Speaker 1 (00:00):
The shroom texted me. He goes, hey, what time are
you giving out your tickets for a five Finger Death Punch?
And I'm like, I don't know if we have any
and he goes, didn't they tell you that? I'm like,
nobody tells me anything.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
Well, I think he did a ticket giveaway last night
on his show. And then I think our ticket giveaway
is today. That's according to our girl Katie that works
in promotions.

Speaker 1 (00:21):
Well that's the funny thing. He goes, well, I thought
she said something about that, and I'm like, look, yesterday,
about two minutes before we announced the five Finger Death
Punch concert. Yes, we looked in our email and she
never told us what day the actual concert was happening.

Speaker 3 (00:38):
This is true.

Speaker 1 (00:39):
We had the caller and ask her.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
We had all the details, but we were like, when
are they actually here?

Speaker 1 (00:47):
Don't we know when the ticket's go on zam, but
we don't know when or where it is.

Speaker 3 (00:50):
We are so organized, and we.

Speaker 1 (00:52):
Called and called and called and kept getting voicemail because
it was, you know, almost ten o'clock. It was way
too early for her. And finally she picked up, like
a sorry for a week in U Katie.

Speaker 3 (01:04):
She's a wake up just now.

Speaker 1 (01:09):
Here you have.

Speaker 2 (01:11):
That's pretty close to how she sounded. But if I
remember from what she said last week, well anyway, today, yes,
our day is.

Speaker 3 (01:23):
Today's trooms was last night.

Speaker 1 (01:25):
It's their problem to deal with.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
After we'll eventually get those tickets to somebody. We can
all figured out before Monday, August tenth. We do have
some time to get it together.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
Yesterday's a shocking, man, this and every year the NFL
gets more and more shocking because I love it, That's
why it's And you know, like when when the Ravens
fired their coach, it was like what and then Mike
Tomlin just stepping down.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
Quote unquote stepping down or maybe they had a conversation
with him, like either way, step down or you want
us to cut ties?

Speaker 3 (02:03):
How do we want to do this?

Speaker 1 (02:04):
It's really crazy seeing this.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
I hope he sticks around with the league though. I
like his personality. I think he's a cool dude. Maybe
get him in a broadcast boost somewhere. But this really
was shocking news. And now in the AFC North, everybody's
coaches are gone except our Zach Taylor, the only one returning.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
Look, I'm sorry to say it, but everyone ignores the
NFL or the Bengals.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
So again, nobody's ignoring the Bengals. No, we are not
always staying in a conversation. I mean, over the weekend,
people just roll.

Speaker 1 (02:38):
Their eyes in the NFL because it's not like the
it's not like any of these big name coaches are
going to the to the Bengals, and it's not like, oh,
next year because it's not gonna happen.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
Well, we are not getting any big coaches coming to
the Bengals because we just extended Zach Taylor. But over
the weekend, the big conversations that were happening are how
Pat Mahomes and Joe Burrow are not in the playoffs.

Speaker 3 (03:02):
Yeah, and that was brought up multiple times.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
Yeah, and next year it's gonna uh, the Bengals will
not be in the playoffs again. Why because they're the Bengals.
And don't don't make me grab.

Speaker 3 (03:14):
It's only been three seasons in a row.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
It's not that don't make me grab last year's tape
and don't make me grab the year before his tape
and say the same thing when you go.

Speaker 3 (03:23):
Stop, dude.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
I watched that entire sixty three minute presser with Duke
Tobin on Friday. Lots of promises were made, so we'll
see what happens in the off season.

Speaker 1 (03:33):
You like wasting your time, you go waste.

Speaker 3 (03:35):
Do you feel like it was a big waste of time?

Speaker 1 (03:37):
Every year it's the waste of time.

Speaker 2 (03:40):
It's not a waste of time to support your team.
Me listening to that Duke Tobin presser for sixty three
minutes was not the best use of my all.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
A waste of time and money.

Speaker 3 (03:49):
Oh, I wouldn't say that.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
No, those are precious memories I'm making with people, especially
my dad.

Speaker 1 (03:54):
Well, yeah, now that don't see. Don't do that because
then I feel bad.

Speaker 3 (03:58):
That's exactly what it is.

Speaker 4 (03:59):
Though.

Speaker 3 (03:59):
Yeah, I Nicky and I went and saw four or
five different games this season. Had a great time. But
win and or lose, and it's always a good time.

Speaker 1 (04:06):
This is more for the jerk offs that paint their
faces and wear dumb hats and stuff, and you waste
your money and go out there and do that.

Speaker 2 (04:11):
But that's just how they're showing their fandom. Everyone's got
their thing that makes them happy. You're happy with your
recliner and wrestling, I donline you're happy with painting their
faces and supporting the Cincinnati Bengals.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
I don't have a recliner, and I actually can't tell
you the last time I've watched wrestling. Actually, didn't you.

Speaker 3 (04:30):
Just watch it over the weekends?

Speaker 1 (04:31):
No?

Speaker 2 (04:32):
Really, No, I thought there was some wrestling match over
the weekend.

Speaker 1 (04:36):
Nope. I haven't turned it on in a long time.

Speaker 2 (04:39):
Well, you're happy watching your daughters happy. I saw that
Twister the mascot for this Incie cycle and surprise your
daughter last year.

Speaker 1 (04:45):
Yea, that was that was interesting. I just found out
about that two days ago that that was happening. How
cool is that? Yeah? That was that was great.

Speaker 2 (04:53):
The video was very heartwarming. That was really nice that
he came over and he had a surprise for her too.

Speaker 4 (04:57):
Oh.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
Actually, here is what is very heartwarm is how all
of a sudden, you know, single Chris has a lot
of females now now that are very interested in going
to the Five Finger Death Punch Show.

Speaker 3 (05:12):
Isn't that funny how they pop up out of network?

Speaker 1 (05:14):
God, my Instagram messages is you know, if I'm looking
for someone to go to the show with and all
that stuff, you know what, and this is where Angry
High School Chris comes out and basically, if you were
near me, I would probably choke you out in some
kind of UFC the hold because no, f you.

Speaker 3 (05:34):
What's an example of a message that you got about
the concept.

Speaker 1 (05:37):
Basically what I just said, I'm trying to I don't
they change everything around. I used to be able to
go up to the upper corner and just open.

Speaker 2 (05:43):
You have to go into requests if they're not somebody
that you're following.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
I don't follow anybody, so I don't know how to
do the thing. It's basically just if you're looking for
someone to go. I would love to really go to
the Five Finger show.

Speaker 3 (05:56):
You know, easy date nights not doing it?

Speaker 1 (06:00):
Sorry, So you could go meet your friends out there,
and I still stand there by myself.

Speaker 3 (06:05):
We got to have a ride.

Speaker 1 (06:07):
Yeah, that all, But we do have those tickets coming
up at seven thirty five. I may just keep it
for dudes.

Speaker 2 (06:15):
Ladies, you are always welcome to call up, especially if
you want to try to win tickets to go see
Five Finger at River Bends.

Speaker 3 (06:21):
It's tough for s.

Speaker 5 (06:25):
Oh yeah, freaking all the LUs ruse.

Speaker 2 (06:34):
We have fourteen days and I still can't get the
lyrics right.

Speaker 1 (06:37):
That's all right, Tam. We're changing it back.

Speaker 3 (06:40):
Absolutely not. The people have.

Speaker 2 (06:42):
Spoken to well, they're always wrong, not our listeners. Yeah,
they're always right.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
Okay, we'll see.

Speaker 3 (06:51):
Well, are you still staying Happy New Year to people?

Speaker 1 (06:53):
By the way, I don't say that the people period.

Speaker 3 (06:57):
You are the wrong person to ask.

Speaker 1 (06:59):
Yeah, yeah, I don't.

Speaker 3 (07:00):
Now there's a girl that.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
I saw the other day at the gym, and I
hadn't seen her since last year, Like our schedules just
haven't aligned.

Speaker 3 (07:07):
And I said.

Speaker 2 (07:08):
Happy New Year, like hopere having a good new year,
not even thinking. I'm like, wait, how long do we
typically say that?

Speaker 1 (07:13):
Yeah? I don't know. I don't.

Speaker 2 (07:15):
I feel like today is the end of it. You're like,
you're two weeks in, Like that's it.

Speaker 1 (07:19):
Yeah. Like my personal Facebook has people have taken pictures
of them like writing like checks and stuff, and they
have to oh I'm still writing to that. I'm like,
And the first thing I do is I think, who's
still writing checks?

Speaker 6 (07:31):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (07:31):
Yeah, I haven't written that check in forever.

Speaker 2 (07:33):
Yeah, I don't know the last time I wrote one
or had cash in my pocket. I mean you talked
about having cash with you yesterday. Yeah, I do I
feel like nobody really accepts it anymore.

Speaker 3 (07:44):
It's weird.

Speaker 1 (07:46):
Yeah, I know, they'll look at your crosside like.

Speaker 3 (07:48):
I don't know I heard any with them. We just
take Apple pay.

Speaker 2 (07:52):
No, but some Michigan University students are trending after they
talked about some words and phrases that should be banned
this year in the language in the English language due
to over using them or not knowing exactly how to
use them, Like.

Speaker 1 (08:07):
Uh, the word work, I don't do that anymore.

Speaker 2 (08:10):
I don't want to work anymore. Responsibility, nobody wants to work.
But some of the things that we are leaving in
twenty twenty five, all of these I am grateful for.
But just to narrow down a few six seven out,
I guess too many adults started using it.

Speaker 3 (08:29):
Do your kids still say six to seven? What your kids?

Speaker 2 (08:33):
Your two daughters, they're about that middle school age, and
that's like the most popular age that's using that six
to seven term.

Speaker 1 (08:39):
Yeah, well not to me, I don't. I don't hear it.
They don't do that to me.

Speaker 3 (08:43):
You never hear it from them.

Speaker 1 (08:45):
Yeah no, I heard it once and I burned them
with cigarettes and the stuff.

Speaker 3 (08:49):
That that was the end of that.

Speaker 2 (08:52):
I know they've got the six seven graphic at the
Cincinnati Cyclones. I wonder how long they'll hang on to
that one for.

Speaker 1 (08:59):
Once it spills in to the adults, they drop.

Speaker 3 (09:01):
It exactly too many adults were trying to figure it
out and they were like, Nope, no, that's what I mean.

Speaker 2 (09:08):
I'm too clued in to understand that. Yeah, so I
stay out of it. Yeah, I still didn't even really
understand that one. Another phrase on here full stop whatever, Yeah,
my bad, I'll always use that one.

Speaker 3 (09:22):
I've been saying that forever. Oh my bad.

Speaker 1 (09:26):
I don't think I've ever used that because it's never
my bad. I'm always right.

Speaker 3 (09:31):
You think you're always right.

Speaker 1 (09:33):
Right, so I will never say it. But you're bad
for thinking that I'm never wrong.

Speaker 2 (09:38):
You never want to apologize. Talk to your ex wife
about that before.

Speaker 1 (09:43):
That's not true.

Speaker 3 (09:44):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (09:44):
Cooked is something that the kids are saying that we're
leaving in twenty twenty five, Like, h he cooked with
that one?

Speaker 1 (09:53):
These are we cooked?

Speaker 3 (09:55):
Are we cooked? Cincinnati Bengals cooked?

Speaker 1 (09:57):
Yes, they've been cooked since they started.

Speaker 2 (10:00):
Hey, I'm still going to use cooked and my bad
demure was a really popular one last year and the
year before. But those are a few that they're saying, Hey,
we are leaving these in the past, moving on, moving forward.

Speaker 1 (10:15):
This is so funny because I barely can use the
English language in general basic.

Speaker 3 (10:21):
Yeah, so why are we adding so many things and
taking them away?

Speaker 1 (10:24):
And I exactly that I never got to in the
first place. So never hear dropping things I never got to.

Speaker 2 (10:29):
Yeah, I don't think I ever casually. I don't think
I ever casually just said six seven. I think anytime
it was brought up, it was because I was confused
about it.

Speaker 1 (10:38):
Yeah. I didn't even ask because I don't care.

Speaker 3 (10:42):
See. I asked because I was like, what is there
something funny with this?

Speaker 7 (10:45):
Like?

Speaker 3 (10:45):
Is there something I should be aware of?

Speaker 6 (10:47):
I'm not.

Speaker 1 (10:47):
I'm not one to go chasing trying to be hip.
I don't care. I don't. I just don't care. Where's
I just get up? I go? Where's my check?

Speaker 4 (10:57):
Well?

Speaker 2 (10:58):
Whatever your vibe, is there a mini to match it
at I seventy oneted Stewart or you can just visit
Cincinnatimini dot com.

Speaker 3 (11:06):
That'll keep you cool for sure.

Speaker 1 (11:07):
To have a spots Westen, don't be a clown.

Speaker 2 (11:13):
Right, Yeah?

Speaker 5 (11:17):
Oh yeah, clown.

Speaker 1 (11:24):
Everything sounds so weird and polished.

Speaker 3 (11:27):
I love it.

Speaker 1 (11:28):
Yeah, it's like a TV show.

Speaker 4 (11:29):
Now.

Speaker 2 (11:30):
And how about those undefeated Miami RedHawks. Baby brand Byers
with twenty four points. Freshman Justin Kirby added seventeen off
the bench. Miami Dumb Central Michigan one hundred to sixty one.
The RedHawks are eighteen and.

Speaker 8 (11:43):
Oh not ranked yet and nationally in the in the
AP polar You are right USA today.

Speaker 3 (11:51):
They need to be.

Speaker 8 (11:52):
President Trump is going to look into that again. Congressional
investigation upcoming, as he should. It's the RedHawks have on
twenty five in a row at beautiful Malett Hall. They
are now just one of four unbeaten teams left in
the NCAA College basketball ranks.

Speaker 1 (12:08):
Just one of how many vanderbiltar four College, Arizona, Nebraska,
and the Miami RedHawks.

Speaker 2 (12:16):
Due they had the Miami men's swim team there and
they were standing behind the basket like all wearing their
little last little speedos.

Speaker 3 (12:24):
Yeah, it was funny to try to distract.

Speaker 1 (12:27):
That's delicious. Use that let me use that word enough
anymore delicious.

Speaker 8 (12:32):
Let's see Keante Jones with fifteen points is Dayton knocks
off Duquine seventy one sixty five. Toledo downs Ohio. You
one on one e five, Thank you. Michigan State over
Indiana eighty one to sixty. Virginia wins at number two
at Louisville seventy nine to seventy. Now tonight, yeah, Big
twelve play Fifth Third Arena, the site twelve and one.
The Buffaloes of Colorado roll into town against our beloved

(12:56):
Bearcats at seven.

Speaker 2 (12:57):
And don't wear the paper bags over your head, like,
show some respect.

Speaker 8 (13:01):
They they they dumped that because it's a clear bag
policy at fifth third Arena, so you can't. But I'm
sure some clowns are going to have some bags over
their head.

Speaker 3 (13:11):
Yeah, show some respect for the players.

Speaker 1 (13:13):
You bring newspapers. You're supposed to bring newspapers and hold
them up.

Speaker 3 (13:16):
Yeah, well, I haven't seen that one in.

Speaker 1 (13:19):
A long time.

Speaker 8 (13:20):
That's a big, Big East play tonight at Sentas Center.
It's at six thirty with Butler in town to take
on Xavier. Kentucky's at LSU at seven thirty. Red's Update,
Reds Fest of course coming.

Speaker 1 (13:31):
Up Friday and Saturday.

Speaker 8 (13:32):
Downtown pitchers and catchers report to Goodyear, Arizona don't be
late February the.

Speaker 2 (13:38):
Ninth, and the Convention Center looks so cool. They've got
it all decked out for Reds fast.

Speaker 1 (13:42):
Oh yeah, acher or a catcher, seg I was a
catcher for you.

Speaker 8 (13:47):
NFL News Mike Tomlin stepped down yesterday Pittsburgh Steelers head
coach after nineteen years, never had a losing season into
Steel City.

Speaker 1 (13:56):
I like that.

Speaker 8 (13:57):
Not expected to coach in twenty twenty six. Look, he's
had it off to TV, maybe Fox. They haven't replaced
Jimmy Johnson or to CBS where they had that. Matt
Ryan left the NFL today, so who knows.

Speaker 2 (14:12):
He's got a cool personality. I think he's going to
land on his feet.

Speaker 9 (14:15):
Just fine one of our sports stations and ignore us
some more. Yeah, the Steelers began their search for just
their fourth head coach since nineteen sixty nine.

Speaker 1 (14:28):
You know what, what, there have been more popes.

Speaker 8 (14:33):
Of the Catholic Church than Steelers head coaches since nineteen
sixty nine. Six popes, three Steeler coaches.

Speaker 1 (14:41):
Awesome, how about that?

Speaker 3 (14:43):
Fun?

Speaker 1 (14:44):
Yeah.

Speaker 10 (14:44):
Olympic News.

Speaker 1 (14:45):
Olympic News.

Speaker 8 (14:46):
Cincinnati native Quinn Daylinger a freestyle singer or skier. Excuse me,
who specializes in arioals. Will make his Olympic debut. I
think he did the open. I will make his Olympic
debut next month at the Winter Games. And beautiful Italy.

Speaker 3 (15:00):
Oh cool.

Speaker 1 (15:01):
NHL.

Speaker 8 (15:01):
Last night Columbus beat Calgary five to three, the first
win for their new head coach Rick Bone.

Speaker 1 (15:06):
And that's a big one.

Speaker 3 (15:07):
First day, Yeah, first down. The job gets to go
over Monday.

Speaker 1 (15:11):
He was sitting in his boat.

Speaker 8 (15:12):
He was relaxing on his boat Monday, Monday morning, yep,
got the Jackets called and said, you want to say, yep,
let's go.

Speaker 3 (15:19):
I guess from the boat to the rink.

Speaker 10 (15:21):
There you go.

Speaker 1 (15:22):
It kind of sucks. I was watching Boston last night,
but you know, it's all these games started at seven,
seven thirty. It was late. I'm in bed. I got
to be in bed. And then tonight the Flyers play
and I got to be in bed. He started set
seven thirty and I got to be in bed.

Speaker 2 (15:35):
That's why college basketball is so awesome. It's just over
ninety minutes long. I mean, Miami wrapped up play at
like eight forty five last night.

Speaker 3 (15:43):
Not too bad. Yeah, but there's they're fun to watch.
That's not I know, it's not hockey. That's not what
you like. But yeah, it's good for during the week,
especially maybe we're trying to get to bed time.

Speaker 11 (15:55):
You know.

Speaker 8 (15:55):
The You and I get tickets for the Stadium Series
in Tampa.

Speaker 1 (15:58):
Now, I don't want to go to that. You don't
want to go to a waste. And here's the thing.

Speaker 8 (16:02):
What about the Heritage Classic in Canada?

Speaker 3 (16:04):
No, because do you think you're going to get them
to Canada?

Speaker 12 (16:06):
No?

Speaker 1 (16:07):
I would go to Canada, but I want to go
to a regular ut passport. Yeah, yeah, yeah you do.
But here's the thing. You use it sometimes you're a
sport that five people watch. Why are you doing all
these weird things with it? We're going to go out
and play outdoors in Florida? Are you know what they're.

Speaker 8 (16:27):
They're talking about the new uh Buffalo Bill's NFL stadium. Yeah, yeah,
they're talking about already having it. I think they I
think Buffalo hosts the NFL Draft in a year or so.
They want to put the Winter Classic in the new stadium.
That makes perfect sense and they'll have seventy five thousand

(16:47):
people in that joint.

Speaker 1 (16:48):
Easily easily, and it'll be it'll be snowing in May,
being gun that's what you want.

Speaker 3 (16:54):
Yeah, everybody.

Speaker 8 (16:56):
You take it to Miami, you take it to Tampa Bay.
You got to go all over the place.

Speaker 1 (17:00):
Stay out of Florida. Florida doesn't deserve hockey. I mean,
I get it.

Speaker 3 (17:02):
Do they care about anything?

Speaker 1 (17:04):
The Stanley Cup champs are I know, and I know
most of the people that are, you know, older folks
that are from the Northeast and stuff they move down
there and all that, and I get it. But no,
it just doesn't feel right enough. It's not bringing this up.

Speaker 3 (17:18):
Seg all right, let's get out of there.

Speaker 1 (17:20):
H thank you saying no sponsor, so yeah, good, yeah Sponsorsike.

Speaker 3 (17:24):
Shock, it'll happen, will happen, all right?

Speaker 1 (17:29):
One two seven w e b N coming up, and
about ten minutes or so, we will have tickets for
you to go check out five Finger Death Punch. We
announced that show yesterday. Now, Sarah, I've been blowing this
because we've been so packed getting random awesome calls. By
the way, I mean, we kicked off twenty twenty six
with some of the greatest people calling into this show,

(17:50):
and I really appreciate that because it's it's always fun
hearing from everybody. I mean, for God's sake, we had
a woman call it if you miss it's on the
podcast for yesterday. A woman that called in just to
share that she was dying.

Speaker 2 (18:06):
That she's only got three years left to live and
she was getting a surgery yesterday.

Speaker 3 (18:09):
In her heart.

Speaker 1 (18:10):
Yeah right, and.

Speaker 3 (18:13):
How wild was that?

Speaker 1 (18:14):
She was going to call in afterwards. So I guess
we're going to hear from her.

Speaker 2 (18:18):
I really hope she follows up. We told her to
follow up with us.

Speaker 1 (18:21):
Yeah, we don't hear from her. We know how that ended. Yeah,
she was having she was in heart failure in the
hospital when she called us. That was on the yesterday and.

Speaker 3 (18:30):
Then Marian, they're all, yeah, all wired up and everything.

Speaker 1 (18:33):
And then what was the other We had the.

Speaker 4 (18:37):
What was it?

Speaker 2 (18:37):
We had the family drama with the mama. Yeah, the
one she has four babies under the age of twenty five.

Speaker 1 (18:43):
Yeah, she had her first one at fifteen and her
her and her mom were as strange and she ended
up moving getting reconnecting with her mom. She moved in
with the mom and then they started fighting and she
moved out, was living in her car while she waited
to get a house. And the baby. Like a couple
of the kids were living the mom.

Speaker 2 (19:02):
Then she became kind a popular on only fans, so
she was able to bring in some dough to get
them back, right, And I guess there's still a lot
of drama there, right.

Speaker 1 (19:10):
Because while she was living in her car to get
this house, the grandmother to cussy the kids and we'll
give them back to the to the mom. And then
then but she's got one.

Speaker 3 (19:20):
I just got one of the four kids. It's all
very confusing.

Speaker 1 (19:23):
Then the sister in law called in and started screaming
at her and they were fighting. Come to find out,
the sister in law right right, would it be a
sister in law, No, it was like a law.

Speaker 2 (19:36):
It was like a friend of hers who's twenty six
years old, as she is dating her dad who's married
six they're married. Oh I didn't know they were married.
I thought they were just hooking up or something.

Speaker 1 (19:47):
And then and then and then she was saying, you're
married to my dad. Now, who is a register allegedly
a registered sex offender, And oh it was that's all.

Speaker 2 (19:56):
On the first day back, it was a mess man
that was like some jerry spring her stuff. And then
they were all fighting on the EBA on Facebook page.

Speaker 1 (20:03):
Yep, yeah, I was good. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (20:08):
And then we had a lady that she was talking
about her dating life and she had dated a guy
for almost six months.

Speaker 1 (20:15):
Right, that was the other one.

Speaker 2 (20:16):
She knew that he had kids, that's right, but she
didn't know that he had a special needs kid, right.

Speaker 1 (20:21):
Okay. That leads me to this because we started getting
here's the thing, we started getting ambush with the like
talkbacks and stuff that are that are people listening to
the podcast? Okay? Yeah, she was dating a guy that
she met on one of those things, you know, those
apps and stuff, and then for months and then she
finally met I guess over the holidays his kids.

Speaker 2 (20:42):
Yeah, there were like six or seven months into dating
and he never mentioned it before. And I think she
was just hurt by the fact that he didn't share
that with her.

Speaker 1 (20:50):
Ever, and she wants out now because he's got a
kid that's special needs.

Speaker 2 (20:55):
I don't even think she wants out. I think she's
just upset that he never brought it up to her.
She's like, I feel like I was being lied to.

Speaker 11 (21:04):
The guy should have definitely let the lady know that
he had a special needs child after six months.

Speaker 2 (21:10):
Yeah, yeah, absolutely, that's probably something that you talk about
on the first date, like, Hey, this is what I
do for a living. I've got three kids, one of
them is special needs. That's my whole world. Well, he
probably how do you not talk about that?

Speaker 1 (21:23):
I don't know. He probably uh has been through it
before and just watches these ladies get up and walk
away after the hearing that.

Speaker 3 (21:31):
Then that's not the lady for you.

Speaker 13 (21:32):
Huh.

Speaker 1 (21:34):
That probably happens to every single one. That girl, after
we talked to her, she would have done it. She
probably would have done it just to let you know
what my uh uh, I have a kid at special day?
Where are you going?

Speaker 2 (21:45):
I would like a follow up with her because she
had talked to us last week and I think she
was still in that beginning phase of like do I
continue on with this relationship or like how do I
handle this conversation with him?

Speaker 1 (21:56):
She's already with somebody else at this time.

Speaker 3 (21:57):
I would like to know how that's going.

Speaker 1 (22:00):
Here's some more talkbacks.

Speaker 13 (22:03):
Hey kid, Chris, I just wanted to say, Man, I
appreciate you talking about mental health.

Speaker 1 (22:08):
Not a lot of guys do. It's something I always
keep bottled up.

Speaker 13 (22:12):
Back in twenty thirteen, I lost my sister to cancer
in August September. The next month I lost my little brother,
Assistic Vibresos. He was twenty four, his sister was thirty four.
And the following year, September fifth, I lost my older brother.

Speaker 3 (22:31):
Oh my gosh.

Speaker 1 (22:32):
Yes, what sucks is some of these talkbacks they just end.
I don't know if people's like if I don't know
how the thing works. I don't know if you take
your thumb off the microphone it stops recording or something.
I don't know how it works. But some of these
just end like that.

Speaker 2 (22:46):
Well, hopefully, if he's listening right now, give us a call.
I want to hear more about not in his life.

Speaker 1 (22:52):
They tell me not like one of our new bosses says,
don't talk about that stuff on the air anymore. So
I don't know how. I I think it's good, but
you know, he says no, So I don't know. I
don't know what to do. Here's some more talkbacks. That
last segment is what I love about this morning show.

Speaker 13 (23:13):
I hope you guys never go anywhere, because Cincinnati can't
afford to lose this morning Mayor we'd all be screwed.

Speaker 2 (23:22):
Yeah, which segment was he talking about.

Speaker 1 (23:25):
I don't know, probably want of the rants about getting
fired or something.

Speaker 3 (23:29):
Well, they happen every day, so.

Speaker 1 (23:32):
Guess every ninety days. It's usually at the end of
every quarter. And we're coming up to one. I think
that in February is when one happens. So get ready,
let's see. Here's some more.

Speaker 6 (23:44):
And I don't meet you people ever in Cincinnati. I
guarantee you and any other size city the same size,
there's never been such incompetence as ever in Cincinnati. A
drum shaw thirty and give you nothing, give you a
losing football team?

Speaker 3 (24:02):
Yeah, you keep going back, yep, it is. We are
such a loyal fan base.

Speaker 1 (24:12):
Is that what it is?

Speaker 3 (24:13):
That's exactly what it is. Where else are you gonna go?

Speaker 14 (24:16):
Come on?

Speaker 3 (24:16):
Oh yeah, where else are you gonna go?

Speaker 1 (24:19):
That is true? Let's see is here's some more from
our talkbacks, a lot of them.

Speaker 7 (24:25):
Man, something I would wish they would have taught me
in school is how to like buy a house and
what the value of things are. Yeah, because when I
bought a house, I'm asking all these people to own
a house, Like, is this good deal? Is this a
good house? Am I getting screwed? I had no idea
what I was buying. Yeah, if the price was good
and kind of the same for a vehicle, like just

(24:46):
how to you know the value of what things cost?

Speaker 1 (24:52):
He's that makes a good point. I know, I know
what it's tough with vehicles because you need one. It's
very tough with vehicles.

Speaker 2 (25:00):
These are things that should definitely be taught in lomech.
I mean, a couple of weeks ago we were talking
about the things that we learned in homemech.

Speaker 1 (25:07):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (25:08):
I learned how to bake chocolate chip cookies and so
a ladybug pillow. That is not well. I like that
I know how to make a cookie, but I would
like to know more about things like that, about buying
a house and investing with you know, with your car
and all of that.

Speaker 1 (25:20):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. The thing with me with cars is,
you know, it's always been with me. I never needed
all the bells and whistles. Like for instance, my ex
wife has this car where when you open up the door,
the logo the little light on the on the on
the concrete on the ground. When you open it, the
light shows the logo of the car on the ground,

(25:42):
and it's like, well, why do I need that? You
know what I mean?

Speaker 3 (25:47):
Yeah, yeah, I know you're paying for that.

Speaker 1 (25:50):
I don't need that. I know what I bought.

Speaker 3 (25:53):
I've not really been into flashy cars myself.

Speaker 1 (25:56):
I just need as long as I can get from.

Speaker 3 (25:58):
Point A to point B safe.

Speaker 1 (26:00):
I don't need to overpay something that's only driving me
to work. I don't want to be really going to
work now.

Speaker 3 (26:05):
I know you love coming here.

Speaker 1 (26:07):
I love doing what I do. I don't like coming
to this.

Speaker 4 (26:11):
Oh.

Speaker 2 (26:11):
I like being in a studio and being in a
space and creative environment.

Speaker 1 (26:15):
You know what I'm talking about, you know what I mean.
But it's fine.

Speaker 3 (26:19):
I'm happy here. So I'm just happy to be here, Okay.

Speaker 1 (26:22):
But the majority of the world doesn't like sinking money
into something that they're driving to that they're not happy
going to, you.

Speaker 2 (26:32):
Know what I'm saying a lot of insurance, Yes exactly.
That's my biggest complaint. We just paid our insurance and
I'm like, sheesh, yeah, yeah, every single month, but god forbid,
you got a problem.

Speaker 1 (26:42):
And then that I need it with the house, you're
stuck with it.

Speaker 10 (26:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (26:45):
So he's right though, and you're not going to ask
the person to selling me the house. They just want
the commission. Absolutely, they're gonna be like, no, this is where,
this is so you, this is so you this house.

Speaker 2 (26:55):
I do wonder if things have changed in home met classes,
because would be so helpful to have for kids.

Speaker 1 (27:02):
Yeah, to learn how to adult.

Speaker 3 (27:04):
Yeah, it's a really adult adulting one oh one.

Speaker 1 (27:07):
Yeah, to learn how to adult. Not to do something
fun because the teacher wants to do it because they're
sick of adulting. They want to do something fun at work.

Speaker 3 (27:14):
Yeah, I could go for some chocolate chippers right now.

Speaker 1 (27:16):
Our phone number is five one three seven four nine
one two seven. Yesterday, at the end of our broadcast,
we announced that Five Finger Death Punch great band to
see live. Even if you're not really into you know
that band, they're They're fun to see live. They put
on an excellent show. They're into it, and I got
to tell you, I have huge respect for these guys.

(27:38):
Years ago, when I was working in Atlanta, I had
a band called the Beatoffs, and uh, I was fortunate
enough to play this big festival thing in that band
in between Chevelle and Five Finger Death Punch.

Speaker 3 (27:53):
That's awesome.

Speaker 1 (27:54):
Yes, and uh to see the disappointment in the ad
in the fans, it was very very exciting for me.
I have a video of it too. It's really fun.
I should share that at some point. But anyways, that's.

Speaker 3 (28:07):
So sad though, What do you mean, no love for
your band?

Speaker 1 (28:11):
No, it was you know, it was a morning show thing.
It was fun. Yeah. Anyway, So.

Speaker 2 (28:18):
Anyways, so we've got tickets, yeah, to give away for
this happening on August tenth at River Bends.

Speaker 1 (28:25):
If I had to try to think of where that
video is, because there was oh.

Speaker 3 (28:29):
You gotta find out. I know that you've got it somewhere.

Speaker 1 (28:33):
Because there was people that were very in on the joke,
and there was some other people going, what is this.

Speaker 3 (28:40):
I did not I did not sign up for this.

Speaker 1 (28:43):
But seeing the guys in five Finger Death Bunch, who
were super cool backstage everybody and before they went on stage,
there were a few of those guys that were walking
around the audience meeting fans.

Speaker 3 (28:56):
Oh, I love that.

Speaker 1 (28:57):
That doesn't happen. That's very very very rare, especially now.
And that was before we came here. So this was
in twenty and eleven, so this was uh, yeah, so
major respect for those guys when I saw that.

Speaker 3 (29:10):
So will you be at their concert at River Bends?

Speaker 1 (29:13):
I will be at that. Yeah, I want to be
all right. So anyway, So five wood three seven four
nine one O two seven is the phone number we'll
playing five or Forensic five finger or five finger Forensic Files.
That's the name of it.

Speaker 4 (29:28):
Again.

Speaker 3 (29:29):
There we go. Yeah, I don't think we've flit. I've
not been a part of this one before. This is
new to me.

Speaker 1 (29:34):
Hey, who's this here on the air? This is Jeff. Jeff.
Are you a fan of Five Finger Death Punch?

Speaker 4 (29:41):
I sure am.

Speaker 10 (29:42):
I've never seen them.

Speaker 1 (29:44):
Do you have a Do you know their songs well enough?

Speaker 4 (29:48):
I mean I've definitely listened to a lot of their albums.
I don't know.

Speaker 11 (29:52):
It depends on how new or.

Speaker 1 (29:53):
Old it is.

Speaker 4 (29:54):
I'll find out.

Speaker 1 (29:55):
Okay, here is uh the guy from Forensic Files eating
the lyrics to one of the five Finger Death Punch hits.
Tell me what song it is and I will give
you the tickets. Here we go.

Speaker 14 (30:11):
There's just so much goddamn weight on my shoulders. All
I'm trying to do is live my mother life. I'm
supposed to be happy, but I'm only getting colder, wear
a smile on my face, but there's a demon inside.

Speaker 6 (30:38):
She got it, Wow, first one with no hesitation.

Speaker 3 (30:43):
Good for you, Yeah, I was if you know, you
know though, payse good.

Speaker 1 (30:49):
I'm glad you got it because, uh, we're on a
time crunch.

Speaker 3 (30:54):
Especially being a fan and not having seen them live before.
It's gonna be a good time and recribends.

Speaker 1 (30:59):
Good for you, dude. Congratulations. I'm glad that you get
to go. Who are you gonna go with?

Speaker 4 (31:05):
I'm not totally sure yet.

Speaker 1 (31:06):
I might figure that off. You got kids or no?

Speaker 2 (31:09):
I do.

Speaker 4 (31:10):
I have a four month old, so I would bring
my wife, but it's probably gonna be challenging right.

Speaker 1 (31:13):
Now, Okay, yeah, debt, Yeah, yeah, don't bring your four
months all right? All right, dude, hold on a second.
I'll get your info, all right, and uh and you're
not gonna hear anything on hold for some reason, we're
not able to have the music on hold. Whatever, But
so hold on you. Here's silence for a minute. Okay.
It might be the best part of your death.

Speaker 3 (31:31):
Actually might enjoy that a little bit.

Speaker 1 (31:41):
Maybe we'll play again tomorrow, Sarah, at least coming up
a eight oh five, Stuart W. Penrose will be here
taking your legal questions. All right, he's from the Manilo
Law Group.

Speaker 3 (31:55):
But first, it's tough for s news freaking all the.

Speaker 1 (32:06):
Question.

Speaker 2 (32:08):
I'm busy, that's right. Cons on the city. No, I
got to get some cheese conies this weekend, Okay, I
told my husband. I was like, I have not been
to Skyline Chili at all this entire year.

Speaker 1 (32:30):
Yesterday. For speaking of food, yes yesterday, I have to
put in my phone. I think that to remind myself
to eat yesterday.

Speaker 3 (32:39):
Christopher, all I think about is food.

Speaker 1 (32:41):
I know, I I don't know. Yesterday. I had therapy yesterday.
So I left and I had to stop to get something.
I had to get water and then I had to
get something to eat before therapy. And that was this
is at noon. So I and you know, yesterday.

Speaker 3 (32:57):
At least get something good.

Speaker 1 (32:58):
Yeah, I got the I got trail mix and then
so it's not good. It was fine. And then and
then I forgot to eat the rest of the day.

Speaker 2 (33:08):
So around no, how do people just forget to eat?

Speaker 1 (33:12):
No, around six thirty, I was like, oh I got
to eat, so I stopped. Oh this is bad too.
I stopped at Taco Bell again and I had a
chicken case of dia.

Speaker 3 (33:23):
Oh that's definitely not bad.

Speaker 2 (33:24):
That was a great decision, No, I know, but I
was like, God, Taco Bell.

Speaker 1 (33:29):
Then I got on scale this morning before work, and
I was like, man, I'm almost at high school weight.
I mean, you have to get back into the squared circle.
So I wrestling again.

Speaker 2 (33:41):
Like I said, you are Uncle Rico from Napoleon Dynamite
living in those high school glory days.

Speaker 1 (33:47):
But I'm there. I'm at that weight.

Speaker 2 (33:50):
I am proud of you, though You've had to go
through hell to lose all that weight too.

Speaker 3 (33:54):
Yeah, it's called multiple surgeries.

Speaker 1 (33:56):
And dress championship belts.

Speaker 3 (34:00):
I'm happy for you, though. Make sure you're taking care
of yourself though I can't.

Speaker 1 (34:04):
I can't promise that, but I'm there. Let's do it.

Speaker 2 (34:07):
Well, remember like five years ago in Cincinnati, the Price
Hill monkeys. Remember there were like five of them that
some lady had seen in her backyard.

Speaker 1 (34:17):
Oh yeah, and it cost a.

Speaker 2 (34:18):
Bunch of havoc. And everyone was on the lookout for
these monkeys.

Speaker 10 (34:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (34:23):
She's like, yeah, I saw them my tree. I snapped
a photo.

Speaker 1 (34:25):
Yeah, I know. All the cops went running over there
like it was real.

Speaker 2 (34:28):
Yeah, and nothing ever came of it, just because of
a phone call and a photo too. It was like
a black and white, kind of grainy, but she had
a bic. Yeah, not exactly sure what was going on there.
But in Saint Louis the other day I saw this
story trending. They also have a missing monkey situation.

Speaker 1 (34:45):
Oh listen, we got to start being careful with this now,
why because of technology.

Speaker 2 (34:50):
That's exactly where we're headed with this whole thing. So
in Saint Louis they say there are four roaming monkeys
in the city. They could be anywhere. There's little vervet
monkeys of a vervet verve what are they called vervet vervet?

Speaker 1 (35:05):
You sound like se soccer dude.

Speaker 2 (35:11):
I think I don't thing Seg rubbed off on here
for a moment there, But you know, like what Ross
and Friends has that little monkey, That's what these monkeys
look like. Okay, So now on top of that, police
and Saint Louis are saying it's getting more complicated because
people are using a I to generate images to get attention, saying, hey,

(35:34):
I caught the monkeys.

Speaker 3 (35:35):
I know exactly where they're at.

Speaker 2 (35:37):
I want money for these monkeys, that's right, and they're
trying to get paid. They're trying to make the headlines,
trying to get the attention.

Speaker 1 (35:43):
Well I know, of h there's been some news stations
that have been duped by AI when they send in
footage of like a car wreck and all that stuff
and it's not real.

Speaker 2 (35:51):
Dude, that's not good. I know this is this is awesome.
It's scary stuff. I mean, this is just a little
monkey situation. But think about how much worse it could
get in the future. It's amazing what people can do
with these AI generated images. So, I mean, yeah, the
Saint Louis police officers, like I have seen them out
and about He's like, so I know that they're out there,

(36:12):
and a bunch of residents in the Saint Louis City area.

Speaker 3 (36:15):
Have called about him.

Speaker 2 (36:16):
But now it's just getting really hard to find him
because they're like, we don't know what's real, what's fake.

Speaker 1 (36:21):
I saw footage of Willie Cunningham shooting JFK.

Speaker 2 (36:26):
I haven't seen Willy Cunningham and forever because he's maybe
he's aim like, does this guy actually exist anymore?

Speaker 10 (36:34):
What?

Speaker 6 (36:34):
So?

Speaker 2 (36:34):
Yeah, I saw this trending, and yeah, it did make
me think of everything here in Cincinnati a few years
ago when that lady caused all sorts of havoccure.

Speaker 1 (36:41):
Yeah, and that was before the AI. She just took
she just took a cardboard cutout of a monkey and
put it in a tree and said, hey, this is real,
and everybody came running.

Speaker 2 (36:48):
Dude, I believed it too. I'm like, I want to
find these monkeys. I'm close to the area. People were
saying that they saw them at like U see hospital
and like running on the highway and stuff.

Speaker 3 (36:57):
So it just knows because.

Speaker 1 (36:58):
You know what I watched on Sunday, there was a
marathon on one of these dopey channels of Kesha. She
has a ghost show, you know. And I love Kesha
because she's sexy and and some some executive is obviously
into her because they gave her a show because she
apparently believes in ghost.

Speaker 3 (37:15):
So she says she does have a ghost thing, doesn't she.

Speaker 1 (37:17):
Yeah, So she's just walking around these old houses and
stuff and she thinks there's ghosts in these houses and
it is hilarious because she she just like every time
there's a sound, she's like, oh my God. Then they
go to commercials and they come back in their lives
nothing ghost shows.

Speaker 3 (37:32):
They are so fake. They're like I heard something. I
know it's a ghost.

Speaker 1 (37:35):
I know. But now with this all this AI stuffed,
all the Bigfoot people and all the ghost people are
it's all going to be outrageous. It's going to be hilarious.

Speaker 2 (37:44):
And my aunt really believes in Bigfoot, so I know
that the AI images, she's gonna fall for all of them.

Speaker 3 (37:51):
And I told you it's real.

Speaker 1 (37:53):
The old picture of NeSSI I told you how they
made that. Yeah, it's some guy in the water with
his hand sticking out.

Speaker 3 (38:00):
I remember you showing that to me last year.

Speaker 1 (38:02):
It's just a guy going like a like a duck
thing on that with an on the lamp, with the lamp,
the shadow, that's all that is.

Speaker 2 (38:09):
It's like, is this real or cake? That was a
big trend on TCA. This is so stupid, I know,
I know. So now they're dealing with drama in Saint
Louis because of AI. They can't find these monkeys. We're like,
we don't know which call is real, which one's fake,
what's real on social and what's not.

Speaker 1 (38:25):
Let's create one let's try to get like Channel nine
to fall for something we make.

Speaker 3 (38:29):
But monkeys in our studio, right, we got them?

Speaker 1 (38:31):
Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (38:34):
They made their way to Cincinnati and there here in
studio with us this morning.

Speaker 1 (38:38):
Let's say we've been hiding Harambe. It was a big fake.
It was. It was staged.

Speaker 3 (38:44):
You really could get people to fall from.

Speaker 1 (38:45):
Yeah, well, just open up a closet and have an
old Harambe sitting in there with Tupac.

Speaker 3 (38:51):
Just shove them all together.

Speaker 4 (38:52):
Why not.

Speaker 7 (39:00):
Do it?

Speaker 6 (39:00):
Stewart, that's the old one.

Speaker 1 (39:05):
Yes, we'll let it slide. We'll let it slide.

Speaker 3 (39:10):
Petros Welcome to studio, my friend.

Speaker 1 (39:12):
Good to be back. That's the old one, Stuart. I
don't know why I put that one in.

Speaker 10 (39:16):
And I'm the new one, New Day, New me.

Speaker 1 (39:18):
Yeah, it's two thousand, Chris, there you go. Yeah, no,
I like it. Yeah, sorry, I put the old one in.

Speaker 12 (39:29):
You really apologize if you're giving me a Jimmy Hendrick
intro to me.

Speaker 3 (39:31):
No, it's so good. I missed that one.

Speaker 1 (39:35):
Yeah, it gets flagged on the podcast because it's a
copyrighted song. I just kill it. Hey, all right, So
here's the thing. Stuart w Penrose is here from the
Manilo Law Group. All right, now I'm trying something new
here on the show, Stuart, because we get people that
send us.

Speaker 6 (39:51):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (39:52):
I get emails all the time, because you know, we're
a radio show. It's audio and the email, and uh,
whenever I get an email, I say, you got a call,
you know, And everybody's so busy because everybody listens to
the show is a CEO and they're way too busy
and they're uh, you know, running companies and stuff.

Speaker 10 (40:13):
You know, Cause I.

Speaker 12 (40:14):
Found the spam email the spam box of my Facebook,
and it was like ten years worth of people asking
me can I sue questions?

Speaker 10 (40:21):
To this day, there must have been one hundred of
them in the Yeah.

Speaker 1 (40:24):
Well you know CEOs, it's stort. CEO's way too busy
to call five one three seven four nine one two seven.
So this girl hit me up late yesterday and had
a question. I said, hey, why don't you call in
because it's a radio show and we have a phone
number for a reason. And the CEO was too busy,
So I said, how about this call the voicemail because

(40:47):
we have our after hours line and leave a question.
So we'll do that so she called and just read
her email, which is funny. So I'm gonna let it slide.
But I think we could start. We could go with that.
We could kick off the segments with that. Okay, while
we let people call, all right, I'll allow that she.

Speaker 12 (41:11):
Gets no chance to turn down my advice and say
that it's crap though, right exactly.

Speaker 1 (41:16):
So there's no band done, there's no banter, and we
will insult you. Here we go.

Speaker 15 (41:23):
I was laid off last week from my job at
a medical spot after the business had been open for
only three months. Management told me they were closing the
establishment until further notice. I was employed as an hourly
and commission based employee, earning commission for services performed and
hourly pay for other duties. I was the only full

(41:43):
time employee. All other staff members were classified as on
call and only worked when they had scheduled appointments, which
is why they were not laid off. I received the
written letter stating that I was being laid off, effective immediately,
dated the same day. Despite this, the employer is now
asking me to come in and perform services. I am

(42:05):
currently the only licensed individual qualified to provide these specific services.
My employment has already been terminated, so I do not
understand why I am being asked to return and work
for a business that I no longer work for. The
employer informed me that I was eligible for unemployment benefits
in my state. I have applied and I'm currently awaiting approval.

(42:28):
I am concerned that returning to work, even temporarily, could
jeopardize my unemployment.

Speaker 3 (42:33):
Eligibia I qualify for benefits.

Speaker 15 (42:36):
If I am still working. I am seeking advice on
whether I am obligated to return and how to protect
myself legally and financially in this situation.

Speaker 1 (42:46):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (42:47):
Well, the whole time, I'm just thinking of her reading
or sitting at home.

Speaker 3 (42:54):
I like this girl, though, I'm got.

Speaker 10 (42:58):
She was organized with her email say that.

Speaker 2 (43:00):
Yeah, and hey, if you want to give me botox anytime,
come on down.

Speaker 1 (43:04):
Yeah. And I wanted her to call because the first
thing I would have been like, why are you even
going back to work? It's over?

Speaker 12 (43:10):
Yeah, they fired her. She's not She's not required to
go back to work. One of her questions, she's certainly
not required.

Speaker 10 (43:16):
To do that.

Speaker 1 (43:17):
Yeah, and don't don't be nice, but are.

Speaker 10 (43:19):
They trying to rehire her? There's some context missing here.

Speaker 12 (43:22):
Yeah, are they trying to make her one of these
part time you know, on call employees.

Speaker 10 (43:29):
There's just some sort of context missing here.

Speaker 3 (43:31):
That's why we need the banter, the live call.

Speaker 1 (43:34):
And why are you so busy if you don't have
a job anymore?

Speaker 3 (43:38):
And I know medspas they're not open yet. They typically
open a little bit later.

Speaker 10 (43:42):
Yeah right, yeah, yeah, I get so.

Speaker 3 (43:44):
If you're listening right now, just call in.

Speaker 1 (43:46):
Yeah. Yeah, there's a lot of things that are left
out that this is why you have to call.

Speaker 12 (43:52):
Yeah, but but not enough information for me to say
whether she'd still be eligible for unemployment or not. That
would require a little bit of research on there. But
sirly she's going to want to look into that. She's
probably gonna make more on unemployment at the moment than
she would if she just go does a gig or
two for them there.

Speaker 1 (44:07):
And also, if you get caught and they find out
that you're working and on unemployment, you're gonna have to
pay all that back.

Speaker 10 (44:13):
Yeah, that can get you in trouble then.

Speaker 12 (44:14):
Yeah, so that needs to be researched certainly before she
does anything.

Speaker 10 (44:18):
But she's certainly not obligated to go back with them.

Speaker 4 (44:21):
There.

Speaker 10 (44:21):
No, absolutely not no.

Speaker 1 (44:23):
And that's the thing. It's like, you want to know, well,
did they say, like, listen, do us a favor and
do some of these last clients or whatever, and then
down the road when we reopen such and such place
or whatever, you know, we'll hire you back.

Speaker 12 (44:36):
The good news is she sounds like a nice lady
who's intelligent. Yeah, her message was very well written. She
almost certainly can find a new job somewhere else pretty quickly.

Speaker 1 (44:45):
Yeah right, but good luck.

Speaker 2 (44:48):
I feel like if you get fired somewhere, it just
leaves a bad taste in your mouth and you just
don't want to go back. Yes, of course, yeah, yeah right,
I mean it's happened here though at iHeart, so, I
guess it depends on how much you love.

Speaker 1 (44:58):
To well listen, good luck with that. But if you
have a legal question, five one three seven four nine
one two seven's a phone number, we encourage you to
call in so we could go back and forth with
the discussion. I'm looking forward to her writing back with
her rebuttal and then next week we can hear her
read her rebuttal back.

Speaker 2 (45:20):
But yeah, if you want to get the best advice
from Stuart, you.

Speaker 3 (45:23):
Got to call up live that way, he has all
the details.

Speaker 10 (45:27):
Let me ask the questions I need.

Speaker 1 (45:30):
Or facts us.

Speaker 3 (45:30):
Yeah, I have a bird delivery.

Speaker 1 (45:35):
This year? Is Sam? Sam, you got a question for
Stuart Man?

Speaker 4 (45:39):
Yeah, I do, go ahead, I guess.

Speaker 1 (45:43):
Yeah, yeah, go ahead, And that's what's right.

Speaker 4 (45:45):
Thanks. I'm a spouse with an employee of a local
healthcare company that has about twelve thousand employees, so it's
a lot of people. And they had their GLP one
drugs all increased by over two hundred well round two
hundred percent on them.

Speaker 12 (46:04):
Uh what doscriptions the number of prescriptions they write for
them or what do you mean.

Speaker 4 (46:09):
The cost that the employees. Yeah, and they all went
up exponentially. And this is a good drug that you
need to scale down on basically. So what they're base
they're telling people is you're going to have to now
pay this exorbitant amount of money for these drugs that

(46:30):
you can't just quit. So now they go from paying
fifteen twenty dollars for their prescription to to three hundred
dollars every big jump two weeks, big jumps, and that.

Speaker 1 (46:44):
Those are weight loss drugs.

Speaker 4 (46:47):
And exactly exactly, so I'm you know, calling for somebody
else's benefit, because you know, they don't you know, want
to lose their jobs ran and craagy like that. But uh,
it's the same time, just kind of wondering what direction
an employee of a company like that would go to

(47:07):
protect themselves from something in that situation.

Speaker 12 (47:11):
I'm not sure that there's necessarily a legal challenge that
could be had as far as that. I have no
clue how these companies set their prices, you know, their
prescription drug prices.

Speaker 10 (47:21):
It's possible that the healthcare.

Speaker 12 (47:22):
System is paying an exponential amount more as well too,
and passing you know, from the uh pharmaceutical company and
passing it onto the.

Speaker 10 (47:30):
You know, onto their own internal consumer. They're the employee.
I'm not sure.

Speaker 12 (47:35):
It doesn't sound like there's necessarily some sort of employment
violation based upon that. I get the principle of what
you're talking about, and you know, that's an issue, just
a large issue just in general, the cost of health care,
the cost of prescription drugs. You know, it's certainly not
unique to you know, to what you're talking about. Although
I can sympathize with the situation.

Speaker 1 (47:54):
Yeah, this was this was an insulin problem for a
while too.

Speaker 12 (47:57):
Yeah, And I mean, I don't know how much they've
been able to scale these drugs if there's a shortage
of them. I know there was a shortage of a
o zembic for some time.

Speaker 4 (48:07):
Right, there's somebody who goes past the fact that they
they they they set up a system for the employees.
The employees had a lot of success, and they were
getting at a very good price. And now that things
have changed at the beginning of the year in the
new cycle, now we've run into a health issue where

(48:28):
a lot of these are health providers to the city
and they're all looking at their pocketbooks saying, can I
do the responsible thing and scale myself back off these
drugs at a reasonable, healthy way, or do I just
stop paying now that they're this exorbitant amount and run

(48:49):
the risk of putting myself in some sort of which
you know, I'm not being professional health provider. I have
no clue what the detriment would be to just stopping
these drugs altogether, because you can't.

Speaker 10 (49:00):
That's a medical determination, not a legal one.

Speaker 4 (49:02):
Yeah, but okay, well I didn't Yeah, at that point,
I didn't know if they you know, if they were saying, well,
if you're not going to you know, I would add
to at guess a direction that folks would go if
they ran into this situation.

Speaker 12 (49:16):
I mean, I think she should talk toover's in charge
of that program at her work, just so she has
more of an understanding as to what happened. I don't
think that really, really, really anything could be done without
having some sort of understanding. And there's nothing wrong with
her asking about that. There's no violation with her saying, hey,
you just want to know why my prescription Doug prices
went up two hundred percent or one thousand percent or

(49:38):
whatever whatever it was. There there's nothing wrong with her
wanting to get an answer to that question. I'm sure
she's not the only one.

Speaker 4 (49:45):
I think time is the thing. It was just like
this happens and then you have no you know, you know,
legal ground to stand on, and then all of a sudden,
you know, you're you're you can't do anything about it,
and you're just and uh, I didn't pretend to know
if there was you know, an outside source, a third

(50:08):
party something in in that, especially for people in that field,
they could go to. But we'll start looking at that,
for sure.

Speaker 10 (50:15):
I appreciate sure, And she could talk to her own doctor.

Speaker 12 (50:17):
Maybe there's some more options under her health insurance that
could be available to her. I'm not sure, uh, but
you know, but potentially there could be some other options
to try to lower the cost. But that's a big
that's just a big social issue in general.

Speaker 10 (50:29):
Yeah, more so than a legal one.

Speaker 12 (50:31):
I mean, the cost of prescription drugs, the cost of
you know, the affordability of healthcare in general.

Speaker 1 (50:35):
Yeah, that's right, because if you drag the law into this,
I mean, they're gonna be like, look, this isn't just
you being singled out. This is this is just happening here.

Speaker 10 (50:43):
It's a large scale problem.

Speaker 1 (50:44):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (50:44):
Yeah, and with so many employees that could back this up.
I mean they from what I mean, I don't have
their direct information, but what I was led to believe
is this affects a lot of people at this company. Yeah,
and you know, it's a large provider in this city,
so figured that you know, people feel like they don't
have anywhere to go or any someone to talk to. Well.

Speaker 1 (51:06):
And also I don't think this is a is this
still considered like a designer drug too? I mean, insulin isn't,
but this is considered a designer drugs, right.

Speaker 4 (51:15):
Think, yeah, and then but they're fine. But the fact
that they're fine, I think they're finding a lot of
good health benefits from it though. I think there's a
direction to go with like a mental health uh problem
that people have that they're seeing that this helps the
met show or something like that too. Really So yeah,

(51:37):
so what I mean, and that's that's what we're you know, facing,
is health care providers versus health care providers.

Speaker 1 (51:44):
Yeah. Yeah, well you know it's gotta's it's still new,
so it's got to sort itself out. I think that's
where it questions. Yeah, yeah, yeah, well.

Speaker 4 (51:54):
You know, and that's probably that's probably where they what
they can hide behind. They don't have to be like that,
but you know what I mean.

Speaker 1 (51:59):
Yeah, Well all right, man, Well we're good luck with everything, dude.
All right, oh, I appreciate it.

Speaker 10 (52:04):
Thanks for all the best.

Speaker 1 (52:06):
That's a tough question and yeah, tough one to answer too, Yes,
it was. So you did a good job, Stuart.

Speaker 3 (52:11):
Well, thank you your stuff.

Speaker 1 (52:13):
I'll get jaw your sweating the kid. Christ Our phone
number is five one three seven. If you have a
question for Stuart W. Penrose's Frank, Yes, I.

Speaker 11 (52:24):
Got a question about elderly man information. I guess abuse.
Uh about about a family member of mine taking advantage
of a eldery uh family member of mine?

Speaker 10 (52:40):
Someone taking advantage of an elderly family member.

Speaker 11 (52:43):
Yes, it was financial gain. The person who uh who
I'm talking about? They went on to uh a cousin's
property of mine, of mine. They weren't welcomed. They decided
to take this outery person and for their own personal

(53:04):
gain to get money, I mean a lars lumps some
of about over one thousand dollars for their own needs.
And they weren't welcomed on the property. They decided to
I guess trespass. And I'm just trying to figure out,

(53:25):
since a lot of things were shady, what are some
things that like for my family and what can they
do to protect this person and not only that but
get financial means back. I mean, if they're even if
there have to be a su or.

Speaker 10 (53:42):
Law had to cut you off here. But it sounds
like some crimes were committed.

Speaker 12 (53:45):
I mean, I can't tell if you're talking about a
kidnapping a theft.

Speaker 11 (53:50):
I don't know if it's a kidnapping. If you can
take a ouary person.

Speaker 12 (53:53):
Well, you can't take anybody, because that would be a
kidnapping if you take somebody, if you just snatch them
up them.

Speaker 10 (53:58):
Away shul definition, that is the exact. So it sounds
like you described three crimes.

Speaker 12 (54:03):
A trespass, a possible kidden happening, and then some sort
of theft.

Speaker 10 (54:08):
I would talk to the police about that.

Speaker 4 (54:10):
All right.

Speaker 11 (54:10):
Now, what if my family decides against that, because I
when it first happened, I told them you go to cops,
and I don't think anything like that has happened.

Speaker 10 (54:19):
So how long ago was this?

Speaker 4 (54:22):
Im? Sorry?

Speaker 10 (54:23):
How long ago? Was this?

Speaker 11 (54:26):
A couple of weeks ago? At least three weeks ago?

Speaker 10 (54:28):
I'd go to the cops, Man, what are.

Speaker 11 (54:30):
What are the stipulations on things like this?

Speaker 12 (54:33):
Times of the essence? You don't you don't want them
to wait? I mean they've already waited around two weeks,
which isn't good. But it's not like we're talking about
two months here. I would have them go to the
talks to the cops today.

Speaker 11 (54:42):
And if they decide against that, then.

Speaker 12 (54:45):
If they decide against it, sounds like they're not interested
in pursuing anything.

Speaker 16 (54:49):
And what about getting financial means back?

Speaker 11 (54:51):
Like a thousand dollars because that's something that it's just
it's a bad thing all over.

Speaker 10 (54:56):
I would suggest that could be done through criminal restitution potentially,
and that furthermore, if you want this person to stay
away from them, a judge could put on a stay
away order.

Speaker 11 (55:05):
Would that be the same as a restraining order essentially?

Speaker 10 (55:08):
Yes?

Speaker 11 (55:09):
Okay, then the criminal restitution.

Speaker 1 (55:12):
Would a justice center have all that?

Speaker 11 (55:14):
Or where do I need to go?

Speaker 12 (55:15):
You need to talk to the police about this first
and foremost. It's not going to make it to the
justice center unless you talk to the police and they
decide to charge.

Speaker 1 (55:21):
Got it?

Speaker 6 (55:21):
All right?

Speaker 1 (55:22):
Man? Thanks, all right, I'm hanging up on that guy.
Somebody kidnapped his brain.

Speaker 10 (55:25):
You can lead a horse to water, but you can't
make him drink.

Speaker 1 (55:28):
My God on the phone right now, This is Jeff.
Jeff's got a legal question. He's our last one, all right,
Jeff knocking out in the park fellaw.

Speaker 16 (55:39):
Hey man, thanks, I'm a road and ran off the
road by a vehicle. The gentleman behind me took a
picture of the car that rained me off the road.
Nice and uh came back gave it to me. I

(56:00):
was in the past. Received and you know, told the
uh top about all this, and the top said there
was nothing that he could do about it.

Speaker 10 (56:11):
Oh, did you get the witness number and information?

Speaker 16 (56:17):
Yes, yes, I have the witness's main numbers. He said,
call him any time he helped out in any way,
shape or for you kid?

Speaker 10 (56:24):
When did this happen?

Speaker 16 (56:27):
Christmas eve?

Speaker 10 (56:28):
Christmas Eve, Merry Christmas?

Speaker 12 (56:29):
Ye?

Speaker 10 (56:31):
Agoa, just just just tell me, tell me what happened?
He ran you off the I mean, tell me what happened?

Speaker 4 (56:35):
Here?

Speaker 10 (56:36):
Were you injured?

Speaker 16 (56:37):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (56:38):
Yes?

Speaker 16 (56:38):
Florence, Kentucky. Driving down Industrial going westbound. I was in
the slow lane. A gentleman was in the fast lane.
Next thing, he was approximately two to three feet ahead
of me and literally just drove into my lane. I
had to swerve to not hit him, and when I did,

(57:02):
slam showed, my rim, alignment, grew up, attire, all that fun.

Speaker 1 (57:11):
You know.

Speaker 16 (57:12):
Well, no one was injured.

Speaker 3 (57:14):
Are you sure about that? Like some pain?

Speaker 1 (57:19):
How long do we have to be doing this segment
before people realize that you always have to be injured?

Speaker 16 (57:26):
I guess I'm just not a soul.

Speaker 1 (57:29):
Honestly, doesn't get you anywhere, mister.

Speaker 11 (57:34):
Right right, Stuart?

Speaker 3 (57:36):
Can you get out of this though.

Speaker 12 (57:38):
I mean you can make an insurance claim against his
insurance if he had insurance. As far as your property damage,
that would be your biggest thing.

Speaker 4 (57:45):
Uh.

Speaker 12 (57:45):
Have you made a claim with your own insurance. I
mean they you know, they should be able to do
an insurance check on him by but by using his
uh information that you have the license plate information.

Speaker 10 (57:55):
They have large databases to look up these things.

Speaker 16 (57:57):
M hm okay, okay, I was sold by another office
ship that I know that. Uh, I should keep you know,
tightening the screws on this guy, and you know, get
him to write in the report that he refused to
get a hold of the other guy, the.

Speaker 10 (58:16):
Purp right, But the guy who made your off the road,
I'm assuming he just ran off and has been m
I A am I incorrect?

Speaker 16 (58:25):
You're not in track. He exactly, he poured it, he
was out of there. He knew exactly what.

Speaker 10 (58:29):
Okay, so there's been no word, no nothing from this guy.

Speaker 12 (58:31):
We don't necessarily know who he is is what you're
saying exactly, but you have his license plate.

Speaker 3 (58:36):
Then you got everything you need. Yeah, yeah, insurance, get.

Speaker 12 (58:41):
Your insurance involved. Contact your insurance company about this and
you can start the property claim with them.

Speaker 10 (58:48):
If you have that.

Speaker 12 (58:48):
Particular coverage, you're at your deductible initially. But they can
do a check through his license plate. They have all
the database. I mean, you can do it yourself, but
it's harder for an individual to do that. Your insurance
company can look up into two seconds who this guy
is and if he has insurance on that vehicle.

Speaker 16 (59:05):
Okay, I mean I would assume so it was a
new toy camera.

Speaker 10 (59:09):
So well, never assume anything that that that anybody does
the responsible thing. But you want to but you want to.

Speaker 12 (59:15):
Get on this and it's already uh January fourteenth. This
happened on December twenty fourth, We've had a few weeks.

Speaker 10 (59:21):
Get on it today.

Speaker 1 (59:22):
Well, if it happened on Christmas Eve, was a man
wearing a red suit reindeer.

Speaker 3 (59:26):
Car because I think you should let that guy slide.

Speaker 10 (59:29):
I want to know, like a little dot nose in
the front of his car.

Speaker 1 (59:33):
He could have been a late the delivered presence all
the good boys and girls.

Speaker 2 (59:37):
Now, if you had antlers and a red nose on
that camera, he definitely deserves a fine for that.

Speaker 1 (59:42):
That's right.

Speaker 10 (59:43):
That Santa has immunity.

Speaker 1 (59:46):
Right right, you got this.

Speaker 16 (59:48):
I appreciate everything.

Speaker 1 (59:49):
All right, good luck.

Speaker 3 (59:50):
You're going to get this guy.

Speaker 10 (59:51):
You got it, Santa Claus.

Speaker 1 (59:53):
Yeah, I love you.

Speaker 3 (59:56):
Rock on rock on sea, Rock on a fella. Yep,
he said, fellas.

Speaker 1 (01:00:03):
Sarah or Stuart. It was good seeing you. You're very handsome.
Every every week we see you get handsome and handsomer.
Thank you, and enough for bringing in the chair. You
sit over here on this lap. I'll let you touch
the buttons from now on. Okay, you do it, You
do it yourself.

Speaker 10 (01:00:18):
I just thripped my mouth.

Speaker 1 (01:00:19):
Don't do that. Don't do that, Stuart. Where can people
get ahold of you again?

Speaker 12 (01:00:24):
At the Manilo Law Group at five one three three
sixteen hundred. That's auto Accident's bankruptcyes ov I S give
us a call.

Speaker 3 (01:00:31):
Yes, all of the things.

Speaker 1 (01:00:32):
