I mean, always for sure, right, I mean the reality
of it is, in all seriousness, the Wolves have played
the Nuggets tough pretty much every single time they've they've met,
and certainly in the postseason they beat them in twenty
twenty four. I just think this is a better Nuggets team.

I think they're playing really good basketball. Hopefully get everybody
back and healthy. Peyton Watson, the one guy I'm a
little bit concerned about. You'd like to get Spencer Jones
back too, and the Wolves. You know, it didn't have
the kind of year that maybe Miny in Minnesota thought.

this is a really close competitive series.

They're long, their wings are long. They've got enough size
and athletic ability that in the past they've been able

I get all that Gobert has been the defensive player
of the year, although I think Jokich certainly more than
holds his own against Rudy, So I guess I could
see it being a very tough series. I just think
the Nuggets are a better basketball team. They have home

In advance, Jokich is eleven and seven head to head
with Rudy Gobert in the postseason. Okay, so you're right,
there's good, good battles, good battles, But Yo Kitchen tends

saying he's fallen off, but he's I don't know.

about his rehab. But you know, there's some people that
kind of wonder a little bit, and I'm still kind
of wonder about where he's at. Is where not only

I did for a moment when I heard Jim Nantz,
you know, breaking that down. And maybe this is just
over the course of the season, right of Sean shutting

us down whenever we've talked about injuries. But in the
back of my mind, I was like, oh, I wonder
if Sean's upset about this, like if Shawn's like, don't tell,
don't don't tell people how good Bow is doing just
yet I don't.

beat the Patriots. I think they certainly had the better team.
I wonder how Drake May feels about his postseason. He
probably can't wait to get back to training camp and

they made it to the super Bowl, and we'll see,

Charlotte has been one of the surprise teams of the
NBA this season. They have they have really played well

I like that we have something to watch on TV
other than other things. Starting tonight with two NBA playoff
games and their Meaningful Games game. Dave nailed it. I
think anytime you can add meaningful games to a schedule, NBA, baseball, everything,
it means something to people because, especially especially these long seasons,

you know, we see of NBA teams take a game
off here or there. I love meaningful games in the NBA.
This is now. This is the must watch TV once
you get into the postseason. And in baseball, I don't
know what they could do about that. To me, they
played too many games, most of them by the fourth
of July don't even matter anymore, or at least half

the teams in the league. So yeah, the more meaningful
games the better.

Now you mentioned, you know, the Hornets, and I guess
the East probably is a little more wide open. I mean,
when the Nuggets won the championship, the Heat were one
of those teams, right they were.

They ended up being the eighth seed in the Celtics

And they went all the way and made it to
the finals. Of course they lost to that point, but
they went on quite a run. Is there a team

I think the Spurs are are too good for anybody
in the seventh spot. The one team that I think
has a chance, no matter who they play, of the

lot of perimeter scoring. I think Portland is kind of
a scary team. Now, I don't you know, they're They're
going to be decided underdogs should they play Oak City

Drake May and bonis hanging out at the Masters together,
walking up and down the undulation and the greens and
the grass and all those kinds of things. I mean,
that was, hey, man, we're looking for some exciting things
to hear about bon nickx's rehab. The fact that he's
out there walking and that's a bit of the Masters,

but I imagine it is a lot of walking, pretty exciting
stuff here, right.

Interested in how did bo Nicks look than the fact
that he was hanging out with Drake May. And that's
that's great to hear that news that he looked good

I then there was a lot of doubt here Dave
about his rehab. But you know, there's some people that

I did for a moment when I heard Jim Nantz,
you know, breaking that down. And maybe this is just
over the course of the season, right of Sean shutting

us down whenever we've talked about injuries. But in the
back of my mind, I was like, oh, I wonder
if Sean's upset about this, like if Shawn's like, don't tell,
don't don't tell people how good Bow is doing just
yet I don't.

in life, there's just a pecking order and you want

then sometimes the the rooster you're looking at is just
a bigger rooster. And in this case, Jalen Hurts is

a bigger player at a key.

Position as opposed to a J. Brown at wide receiver.

So my guess is he'll he'll be with the Patriots.
The qualifier would be unless there's something that he would
look at with respect to what's going on with Mike Vrabel.

that that change is the landscape. But sometimes for players

don't want to get into like a sticky situation. I mean,
you go basically as a free agent, you go for
a money, be the system. Now you've got a young
quarterback for sure, But I also think you know, within
the top five in terms of reasons you might go.

The relationship with that perspective, head coach would be in
that as well. Right, So, but I still think I
still think the deal of good done you brought up
the Vabel situation is something going to go down with Rabel.
We saw Russini resigned and I'm sure they told her, hey,
if you don't resign, We're gonna fire you.

Charlotte has been one of the surprise teams of the
NBA this season. They have they have really played well

basically an NBA game or more than a game almost
every single night.

You like that they spread it out though, like as
much as they do.

I like that we have something to watch on TV
other than other things. Starting tonight with two NBA playoff
games and their Meaningful Games game. Dave nailed it. I
think anytime you can add meaningful games to a schedule, NBA, baseball, everything,
it means something to people because, especially especially these long seasons,

you know, we see of NBA teams take a game
off here or there. I love meaningful games in the NBA.
This is now. This is the must watch TV once
you get into the postseason. And in baseball, I don't
know what they could do about that. To me, they
played too many games, most of them by the fourth
of July don't even matter anymore, or at least half

the teams in the league. So yeah, the more meaningful
games the better.

Now you mentioned, you know, the Hornets, and I guess
the East probably is a little more wide open. I mean,
when the Nuggets won the championship, the Heat were one
of those teams, right they were.

They ended up being the eighth seed in the Celtics
this rice.

And they went all the way and made it to
the finals. Of course they lost to that point, but
they went on quite a run. Is there a team
in the West because you got the the Suns and
Trailblazers tonight, and then tomorrow night you've got the Clippers
and Warriors, because Oklahoma City looks just like one of
those teams.

And I'm not saying that because.

I just whoever is the eight seed feels like a
bit of a lost cause. But the seven going against

I think the Spurs are are too good for anybody
in the seventh spot. The one team that I think
has a chance, no matter who they play, of the

lot of perimeter scoring. I think Portland is kind of
a scary team. Now, I don't you know, they're They're
going to be decided underdogs should they play Oak City
or San Antonio. But I do think that they they

I know he went to Europe not exactly sure what
he was doing, but I'd like him to make a
public so that if it actually works, then what is it?
You know, it's a plane ticket for us absolutely, we

injury is a little bit different than you know, like

terms of the pain tolerance, that's a hard thing to
play through. Even for Luca, who can kind of play
his game offensively at times, can be like the old man.

step up and shoot a wide open three point shot.
There's one thing, and I think Brown's gotten better down
the stretch, be a little more confident Okay, it's but
it's one thing, you know, shooting it in a regular
season game. It's another thing shooting it in a two
point game with four minutes to go in the fourth
in a series tied at two games apiece. Then do

you do you really want that shot? But if I
if I'm defending the Nuggets, I'm gonna make Christian shoot
that ball, and if it goes in, I'll live with it.
And then again, I think the Caruso factor. You know,

have Hardaway last year, so some of those wide open shots,
if you create him for Hardaway, then that's that's a
little bit. It's a little bit different deal.

And listen, I think I think Christian Brown is starting
to sort of come into his own a little bit
down the stretch. So he's never gonna be maybe a
great knockdown three point shooter, but he's going to be
a competent guy that if you give him an open shot,
he's got the confidence that, Hey, I'm gonna let this
thing go and I know I'm gonna make it.
