. You were on television
in the mid nineties on Home Improvement. Oh yeah, you
did a Seinfeld episode. I mean, this is before it
(01:04:50):
really took off for you. But I mean like you
did a movie with Roger Daltrey, Like I mean, you've
you've done it all Man.
Speaker 7 (01:04:57):
And Tom Cruise, You're in Jerry McGuire, right, yeah, yeah,
absolutely insane.
Speaker 4 (01:05:02):
But you're also family to Padres history. Heath Bell closer
for the San Diego Padres, a former Padres.
Speaker 1 (01:05:11):
Picture is your cousin.
Speaker 12 (01:05:14):
Yeah, yep, my my cousin Heath Bell. And it's really
it's really crazy because so he comes down he's playing
for the Padres as the closer and Drake and Josh
takes place in San Diego. There's a whole famous episode
where we battle over a foam finger that we got
(01:05:34):
at the San Diego Padres game and I'm there's like
a famous line where I'm like, I have the foam
finger on and I'm like because I'm number one and
I'm like holding the San Diego Padres foam finger and
like my cousin's like, it's just that some things when
they happen in life, like we could have been from
Chicago in the show, Like we could have been from
you know, he could have gone and played for you know,
(01:05:54):
well he did, but it's like it's crazy, Like.
Speaker 4 (01:05:56):
It's so weird universe. Yeah, they pull things together. It's
very weird. It doesn't it feels like life is scripted
so totally. That's a strange feeling. We were also the
voice of Spider Man. Yeah, the voice of Spider Man.
Speaker 12 (01:06:09):
That's another that's another one that's weird, like Peter Parker,
Drake Parker.
Speaker 1 (01:06:14):
Yeah, everything's sort of somehow connected.
Speaker 12 (01:06:18):
And then I did Superhero Movie, which was the spoof
on Spider Man, and so I'm like playing the fake
like spoof of Spider Man the Dragonfly. But then over here,
I'm the voice of Spider Man and I'm Drake Parker,
but I'm Peter Parker, but I'm Rick Riiker.
Speaker 1 (01:06:36):
It's just all connected. It's crazy.
Speaker 4 (01:06:37):
This is gonna sound insane, but I mean, you may
have never heard anything like this, but I like when
I hear your voice now that I remember you were
Spider Man or Peter Parker in the Spider Man it
was the Dizzy.
Speaker 1 (01:06:49):
Spider Man Ultimate, Spider Man Ultimate. I'm a huge Spider
Man fan.
Speaker 12 (01:06:53):
You.
Speaker 4 (01:06:54):
I actually like your voice as Spider Man more than
I like your voice that I always heard was I
wish he was in costume.
Speaker 1 (01:07:10):
What just happened right now? You're awesome? The one Jay
Jonah Loudmouth. We've seen the new one. I haven't had.
I heard. It's amazing.
Speaker 3 (01:07:20):
It's really really good. I'm all on, that's the best
he's ever been he's.
Speaker 1 (01:07:23):
The best Spider Man. I love him. The first time
I've ever just geeked out.
Speaker 7 (01:07:27):
Fan boyd out in studio here with with the voice
of Spider Man.
Speaker 4 (01:07:31):
Speaking of geeking out, You're the reason this all came together.
Kat's a big fan of Drake, and we found Drake.
We found Drake, and then we found Drake, but not
we specifically are Bloodhound TD.
Speaker 7 (01:07:41):
Well, look, it didn't actually take that much to make
this happen. I sent an email to Drake, actually just
your people, Drake and d Your person responded within minutes minutes,
and I and I laid out the story at our
very own cat Fisher.
Speaker 1 (01:07:58):
She's been gone for two and a half months, battling cancer.
She's coming back. It's a huge deal for us and
all of San Diego and the world. And I mean
you guys responded and said, look, you know what. I'm
in Mexico, but no problem cutting things short. I'm gonna
drive up to San Diego to come see cross the
border for you last night. I mean legit, I mean
(01:08:24):
I really done it. If I was in Mexico, I
would be like, I'll catch that next week. I can
call in, right, he says, you know what this is
again connected.
Speaker 7 (01:08:35):
I have an album coming out called Love. This is
about love you guys, love cat, I Love Cats.
Speaker 1 (01:08:40):
Here we go.
Speaker 12 (01:08:41):
It was so crazy because, like you said, all these
things that are sort of connected. So my new album
is called I Love You. It's a thank you to
my fans. It's all about you know, finding out you know. Oh,
I love my I love my dog, I love Oh,
I love my shoes. Oh you're gonna love this pizza,
you know. And it's like getting back to what you know,
what is and then you're gonna tell me you love me,
you know. So like what does love really mean? And
(01:09:02):
what is you know, what is the strength of that word,
and what is it really you know? And all of
the different types of love of you know, oh, the
familial love and love between a mother and a daughter,
and a French love between friends, and love between husband
and wife and love between So there's all these different
types of love.
Speaker 1 (01:09:18):
And I'm kind of getting to the nucleus of it.
So I read I'm reading your.
Speaker 12 (01:09:22):
Your email and it says something like we would love
to have or something and and but he capitalized and
all of this stuff and all of my emails and
everything to everybody for this record, we're always capitalizing love.
Love is in all so it's always love love, Like
anytime we say love, it's like, oh love because we're
like like staying in like that that that state of mind,
you know. So he capitalizes it and it's exactly how
(01:09:44):
we did it. And I told d I said, look
at the last it was almost it was like the
last line thing, And I was like, does he know,
is is there a connection here?
Speaker 1 (01:09:52):
Like this is wild?
Speaker 4 (01:09:53):
I'll show you down. He didn't know. I spilled coffee
on his keyboard.
Speaker 1 (01:10:00):
That's why it was all gaps.
Speaker 4 (01:10:02):
It's big rates TD and Fletched, joined by the star
of Drake and Josh, joined by the star of Disney's
Spider Man Ultimate Spider Man. Joined by a celebrity that's
really knocked our socks off, who has an.
Speaker 1 (01:10:17):
Affinity for socks. Drake Fell joining us in studio.
Speaker 4 (01:10:22):
And you told such a funny story about how you
damn near missed the first period of a Rangers game
searching for socks that matched your suit. You were wearing
Rangers colors on the suit, and then you couldn't find any.
Your buddy finally convinced Hey, we got ringside seats. We
got to get down there and sit down, and so
you do.
Speaker 1 (01:10:41):
That was a very kind way of putting it. Like it, socks, Drake,
nobody's gonna look at you socks. Nobody cares about the socks.
Were missing the game. Second. Look, look they're gonna break already.
We haven't even set in the seat. Let's go. We're
walking all the way to the other side of Madison Square.
Gotten for socks, Drake, we got side. Let's go. So
you get in your seats.
Speaker 4 (01:11:01):
You're sitting next to the owner of the Knicks, James Dolan. Yeah,
you and your buddy Anthony Tony. Yeah, you and Tony
sitting down and he's like you with the socks. Now, yeah,
I look at it. We're almost at the period of break.
You guys go in to have refreshments at the period break, yep,
and a couple of supermodels walk over, and what's the
(01:11:21):
first thing they say to you?
Speaker 1 (01:11:23):
Like out of an episode of Curby Enthusiasm.
Speaker 12 (01:11:25):
They walk straight to us and they go, Wow, that's
an amazing suit. With an outfit like that, you must
be wearing some incredible socks. As if it was written
as if I went to her and told her, Hey,
this would be really funny to stay in front of
my friend who's been rousing me about getting socks for
the last two hours.
Speaker 1 (01:11:44):
And I just look at him.
Speaker 12 (01:11:46):
I go, oh, nobody cares about the socks.
Speaker 4 (01:11:53):
I love it.
Speaker 1 (01:11:53):
I love it so much, so good So Kat.
Speaker 4 (01:11:58):
This is her official welcome back show after a long
layoff battling and defeating cancer, and it is all about love.
The new album by Drake Bell is called I Love
You and it'll be released really soon.
Speaker 12 (01:12:12):
Yeah, yeah, we're gonna do. We're putting together like a
Christmas release. I'm I got into the Christmas spirit all
of a sudden, and now I've written like ten original
Christmas songs and we're recording them all with Big band.
It's like full on Christmas vibe in July or August.
Speaker 1 (01:12:27):
Where are we July? Actually? I have a song on
the album called Christmas in July.
Speaker 12 (01:12:30):
All that and and yeah, and it's setting it up
for the new I Love You album, which will sort
of be like a Christmas gift to my fans and
uh and yeah, the album is really all about love.
And you know, I was thinking, you know, oh, I
love this pizza. Oh, you're gonna love this movie. Oh
I you know, Oh I love my car. You're gonna
love this It's like and then you say, oh, I
(01:12:51):
love you. And then it's like, well, what have we
done to that word? And yeah, totally diluted it. And
and there's so many different you know, if you get
into like the you know, you really get into it,
it's like, oh my gosh. There's like love between a
father and the son, and a love between friends, and
a love between husband and wife, and a love between grandparents.
It's and there's all and they're all different types of love.
(01:13:12):
And it's like the record is really getting to like,
you know, what is real love?
Speaker 2 (01:13:16):
You know?
Speaker 12 (01:13:16):
And and uh and and this was a perfect opportunity
to come in and share that.
Speaker 4 (01:13:20):
Well, you shared a lot of love today and it's
a room full of it today. We we welcome back
Cat and we joke around a ton here, but Kat's
our sister and she's been through a lot.
Speaker 1 (01:13:33):
And uh, we love you, We really truly do.
Speaker 4 (01:13:36):
And not yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, we love you like
you love beans.
Speaker 1 (01:13:42):
See what I'm saying, You see you see what it does.
You guys have probably been saying I love beans all day,
and now you're trying to tell Cat you love her.
Figure this out.
Speaker 4 (01:13:51):
I think it's it's like it's like we're trying to
tell her, like like you you love us, right.
Speaker 3 (01:13:56):
She's like, I love beans. Also hard to explain how
much Kat does love being.
Speaker 1 (01:14:05):
Maybe she does love beans as much as she loves you.
You know, we just got it.
Speaker 12 (01:14:12):
We gotta we just gotta peel it apart and get
to the nucleusive.
Speaker 1 (01:14:15):
I did need a little bit of time away to
realize that I really.
Speaker 6 (01:14:18):
Do love you guys, to realize how much you missed somebody.
Speaker 1 (01:14:21):
You don't know what you got. So it's gone, you
know what. That's the heart grow fonder. It does hurt
a little. Wait, do we need some help popping champagne?
I think we do. Okay, yeah, let's let's let's do that.
Let's let's let's make this thing a whole, a whole package.
Absolutely on the other side.
Speaker 4 (01:14:40):
We'll pack, we'll pop some champagne, we'll pour out a toast,
and we'll have some fun.
Speaker 1 (01:14:45):
More fun with Drake Bell.
Speaker 4 (01:14:47):
Thank you for joining us and more show coming up
next one one five kg be catching up with Drake
Bell here in studio. Yes, sorry, the volume knob for you,
Drake is.
Speaker 1 (01:14:57):
I got it? Okay, there you go, all right? Yeah, yeah,
I'm talking about a musician.
Speaker 4 (01:15:02):
He usually sits there and he will deafen you with
his headphones, so normally turns them all the way down.
Speaker 1 (01:15:10):
It hurts a little bit, hurts a little bit. I'll
be fine. I'll be fine.
Speaker 4 (01:15:13):
But Nickelodeon's star and musician whose albums go to number
one every single time they come out South.
Speaker 9 (01:15:21):
Mexican Border, in Mexico. But to put that part, you
can still say number one. But I mean to be
number one in a country. I don't care if it's Denmark,
I don't care if it's in a state. I don't
care if it's in this way, if it's Rhode Island,
I think that's cool.
Speaker 1 (01:15:35):
That's pretty amazing. It's a lot of fun.
Speaker 4 (01:15:37):
You're filling stadiums. People are coming to massive arenas to
see you perform. You and your bandmates. When you put
out an album, you literally write all the parts. You
find the best musicians you can to pair with when
you tour, and then you go out and you perform,
and you write all of your own music, which is
rare these days.
Speaker 1 (01:15:56):
Doing it for a long time, like I don't know
if you do? You know I wrote theme song to
drink and Josh, No, I didn't know that.
Speaker 12 (01:16:04):
When I was like fourteen, I thought it was.
Speaker 4 (01:16:14):
But you've got fletch? What what song was sent over
to you by love? We got love?
Speaker 12 (01:16:19):
So this is basically the kickoff of the album. This
will base this song will explain basically what the record's
about and what the whole message.
Speaker 2 (01:16:27):
Is.
Speaker 1 (01:16:27):
This the first time it's ever been played on radio.
Yes it is, and I'm very excited. So I had
to find this volume. Noble little taste of it here
a right, let's give it a listen. They tried to
sell it on a T shirt, tried to file it.
Speaker 12 (01:16:47):
Into forms, tried to trink it to a bumper stick,
but it'll never conform.
Speaker 1 (01:16:53):
They set it in a movie. They wrote it in
a song like no one never knil he ticks it wrong.
It's not a trick, not a line.
Speaker 12 (01:17:04):
Not a metaphor in rhyme, not a crown, not a kiss.
Speaker 13 (01:17:08):
It's your thing is No, that's the word, the first one,
the last one her No guy.
Speaker 1 (01:17:17):
No, if that's no need to track, you can't. You
can't screak, it leans and everything and.
Speaker 4 (01:17:26):
Between.
Speaker 13 (01:17:28):
It's the world sounds those down, It doesn't pay your mortgage,
doesn't unbelievable, it is.
Speaker 4 (01:17:48):
I mean this is a catchy too, but looks much.
Drake Bell, we can't thank you enough being in studio
celebrate this momentous occasion for the show Big rich T,
D and Fletch would not be a show without Cat.
Speaker 1 (01:18:08):
And it wasn't.
Speaker 4 (01:18:09):
And we've been waiting for this day for so long.
And she's back, She's beat cancer, clear margins, life is
good again.
Speaker 1 (01:18:17):
And Cat, we love you. Thank you guys so much.
Speaker 6 (01:18:19):
Man, Drake, thank you so much for coming in and
crossing the border to come and hang out with this morning.
Speaker 12 (01:18:25):
After reading that message, I could not do it. I'm
really it's an honor to be able to come in
and share some of the love with you guys. So
it's been great.
Speaker 1 (01:18:32):
Thank you. Yeah, fall safe travels.
Speaker 7 (01:18:34):
I would just like to say I got Drake, I.
Speaker 1 (01:18:38):
Got do we pour a glass of champagne? Okay, one
last time?
Speaker 4 (01:18:48):
A quick champagne poor and a toast to the one
and only Catfisher, who life is better.
Speaker 1 (01:18:54):
With than without. I'm so glad you're here. It's all
about love. Let's do it good. But that's prosecco, not champagne.
What way to kill you?
Speaker 4 (01:19:05):
He gets back from Europe, but he thinks he's the
coolest guy.
Speaker 1 (01:19:09):
Yea champagne and.
Speaker 7 (01:19:13):
Sparkling cider again all I had in my fridge. It
was non alcoholic. It was this or milk.
Speaker 1 (01:19:18):
Cat. I'm glad he went with martin Ella's and not
the milk because you know I don't drink theory. Yeah,
it's just like the Pentopians. All right, well Kat, this uh,
this toast is to you. Welcome back, welcome home, Thanks
you guys, we love you, I love you. Cheers man.
All right, that's it. That's pretty much the show today.
(01:19:41):
I'll tell you what that song sounds good does?
Speaker 6 (01:19:45):
What a day?
Speaker 4 (01:19:46):
It's been a quick recap. Cat's back. She and her
cousin they're stalkers.
Speaker 1 (01:19:53):
We showed up at your house in the middle.
Speaker 6 (01:19:56):
Well, it was approaching the night time, but we didn't
call you and let you know we were there.
Speaker 4 (01:20:00):
Fletch is a man purse guy now, and Drake Bell
is awesome.
Speaker 1 (01:20:04):
I'll do a man purse. I'm not afraid you'll do
a man cool. It's called a bag, Big rich TD
and fletch out can the speech.
Speaker 8 (01:20:18):
And soil Berna, bye bye, see later, I'll pick you
(01:20:41):
up and records to three.
Speaker 1 (01:20:42):
Okay, thank you boys,
