Speaker 1 (00:00):
Let me ask you something.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
When you come in on Monday and you're not feeling
real well, does anyone ever say to you?

Speaker 3 (00:06):
Sounds like someone has a case of the Mondays. Monday sucks.
But here we go.

Speaker 4 (00:13):
There's only seventeen more until Sanna says, hope the weekend's done,
so it's.

Speaker 3 (00:21):
Back to work.

Speaker 4 (00:23):
TD failed his family when he tried to twork. Kat
wouldn't go with TD to a show without Rich. Sounds
to me like she's just being kind of a bit rude.

Speaker 5 (00:38):
No, no, man, no man, I believe you get your
ass kicks saying so much that man.

Speaker 3 (00:46):
Happy Monday to those who celebrate. It's Big Rich, TD
and Fletch live with you on this glorious Monday, the
seventeenth day of August twenty twenty six. I'm big Rich here.
I am, uh, just the same old guy sitting next
to my companion, my dog TD. Across from him is

(01:10):
Cat as always, who's being a bit.

Speaker 1 (01:14):
Rude?

Speaker 3 (01:14):
Rude?

Speaker 1 (01:15):
I never root you guys. Maw No, of course.

Speaker 3 (01:18):
Fletch on the board now.

Speaker 5 (01:20):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (01:20):
We we've all went off in our variety of different
directions this week or I should say, this weekend and
came back with stories. So we're going to fill you
in throughout the show what this weekend look like like.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
They could not have looked any different.

Speaker 3 (01:35):
What TD was up to over the weekend is something
that Cat You've done many times.

Speaker 5 (01:42):
Yeah, Actually, Td, your weekend looked a lot like my
weekends usually.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
Did you love it or did you hate it? That awesome?
He's telling his face, which looked like it was telling
the truth when I looked at his face, Cat, you
you actually did.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
Stuff that was more like the stuff I normally do.

Speaker 3 (02:05):
It felt like.

Speaker 1 (02:06):
And then I did the stuff that you normally do.

Speaker 3 (02:08):
It felt like because I was up in the Pacific
Northwest and Fletch it's a beautiful mystery what he was
up to.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
I did Fletch things. I drank beer and played golf.

Speaker 3 (02:17):
There it is. It was, It was amazing, It was.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
It was a freaky Friday for almost the whole show,
almost last Friday.

Speaker 3 (02:24):
The entire show, except Fletch very much fletched it. It
was out there just fletching off he always does. So
we'll get to all that here in a in a
short while, But first we are going to give you
an opportunity to win some SeaWorld tickets, and we're going
to fill you in on all the things happened at
SeaWorld because we have an insider. We have a guy

(02:46):
who's peeled back the glossy veneer and went into the machine.
That's next. So Saliva played SeaWorld San Diego over the
week and now we are giving away a four pack
of tickets twice this show to SeaWorld. That's coming up
a little bit later on, but in the meantime we'll
explain how that works in just a little bit. But

(03:07):
in the meantime, TD talk to us because you were
on stage with Saliva.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
Yeah, yeah, I got to go introduce them.

Speaker 3 (03:13):
Now.

Speaker 6 (03:13):
I will say the sound set up at SeaWorld, it's
the it's concerts by the Bay or at the Bay.
I guess is what it is.

Speaker 7 (03:21):
Uh.

Speaker 6 (03:22):
It sounds so good. My mind was blown about how
how good this sounded. I was also at Petco Park
last night. SeaWorld had them trumped old.

Speaker 3 (03:33):
So a lot of people complain about the sound at
Petco Park when a concert's being played that you just
you can't hear the performer very clearly from certain seats.
There are certain seats like if you're like walking around
the concert concourse at a concert and you go down
a little bit you can hear better from but it's weird.
It's like if you're at the wrong angle. But I

(03:55):
guess there's no bad seat in the house at the
Orca Park. No, no, no, So it's it's where they
had the and I don't. I guess it's dating myself.

Speaker 6 (04:03):
I was talking to the SeaWorld people as we're sitting
in the stadium and I said, is this where they
had the bay Watch show? And she's like, I have
no idea, And then about two minutes later she had
googled it and said.

Speaker 2 (04:14):
Yeah, it is. This is where they had the Baywatch show.
Watch there was, there was a bay Watch stunt show.
It was awesome. So bring that back SeaWorld back in
the day and the bay Watch dunt show.

Speaker 3 (04:27):
Right, we're just like a special guest. Oh yeah, yeah,
I don't.

Speaker 2 (04:33):
I don't think she ever showed up there, but I
will say, was she in the crowd for Saliva though
I believe she may have been Saliva rocked. I mean,
I was kind of mind blowing about how good they
were and the fact that you can buy a ticket
to Sea World you go hang out a seat world
and then just go see a concert and get down
with the sickness and get down well close, yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:54):
I start shouting out click click boom. Yeah, yeah, that's
the one.

Speaker 6 (04:59):
That's the one. It's pretty cool. I mean that's off
the SeaWorld. We stayed for the Drone Show, which is
also pretty incredible.

Speaker 3 (05:06):
Well, TD, you.

Speaker 5 (05:07):
Were there all day. The Drone Show is that at
like eight or nine.

Speaker 6 (05:10):
It's at eight forty five, and they shut the place
down with it, and it was really neat.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
It was really neat. But yeah, I put in the Workcat. Anyway,
you can see the Drone Show from like your neighborhood.

Speaker 5 (05:19):
Oh yeah, I know, because I think I watched.

Speaker 1 (05:21):
It from your neighborhood when I was on your street.

Speaker 3 (05:23):
Wow stalking rich Yeah no, yeah, Cat is always on
my street. Now we see her and her cousin drive
by like three times a day.

Speaker 7 (05:31):
Now that they've learned where I live, like for sure,
for sure, No, now that you've learned that we know
where you Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's right. That's exactly right.

Speaker 3 (05:42):
When you drive a red Toyota, all you see is
red Toyota. Is when you meet your stalkers. All you
see is your stalkers. It's nice. That's nicely on a
sign or something. Putting my trash hands out at like
four point thirty in the morning.

Speaker 7 (05:55):
This where I was like, hey, yeah, can you imagine
if you.

Speaker 5 (06:02):
See our beady eyes from across the street like a racket.

Speaker 1 (06:05):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (06:07):
I put my flashlight on a bush too, just a
run scatter.

Speaker 3 (06:11):
Yeah he caught us. Well anyways, TD, thank you for
the update. Plus SeaWorld, they're doing these bayside band bruise
and BBQ Yeah samplers.

Speaker 2 (06:22):
This goes on until September seventh, So you can buy
these these these little name tag what do you call it?

Speaker 6 (06:28):
Lanyards Nick, and then you walk around. You can sample barbecue.
I sampled a lot of barbecue. You can also sample bruise.
I mean they're pouring beer. Oh so I mean like
I got the ten pack. You can buy a five
to one and a ten one, so you can have
five tastings or ten and.

Speaker 1 (06:43):
You could just go ten beers if you wanted to.
It's full beer. By the way, it's not just a
little it's a whole beer. It's a whole beer.

Speaker 3 (06:50):
You got a couple of unpunched punches on those here,
you might have steal them, have a couple of bruises
the bullus.

Speaker 6 (06:56):
Well, you know, I thought I'd just swing back by
SeaWorld after the show and just have a couple of bruce.

Speaker 5 (07:01):
When you have a couple of bruise with the boys,
you're talking about your son, the eight year.

Speaker 1 (07:05):
Old and ten year old. Yeah, yeah, I'll be taking
them down there. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (07:11):
You combined me to watch that. Yeah, you combined him.
That's a legal adult, all right.

Speaker 1 (07:17):
His figure its TD and fletch. We gotta do it.

Speaker 3 (07:21):
Long awaited, easily, always anticipated.

Speaker 1 (07:25):
It's the fletched Zone where fletched talk sports.

Speaker 3 (07:27):
Ladies and gentlemen emerging from a weekend of golf, questionable beverages,
and a neighborhood so smoky from the Sorrento fires it
looked like the gates of Hell had opened. Near the
eight oh five, He somehow made it back to us.
He spent the weekend swinging clubs, draining cocktails, and then

(07:47):
returned home to air quality that made every backyard look
like a Willie Nelson concert. His lungs are smoked, his
liver is negotiating surrender, and his golf handicap remains an
active crime.

Speaker 1 (08:00):
I'm seen even though he shot a ninety and felt.

Speaker 3 (08:02):
Good about it.

Speaker 1 (08:03):
Ninety six.

Speaker 3 (08:04):
Crack a window. Actually, don't crack a window, but do
raise a glass. This is the floodsher.

Speaker 2 (08:13):
Fletch talk sports. Well, the Padres aren't the only baseball
team from San Diego we're talking about today, because the
sweet Water Valley Little League twelve and under All Star
team from Bonita is gonna be representing the West Region
at the twenty twenty six Little League Baseball World Series Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
They punched their ticket by beating the snot out of
Hawaii eleven to three in the West Regional Championship. So

(08:36):
how about that congratulations? Than make that money, kids tail, That's.

Speaker 1 (08:42):
What I'm talking about. Cast him chicks. When we were
growing up. I don't know if this may have been too.

Speaker 2 (08:47):
Old or too young for you guys, I guess, but
when we were growing up playing Little League baseball, that
was the dream I've heard a little bit. Sorry, TD,
I just don't know that the Little League World Series
was even around when you were growing up.

Speaker 1 (08:56):
Yeah, we didn't have baseball in my days.

Speaker 3 (09:01):
All we had was wa anytime you anytime you felt
like a little competition.

Speaker 1 (09:08):
You called up Germany and you saw what they would do.
Congratulations in the sweet Water, you guys.

Speaker 2 (09:15):
Yeah, the Padres had a really nice weekend out in Cleveland,
winning two out of three games.

Speaker 1 (09:20):
Yesterday was the final game of the series.

Speaker 2 (09:21):
There was a three hour rain delay before the game
even got going, but that did not stop those Padres
who got out there and put on an awesome performance.
Back to back home runs at the second inning Luis
Renkeifo and Gavin holy Sheets.

Speaker 1 (09:33):
True story.

Speaker 2 (09:34):
That's the first time all season that the Padres have
had back to back home runs in a game all season,
all season up to this point. They had back to
back home runs for the first time this year. Yesterday.

Speaker 3 (09:44):
Oh my god, mid August. That's usually something that happens,
you know, mid April. Yeah, it should have happened earlier.
But good for them. You know, they're figuring this baseball
thing out, and it's just in time.

Speaker 2 (09:56):
They are playing their best baseball of the year right now. Man,
they are on fire, all right. Future Hall of Fame
pass rusher Von Miller who rich You played against it
sometimes a couple of times. The future Hall of Famer
won a Super Bowl MVP with who what.

Speaker 3 (10:09):
Team did he do that with? TD? I don't know.

Speaker 1 (10:12):
He's dead to me the Denver Broncos.

Speaker 2 (10:14):
But he has signed a new contracts right, he has
signed a one year deal with the Dallas Cowboys.

Speaker 3 (10:20):
Now.

Speaker 2 (10:20):
Von Miller went to high school in Texas. He played
college ball at Texas A and M. He's entering his
fifteenth season as a pro. He has more sacks than
any other active player. He is pumped up to be
joining the Dallas Cowboys, the team he always wanted to join.

Speaker 3 (10:33):
TD.

Speaker 2 (10:33):
Broncos fan pissed off. Yeah, I don't like it at all.
I don't like it at all. I want to actually
get rid of my Von Miller jersey.

Speaker 3 (10:39):
Oh do you want.

Speaker 1 (10:41):
Him to retire a Broncos? That is that what's going on?

Speaker 3 (10:43):
I'm sure he will still just he's got a Cowboy
I would say, hold on to that because Miller's a
pretty common last name.

Speaker 1 (10:51):
You never know.

Speaker 3 (10:52):
Another Miller will get signed.

Speaker 1 (10:54):
So maybe next year you draft Justin Miller.

Speaker 3 (10:57):
Who knows. I can't wait.

Speaker 1 (10:58):
I can't wait, And just right he selects the same number.

Speaker 6 (11:01):
You really love Von Miller. I love Von Miller but
having a cowboys uniform.

Speaker 3 (11:05):
Yeah. Oh no, I'm with you von Miller because he
used to make me look like an idiot trying to
block him in the NFL.

Speaker 1 (11:14):
He's good and I wasn't as good.

Speaker 3 (11:17):
It's just a tip with Big Writch. Yes, it is
a little advice.

Speaker 1 (11:22):
I like to slide out your way.

Speaker 3 (11:24):
It's yours for the take and if you want it,
if not, push it back this way in a harm
no foul. It's just a tip with Big Rich And
here's the advice. It's how to revive somebody who's fainted
in front of you. Oh no, Now I had to
deal with this situation at the wedding I attended on Saturday. Uh.

Speaker 1 (11:40):
One of the groom's been fainted on the altar.

Speaker 3 (11:42):
Whoa, I feel like you see that in movies.

Speaker 1 (11:46):
Oh it was crazy too much, legs were locked too long.

Speaker 3 (11:49):
Yeah, so that's actually somebody gave him the tip because
he was feeling a little woozy before they walked up
to the altar. It was an outdoor wedding, so it
was fortunately in a grassy area. But he's standing up
there next to the bride and groom and he starts
like wobbling a little bit, and.

Speaker 1 (12:07):
You see him like during the ceremony, Yes, during.

Speaker 3 (12:10):
The ceremony, and I was I was seated on the
groom's side, so he was directly in front of me.
I was in the second row. And he comes down
and he's six foot six. He was a big man.
So I I'm.

Speaker 5 (12:21):
Like, no, one's kind of caught him all the way down,
No hit the.

Speaker 3 (12:25):
Ground, nobody knew he was going down. And he face planted.

Speaker 1 (12:28):
Oh mysh.

Speaker 3 (12:30):
So I run around the corner because he was gigantic.
I'm like, nobody's gonna be able to get this dude
off the ground. So I scooped my arms underneath his
chest and I just got a tug and lift him up.
And somebody grabbed a seat from behind me.

Speaker 2 (12:42):
So I just sort of swung him around like a
limb limit And now it's weekend at Bernie.

Speaker 3 (12:47):
Oh dude, he looked like like like one of those
limp wrestling dolls, sweet where his arms just flailed as
as I swung him around.

Speaker 1 (12:55):
You're supposed to do that.

Speaker 3 (12:56):
So that's where just a tip with Big Rich comes in,
because this is what you're supposed to do. Immediate first
aid with somebody faints because it was what I did.
So first, instead of scooping them off the ground and
going bellied it back suplex into a chair, lie them
flat on their back. Yes see, ye see if they're okay.
So after you do that, you elevate their legs, apparently

(13:18):
propping their feet about twelve inches up high. It starts
bringing the blood back down to their heart and it
gets like, you know, the brain reactivated a little more oxygen,
oxygenated blood flown through the system.

Speaker 1 (13:32):
You check their breathing.

Speaker 3 (13:33):
If they're wearing a tight collared shirt and a tie
like you was, you loosen that up. Give them a
little recovery time about ten minutes. Instead, what I did
is I set them in a chair. I'm not even
kidding you, like they do in old movies. I slapped
them a couple of times.

Speaker 2 (13:48):
Yeah, and then you did not got to you gotta
say his name?

Speaker 3 (13:52):
Yeah, yeah, yeah. I didn't know his name, and so
I guess im with Kyle, Are you with us? Kyle?
He's like, who's going.

Speaker 1 (14:01):
I'm like, he's fine, guy, he's fine.

Speaker 3 (14:03):
I ran I got him water from the bar, and
as I was walking back, I kid you not the
thought in my mind was she could have made a
mixed drink because she added ice to this. Oh god,
I'm like, I.

Speaker 1 (14:16):
Really hope this isn't vodka. I'm bringing this this guy.
She took the time to put ice in the water.

Speaker 3 (14:22):
Yeah, picture like, oh my god, he's he's down. Somebody
make a mohito.

Speaker 2 (14:30):
Wasn't there some pre wedding night before drinking oh dude
and leading up to the wedding.

Speaker 3 (14:35):
So later on I find out I was loosing. First
of all, his name's Austin. He's fine now, It's first
time he's ever fainted. And apparently the groom's been ordered
an extra thirty rack of.

Speaker 1 (14:46):
Banquet beers to the to the room they were getting dressed.

Speaker 6 (14:50):
What you should have done is when he hit the ground,
you should have run up there to help. But helping
should have been taking off the bow tie, putting it
on you, throwing the jacket on, and just taking a
boot and kicking him out of the way, and like,
let's keep this thing going.

Speaker 3 (15:01):
Just take Hey, it's the next man up mentality. I
just wanted to get out there and give one hundred
and ten percent. I knew the wedding I had to
go on and uh yeah, no, Ben needed me, and
I'm glad we got the job done for him, one
on one, five KGB. We have a four pack of
SeaWorld tickets coming up in less than thirty minutes now,
so keep your ears out for those who will give

(15:22):
you the queue to call soon. In the interim, we
have to talk about a wonderful and generous gift that
was bestowed upon one of us that has yet to
be used, not even one time so far. TD. As
a welcome back president for Kat, you gave her a
Netflix gift card for a subscription.

Speaker 1 (15:44):
She has still never bought it. Pretty close.

Speaker 6 (15:46):
She was out, she was out battling cancer, doing the
good fights, so she wasn't here. So I thought, well,
while you're at home recovering, why not watch the Netflix.

Speaker 2 (15:55):
So this was your birthday and I sent a Netflix
gift card. This is actually worse than I thought. So
you went out of your way to say Cat a
birthday present.

Speaker 3 (16:03):
She's homesick and you you gave her a Netflix subscription
and instead of using it? Have you even you?

Speaker 1 (16:11):
Do you know where the gift card is?

Speaker 3 (16:13):
Cat?

Speaker 1 (16:13):
It lies in my text messages?

Speaker 3 (16:15):
Okay, Oh oh, so it's a virtual gift card digital
gift card.

Speaker 1 (16:19):
Are you going to regift it?

Speaker 2 (16:21):
No?

Speaker 5 (16:21):
No, no, I'm going to activate it. I just haven't
had the time to watch Netflix yet.

Speaker 3 (16:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (16:26):
Yeah, that's all you've You've been here for two months.

Speaker 1 (16:33):
You you were home, Yeah.

Speaker 3 (16:34):
You're not. Only were you not working, you weren't even
allowed to work. They took away your email.

Speaker 7 (16:39):
I know.

Speaker 3 (16:40):
I was so busy somehow though you.

Speaker 2 (16:42):
Weren't in bed. You had like four days where you
said you could not get out of it.

Speaker 5 (16:45):
I know, but those were the days that I was
watching The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. It got really
into that show. But that's that's done in a day.

Speaker 1 (16:53):
I finished it about a week.

Speaker 3 (16:54):
Yet it sort of week feel like you should regift it.
And I would love that gift card.

Speaker 5 (17:02):
Some things.

Speaker 1 (17:03):
Lately I've been turning on the old Tube and watching it.
Yeah yeah, he told us.

Speaker 5 (17:07):
Yeah, last week I watched Mary Kaine Ashley Olsen classic
It takes two.

Speaker 1 (17:13):
Okay, what and then how do you even find that?
Where do you?

Speaker 5 (17:17):
The Roku channel served it up for me. It was
like a suggested watch.

Speaker 6 (17:20):
Is this some free channel that's just built into your television?

Speaker 3 (17:23):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (17:23):
Yeah, yeah, I know the Roku channel. Okay, now I
know the Roku channel. I don't know the Roku channel.

Speaker 8 (17:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (17:29):
I was gonna say, first of all, yes, I only
owned Roku TVs because we bought a Roku and and
now we have the remotes. I'm like, so we're pocumitted.
I don't want to have a different remote for a
different TV like Roku. But that's the first time you
pronounce it correctly because the emphasis you were putting on Roku.

Speaker 5 (17:48):
Roku channel still doing when you say channel with it,
it just sounds better Roku channel.

Speaker 1 (17:53):
Okay, So what were you watching? Watching It Takes It
Takes Too. That came That was last week. I came
out in nineteen ninety five, and.

Speaker 3 (17:58):
You know it's crazy. So I I watched it.

Speaker 1 (18:01):
That's not the crazy part, guys.

Speaker 5 (18:04):
Somebody sent me then, like an ad that what's like
the rooftop cinema that they do is at the Grand Highot.

Speaker 3 (18:10):
Oh yeah, yeah, they airing It Takes two right now?

Speaker 5 (18:14):
What?

Speaker 3 (18:14):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (18:15):
So maybe they're also watching the Roue channel. Maybe that's
how they stream their movies. It's probably over the weekend.
I turned on my TV on Saturday and I'm like,
I hate picking out what movie to watch right, Like,
movies just aren't my thing. I don't ever know what
to select. So the Roku channel again was about this,
and it was Sleepless in Seattle, which I have.

Speaker 3 (18:38):
Not watched somehow. God, that's a great movie to have
a little McDonald. I loved it.

Speaker 1 (18:45):
It was good, cute movie.

Speaker 3 (18:47):
You should a big man.

Speaker 1 (18:50):
He yells at his son a lot in that movies.

Speaker 3 (18:52):
Oh yeah, me too.

Speaker 1 (18:53):
So come out in nineteen ninety three. Yeah, nineteen ninety three,
like Tom makes when he was young.

Speaker 3 (19:00):
Sounds like me.

Speaker 1 (19:00):
I was in Seattle this week and didn't sleep a wink.

Speaker 3 (19:03):
Speaking of Seattle, though, I came back to San Diego
and at the airport I did something that TD does
on an often basis, and I hated myself for it.

Speaker 1 (19:12):
Next so I did it. I I Karen Starbucks.

Speaker 3 (19:17):
Oh whoa what what? What? Wo?

Speaker 1 (19:18):
What? You're putting that on.

Speaker 3 (19:20):
Me right now? I So we talked about this last week,
and TD, you had admitted that you'll ask Starbucks or
or really you know, any place that screws up your order,
you will go right back to the to the front
and be like you need to fix this. Yeah, And
we were teasing you for being a Karen. Okay, And
here's the reality. I don't I don't do this, Like

(19:43):
I rarely go and ask somebody correct an order unless
it's horribly wrong, unless it's like, I mean, you didn't
even get it. Like, you know, if you ask for
a coffee in the handy an iced tea, I'd be like, oh,
clearly you gave me somebody else's. But like if they
kind of have a near miss with my coffee order,
I usually just I don't care. Here, here's here's what
happened though, And he's with me and so and orders

(20:07):
the most elaborate Starbucks drinks. I mean, the the the
number of words that I had to say in sequence
to the person at the front desk. I was like,
I mean, there's no chance, there is absolutely no chance.
I was the girl who I gave Anne's drink order
to looked at me like, now we're in this together.
I'm the accomplice.

Speaker 1 (20:25):
I'm like, yeah, you got You're gonna screw it up, right.

Speaker 2 (20:27):
I never understand this though you are literally giving them
the recipe.

Speaker 3 (20:31):
Yes, you're here handing it to them. So it was
a I'm going to try to remember off the top
of my head. But it was like a mango strawberry
energy refresher. Please hold the lemonade, only use water, So
no lemonade, just water in that so no unsweetened.

Speaker 1 (20:48):
I guess it seemed difficult and sweet, but no lemonade
at the moment.

Speaker 3 (20:52):
Whatever it is. And so I and there were a
couple more words after that.

Speaker 1 (20:56):
So I said, and that's the order? Do you got it?

Speaker 3 (20:59):
And she was like, oh yeah, And I'm like, okay, great,
And so I walk over. I get a latte and
I'm waiting for Ann's drink and it's taking time, and
finally it comes out and I'm just looking at it.
I'm like, there are not enough words on the side
of my cup. I know for a fact that's wrong.
So I pick it up and I show it to An.
I'm like, is this it? And she was like it's

(21:20):
not even the right collar. I was like, right, that's
what I thought. Hey, guys, like we really miss on
this one. But as I'm trying to say it, another
dude comes walking up and he gives he gives them
like the true TV business, Like I said, brown sugar
cold foam, oh yeah, and like the people there were like,
oh god, sorry, sir, and he was like, yeah, there

(21:40):
is no cold foam in this, and he like threw
it in someone's face.

Speaker 1 (21:44):
No, I'm kidding, That's how I do it.

Speaker 2 (21:46):
Yeah, I'll wheeled it back like a baseball.

Speaker 1 (21:50):
And just then so they took back this guy's drinking.

Speaker 3 (21:53):
I'm like, oh no, now I'm second in line doing
the same thing. I'm like, hey, I'm doing it like
like how like Woody Allan would do. I'm like, you know, the.

Speaker 9 (22:01):
Drink it's you know, it's it's not quite the flavor
you know if you could, Yeah, you know, the lid
is a little loose, and I'm worried about the dragon
fruit because I did say mango.

Speaker 3 (22:11):
And so they're like, uh, you want a different drink.
I'm like, well, I want the drink that I ordered.
I was like that she ordered because if I don't
get her the right drink, I have to sleep in
the same rum as ear later and she may stab me.
So could you please fix this stupid drink? So I
hand it back to them. They're like, what did you order?
And I was like I gave them seventeen words, like
the owner said, and they're like, oh, so you didn't

(22:33):
order a dragonfruit refresher. I'm like, well, so you said
three words, and I was I said seventeen words to you.
I was like, so you gotta add, like, I don't know,
ten more recipe items to whatever that drink is. I
was like, otherwise she's gonna kill me. So please get
this right. And so the whole time I'm thinking about this,

(22:53):
and I don't know how this doesn't cross your mind
td all, I was thinking, they're gonna screw with this drink.
These are.

Speaker 6 (23:01):
No I keep eyes on them, yeah, because if they well, so,
if you're one were hot and that drink cup gets
turned upside down, that's gonna be decaf. So you gotta
you gotta stop them right there telling you a little
little little trick of the tray there.

Speaker 1 (23:14):
They turned it upside down to signal I'm telling you.

Speaker 2 (23:17):
I'm telling you, but I mean, I've never I've never
really seen a mass with it, Okay, And I'm just.

Speaker 1 (23:21):
Saying I keep eyes on Well, So I did look.

Speaker 3 (23:24):
They looked stressed, and I realized there was like nine
refreshers that were just sitting in the area where people
are supposed to pick up drinks. I think the refresher
lady was having a hard time, or maybe you picked
up the wrong drink.

Speaker 1 (23:36):
No it didn't. It said my name on it. Most
of the time, I just asked if I can go
back there and do it myself.

Speaker 3 (23:41):
He did not. Sea World tickets and trending with TD
just around the corner here. But before we get to that,
I have a little bit of a conspiracy theory. Now, Fletch,
you had just brought up to your brother Alex. You
had some trouble traveling.

Speaker 2 (23:58):
Horrible night, was stuck in Michigan, having to redirect all
of his flights, ended up having to fly to San
Francisco to rent a car to drive back to Fresnoez.
Which is what I had to do last weekend, flying
into La instead of San Diego, running a car in La,
driving back down.

Speaker 3 (24:13):
You came in from Europe. He was flying back to
the West Coast from Michigan. Correct, So it's okay, I
had a canceled flight. We actually had book flights these
coast would end up taking the trip and the airline
canceled it for us because of like whether it was
an act of God, like they were just like, you

(24:33):
can't fly at this time, So we're just going to
cancel a fly and I'm like, well, that's awfully convenient,
thank you for that. We were going to cancel those anyways,
but it would have inconvenienced us if we're going on
this trip.

Speaker 1 (24:42):
So you think about that. I have a conspiracy theory.

Speaker 3 (24:45):
I think that service industries that are ran by corporations,
they are going to make things a little bit more
difficult for us. It's gonna be in subtle ways. It's
gonna be longer way times or delays if you're going
or an airport. It's going to be you know, worst
service at the drive through windows somehow, or things not

(25:05):
being available right now. And then everybody's gonna flip the
switch to go full blown AI for certain parts of
the service business that or the enterprise that they run,
and all of a sudden, everything's going to go so
much smoother, and they're going to blame the human capital
they once were using and switching to AI, which is
obviously far more cheap, is the reason why it's all

(25:26):
fixed now. But I think they are self sabotaging on purpose.
They're tanking.

Speaker 5 (25:32):
You think they're sagging a thank you, that's the word
I was looking for.

Speaker 3 (25:35):
They're sandbagging us.

Speaker 6 (25:37):
So because there's pushback on AI at the moment, they
just make things so bad and then they implement AI
and things are better.

Speaker 3 (25:44):
We'll be happy or AI overlord saved us. That's the
reason why your flights are on time.

Speaker 6 (25:48):
Now I'm gonna say right now, let's say that AI
is implemented at whatever. A juice place or a smoothie
place will aid.

Speaker 1 (25:59):
Maybe a coffee place, yes, coffee places.

Speaker 6 (26:00):
Well, the AI person have to swing that screen around
for me to then ask or ask me if I
want to tip? Or dos that go away once AI
is running it, because if all of a sudden that
goes away, I'm.

Speaker 1 (26:13):
W move to Europe TD.

Speaker 3 (26:16):
They don't tip there, yeah, yeah I heard. Do they
pay more there?

Speaker 1 (26:19):
No, it's kind of crazy.

Speaker 2 (26:20):
Actually, I thought restaurant prices were cheaper and you don't
tip unless you want to.

Speaker 1 (26:24):
Oh my god, one thing they figured out.

Speaker 3 (26:26):
That they got it.

Speaker 1 (26:27):
But also, the waiters are so happy in Europe, like
it seems like they're living better.

Speaker 3 (26:31):
It can't be right crazy. I think it's because the
beaches are topless. Yeah, that's got to be it. We
have a topless beach here too. Yeah, but nobody goes.
Guys are still upsets.

Speaker 1 (26:40):
Isn't there a big hike to get through it? Though
there is a bit of a time.

Speaker 3 (26:43):
Yeah, don't never going to be there spring a hammy
trying to see a nipple? No, thank you.

Speaker 2 (26:50):
One trending with TD that's pretty sad story here.

Speaker 6 (26:55):
Hayden Panetary, best known for roles in Heroes and Nashville,
died yesterday the age of thirty six. The cause of
death has not been released, but responding paramedics did say
she suffered cardiac arrest after being a fear of overdose.

Speaker 3 (27:10):
That's according to nine to one one dispatch audio.

Speaker 5 (27:13):
So ash Yeah that news really, I don't know why
it shocked me so much, but she I mean I
was watching interviews that she did with Jay Shetty, you know,
that big podcaster, just a couple.

Speaker 1 (27:24):
Of months ago.

Speaker 3 (27:25):
Nobody in this room. I unfortunately, I'm very sad that
she died at thirty six. But I unfortunately I have
almost no idea who hate him? Panitaria? Is I remember
Beth Cooper?

Speaker 1 (27:36):
Oh yeah, that she was in that she was great.
I didn't see that.

Speaker 3 (27:40):
I haven't seen Heroes.

Speaker 1 (27:41):
I didn't see I saw the original Bring It On.

Speaker 3 (27:43):
I didn't see the new one Original Bringing.

Speaker 1 (27:45):
Honestly, I didn't see Sick.

Speaker 3 (27:46):
Any of the new screams that she was in. I
didn't see anything she was in other than Daughter and
remember the Titan. Remember the Titans. She played the little
cute blonde ten year old or nine year old when
they filmed the movie in the late nineties, like she
she was in that.

Speaker 2 (28:00):
That's the only thing I've ever seen her. She was
the cheerleader in Heroes. That's where I knew her from,
and she was great in it. But she it did
hit kind of hard.

Speaker 5 (28:08):
But yeah, really, she's had a really troubled last decade.

Speaker 1 (28:11):
I would say, Charles.

Speaker 5 (28:12):
Stars Man, postpartum depression and substance abuse.

Speaker 1 (28:16):
So yeah, she just put out a memoir in May.

Speaker 3 (28:18):
Super rough, super rough, So we'll move on.

Speaker 6 (28:21):
A brushfire did break out yesterday in Seramo Valley yesterday
grew to one hundred and thirty one acres. Firefighters, I guess,
are about twenty five percent containment. Now, that's what officials
are saying. That's of this morning. All that evacuation warnings
have been dropped, but there is still one evacuation order
that remains in place. Cause of the fire remains undetermined,
but it was a smoky, smoky afternoon.

Speaker 3 (28:43):
Yeah, it worries me in some of these like wooded
areas and and look, I mean, like there's no question
about it, Like homelessness is a problem in San Diego.
But anytime I see like tents that look semi permanent
up in heavily wooded areas or dry brush areas, the
first thing I think about is, like, all it takes
is one camp fire and this whole thing burns up.

Speaker 2 (29:06):
Fletch, you said it this morning. I mean, the fire
crews have been on any fire that has broken out. Yeah,
have you seen some of the video from the Ramona
Firebase when they get.

Speaker 6 (29:14):
The call and go time? Now, Oh it's awesome video.
You got to see it. But they're doing a hell
of a job La Mesa. Yesterday, if anybody was walking
around after like four o'clock, you couldn't breathe.

Speaker 3 (29:25):
Oky mane man.

Speaker 2 (29:26):
On the way home yesterday we went to go to
the concert down at Petco Park last night. On the
way home, driving right by the station.

Speaker 3 (29:32):
Here, it was smoky. Oh wow, I didn't have any smoking.
Costal Coastal PB North Park was saying this morning, no
smoke over by us.

Speaker 1 (29:40):
All crazy D twenty three. You guys know what that is? Well, yeah,
Disney releasing all their new stuff.

Speaker 6 (29:45):
Yeah yeah, like the comic Con for Disney essentially, it's
been going on over the weekend. Well, uh, they announced
it Pirates of the Caribbean six. Johnny Depp is in
Topslins Go.

Speaker 2 (29:57):
Remember when they said they would never do anything with
the never again and they said and then they lost
a bunch of money and you know he's back right Yeah.

Speaker 6 (30:05):
Well they said he was nuts, which I at a
little kind of nuts, but his now ex wife I
think is crazy.

Speaker 3 (30:12):
Oh no, no, yeah, that's what happened. They went to
a public trial and everyone like, no, no, as it
turns out she's nuts. Yeah. So that that Amber heard
Johnny depp trout, I think exonerated him completely.

Speaker 2 (30:25):
At the moment where he said there was species in
the bed, the funniest live TV moments.

Speaker 1 (30:32):
And dropped a grumpy on my pillow.

Speaker 2 (30:34):
That was the line that was and they made him
repeat it and he's like, she uh pooped in the bed,
she deffecated old mud pillow.

Speaker 3 (30:45):
No way, why would you do that?

Speaker 2 (30:48):
By the way, she's nuts, cat, She's nuts And by
the way, funny joke.

Speaker 1 (30:53):
If you guys have ever tried that at home?

Speaker 3 (30:55):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'll tell you what spouses love that?
What rank? What a gag? Well, I will say this
no easy segues in radio. If you want to have
a fun time this weekend, She's gonna be on this stage.

(31:16):
Would you leave? Yes, yeah, immediately unless you're with me
and Flesh, Yes, but yeah, Kat's gonna be at the
Orchest stage. Welcoming on. It's Uncle Cracker, right, it's coming up.
We yeah, uh, but we are sending you to SeaWorld, SeaWorld,
San Diego's Baseide Bands, Bruise and bbq's Smoky Bbq. It's

(31:37):
happening now. You could get your hand on Craft Bruise
live concerts for example featuring Uncle Cracker.

Speaker 1 (31:43):
Skillet's still to come this summer.

Speaker 3 (31:45):
Plus they're gonna have an all new nighttime Animal Experience
and a Drone Spectacular eight A eight five seven oh
one O one five four pack of tickets coming your
way to call her ten. It's a pretty consistent now
that this has been happening over the time that we've
known her. But kat, you do things that I would never, ever,
ever ever sign up for. What do you mean on

(32:07):
a near consistent basis. I'll give you a perfect example
of what I mean. You said you went to the
zoo this weekend and watched a DJ play.

Speaker 1 (32:17):
Well, those are two separate events.

Speaker 3 (32:19):
Oh okay, you sent us a text last night and
you say this was so fun, and I thought it
was all one thing.

Speaker 5 (32:25):
No, no, no, So first I went, well, I recently
became a member of our San Diego Zoo, but I
only got the weekday limited past because the one that
covers all the weekends is more expensive and I don't
want to go on the weekend anyway.

Speaker 3 (32:37):
It's it's literally a zoo. It's literally a zoo. Hell,
you won't even sign up for Netflix, and you've been
given a gift card, so it does not shock me
you got the limit. Went.

Speaker 5 (32:46):
I went on Friday afternoon after work just to like,
you know, get some steps in, see a bear, see
an elephant, and then went over to Golden Hill Park
where there's this DJ that's been doing pop up DJ
sets every Friday night.

Speaker 3 (33:00):
Yeah, yeah, that sounds like my nightmare. Yeah, the zoo
actually sounded lovely TD. Have you been to the zoo recently? No,
we went to the Safari Park Bactually that was fun.
Yeah yeah, oh yeah yeah no that so that counts.
Yeah yeah, what was that in the past six months?

Speaker 5 (33:14):
So yes, Okay, Well, the DJ sets that I've been
going on a Golden Hill park are a little bit
of a nightmare because I mean it's the guy literally
is on the news talking about this DJ set pop
up that he's having, and so I mean there were
it felt.

Speaker 3 (33:27):
Like thousands of people there.

Speaker 5 (33:29):
Nod I just take the back way around because the
traffic was so bad getting into Golden Hill.

Speaker 3 (33:33):
Have you recently gone to a DJ set Golden Hill?
I have not.

Speaker 1 (33:39):
I have not done that.

Speaker 6 (33:39):
I don't even know why I would want to go
watch a DJ.

Speaker 5 (33:43):
Well, I actually never even saw a DT. I was
so far away, but I just.

Speaker 1 (33:47):
There was so many people there.

Speaker 3 (33:48):
There was I mean, there were probably a thousand people.
I'm not even I'm not even exact. Were you actually
on a hill? Yeah yeah yeah, oh so it is
a hill. Ok So it's almost like Kate Scisions Park kind.

Speaker 10 (33:59):
Of met it's a lot smaller. It is the grass
dead or something. No, what do you mean is it
golden I don't know why Golden Mill is called Golden Hill.

Speaker 3 (34:11):
So so it's an outdoor DJ set. You didn't get
to actually see the DJ. You were just aware there
was music being paid.

Speaker 5 (34:17):
I went, you know, my sister and my brother in
law came. When we just posted up, I brought up
Paint by Numbers and I got somewhere. I've been working
on this Paint by Numbers for several DJA sets in
a row.

Speaker 3 (34:28):
Now, this Paint by Numbers is so intricate. You need
to get different friends or different hobbies. You the whole sound.
You're not You're misusing your time.

Speaker 5 (34:37):
I thought it was very fun. I'm almost done with
my Paint by Numbers.

Speaker 2 (34:41):
You left your home to a DJ set and you
brought the Paint by Numbers paint brushes, yeah, paint.

Speaker 1 (34:50):
Yeah, it's just a little set and a way to
then clean the brushes. No, I didn't bring it.

Speaker 5 (34:55):
I just put the the the painting brushes right back
in the container.

Speaker 3 (35:00):
I I really I want I want to know like
and you enjoyed all this?

Speaker 5 (35:06):
Yeah, that was awesome and it was relaxing it so
I will say my back hurt a bit though trying
to paint on the side of a hill is pretty hard.

Speaker 1 (35:16):
Yeah, I mean you left your home with all the
paintings something.

Speaker 3 (35:19):
You know what I'm I'm gonna I'm gonna have. You're
gonna start watching my kids for me. You need you
need more things, You need more things to do.

Speaker 1 (35:29):
No, no, you're not busy enough.

Speaker 3 (35:31):
If you have time for that, it's big rich TD
and Fletch, we just had a loud argument in studio.
We told Kat that she's wasting your time painting at
the park and now she's pissed.

Speaker 5 (35:40):
Yeah, because you guys will, especially you Rich TD and Fletch.
I would say the two of you are out of it.
Rich I think you are jealous that I get to
enjoy my time and enjoy a Friday evening because I
don't have kids, and you want to throw those burdens
on me.

Speaker 3 (35:57):
No, no, no, those kids, those kids are the greatst
gift I ever received in this world, and they have
filled my life with so much joy.

Speaker 1 (36:05):
But also they you You, what you.

Speaker 3 (36:08):
Do is you selflessly give yourself to somebody else, holly
and completely. You dump all your energy into them so
that they can have a better life. And it's the
most edifying experience you'll ever live. And so the tired
you feel at the end of the day, if you're
doing that correctly, is the type of tired that like
you'll never understand until you do it.

Speaker 1 (36:29):
And so what I'm saying is, well, and that's great
for you.

Speaker 5 (36:32):
I'm glad that I'm glad that you have that and
that fulfills you. I personally have not found somebody to
have me.

Speaker 8 (36:38):
No, no, no, you can have out give fact will
me and TD will give you, will give you both
of our all of.

Speaker 5 (36:52):
Our en that he can take your kids and watch
your kids.

Speaker 3 (36:55):
But they still need supervision. Yeah, yeah, your kids are adults, TD.

Speaker 6 (36:59):
But they require they require more now in adulthood, I
mean very very expensive to have adult children.

Speaker 5 (37:07):
That turns out, listen to what you're saying, Rich, you
want to give me your kids so that you can
have a night off so you can go painted a part?

Speaker 3 (37:12):
No, no, I wouldn't. But see that's the thing, what'd
you do?

Speaker 1 (37:16):
What would you do if you didn't have your kids?

Speaker 3 (37:17):
So what you would not go paint? Apart? Yeah, what
you're doing is you're missing out on the simple things
in life. You're filling time is a simple thing about
Oh no, no, no, that's a very comfort That's a very
confusing and complex way to spend your time. To like
seek out a pop up DJ who's playing in some
park somewhere, and then to go find paint by colors
and then set up acrylic paints next to a blanket

(37:39):
and uncomfortably paint while somebody is playing music off an
iPod is a very complex way to spend time. You
know what I would do it free time. I'd eat
a meal unobstructed without somebody asking me questions, and I
would enjoy every bite.

Speaker 9 (37:53):
I would say to myself, oh my god, this is
what chicken daste like I would.

Speaker 6 (37:58):
I would just doom, scroll, watch YouTube. The office would
be on, I'd sit on the couch. You guys, see,
that's boring.

Speaker 5 (38:04):
I'm doing cool things with my time, cool things with
my life.

Speaker 3 (38:07):
I'm enjoyed word that you're combining two different things that
don't belong to you. Guys. You're like, oh, I'm gonna
go and listen to a DJ set and do paint
by colors. I'm gonna go skiing and also crocheting. It's bizarre.

Speaker 5 (38:22):
I'm not bored. I'm doing cool things that bring me joy.
What's so wrong with that?

Speaker 3 (38:28):
I'm gonna start toxes. I think people are so upset.

Speaker 6 (38:32):
I think people say they like to go to a
park and hang out, but they just do that just
to say they do.

Speaker 1 (38:40):
Yeah, I don't think that anyone really likes to do that.

Speaker 3 (38:42):
Why would you not, like you're being in nature? I
agree with you. I think people like to say they
do things and that they don't actually like to do,
so they could say they like to do that.

Speaker 5 (38:51):
I think that people like to say that they like
having a family sometimes.

Speaker 3 (38:55):
And both are true. By the way, both are true.
It's big rich TD and Fledged. Fletch has made new friends.
Fletch has made new friends. Fledge's made new friends.

Speaker 1 (39:11):
And he blamed it on us that he made new friends.

Speaker 2 (39:13):
Yeah, and then weird he had to make an announcement
for Yeah, he like walked in this morning.

Speaker 3 (39:18):
I mean, you know, it was so displeasing because it
was like four point thirty in the morning, We're all
getting together, everybody's still open their eyes, and he was like,
I made new friends because you guys don't like golf,
right right?

Speaker 2 (39:28):
That is literally what's happening. I've asked Rich and TD
and the cat. You've been involved in this two hundreds
of times over the years. To just play golf more.

Speaker 1 (39:36):
I don't know if you have.

Speaker 2 (39:38):
I don't know if that one hundred percent half yeah,
thousand percent. In fact, there was a day where we
had tea time sounds to go, Rich and I get
out to the golf course TV.

Speaker 3 (39:46):
He was like, oh God, stow up the work. Well,
hang on, hang on. He didn't show up that day
because it started raining on it was pouring ring which
by the way, power was in the forecast, and it
also was drizzling when we got there, and we still
did it like idiots.

Speaker 1 (40:02):
That was nice time. It actually was a lovely time.

Speaker 2 (40:05):
That was one time, one time, and then and then
maybe you've brought up hey we should go to Native
Oaks next weekend.

Speaker 3 (40:13):
You never did.

Speaker 1 (40:14):
That was the end.

Speaker 2 (40:15):
I'm down to golf whatever, and you guys are down
to golf never.

Speaker 1 (40:17):
Okay, So.

Speaker 6 (40:20):
Your invite is just I'm down to golf whenever, and
as soon as you invite me, then we'll go.

Speaker 5 (40:25):
Well why don't you ever invite him? You could also
make more place chat.

Speaker 3 (40:30):
That's a really rude thing you just did there. We
were all teaming up on Fletch, and you turned it
back around. I want we want you to be on
our team and team up on floor, right, Well, it
makes more fun.

Speaker 1 (40:39):
I'll go back to the other team a little bit here, Fletch.

Speaker 5 (40:41):
I think that you have, you know, more time for
golfing than Rich or TD half because both of them,
if they were to golf even once a week, which
is pretty often, their wives would not be happy that.

Speaker 2 (40:52):
It Isn't that a wonderful escape for you guys, great excuse.
I would be allowed to golf, but it'd have to
golf probably between maybe midnight and three am.

Speaker 3 (41:03):
Actually, yeah, that would fit for Ani's schedule as well,
because she has no use for me.

Speaker 1 (41:07):
Then that's correct, that's.

Speaker 3 (41:08):
Correct or or or or uh. We should all get
into fights with our spouses at the same exact time.

Speaker 2 (41:19):
And they kicked out of the house. We just go
and meet at the golf course. Yeah, and then we
show up five hours later kind of drunk. This is
gonna go over so well during an argument.

Speaker 5 (41:30):
Have you actually ever gotten kicked out of the house
any three of you?

Speaker 1 (41:33):
No?

Speaker 2 (41:34):
No, I mean actually, like I mean I have been
told that I have to leave for a few minutes.

Speaker 6 (41:41):
But I mean I'll go outside and do yard work
or something. But it's never like you're out of here.

Speaker 3 (41:46):
No, no, no, I've never been kicked out. Locking the doors.
Actually one time and locked the front door when we
got into a fight. I came in the side door.
She's like, I forgot to lock that. Well, he's got
a key. I forgot about that. Shredding with TD coming
up next and also Sea World tickets. We got a

(42:09):
four pack to give away one on one five kgb
trending with TD. Oh this is just in.

Speaker 6 (42:15):
Turns out that popular podcaster Jay Shetty.

Speaker 2 (42:19):
Has eighteen million fake followers. Incredible.

Speaker 5 (42:22):
I reference the j Shetty podcast earlier in the show,
and none of the three of you have ever heard
of him.

Speaker 3 (42:28):
He is a massive podcast.

Speaker 1 (42:29):
Sounds like a pretty Shetty podcast. That's what I thought,
That's what I thought.

Speaker 3 (42:33):
Nailed it.

Speaker 1 (42:35):
Your wives will know who he is. I feel like
most women listen.

Speaker 6 (42:37):
To I guarantee you, I guarantee you. I could put
a million dollars, one hundred million dollars.

Speaker 1 (42:45):
My wife has never heard of d I agree with him.

Speaker 3 (42:47):
Also double down, so two hundred million dollars on the line.

Speaker 1 (42:50):
Well, let's all send a text real quick and see
if they respond.

Speaker 3 (42:53):
This second's over, Annie uh sends me everything she follows
on Instagram. Oh hunt, and she's never sent him to
you one.

Speaker 6 (43:01):
This is kind of cool though. Live Nation today unveiled
some plans to transform the historic Wonderbread Building down by
Petco Park into a new four thousand capacity music venue,
so restoring a landmark property and closing a gap in
San Diego's market that is long left mid sized touring
artists without a downtown home.

Speaker 3 (43:20):
Guys.

Speaker 1 (43:20):
Yeah, well and it said it was going to be
four thousand people. Yeah, good capacity quotes about it.

Speaker 2 (43:28):
It's like to track how fasted hartist is soaring, like
when they're starting out. If they can fill that up,
then they're okay to do the next step.

Speaker 5 (43:36):
Okay, yeah, because there's not a lot between like a
House of Blues or the Observatory like that level, and
then it's like the next step up is Pachanga or Vieha.

Speaker 3 (43:45):
There's not a good mid.

Speaker 2 (43:46):
Level that's got to be twelve thousand. I think Viejas
goes to like fourteen for concerts.

Speaker 3 (43:52):
Yeah, yeah, fourteen. Pachanga is around twelve yeah, yeah, and
that's that's a lot of seats, and you got to
be in that round down there on the righting of floor.
Bendel has never heard of Jay Sheddy. Wow.

Speaker 2 (44:04):
Oh yeah, okay, I'm Sistan. Well, I have sent the message.
I have no reply as of yet.

Speaker 3 (44:08):
Oh yeah, I sent a message to and I realize
you just got me in trouble cap because this is
a time.

Speaker 1 (44:13):
When school drop off happens. I'm not allowed to contact
her during mass No, damn it.

Speaker 3 (44:18):
You gotta be like really really, Sebastian just threw up
in the back seat. If this is what you're sending
to me, apparently sitting Jay Sheddy right now, I feel
like she will, she'll.

Speaker 2 (44:30):
You may want to stay away from the beaches because
the stingrays they're coming for you. Stingray lashings are up
in San Diego and across actually all of southern California.
I guess nine hundred stings were recorded between the first
half of twenty twenty six, and that's more than the
first six months of any of the past five years.

Speaker 1 (44:49):
That's according to Lifeguard data.

Speaker 3 (44:50):
So they're coming for us.

Speaker 1 (44:51):
We got to fight back.

Speaker 3 (44:52):
Strais chance I'd ever get sung by stingray, because I
know what they do. They come up to you and
you're like, oh, hey, what's up wife? Oh turns out
costume pull it off, sting ray boom, tear its wings off,
rabbit sting lash it with its own stingray right through
the head, yead.

Speaker 1 (45:07):
At what point do you say this is for Irwin?

Speaker 3 (45:09):
Yeah? Yeah, Steve, Yeah, see Steve not mindy Mindy still
live and well but Steve.

Speaker 1 (45:15):
What's the what's the son's name?

Speaker 3 (45:17):
Robert?

Speaker 7 (45:17):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (45:17):
Yeah, he was just on did he win Dancing with
the Stars. That's not bindyhdydydy and Robert.

Speaker 3 (45:25):
Yeah, they were off by a letter naming her sounds
like a made up name. You know what's not made
up is you could actually see sting rays in the
wild more you could go to sea World much kinder.

Speaker 2 (45:35):
There you sounds like a poor transition now that I think.

Speaker 3 (45:37):
About it, Yeah, it does actually. So anyways, if you
want to, if you want to seek your revenge on stingrays,
we know where they're captive.

Speaker 5 (45:47):
Are you sure it stingrays, jellyfish, sting it's nine sting rays.

Speaker 3 (45:55):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (45:56):
If you're not doing the sting rays shuffle, you're gonna die.

Speaker 3 (45:59):
Yeah, do you know if you kind of move your
feet together and like you don't walk fast? All right? Anyways, guys,
we're sending you to SeaWorld with a four pack of tickets.
If you want to see Uncle Cracker this weekend, you
better call us at eight to a five seven oh
one one five. We got a four pack of tickets
for caller number ten. Could check out SeaWorld San Diego

(46:21):
dot com to grab your own tickets, or could win
them just by calling Big Rich TDM Fletch one on
one five KGB. We have officially been infiltrated, and a
huge congratulations to our SeaWorld ticket winners. We're gonna have
more of those coming up in the station day. We'll
tell you how to win those. But Waimo has officially
been approved in California, so you are going to see

(46:44):
waymos all over the street in San Diego. They've been
driver waimos for a long time now, probably for a year.
I've been seeing them around Pacific Beach and other parts
of San.

Speaker 2 (46:53):
Diego where there's a there's someone actually driving the Weymo vehicle.

Speaker 3 (46:57):
Either they're driving it or they're just sitting there in
front of the wheel while it's mapping the employee of Weymoth. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (47:04):
Now, as of this past weekend, San Diego and Sacramento
both got approved. They've already been in the Bay Area
and Los Angeles over the last couple of years. I
feel like Waimo's with passengers, But now I think starting
today you could get a Weimo in San Diego. They've
been in San Diego, but you had to have been
a Weimo employee to be able to get a ride one.

Speaker 1 (47:23):
I seen them yesterday.

Speaker 5 (47:25):
Actually I saw one in Hillcrest, and I saw one
in North Park the day before.

Speaker 3 (47:28):
On August fourteenth, so I guess it was Friday. A
couple of days ago. Waimo's were officially approved by the
California Public Utilities Commission to be allowed to operate in
San Diego.

Speaker 6 (47:41):
What would you rather do? A Weimo or a what's
the other one? That where's someone actually drives.

Speaker 2 (47:46):
Uber uber or a lyft or lyft doesn't act like
you had to think about what uber Lyft was.

Speaker 1 (47:51):
I did, I could not remember the name of it,
could not te probably doesn't take an uber or lyft.
I do my very best to never take an uber.

Speaker 3 (47:58):
I think that there are.

Speaker 5 (47:59):
Certain circle stances where without having a driver might be
kind of handy. Like I don't always like if you're
going to the airport, for example, I don't always like
an uber driver to pick you up from your from
where you live and then take you to the airport
and now they know that your place is going to.

Speaker 3 (48:16):
Be as you're out of town. I think about that.

Speaker 6 (48:17):
You know what popped into my head with this is
let's say you have a teenage daughter who was done
at school and needed a ride home yep, and you
get Waimo to take her home yep, coping to the back.

Speaker 3 (48:30):
Of this driver. Lest Well, yeah, here's the thing. Here's
the thing. So my sister in law, who was at
the wedding I went to over the weekend, she had
to get to the airport on her own because my
brother in law is in Florida right now. So she
left from La We left from San Diego, and it
was kind of like our little wolf pack going to

(48:51):
the wedding together. We picked her up at Sea Tac
and then we drove to the wedding site in Washington.
But she had to get to the airport on her own,
you know, And so she requested a female driver on
Uber to pick her up because she she doesn't like
to be in a car alone with a man because
you never know, like in.

Speaker 1 (49:09):
Her mind feature on lift.

Speaker 3 (49:11):
And so so she was like, she was like in
my mind, she was like, it just takes you know,
some of the warrior concern about being in a car
alone as a woman. And she's a small, like like
slight framed woman, Like, I mean, she's it's it's probably scary.
And so if I had a daughter, I probably would
prefer either a woman driver or a Weaimo to take

(49:34):
her home from school, for example.

Speaker 6 (49:36):
I think, just to myself, I'd probably rather have the Weimo.
I yes, I'd rather say, But then I also think
someone's gonna take control of this and drive me somewhere.

Speaker 3 (49:46):
All right.

Speaker 2 (49:46):
So we got complainting information here because the Internet says
Weimo has received permission to offer rides in Sacramento and
San Diego. I downloaded Waimo and it says San Diego
service is coming soon.

Speaker 3 (49:57):
Oh so maybe it's not.

Speaker 1 (49:58):
Ready to go. She requested approval.

Speaker 3 (50:02):
Well, approval doesn't necessarily mean that they're operational. I mean,
just because you have approval for something, it's kind of
like whatever. Like, you know, you're opening a restaurant. You know,
you could get your liquor license and be months from
actually opening the door and selling your first drink. So
maybe it'll be a couple of days, Maybe it'll be
a couple of weeks. Who knows, it could be a
couple of months. But one thing I do know is

(50:22):
when this starts, it's going to put a lot of
lift and Uber drivers out of jobs. Yeah, because people
will start going to way Mo. It's really it's confusing
because artificial intelligence has made certain things really really convenient.

Speaker 1 (50:38):
And then there's that aspect of it. But at what cost?

Speaker 3 (50:41):
And so I'm pretty worried about what's going to happen
to the economy in San Diego as a result of this.

Speaker 1 (50:46):
Hmm, Yeah, I don't like that part. Yeah, but I
mean I don't take lyft ruber either.

Speaker 3 (50:52):
They blow a lot of stop signs. I will say that. Yes,
the spoon that stirs the coffee is Kat for her
first Monday here Live on the Air in the morning
is back with us. Okay, so you joined the show
again on Tuesday. You actually made a special exception for me,

(51:12):
who I was absent on Monday. Huh, and so you
came in on Tuesday last week. How's your first Monday going?

Speaker 5 (51:18):
By the way, Well, I'm actually fasting today. I'm doing
a twenty four hour fast.

Speaker 3 (51:22):
I was going to say, you're moving pretty slow.

Speaker 5 (51:25):
And so I feel I don't know if I feel
great or terrible.

Speaker 1 (51:30):
That's a confusing thing to say.

Speaker 3 (51:32):
You're so I'm hungry. Wait you wait, You're feeling something,
but you're not sure if it's great or.

Speaker 1 (51:38):
Terrible, but or bad.

Speaker 5 (51:39):
Yeah, they say when you fast, which I've never done
a fast. I've never done a twenty four hour fast.
I'm trying to work my way up to eventually being
able to do a sebenty two hour fast.

Speaker 3 (51:46):
A three a half, Oh my gosh. She was like
a weird goal.

Speaker 5 (51:48):
But they say that you're supposed to feel very, very
great on day two and day three.

Speaker 1 (51:56):
Well, clearly not a day one, because you've been nothing
but mean.

Speaker 3 (51:58):
To us, like Rocoddle the toothing me.

Speaker 1 (52:04):
Pizza A six days for cats to get re sick
of us.

Speaker 3 (52:07):
You will know it took us.

Speaker 1 (52:08):
That's nice.

Speaker 5 (52:10):
Unfortunately, you know on a Monday, I but like you
guys are probably at home getting nice compliments from your
wives all week and long.

Speaker 3 (52:17):
Oh yeah, you've met them. Wait, they love you guys
so much.

Speaker 5 (52:22):
They're so kind and hearing and gentles three of you
that when I come in on Monday, you guys need.

Speaker 3 (52:26):
To get you need to get smacked.

Speaker 1 (52:29):
Around a little bit.

Speaker 11 (52:31):
Do you think flutches into that exactly? Do you think,
oh no, no, more spacks when we're when we're at home, cat,
Do you think our wives walk around and just compliment?

Speaker 3 (52:43):
Oh, they're probably so nice to you. Oh yeah, especially
on a travel weekend like I will. We got on
two flights this weekend and we went we had to
stay at a hotel room, like, nothing but good remarks for
Mandy the whole time.

Speaker 5 (52:57):
I'm sure she loves traveling with you and going wedding
with Oh yeah, actually she does.

Speaker 3 (53:02):
Like going to weddings on me. Because there were a
couple of times where she was snuggling on my arm.
I'm like, whoa, whoa, whoa, look at this, and then.

Speaker 1 (53:09):
I made some sort of offhanded remark.

Speaker 3 (53:11):
I got yelled at for her. But that's okay. I mean,
that's what what's part being a spouse is about, right
finding the person who you like to annoy for the
rest of my life.

Speaker 6 (53:19):
Why do you make that scrunchy face? Cat, It looks
like you just sucked on a lemon.

Speaker 3 (53:24):
I just I am reminded.

Speaker 1 (53:26):
Yeah, your wives probably hate you a little more than
I do.

Speaker 3 (53:28):
Oh, okay, she gets it. Happy Monday, Cat one on
one five kg. B Fletcher's brought up something very important.
I'm puzzled. What's that?

Speaker 1 (53:38):
Puzzled by what you just said? Go on, It's okay.

Speaker 3 (53:41):
Oh, I know what you're puzzled by. But Fletch brought
up the Avengers. Yeah, he said, listen, buddy, if you
and your kids are going to catch up on all
these movies, because I've seen pretty much all of the
Marvel movies that would help the Avengers Doomsday or.

Speaker 1 (53:57):
What is it called, yeah, Doomsday. But you have not
watched enough to get ready for this movie.

Speaker 3 (54:02):
I haven't.

Speaker 1 (54:03):
Maybe they don't even hardly understand it.

Speaker 2 (54:04):
All right, So Disney put out the official list at
D twenty three of what you need to watch to
get ready for Doomsday, which comes out December eighteenth, And
the easiest way to do it is if you pay
for Disney Plus. Well probably yeah, it's going all the
way back to the early two thousands, like the first
Hugh Jackman X Men movie. Well I watched that, so okay,
so x Men X two, the first two, which I
think those came out two thousand and two thousand and two.

(54:27):
But that's where they want you to watch to get
ready for this. Those are the first ones you need
to watch to get ready for this. And then it
skips to Captain America, the first Avenger, which is the
first Chris Evans saw that, okay, and then it's the
three Avengers movies, so Avengers, Affinity War an Endgame check check.

Speaker 1 (54:41):
And then it's the TV show Loki.

Speaker 3 (54:43):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (54:44):
I didn't watch it either.

Speaker 3 (54:45):
I need that.

Speaker 2 (54:45):
Yeah, I couldn't get into it me neither, but it
is very important for this next step.

Speaker 1 (54:50):
But to watch all of this just to see the
new Avengers.

Speaker 2 (54:54):
We're halfway through the list. Oh my god, Shane, she
did you guys watch that movie? Oh yeah, I actually
really really like I watch it on a plane. That
was The Ten Rings of That was great. It was
a fun movie. A lot of it was based in
the Bay Area.

Speaker 1 (55:06):
It was cool. Yeah, that was really fun.

Speaker 2 (55:07):
The Spider Man movie that has all three Spider Man's
no Way Home.

Speaker 1 (55:10):
Did you guys watch that one?

Speaker 12 (55:11):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (55:12):
Yeah, which it was okay, Black Panther Wakanda forever.

Speaker 3 (55:15):
I have not seen that.

Speaker 1 (55:17):
Wait was that the second one? Yes, the second one?

Speaker 3 (55:20):
I watched that one.

Speaker 2 (55:21):
Okay, Captain America, the one with Harrison Ford as the President.

Speaker 3 (55:25):
Yes, watched one he turned into Red Hull.

Speaker 2 (55:28):
And Wolverine, which is fantastic. Watched it Doctor Strange, the
Multiverse of Madness. Watched it Thunderbolts which is the New
Avengers with Florence Pugh. I did not like that, and
then fantastic for the new one, the First Steps that
has Pedro Pascalum. Yeah, so you got to watch all
those to get ready for December eighteenth, Rich, you and
your kids need to start tonight, okay. And plus that
first X Men movie got a raunchy you will have

(55:51):
some fun with him. Wait wait is that the one
with the blue girl? Yeah, I'm talking about that was
my first one.

Speaker 1 (55:57):
Yeah, okay, that's.

Speaker 3 (56:03):
Yeah, she still stay mos. Oh that's a good point.

Speaker 1 (56:06):
Just Rebecca Romayne let us. Yeah, then that'll give you
Samon Milla Wena stay away from that.

Speaker 3 (56:11):
Oh yeah, well you know what, and that's a shame
because that's the way I like my Caesar salad with
Romayne let us.

Speaker 2 (56:16):
So that's your list. It's only like twelve different movies
in one TV.

Speaker 5 (56:19):
Show to watch before worse worth of consuming all of
this tvdia.

Speaker 2 (56:24):
Now you just pack one or two days a week
to watch a movie or watch TV show and then
by the time December comes around you're.

Speaker 6 (56:29):
Ready to get at You kind of learn just to
buckle up. You sit down on a on a Saturday
morning and just start watching TV until work on my
that's how That's how you get from right now.

Speaker 2 (56:39):
Especially with football coming up, It's like Sunday is all
you do is watch TV.

Speaker 3 (56:43):
There is no chance I have time for all this.
I Am going to be busy listening to DJ S.
It's doing paint by color in the.

Speaker 1 (56:49):
Part you guys ridiculous.

Speaker 5 (56:53):
It's a good way to spend a Friday night, Yeah
for some.

Speaker 1 (56:57):
But clinically insane.

Speaker 3 (56:59):
All right, you need to repeat exactly what you just
said to us just a moment ago.

Speaker 1 (57:06):
How did you slam all these words together? What did
you just say? I'm in the market.

Speaker 5 (57:10):
I'm searching for a non toxic, natural fiber hiking pant.

Speaker 1 (57:14):
What a non toxic, ultra fiber, natural fire, like a
con or a wool. What is a hiking pant first
of all, a pant that you can hike in, and
maybe it would just be normal pants.

Speaker 5 (57:25):
No, you've got some like tactical pockets.

Speaker 1 (57:27):
You your mace, your mace, you got it.

Speaker 2 (57:32):
You got a taser holder, your mace holster, holst place
for my knife.

Speaker 5 (57:38):
May be embarrass spray depending on where you're hiking, dan
a holder.

Speaker 6 (57:42):
So so you're you want these for what exactly I'm
going hiking in a couple of weeks.

Speaker 5 (57:48):
And you know, over the last couple of years, I've
been trying to switch over from polyesters and nylons and
all these synthetics, natural fiberswing con and organic con and
you know, maybe wool.

Speaker 6 (58:01):
So you are on the hunt for this particular pant.
So it doesn't make you sick in some manner.

Speaker 5 (58:09):
Yeah, Well, it's because when you wear like a polyester pant,
like a like a Lululemon pant, right, there's microplastics, yes,
and when you're and when you're getting especially for active wear,
when you're getting sweaty and you're getting hot, it's like
microwaven plastic.

Speaker 1 (58:24):
You know, like all of that micro plastic will go
right into.

Speaker 3 (58:27):
Your microwave and all that fine meat. Yeah, but you
will go to t J and get botox.

Speaker 5 (58:34):
So is that gray area for me?

Speaker 3 (58:43):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (58:43):
Yeah, yeah, no, I agree with you.

Speaker 3 (58:46):
I would say, would I go hiking, I to like
a non toxic ultra continent natural Ye, sorry, hiking. The
Patagonia Calza.

Speaker 1 (58:58):
Rock pants are one hundred and fifteen.

Speaker 2 (59:00):
They're made of ninety three percent regenerative, organic certified cotton,
oh and seven percent spandex.

Speaker 1 (59:06):
Okay, will you send me the one spandex? Okay, most
of the.

Speaker 5 (59:10):
Time you're going to have maybe eight to ten percent.

Speaker 1 (59:13):
What is that vibrating?

Speaker 3 (59:14):
And that's pretty good.

Speaker 5 (59:15):
Spank probably vibrates at fifteen percent, which is like the
same vibration levels of a sick, dying body.

Speaker 3 (59:23):
Con vibrates at.

Speaker 10 (59:24):
One hundred wait, one hundred percent.

Speaker 1 (59:28):
I don't know that's what the frequency.

Speaker 5 (59:29):
Mega hurts maybe yes, and wool linen five thousand.

Speaker 13 (59:34):
Now, if it's actually healing to your body, if my
let's say my shirt, my cotton shirt, if it vibrated
at one hundred and one point five mega hurts, could
I hear it vibrating in my car.

Speaker 1 (59:48):
I trigged out something else in your car pants to
vibrate and much higher for you instead of a sick dying.

Speaker 5 (59:54):
I know, I know, it sounds kind of woo woo
and weird, but it's true.

Speaker 3 (59:59):
Looking at idea, I'm sure, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's why
I only wear wool as.

Speaker 5 (01:00:04):
Well, if you guys coming from the cancer pation, because
I need.

Speaker 3 (01:00:08):
The vibration one kgb trending with TD.

Speaker 2 (01:00:13):
Well, there's a couple of new proposals here in California
that could become.

Speaker 1 (01:00:16):
Laws I do.

Speaker 6 (01:00:18):
I do AB seventeen oh nine and AB two clear
the state Senate Appropriations Committee as of today, they could
reach Newsome's Governor Newsom's desk before the legislative's legislative session
ends on the thirty first of this month. AB seventeen
oh nine would prohibit social media platforms from offering addictive
features to users.

Speaker 1 (01:00:39):
Under the age of sixteen.

Speaker 6 (01:00:41):
AB two would allow parents and children to sue those
social media companies. Wow, if there are damages incurred.

Speaker 3 (01:00:49):
I think, unfortunately, I think that this is going to
be rules that limit our free speech that are being
snuck in as protecting our Benjamin Franklin said it best
when he said that those who give away freedom for
protection they deserve neither.

Speaker 1 (01:01:13):
Hmm, that's pretty deep, pretty deep, pretty deep.

Speaker 6 (01:01:16):
I mean, man, this whole social media is a wild,
wild place to be, especially for a kid.

Speaker 3 (01:01:24):
Well it is.

Speaker 5 (01:01:25):
It is addictive, and I think that it's it's too much,
like there's too much that kids can see on there,
there's no filter.

Speaker 6 (01:01:31):
I thought social media actually was banned for kids under sixteen.

Speaker 3 (01:01:34):
Well in Australia.

Speaker 2 (01:01:36):
Oh, the final group of teenagers who didn't have social media,
like of everything you did the day before was already
going to get posted. I feel bad that kids have
to go through it now.

Speaker 3 (01:01:46):
I agree.

Speaker 2 (01:01:47):
It's like if you do something dumb in high school,
it's living forever. You know how much dumb stuff I dido,
There's no way I have this job. I agreed, But
I said a sixty five thousand gallon fertilizer tank on fire,
I mean did well, yes, allegiated in high school, but
that you'd have been in jail.

Speaker 3 (01:02:05):
That was cool.

Speaker 1 (01:02:06):
Yeah, we set a lake on fire. See it was fun.
Also said, No, I don't think I ever said anything
on fire.

Speaker 3 (01:02:13):
No, but Cat did one time kick a sea lion,
but there was no one had a camera, but I
would still in defensive cat. I question what that sea
lion said to her first?

Speaker 1 (01:02:25):
Okay, sometimes they have potty mouse.

Speaker 6 (01:02:28):
A major news study published in Celle Reports.

Speaker 1 (01:02:32):
Medicine says that.

Speaker 2 (01:02:35):
I'm trying to see how this breaks down here that
a single three minute sprint workout changes seven hundred and
fourteen blood proteins, while a ninety minute moderate workout changes
only seven. So thirty or so three minutes of sprinting
is far better for you than working out for ninety minutes.

Speaker 1 (01:02:55):
So that was that was trying to break this down
from the science terms.

Speaker 3 (01:02:58):
No, you nailed it. Like, so basically, the higher the
strain of the exercise over the shorter interval, the better
it is for you overall than doing moderate exercise for longer.
We're the reason for this is we are built for
marathon running human beings like, evolutionarily speaking, like, our whole

(01:03:21):
construct is so that we could chase prey animals until
they literally fall over and gas for their lives, so
we could hit with a rock. That's how we hunted
for thousands of years before we started making tops.

Speaker 1 (01:03:33):
What happened to me. I don't think I can go
three minutes.

Speaker 3 (01:03:38):
What you are, what you are doing is storing up
for the fandom, because that was important to when there
was a surplus.

Speaker 1 (01:03:47):
You ate and ate and ate, and you created tissues
that you could your.

Speaker 3 (01:03:50):
Body could feast on in times when you know there
were no berries or nuts or animals.

Speaker 2 (01:03:56):
What if I'm just a human cow? What and I'm
going to be harvested later?

Speaker 3 (01:04:01):
DD, I don't know what you're talking about.

Speaker 1 (01:04:02):
You've lost what twenty five pounds?

Speaker 3 (01:04:04):
Oh? Yeah, I guess you do look slimy shirt today.

Speaker 7 (01:04:06):
TD.

Speaker 2 (01:04:06):
That's because I don't want to be eating cat all right,
I gotta I gotta knock some of this weight off otherwise.

Speaker 3 (01:04:11):
Correct, we're gonna get you doing some short innividual sprints
in the parking lot.

Speaker 2 (01:04:15):
To the studies point the Tom Holland work out for
the New Spider Man movie, which he looks jacked in.
He looks amazing. Was you put twenty minutes on the clock.
You do five pull ups, ten push ups, and I
can't remember what the other ten body weight squats, and
you do that as many times.

Speaker 3 (01:04:28):
As you can in twenty minutes.

Speaker 2 (01:04:30):
Yeah, and it's just a full sprint for that twenty minutes,
and that's how he looks like he does and then
you're done. It's twenty minutes. No, you do it a
couple times a day.

Speaker 5 (01:04:37):
Oh oh no, no, yeah, that's three draw the line extra
twenty minutes.

Speaker 3 (01:04:41):
No no, I was gonna say it's like a once
a week thing, maybe even once a month.

Speaker 1 (01:04:45):
Yeah, that sounds right.

Speaker 3 (01:04:46):
Yeah, you're right.

Speaker 12 (01:04:46):
Pe.

Speaker 2 (01:04:47):
When you had to do pull ups, oh, everyone very
word at you because you can't do a single pull up.

Speaker 3 (01:04:52):
I remember getting caught because I had really insanely flexible hamstrings.
I was able to get my foot up on the
top of the wall mat and so I was doing
pull up. So my my physical education teacher was like,
oh my god, Oremburger did like twenty of them.

Speaker 1 (01:05:07):
I'm like, yeah, no problem.

Speaker 3 (01:05:09):
I looked like I looked like freaking meat loaf when
he was in his forties at sixteen years old, and
then they caught me. I was the worst. The only
thing I really liked was sit in reach. Oh yeah,
that was a fun one. Just stretching.

Speaker 2 (01:05:22):
Well, you didn't really have to do anything, sat there,
put your arms out. Yeah, they measured it. Oh, good times,
good times. Well, only be on social media.

Speaker 3 (01:05:33):
Things would be better. Things would be better. Big Rits,
medium Fletch, one on one, five kg. It's just a
ten with Big rit. Yes, a little advice that I'd
like to share with you every once in a while.

Speaker 1 (01:05:46):
Push it out your way. It's yours for the taking.

Speaker 3 (01:05:48):
If you want it, send it back this way if
you don't want it. No harm, no foul. It's just
a tip with Big rich In. Today's advice revolves around
Mexican food orders at any place in San Diego. Basically,
I don't think I've missed once. This is the deal, Fletch.
You brought this up. I've been doing this for years.
It's a really smart hack. You go to a Mexican restaurant,

(01:06:11):
you order the poyosado or the carnea a soada plate,
which usually comes with some version of you know.

Speaker 1 (01:06:19):
Beans or rice or both.

Speaker 3 (01:06:22):
You get the pico de gayo. Sometimes you'll have a
little of the avocado or guacamole on this side, and
then they ask you do you want corn tortillas with this? Oh,
and then of course the carnea a soada or the poyosado,
and then they'll ask do you want corner flower tortillas.
Here's what you say, I want them both, because typically
what they do is they already have them pre wrapped
in the cell fane plastic wrap, so they just give

(01:06:42):
you extra tortillas. So now you have a plethora of tortillas, okay,
and then you can make tacos yourself.

Speaker 1 (01:06:53):
It's build your own tacos, you mean instead of ordering tacos.

Speaker 3 (01:06:56):
Yeah. Yeah, and you and you only spend like you know,
I don't know, like between fifteen and twenty dollars, say
for the poor carnass out a plate.

Speaker 2 (01:07:04):
And you get like five times of the food you
bring home the kids of it because they want to
build their own tacos.

Speaker 3 (01:07:09):
Anyways, you ask them maybe for a side of cheese.
Sometimes they charge you, sometimes they don't. If you say,
give me a side of cheese, sometimes they don't charge you.
If you say a side of queso, they'll charge you
every time.

Speaker 4 (01:07:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:07:19):
Yeah, So I just say it in English and I
get it for free.

Speaker 3 (01:07:22):
My god, can I do.

Speaker 1 (01:07:23):
An add on to this tip?

Speaker 2 (01:07:24):
If you want three California burritos for the price of one,
you get the carneas out of fries and then you
ask for three side tortillas, the flower tortillas.

Speaker 6 (01:07:32):
Yes, that's insane to ask for burrito size tortilla.

Speaker 2 (01:07:35):
That's what they give you. That's what they have. What
at least that's the place like I go to nachos
and lamece, and that is my place. Man, if you
love this spot, if you.

Speaker 3 (01:07:42):
Ask for a tortilla, they give you a burrito size,
not the place I go to around PBA or the
couple places they usually give you the taco size tortilla.

Speaker 1 (01:07:51):
Oh, you're going to the wrong place.

Speaker 3 (01:07:53):
No, no, no, yeah, because well I y yeah, that's right.
I need so many more tacos. You. This is perfect
because Taco Knight in our house for years now has
been this way and we only have one of the
two boys who will eat it. So it's kind of
convenient because then we'll make sebashi and whatever he wants.
But this, this is the method to save some cash

(01:08:15):
and to still have your tacos and enjoy him too.

Speaker 1 (01:08:19):
This is a good tip. This actually would work.

Speaker 3 (01:08:22):
See thank you, CD. Now I think asking for a
burrito size tortilla, now, hang on, it's just normal.

Speaker 1 (01:08:28):
It's standard operating procedure.

Speaker 3 (01:08:29):
It's sop.

Speaker 2 (01:08:31):
Can I get the carneasata fries and three eighteen inch tortillas.

Speaker 1 (01:08:34):
No, I'll do it. I that part of it is
new to me.

Speaker 2 (01:08:38):
Don't say what up to my guy Nacho going his name? Yeah,
it's not Joe's, that's this place.

Speaker 1 (01:08:43):
How do you know? How do you know I've met him?

Speaker 3 (01:08:45):
Dude?

Speaker 2 (01:08:46):
I think you're just calling some guy named Bill Nacho.

Speaker 1 (01:08:49):
No, it's first of all, it's that Bill.

Speaker 3 (01:08:51):
It's probably your Miguel or one or and you're calling
him Nacho's horribly of fence. It's an apostrophe.

Speaker 1 (01:08:59):
It's Nacho's foster.

Speaker 3 (01:09:00):
Yeah, but it doesn't especially a proper down dude. Also,
are you one hundred percent certain you're calling the same
guy Nacho every time you go in there?

Speaker 1 (01:09:08):
He works like twenty four hours a day. It's crazy.
I love this guy.

Speaker 2 (01:09:12):
Yeah, it's the same guy for sure. And I talked
to him at least once a week. It's just going
to get himself arrested. Absolutely, man.

Speaker 3 (01:09:19):
I'll tell you what, We've covered a lot of ground
today on this show. We uh man, We've we've already
had her first fight since Kat came back. She was
so pissed at us earlier today. We didn't have a fight.

Speaker 1 (01:09:32):
This is interesting terminology. I think it was Rich you
were in the crosshairs.

Speaker 3 (01:09:35):
Yeah, it was.

Speaker 1 (01:09:35):
It was Rich and Cat and I were grabbing a
beer somewhere.

Speaker 3 (01:09:38):
I know you guys did not offer me any shielding.
I didn't even know what to do in this situation.
She was I felt like it was too she was.
She had two guns, a kimbo, and she was just
lighting me up. And you guys were like, oh my god,
we should probably get coffee right now.

Speaker 1 (01:09:54):
Well, Cat's scary when she's mad. I don't want to
put myself in the cross mad. But Rich, you started
out by set saying that I need.

Speaker 5 (01:10:01):
To have kids because I clearly have too much free
time because I went and painted at the park.

Speaker 1 (01:10:06):
That was the park.

Speaker 3 (01:10:08):
That was a compliment, Cad.

Speaker 1 (01:10:09):
What I meant by that statement that.

Speaker 3 (01:10:12):
Was try to twist this very very truthful, was that
you would make a great mom. Would I would.

Speaker 1 (01:10:19):
However, you can't just come.

Speaker 5 (01:10:21):
You have to have a partner, and I have not
met a man yet that I want to have kids.

Speaker 3 (01:10:24):
Could hand the reins over to us, let us a
sperm bank, del b the ihop.

Speaker 2 (01:10:31):
No no, no, no, mom, So just give us whatever
your dating app log ins are.

Speaker 3 (01:10:35):
Also, if you confuse the too, she'll end up with
silver dogs instead of children.

Speaker 6 (01:10:41):
Man, you'd be a great mom, great mom, except your
kids would get made fun of for whatever you put
in their lunches, whatever they're wearing.

Speaker 3 (01:10:49):
Oh yeah, oh yeah, that's with that.

Speaker 6 (01:10:52):
Well, they would talk about how their clothes vibrated, and
no one would know what they were talking about.

Speaker 5 (01:10:56):
Well maybe by the time that I have kids, they
will know every but it will be a little bit
more tuned with healthy things. O.

Speaker 3 (01:11:04):
Man. It would be very funny though, if your kids
did have like chocolate chip eyes and with cream hair
and stuff.

Speaker 1 (01:11:12):
Like if she, if she, if she did?

Speaker 3 (01:11:13):
Confused? I harm Strawberry. I'm hungry, you guys. I'm fasting.
I know.

Speaker 1 (01:11:21):
