Speaker 1 (00:04):
How'd you do it, Batman?

Speaker 2 (00:06):
There's no time to explain, Robin. I want you both
to play exactly the same tune that you just heard. Batgirl,
you take the east side. Robin, you take the west side.
East side, west side. I'll go through the midtown, and
we'll meet each other at the docks. But, just play, Robin.
Play for all you're worth.

Speaker 3 (00:22):
It's another this or that Thursday And it's time to
pick a thing Like what's better on the playground? A
slide or a tight swing? A doorknob or a handle?

Speaker 2 (00:41):
Which one is best?

Speaker 1 (00:43):
You can pick some Argyle Sox.

Speaker 4 (00:54):
But Rich is ready for pumpkin spice fun. Can't stop
pretending to be sick now that work function's done.

Speaker 1 (01:12):
Fletch is in the zone.

Speaker 3 (01:15):
And he's ready to talk sports.

Speaker 4 (01:18):
It's so hot outside, TD.

Speaker 5 (01:22):
Might break out.

Speaker 4 (01:27):
We live in a cynical world.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
A cynical world.

Speaker 3 (01:30):
And we work in.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
A business of tough competitors.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
I love you.

Speaker 6 (01:33):
You.

Speaker 2 (01:57):
Complete me. Just shut up.

Speaker 5 (02:04):
Just shut up. You had me at hello.

Speaker 2 (02:09):
Happy Thursday to those who celebrate. It's Big Rich TV
and Fletch as always on Big Rich.

Speaker 7 (02:16):
To my left is Kat.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
Right in front of me is Fletch on the board.
And to my right. is a budding superstar in the
realm of AI music and pop culture. voiceover mashups yeah.

Speaker 8 (02:32):
I mean how soon before i'm canceled why would you
be canceled you're you're almost reaching exit velocity where nobody
can touch you.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
Anymore that was like a little bit of chicago except
with some juiced up vocals that was nice you know.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
I was trying wait you're saying the music sounded like
chicago the band yeah i was going for michael bolton Yeah,
I was going to say, it almost was too soulful
to be Michael Bolton, although that is a soulful white man.

Speaker 7 (02:59):
I was thinking almost more like Luther Vandross.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
Like in his younger years before he started getting a
little gravelly or more gravelly.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
Maybe I'll try that tomorrow.

Speaker 5 (03:09):
I would also like to set the record straight. I
was never faking being sick. However, I did skip the work.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
It's shocking how much better you are all.

Speaker 7 (03:19):
Of a sudden today.

Speaker 5 (03:20):
Yeah, because you guys, I slept all day yesterday before
I went to the J.

Speaker 1 (03:23):
Cole concert last night. I'll just pick up another illness.

Speaker 7 (03:28):
Quick time out.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
So this is legitimately the line of events that has occurred.
So Kat, beginning of the week. She comes in and
she looks like she's on death's door. Now, I missed
the day. There were some doctor's appointments that I had
to get to, could not move during the show. And
so I come in and I'm expecting to see Kat,

(03:52):
I mean, on death's door or missing the day because Wednesday,
I was told by you two, you're like, man, Kat,
I mean, she was like, like things were falling out
of every orifice. She was laying it on, literally snotting
and coughing all over.

Speaker 1 (04:05):
Guys, I was sick.

Speaker 8 (04:06):
Yesterday, when you walked in, your hair's all a mess.
You're just dragging all of your items. You look like
Linus from Peanuts walking in the door. Very sad.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
Yeah, yeah. She literally fell asleep while our new boss, Ben,
was talking to us.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
At one point, she had a blanket all the way
over her head. She looked like E.T.

Speaker 5 (04:26):
I was freezing.

Speaker 8 (04:27):
Now, I would like to point out, I did not
see Kat after the show yesterday. I did not speak
to Kat in person yesterday. I think there were just
a few texts. So, when that open was written... It
was just a hunch.

Speaker 7 (04:40):
That was just a hunch.

Speaker 2 (04:42):
So Kat miraculously could not make it to the Padres game,
but felt good enough to get to J.

Speaker 7 (04:49):
Cole and then walked in this morning. I mean, bubbly,
spirited even.

Speaker 5 (04:52):
Well, my Seahawks won last night.

Speaker 1 (04:54):
Shocking turnaround, Kat.

Speaker 5 (04:55):
My Seahawks won last night, so that helped me out
a bit.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
I also slept all.

Speaker 5 (05:00):
Day yesterday, and now my sleep debt is only around
five hours since.

Speaker 1 (05:04):
My aura rang.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
Listen, no shame in the game. If you want to
skip work and throw it on a sick day... I mean,
go for it. How was J. Cole? J.

Speaker 5 (05:12):
Cole was amazing.

Speaker 2 (05:14):
V.A.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
Hazarina was sold out. He's a great performer.

Speaker 5 (05:17):
I haven't seen J.

Speaker 1 (05:18):
Cole in like eight years, I think. I wouldn't know
anything that J. Cole.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
does all you need to know rest in peace uncle
phil he's like.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
He was uncle phil no no uncle.

Speaker 5 (05:31):
Phil has passed away so he could not.

Speaker 2 (05:33):
Be i don't know it was a hologram they call
him uh the vitamin c of the hip-hop game because
you go to a j cole concert all of a
sudden You are tip-top.

Speaker 1 (05:42):
You're the only father that I ever knew. If I
get my pregnant, I'm going to be a better you.

Speaker 2 (05:48):
That's J. Cole.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
Fletch really likes J.

Speaker 2 (05:50):
Cole.

Speaker 7 (05:52):
I've always said this. Chaucer, Walt Whitman. J.

Speaker 2 (05:55):
Cole. Like, that's my list of some of the top.

Speaker 1 (05:58):
Of this generation? You might be close.

Speaker 2 (06:01):
I mean, right.

Speaker 5 (06:02):
A man is a lyricist. Chaucer and Whitman are of
this generation. I even bought merch after the show. I
bought the bootleg merch outside of the show.

Speaker 2 (06:09):
Good.

Speaker 7 (06:10):
That's way to go.

Speaker 1 (06:11):
The t-shirt is 100% cotton. I made sure to check.

Speaker 2 (06:14):
Wait, I'm sure it is. Yeah, definitely.

Speaker 1 (06:17):
Way to support your favorite artist.

Speaker 2 (06:19):
Update.

Speaker 7 (06:20):
Jacob Coxon, or Coxon, is a real guy.

Speaker 2 (06:24):
The AI engineer who left Anthropic, who had previously been
employed by OpenAI, came out and said, within the decade,
we're all dead.

Speaker 5 (06:39):
At the hands, I guess you could.

Speaker 1 (06:42):
Say, of AI.

Speaker 2 (06:42):
Right, right.

Speaker 1 (06:43):
However, did you guys see what I sent you yesterday
from AI?

Speaker 5 (06:46):
No.

Speaker 1 (06:47):
High-fidelity booty cheeks? Oh, yeah, that's right. It's working.

Speaker 2 (06:51):
Okay, so Fletch found a, I guess, Twitter user, but
he may be on other social media pages, where he
is using the newest form of OpenAI's ChatGPT to create...
Very real slappable booty cheeks.

Speaker 1 (07:07):
Oh, my God.

Speaker 2 (07:08):
That that this gentleman is trying to use an agent,
which is like sort of like a self actuated, like
go and chase down to the end of the world,
like every single upgradable feature that will make this booty
slapping app better. And then he said he's going to
promote it by asking people to send him a dollar

(07:30):
and keep building it so he can keep, you know,
quote unquote, feeding the beast until this becomes such a
realistic booty slapping app that he's going to start putting,
you know, your favorite company's logos on the cheeks.

Speaker 1 (07:43):
It's already pretty realistic. Yeah, it's in really good shape
right now.

Speaker 5 (07:46):
Notice how women are not making apps themselves.

Speaker 1 (07:50):
Showcasing men's bodies.

Speaker 2 (07:52):
Well, it's because men's bodies are gross.

Speaker 1 (07:54):
Ladies' bodies are cool.

Speaker 2 (07:55):
You guys need to learn code, I guess.

Speaker 1 (07:58):
You guys don't know code. You're using AI.

Speaker 8 (08:00):
I don't know. We use the tools that are given
to us. Kat, I don't know what you want us
to do.

Speaker 2 (08:04):
We also made fire once upon a time because we
were like, lightning, sky fire, lightning hit ground, ground fire,
cow make fire, me make fire.

Speaker 1 (08:15):
I just love that he's called the app High Fidelity Cheeks.

Speaker 2 (08:18):
And it was getting back to Jacob Cox.

Speaker 7 (08:21):
He jumped on with Anderson Cooper.

Speaker 2 (08:24):
He was interviewed yesterday and basically reiterated the same concerns.
And and now there's a lot of engineers coming out
and saying, like, yeah, this is.

Speaker 7 (08:34):
This is going kind of crazy.

Speaker 2 (08:37):
In fact, I was listening to a different engineer from
both of the two who came out on Twitter over
the weekend or early this week talk about all of this.
And he said, look, this is like the scene in
Jurassic Park where the guy with the gun is guarding
the raptors. And he's like, what's the point? Yeah, he's like,

(08:58):
this is now inevitable. The dinosaurs are going to get out.
They're going to kill everyone in the park.

Speaker 1 (09:03):
Ah, that makes me so nervous.

Speaker 8 (09:05):
It doesn't really seem like it's going to be that
hard for robots to take over. I mean, a cat
is wearing a robot ring that she bows to because
it says you need to sleep.

Speaker 5 (09:13):
I don't bow to it, but yeah, it does give
you your stats on... This isn't a robot ring. It's
monitoring my heart rate and things.

Speaker 2 (09:20):
If a Roomba's a robot, that thing's a robot. She
put the ring on yesterday, and it gave her the
power to see J. Cole!

Speaker 7 (09:29):
Once all work obligations were safely missed.

Speaker 1 (09:32):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (09:33):
Yes, yes, yes, yes. All right. We've got to talk
about the biggest news out of yesterday, or I should
say last night. The NFL season has officially kicked off,
and we'll discuss it next in the Fletch Zone.

Speaker 7 (09:47):
It's Big Rich TD and Fletch, and it's.

Speaker 2 (09:50):
Time to do the thing that we do every single
day around this time. Ladies and gentlemen. He walked in
with the confidence. of a cassowary in captivity, slamming up
against the cage with its prehistoric claws, saying, let me out.

Speaker 7 (10:09):
Seething, breathing, salivating for this opportunity. Is it time? The
answer is yes.

Speaker 2 (10:17):
Is it now?

Speaker 7 (10:18):
The answer is inevitably.

Speaker 2 (10:20):
Where is the location of said event down on Da?

Speaker 7 (10:25):
Throw another shrimp on the barbie.

Speaker 3 (10:27):
This is the Fletcher!

Speaker 7 (10:31):
We're Fletch Talk Sports.

Speaker 2 (10:33):
How about this? Padres sweep the Nationals.

Speaker 1 (10:35):
Padres back in a playoff spot.

Speaker 2 (10:37):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (10:37):
They're not playing jump rope with the Arizona Diamondbacks right now,
but as of today, if the season ended today.

Speaker 7 (10:43):
The Padres are in the postseason.

Speaker 5 (10:45):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (10:45):
All right, the NFL made its triumphant return last night,
and after the pomp and the circumstance of the Seahawks'
Super Bowl banner drop, the celebration of the team that was,
a really weird rendition of the national anthem by Pearl
Jam guitarist, it was time for game time. The ball
is placed on the tee. The ball gets kicked off,
and exactly five plays later, the starting quarterback for the
Seattle Seahawks, Sam Darnold, gets hurt. He's been in the

(11:07):
hospital pretty much all night dealing with some sort of
hip thing. He's going to have more MRIs later this
week to determine the severity of it. But the Seahawks
do endure. They win 13 to 10. Congratulations, Kat, by
behind a stellar game from former Bronco and backup quarterback
Drew Locke and three interceptions from the Seattle Seahawks defense.

Speaker 2 (11:24):
Kind of a dud for the opener of the season.
A little bit.

Speaker 1 (11:26):
Because you had two major players get hurt basically right away.
Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold, newly acquired wide receiver for the Patriots, A.J.

Speaker 6 (11:33):
Brown.

Speaker 1 (11:34):
But it was just a defensive slugfest all night.

Speaker 2 (11:37):
Yeah, it reminded me. It was very reminiscent of the
Super Bowl. It didn't feel like a lot happened. And
then there were short bursts where meaningful plays were made.
But overall, a sloppy game forced by two great defenses clashing.
And yeah, really sad news for the Seattle Seahawks. If
that is like a hip fracture, which Dr. Chow, actually

(11:59):
my orthopedic surgeon said, He's pro football doc on Twitter.

Speaker 7 (12:03):
He evaluates film.

Speaker 2 (12:04):
He said that Sam Darnold may have something called like
an anterior whatever fracture, and it could be his season
being done or in serious danger of having an extremely
long recovery throughout.

Speaker 6 (12:16):
Woof.

Speaker 2 (12:17):
Yeah. And then you look at the ankle of AJ Brown.
They literally just traded all of the offseason nightmare for
the Patriots with Vrabel and what he was going through
with Diana Rossini. And they start this season with the
star receiver who stole the headlines.

Speaker 7 (12:31):
Out for whatever.

Speaker 2 (12:32):
Length of time it takes him to get back from
an ankle. Terrible.

Speaker 6 (12:35):
Brutal.

Speaker 7 (12:36):
Brutal start to the season. But tonight is game two.

Speaker 2 (12:39):
49ers, Rams.

Speaker 1 (12:40):
It's technically a Rams home game in Melbourne, Australia. It's
on Netflix only, so Kat, use that gift card. Okay.
In terms of ins and outs for the game, Aaron Donald,
who came out of retirement to join the Rams once again,
is not playing.

Speaker 7 (12:52):
He didn't even make the trip to Australia.

Speaker 1 (12:54):
On the Niners side, Nick Bosa and George Kittle, who
were both officially questionable for game one all offseason.

Speaker 7 (13:00):
Are officially in for tonight's game.

Speaker 1 (13:02):
Now, I'd love to get everyone's opinion on this, and Kat,
the sleep deck queen, maybe you can help out. The
49ers have been in Australia for more than a week
getting ready for this game to try to get acclimated
to the time change and everything. The Rams arrived yesterday
for this game. So it's two very different strategies. And
by the way, the NFL is kind of pissed at
the Rams because they're the technical home team. But the

(13:22):
Niners have been doing all the PR in Australia and
all the.

Speaker 2 (13:25):
Events and everything.

Speaker 1 (13:26):
But getting acclimated for the game, what strategy is going
to work?

Speaker 5 (13:30):
I think it's aren't they plus 19 hours in Australia?

Speaker 2 (13:33):
It's significant. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (13:35):
Yeah. That's I mean, that's.

Speaker 1 (13:37):
Too much to not have.

Speaker 5 (13:39):
Significant time to be able to figure out that time
change well that messes.

Speaker 2 (13:43):
You up there's sleep experts on who are split over
this so that you can find a lot of people
say the rams are doing it right yeah well that's
true but then there's like a fair amount of sleep
experts who said oh no san francisco's got it right
so here's the the big question how does the nfl
handle this if the rams go out there and absolutely
demolish the san francisco 49ers Well, then they just sort

(14:07):
of made the case that that's the right way to
do it.

Speaker 7 (14:10):
Although if I'm a player, I would hate that.

Speaker 2 (14:12):
I would want, I mean, if you're forcing us to
travel a world away to go and.

Speaker 1 (14:16):
Play in this game. I mean, it's also a long flight.

Speaker 7 (14:18):
Yeah, give us.

Speaker 1 (14:20):
A week in Australia to actually see the sights a
little bit.

Speaker 7 (14:23):
Well, the Rams are turning around right after the game
coming back.

Speaker 2 (14:25):
I know.

Speaker 7 (14:26):
I would want to pet a kangaroo. No time for that.

Speaker 1 (14:30):
The Rams playing, they all had lay down beds so
they could all sleep on the whole flight. However, a
couple of them, Miles Garrett, namely, he was interviewed saying,
I can't sleep on planes.

Speaker 2 (14:38):
So I'm screwed.

Speaker 1 (14:38):
I'm going to be like negative 25 hours of sleep
by the time the game actually starts.

Speaker 2 (14:42):
I hate the international games.

Speaker 1 (14:44):
I hate them so much.

Speaker 7 (14:44):
Yeah, I know you do. Just play here.

Speaker 1 (14:47):
It's been kind of cool seeing the Niners interacting with
the people in Australia. And by the way, this is
expected to be essentially a Niner sellout in a Rams
home game.

Speaker 2 (14:56):
Interesting.

Speaker 1 (14:56):
Not too much different from when they play in L.A.
That's actually a very good point. How excited?

Speaker 2 (15:02):
Because Fletch is our resident 49ers fan. How excited are
you to see Brock Purdy? I'm pooping my pants, man.

Speaker 1 (15:08):
I'm nervous. It's so scary.

Speaker 2 (15:09):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (15:10):
Let's take a trip to the bathroom.

Speaker 7 (15:12):
Not actually.

Speaker 2 (15:13):
Metaphorically.

Speaker 7 (15:13):
And then go sit in his chair.

Speaker 2 (15:16):
What?

Speaker 7 (15:16):
I double-dog dare you.

Speaker 1 (15:18):
She won't do it. It's just a tip with Big Rich.

Speaker 7 (15:23):
Ah, yes it is.

Speaker 2 (15:24):
Just a little bit of advice I like to pass
out your way. It's yours for the taking if you
want it. Push it back this way if you don't.
No harm, no foul. Today's tip is... It comes around
lawn care.

Speaker 7 (15:38):
Check this out.

Speaker 2 (15:39):
I'm in. Let's go. I have turf.

Speaker 7 (15:40):
So you would say, Rich, what kind of lawn care
do you have?

Speaker 2 (15:45):
So much.

Speaker 5 (15:45):
You got to probably clean that stuff out. It's like
the McDonald's ball pit. Who knows what's in there?

Speaker 2 (15:50):
Thank you.

Speaker 7 (15:51):
And you don't know.

Speaker 1 (15:52):
You're talking about your turf?

Speaker 7 (15:53):
I'm talking about my turf.

Speaker 1 (15:54):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (15:55):
All right. And I just learned this because with a
new puppy, that is a poop and pee factory. Yeah. Oh,
my gosh. And these dogs, I mean, they have no
respect for your turf or where you nest. I mean,
the one thing I won't complain about, she's figuring out
that outside is where you do your business, inside you don't.

Speaker 7 (16:16):
So that's great news.

Speaker 2 (16:17):
But then in the sweltering heat we're having, my goodness,
the turf can get a little ripe.

Speaker 1 (16:23):
Yeah, it gets real hot.

Speaker 2 (16:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (16:25):
Real hot.

Speaker 2 (16:26):
Okay, so this is what you do. And I just
learned about this. So there's these enzymatic cleaners. OK, that
you can buy this little connection to your hose or
you can buy a bottle that connects directly to your
hose and you can spray it onto your lawn using
either either.

Speaker 7 (16:47):
I forget what they call it. It's like this.

Speaker 2 (16:49):
This it's basically what like you would have at a
car wash. It's a it's a it's a spray bottle
that has a hose connection. Exactly correct. So the kind
I bought and I'm sure there's many different brands, but
it's called Simple Green. That's the one.

Speaker 7 (17:02):
That's the one?

Speaker 1 (17:02):
That's the one.

Speaker 7 (17:04):
Have you used this in the past? Don't buy the
other one.

Speaker 2 (17:06):
Okay.

Speaker 7 (17:06):
I'm so glad I made the right choice.

Speaker 1 (17:08):
That's the one that works.

Speaker 2 (17:09):
Okay, so if you have a turf lawn and you've
got a dog and you've realized right now with the
heat sticking around the 90s, no matter where you are
in the county, 100 in some places, you're thinking to yourself, man,
it just smells.

Speaker 7 (17:22):
Like a damn bathroom.

Speaker 2 (17:24):
Right. I mean, like it's, it's El Banyo when I
walk out the door, you, you gotta, you gotta grab
the hose. You gotta grab some of this simple green
and just hose down your lawn with it.

Speaker 1 (17:32):
And I'm telling you, where does it go from there? Oh,
right into the groundwater.

Speaker 2 (17:37):
Yes, yes, yes, yes. Fine.

Speaker 8 (17:39):
There's also a, there's also some sort of topper that
you can put on it.

Speaker 1 (17:43):
That's supposed to help. I tried that too. The Simple
Green is what really helped.

Speaker 2 (17:46):
Is that? Okay. All right. So that's just the tip
with Big Rich. Simple Green, you must do it. 101.5 KGB.
It's Big Rich TD and Fletch. Okay. So on a
this or that Thursday, this idea just popped into my
head because we were watching one of the news channels.
There's some popsicles being eaten at... 7 in the morning.

Speaker 5 (18:06):
Well, after the last few days that we've had, you
need to start cooling off early.

Speaker 7 (18:10):
So this or that.

Speaker 2 (18:12):
On a steaming hot day like we've experienced for really
the past two or three weeks down here in San Diego,
popsicle or frozen yogurt in an ice cream? Hands down,
not even close, a frozen yogurt.

Speaker 1 (18:25):
I agree with TD.

Speaker 2 (18:26):
I do not want a popsicle icy nothing. As a
matter of fact, I've had frozen yogurt twice this week.
And it was this morning, twice.

Speaker 5 (18:35):
What about a sour popsicle?

Speaker 1 (18:36):
Those are elite.

Speaker 2 (18:38):
Oh, man.

Speaker 7 (18:38):
Now you've really lost me, Kat.

Speaker 2 (18:40):
What?

Speaker 1 (18:40):
I've never even tried one.

Speaker 5 (18:41):
You guys don't like sour popsicles?

Speaker 6 (18:43):
No.

Speaker 1 (18:44):
Never even attempted one.

Speaker 2 (18:46):
Gosh, I'm going to.

Speaker 1 (18:46):
Bring in a box tomorrow.

Speaker 7 (18:47):
Actually, I'm not saying I wouldn't like it, but I
just wouldn't.

Speaker 5 (18:51):
Now you're changing your tune.

Speaker 2 (18:52):
On a hot day. Is it like a Sour Batch Kids?

Speaker 7 (18:54):
Kind of.

Speaker 2 (18:54):
Hang on, hang on.

Speaker 1 (18:55):
Time out.

Speaker 2 (18:56):
Is this something that's like really popular in the Pacific Northwest?

Speaker 5 (19:00):
No, I mean like anywhere. If we go to Walmart
down the street, you can get sour popsicles.

Speaker 2 (19:05):
Yeah, but no one talks about a sour popsicle. So
it might be available. Also, Kat, another time out. Do
you realize how many popsicles I buy per week?

Speaker 7 (19:16):
I'm not even kidding you.

Speaker 5 (19:17):
You guys run through popsicles in your household?

Speaker 2 (19:19):
I would guess we probably buy 20 individual popsicles per
week and have been since the kids turned popsicle age.
I mean, so we're talking about half a decade or
more of popsicle buying. I have not once yet seen
a sour popsicle at a grocery store.

Speaker 5 (19:38):
I promise this is not a Seattle thing. And if
you buy yourself some sour popsicles.

Speaker 1 (19:42):
Tonight, Rich, you will... Highly, highly enjoy them.

Speaker 8 (19:46):
I have seen them. I've never thought of buying one.
In fact, I haven't bought a pop.

Speaker 7 (19:50):
For anyone in our family.

Speaker 1 (19:51):
What brand makes them?

Speaker 2 (19:51):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (19:52):
Probably all the brands. Now that I'm thinking about it,
Kendall has sour popsicles, but they're not like full on
a stick. They're like little bite-sized ones.

Speaker 5 (19:58):
No, yeah, it's the ones on a stick.

Speaker 4 (20:00):
What?

Speaker 5 (20:01):
You can get them from the ice cream man, the
truck that rolls by.

Speaker 7 (20:03):
I can't even picture what a sour popsicle is.

Speaker 5 (20:05):
It looks exactly like a normal popsicle, but it's sour.

Speaker 2 (20:08):
Are you talking about like a lime popsicle?

Speaker 5 (20:10):
No, they have sour ones.

Speaker 1 (20:11):
There's like bomb pops that are sour.

Speaker 2 (20:13):
Oh, no. This is crazy.

Speaker 8 (20:16):
What?

Speaker 7 (20:17):
You always say the craziest thing, and it throws us.

Speaker 5 (20:19):
I promise you will love them.

Speaker 2 (20:21):
If you're getting a popsicle, you either want the big
stick where it's cherry pineapple.

Speaker 1 (20:25):
The bomb pop, the red, white, and blue one is awesome.

Speaker 4 (20:28):
Or.

Speaker 7 (20:29):
You go fudgesicle.

Speaker 2 (20:30):
Tell you what.

Speaker 1 (20:31):
A fudgesicle?

Speaker 7 (20:31):
This is how much of a popsicle guy I am now.

Speaker 2 (20:34):
Not only would I say popsicle over fro-yo or soft
serve or ice cream on a hot day.

Speaker 7 (20:41):
Johnny Pops. Highly recommend.

Speaker 2 (20:43):
Johnny Pops. Johnny Pops is a great brand of popsicle.
All natural flavors. None of the food dies. And it
tastes just like the OGs. Absolutely delicious.

Speaker 1 (20:54):
I don't know this. I only know unnatural flavors.

Speaker 2 (20:58):
Not of this world. All right.

Speaker 1 (20:59):
Hot days.

Speaker 2 (21:00):
Ice cream cones or popsicles on a this or that Thursday.

Speaker 7 (21:03):
We want to hear from you.

Speaker 3 (21:04):
Man, oh man.

Speaker 2 (21:10):
Can you guys believe that 25 years ago today was
the day before our world changed?

Speaker 1 (21:17):
9-11, man.

Speaker 6 (21:20):
9-11.

Speaker 8 (21:20):
We're looking at the 25th anniversary coming up tomorrow. And
the ports of entry here in San Diego are going
to hold a brief moment of silence at 546 a.m.
A moment of silence will be held to honor the
first responders. law enforcement, military service members, and those impacted
by the attacks that took place on September 11th, 2001.

Speaker 2 (21:40):
Man, that was easily one of the scariest days of,
I would imagine, all of our lives in this room.
If you're too young to remember, it was an incredible
moment where humanity kind of stopped. And then all of
a sudden Americans came together everywhere to ask, what can

(22:01):
I do?

Speaker 7 (22:01):
How can I help? And it was awful and beautiful
all at once.

Speaker 8 (22:09):
Honestly, I mean, the unifying of the country on the
days after 9-11, and not, I mean, right after, but
a couple weeks after things started to settle in and
what was going on, and we were all just Americans.
And there wasn't division and fighting that was going on
within the country that I felt. I wish that my

(22:33):
kids could feel it. without having some tragedy.

Speaker 2 (22:38):
Yeah, that is the unfortunate reality of just perspective and time.
The same way time heals wounds, it also leads you
to forget how good we can all be to each other.

Speaker 7 (22:53):
But yeah, we.

Speaker 2 (22:54):
Will absolutely honor all of those who were brave enough
to run into danger while the rest of us Tried
to get away from danger that day. There's no question
about it.

Speaker 1 (23:04):
Tomorrow's going to be a tough day, I think.

Speaker 2 (23:07):
Oh, yeah. 25 years.

Speaker 5 (23:08):
I think every 9-11 is a tough day because it
brings you back to that moment of where you were.
And that's one of the few times, one of the
few days where you, I feel like everybody remembers where
they were when they heard the news, how they felt.

Speaker 2 (23:23):
Yeah, no question. Where were you in moment? That's definitely
one of them. The San Diego Rodeo will return to
Petco Park. It's going to happen Martin Luther King Jr.
Day weekend. That will be January 15th through the 17th.

Speaker 8 (23:35):
It's going to feature the world's top rodeo athletes competing
for $ 750, 000, culminating in the championship Sunday when the winners
are crowned 750 Grand Fletch.

Speaker 7 (23:46):
Can you ride a bull?

Speaker 1 (23:47):
Working on it.

Speaker 2 (23:48):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (23:48):
Got like four seconds down, and then it just kicks
me right off.

Speaker 2 (23:51):
I need to get all the way up to eight.

Speaker 1 (23:52):
Yeah, you got to get to eight seconds.

Speaker 2 (23:53):
Man, I watched a video of an old rodeo rider,
this cowboy who was just wearing his denim shirt and
his cowboy hat low over his brow.

Speaker 7 (24:06):
And he had a shoulder that just hung out of place.

Speaker 2 (24:10):
It's crazy.

Speaker 1 (24:11):
I mean, his arm just dangled from where it connects.
I went to college with a couple of bull riders
who like the Cal Poly Rodeo is one of the
big ones in the state. And they both had broken
both collarbones.

Speaker 5 (24:22):
Oh, yeah.

Speaker 1 (24:22):
They both had had multiple ankle surgeries, and they both
have been stomped on in their chest by bulls. It's
crazy what they go through. And they love it. Cool sport. Like,
they love it.

Speaker 2 (24:32):
You'll never get them off those bulls. What's also bizarre
is to think of the bulls as athletes, too, because
they really are, like, highly trained. If they don't muck. Muscular. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (24:43):
Just cut, chiseled beasts.

Speaker 2 (24:45):
Sinuous. Sweaty. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (24:48):
By the way, we talk about how much pain going
to a spin class with Kat would be on the
little Fletches and the little Riches and the little TDs.
Imagine a bull. Like a bull is a bike that
punches back.

Speaker 5 (24:58):
If the bull riders can do that, you guys can
come to a cycle bar class.

Speaker 1 (25:02):
I'm sick. Just one.

Speaker 2 (25:05):
I'm sick. I'm not like.

Speaker 7 (25:07):
I'm not, like, too sick to not go to J.

Speaker 2 (25:10):
Cole, but I am way too sick to go to
cycling class.

Speaker 7 (25:13):
Yeah, if there was cycles at J.

Speaker 2 (25:15):
Cole, I would be there.

Speaker 5 (25:16):
Okay, I know you guys always say that you're busy
on Saturdays. However, I am subbing a class on Sunday,
so maybe you're available then.

Speaker 1 (25:23):
I'm going to Vegas to see J.

Speaker 2 (25:25):
Cole.

Speaker 1 (25:25):
A day of rest. First Sunday of the NFL weekend.
We're watching football.

Speaker 2 (25:28):
Oh, good point.

Speaker 5 (25:29):
Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1 (25:30):
I'm going to be.

Speaker 2 (25:31):
Going to Motley Crue, North Island Cutting Union Amphitheater. I've
got to prepare.

Speaker 1 (25:36):
Camping out early?

Speaker 2 (25:37):
I've got to prepare. Yeah, yeah. I've got a lot
of preparations to make. And so will you with a
pair of tickets to Motley Crue.

Speaker 1 (25:44):
We need you to.

Speaker 2 (25:45):
Call this number, 888-570-1015 at exactly 737. That is the
cue to call, the time to call Motley Crue.

Speaker 7 (25:54):
888-570-1015. Call her 10.

Speaker 2 (25:56):
You're going to see not only Motley Crue, but Tesla
and Extreme at North Island Credit Union Amphitheater down in Chula.
That's going to be a September 18th show. Head to
Ticketmaster.com for more information. Okay. So with that out of
the way, we get back to a this or that Thursday.
Your next question coming down the barrel, and it's a

(26:19):
good one.

Speaker 7 (26:19):
It's a good one. And it's about weddings.

Speaker 2 (26:22):
That's next.

Speaker 7 (26:23):
1-1-5, KGB, Big Rich, TD, and Fletch.

Speaker 2 (26:25):
All right. Would you rather be too sick to attend
a wedding or not be invited to a wedding at all?

Speaker 1 (26:33):
Oh, that's such an easy answer.

Speaker 7 (26:35):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (26:35):
All right.

Speaker 7 (26:35):
This is a this or that Thursday.

Speaker 2 (26:38):
And so a lot of people love, and I mean love,
to be invited to weddings. In fact, they'll be horribly
offended if they're not. So I do think that this
is going to probably be a hard.

Speaker 7 (26:50):
Now, okay.

Speaker 2 (26:52):
Don't get me wrong. There are some weddings that you
don't want to attend. But imagine it's a wedding that
you would want to attend. But look, you got to
fly there. You got to stay there. You got to
get a gift.

Speaker 8 (27:04):
I mean.

Speaker 7 (27:05):
Isn't it just easier to be sick?

Speaker 2 (27:07):
I think I'd rather be sick.

Speaker 5 (27:09):
Well, sick would be at the last minute. And then
it's like you probably have already made all your travel reservations.
You probably already bought them a gift. They have the
seats reserved for you at the wedding.

Speaker 2 (27:19):
Maybe you're going to get them a gift anyways. So
you're out only $ 200 instead of the $ 850. I don't know.

Speaker 5 (27:23):
It's really inconvenient for everybody if you're sick last minute
at a wedding.

Speaker 1 (27:27):
If it's a wedding that I have to fly to,
I'm not going anyways. Oh. You're declining that invite.

Speaker 2 (27:32):
Thanks for the invite.

Speaker 1 (27:33):
But you'll drive 48 hours to go to a wedding.
You're doing that in like a couple weeks, aren't you? January, February,
I don't know. Couple months. Yeah, something like that.

Speaker 7 (27:42):
How far do you got to travel?

Speaker 1 (27:44):
Salt Lake City. And he's driving. Well, he's an idiot.

Speaker 2 (27:48):
It's only like 11 hours. Okay.

Speaker 1 (27:50):
That's all it takes to drive.

Speaker 7 (27:51):
Wait a second.

Speaker 2 (27:52):
You just said if I have to fly to a wedding,
I ain't going. You're driving 11 hours. That's harder than
a flight.

Speaker 1 (27:58):
It is.

Speaker 2 (27:58):
That's why it's easy. Way harder than a flight.

Speaker 8 (28:01):
I get in the car on Friday after the show
and bam, I'm in Salt Lake City.

Speaker 1 (28:05):
I'm A-OK not being invited to anybody's wedding.

Speaker 7 (28:07):
Except for cats.

Speaker 2 (28:08):
We need to be in cats.

Speaker 5 (28:10):
You guys will be invited to mine as long as
we're still working together when I get married.

Speaker 7 (28:14):
Wait, 20 years from now?

Speaker 1 (28:15):
We're not working together?

Speaker 2 (28:16):
We're not friends anymore?

Speaker 7 (28:18):
And I mean this. I am unoffendable when it comes
to not inviting me to events.

Speaker 2 (28:23):
Really? Even if I find out that everyone that I
know went to an event, if you don't invite me,
I just assume... Well, this is a lot easier. Just
another one off the Christmas card list. I don't care.
I don't need to be there.

Speaker 8 (28:37):
Kat, everyone you've ever worked with in your past still
contacts you.

Speaker 2 (28:41):
You talk to, you talk about. And then us, if
you stop working with us, we're cut off. Yeah, that's
a great point. Actually, she does have a bunch of
block numbers in her phone. Oh, that is true.

Speaker 7 (28:52):
We'll just be thrown on that hay pile.

Speaker 6 (28:54):
Nothing.

Speaker 1 (28:54):
Not people I used to work with, though.

Speaker 5 (28:56):
You are right, GD. I would still keep up with
you guys. And let's be real. It's going to take
a while.

Speaker 1 (29:02):
I'm not even dating somebody. So it's going to be
a while before I get married.

Speaker 7 (29:07):
Well, we better be invited to that one.

Speaker 2 (29:09):
And if we're not, we'll take it as like kind
of like you really know us then.

Speaker 1 (29:15):
Just a nod.

Speaker 5 (29:16):
Can you imagine if I got married while we were
working together?

Speaker 1 (29:19):
I came to work on a Monday and you guys
are like, what'd you do this weekend?

Speaker 5 (29:22):
Oh, here we go. Here's my wedding photos.

Speaker 2 (29:25):
I somehow can imagine this.

Speaker 1 (29:28):
Kat would be the courthouse marriage lady.

Speaker 7 (29:31):
Oh, there's no doubt in my mind.

Speaker 1 (29:33):
What's it called?

Speaker 6 (29:34):
Eloping.

Speaker 1 (29:35):
I thought about it.

Speaker 5 (29:36):
There's a couple of courthouses that I would like.

Speaker 1 (29:38):
To elope at.

Speaker 7 (29:40):
Wait, fascinating.

Speaker 2 (29:42):
You scouted courthouses that you would like to take pictures at?

Speaker 5 (29:45):
Yes, there's one that popped up on my TikTok algorithm.

Speaker 1 (29:50):
No one has ever done this.

Speaker 5 (29:52):
Yes, they have.

Speaker 2 (29:53):
We've got big time questions to ask and we'll ask
all of them.

Speaker 1 (29:57):
Coming up next.

Speaker 2 (29:58):
Okay, so Catfisher, we're doing a this or that Thursday question.
Would you rather be too sick to attend a wedding
or would you rather not be invited to a wedding
at all? Now, I would put a disclaimer in that,
of course, it.

Speaker 7 (30:15):
Would be probably dependent on who's inviting you to the wedding,
how badly you wanted to go. But in general, I
think I would... Just rather not be invited.

Speaker 2 (30:25):
I don't want my health necessarily be sacrificed to not go.
But if you could please just not invite me, that'd
be me.

Speaker 5 (30:34):
Well, yeah, I actually agree because if you're to the
point where you're on the verge of being invited or not,
like you're right on the cusp, I would rather not
be invited because it's probably somebody you're not super close with.

Speaker 7 (30:45):
Even if I was super close with the person.

Speaker 2 (30:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (30:48):
You're not interested in going to weddings these days?

Speaker 2 (30:50):
No, no, no.

Speaker 7 (30:51):
Listen to me. I'll go to the wedding if I'm invited.

Speaker 2 (30:53):
In fact, I'll go to weddings that I guess I
am one of the fringe guests. Rich was invited to
my wedding.

Speaker 5 (31:01):
And he didn't go?

Speaker 2 (31:02):
He did not go.

Speaker 7 (31:02):
I didn't.

Speaker 2 (31:03):
What?

Speaker 6 (31:03):
No.

Speaker 1 (31:04):
You declined?

Speaker 7 (31:05):
I absolutely did.

Speaker 2 (31:06):
Oh, man.

Speaker 5 (31:06):
Rich declined your wedding?

Speaker 1 (31:08):
He gave me a very nice present.

Speaker 7 (31:10):
It's okay.

Speaker 1 (31:10):
You saved me 125 bucks. I'll tell you exactly why.
Because Fletch was fishing for the gift. He barely knew
me at that point. We were on a show together. No,
that is absolutely not true.

Speaker 2 (31:20):
Yes, you were in the way. It was Hartman and
Rich O.

Speaker 7 (31:22):
That's impossible.

Speaker 2 (31:23):
No.

Speaker 5 (31:25):
I will say.

Speaker 2 (31:26):
I produced that show.

Speaker 5 (31:27):
If you guys were newly on a show together, that
probably was a bit of a pity invite. Like, I
kind of have to invite you.

Speaker 1 (31:32):
I had known Rich for five years.

Speaker 5 (31:34):
Oh.

Speaker 7 (31:35):
Steve didn't go either.

Speaker 2 (31:37):
Now.

Speaker 5 (31:37):
Seriously? You guys both declined your producer's wedding invitation?

Speaker 2 (31:42):
Did they decline or say they would go and not
show up? No, they both declined. Oh, yeah, yeah. Immediately.

Speaker 1 (31:46):
And they both gave very, very nice gifts.

Speaker 2 (31:48):
Oh, yeah. I'm not complaining.

Speaker 1 (31:49):
You guys saved me probably 400 bucks.

Speaker 2 (31:51):
Oh, yeah. I told him. I was like, you don't
want to be there. So Rich saved you 125 and Steve.

Speaker 1 (31:56):
No 275 rich and annie it was 125 a person
yeah yeah steve would have been a.

Speaker 5 (32:00):
Solo i actually disagree though rich i feel like you
would be a top tier wedding guest because you're personable
you dance like you're the kind of guy that i
would want at my wedding.

Speaker 2 (32:10):
I'm telling you right now you're gonna start a dance
circle yeah i i i am a blast to have
at your wedding i just don't want to be there
i want to go to all the weddings well uh
except for maybe the one at the courthouse Now that's
where we need to get to.

Speaker 7 (32:24):
Catherine, you have a lot of explaining to do.

Speaker 2 (32:26):
What do you mean? You have been scoping out wedding
venues without us.

Speaker 1 (32:32):
Oh my goodness.

Speaker 2 (32:34):
We'll be watching you, Kat. We'll be watching your Instagram
stories awfully closely over the next couple of months because
it sounds like somebody's about to get.

Speaker 7 (32:44):
hitched elopement style.

Speaker 8 (32:46):
Yeah wow you've been uh you've been searching through magazines
cutting out your your to-do list your want list your
dream what do they call the thing that you dream
board dream board yeah a vision board vision board that's
the one thank you yeah yeah pinning things to your vision.

Speaker 5 (33:01):
Board no i wouldn't say i've been doing that but
you've scoped out courthouses you want to be married in.
There was a civic center that popped up on my
page at some point, and I was like, wow, this
place is beautiful. It happens to be in California.

Speaker 2 (33:18):
This happens to a lot of women's Instagram when they
are researching wedding venues.

Speaker 5 (33:24):
Well, I haven't been researching wedding venues, but there's this
civic center in Marin County.

Speaker 1 (33:29):
It's just outside of San Francisco.

Speaker 5 (33:31):
It was designed by the architect Fabian Frank Lloyd Wright,
and it's beautiful. It's stunning in photos. A lot of
people have weddings there. It's affordable. You can bring up
to 30 guests. I have read the reviews on it,
and I feel like it would be a good option
of a place to get married.

Speaker 2 (33:51):
I do know that when every girl is dreaming of
their wedding and picturing what it's going to be, they picture.

Speaker 1 (33:58):
At the courthouse.

Speaker 8 (33:59):
It doesn't look like a normal courthouse. With 30 people.
There will be up to 30 people there.

Speaker 2 (34:06):
This is not only what somebody does when they are
looking to get married quickly, but also looking to have
children immediately.

Speaker 5 (34:16):
You guys, I'm not looking to get married quickly.

Speaker 1 (34:18):
I haven't even gone on a.

Speaker 5 (34:19):
Date in like a year.

Speaker 7 (34:20):
Two questions at once. Are you pregnant? And what's his name?

Speaker 2 (34:24):
Oh, yeah.

Speaker 5 (34:25):
There's nobody's name. And no, I'm not pregnant. The other
place I would get married would be a national park.
And if you would like to know which national park,
it would be the Grand Tetons.

Speaker 7 (34:35):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (34:35):
Is that legal?

Speaker 2 (34:36):
Let's see them Grand Tetons.

Speaker 5 (34:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (34:40):
How many people can attend the Grand Teton wedding?

Speaker 1 (34:42):
I think it's somewhere. I think it's somewhere around there.

Speaker 7 (34:44):
You just need to have the national park pass.

Speaker 2 (34:47):
Oh, I'm in.

Speaker 1 (34:48):
I got one of those. I got a life pass.

Speaker 2 (34:51):
Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 7 (34:52):
I'll tell you what, Kat. This sounds wonderful.

Speaker 2 (34:57):
It sounds— in all honesty, if you do get hitched at
the Marin County Civic Center, it's gorgeous. It really is.

Speaker 7 (35:06):
It's positively gorgeous. The question is, who are you getting
married to?

Speaker 5 (35:10):
Okay, I still don't know. I need somebody to flirt
with me at some point in my life.

Speaker 2 (35:15):
All right, 888-579-1155.

Speaker 7 (35:17):
We've got the venue and the lady. We just need
the guy to flirt with Kat.

Speaker 1 (35:23):
Age range?

Speaker 2 (35:23):
35, 65?

Speaker 1 (35:23):
35 to 58.

Speaker 5 (35:26):
35 to 50.

Speaker 2 (35:29):
Why do you struggle on 50?

Speaker 5 (35:34):
It seems so high up there, but when I think
about my age, it's really not.

Speaker 1 (35:39):
The older you get, the more money you have to have?
Is that what we're going for?

Speaker 7 (35:42):
Is it a sliding scale?

Speaker 2 (35:43):
What do you mean? Like if he's a 50-year-old artist
who's going to be housed by you and living off of.

Speaker 1 (35:49):
What you make.

Speaker 5 (35:50):
It doesn't matter what age you are. That's not happening. Okay.

Speaker 2 (35:55):
The phones are lit up. We will find Kat's husband.
We're giving away Kat today. Coming up next.

Speaker 1 (36:05):
1015 KGB. Trending with TD.

Speaker 8 (36:08):
The largest bluefin tuna ever caught. Was caught off the
coast of San Diego earlier this week. A 500-pound bluefin tuna.
This thing is absolutely.

Speaker 2 (36:17):
Massive, but.

Speaker 1 (36:20):
It's not going to go in the.

Speaker 8 (36:20):
Record books because it was commercially caught, not sport fishing caught.

Speaker 2 (36:24):
So it's just this big old fish that they got.
This thing's massive, man.

Speaker 7 (36:28):
What's the difference?

Speaker 1 (36:29):
Like the Wicked Tuna guys who fish off of Gloucester in,
what is that, Maine, New England, somewhere like that? I
don't know. Are they commercial or are they sports? Because
they go into the record books.

Speaker 5 (36:38):
The difference is maybe the way that it's caught. Like
if it's commercial, maybe they caught it with a net,
like scraped the bottom of the ocean.

Speaker 1 (36:45):
Not with an actual pole.

Speaker 5 (36:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (36:47):
Yeah. I thought maybe they showed him a 30-second ad,
and then the fish went, ah, I'm going to jump
on that boat.

Speaker 1 (36:52):
There's the lap.

Speaker 2 (36:54):
What? Why would that be a lap? Because obviously it's
commercial like TV. Yeah, okay, TV.

Speaker 1 (37:00):
I'm sorry that I must be mistaken. He didn't know.

Speaker 7 (37:05):
I didn't know.

Speaker 2 (37:05):
I didn't know.

Speaker 8 (37:06):
Anyways, Apple revealed their first ever foldable phone yesterday. We
did mention this yesterday as well, that it was foldable.
rumored to come out. Well, their new head honcho, CEO
John Ternes. It was his first time up at one
of these events after taking over for Tim Cook, but
the iPhone Duo was released.

Speaker 1 (37:23):
It's a foldable phone. It sucks.

Speaker 8 (37:26):
It's $ 2, 000 for the lowest storage model.

Speaker 1 (37:30):
I think this thing looks so dumb. It's... It's better
than I thought.

Speaker 7 (37:34):
Really?

Speaker 1 (37:35):
So it's like the size of a passport, they're saying. Yeah,
it's a weird size. It seems too small and too
fat at the same time. Yeah, I agree. And then
when it folds out, it's like bigger than would be
comfortable to carry around.

Speaker 2 (37:46):
So I feel like you're not going to use the
fold out and you're just going to use it like
a normal phone. I feel like the people who will
use this phone are going to be the annoying people
who are loudly talking on their AirPods at all times. Yep.

Speaker 7 (37:58):
Because it would be an awkward shape to hold to
your head.

Speaker 2 (38:02):
Oh, yeah.

Speaker 5 (38:03):
You think they're going to only talk on it on speaker?

Speaker 2 (38:05):
Like, it's going to be those people who are sitting
in the waiting chairs outside the gate at the airport.

Speaker 1 (38:11):
Yeah, these are airport types.

Speaker 2 (38:13):
No, yeah.

Speaker 1 (38:13):
I just talked to Kyle about it.

Speaker 7 (38:15):
What's that?

Speaker 2 (38:21):
I have it on my second screen right now. I'm
going dual string on the foldable Apple phone, whatever the
hell it's called.

Speaker 8 (38:28):
Sorry, Rich, you did mention that on the foldable phone,
it'd be cool if you could have two different apps
open at the same time using them and you can
do that.

Speaker 7 (38:35):
See, that's what I was hoping for.

Speaker 2 (38:37):
Now that would be the only way I'd be interested
in this because there's so many times where like, for example,
you got Wednesday night football on last night, Thursday night
football on tonight. There are so many times where I'm
trying to like work on a separate app while watching
the game or listening to the game. You can't do
two things at once on your iPad or your iPhone.

(38:57):
But if that's a feature you can get on the
foldable phone, I bet there's more people like me who
would be interested in it. Not for $ 2, 000. Yeah, I mean,
it's pretty pricey.

Speaker 1 (39:06):
It does a lot, I guess. Yeah, but the phone
prices are never actually the phone prices. You get to
whatever your carrier is, and they'll say, oh, well, you
trade that in, let's knock.

Speaker 2 (39:13):
$ 1, 000 off, and then we'll only add $ 5 a month
to your plan.

Speaker 1 (39:15):
Well, so I was trying to look at that. If
I wanted to order it right.

Speaker 8 (39:18):
Now, it's $ 80 a month.

Speaker 1 (39:21):
That's pretty pricey.

Speaker 5 (39:21):
Wow, that is a lot. That's like your entire phone plan.

Speaker 1 (39:24):
I wish I had an $ 80 phone plan.

Speaker 2 (39:28):
Oh, man. Ria.

Speaker 8 (39:30):
We did break a record yesterday as the country as
a whole, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration announced that.

Speaker 1 (39:38):
This was the hottest summer on record. Wow, we did it.
Did you see the ocean temperatures are risen, too? And
so they're saying the Super El Nino is about to
be a super, super El Nino.

Speaker 2 (39:46):
Wow, let's go.

Speaker 1 (39:47):
Let's go.

Speaker 8 (39:48):
It was a balmy average of 74.4 degrees across the country.

Speaker 5 (39:53):
Oh, and we were 20 degrees plus hotter than that
here in San Diego.

Speaker 6 (39:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (39:58):
That's not how averages work, Kat.

Speaker 2 (40:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (40:02):
That's the average, but we were well above the average.
As of yesterday.

Speaker 5 (40:06):
Yes.

Speaker 8 (40:06):
I don't know what the average was yesterday across the country.
This is for June through August. The warmest in 132
years that they've been tracking this. Kat, you are nuts.

Speaker 1 (40:17):
What?

Speaker 2 (40:18):
Because even when you are paying attention, sometimes you say
crazy stuff, but when you're not fully paying attention, it's
even crazier. Oh, I love it so much. You know what?

Speaker 1 (40:28):
It's going to be hot.

Speaker 2 (40:29):
Yeah. at the Motley Crue concert.

Speaker 7 (40:31):
Chula Vista.

Speaker 2 (40:32):
That's the site where you're going to see Motley Crue
if you're lucky enough to win tickets right now. Now,
you could go to Ticketmaster.com, and I suggest you do
for more information and details. That's where I go for
all of my details. But if you want to win them,
call at 839, this number, 888-570-1015.

Speaker 7 (40:50):
Call or 10.

Speaker 2 (40:51):
You are walking with not only Motley Crue tickets, but
that's tickets to see Tesla and Xtreme as well. Start calling.

Speaker 7 (40:58):
8.39 a.m.

Speaker 2 (41:00):
Ernie tickets coming up later in the show.

Speaker 7 (41:03):
You thought we were done.

Speaker 2 (41:04):
We ain't done.

Speaker 7 (41:05):
We ain't never going to stop. We stand on business.

Speaker 2 (41:08):
Yeah, that's right. That's right. Journey, the final front tour
tier 2026, making a stop in San Diego at Pechanga.
That's going to be a September 14 show. And we
have a four pack of tickets. So keep listening here.
It's a this or that Thursday. Would you rather be
massively famous for being a pop star? Or a super

(41:29):
successful athlete. Pop star or super successful athlete?

Speaker 1 (41:34):
Pop star. Pop star.

Speaker 5 (41:35):
Yeah, you have probably a longer career as a pop
star than an athlete.

Speaker 1 (41:39):
I mean, look at you, Rich.

Speaker 2 (41:40):
I just want to be on the cover of Teen Beat.
Thank you, Kat.

Speaker 1 (41:43):
That was so mean.

Speaker 5 (41:44):
Well, I mean, it's short-lived when you have.

Speaker 1 (41:47):
To rely on your body.

Speaker 2 (41:48):
Rich is done.

Speaker 1 (41:49):
He's parlayed his successful NFL career. He was on TV
last night talking about football. It just keeps going. He's
on every weekend on national radio. But it's not like
that's a new career.

Speaker 5 (41:59):
He's a pop star now.

Speaker 2 (42:02):
More like a pup star with my... Dog. She, she
adores me. We were cuddling the other night. Unbelievable.

Speaker 1 (42:10):
I'd say like super successful basketball player would be where
you want to go. You could play until you're 40.
Your body doesn't get that banged up. Your head stays
safe for the most part. So that's kind of what
I'm talking about.

Speaker 2 (42:20):
Like now also, by the way, athlete can like, okay,
Livvy Dunn.

Speaker 7 (42:25):
Perfect example.

Speaker 2 (42:26):
She was an LSU gymnast turned social media influencer and
And even though she became massively famous for athletics and
posting about it on Instagram, she has parlayed that into
a career that has netted her.

Speaker 7 (42:41):
Millions and millions of dollars. She's on the new season
of Baywatch.

Speaker 2 (42:43):
There you go.

Speaker 1 (42:44):
She's like the lead of the Viore leggings campaign.

Speaker 2 (42:46):
I feel like pop stars work a lot longer and
a lot harder to stay famous. Whereas like athletes, it's
kind of like, all right. You did that stint. Now
you can sort of like... You can sell these isotoners. Yeah,
you can make bread off of it for the rest
of your life if you're famous enough.

Speaker 1 (43:03):
Get into coaching. Coaching is a lot of work, dude.
That is a lot of work. Probably more work than
being a player.

Speaker 2 (43:10):
I'm telling you right now in terms of how much
time you're committing to the craft of coaching.

Speaker 7 (43:17):
Now, don't get me wrong. Being a player is difficult.
You have to dial your body in.

Speaker 2 (43:20):
It's a huge sacrifice on the toll it takes, but Yeah, coaching,
I mean, time consumption-wise, that's tough.

Speaker 1 (43:28):
Or be a pop star. You don't worry about your
body being dialed in. Right? Well, I mean, Jelly Roll
is doing it.

Speaker 2 (43:35):
Post Malone was back.

Speaker 7 (43:37):
He doesn't have to worry about his body.

Speaker 2 (43:38):
Yeah, yeah. You know what?

Speaker 1 (43:40):
I like everything you're saying. And Post Malone drinks and smokes.

Speaker 2 (43:43):
The Notorious Big. I mean, they literally called him the
Notorious Big.

Speaker 7 (43:47):
Because he was so huge. Because he's big.

Speaker 1 (43:49):
Yeah, the B-I-G. Oh, don't correct me. Don't spell it
for me. I know how to say it. Yeah, but
meatloaf kind of proves your point.

Speaker 2 (43:57):
Oh, yeah. No, there's been a lot of fat pop stars,
and we can be the next.

Speaker 5 (44:02):
But notice how you're naming all men pop stars.

Speaker 1 (44:06):
You want to talk about Lizzo? Because it's rude to
talk about that. See what you had to do. This
is your fault.

Speaker 2 (44:14):
When Adele got famous, that was before the GLP ones.
When Adele first came out, I thought, oh my God,
I love her. She's an amazing singer and I really
would like her to watch my kids. And then she
lost a bunch of weight and I thought, like Adele anymore.
I liked her better when she was 22. I want
old Adele back. I don't like new Adele. She's probably
healthier and happier now.

Speaker 5 (44:35):
I would guess. Maybe not though.

Speaker 1 (44:36):
Or she's lost significant bone density because GLP-1's ruin you.

Speaker 5 (44:40):
We don't know that she's on a GLP-1, do we?

Speaker 2 (44:42):
Maybe she was. But when she was kind of an
overweight smoker, I was like, alright, that's my gal. And
now she kind of looks like a giveaway at a
Padres game. Like a bobblehead.

Speaker 5 (44:53):
Oh my gosh, Rich.

Speaker 1 (44:54):
What do you mean? Anyways, old Adele, if you're listening,
we would like you to call us.

Speaker 5 (45:01):
Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1 (45:03):
Hello from the other side. I see what you did there.

Speaker 2 (45:05):
Thank you.

Speaker 7 (45:06):
That's an Adele song, guys. It's Big Rich TD and Fletch.

Speaker 2 (45:08):
It's a this or that Thursday, plus journey tickets around
the corner.

Speaker 7 (45:12):
Keep it right here, 1015 KGB.

Speaker 2 (45:13):
It's Big Rich TD and Fletch, 1015 KGB. Okay, so
journey tickets coming up in just a little bit. Speaking
of journeys... Here's my question, and it's more geared towards Travis,
but anybody can weigh in. So you're going on an
11-hour car ride sometime at the start of the new

(45:34):
year to go to a wedding? Yeah, it's actually Easter weekend. Okay.

Speaker 1 (45:40):
I dialed it in.

Speaker 2 (45:41):
Okay, okay.

Speaker 1 (45:42):
And from what I've heard, Rich, the plan is to
drive there 11 hours, stay one night, drive back the
next morning.

Speaker 2 (45:48):
Whoa. That's insane. If.

Speaker 1 (45:51):
I'm forced to stay.

Speaker 5 (45:53):
You would rather drive 11 hours, go to the wedding,
and drive home 11 hours without staying the night?

Speaker 7 (45:58):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (45:59):
I've never done that turnaround. I have done about a
seven-hour turnaround. San Jose and back.

Speaker 5 (46:04):
Whose wedding is this?

Speaker 1 (46:05):
This would be my nephew. Sarah's sister's kid.

Speaker 5 (46:10):
Okay, so your nephew on your wife's side of the family.
And I'm sure your wife wants to spend a little
bit of time there. Do you not take that into consideration, T.D.

Speaker 1 (46:20):
I don't know if she does. Sarah and TD are
the same person. Sarah equally wants to spend as little
time with people as TD does. I think she's fine
with it. The only problem she would have with it
is sitting in the car that long, but we've been
getting acclimated. We're pretty close.

Speaker 2 (46:37):
Which brings us to the this or that question on
a this or that Thursday. 11-hour car ride or 11-hour flight?

Speaker 1 (46:46):
Oh, I would much rather... But think about it.

Speaker 7 (46:50):
Once you get to the 10 plus hour range, all
of a sudden.

Speaker 2 (46:53):
On a flight.

Speaker 1 (46:54):
All of a sudden.

Speaker 2 (46:55):
That's terrible.

Speaker 1 (46:55):
I just did it. I literally was just on an
11 hour plane ride. It was miserable, but well worth it.

Speaker 7 (47:01):
Wait, wait, wait. An 11 hour plane ride?

Speaker 1 (47:03):
Our plane ride from Europe back to Pennsylvania. We got
delayed two hours coming in. So we were just in
a holding pattern above the Pennsylvania airport. So what should
have been about nine hours ended up being 11.

Speaker 2 (47:14):
Wait, wait, wait.

Speaker 1 (47:15):
From London to Paris.

Speaker 7 (47:18):
From France to.

Speaker 2 (47:20):
There's no way you were on the plane for 11 hours.

Speaker 1 (47:22):
We were on the plane for 11 hours. I might
be including some of the time we were stuck on
the tarmac because we were also stuck on the tarmac
for about an hour. But you were on the plane.
We were on the plane for a total of 11 hours.
But the holding pattern was at least an hour and
a half.

Speaker 7 (47:34):
Because I'm pretty sure it's like an eight-hour flight from
France to Pennsylvania.

Speaker 1 (47:37):
This was a disaster.

Speaker 2 (47:38):
Well.
The reality is I think I still would rather be
on a plane because then you're not driving.

Speaker 1 (47:49):
Driving isn't bad.

Speaker 5 (47:50):
And with UTD there, I think that a road trip
is super fun. And I think it's the 11-hour ride.
window that starts to get a little hazy because yeah,
after 10 hours, the flight feels really long.

Speaker 7 (48:04):
Are you in first class or are you in coach?

Speaker 1 (48:05):
Big difference. I only fly coach.

Speaker 2 (48:08):
Oh yeah. Yeah.

Speaker 7 (48:08):
Me too.

Speaker 2 (48:09):
I very rarely have been in first class or even
business class.

Speaker 7 (48:13):
But even still, like, I don't know. In your car,
you're in first class.

Speaker 1 (48:19):
No.

Speaker 2 (48:19):
It's a big enough car.

Speaker 5 (48:20):
It's fun on a road trip. It's fun because you
can stop and get a fun.

Speaker 2 (48:24):
Snack at a store.

Speaker 1 (48:26):
11 hours, you have one stop.

Speaker 5 (48:27):
You can blast your music.

Speaker 2 (48:29):
11 hours.

Speaker 7 (48:30):
I mean, with my kids, we'll take a 20-minute drive
sometimes and stop three times.

Speaker 2 (48:35):
Unbelievable.

Speaker 1 (48:36):
I would say I could go six hours and I
need gas.

Speaker 2 (48:40):
Right, right, right, right.

Speaker 1 (48:41):
So that's when you get out, you get something to eat,
you pee, you're back in the car, bang, you go.

Speaker 5 (48:45):
I love to stop as many times as possible on
a road trip. It's so fun to just like stop off,
see something new, go to a different store, get a
little bite to eat.

Speaker 2 (48:53):
I would not want to be on a road trip
with TD or Katniss. all of that sounds terrible being.

Speaker 6 (48:58):
Rich the boys like well just like or like just
take a normal road trip where like you get gas
every three hours or so you stop you know you
you stretch your legs if there's not a good place
to stop.

Speaker 2 (49:11):
Slim jim you piss on the side of the road
i mean you find a spot where you can. I mean,
I get that. I get that.

Speaker 1 (49:19):
But if you don't have to stop. Six hours?

Speaker 5 (49:22):
And if you don't have to pee on the side
of the road.

Speaker 7 (49:24):
I'd throw myself out of the car.

Speaker 2 (49:25):
So we're back.

Speaker 7 (49:27):
It's Big Rich TDM Fletch on a this or that show.

Speaker 2 (49:30):
Thursday, as described, we ask a question amongst each other
and to all of you that you must answer. I mean,
it's a requirement. If you're going to be a listener
to this program, your participation is required.

Speaker 7 (49:43):
So, 888-570-1015.

Speaker 2 (49:45):
We go now to Sheila from East County, who we're
asking a very, very cutting, important intelligence, some would say,
question about Popcorn or candy when you go to the movies,
what do you say, Sheila? Am I allowed to say both?

Speaker 5 (50:02):
I put my Sour Patch Kids on the popcorn. Let's go.

Speaker 6 (50:05):
That sounds delightful, but this is a this or that.

Speaker 2 (50:08):
It's one or the other.

Speaker 5 (50:09):
Sour with the salty?

Speaker 1 (50:11):
Definitely candy.

Speaker 7 (50:12):
There we go.

Speaker 5 (50:13):
Definitely candy.

Speaker 2 (50:14):
Okay. Leftover popcorn, stale, no thanks. Okay, all right.

Speaker 5 (50:18):
Yeah, and the candy does last forever. It's all those preservatives.

Speaker 1 (50:21):
I don't think it does, actually, Kat.

Speaker 2 (50:23):
I've had instances where I was really disappointed with the candy,
and it really, I guess it could have been user
error because I left those.

Speaker 7 (50:31):
M & Ms in my pocket for a long time.

Speaker 1 (50:33):
They will melt in your hand if you hold them
long enough.

Speaker 2 (50:36):
Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1 (50:37):
Milk duds, I've also had a bad batch where they're really,
really hard. Really hard milk duds are treacherous.

Speaker 2 (50:44):
But overall, I would say that candy lets you down
less often than popcorn. I don't want to say a
lazy concession worker because that's really painting with a broad brush.

Speaker 7 (50:56):
I mean, these people are busy. They're hardworking folk.

Speaker 2 (50:58):
But when you have somebody who doesn't change out the
popcorn or it's not a busy enough day at the
movie theaters where you get a stale batch, as Sheila
put it perfectly.

Speaker 7 (51:08):
That's not good.

Speaker 8 (51:09):
Now, Sheila, do you always go Sour Patch Kids? Is
that your number one? If you're not mixing with popcorn,
would you still stick with those?

Speaker 7 (51:16):
I mean, if they're out, I'm going with either the
Reese's Pieces or the Junior Mints.

Speaker 1 (51:23):
Ooh, I like the Junior Mints a lot. I like
all of your picks.

Speaker 8 (51:25):
I like the Junior Mints a lot, a lot, especially
the ones that are soft on the inside.

Speaker 7 (51:29):
It's so crazy. She could have literally said any candy,
and I would have been like, ooh. Sheila, thank you
so much.

Speaker 2 (51:38):
So candy is Sheila's selection in the great debate of
candy or popcorn at the movie theater.

Speaker 7 (51:44):
What say you?

Speaker 2 (51:45):
888-570-1015 on a this or that Thursday.

Speaker 7 (51:50):
It's Big Rich TD and Fletch.

Speaker 6 (51:51):
There's a lot happening in San Diego this weekend, but TD,
the self-proclaimed homebody king, now has the ultimate decision to make.

Speaker 2 (51:59):
Play or stay.

Speaker 5 (52:01):
Brought to you by Valley View Casino and Hotel.

Speaker 1 (52:04):
That's right.

Speaker 2 (52:05):
We do it every single week where TD walks us
through some San Diego weekend events and he decides whether
he wants to play along and go to any of
these events that he mentions or stay at Valley View
Casino and Hotel. Now, so far, there's been over 100
different events named. TD has elected to stay at Valley

(52:26):
View for all of them. So maybe this is finally
the week where there's an event that trumps a stay
at Valley View. There's some big, big things happening. Big,
big things like the Alley Cat Art Fest happening Saturday
in downtown El Cajon, where it's going to get colorful
with the inaugural Alley Cat Art Fest. The event combines

(52:48):
last year's first ever Artival with the longtime favorite Alley
Cat Art Walk. It's happening from 10 to 6 where
you can stroll through the Prescott.

Speaker 8 (52:56):
Is it Prescott or Prescott?

Speaker 3 (53:00):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (53:01):
Well, it's Prescott, Arizona. Yeah, but they say Prescott. They
say Prescott over there?

Speaker 1 (53:06):
I'm pretty sure.

Speaker 2 (53:07):
Pretty sure.

Speaker 1 (53:08):
Is it spelled like the quarterback?

Speaker 2 (53:10):
Yeah. Prescott. Okay.

Speaker 1 (53:11):
Promenade.

Speaker 2 (53:12):
Main Street and Arts Alley.

Speaker 8 (53:13):
You can check out more than 50 artists and paintings
and music and food and drinks and all the things.

Speaker 2 (53:18):
I'm going to stay on this one, guys.

Speaker 1 (53:19):
You like that type of thing, TV.

Speaker 2 (53:21):
I'm allergic.

Speaker 8 (53:22):
I'm allergic to kombucha. And you know it's going to
be there. You know it's going to be there. Somebody's
going to try to hand you one.

Speaker 2 (53:26):
In droves, yeah.

Speaker 7 (53:27):
A lot of septum piercings.

Speaker 2 (53:29):
Yeah, a lot of that.

Speaker 1 (53:30):
Hey, there's nothing wrong with a kombucha. There's nothing wrong
with a septum piercing, even if it's fake.

Speaker 2 (53:35):
Well, you walked in the other day, Kat, and you
tried to sneak one past the goalie, so to speak,
where you just didn't tell anybody.

Speaker 7 (53:45):
That you were going to do it. And then we
all noticed.

Speaker 2 (53:48):
Well, actually, I should say you guys noticed before I did,
but I saw that septum piercing and it threw me.
It did.

Speaker 1 (53:54):
I lost it. I don't know where it went. Ah, shoot.

Speaker 2 (53:58):
Also happening, the second Sunday market at the Seahive Station.

Speaker 8 (54:02):
This is happening Saturday. The Seahive Station is in Liberty Station.
A monthly outdoor market where you can browse local vendors
selling handmade goods, vintage treasures, and creative gifts. The perfect
for supporting local makers and getting a head start on
holiday shopping.

Speaker 5 (54:18):
That's a really cool market.

Speaker 2 (54:20):
Yeah, I'm going to.

Speaker 8 (54:20):
Pass on this one. Well, it's called the Second Sunday Market.
Why is it on a Saturday? Can't be trusted.

Speaker 2 (54:26):
That's good. A lot of people call Saturday Second Sunday, though. Oh,
they do? Is that a thing? No.

Speaker 3 (54:33):
Okay, good.

Speaker 1 (54:34):
Wait, is that really a thing? First Sunday.

Speaker 7 (54:35):
I really am puzzled. Why would it be the.

Speaker 5 (54:37):
Well, maybe there's something... I feel like it normally is
on a Sunday, so maybe there's something else going on
this Sunday.

Speaker 7 (54:42):
First Sunday also sounds like a religious event.

Speaker 1 (54:44):
It does.

Speaker 2 (54:45):
It really does.

Speaker 1 (54:46):
Well, my church is at Liberty Station, so... Oh, that's right.
You're right near there.

Speaker 7 (54:49):
You've been to this.

Speaker 1 (54:51):
I have gone to this market. Yeah, it's fun.

Speaker 2 (54:53):
Also happening, Wild and Wonder, a live magic show happening.

Speaker 1 (54:57):
It's called the Second Sunday Market because it takes place
on the second Sunday of every month. Well, this is Saturday.
He's saying it's going to be on Saturday.

Speaker 2 (55:04):
Unless the thing I looked at was the wrong day.
It says the 12th. Or maybe they counted wrong. Maybe
they were like, oh, we'll do it on the 13th.
And we're like, oh, that's Saturday. We're like, too late.
Flyers printed.

Speaker 6 (55:16):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (55:17):
That is true.

Speaker 7 (55:18):
That is true.

Speaker 8 (55:18):
Wild and Wonder, a live magic show, also happening Saturday
at the California Wild Ales in the Midway District. Mind-blowing
illusions and revelations by local magicians Miguel Garcia.

Speaker 2 (55:30):
And Anjo Sanchez.

Speaker 8 (55:33):
Hosted inside a local craft brewery, and this all kicks
off at 3 p.m.

Speaker 5 (55:36):
3 p.m.? No.

Speaker 1 (55:38):
What's wrong with 3 p.m.? I'll.

Speaker 2 (55:39):
See right through this one. A magic show at 3 p.m.?
This is a child's birthday party. You're just trying to
pull one over on me. No thanks. Stay.

Speaker 1 (55:45):
I'll see you at Valley View Casino and Hotel.

Speaker 7 (55:48):
Magic does feel like something that has to happen after sunset.

Speaker 1 (55:51):
That's right.

Speaker 4 (55:51):
There's beers.

Speaker 1 (55:54):
There's still beers at kids' parties. I mean, this is
a child's birthday party.

Speaker 2 (55:58):
Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 7 (55:59):
I have no doubt. You ever see a magician in daylight?
It always weirds me out.

Speaker 1 (56:03):
What?

Speaker 2 (56:04):
Like when David Blaine used to do the man on
the street stuff, like when he walked up to people
with the deck of cards and was like, Do you
want to see some magic?

Speaker 7 (56:11):
I'd be like, please. I'm like four hours from my
first coffee.

Speaker 2 (56:15):
Leave me alone.

Speaker 7 (56:16):
Step aside, David Blaine. Yeah, not today.

Speaker 2 (56:19):
I got to make it to the Alley Cat El
Cajon Art Expo.

Speaker 1 (56:23):
Right, right. Happening the second Sunday this Saturday. Well, there
it is, folks.

Speaker 7 (56:29):
That's what's happening this weekend in San Diego.

Speaker 1 (56:31):
See you at Valley View Casino and Hotel.

Speaker 2 (56:33):
You're welcome.

Speaker 5 (56:34):
It's just the tip with Big Rich.

Speaker 2 (56:37):
Ah, yes. A little advice. I like to slide out
your way. It's yours for the taking if you want it.
If not, push it back this way. No harm, no foul.

Speaker 7 (56:44):
Today's tip.

Speaker 2 (56:46):
Is a pretty simple tip, and it's one from your past,
and it's coming to revisit you now.

Speaker 7 (56:51):
Go ahead and start collecting cans and bottles. Do you
have any idea how much money you're.

Speaker 2 (56:55):
Going to make?

Speaker 1 (56:56):
Quite a bit.

Speaker 5 (56:57):
Five cents a can.

Speaker 2 (56:58):
You don't get that back.

Speaker 7 (57:00):
They accept crushed cans.

Speaker 2 (57:01):
Yeah, they do. They do.

Speaker 7 (57:03):
I had no idea.

Speaker 8 (57:04):
It would be great if you could get a nickel back,
but good luck finding the place to give you the
nickel back.

Speaker 7 (57:08):
See, that's tricky.

Speaker 1 (57:09):
Not the ban.

Speaker 2 (57:10):
Canada? Well, that would actually be equally cool if they're like,
If you hand it in of just a bag full
of cans or.

Speaker 1 (57:18):
Like, look at that. I'd go around and collect it.

Speaker 2 (57:24):
Give me that nickel back, man.

Speaker 8 (57:26):
We had our kids save cans and bottles to help
pay for some of their activities.

Speaker 7 (57:31):
Baseball.

Speaker 2 (57:32):
That's what we're doing.

Speaker 8 (57:33):
Your garage will fill up with bags and bags and
bags of cans and bottles.

Speaker 2 (57:37):
Then we go turn them in. Looking at a cool 17,
18 bucks. I've got a bag of cans and bottles
in my car right now.

Speaker 7 (57:44):
And man, I'm looking for a dump site.

Speaker 2 (57:49):
Well, we'll have more Motley Crue tickets tomorrow and potentially
more journey tickets as well.

Speaker 7 (57:55):
That sounds nice. So even though it's their final frontier tour,
it's not ours.

Speaker 1 (58:01):
Do they call it the final front tour?

Speaker 7 (58:03):
No, they missed an opportunity there. I agree with you.

Speaker 2 (58:06):
It should have been the final Front Tour, but it's
the final Frontier Tour 2026.

Speaker 7 (58:10):
Now, does this mean that they're done for good?

Speaker 1 (58:14):
I hope not.

Speaker 2 (58:16):
Elton John was done like seven times. See Elton John
for details. We saw the retirement tour. It was nine
months later. He played again at Petco Park. Journey's doing
it right.

Speaker 1 (58:27):
Smart play, Journey.

Speaker 4 (58:51):
Bye, Mom.

Speaker 1 (58:52):
Bye. See you later.

Speaker 2 (58:53):
I'll pick you up at a quarter to three.

Speaker 6 (58:55):
Okay, bye.

Speaker 1 (58:57):
I guess I'm open-minded as hell.

Speaker 2 (59:01):
I think you're.

Speaker 5 (59:02):
Pretty good looking.

Speaker 2 (59:03):
Thank you.
