Speaker 1 (00:20):
On one oh one five KG on Wednesdays, we were picking.
Speaker 3 (00:27):
Happy Wednesday to those who celebrate. It's Big Rich TDM fletch.
That's the way we open our show. Now, Kat, what
was that?
Speaker 2 (00:34):
Well, that was specific to a Wednesday. Uh, of course
it was. TD makes a new one every day. Did
you make that tea?
Speaker 1 (00:41):
I did?
Speaker 4 (00:42):
Actually, that one got sent to me at ten thirty
five last night.
Speaker 2 (00:45):
He Wow, you were up late working TV.
Speaker 1 (00:47):
In the midnight. Oh got here? He works so hard.
Speaker 3 (00:51):
Right after his finish naring his legs, he sits down
with an AI music generator right, thank you Google. Yeah,
I just have to affiliate and after I'm done, I've
got to artificial intellect.
Speaker 1 (01:08):
This dang song. It only takes about seventeen tries to
make it sound like it's somewhat coherence.
Speaker 5 (01:15):
It is.
Speaker 3 (01:16):
It is really impressive because if you ever listen to
him workshop this, there's times where.
Speaker 1 (01:21):
He's like, no, non in gosh, it's in Mandarin.
Speaker 4 (01:26):
How about what he has to do one one point
five over and over again so it doesn't say one
hundred and one and fight.
Speaker 1 (01:32):
I literally have to write that out. I have to write, yeah,
one oh one. It's pretty close to being perfect. Guys,
we're really glad you do it. Wow. Yeah, I'm sure
the masses are.
Speaker 3 (01:46):
This is uh, this is my favorite show to do.
I've always said that it's the only show I do.
Your favorite Cat's Back And it was lovely yesterday to
welcome you in studio.
Speaker 2 (02:00):
We had quite the time we did, now TD.
Speaker 5 (02:05):
You welcomed me in with many bowls of beans, and
then you said that you had booked a surprise guest.
That's correct, who I would be so excited, so elated.
Who would be the number one guess that you could get.
I said, well, there's no way you got Drake.
Speaker 2 (02:19):
You said that on seven. Yes, everyone knows he's my
favorite writ yes, yes.
Speaker 5 (02:25):
Then you know I started getting nervous because you guys
were like, well, maybe are.
Speaker 2 (02:30):
You camera ready?
Speaker 3 (02:31):
We just said, always said, We never even said maybe.
We just said, hey, listen, we can't tell you who
is coming in studio.
Speaker 1 (02:38):
But one thing we know about you is you like
to doll yourself up a little bit before you take pictures.
Speaker 3 (02:44):
Since they were like, I don't know, maybe maybe step
in the bathroom freshen up.
Speaker 5 (02:49):
So TD goes outside to get our guests, and as
they're walking through the door, I was too nervous to
even turn around.
Speaker 1 (02:54):
I saw that Rich. Also there was fifty people in here.
I couldn't even open this.
Speaker 5 (02:58):
Our whole sales team came at the same time. So
Rich says, welcome to the studio. Drake, yeah, and I'm like,
there's no way.
Speaker 2 (03:07):
As I turn, he says Bell.
Speaker 5 (03:14):
A man in sunglasses, a man, just a man, a
suit made of heart.
Speaker 1 (03:23):
Beautiful And it was truly Drake.
Speaker 2 (03:25):
Bell from Drake and Josh on Nickelodeon.
Speaker 4 (03:27):
He might as well have been Drake for some of
the younger Oh.
Speaker 1 (03:30):
My gosh, crazy.
Speaker 3 (03:31):
We had a younger saleswoman who was fanning herself and
almost fainted when he walked in.
Speaker 2 (03:38):
We have a producer on a different.
Speaker 3 (03:41):
Radio station, who's this tall, lankier fella who I honestly,
I honestly think like at one point he was like hyperventilating.
Speaker 1 (03:51):
He goes he was was that Drake Bell and we're
like Drake Bell.
Speaker 3 (03:57):
And he was like, I mean I saw him in
person and he was like, it was a little it was.
Speaker 2 (04:04):
It actually kind of shook me to the core.
Speaker 3 (04:06):
Look, we were trying and TD mainly was bloodhounding Drake
the musical artist, the rapper. The we found a different
Drake from Nickelodeon who.
Speaker 2 (04:19):
Went to music.
Speaker 4 (04:20):
Wait, what was the one response you actually got from
Drake's camp?
Speaker 1 (04:24):
Not interested? They replied, not interested. I mean after weeks,
I'd have to look at it.
Speaker 4 (04:35):
TV tried their legal team, his PR team, his assistance.
Speaker 2 (04:40):
Like, there was twelve people email.
Speaker 1 (04:42):
I mean I was I was just going through the list.
It was crazy.
Speaker 3 (04:46):
Yeah, the amount of effort he put in to get
the real Drake was was immense. Now the Drake we
brought in that was pretty good. Yeah, I mean it
was Drake. It was Drake.
Speaker 4 (04:59):
We played his the first time anyone's heard it was
on this station. It was a worldwide premiere.
Speaker 3 (05:05):
So I want to get back to this a little
bit because I don't think we fully encapsulated the amount
of shock in this room. So so Drake Bell walking
through the door, we knew you wanted it to be Drake,
and that's the reason why we got Drake.
Speaker 2 (05:25):
But we just got a different Drake Cat.
Speaker 3 (05:27):
So when when I said Drake and paused for effect
and waited for you to turn around and said bell
and you saw a different.
Speaker 1 (05:36):
Drake walking through the door on your.
Speaker 3 (05:38):
First day back at work, what was the first thought
that flashed through your mind?
Speaker 5 (05:44):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (05:44):
Of course.
Speaker 2 (05:47):
It only made sense. It makes sense.
Speaker 1 (05:50):
But when when you're with but when Rich said Drake,
was there a moment that you thought I'm going to
turn around and actually see Drake.
Speaker 5 (06:01):
Yes, because I was like but also I was like,
there's no way, there's not a chance.
Speaker 2 (06:05):
Well that the real rapper Drake is here.
Speaker 1 (06:09):
Absolute We've got another huge surprise. You just couldn't make
it on We've Got Drake.
Speaker 2 (06:16):
It is a male.
Speaker 5 (06:18):
Ju But you know, I never watched I think it
was out of the age demographic for his show Drake
and Josh on Nickelodeon, So I've never seen a single.
Speaker 2 (06:29):
The demographic for everything.
Speaker 5 (06:30):
But I did want him to feel very welcomed and
feel that we were excited for him to be in
the studio because we were. That was awesome for him
to come up from Mexico, so yeah, I definitely.
Speaker 1 (06:42):
I did not say to my kids that this was happening,
and then they saw the photos after we posted it,
and my youngest went, Drake Bell, that's fire.
Speaker 2 (06:56):
That's the biggest case you've ever had.
Speaker 1 (06:58):
That's the biggest I was like, wait, what, Yeah, I
mean Kevin kneeling nah, Drake Bell. Yeah, yeah, No, It's.
Speaker 3 (07:06):
It's very very fun to see the different level of reactions,
but the funnest of all was seeing Cat's reactions.
Speaker 1 (07:12):
There's no question about it.
Speaker 6 (07:15):
Nice.
Speaker 2 (07:15):
How was your first day back? I really enjoyed being
back here.
Speaker 5 (07:20):
I didn't get a lot of work done because there
was a lot of catching up with people, which was
just chatting in the halls.
Speaker 2 (07:25):
And in my office.
Speaker 5 (07:26):
Yeah, but yeah, it was great to be back, and
it's great to be back on the show with you
guys and feel some sense of normalcy and have my
alarm wake me up in the wee hours of the morning.
Speaker 1 (07:36):
We all feel the same way. I also feel that
we were a little cheated because I was promised there
would be a cake here upon your return.
Speaker 3 (07:43):
Yeah, we were gonna take care of the cake, and
then Noreen was like big Boston Dorena our market president said,
and we're gonna have cake, and we're gonna have plates,
and we're gonna have flowers and we're gonna have that
party had Yeah.
Speaker 2 (07:55):
She told that, she said, we.
Speaker 1 (07:57):
Have a cake.
Speaker 3 (07:57):
We am seeing the Brothers Big Susuers poker.
Speaker 1 (08:01):
Tournament the Casino Royality.
Speaker 3 (08:03):
Yeah, and so at that thing, she was, well like,
when cat comes back, we're gonna get kicked.
Speaker 2 (08:07):
She's like, no, I've got the cake. So we didn't
get the cake.
Speaker 1 (08:13):
We're gonna kick in her door and we're going to
force her to buy his cake.
Speaker 2 (08:16):
To absolutely that's a big part of the death.
Speaker 5 (08:18):
All right.
Speaker 3 (08:19):
We got to run, uh, because it's been so long
since all four of us have sat in awe and
wonderment at this time of the morning for the flat zone.
Speaker 2 (08:29):
And it's next. Ladies and gentlemen, try not to panic.
It's time to turn our brains completely off and witness.
Speaker 1 (08:36):
A man who once argued with a microwave and lost.
Speaker 3 (08:39):
Prepare to enter a magical realm where logic goes to
die and Fletch rules with a crown made of tinfoil
and bad ideas. We have absolutely no idea what he's
about to say, and honestly, neither does he unbuckle your
seatbelts and abandon all hope.
Speaker 1 (08:58):
This is.
Speaker 2 (09:02):
We're fletch Talk Sports.
Speaker 4 (09:03):
See Minnesota Vikings have named their starting quarterback. And it's
not JJ McCarthy, who they drafted two years ago to
be the face of their franchise. No, no, it is
Kyler Murray, who was with the Arizona Cardinals for the
first seven years of his career in the NFL. Kevin
O'Connell telling the media yesterday that Kyler has earned the
number one starting job.
Speaker 2 (09:22):
For QB for the Minnesota Vikings.
Speaker 3 (09:24):
Of course, you don't sign the guy when you have
a drafted quarterback who's a first round talent if you're
unsure that you're going to start him. Kyler Murray was
the starting quarterback from the moment he signed as a
free agent. Now, the good news is the last time
they traded for him.
Speaker 4 (09:41):
The last time the Vikings did this, it was a
guy by the name of Sam Darnold, and he started
for a year with the Vikings and then they let
him go and he went won a Super Bowl at
the Seattle Seahawks.
Speaker 2 (09:49):
Will they learn their lesson this time? Call of duty in.
Speaker 1 (09:52):
Modern Warfare four releases globally October twenty third, twenty twenty six. Yeah,
they're done, They're totally well. Then that's when he switched
to JJ McCarthy.
Speaker 4 (10:00):
For those of you who don't know, Kyler is a
big time Call of Duty gamer, Oh really, big time,
big time. In fact, there's graphs that nerds have put
together of his production in games around a new Call
of Duty drop and it goes down.
Speaker 2 (10:11):
Because it's so crazy.
Speaker 1 (10:13):
It's an addiction.
Speaker 3 (10:14):
What's wild about this is he was playing so many
video games at home at night that when he was
a younger quarterback with the Cardinals, when they were restructuring
his contract, they built into it a clause that said
you have to study your film for a certain number
of hours per week, and.
Speaker 4 (10:32):
They limited the amount of time he could be on
video games. I don't think that's true. I think it
was just a film study clause. I thought there was
something about video games in it. I could be wrong,
And then it was taken out because the public. The
public found out and the backlash was real, and so
he ended.
Speaker 2 (10:47):
Up give me backlash for that.
Speaker 5 (10:48):
Well, I think requiring YOURQB to study, well, you.
Speaker 2 (10:52):
Just get made fun of Yeah, the Cardinals because they're
a laughing stock.
Speaker 1 (10:55):
Of an organization. Oh you played for them, didn't you really?
Speaker 3 (10:57):
Yet?
Speaker 1 (10:58):
Yeah? How about this?
Speaker 4 (10:59):
The NBA has released their schedule for next year, and
Lebron James and the seventy six ers are going to
be taken on the raining champs, the New York Knicks
on Opening Night, and then on Christmas Day, Lebron James
and the seventy six ers will take on the Los
Angeles Lakers. Very funny by the NBA putting some juicy
matchups on the two biggest days.
Speaker 2 (11:17):
Now, I have a question for the group here.
Speaker 4 (11:20):
Does Lebron James and the seventy six Ers playing against
his former team, the Lakers, draw you away from any
of the NFL action.
Speaker 2 (11:26):
On Christmas Day?
Speaker 1 (11:28):
No? No, me, neither, no not even.
Speaker 4 (11:32):
Why does the NBA not start their season immediately after
football's over?
Speaker 1 (11:36):
Don't know.
Speaker 3 (11:37):
Well, So the deal is the NBA own Christmas Day
for a very long time. So for people who are unaware,
Christmas Day sort of felt like the unofficial start of
the professional basketball season. But the NFL about five years
ago said hold my beer, and they started scheduling games
on Christmas and it has gone gangbusters. They're rating have
(12:00):
toppled the NBA's ratings by leaps and bounds. Now, the
NBA still rates on Christmas Day because it's live programming
and people prefer to watch live programming almost over any
other format, especially when it comes to sports. But still
the NFL is starting to horn in on everyone.
Speaker 1 (12:16):
Well, football does a great job of making every game matter.
Speaker 2 (12:19):
Yeah, especially that top of the year.
Speaker 4 (12:20):
This year, NFL Christmas Day games are Packers that Bears,
Bills at Broncos, Rams at Seahawks.
Speaker 2 (12:26):
So awesome divisional matchups.
Speaker 4 (12:28):
You got huge Super Bowl contenders and the Bills and
the Broncos. This will be very, very fun. Finally, the
future of NFL analysts. The color analyst at CBS, Tony Romo,
remains in flux. He may be out as the lead
color analyst guy on CBS Network after last month his
operation under.
Speaker 2 (12:45):
A vehicle under the influence.
Speaker 4 (12:47):
We all saw the mug shot that's come out, and
we all can imagine all the T shirts that'll have
said mugshot on it. But the head of CBS said
yesterday it's an evolving situation. We're still assessing. There's no
timetable or a final decision at this time. Could Jim
Nancy looking for a new play by play partner this
year he's gone and Tony's gone.
Speaker 2 (13:06):
Yeah, I would agree, Yeah, he's no way.
Speaker 1 (13:08):
CBS says, all right, you've done enough good.
Speaker 3 (13:10):
Ones well and also, like, I mean already, JJ Watt
is like hosting about this, and there's a lot of
support over the change, because even though Tony Romo is talented,
there's a lot of people who do not like his
call of games and they're promoting within So CBS promotes
JJ Watt. Another guy named Ross Tucker is gonna come
(13:31):
up right behind him. So get ready for Romo to
be jobless this upcoming NFL season.
Speaker 1 (13:36):
Kind of sad. It's just a tip with Big Ret.
Speaker 3 (13:40):
Yes, just a little advice. I like to slide out
your way. It's yours for the take and if you
want it, if not, shove it back this way, no harm,
no foul. It's just a tip with Big rich In.
Today's advice is about beans, okay, listening? Yeah, interesting, Okay,
So we had a pull lethra of leftover beans in
(14:04):
this in this studio, and we didn't really know what
to do with all the beans.
Speaker 1 (14:10):
Well, I knew what to do with the beans.
Speaker 2 (14:12):
Would you do or would you think we should do?
Speaker 1 (14:14):
Throw them away? What's now, dude? What was I supposed
to do with the beans?
Speaker 3 (14:18):
You're supposed to make a variety of recipes with those beans.
Speaker 1 (14:21):
What are we going to make with the beans?
Speaker 2 (14:23):
Anything?
Speaker 1 (14:25):
No, no, no, no, no, no, no no. I don't believe
that at all. I being you can make a bean
dip more than you eat a bean just by itself,
maybe chilling taco salad. Don't need a bean with a
black beans? No thing, no dude, Yes, yes, you need beans.
You need all those beans. Ground Beef's fine, ground beef
and cheese. No, no, no, don't hardly need a shell
(14:46):
put in a bowl.
Speaker 4 (14:47):
It's not the tail with Travis Dale. I'm just the
tip of big ring you gotta make. So, So, what
what I.
Speaker 3 (14:53):
Did with the leftover beans, because there were trays and
trays and platters and platters, is made a soup?
Speaker 2 (14:59):
Did you take them? I took them all home.
Speaker 3 (15:01):
So when you have a variety of beans to that level,
you and by the way, we had seven different varietals
of beans. If you mix them all together in a
pot and you throw in a bunch of stock and
a couple other vegetables. I threw some tomato slices. Oh,
tomato slices. Oh my gosh, you've.
Speaker 1 (15:19):
Got a delicious bean stock. Like you made a whole
vat of something else you gotta throw away.
Speaker 2 (15:24):
I would sell eat a bean soup.
Speaker 1 (15:25):
Yeah, with a tomato slice. WHOA, hang on, you know
what else I put it? So?
Speaker 3 (15:30):
The stock I used was a hamstock from around the
holiday season.
Speaker 1 (15:36):
And then even though they made hamstock from the holiday season,
you've been holding on to a hamstock.
Speaker 2 (15:42):
Yeah, I freeze it. So this is what Okay, let
me start from the start.
Speaker 3 (15:46):
You want a hamstock, you got to take the ham
bone that's left over after a spiral sliced ham and
you boil it in water for a long time. Okay, okay,
And then you sit in on simmer and you let
that go for a long time. You get all the
juices out of the ham like that, you jump it
(16:06):
into a ziploc bag once and cools. You throw it
in the freezer and you use it whenever you have
a plethora of beans.
Speaker 1 (16:11):
What soup have you ever had besides the one you
were making that had a slice of tomato floating around.
Speaker 3 (16:16):
I mean, I just drew on the tomatoes before I
knew I had all that hamstock.
Speaker 4 (16:20):
You around tomato soup with a slice of tomato, and
sometimes it's a little chunky.
Speaker 1 (16:26):
Yeah, yeah, right, I don't eat just the tip of
big rich What to do with all your spare beans? Perfect?
I get it.
Speaker 3 (16:32):
Branding and advertising is super duper important. But when you
are branding a superhero movie and you decide to incur
the fines that come along with it, man, those can
be some super fine. So apparently the city of San
Diego per day that Marvel covered up the gas Lamp
(16:53):
Quarters sign that is downtown in the historic gas Lamp district,
they find them I think in ex of twenty thousand
dollars per day, and the found finds amounted to over
one hundred thousand dollars during the span of Comic Con
and before and afterward that it was.
Speaker 2 (17:09):
It was covered up for goodness gracious.
Speaker 3 (17:15):
So if you're a Marvel movie, why not this is
my solution to this problem. It's a superhero movie. Why
not just pay people to dress up like superheroes. I
don't think you need to pay them. They're all down
on the gas.
Speaker 1 (17:28):
Lamb anyway, anybody else have any ideas?
Speaker 4 (17:32):
I mean, did have an idea, like why not put
an arch over the arch?
Speaker 1 (17:35):
You know what I mean?
Speaker 2 (17:36):
Like put a higher one? Oh, build another r You have.
Speaker 4 (17:39):
The gas lamp arch that's already there, right, Why didn't
Marvel Doomsday just make it one higher like by sixte
They probably get fined for that too.
Speaker 3 (17:47):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (17:47):
Yet on the sidewalk there's probably like laws again.
Speaker 1 (17:51):
Plus plus it's the it's the whole takeover of downtown
San Diego. The amount of exposure they get from people
posting photos in videos a lot. It's I mean it's
it's well over one hundred and sixty thousand dollars worth.
Speaker 3 (18:04):
Now, there's a lot of people who don't have a
problem with this, right they hear the news and they say,
why do we care if they're wrapping buildings, it kind
of looks cool.
Speaker 1 (18:12):
It's only for a week.
Speaker 3 (18:14):
Here's the thing though, And I'm not a big, like
not in my backyard type of guy, because usually things
don't bother me too much, But like, I could see
myself being really bothered if I'm paying huge dollars for
one of the high rises downtown in San Diego, and
I've got this beautiful view of the water and I'm
looking through wolverines, you know, through his butt cheeks right
(18:37):
to see the bay. Yeah, no, that would bother me.
Speaker 1 (18:39):
I could. I could see that irritating me. I all
of this. Oh, we're gonna find Marvel, We're gonna find
whoever because we they're put up signs. The city loves
it to find them. Oh they want this cash. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (18:55):
I saw an interesting take that said that we should
stop finding and actually like work with these come needs
to actually charge them because marketing is way more expensive
than the fines, so we could make way more money
as a city.
Speaker 1 (19:07):
Agree, here's the problem.
Speaker 3 (19:08):
You keep finding comic con and you keep trying to
get every dollar you can.
Speaker 1 (19:11):
Out of them.
Speaker 3 (19:12):
One of these days it's just gonna leave San Diego
and you never come back excited to give away those
Guns n' Roses tickets. Keep listening for your opportunity to
win those coming up in just over twenty minutes. Also,
we've got a power tool Tuesday on a Wednesday that's.
Speaker 1 (19:30):
Coming up in just a little bit because we forgot.
Speaker 3 (19:32):
To do it yesterday. Also, Kat, it was your first
day back, so we couldn't do it.
Speaker 2 (19:36):
Ye, we had too much going on.
Speaker 1 (19:38):
So many things happened. Now now now it's a power tool. Twinnesday, twinesday.
Speaker 3 (19:42):
We we also have this information speaking of new a
lot of things, new things going on.
Speaker 2 (19:49):
Fletch is working out with candle bells, gang.
Speaker 1 (19:52):
Yeah, what's going on there?
Speaker 2 (19:53):
Just try to feel these trapeziuses.
Speaker 3 (19:56):
You know what you're reflecting was your bicy Yeah, what's this?
This is the trapezias. This Yeah, it hurts. That is Yes,
that is your trapezis.
Speaker 2 (20:04):
Their traps, your building, some traps.
Speaker 1 (20:05):
That's what you're working out.
Speaker 2 (20:07):
Sore as hell, but yeah, two days in feel good?
Speaker 1 (20:09):
Does your did your wife ask for broader shoulders?
Speaker 2 (20:12):
No?
Speaker 4 (20:12):
No, we're actually doing this, me and somebodies from back home.
We're all trying to get in shape for like a
sprint towards Labor Day, you know what I mean. So
we're all working out a ton. We have a push
up challenge going on. We all got kettlebells. We're just
trying to get a little swool. Do you think that
a month is going to be enough?
Speaker 2 (20:27):
Well, it's like the month is.
Speaker 1 (20:29):
I know what's going on here, I know what's going on. Here.
Speaker 3 (20:31):
So this happened to the millennial generation just about your age.
Speaker 2 (20:35):
So we get to thirty and you start feeling bad
about yourself.
Speaker 3 (20:39):
So the millennial generation, when when they all turn thirty,
the way they reacted to it is they started partying
so so much harder, so like they try to turn
back the clock and turn on all the jams they
listened to in high school and college, started partying real hard,
and then COVID hit and that kind of all went
away and everybody sort of settled back down.
Speaker 1 (21:00):
What Fletch you're.
Speaker 3 (21:01):
Going through is and by the way, that's what the
younger generation was doing behind the millennials. Well, Fletch, you're
trying to do because you're kind of like the the
diama A millennial. You're yeah, you're like the beginning of
Gen z end of the millennial generation. You're trying to
catch up to what the younger generation doing, which is
health maxing.
Speaker 2 (21:20):
So all of your buddies, I'm trying to health mogging.
Speaker 1 (21:24):
You know, why did you choose kettlebells?
Speaker 2 (21:28):
They were on sale at Walmart.
Speaker 1 (21:32):
Got I got. That's that's how you decide your care.
Speaker 2 (21:35):
With kettlebells, especially if you're doing some swings.
Speaker 4 (21:38):
Oh yeah, I got Ai working for me. I got
a bunch of Instagram videos I'm watching.
Speaker 1 (21:42):
I got a much You didn't want to let them
go fly across the room. I have a much better
idea for you. You're gonna love this all right.
Speaker 3 (21:49):
On the other side, we're gonna get Fletched into the
best shape possible.
Speaker 1 (21:53):
But he's doing it all wrong. Currently, that's next.
Speaker 2 (21:57):
We've got some breaking news in basketball.
Speaker 3 (22:01):
You absolutely are gonna want to hear on trending with
TD that's coming up in just a little bit. But
first we gotta get Fletch jacked. And this is how
we're gonna do it. Peptides, brooids, No, well, I want.
Speaker 2 (22:16):
How do you get a peptide? Okay, so a peptide.
Speaker 3 (22:19):
A peptide is actually something that we all have in
our bodies. But you can inject them or you can
take them orally, which can accelerate muscle mass development, It
can increase in recovery, it can it can help with
your body recomposition during this phase of your life where
(22:40):
you're trying to get swallow.
Speaker 2 (22:41):
Doesn't it shrink the wavos?
Speaker 1 (22:43):
No?
Speaker 2 (22:43):
No, no, I know, Like, wasn't that a thing? With steroids.
Speaker 3 (22:46):
If you take maybe if you take anabolic steroids, you
can reduce the amount of testosterone your body makes naturally.
Speaker 2 (22:54):
Don't want that?
Speaker 1 (22:55):
And then yeah, your your your balls will shrink.
Speaker 2 (22:57):
Don't want that?
Speaker 1 (22:58):
Is a is a peptide? It's a gl P one?
Is that ozempic?
Speaker 2 (23:02):
Well, a g op is a peptide.
Speaker 5 (23:04):
Your body does naturally make that, and that's what they
put in. Yeah, those epics and things.
Speaker 3 (23:09):
So basically peptides, Uh, they they they're signals. They like
signal your body to do certain things, release hormones, whatever
it may be.
Speaker 2 (23:17):
How much is this gonna cost me?
Speaker 1 (23:20):
A few?
Speaker 2 (23:22):
I don't need to do pay for any of this.
Speaker 5 (23:25):
You need a peptide dealer, and good news for you.
Fletch I know one.
Speaker 4 (23:29):
Yeah what wait, like under the table peptides? Like you
have the black market of peptides? Yes, Rich has already
bought them.
Speaker 2 (23:37):
What is this legal?
Speaker 1 (23:39):
No?
Speaker 3 (23:40):
No, no, no, no, no, definitely not I think it is.
Speaker 1 (23:44):
Who knows honestly? Oh wait?
Speaker 4 (23:46):
Can I do that thing where I like write a
number on a piece of paper and slide it across
the table and then a baggie comes back my way?
Speaker 1 (23:51):
Yeah? I want to do it that way. Negotiations, simple
text will work, all right, So check this out.
Speaker 3 (23:59):
We're gonna get you Jack, here we go. We're gonna
get you on some growth hormone. Uh secratgo cheese, doesn't matter. Look,
we're gonna get you on CJC twelve ninety.
Speaker 1 (24:11):
Five and ipomorlin.
Speaker 3 (24:13):
This common research pairing stimulates su stained growth hormone and
IGF one.
Speaker 4 (24:18):
Release what you want? Now, Who's injecting my tissue with
these things? Because I'm not doing it myself?
Speaker 1 (24:23):
Why does it have to be here?
Speaker 2 (24:25):
Don't you usually inject it into the butcher?
Speaker 5 (24:27):
I think a lot of them are in your stomach. Yeah,
sometimes in your thigh.
Speaker 3 (24:30):
A lot of peptides go into like fatty tissue, not
muscle tishes.
Speaker 2 (24:34):
My tissue is fatty tissue.
Speaker 3 (24:36):
Let's do it right in your Neckmoralin, it's a hormone
that releases h terry glan growth hormone.
Speaker 2 (24:46):
Tessa Morland, Oh, we're gonna get you so jacked.
Speaker 3 (24:50):
But coming up next, we got to talk some Lakers
basketball who are up for sale again.
Speaker 1 (24:57):
On trending with TD one.
Speaker 6 (24:59):
On one five KGB trending with TD.
Speaker 1 (25:04):
Breaking news here, Breaking news in the world of the NBA.
The La Lakers, who sold a year ago to Mark
Walter he was installed as a Lakers majority stakeholder, have
now reportedly been sold again. ESPN is reporting that they
have changed hands for twelve billion dollars. Josh Kushner and
Bob Iger, their ownership group, is purchasing the NBA franchise.
Speaker 3 (25:28):
So Josh Kushner, son of Charles Kushner, who obviously was
a billionaire and so are his children now, is the
brother of Jared Kushner, who is married to Donald Trump,
are President's daughter and works for the government.
Speaker 1 (25:45):
So Josh Kushner.
Speaker 3 (25:49):
Ties to the White House alongside Bob Eiger, by the way,
who resides in Los Angeles and is the ex Disney CEO.
Speaker 1 (25:57):
Yep. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (25:58):
What's crazy is they sold for ten billion dollars last October,
pretty elve billion dollars today.
Speaker 1 (26:04):
That's a pretty good meeting.
Speaker 4 (26:05):
In less than a year, they grew their valuation by
two billion dollars.
Speaker 3 (26:09):
That's a what that's crazy amount of money. I mean,
the Walter group just made an incredible amount of money,
a fortune of cash. I do think that in the
current day and age, you could argue that Josh Kushner
and Babyger overpaid for the Lakers. But there's really kind
of no such thing at this point because.
Speaker 4 (26:29):
What's the Lakers. Yeah, I'm the branding of the Lakers itself.
They have a superstar in Luka Doncics lockdown for the
next five years.
Speaker 3 (26:35):
We haven't seen really any valuations of teams like a
go down over the years. They only keep going up
and up and up and up depending on market. We'll
tink how many teams there are that are Lakers status?
I mean, I'm just too off top.
Speaker 4 (26:49):
Yeah, I was gonna say maybe five five is the
Dallas caliboy just in the NBA. It might just be
the Lakers, the Knicks, and the Celtics, but I mean
overall sports teams, yeah, the Yankees, the Cowboys, the.
Speaker 1 (27:01):
I mean yeah, you.
Speaker 3 (27:02):
Run out rent to your second hand yeah yeah, yeah yeah.
Speaker 2 (27:06):
I mean so there's just not that many.
Speaker 1 (27:08):
So that would make the value go up very quickly
if you got a lot of rich people who want
to buy them. Man, that's a that's a lot of dope.
Speaker 2 (27:14):
But I don't know what eases the burden though.
Speaker 3 (27:18):
Is like Josh Kushner and Barbiger, they split it six billion.
Speaker 1 (27:23):
It's fine.
Speaker 5 (27:23):
I imagine having twelve million, twelve billion dollars spend on
purchasing a team.
Speaker 3 (27:30):
It's just kind of cool to be like, hey, Josh,
I want to buy the Lakers, but do you want
to go Dutch?
Speaker 5 (27:36):
Maybe?
Speaker 2 (27:37):
I mean power balls up to lunch.
Speaker 3 (27:39):
When you go out to lunch, you're like, hey, like,
we went to PF Chang's and it's tough to split
the bill, So why.
Speaker 1 (27:45):
Don't you throw the twenty. I'll throw in twenty and
we'll just leave the.
Speaker 2 (27:48):
Rest for a tip.
Speaker 4 (27:49):
Starting tonight, one of us could be worth one twelfth
of what the Lakers are worth. Power Balls up to
one billion dollars.
Speaker 5 (27:54):
It's tonight, Okay, I need to get myself a ticket.
Speaker 1 (27:57):
Yeah, I mean Fletch invested on Mondays and he said
he was going to win.
Speaker 2 (28:02):
He didn't not even a cent.
Speaker 1 (28:04):
Wow, very very sad.
Speaker 2 (28:05):
I have a ticket to check. I'll split it with
you guys if I want anything on it.
Speaker 3 (28:09):
Oh my gosh, deal like you you always say deal
to that. If it's a recording, good.
Speaker 2 (28:14):
It's recorded.
Speaker 7 (28:15):
Man.
Speaker 1 (28:15):
New Orleans has become the first city in the United
States to send nine one one callers to an AI bought.
I guess they received more than a thousand emergency calls
every single day, so they said, hey, we need some
help here, and we're going to get the help via computer.
What's correct?
Speaker 2 (28:33):
So like that you need the human aspect at nine
one one?
Speaker 1 (28:36):
Yeah, I mean in my head, it's going to be
like you're calling a whatever, one.
Speaker 2 (28:41):
Of those phone trees.
Speaker 1 (28:42):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (28:42):
Yeah, the customer service lines where you can never get
to a real person.
Speaker 4 (28:46):
Someone press one, yeah in Spanish, press too.
Speaker 1 (28:49):
And you give me like instructions. You can speak to
me like a normal person, tell me what is your problem?
Speaker 6 (28:56):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (28:57):
Yeah, I hate that this seems you know what though,
sometimes nine one one operators they're notorious for not asking
the right questions or you're like, you know, you have
a super bad emergency and they're just asking you all
sorts of things that don't make sense instead of just
sending somebody to your house.
Speaker 1 (29:12):
I mean, I maybe it's just for non emergency lines.
It doesn't say that it has emergency calls.
Speaker 3 (29:19):
In terms of crime rates in metropolitan areas, overall safety
rank and a national city safety evaluation like Wallet Hubs
City Comparison, New Orleans ranked one hundred and eighty second
out of one hundred and eighty two cities.
Speaker 2 (29:36):
Let's see, not good.
Speaker 3 (29:37):
It frequently compares to high violent crime tiers alongside other
cities like Memphis, Tennessee, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Neighborhood variation. New
Orleans is heavily concentrated tourists, and downtown commercial sectors often
report violent crime rates at forty to seventy percent.
Speaker 1 (29:57):
Oh my goodness.
Speaker 3 (29:57):
All right, so not a great situation in New Orleans.
I wonder they probably do need ai AI help. I
wonder what it cost to put that in place? Twenty grand?
What aii?
Speaker 1 (30:09):
Yeah? Yeah, I mean probably not a ton of money.
Then that's twenty grand, and that's you're not paying somebody
to answer the phone. Now you're not paying for health
insurance and you only pay it once.
Speaker 3 (30:18):
By the way, speaking of answering phones, we're gonna start
answering phones right here in studio at eight eight eight
five seven oh one to one five caller ten. We're
sending you two guns n' roses. Who's playing Snapdragon Stadium
September two. If you want to go to the show,
you could go to ticketmaster dot com. Yeah sure, or
you could call eight eight eight five seven l one
to one five. NFL training camps are open all across
(30:42):
the country. It is happening. We are really just weeks away.
We are on the doorstep of the football season. We
already have preseason games happening coming up this week. The
entirety of the NFL are gonna be on display Tuesday
through the weekend, or excuse me, Thursday through the weekend.
But yeah, yeah, this is a time of year where
(31:04):
I used to get really, really nervous because as a
six year NFL VET, August time is hard. You just
know it, it's gonna suck. You got to get through
this part of the year. When I was playing, there
were still real to today practices, And what I mean
by that is there weren't these like morning walkthroughs and then.
Speaker 1 (31:24):
Afternoon padded practices.
Speaker 3 (31:26):
You would be in pads getting heads with people day
after day, two times a day, for hours on end
on the field, and there were restrictions in place how
long you could spend on the practice field. It was like,
think limited to four hours a day, but man, you
could get a lot of violence in in four hours.
Speaker 1 (31:43):
Whoo.
Speaker 5 (31:44):
So it would be the two days would be like
two hour practices.
Speaker 3 (31:47):
That's correct, okay, and oh they'd be miserable and it
would be hot. And when I was drafted to the
New England Patriots august in that area of the country
and Foxboro, Massachusetts is pretty hot and sweaty.
Speaker 4 (32:01):
That's why the Cowboys do their practices up in Aux Star.
Oh here in California, so rich. We had an idea
where we each jotted down one question. What random person,
a normal person would not know about an NFL training
camp or is it okay if we ask you?
Speaker 1 (32:15):
Yeah, yeah, whatever you want. Okay, all right, well I'm
training camp. I don't know a lot about But did
you did you have to bring your own sleeping bags?
I mean did you were they're tents?
Speaker 3 (32:29):
Okay, uh, s'mores, cookouts every now you had, uh, movies.
Speaker 1 (32:34):
Under the stars. It's really cool. I think that you
guys just trained around that.
Speaker 3 (32:39):
Yeah, it was pretty much. It's like just think like normal,
just think normal camp. And who was the best model builder?
Was Tom Rady really good at building model trains? We
didn't have model train building competitions, but.
Speaker 2 (32:52):
It's training camp.
Speaker 1 (32:54):
Oh got you?
Speaker 2 (32:55):
Got you?
Speaker 1 (32:56):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (32:56):
Now that you mentioned might have been a missed opportunity.
Speaker 2 (32:59):
Yeah, got hey rich?
Speaker 4 (33:01):
How many on average, would you say, grown men adult
football players cry during every training camp practice?
Speaker 1 (33:07):
Oh a lot.
Speaker 2 (33:07):
Well, not every training camp.
Speaker 3 (33:09):
I would say over the say, four to five weeks
of training camp every year. I guarantee you all a
lot when of grown men cry during that time.
Speaker 1 (33:18):
When that grown man man cries, does everyone gather around
him and hug him?
Speaker 3 (33:24):
There's a lot of that. It's like we hear you,
we feel you're you're our brother is getting cut from teams?
Speaker 4 (33:31):
Or is it because you're working out so hard that
your body starts to cry?
Speaker 3 (33:35):
Oh no, yeah, it's it's mainly just because you don't.
It's like you ever have that cry where you're literally
driving somewhere.
Speaker 1 (33:41):
You don't want to be, like I.
Speaker 3 (33:43):
Want to go like when you're a kid, but you're
a grown man doing that. Well, at very least that
was my experience. I don't know if everybody did that,
but every morning on the.
Speaker 2 (33:54):
Way to training camp.
Speaker 3 (33:55):
Oh yeah, I'd been driving from like the residence, the
Marriotte resident and saying.
Speaker 2 (34:00):
Like, oh, I just want to go back. How bad
it was awful? All right? How many times? Sorry?
Speaker 5 (34:08):
If this is inappropriate. How many times do you not
make it to the bathroom during like a practice?
Speaker 3 (34:13):
Uh huh? Are we talking water or two? Okay, So
if you if you if if you're like a situation, Yeah,
you got a situation you gotta sit down for. There's
no excusing, just you gotta you gotta go. If you
gotta go, you gotta.
Speaker 2 (34:28):
Go sprint off the field.
Speaker 3 (34:29):
However, if you just gotta pee, I mean, if it
isn't an open practice and nobody's on the field.
Speaker 2 (34:36):
You just run to a corner of the field and.
Speaker 1 (34:37):
You take a leak on the field, yeah yeah. Or
or you just take a knee.
Speaker 2 (34:44):
And you just have at it right there in front
of everyone.
Speaker 1 (34:47):
Yeah, your pants, No, you just smell of pea the
whole day.
Speaker 3 (34:51):
Oh, you spray yourself down with the gatorade, the gatorade
or the water.
Speaker 2 (34:58):
That sounds worse.
Speaker 1 (34:59):
I was gonna say you, Well, you know everyone who's
peed their pants because they have a big fruit punch
red stain in their crime.
Speaker 2 (35:05):
Yeah, it's just no big deal. It's no big deal.
Speaker 1 (35:07):
It's it's just a.
Speaker 3 (35:08):
Part of live guys. It's just it's isn't it fun?
Isn't football? Does that sound fun.
Speaker 2 (35:14):
Yeah, that's fascinating.
Speaker 1 (35:15):
I miss it so much, so really quick.
Speaker 3 (35:18):

(36:03):
meet our listeners this way. But there are occasions where
Operation Donut Drop has to pivot.
Speaker 1 (36:09):
We've never failed yet. It's always successful. We have We've
always dropped the donuts off. If that's if that is
the success if that's the bar.
Speaker 3 (36:19):
So yesterday td on I, we went out to meet
a gentleman named Tyler at his place of business. We
went to the exact address. We had our promotions team
with us. The van was parked in the parking lot.
We had the Randy's Donuts in hand, frontway, credit Union
stickers all over the boxes. That's right, and we're trying
to find Tyler, and neither Tyler nor the business actually exists.
Speaker 1 (36:44):
We could we could not find it. We could not
fake us. I mean, I don't know zone.
Speaker 2 (36:51):
That's what's going on.
Speaker 1 (36:52):
He emailed him.
Speaker 2 (36:53):
We told him we're coming. He responded we were on
our way.
Speaker 1 (36:57):
So first we tried to leave him just on random
light posts.
Speaker 3 (37:03):
But then security told us, hey, could you remove those donuts,
Sirs and Susie.
Speaker 1 (37:07):
All right.
Speaker 3 (37:08):
Then we walked into a random medical building and we
gave it to the secretarial staff.
Speaker 1 (37:12):
So Script's Health in Script's Health Clinic in Mission Valley, right,
you're welcome, right right right, Dawn. But that's who we
talked to first, Edwin Evett, and then we met Kelly
who Kelly said, my dad loved you, guys, we love you,
We love your dad.
Speaker 3 (37:28):
Yeah, we love your dad, but CALLI. She hit under
her desk the entire time. Did she tried? She tried
to fake dead instead of talk to us.
Speaker 2 (37:36):
I'm under the desk. It is a power tool Tuesday
on a Wednesday.
Speaker 3 (37:40):
Call us with your DIY disaster stories.

Speaker 3 (38:28):
We go to justice from Tula Vista Justice.
Speaker 2 (38:32):
What's your story.
Speaker 8 (38:33):
I decided to do my own oil change because they've
gone so expensive now. I figured i'd save a little
bit of money. And you know, it seemed like it
would be half the price if I did it myself.
Speaker 2 (38:44):
So you know, I went and got the oil that
I needed and the oil.
Speaker 8 (38:48):
Filter, and you know, I did the whole thing. And
you know, I was really proud of myself because I
saved some money and thought I did everything right. And well,
I guess they didn't put the oil filter in right,
because I you know, when I came back from driving
my car, I had like a huge oil staining all
over my driveway and you know, oil had been leaking out.
(39:11):
So I guess I didn't put in.
Speaker 2 (39:12):
The filter right or I don't know what.
Speaker 8 (39:15):
I screwed up, but I screwed it up royally.
Speaker 2 (39:17):
Yeah, the stains on the driveway, Justice.
Speaker 1 (39:21):
Those aren't coming out, No, No, they live with you. Now.
That's kind of makes my stomach turn a little bit, like.
Speaker 3 (39:26):
You know what, Justice, stay on the line and we
got to scram But that is a big, big mistake.
And I'll tell you right now, it is a DIY disaster.
You forget to put the filter in, You stay in
your driveway up. Wife's mad, All the neighbors are laughing
at you.
Speaker 1 (39:43):
I can you didn't screw it in tight? Enough or something.
It's a disaster. It is an absolute disaster, all right?
Speaker 2 (39:48):
Eight eight eight five seven one five.
Speaker 1 (39:50):
You get the drill.

Union Monica.
Speaker 2 (40:30):
What's your story?
Speaker 9 (40:31):
Oh well, I'm going to relive it right now and
get PTSD. Last December, my husband offered to hang the
Christmas lights on our house and I actually fought with
him about it, like babe, you're not a kid anymore.
Let's just hire it out, and he insisted. Well, we
ended up in the emergency.
Speaker 6 (40:50):
Room that night.
Speaker 9 (40:51):
Hoday a huge bill and he had a broken r
because he missed up yes, and fell off up the
ladder and at one point like rip the gutter off
the side of our house.
Speaker 2 (41:04):
Yeah, like a movie.
Speaker 5 (41:05):
Soar an er bill, and probably had to fix the gutter.
Speaker 2 (41:09):
It sounds like two oh, that's yes.
Speaker 9 (41:11):
We had to fix the gutter and ultimately ended up
paying like a neighborhood kid to hang the lights for us.
I mean we only paid him.
Speaker 4 (41:17):
A hundred bucks.
Speaker 9 (41:18):
The dutter was like three times as much.
Speaker 1 (41:20):
Man, oh man, man, I mean, nothing feels better than
when you pay some kid to come over and finish
the job for you. Yeah. I'll tell you what. I
feel like it was an inside job.
Speaker 3 (41:32):
I feel like I feel like the teenage neighbor I
would check the nest cam or you know, like.
Speaker 2 (41:38):
You know he came and the ladder.
Speaker 3 (41:40):
Yeah, yeah, I have a feeling he came by, kicked
the ladder out from under hobby and all of a
sudden he goes, oh.
Speaker 1 (41:45):
My god, I heard about the accent. Hey, if you
need to hand the lights.
Speaker 4 (41:48):
We'll do it for like a paltry hundred dollars call
being an entrepreneur.
Speaker 2 (41:53):
I like creating opportunities.
Speaker 1 (41:56):
Man, Monica awesome, Hang on, hang on the line. We
gotta get your number from it in case you are
our tool of the week or your husband.
Speaker 3 (42:03):
Is right, well, that might be the tool of the year,
right right, early Christmas ruined?
Speaker 1 (42:10):
All right?
Speaker 3 (42:10):
Uh, that is how this works. You call in with
your do it yourself disaster story. It could be yours,
It could be your husband's. It could be your grandpa,
your uncle. It could be a friend, a neighbor. It
does matter. You can win the great prize of one
hundred dollars days hardware up in Ocean Side.
Speaker 2 (42:25):
Brought to you by front Wave Credit Union.
Speaker 3 (42:27):
The number to dials eight at eight five seven oh
one one five right here on Big Rich TDM fletch.
Speaker 6 (42:32):
One O one five KGB trending with TD.
Speaker 1 (42:36):
Well, San Diego is expanding there. Get it done, app.
I didn't know they had to get it done, app,
But it's it.
Speaker 2 (42:43):
You've never used it. Yeah, it's based on them mispronounced it.
Speaker 1 (42:48):
Get her done.
Speaker 2 (42:48):
You can get it done aut call her comedy.
Speaker 1 (42:50):
Yeah you can.
Speaker 5 (42:52):
Report like if a car is illegally blocking your parking,
or if somebody is dumped things by your dumpsters, like
you can report all sorts of things. There's a flood,
like somebody's illegally dumping water.
Speaker 1 (43:03):
I am shocked that TD you're unaware of this because
I don't live in San Diego, I mean the city.
Speaker 2 (43:12):
It is kind of the neighborhood snitch app. Well, I
was gonna say, because he is the Karen of his h.
Speaker 3 (43:16):
O Again, if you're going to give a rule book,
we should all be playing the same rule I can't
believe we've never put this together, but the male name
for a Karen Travis kind of works.
Speaker 1 (43:34):
He's the guy who will who will tell on you
with the h r A if your grass is too long. No,
I will only do that if I receive a letter
that says my grass is too then I will say,
what about you're.
Speaker 3 (43:47):
Telling me that you've only complained on other people that
you've received letters for I receive I received complaints from
the h O A that I say, I object. You've
ever complained about anything that other people were doing that
you weren't.
Speaker 1 (44:02):
You didn't have a complaint against you about I complained
about the HOA giving me a set of ccnrs that
we were all supposed to follow, and then people do
not follow. So then I say, if you're going to
send me letters for things that are incorrect because I
am following the ccnrs, you have to now go after
them and they don't.
Speaker 2 (44:21):
You are an indom question. You are the Karen. This
is this is the Karen test.
Speaker 1 (44:25):
We can eliminate the ha And how often do you
have the Starbucks employees remake your drink? How often do
I have them remake my drink? Is it a Starbucks
that I frequent or not? I'm just saying, I'm just saying, well,
the getter done. App Apparently they're now expanding it to
where you can go after people a little easier if
(44:48):
they have a dog illegally running off leash. So there's
new QR codes that are going to put up so
you just scan these things. I guess that's because there's
been growing complaints about off leash dogs not only damaging fields,
but then leaving behind waste where kids play because a
lot of the.
Speaker 5 (45:04):
Times it is at like elementary school yards.
Speaker 2 (45:07):
That you know before school or maybe on the weekends.
Speaker 3 (45:10):
Oh there was one that was I guess people realized
they didn't lock the gate over near where I live.
Huh And man, that school ground was covered in dog poop.
Oh my god, so these kids were literally coming home.
We know a set of parents who had their kid
going there, like he would come home with just poop
on his shoes every single day.
Speaker 1 (45:29):
And apparently we all know they will not poop if
they are on a leak sure man. Earlier this morning,
Google unveiled its latest lineup of Pixel phones.
Speaker 2 (45:39):
I think they're trying to.
Speaker 1 (45:40):
Make this a big deal, slimmer cameras that include a
more powerful zoom but ai, I mean that's what they're
loading this thing up with. They wanted to make it
to where you don't have to tap or swipe as much.
You can just talk to your phone. I don't know
a singular person that owns a pixel Google Pixel phone. No,
I don't either.
Speaker 3 (45:58):
In fact, I think the last two people on the
planet who on a Google phone are my parents. My oh,
Patty and Richard Rmberg. Your parents have Google, They have
Google phones, Android platforms. Okay, they love them. I'm so irritating. Yeah,
all group text are and green for you.
Speaker 2 (46:14):
That's works.
Speaker 1 (46:15):
I mean, I can't send them movies.
Speaker 2 (46:18):
They're always like it's blurry. I'm like, get an iPhone.
Speaker 1 (46:22):
What's that?
Speaker 2 (46:23):
I said, get get an iPhone?
Speaker 1 (46:26):
The love of god, didn't they didn't they change the
green bubble thing? No? Didn't that go away? No?
Speaker 2 (46:31):
No, it's still If you send to somebody, it's terrible.
Speaker 1 (46:36):
Man. We have another cougar entering the only fans space.
Fifty five year old former w w E star Don Marie.
I don't know. I guess she She became big during
the ww Diva Zara. I didn't watch WWE during this time,
but I god, I thought you were going to say,
cat Fisher, cat Fisher. Guy.
Speaker 2 (46:59):
Come on, are you pulling up don Marie?
Speaker 5 (47:01):
There?
Speaker 1 (47:02):
Yeah, there's Don Marie fifty five years old. The fifty
five year old today is not the fifty five year
old when I was growing up. No.
Speaker 5 (47:09):
No, If you watch movie that came out, like in
the nineties or the two thousands, they would showcase people
that were my age, Like women in their thirties looked
like they were in their fifties.
Speaker 3 (47:20):
If you were thirty five, you were pretty much knocking
down deaths over with.
Speaker 2 (47:25):
Yeah, over was pretty yeah.
Speaker 1 (47:27):
I mean Alice from the Brady Bunch was like thirty five.
Speaker 5 (47:30):
I know it's crazy now, Grandmas are hot, You're damn.
Speaker 3 (47:33):
Right, yeah, don Marie Martha Stewart eight at eight five
seven L one one five. That's the number to dial
if you want to go see Guns and Roses at
Snapdragon Stadium. It's a September second show. You could go
to ticketmaster dot com for details like one does. Just
go to the website for the deats, or you could
call eight eight eight five seven L one to one
(47:54):
five and be caller ten right now to see GNR
in sd so as soon as we gave away the
Guns and Roses tickets.
Speaker 1 (48:02):
And by the way, who is our winner again? Oh
was Paul out of East Village.
Speaker 3 (48:05):
Paul. Congrats to Paul. You're going to see GNR. That's
a fun show. We're gonna have two more opportunities by
the way, for you tomorrow to win a pair of tickets,
as well as later on in the station day with
Clint August. So keep listening to one on one five
KGB keep it locked here for Guns and Roses tickets.
But yeah, we just finish up trending with TD, and
(48:26):
we give away the guns and Roses tickets to Paul,
and you know, we start playing some music and TD
immediately removes his headphones and he goes Starbucks has a
recipe and all they have to do is just follow
the recipe. It's supposed to be six pumps of Simon
Dulce a sir, but I don't understand why they shorthand me.
Speaker 1 (48:45):
You're talking about for a venti five pumps.
Speaker 2 (48:48):
This is coming off.
Speaker 4 (48:50):
I asked the true test of a care and how
often do you have Starbucks remake your drink? And TD said,
if I pay seven dollars for a drink, it better
be good.
Speaker 1 (48:57):
It says, should just be right, Just follow what the
recipe is. That's all.
Speaker 2 (49:00):
I'm I actually agree with you, TD.
Speaker 5 (49:02):
That coffee drinks have gotten far too expensive and they
should be made right.
Speaker 1 (49:06):
That's all.
Speaker 3 (49:07):
Thank you, cat Gosh, I'm not doubting for a second
that it is frustrating when somebody screws.
Speaker 1 (49:13):
Up your coffee order.
Speaker 3 (49:14):
How many times have you complained about a Starbucks employee
screwing up your coffee orders?
Speaker 1 (49:19):
Countless? Wow? Well the countless, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (49:22):
I have no idea.
Speaker 1 (49:22):
I mean literally hundreds of times.
Speaker 4 (49:24):
Whoa, let's put a percentageohman, of the times you go
to Starbucks?
Speaker 3 (49:28):
Yeah, like about how many percentage? Like so what out
of ten times? How many times you ask them to
remake it once?
Speaker 6 (49:34):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (49:34):
That's not bad of the time. Here's where I.
Speaker 1 (49:37):
Started to usually go to the same one, okay, because
I know they're they're good.
Speaker 5 (49:43):
If I know TD, then I'm going to have an
unsatisfactory experience at a restaurant or maybe with a man.
Speaker 2 (49:48):
I stopped going to that place, you know, lord, Yeah,
I mean I give you.
Speaker 3 (49:55):
I understood staring, yeah, because that was something takeout.
Speaker 5 (50:00):
But the time that you're asking them to remake that's
not awful.
Speaker 1 (50:04):
Yeah, I wouldn't think Somi. Come on, but I did
buy an espresso machine, and then I was buying their
their cinnamon dol Say syrup and then making it at home. Yeah,
just making it home because I knew the rest of
you say, you're.
Speaker 2 (50:18):
A veteran, follow the rest.
Speaker 1 (50:21):
But then they stopped selling it. And whatever the brand is,
Toro or toy, it's not the same.
Speaker 3 (50:27):
It's not the same. So I agree with that. Well, look,
I mean it's not a band. I've learned things from you.
Just because you're a Karen doesn't mean that it's a bat.
It's necessary. I know there's a negative Karen. I'm not
a Karen, just I won't say it. Here's the recipe,
you can you just follow it.
Speaker 2 (50:42):
Dude, you're a Karen. Why would that be a Karen?
Speaker 6 (50:44):
No?
Speaker 1 (50:44):
No, no, If you're complete, you're only Matt nice Karens.
Speaker 2 (50:47):
By the way, if you're if you're.
Speaker 3 (50:49):
Ratting out people to the HOA and you're you're asking Starbucks.
Speaker 1 (50:53):
I'm not really ratting out people to the h away
sort of. I'm more just planning that the HOA exists.
Speaker 3 (51:01):
But it's not a bad thing because I've learned things
from you, Like so you recently discovered a hack that
we actually brought up on just a tip with Big
Rich of how to reduce your bills with certain companies
if they're gonna have an intro rate for new customers.
Speaker 1 (51:17):
Now'd you be offered to a current customers right? If
you weren't a Karen, I would not have learned that.
Speaker 2 (51:23):
I don't think that's a Karen. Why would that be
a Karen activity?
Speaker 1 (51:26):
I'm just saying I've been a paying, loyal customer wouldn't
you want to reward me?
Speaker 2 (51:29):
Yeah, I agree with you.
Speaker 1 (51:31):
To look at Cat and I just hanging out today.
You know what her middle name is, Karen Man.
Speaker 3 (51:37):
A lot of conversation in this studio about SpaceX and
I told you so, and I'm not and I told
you so guy. But Fletch is over there flexing his
muscles because SpaceX has rebounded up to one hundred, up
to over one hundred and forty dollars per share.
Speaker 4 (51:53):
They just launched a bunch of new Starlink satellites up
into space, so our stock is going nice.
Speaker 2 (51:58):
Me and Chairman TD, if.
Speaker 3 (52:00):
You would have waited, you could have gotten your stock
at a discount like I told you, and you didn't.
You didn't listen to the financial advisory of advice. Also,
I told you to buy the dip and you didn't.
This stock dipped all the way down to the low hundreds.
You could have gotten more stock if you're such a
believer it SpaceX fledge.
Speaker 1 (52:19):
I was waiting for one hundred and three dollars.
Speaker 4 (52:21):
Sixty, which I believe is what you told us that
I said once everybody's gonna sell off, is that'll get
down to sixty and then you buy more.
Speaker 1 (52:28):
What's it happened? I never want forty two too, So
we're seven dollars up.
Speaker 2 (52:33):
Yeah, we're doing great.
Speaker 1 (52:33):
I'm gonna sell and invest.
Speaker 2 (52:35):
How much stock did you buy?
Speaker 5 (52:38):
Want?
Speaker 2 (52:38):
They one cherry each, so you each have gotten seven
dollars And I.
Speaker 3 (52:43):
Told Fletchers dump so we don't have it. Yeah, it's
all it's rotten. Yeah, it's look TD and I are
going to board meetings. We're really pounding the pavement trying
to get this thing going.
Speaker 1 (52:52):
Trying to wear suits. Now, oh yeah, we do have seats.
Speaker 4 (52:55):
We're the only ones who are wearing the blue and
the orange from Dumb and Dumber in these stock meetings.
Speaker 2 (52:59):
But it's good. It's us, you know what.
Speaker 5 (53:01):
I have been wanting to invest in some sort of
stock and I'm not going to take advice from any
of the three of you.
Speaker 1 (53:06):
No, no, no, here's if you want to buy SpaceX, it
will dip again.
Speaker 3 (53:09):
So what's happening is they're unlocking shares to be sold
for people who bought in prior to it. IPO in
the first unlock happened at the end of the quarter,
so at the end of July. The reason why there
was such a steep, precipitous decline of the stock price
was because they unlocked all these shares for.
Speaker 2 (53:28):
People to sell off, so they did.
Speaker 3 (53:30):
Now it dipped all the way down to one hundred
Fletched and buy any more stock, I'm then to climb
back up to its original IPO price. So you have
another dip coming up in Fletch. If you'll listen to
your financial advisory team here, it's going to dip again,
and it's going to be halfway through the fall.
Speaker 4 (53:49):
Can I borrow some money for me from any of
you to invest in it. I'm kind of running dry
right now. This is your trip really wiped me out. Also,
you should have bought some from some stocks overseas.
Speaker 2 (54:02):
Is that a thing?
Speaker 3 (54:03):
Oh? Yeah, there's stock markets in Japan, there's stock markes
in Europe, there's other countries that have stock markes.
Speaker 1 (54:09):
There's foreign exchanges.
Speaker 4 (54:10):
Honestly, I spent the majority of my time overseas sitting
in pubs reminiscing on seventeen seventy six, especially when we
were in London, Like I was listening to podcasts about
what happened during the Revolutionary War while sitting in Albert's Pub,
which is right next to the Parliament building in London.
Speaker 1 (54:25):
You guys think I'm insane because I just want my
coffee made right, all right? Yeah? No, what's happening over here?
Speaker 2 (54:31):
This guy, this guy, he's all sixes and sevens. Fletcher's
a nostalgic man. No, it's good though, it's really good.
Speaker 3 (54:40):
By the way, we have to get a little bit
of a breakdown of your europe trip. We haven't really
taken the full tour of what you did while you're overseas.
We're very distracted, highly distracted with welcoming Cap back to
studio yesterday.
Speaker 2 (54:53):
And also by Fletch's mers.
Speaker 3 (54:55):
That's also true tactical sling bag. It's that easy pers
guy summer. It's per s guy summer. And you are
leading the charge so randomly on the Instagram feed, picture
of the Ultimate Warrior popped up or a meme of
the Ultimate Warrior popped up, and I was thinking to myself,
oh man, that brings me right back to a couple
(55:17):
of weeks ago when I was watching the Hulk Hogan
doc like many people have on Netflix.
Speaker 1 (55:21):
It's a really good watch.
Speaker 3 (55:23):
I think it's a four part or four episodes, and
it's about an hour and a piece, and it talks
about all the phases of his life from young Hulk Hogan,
when he was just Terry Balaya, you know, trying to
find his way to these like dark matches and learned
professional wrestling. He talks about how he was really intimidated
by the whole you know, quest of becoming a professional wrestler,
(55:44):
to then his time rising through the ranks of the
then WWF and the regional wrestling promotions that were happening
in different corners of the country, and how like the Midwest,
like Minnesota was a huge hotspot for wrestling, and then
there was a Texas Region fact and a Florida Region
faction where he came from, and then there was one
in the Northeast, and they all sort of, you know,
(56:05):
combined and congealed into the WWF eventually.
Speaker 1 (56:08):
And I think it was Vince McMahon's dad who had
a pretty big wrestling operation, but it was in the
Northeast or something like that. Yeah, And then so Vince
was like, we should just make this the Worldwide Wrestling
fashion and literally made it that.
Speaker 3 (56:22):
So the Ultimate Warrior comes up in conversation because at
one point there was a falling out between Vince McMahon,
the son of the original Vince who made the WWF,
and Terry balaa Hulk Hogan where Hogan left the WWF
now WWE, and the Ultimate Warrior was sort of promoted
(56:43):
to being the guy. Like it's like we they needed
a superhero and he had to fill the void.
Speaker 1 (56:48):
Well, when the Ultimate Warrior came into the WWF, he
was huge. I mean, the guy was a monster. He
did bodybuilding before he did wrestling, and a lot of
steroids allegedly. Uh but uh, I mean he was just
and he had a lot of energy and kids loved him.
And McMahon looked at him and went, he's gonna be
(57:09):
our next superstar because Hogan had been the superstar for
a few years now, and went, well, you're gonna be
on your way out, so we're gonna now make the
Ultimate Warrior the guy. So WrestleMania six rolls around, it's time.
It's gonna be Hulk Hogan versus the Ultimate Warrior, and
the Ultimate Warrior is gonna win, and he does.
Speaker 2 (57:28):
And everybody in wrestling hated the Ultimate Warrior.
Speaker 5 (57:32):
Wait, like the inside camp, Yeah yeah, yeah, Like apparently
the Ultimate like nobody liked the guy.
Speaker 3 (57:38):
Apparently he was like a head case and he was
mean to everyone, and he would screw up promos and
he'd blame everyone else, and like he was like this.
Speaker 1 (57:46):
Jerky he had a huge, huge ego, huge ego, like.
Speaker 3 (57:49):
Would turn down kids for autographs and pictures and with
god like was just the worst of the worst.
Speaker 5 (57:54):
I mean, now, as somebody who did not grow up
with wrestling and still does not watch wrestling, I'm kind
of assumed that a lot of the characters within that
type of field, yes, that maybe they are as you're
describing this Ultimate Warrior to be a lot.
Speaker 2 (58:13):
Like they're the greatest.
Speaker 3 (58:14):
Yeah, even the Hulk Hogan like as okay, so the
whole Cogan got it.
Speaker 1 (58:19):
I mean, this is about the fans. He had some
skeletons too. I'm not saying he was a great guy.
Speaker 3 (58:25):
No, no, no, And he had some seriously crazy stuff
going on in his life.
Speaker 1 (58:29):
But he always treated the kids well.
Speaker 3 (58:31):
If he always like went to the hospitals and shook
the hands and kissed the babies.
Speaker 4 (58:36):
Have you seen the video of the like thirteen year
old kid walking into a signing doing Hulk and they
would go back and forth.
Speaker 1 (58:43):
His beach, whatever house whatever it is in Florida. He
sells memorabilia out of in the sand. Yeah, bizarre.
Speaker 3 (58:50):
It's been so crazy, but yeah, there's like this little
whole co maniac came in. He was like, oh, some brother,
when I get down to the beach, I'm gonna take
you out. And then Hulk starts like cutting a promo
with the kid. It was hysterical.
Speaker 1 (59:03):
So A and E had some you know, behind the
scenes with the WWFIT. They were running the series and
there was one on The Ultimate Warrior, and when I
watched it, I was depressed, ye because when I was
a kid.
Speaker 2 (59:15):
God, I love this guy, I.
Speaker 1 (59:16):
Mean loved it.
Speaker 3 (59:18):
A cousin who was all about Ultimate Warrior when those
wrestling buddies came out, Man, he was the one who
always won. That was sad because I didn't known the
Ultimate Warrior one A right, let's frighten the mood with
a review of Fletcher's trip around Europe next, All right,
So fletch. He he fled the country, went out to Scotland, England,
(59:38):
and then he found himself in France on a European tour.
And man, that vacation really did sound cool. You went
touring around Europe with your wife Kendall Fletch, and we
still haven't really reviewed exactly what you saw, so best
and worst thing you did in each country. I think
that's that's the best way to sort of encapsulate the
whole trail you started in Scotland started in Scotland and
(01:00:01):
ed told us you were going to golf courses.
Speaker 2 (01:00:04):
We did not go to a single golf course.
Speaker 4 (01:00:06):
We saw a lot of them on the train ride
from Scotland to London, which was unbelievable. But Scotland, honestly,
the best part of Scotland is just walking around Edinburgh
and going through the Highlands, like the views of Scotland.
How old everything is. Everything that's been made there was
made before the USA even was thought of. Wow, it's
everything is thousands of years old and it's so beautiful
(01:00:27):
and serene, and their sheep everywhere. Worst part about Scotland
the food sucks. It does it sucks.
Speaker 5 (01:00:32):
It's like a lot of potatoes.
Speaker 4 (01:00:34):
Everything is just bland like they Yeah, no one figured
out how to use salt and pepper in Scotland.
Speaker 1 (01:00:39):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:00:40):
The food in the United Kingdom in general sucks. Ireland Scotland, Wales, England.
It's all bad, but Scotland was unbelievable. It was probably
my favorite part of the trip.
Speaker 4 (01:00:51):
Now London, I don't have a lot of nice things
to say about London, if I'm being honest. It was dirty,
It was kind of gross. It was hot and muggy.
The people were rude, like they drink tea. The food
also sucked in London. We went to like an authentic
tea place. Tea kinda sucks. We got it right by
dumping into the harbor. You could have you could have
had tea here and decided to suck. You Ready for
(01:01:11):
the best part about London, Huh. Saint Paul's Cathedral, which
was actually blown to shreds during World War two, and
so they've rebuilt it a bunch of different times. But
there's a really cool part in Saint Paul's Cathedral, which
is where Princess Diana and now King Charles got married,
which is where a lot of the royal stuff has happened,
where there's twenty eight thousand names in a book and
it's at the very back of the cathedral, kind of hidden.
(01:01:33):
Those twenty eight thousand names are the names of us
troops who did not come back to the United States
after World War Two because they died defending that area
of London, who so private citizens in London when the
rebuild was happening, said you know what, we want to
pay for this part of the church that's being rebuilt
and dedicated to those twenty eight thousand US troops.
Speaker 1 (01:01:53):
Wow.
Speaker 4 (01:01:54):
And so it's really cool seeing that little bit of
Americana kind of in that in that very very English place.
Speaker 1 (01:02:00):
It's weird. It kind of makes me mad, though they
did something cool.
Speaker 2 (01:02:03):
It's the one cool thing about the entirety of London.
I'm telling you London.
Speaker 5 (01:02:07):
London is awesome. There's cool places to go, there's cool
things to see.
Speaker 1 (01:02:12):
I will also say that I do like iced tea
a lot. I do like it's we like ice sweet tea.
Here in the United States, their tea just sucks. Well.
Speaker 3 (01:02:22):
So we just bought at Trader Joe's Cat by the way,
a big favorite, a big jug a gallon of black
tea and we're gonna add peach juice to it, the
peach nectar and the guava nectar. Yeah, oh my gosh,
you got a little flavored tea from Strow.
Speaker 2 (01:02:37):
So that's not the type of tea that you were
having in London. Yeah, yeah, great.
Speaker 4 (01:02:44):
And then finally in Paris, I would say the best
part of Paris is like the touristy things of Paris,
like you go to see Mulan Rouge, you go to
see the Eiffel Tower, you go to see the Arctic Triomphe. Oh,
that's very, very very cool. Worst part about Paris the
graffiti is everywhere. Really, It's like they've tried to ruin
this beautiful, gorgeous town with so much history.
Speaker 2 (01:03:03):
Now is it graffiti? Is it street art? What's no,
It's like graffiti.
Speaker 4 (01:03:06):
It's like it's everywhere too, unless you go to the
really fancy places like the Shangri La Hotel is right
there and the you could see the Eiffel Tower. All
that's pristine and beautiful and I looked it up. They
spend five hundred thousand dollars a week cleaning up graffiti
for parts.
Speaker 1 (01:03:20):
Of the week.
Speaker 3 (01:03:22):
Cagos is a graffiti or street art, as if there's
a differences, road killers, it rotstacks.
Speaker 4 (01:03:30):
It's like you have these beautiful thousand year old stone
buildings that are just covered in like French words like
like it sucks. It sucks that that's what it's come
down to.
Speaker 5 (01:03:40):
Yeah, I do get mad when I see graffiti around
here as well, because it does kind of ruin a
building or can. But there are a lot of places
that pay artists probably do.
Speaker 4 (01:03:51):
Like it is not that it is not that it
is vandalism and it's and the people who live in Paris,
like you can tell people who have been there their
whole lives and their families have been there hate it.
Speaker 2 (01:03:58):
Yeah, so much like we're.
Speaker 3 (01:04:00):
Talking about a muralist and you want to call that
like street art, okay, but like yeah, anytime I see
like some spray pain or whatever and people try to
defend it, like no, it's charming to go under that
underpass and see all the different artists.
Speaker 4 (01:04:16):
Like yeah, seeing that I think this show would love
about Paris is the way that they kind of do
their afternoons. They just sit outside at a cafe. Everybody
and all the cafe chairs point the same direction, so
you stay inside of the booth it with whoever you're with, Yeah,
and you just drink and eat bread for like two
or three hours at four o'clock every day. Now you're
talking at four o'clock. Yeah, and then you don't have
dinner until like ten o'clock. It's kind of fantastic.
Speaker 1 (01:04:38):
That's a little late, you.
Speaker 4 (01:04:40):
Know what, though, But everybody you just get off work,
you clock out, you go to a cafe, you sit down,
and you just people watch and talk to the table
next to you, talk.
Speaker 2 (01:04:49):
To the server.
Speaker 1 (01:04:49):
They start their day later of there.
Speaker 3 (01:04:51):
They don't like wake up the They sleep in ntil
whenever and they get to work I guess at their
own leisurely pace.
Speaker 1 (01:04:58):
Sounds sounds very lazy. Yeah, yeah, yeah, perfect.
Speaker 3 (01:05:01):
Can you imagine if we just started the show when
we all got here, it would never happen Because we
work with Cat.
Speaker 1 (01:05:11):
She's a sleepy guinea.
Speaker 3 (01:05:14):
She often takes catnaps that lasts thirteen to seventeen hours.
Speaker 6 (01:05:20):
One trending with td.
Speaker 1 (01:05:24):
All of San Diego County seventy mile coastline is still
under a flood advisory. It will end tonight at eleven pm,
but expect high tides seven point two to seven point
five feet. Wow, I know how to measure that.
Speaker 3 (01:05:37):
Of course, those are really high tides, so you could
get you could get pretty.
Speaker 2 (01:05:42):
Drilled by a much smaller way than that.
Speaker 3 (01:05:45):
So yeah, just if you're getting in the water, be wariest,
especially if you're with little kids.
Speaker 1 (01:05:50):
And be heads up. If you're driving around there could
be roads that are closed because they are maybe some flooding.
Coast Hilarias can expect flooding in the low lying parking lots,
parks and roads. Wow, So just be careful out there.
The NFL's valuation list has come out, and and he
guesses that what the most valuable franchise is Dallas Cowboys. Again, Artie, Real,
(01:06:12):
you are correct. Any guests on the on the value they're.
Speaker 3 (01:06:15):
Rich, I would say they're I mean, if the Lakers
just sold for twelve billion dollars, I would say that
Dallas Cowboys are worth sixteen billion.
Speaker 1 (01:06:25):
You're much closer than Fletch here, but you went over
so price is right rules. Fletch wins fifteen point five
billion dollars valuation the book. Any any guesses on who
the cheapest team is, ooh, it's.
Speaker 2 (01:06:38):
Somebody you forget about the Jaguars.
Speaker 4 (01:06:40):
I was gonna guess the Florida team.
Speaker 1 (01:06:44):
You guys are all wrong. It's the Cincinnati Bengals for
the seventh straight year seven point six billion dollars amnible.
Speaker 3 (01:06:51):
Right, that's boys seven point six billion game and get
a reasonable home for that kind of money.
Speaker 1 (01:06:58):
But it's crazy. You could buy the Angles twice before
you could buy the Cowboys. Incredible, did you guys see? Well,
first of all, do you know who Shaboozy is? Someone
bore me up a double shot a whiskey guy. So
there was a California couple, a so Cow couple. They
were out in Mammoth. There's a river that runs through there.
Speaker 5 (01:07:18):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (01:07:18):
And while they were they're out there getting married. It
was there, it was their wedding. There was a wedding photographer.
They were filming, taking pictures, and all of a sudden,
some people in inner tube started just coming down the river.
Speaker 3 (01:07:30):
It was Shaboozy. Oh he wedding crashed on a lazy river.
Speaker 1 (01:07:35):
Apparently he was part of something called the Wooly Run,
which is a two being excursion, the camping and too excursion.
And then while the wedding was happening, his tube just
started floating by. So he got out and hung out
with them at the wedding. That's awesome. Well, ah man,
it was I mean, what can that happened to me?
I want Shaboozy to hang out almost as cool.
Speaker 2 (01:07:53):
As Drake Bell coming to the studio yesterday. That cool off.
Speaker 3 (01:08:00):
We'll never forget Kat's first day back on the air
where we got her.
Speaker 7 (01:08:04):
Drake back from Nickelodeon Studio. Buckett's check for you. Yeah,
it's a big day all right. Coming up next, we
have just the tip with Big Rich.
Speaker 3 (01:08:17):
Actually it's related to celebrities signings, so perfect time for
the Shabboosi story and the Drake belvis And honestly.
Speaker 1 (01:08:26):
It's Big Rich Tdium fletch.
Speaker 2 (01:08:28):
It's just a tip with Big Rich.
Speaker 3 (01:08:31):
Yes it is. It's that time of the show where
I give a little advice. I'm pushing it out your way.
You could chump it back this way if you don't
like it. No harm, no foul. It's just a tip
of Big Rich. This advice today is how to spot celebrities.
A lot of people want to take a picture, take
a selfie, get an autograph, and we're just talking about
(01:08:54):
how Shaboozie crashed a wedding in Mammoth. Okay, so check
this out. There's a lot of people who do this
for a living. They're called the paparazzi. Do what they do.
Speaker 1 (01:09:07):
No, no, no, no, that people don't like the paparazzi so
to upscale restaurants and hotels like the Ivy or chat
to Marmont in Los Angeles, but people don't like that
to happen.
Speaker 2 (01:09:18):
Attend the Jimmy Kimmel Live Show. Okay, all right, you
know celebrities frequent.
Speaker 1 (01:09:24):
You're gonna see a celebrity very least one. I mean,
if you're in the audience, very least. I mean he's
the host, he's a celebrity.
Speaker 3 (01:09:32):
But actually a lot of those late night shows, especially now,
they'll you don't necessarily have to pay for every ticket
they're sometimes they're just trying to fill seats.
Speaker 1 (01:09:42):
Yeah, I don't do you do you usually pay for
those tickets. I don't. I don't think you do.
Speaker 3 (01:09:46):
There are certain shows where you would have to, you know,
I mean, like at the height of her power, Oprah,
you'd have to pay for tickets, or like.
Speaker 2 (01:09:54):
Ellen, I'd pay right now for an Oprah ticket.
Speaker 5 (01:09:57):
Yeah, because you were guaranteed walk away with seventeen thousand
dollars a prize, you get a.
Speaker 1 (01:10:02):
Car, and you get a car. I just feel like
Oprah kind of raised me. That's all that's all.
Speaker 2 (01:10:09):
She's like, are you into Oprah?
Speaker 1 (01:10:11):
I don't mind?
Speaker 2 (01:10:12):
Orpa, what did you just call her?
Speaker 3 (01:10:16):
That's that's what Greeks say at a wedding.
Speaker 1 (01:10:23):
Last loves Oprah?
Speaker 2 (01:10:25):
Yeah, well she's awesome.
Speaker 3 (01:10:27):
My sister watched Oprah every single day after school when
we got home from school, and it was so good.
Speaker 1 (01:10:35):
It was my favorite. It started out it was like
Mary Povich, I really did Oprah morphed into?
Speaker 3 (01:10:40):
And then to Cat's point, her favorite things anyways, getting
back to a list, go to public ceremonies, like anytime
they're doing like the Chinese theater hands in the wet cement,
or they're doing the Hollywood Walk or fame thing.
Speaker 1 (01:10:56):
That is what they're doing.
Speaker 3 (01:10:57):
They're literally going into the public to be celebrated, so
you can go and snap a selfie there. Skip the
tourist stuff like the uh the zones where it's gonna
be high foot traffic of like Taurus because guess what
celebrities are.
Speaker 1 (01:11:11):
Gonna skip those two? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (01:11:12):
True, you gotta wait and lobbies and ambush them from
behind a plant.
Speaker 2 (01:11:18):
This is terrible advice.
Speaker 1 (01:11:20):
Spring out with them.
Speaker 5 (01:11:22):
Okay, you could have gone to Hell's Kitchen. The Broadway
last night and seeing Alicia Keys, or go.
Speaker 4 (01:11:27):
To a number of big concerts all throughout San Diego, man.
Speaker 1 (01:11:32):
Or Light or Luke Bryant. Oh, that'd be a good one.
Speaker 3 (01:11:36):
You could go to Peco Park this weekend and see
Jason al Dean with Luke Bryan It's gonna be a
huge show. If you want to go, you gotta be
caller ten here at eight aight eight five seven oh
one on one five call that number, be caller ten.
You're going to show at Peco Biggert Stdium fletch one
on one five kg B the second day in a row.
(01:11:58):
That cat is in studio with us, back from her
long sabbatical handling some health stuff.
Speaker 2 (01:12:03):
And who you are now? Yesterday you barely made it in.
Speaker 3 (01:12:07):
It was only because a cat fight in the alley
literally outside your window woke you up.
Speaker 5 (01:12:12):
I slept through my alarm for fifty minutes until there
was a cat fight outside of my apartment that woke
me up.
Speaker 2 (01:12:19):
Yes, thanks to you boys.
Speaker 3 (01:12:21):
Today you said you turned your rigger all the way
up and went to bed earli early last night because
you were spent. How exhausted would you say you are
right now? After going through your second four hour show
with us.
Speaker 2 (01:12:34):
I don't feel that bad right now.
Speaker 5 (01:12:35):
Actually, wow, you guys are energizing pretty good.
Speaker 1 (01:12:38):
No so, but yesterday you way overslept, and today you
got up on time I did.
Speaker 5 (01:12:43):
I woke up early today. I did so much this
morning before I came to work. I stood on my
vibration plate, I did my guash.
Speaker 3 (01:12:50):
Excuse me, I mean, because you got here say either
of those things on the radio. I'm pretty sure. Yeah,
we're gonna get sued by the FCC or fine something
like that.
Speaker 2 (01:13:00):
Vibration plates are fine and healthy.
Speaker 1 (01:13:02):
You know what. I also got here the same time
today as yesterday, that.
Speaker 2 (01:13:07):
I did more stuff before I came to work. You
know what, you can make a really nice summer salad
out of guasha.
Speaker 1 (01:13:15):
Yeah, like a nice grilled guasha salad.
Speaker 5 (01:13:18):
You knows to like get the lymphatic system moving and
then it gets your your face a little bit more.
Speaker 3 (01:13:25):
And by the way, there's nothing lymphatic about you.
Speaker 1 (01:13:28):
We think you're in great shape.
Speaker 2 (01:13:30):
You're skinny.
Speaker 1 (01:13:33):
Figure. It's TV of Fletch. That's a show for today.
Speaker 3 (01:13:35):
More Guns of Roses tickets Tomorrow We're outing Soulner.
Speaker 2 (01:14:01):
