Speaker 1 (00:00):
One two point five kz okay. Time for kicking it
with John Ryan. Seahawks legend John Ryan, what's on your
mind this week?

Speaker 2 (00:11):
Well, I wanted to talk to all the Twelves out
there today. It's been a really weird week. First we
lose an all time great player and guy in the
history of the team and Tyler Lockett. Then DK asks
to leave, then Gino is traded. A lot went down
in a short time. I think most people can see
the Lockett thing coming. It's it's a part of the business.
But like myself, guys like Big Walt, cam kJ Sir

(00:33):
and so many other guys that spent so much of
their career in Seattle, we will always be Seahawks forever.
And that's how Tyler Lockett would be. If he goes
on in place two or three years somewhere else, He'll
forever be a Seahawks. There's nothing like playing in Seattle
for the twelves. I played for seven teams in two
leagues over nineteen years, and I loved everywhere I played,
but nothing compared to playing in the Seattle. Yeah. Yeah,

(00:55):
So now we have Sam Darnault. I've heard some excited
fan and I've heard a lot of negativity from I
say all Twelves, please give the guy a chance. I
know he'll love playing here and hope we all end
up loving him. And honestly, he's still only twenty seven
years old. He could be our quarterback for the next
ten years. Who knows. When we dropped Russell Wilson the
third round to back up Matt Flynn, no one thought

(01:17):
we were gonna fall in love with him, and we
all fell in love with him. When we signed Geno Smith,
every one thought why we signed a backup quarterback to start?
We ended up loving him. So just give Sam don
Know a chance. That's my message to the Twelves. It's
been a weird week in see Hawk Lands and change
is never comfortable, but it's inevitable, so let's all just
hang in there at Twelves. I really believe that we're
all love what's next to this team, So go Hank.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
That was kicking it with John Ryan
